- 0:01I apologize to you sincerely for being late.
- 0:05There's no excuse, but there's a mad scramble in the world right
- 0:10now. Are you feeling it?
- 0:12A mad scramble, a mania for silver and gold.
- 0:16We're going to look at what's going on in the world as a whole
- 0:19and we where we are seeing unbelievable demand and
- 0:24movements within the silver and gold markets.
- 0:27But first, let's talk about what happened yesterday and how crazy
- 0:31it is right now, How sensitive the markets are to any type of
- 0:35news. Yesterday we got shocking news
- 0:38that first time jobless claims were way up.
- 0:41That sent the silver and gold market flying.
- 0:45Hey look guys, we've talked about this ad nauseam.
- 0:48The economy is heading for very, very difficult times ahead.
- 0:52There is no other way to talk about it.
- 0:56OK, actually, I went yesterday to pick up some chicken wings
- 1:00from Buffalo Wild Wings. And when I was picking them up
- 1:02from the girl, I said here's a couple dollars, thank you very
- 1:06much. I said, I feel poor lately.
- 1:09She's like, everybody feels poor.
- 1:11She went on a diatribe. She's like, there's nobody
- 1:14coming into this restaurant. Buffalo Wild Wings was pretty
- 1:17much empty at lunchtime. And she's like, nobody's coming
- 1:20in here anymore. Nobody's spending any money.
- 1:23We know Red Lobster's going to go belly up or sink to the
- 1:28bottom of the ocean however we want to say it.
- 1:30But guys, things are getting crazy right now.
- 1:34Let's talk about worldwide unbelievable situation we're
- 1:39living. We're living in it right now.
- 1:41This unbelievable market for silver and gold.
- 1:46Let's get started by going to let's go see what happened in
- 1:48China. Can you say $32 silver?
- 1:51How about $20,000 gold? We're going to talk about that
- 1:55later. A top analyst who's saying in
- 1:57showing us how we could get the $20,000 gold.
- 2:00But what about $32 silver right now?
- 2:04I'm going to show it to you in just one second.
- 2:08Here we go. Our friend the Oriental ghost,
- 2:12Right. OK, silver vaults.
- 2:14Well, let's get to this. First, let's look at the daily
- 2:17report. This is the Shanghai Gold
- 2:19Exchange and the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
- 2:22Here is silver AG on the Shanghai Gold Exchange $31.87.
- 2:29Darn it guys, we didn't quite get to our $32.
- 2:32But remember, this is the physical market in China.
- 2:37China is taking over the silver and gold markets.
- 2:40What about in the Shanghai Futures Exchange?
- 2:43Oh, we got a little bit closer, almost $32.
- 2:46Thirty $1.94 if if you if you just.
- 2:50I mean, I know it's hard to believe if you actually want to
- 2:53buy a contract to buy silver and maybe, just maybe actually have
- 3:00the physical silver delivered because that's unbelievably what
- 3:04they do on the Shanghai Gold Exchange and the Shanghai
- 3:08Futures Exchange. They actually deliver physical
- 3:11metal, not like our Comex and the LBMA.
- 3:14You know those boys and girls at the Comex here in the United
- 3:18States of America and the OBMA in London, England are shaking
- 3:22in their boots. Look at this big bright red down
- 3:26here. New low.
- 3:28We love the we love the Oriental ghost.
- 3:31We got to have him in the basement.
- 3:32Wouldn't you like to meet this guy?
- 3:34He does this every day tirelessly.
- 3:36New low Shanghai Futures Exchange silver vaults dropped
- 3:42again today and let's look at gold.
- 3:44Oh, 2393 in U.S. dollars per oz. But we got it guys.
- 3:52If you want to buy gold on the Shanghai Futures Exchange, it's
- 3:56going to cost you a little more change.
- 3:58Yeah, like a lot more change. Because on the Shanghai Futures
- 4:02Exchange, gold's trading for 2418 dollars.
- 4:07Let's go see what it's trading for here in the United States of
- 4:10America from our friends over at Pimbex.
- 4:13And we're going to get an up to date quote, 23 dollars.
- 4:18Wow, $2370 right now for an ounce of gold silver 2847.
- 4:26Thank you Pembex for providing us with that quote, but thank
- 4:29you even more for providing us your mission right to get
- 4:34precious metals in the hands of everyday investors.

- 4:40platinum benefit by throwing Pembex into the mix, their
- 4:47mission is to give you right more metal for your money.
- 4:51Reliable service, a company you can trust.
- 4:54I think Pembex is best, and I think if you check them out, you
- 4:57will too. And if you ever want to convert
- 4:58all or part of an individual retirement retirement account
- 5:02into Silver, Gold, right, talk to the guys at Pembex as well.
- 5:06All right, Back here, worldwide, worldwide phenomena right now.
- 5:10Are you feeling it? Is it happening right before our
- 5:14very eyes? Has the storm hit?
- 5:18Where else are we seeing? We know what's going on in
- 5:20China. We've talked about that, but
- 5:22where else in the world are we seeing unbelievable hoarding of
- 5:27gold, unbelievable action in the gold and silver markets, our
- 5:33young people? What would it mean if, oh, hold
- 5:37on here, here we go. What would it mean if we had
- 5:41young people joining? Think about this, this is going
- 5:46on all over the world and I got a lot more proof for you.
- 5:49Not only is it going on all over the world, but it's going on
- 5:52with younger people now as well. Let's go check out what our
- 5:56friends in Germany are doing. Germans are we?
- 6:02Nobody talks about Germans. This is going to shock you.
- 6:05This is this shocked me. Germans hoard tons of gold.
- 6:11Germany's kind of like Japan. We kind of like forget about
- 6:13them. But these are two of the world's
- 6:15biggest economies, together with the Federal Reserve's gold
- 6:18reserves. And that's in Germany, which is
- 6:203300 tons. It turns out that 5.96% of the
- 6:26world's gold is German property. Unbelievable.
- 6:31But it gets even more interesting, right?
- 6:36Germans. Gold hordes which consists of
- 6:38bars, coins and jewelry remain at high levels.
- 6:40The pandemic increase the demand for gold as a safe haven in
- 6:44times of crisis. The record for Germany was
- 6:47achieved in 2021 with 9000 tons. OK, I'm going to get to the part
- 6:52here where they talk to us about about the younger people buying.
- 7:00Oh, hold on here. Somewhere in here it talks about
- 7:08younger Germans buying gold as well.
- 7:10OK, gold stocks held by private German households in Germany as
- 7:14investments in the forms of bars or coins have increased since
- 7:192021 by 35 tons. The remaining almost 4000 tons
- 7:24are in Germany are in jewelry. Sorry.
- 7:30Oh, here we go, Here we go, here we go.
- 7:32Those who buy gold as an investment identify inflation
- 7:36protection. Does that sound familiar as
- 7:37their main motive? 40% almost.
- 7:40In the meantime, the young Generation Z, Generation Z, born
- 7:46between 1995 and 2010, have also turned to gold purchases.
- 7:52What's more, from the study, it is clear that they even buy a
- 7:57lot. What's that?
- 7:59Oh, forgot to share the screen. Darn it.
- 8:04Boy, it's one of those mornings guys.
- 8:06Thank you, Susie. Thank you, Susie, for helping
- 8:08me. This is the article here on
- 8:10ACMU. This was the paragraph I was
- 8:14reading. Those who buy gold as an
- 8:16investment identify inflation protection.
- 8:18Right. Familiar as their main motive
- 8:2040%. In the meantime, the young
- 8:23Generation Z born between 1995 and 2010.
- 8:27These are young people have also turned to gold purchases.
- 8:30But it gets crazier because it says What's more, from the study
- 8:34it is clear that they even buy a lot more gold than the older
- 8:37people. So we got China.
- 8:39Check. The world's second biggest
- 8:41economy. We have Germany.
- 8:42Check. One of the one of the world's
- 8:44five biggest economies. OK, we know this from yesterday.
- 8:48Koreans are going crazy over bar.
- 8:51What about Korea again, One of the world's bigger economies.
- 8:55Gold bars are selling like hot cakes in Korea's convenience
- 9:00stores, convenience stores and vending machines.
- 9:04We're gonna glance over this one because those of you that were
- 9:06with us yesterday, we talked about this in more detail.
- 9:10But besides buying sausages at the convenience stores, Koreans
- 9:14are now buying gold bars. Guys, it's happening for us all
- 9:20over the world right now. A variety of fingernail sized
- 9:23gold bars weighing between .1g and 1.87g have been up for sale
- 9:28at their convenience store outlets since the beginning of
- 9:31April. Again, listen, listen to this.
- 9:34It's going on 2/2 key things we need to remember.
- 9:37It's happening all over the world.
- 9:40It's even happening in the United States of America.
- 9:43We're going to talk about that too.
- 9:45But it's happening everywhere. We know gold and silver have
- 9:48always been valuable everywhere, but now there's renewed
- 9:51interest. But what's even more exciting
- 9:54about this and points to even more demand.
- 9:58And more demand means higher value.
- 10:01We're not going to talk about prices and paper Fiat, you know,
- 10:05Japanese yen or U.S. dollars or you know, we're talking about
- 10:08real value, more demand around the world.
- 10:12But the younger people right here in Korea, also people in
- 10:17their 30s were most active in purchasing these gold bars,
- 10:21accounting for over 41% of the total sales since their launch.
- 10:28OK, where else? What about in America?
- 10:31Oh, another one from CNBC. Cotton.
- 10:33Now this is a little bit older, right?
- 10:35One month old, but still, let's remember Costco selling as much
- 10:38as 200 million in gold bars monthly 200 million.
- 10:43Wells Fargo estimates I was looking on in Saint Louis.
- 10:47There's a there's a Saint Louis. Hold on, I'll see if I can pull
- 10:51it up for you very quickly. This just to to show you what is
- 10:56going on. There's a Saint Louis Facebook.
- 10:58I can't get in there 'cause I'm on the wrong browser.
- 11:00I'll tell you verbally. And I apologize to you for being
- 11:04late today, and I apologize for not sharing my screen earlier,
- 11:08but there's a Saint Louis Costco wholesale like page every day
- 11:13now. People are putting up, I guess
- 11:15they're selling 10 oz. Canadian mint bars at Costco.
- 11:18It's happening everywhere. And people are commenting like
- 11:22those are cool. Oh, yeah.
- 11:24You know, I've heard. Look, we welcome the Costco
- 11:27people. They're going to wake up
- 11:29eventually and realize that they want to actually buy their
- 11:32silver, gold and platinum from a specialist.
- 11:34There's a lot of great companies out there, right?
- 11:36I prefer Pinbecs. We talked about them earlier.
- 11:39I think these online bullion dealers are going to be hit with
- 11:42a flood of new customers, and it's going to be a very
- 11:46interesting scenario. So we know Germany.
- 11:47We know. Korea.
- 11:48We know. Hey, thank you for the Super
- 11:51chat. Wow, that's awesome.
- 11:54Ramos Neferon. Wow.
- 11:56I don't know what currency that is, but thank you, my friend.
- 11:59I appreciate that. Let's get back here.
- 12:02Where else? Oh, here again.
- 12:05What other country? Vietnam registers strongest
- 12:09bullion demands since 2015. This is a worldwide phenomena.
- 12:15And I forgot to tell you guys, we're gonna have a special
- 12:17guests. Guests, this is joining us here
- 12:19in a little bit to talk about what's going on at the center of
- 12:24the world's financial universe with gold and silver, new laws
- 12:30right, that are pending that could make a massive difference
- 12:34in the bullion field. So hang with us for that one.
- 12:37But now we've got Vietnam, so we've got Germany, we've got
- 12:40Korea, We know China. I mean, it's absolutely crazy
- 12:45what is going on in the world right now when it comes to
- 12:50silver and gold. And let's not forget this.
- 12:54You know what that is? That's 800,000 people in China
- 13:00lined up to buy gold. 800,000. No, the world's not.
- 13:06That's more Chinese gold demand. No, the world's not going crazy
- 13:10over silver and gold. Absolutely not, right.
- 13:12We have no nothing to worry about there.
- 13:14What about this? Hold on, here we go.
- 13:22What about ETF inflows? Let's take a look at this from
- 13:31the SRSR Scirocco report. Large Chinese Gold ETF Inflows
- 13:39Yesterday, A stunning Think about this. 470,000 ounces of
- 13:45gold moved in two A Chinese gold ETF that represents over $1
- 13:53billion of gold that was deposited into a Chinese gold
- 13:59ETF. And you know what we forgot?
- 14:01Let's go back here. We forgot to mention this as
- 14:06well from our friend the, the, the, the, the, the Oriental Go
- 14:11Silver vaults dropped again today.
- 14:13New low. Listen, gold, silver and the
- 14:17miners and jewelry stocks because a lot of their jewelry
- 14:21obviously is, is tied with gold and silver in the Shanghai Gold
- 14:25Exchange, Shanghai Futures Exchange and stock market all
- 14:29surged. That was yesterday.
- 14:31So it's not just the price, the $32 price that we're seeing
- 14:36almost $32 in China for silver, but it's the stocks that are
- 14:41associated with the precious metals as well.
- 14:46And I want you to think about this, is that next to happen
- 14:49here in the United States, right.
- 14:50On that subject matter, let's say thank you to channel sponsor
- 14:53First mining Gold, they're a gold mining stock, a gold
- 14:57development stock, right. They're developing projects, 2
- 15:00multi million ounce projects in Canada.
- 15:02Reach out to Paul Morris, the nicest guy you'll ever talk to,
- 15:06right And very knowledgeable. He has years and years of
- 15:10experience with the precious metal sector.
- 15:12He's first mining Gold's Director of Investor Relations.
- 15:15I'll put a link to his e-mail in the description below.
- 15:17And our friends at Fortuna continue to perform.
- 15:21They had great earnings that were out earlier in the week.
- 15:25You can learn more about Fortuna silver@fortunasilver.com But
- 15:29when will the mining stocks catch up to the metals prizes?
- 15:34Let's do a quick update. I can't help it.
- 15:38Let's take a look. Right up, $23 on gold.
- 15:42But when we update, we get 21 still silver hanging in there.
- 15:47Silver at 2840 per oz. It's absolutely crazy.
- 15:52So we know we know what's going on in the world right now.
- 15:57It do you feel it as a basement dweller?
- 16:00And by the way, thank you for being here today.
- 16:02Yes, I'm talking to you, right. There's only one.
- 16:05You sure? We've got 600 people joining us
- 16:08right now on the live stream, but you?
- 16:11Yeah, it's not possible without your participation.
- 16:13So on behalf of myself and Susie, it's a big deal.
- 16:16You're here. We hope you feel like you're at
- 16:18home. Some of us like to call
- 16:19ourselves basement dwellers, but know that it's a big honor when
- 16:23you join us. Please give this a thumbs up.
- 16:25You can subscribe to the channel That's free, and super chats are
- 16:28always super appreciated. Let's talk about though, right?
- 16:34We have to realize that it's happening right now all over the
- 16:38world. We talked about Korea, we talked
- 16:40about China. We talked about Germany.
- 16:42We talked about the United States of America.
- 16:45We know in Japan they're going Gold Creek.
- 16:48But at the same time, we've got the major majority now of the
- 16:53world's population wanting to move away from the dollar, which
- 16:59will only serve to exacerbate the situation that we have at
- 17:04hand. Here we have the BRICS preparing
- 17:07for AUS dollar collapse. This comes from our friend John
- 17:10Little at Gold Star. The IMF is warning BRICS
- 17:16preparing BRICS news for the US dollar collapse.
- 17:19OK? According to Russian
- 17:20representative at the IMF, the BRICS alliance, consisting of
- 17:24Russia, India, China, Brazil and South Africa, is preparing for a
- 17:27possible collapse of the US dollar and is working to develop
- 17:31alternative financial mechanisms.
- 17:34The block is developing a new bricks currency to replace the
- 17:38US dollar, a new bricks currency to replace the US dollar
- 17:44alongside the increased use of local currencies between member
- 17:49nations. In an interview with RAARIA
- 17:53Novasti, Russian IMF Director Alexei Mozing stated that the
- 17:59shortcomings of the current financial system are becoming
- 18:01more apparent and many publications have started to
- 18:04mention BRICS as a group that will offer a successful
- 18:07alternative to the US dollar. Think about this.
- 18:12That's the world. Why?
- 18:13Maybe This is why the world central banks are buying record
- 18:16amounts of gold. Is that not the 93rd time you've
- 18:19heard that in the last four days?
- 18:21Maybe, right? Maybe as this happens, as the
- 18:25world de Dollarizes maybe, just maybe, right, the value of the
- 18:32dollar will go down. The real value of silver and
- 18:36gold will go up, right? That's the way this could all
- 18:40very likely play out. And we're seeing it right now.
- 18:44We're experiencing this at a time like we have never lived
- 18:48through in our lives. Guys, we are living in a period
- 18:52of change like no other that any of us have been through.
- 18:56And it's happening right before our very eyes.
- 19:00Are you prepared? Right?
- 19:02That's the question, Right. None of us.
- 19:04We know there's no such thing as being perfectly prepared, right?
- 19:08We There's always more, there's always more to worry about,
- 19:10always more to think about. But you know, a lot of us, you
- 19:13know, prepare maybe with food, maybe prepare with family and
- 19:18relationships, prepare with the precious metals.
- 19:22Precious metals, in my opinion, are probably the most important.
- 19:27And I know a lot of you don't agree with that, but nothing has
- 19:30provided a safe harbor for people throughout all types of
- 19:34turmoil that's occurred in the history of the world, like
- 19:39silver and gold. So the question again, Are you
- 19:43prepared? All right.
- 19:45You want to hear about $20,000 gold, $20,000 gold?
- 19:50We're going to try something new here.
- 19:53OK, Here it is. This guy, His name's Luke
- 19:58Grohman, is talking about how easily that gold could be
- 20:03revalued to $20,000. OK, let's listen to him here for
- 20:09a second. And.
- 20:12The gold, EU s s gold, yes, I agree entirely on on everything
- 20:18you said. I think gold is ultimately how
- 20:20they get out of this. There are provisions in the
- 20:24Federal Reserve Bank Operating Manual by which the Treasury,
- 20:31United States Treasury Secretary, can instruct the Fed
- 20:35to write up the gold. EU S s gold, and the accounting
- 20:40treatment of that is a deposit free and clear, no debt attached
- 20:45to it. So what they're talking about is
- 20:47writing up the value of the gold.
- 20:51Into the US Treasury general account.
- 20:53So at 261 million oz or 1000 tons every $4000 per oz, the
- 21:01treasury worth to instruct the Fed to write up the gold would
- 21:04deposit roughly a trillion dollars, 4000 * 261 million oz
- 21:09into the TGA. So like if if you said Luke,
- 21:12your Treasury Secretary, how can you get out of this?
- 21:16We need to get our debt to GDPP down right away.
- 21:18How do we get out of this debt spiral?
- 21:22OK, So what he's saying is all that gold that we supposedly
- 21:25have at Fort Knox, if they were to write that up from the
- 21:29current accounting treatment, which is $41.00 per oz, and
- 21:34write that up to $20,000 per oz, they could create a ton of money
- 21:39which could be used to retire some of that 3435 trillion
- 21:45dollar debt that we have. Very interesting, Keith.
- 21:48Let's listen one more minute here.
- 21:49I call up the Fed. Howell, it's over.
- 21:52You've lost the long end. No matter what you do.
- 21:55Write up the goal to. I don't know, we've have a it's
- 21:58a $24 trillion treasury market. Prices are probably down.
- 22:02What mark base value 30% on average over the last 2-3 years.
- 22:08So the real market value of the US Treasury market?
- 22:11I don't know, 12 trillion. Fifth states, 15 trillion.
- 22:15For round map. I'm gonna write up the goal by
- 22:1910 trillion, right? So it's $40,000 per.
- 22:25Just actually do it. Do 5 trillion.
- 22:26Just take a third of the debt out.
- 22:28I'm gonna write up the gold by 5 trillion.
- 22:31If I write up the gold by 5 trillion, every trillion is 4000
- 22:35bucks. So that's $20,000 And I get 5
- 22:40trillion deposited in the TGA free and clear.
- 22:42I go out into the market and I buy back a third of the of the
- 22:45US debt outstanding. Now it's a $10 trillion market
- 22:48value market against GDP of 27 trillion, give or take.
- 22:53Voila, we've gone from 1:20 to 40% in one stroke.
- 22:57Thank you for your donation, Treasury holder.
- 22:59Now, inflation rips. The dollar probably sells off
- 23:02quite a bit, but that's. All right, guys.
- 23:05So what he's talking about is basically a quick fix for the
- 23:10fact that we have a massive, massive debt problem in this
- 23:14country. Writing up the value of all that
- 23:16gold that's at Fort Knox, right to $20,000 per oz could
- 23:21basically wipe out. And there's different ways to
- 23:24calculate a lot of the national debt, return our debt to GDP
- 23:29ratio to more normal. There would be big implications.
- 23:33Obviously the US dollar would crash, right?
- 23:37The bond market would probably have some major, obviously would
- 23:40have some major, major turmoil, but this might be all that
- 23:44they're left with as an option at some point, right?
- 23:47The debt, the spiral has occurred.
- 23:49The spiral is happening right now, right before our very eyes.
- 23:54This a solution like this. I don't know how you feel about
- 23:58it but how do you feel about $20,000 gold?
- 24:02Where do you think the silver price would be?
- 24:04This report, this short video is been watched like hundreds of
- 24:09thousands of times and people are saying like you know this
- 24:13may be the last resort that our government gets to at some
- 24:17point. Isn't it always I heard
- 24:19something and and this is this is this sums up what's going on
- 24:23and I and I heard it from Rafi Farber last week when I talked
- 24:27to him. Something so poor important for
- 24:30us to remember. We always talk about Extras
- 24:32Pyramid. Let's just pull it up here real
- 24:34quickly, OK? We're always looking at Extras
- 24:40pyramid right? Because that tells us that shows
- 24:43us the real value gold and silver are the only real assets
- 24:48have been for some. But remember this and I hadn't
- 24:51heard it said this way and it and I was watching a replay of
- 24:53what Rafi said. He said gold and silver birthed
- 24:58all those other forms of money. The base money, the bank money,
- 25:01the government bonds, all of that has been birthed from gold
- 25:05and silver. If the if the Fed and the
- 25:07Treasury are forced to do something like Luke is talking
- 25:10about revaluing gold to 20, $1000 per oz, right.
- 25:17It's just a return to the natural state, a return to to to
- 25:22to to where they came from. God's money, right, Silver and
- 25:26gold. They are the base.
- 25:28They have always been the base and they're going to be there to
- 25:31help protect us in times of more and more turmoil.
- 25:35Did you hear what Stanley Druckenmiller, do you understand
- 25:38Stanley Druckenmiller is Stanley Druckenmiller is a famous, I
- 25:42mean very, very famous investor, one of the smartest guys in the
- 25:46room. And he laid into this guy, our
- 25:50old friend, remember him, Jerome Powell.
- 25:57Stanley Druckenmiller had some interesting to say, one of the
- 26:01most respected names on Wall Street.
- 26:04OK. And he was talking about the Fed
- 26:07and he said basically he was like, you know what?
- 26:10The Fed just needs to start doing their job.
- 26:13They don't need to go on 60 minutes.
- 26:15They don't need to give forward guidance.
- 26:18They don't need to do all this public relations BS right, he
- 26:22said. They think they're rock stars
- 26:24now, right? They think that they're they're
- 26:26managing perceptions, he said. They don't need to do anything.
- 26:29All they need to do is raise and lower interest rates.
- 26:32And doesn't that go back to what we said?
- 26:33The Fed has become more of APR firm over the last couple years,
- 26:38the last couple decades, than an actual bank.
- 26:41And I always say, if we were still on the gold standard and
- 26:43the silver standard, which we should be right, nobody would
- 26:46even pay attention to the Fed. We wouldn't have inflation,
- 26:49right? We wouldn't have all this
- 26:51monetary craziness. We would know just like this,
- 26:54right? This thing here, you know I love
- 26:56this, right? It's a silver certificate.
- 27:00Can you see that? Ace?
- 27:02There it goes. Silver certificate, right.
- 27:06Redeemable at the bank for Silver.
- 27:10We wouldn't be worrying about all this craziness that goes on
- 27:14with the Fed. But hey, let's talk about the
- 27:16center of the financial universe.
- 27:18Yes, I'm joining you from St. Louis, MO, the center of the
- 27:22United States. I like to think of us as the
- 27:25center of the financial universe.
- 27:27Actually. There are some very large
- 27:29financial service companies headquartered here.
- 27:31It's not just a horrible decaying downtown, but we've got
- 27:35a lot, a lot of big financial. Did you know that Missouri is,
- 27:41as far as I know, the only state that has two Federal Reserve
- 27:46banks? Yes, there's one here in Saint
- 27:47Louis and one in Kansas City. We even have a giant silver
- 27:52arch, right, which signifies to me the ability of silver to
- 27:56bring people together. But we've got some big news
- 27:59going on in Missouri right now since in my opinion, we're the
- 28:04center of the financial universe.
- 28:06Wouldn't it be great And we have two Federal Reserve banks if
- 28:09Missouri were able to pass legal tender legislation?
- 28:13And we've got a big update. We're going to be joined right
- 28:15now by our friends. Here they are.
- 28:19Can you guys hear me? Hey there.
- 28:21We sure can. Can you hear us OK?
- 28:22Yes, we have Daniel Diaz with us and we have Pat Holland, Daniel
- 28:27Diaz with Citizens for Sound Money, Patrick Holland from the
- 28:31Missouri Freedom Initiative. They got a major update for us
- 28:34today about what's going on in Missouri.
- 28:37Guys, welcome to The Basement. And on behalf of everyone who's
- 28:40joining us, thank you for your tireless efforts, tireless
- 28:44efforts to further legal tender legislation right here in
- 28:48Missouri, what I'm calling now the center of the financial
- 28:51universe. Yeah.
- 28:52You know what? Thank you for having us on Red
- 28:54Shirt Solidarity. That's right.
- 28:57Yep. So, but I do want to say you
- 28:58live uncomfortably close to the Federal Reserve in Saint Louis.
- 29:01We're a little worried that they might, you know, try to come in
- 29:05there. You know, it's a we're we're
- 29:06just not sure we're grateful for all the data they put out,
- 29:09though the Saint Louis Fed does put out a lot of very good data
- 29:12on Fred, you know their website. Yeah, Yeah.
- 29:15So, so what's going on in Missouri guys with with our
- 29:19legal tender legislation? Well, let me start real quick
- 29:22and then we'll hand it off to Daniel.
- 29:24But we're off to the races right now where we were stalled.
- 29:28And you know what, I'm. I'm trying really hard not to
- 29:32use the, you know, four letter words here.
- 29:35We were stalled by leadership and by others.
- 29:39Chairman O'Donnell of the Banking Institutions Committee
- 29:44And of course, by the fact that Senator Eigel, you know, was
- 29:47removed from his chairmanship on the very same committee that
- 29:50passed 735, and then it was in limbo for almost two months.
- 29:54But now we're catching up for lost time.
- 29:57It's moving very quickly through the House right now.
- 29:59It's already been through the Senate.
- 30:01So special dispensation has been given of course by the Speaker
- 30:06of the House, Dean Plocker. So we're actually starting to
- 30:09move much quicker. In fact, we even have a hearing
- 30:12this morning to get it through the financial committee fiscal
- 30:17review committee. So it's actually after that,
- 30:21it's on the calendar and it just has to be plucked off the
- 30:23calendar and put on the floor. So that's where we're at.
- 30:26It's actually moving quickly and we're it last week of session is
- 30:31next week. Friday at 5:00 PM is the end of
- 30:34the Missouri regular session. So at any rate, as far as what
- 30:38we've been up to in the last couple of weeks, let Daniel
- 30:41start. Let me, I'm gonna ask you guys a
- 30:43question first, 'cause we got our viewer with us, right?
- 30:45And Ron's basement viewers are gold and silver enthusiasts.
- 30:50For those of them who are maybe new to this idea of legal tender
- 30:55legislation, and even for those who who are familiar with it.
- 30:59Why? Why should it be important to
- 31:00them? Why is this a big deal that
- 31:02Missouri passed legal tender legislation?
- 31:06You wanna take that? Go ahead.
- 31:07No, I'll let you take that. Yeah, So the problem with the
- 31:13way we see it is one, by the state making gold and silver
- 31:16legal tender, one, they're exercising their constitutional
- 31:18right. Article One, Section 10, Clause
- 31:20one of the Constitution. And secondly, it gives
- 31:24Missourians the opportunity to preserve their economic energy.
- 31:27And what do I mean by economic energy?
- 31:29So when you go to work, you're exerting energy for an economic
- 31:33wage. That wage right now is paid in
- 31:35the dollar, and the dollar isn't money.
- 31:39Why do I say that? Because money has three
- 31:41characteristics. It's a medium exchange, a unit
- 31:44of account. I mean exchange.
- 31:46Anything being made, exchange unit, account.
- 31:47You have to break it down, right?
- 31:49Half oz, quarter oz or $1.00, a $100 equal $100 bill.
- 31:53But the last part is a store value and the dollar is not a
- 31:58store value. It loses value every single
- 32:01every single second of every single day.
- 32:03But gold and silver maintain purchasing power.
- 32:06So it's better to exert your energy and put it into something
- 32:10that preserve your purchasing power and keeps up with
- 32:14inflation. And by passing this bill it
- 32:17gives the people the the confidence that one, they can
- 32:19spend their current their their money like currency, legal
- 32:24tender. And two, they can save and not
- 32:28worry about their their economic energy losing value.
- 32:32Also this bill forces the government to accept gold and
- 32:35silver for the payment of debts, taxes and fees.
- 32:38So that is that that's going to help.
- 32:42Well, hopefully the the Missouri government if they choose to
- 32:46accept gold and silver, but that's not what they want.
- 32:49So we have to explain to them that if they don't want to do
- 32:52that and be responsible for bearing the cost and verifying
- 32:55that gold and silver's legal tender.
- 32:57They can do a public private partnership with companies that
- 33:00already accept gold and silver for in their daily business.
- 33:04And then contract the state that once they receive that gold and
- 33:06silver for taxes, that company sends the Fiat or the dollar
- 33:10over to the Department of Revenue or the DMV or wherever
- 33:15you're paying your fees, taxes and so forth.
- 33:17So that gets the the the government, you know, they're
- 33:19worried about receiving gold and silver.
- 33:21They don't have any mechanism to actually store the gold and
- 33:24silver. They have to pay money for a new
- 33:26vault security. So we had to go ahead and
- 33:30explain to them another way to do that.
- 33:31They'll cut the fiscal note down and not really have to train or
- 33:35hire the San, the Sayre for the state.
- 33:38It also allows individuals to get paid in gold and silver if
- 33:41both employee and employee agree.
- 33:43It has anti confiscation law so the federal government can't
- 33:46come and confiscate without due process.
- 33:48Or if you broke break the law, there's still a process in the
- 33:50state of Missouri that they have to go through to confiscate gold
- 33:52and silver. It's the most comprehensive
- 33:55piece of legislation in the country.
- 33:57So, so Daniel, I want to emphasize something you just
- 34:00said because I think some people here, oh, legal tender
- 34:03legislation, you know, does that mean like they're going to come
- 34:05take my gold and silver? No.
- 34:07This type of legislation helps enhance your ability within your
- 34:13state to, in a lot of cases, functionally use gold and
- 34:18silver. It absolutely does not detract
- 34:22from anyone's ability to to stack silver and gold at home as
- 34:28well as a. Matter of fact Ron, the
- 34:30legislation in Missouri addresses that very issue
- 34:33directly. Anti confiscation measures or
- 34:3710th Amendment ability. You know superpower has been
- 34:40deployed in this bill. So if the federal government
- 34:44gets a wild hair and they want to start confiscation of gold
- 34:47and silver, they'd be very, very hard pressed to do so in
- 34:50Missouri with this bill. This bill very specifically
- 34:53states that the state of Missouri cannot assist the
- 34:56federal government in confiscation of gold and silver
- 34:59without due cause. So.
- 35:03So you can't do an executive order, There's no due 'cause
- 35:06there, so. Yep, so.
- 35:09Without due process, due 'cause you can't get it.
- 35:12And and that applies to Missouri politics and and political
- 35:17subdivisions too. Sheriff's offices, courts, what
- 35:19have you. So they can't confiscate without
- 35:23due process. Yeah.
- 35:24And and and I think it's also very should should be right,
- 35:28very exciting for the silver and gold stackers out there to
- 35:32realize that as this legislation continues to get passed state by
- 35:37state that the opportunity for like significant increases in
- 35:43demand for metals, which would you know could translate into
- 35:47higher prices, right that that could be the result of this as
- 35:51well. I think I read just the other
- 35:53day that Utah passed a bill that allows now the state of Utah to
- 35:57store up to 10% of the of the state's money in silver and
- 36:02gold. I mean, imagine if every state,
- 36:04imagine if half the states. Imagine if 20 states have
- 36:08legislation that allow the state government to store significant
- 36:12amounts of of the state's capital reserves and silver and
- 36:17gold. It could be.
- 36:18It could be a very good thing. OK, gotcha.
- 36:21I'll tell you what, I'm going to let him take a phone call real,
- 36:24real quick and I'll go ahead and take over.
- 36:26We're hearing from Bill Hardwick, who is actually the
- 36:29handler for the bill. Hang on one second here.
- 36:32Let me take care of that. Sorry about that.
- 36:35So Bill Hardwick is calling right now and he's getting a
- 36:39hold of Daniel and we are currently in a committee hearing
- 36:43with the bill right now in Jefferson City.
- 36:46So, yeah, I want to, I want to Yep.
- 36:50And I want to emphasize to everyone that, yeah, this is all
- 36:54happening kind of live here as we're as we're doing this live
- 36:58stream that this legislation is literally pat, am I accurate in
- 37:02saying like right now in the process of being moved through
- 37:06this legislative process? That is correct.
- 37:09It's actually going through right now through this, through
- 37:12the paces this morning. There is actually a committee
- 37:14hearing on it, another committee hearing.
- 37:17This will be the third committee hearing in the House.
- 37:20So it after this this is done then it goes on to the floor,
- 37:24I'm sorry goes on to the calendar to go on the floor.
- 37:27So we've been working this very hard, Daniel and I've been going
- 37:30up to Jeff City at least three days a week and the phone calls
- 37:34and the emails that we're making here are are pretty huge.
- 37:38I mean we're we're working this very, very hard.
- 37:40We have plenty of support with the grassroots in Missouri and
- 37:44we actually have a lot of support actually right now
- 37:46through even the house and certain people in the house that
- 37:50are trying to get this through. So we're very fortunate.
- 37:52What? What about the viewer?
- 37:54Who's with us right now? Is there anything they can do to
- 37:57help this cause in the in the state of Missouri?
- 38:01Absolutely. What we recommend people do is
- 38:04first of all call your Rep because it's now in the balls in
- 38:08their court. It's in the Missouri house.
- 38:11So call your Missouri representative.
- 38:13We're talking about state representation here not federal.
- 38:16And just give them a call and and actually tell them you want
- 38:19this bill, you know to go through the system to support
- 38:23the bill. Please vote yes on the bill and
- 38:26but also not just to tell them you like the bill and you want
- 38:29to see, you know, a yes vote from your representative.
- 38:32You need to actually say why you want this bill to go through.
- 38:34This is actually really important.
- 38:36So tell them, well, you want another option to the dollar.
- 38:40You know, you want businesses to feel comfortable transacting in
- 38:43gold and silver in the states. We got to get rid of capital
- 38:45gains taxes. You know, go ahead and tell them
- 38:48this stuff. This is how you get it done.
- 38:50This is good old fashioned shoe leather, you know, phone call
- 38:53and e-mail work. Daniel and I are spending a lot
- 38:57of time up in Jeff City. We're doing a lot of it on the
- 38:59inside, but all the phone calls and emails coming from the
- 39:02outside are definitely making a difference.
- 39:05I want to say thank you to anyone who is watching Ron's
- 39:08basement right now that have participated in this process in
- 39:11Missouri. We're very, very, that's a very
- 39:14popular bill and it's because of all of you, it's a popular bill.
- 39:18So I want to thank all of you who have made a trip to
- 39:21Jefferson City. And I have to say again, Ron,
- 39:23I've met all kinds of great people that came up to Knock in
- 39:26shock that literally were fans of Ron's basement.
- 39:29I met him for the first time at Knock in Shock.
- 39:31So I just want to give a shout out to anyone from Ron's
- 39:35basement that has joined us up at the Capitol.
- 39:38You guys are tops. Thank you very much.
- 39:40And and as and as we're talking to our viewer, Pat, I want to
- 39:44point out that the silver and gold legal tender legislation as
- 39:49you talked about, right, it gives people an option outside
- 39:53of the US dollar. But the cool thing about what's
- 39:57going on with this, right, this is, this is on a state by state,
- 40:01by state level, Utah, Texas, Florida, all, you know, all
- 40:04going on everywhere. It's not a big, big money, big
- 40:10corporate initiative. It's a grassroots initiative,
- 40:13right? It's people.
- 40:15It's actual people like the people that are joining us right
- 40:18now making a difference and standing up for what is you
- 40:23mentioned earlier or Daniel mentioned earlier what's in the
- 40:26constitution, silver and gold are, are are legal tender and
- 40:30it's giving people the right or the opportunity to kind of
- 40:33reclaim that right and protect themselves.
- 40:36Oh, and by the way, on a side note, the rest of the world is
- 40:41kind of doing that same thing right now as well, you know,
- 40:43except with the exception of the US federal government, You know,
- 40:47we have the world and obviously the world central banks, you
- 40:49know, buying and hoarding gold like never before.
- 40:53This is a big deal and it's a big movement.
- 40:56OK, we got Daniel back, so he may have a fresh update for us.
- 40:59Yeah, so. I'm sorry.
- 41:02Go ahead, Daniel. Test 1-2.
- 41:03There we go. So I just got off the phone with
- 41:06Representative Hardwick and he gave me an update.
- 41:08He said that the the bill is going to get through fiscal
- 41:11review sometime today and the fiscal note doesn't really
- 41:15matter. He's saying that's it's already
- 41:17in fiscal review, but they are going to update it at some point
- 41:19before it hits the House floor. And he's saying he, he just got
- 41:22out of a meeting with Speaker Plocker's office.
- 41:24He called me right after that and he said it's going to get to
- 41:28the House floor and it it doesn't, it's going to come up
- 41:31whether either in the early, mid or end.
- 41:34He prefers it to be at the end of session because apparently
- 41:37it's just as bills get closer to the end, people are less likely
- 41:41to add amendments. And we, we don't want any
- 41:43amendments. But, you know, it sounds like
- 41:45the floor leader is going to bring it up.
- 41:47They're working well. And Speaker Plucker, I want to
- 41:49thank you for keeping your word, pushing this through.
- 41:52I mean it has rocketed through the House.
- 41:54It came out of the Senate and like every other day it's going
- 41:57through a committee. And he is, he kept his word.
- 42:00He he told me to my face that this is a top priority for him
- 42:03this year and the speaker thank you so much for getting gold and
- 42:07silver and he's making sure it gets to the House floor.
- 42:10Next is once it gets passed through the House next week,
- 42:13which it will come up on the House floor, we were told.
- 42:18Daniel, excuse me, does that mean it'll be voted on next week
- 42:21for those of us who aren't? So it will be.
- 42:23It's already passed in the Senate.
- 42:25Well, hang on, hang on. To be more specific, I just got
- 42:27to say this cause of what happened last year, we're not
- 42:30being promised to vote by anybody, but we are being
- 42:33promised floor time Now. Last year we got to the floor
- 42:36but they never had a vote. OK.
- 42:38So it and that's because they were using silver and gold as
- 42:41leverage against the Senate with the sports betting bill.
- 42:45OK. Right.
- 42:45And also the the issue is with amendments.
- 42:50If any amendments are added to the bill, that's it, it's dead
- 42:53because it has to go back to the Senate and we don't have time.
- 42:56So Representative Hardwick's preference is that it comes out
- 42:59later in the week. That way there's less, there's a
- 43:01less likelihood. That's another reason why we
- 43:03have people flying into Missouri, we have some gold CEOs
- 43:08ahead of a think tank for sound money coming in.
- 43:10So that when we're whipping votes, we can find out who is
- 43:13against the bill, who is for the bill and who wants to add an
- 43:16amendment and try to convince the the people who are against
- 43:19the bill or want to add an amendment.
- 43:21Why? The bill's perfect the way that
- 43:24it is that that we don't want any amendments.
- 43:26And the great thing is in the title it says it's solely for
- 43:29the the the gold and silver, which limits the capability of
- 43:33adding anything unrelated to gold and silver and and without
- 43:37actually changing the title, which we don't want to do.
- 43:40So once it gets out onto the floor, if it passes the floor
- 43:45without any amendments, then it goes to the governor's desk for
- 43:47signing and that's a different issue we'll we'll have to,
- 43:51Representative Hardwick said. We'll discuss that later on in
- 43:53person. The strategy with the governor,
- 43:56but we heard a rumor that he may veto it for reasons unknown.
- 44:00I've tried to set up a meeting with the governor with with the
- 44:03the gold and silver companies mentioned that we would love to
- 44:07have him on our TV show If this bill gets through.
- 44:11It's going to our TV show is called the sound money movement,
- 44:14a foundation of freedom. It's going to be on the Science
- 44:16Channel of Discovery Networks. It's going to air at Q4 of this
- 44:20year and Q2 of next year at the split season 12 episodes.
- 44:24So we'll see what happens. We'll see if we can get with the
- 44:26governor and explain the bill and see what is some of his
- 44:29concerns are concerning SB-735, but maybe we we can figure
- 44:34something out before it gets to Zask.
- 44:36And you know we we get a favorable signing of the bill
- 44:41and making Missouri the top state for sound money
- 44:44legislation in the country. And I want to give a quick shout
- 44:47out, Ron to the bill sponsors and handlers.
- 44:51I want to give a shout out to Senator Bill Eigel.
- 44:53Everyone remember his name. He's the one who started this
- 44:57whole thing back in 20 actually 2022.
- 45:01And of course Representative Hardwick, who Daniel just got
- 45:05off the phone with. These guys have been working
- 45:07like heck to get this bill done. So there you know I.
- 45:11Think Hardwick. I think Hardwick has actually
- 45:13been in my basement, if I remember.
- 45:16I mean not just not just through the Internet, but in person.
- 45:20We did so great guy. And yes, sorry I interrupted you
- 45:24there. And Representative Hardwick, he
- 45:27is taking. I mean he is fighting hard for
- 45:30those. He is dedicating hours upon
- 45:32hours of time to get this bill through.
- 45:35And he's like, I'm dodging and taking punches.
- 45:37I'm doing this. I'm like, yeah, I I know you're
- 45:39you're thank you so much, Representative Hardwick for all
- 45:41the hard work you're doing to get gold and silver.
- 45:43And you know what he told me after he said that he's like we
- 45:45need this for Missouri. We need this for the people.
- 45:48I'm like, absolutely. And This is why Representative
- 45:50Hardwick is fighting so hard to get this through the House.
- 45:53And he's he's making it happen without Senator Eigold pushing
- 45:57hard on the Senate side without Representative Hardwick, which I
- 46:00find it's interesting. They're both named bills.
- 46:02I should look for bills to run bills, but but yeah, no, they're
- 46:08doing a phenomenal job and if it wasn't for how hard they both
- 46:11work to get it through the Senate and now the House, you
- 46:14know we wouldn't be here. I mean we and the work Patrick
- 46:17did in Ron Calzone and everybody from last year for SP100I mean
- 46:22they laid the ground works for so that I can come in and help
- 46:25and like add a little bit of fuel to the fire to get this
- 46:28through so. Yeah, yeah.
- 46:30So, so to be clear for our viewers, it's it's already made
- 46:33its way through the Senate. The last, well, one of the last
- 46:36hurdles now will be the House. And while we could see some
- 46:40serious progress in that regard next week, correct?
- 46:44Yes, indeed. The fireworks are going off next
- 46:47week, and we'll be right in the thick of it.
- 46:48By the way, there's no way Daniel and I would be sitting on
- 46:52the sidelines watching this from a couch.
- 46:55We're going to be at the Capitol the entire week.
- 46:57We're getting a hotel up there. We will not leave the Capitol.
- 47:01It's the last week to get things done.
- 47:03We're going to do what what it what it takes as far as
- 47:05grassroots go to get this moving and to find and identify any
- 47:09bottlenecks, identify them as early as possible and deal with
- 47:11them. And Ron, we would absolutely
- 47:14love to give live reports on your live stream next week
- 47:17whenever you have some time. We'll be up there in the thick
- 47:20of it, working it, and we can give you play by play exactly
- 47:24what's going on at the Capitol then we'd be real honored to do
- 47:26that on. Well, I know I, I can speak on
- 47:28behalf of our viewer. We are rooting for you guys
- 47:32because it's a big, big deal for those of us who are silver and
- 47:36gold enthusiasts, right that know the value of money and and
- 47:39what you guys are doing is a big deal.
- 47:41So, so we say thank you next week you've got some heavy
- 47:44hitters coming into town. Can you just briefly tell us
- 47:47who's, who's going to be coming in and and helping to support
- 47:51this legislation? Yeah.
- 47:53So we have Nathan Lewis from New World Economic Foundation.
- 47:57They are a solely a sound money think tank.
- 48:00We also have Mark Hilton, the CEO of Alpine Gold coming in.
- 48:05We have Brian Thor who is the COO of Coral Gold, which is an
- 48:11electronic gold and silver company.
- 48:13And we were going to have somebody from Kinesis in, but
- 48:16there's some personal matters that the USA President couldn't
- 48:20make and another representative from the Kinesis.
- 48:22So I we're not going to have anybody from Kinesis coming in,
- 48:25but I'm still trying to see if I can get some other people.
- 48:28I've got some phone calls out to other companies.
- 48:30I'm waiting to hear back from Lode.
- 48:32Lode was supposed to meet today with their board and see if they
- 48:34can send somebody lode us another gold and silver
- 48:37electronic company. And I have another a few phone
- 48:40calls out there with Clint Pei, another electronic gold and
- 48:43silver company. So, and then the reason I keep
- 48:45saying electronic gold and silver is because the bill
- 48:47doesn't just make physical gold and silver legal tender, also
- 48:51makes electronic currency that represents real gold and silver
- 48:54in a depository account legal tender as well.
- 48:59So. OK, OK And if people want to
- 49:01learn more about the one and only Mr. Pat Holland, they can
- 49:04go to mofree.org, correct. And Daniel Diaz, who's here in
- 49:11Missouri from Florida, I believe is with Citizens for Sound
- 49:16Money. They can go to the website
- 49:19Citizens the number 4 Sound Money and it is a
- 49:23not-for-profit. So if they wanna help donate to
- 49:26the cause, they can do that at the website, correct?
- 49:30Absolutely. I'd like to give a shout out to
- 49:32All Right Jer saying bring it to Texas next.
- 49:35Hey, Texas has got stuff going on.
- 49:38They have the economic war room down there with Mike Carter and
- 49:42of course we'll be working with Mike Carter to help bring it to
- 49:45Texas next. Hey, all these basement dwellers
- 49:48have given us our 200 thumbs up. Do you guys mind?
- 49:51Hold on. Put me back on the time for the
- 49:54cowbell. So hold your ears.
- 49:55You're ready. Daniel, I don't want to hurt
- 49:57your little eardrum. For the thumbs up, everybody, we
- 50:02appreciate it. You're working hard for those,
- 50:05for those cowbell rings. Yeah, yeah.
- 50:07All right, guys. Good luck.
- 50:09Thank you. Anything I missed?
- 50:11Anything we need to talk about before we we sign off here?
- 50:14No, other than I look forward to giving live reports.
- 50:18Call to action. Oh, call to action.
- 50:20Well, actually we covered that way you were talking about.
- 50:22OK. Never mind, we have to call to
- 50:24action. So the other call to action that
- 50:26I didn't hit on was the possibility that the governor
- 50:29that Daniel mentioned, the governor may veto this bill.
- 50:32We've heard a rumor there's it's not substantiated.
- 50:35It's not like we have an evil governor that you know is
- 50:37sitting back going good and everything is proceeding his eye
- 50:41a full seat. It's not like that.
- 50:43We just don't know and we're trying to get an audience with
- 50:47the governor next week with all the folks that Daniel's bringing
- 50:50into the state. But if you so choose and would
- 50:53like to call the governor's office and voice your support
- 50:56for this bill and it if it gets across the finish line, he would
- 50:59sign it, you could call the governor at 573-751-3222.
- 51:08Once again, Governor Mike Parson, his number is
- 51:11573-751-3222. All right.
- 51:18Thank you, guys. I'll look forward to talking to
- 51:20you next week. Good luck.
- 51:22OK. And again, on behalf of
- 51:24everyone, I appreciate you joining us this morning and all
- 51:27the hard work and we'll we'll see you next week.
- 51:31All right. God bless all the basement
- 51:33dwellers. You guys are awesome.
- 51:34Thank you so much. Thank you, guys.
- 51:37OK. All right, guys, there's our
- 51:40update. This is a big deal to you as a
- 51:42silver and gold investor, right? Yeah, Missouri, right.
- 51:45I joke around the financial center of the universe, but we
- 51:48are the center of the country and we do have two Federal
- 51:50Reserve banks. Wouldn't it be absolutely
- 51:54awesome if Missouri could be one of these initial states?
- 51:59Now this is growing and growing, but one of the initial states
- 52:02that could have legal tender legislation.
- 52:05Hey, I want to pull up what I think is a very interesting
- 52:10chart. Let's talk about the gold and
- 52:13silver mining companies. Right now this my friends, for
- 52:18anyone who invests in gold and silver is should be of extreme
- 52:24interest. OK.
- 52:25This shows gold and gold miners as a percentage of total global
- 52:31assets. Make sure we've got this on
- 52:33there for you. There you go.
- 52:35Wow, wow, wow, wow. This shows us not only for the
- 52:39gold mining and and and precious metal stocks, how much of A
- 52:45runway that we have in front of us.
- 52:48Exciting times in front of us. Look, we talked earlier about
- 52:52how the world everywhere, right? Korea, Germany, Vietnam, We have
- 52:58articles we looked at, but it's not just there.
- 53:00It's happening everywhere. Japan, all through Europe,
- 53:03people are silver and gold. Crazy right now even in the
- 53:07United States of America, at Costco, few of your neighbors
- 53:11may have been, may have turned into stackers, but none the less
- 53:14here in 2024, we're still at 1%. Look at that.
- 53:20Gold. OK.
- 53:21Physical gold and gold miners as a percentage of total global
- 53:26assets in 1981 it was 26%. I mean this is from Crescott
- 53:32Capital and Robbie, Robbie Costa.
- 53:35OK and he says it's from Bloomberg and Mackenzie and
- 53:38Company. If this is accurate, and I'm
- 53:41not, I'm, I'm, I'm by in no means saying it's not, but that
- 53:45would mean that to get back to 1981 levels that we would need
- 53:5126. The time amount of money in gold
- 53:54and silver, I don't know crazy. So the opportunity for the
- 53:58metals and the mining stocks is really, really astounding.
- 54:03Hey, I did an interview Speaking of gold mining stocks, I did an
- 54:06interview that I posted yesterday with Brian
- 54:10Slussarchuk, the CEO of Great Pacific Mining.
- 54:13You might want to check that one out.
- 54:15It was one of the big, big stories last year, right At the
- 54:18end of the year, they hit an unbelievable gold drill hole in
- 54:23Australia, right next door to a gold mine that you probably have
- 54:27heard of before, the Fosterville mine.
- 54:29Like a legendary gold mine in Australia.
- 54:34Rex Mutton, right, Who doesn't like that name?
- 54:37This guy Rex Mutton, who's the head of exploration for Great
- 54:40Pacific, He actually grew up in that area, lives in that area
- 54:44and he hit an unbelievable gold drill hole for Great Pacific in
- 54:50Australia. But they've also expanded into
- 54:53Papua New Guinea, which is becoming a like top tier mining
- 54:58country, top tier mining district.
- 55:01The CEO, Brian Slussarchuk actually started another
- 55:05company, K 92 Mining that has done phenomenally well.
- 55:09This was like 10 years ago. The company grew to like 1400
- 55:13employees. He's still involved with the
- 55:16company, but he knows that area. So with Great Pacific, now
- 55:20they've acquired a bunch of land in Papua New Guinea as well and
- 55:24they're going to be doing a ton of drilling there this year
- 55:27also. Look, mining stocks are risky,
- 55:29exploration stocks are risky. But this one is a really good
- 55:34story in my perspective and showing some great results.
- 55:38We're going to get more drill results from around did this
- 55:42Australian the comet hole it was called.
- 55:45It was a bonanza grade. It was one of the best gold
- 55:47drill holes of 2023. There's going to be more drill
- 55:50holes coming out. There's no guarantees.
- 55:52Mining stocks are risky but Great Pacific Brian Slewsarchuk
- 55:57has a history of delivering right again right.
- 56:02I'm not giving financial advice. I'm just pointing out to you
- 56:06that it's a fascinating company, a fascinating potential
- 56:09opportunity. And you can check out the the
- 56:11video interview I did with him on the channel.
- 56:13We know one thing for sure, basement dwellers, things are
- 56:18changing not only in the world in general, but also within the
- 56:23silver and gold sector. Like we've never experienced,
- 56:27right? I mean, I've been doing this.
- 56:29I've been following silver and gold for like 20 years, OK.
- 56:33And and and very, very closely for the last almost three years
- 56:38since I started the channel. We've not been in an environment
- 56:42like this, right? We had a little run up after the
- 56:44C19 crisis, but we've not had, we've never, we've never really
- 56:49together here in the basement gone through a bull market in
- 56:53the precious metals and we're heading into into some very
- 56:57exciting times. Look, there's no guarantee, but
- 57:01a lot of people are saying we are now to almost definitively
- 57:04in the beginning stages of what could be a bull market, a market
- 57:08where we see continued higher prices for the precious metals.
- 57:13And don't forget these mining stocks have a long, long way to
- 57:18go to catch up. Thanks for being here.
- 57:20Thanks for being part of Ron's basement.
- 57:22Please support our sponsorspinbex@pinbex.com first,
- 57:27Mining Gold and Fortuna Silver, and I'll look forward to seeing
- 57:31you again soon.
