- 0:03Enough is enough. I don't have any show. SERI your shuck and we
- 0:09hold the world ransom for excuse me while I whipped this out broadcasting live and
- 0:17Atlanta, Georgia. This is a sports shot ship with Wingney. You make
- 0:24Vegan Gigain show, freak comes, so far comes, it comes a month.
- 0:33Isn't just I'm a doing bah. I'm gonna go on the way you
- 0:41made Vegan. Welcome, Welcome, well good If you're listening to the Sports
- 0:48Shop show, I am the Sports Shop Wayne Gamey, Good morning to you.
- 0:52How was your holiday weekend? How long did you carry on? It
- 0:58started on Thursday at the fourth A lot of sports, A lot of firecrackers
- 1:03going off around my neighborhood. Still even last night. People still I guess
- 1:07they're getting rid of those last little extras in the bags. Just you know,
- 1:11here in Atlanta, we kind of have gotten away from the city putting
- 1:19on, at least in my area, putting on fire works, and so
- 1:23you kind of have more in the neighborhood, which takes a person of my
- 1:27age back to childhood. That's when you did most of your firework displays in
- 1:36front of the house. Got very creative, you know, go in there
- 1:40and get your wire hanger and a supreme brilopad and light that up and see
- 1:46how much fun you can have. Now, don't do that in twenty twenty
- 1:49four since everything is illegal. Fun is illegal in twenty twenty four unless purchased
- 1:59in a realistic way. You can have fun if you purchase you some fun,
- 2:04but don't come up with your own creative way of having fun. But
- 2:08the fourth July, I hope your family and friends and loved ones all made
- 2:14it through safely, as we always talk about having gotten a report, but
- 2:20I'm quite sure it will be some life lost. With holidays in this country,
- 2:28a time where it seemed like holidays were safe times has become some of
- 2:32the most dangerous, and especially here in our country with gunplay and how we
- 2:39don't really respect how guns affect just basic society. Big Kenny was telling me
- 2:46that Oklahoma and Alabama. Now I don't know if that the first dates,
- 2:54but they are now selling munition out of vending machines. And these vending machines
- 3:06are literally at grocery stores, no limit, no limit to. Now,
- 3:13what is the purpose of that bad producer? Why do we need to be
- 3:20selling bullets at grocery store. Most places just started selling alcohol at the grocery
- 3:25store. You can't get back of cigarette those used to be very Yeah,
- 3:30you have to go somewhere else for you know, that kind of debauchery.
- 3:36A vending machine selling bullets at grocery stores over in Alabama and Oklahoma. What
- 3:44what's the purpose of that? I'm not for sure, but you know it's
- 3:49pretty smart idea. You're gonna put them in there. If you put in
- 3:53the right area, they're gonna make some money. I guess. It's just
- 3:55like if you're selling fishing bait when you know stores got bait when you get
- 3:59ready to go fishing. And it's just Oklahoma and Alabama house a lot of
- 4:02hunting reserves spots. I know Alabama has a lot for turkey and deer,
- 4:08and there's some good spots out in Oklahoma. But if you can't get to
- 4:13the gun retailer that has the the deal that has the bullets, maybe like
- 4:18a Walmart or a what's the other So basically I can reload my gun when
- 4:25I go in this grocery store to shoot people and I run out, I
- 4:29can just go over here and get to get over there. If they start
- 4:34shooting. Wait wait wait, wait, no, no, no, no,
- 4:38no, no, I'm selling bullets at the grocery store. That's my
- 4:47point. That's my point, selling bullets at the grocery Now, this is
- 4:50the thing we live in. Living wants to equate it to buying bait,
- 4:56bait to go fishing. And this is the thing when nobody I know,
- 5:04excuse me, one out of the hundred men I know have a gun for
- 5:11the purpose of honey. The other ninety nine men I know have a gun
- 5:21ready for it to jump off to use against another human. And and good
- 5:28morning sports jock. Let me say that. So we are selling bullets in
- 5:32a country where we consistently have shootouts at grocery stores, plenty of shootings in
- 5:43the grocery machine. Now we're gonna sell them the bullets right there in the
- 5:46vending machines because we don't want you to have to be inconvenient, inconvenience by
- 5:51going to the day before, by going to a place that should securely be
- 5:58selling bullets, well ammunition. You can't get in trouble for wait wait no,
- 6:03but let me say this, bad producer. We live in an open
- 6:05carry We live in an open carry constitutional carry state, meaning you can openly
- 6:13carry your weapon with you without having a permit. How you feeling when you
- 6:16in the checkout line with a basket full of groceries and I come in with
- 6:21my rifle in my hand and go straight to the vending machine for the bullets.
- 6:27You're gonna be a little bit nervous while I start making this purchase.
- 6:30You're gonna start watching me. Now, when I go to buy my bait,
- 6:33I can have my fish and ride in my hand. I'm not making
- 6:36anybody nervous. Nobody has any anxiety about me reeling them in from the entrance
- 6:43of the grocery store. But this is different. I have my weapon with
- 6:48me. You see me purchasing these bullets. What am I gonna do?
- 6:54What do you think I'm about to do? You think I'm finna go hunting.
- 6:59I'm in regular street clothes. Bullet's at the grocery store. Very very
- 7:03interesting where our country is going? I think that then it stop reporting on
- 7:12the tragedy. Stop making it seem like it matters to you. You obviously
- 7:17are not trying to correct these tragedies. You're not trying to eliminate, restrict
- 7:28hamper anybody from at their will. Let those people in Chicago or wherever they
- 7:39were with their son, let them out of jail, trying to put them
- 7:45in jail because they went and per you don't care, You really don't.
- 7:48So what stop Stop with the whole pretense when you're making rules like this,
- 7:57because we would hate for you to have to playing Oh no, coman Greg
- 8:03to get your bullets. We're saying now I esport with you, like I'm
- 8:05gonna run out. I'm gonna get bag of ice, get twelve pack.
- 8:11I'm gonna get some charcoal. Uh, some paper plates. Oh and some
- 8:16thirty eight shells. That's what I need at the grocery store, one stop
- 8:22shop. So if I get to the hetta, get to the park going
- 8:26down, I can. I can set it off right here. Dude took
- 8:31my parking space. He gonna feel it when I get it. It's so
- 8:33interesting, especially with the uptick, as I said, in this country alone
- 8:37of grocery store mass shootings. Yeah. Someone just commented one of our online
- 8:45listeners, Walter Eccles, said, hunting in grocery stores. That's what it's
- 8:48going to be. Now. People are going to hate. I'm in the
- 8:52mood. I'm gonna just go down here and again one stop shop. I'm
- 8:56gonna get my my ammunition and my victims all in one place. Yeah,
- 9:03I don't have to worry about did that bring enough bullets? Found the cash
- 9:07and we found the cash of ammunition. You don't have to worry about that
- 9:11anymore. But Madison Keys, it's out of Wimbleton due to an injury.
- 9:16Had to withdraw there in the third set in which she was up, fighted
- 9:20two, but just could her her leg kind of tweaked on her. Couldn't
- 9:24tell whether it was hamstring or quad, but she had to bow out and
- 9:30had not around anymore. Cocoa Golf stunned in straight sets. She was ranked
- 9:37number two in this Wimbledon round. So two people that we talked about last
- 9:41Monday are not going on for the championship. So who does that leave us?
- 9:48Comanche, do we have any bright stars? So long Stevenson was gone
- 9:54already, Naomi Osaka? Who do we have left? Who do we have
- 10:00Do we have any men on the men's side? Are we just out of
- 10:03Wimbledon? We might just be out unless you bought a ticket. You get
- 10:09in with a ticket. I'm not holding us out as A as a spectator,
- 10:16but as participants. Yeah, I think we can go take our us
- 10:20A T shirts off. First of Fat Boys break Up and every Day.
- 10:28Uh. One of our online listeners, Jared Lloyd said, and these are
- 10:33his words, not mine. That's why we hate bad producer. That fishing
- 10:39analogy is so stupid or so disingenuous dot dot dot dot dot. I'll go
- 10:46with stupid since most of his arguments are shake my head and we'll be back.
- 10:56Who is he with more than sports show? I love it now you
- 11:01know that's exasperation. He just wow this fish and bake fish bank, don't

- 14:22No no, no, no no no, It's time to present the Jock
- 14:26of the Day on the Sports Jockshure. He's taken it to a completely different
- 14:30level this year, where we highlight an appolete that has taken their game to
- 14:33the next level talk back to this swe shock show. I'm in the sport
- 15:01Shock Wayne can I got a chance to go see O. Chris Breezy.
- 15:05Uh this weekend down at State Farm or Reena put on a show for about
- 15:09two hours. He went strong for about two hours, two hours, fifteen
- 15:16minutes. Didn't take those long breaks. His breaks through timely where you know,
- 15:22it was enough time where I went, I changed clothes, I drew,
- 15:24dried off, and came right back right. So it one low was
- 15:28long, you know, fifteen minutes, seventeen minutes. Yeah, it was
- 15:33just the kind of time it would have taken you to do award change yes,
- 15:37and come back and start the next set. So watch Chris Breezy.
- 15:41Uh this past Friday. One thing? Excuse me? Did you do the
- 15:46beat and Greek? No? I didn't want to. I didn't want to
- 15:50or did? But did you you want to pass on the booty ground?
- 15:54Yeah? I was gonna pass on that, you know short? Yeah you
- 15:58ain't want to full Breezy, not in the short guy, because I was
- 16:00about to say that wouldn't be so weird to see Chris Brown holding you squeezing
- 16:07your we still be cool. I just want you to know, I was
- 16:11a line that kind of left. Maybe I don't know if they were,
- 16:15because that brought to mind when they were kind of leaving. It was like
- 16:19a line of ladies towards the back, and I was thinking, now,
- 16:26either they came here as like a group, right, like maybe bust here
- 16:30together. Because you know, when you talk about Chris Brown, he's in
- 16:33Atlanta, you're gonna have people come from regions of the South, you know,
- 16:38especially those places he doesn't go to. So you take a state like
- 16:41Georgia, most likely Atlanta is the only place he's going to play, right,
- 16:45So all the people from everywhere, all Bennie and Macon and Savannah,
- 16:51they might, you know, with social media. Put it out there,
- 16:55man, we ridding the bus with anybody, at least throw it out there
- 16:59to see. Yeah, anybody, you ain't gotta worry about your travel,
- 17:02Just get your ticket to the Breezy concert. And we you know, but
- 17:06old Chris Brown. But no, I didn't want him to grab my booty.
- 17:08And I definitely didn't want to pay him a thousand dollars to grab your
- 17:11booty. Grab my booty, man, because you could probably get it cheaper.
- 17:17What I'm saying, most of my decisions are financial decisions. Not that
- 17:21you'd want anybody grabbing your booty, but what I'm saying, if you add
- 17:23somebody, you probably get it for cheaper. I'm just saying, uh,
- 17:27but Chris Breezy. The other thing I want to ask you guys, especially
- 17:30you too. DJ's command you Greg and the bad producer Big Kenny is like,
- 17:36wait, DJ, he grew up in a musical family. But on
- 17:41the fourth July, a lot of people when you would play R Kelly or
- 17:51play Diddy, you would see people kind of face go up, you know,
- 17:56like, how dare you put that on? And does the cancel go
- 18:02to? Because you're talking about two of the most powerful men in music in
- 18:06the last thirty years. It's hard to find anyone that has put an imprint
- 18:15more than those two. And that's the word I would use, imprint,
- 18:18because not only your music, but the music you created and produced the band.
- 18:22That's what I was does go to because we played an A Liah song
- 18:29and that was the first That's why I put her on there. That was
- 18:30the first thing in my head. I was thinking, well, y'all seen
- 18:36me kind of against R Kelly. But if I put a liah on.
- 18:41Is that count because which about Kales who has a catalog of working with a
- 18:47lot of people writing songs for a lot of people. So does it extend
- 18:52to those people writing Grammy Award winning songs for a lot of people? He
- 18:57didn't just win his own Grammys. The songs are number one chart topping,
- 19:03career making song. Does that get canceled to it? Well, it's it's
- 19:07the individual should it's an individual? Well, the first album, the first
- 19:12album is that was Everything was written by or produced by R. Kelly.
- 19:18Everything else is okay as far as her catalog goes. Wait, but the
- 19:25first album, the first album is the best album that was that was produced
- 19:30by Timberland and Missy four page letter, that was timbling, No, that
- 19:37wasn't for no, that was or one in a million? Yeah, well
- 19:44I still think that first back and forth or aging that's but the number that's
- 19:48R. Kelly. Well, and I'm saying Diddy, So we're talking about
- 19:52Biggie, We're talking about seven O truth. People might just go as his
- 20:00albums like listen to No Way Out Anymore, but some some I made one
- 20:06hundred million off of Mary j I've seen but you're not play my song.
- 20:11Instagram Radio New York DJ still struggle to like they still want to play all
- 20:17about the Benjamin's like, we gotta play at least that one. If we're
- 20:19gonna you know, if we're gonna limit ourselves, we're gonna play at least
- 20:23that one song. So it's still it's an individual choice because well when it
- 20:37first started, if someone will requests say, hey, don't play no R
- 20:41Kelly, I respect that. But if I'm in the club or I'm doing
- 20:45something, no one says don't play Diddy, don't play R Kelly, I'm
- 20:48gonna play it because, like you said, that's part of our musical history
- 20:52as far as R and B and pop. And at the same time,
- 20:56if we only really dig, we can go pull a lot of artists music
- 21:00and not play it because of some of the things that they have done in
- 21:03the past. So I mean, if that's the case with the it'll be
- 21:07limited. Yeah, I know that. That's why I was saying. Does
- 21:08it extend to the songs that they've they've produced and written or is it just
- 21:15our online listeners have said. Antoine literally says their music is their's music.
- 21:21If we go to cancel all their music. We will lose an entire decade
- 21:23or more music. Walter Echoes, said, Faith Evans, and then Antoine
- 21:29came back and said, Ready to Die. It's coming up on thirty years
- 21:32and that's a classic class. So we just gonna And I mean, I
- 21:34think it's in the top one hundred or top fifty albums of all time.
- 21:40I mean that's what I'm saying when you talk about it in print. Look
- 21:42at those lists the top take that big boole whole bolt was Yo, Cali
- 21:52Cali, uh big get And I'm saying, pick up my girls and hit
- 22:07the body sane tight, Oh sorry, don't go away? Or of The

- 24:57John Wayne Gandy in The Red Show, you know image what you got?
- 25:33That playing so low? Let that come on through? Six by nine was
- 25:37changing afraid. Six by nine were the first speakers that internationally went everybody new
- 25:42made how many six by nine you got back to? Welcome back to this
- 25:49boy shop show. I'm this boy shock, Wayne Gandy, the cancer culture.
- 25:55We're finding out that some people aren't listening to me. I listened to
- 26:00music. I don't think that they are intertwined. And most of you are
- 26:04lying uh and just taking that stance in front of your friends. When that
- 26:10take that come on in the car, it takes you back to wherever you
- 26:15were too in ninety six and ninety seven. You start dancing, especially when
- 26:18you hear that pound pound pound, pound, found, foure found pound bound,
- 26:22bound, found found found bound. We ain't going to bound bound,
- 26:30We ain't gonna nowhere. Everybody starts singing. We even the people accusing him
- 26:41of crimes to be on something because it's bad life. We did do a
- 26:45little research and by the help of our guy, uh, Donny Brown,
- 26:51he let us know that Emma Navarro and Danielle Collins are on the lady side
- 26:59from the US in the Wilmbledon contest. Navarro is the young lady who beat
- 27:04Cocoa Golf, and on the mail side Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul. And
- 27:12none of those four names do I know at all at all. Maybe you
- 27:18know, and hopefully they will become household names, but right now unknown Americans
- 27:25over in Paris getting the job done. Bronnie James was supposed to play yesterday,
- 27:33but he had knee soordness. The Bad producer says that in his chat
- 27:38room, him and his guy friends had decided that Bronnie James from listening to
- 27:47how he brought the story, he felt like Bronnie James was not hurt and
- 27:53was not experiencing knee soreness. So I don't know why Bernie James would fake
- 28:00the soreness. He's not going to play that much. But he did not
- 28:06play on the back to back night in what they're calling the California Classic.
- 28:11Yes, California. They probably all the California teams play like a round robin
- 28:19and it's not like it's not really a tournament or anything. It's just a
- 28:22round robin of And now, what were some of the comments you said they
- 28:26were making on social media? No, I mean, I have no problem
- 28:30with him missing the game. It's just that when they said it was when
- 28:33the news came out because after his debut on twenty one minutes four points to
- 28:40rebound something that twenty one minutes, then everybody went to like, oh,
- 28:42he's not playing today. On the back to back. So it was a
- 28:45lot of people just saying it was a lot of meanings like load management are
- 28:48already in effect, He's already learned how to do load management and why why
- 28:53is that funny? Hey, mister James entered. Senior entered that some people
- 29:00feel as far as I'm gonna take the night off, Lebron James did not
- 29:04introduced that. Now you're now you're lying on air on the man. I'm
- 29:10just I'm just his name was brought up in the thing. It said he
- 29:15learned from how to do load management from And why don't you ever take a
- 29:21stance and let those people know that they're wrong? That would be if if
- 29:26it's right, it's right. But I'm not gonna go along with wrong.
- 29:30I didn't go along with him. I just was just reporting what it said.
- 29:33I didn't have no problem with the young man sitting out yesterday. That
- 29:37wasn't your tone. You got here like an hour and two minutes ago.
- 29:41You had a different tone, and you you made it laughable. And these
- 29:45are the things you wanted. When I asked you why you want to talk
- 29:48about that? You on the other side of it. I thought it was
- 29:52funny because how the people saying that, the load management and the jokes.
- 29:59Man, I thought that was fun I thought it was funny. Man,
- 30:06it was funny. Man says he was swelling maybe his knee laughing about it.
- 30:11He swollen up and we laughed and we laughed. Oh man, that
- 30:18inflammation. I'm gonna tell you and for you people out there, that is
- 30:23right. If you've never played in the NBA game or a professional game,
- 30:27you don't know how your body would react. Brinnie James is thirteen months away
- 30:33from a heart procedure. It's also his first NBA games. These could have
- 30:37easily swollen out there. He hasn't been running this much. College pros two
- 30:47different things. People, that's hitting you, banging you. So social media
- 30:53always are proven to me, Why don't get into you because most of you
- 30:57have no idea what you're talking about. You're just making statements of what it
- 31:04is and how it is. But justice all day training that he might have
- 31:10been doing for the last since he got drafted, his body is not used
- 31:14to that, used to that. What do I talk about young players coming
- 31:18straight from high school or one year in college getting on it, and they
- 31:21some of them wound that college their body is not ready. They think it
- 31:25is, but they spend the first two three years trying to figure out how
- 31:29to keep their swelling and their knees and joints like that down. So for
- 31:34you social media people, and speaking of which Antoine says, the hate for
- 31:38LBJ is absolutely amazing. Lebron never did load management. Better check with Kawhi
- 31:45Leonard on that. And then he said, the jokes made of lies are
- 31:48lies. Let this young man carve his own path. Bad producer, producer.
- 31:55He didn't say bad producer I had. I'm saying that in all transparency.
- 32:04Get that part because he definitely was addressing you, I'm surely. And
- 32:12then he had his status. I don't know what y'all expect from these young
- 32:15kids. The boy in nineteen, he'd have been a sophomore next year,
- 32:20got an NBA game. What a thrill that could be for anyone. Sometimes
- 32:27on I say on the show, we do more criticizing than we do celebrating.
- 32:32To be to have a chance to do something on a professional sports platform
- 32:37is has seemed to get get and reduced to a mediocre affair when it's one
- 32:49of the biggest things you can ever engage in. Yeah, my son bunk
- 32:55dinner, and I talk about it for three years. You know. I
- 33:01remember the time the boy about the whole Avenue dinner. We just sitting there
- 33:06and he said, hold on, I got this, Pops. I said,
- 33:08look at that boy right there, and now hear your sign on the
- 33:12whole perennial storied franchise. I mean, people, just how can a man
- 33:19be nepotism? When the scout said that Bronnie James went from about seventy to
- 33:28about sixty in the NBA workout well before, like the in the rankings,
- 33:37in the rankings when they first got it was like ninety to fifty. Yeah,
- 33:39that's what I'm saying. Well, and he got drafted in fifty five,
- 33:44and so how is that. It's not like he went and got lebron
- 33:46went and got his cousin, Morris James. It was just like he used
- 33:51to deliver package from Amazon. Now he hooping from the Lakers. Before the
- 33:54injury and the hard thing, he was projecting the first rounder. So I
- 33:58mean, he has the potential and he's gonna be there. I mean my
- 34:02thing is you you look at I was just telling somebody and in defending him,
- 34:07look at r J. Barrett, god Solln, Steve Nash. He
- 34:12was pushed up and where is he? I mean, you barely hear anything
- 34:15about him, So I mean he showed it, shows that he needed it,
- 34:19shows that these guys do what you always say. R J. Barrett
- 34:22is having a solid career in the NBA. He plays for Toronto. He
- 34:24was for the Knicks. Once again, you're hating on a duke player.
- 34:30Example of how people r J. He pushed. No one saying nothing about
- 34:37how he was. J. Barrett is having a better career than the other
- 34:40dukeies. But I'm saying he was pushed came out with him. But he
- 34:44was pushed up, is what I'm saying, because of his who his godfather
- 34:46was. And you didn't make no negative comments about him at that time though
- 34:51I don't remember. Though I ain't no telling what I said at that time
- 34:54about because he was in that Zion and cam up. History can kind of
- 35:00tell us what and recordings we don't really have to. We don't have to
- 35:05jog our brain for the history part of it. You know, we record
- 35:08everything that we say on the show. I might take some searching the engine.
- 35:15Whatever that means. Man, you keep him coming, keep him coming.
- 35:17But you're consistent. Lebron hate and Duke hate is so consistent that is
- 35:23very scary. A cyclist over at Tour de France, I'm gonna mess up.
- 35:29His name is uh Julie Abounaud. I'm gonna go with that, Okay,
- 35:36I'm gonna stand on that. He was fined two hundred and twenty three
- 35:38dollars during the last stage of the race, not the last stage of the
- 35:44last stage that they just had. He stopped and kissed his wife and that
- 35:50is against the rules two hundred and twenty three dollars because you know later when
- 35:58I'm saying, because later when he fund raising test positive for performance enhancing drugs,
- 36:04he's gonna blame it on her. I thought to kids, my wife,
- 36:07and she passed me some peds and she just cheeseburger eating eating cheeseburger in
- 36:14his on a list and it was on her lips. And man, that's
- 36:16why I won at the fourth stay. She went to the ob g y
- 36:20n earlier that day and that day and that's how I got got. I
- 36:23got this. So I just found because I'm always interested in how they come
- 36:28up with the fines, Like how did you stop on two hundred and twenty
- 36:30three dollars. Yeah, he agreed, I wanted to buy something about twenty
- 36:37and then attack. He didn't hug it us like had he actually embraced her,
- 36:42it'd have been two hundred and thirty four. We'll be back more than

- 39:35now back to the sports job, Wayne Anty. You can see a sports
- 40:01Jane. I'll sing even big Janney went back to this war shock. Show
- 40:07this war shock, Wayne Candy. Some sad news coming out of the NFL
- 40:12world. Uh. Kyrie Jackson, rookie cornerback out of Oregon. Also,
- 40:20I played a year or two at Alabama. Was in a car crash over
- 40:23the last couple of days. Two and two of his high school friends were
- 40:29also in the car with him when it crashed. All three passed away.
- 40:37Uh. In this car crash. I'm hoping that it was an accident and
- 40:43it doesn't come back in any kind of sense of racing, raceless reckless driving.
- 40:52We do know it seems to be, especially with the young athlete a
- 41:00lot that we report on drag racing, guys getting pulled over, getting tickets,
- 41:06getting arrested, those kind of things, accidents, getting an accidents just
- 41:10based on and this goes all the way back to that sad case with the
- 41:16Carolina, the Charlotte Hornet, Charlotte Horneck. Yeah, those two basketball players
- 41:22been what about ten that was about was its Wesley some David Wesley, Bobby
- 41:30Phils, Yeah, I think that was about twenty five years ago. Did
- 41:34one of them pass away? Bobby Phil's one passed away? Yeah, and
- 41:37that kind of and then even recently with the Georgia, I don't know if
- 41:43they ever officially said they were drag racing here. What was that about a
- 41:45year and a half ago, the big d N that plays for Philadelphia now,
- 41:51Jalen Carter ca Yeah, yeah, yeah, and yeah, and he
- 41:54he was cited and played guilty too drag racing treat And was it ever that
- 42:04time when the Thrasher Atlanta thrash. Remember he had that wreck. Was he
- 42:07racing or was that just so that was okay? Yeah, but but he
- 42:14was speed was a factor. He started to speed and his lost control of
- 42:19his ferrari and uh, he killed the passenger. I believe the teammate a
- 42:28teammate, Yes, was that dolphin. A lot of different cases came back
- 42:32to him and the dolphins offensive lineman. Was that just an accident or was
- 42:37he like racing? Remember maybe a handful of years ago, maybe five six
- 42:47years ago, O line d Lineman. He lost his leg, had to
- 42:51amputate it. I'm not just different times and since we've been a show.
- 43:01And then when I saw this, and I kept thinking, you know,
- 43:05it's already I imagine hard to accept any of your loved ones dying, but
- 43:12to think that they might have been out there and there was a way to
- 43:15avoid it, you know. And those cars, and I think the thrill
- 43:21of it gets away from you when you get in that kind of yeah,
- 43:25and they were that fever when you race people. This is the thing if
- 43:30you've ever had the exhilaration, I would say, of being behind the wheel
- 43:37of a a supercar, an exotic muscle type car and you hit the gas,
- 43:46how quickly you can lose control of that vehicle, it will scare you.
- 43:51Like I thought, you know, I thought I was gonna get down
- 43:53in it and hold it in the road. But it started doing some stuff
- 43:57I wasn't ready for. And some people don't even realize that until it's almost
- 44:05too late, you know what I mean. You're already going far faster than
- 44:08you can control, and something like this happens, and preliminary reports that were
- 44:13saying like it is speed, but they're not saying because there's three cars involved,
- 44:17but alcohol play has played a part in this. So I'm just wondering
- 44:23if they knew the other Infinity, the car the Infinity and the other car
- 44:28that was in the evolved and who was involved with alcohol and where did that
- 44:31all come about? So young life lost. He was a fourth round pick
- 44:37to the Vikings, hadn't even gotten really to his first year. So he's
- 44:44from that Maryland area too. Wherever he had that car accident was his where
- 44:50he was born, raised, mom family still lived there. So DeMar DeRozan
- 44:57is joining the Sacramento Kings. A trade happened, a three team trade between
- 45:00the Bulls Spurs and the Kings where the Martyrosan now finds himself going out to
- 45:07sacrol mental. Nice piece for the Kings to pick up with the bonus and
- 45:15what socks out there a team that has a lot of talent and someone like
- 45:22a DeRozan even though he's thirty five, he's always been solid that and shows
- 45:28up, you know, shoots his mid ring, plays his game. So
- 45:32nice piece for such a young team in that trade. As we talked about,
- 45:37even with the NBA free agency, it wasn't a lot of big name
- 45:43heah, it wasn't a lot of shopping to do. It wasn't a big
- 45:45list of people. It wasn't really a lot of big names. And once
- 45:50the Splash brothers Clay moved on to Dallas and Paul George opted out, he
- 45:58had to op out to become a free agent to go to Philly. Really,
- 46:01no big Domino to grab. It's a lot of teams that well.
- 46:07Now the way that the contracts work now, it's it's more beneficial for a
- 46:15guy to re sign with his team rather than to go out in the free
- 46:19agency market. No, it's been that way for a while to where your
- 46:22team can sign you to more money. So it's even more so. It's
- 46:27even more so now because guys are getting there signing that the first extension and
- 46:32it be and if teams can go over the cap a little bit to resign
- 46:37their own guys, So for both in both ways, it's like benefiting the
- 46:44player and the team to stay where they are. So DeMar de Rose and
- 46:47moving on thirty five, you have to imagine he looked around the Bulls locker
- 46:52room, didn't feel like it was even enough to go to the playoffs.
- 46:55So maybe I go out here with Fox and Sabone and a couple of pieces
- 47:00out there, Mike Brown might have a chance of going deep into the playoffs
- 47:07if they can get it together. We'll be back more to Sports Duck Show
- 47:09right after this Inside Inside, Don't Let Them Bring Me Down, Don't Go
- 47:22Away, or of the Sports John Show with Wayne Dambidius coming up next.

- 48:19it's beautiful out there, sonny, and seventy five, almost a little
- 48:22chilly in the shade. Now, let's get a read on the inside of
- 48:27your car. It is hot, You've only been parked a short time and
- 48:30it's already ninety nine degrees in there. Let's not leave children in the backseat
- 48:35while running errands. It only takes a few minutes for their body temperatures to
- 48:38rise, and that could be fatal. Cars get hot fast and can be
- 48:44deadly. Never leave a chawn in a car, a message from NITS and
- 48:46the ad council. Hurting the game. We tough it out, feel exhausted,
- 48:51we push on feeling down. We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps.
- 48:57But there are times when bootstraps aren't anough when stress gets to us and we
- 49:01need to talk to someone about what we're really going through. So we're gonna
- 49:06reach out because sometimes mental health is not a one person job. Is it?
- 49:10Love your Mind Today dot org? That's love your Mind Today dot org,

- 49:21And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy center Court on sports news gossip.
- 49:30Blah blah blah blah blah. Yeah cause I got to Hennessy on the
- 49:39Rocks and Long Island. Nice team, Thank you club. You wasn't lying
- 49:45all over the place. Yeah one second, slow down, slow James,
- 49:47get him off? Would you slow down? Back off? Short? Like
- 49:53everyone was chasing my fine ass. But when Alaya walked in the whole place
- 49:57where bananas? I'm playing for more? What shock? Show? This shock?
- 50:01Wayne Marty Rosen, we were just talking about him. One other thing.
- 50:08Damarrow Over the last couple of Days was in the New Kendrick Lamar a
- 50:15video called not Like Us? Can you explain me? What? Not like
- 50:24Us is a reference to when he's saying that commands you. What is he
- 50:30saying? Who's not like us? Drake? And in which manner is basically
- 50:39it's a it's saying that Drake is a culture vulture, that he uses hip
- 50:46hop culture and it's not really. He's not y'all lame. We lit,
- 50:55Yeah, y'all lame. They're not like us. We read we and Drake
- 51:00isn't we isn't Drake isn't real? Isn't like really? The about that life
- 51:08you ain't? You ain't really whatever he raps about, it's not about.
- 51:13He's not really that. He's not flying internationally, living the big life with
- 51:21a bunch of beautiful women, renting yachts he has. That's how he has
- 51:28benefited, but he doesn't rap about that all the time. He talked about
- 51:35his heartbreak and the girl he would like to be with, but she don't
- 51:38want to be with him, so he he tells you he likes to go
- 51:44to the strip club. I'm saying, what part of his life is he's
- 51:47supposed to be fabricating, I guess because I've never heard him tell you he
- 51:52was a thug. He he just says he knows some thugs. Well,
- 51:55how he's used other people's music to benefit himself. I mean like Kendrick Lamar
- 52:06using Drake's name to popularize himself. Now, I mean, well that's been
- 52:14there's been proven. Yeah, it's been showed that, like Drake has stolen
- 52:21cadence from Soldier Boy, like two or three songs like that one. Tell
- 52:24me what's really going on. He stole the whole, He's been considered he's
- 52:30stolen the whole, his whole style from a lot of the Atlanta rappers.
- 52:34And that's where Kendrick Lamar is somebody he's a colonizer because of those different things
- 52:37and how he come in and he stole that whole, Like he'll steal a
- 52:40whole cadance and different things and then put it off as it's himself. Okay.
- 52:45Now, now we talked earlier about the imprint an artist has in the
- 52:51industry and if that imprint should be erased because of something that they've done.
- 52:58Kendrick Lamar is saying that Drake is not about the culture and he's used all
- 53:01of these other people to become relevant. When we go to break play Poetic
- 53:07Justice, it's a Kendrick Lamar song featuring who Drake Hello. But I mean
- 53:15there's a lot of people who together, lot of people do music together,
- 53:20did music together. But makes have a problem with him. So I'm saying,
- 53:23so what I'm saying, you're this He he does on not Like Us.
- 53:30He lists all of the people that he says Drake exploited Future and twenty
- 53:37one Savage, and he lists Quavo, and he lists two chains. He
- 53:42never said came out to Cali did something with me. No. He did
- 53:45say about Tupac. He mentioned about how you use it. He used no,
- 53:49but he did say he has not only not only. I can tell
- 53:54you big Kenny. I didn't know Kendrick did a with Drake Poetic Justice.
- 54:04He did that. Drake did a song with all the rest of these people.
- 54:08But he did leave out the fact that we did Poetic Justice. We
- 54:13did a song. But never so he wasn't a colonizer. No one at
- 54:19a time he's drug. Is he a colonizer? When he worked with Kendrick?
- 54:28When did the colonizing start? Once they realized that Drake was. See
- 54:34he did that song with Kendrick was in twenty twelve, twenty thirteen. So
- 54:37as time has moved on, there's a lot of things that Drake has did
- 54:43in the industry that people have perceived as cultural vaulting, colonizing and doing the
- 54:49different things. Well, like I just said, gave you example of you
- 54:52know, stealing canance. That's what they all used. He used. He
- 54:57used that. Well really truly, they tell the truth. He really was.
- 55:00It was club songs, but he started getting club bangers when he did
- 55:04the joint with Futures. That's what he's supposed to do. And that's what
- 55:06I'm saying, that's no problem. What is Kendrick Lamar doing with this?
- 55:08Not like us? He created a club, But it's not just the him
- 55:15working with Atlanta artists on him doing dance hall or let me go question,
- 55:24let me ask you this. We are here to evolve. So I started
- 55:35in Payne City, Florida, TV dinner frozen hamburger patties, good night,
- 55:47that's a good night. And I was supposed to stay for your comfort.
- 55:55I was never supposed to grow and get in a business that's about art and
- 56:05have the openness to adjust to the market, the market, and back to
- 56:15my original because today you wanted poetry in twenty twenty six, you wanted today.
- 56:21That's what we do. We keep going around and around. I'm trying
- 56:28to figure out when did me supplying to the market what the market wants make
- 56:36me a colonizer. And I don't even want to get that. I don't
- 56:40want to get that deep. No, I want to know why if I'm
- 56:43out here saying I Dodnet made dirty money, you go out and make no
- 56:46money. You make dirty money with the bad producer, you make dirty money
- 56:52with commands you Greg and me, and you'd have made dirty money. And
- 56:54I don't mention myself. That's why didn't mention the colon housing part. He's
- 56:59saying he with the not like us. He was meaning like a lot of
- 57:01the things inside of Drake's camps, a lot of information. A lot of
- 57:05these people want to go with the conjecture. I don't want to go with
- 57:07the conjecture. You're talking about what you think you know and what you what
- 57:12you suppose that I'm asking a simple question when you are pointing out that you
- 57:17have made songs with everybody else to be relevant, but I don't point out
- 57:22that you have made a song with me. That song when we made it
- 57:27made me more relevant. Drake was the more relevant artist when he made Poetic
- 57:31Justice. That's why Kendrick Lamar had him feature on his album, because he
- 57:37was the more relevant artist. He gave Kendrick Lamar credit, and Kendrick Lamar
- 57:43is disavowing that now in an effort to catapult himself forward. This battle bought
- 57:49Kendrick Lamar back into the That's what I'm talking about, Big Kenny conversation because
- 58:00you talking about because you used Drake's name. Please play Poetic Justice, sir.
- 58:09We'll be back from More the Sports Jock Show. This a little bit.
- 58:14I make this pool everybody else bay sic. You live life on it
- 58:16every day basis with Poetic Justice. Poetic Justice ever told you that iFly were

- 58:40Life insurance. Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 58:45of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have life insurance. When
- 58:50I was twenty five, me and my wife were just getting started with our
- 58:52family and thought we lived forever. Life insurance was the last thing on my
- 58:55mind. What about you? Will you be leaving benefits? Or When I
- 59:00was forty, with a kid in college and bills piling up, I was
- 59:02worried how my family was survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment
- 59:06with the insurance informant. Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your
- 59:09family security no matter what stage of life you're in. Now that I'm older,
- 59:14I don't worry about whether I leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 59:16The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn
- 59:20a little or a lot, all you need is the insurance informant to help
- 59:23you build a foundation of security, because without you, your family will have

- 1:01:22welcome back to this one shock show. I'm this one shock waingne Candy,
- 1:01:24good morning to you. If you missed that first, I will go back
- 1:01:28and he and hear it. Uh we we we have a replay on Audible
- 1:01:32and Deezer, Spotify, our iHeartRadio, Amazon and Apple. Uh. It's
- 1:01:38always a great topic to bring up music, especially when you have courts of
- 1:01:44opinion. Yes, Big Kenny is one of those middle of the road guys.
- 1:01:47The bad producer is a he's a he's a Drake hater, so anything
- 1:01:53you say, he's always been that way since I met him. He takes
- 1:01:57everybody over Drake. I wasn't even talking about one versus the other. I
- 1:02:02was trying to find the meaning of the song because the Martyr Rosen was in
- 1:02:07it. And I watched the video and it's amazing how the Kendrid lamars.
- 1:02:15He's not the first person to do it. Keeps beating his chest and doing
- 1:02:22the crypt walk and all these things, like he's still like those people he's
- 1:02:25in the video with as he drives to his Calabasa's Ocean Front security lockdown house.
- 1:02:37But you gave me four minutes, five minutes in a video portraying as
- 1:02:45though you're still there. So I was wondering not like us seem to be
- 1:02:52a hate song versus a guy that's just in the business for what the business
- 1:02:58is supposed to be. We're in the music making business. The hottest city
- 1:03:05in the music making business over the last twenty years in the world of hip
- 1:03:09hop is Atlanta. If you're looking for a bag, why wouldn't you come
- 1:03:15here? So it ain't in Toronto, So I'm gonna find I'm gonna go
- 1:03:22down here. These guys seems to let me in. They want to make
- 1:03:24a hit. Let's make a song. And now because I did that,
- 1:03:30you seem to have decided that is wrong and you start throwing out terms like
- 1:03:39colonization, right, you start throwing out these heavyweight terms that you guys would
- 1:03:46not like people to be saying about you, calling somebody soft and all that
- 1:03:54kind of that's you start. There's certain rapists, paedophile, the foul,
- 1:04:00colonizing, These words are historical. And if you truly feel that way,
- 1:04:10why not pull the track? Why not pull the track that you did with
- 1:04:13give back all the money from what did you say to the name, just
- 1:04:15yeah, you should be giving all that away, saying why not pull that
- 1:04:17track out your catalog completely? Let Drake have that. Let him have just
- 1:04:21his few bars. Take your voice off. We've seen the Beastie Boys go
- 1:04:27back and redo entire albums to take out offensive references because they cared that much
- 1:04:32about what they were talking. And the only reason I have any passion towards
- 1:04:36this because in my years of hip hop, I've watched guys hate on other
- 1:04:41people because they were making music. L L would make music for the people.
- 1:04:47Kris One, if you want to stay here on your political back to
- 1:04:54wherever it is that you keep thinking some of us gonna go with you,
- 1:04:57then do that. But I need to show the number nine. See if
- 1:05:02you take the number nine, it was nine stars on nine universes. Nine
- 1:05:06universes will make you think, well, man, that ain't got nothing to
- 1:05:10do. I need a girl with extensions and I have brings at least two
- 1:05:15pairs, a fendy bag and a bad attitude. I like you, ain't
- 1:05:18I like him? Stopped trying to make it seem like he's wrong for selling
- 1:05:24more, selling more the theater, the same size theater, the same size
- 1:05:32you sold twenty thousand, I sold twenty seven. Our listener, in which
- 1:05:38which is true? Antoine from which out respect. He did say Kendrick had
- 1:05:43three singles that was multi platinum before he did do the poetic justice with Drake
- 1:05:48because swimming Pools and the back seat freestyles were popping before. And what was
- 1:05:54my comments to Antoine Sir? No, I'm just saying, what was my
- 1:05:57comment to Antoine Sir? Read it on the ass, But I never mentioned
- 1:06:00yes. But he never mentioned himself. That's all I'm saying. Everybody keeps
- 1:06:04trying to make this broader argument broad. You said that he needed Drake.
- 1:06:14Kendrick had Doctor Dre, Jimmy Iveen and everybody else he did not need.
- 1:06:17I didn't say he needed, said he used because he needed him. Now
- 1:06:23I used to hate j G. They back jay Z songs was selling.
- 1:06:28Nozzle was just as good as he was from the first day I met him,
- 1:06:32first day I met it, but he was a niece. I was
- 1:06:35one of the first people to ever have his album because his agent was my
- 1:06:41agent. And when he first met me, he didn't know music, so
- 1:06:45he handed me this rapper. This is in my college dorm, same fire
- 1:06:51he spits today. He was spitting me in but his about to tell just
- 1:06:59went so far. The Jiggerman music went higher, boom boom boom, and
- 1:07:05it was it was the same thing. I'm mad at you because whatever I'm
- 1:07:13saying is actually better than you, and a lot of times it is.
- 1:07:16But that don't mean it's more commercial than mine. H to the is oh
- 1:07:20for CHEEZI myniezi, look at my arm, keep it all so free.
- 1:07:26It sounds really elementary and bubble gum. But that's what is selling. And
- 1:07:32again to the Antoines and everybody, the broader argument, I understand we were
- 1:07:39specifically talking about not like us, not like when he mentioned those other people,
- 1:07:45he never mentioned himself in that collective. I'm talking about nine of mother
- 1:07:48songs. When he mentioned the other people, he specifically said third verse,
- 1:07:53I'm gonna explain to you why I say you went to Atlanta and colonized.
- 1:07:57He he's you gotta go listen to again. He didn't say about he said
- 1:08:01specifically he's talking about Atlanta. He was talking about Atlanta. How he used
- 1:08:05the Atlanta artist, the Atlanta people, the Atlanta used Kuavo, how he
- 1:08:11used the future, how he used twenty one. That's what he was talking
- 1:08:15about. And he and the other two verses he did mention California he mentioned
- 1:08:19some other stuff, so I said, you have to listen to it again.
- 1:08:23He did mention those things, he just when he did the third verse,
- 1:08:26and not like us, it was mentioned about how he It was strictly
- 1:08:30about Kendrick pulled a move. Like a lot of people doing music, they
- 1:08:34start a war or they pick a fight with someone that can pull their sales
- 1:08:41up, seals up. And I ain't mad at him for doing it.
- 1:08:45I'm not actually lord him and his people. Before we move on, let's
- 1:08:48make sure you understand this. He ain't wrong for doing that either. No,
- 1:08:54I'm gonna go pick a fight with None of these guys have ever been
- 1:08:57wrong. Rick Ross, start to fight with somebody, that's what you do.
- 1:09:03That's what you do. You try to go get Tom Brady or Lebron
- 1:09:09James to come eat at your resta run if you can. Is that not
- 1:09:14true? And for the record, Atlanta, the other the other songs as
- 1:09:20part of this be led up to this right here, So I those songs
- 1:09:25do matter because it all, it all adds up to this. Yes,
- 1:09:30listen to standalone. It's there's just more context to more context. And and
- 1:09:35also Kenny Atlanta started this few when Metro Bilmin and Future shots fired and Kendrick
- 1:09:43just came in and just solidified. But Atlanta Future and metro Booming started the
- 1:09:48disc and Drake they dropped. They're the first ones start. And again,
- 1:09:53a lot of that is rooted in entertainment. Because if I'm going to criticize
- 1:09:59you for coming to it Atlanta to benefit from collaborating with these people, I'm
- 1:10:04just jump in your beef. You from the West Coast. No, it
- 1:10:08wasn't that wasn't it Atlanta started it. I'm saying that, But Kendrick.
- 1:10:15Kendrick was on one of the songs Metro Booming Future did an album. Kendrick
- 1:10:18is on one of the songs with the I forgot the old forty cow beatda
- 1:10:28uh that's the beat that it's the old California beat. The Metro remade and
- 1:10:33that's where it kicked off. Whe Kendrick started and he started, he mentioned
- 1:10:36Drake's name and mentioned Drake's in that song. But it started with the Metro
- 1:10:40Booming in the Future. So I'm saying he's guilty of doing what he's accusing
- 1:10:45Drake of of You didn't have nothing to do with this, Kendrick. You
- 1:10:47came to Atlanta and inserted Drake's name and basically they went to him and well,
- 1:10:54I don't know. Obviously, that's the point. You know, he
- 1:11:00bully the bully that that's that's how you get your name out there. You
- 1:11:05pick the biggest guy in the group and you jump on him. Even if
- 1:11:09you lose, everybody talking about how you jumped on the big dude and stood
- 1:11:12up for yourself. Yes, simple, it's easy. It's easy. Art
- 1:11:17of war. That's what you try to do. You're not going to say
- 1:11:20somebody else's name. You're going to say somebody bigger than you. Mohammad Ali
- 1:11:26Ain't never call up, call out Bob Leibowitz, Bob Witch. I'm the
- 1:11:31greatest. You don't want none of Muhammad. I know. Joe Frazier,
- 1:11:36he called out all them people that you knew, and you respect it.
- 1:11:40And if he gonna beat the best, he got to beat the best.
- 1:11:45Justin Timberlake, Tiger Woods playing on opening a bar in Scotland. I'm not

- 1:17:17three more clocks and I need to get them out, real Love, Courtney
- 1:17:24Courtney's I don't know, I'm saying I'm a three yells seeker, but bruh,
- 1:17:28come on, come on you. Greg says that there are a lot
- 1:17:33of African American kidneys being thrown away. That the story you was reading Comanche,
- 1:17:42Yes, and they were throwing them away because they don't feel like they
- 1:17:46would last. Basically, they would expire faster. Yet donated kidneys from African
- 1:17:55Americans would lead to kidney diseases renal failure based on data that researchers have received.
- 1:18:08So they've been there and it's a it's a saying it's a flawed system.
- 1:18:12So they may have to go back to the drawing board too to see
- 1:18:15if that's true. But it has been happening. But you can see the
- 1:18:19truth in that, right. Well yeah, I mean they're looking at you
- 1:18:25know, family history and genetics, right, and it's it's possible. It's
- 1:18:30well, it's it's we've seen it. But for those that they may qualify
- 1:18:36or be a match to donate their kidney, they those are being thrown out
- 1:18:44even just because of the possibility of the recipient getting a kid getting hidden disease
- 1:18:51later on. But I'm saying initially, you can see how that in our
- 1:18:57country from our being around friends and families, we we are more sugar based,
- 1:19:08grease based eaters than other cultures might be, so that puts more damage
- 1:19:18on the kidney. Yeah, right, Okay, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:19:25because you're reading it, I'm like, well that's that, you know,
- 1:19:28I don't know what percentage. But I do know. I'm from a
- 1:19:30family where you know it's most likely the fish will be fried, then baked
- 1:19:38and smoke. If you bring some baked. If I need a kidney,
- 1:19:49I'm I'm screwed either way. Yes, just give me the kiddy like I
- 1:19:57might get somebody's kidney that i'm you know anyway, Let me just get kidd
- 1:20:01disease with my own kidney. This is the thing. I think it's interesting
- 1:20:04that these kidneys are being thrown away because people do you give a hungryman rotten
- 1:20:11food, well, and see, this is what I'm saying, you would
- 1:20:15know food with spoiled, but that it was healthy at first. That's my
- 1:20:19point that that's what I was about to go to when we're talking about donating
- 1:20:24organs. Before someone can pull an organ out of your body and offer it
- 1:20:28up to another human being, there is a litany of tests that it has
- 1:20:32to go through to ensure that it is viable to be transported into another body.
- 1:20:39The candidate that's supposed to be receiving this has to have a certain standard
- 1:20:44of health that they've maintained. They'll refuse to give a healthy kidney to someone
- 1:20:47with high risk, so I know that these the first the kidney is viable
- 1:20:54and the candidate is ready to receive it. And once they say we are
- 1:20:58a match, then you get it. If they say the kidney matches,
- 1:21:01but this person's health profile doesn't match, you can't get that healthy kidney.
- 1:21:05So for somebody to go a man like, are these kidneys expired? These
- 1:21:10kidneys ain't no good. They not gonna work out. I think that's a
- 1:21:13little bit ahead of the curve when we're talking about human organs, because I
- 1:21:17didn't know that they disposed of human organs like that. Today was the first
- 1:21:20time that I heard before you try and actually donated or someone actually receive the
- 1:21:28organ, you go, na, this won't work. And if you if
- 1:21:31you donate something when you say your heart right right, everybody heart doesn't get
- 1:21:38isn't valuable to transfer? Correct? Well, I'm saying that so that that
- 1:21:43heart don't even get taken to the donation center. When they go through these
- 1:21:48kidneys, they find that they throw out more of African American kidneys. Yes,
- 1:21:55now, and you're saying fresh out of the body, Now, that's
- 1:21:59the part I'm confused about. Okay, because you only got so many hours
- 1:22:01they got they take them out from a person. I see you're a donor.
- 1:22:06I go and I get to your kidney, and then I go,
- 1:22:11no, this won't work. Is that the process? Okay, we'll see.
- 1:22:15That may be different because you can assess at that moment this kidney looks
- 1:22:19damage. Maybe this dude was a smoker, Maybe they were a drinker.
- 1:22:23Maybe they ate the wrong kinds of foods. So that makes more sense.
- 1:22:26I'm thinking that you're saying, they're just going to the organ donation bank and
- 1:22:30we've got ten kidneys up in here, and oh, this black kidney won't
- 1:22:34work, toss it out. Oh no, not okay, We'll be show
- 1:22:41black markets got issues. I've got this issue you who should be hurt?

- 1:26:15Welco back to this What Shock Show. I'm this war Shock, win G
- 1:26:17and T. We've reached almost a mid season point of the w n B.
- 1:26:25A. Remember the league will shut down for the Olympics, then pick
- 1:26:31up basically for the playoffs and the Championship. The big debate that is still
- 1:26:40raging will be a Rookie of the year Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese. I
- 1:26:47want to say there was a young lady from maybe Minnesota, ne Fessa Collier.
- 1:26:56There was another rookie they were considered ring that got hurt. No,
- 1:27:03not Cameron kay and Jackson maybe or well Katie Martin. She didn't get hurt.
- 1:27:12Another it'll come up. She got her shared her ankle. I think
- 1:27:15she's playing for the Links. She wasn't uh top four or five pick.
- 1:27:20But she's a rookie this year. But the big debate is which side will
- 1:27:28win. I think right now, if you were giving a Rookie of the
- 1:27:32Year, it would have to be a co Rookie of the Year. I
- 1:27:40think it's it's an even match. If I was if I was was watching
- 1:27:45the match, it's an even match. It can get down to the particulars,
- 1:27:51like little things where who's had the maybe the highest response. Busibility has
- 1:28:00fallen on Caitlyn from the position that she plays point guard, so there's always
- 1:28:10that part where she has to run the offense. She has to adjust a
- 1:28:15little more of handling the ball and those kind of things at this level than
- 1:28:21Angel. Angel biggest thing has been playing with women equal or bigger of her
- 1:28:30size. In college, she typically was one or two biggest persons on the
- 1:28:38court at the time. WNBA, we got two or three on each team
- 1:28:44in that same vein. But the stats say right now Caitlin is averaging sixteen
- 1:28:49point one points, six rebounds, seven and a half assists. The other
- 1:28:57day she was the first rookie to ever have a triple double in WNBA history.
- 1:29:04Wow, and that would go back to ninety seven, So the first
- 1:29:09rookie ever in the league to have a triple double. Angel Reese has been
- 1:29:15on a pace of double doubles. She has tied a record for that or
- 1:29:20broken it yesterday. Maybe. As far as points and rebounds, she is
- 1:29:27averaging fourteen points and eleven point seven basically twelve rebounds to go on with her
- 1:29:35season. The team's records, I think maybe Chicago is one game up on
- 1:29:44Indiana, so that's not a big factor. Now, Now do you think
- 1:29:47that Angels assist stat maybe skewed some because they're trying to get the ball into
- 1:29:57her. You see what I'm saying, She's rarely she's a dominant presence so
- 1:30:04you know, when when it's crunch time, she ain't trying to pass it
- 1:30:08off to nobody. She trying to take the shots. So you know,
- 1:30:12maybe that would affect her assist numbers. Well, big men typically or big
- 1:30:16women excuse me, are typically that's the category they lag in. Yeah,
- 1:30:25just like a guard could lag in rebound. Rebound because they're always far away
- 1:30:30from the rim. Caitlyn Clark does a great job, she was explaining,
- 1:30:35because she really likes to rebound and go. You know, most like that
- 1:30:44if they got that jump shot in them, they I can get down here,
- 1:30:46pass whatever I'm gonna pull up, you know, and then having to
- 1:30:49wait for somebody to pass her the ball to go and go. But I
- 1:30:55would say evenly match guys, where would you stand right now? Uh?
- 1:31:00Bad producer, I'm with you. I mean it's based both of them have
- 1:31:03been put on for the w NBA this year. Let's finish the year.
- 1:31:10I mean, you're not hoping both of them make the rest of the year.
- 1:31:14We don't know what what may happen at the end of You may slow
- 1:31:18one of them, you know, chances down and then you'll find a pure
- 1:31:24winner who would be But right now, like you said, it's both of
- 1:31:26them are doing the best they can for the w NBA coman, Yeah,
- 1:31:30it could be, it could be both. I don't know if you could
- 1:31:34just make it a co Rookie of the Year, it's good because I think
- 1:31:38it might be an odd number of voters or anything like that, but I
- 1:31:41think it'll be It'll be really close right now. It really could go either
- 1:31:46way. I know when we were trying to use a type or like who
- 1:31:49has the better has the better record, or Kaitlin Clark has averaged six turnovers
- 1:31:56a game. Also, but Angel Reach just started shooting threes yesterday, so
- 1:32:02hurt Like people say, like, well, Caitln has the better offensive game,
- 1:32:05so it can It's gonna be like pursed down like that to get somebody's
- 1:32:13vote. But just on from what I've seen so far on the surface,
- 1:32:18Yeah, cod Rookie of the Year, if we could make it that then
- 1:32:21and that schooled me and I couldn't think of a w NBA because I haven't
- 1:32:25watched it close enough to know who wins and loses this award every year.
- 1:32:30I was remembering that there was a year I think in the late nineties,
- 1:32:35mid nineties or even maybe Jason Kidd. There was a Grant Hill. Yeah,
- 1:32:44they were cold rookies of the Year, right, Yeah, Jason Kidd
- 1:32:47and Grant Hill, and then Elton Brand and Steve Francis Cookie. So the
- 1:32:54NBA has it, and it's happened, and I know that the w NBA
- 1:32:59is probably thinking, we can't have scripted this any better. For the two
- 1:33:02most talked about rookies, the two most talked about female college players are now
- 1:33:10rookies in the w n b A and are legitimately vying for MVP. It's
- 1:33:14not like one of them fell off so hard that they're out of the conference.
- 1:33:17Rookie of the Year not k of the Years. Okay, So because
- 1:33:21most time MVP is based on the winning team going to the championship. And
- 1:33:26that's what a lot of people you got. Well, Monica mc nutt is
- 1:33:28that her never saying her name right from ESPN, she was saying that she
- 1:33:30would base it on the standings, and a lot she's got a lot of
- 1:33:34backlash about that because she she was saying that she from ESPN saying that she
- 1:33:39would basic let me see what she said. My rookie year goes to UH
- 1:33:44based on the league standing in the sky right now in the playoffs, give
- 1:33:46a nod to age rees. But it doesn't like this, like sports ain't
- 1:33:51gonna said. It doesn't make sense because both of them right now are scheduled
- 1:33:55to make the playoffs. But most time, if rookie of the year is
- 1:33:58just whoever's that better player, doesn't matter about their team. You can't help
- 1:34:01if you drafted to a terrible team, or you know what I'm saying that
- 1:34:04the Rookie of the Year battle between those two particular players will only drive the
- 1:34:10w NBA strate. Oh yes, and so they win all the way around.
- 1:34:15Yeah, it's a thing that they are winning, both of these young
- 1:34:17ladies, and they do two different jobs. And that's why I say,
- 1:34:20and you know we talked, have to talk to NBA. I can speak
- 1:34:26from football as far as listing tough jobs the easiest job, Like it's easier
- 1:34:35to be a running back as far as transferring skills. Right, So it's
- 1:34:46easier to go from a college running back to a pro running back than it
- 1:34:49is to go from a college quarterback to a pro quarterback. It's just an
- 1:34:56easier transfer in certain jobs. It's easy on defense to be a linebacker than
- 1:35:02it is to be a cornerback in your rookie year because there's nothing to cover
- 1:35:09you up. You just over there's a rookie cornerback. You know, you
- 1:35:12ain't used to these these these kind of guys where you know, you're coming
- 1:35:16from college where you were the same size. Now it's some guy here six
- 1:35:23six faster than you. What you supposed to do? Like back up,
- 1:35:28you know what I'm saying. You know, so Sauce Gardner won Rookie of
- 1:35:32the Year a couple of years ago. I don't think I had ever seen
- 1:35:35a corner win Rookie of the Year until him. Yeah, because it's just
- 1:35:41a hard job to transfer. So that's why I said, if in little
- 1:35:45edge and being just being fair, it seems like the transfer being a point
- 1:35:48guard, a day one point guard, because you got that. And you
- 1:35:54can even tell what Caitlin Clark, she's not used to that kind of an
- 1:36:00athlete. So you're just gonna pick me up from the whole court. Like
- 1:36:03you know, these young women so are not scared at all that you buy
- 1:36:09them. Right, I'm gonna have to back you down the entire way,
- 1:36:13say nobody like way down here, and I you know what I mean.
- 1:36:15So you said it's tough for the quarterback, so that wild imagine it'll be
- 1:36:18tough for you as old as the old lineman is because you have just that
- 1:36:21much coverage and movement. There also, no, no, no, old
- 1:36:26line would be the probably the third toughest. Okay, I would say quarterback,
- 1:36:31then cornerback, and then offensive linemen because there's so much information and the
- 1:36:40superiority you might have had in college no longer exist. You know, where
- 1:36:47we used to move people a couple of feet. This guy won't move nowhere.
- 1:36:55That three point thirty is stuck, and you're just sitting there. There
- 1:36:59is no more. That's why you ever notice in the NFL they don't talk
- 1:37:01about pancakes, right, that's not that's not a term. You ain't picking
- 1:37:06nobody and going nowhere. Everybody out here all been six hundred pounds. That's
- 1:37:11why we always That's why we all here. It becomes about strategy angles running
- 1:37:15your feet. But all that picking somebody up and pushing them back, that's
- 1:37:21not gonna happen. They don't pay you for that. But uh, it's
- 1:37:27a close race, and hopefully if it stays where it is, I don't.
- 1:37:30I don't know about standings. They're one game apart. Yeah, that's
- 1:37:32why I said both of them right now for the end today. Both are
- 1:37:35one more game. They're both in the playoffs today if the season ended.
- 1:37:40So we'll be back more to the Sports Jock Show right after this, don't

- 1:40:56I'm gonna sponsor this team. The Olympics are expecting this might be the hottest
- 1:41:03as far as temperature wise Olympics in recent years. Some of the athletes are
- 1:41:12trying to get over a little earlier or move to hotter places to train,
- 1:41:19which I'm quite sure this is typical. Most times. You try to create
- 1:41:24the environment that you are going to play in when when when possible. Sometimes
- 1:41:32it's not. If you're playing for the Miami Dolphins and your game this week
- 1:41:38is in Buffalo, the only way you're going to recreate that is to go
- 1:41:43practice in Buffalo. It's not like you can go over to the facility and
- 1:41:47turn the AC on and think that's going to get that Buffalo win like fifty
- 1:41:55three. That's not even so. With all this heat and all that and
- 1:42:01two steps away from canceling this game. It's so cold, think about it,
- 1:42:08A can't get you cold. And all these AC units the team USA
- 1:42:13is bringing their AC units over. I mean, with it being this hot,
- 1:42:15why did they not put air condition in these at these at the village
- 1:42:20that reading reports where people are bringing in bringing over. Try not to spend
- 1:42:26all that money. They they're sleeping in smaller than twin beds. It's a
- 1:42:31single person bed, and from all these countries around the world. And I
- 1:42:38want to think about, and I wonder if with a lot of these athletes
- 1:42:42too, there maybe at a time where the athlete used to stay at the
- 1:42:50village or stay the entire time. I wonder how many it seems like a
- 1:42:55lot of these Yeah, yeah, okay, you know, it really does
- 1:43:00seem like that they come with enough time to adjust to whatever time difference and
- 1:43:08then perform. But if you ever watch a lot of times, one or
- 1:43:13two times in history, I've ever watched the closing ceremony, yeah, it's
- 1:43:17very few athletes, very very even there A lot of those teams leave with
- 1:43:25a week left in there, or even when a dream team I don't know
- 1:43:28about didn't even stay at the hotel at the village. They was in a
- 1:43:33whole other city. Yes, they were in Monico. You right, if
- 1:43:45our loved one somewhere like he one of us out the mud the mud gring
- 1:43:55grind all being there checking the uh the sheets count? Now this is only
- 1:44:00three hundred twelve. Yeah, this is not twelve. Somebody broun what's going
- 1:44:06on in your room? Because you got to make sure the king ain't got
- 1:44:09none. Man, these four hundred count kd Hey man, look it's a
- 1:44:15yacht right outside the window. They don't even know what they just see it
- 1:44:18outside. Let's go here, that's buy it, and let's just stay on
- 1:44:24that. But when the Dream Team went over there, and rightfully so,
- 1:44:30they didn't feel like they felt like they were going to get hound and it
- 1:44:32was a lot of good reasons why they didn't. But I'm just saying in
- 1:44:36this in this Olympic village, I've wondered over the years, whereas I used
- 1:44:43to have to come over here and wait because Team USA Flights wasn't gonna take
- 1:44:48your back all of that. Now there's modern a lot of independence. The
- 1:44:54modern modern athlete under armour was just flying is getting flown over by freeo lay
- 1:45:00or something potato chips. She on some private jet and and we have different
- 1:45:04comedy. I got an airbnb. I'm yeah, I got a vella somewhere
- 1:45:10in Monica because remember the time the Dream Team they coming down. Yeah,
- 1:45:16all of that taking some notes. Look, girl, you don't want to
- 1:45:19stay in that Olympic V because I'm running Tuesday through Friday and that's it.
- 1:45:28CHICII in straight from Amsterdam. Yeah. So that's why I think maybe they
- 1:45:31haven't started cutting back almost like why keep investing this money into this idea that
- 1:45:40these people are gonna stay here in this two three weeks? Check the box?
- 1:45:45How many days are you gonna stay? Are you gonna stay apt for
- 1:45:47the whole two weeks? Because I think the NBA, I think the basketball
- 1:45:50doesn't start for like a week week. A lot of the events don't track,
- 1:45:55doesn't even start for like ten days after a lot of the events are
- 1:45:59like that. And do you want to do those ones go? Sorry?
- 1:46:02Do they go over those ten days before? Or they do they hang back
- 1:46:06and then go over? Well, And I was going to say, I
- 1:46:10know that sports now is just as much entertainment as anything else. And in
- 1:46:13the entertainment business. That's a trend. Yesterday I did a show where it
- 1:46:19was myself and four other performers flown into a city for one day due to
- 1:46:26performance, and fly them right back out. I'm not paying for these hotels
- 1:46:30and meals and accommodations called that's a hard bookings five. We ain't doing no
- 1:46:38sheets twelve and no picking you up and this and all that to the venue.
- 1:46:46You do the show. We got you from the venue back to the
- 1:46:48airport. They stay for the flights and all that, and that's what I
- 1:46:51mean. They could easily attend the opening ceremony, but then I don't.
- 1:47:00My event doesn't start for eight days. So I got on a plane or
- 1:47:05like commanchea saying yacht, and we went over to so and so for the
- 1:47:11next six days and trained. From what I've seen though, like the track
- 1:47:15and field is the end of the first week, like the first day is
- 1:47:19the opening ceremonies is the twenty sixth on the second is when all the track
- 1:47:26and field will start. So it's it's during the first week. So we'll
- 1:47:30see how the Olympics go. But then I'm quite sure you're adjusted to it.
- 1:47:33And really when you talk about the heat. You're just talking about the
- 1:47:36outdoor events, the track and field, the things you know, what do
- 1:47:45they call it, the row rowing, crewing and those kind of events,
- 1:47:48the mile, the marathon, that stuff. But you got a lot of
- 1:47:53indoors because yeah, a lot of team don't care about Yeah, the cycling
- 1:47:57events are indoors. Some gymnastics, the swimming, the swimming, those things
- 1:48:00that most of us watch aren't going to be really affected by the heat.
- 1:48:05We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this. Everything ain't nobody
- 1:48:13no crazy. Everybody you pray, baby, I've been over season crazy.

- 1:48:40even to my doctor, but I'm glad I did. She told me it
- 1:48:43was postpartum depression and that is very treatable. These days, things are feeling

- 1:49:32Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece of financial security,
- 1:49:38yet only forty nine percent actually have life insurance. When I was twenty five,
- 1:49:42me and my wife were just getting started with our family and thought we
- 1:49:45lived forever. Life insurance was the last thing on my mind. What about
- 1:49:47you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills? When I was forty,
- 1:49:51with a kid in college and bills piling up, I was worried how my
- 1:49:54family was survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with the insurance
- 1:49:57informant. Information gives you power and life insurance gives your family security no matter
- 1:50:01what stage of life you're in. Now that I'm older, I don't worry

- 1:50:09whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a little or a
- 1:50:12lot, All you need is the insurance informant to help you build a foundation

- 1:51:42that? No, no, no, no no. I think it was
- 1:51:49part of the organization's long term goal of basically trying to reduce its carbon footprint
- 1:51:58bit kenny, which try not to be so we're going green basically, right,
- 1:52:02So silent racing. I just seen well, young man, you know,
- 1:52:09sounds like a mosquito, sound like a musk. So you've seen the
- 1:52:15new Tesla, those big cyber trucks. Cyber trucks. That was a gentleman
- 1:52:20that was just supposed to They said he charge his truck for twelve hours and
- 1:52:27he only got to get to go one hundred and thirty miles. So I
- 1:52:30don't see how that's gonna How you gonna car racing. You gotta charge,
- 1:52:33you gotta check, get gas, gotta refuel, you gotta change the tire.
- 1:52:38I mean, how this is gonna work in car racing? Just change
- 1:52:40batteries and the batteries they say, the batteries is can they change the battery
- 1:52:45in like less than it? They just dropped the charge it right, but
- 1:52:50now you'd have to understand it. I imagine that the other mechanics of the
- 1:52:56car will stay the same. But taking the tires off fueling it. Well,
- 1:53:00it won't need fuel now, So that's maybe if it takes a man
- 1:53:05twelve hours just to get one hundred and thirty three miles, Well that was
- 1:53:09for the cyber truck, but there's other stories. Which is a truck and
- 1:53:14I'm sure a lot of people in the winter they couldn't charge because of the
- 1:53:17winner with the cyber station, charging stations won't have that problem. And see,
- 1:53:21this is the thing bad. So they already know what's going on.
- 1:53:25They haven't gave us all the information in which is they hold him back.
- 1:53:28This is the point. A lot of times the new emerging technology is tested
- 1:53:32in these high stress industries. So the new phone that you got right now
- 1:53:39that's coming out is being used by people that are in military locations right now
- 1:53:44so they can get the most strenuous test work out of it. These people
- 1:53:47are doing ground breaking electric car engineering and all of it will hit the sales
- 1:53:56floor soon. But they want to solve problems like that, how do we
- 1:54:00make this car go one hundred and thirty eight miles an hour for four hours
- 1:54:04straight? I gotta go two hundred or two hundred plus that I'm tying for
- 1:54:08the one hundred and thirty eight. That's what that's my thing is what do
- 1:54:11you do about the fan that goes strictly because they love the roar of the
- 1:54:15engine. Just what that start your engine? That's the best thing about the
- 1:54:18nascars. Just like hearing them start and when they go by that one time
- 1:54:23and just in that ten or twelve seconds you're hearing the war. It's part
- 1:54:26of the attraction. So how do you eliminate that? That's what I'm saying,
- 1:54:30eliminate legends is part of the attraction. Gentlemen, start your engines.
- 1:54:34That's for us, this new generation. But that might not be the storyline
- 1:54:41for the twenty five year old, right, So got you gotta remember I'm
- 1:54:46not putting it out now. We ain't talking about no regular twenty five year
- 1:54:51old. We're talking about twenty five year old NASCAR fang Dale Junior and Bubba
- 1:54:57Bim. Grand Daddy was by Bubba, and we gonna stick with Bubba.
- 1:55:02Yeah. That's how I think. That's why NASCAR is trying to get away
- 1:55:06from trying to get because they don't have a good young base. You're right,
- 1:55:14and they're and they're actively recruiting, correct, They don't have a good
- 1:55:17young base. The sport is still supported by the forty eight plus group.
- 1:55:27Yeah, but then the young group is just going because their parents is making
- 1:55:30them. But lately, though, they've been trying to associate NASCAR people over
- 1:55:34the last few years with certain political views, and that's been one of the
- 1:55:39problems too. If you feel like NASCAR, you're this on this side of
- 1:55:43the isle, and you're and you probably like guns and all this and this
- 1:55:46and that, because basically where it comes from that would be you, Like
- 1:55:54I said, I love gas, we need to keep gas cars, and
- 1:55:57we need not to do anything else that they're trying to do a table restaurant.
- 1:56:00But you're on that side of the pile. I'm on the side of
- 1:56:04you cool. You cool with bullet bending machines. And that's a Nascar thing
- 1:56:11I've ever heard. President Biden last week, I could have sworn I saw
- 1:56:17this article. He was letting the governors know that he needs more sleep and
- 1:56:26and and interesting enough said that he won't be scheduling events after eight pm.
- 1:56:31And and it's interesting to me that A I didn't pitch this earlier. That
- 1:56:36Did I get that article right? Did you see something like that I had
- 1:56:40not. I know, his age released something that said he struggles after four
- 1:56:46pm. So you know, we're gonna give you that seems like I'm putting
- 1:56:50in an extra hours. I'm gonna do that extra foe. But I heard
- 1:56:55that a radio host got fired for an interview with President Biden because his campaign
- 1:57:01sent them the questions that the host could ask. And once the radio station
- 1:57:06found that out, they fired that person and that that person resigned because that's
- 1:57:11not the impartiality that they were looking for in interviews to fire them. Okay,
- 1:57:15so you're not supposed to be able to really, Joe. So was
- 1:57:20it the Biden camp? It was the Biden camp. No, it was
- 1:57:25the radio radio host, because you know, I'm supposed to be asking you
- 1:57:29the questions that But but he went in with the Biden camp. He agreed
- 1:57:32with them to accept it and do that. So, like you said,
- 1:57:35he should have been fired. He should have, you know, And I
- 1:57:38believe it was she well, which infuriates him more because he doesn't like women.
- 1:57:45No, I love power at all. I love women, not at
- 1:57:48all, colonized colonizer. I love and we are in the truth is he
- 1:58:01will throw you to the Ocean. It's time to wrap things up on the
- 1:58:06Sports Jug Show with Wayne Kenny. When you're the towns in Ocean gets the
- 1:58:25sport shout testa minute to Vin would like to thank you for tuning in to
- 1:58:28today's show. If you missed any of the show, you can go to
- 1:58:32Apple Podcasts, Amazon Podcasts, Spotify, Dezer, Audible, or iHeartRadio and
- 1:58:40catch the rebroadcast. Met Kenny commands your Greg Bad producer. Thank you for
- 1:58:45your contributions today. And the guys told me last week it's up to my
- 1:58:51discrestion if I want to circle back to anything for the Ocean. And I
- 1:58:58decided that when I buy my asperis and my tomatoes, and I stop over
- 1:59:05there for some extra sharp cheddar cheese, pick up a loaf of bread,
- 1:59:14and decide that tonight I'm making spaghetti with meat sauce. I don't need to
- 1:59:20mix my violence with that order. I don't need to pick up a twelve
- 1:59:29pack of twenty two slugs. I just don't need that at that time.
- 1:59:33I would like to keep my produce and my violence. Well, you know
- 1:59:38it's how you food set people off. Though, So Alabama and Oklahoma,
- 1:59:44Texas with this idea I don't know about Texas, and I didn't need that
- 1:59:50remark put in their DMC. I was doing my own solo over here.
- 1:59:56I'm just reporting on the two states I know, Alabama and Oklahoma havings.
- 2:00:01Bending machines with ammunition at the grocery store just is not right. It seems
- 2:00:10to me to perpetuate the mindset of violence all the time. It's okay to
- 2:00:17let some violence go, and for that, bending machines at the grocery stores
- 2:00:26buck the plank. We hope you have a good week From the sports Shop
