- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Scott, the cops are here.
- 0:02SPEAKER_01: I love you, Tiffany! Take me!
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Come see me! Conjugal visits! Man.
- 0:09SPEAKER_01: Um, okay, moving on from that for a minute.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: Uh, I do love this text that came in, and you know, I gotta agree with you, 4441.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: I'm thinking being inside Allie's head, meaning thoughts, can be a scary place.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: I thought I was bad.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: I thought you all thought like this.
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: Uh no, pretty much not anybody except well, maybe you and Betty, but pretty much I think some level.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: But the problem with it, what happens is you drag me down the sinkhole with you.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: And this is where, because I can't leave it hanging.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: I fall, huh?
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: You you you take us somewhere and then I get sucked in and I just can't leave it be either.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: The to me, the tetra sport makes sense.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: There's a connection from one to the other.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: We talked about the guy getting arrested, saying, I love you, into jail, and to conjugal visits.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: All makes sense.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: I I yes, the way you describe it now does.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: Sometimes when it unfolds, it is a little weirdly distracting.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: Yes, chaotic's a good word.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: Now we all live, we are a society that lives on our phones.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Well, I mean, this is not changing.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: As much as I know there are people that would say, well, it'd be great if we could get off this.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: The reality to it is we are connected to it now.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: Maybe one day we'll have a little different of a connection.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: You know, maybe it'll it'll ease a little bit.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: Listen, get your phone wet and not be available to you for four days like me currently.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: You're really gonna appreciate that phone.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: I'm showing up to places, I'm showing up to hair appointment yesterday that weren't even on the calendar.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: I had no idea solving all your late problems were actually just getting rid of your phone for whether you wanted to or not, because you were a day early for something.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: You are never early for something.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: You were a day early.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: A day early and on time.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: I mean, how?
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: This is problem solve?
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: Because I was guessing.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: Well, anyway, we are a society that's attached to our phones.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: Do you call someone in your house to uh let them know something?
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: In other words, uh Zach's downstairs.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: There is an instance that I would do this.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: I've done this, I've done this so recently, it's ridiculous.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: And they have to be though.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: Okay, in my house in particular, he would have to be like down at the bonfire where it's farther enough away.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: I've kind of a smaller house.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: Your house is huge.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: I have literally called Tiffany while she's putting something in the laundry downstairs to ask her a question.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: I could literally walk down the stairs and okay, it's a little bit of a jog.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: A jog.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: I had to run a three a 3K just to get this question out.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: But we've both done this.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: We've both texted each other.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: Well, okay, so texting is a little bit different.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: If you're texting so if you're on Instagram and you're texting someone a funny story, that's not what I'm talking about.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: I'm talking about you've either called your kids, literally called your kids in a bedroom.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: Gavin, come to dinner.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: Hey, dinner's done.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: Or texted them that.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: And we all do it.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: The phone call though, I really because all right, I I may have been accused once or all the time of being loud.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: That's what I was gonna say.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: It's better than you being like, hey Tiffany! That's actually if I'm doing it right, I should probably be like, Hey Tiffany, I love you.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: Can you put my underwear in the wash down?
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: You know, back in the day start every phrase, every every conversation with that.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: I know that people probably think the underwear part either.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Hey Tiffany, I love you.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: I know people probably thought, oh, she has this, so her family's rich.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: We had one of those intercoms.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: Remember those?
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: Oh, and then they never worked after 1986.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: They really didn't.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: They all looked like they were from 1982 and they never worked after 1986.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: Well, first of all, I was I was gonna ask this question.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: Now I gotta know.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: I was gonna ask this question.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: I was gonna say, when's the last time you actually just phone called someone in your own house?
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: Because either A, you didn't feel like getting off the couch or uh B, dinner was done, you weren't ready to walk down and deal with that.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: It's so much easier.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: You can text on that, but now I have to know, does anyone, and these were in every house of a certain generation, does anybody have that intercom on the wall?
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: And it's kind of it's kind of gaudy.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: It I mean it it stands out.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: But it was convenient.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: This was before cell phones.
- 4:23SPEAKER_01: Does anyone have one that works?
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: And if so, can we get a is that how it works?
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: Um I mean, really, seriously.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: That would be so cool.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: I've never been in a house where one works.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: I've been in houses where they've been there.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: But of course.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: I've never been in a house where it works.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: Right, right, right.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: That would be awesome.
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: Since 1986.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: That's like one of those fun little features that is really a real estate selling point for me.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: Oh, yes.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: Having the giant plastic shield on the wall that doesn't work and the old knobs that don't turn anymore.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: You can turn it up and you're like, what?
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: It was at one time it was white and now it's yellow.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know exactly.
