- 0:18[SPEAKER_04]: two young quarterbacks as well.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_04]: What is Ted Hurst going to look like there at that wide receiver position?
- 0:26[SPEAKER_04]: Also two Rubin Bane Jr. how is Todd Bowles going to be utilizing him?
- 0:31[SPEAKER_04]: We'll get our first look, Lance of how that's going to look like on Friday.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_04]: We'll cover that.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_04]: Also two jersey numbers have been released.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_04]: Of course, I love Jersey numbers and they're always, I'm very specific about how they look on guys.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_04]: I love Jersey numbers.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_04]: I love all that.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_04]: So we're going to be very picky on this so stay tuned for that topic.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_04]: We've also got Baker Mayfield's contract discussion.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_04]: What is it going to look like?
- 0:53[SPEAKER_04]: Is it going to happen soon?
- 0:54[SPEAKER_04]: What are the bucks going to do with Baker in the future?
- 0:58[SPEAKER_04]: Also, to Rob Grunkowski made a very bold statement that Patriots fans aren't going to like, but Buccaneers fans will love it.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_04]: and then we'll finish it off to with what the bucks were looking into before the NFL draft including going after a top NFC edge russia along with to some discussion on Max Crosby and at Tray Hendrix and Jason Lyod gave some scoop on that just about what yesterday so we've got some good stuff there to detail you guys.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_04]: But with me is Caleb Skinner, our veteran writer at boxameda.com and Riverwells, our lead editor here in at Tampa,
- 1:30[SPEAKER_04]: Gentlemen, happy Wednesday.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_04]: It's a beautiful one down here and the bay.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_04]: Hope you are doing good.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_04]: How are we doing?
- 1:36[SPEAKER_02]: This chillin, you know, but again, Raver, we're looking at any camp.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_02]: It's coming up on Friday.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_02]: We're hitting that stretch at the off season.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_02]: We got some stuff going on back to back.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_02]: So excited to do that.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, a lot of lots to talk about, I'm excited about it.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_00]: Rookie Mini Cam, Super Thriller is going to be there to be able to, you know, examine some of these guys, see how they're, you know, taking their first steps into professional football and to the league and everything.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm in my kitchen right now my prize picks stuff man.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: What's this, these prize picks thing, these memorabilia prize picks stuff gets here.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'll move back down into the cave and we'll see how things are going right now up here and then the kitchen and just excited to talk to them.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_04]: You're about to cook us a while.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_04]: You're about to cook up some wild takes.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_04]: I'll ask out the end of this episode too.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_04]: I did do a wild take with our guy, Jay Retrieve, he does a phenomenal show, and I had a reaching take, I should say, of the Widersy Room, and who might be your Widersy Room one.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_04]: But we'll talk about that maybe at the end.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_04]: If we do have some time, but we got a handful of things to discuss.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_04]: If you're here with us on YouTube, smack that like button.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_04]: If you're in the comments, though, us one, if you have any topics or questions,
- 2:41[SPEAKER_04]: We're bringing it up on the screen and we'll do as best as we can doing a deep dive into wit.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_04]: But let's get started like we have been talking about.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_04]: We've got rookie mini camp.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_04]: It's arrived.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_04]: We've already seen a handful of other teams go through theirs.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_04]: But now it's time for the Tampa Bay Buck and years to have theirs which it feels like nationally the bucks have one this draft.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_04]: They've done a really good job.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_04]: All of us on here gave them a strong grade in it.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_04]: But now we get to see these guys in person including a lot of these undrafted free agents as well.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_04]: River, since you're going to be there on site Friday.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_04]: Name the number one thing that is staying out to.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_04]: I know you wrote an article too about this, but what is the number one thing when you're out there?
- 3:23[SPEAKER_04]: I know we want to get our photos and videos of everything.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_04]: What's it going to be?
- 3:26[SPEAKER_04]: Were you looking at?
- 3:27[SPEAKER_02]: Pianta Scott.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_02]: I think.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_02]: The nickel corner coming in for Tampa Bay and the reason there's I've mentioned this in two different articles now, but when Jacob Parrish came to Tampa Bay and was set by that nickel corner back slot, he looks really good immediately.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, or people on the beat who were saying, oh, this kid's got what it takes.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_02]: He looks really good in looking at any camp.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_02]: He looked good in management, many camp got some interceptions played really well.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_02]: going in a training camp, he showed out and he won that job.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm kind of curious to see if Q&A Scott makes an immediate impact like that right away.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_02]: And for some positions is hard to evaluate with that pads on.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_02]: So people excited to see Ruben Bay and out there, that'll be really cool.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't really do a lot until a big it pads on, right?
- 4:11[SPEAKER_02]: So that's something to consider as well when you're talking about rookie severely excited about it.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, many can't.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_02]: Q&A Scott's got a lot to do.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_02]: Ted Hershey's a lot to do.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_02]: Right, Bauer Sharps got a lot to do.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_02]: So a lot of those guys who can show their athleticism against similar players against UDFA is against draft picks and I show off their instincts and be one of the prevailing people to come out of that camp, the the stars.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_02]: The, the dealer showed the most promise that will win to the scene.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think County Scott could have a shot to do that.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_02]: So I'll be looking at number 22 because you like numbers Logan.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_02]: We're looking at number 22.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_04]: We'll talk about that number, Seth.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's a solid number.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead, Caleb.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think we've talked about this on previous seasons, previous off seasons where this is kind of like where you're looking back at the college era of the seven on seven on sevens, all that fun stuff, the elite 11s, things of that nature.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of what it's like here in Enrique Mini Camp, where there's no pads.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: You're kind of just doing that sort of jager or whatever.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I mean, so all the,
- 5:17[SPEAKER_00]: focus should be on the on the skill players or on defenders who are covering those skill players, not necessarily your offense of Lyman, your edge rusher's, your deep hits of tackles, anything like that.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: So something that I'm really excited to pay attention to, really excited to see, you know, kind of.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: work it's way out is, excuse me, Eric Rivers.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: I was really high on, you know, then being able to make it.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know the wide receiver thing.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's a really deep room.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: We really like some of the other guys like Cameron Johnson, for instance.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: But I've picked their agrivers as somebody who I could see being able to make the roster and some sort of fashion And I think it would be a great asset as well So being able to see what he's doing being able to transfer over his skills from Georgia Tech where he didn't necessarily see The amount of you know balls that he probably should have but was able to do a lot with what he was given there And it run heavy system back there with the obtained king who was kind of you know running quarterback there not necessarily guys gonna push the ball down field
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so for him to be able to come in, what he's going to be able to do against some of these, you know, a Kiote Scott, for instance, um, because Eric Rivers is not necessarily a small guy more of a Z Y receiver not a true ex, but not really an necessarily like big slot or not necessarily like a mainly slot guy.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so he can kind of play a Z Y receiver.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see what Kiote Scott does with, um, there as well with him.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, that's something I'm really looking forward to is what Eric Rivers is able to, is going to be able to show us early in rookie many camp for him to be able to stay around.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think he will be able to do that after Rookie Mini Camp, and then forcing into the future what he's going to be able to do when it comes to OTAs, mandatory Mini Camp training camp.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: So that's something I'm paying to do, obviously everybody's eyes are going to be on set hers.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: That's another big one.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: How great is he going to look?
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: We saw him at the senior bowl.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: But never going to get to see him live with more interest and river.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure everybody's eyes are going to be locked into him because he is human being as well.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: So he's going to kind of stand out amongst the crowd.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: You're looking at, you know, guys, you know, hubmatcher.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: who's going to be kind of an interesting guy or kind of watch where he's playing because he's making that move from defense to offense.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_00]: So that'll be a little bit interesting there.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: Hyden-Marik has surf running aid, has put in there as well.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: So a lot of different pieces that are going to be able to be watched by if I were going to be at one buck during all this, I'd be paying very close attention to what Eric Rivers is going to be able to do.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_04]: I like it.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_04]: I like it.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, the big one for me and I I agree with you there river when you were talking about you know ribbon bay and of course We want to see ribbon bay and but you're not really gonna see ribbon bay until probably to be honest with you The exciting part of ribbon bay until what third fourth day of training camp Like we're at the way until July to really get a pure true taste of what ribbon bay is.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_04]: Can you see as get off?
- 8:05[SPEAKER_04]: Can you see the speed without the pads on yeah, that's fine.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_04]: That's great and everything but you want to see how he
- 8:11[SPEAKER_04]: handles alignment.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_04]: You want to see how that battle goes against eventually a get-a-key eventually a Tristan worse.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_04]: You want to see what that potential is going to be like, but you have to have those pads on.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_04]: Ain't going to do anything with T-shirts and shorts on and Todd Bowls.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_04]: We'll tell you that I completely, I have my pros and cons with Bowls, but I am on his side 110%.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_04]: Nothing matters until the pads comes on when we're talking about the trenches.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_04]: So we're not to wait a little bit for moving fame, but it'll be great to see him and see how he rocks that new jersey number with
- 8:38[SPEAKER_04]: To me, I had my 1 and 2 here as Ted Hers, like you just said, Caleb, I want to see kind of wear Zach Robinson's putting him out there out there on the field.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, we know, if we go back to the last rookie mini camp with like Buco, we saw them utilize an him in a lot of different ways and maybe we thought coming into that rookie mini camp, putting him back there in a lot of sweeps and that ended up coming into
- 9:00[SPEAKER_04]: the season here a little bit last year.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm interested where we see, you know, Sagramaton utilizing Ted Hers just seeing his abilities, what he looks like in person, his build structure, the speed, seeing that second gear show off like you see it on the film.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_04]: So you feel like that should be able to happen certainly with that having.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_04]: pads on but Ted Hearst is really appealing to me if I was going to be outside of you guys a little bit more probably quarterbacks is one like I don't know you're mentioning Daniels there as well from Kansas maybe Chandler Morris he's a really well experienced quarterback but
- 9:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, there's a ceiling that you have there with Chandler Morris.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_04]: So you're looking more at Jalen Daniels just like why does this staff really like Jalen Daniels why did they bring him in here for top 30 visit they obviously see see something there and Be great to see we're okay.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_04]: Now we see why and you know, he's able to make it to a training camp and make it and trust him between him and Bayes lack and whatever ends up happening after you know the rookie mini camp.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_04]: So
- 9:56[SPEAKER_04]: I'd say the quarterbacks in Chandler Morris even, I mean, I go back to the, you know, last year when they were forced to take loss of Chandler Morris this guy plays with a lot of grit.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_04]: He is able to sustain drives and that was a rough night for Florida state fans, but he is a
- 10:09[SPEAKER_04]: he's a he's a game guy he will go down and he will go down with the ship and uh... you know this is just a rookie can't it's not a game or anything or scrimmage but still you'd like that kind of mentality of a player coming in it's intriguing to me so i think these are two interesting quarterbacks to watch and uh... daniel is a little bit more but uh... anything else on here do you have any any bonus ones here that y'all might be
- 10:34[SPEAKER_02]: that we might not be thinking on or any undripped for me and I don't know we mentioned him but um you know shower sharks one that you want to kind of show out because I think he's a very raw athletic prospect and to be able to see how he handles proud running how he handles you know quote unquote blocking will be interesting especially given that the high-up side of the him is just how athletic he is so he shows you how much more athletic
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I want to see a kind of two where Trotter is kind of aligned, that would be interesting.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: You know, kind of give you a glimpse into what to expect moving forward throughout the rest of the off season.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: You know, is he going to be, you know, more of a run stopping guy.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think I'm going to use him in that sort of package.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: Are they going to try and see what he's able to do in coverage as well here early on?
- 11:22[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure they'll test it out a little bit of both ways, but you might get a, you know, 60, 40 leaning one way.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe a 70, 30 leaning the other, like you don't really know.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_00]: So it'll be interesting to watch.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: how they line him up, you're not going to get a whole lot of, you know, him hitting anybody or whatever.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: So you're not really getting, you know, the physical aspect of it as, you know, we mentioned before, with the front seven in particular.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_00]: So, but seeing where he's lining up, what is he filling gaps or is he, you know, dropping back into coverage so on and so forth.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: So, those would be like the little tidbit things that, you know, we'll pay attention to as it continues to roll out after this week.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_04]: one one hours and I'll finish off real quick to Montecay Park.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I just keep on hearing about the Montecay Park without a video on our latest videos.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_04]: It was about the Montecay Park here on YouTube and I just keep on seeing maybe it's Clemson fans as well.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_04]: But I think there's just some neutral, you know, just lovers of watching the draft and everything, say, don't sleep on Cape Park.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_04]: Don't sleep on Cape Park, so.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_04]: Let's see what we've got here.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_04]: Let's see what he's got to handle.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_04]: Of course, it's the trenches.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_04]: It's trenches.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_04]: So it's no pads, but I just kind of want to see the build man.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_04]: You know, they wanted to add size and such, but to see it in person gives you a way better feel of what this staff is trying to do.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_04]: So there's some, there's a lot of good storylines going into this camp.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_04]: I'm jealous that you're going to be there, River.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_04]: Now I will say,
- 12:33[SPEAKER_04]: River and I do plan on doing sort of kind of like an instant reaction on that Sunday so it's practice Friday Saturday and then on Sunday around this time will come live on here River and I I'll pick his brain on what he saw he'll give the latest on certainly Ruben Bane Jr. Ted Hearst all the guys we just discussed and any of the guys that flash that might have been undrived free agent or one of these quarterbacks what a Jalen Daniels do will have will have a scoop from River on that on Sunday so make sure you guys are staying tuned for that.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_04]: Now, Edge Jersey, number revealing time.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_04]: The rookies have came, we've got the numbers in, and there's some interesting ones here.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_04]: I think we, of course, start off with first round pick.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_04]: Rubin, Bane, Jr. going single digits.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_04]: Here, I'm going to stay in the single digits by going with number three.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_04]: Instant reaction just first off to Rubin, bang, going number three.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_04]: Do we like it?
- 13:26[SPEAKER_04]: Do we like the feel of that off the edge?
- 13:29[SPEAKER_04]: Or is it just going to have to wait and see until the pads come out really good.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_02]: What up my old man takes is that ever since we let players have whatever number they've wanted.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_02]: It's been chaos in the league in the world everywhere.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_02]: It was a huge mistake.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_02]: We had an orderly system where you can tell which players are which physically.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: Or please system.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_02]: And then all of a sudden because you had number three or four in college.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_02]: now you want to have that no ridiculous ridiculous it's anarchy as well as so you know no I don't like it well I quite frankly I don't but uh you know Vayne had four in college this is closing again I think money McLaughlin's got four a lot of here in Tim Ben so tough to take that one away from him but
- 14:13[SPEAKER_02]: three's pretty close.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_02]: He gets to kind of have a similar number they did when he's playing for the hurricanes.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_02]: He had 52 back in high school.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_02]: That's a real number for a real edge rubber.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_02]: Unfortunately, but we won't be seeing him have that stuff.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_02]: It's okay.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not mad.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not mad.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not mad.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not mad.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's got his guy.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: James wins the old number.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_00]: So if you guys want to do your, you know, history research on who's worn the number three in the past.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_00]: James, once it's probably your most
- 14:42[SPEAKER_00]: up and down.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_02]: I believe Jordan Whitehead was the last one to have a beer in Tampa Bay.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_00]: That's short a little last.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_00]: Right, right.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: And so I mean, Jordan, I had good, but I mean, if you hopefully it's not the up and down, you know, career that that James had while he was here.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's fine.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't look too much in numbers with guys, period.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's always fun for the fans of things, but, you know, as somebody who covers a team, it could mean, you know, really nothing.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_00]: You know, looking at McLaughlin, then not giving up the four McLaughlin's born previous numbers in his career.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not sure what was the hold up or why he was holding on to the four for so long maybe it's because he's been so good in it.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: Ever since becoming a Tampa Bay Book and era and being able to wear that jersey, which is fine, whatever, veins already commented and mentioned that he doesn't care what number he has.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, I just want to go out there and play Paul, which everybody obviously knows at this point because every single national media
- 15:38[SPEAKER_00]: content so has said comment it on on that so yeah it's not not a big deal I mean but I like it.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think that the real look good I'm you know next on the deep deep deep defense bands defense of Lyman
- 15:53[SPEAKER_00]: having big numbers.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: I love a defensive lineman that wears a zero.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_00]: That's something that I just absolutely love.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_00]: But I also like a defensive lineman who wears 99.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_00]: You know, like that's always me.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, it depends on the guy.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, I think Baine is worthy of a of a singed.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_04]: So what you guys zero on the left side with yeah, yeah, and then you've got three on the other side there might not look too bad.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_04]: We're in games.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_04]: I think about that too But yeah, three's not too shabby.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna I feel like it fits his body build well.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_04]: I feel like that's not a bad.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_04]: I like three and eight would fit him well there, but
- 16:29[SPEAKER_04]: Well, we'll ride with it.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a bad number.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_04]: We'll see, but River is our old head on this show and his overall mentality that's how it is.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_04]: And I with you in some of these parts, like when we're talking about linebacker, I love 45 here.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_04]: Of course, now the big one is the storyline.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so just real quick for context.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_04]: Trotter is going to go at 45.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_04]: As we all know, as we saw the incident reactions from people on Twitter, oh my God, it's a Devon light's number.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_04]: Dude, well guess what?
- 16:53[SPEAKER_04]: Devon light want a super ball.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_04]: So I think anybody would be perfectly fine if just say a trotter turns into a super ball winning damn good light.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_02]: I disrespect to Deon Jones.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, man.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_02]: Poor Deon Jones.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_02]: He was the last person to wear that number.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_02]: Damn, we're forgetting hashtag, never forget.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_02]: And those are two SEC line backers, Josiah Shrouder, another SEC line backer coming in where in 45.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_02]: The tradition continues in Tampa Bay.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_02]: It just makes sense, especially, you know, Dan White picked 45 because he wanted the mirror of, uh, a lot of the David 54 who's not here, um, Alex and Zalone will be wearing his number 34 that he's had for quite a bit.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_02]: So it would be 34 and 45, or two, starting line backers in Tampa Bay.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_00]: We get to go back to the get live 45 like that's going to be fun to say.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you can just say that you're allowed to legally.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's not copyrighted or anything.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_00]: So that's cool.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_00]: We got that going for us.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_00]: If anybody's still got, you know, one of the generic 45 jersey without the name on the back.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: Just take that you can keep it or you keep it just pull a you know Cleveland Brown tape and over it right It's a red tape and then the white marker just for odd or yeah All right, we say you're selling a few bucks, you know a little bit of the cheaper hour.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: I mean
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, go ahead and you'll probably make it on, you know, X, you know, somebody's going to take a picture of you for sure.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_00]: But now you've got to know the right, right?
- 18:24[SPEAKER_00]: Now you've got the the the cloud to go with it.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, whatever cool.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_00]: I like it, um, 45, not a bad number.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it fits into anything that he did in the past.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know, really cool.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_00]: So try to build.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_04]: I like built linebackers and 45s.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_04]: I like that.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_04]: I think of these things big arms big body build true linebacker size 45 beautiful for a linebacker.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_04]: So we'll stick with that real quick.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_04]: We'll keep running down these numbers.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_04]: We won't stop on every one of them, but
- 18:54[SPEAKER_04]: uh... serve for negate shout out to you pop it in here showing us some love in the chat he says they still sell deeply discounted heavenwriters on the puck in your shop buy it and you're good to go that's the move that's the way to do it what if you know somebody who does embroidery like just take it to them the way they can rip those numb that you know you can also buy a d on jones jersey for full price and then also do that
- 19:19[SPEAKER_04]: That's still good.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_04]: Well, they got those a good will right.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they're full.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_02]: You could still do that if you wanted to.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_04]: I ain't going over.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not going over 1999 for one of those.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_04]: I hate to tell you.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_04]: Wait.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_04]: We got another comment, K-part.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_04]: So, yes, tomorrow take K-part from Clemson.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_04]: He's going with 90.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_04]: He says that helps us forget about Logan Hall and Trotterware in 45.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_04]: Makes us forget about Devon White.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_04]: That is a win in my book.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_04]: So, maybe that's the,
- 19:44[SPEAKER_04]: Game plan there from Jason Light and the box who knows it could be, but yes, we'll continue here Demontic Cape Heart is going to be where 90 Ted Hearst is going to be wearing number 17 taking Sterling Shepherds.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, don't you sell them to note something to note about Sterling Shepherds?
- 20:03[SPEAKER_02]: Will Sterling Shepherds return to the herd to give you a little name on there
- 20:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I gotta calm down.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_04]: Please calm down.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's really the type of summer.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_02]: So what they were going to do if they were doing whatever I think was one of the more interesting parts kind of the saw season.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_02]: And so far there's been no update on on how that's going, but with hurts in the program and with some other guys as well that they really like some other receivers.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_02]: He might not return.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see what happens.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_02]: No update on that so far, but that'll be as of the books.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, um, I think it signals that is pretty much gone.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I mean, he's too busy out there party in that Coachella and doing whatever, you know, LT's doing in the off season.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so I mean, if I have to turn it, I'm not going to, you know, either retire, but once they're never team, why not your coach.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_04]: You're at Coachella, you're getting your shit snap.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry, I had to post it on the cost of that cost money logo.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_04]: It is just snatching ads.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, um, obviously, I think that's kind of the writing on the wall there when it comes to Ted Hearst and he's a number interesting that he's not going back to one, which is what he wore in Georgia State, but that's because Kenny gain well.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: ended up taking the number one and so I'm dropping off of a 14 that he wore in Pittsburgh because 14 is obviously taken here in Tampa Bay by Chris Godwin.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_00]: So you know kind of how things kind of unfolded there 17 it'll look interesting on on on on my think.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think it might take some adjusting but depending on what happens, I think it might you know switch that up after his rookie year, depending on what becomes available.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's a one so far.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think it's just because of Sterling Shepard's body size and what he was wearing was 17, it's just going to be kind of weird for that body size to adjust to a bigger Tedhurst at 6-3.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_04]: Sterling Shepard is a small dude, but he I agree like that might be it for what we've seen of Sterling Shepard.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_04]: He came in was a really good helpful tool for some of these younger wider series that came in, but they've grown, they've been able to mature, and I think he's done a good job of doing so his production also dipped out of kind of nowhere last year whenever
- 22:13[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think new what to do after a while just to be point blank with you and But still in Shepard was one of his one of Baker's best go to guys and definitely some tough situations So I don't know why we saw the fall out there and also Sterling dealt with a few injuries as well I don't know if that was primarily what happened there, but
- 22:32[SPEAKER_02]: And everybody did, yeah.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, everybody, this everyone got dinged up.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_04]: If you went that locker room, I remember leaving a couple days after, you know, the, like, eights a week and my knees were killing me, so I was just something.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_04]: It's feel like we're in the 49ers practice facility every year, man.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_04]: And it's just, we're near all the, the chemicals and what, really, you shouldn't say.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, electrical, electric, electrical, just real quick that we don't need to do it.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_04]: You know, the Billy Schath, we've got coming from Notre Dame,
- 23:00[SPEAKER_04]: Number here number 75 love it.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_02]: That's four to be four.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so he's one off as well.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_04]: He's one off there and then of course sharp Come in and he is going to be wearing 84.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_04]: That's a nice.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_04]: I like that for him a little agile Wow, that's a Cameron Breit.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's human.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and then of course Tanner Tallah
- 23:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I guess not even though man he would make some snags in training camp I like that damn it's always in the right it was always in the corner though Remember those like it just be always there.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_04]: He'd use a swing thing He'd come down with it, but that was really better than it was very up and down camp But he'd make some flash plays for you
- 23:41[SPEAKER_04]: Let's not take a question here.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_04]: We've got a lot of comments.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_04]: We appreciate y'all hopping in here.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_04]: This is from Alec asking Do you guys think Ruin Bay and Junior will play more edge or defensive tackle?
- 23:50[SPEAKER_04]: A lot of scouts had him as an elite defensive tackle prospect But just a good edge prospect.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_04]: I disagree.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_04]: I think he will be an elite edge I think the book in here is a little play him edge as well.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_02]: He is a little bit bigger
- 24:05[SPEAKER_02]: As for some some edges, but he's kind of in that tweeter spot.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_02]: And he can also move around the line, which titles will love to have him do.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_02]: He loves mixing people up, different fronts, trying to get you trickling stunts and what not.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_02]: So I do think they will have room bay in there at edge.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_02]: I do
- 24:23[SPEAKER_02]: They've got some other guys in between that they can work with K-Parts, very athletic.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_02]: They'll have Asha Robbins in there.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_02]: They'll have players like that, like Elijah Roberts who can kind of play those tweeter positions to at DE in a 34.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_02]: I think with all that at mind, Bane will be an edge in Tampa Bay.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_02]: He'll line up alongside the idea of being the opposite side.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_02]: And they will just point into them.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yep, perfect explanation there.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_00]: By River, that's why we're the experts.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_00]: So we can't.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_04]: That's right.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_04]: for a river but yeah now I agree there and yeah he's got the ability if need be just depends on being taught bowls moves some pieces around it just your specialty your your best product right there what thing gives you is on that outside edge position and that's where he absolutely dominated throughout the college football play us me he did well until you got fully back recovered from his injury
- 25:13[SPEAKER_04]: and the regular season, but then when it got going and he felt comfortable again, I mean, he told us that, hey, you know, it took about getting to the postseason that things started to really ramp up for him and he felt like things were getting, I mean, certainly when other teams are talking shit about you and the team is the other team you're opposing teams says are not worried about you.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_04]: Then for a guy that that, he just engages even more off of his
- 25:41[SPEAKER_04]: and he's about to get drafted.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_04]: That's just not a good idea.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_04]: Not a good idea from Texas A&M over there, but an Aggie station or college station, whatever the hell it is.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_04]: College station.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_04]: College station.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_04]: I have been to.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_04]: It's about nothing else, but that's stadium.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_04]: That's about all you got.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_02]: To quote the great Jose Moreno, if I speak, I'm in big trouble.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_02]: So, that's all I'll say about college station.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, so keep it.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_04]: keep it there.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_04]: But all right, so that's good stuff there.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_04]: Let's keep moving on gentlemen.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_04]: So there's been a lot of talk I would say this off season about Baker Mayfield.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_04]: What are they going to do?
- 26:19[SPEAKER_04]: What is a future look like for him and his contract?
- 26:22[SPEAKER_04]: Because it's getting close, you know, they could do something before the season or you're going to wait for Baker May for to play this year.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_04]: You know, how is that?
- 26:30[SPEAKER_04]: Where were they at?
- 26:30[SPEAKER_04]: Where is Jason Lyme,
- 26:33[SPEAKER_04]: an anonymous NFL executive told fan cited Jason Locke and for a that if the buck in years if he were the buck in years he'd try to make may fields contract similar to that of Super Bowl winning Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold so of course we've seen the
- 26:53[SPEAKER_04]: comparisons between Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnall a lot of course Darnall just ended up winning a super ball.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_04]: So of course it's a little bit different now, but still nonetheless still getting that second shot like Baker's getting here another shot and Tampa Bay not a second shot.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_04]: But you know what I mean, just getting another big time shot to be a starter and winning that job and then excelling added just like Sam Darnall has done.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_04]: They're in that same similar spots.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_04]: So this is the exact quote that the anonymous and a fellow executive said.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_02]: So I tried to lock in for a yes.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yep.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_04]: I try to get a short-term deal.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_04]: Structures like what Seattle did with Sam Darnl.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_04]: I think there are some similarities with the players.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_04]: You worry about the interceptions.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_04]: Can they get you over the top?
- 27:37[SPEAKER_04]: It's not totally similar and Donald was on the market and this is an extension.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_04]: That's the structure I would be looking at.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_04]: So that's sort of the,
- 27:46[SPEAKER_04]: tier that should be putting there.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_04]: I'm interested to see what you guys both feel on this because I think all of us on here, this is a really big season with once again, a new offensive coordinator.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_04]: You lost your top guy with Mike Evans.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_04]: There's a lot of moving parts there and what this offense is going to be doing.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_04]: And you're also, Baker, I did not have a good year last year.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_04]: That was an ugly season from him after having his career, the your prior.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_04]: So where are your mental that with Baker right now?
- 28:12[SPEAKER_04]: And also to do your degree with this take.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, if you look at Donald's contract three year, $100 million, $33.5 A.V.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_00]: You know, that's after a Super Bowl win with Seattle.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: So that's very interesting to note that it's really, it seems kind of loaded me.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_00]: And then when, like I think a lot of the talk has been, you know, a bigger center on that 50, maybe even north of 50.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're looking at it and you're, you know, comparing apples or oranges here, you know, Baker's value is very north right now of where Sam Darn, or what contract Sam Darn was able to get this off season.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're very similar quarterbacks.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think Baker does a little bit more, you know, with his feet.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_00]: He's got a little bit more of the intangibles more so that then Darnal has.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_00]: But he's also got more weapons now, you know, or more weapons than Darnal has over there in Seattle.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's, I don't know, I mean, it depends, you know how the contract situation goes, it changes from year to year, it, you know, inflation, it usually inflates year to year as, you know, other quarterbacks, high-end quarterbacks in particular, start getting their contracts that reset the market, whatever it may be.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_00]: So you're starting to see, you know, contracts that are insane when it comes to quarterbacks.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Baker had a down year last year, but the year before that, he had a great year under Liam Cohen's tutelage.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 29:33[SPEAKER_00]: It kind of depends.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he's in a contract here.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: He really needs, you know, it's ever foreign.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's to be able to earn this contract.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_00]: But listen, Jason, like speak and go on his kind of tour throughout all these other national media's, you know, shows and things that not.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_00]: He loves Baker.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody within the building loves Baker.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_00]: It seems like they're going to get something done no matter what happens this season.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_00]: You got to realize too that Baker did with a lot of injuries last year that he played through, which kind of prohibited him from being able to do some of the things that we were used to in 2024.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: So you have to take that into account.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_00]: But at the same time, I think no matter what happens this season, both sides are going to be in an agreement to, hey, we want to make something work.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_00]: So it's kind of just meeting the middle
- 30:16[SPEAKER_00]: and we'll get this thing done, and maybe you see a little bit of it being in sense of heavy, which I could see you know, it being that case.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_02]: Something I'm going to note about Sam Donald's contract is that it's technically a three year, a hundred and five, one hundred point five million dollar contract, really with the way that it's structured, he's a potential out in 2027.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_02]: really a two year 70 million dollar deal, which would put him at 45 million a year, which is closer to kind of what we're talking about, but I agree with you, Caleb, Baker's going to work with 50.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_02]: So I think to want.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_02]: him design a deal similar to Donald in that range is a little wishful thinking, especially if you look at the quarterback contract we have here average for year, if you why, he's going to be in that Jared Goff, Brock Perty range, they're both making 53 million dollars per year.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's going to want to at least strike above that and perhaps below people like Joe Burrow, Josh Allen at 55 Jordan love 55 Trevor Lawrence is that $25 million a year by the way.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_00]: Just hmm.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_02]: Of course.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_02]: Jack Prescott.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, River.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_00]: River.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_00]: Those are generational talents.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: That's true.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_02]: I like that a lot more than most for Cresca is that 60 million for a year as it stands.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_02]: So I think he's going to punch above Zaron's weight.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_02]: That's inevitable.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_02]: I have talked a lot about this about Bakers contract when to do it when not to do it.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_02]: I think, you know, waiting will be the best of the book in the years.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_02]: Not the best for Mayfield, especially after the back half of the year he had last year, but I think the reality is.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_02]: they're going to get a deal done.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to happen this off season.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_02]: You will see Baker may feel extended with the buck and years up before too long.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_02]: And I think it's going to be north of $50 million.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_04]: This is from our guy Renegade on here.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_04]: saying Baker played way more hurt last year than what was reported if you go back and look at the injury reports from every week last year he had over 10 injuries not having an O line messed him up and I was going to bring that up to the offensive line those injuries did not help him at all either it was a lot of things that was going to not help Baker made for the injuries didn't help.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_04]: I am very high that I was not high on.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_04]: Grasard, but I'm high that he did not know what was happening in the middle part of the season.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_04]: That's part of it.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_02]: I think there are plenty of problems bigger.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_02]: Mayfield still has that are there a reason to be concerned with the amounts that actually takes holding onto the ball, interceptions towards the back of the year.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_02]: those are all things you got to kind of watch out for fumbles, particularly third down throws where we're just trying to make something happen where it doesn't need to happen certainly in red zone like I think we have understood how to use Baker may feel what I think Josh is hard wanting to go a lot more vertical and that is not Baker may feel it's game one of the strongest arms in the NFL, but I think it has trouble.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_02]: go and where it wants to go.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_02]: So I think kind of dialing him into where you could use him in the similar way that Liam Coen did is the key to unlocking a field and Robinson is best friends with Liam Coen.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_02]: So maybe he'll get a few tips on that French we'll see.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean there's
- 33:30[SPEAKER_00]: a conglomerate of things that have gone into, you know, Baker in his 2025 season, right?
- 33:36[SPEAKER_00]: And I think a lot of it he felt he was feeling depression, right?
- 33:39[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, I have to carry this team right now because like my offensive coordinator is not helping me at all.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_00]: My offensive line is banged up the whole season.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'm missing my right guard all year.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_00]: My left tack was been out for games.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_00]: My right tack was been out for games.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_00]: Ben Brettison missed about, you know, a quarter of the season.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_00]: So it's my rookie wide receiver as my starting wide receiver one for about half a year.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_00]: So it's it's like in the same like right like so many things so many rocks were being thrown at Baker making for him to have to try and dodge that you can't dodge all of them And then all of a sudden he's getting pelted with rocks, right?
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's like as a kid and we're throwing rocks at each other.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no kidding Like that's exactly what happened and then when Baker's putting the pressure on himself
- 34:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he performs well under pressure right like he whenever you know things are starting to collapse on them, he's able to like get out through these things or you know lake games, whatever, but when you're having everything put on your shoulders like literally everything and you're trying to overcompensate by doing things that you normally wouldn't more taking chances that you know you're not supposed to be taking.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to have, you know, not the greatest of outcomes from that.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_00]: And that's just kind of how it rolls.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_00]: Like if any of us in our jobs, but we were having to pick up like 10 different jobs that we have to do while maintaining what we're supposed to do in the giga is not going to end well, right.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_00]: We're not going to get in good reviews that we that we need or that, you know, we need to keep moving forward instead it's kind of pulling us back into a place that we don't need to be.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_00]: So I think a lot of that was on.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_00]: like external factors for him right like a lot of things that he could not control but there were things that he could control and that he has to work on this offseason and he he probably understands that so I'm still confident in what he's going to be able to bring to the team this upcoming season yeah yes I think you're going to see a nice bounce back from Baker as well and we'll see what Jason Lion what they want to do with his contract let me get through a couple of these comments in here because I've seen your comments talking bucks appreciate you coming in here you saw you reposted our stream as well so shout out to you
- 35:38[SPEAKER_04]: He's asking, or she, are you guys high on to bond take K-part?
- 35:43[SPEAKER_04]: I wonder why Davos swanies said two good things about him, but only started him at 12 times in six years.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_02]: Starting's a little weird when it comes to defensive linemen because they rotate in and out, right?
- 35:57[SPEAKER_02]: So, K-part didn't start on a line per se, but he had some play.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_02]: But the thing about K-part is just his athletic potential on the book and years really like the draft.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_02]: to the absolute highest athletic potential, his RIS score out there for the last score, crazy off the charts, really, really, really strong guy who can just explain that just for if they don't know for the people that are.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, what that RIS score, yeah, so I forget exactly.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_02]: Because the bucks ranked really high on this.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, but it is a formula that measures everything at the combine those type of drills and your measurements, how you doing the 40 the three cone, your 40 our dash 20 yard split 10 yards split all that and kind of averages you out amongst every prospect that has had those numbers.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_02]: I think their database goes like in 1987, but out of a room, low from one to ten, right?
- 36:52[SPEAKER_02]: So zero, bad, 10 among the most athletic players that have ever been, you know, gone to the ground in your position.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_02]: So it walks in a lot of guys like that, 10 hurts the 9.9, I think, because of the height combination, six, four, everybody ran a four, four, two, so stuff like that, right?
- 37:11[SPEAKER_00]: Um, demonic outliers, right, like guys who are seen as the outliers within their class based on their measure events are based on their testing.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_00]: So that's right.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_02]: So Demonic A part is a 9.96, RIS, which means, you know, as far as how you are built and comparison to other players trapped at your position, he is one of the most athletic DTs we've seen in a long time.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_02]: Now every year, guys, this keeps happening because players are getting stronger, players are getting faster,
- 37:40[SPEAKER_02]: It's bigger that that's how it goes, but it just goes through at the box and really put a lot of emphasis on this upward potential and I think about K-Fart is how letting you get as strong as we can mold him into a really strong player with his technique and the way he plays the game, the upsides tremendous this so as a right now is a rotational Russia kind of same as he was a Clemson.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_02]: And that you can never have too many of those in the trenches, right?
- 38:04[SPEAKER_02]: So overall, I think it's a solid pick.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it works out, it works out.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't, there's not too much loss, especially, you know, going into the fifth round like he did.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_02]: So I like the potential.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_02]: I like what he can do.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_02]: He needs a lot of work with technique.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_02]: He needs a lot of work with his counter moves, but really strong bull rush can bully a lot of people.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_02]: And he'll try and do his best to do that during training camp.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_00]: And you got to think about it too when you look at Clebson and the history and we'll go recent history under Davos.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_00]: We need they have always had depth.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_00]: They've always had top-level talent at defense or tackle.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's always been that way and what makes you think it's going to change.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they had two more guys there on the defensive, you know, on the defensive line that can play inside as well.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_00]: TJ Parker obviously kind of in which move as well.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_00]: So I mean, when you got
- 38:53[SPEAKER_00]: depth and talent in an area like that.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of hard to find, so, you know, regular snaps for somebody when you've got that right, you're going on, right?
- 39:01[SPEAKER_00]: So being able to find him in situational, you know, aspects of the game, whenever things are happening within a game or based on matchup depending on who you're playing, are you playing a more run heavy team or you playing a team that likes to throw the ball, right?
- 39:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like you're in the ACC, a lot of those teams probably are throwing the ball around as much as they possibly can because it is the ACC.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_00]: When you're looking at K-PART, he's kind of a run-stuffer.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_00]: He's kind of clogged up the holes, kind of a VivaVa.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_00]: I take on two defenders at once, type of player, but he is disruptive.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_00]: And he's at what it can have to be able to slip and get into gaps and things of that nature.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, I think that's kind of it.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_00]: It was more of a rotation because of the depth there, and then what they were able to do based on matchup and situations.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think that you are bringing up phenomenal points.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, us covering for the state, Caleb Beer, and allow me to watch all the games as well.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_04]: You face Clemson every single year.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_04]: And what is the always the issue of Clemson?
- 39:54[SPEAKER_04]: It is in the trenches, and it's certainly on the defensive line.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_04]: Davos, we need to as a phenomenal job of bringing in talent but also to developing it.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_04]: So it is just revolving door at every time you're going to play Clemson.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be annoying as flying F to face off against that defensive line.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_04]: So it's hard to get out there on the field.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_04]: But Davos, Swini, probably would have loved to have more.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_04]: Having out there more, but it just depends too like you said on.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_04]: the teams that you're facing and such and also bring up Aishan Robinson Robinson coming in.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_04]: That's I think going to be a great mentor for a guy like him.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_04]: Who's in that same type of bill that's going to be doing the sort of those same kind of tactics.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_04]: He's not like in the comments here.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_04]: I see Rina Gates saying about a lot of Roberts.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_04]: A lot of Roberts, more of that nifty pass rush guy as your defensive line.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_04]: And like how a Logan Hall was for you and better in that game.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_04]: The hall is more of a hybrid guy, but like Robert's a way more faster and twitchier guy as a defensive on a like a collage of canceas and his aspects.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, there's a lot to like and he's more going to be kind of your run stuff and big boy.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_04]: I can't wait to see both him and Vita Veya next to one of each other and Robinson as well.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_04]: And Roche as like it's going to be a loud training camp again, but I am so effing stoked for like this is
- 41:09[SPEAKER_04]: We will I will have my chair ready to go.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_04]: I will be fully ready to rock as much video as we're able to take.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_04]: I will have it for you in the trenches.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_04]: We had some battles with Cody Malk and the who who came in town last year wasn't a dolphins.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, uh, who was it last year?
- 41:27[SPEAKER_04]: How am I forgetting who came in last year?
- 41:30[SPEAKER_04]: It really happens with what two years ago in Colitis Campbell was just a giant of a man.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_04]: Oh my god, yeah, giant, um, how am I missing who had co-training camp?
- 41:39[SPEAKER_04]: Do you remember that river who who came in?
- 41:41[SPEAKER_04]: And we, I literally remember the fight that Cody Malk had.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm, um,
- 41:46[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Jeffrey Simmons.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_04]: That's right.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_04]: There you go.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_04]: I do kind of slip out of my mind about the Tennessee Times.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sorry.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_04]: They're just, I don't know about anybody.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_04]: Elton here.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_04]: Anybody in the chat or listeners.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_04]: Tennessee Times.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_04]: I don't give a line of about.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_04]: I'm a given for an F. Not them for like five plus years, six, seven years.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, you know, I'm sorry.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sorry.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry.
- 42:12[UNKNOWN]: Sorry.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry, Miami hurricane fans are your quarterback.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I would chance came word, maybe he's good quarterback.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_02]: With Carnal tape, you know what I'm saying?
- 42:22[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, we'll see, maybe they loaded up for them and stuff.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_04]: But let's keep moving on here, guys.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_04]: So I thought this was a pretty fun one.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_04]: We put out an article on this not too long ago.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_04]: And this was regarding Rob Grant, Kowski having a really bold take.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_04]: And these two will have a better take on it than I will because this came before Bucks Game Day got on site and Tampa and started covering the team.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_04]: is his win at the bucks won their Super Bowl and he was just recently on a podcast called fourth in South that is hosted by Jarvis Landry and also two former buck and years
- 43:04[SPEAKER_04]: He had to pick, you know, which team was the most talented on throughout his career, the Patriots in the box, which team that he had ever been on was the most talented and he said, oh man, the 2020 box.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_04]: I would say, skill-wise, I think that team was probably the best skill set team I've ever been on throughout my career on that team.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_04]: Like on the bus, I mean, we had everyone do.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_04]: We had Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown,
- 43:33[SPEAKER_04]: Cambrate and then our running back running Ronald Jones our other running back Ronald Jones.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_04]: That's what he had to say.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_04]: He did not pick any of the New England Patriots teams, which there are some damn good teams.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_04]: Now, talent wise.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_04]: I think he I think Gronk has a perfect point here.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_04]: I mean Jason like what they did and I think it's unquested up.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, better not any Patriotic team to outwise.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_02]: That's one of the best teams to ever play football.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_02]: I think quite frankly, I love that ESPN's, uh,
- 44:09[SPEAKER_02]: Super Bowl ranking lists after this last one in the hands of 22nd, best of all champion ever, which that sounds quote unquote low, but that's like an upper half Super Bowl champion like one of the best teams are probably football.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_02]: I think I'm yeah, absolutely.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_02]: That talent was crazy slow going really slow going, but once they hit that by week off seven and five absolutely crazy, they actually would have been number one.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_02]: in total DVOA for that season had they not gotten thrashed by the Saints 30 to 3 on son of net football.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_02]: They were I think third or fourth overall, but incredibly talented team received in court was nuts.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_02]: I think if you look at there's an episode of in the heights with a new heights or whatever you call it with Travis Kelsey and Jason Kelsey.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_02]: And Travis said, you know, that's the best football team I've ever played and I think there's a good argument that that's the case that they're just unbelievably talented at every juncture, facet and Was it click?
- 45:09[SPEAKER_02]: There's no sobbing
- 45:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, it's it's it's hard to deny the dynasty, you know, like it's the dynasty, right?
- 45:17[SPEAKER_00]: Like you're you're talking very few in bar between when those things come around.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_00]: So like it's it's on that side of the nighable, but when you look at just like on a team by team bases, there is no way the talent level is just unreal.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_00]: And I mean, if you really wanted to put it in the perspective, there's eight whole of favors on that 2020 bucks team.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_00]: You're talking Brady.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_00]: You're talking grunk.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_00]: You're talking Mike Evans.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_00]: You're talking
- 45:40[SPEAKER_00]: Tristan works, probably, if you've made it down the road, you're talking about A.B.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_00]: who should be in the Hall of Fame, despite all of his off-field issues, and Dominicans who J.P.P.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_00]: Levantay David.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you can't match up with anybody.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's just impossible, no matter who you put on the field, you're not going to be able to match up with them at all.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_00]: And that's why they were so dominant when it came to the playoffs.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's a new season whenever you get to the postseason, and the buck
- 46:10[SPEAKER_00]: pretty much emosi their way through the whole thing with their toughest game being against frickin tailor-hionic and the Washington Commanders, right?
- 46:17[SPEAKER_00]: I think that was, was that who it was who gave them a kind of a scare in the first round?
- 46:21[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_00]: And so like that was your toughest game, like that's crazy and that's just because like Taylor-hionic was,
- 46:27[SPEAKER_00]: doing some crazy stuff.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_02]: You know, they also had Brady for three picks in the second half of that Game Bay Packers game and in fact, I honestly think the Packers probably win that game if they don't randomly kick a field goal.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's what that takes, right?
- 46:47[SPEAKER_02]: It takes a combination of being an excellent team and getting those bright soy waats.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_02]: It's hard to win a Super Bowl.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_02]: And people don't understand how good some teams are when they watch them.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_02]: I think to put this in perspective, we're going by DBO, a Super Bowl champions, the 2025 C-Hawks last year are the third best football team by DBO ever.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_02]: And they were excellent, right?
- 47:09[SPEAKER_02]: You know, probably wouldn't think, oh, that's the third best football team ever, but special teams matters, defense matters, offense matters, and we're going to solve those.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_02]: if you look at Seattle like last year they were just so fundamentally sound like it was like everywhere every position he was technical is fundamental never made mistakes like always did the right thing like that was a lot of special teams you want to know how much federal teams matter that's fucking yours man how much federal teams matters what happened last year so no I think my talent perspective 100% and then once they got over that rock he sort of started at seven five and twenty twenty I mean they didn't lose again
- 47:44[SPEAKER_02]: And there's a good reason for that that all that talent needed it was to get a chemistry and click and there was no stopping them and sure enough There was no stopping you know domination absolutely domination.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_04]: It was a fun team to watch for sure And I'm a personally Steelers fan so I was against a not a big fan of Tom Brady until he got here and got to know him just for a year when our first year of covering the box So things changed in of course, but it's just because he ruined every time
- 48:12[SPEAKER_04]: of my AFC championships to go to a server.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_04]: So that's why I don't like I'm just a little shit head, but that's the reason why I want to get to a server but Tom Brady's still there.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_04]: So.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_04]: but yeah, hey, real quick, before we move on to the next topic, we got 30 of y'all here on YouTube.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_04]: We're trying to get the 25 likes.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_04]: We appreciate y'all hanging out with us this afternoon on a beautiful Wednesday, but if you want to mind, smack that like button if you are enjoying the content.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely, just smash it, don't break your phone or if you're watching on your TV right now.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of y'all here.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_02]: Take your phone, break your TV.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_02]: Break the TV.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_02]: If you don't have the like button, it's smash.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_04]: Whatever way to hit that like button, just break whatever you have, please.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_00]: Revers got a sponsorship with team news.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_04]: So he's got you guys His code is at Wells 20.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_02]: We're not.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_04]: So you want to be Throw in the sponsorship.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_04]: Shout this price fix.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_04]: We'll get to them in just a minute too as well, but
- 49:07[SPEAKER_04]: Just though that up there, I know y'all are already showing a lot of love, but trying to get to that 25, we would definitely appreciate it.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_04]: I thought this was a pretty funny thing to bring up real quick from Renegade saying, who starts the first fight in training camp?
- 49:19[SPEAKER_04]: Is it Robinson, Dane, Malk, or Getiki?
- 49:23[SPEAKER_04]: I personally, I had some time to think on it, because I just love these kind of things that training camp.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be shit talking.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be Robinson, main reason why is because it's a new team.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_04]: He's coming in.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_04]: He wants to show his new team.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_04]: He's teammates.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_04]: So he wants to come in he's gonna be chirping another guys gonna be chirping and usually when it's the first couple of reps That's when you first get your fight then things settle down and I think Robinson will jump in there pretty early as well And he's just a chirping and I think he's just gonna try to set the tone but like I'm about that action here Definitely
- 49:55[SPEAKER_00]: definitely between him or Gideki.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_00]: I know Luke likes to get into it during camp.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_00]: He kind of set the tone on the off of the side of the ball, because Tristan's not really that type of guy, right?
- 50:06[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Jensen used to be the dude who used to do that back in a day.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_00]: So Luke's kind of taking that on, Cody Malks kind of done it a little bit too.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, like last year, you're getting
- 50:19[SPEAKER_00]: I would, I would not do that, but you know, for a boy, I'm not trying to get into it with different humans, but it would be a lot of other up for me.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_00]: But he was willing to do so.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_00]: So like, you know, that often that right side of the offensive line is your is your main side.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_00]: So it'll be interesting to see, but if I had to guess, I'll go either either Luger, A Sean for sure.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_04]: I see.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_04]: I've got.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_04]: Hold on, I've got the video here.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_04]: Do you have anybody that you think is going to fight her river?
- 50:47[SPEAKER_02]: I know this isn't your go-to thing like it is for me, but um, you know, you got a feeling Asian Robbins is a good candidate, obviously top bulls would hope that nobody fights, but usually how it happens in training camps.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see how it goes.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this was this was more consistent.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and it's looking like, and now this is a confirmed guy.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_02]: And this is up to the NFL and plans could change.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_02]: So not definitive.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's looking like it'll be bucks Jaguars this year.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I'm trying again.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_00]: So money on money on top bulls then money on top bulls.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_00]: You're one Dodd-Tonverse.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, we're getting some on-person Liam.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_02]: I think they'll probably come here because the books went there.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_02]: Last time either way.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_02]: We'll be there.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah, we'll be on site.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_04]: Rivers on site for this.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_04]: He's on site.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_02]: He's already glad.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_02]: I am ready if anyone looks at him.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_02]: My heavens almost ran me over last last camp.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I'm sure.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_02]: God.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_04]: You should have stood on business.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_04]: You're like what?
- 51:56[SPEAKER_02]: I jumped out of the way pretty quick.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_02]: That people next to me were Bucks cameraman.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_02]: They were like, that's impressive.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_02]: You know?
- 52:03[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, wow, I got out of there, but sometimes guys when you're in training camp and you're in your filming and they're doing receiver drills and they had an out route, they're coming right towards us.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I'm not sure if you can see the leaves.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_02]: Shout out to Mike for not.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_02]: He probably would have instantly killed me.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking to him.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I caught a fall from track cow chat.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_02]: You did, you did.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_02]: I did.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_04]: I remember that.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_04]: I remember that.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yep, I am.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_04]: I got him already ready.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_04]: We're getting close.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not ready fully for football season.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but training can there's just something about it, man.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_04]: I love it's early in the morning.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_02]: It's just so hot and it's hot and some other.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_02]: And you're just looking at like the the indoor facility and you're like, well, I'm really staring at it and they may be practicing there once.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_02]: I always wanted to watch football, you know, incredibly blessed to be able to do that.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_04]: So it'll be fun.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_04]: I'm ready.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_04]: Talking bucks is saying here, guys, if you don't hit the like button, top bowls of sign in a five-year extension.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_04]: So there's that, there's that Boria River, no comment.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_04]: You don't need to comment on that.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_04]: We're just bringing that up here.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_04]: It's freedom of speech here in America.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_04]: Freedom of speech, but none of the last back-to-like button.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_04]: I think we're getting close to 25.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_04]: We got two topics left
- 53:25[SPEAKER_04]: Now, there was a couple of things that came out before the NFL draft.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_04]: Let's start off with number one.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_04]: The bucks did indeed look into an NFC edge Russia before drafting Ruben Bane.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_04]: Junior, this was from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler and a report where he talked about the bucks and a pursuit.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_04]: of Minnesota Eddresher Jonathan Grinard this happened.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, there you go.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I did not say yes.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_04]: I did not say yes and and fandom of that.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_04]: I did not say that.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_04]: I was just more of an agreement of that's the player that we are indeed.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_04]: talking about here.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_04]: Let's just make sure that's straight out there.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_04]: My dad will kill me.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_04]: But anyways, they were going to really, they were looking into this tightly and tool.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, wait, Ruben Bay and Junior is following them.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_04]: Are you kidding me?
- 54:11[SPEAKER_04]: This is actually going to happen.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_04]: But this is what Jeremy Fowler had to say.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_04]: He said Tampa had to essentially scour the earth for pass rush help before landing Ruben Bay and Junior in the first round.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_04]: The bucks explored signing tray Hendrickson in free agency.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_04]: They looked into the trade market including Jonathan Grinard The Vikings past Russia who was traded to Philadelphia this weekend.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously talking about You know the timetable on this we're a little bit late on this topic, but back near the NFL draft time So Jonathan Grinara interesting name there.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think that we have you know not that we want to know and but You know what we're Grinard be if you're gonna go here
- 54:52[SPEAKER_04]: roommate junior organard where you where you're standing out there.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_02]: I would probably go page junior organards very good.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_02]: He has been hurt.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_02]: I think the past two seasons.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_02]: Not for the just things.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_02]: So that's something to consider, but huge production when he's been held the last two seasons even healthy.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_02]: The thing about Granard is that he would have cost quite a bit of money to land.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_02]: The Eagles got him at I think four years hundred million fifty guaranteed.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_02]: So you're paying about twenty five million dollars a year for
- 55:20[SPEAKER_02]: Junior.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_02]: That's the first initial huge plus there.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_02]: So, and that would have gone for other guys.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_02]: I know there was people talking about high Smith and her big from Pittsburgh.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_02]: You would have had to do the same thing.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_02]: You would have had to pay them a decent amount of money to get in the content of a bay.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_02]: You've already made all your free agencies on names, guys.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_02]: Look out, I'm saying, it's a low name, a Trump Robinson kind of game.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_02]: Well, already brought them all in there.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_02]: You have your draft.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_02]: It's a thing about on top of that as well.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_02]: then it starts to add up, right?
- 55:46[SPEAKER_02]: So I think with Bane, you had a lot of really high upside.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_02]: Bane's also a very good underrated run defender too.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_02]: And I'll talk about trade Hendrix in a minute, but that's a guy who's not quite as good at that.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_02]: So the potential in the NFL is a lot better than gambling on something like that, which is where a older player who gets hurt, that's where Grinart is, that's also where Henry Smith is.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_00]: period.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_00]: That's the easy decision in my in my books.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_00]: I think if they were to gotten them way lower than what the Eagles are able to get them for, I call, but I think they've kind of learned their lesson.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm being able to bring in these you know aging veterans over the past couple of years.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's so
- 56:32[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it worked out on your favorite obviously with base sliding of 15, but, you know, that you think they were still okay with, you know, if they were to get a key measure or their at 15 too, that's still kind of a better option there than Jonathan Grinard, who's kind of at the later stages of career.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, be it productive, whatever he is healthy in the game, but, yeah, you're kind of going to want to get the most ever young guys capitalized on that talent.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_00]: You want to get younger on both sides of the ball, a little bit more aggressive, a little bit more
- 57:02[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yes.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_00]: We on the field to be able to do so.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_00]: So, uh, I like it.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_00]: I would go bang there, too.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_04]: You just got lucky, man.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_04]: Just fell right under your lap, man.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what the gods did, but they blessed.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if I were to talk about sports gods because I'm over sports gods because, uh, we'll talk about the lighting.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about the lighting and I'm just tired of it.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I talk about sports gods anymore.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_00]: That's fair.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_04]: I don't even know if I believe in a sports god.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm late here.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_04]: Definitely when we're talking about Florida State football.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_02]: But because of the four state, they certainly answered my prayers.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, hey, now games will need so much better there.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, yeah, it's just not as bad as it is.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_04]: And Dallas has yet the moment.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_04]: But if any of you, FSU fans do us a thing, go check out here the spear.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_04]: We have a show tonight later tonight.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_04]: And if you want to just hear honest thoughts on things and you're not just going to wrap your brain around that things are going to be OK. And everything's going to be fine.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_04]: When if you want real thoughts and you're going to get real thoughts again tonight.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_04]: But anyways, let's keep moving over here.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_04]: So the next topic our last one actually before we do that.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_04]: I need to go ahead and we need to go ahead and make some picks.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_04]: Don't we?
- 58:16[SPEAKER_04]: We need to make some picks.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_04]: We need to make some picks.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_04]: About to go to our prize picks.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_04]: No, we cannot.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_04]: I just had it up on the screen.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_04]: But Streamyard is a different animal today.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_04]: But here we go.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_04]: We got to make some prize picks.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_04]: Shout to prize picks if you guys haven't yet.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_04]: If you're a new user, you can play five and get $50 back instantly in your lineups and use code HMA.

- 58:42[SPEAKER_04]: I'll instantly take you there and you'll get that HMA code.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_04]: Embedded when you submit, but it's time to make some quick picks here.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_04]: We got the NBA playoffs happening.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_04]: And we won't bring up any NHL hockey, as Caleb said, because we got to erase that from a mind hockey season.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_04]: It's officially over in Tampa for us.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_04]: And we're going to do some NBA and NBA's actually been doing pretty well for us on here the spear.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm already looking at Paul George's three points made here and this looks like lock city for me.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, two and a half I mean, they're just kind of given it to you.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's what I love to you.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_04]: You see this little fire button.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_04]: It's hard to see right here, but it's got 53.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_04]: 0.7,000 people have put their, their mowers on this.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_04]: So why not ride in the momentum right way.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they're going to need them too.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, if they're going to want to keep them with the next that all like the Paul George and he's been playing extremely well.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_00]: So I like it.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_04]: Dude, Max C has been an absolute beast too, for Philly.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_04]: They want 26 and a half.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_04]: They not have a pretty game that Nick's are hot right now.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_04]: That's what stuff could tremble in the 21 and a half.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a 21.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe they're better.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_04]: Let's look.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_04]: See what else we have.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_04]: Wendy blocks.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_00]: Wendy blocks.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, where's that at?
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_04]: Let's go.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_04]: See if we can go.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_04]: Come on.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_04]: I can't swipe on the, uh, a nice search blocks or let me just go to Wendy.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_04]: Spurs.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, there we go.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_04]: There it is.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_04]: What do we got?
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_04]: Where are?
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_04]: Where is our blocks?
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_04]: Make sure I didn't miss it.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_04]: Offends a rebound defense rebounds.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_04]: Where are you at?
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_04]: Stay, there's no way they don't have it on here, right?
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_04]: Wait, blocks and steals.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_02]: Box, plus, plus.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_04]: Block shots.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_04]: There it is.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_04]: Block shots.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_04]: Oh my goodness gracious, he had 12 against minutes.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_02]: So do we gotta go we gotta go up We gotta go up.
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_04]: You want to go you want to go you want to go you want to go the barber shop and go a little heavier four and a half I say yeah, I'm going to do all right He had 12 oh yeah, yeah, let's go.
- 1:00:56[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's good four and a half.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_04]: Let's increase Why not right
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_04]: Let's see, all right, let's get one more in here, gentlemen.
- 1:01:04[SPEAKER_04]: We'll get out of Wimbee and we'll go into another one here.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what, I don't know what
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_03]: Oops, oops, all right, but we're getting there.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_04]: go to his points for two and a half.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_04]: Fourteen and a half is not shabby man for points like hell.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_02]: I said go over, you know, it's definitely given he had 18, you know, off the bench.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_02]: So I think we go over if he can get a bigger role in it.
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_04]: And it's at home, too.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_04]: He's a guy that likes to get the momentum go in the crowd.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's a sentence.
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's in San Antonio.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, it's in San Antonio.
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_00]: They just stole game one.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_04]: So,
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm sorry.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_00]: I like that.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_04]: I like that.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_04]: I like 14.5 there.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_04]: We'll ride with that.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_04]: We've got a 20% boost shot price fix.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_04]: You guys can take advantage of all these kind of promotions and everything.
- 1:02:18[SPEAKER_04]: Use code HMA that code is down below.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_04]: Play 5 get 50 lbs back.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_04]: And suddenly it's available here in the state of Florida But also do some of the other bigger states like California and it Texas as well.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_04]: We're gonna do
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_04]: a little 15 bomb on a 15 for 58 were riding power play all three correct plays pay us fully.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_04]: Bang, we're in, we've got some basketball to watch tonight.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_04]: Gentlemen, so shout to price picks as always for sponsoring our show.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_04]: Now, let's finish off the episode real quick.
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_04]: Now, this is a big one.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_04]: Jason Light was recently on Pat McAfee's show, and he gave some tidbits, including Max Crosby and the Raiders, also two.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_04]: Trey Hendrickson, who's now what the ball's more ravens.
- 1:03:02[SPEAKER_04]: Here's what he had to say.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_04]: He said, and I think going back to free agency, when you know the Raiders Ravens trade didn't work out, I think that in some way, I'd like to think it helped us a little bit.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_04]: I was a little afraid if the Raiders made that trade, you know, spy tech, you know, he and I are very close.
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_04]: He was taunting me a little bit, hey, you're sitting right there, and I'm sitting right there in front of you.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_04]: I know what you need.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_04]: And then you know, Crosby goes back to the Raiders, then the ravens are sitting there again with their pick, and I know they love their Ed Drusher's too, so they had me nervous.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_04]: He's talking about now a little bit going into, whenever the ravens made their pick for Vega, he said, so you know Baltimore, they took Vega, which is an awesome pick, you know, they need offensive linemen, so maybe the fact that the Raiders signed Linda Bob,
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_04]: helped us get Rubin, so you know, we're all trying to help each other out there, especially the people that are good friends.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_04]: So thanks by Tech.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_04]: Kind of like said on the Epamagraphy show.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_04]: He also talked about Hendrickson.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_04]: He said Hendrickson being signed by the Ravens.
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_04]: We were in on that a little bit, you know, felt a little bit, you know, dejected at first, but now maybe it worked in our favor.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_04]: So not saying Rubin's better than Hendrickson,
- 1:04:19[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just saying now we got our draft pick that we're all excited about everybody's excited about the shiny new toy in Tampa.
- 1:04:28[SPEAKER_04]: So kind of like what we were talking about earlier, I mean, it's that this front office was completely stunned surprise shock that Rwem Dane was able to fall here.
- 1:04:37[SPEAKER_04]: I think a lot of people were that were following this draft.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_04]: They don't think a lot of people expected friend.
- 1:04:41[SPEAKER_04]: They always thought,
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_04]: that okay the bucks would get maybe the third best or fourth best option there at pass rush but the fact that some of these teams went after offensive line first and their necessities there it's allowed for room main to get in there but it's pretty intriguing though that spike tech and him there was some certainly some chatter like all of us were talking about on this show of oh my god this is max prize we're gonna come down to Tampa Bay is that gonna fix the pass rush problem spike tech and Jason light
- 1:05:06[SPEAKER_04]: We're kind of bantering about a little bit more in spy tech was kind of dangling Crosby there.
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_04]: It just Jason Light wasn't biting on it.
- 1:05:13[SPEAKER_04]: Thoughts on just, you know, Crosby and Trey Hendrix and we talk about it.
- 1:05:16[SPEAKER_04]: We talk about it so much and then it's like it's nice to know that, okay, it actually was happening behind closed doors.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, I think we're lights going with this certainly is that if they do do the Crosby traders then get that pick that would be in front of them to have a bay, right?
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_02]: And they probably take revenge in this situation, right?
- 1:05:39[SPEAKER_02]: They would have to replace Max Cross B had that trade gone through.
- 1:05:42[SPEAKER_02]: They'd had that extra pick that would then be a head of team.
- 1:05:45[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:05:45[SPEAKER_02]: And that would be the pick.
- 1:05:47[SPEAKER_02]: So the fact that that trade didn't happen.
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_02]: Then the Ravens instead go there.
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_02]: They definitely need some effects of lines.
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_02]: They take big eye on it instead.
- 1:05:55[SPEAKER_02]: That helps the buck and ears seal the deal there on Bane.
- 1:05:59[SPEAKER_02]: So that kind of down effect is more important.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_02]: People realize that I think it did help them get their guy in that case.
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_02]: When it comes to Henderson, excellent past rusher, getting old, a little injured and as a run defender, not quite up to snuff as some other officers.
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_02]: options that they got there so I think the book in years got bane he has the potential to become a very good edge Russia in the wrong game setting the edge you know something at 15.5 tackles for loss last year I think it's tackles for loss will mostly be what he's known for instead of his sacks to be honest with you They don't know how high of a sack guy.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_02]: I'll be in the NFL, but I think if he generates pressures that'll be a home run pick there So I think the upside's huge with bane.
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think they did really well Yeah
- 1:06:44[SPEAKER_00]: great synopsis there from River and you know dive it to it and you know they're right on the head on what was going on With the dangling of pieces and the 14th pick and things of that nature I mean everybody we all know the relationship with John and Jason and and they go back and you know There's the video of
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_00]: Spitex sitting on his porch waiting for he's got to get the new felt ladies coming to Tampa and he's drunk off line tries to stand up falls off And you know, they they've had good times Together in Tampa things that nature so it's really great to see that they're kind of continuing to have that relationship even though John now In Las Vegas, but yeah, I'm really worked on the books favor everything just kind of you know
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_00]: They'll write into their laps and you know, we were all like, oh, like, uh, losing our minds whenever the trade was rescinded and everybody's like, oh my god, what's going to go on now.
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_00]: But it kind of.
- 1:07:37[SPEAKER_00]: just puts validation behind like what we have been talking about what we have been reporting, waiting up to that.
- 1:07:42[SPEAKER_00]: We're like we do think the bucket ears are involved with trade which is that how much we do think they might be involved with next cause we obviously there's probably conversations going there and they probably wanted a little too much for them which they clearly did and Jason wasn't going to be able to give that up.
- 1:07:57[SPEAKER_00]: But again, those dominoes fell.
- 1:07:59[SPEAKER_00]: Um, for the box able to get Ruben Banger and I think that's best case scenario.
- 1:08:03[SPEAKER_00]: Like you, you have got the injury stuff with Max, um, you'd have had to give them, give up a lot of draft capital to be able to get them, you'd have to give them a massive contract as well.
- 1:08:12[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and then with a transition thing, him getting older, um, didn't produce that well last year injuries last year as well.
- 1:08:18[SPEAKER_00]: Also, a guy you're going to have to kind of pay up for too.
- 1:08:21[SPEAKER_00]: So you're getting a guy who's cheaper, a guy who's younger, a guy who's healthier, still producing.
- 1:08:27[SPEAKER_00]: And so that's a, it worked out extremely well for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, ultimately.
- 1:08:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think anybody will look back at what was going on then and do like, well, thanks.
- 1:08:37[SPEAKER_00]: You guys still wish we would have done that.
- 1:08:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think everybody's going to move on at this point.
- 1:08:41[SPEAKER_00]: We're all happy with that shiny new toy that Jason Edmund for too.
- 1:08:45[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, I mean, I am very happy with how things fell, how those dominoes started the fall.
- 1:08:50[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, we're reaping.
- 1:08:52[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to hopefully reap the benefits of that as the seasons continue to go along.
