- 0:07[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome to the Dog's Podcast with your hosts, Lake Renaker, Justin Charles, and Josh All.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: What's up Browns fans?
- 0:19[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome back to another episode of The Dogs Podcast.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_01]: Josh, all your host, happy Monday, everybody.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I hope you all enjoyed the free agency, Friendsie, last week, the Browns did.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: Not a whole lot, really.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_01]: It was kind of what we were expecting in all honesty.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_01]: We've got some serious positions of need on this team.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, the primary ones are offensive line and wide receiver.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_01]: And the Browns did attack the wire, I'm sorry, the Browns did attack the offensive line, position the wide receiver position.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, we talked about this a million times for agency is not the time or place to go after wide receivers, especially in the first wave that first week of free agency where the bidding just gets out of control and you overpay so much.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, I mean, pretty much everybody who gets signed in that first week is getting overpaid probably a little bit.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_01]: But, wide receivers are getting overpaid a ton because you are giving too much money to wide receiver twos, maybe high-end wide receiver threes.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_01]: That's what you're getting an infreagency.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: So, while it has been overall uneventful for the Browns infreagency,
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: It was kind of expected to be that way because of the positions that we don't really need to go.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: Sign big players and sign big contracts.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: We're good on this team.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_01]: We're good at the edge rushing spot right now.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: We need depth.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_01]: I've talked about that.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: We need to add some depth and some bodies there.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: But we're okay.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: We're good at cornerback right now.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: We need depth kind of the same situation.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: Everywhere that we needed like a high end starter.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_01]: We're okay, so we didn't need to go out and spend the big money for those spots.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: The only one that I would like to see that I highlighted on a previous show was Kevin Byrd, the Free Safety, but you know, we don't obviously get the, get to choose who comes here.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_01]: We can only do what we can do with the money we have and, unfortunately, the reputation that we have.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: Today on the episode, I want to just go over what the free agents,
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: have been so far for the Browns who we've signed with the deals are that kind of thing.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I want to use that to springboard into mock draft 6.0 mock draft Monday here on the dogs podcast because again, not a whole lot going on with this team, not a whole lot of movement with with players and and personnel and things like that.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: So let's take the information we have from free agency week one.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_01]: and look at how that could impact the draft, which is only a few weeks away in all honesty.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: So the draft will be in Pittsburgh on Thursday, April 23rd, that's when it kicks off, it'll be the 23rd, 24th, 25th.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_01]: The 23rd on Thursday, by the way, that's when we'll be doing our first round live stream, the entire first round from our studio.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: So make sure you guys earmarked that tune in Darcio on Thursday, April 23rd for the first round.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_01]: The Browns make their two picks.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_01]: We assume they will anyway, maybe not, but we'll see.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: So stay, stay tuned and hang out with us for that.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_01]: But let's use what happened in free agency and mock it up.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: How we might.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: See things go in April and I will tell you guys this draft is a little more of what I want to do what I would like to see the Browns do not so much what I feel Andrew Barry will do based on his history and his tendencies, but we'll talk about all that when we get to the mock draft.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: first things first going over to the free agents while I pull this up make sure you guys go to join the dogs.com if you want to be part of our dog pack community and the discord get in there chat with everybody hang out with us 24 seven and you get to be part of the dog pack discord live episodes which we will be doing one later this week I don't know exactly what day in time yet I got to talk to Kenny and figure all that out.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: but we will be doing one this week.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_01]: So if you want to be part of that, head to join the dogs.com.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: All right, real quick, we'll just run through this.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: Before I dive into like the actual free agents, I just want to mention, we placed a restricted free agent tender, a second round tender on safety Ronnie Hickman.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: There's, it's very unrealistic, very low odds that another organization is going to come and offer Ronnie Hickman a multi-year contract and foregover a second round pick to the Browns just to acquire Ronnie Hickman.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: For all intents and purposes, Ronnie Hickman will be back this year.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was like a $5.8 million tender.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_01]: So that's what his contract will be at least to come back to the team to be the starting free safety.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: And then the expectation is the Browns and Hickman will be working on a multi-year extension.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: So you got Ronnie Hickman.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: at least penciled in, I guess we won't put him down in pen, but for on 10 purposes, like I said, Ronnie Hickman will be back.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: And then exclusive rights for agents, who guys that as soon as we place the tender on them, they can't sign with anybody else.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: So they're here at least for camp and things, maybe they end up getting cut.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_01]: We know like long snap or Rex soon, a horror, maybe they bring another long snap or as a UDFA to compete, but he should be back.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: Kicker Andre Schmidt,
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: He'll be back, and then they did the same here with wider severs, Malachi, Corley, Jamari, Thrash, Titan, Brendan Bates, and Linebacker Winston, Reed, which I love those moves because I really like Winston Reed.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think he does have potential to be at least a rotating player at the Linebacker spot and he's great on special teams, and that's big for the Browns.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: Jamari thrash.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know at this point, I'm kind of out on Jamari thrash's potential, but Malachi Corley is still very interesting to me because I think he's got a skill set that a good offensive-minded coach, a wise coach, somebody who actually can see the elite traits in a player and maximize that.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: which we're hoping Todd Monk can do.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: The last one really could not.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: So that's where I still hold out some hope for Malachi Corley.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: Now moving into the actual like, these are the free agents we went out, signed and all this kind of stuff.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: We got, first of all, we traded for right tackle, Titus Howard with the Houston Texans, then we gave him a three year 63 million dollar extension when he got here.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: So there's your right tackle, spot he's paid to be the right tackle.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_01]: He can play a couple other positions on the line guard, but I see him as the right tackle.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: Then we went out and we signed left guard, Zion Johnson, formally with the Chargers.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: Three here, 49 and a half million dollar deal.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: He will be the starting left guard for this line.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: So now we've got two,
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: line spots filled in, just talking out loud and going to head here for the mock draft.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_01]: So we got right, right tackle, left guard.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: And then we saw in linebacker Quincy Williams from the New York Jets, two years, $17 million deal that will replace Devin Bush's role on the defense and I am so freaking excited for Quincy Williams.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: I love Devin Bush and I won in Devin Bush back first and foremost,
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: But I set on the free agency preview show when I talked about Quincy Williams.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: If we don't get Devon Bush, I really want Quincy Williams.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_01]: And we got him.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_01]: I'm very excited to see.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: And he's got a long standing, very tight relationship with defense of coroner and Mike Root and Bergen.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's why.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: Quincy Williams came here to cleavance.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited to see what this defense is gonna look like here with some new faces, new coaching.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: It might not be as good as it was with gym shorts, but there is an avenue here where it's better.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited to see how it plays out.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: then we re-signed offensive guard, Tevin Jenkins, and immediately everybody's like, okay, there's your right guard.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_01]: We got a starting right guard.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: Let's pump the brakes on the starting right guard.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: He can do it.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_01]: He can do it in the little sample size, and it was small, small sample size last year that we got from Tevin Jenkins.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: He performed well at the right guard spot, but again, he was rotating with Wyatt Teller, and you only had a few games where he actually started, but again, he did well in those starts.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: I don't wanna take anything away.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: from Tevin Jenkins and I think he can be the starting right guard if nothing else presented itself for the Browns, but they'd just gave him a one year, was a one year four million dollar contract.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: So he's not paid as a starting offensive line.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: He's paid more as a depth piece.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see how that plays out over the course of the summer.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_01]: And then we made a what I consider a bigger splash.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: Offensive line men, Elkton Jenkins from the Green Bay Packers.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: We gave him a two year $24 million deal.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: So there's another guy who is paid, obviously, to be a starter on the offensive line.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: The Packers had just cut him the day before and the Browns went out and signed him the following day.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: So that was awesome.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: He is most recently a center, played center for the Green Bay Packers, but he played a lot of left tackle.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: He played a lot of guard so this is a guy that can bounce around and he's already said in his introductory press conference I'm going to play wherever they need me whatever spot they need me at that's where I'm going to go so you know a lot of people think we're going to we're kind of locked in the left tackle.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_01]: at pick six, maybe not.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe Elton Jenkins can bounce out and play left tackle.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's done it before.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_01]: He's actually played most of his snaps over his career at left tackle.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see again another guy and that's what they've done with his offends of line a lot of versatility.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: among the line with these players.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_01]: And then we got some re-signings.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: They re-sign corner back to Angela Ross.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: He's primarily a special team guy, practice squad guy.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: They re-sign corner back tray Avery.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_01]: So a couple corners who are going to be, if they make the team, if they make the roster will be featured, mostly on special teams, might be practice squad guys.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: And then we re-sign puncher Cory Bajorke has.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: So the special teams,
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: that the three specialists, those guys are all coming back and Brex Soonahara Andreshmit and Cory Bajorke.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: So we're rolling it back there.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: And the last one, this one was kind of a bigger deal.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: We signed defensive tackle, Khalia Davis, from the San Francisco 49ers, just a one year $3 million deal, but he can come in here and be a good rotational piece on the interior of the defensive line.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like Shelby Harris was who won't be returning this year, so you'll have Mason Graham, Malette Collins coming back off of that injury, but he should be good to go for the season.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: And obviously, Mike Hall is still here.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_01]: You guys know, I'm not the biggest Mike Hall fan.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_01]: So again, for all of you, Ohio State Homer's out there.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: Really, that's what you want to call me sometimes.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's a Buckeye Homer.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_01]: My call was a buck eye.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not impressed with my call so far.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: He needs to be stepping it up this year and making something happen.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_01]: Or that's going to be a bus pick for a second round or that Andrew Barry used a couple of years ago.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_01]: Get on the field, stay on the field, do something, on the field, my call, please.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: But now we got Clea Davis into that rotation.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_01]: I think that was a very good signing for the Browns.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: And that rounds out what we've done so far in free agency.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_01]: So again, no wider severs, not even like a low end free agent signing veteran type thing, because really, that doesn't move the needle for this team.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: Making that kind of a deal.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_01]: You've got Jerry Judy, you've got Cedric Tillman.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_01]: If they run into the season with,
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: either of those guys in the, like, just said your toolman, you guys will see in my mock today.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think you can forget about him.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: Just forget about him.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: He's a jag.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_01]: Not not even a good jag.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I don't think he's ever going to.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_01]: be anything in the NFL.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: Jerry Judy.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to hire them.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see her three.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: I just we can't.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: We can't do it.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: We cannot do Jerry Judy any more expectation than a wide receiver three.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: And actually here let me bring this up real quick because I posted this on social media last week, late in the week.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I wanted to bring it up here on the show.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm seeing a lot of people
- 12:27[SPEAKER_01]: with Todd Munkin here and improved offense, you know, with personnel.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: Jerry Judy could be closer to the 2024 iteration than the 2025, which we, we just experienced the 2025 version of Jerry Judy.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_01]: It was bad.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_01]: That was the version that Denver Broncos fans were like, you guys, you're not going to be happy with this trade.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: But the 2024 version, he was the sixth leading receiver in the NFL, but I went back and I looked and I said, what was really the truth of that 2024 season in 2024 going back to season now, roll with me here, Jerry's duty three games in that season with just one reception.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: So he he played every game that year, three of those games he only caught one pass and five of those games he only caught three or fewer passes.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_01]: He had six games with 35 or fewer yards, which means right there the six games out of 17 he made a zero impact for this offense.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_01]: He had six games on the other hand here with 10 or more targets, so there were games where he was heavily targeted.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_01]: He had four games with seven or more receptions, he had three games with a hundred and more yards, and then the one game obviously with 200 or more yards was to a 235 out and Denver against his old team, the Broncos.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_01]: He only caught four touchdowns, and he had 13 drops, eight of them, I didn't realize this
- 13:58[SPEAKER_01]: Eight of those 13 drops came in the last two games of the season.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_01]: Talk about closing it out on the low note.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_01]: So the reality.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: I went back.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: I looked at all the stats, broke down the reality.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_01]: 786 of Jerry Judy's yards in 2024 came during that seven game stretch when he was playing with James Winston.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_01]: 64% of his total production came in seven games with James Winston if you break it down both ways here.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_01]: In those seven games with James Winston 786 yards 64% of the season total, 112.3 yards per game, that's an elite number, elite number.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: Three of his four touchdowns came over that seven game stretch and he had just one, just one of his
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: In that seven game stretcher, which means over the other 10 games that season, he had 12 drops.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_01]: He had 443 yards, 36% of his production came over the other 10 games, just one touchdown outside of that seven game stretch, 44.3 yards per game, compare that.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: When he was with James,
- 15:13[SPEAKER_01]: 112.3 yards per game elite number without james, 40, 4.3 as average as can be.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_01]: So, outside of that seven game stretch, Jared Judy has not yet been reliable or productive for the Browns over two seasons.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_01]: So, no, I do not need Jared Judy to be any higher than my wide receiver three.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_01]: And speaking of that,
- 15:42[SPEAKER_01]: Let's kick things over.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: I do want to talk about offensive tackles, but I'm not going to do it today.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'll do it later in the week.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think I want to put together a little bit more content and fill out a spreadsheet that I got going here for some of these guys to talk about in a little more detail.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: Today I really want to go through this post free agency week one mock draft for you guys.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_01]: So let's kick it over to the mock.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_01]: Again, here.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_01]: After the tight to sour trade, just to remind you guys, we do have 9 picks in the draft.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_01]: I'm only going to make 8 today because the last pick is 2.48, and that's pretty close.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that it's not the Mr.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_01]: Irrelevant pick, but it's pretty damn close.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: And there's a pretty damn good chance we're not even going to have that pick.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't care about 2.48.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that's wrong.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_01]: I just late 7th round pick.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_01]: I really don't care about mocking that pick.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to do eight.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to do number six 24 39 70.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to do 107 145 148 and 205 to round out the mock draft.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_01]: This episode is partnered with Kaoshi.

- 17:03[SPEAKER_01]: With Kaoshi the objective is either yes or no.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: Will Shidorah Sanders be the Browns week one starting quarterback?
- 17:11[SPEAKER_01]: Will Fernando Mendoza be the first overall pick in the draft?
- 17:13[SPEAKER_01]: Will the Browns make their pick at six or will they trade out of that spot?
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: And in other sports, will the calves win the NBA Finals?

- 19:28[SPEAKER_01]: All right, shameless plug.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_01]: Pick six to kick off this mock draft.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going back to where I started, where I've been and where I'm going to stay, as my preferred pick and what I want the Browns to do with number six.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_01]: Car Nell Tate, Ydersever, Ohio State, 6-2, 195, just 21 years old.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: And why does age matter?
- 19:56[SPEAKER_01]: I guess maybe before I dive in anything else here because I got ages enough for every player because they don't have them all listed but for who the ones I can find I do.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_01]: Age matters because if you are dominating in college football at the age of like, say you don't break out and dominate at the wide receiver position until you're like 22.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you know, you're going against probably some 18-19-20-year-old defenders, but if you're breaking out when you're young, 18-19-20, and you're going against 20-21-22-year-old defenders, now, you know, you're breaking out against better competition or more experienced competition, I guess, would be the better way to say that.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: So just 21 years old, obviously he played the just turn 21 in January, so he played all last season at 20 years old in 2024 at 19.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_01]: This is what I'm talking about about the young breakout ages.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: At 19 years old, he started all 15 games on the National Championship Buckeye roster.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: and he posted 52 catches for 733 yards and 4 touchdowns, and that was alongside Jeremiah Smith and Ameka Agbuca who was a first round pick and Jeremiah Smith obviously who will be a first round pick.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_01]: This is, and I can't stand the arguments out there that well, he was never the one for his team.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_01]: Neither was Agbuca.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_01]: Neither was JSN, Jackson Smith and Jacob was third fiddle to Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was wasn't Marvin Harrison Jr. as well.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: The second year was Marvin Harrison Jr. and then JSN who missed pretty much the entire year or the hamstring injury by the way.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_01]: These Ohio State receivers, I'm not gonna knock them for not being the clear cut one on their team, whenever we have multiple ones on the roster.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_01]: Chris O'Lave, Garrett Wilson, JS, and you go back, I mean, guys like Terry McLean, Michael Thomas, get me on the Ohio State Buckeye receiver and get me Carnell Tate.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: So 2025 started 11 games remember he did miss three games I believe with the calf injury, but you got to remember if you go back if you're a buck eye fan or if not then this so you know, let me enlighten you on this, that was mostly precautionary him not playing in those games.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_01]: I forget who the opponents were exactly but I know we were in a stretch where we were going to get going against some very manageable baked ten opponents.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_01]: So we didn't really need the force car and I'll take out on the field in those games.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_01]: Jeremiah Smith sat for a couple of those games as well.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: So there were one or two games there where we didn't have Tate or Smith.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: And really what we were doing is getting those two fully healthy because the buck guys were gearing up for Michigan and further playoff run, trying to repeat his national champs.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_01]: So in 11 games, again, he missed a precautionary miss.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: But in 11 games, posted 51 catches just one fewer than he did last season in the whole scene, in the entirety, 875 yards, almost 900 yards and 9 touchdowns.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of insane, honestly, if you think about it, for only playing 11 games.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_01]: and not being like the clear-cut go-to target right away in the offense.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you got Jeremiah Smith eating up a lot of those targets and yards and touchdowns, and he's still posted 875 and 9.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's incredible.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_01]: It earned him a second team all American.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_01]: First team all big 10.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_01]: First team, this one I really like.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_01]: First team academic all American.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_01]: Good kid, well-liked, leader, great attitude.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_01]: That is the type of player I need to bring onto this Brown's offense, especially with a young quarterback like Shador Sanders.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_01]: These guys would fit perfectly so well together.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_01]: Lance Zirline and afel.com, his comp for Carnotate, Chris O'Lave, another book I received I've already mentioned, Kim White on X said that Carnotate plays similar to Devante Adams in AJ Green's body because he's taller thinner.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_01]: And the way he runs his route, the way he goes after the contest, the catch is and everything and comes down with these 50-50 balls, his playstyles very similar to Devante Adams.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_01]: His NFL draft profile says, Carnotate ascending Z receiver.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: who continues to step out from the shadow of his teammate Jeremiah Smith.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_01]: He has good size, but he would benefit from more play strength again.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's that 195 on that 62 frame.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_01]: He could add some muscle, a little bit of weight that would be good for him.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: He built momentum quickly on intermediate and deep routes.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: Utilizing speed and tempo to pressure corner backs.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_01]: He can win over the top on verticals or separate over the first two levels with route savvy and separation bursts.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_01]: This is guy who can win all over the field.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_01]: Tate tracks throws on top speed and makes his adjustments to run under them.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_01]: He combines timing body control and catch radius to dominate airspace and consistently lands on the winning side of contested catches.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_01]: Pass catching comes effortlessly with soft strong hands and he consistently works back on throws to keep ball hocks from hawking.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_01]: That would be really nice to help you quarterback out that way.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_01]: Tate displays rare polish for his for a player at his age, again, just turned 21 and he has the talent to become a heralded pro within his first three seasons.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_01]: Send no brainer pick for the Browns.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_01]: No brainer, deeper metrics, 3.02 yards per route run only three wide receivers in this draft class had over three yards per route run, tape, lemon, and a guy that I'm going to draft here a little bit later.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_01]: We'll spoiler, or I guess T's I should say 85.7% contested catch rate caught 12 of 14 such throws, and he had zero drops all season, zero drops, only player in this draft class with no drops.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_01]: Tate, this gets a superstar in the making.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm telling you guys, I'm telling you, when you can win, consistently, downfield with your route running, come down with 85% of your contested throws, your body control, ball tracking, have got to be elite to be able to pull that off.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: And then to do all of that, play that style of ball, and never drop a single pass,
- 26:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's a must-have.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_01]: Why do you see her for me?
- 26:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm taking him over every offensive tackle in this class, except maybe Francis Maui Noah, you can maybe sway me on taking Maui Noah over Carnell Tate, but again with what we're adding to our offensive line already in free agency, maybe we make another trade for a body or something like that.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: And there are other guys in this draft, stay tuned for my next pick coming up.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_01]: that I think we can get and can be a good starter for the Browns.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: I need Carnotate and I'm taking him at six and that's not going to change from here to draft night.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_01]: I can promise you that.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, what I was alluding to here, pick 24.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_01]: I think I took him and my first mock draft I did and I'm going to take him again here because it just makes sense and I'm going to talk about it.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_01]: out of Utah.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: Six foot, six, three hundred and fifteen pounds.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: He's another young guy couldn't find the age.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_01]: He's probably 21 years old would be my guess.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_01]: If you want, okay, this is for the Brown, like Browns.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_01]: If you guys want a left tackle in the first round, not just an offensive tackle, not what if you want a left tackle.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_01]: You have three options in the first round.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: Monroe
- 28:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_01]: Those are your first round options at the left tackle specific spot.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_01]: NFL draft profile says this is a two-year starting left tackle who is still in the early stages of his development.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_01]: Utah's run game leaned heavily on movement and misdirection preventing Lomu from firing out and showing his true power.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_01]: His run blocking trails his pass protection, but improved pad level and a nastier demeanor could close the gap.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_01]: In pass protection, he shows good balance with adequate foot quickness landing quick, well-time punches and using a firm grip to control rusher's once he's in.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_01]: His anchor was rarely stressed by power and his athletic recoveries are average, low move flashes, but his still under construction, his play could improve rapidly with strength
- 28:55[SPEAKER_01]: Very solid, very solid in pass protection is Caleb Lomo and just how solid you might ask.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_01]: 823 snaps he played this past season 383 pass blocking snaps so they ran the ball a lot there at Utah.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: But on 383 passwalking snaps, Caleb Lomu allowed just eight pressures and zero sacs all season.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's insane.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_01]: Think about you're getting past rushed on every one of these passwalking snaps.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: All season.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_01]: All season.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: 12?
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: 13 games?
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: just eight pressures allowed didn't give up a sack.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_01]: This is guy who last year in 2024 was a freshman all American, 2025 named all big 12.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_01]: His counterpart on the Utah offensive line Spencer Fiano, who previously had been mocked higher in the first round, but I'm starting to see him fall down the draft board in the mock draft database a little bit.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: but Spencer Fano was playing left tackle before Caleb Lomu came to campus.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_01]: As soon as Lomu came, they moved Fano over to right tackle and Caleb Lomu locked in that left tackle position.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I know there's a lot of hype right now and buzz and love for Monroe Freeling.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_01]: And the dude is he's athletically potential trait-wise.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's good.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's good.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_01]: I like Monroe Freeling.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_01]: I can't take him at six.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_01]: I can't take him over a car now.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_01]: Tate, he's a one-year starter at left tackle.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: And it was a good year.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: Don't get me wrong.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_01]: It was a really good year for Monroe Freely.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_01]: I believe he allowed.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_01]: Just, I think it was about the same.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_01]: Eight pressures, zero sacs, something like that.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it was, I think it was two sacs.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it was eight pressures and two sacs.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_01]: In his first year starting at left tackle for Georgia.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: can't take him over a proven just such a can't miss wide receiver prospect like Colonel Tate, especially when I can get a guy like Caleb Lomo at 24.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_01]: I would love to do this rather than take freely at six or you know, a lot of people say, we'll trade back to 10 or 12 and take freely.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, fine.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: Wherever you trade back, you also risk the chance of missing out on that guy.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: So then say you trade back to 12, somebody takes them at 10 or 11.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you just missed out on Cardinal Tate and Monor freely.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_01]: Now you look like a freaking idiot.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like doing that.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_01]: I want to take Tate, I want to lock him in, get him at six.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_01]: That's if he's even available.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_01]: I think he will be the way things are looking right now.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: There's a chance he's not.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_01]: But I would rather take Caleb Lomu at 24 than reach higher in the draft from Monroe Freeland.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_01]: That's just, that is my position right now.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I think Loma would be an excellent.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think he could come in here.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think he could start as a rookie at left tackle on the soft ends of line you'd have.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_01]: Caleb Loma at left tackle, you would have Zion Johnson at left guard, probably Elkton Jenkins at center and then obviously tight his Howard over at the right tackle position as far as right guard goes.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_01]: Again, maybe we trade for somebody, maybe we draft somebody, maybe it is Tevin Jenkins.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_01]: Who knows?
- 32:14[SPEAKER_01]: We have options.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they punch,
- 32:16[SPEAKER_01]: to want Jones back into the uh... starting line up and move jank somebody or they there's there's options there and i think that's really what the browns are going for is just to give themselves as many options on the on the line
- 32:29[SPEAKER_01]: as possible.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_01]: So whatever, give me Caleb Lowmo here at 24 moving on, pick 39, go on defense here, a position.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_01]: I believe we really have to have to address.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_01]: And this is the guy I want to address it with.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_01]: Chris Johnson, corner back out of San Diego State now smaller school.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_01]: I've got quite a few actually.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe a couple of smaller school guys here in this draft.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_01]: Will Andrew Barry do that historically he has not gone after smaller school guys, but Chris Johnson, this corner back right here, talked to Barry's Chuck from Dogs by Nature after the senior bull and he came on here and said, if this guy's available at 39 when the Browns pick in the second round, we have to take him.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_01]: have to take him.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_01]: He's a day one starter at Cornerback, six foot, 193 pounds, Lance Zerline comps him to Byron Murphy in the NFL.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_01]: Draft profile says Scheme versatile Cornerback Prospect with average size and the ability to play inside or outside, which is exactly what we need on our defense.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: Johnson is consistent in mirroring the release from his pedal.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_01]: rarely labors when transitioning with route breaks, while many college corners lean on lax officiating to grab and mall Johnson stays disciplined.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_01]: I love this.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_01]: He trusts his footwork and his technique to remain tight to the receiver's routes.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_01]: He attacks the catch point with run through force and is a tenacious wrap-up
- 33:51[SPEAKER_01]: and plays.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_01]: Big receivers can steal some high points, but not enough to cause concern.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_01]: Johnson's coverage versatility, toughness, and athleticism should make him an early starter for a coverage hungry team.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_01]: Johnson is an excellent ball tracking corner back with great body control and those details like it just said in the profile.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: Those details, attention to detail for him, allow him to cover receivers without being heavily penalized.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: So you have a good cover corner who can ball hawk doesn't get a lot of penalties any contactle.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_01]: draft him, draft him right now.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, like I said, shirt tackler, always a big deal for these guys coming in the NFL.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_01]: Tackling has always iffy for a lot of players, especially in the second day.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_01]: 2024, Johnson 67 tackles.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_01]: A tackle for loss, one pick, four pass breakups, three force fumbles, 20 25 this past season, 49 tackles, three TFLs.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_01]: He actually had a sack,
- 34:51[SPEAKER_01]: four picks he took two of those interceptions back for touchdowns and he had nine past breakups.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_01]: Great great stats.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: Denzo Ward guys I love him.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_01]: Still a high level elite cover corner, but this is going to be his 20 age 29 season.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_01]: We need to get the next guy at the corner back position who is going to be young and ascending over the
- 35:20[SPEAKER_01]: three, four years over his rookie contract on this roster.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_01]: And Johnson can be the next great, long time Cleveland Browns corner back.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_01]: That's who I want here at 39.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_01]: All right, pick 70.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_01]: I got a couple picks here where I'm, I'm hedging a little bit.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: I might be cheating just a little bit right now.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_01]: This guy is being projected on mock draft database around takes 60.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see he's kind of been rising up the board.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see if he goes any higher because if he does, then he's going to fall out of hypothetical range here at pick 70 points.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_01]: Still going to take him here.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_01]: because I want to highlight them on the show, number one, and he's a player that, you know, if the Browns want to trade up, again, I got to talk about this at some point, and I'm going to go into the details right now, but Andrew Barry does not like to trade up for anybody.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_01]: He only likes to trade back for the most part, but here at Pick 70, I'm taking Gabe, Jake is the edge rusher out of Illinois, so back to back defensive picks, you might not love it.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_01]: These are positions where we need to be thinking about the future.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_01]: Well, right now we need to be in the here and now it's about depth and who can come in and play starter whenever Denzo Ward is out with a concussion or Tyson Campbell has a hamstring injury or Alex Wright has a foot issue or whatever the case may be, who is going to come in here?
- 36:44[SPEAKER_01]: and fill in and develop into the next starter at this position.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_01]: For me, it's Gabe Jacobs, out of Illinois, six foot, four, two hundred and sixty pounds.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_01]: Lance Zirline comps him to Matthew Judeon, pretty good comp in the NFL, draft profile.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_01]: says that Gabe Jacobs is well built with tremendous play strength and the ability to play as a hand down end or a stand-up edge.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_01]: He's more rugged than explosive and twitchy.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_01]: He can hold his ground against power, but needs to do a better job of playing with discipline to set and contain his edge.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_01]: Jacobs' past-rush plan lacks some creativity, but features a good deal of force and leg drive to bully his way into the pocket once he opens the tackle's edge.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: His play is more staked than sizzle with average sack production expected, but his field demeanor and play strength foreshadow a long career as an NFL starter.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_01]: So, they're already looking at this guy.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_01]: as he started potential right here.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_01]: We're taking them at 70.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_01]: Gabe Jake is team captain four years of experience in college football 74 tackles in 2024 to go along with eight sacks 13 TFLs and three force fumbles last year in 2025 43 tackles, but 11 sacks 13 TFLs again and three force fumbles yet again.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_01]: So this kid,
- 38:09[SPEAKER_01]: I know the sack production might not be what, yeah, the level we're looking for, but still 19 sacks and 26 TFLs over the last two seasons.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_01]: Not bad, not bad production whatsoever.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_01]: He's he's a violent, ball-seeking edge defender.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_01]: He's got the physicality and the demeanor that you want going against these big tough NFL tackles.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: Jacus is a guy and another one.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of like the last pick, Chris Johnson.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_01]: Gabe Jacus was a guy that very shucks all at the senior bull highlighted him on the show.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_01]: Would love to see the Browns grab.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_01]: And I would love to add him to the defense of line.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think that he could fall into the rotation at the edge from day one and then continue to develop and ascend as a starter in the defense.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know, kind of like I talked about with Denzo where do you have Miles Garrett's going to be what?
- 38:59[SPEAKER_01]: 331?
- 39:00[SPEAKER_01]: Something like that.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's not going to, I mean,
- 39:04[SPEAKER_01]: that the end of the career for Miles Garrett unfortunately is closer than the beginning at this point in his career.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_01]: So we really need to be looking that Alex right is a nice piece on the edge, but he's not like a long-term impact player.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_01]: He's a good role player, a good fit over there for right now, but we gotta get somebody in here.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_01]: who can develop into the next great past rusher edge defender for this team and obviously I'm not talking about being on the same level as a mild care, but I'm saying we need somebody that we can say yeah baby, I love having Gabe Jacobs on this defensive line two three years on the road and I think I think this could be that guy.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_01]: So give me Gabe Jacobs here at Pick 70.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_01]: The next pick here, 107.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_01]: This is the second one in a row here where I'm going to cheat just a little bit because mock draft database has this guy projected a little bit higher than this.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's going in the 80, late 80 range.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_01]: So we are pushing the limits here a little bit more.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_01]: But this is a small school wide receiver.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_01]: He's a little bit older prospect.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_01]: Might cause him to drop a little more in the draft.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_01]: But.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_01]: If he's available here, I would love to see the browns.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, trade up a few spots to get him, even though again, we don't do trade ups.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_01]: But it's Skyler Bell, the wide receiver out of Yukon, six feet tall, 192 pounds, Lance Zirline, comps this guy to Michael Gallup, who you remember, was a very effective receiver.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we're not talking about a wide receiver one or anything like that, but a good wrote, you know, a good starting receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, until he got his, you know, unfortunate injury kind of ended his career.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_01]: But Skyler Bell, a draft profile.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_01]: He's an inside outside target with adequate size and field stretching speed.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_01]: He has the tools to beat press quickly and the acceleration cut quickness to open clean windows.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_01]: While he's sudden in and out of his break points his route running can be a tad mechanical at times.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_01]: His catch focus appeared sharper in 2025 but his career dropped total rivals his touchdown total.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_01]: So we do have to have that as a concern.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_01]: The touchdowns left on the field due to under throwing passes that you con will turn into NFL touchdowns if he has an accurate passer, bell speed and upside should make him a productive starter in the NFL.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_01]: So.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_01]: Why do I like Skylar Bell so much?
- 41:23[SPEAKER_01]: And when I did the Wider Severs Show, you guys probably remember, I broke down the top 100, or the receivers who were in the top 100, according to mock draft database at that time.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_01]: And Skylar Bell just came in under that, and I said, put a star, but a little after us by his name, and I like this kid a lot.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_01]: elite production in college football, ranking among the FBSs top three and catches yards and receptions.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, let me just go through it here.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_01]: Let me go through his stat sheet here from that show.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_01]: So we had 141 targets last year.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_01]: 102 receptions for 1,282 yards.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_01]: The yardage was the second most in the entire country last year, and the receptions were the fourth most in the entire country.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_01]: Both of those, 102 receptions for 1282 yards are the most in this entire wide receiver draft class.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_01]: get a 12.6 A dot 13 touchdowns second most in this draft class.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_01]: 36.4% of his slots or slots.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_01]: His rouse ran out of the slot.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_01]: 61 out wide.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_01]: So again, scheme versatility inside outside receiver.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_01]: eight hundred and thirty five yards after the catch and eight point two yack per reception puts him easily highest among this entire draft class so again it's a guy get the ball in his hands and he is going to make plays this is the the guy I alluded to when I was talking about Coronel Tate only three receivers in this draft class were over three point oh yards per route run which isn't a leap number if you're over three
- 43:05[SPEAKER_01]: yards per route run.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_01]: I like, if you're, if you're over 2.5, that's high level stuff.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_01]: If you're over 3, that is elite production.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_01]: I said Carnotate 3.02 yards per route run, Skylar Belt 3.13 led this entire draft class.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_01]: In yards per route, actually, he was tied with McCy Lemon, incredible receiver.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_01]: He did have four drops this year, but
- 43:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's better than say, oh, I don't know the seven drops for Ted Hurst, who I do like a lot.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_01]: I do like Ted Hurst or the seven drops for Casey Concepcion, just a 3.8 drop per cent.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_01]: So again, I think he had drop issues last year and maybe the year before, but this year, he really cleaned it up.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_01]: 13 out of 20 contested catches for a 65% rate one of the better contested catch rates out of this class and for a six foot 190 pound receiver that's impressive.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_01]: 15 missed tackles forced so that again that goes to the yak after he gets the ball he's making guys miss and he's getting yards give me Skylar Bell man come on.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_01]: Remember what happened the last time that the Browns
- 44:20[SPEAKER_01]: leader in receptions and yards.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_01]: Harold Fan and Junior came in here last year and just dominated this offense.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't really have any other option beside him, but he's still came in here.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_01]: The production continued.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see what this looks like with Skylar Bell.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_01]: So you can be cardinal tape, Skylar Bell, and Jerry Judy is my top three receivers.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a happy guy.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna be a happy Browns fan.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_01]: At least until we see what it looks like on the field because maybe then it falls off a cliff.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_01]: But in theory, that could be a very good wider receiver core.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so moving into pick 145.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to go with Mark Hell Bell, so back to back picks of Bell, Skyler Bell, now Mark Hell Bell, offensive tackle, again, left tackle.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_01]: Out of Miami, six foot nine, 345 pounds.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_01]: The Browns have already hosted Mark Hell Bell for a top 30 visit, so he's clearly on their radar this year.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_01]: Bell, he was on the opposite side of that Miami hurricane offensive line, opposite of Francis Maio, no who played right tackle.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_01]: Mark Hell Bell was the left tackle.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_01]: So NFL Draft profile says, this is a mountainous, I mean, come on guys, 69, 345, almost 350, mountainous offensive tackle with rare physical attributes that work both in his favor and against him depending on the situation.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_01]: There is no escaping a high center of gravity, which is in this with Duan Jones.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: which will impact his ability to change direction in protection and create consistent engagement as a run blocker.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_01]: Bell must play in a gap scheme attack to minimize his limitations.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_01]: He has exceptional length that he puts to good use and finding static past rushers.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: and offering shade to the pocket.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_01]: And if all edge speed and sudden inside moves could be an evergreen issue for Bell but with coaching, he could learn to mitigate those issues with his length.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_01]: He has day three value but might have a firm ceiling on his upside.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_01]: So, 2025, Mark L. Bell gave up just 15 pressures and just like Caleb Lomu who we drafted earlier,
- 46:25[SPEAKER_01]: Bell allowed zero sex all season on that Miami line.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_01]: Both as past blocking grade and as rum blocking grades are very strong.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_01]: So for the Browns to grab this kid at 145, that would be a steal I think in my bucket.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_01]: It does remind me of Duan Jones.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: When the Browns drafted him a few years ago, he humongous human being, right?
- 46:45[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, big Thanos.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, this guy being, or I'm sorry, big dude held down his own in college football.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_01]: Just he needs refinements, got some limitations at the NFL level, but he can come in and he can produce for you.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: If coached up correctly and all that kind of stuff, but with Juan Jones already on the roster this season, I do think it's probably his last season on the roster.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_01]: We've already added Caleb low moon now in the first round to play left tackle.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_01]: I think Mark L. Bell could round out your tackle depth on the roster, and then he could develop into the swing tackle in 2026.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_01]: And when DeWan Jones leaves, and now you've got a guy who can be your swing tackle, he can come in and spot start when guys are missing time, and he's got a chance to maybe, maybe he can develop into an eventual starter down the road we'll see, but I like the upside I like the swing on a guy like Mark L. Bell here at 145.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_01]: Then we'll go to pick 148.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to take jack injuries, tight end out of Texas, finally going to dress that tight end spot.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I think injuries would be a great fit for the Brown 6 foot 5, 245 pounds land, zirline comps them to Dalton Schultz.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_01]: That's exactly the type of tight end.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_01]: The Browns need right now.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_01]: So, Andrews is a quarterback friendly F tight end who still needs time in the weight room.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_01]: His route running can be monotonous in short area separation, unspiring, but.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_01]: His tough has a rebounder's feel for boxing out defenders and is a consistent ball winner even when coverage is draped all over him.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_01]: He built speed, he's tougher on man coverage, when allowed to stretch his legs on longer routes.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_01]: Run blocking is a rollercoaster ride of bad losses and quality wins.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_01]: He lacks the play strength to block ends and whist in space on occasion, but he also gets his share of wins on split zone, lead poles and combo climbs to the linebacker.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_01]: Andres should develop into an NFL starter.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'll take that here at Pick 148.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_01]: Again, maybe I missed this.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember now.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's not ringing a bell.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: Did I talk about?
- 48:51[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't think I did.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_01]: We signed Titan Jack Stoll.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember if I said that at the free agent part of the show up top, but Jack Stoll from the New Orleans Saints one year, 1.3 million veteran minimum.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_01]: I saw a lot of people as soon as we signed stall there, like, well, there's your tight end too.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_01]: We're good there.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_01]: No, guys.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_01]: No, he is signed to a vet minimum deal.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be a, you know, a cut candidate, a roster bubble guy throughout camp.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to have an opportunity to come in here and earn a role.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_01]: Proof himself.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_01]: He's probably battling with Blake Whiteheart.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_01]: or Brendan Bates.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_01]: We need somebody else who can come in here with a higher ceiling, higher potential.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_01]: And that for me is a guy like Jack Andrews here out of Texas.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_01]: Three-year starter in college.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_01]: For NAND, this is interesting.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_01]: He was for NANDOMANDOZA's top target at Cal back in 2024.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_01]: He had 56 receptions for 623 yards and two touchdowns with Fernando Mendoza.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_01]: 225 transfers of Texas catches 33 passes for 346 yards and three touchdowns.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_01]: So over his three year career in college, I mean, he was a three year starter between two years of cow, one year at Texas, 1,376 career yards, which that's very solid production for a college tight end for any college tight end, not named Harold Fan and Jr. who again is not your
- 50:19[SPEAKER_01]: I like it.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: Give me Jack Andrews here at 148.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_01]: And then finally we'll round this thing out with a guy that I picked in my first mock draft.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_01]: This is picked 205, Matt Galbin, center slash, can play guard out of Michigan State, six foot four, 305 pounds.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_01]: Matt Galbin is a three year starter with average size, good power.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_01]: He's better at climbing the line backers than he is at moving laterally to seal in the run game.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_01]: He can be out reached at the point.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_01]: But he stays tight to his block to reduce length this advantage.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_01]: He excels when washing away targets on those inside zone plays with strong leg drive.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_01]: Galbin anchors well in protection, but he must stay square and be more alert to loopers on twists.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_01]: Short arms reduce his margin for air, but his consistent body of work suggests that he has a chance to make a roster as a center who can swing to guard in a pinch.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_01]: Who's that sound like?
- 51:13[SPEAKER_01]: Does that sound like anybody else on the team right now?
- 51:16[SPEAKER_01]: Just like Mark Hill Bell to me resembles what we did with the Juan Jones in 2023.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_01]: Matt Golbin reminds me of what we did with Luke Whippler in 2023 the same draft.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_01]: You take a center, late in the draft, a guy who was very solid in college, but doesn't really have the size, the speed, the athleticism's got the shorter arms, whatever.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_01]: He's not gonna come in right away on to an offensive line and do anything.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_01]: but there are traits there to work with that could develop into a good backup, or maybe even a starter if things hit right at some point in his career.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's what you want at this point in the draft.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_01]: So, a stats wise goblin, only five pressures and two stacks allowed all year, almost 500 pass blocking snaps for this guy at Michigan State, and only five pressures allowed.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_01]: Those are the types of offensive linemen that I'm looking for, especially late in the draft, but all throughout high pass blocking snaps low pressure rate.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_01]: All right, guys, there it is.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_01]: That wraps up mock draft six point.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, coming off the first week of free agency, the first wave, really the main wave.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_01]: And again, the Browns signed a couple starters on the offensive line, but outside of that, obviously Quincy Williams at linebacker, but on, you know, everybody else was,
- 52:35[SPEAKER_01]: You know, special teams, guys, practice squad candidates, things like that.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_01]: So this is what we did in mock draft 6.0 as a recap.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_01]: Let me know what you guys think in the comments.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_01]: Number six, Carnell Tate, Wider Seaver, Ohio State, 24 was Caleb Lomu, offensive tackle out of Utah.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_01]: 39, we go Chris Johnson, corner back out of San Diego State.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_01]: 70, Gabe Jake is the edge rusher out of Illinois.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_01]: 107, Skyler, Bell Wider Seaver, out of Yukon, 145 was Mark Hellbell.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_01]: offensive tackle out of Miami, 148 Browns go jack andries, the tight end out of Texas.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_01]: And finally at 205, we take Matt Galben, the center from Michigan State.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_01]: So there we go, guys.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_01]: Let me know what you think in the comments, tell me what I did right, tell me what I did wrong, tell me what you would have done or players that you would like to see added to this roster, starting on April 23rd, it's coming up, guys.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_01]: I want to take probably a quick break here, on the other side, a couple of voicemails.

- 55:11[SPEAKER_01]: Alright, thanks for hanging in there guys.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_00]: First voice mail here today is from Justin.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_00]: What's up dog podcast to friendly neighborhood, Browns fan out here in Jersey.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_00]: Just chime in here and just see what your thoughts are on the possibility.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_00]: I've been more ago, you know, Monroe Freeling with the 24th pick and obviously Tate or Tyson at six.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_00]: only taking Tyson if take is not available, but now with all the moves in free agency I'm leaning more towards taking tier receivers in the first round now like you know we're in a time period where it's like we gotta go all out while we got miles Garrett still and Denzel Ward on the defense you know what I mean we made some big moves in the free agency in the line which I love but I want to know what your thoughts are if we can somehow come out of the first round
- 56:08[SPEAKER_00]: and Omar Cooper Jr. and have them as our main wider severs going into this season then he also got Isaiah Bond, which I love with his speed and then Harold Fanon.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_00]: I love the idea of having Shidorah Quenchon, Judkins, Carnell Tate, Omar Cooper Jr. Harold Fanon, and Isaiah Bond.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, go Browns.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_01]: All right, Justin, thanks for the voice.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_01]: And obviously, you just listened to my mock traps.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_01]: So yes, Cardinal Tate at six, you're not getting Monroe freely in 24.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think there's a chance that he's available there.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_01]: He will go earlier, but again, I don't want to reach for him at six, especially if Cardinal Tate's on the board.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_01]: I just...
- 56:48[SPEAKER_01]: the more I was already convinced that Cardinal Tate was going to be that guy for me at six.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_01]: The more I studied him, the more I've watched the the deeper analytical dives I've done in him.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just like, I don't see how it fails.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe it does.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it does.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of it for these guys does depend on landing spot.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_01]: Unfortunately, the Browns are not the best landing spot historically for these kind of players, but
- 57:14[SPEAKER_01]: I am choosing to have faith in Todd Munkin until he proves me wrong until he shows that he really doesn't know what he's doing, but I'm choosing to believe that he knows what he's doing, that he can elevate offensive talent.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_01]: And I think Carnotate is the best option for the Browns at Wide Receiver, and you've got to get them.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_01]: You have to get them because of this team never invest at Wide Receiver, and we always suck at Wide Receiver.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why it's because we don't put emphasis on the position.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_01]: So put fricking emphasis on the position, Andrew Barry, at six, don't mess around with it.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_01]: Don't trade back, just stick, and pick the best freaking Wide Receiver in this class, and just be happy with the production, the results.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_01]: Like, come on.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I guess we so fired up talking about how piss poor this wide receiver core has been every single year, especially these years under Andrew Barry's been pathetic so bad so just just fix it just fix it obviously I don't think we're training for anybody I
- 58:13[SPEAKER_01]: I know I want them to get Marvin Harrison Jr. or Brian Thomas Jr., but if we think Marvin Harrison Jr. still has a lead upside and a ceiling like that, so do the Cardinals.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_01]: They don't want to give them up and not for nothing, so it's going to be a pre-mo deal probably, and that's probably why we haven't seen anything transpired yet in the wider silver trade game.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_01]: uh... two-wide receivers just in in the first round i mean i'd be on board i'd you're not going to see me upset if we leave draft night from the live stream with car notate and on my kupert Jr. we're probably going to be doing backflips out of the studio honestly probably on camera will be doing all kinds of crazy stuff if we go that route but again i thought about doing that for my mock draft here today but
- 59:05[SPEAKER_01]: had just, I think if Caleb Lomu is there at 24, with what we've done, the moves we've made so far on the offensive line, I think we need him.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he would be the right value for the Browns at 24.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I think, I don't know if he's got all pro, perennial pro bull type of ceiling at the left tackle spot, but I think he's definitely a guy who can come in and be a good starter for you for several years.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm good either way as long as we go tate at six.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's where it gets me like I would it what you do at 24 take a wider seever take a tackle whatever get tate at six don't mess around.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_01]: Justin appreciate the voice mail.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see who's next here.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_01]: The next voice mail actually I think it's the last one we got for today.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_01]: This one is from Preston.
- 59:53[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, this is Preston from Charlotte and North Carolina, but I'm originally from Columbus, so go box.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_03]: My question is, do y'all think taking Monroe Freeling don't have tackled from Georgia at Arthic.
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_03]: Big number six, do you think that would be a reach?
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_03]: Personally, I do.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure y'all will have a more unbiased opinion since I'm at a huge fan of Georgia.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I just want to hear y'all as opinions on him and just the offensive line as a whole.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_03]: And the first round, whether we should take it six or 24, who we should take specifically.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, thank you.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_01]: All right, Preston, well, thanks again for the Voice Mill.
- 1:00:30[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, H. I.O.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's right, Buck Span here too.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you obviously, again, just like Justin's Voice Mill, yeah, you saw the mock draft here.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_01]: You've gotten my, I basically entered a lot of what you've already.
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_01]: been looking for there in that voicemail, Monroe Freeling, out of Georgia, I think is a very good prospect, not at six.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_01]: I do think six, I agree with you.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_01]: Six is a reach to take Monroe Freeling, especially if you're taking him over Carnotate.
- 1:00:59[SPEAKER_01]: Now, if we get to six, Carnotate's off the board, and Francis Mario knows off the board.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, you can entertain me with Monroe Freeling at six.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_01]: If those guys are off the board, but again, then you're sitting there and you're going, okay, do I reach for a left tack who's only started one year in college?
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_01]: Again, it was a good year.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_01]: He performed well in the SEC.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_01]: But a one year starter at left tack who still needs some refinement to his game.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_01]: Are you gonna take him over guys that are still in the board?
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_01]: Sunny styles, Caleb Downs, we're talking in Ohio State Buck guys.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_01]: What if Jeremiah loves on the board?
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_01]: I just had to throw it out there because I put on social media.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_01]: I got, I got pushed back and I got love.
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_01]: I got, oh, end of the spectrum on that one.
- 1:01:44[SPEAKER_01]: But I'll do a bigger segment coming up here, you know, before the draft about Jeremiah love.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he's probably going number four over all to the Tennessee Titans.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_01]: If a guy like Jeremiah love is on the board at six, say Cardinal Tates, go on to the Giants or something.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's really hard to sit here and bitch for year after year after year and say the Browns never have a lead playmakers.
- 1:02:10[SPEAKER_01]: And then sit there and pass on one of the most elite playmaking prospects in recent memory.
- 1:02:17[SPEAKER_01]: I would be tough.
- 1:02:18[SPEAKER_01]: That would be tough.
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_01]: Need you guys remember, Jeremiah love not just to run him back.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_01]: not just a running back.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, yeah, a Monroe Freeling at six.
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think is getting a little rich.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_01]: I think people are, I see a lot of social media accounts saying, well, I think we're just kind of locked into Monroe Freeling at six.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of like we're settling.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_01]: Why are we settling?
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, guys.
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_01]: Let's not settle.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_01]: I know we need somebody to play left tackle.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_01]: Worst case scenario, they played to Juan Jones there again.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to.
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_01]: You guys know that.
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to play to Juan Jones there.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_01]: At least not starting.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_01]: I want him to be the
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's worst case scenario, at least you have somebody who can play there if need be at least for, you know, four, five games until we get certain.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry, that's just the trend, but I like Caleb Lomu again if you want to left tackle in the first round, you're between Freeling, Caden Proctor out of Alabama who just not huge on Caden Proctor.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's got some upside.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_01]: He's kind of like freeling in that way where there's physical traits there and there's upside that is very enticing.
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, I don't know if it can be reached or if this is the right situation for it to be reached with the Cleveland Browns.
- 1:03:29[SPEAKER_01]: I think Caleb Lomus, the most complete left tackle, you can get in the first round, I think you can get in at 24.
- 1:03:33[SPEAKER_01]: So that's what I'm doing.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's where I'm at, that's where my head's at.
- 1:03:37[SPEAKER_01]: After that, if you know what here, let me, let's just play a game since I was the last voice mail.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_01]: I've got a few minutes here to round out this episode for you guys, so let's just start playing a little bit of whatf game.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_01]: So say you don't go.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_01]: Like I think Justin was suggesting you don't go tackled all in the first round, which I would be shocked.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_01]: Shocked if Andrew Barry used two first round picks at the wider receiver position, because I just don't think he likes wider receivers.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, so then you go to 39 and you're looking at, okay, well, who could be available there?
- 1:04:10[SPEAKER_01]: Blake Miller's probably gone.
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, right tackle out of Clemson, mock draft database hasn't at 36.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_01]: So that's just three picks ahead of where the Browns are picking at 39.
- 1:04:18[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe maybe he goes there.
- 1:04:20[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he goes first round.
- 1:04:21[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 1:04:21[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking very early second round picks here.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_01]: Guys could be sneaking into the first round.
- 1:04:27[SPEAKER_01]: But if you want to talk about tackles guy who should be available in the early second round.
- 1:04:32[SPEAKER_01]: Max.
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_01]: I not sure the right tackle out of Arizona state.
- 1:04:37[SPEAKER_01]: Very interesting player.
- 1:04:38[SPEAKER_01]: If you're looking at
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_01]: Offensive line in general 41 right now projected here.
- 1:04:43[SPEAKER_01]: Emanuel Pregnant, the interior offensive line in the guard out of Oregon, could be an option.
- 1:04:51[SPEAKER_01]: And then at 46, you got one of my favorite players in this draft is Chase Passantes, the guard out of Texas A&M.
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't hate that move especially.
- 1:05:00[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to be thinking about this from my next mock draft.
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_01]: I might be taking Chase Passantes at 39.
- 1:05:06[SPEAKER_01]: Putting him at right guard, you've got Zion Johnson and a left guard.
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_01]: I might move Elton Jenkins to left tackle.
- 1:05:16[SPEAKER_01]: He can play it.
- 1:05:17[SPEAKER_01]: He can play left tackle.
- 1:05:20[SPEAKER_01]: We might not need to reach from Monroe Freeling at six.
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_01]: If Elton Jenkins can play left tackle.
- 1:05:28[SPEAKER_01]: Something to think about.
- 1:05:29[SPEAKER_01]: Something to think about.
- 1:05:30[SPEAKER_01]: And then if we move on,
- 1:05:32[SPEAKER_01]: looking a little bit further down here.
- 1:05:33[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I don't really want to talk about too much at 70.
- 1:05:36[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, tackle wise.
- 1:05:40[SPEAKER_01]: Not really much to talk about in that range.
- 1:05:44[SPEAKER_01]: The only offensive lineman in that range that I'm interested in projected to go 68.
- 1:05:49[SPEAKER_01]: is killing Rutledge, the guard out of Georgia Tech.
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_01]: So that's kind of where I'm at with these offensive linemen right now.
- 1:05:56[SPEAKER_01]: Again, I'll do an episode more on offense.
- 1:05:59[SPEAKER_01]: Basically, just focus solely on the offensive line players in the draft coming up here in the next couple weeks.
- 1:06:04[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll talk about that.
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to wrap it up here today.
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you guys for tuning in.
- 1:06:09[SPEAKER_01]: Best audience in the world.

- 1:07:42[SPEAKER_01]: The first mock after the first wave, a free agency, who else should we sign in free agency, guys?
- 1:07:48[SPEAKER_01]: The one guy I'm still looking at, that's out there, or at least you know what, let me double check and make sure he is out there.
- 1:07:54[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I didn't see a notification where he got signed by anybody, but always a chance I missed something.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_01]: Dylan Param talked about him on the free agency preview show, the offensive guard is 26 years old from the Raiders.
- 1:08:07[SPEAKER_01]: I think if the Browns were able to bring him in.
- 1:08:09[SPEAKER_01]: Now you're really opening yourself up to do things like maybe two receivers in the first round or two receivers in the first three or four picks, that type of thing.
- 1:08:19[SPEAKER_01]: So, Dylan Perry, I'm a guy I'm keeping close eye on in free agency as the week goes on.
- 1:08:24[SPEAKER_01]: So, see you guys in the comments.
- 1:08:26[SPEAKER_02]: See you guys in the next episode until I talk to you, let's go Browns.
