- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to OnlyFin's Q&A Live, a question and answer show as exclusive to OnlyFin's.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_01]: And Miami Dawkins Discord server.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_01]: Now here's your host.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: Out!
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: And we're on.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_00]: This is only fence Q&A live for June the 25th, 2026.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: I was trying to get a guest for this show because I know there's nothing to talk about in the NFL really.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_00]: But I couldn't get the guest.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: They're very, very busy running around covering young stuff.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: So I couldn't get somebody on.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_00]: So I guess
- 0:42[SPEAKER_00]: So let's get to it, the Miami Heat have added Yannis at the Tacobo.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_00]: He is one of the best five players in the NBA.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_00]: That's being, and that's being, like, you were going to want to be a hard ass about it.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_00]: He's a top five player.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_00]: You want to be realistic about it.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: He's probably a top three.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's closer to top three than top five.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_00]: But if you want to be, you know, you want to be generous in this regard, you know,
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: or hard as, make them top five, right?
- 1:14[SPEAKER_00]: In other news, the hockey team, the Florida Panthers, added Brady Kachat, which essentially gives them an entire all-starting.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: At least the first three lines, first of all, all nine of them, and the first three line are Olympians, all nine.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: And it's essentially an all-starting.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: The soccer team in town into Miami has a guy who has five goals in two games in the World Cup in Leonardo Messi, and a lot of people believe it's the best player in the world.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_00]: Which brings us to the doffence.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's been kind of shocking really to see, and I know I mentioned in the Marlins because they just don't spend any money, but even them, even the Marlins are the hottest team
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: brings us back to the dolphins like when is this going to change for them?
- 2:11[SPEAKER_01]: When is this going to when is this worm going to turn, right?
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: The amount of restartes that they've had in the 20 years of dominance that the Miami heat have had and now the Miami heat are kicking off another build
- 2:36[SPEAKER_00]: And if you ask me if I have a lot of great confidence in this ending in a championship, yeah, I do believe that it probably will end up in the championship.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_00]: All of this has happened in 20 years for the Miami Heat, while the dolphins keep doing these restarts.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: And most of them out of necessity, because you can go back and you can look at the dolphins and say, well, maybe this guy should have been fired, or maybe this guy shouldn't have been fired.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: But the truth of the matter is that pretty much all of them have been necessary
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: Realistically speaking, look, the 2023 team was really, really good by every metric.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: Then they just got injured and collapsed.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: Claps at home, that a home game for the division title, they blew that.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: And they lost in the playoffs and, you know, sub-sub-freezing temperatures, okay?
- 3:41[SPEAKER_00]: You can't blame him for that, but you can't blame him for losing the game that actually put you in that position.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: So even that team, like you look back at that team say, man, a lot of bad luck.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: But if you go back to that team, I guess that team deserved a shot at trying to run it back in 2024 with some improvements.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: But if you go back and you look, even in 2024, they made some improvements on the team.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: They found some decent players, but they lost on the edges.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: like they had issues filling out the depth on that team and they completely ignored the offensive line and that's what bit them in the ass in 2024 as of course the quarterback got injured again so everything is you know causing you know causing causation right.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: So everything has its inflection point.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_00]: So the 2020-14 absolutely deserve they shot to run it back.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: By any metric, the 2020-14 was an absolute failure.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: And I believe that that's when Chris Greer should have been fired.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: And Mike McDaniel put on one-year probation.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: I believe that that's what they should have done because yeah, you're not gonna, you know, you're not gonna fire them after you had the good season, he had the 11 and 6 season, then he had an 8 and 9 season plagued by injuries, although most of it was his fault if you think about it because he just could not win a game with a backup quarterback while other teams consistently win games with backup quarterbacks, right?
- 5:23[SPEAKER_00]: So you could have put a mind probation then, would things be a little bit different maybe not, you know, let's say you would have hired John Erick, solve you, tell him look, John Erick, you know, Mike McThanos on a probationary period for one year and then you could do whatever the whole you want with that.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe we're in the same spot.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_00]: You have 2025, maybe we're with different younger players, and you still go 7 and 10, and then make me think it's fired, and you're essentially in the same spot.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_00]: The whole point is all the bad decisions that have happened in the last 25 years, while all the other franchises in town actually make good decisions and win championships.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: I understand that, you know, people talk about, oh, there's parity in the NFL, and everybody gets to be good, you know, everyone's in a while.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: That's not necessarily the truth.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_00]: If you look back and you look at, you know, because look, we're not gonna go back to ancient history, right?
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: Let's just take the last five years.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's all the same teams, really, that are contending for stuff.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's the chiefs, it's the bills.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: Even that the steeders keep sneaking in with a seventh seed and it's almost a rerun.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: The playoffs are almost a rerun of every single season.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: The Houston Texas win their division somehow at the end of the year, particularly would not a great record.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: It was actually a surprise that the Patriots just popped up all out of nowhere to have a big record
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: But there's not a lot of parity and then you go up to the NFC and it's the Rams, it's the Eagles.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_00]: You know, the Cowboys are always on the fringes.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's always the Packers, it's always the Lions.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: That you have the Bears just show up all of a sudden.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, that's not, you know, the 49ers are always in contention.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's always the same teams.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: The only thing that you can point to the NFL and say, yeah, you know, parity is alive and well, is that it's the league where
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's most common to go from last to first, like it's very, very common to be an absolutely horrific football team one year.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: And the very next year you're in contention, like that happens all the time.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: And happen with the Patriots this past year.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: Patriots what?
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: What they were all four and thirteen team?
- 7:52[SPEAKER_00]: One year later they're in the Super Bowl.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: So that happens a lot.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: but that it's a absolute, you know, parody-filled leak, not really.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: That's where I think the NBA is headed, because the NBA now has what I believe is now, nine different champions in nine years.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_00]: So that's a little bit different.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: In the NFL, the parody is just not so.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: And the reason it's not so is because of the way the salary cap works and how roster building works in the NFL If you look at how teams are built in the NFL, they're almost certainly all if they're smart Sometimes they make longer windows like what the Eagles have done, but longer windows make for long for longer pain Most teams build their teams in like two-year cycles
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: So the team is essentially going to be the same, pretty much the same for two years, and then you can tinker around it for year three and four, but pretty much by year five, year you're tearing down rebuilding because it's the cycle of the contracts that run through the salary cap that makes you change up the team.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 9:05[SPEAKER_00]: So that's why you get to see pretty much the same thing.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: So if a team is built correctly the first time, like if you built it with a strong foundation, it's going to be good for that five-year period.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: Before you have to begin replenishing the talent on the team and kinda...
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: You know, revolving, you know, you have like this revolving door of talent, you know, you have to turn the roster like every five years, pretty much more than 40 and 50%.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: Because even the teams that are pretty consistent over the five years, over those five year periods where they could, they complete and they keep a consistent core.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: All of those teams turn about 30% of the roster from year to year, even the best, even the best teams, the Rams, the Lions, etc.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: The bills, all of them do the same.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: The other common denominator, of course, is that if you have a star quarterback, we have a star quarterback like that's always been true.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: You're always going to be in
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: I know it's a long rat, but what I'm getting at is the dolphins have had a remarkable, remarkable run of incompetence that is not really rivaled by many.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_00]: We're talking, it's very, very few, for a team that has been historically good, and when I say historic, I'm not looking back at 20 years, I'm looking at body of work over 50 years.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, we're talking about what was in 2006 when the dolphins were overtaking for the highest wind percentage in the history of football since the merger.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: So it's been 20 years since that, okay?
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: And even then, with all of this, you know, these two decades of futility, if you go look, the dolphins, I believe they're like six or something like that in one percentage overall.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: And all they need is like a nice little run of three or four years and they could be right back up in the top three.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: What am I getting at?
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: I'm getting at.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's been almost.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_00]: What I call it surreal, because it's actually happened, it's a remarkable, I think remarkable is the right word.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_00]: It's been a remarkable run of incompetence the last 25 years, because to have every single one of these cycles and you can go back, in fact, go on football reference, and you can almost start, start right at their last playoff one, and then you can start looking at the roster from year to year, and you can see the builds.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: I believe it's been six.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: like six, you know, full builds that they've gone through and none of them have bore any fruit.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_00]: The best build they had, you can make a case.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: Although metrics wise, you know, this latest McDaniel build was successful, you know, as far as, you know, having a lot of success on offense, that a number one offense, that a number five offense.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: And then the had what would have been
- 12:22[SPEAKER_00]: with their quarterback, you know, because with backup quarterbacks, all, you know, all three years that the offenses were absolutely horrific.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_00]: But I guess you could say that the bill personnel's baronno build, and that was because they just tore everything down in one year, made a few savvy trades, some free agent signings,
- 12:45[SPEAKER_00]: most notably they got the quarterback right for that one year and they went to the vision that that's the most successful you can point to in the last 25 years it's pretty sad but here's the some some reason for all we're at the very very beginning of the next build so we'll see how that one turns out
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: and we'll find out pretty soon because it's the 25th so we are exactly pretty much a month away from training camp they report on the 20th and I'll be there to report on it daily as I give my daily camp reports all right we're gonna go break but before do let me tell you you got to join us here on our discord only fence you want to do that you got to go to discord
- 13:27[SPEAKER_00]: and then you go to discord.gg forward slash only fence and you join there all access for 499 a month.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_00]: If you want to do the read only, it's 299 a month.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: Join on the desktop avoid the apple of charges.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're back.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to take your questions notably.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: There's not that many.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, because it's I guess it's June 25th, 2026.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: If you're wondering when the hell is three YPC coming back two weeks we're coming back in two weeks.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so I can hear you saying I can hear you turning, you know, turning this this podcast off.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_00]: And waiting those two weeks, but I'll take your questions here and remember this is the show that I do year round Like you're going to get this show Save for a couple of weeks that I probably take off during the year, but this Q&A we do it live on our On our only friends discord so you can ask questions live on that discord and you can see me record it live on the discord
- 14:29[SPEAKER_00]: So I'll take a couple of questions here.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: The first one is, is Brennan's source B better than any of the quarterbacks in the current roster.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, God yes, he's better than everybody on the current roster except Malik was because he has a higher ceiling than then everybody on our roster than Malik was.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_00]: And I really do believe this.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: Look like if none of this stuff had happened and he had played for Texas tech this past year.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_00]: Texas tech is absolutely loaded.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're a top 14.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: If you're a top four team, that means you're going to be a top four team in the playoffs, and if you're a top four team in the playoffs, that means you have a buy week.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: If you have a buy week, you pretty much have a good shot and making the national title game.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: You're essentially a win away from the semi-final, right?
- 15:20[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 15:22[SPEAKER_00]: What could have happened with Brandon Soorsby?
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: He was going to be on a pretty damn good Texas tech team.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_00]: He was going to have a good year.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, good scope position players.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_00]: Would he have been a high school candidate?
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: I think he would have.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if all of those things are true, then what happens with him as far as draft status, I think that there was a pretty decent chance he was going to be a first rompick.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: So all of this gambling stuff has absolutely destroyed his value and it looks like the NFL has responded.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_00]: that they will not have a supplemental draft.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_00]: So he will not enter the league this year.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_00]: So he has a year of, I guess, reflection.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_00]: And who knows, maybe he plays in the UFO, maybe plays in Canada.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: But he's not going to play in the NFL.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_00]: And it looks like he will not play for Texas Tech this year.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_00]: Now, in a year's time, what is his value?
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see what happens in a year's time.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_00]: He still has an apologize for what he did.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_00]: And what he did is, is a huge known hope.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: The NFL does not like that.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_00]: And really, look, the rules are really, really simple.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_00]: And you really got to look at a guy with a side eye that can't follow the most basic of all rules.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_00]: which is don't bet on football.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: Simple as that.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_00]: Don't bet on football and you should be okay.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: Now this guy did bet on football but on this team.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_00]: Possibly against this team.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_00]: Bet on pretty much anything that has ever happened or has ever taken any action.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_00]: So he's a pretty big mess.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_00]: But he hasn't apologized.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: And it looks like he's going about in a litigious way with Jeffrey Crestler, they're going to sue the NFL, at least they're threatened to sue the NFL.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll see where it ends.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: But as far as his talent, I don't doubt his talent.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's his talent quarterback.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_00]: And I would have been tempted to use a day three pick on him in a supplemental draft.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_00]: But now we'll never know because I don't think that that's happening.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_00]: I guess he'll enter next year's draft.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_00]: and we'll see that.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, next question, we don't have that many questions because I believe we only have two questions that I can see.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to have to vamp a little bit.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, was it known that Terry on Arnold, he of, he's, he's in trouble, had an off-field issue pre-draft.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: I remember hearing something about it, but I didn't look it up, I didn't have a chance to look it up.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_00]: But he's facing felony charges of arm robbery and kidnapping in the state of Florida.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to be, you know, Joe legal, you know, pernaxed the kid or here, but he's going away for a very long time if convicted.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_00]: These are serious charges.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: Like, he could legitimately do 10 years.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_00]: Like, this could be a 10 year sentence that he's getting.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know about his offfield stuff.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_00]: I should have looked it up, you know?
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: So I guess that's one thing.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_00]: All right, there's a couple more questions.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_00]: I guess I missed them.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_00]: And now I see them.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_00]: Excluding the first and second round picks, which of the rookies see the most playing time this season.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_00]: That's a good question.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: That's a good question and let me take on one by one.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_00]: Excluding the first and second round picks.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_00]: The Miami Dolphins drive picks.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_00]: I wanna take on one by one and by order.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: Here we go.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously the first two are going to play a lot.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're starting both.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: The second on pick Jacob Rodriguez is going to be in a rotation as of, although as of right now, I don't think he's supplanting terrible dots.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_00]: But let's take it now.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_00]: Round three, picks 75 was Caleb Douglas.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: Is he going to play a lot?
- 19:26[SPEAKER_00]: look he's going to run a lot of buddy routes he's going to get a thousand snaps I don't think so it's going to be part of a pretty large group as far as you know guys are going to rotate in and out he's going to have to earn a spot as the x in training camp
- 19:45[SPEAKER_00]: I guess I'll see early on in training camp.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_00]: What kind of snaps he's getting?
- 19:49[SPEAKER_00]: Does he get to see time with the first team?
- 19:51[SPEAKER_00]: So Caleb Douglas is to be determined.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: So TBD on Caleb Douglas.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: Pick 87 Wilkes Maric Titan or Ohio State.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: That's my early pick for the guy who's going to out-snap everybody else in here.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: Wilkes Maric is pretty much a lock to be the inline titan.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: to 650 snaps do anything for you.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's a possibility.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: So he's my early pick for the guy who's gonna get the most snaps.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_00]: Pick 94 Chris Bell, why receiver Louisville.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_00]: You know I'm a big fan of his, but he's coming in with an injury.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_00]: That's always a bad sign if for a rookie, as far as contributing in his rookie season.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: So if he's not there for all of camp and all the pre-season games
- 20:47[SPEAKER_00]: It could be a situation where he starts to season on pup, and he starts to season on pup this is not a guy that's going to give you a lot of snaps this year.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't have too much confidence in him.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_00]: Tray more, pick 130, Edge, Texas.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's going to be a specialist, playing behind Josh Uche, and he's going to play special teams, no.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_00]: He's not going to be the high snapgator.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_00]: Kahlu is the one who's very interesting to me.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to get a high snap camp, because I think he's going to play as the nickel line backer or the dime line backer.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_00]: I should say that dime line backer.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's gonna play some in Big Nickel as a third safety, so this is a guy that can play a lot of snaps You know, what are we thinking as far as snaps 20 again sound good to you?
- 21:32[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe 300 snaps on defense a lot on special teams
- 21:37[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe all of them, unspecial teams, so 300 snaps, something like that.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_00]: Michael Taff has a pretty good shot, he's pick 158 because he can start.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_00]: And if he starts to safety, then he's going to blow a quirk as America out of the water as far as my pick for the highest snap count.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_00]: But we shall see, because safety looks fluid for now.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_00]: And it's a position that as far as I can tell.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_00]: has some guys that have a real opportunity to start.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: I can't call it really between maybe four guys.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_00]: So that's another thing that we're going to have to see come training camp.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's one of those situations where you're not to just sit there, wait for training camp, look at training camp and say, okay, these are the starters.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_00]: These are the guys that are going to get most of the snaps.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_00]: Kevin Coleman, Jr. out of Missouri Pick 177, he's going to be the slot
- 22:33[SPEAKER_00]: those guys tend to not play a lot of snaps if there are slot specialist and I think he's going to be that and I think he's going to be the top kick returner on the team as well.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_00]: So I would say no to him pick one 80 a say to try or a tie-in I don't think he's going to play this year I think he's going to be a retro year for him he's going to be on the practice squad I would look for him next year to be a contributor DJ Campbell he's the swing guard.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_00]: He's backing up.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: Look, I'm pretty sure that they're going to give him some snaps in training camp at center to make sure he's cross trained all throughout the interior But no, he's not going to leave the team in snaps max lollin pick 238 in the in the seventh round.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: No I think he's the only guy out of everybody that they drafted that might be in a little bit of danger Although since they don't have a five-tech on the roster
- 23:30[SPEAKER_00]: So, TPD on him.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_00]: So my pick is Wilk has America to answer your question.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to take these questions last.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_00]: What free agent can you see the dolphins picking up?
- 23:42[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that they're going to go into the free agency market for the rest of the off season.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is the thing going forward.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_00]: those save some money so they can use use it on a free agent if they need if they need one after training cap and they take a bad injury somewhere and they need to bring somebody in but I don't think they're going to invest.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_00]: I know that they explored AJP and that's why they ended up becoming an eagle.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_00]: I think that was the only guy that they would would have spent any money on.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think they just, you know, they're just going to keep their contingency fund and then roll over the rest of the cap for next year.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_00]: Any friends roster players or capcasters are on the league, you can see shaking loose that could help us this year.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have that now.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_00]: Come training cap, I'll get a good lay of the land of every other team.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: I could start looking at the bottom of the roster for a lot of those teams to see if they could augment the Dolph as roster.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and I do expect them to turn very often in training camp, like I would think that the last 15 spots, maybe on the roster, that they, that they remain fluid and unsafe for the guys that are there at that this point.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_00]: All right, last question.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_00]: Can you see the dolphins adding a veteran wide receiver to anchor the wide receiver room?
- 25:00[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely not.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think that they're keeping this unit as is because as I look at this unit,
- 25:07[SPEAKER_00]: The last thing it needs is another veteran that's just going to suck the air out of it and take away snaps from guys that are going to need the experience for 2027.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_00]: So, no.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_00]: All right, I'll take one more question.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think the playbook will copy any of run designs from McDaniel's offense?
- 25:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, what would less motions?
- 25:25[SPEAKER_00]: I answered that question, I believe, a couple of weeks ago.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think that that's what Bobby's always going to do.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_00]: But that's another thing that it's going to have to be a TBD thing, right, for training camp.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_00]: I'll know for sure.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_01]: Then.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_00]: All right, we're going to call it right here.
