- 0:02Speaker 1: Sunday in week three is wrapping up.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Welcome to the Favorites.
- 0:13Speaker 1: I am your host, Brandon Kravitz, joined by my fellow
- 0:15Speaker 1: capadres Kendrew Middleton, and the Prime Minister himself, Stucky is
- 0:20Speaker 1: with us. We have a lot to discuss. The Colts
- 0:22Speaker 1: look legit, the Packers. They're drive to the super Bowl,
- 0:26Speaker 1: perhaps as a flat tire after losing to the Cleveland
- 0:29Speaker 1: Browns and the Rams plus three. My god, bless your heart,
- 0:34Speaker 1: you poor poor soul. If you were sitting on that
- 0:37Speaker 1: ticket me, uh yeah, Stucky, let's start right there, good lord,
- 0:42Speaker 1: I mean that was painful.
- 0:44Speaker 2: They were driving to win the game.
- 0:46Speaker 1: And even if they missed the kick, if you were
- 0:48Speaker 1: sitting on the plus three, it would have sucked for
- 0:49Speaker 1: our three musketeers parlay, which once again got ripped to
- 0:52Speaker 1: shreds because we took the money line and we had
- 0:55Speaker 1: a bear, we had a Rams win.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Sitting right there.
- 0:58Speaker 1: They were up twenty six to seven at one point
- 1:00Speaker 1: in this game before getting out scored by twenty six
- 1:03Speaker 1: in the second half. Walk me through your feelings in
- 1:06Speaker 1: the moment as they don't just miss the kick, it's blocked,
- 1:09Speaker 1: and then Jordan Davis unnecessarily runs it all the way
- 1:12Speaker 1: down the field and scores a touchdown.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Yeah, of course, the ball is like sitting perfectly right
- 1:17Speaker 3: there and he takes it all the way back. I mean, yeah,
- 1:22Speaker 3: fucking sucked. There's no two words about. It's a gutpoint,
- 1:26Speaker 3: you know. I mean, like, you don't even think about
- 1:27Speaker 3: that happening. And I've been betting for twenty years. I've
- 1:30Speaker 3: had countless bad beats just like that. I had Washington
- 1:34Speaker 3: plus seven against the Eagles like seven years ago, when
- 1:39Speaker 3: Carson Wentz was the quarterback for the Eagles and Washington
- 1:43Speaker 3: stepped out of bounds with one second to go at midfield,
- 1:45Speaker 3: and then the next play they were down four to
- 1:47Speaker 3: the next play, they fumble it gets bounces right new
- 1:50Speaker 3: Eagles hands, and he runs it fifty yards for a
- 1:53Speaker 3: touchdown and they win by ten or eleven. So I've
- 1:57Speaker 3: seen it all. It was awful. Not only were they up,
- 2:01Speaker 3: they were up twenty six to seven. They had they
- 2:05Speaker 3: had two field goals blocked in the fourth quarter. When
- 2:08Speaker 3: you have, what is this a high school team? Two
- 2:10Speaker 3: field goals blocked, by the way, the last one there
- 2:12Speaker 3: was leverage on it. Broncos fan should be pissed and
- 2:15Speaker 3: after and they were. They were covering for forty minutes
- 2:19Speaker 3: and nine seconds, however long it took uh Davis to
- 2:23Speaker 3: they would cover the entire game and then plus whatever
- 2:25Speaker 3: seconds it took for Davis to run. I mean, will
- 2:29Speaker 3: probably be the worst beat of the NFL year. I
- 2:31Speaker 3: gotta have one a week. Apparently it was awful. But
- 2:34Speaker 3: I will say the one thing I'm most mad about
- 2:37Speaker 3: is the NFL. One of the reasons I love I
- 2:40Speaker 3: like this game is I said, there's gonna be a
- 2:41Speaker 3: touch push in this game where the Eagles false start
- 2:44Speaker 3: as they do every time, and they're gonna call it
- 2:45Speaker 3: because they came out and they said, we're gonna we're
- 2:48Speaker 3: gonna officiate it closer. They went on the whole You
- 2:51Speaker 3: could the whole world could see it. They went off
- 2:54Speaker 3: false started. It was one of the clearest ones that's
- 2:55Speaker 3: ever happened. On a fourth and one would have been
- 2:57Speaker 3: a field goal. Nope, they don't call it. And then
- 3:00Speaker 3: the Eagles get a touch on that was four f
- 3:01Speaker 3: three points literally four three points that they gave the Eagles,
- 3:03Speaker 3: which obviously ended up mattering. But they had twenty two
- 3:05Speaker 3: yard thirty three yards at the half and you're down
- 3:08Speaker 3: twenty six to seven and there one there. One touchdown
- 3:10Speaker 3: came from a gift is gift wrap on a push
- 3:13Speaker 3: push and then the the interception before then absolutely outrageous
- 3:17Speaker 3: and the Rams at least they called it on the Saints.
- 3:20Speaker 3: The poor old Saints get the push pushed false star
- 3:22Speaker 3: on them and they're down thirty.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Good job should have been up by like thirty in
- 3:25Speaker 1: the first half. They kept settling for field goals and
- 3:28Speaker 1: they still had that big lead. This from our production staff.
- 3:32Speaker 1: The Rams led by nineteen points, were plus three and
- 3:35Speaker 1: a half entering the game. Teams that have led by
- 3:37Speaker 1: nineteen or more is three and a half point dogs
- 3:39Speaker 1: one eighty five and five against the spread the last
- 3:42Speaker 1: twenty years entering today one eighty five and five and
- 3:46Speaker 1: uh and now we have we've added another l to
- 3:49Speaker 1: that list. Ken, it was awful your your thoughts on
- 3:52Speaker 1: the on the situation.
- 3:54Speaker 4: I just was more shocked. I just haven't seen I
- 3:58Speaker 4: agree with Stucky's point that I don't think I've we're
- 4:00Speaker 4: seeing anything like that outside of a high school game.
- 4:02Speaker 4: I kind of had checked out for a minute because
- 4:04Speaker 4: I was like, Okay, Wow, the Rams really moving up
- 4:07Speaker 4: on my list of you know teams that I'm really
- 4:10Speaker 4: in on right now. And I guess I should never
- 4:12Speaker 4: count the Eagles out. Never count the Eagles out. They're
- 4:14Speaker 4: super Bowl champions, they deserve the respect. But AJ Brown's
- 4:17Speaker 4: coming out game for the season happened today, just chaos.
- 4:21Speaker 4: I guess also too, Like, while I did kind of
- 4:24Speaker 4: move the Rams up, I still think that they deserve
- 4:26Speaker 4: their flowers for how they played. They should not have
- 4:29Speaker 4: let them come back in the second half the way
- 4:30Speaker 4: that they did. But also, you can't put up zero
- 4:32Speaker 4: points in a fourth quarter against a Super Bowl champion
- 4:35Speaker 4: and expect to walk out of there with a win
- 4:37Speaker 4: no matter how many points you're up by.
- 4:39Speaker 3: I don't need to win. I just needed to cover
- 4:42Speaker 3: that was Yeah, it was It's sung, but whatever. You
- 4:46Speaker 3: gotta have a short term memory betting the NFL. Those
- 4:48Speaker 3: are gonna happen. It was nice to having that happen
- 4:51Speaker 3: after the Kelsey drop the week before against the Eagles.
- 4:53Speaker 3: But it is what it is. There's miss there's miss kicks.
- 4:58Speaker 3: By the way, I'm now banned it push. I was like, not,
- 5:01Speaker 3: I was team, don't ban plays. I'm not if you're
- 5:03Speaker 3: not gonna call if you're not gonna I mean, if
- 5:05Speaker 3: you're if you say you're gonna officiate it closely, and
- 5:07Speaker 3: then the next week the very next push push you
- 5:09Speaker 3: see for this team, they fall start and you don't
- 5:12Speaker 3: call it ban it. It's just it's outrageous. There's no
- 5:15Speaker 3: way to stop it if the guards are shooting out
- 5:17Speaker 3: like that. But or you could just officiate it, right
- 5:21Speaker 3: but if if they can, if they're too incompetent, then
- 5:22Speaker 3: just ban it.
- 5:23Speaker 4: But the blockfoil hat in the drawer.
- 5:27Speaker 3: No, I'm just saying, if they can't officiate it, they
- 5:29Speaker 3: should have a breath hanging from a cord or something
- 5:31Speaker 3: up top. That's like, if they that they can't figure
- 5:34Speaker 3: that out, then whatever, then just then just ban it.
- 5:37Speaker 3: But I don't know what was with all the field
- 5:38Speaker 3: goal blocks today. You had the Browns coming back against
- 5:43Speaker 3: the Packers, the Jets uh get a return on a
- 5:48Speaker 3: block a field goal, and then the Tampa Bay Locks
- 5:52Speaker 3: obviously go down the field and score to win another
- 5:55Speaker 3: game by two. But that was the field goals We're
- 5:58Speaker 3: crazy today? And then we just two more game winners
- 6:01Speaker 3: at the at the bell crazy day of field goals.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Yeah, we had dick Er the kicker.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I was on the on the Broncos plus two and
- 6:09Speaker 1: a half, lost by half a point. Because of that,
- 6:12Speaker 1: Mac Jones gets a walk off. They beat the Arizona
- 6:15Speaker 1: Cardinals that was down to essentially a pick them there
- 6:18Speaker 1: by kickoff between those two. How about these fraudulent Falcons,
- 6:22Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Can we talk about them for a second.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I'm starting to make my list of teams. There's so
- 6:28Speaker 1: much to bet on every single week. I like to
- 6:30Speaker 1: try and shrink my board. I did a horrible job
- 6:32Speaker 1: of that today.
- 6:33Speaker 2: But it's still early.
- 6:34Speaker 1: We're in the first month of the season, so I'm
- 6:36Speaker 1: not going to be too hard on myself for having
- 6:38Speaker 1: way too many bets in the Action app. But as
- 6:41Speaker 1: we start to progress, there are certain teams that are
- 6:43Speaker 1: just hands off for me. The Atlanta Falcons are going
- 6:46Speaker 1: to start to enter into that range. And I was
- 6:48Speaker 1: not on this game at all, but Pennix is ass
- 6:52Speaker 1: I think, oh my god, and the Carolina Panthers had
- 6:56Speaker 1: two hundred and twenty four yards of offense.
- 6:58Speaker 2: They didn't even do anything.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Sad Cats one hundred yards and lost by and lost
- 7:05Speaker 3: thirty nothing. Uh yeah, ridiculous. But I wouldn't say they're ass.
- 7:10Speaker 3: I still I still like the fat It's one week.
- 7:12Speaker 4: You can't over react to shut out by the fucking
- 7:15Speaker 4: Panthers is crazy, big dog, They're on the no backboard.
- 7:20Speaker 4: You cannot get shut out by the motherfucking Panthers. Anybody
- 7:26Speaker 4: to respect you.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Teams off a shutout, By the way, I always like
- 7:29Speaker 3: the best teams off a shut I mean, look, last
- 7:30Speaker 3: week they dominated the Vikings. Everyone's like, all the Vikings
- 7:33Speaker 3: are terrible, and then the Vikings win forty eight. This
- 7:35Speaker 3: is just the NFL. There's just weeks that teams are
- 7:37Speaker 3: gonna look like this. Are the Packers now asked the
- 7:39Speaker 3: Browns are good? Now? This is just this is just
- 7:41Speaker 3: what happens in the NFL. The Packers need to get
- 7:44Speaker 3: their offensive line healthy. By the way, I think Tom
- 7:45Speaker 3: played one snap and then I think Banks went out
- 7:50Speaker 3: and they they're the Browns defensive line for a third
- 7:54Speaker 3: straight week, completely dominated the game anything.
- 7:59Speaker 1: And that's the thing with the Browns. You know, I
- 8:02Speaker 1: know you were on Cleveland. Good for you. I sat
- 8:04Speaker 1: that game out, but Cleveland was clearly the right side. Mean,
- 8:07Speaker 1: not only did they cover, they won the damn game,
- 8:09Speaker 1: but they have an elite unit. They have one of
- 8:11Speaker 1: the best defensive lines in football right now. They're the
- 8:13Speaker 1: most dominant defensive line in the NFL. They would have
- 8:16Speaker 1: won that game by double digits if their offense had
- 8:19Speaker 1: any sort of a pulse.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Those are the kind of teams.
- 8:21Speaker 1: That I can back bad teams, but I can't back
- 8:24Speaker 1: bad teams that that have quarterback play that's gonna hold
- 8:28Speaker 1: them back and don't have enough identifiable qualities that I
- 8:32Speaker 1: feel like I can make money off of you. And
- 8:35Speaker 1: that's where that's where Atlanta falls a little short for me.
- 8:37Speaker 1: You give up thirty to the Carolina Panthers and your
- 8:40Speaker 1: Michael Pennix looks terrible. He can't move, he's not accurate,
- 8:45Speaker 1: he's throwing pick sixes. That's the kind of guy that
- 8:48Speaker 1: I'm I'm just just cross him off my list.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Throw the Raiders on there.
- 8:52Speaker 3: You're gonna cross off every team by the end of
- 8:54Speaker 3: the year. If you do this at.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Six, well, I can can I at least put them
- 8:58Speaker 2: in time out? You know?
- 9:00Speaker 4: Yeah? You can definitely put teams in bet jail. Bet
- 9:02Speaker 4: jail is a real joke.
- 9:04Speaker 3: I'll be betting them next week against Washington at home.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Catching I don't know three plus the Yeah, like it
- 9:14Speaker 3: was just a bad game, bad divisional game. They came out,
- 9:16Speaker 3: they were in a daze, like games like this just happened.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Speaking of a date, there were some weird games today.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Your thoughts on the Jags kinda? The Jags game was
- 9:27Speaker 3: super bizarre.
- 9:28Speaker 4: The Jags game was really weird. I don't even know
- 9:33Speaker 4: how to feel about this team. The Drops are beyond
- 9:35Speaker 4: out of control. I was about to lose my shit
- 9:38Speaker 4: about BTJ until he had that big catch in the
- 9:41Speaker 4: fourth quarter. I don't know how to feel about this team.
- 9:44Speaker 4: The defense is incredible. I really like the defense. Josh
- 9:48Speaker 4: I hate calling him Josh heines Allen because it just
- 9:50Speaker 4: feels yucky, but I guess he's Josh heines Allen now.
- 9:54Speaker 4: He was lights out today. I just the offense really
- 9:58Speaker 4: concerns me. The Drops are getting out of control. Finally,
- 10:02Speaker 4: finally a win against the Texans at home whatever, I'll
- 10:05Speaker 4: take it. Disgusting game. I'm not happy about it, but
- 10:09Speaker 4: a wins a win, whatever. Tomorrow's victory Monday. The offense
- 10:13Speaker 4: needs to get their shit together. I can't. I can't
- 10:15Speaker 4: live like this week to week. It's going to give
- 10:16Speaker 4: me a heart attack.
- 10:18Speaker 2: What are they doing with Travis Hunter. I think he's.
- 10:21Speaker 4: Sad, so I kind of freaked out when Diana Rossini
- 10:26Speaker 4: was like talking shit about him this week on the internet.
- 10:28Speaker 4: But I just don't think that he's good. He can't
- 10:30Speaker 4: play both ways. I think that you should just stick
- 10:33Speaker 4: to defense and call it a day. Like there. I
- 10:36Speaker 4: think that they're expecting too much out of him. Obviously,
- 10:38Speaker 4: he's a new dad, probably exhausted. Whatever, stick to defense.
- 10:42Speaker 4: I wanted them, no, it's a boy. I wanted them
- 10:49Speaker 4: to take armand Membu trade back, take Membo. I hated
- 10:51Speaker 4: that they traded up, gave up the picks that they did. Whatever,
- 10:54Speaker 4: he's exciting, he's a cool kid. Whatever. Didn't like the pick.
- 10:58Speaker 4: I just I think he's doing too much and it's
- 11:00Speaker 4: stressing him out.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Thirty seven snaps on all offense, forty three on defense.
- 11:04Speaker 2: He had one catch in this match.
- 11:07Speaker 1: I think that they're making a their number the number
- 11:10Speaker 1: two overall pick Okay at wide receiver and Okay at dB,
- 11:13Speaker 1: and he's.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Having a mid off for both sides of the ball.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Hick a lane, stay there. This is why people don't
- 11:19Speaker 4: do this in the NFL. I don't care how athletic
- 11:21Speaker 4: you are, you have a ceiling at one position. Just
- 11:25Speaker 4: get over it. Give it up. This isn't college football. Please,
- 11:28Speaker 4: for the love of God, line up on defense and
- 11:31Speaker 4: call it a day.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Stucky. Why is why are the Texans broken offensively?
- 11:35Speaker 3: They can't score their offensive line stakes again, they didn't
- 11:40Speaker 3: address it. Their offensive coordinator was supposed to be better,
- 11:42Speaker 3: but they're not doing anything really new schematically to try
- 11:47Speaker 3: and compensate for some of their efficiency. So it's it's
- 11:49Speaker 3: a mess. Uh there. I can't see them making the
- 11:53Speaker 3: playoffs with this with his roster. The offense is just
- 11:56Speaker 3: too broken and the division is better overall.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Old AFC baby Jacks.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Jaggs, I like the Jags do, have to figure out
- 12:05Speaker 3: their offense like the drops, the random they tried to
- 12:09Speaker 3: jag that game, the.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Bad they were jagging off. They were jagging the bad
- 12:16Speaker 4: Lawrence pick.
- 12:16Speaker 3: That happens way too often. But the defense has significantly improved.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Just schematically, they're not It wasn't like last year, and
- 12:23Speaker 3: they're just running mand A Man with a group that
- 12:25Speaker 3: can't play Manda Man. They're also getting some overdue positive
- 12:28Speaker 3: regression in the turnover department. They got they had like
- 12:31Speaker 3: five six interceptions all of last year. They have six
- 12:33Speaker 3: already this year. Uh, so yeah, they're they're and part
- 12:38Speaker 3: of that is because it's just a better called defense schematically,
- 12:41Speaker 3: So yeah, they're doing some nice things. The Colts obviously
- 12:44Speaker 3: look really good. But the Titans are just a disaster.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Happen They the cod like they I'll give them a
- 12:54Speaker 3: pass and that the roster was decimated by injuries today,
- 12:58Speaker 3: so they and they ended up wearing like no sweat.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Sweat just got put on ir crushes. They're rundy, like
- 13:02Speaker 3: they give up, like they're rundy with with him without him,
- 13:05Speaker 3: as massive dead injuries in the secondary, they were missing
- 13:07Speaker 3: their oh it's like right side of the offensive line.
- 13:09Speaker 3: But at least coach competently Callahan's the worst coach in
- 13:11Speaker 3: the NFL, Like it's not even close. Uh this guy
- 13:16Speaker 3: he has he is, yet he has two wins now
- 13:18Speaker 3: over like Huntley And was that that game in overtime
- 13:24Speaker 3: and then some other meaningless game and maybe in overtime too.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Uh maybe it was against the Patriots in overtime. That's it.
- 13:31Speaker 3: And every end of the half, the end of the
- 13:34Speaker 3: half field goals, they take it to lay of game
- 13:36Speaker 3: on fourth and one and then have to kick a
- 13:39Speaker 3: sixty two yarder and then miss miss it. Obviously, sixty
- 13:43Speaker 3: two yarder outdoors not easy. You got to call time
- 13:46Speaker 3: out there. But if you just go for it, you're
- 13:48Speaker 3: the Titans, Like what do you do? It's fourth and one?
- 13:49Speaker 3: And then the Colts obviously get the ball at midfield
- 13:51Speaker 3: and then go and score before the half. Like the
- 13:53Speaker 3: whole operation is so incompetent. It's it's it's frankly like,
- 13:58Speaker 3: just how how is this an NFL run to billion
- 14:01Speaker 3: dollar franchises? Run this clowness? It's crazy.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Let's talk about the cold schedule for a second, because
- 14:08Speaker 4: I think they might only lose five games the rest
- 14:12Speaker 4: of the season, if even that many. Obviously the Rams
- 14:14Speaker 4: probably gonna be their first l next week. Then they're
- 14:17Speaker 4: home against the Raiders. They've got the Cardinals, gonna lose
- 14:19Speaker 4: to the Chargers, Titans, Steelers, Falcons, gonna lose to the Chiefs.
- 14:24Speaker 4: Split with the Texans probably Jags, Seahawks forty nine ers
- 14:28Speaker 4: are injury, injury and injury hell right now, Jags again, Texans.
- 14:32Speaker 4: I think they split with the Jags, split with the Texans, loose,
- 14:35Speaker 4: Chiefs lose Rams Chargers, maybe even split those, like they
- 14:40Speaker 4: might lose only five games this year if they can,
- 14:44Speaker 4: I do too. I'm not saying I think that the
- 14:46Speaker 4: wheels fall off at some point, they turn into a
- 14:48Speaker 4: pumpkin whatever you want to call it, but there is
- 14:52Speaker 4: something to be said. There is a team every single
- 14:54Speaker 4: year that has some crazy turnaround, and I.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Slash year they won fourteen before that, like definitely improved.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Yeah, there's always these these worse to first and crazy turnarounds.
- 15:06Speaker 3: It could be the Cults, but just to pump the
- 15:09Speaker 3: brakes a little bit, they beat the Dolphins and the Titans,
- 15:13Speaker 3: and then they beat the Broncos because of a leverage penalty,
- 15:16Speaker 3: like they could easily be two and one.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Argument, it made that defense on the Broncos look like ass.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Yes, but they also made Bonnicks and that offense look
- 15:24Speaker 3: really good. So that the two teams that they could
- 15:28Speaker 3: easily be two and one with wins over the Dolphins
- 15:31Speaker 3: and Titans. So I need to see more, but it's
- 15:34Speaker 3: definitely encouraging. If I was a Colts fan, I'd be
- 15:36Speaker 3: super exciting, super excited. They look like they have a
- 15:39Speaker 3: real shot to win this division. But I don't know,
- 15:43Speaker 3: I say they probably finished around like nine times.
- 15:45Speaker 4: I think it's crazy that the Texans are zero to three,
- 15:48Speaker 4: Like who had that on their Bengo card, because if
- 15:50Speaker 4: you did, I there's no way you did. I don't
- 15:52Speaker 4: believe that.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Yeah, they're they're cooked.
- 15:54Speaker 1: The thing with Indianapolis is that they've shown already that
- 15:57Speaker 1: they can beat up on bad teams and they and
- 16:00Speaker 1: what Kendrew's pointing out is that they have a lot
- 16:02Speaker 1: of bad teams on their schedule, so.
- 16:04Speaker 4: They don't Jags have a tough, fucking tough schedule through
- 16:09Speaker 4: the rest of the year. I mean, there's no way
- 16:11Speaker 4: in hell it's it's the Colts. I'm telling you, it's
- 16:13Speaker 4: the Colts. The Jag schedule is way too tough. They're
- 16:16Speaker 4: still way too incompetent. It is the Colt's division.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Well, the Texans have the hardest schedule in the division.
- 16:22Speaker 3: So now that they're zero and three, Bolts, look, they
- 16:26Speaker 3: could they could have they could be three and oh
- 16:28Speaker 3: is the crazy thing with the Texans. But their offense
- 16:30Speaker 3: just can't when you need it.
- 16:32Speaker 4: It's not gonnaic.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Yeah, because they've lost three games by thirteen combined points.
- 16:38Speaker 3: I mean, like, look at the Bucks. The Bucks have
- 16:40Speaker 3: won three games by six points total, but they were
- 16:44Speaker 3: in it. But now with that first place schedule the
- 16:47Speaker 3: Texans this week they should get a win over the
- 16:48Speaker 3: Titans at home. They're laying seven and a half. I
- 16:50Speaker 3: don't know how you bet the Titans anymore. Maybe I've
- 16:52Speaker 3: learned my lesson, but I don't know how you lay
- 16:53Speaker 3: seven and a half with the Texans offense.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Are they in jail? Put them in jail, stucky jail?
- 16:59Speaker 3: After at though, they got the Ravens, the Niners, the Broncos,
- 17:02Speaker 3: the Bills, the Chiefs like all coming up on their schedule,
- 17:07Speaker 3: So the Texans are in trouble.
- 17:09Speaker 1: The Texans. By the way, tell me which side I
- 17:11Speaker 1: want to vote here? Which side is the more disgusting side?
- 17:15Speaker 1: The Texans minus seven or the Titans plus seven next
- 17:19Speaker 1: week in Houston? Because they're both gross equally gross on
- 17:25Speaker 1: either side.
- 17:25Speaker 4: I think the Texans cover next week. Honestly, I think
- 17:28Speaker 4: it's I don't really You could give me whatever the
- 17:30Speaker 4: number would be, I'd probably take it for them next
- 17:32Speaker 4: week because they're at home revenge game. It's the Titans.
- 17:34Speaker 4: They're going to beat up on little brother. I'm honestly
- 17:38Speaker 4: the Texans might be in bet jail, but I might.
- 17:42Speaker 4: I might overthrow the guard and bet on the Texans
- 17:44Speaker 4: next week. I'm not even joking.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Post some bail for the Houston Texans.
- 17:48Speaker 4: I'm not even kidding, like Darren Holme against a terrible team.
- 17:51Speaker 2: It is at home. That's a bigger problem.
- 17:53Speaker 1: The Titans have lost against the spread ten straight home games.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Now they're on the road, so I think Tennessee might
- 18:01Speaker 1: actually be the side.
- 18:03Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, these these injuries are bad,
- 18:05Speaker 3: like they showed again today the sweat brownly like that.
- 18:08Speaker 3: They're their offensive line injuries. They need to get their
- 18:10Speaker 3: offensive line at least. They need Zeidler back at the
- 18:12Speaker 3: bare minimum. But they're so poorly coached, like Callahan's gonna
- 18:15Speaker 3: cost them like six points to game minimum, like it's
- 18:18Speaker 3: since it's it's absolutely insane. Uh speaking of insane, by
- 18:23Speaker 3: the way, you it depends on if there's a hawk
- 18:25Speaker 3: like I can't. I couldn't like seven and a half.
- 18:27Speaker 3: But I don't think I'm betting the Bightons, which means
- 18:29Speaker 3: they'll cover.
- 18:30Speaker 1: I in seventeen against the spread in the last twenty
- 18:33Speaker 1: for the Titans.
- 18:33Speaker 2: So for the record, they goes on on the road, either.
- 18:35Speaker 3: Thirteen of them. What, by the way, you got Broncos Bran,
- 18:41Speaker 3: you have Broncos plus two and a half? Did you
- 18:43Speaker 3: could have got a three? When did you bet that?
- 18:46Speaker 2: I bet that on Friday.
- 18:48Speaker 1: I think I was intrigued by the even money aspect
- 18:52Speaker 1: to it. I'm obsessed with pricing within the line itself,
- 18:57Speaker 1: and I didn't think that was ever gonna get to three.
- 19:00Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not willing to pay for half points.
- 19:01Speaker 1: I'm more likely to I'll pay for a half points,
- 19:03Speaker 1: but I would I'd be more likely to sell a
- 19:05Speaker 1: pack two.
- 19:06Speaker 3: And a half usually, like watch it's not usually, just
- 19:09Speaker 3: as I'm not saying this specific scenario, which just for
- 19:11Speaker 3: anyone out there. If it's like, if the line's sitting
- 19:13Speaker 3: at two and a half or five and a half,
- 19:15Speaker 3: and you like the dog, might as well wait most
- 19:18Speaker 3: times to see if a three or a six ever pops.
- 19:22Speaker 3: But speaking of insane the Kendrick, I'm sure you watched
- 19:27Speaker 3: this one closely. The Patriots Steelers, I mean the classic
- 19:31Speaker 3: classic Steelers game. How many times did I do? Only
- 19:36Speaker 3: I lost count? How many times the Patriots fumbled? How
- 19:38Speaker 3: many times they got right? At the goal line and fumbled.
- 19:42Speaker 3: There was a stretch. This was the Steelers about fourteen
- 19:45Speaker 3: nothing in the early in the second quarter. This was
- 19:49Speaker 3: These were their next six drives, three plays five yards,
- 19:53Speaker 3: one play negative one yard, end of half, three play
- 19:56Speaker 3: zero yards, interception, three plays negative two yards, three plays
- 20:00Speaker 3: three yards, five plays twenty two yards. They went basically
- 20:05Speaker 3: two and a half quarters with twenty total yards while
- 20:09Speaker 3: the Patriots were driving up and down the field and
- 20:12Speaker 3: then just turning it over, not converting on fourth downs.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Just a classic Steelers victory. I don't know what was
- 20:20Speaker 3: going on with New England today. They just could note
- 20:23Speaker 3: onto the ball.
- 20:24Speaker 4: I just can't believe Aaron Rodgers finally won a game
- 20:26Speaker 4: at Gillette and it was this version of Aaron Rodgers
- 20:30Speaker 4: as this is currently constructed. I don't know. This game
- 20:34Speaker 4: kind of went how I expected it to. I didn't
- 20:37Speaker 4: the one thing I didn't expect. I expected for a
- 20:40Speaker 4: Mike Vraebel led defense to have a little bit more
- 20:45Speaker 4: poise than they did towards the end of that game.
- 20:48Speaker 4: But what I finally convinced my coworkers on yesterday up
- 20:51Speaker 4: here was that I thought the Patriots run game was
- 20:54Speaker 4: the only saving grace for them, and they absolutely shit
- 20:57Speaker 4: the bed today. Like I thought that that run game
- 20:59Speaker 4: was the only shot that the Patriots had it winning today,
- 21:02Speaker 4: and boy did they ship the bed good for Aaron
- 21:04Speaker 4: Rodgers Classic Steelers game felt like, you know, a sloppier
- 21:08Speaker 4: version of you know, the Patriots Steelers of old when
- 21:12Speaker 4: you just look at the scoreboard. But god was it ugly.
- 21:15Speaker 4: Like I'll tell you what, New England Sports Radio is
- 21:19Speaker 4: going to lose their shit on Monday. Every single show
- 21:24Speaker 4: open to close is going to have a field day
- 21:26Speaker 4: with this game. It's going to I honestly saw Patriots
- 21:30Speaker 4: fans on Twitter calling for Mike Vrabel to be fired already.
- 21:34Speaker 4: It is week three.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I just still know what have we not learned
- 21:37Speaker 1: about Ramondre Stevenson. This guy's had fumble issues since he
- 21:40Speaker 1: entered the NFL. You drafted a running back in the
- 21:43Speaker 1: second round. He looked amazing in the preseason, and then
- 21:45Speaker 1: they buried him behind Antonio Gibson. Both Stevenson and Gibson
- 21:49Speaker 1: were in charge of most of those fumbles, and it
- 21:53Speaker 1: took him And then finally Vrabel came around and he
- 21:56Speaker 1: played Henderson at the end of the game. Who did
- 21:57Speaker 1: not fumble in this game. By the way, he's.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Got your lead guy going for it. There's no excuse
- 22:02Speaker 4: he should have been after he had that kick return
- 22:04Speaker 4: in the preseason. He should have been your guy, right
- 22:06Speaker 4: that No, absolutely.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Final box score that game is for typical Steelers game
- 22:13Speaker 3: three and sixty nine yards, Steelers two oh three yards
- 22:16Speaker 3: per play five point two to four point one. Patriots
- 22:20Speaker 3: five turnovers, four lost fumbles, two for four in the
- 22:23Speaker 3: red zone, Steelers three for three in the red zone.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Hitting on the Patriots is my personality. Sorry, yeah, that's just.
- 22:33Speaker 3: That's that was a bad loss, bad home loss. Can't
- 22:35Speaker 3: can't lose that game with the way that they were
- 22:37Speaker 3: dominating for long stretches. But credit to credit the Steelers,
- 22:41Speaker 3: but all the Bengals love out there.
- 22:44Speaker 4: That got squashed Carson Wentz revenge.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Tour and they were the public side today too. I
- 22:51Speaker 1: wrote down all the public sides and then a lot
- 22:54Speaker 1: of a lot of these teams did end up covering Panthers,
- 22:56Speaker 1: Bears Bills on Thursday, Commanders, Eagles.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Jets, Bills did not cover sir.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Oh that's right, Yeah, I mean I don't know my
- 23:07Speaker 2: Dolphins covered.
- 23:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I can't an.
- 23:12Speaker 1: I don't know if I'm gonna have it in time
- 23:13Speaker 1: for the Tuesday show, but I will. I will wear
- 23:16Speaker 1: whatever shirt is thrust upon me. I'll wear it before.
- 23:19Speaker 4: Before we get He was being nice to you with
- 23:21Speaker 4: the options.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Yeah I might, I might have to search again tonight.
- 23:27Speaker 4: But I wanted you to wear the shirt that said
- 23:29Speaker 4: chair Liquor with butterflies on it, so.
- 23:34Speaker 3: I'll be nice.
- 23:36Speaker 2: I appreciate that.
- 23:36Speaker 3: Isaiah Rodgers, by the way, I had the game of
- 23:38Speaker 3: the day he I mean may it was like one
- 23:42Speaker 3: defensive player of the year and a half. If you can,
- 23:44Speaker 3: if you could do that, he did it. He had.
- 23:47Speaker 3: I saw on the broadcast they said he had PFF's
- 23:51Speaker 3: first ninety nine point nine rating for a game. He
- 23:55Speaker 3: was dominant. And yeah, there's just it turns out there's
- 23:58Speaker 3: not much of a drop off between McCarthy and Wentz. Now,
- 24:01Speaker 3: granted that's one game, but I didn't think that going
- 24:03Speaker 3: in with helping.
- 24:03Speaker 4: I still think Wentz is better and could.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Be McCarthy could could be that bad. And Browning.
- 24:09Speaker 4: I think he's gonna play again.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he has to.
- 24:13Speaker 2: I do too.
- 24:13Speaker 4: I think he plays maybe two more games, and if
- 24:15Speaker 4: he shits the bet again, there's they can't not throw
- 24:18Speaker 4: Carson Wentz out there. If this is the difference between
- 24:21Speaker 4: the two of them in this division, like they have
- 24:23Speaker 4: a window.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean you got it. But yeah, they're gonna
- 24:26Speaker 3: put him back out there. He's their franchise quarterback. But
- 24:29Speaker 3: uh yeah, the Bengals, the Vikings defense is the story.
- 24:32Speaker 3: I mean, the Bengals couldn't do anything. They were they
- 24:34Speaker 3: were putting the ground. There was stay had five turnovers.
- 24:37Speaker 3: You're not gonna win many games with five turnovers. But
- 24:39Speaker 3: they only as three point three yards per play. It
- 24:43Speaker 3: was God, it was a disgusting Bengals effort. But credits
- 24:47Speaker 3: to Flora is that defense and Wentz And yeah, thirty
- 24:51Speaker 3: eight point win in that one.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Here's another question of well, then, now that we've discussed
- 24:56Speaker 1: the Steelers and their ugly win and the Vikings and
- 24:59Speaker 1: they're perfect fens, what do we do with the London game.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Pittsburgh Steelers Minnesota Vikings nine thirty on the East Coast
- 25:08Speaker 1: on Sunday, Week four. The Steelers are plus one and
- 25:11Speaker 1: a half. They're listed as the home team. There's no
- 25:14Speaker 1: home team. It's neutral.
- 25:16Speaker 2: It feels like an overreaction to back the the Kings had.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Both teams benefited from five turnovers today and now they're
- 25:24Speaker 3: playing each other. My first thoughts on the game, I
- 25:28Speaker 3: have no idea. I have to dig into both of
- 25:31Speaker 3: those games a lot deeper because they were just both
- 25:33Speaker 3: of those games were so weird. So what is the
- 25:37Speaker 3: early line on that is one.
- 25:39Speaker 2: And a half Vikings.
- 25:40Speaker 4: I have experienced London games time and time again as
- 25:45Speaker 4: a Jaguars fan. I'll tell you what I'm doing. Whoever
- 25:48Speaker 4: gets there first to adjust to the time change is
- 25:51Speaker 4: who I'm betting on. I have been through many a
- 25:54Speaker 4: London game. That seems to be the strategy. I'm sure
- 25:57Speaker 4: Evan Abrams can do some research because he is our king,
- 26:01Speaker 4: But from my memory, genuinely, whoever gets there first, I'm
- 26:05Speaker 4: pretty sure gets the advantage.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that is something I pay attention to. I'll look
- 26:08Speaker 3: to see if the teams have different approaches for the
- 26:13Speaker 3: travel schedule. Be the first of two straight international games
- 26:17Speaker 3: for for the Vikings. But a lot of injuries on
- 26:20Speaker 3: both teams actually to monitor too, so that one that's
- 26:25Speaker 3: wait and see. We'll talk about that later in the week.
- 26:27Speaker 3: I don't I don't have any strong feel right off
- 26:28Speaker 3: the bat, but there's there's certainly a lot.
- 26:30Speaker 4: To track whoever gets there first.
- 26:32Speaker 1: For me, yeah, I like that angle. I think if
- 26:34Speaker 1: the Steelers pass rush can fluster Carson Wentz in a
- 26:37Speaker 1: way that Cincinnati was clearly not able to early, look
- 26:41Speaker 1: for me would be Pittsburgh on that one.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Yeah, which makes the Minnesota offensive line injuries key, like
- 26:47Speaker 3: are they going to be healthy? Are they going to
- 26:49Speaker 3: get healthier? So it's just the Steelers defense has injuries too,
- 26:52Speaker 3: So there's there's definitely a lot to keep.
- 26:56Speaker 4: Yeah, but can Aaron Rodgers at this point in his
- 26:59Speaker 4: career with just basically DK Metcalf put up points against
- 27:02Speaker 4: that Vikings defense right now? That's my question.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Yeah, that's gonna be No, theos office does not look great.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Uh they got away with one today, but yeah, no,
- 27:15Speaker 3: no feel initially, let me see week four. I do
- 27:20Speaker 3: like the Giants tonight, I'm one the Giants. I feel
- 27:22Speaker 3: like I'm on an island with that one.
- 27:24Speaker 1: But I'm on that. I'm with you. I'm on the
- 27:25Speaker 1: Giants as well. I got the six.
- 27:28Speaker 4: I feel like I hate what it has gone up to,
- 27:32Speaker 4: but I think that there's no way the Chiefs don't
- 27:35Speaker 4: kick ass tonight in my opinion, well, I think there.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Is a chance.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Done.
- 27:41Speaker 1: I'm done two units on the day, one unit on
- 27:44Speaker 1: the Giants. So it's this is the worst feeling. Is
- 27:47Speaker 1: the sports better when you're just you're just fighting to
- 27:49Speaker 1: go down one? You know, there's like nothing really in
- 27:52Speaker 1: it other than not losing more. But I just just
- 27:55Speaker 1: leave it where it's at. Don't see.
- 27:56Speaker 3: By the way, I haven't covered as more than a
- 27:58Speaker 3: five point favorite and six hundred in twenty days. I
- 28:01Speaker 3: think they're zero and eight against the spread. Evan can
- 28:04Speaker 3: you look that up? When's the last time the Chiefs
- 28:07Speaker 3: is Evan on here? I think he is. Yeah, when's
- 28:10Speaker 3: the last time the Chiefs covered as a favorite of
- 28:13Speaker 3: five or more points? I think it's been like six
- 28:16Speaker 3: hundred days? And how many over that stretch did they
- 28:19Speaker 3: not cover? Worthy's not playing? This team still can't. I
- 28:22Speaker 3: mean now that I'm saying this game is but the star,
- 28:24Speaker 3: I'm gonna look Dumb's me like seventeen nothing in the
- 28:25Speaker 3: first quarter. They can't get margin on teams, and the
- 28:28Speaker 3: weakest part of the Giants is their secondary, Like they
- 28:32Speaker 3: can cover these Chiefs receivers.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Worthy still out yeah, I mean like they.
- 28:37Speaker 3: Just I think the Chiefs will probably win. But when
- 28:39Speaker 3: the Chiefs win, they went by like three. That's just
- 28:44Speaker 3: who this team is until they get fully healthy on
- 28:46Speaker 3: the offense. And I'm curious to see if that Giants
- 28:49Speaker 3: defensive line. It would be a good test. We'll see
- 28:52Speaker 3: where the Chiefs offensive line is.
- 28:55Speaker 4: What do you got, evan six or more twelve December
- 29:00Speaker 4: of twenty three, I don't. I think it's a twelve
- 29:02Speaker 4: twenty one twenty three.
- 29:03Speaker 5: Yeah, last time they've covered a spread of six or
- 29:07Speaker 5: more was December thirty first, twenty twenty three against the Bengals.
- 29:12Speaker 3: So how many days again, that's like six hundred.
- 29:13Speaker 5: Days basically, Yeah, you know.
- 29:16Speaker 3: What are they against the spread as a favorite of
- 29:19Speaker 3: five or more over that span of six or more?
- 29:21Speaker 5: Well, I even I looked at six, I'm looking at
- 29:23Speaker 5: five or more. Now it's three six. They've lost their
- 29:26Speaker 5: last six against the spread. It looks like, yeah, it's terrible.
- 29:30Speaker 5: I mean, Mahomes doesn't cover it's.
- 29:32Speaker 3: This big of a favorite. Let's see, just so hard by.
- 29:35Speaker 1: The way, Oh, so I was gonna I was gonna
- 29:38Speaker 1: add to it because this should also terrify you if
- 29:40Speaker 1: you're on the chief side. They're getting fifty six percent
- 29:43Speaker 1: of the bets right now. They're close to reaching that
- 29:46Speaker 1: sixty percent threshold, which has been a killer for the
- 29:49Speaker 1: public so far this season. Uh the Chiefs favored by
- 29:55Speaker 1: nearly a full uh touchdown six with five and a
- 29:59Speaker 1: half to end on where you're getting it right now?
- 30:02Speaker 1: And it's the public side, and it's a primetime game.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Usually these primetime games get pretty ugly. It's definitely Giants
- 30:08Speaker 1: or nothing.
- 30:09Speaker 3: Yeah, chaperon, you get a sex. You can get d
- 30:12Speaker 3: kay as best price in market. Had draftings so wonderful
- 30:18Speaker 3: one of that the Giants with us, And now that
- 30:21Speaker 3: we've jinxed it, maybe you don't, but.
- 30:23Speaker 4: Don't put that evil on me, Ricky Bobby and you can.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Right on like s kareem hunt anytime touchdown. I know that.
- 30:31Speaker 3: But yeah, that's Do you guys have anything you're looking
- 30:35Speaker 3: at next week? Off the bat?
- 30:39Speaker 4: Let me scroll through these. I can the Jags being
- 30:43Speaker 4: favor or the forty nine ers being favored by five
- 30:45Speaker 4: and a half against the Jags to open is crazy.
- 30:48Speaker 4: It's at four and a half three and a half
- 30:50Speaker 4: some places, but with Mac Jones probably playing, that's nuts
- 30:53Speaker 4: to me still, Yeah, but it is Is.
- 30:55Speaker 3: It going to be Jones? Because party was close, so
- 30:59Speaker 3: I don't know the four nine ers. Bosa got hurt too,
- 31:01Speaker 3: that's worth noting. Yeah, he hurt his knee. Yeah, I
- 31:06Speaker 3: mean if it was Jones, I'd take the three and
- 31:08Speaker 3: a half. Anything over three, I should.
- 31:11Speaker 4: Say, honestly, probably the Seahawks. I like the Seahawks number
- 31:14Speaker 4: to start playing the Cardinals. The Cardinals are trash and
- 31:17Speaker 4: the Seahawks are so much better than people I think
- 31:19Speaker 4: people are giving them credit for right now. I even
- 31:22Speaker 4: with sharbon Ay hurt, Like, I think that Kenneth Walker
- 31:24Speaker 4: can carry that even though he's so injury prone. Cooper
- 31:27Speaker 4: Cup looks better than I thought that he would js.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Since playing like one of the best receivers in the league.
- 31:32Speaker 4: That offense were hating on Cooper Cup heading into this season.
- 31:35Speaker 4: Sam Darnold also revenge tour.
- 31:39Speaker 3: I I think initially not I think initially, I Kendra,
- 31:42Speaker 3: I hate to disagree with you, but I think I
- 31:43Speaker 3: initially disagreed. I mean the Seahawks. The Cardinals had a
- 31:47Speaker 3: bunch of injuries worth I gotta keep track of. But
- 31:50Speaker 3: like the Seahawks today, team's off thirty point wins usually
- 31:55Speaker 3: a decent fade for what it's worth a dierent automatic bets.
- 31:58Speaker 3: But the Seahawks won by thirty one today. There was
- 32:01Speaker 3: a point in time when Rattler Rattler in the first
- 32:06Speaker 3: half went twenty two of twenty nine for one to
- 32:08Speaker 3: fifty five, no interceptions, and the Saints were down thirty
- 32:13Speaker 3: eight to six, and the Seahawks had one hundred and
- 32:16Speaker 3: fifty passing yards in the first half. Did that was?
- 32:19Speaker 3: I'm curious to see how their special teams get graded.
- 32:21Speaker 4: The defense today.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Yes, but the Saints' special teams was was one of
- 32:27Speaker 3: the worst special teams performances I've ever seen. Like you're talking,
- 32:30Speaker 3: they gave they got a punt blocked right for the
- 32:32Speaker 3: first time and since twenty eleven, it was the longest
- 32:35Speaker 3: active streak in the NFL that's gone. They had. They
- 32:38Speaker 3: gave up a long punt was it a punt return
- 32:41Speaker 3: touchdown to Horton. They kept giving up long returns and
- 32:44Speaker 3: then the saddest they would kick the saddest field goals
- 32:47Speaker 3: I've seen all day in the day of excitement. The
- 32:50Speaker 3: Saints were so sad. It was thirty five to three
- 32:55Speaker 3: and they tried towards the end of the first half.
- 32:58Speaker 3: They ended up making another field but to cut the
- 32:59Speaker 3: third but they tried like a twenty yard field goal
- 33:02Speaker 3: down thirty five to three, and they missed it. One
- 33:05Speaker 3: of the saddest moments they probably of the entire season.
- 33:08Speaker 3: But that so that was kind of this leading Like
- 33:10Speaker 3: the Seahawks just had so much go their way on
- 33:14Speaker 3: special teams. So you know, the offense still is. It's
- 33:18Speaker 3: not like an it was an offensive explosion. I mean
- 33:20Speaker 3: the total yards were like three twenty to two eighty
- 33:23Speaker 3: five in that game. I mean they were impressive. But
- 33:26Speaker 3: again it was the Saints, so and then the Cardinals.
- 33:32Speaker 3: That was an ugly game against the forty nine.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Moment of silence for James Connor. I think he's done
- 33:36Speaker 1: for the season. He got carted off. It looked like
- 33:39Speaker 1: the ankle snapped.
- 33:40Speaker 4: Did you guys watch the videos? There's no, he's not.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Yeah yeah.
- 33:46Speaker 4: Next week is the Super Bowl for haters though, aka myself,
- 33:49Speaker 4: because it's the Panthers and the Patriots.
- 33:52Speaker 1: How do you not want to be on the sad
- 33:53Speaker 1: cats plus four and a half against his Patriots too?
- 33:56Speaker 1: They do not And it's not even about backing the pants.
- 34:00Speaker 1: There's which is a lot of fun at this juncture,
- 34:02Speaker 1: But the Patriots should not be four and a half
- 34:04Speaker 1: point favorites against anybody? Come on, are we serious with
- 34:07Speaker 1: this number?
- 34:09Speaker 3: I might hear you guys all show. I think I
- 34:10Speaker 3: might bet the Patriots.
- 34:12Speaker 4: I think I might too. I hate to say it,
- 34:13Speaker 4: like you're on the.
- 34:15Speaker 3: Patriots, you're gonna fade him every week?
- 34:17Speaker 4: You already I need to, But I just there's no
- 34:20Speaker 4: way the Panthers beat the bag out of anybody, and
- 34:24Speaker 4: come we need to beat the bag.
- 34:26Speaker 2: All they need to do is cover four and a half.
- 34:28Speaker 4: I know, but that's what I'm saying, is like it
- 34:29Speaker 4: would be so Panthers for them to just shit the
- 34:32Speaker 4: bed next week after having a showing like this.
- 34:34Speaker 2: I get it.
- 34:35Speaker 1: I'm not trying to I'm not rushing to the window
- 34:37Speaker 1: to bet the team that just won by thirty and
- 34:40Speaker 1: shut a team out. But I have a I have
- 34:43Speaker 1: a strict rule to not bet irresponsible favorites, and boy,
- 34:47Speaker 1: the Patriots fit that bill.
- 34:49Speaker 2: So do the Dolphins.
- 34:50Speaker 1: By the way, Monday Night Football, they're two and a
- 34:52Speaker 1: half point favorites against the Jets. Torod Taylor was an
- 34:55Speaker 1: improvement from justin Fields as predicted by Stu. Yeah, exactly.
- 35:02Speaker 1: And this is the fire me game for Mike McDaniels.
- 35:04Speaker 1: They lose this, he's gone. So that's you know, they
- 35:07Speaker 1: weren't gonna fire him after losing to the Bills. That's
- 35:09Speaker 1: a respectable team to lose to. Even if they weren't
- 35:11Speaker 1: to cover the spread and keep it tight.
- 35:13Speaker 4: I don't think they were gonna let run around so
- 35:14Speaker 4: the fourth you can't fire that man. After that, Mike
- 35:16Speaker 4: mccackey's lives to see another day.
- 35:19Speaker 1: I don't want him to get fired. It's just the
- 35:21Speaker 1: reality of the situation. If they lose to the Jets
- 35:24Speaker 1: at home in prime time, he's done.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Yeah, that's it.
- 35:28Speaker 3: Yeah, he has been great and like the league has
- 35:30Speaker 3: kind of figured out a lot of what he does.
- 35:32Speaker 3: But this isn't his fault. This is the GM on down.
- 35:35Speaker 3: This is a oh ye, poorly constructed roster. The moves
- 35:40Speaker 3: that they make make no sense. The drafting is bad,
- 35:43Speaker 3: Like they just need to blow it up. And I
- 35:47Speaker 3: mean they really need entirely new management and people running
- 35:51Speaker 3: that team. But that's that's the story of another day.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Can we talk about the Bears though? The Bears look competent.
- 35:57Speaker 3: Caleb Williams looked great. Now, granted it was the Cowboys defense,
- 36:01Speaker 3: which is atrocious and Ebra Flu's got embarrassed in his
- 36:04Speaker 3: return to Soldier Field, but Williams look good. The Bears
- 36:09Speaker 3: defense it's still not great, but there was some improvement
- 36:12Speaker 3: there with all backup defensive backs. I will say, in fairness,
- 36:17Speaker 3: I bet the Bears smaller. One of the things I
- 36:18Speaker 3: was worried about, obviously was their backup corners against Pickens
- 36:22Speaker 3: and Lamb Lamb getting hurt was huge, like just just
- 36:27Speaker 3: massive in that game. Uh. But yeah, the Bears. The
- 36:30Speaker 3: Bears look confident. Give some hope. You go ow in three,
- 36:34Speaker 3: like you go in three that who's going three? Or
- 36:35Speaker 3: now like the Texans are owing three historically you're talking
- 36:39Speaker 3: one percent chance to make the playoffs.
- 36:42Speaker 4: Yea, it's are owing three sense, and the Chiefs or
- 36:48Speaker 4: the Giants will be too. I gotta say, Ben Johnson
- 36:52Speaker 4: absolutely mushroom stamped with the freaking play calling today. The
- 36:57Speaker 4: kitchen sink game, dog through everything out there. It was awesome, entertaining.
- 37:03Speaker 4: Not only did Caleb Williams look good, they look like
- 37:06Speaker 4: they took a huge step in the right direction offensively
- 37:09Speaker 4: this week, just as a whole. I was very impressed.
- 37:12Speaker 1: He looked like the number one overall pick and that
- 37:14Speaker 1: was the biggest That's the biggest thing that you needed,
- 37:16Speaker 1: Ben Johnson to get out of this scene was just
- 37:18Speaker 1: to make Caleb Williams look like the dude he had
- 37:21Speaker 1: two ninety eight four touchdowns just throwing the ball deep.
- 37:24Speaker 2: It was awesome.
- 37:26Speaker 1: And though, okay, sorry, well, I was just gonna all
- 37:29Speaker 1: I was gonna do is pat myself on the back
- 37:31Speaker 1: because I was the only one that came through on
- 37:33Speaker 1: the three muskets here parlay with that one.
- 37:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm so mad atladd McConkey. It's actually unreal. I
- 37:38Speaker 4: am in lad mcconkee, bet jail, even though he's score
- 37:41Speaker 4: next week.
- 37:42Speaker 3: Yeah, we're also not going to talk about this three
- 37:44Speaker 3: monstcuts probably any more, because that means we have to
- 37:46Speaker 3: think about the rams, and I don't want to think
- 37:47Speaker 3: about the rams anymore.
- 37:50Speaker 2: That one got that one got blown up early.
- 37:52Speaker 3: Do you know who? Uh look bad? That? I was Bonnicks.
- 37:55Speaker 3: He missed countless wide open passes on the field. Credit
- 38:01Speaker 3: to Mark Parker's get another win there. Three and Zer
- 38:04Speaker 3: now head to the Giants, and if you're a Broncos fan,
- 38:09Speaker 3: pain the last two weeks end on walk off field goals.
- 38:12Speaker 4: So it's crazy because their defense looked so bad last
- 38:15Speaker 4: week and looked incredible this week. I have them in
- 38:18Speaker 4: fantasy and I know we're not a fantasy football show,
- 38:21Speaker 4: but I stupidly after last week panicked and changed out
- 38:26Speaker 4: my defense, and I should have. But their defense gonna
- 38:29Speaker 4: have to hold this team together. If Bonix really is
- 38:30Speaker 4: going to go through a sophomore slump, it's going to
- 38:32Speaker 4: have to be on them. They're going to have to
- 38:33Speaker 4: be the defense that everybody predicted them to be at
- 38:35Speaker 4: the beginning of the season. But the Chargers looked damn good.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Yeah, their defense is good. I mean, Herbert's obviously good.
- 38:42Speaker 3: They got their most accurate kicker in NFL history. They
- 38:44Speaker 3: got a lot of things working their way. But you
- 38:46Speaker 3: could see today the injuries for the Chargers on the
- 38:50Speaker 3: offensive line start to show.
- 38:52Speaker 4: They got the Ashi Harry game.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Yeah, and but like Sallyer was in there getting destroyed
- 39:00Speaker 3: because I think Beckton came out and then obviously they
- 39:02Speaker 3: lost their starting tackle before the year, and you you
- 39:05Speaker 3: started to see that day because Herbert was under a
- 39:06Speaker 3: ton of pressure. Obviously those teams don't have to pass
- 39:08Speaker 3: Rush of Denver, but a slight concern if you're a
- 39:11Speaker 3: Charges fan, but obviously happy to be three to oh
- 39:14Speaker 3: with the Giants coming up. So yeah, they're there, rightful
- 39:18Speaker 3: favorite in that division.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Any final thoughts before we step aside for what should
- 39:23Speaker 1: be a pretty entertaining Sunday night football game.
- 39:26Speaker 4: Next week looks ugly gambling wise, that's my thought. Next
- 39:29Speaker 4: week looks like the Trenches might shrink.
- 39:33Speaker 1: The board, drink the board. I'm yelling this to myself.
- 39:36Speaker 1: I had way too many, way too many bets in
- 39:38Speaker 1: the app this week. I need to we need to
- 39:40Speaker 1: slow it down, especially thought.
- 39:43Speaker 3: It's a I'm gonna just beg and hope that the
- 39:48Speaker 3: gambling gods listened to me through the first three weeks.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Some of the beats that I've had, like, can I
- 39:53Speaker 3: have some joy? Like just some joy At the end
- 39:56Speaker 3: of the game, I guess that the Jets was a
- 39:58Speaker 3: joyous moment, but I thought that was locked up. And
- 40:01Speaker 3: then of course the Bucks scramble forty yards and then
- 40:04Speaker 3: come up one short, one yard short of the first continues, Yeah,
- 40:09Speaker 3: there the Eagles, the Eagles and the Bucks and the
- 40:12Speaker 3: Luck Bowl next week. I assume that's going. Whoever has
- 40:16Speaker 3: the ball last will win. I don't bet the if
- 40:18Speaker 3: I if I don't bet against the Eagles, they'll call
- 40:20Speaker 3: like seven push penalties.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Then I think we need to hate.
- 40:25Speaker 1: I think we need to hate bet against the Eagles.
- 40:30Speaker 3: I mean, wake up in the second half, but it's
- 40:33Speaker 3: still they were running like the same two routes, but
- 40:37Speaker 3: it's there's still war. Calling is still bad.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Yeah, we're at war with the Eagles.
- 40:43Speaker 3: This is not worth the Bucks too, though, So I
- 40:45Speaker 3: don't know. I might have to stay away from that one.
- 40:47Speaker 3: So I don't know.
- 40:47Speaker 4: We'll be back w Maconkey.
- 40:51Speaker 3: Yes, and the Patriots, well, unless you might bet the
- 40:54Speaker 3: Patriots this week. Stunning that if you bet the Patriots
- 40:57Speaker 3: against the Panthers. But no, I don't know that. That's
- 40:59Speaker 3: that's all I thought. I have go Giants, Go Giants,
- 41:03Speaker 3: and we'll be back during the week to talk Week four.
