Latest / My First Dungeon / DIE: Episode 1 - "Welcome to Glorthalion"
Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_03]: Hi everyone, this is Brian, your friendly neighborhood game master and host of my first dungeon.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_03]: This is episode one, but die is a game that really begins with character creation.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_03]: So if you haven't already listened to episode zero, I highly suggest you start there.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_03]: But either way, enjoy episode one.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_03]: And welcome to Glorithallion.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_03]: About two and a half weeks ago, you guys got a email blast that came out on Facebook that we're coming up to our 20 year high school reunion.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_03]: And about like two days after that, you all got messages on like social media, emails, text like wherever everyone kind of got it in a different way from Danny.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_03]: You're like, hey, you guys coming to the reunion, I really want to get another game together.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_03]: When you guys got this message, what did each of you say?
- 1:00[SPEAKER_12]: I think I saw this email while I was at work.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_12]: Probably like so on this page.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_12]: I opened it and saw this in right.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_12]: And I think almost immediately that I did a very exhausted me.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_12]: I think like on a work day or at least right after a work day, something like that.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_12]: and you even have to go straight from the work to the union or have to gain the social battery to write that courage to talk to the boss and be like, hey, can I get this day off?
- 1:32[SPEAKER_12]: And I just exhaust, just that I dare to exhaust it then.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_12]: So I think they didn't reply and feel like maybe two or three days.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_12]: But then at some point, I think maybe his wife encouraged him, probably brought up to his wife and was like, yeah, he should go talk to your friends.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_12]: You barely have a social life.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_12]: But the way I think his wife, his wife's name is Hannah,
- 1:50[SPEAKER_12]: But yeah, and I even think, I don't think Hannah replied to the emo for him.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_12]: He was like, I don't want to give you a phone.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_12]: I just replaced that emo thing.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_12]: Yes, you know, could be there.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_12]: They just hand a band away at high.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_12]: I don't think you can do it.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_12]: Definitely go into conversation with Danny for a bit.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_12]: But essentially said, yes, you know, could be coming.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_11]: I think adding to Enoch's exhaustion was probably that it took a little while, but Kelly answered immediately along with a doodle trying to set up time.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_03]: Kelly, I think right when you answered, you immediately got a message back, it was like, hey, do you want to play in your parents' basement again?
- 2:40[SPEAKER_03]: Like, with that B.O.K.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_03]: is it still like your parents still own it?
- 2:42[SPEAKER_03]: We still play there?
- 2:44[SPEAKER_11]: And in Kelly's scheduled weekly Zoom call with her parents, they confirmed that we can still work in the basement that they might just have to clean up a little bit of piles of board game pieces.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: The basement is littered with mepals.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_12]: Mep was a monopoly money.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_11]: Yo, you know what it is?
- 3:10[SPEAKER_11]: Is that the basement?
- 3:11[SPEAKER_11]: Ned made a mistake where it was like instead of ordering like 100 potatoes, you ordered 100 boxes of potatoes.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_14]: Mm-hmm.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, and there we am.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_11]: The basement of the house.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_11]: There's like not as much room down there.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_11]: There would have been before, but like we could definitely make some room down there.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, I think as as soon as Ned saw the email, he started like frantically trying to remake the basement and to what it was when they played down there and just like stacking boxes of yams.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_14]: It's a montage of trying to stack the boxes.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_14]: The box is falling over potatoes getting
- 4:02[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, yeah, the Kelly's on the call on the zoom call with her parents and just in the background You're just your like thump thing Anna, would you think
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: I think Anna it was like a shot through the heart when she got this email because she it seems like we've all kind of lost touch except for maybe Kelly and Ed like through Bob and Susan and so this being like the first time that she'd heard from any of these people and so long and she's just going through this breakup and it was just like.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: she kind of viewed it with like dread and exhaustion like e-knock a little bit and if it's okay with you I don't think she did respond and she has this moment before that she this like before she even enters the coffee shop like kind of will she won't she show up and then she does because we're about to play a game about it but
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: I think even she maybe didn't know until kind of last minute and maybe even like dropped in her jumped in her taxi like the love and power and drove from Reno to wherever we have our eyes clear wherever we grew up.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_03]: I would have really loved it if you were just like, yes, she didn't go, but I want to jump into places to hand.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: No, that's okay.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_14]: I got it.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_14]: I got it.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_14]: I got it.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_14]: I got it.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: I got it.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_16]: I got it.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_16]: I think when you texted, texted him, Jay was like, yo, daddy!
- 5:54[SPEAKER_16]: Hell yeah, man.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_16]: I'm down.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_16]: I just canceled my trip to Miami.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_16]: So I'm fit to play a quick question.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_16]: Can Brett come?
- 6:09[SPEAKER_16]: Who's Brett?
- 6:12[SPEAKER_16]: Oh, uh, you know, you're a Brett, uh, he was, he was the, uh, I'll just tell him, uh, maybe he finds me going to do it every month.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_03]: You get a lot of, you get an ellipses on your text and then it disappears and ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your text and then you get an ellipses on your
- 6:50[SPEAKER_16]: uh... yeah that's that's fine i guess yeah he had a problem yeah i'll make sure we have an extra chair and i'll make him a character sheet in case i guess yeah i don't totally uh... you know he might just be in the corner listen to his music uh... he might if it's cool with you maybe he can play some music for us while we play uh
- 7:10[SPEAKER_03]: All right, can you can you send me his his number all like send him a playlist of like the vibe I think I'm going for so he's not, you know So we're at least on the same pain.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_16]: Oh, yeah, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_16]: You can check out his actually sound cloud actually and I send you his
- 7:25[SPEAKER_16]: You eat spiky, right?
- 7:27[SPEAKER_03]: I just love that dude, like, I just love that dude.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_11]: I just love that dude.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_11]: Hending legal action from Drake.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_03]: You immediately see an ellipses.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_03]: And then I just actually text dot dot dot.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_03]: And then just yeah, okay, I'll see what I can do with this.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_03]: Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_14]: I'm just, I'm just trying to imagine like a worse gaming experience than like having your high school bully sitting in the room not playing, just watching you.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_14]: Yep.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_12]: That is the worst.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_12]: I'm saying that both of these are funny as well.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_14]: Hey, is it cool if this guy who thinks this is lame comes and just doesn't participate?
- 8:14[SPEAKER_11]: This is like really mean bully cogs and judges, that's true in the corner for a little while.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_12]: Remember to give your black eye?
- 8:20[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, can he come over, just hang out with us while we're playing?
- 8:24[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_12]: I promise you, super chill.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_12]: Here we go.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_12]: He's a mellow doubt since then.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_11]: Um, I think also to have one of the biggest is Kelly after like a little bit of time had passed and and Anna still had not answered Kelly definitely shut off like an individual email to Anna that was just like, hey, you know, I know we haven't talked it really long time, but like.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_11]: I hope you're doing well and excited to potentially see you and it basically is doing kind of like a check-in because she realized that you were the only person who she's doing the mom thing.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think when she gets that email, that's when she's like, has a moment she's like, oh, maybe she's not even willing to admit this to herself but like these people still care about me or
- 9:16[SPEAKER_01]: and speed away through the Reno Knight.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_01]: The Reno Knight.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_03]: I really can't wait to add music to that part of just like, do you do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do
- 9:46[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe somewhere that's not too far driving distance from the room that's true, you are coming from Reno, Arizona, Arizona.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, yeah, clap, great state class.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_11]: Should we should be in like a suburb of Phoenix?
- 10:00[SPEAKER_03]: We're just outside of Phoenix Inn in Halcyon, Arizona, that from Halcyon High, and you guys all make it in, whether by playing, by train, by taxi cab, and as you guys walk in through the door of the Beanstalk, familiar and unfamiliar, I'm gonna ask you to,
- 10:20[SPEAKER_03]: let your real life personas as we know each other, Nathan, Abby, Drak, Carolyn, Chinook, fall away, and instead become Enok, become Anna, Kelly, J, Ned, and Danny.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_03]: As you guys enter this familiar space, you guys see bodances and behind the counter like they're greeting you.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, how is it?
- 10:42[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my, you look out, look how big you are.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_03]: They're like, looking at, at a jame.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, we saw you on the television just the other day.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_03]: And you're really like, they're watching like at ESPN Classic Game or something.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_03]: You were so good with, you got the, what are the kids called, the hoops, the shot when you do, you know, the skyhook?
- 11:01[SPEAKER_03]: I remember a guy used to read that.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_16]: I used to read that.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_16]: All right, hey, Mr. and Mrs. McIntyre, great to see you, too.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_16]: It's, uh, thank you, the, how are you?
- 11:09[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_03]: But we're just doing, we're doing fine and dead, you know, it's just so good to see all of you again, you know, it's great to have everybody back, you know, it feels like some of the best days of our lives, you know, we're just seeing you guys hanging out down there bringing you down some snacks, you know, I mean we get to see net all the time, but it's it's nice to, you know, have Kelly back, you know, she is when she can, you know, mother always wants a little bit more.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_13]: But it's just, you know, it's just nice to see y'all.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_03]: What, I won't keep you.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_03]: Can you actually keep taking this straight?
- 11:43[SPEAKER_03]: I made some extra cinnamon rolls, and there's some snacks and things.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_03]: You can take it all down.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_03]: If you need anything, just, just hollow it up, okay?
- 11:51[SPEAKER_11]: This point Kelly opens the door from the basement and she's like, oh my god mom like I got so many snacks already like we have the snacks for good on Sam you can never have too many snacks.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_03]: I promise you you will go through them you guys were hungry then you were hungry now No, just like go Thanks mom.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_11]: Thanks mom.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_11]: Jay It's really good to see you Kelly.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_16]: What's up?
- 12:12[SPEAKER_16]: You remember Brett, right?
- 12:14[SPEAKER_11]: Oh?
- 12:15[SPEAKER_16]: There we go.
- 12:16[UNKNOWN]: Yep
- 12:16[SPEAKER_11]: Hi, Brett, um, yeah, totally no like we definitely still have enough food for everyone including Brett if Brett Oh my god, are these your mom cinnamon rolls?
- 12:27[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, do these do you remember these these were for oh?
- 12:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you know, ah, and he shows a whole one in his mouth.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you see Brett is still like he was a very fit guy in high school and it's remained kind of that but there's
- 12:38[SPEAKER_03]: Just a little bit of a gut and it's like coming out his hair is just like pulling back just a little bit is You can see someone who's trying to maintain everything as much as possible and time is just getting ahead of him
- 12:51[SPEAKER_11]: Breast definitely still wearing like the same t-shirts.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah, for sure.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_03]: He's wearing his letterments jacket.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_03]: And it seems like the most well kept of his items of clothing.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_03]: Everything else is like nice for his little worn.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_03]: The letterments jacket has been like recently dry cleaned.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_11]: Rep, yes, totally, so, so good to see you.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_11]: Were you gonna play the game with us?
- 13:19[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I was thinking about, you know, J.U.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_03]: was like explaining the game to me and honestly, it was like seem kind of a little like weird no offense, but like I'm not really into this, like, you know, kind of like weird fantasy shit, again, no offense, but like I was thinking like, I'm trying to be like a DJ.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_03]: So I was thinking like, maybe I'd like, I'd set the vibe, you know?
- 13:40[SPEAKER_11]: till that actually, you know what?
- 13:41[SPEAKER_11]: I have like a really important job for you, Brett, if you're down for it.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_11]: So my parents have been trying to like mix up the music that they play in a shop.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_11]: Could you like help them with a playlist, or something for a little while?
- 13:52[SPEAKER_11]: Well, we just like kind of get started down stairs and Kelly's very much hoping that Brett will get so into it and so distracted that he will spend the next however many hours, simply creating a playlist for the Beat Stalk, rather than ever coming down the stairs into the basement.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I want to do?
- 14:10[SPEAKER_03]: We haven't rolled any kind of stats for anyone yet, but I'm going to have you make a charisma roll.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, hell yeah.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_03]: So a base, people, all of your stats, strength, dexterity, charisma, intelligence wisdom, and constitution are all two.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_03]: This game is a D6 based, die full system.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_03]: So you're going to be rolling two D6.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_03]: If you get 45 or six, that equals success, the challenge rating on this is zero.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_03]: So all you have to do is roll one of those two dice that's either a four or five or six.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_16]: Uh, wait, can I give her, uh, like the help action or something because I genuinely think this is a good opportunity for Brett to promote himself.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'll let you get advantage so you can roll, you can roll three dice and stuff.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_11]: I guess we're all at third death.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_11]: Wait, don't get roll this one.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_11]: Brett, it's like really good phrase career.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, that's a five, a six and a two.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_03]: So six is even, we'll get to those later on, but six would be a special, so you get to do something even better.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_03]: So this 60 is the 60s extremely well.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_03]: What look do you see in Brett's eyes as you say this?
- 15:07[SPEAKER_11]: I see Brett immediately takes stock of the speaker situation in the coffee shop and just like all he wants to do in life is make Pylists and set vibes and show off his musical abilities and do all of this and so that he instantly takes it as invitation to not just like make
- 15:37[SPEAKER_03]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
- 15:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's one immediately put their arm around and goes, yeah, this will let me change everything about your story Just trying to keep up.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't know if this is a customer or if it has no idea what's happening.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_16]: Jay gives his credit card to Brad and's like, bro, change it up change up the vibe
- 16:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yo, my man and he like gives you some kind of like handshake that like all the kind of Worses I got you.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_03]: I will not let you down.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_03]: This is going to be such a good game night And she he goes off and you see him.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_03]: He pulls out of his laptop or actually inside of his jacket He had like a gun holster, but not for a gun, but for an iPad
- 16:40[SPEAKER_03]: pulls it out and starts, I'm working on some bread.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_03]: I can't believe it.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_03]: You guys head downstairs.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_03]: As you go downstairs, you find Ned is already down there.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_03]: Ned, what are you doing as people start arriving?
- 16:57[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, I am very precariously up on a ladder with this big stack of boxes that I've made and I'm just like trying to put the last one on top.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_14]: Like this, this was the best, this was the most efficient use of the space, there's a lot of vertical space down here, but not a lot of shelving, but the boxes are pretty heavy, so if I just, if I could just get this one here, and then it's, you know, there are more boxes than when we used to play it out here, but it's pretty much the same, uh... Oh no.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_14]: Oh my gosh, hello!
- 17:38[SPEAKER_11]: Hi Jay, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you, good to see you,
- 18:04[SPEAKER_14]: Sorry, ordered them, uh, I gotta remember that we like have to order fewer boxes later.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_11]: It was just that's really efficient in some ways.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, like until these things all go bad, but that's fine.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_16]: You're looking strong, man.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_16]: You working out?
- 18:20[SPEAKER_14]: Uh, sure.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_14]: Uh, thanks.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_14]: Thanks.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_14]: You're you're looking very strong as well.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_16]: Uh, you know, you know me, buddy.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_16]: Hey, I'm a professional athlete.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_16]: That's right.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_14]: That's right, you are.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_14]: Wow.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_16]: Oh, man.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_11]: I haven't aged.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_16]: Oh, yeah, you know, skin, the Turkish skin cream promotion I got.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_16]: You know, that actually it actually generally works.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_16]: Oh, she sent you guys some.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_11]: Mm.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_11]: Wow.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_14]: I tried to skin cream once, but I had a really bad allergic reaction to it, but this one is this one like good for sensitive skin?
- 19:03[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah, you know Ned, I would just stay away if I was you.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_16]: Okay.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_16]: Uh, uh, you have a dermatologist?
- 19:11[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah, okay, well you should talk.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, yeah, Dr. Dr. Feldspar.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_16]: Dr. Feldspar.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_16]: Oh, yeah, yes, you still live in town.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_16]: Obviously it's the same for back in the day.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_16]: Is he anyways?
- 19:26[SPEAKER_16]: I'll get my guy to talk to you guys and we'll get something for you
- 19:30[SPEAKER_14]: That's awesome.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, it's so good to see you.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, go for a hug.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_14]: I go in for a hug, but it's like, you try and do like a cool, like that cool, like, bro, handshake hug, and I like this.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_14]: It's like, oh, it's your hair.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, it's just like, stuck in between the two of you.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_14]: Just one hand pinned between a hug.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_16]: Kind of small for me, like, take them up.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_03]: Wow!
- 19:55[SPEAKER_03]: As this really just happening downstairs between the four of you, I think it is about the time that your taxi cab pulls up.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_03]: And as you park your car and you get out, you see the being stalker.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_03]: It looks just as good as it did.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_03]: It seems like they have done some refurbishing on the outside.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_03]: And you're really still deciding whether or not you want to go in or not.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_03]: The meter you've left it on just to see how high it'll go when you drive from Reno.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_03]: And you see sitting outside kind of like around the corner with like a bunch of papers in his hands You see Danny kind of like pacing back and forth looking like a little bit nervous a little bit Excited but doesn't necessarily notice you he's just like outside reading through what seems to be like some notes for the campaign
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think in a, I'm, I feel the opposite of when I got the email, like seeing in person this person who had so much fun with and who I felt was this, with this group as last time I was really seen and understood totally, it was like, oh, it's exciting all of a seven.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, oh my god.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: And so some of that, I see this like melts away a little bit and then she kind of tamps down that excitement and then, and then, and then, I
- 21:08[SPEAKER_03]: like calls him like he should head or some whatever nickname like kind of bullying me nickname she used to have for him you see Danny looks up kind of like sees you sees the taxi have big smile hits his face like immediately and he just kind of like goes
- 21:24[SPEAKER_03]: You should have any runs of you and gives you like a big bear hug just like squeeze real tight I'm just you can not get your arm is all the way around me.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm just so me around like hitting the tops of the shoulders That's lab to me.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_03]: He had to have a big slab of bacon.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_03]: I'm so I was so worried that you weren't gonna come I thought maybe you I'm I'm so happy here.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_03]: This is so great.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_03]: I was really hoping we could get everyone together and this is
- 21:55[SPEAKER_03]: It means the world to me that you're here, so it's so fun.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, thanks, man.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: I'm glad to be here, too.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm glad to be here, too.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: But I really got a P. I just drove.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, sorry, sorry.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna head into that.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, go on, you know, where you know everything.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_03]: And I think just better one's downstairs.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_01]: Awesome.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see you in there.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_03]: I'll be right down.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_03]: You go in Enoch.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_03]: What are you doing during this time?
- 22:24[SPEAKER_12]: Have you found your way in?
- 22:26[SPEAKER_12]: I think I probably came in later than the first group but just before Anna gets in and I drive up.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_12]: I kind of just sit in my car for a bit with my laptop.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_12]: I've not my laptop and I just see just singing working.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_12]: but maybe like 10, 20 minutes.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_12]: And I'm seeing like this is in like the... Is this in morning, what time, the program, what time?
- 22:46[SPEAKER_03]: I think this is like late afternoon, probably like, you know, 5 p.m. or something, you guys are like, yeah.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_03]: You know, with enough time that you could have like a long session, but you are captured by like sleep time, you know?
- 22:55[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_12]: Okay, in that case, I think at the end of the day, I didn't have the courage to ask my boss for a day or.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_12]: So I think I'm coming back from a day of work straight to this.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_12]: And I've been given some extra jobs and things that need to get done.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_12]: I probably come a little bit early, but I just sit in my car working on my laptop doing it all of the, as much of a job I can do in on a laptop rather than that, to a PC.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_12]: And I walked in just exhausted.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_12]: Like, ice, sunken bags, like I've got a terrible slouch kind of walked in.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_12]: You're like, before I even say anything, I mean, there's a yard over my yard.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_12]: Before I even speak, I didn't greet Mr. Mrs. McIntyre.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, no, it's so good to see you.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_03]: And you see Brett around all of a sudden, like, as he's walking around, he's like, got Bob over one show.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_03]: It's like pointing out the speakers.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_03]: And you see, he like, the speakers in the wall are like tiny, you know, they're like six inches meters.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_03]: They're just meant to like have background music.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_03]: And he keeps motioning his hands bigger and bigger.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_03]: And he sees Bob's eyes get wider and wider.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_03]: Um, all of a sudden, he looks at you like clocks you and goes,
- 24:16[SPEAKER_03]: Nice fucking rig there and he points right at your computer.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_03]: Do you like you produce your producer?
- 24:22[SPEAKER_12]: No, no Stuffed way Angination game immediately turns off Conversation was happening.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so that's what I'm saying like that back to Maybe like 30s.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_12]: I want to like the FMX sales baby See, we see renovating your show what's happening.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_13]: I am not sure what we're just we're just gonna let him
- 24:44[SPEAKER_13]: I remember him as a kid, he was a little, you just kind of let him talk himself out and then he'll fall asleep.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_13]: I used to babysit far, okay.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_13]: So you just, you let him tire himself out.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_13]: You'll go to sleep.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_07]: That's a bread thing to do.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_07]: I was like, I was gonna tire myself out.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_12]: I don't need a nap.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_12]: I don't need a nap.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_12]: I don't need a nap.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_12]: I miss my eyes, my eyes show it and it's black.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_12]: That worked.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_12]: It's probably when he was eight, but he's a grown man if he don't want him around He just cut him to leave.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_03]: You you look over and she she kind of eyes with that like knowing mom Look and she glances over at Brett and you see Brett as he's like motion for a speaker.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_07]: You seem to go I just like I know I'm like, okay, I take that back.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_12]: You know your stuff.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_12]: You always did my where is everyone
- 25:36[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, they're downstairs, was you head on down?
- 25:38[SPEAKER_11]: Wait, Kelly comes up the, because she's heard like someone come in, and knows that this is technically like, after hours or whatever, immediately clocks you, sees the backstreet, you guys.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_11]: Oh my god, Enoch, so amazing to see you.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_11]: Do you want like a quattro or something?
- 25:53[SPEAKER_12]: Give me some rest over the way.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_12]: That would be great.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_12]: Yes, please.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_12]: I'm cool.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_12]: And like, we also have cinnamon rolls down there, um, if you need like a little quick sugar pick me up or like something, but oh my god, so good to miss lunch, working out at you love that, um, thank you Mr. Nakata, I think thank you Mr. Nakata for letting us use your shop again.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_12]: It's honestly, it's good to be back.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_03]: It's good.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it's just good to have you all back.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_03]: I, you know, when you're when you kids move away, you think you forget that their friends were kind of your friends and then when they go away, you, you don't just lose your kid.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_03]: You lose all the other kids.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, mom.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_11]: This is not the team.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_03]: I'm so happy we're going to talk about it later.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_03]: You guys go, you guys go play and she kind of like pulls you out a bit.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_03]: You look tired.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_03]: Take care of yourself, okay?
- 26:42[SPEAKER_13]: I'll try.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_13]: You're eating your resting and stuff.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_13]: Do you want to truth?
- 26:49[SPEAKER_03]: Oh.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_03]: Oh.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_03]: That's all the truth I need to.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_03]: Just just make sure, make sure, you know, take care of yourself.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, but for tonight, go have fun, okay?
- 26:58[SPEAKER_03]: Friendship is the greatest medicine of all.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_03]: So you know, get on down there.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_03]: And if the friendship doesn't work, I've got a nice trucker chip cookie up here for you.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_03]: I hope that's it.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_11]: That was Kelly's been busy with herself with the espresso machine making.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, it's just a whole lot of coffee and also having offered you the instant of enrol.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_11]: And you were like, yeah, no, it's really forgot lunch.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_11]: It's simultaneously making a sandwich because she's like, yeah, it's worth the instant.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_12]: Definitely, you know what I'm like, can't really, like, offer a hug immediately.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_12]: I think they have to see, give you those tight hug.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_12]: You can definitely, like, I think they are.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_12]: They're a bit bony, I think you can probably tell.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_12]: They very much, they very much, they don't admit it, but they very much want this.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_12]: It is familiar prepping right now, but I'll meet you downstairs and you see the rest of everyone.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, they're so long.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_11]: They're at use the handrail, because you look a little univic.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_03]: Getting very real.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_03]: you guys all make it down stairs and you find you guys are kind of like chatting and hanging out Ned has done a surprisingly good job of making this place look just like it did 20 years ago
- 28:08[SPEAKER_03]: There are some like little adjustments that have been made, some improvements that have been made around here over the years, but it looks, it's the same card table, you know, it's the same chairs.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_03]: Those little things that you don't think you'd remember, but the second you see them, they're all you can think about.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_03]: And after a few minutes, you guys sit down and you might yourself be using the same chairs used to sit at, like no one even thought about it, everyone just kind of found their seats.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_03]: and the seat close to the stairs you guys leave open for Danny and as you guys kind of are talking and hanging out a low happens for a short moment and you hear from up the stairs you hear a click of the door as the door opens and footsteps start coming down the stairs in what you immediately remember but had also forgotten in that way that memories kind of slip away an overly dramatic way you hear
- 29:04[SPEAKER_03]: And you guys maybe have played games since then, maybe you would play games before and you'd played with Danny.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_03]: But Danny's games always started when he entered the room.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't when you guys rolled the dice when he said welcome to the world.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_03]: This is like the start of his game.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_03]: You see his performance starting.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_03]: Footsteps come down.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_03]: He looks at all you guys.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome back to Gorethallion.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_03]: Hey.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_03]: He takes a seat.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_14]: He said it.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_03]: Like from the book.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_03]: I hope you guys don't mind.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_03]: I know you guys may have had some ideas for characters you would have wanted to play.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_03]: I kind of went out of lemon like made some stuff for you.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_03]: Ooh.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_01]: Classic.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_03]: And I have something actually for all of you guys.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_03]: He pulls out of a bag on the floor, a very fancy oak wooden box.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe like eight inches by five inches or something.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_03]: He spins around, you see, it's like a small latch key on it.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_03]: And he opens up the latch and freaks up the lid.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_03]: And as the box opens, you see on this blood red satin pillow top.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_03]: sit six polyhedro dice.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_03]: You see a d6, ccd4, d8, d10, d12, d20.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_03]: And these are clearly like gorgeous hand crafted, you know, made from x, y, z gold lettering.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_03]: These are
- 30:53[SPEAKER_03]: If nothing else special objects, looks new and he quickly passes out some character sheets.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_03]: I made some new stuff, I thought you guys would like.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_03]: I hope you don't mind.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_03]: Inak, you liked playing boards and things, and I thought maybe you'd like to try this.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_03]: And he hands you the character sheet for a dictator.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_03]: dictate okay yeah it's it's kind of like a barred but you can you can use your performance or voice like fully control people very cool very very kind of like think like uh i don't know punk barred kind of you know i can get behind this unfortunate name i guess with connotations around that but uh it sounds like fun you see it like he is face breaks for a minute like from the thing and he goes oh shit yeah
- 31:48[SPEAKER_03]: But he like kind of really against myself because Anna I thought you always like doing crazy shit.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_01]: I made a whole new thing called the fool Whoa looks like you're uh, yeah still still controlling the game, but I'll play I'll play along.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_03]: Oh no I thought you guys would like I made this just for you like I thought you would really like I don't know I thought you'd really like it
- 32:19[SPEAKER_01]: She looks over the cheeks like, okay, this looks pretty cool.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_03]: Um, Kelly, um, made a cool one for you.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_03]: There's a little bit of choice to it, but you can be an emotion night.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_03]: That sounds like something you'd be down with.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like what um oh, it's it's so cool.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_03]: You get to you like you pick an emotion So I'm like you know anger fear or or jealousy or something and you use that emotion to like power these crazy strikes like you can level whole towns with just your your fear or your joy Oh, that's like intense.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, it's so intense.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_11]: It's such a cool idea cool I mean if you're excited about Danny, I'll I'm down to clown
- 33:03[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think it's exactly the type of thing, you'd like, and then I've got, and Jay, I got, for you, I know you kind of, you never really got totally into the high fantasy and you always liked having, you know, some like sidekicks or something.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and I know you got really into cyberpunk for a little bit, like you liked some of the like more sci-fi stuff.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_03]: I got this one, it's a little, it'll break the, you know, the fantasy a little bit, but it's called a Neo.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_16]: Oh, okay, the Neo, was that Latin for cool or something?
- 33:30[SPEAKER_16]: What is that?
- 33:32[SPEAKER_03]: You hear upstairs from Brett.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_02]: He goes, yo, yo.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_02]: It means new.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, thanks, Brett.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_02]: No problem.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_02]: I got you.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks, fam.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_03]: From up there, you can you know he's pounding his chest.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_16]: Jay's also pounding his chest down there.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's like it's like AI, sliver, punk, tech, like you can You get like cool pieces of gold that like disappear every day and you can use them like charge up all of your stuff It's it's it's very rad very cool.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_16]: All right.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah, I'm into it, man Great, great.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_03]: I knew you would be I I knew it.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_03]: I knew it.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and uh, net net.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah You
- 34:15[SPEAKER_03]: have so many cool characters.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_03]: If you always play the the Knights, the Paladins, the clerics, you fucked my shit up more than months.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_03]: I thought maybe you'd like to like play with some gods a little bit, like just like that like a little clerickey, a little paladin-y, sure.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_03]: I mean this thing, it's it's a little more like aggressive than a cleric, it's a god binder.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, okay, it sounds like it's like rather than like, you know, working with the gods They kind of like work for you.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_03]: It's kind of like a debt-barter system from miracles.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_03]: It's very Very cool.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, awesome As he does this he passes these out and he goes and of course I've got a thing for each view I've got six dice here.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_03]: There's six of us each one of you is only gonna get one of these dice
- 35:03[SPEAKER_03]: So for the dictator and he picks up a defore and very ceremoniously This is your die.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_03]: There's no other die like this in the whole game This is special.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_03]: This is yours Use it well, dictator
- 35:20[SPEAKER_12]: this thing.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_12]: Gemstone?
- 35:22[SPEAKER_12]: How much was this?
- 35:25[SPEAKER_03]: I'll be honest, they were not cheap.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it obviously took me a long time to track them down.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_03]: I'd heard that they were floating around on message boards, but I got my hands on them eventually.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_03]: It took a while.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_03]: I had to call a few favors, but anyway, anyway, any turns to Anna.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_03]: Anna?
- 35:42[SPEAKER_03]: This is your die?
- 35:45[SPEAKER_03]: There's a lot of die like it in the game as he holds up the D6.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to use a lot of these, but promise it's still special.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_03]: Well, it's actually not this one special, but it's like the other D6 we're going to use.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_03]: But it's still special.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks, I guess.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_03]: You see if he's like realizing he had his whole speech and goes, shit, I really.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_03]: And he goes, use it well.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_00]: All right, all right, Jean, and I'll take it.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_03]: And you hold this in your hand.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_03]: It does have that weight to it of something special.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_03]: Turns to Kelly, picks up the D8.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_03]: Kelly, this is your die.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_03]: The D8.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_03]: There's no other die like it in the entire game.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_03]: This is special.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_03]: This is yours.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_03]: Use it well in motion.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_11]: Thank you.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_11]: Thank you.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_11]: Yes.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_11]: You can totally trust me with this.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_03]: Cool, cool.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, picks up the D10, looks at, at, at, Jai Ma'am.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_03]: This is your die.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_03]: There's no other die like it in the whole game.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_03]: This is special, this is yours.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_16]: Use it well.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_16]: Nice, like a, like a, a, a diamond.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_16]: Hell yeah.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_16]: And then he takes a picture of it, just to bread, like, yo, check this out.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_03]: You hear from upstairs, go.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_02]: You know, that's cool, man, that's cool.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_02]: What?
- 37:10[SPEAKER_02]: Why is that die off fucked up?
- 37:15[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of nine on it, no, that you're not out to use those.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_02]: You brought that to Vegas, what are you doing?
- 37:22[SPEAKER_02]: Shut up, Brett.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_02]: All right, word, word.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_03]: Picks up the D12 looks at Ned.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_03]: Ned, this is your die.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_03]: There is no other die like it in the whole game.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_03]: This is special.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_03]: This is yours.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_03]: Use it well.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_14]: Wow, thank you so much.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_14]: Wow.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, yeah, this thing's got some half to it.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_14]: Geez.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, yeah, this is a custom, custom dice.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, put it on the table, put it on the table.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, like maybe we could have fun rolling it.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 38:06[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, man.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_03]: It's a nice day straight.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_03]: You're surprised because you've seen dice trays in the usually small, just in front of you.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_03]: Yours is like a serving tray.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_02]: Just the wall through.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_02]: The wall through.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_03]: Conspicuously high.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_03]: You thought of everything.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_03]: And you guys look and on this red satin pillow with these dice.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_03]: We're currently sitting there.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_03]: Our five divots and one die remaining.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_03]: He picks up the 20-sided die and he goes, and this one is mine.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_03]: He holds it up, close to the box, puts it on the ground.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_03]: I want you all to do something for me.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_03]: And you see him kind of pause for a moment, playing with you guys back then, men's,
- 39:04[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it meant a lot to me, um, I mean, it's the only thing that's ever meant that much to me, and he's holding up with the hand that has his wedding ring on it, and I just, I'm so happy you guys came back and wanted to play again, and, and, and help, and help me, it means a lot, um,
- 39:35[SPEAKER_03]: you guys excited to play?
- 39:39[SPEAKER_03]: Are you crying?
- 39:39[SPEAKER_03]: Are you okay?
- 39:42[SPEAKER_11]: You're like, what is the help you?
- 39:43[SPEAKER_11]: Do you need something, Danny?
- 39:45[SPEAKER_03]: I just mean, help me, you know, feel this way again.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_03]: Help me play again.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think I know what he needs.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: from us, whatever man, whatever man, he's just here to steal our stories again and publish them for himself, take our adventures for himself, whatever man, I'm not doing anything with them, I'm down to play, whatever.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't, I immortalized you guys, I made you guys part of literary history, I, I
- 40:22[SPEAKER_03]: Make sure you guys looked as cool as fuckin' possible, I...
- 40:26[SPEAKER_03]: They were always your stories, I only got to tell them.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_03]: I just wanted to tell them to more people.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_12]: I mean, do you kind of agree with Anna, you stole the story?
- 40:37[SPEAKER_12]: Leave it to us about it.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_12]: It was still stealing them, Danny.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_12]: You didn't tell us, I mean, at least they didn't tell me, did they tell any of you?
- 40:47[SPEAKER_11]: No.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_11]: No.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, Danny, I mean, I feel like, and I need not really do kind of have a point of like maybe you should've asked us or told us or like checked in.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_12]: I don't want any of the profits.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_12]: I would have just loved to work with you.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_14]: That would have been cool.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_14]: I figured, I don't know, maybe the email just got like sent to spam or something that happens to me sometimes.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_14]: I get mischorespondents, but he didn't tell any of you guys, okay.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_14]: What have been cool to know?
- 41:24[SPEAKER_14]: I didn't think you would care.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_03]: I thought it'd be fun.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_03]: any of you I didn't I felt weird reaching out after a certain point you you know you stop talking to people all of a sudden you just think if they're not reaching out maybe I maybe they don't want to hear from me and maybe I shouldn't reach out myself and I just thought Okay, I guess I didn't think maybe I'm happy to be back with all of you at the end of the day I'm a little burnedoid I let me it Danny, but I'm glad to be back with all of you playing games
- 42:05[SPEAKER_14]: and whatever this takes it does yeah i mean i'm really excited to see you guys and like no yeah i'm glad we're all saying that because it's getting kind of awkward and weird and i think that little intense for sec i'm gonna be completely honest i was way more excited about this game than the actual reunion i don't i don't have i don't have much to to say it that
- 42:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't even know if I'm gonna go, it's tomorrow, right?
- 42:35[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, it's tomorrow.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_12]: I think so, I have to come into work and I'm probably gonna be exhausted after this game, so I don't think I'm probably gonna go to the reunion either.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, as you should, you should, I feel like we should be should be cool if we all went, I think.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, you know, I have like some melatonin, gummies and stuff.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_11]: If you like need soap, just like make, you know, you sleep tonight and it'll be like really good deep sleep and then tomorrow, you can like, you know, I'm really not going to say anything.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_12]: Yes, not actually appreciate that.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_12]: I'm not going to say no to that.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_12]: Thank you.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_12]: Yes, I appreciate that.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_12]: It's been a rough couple of months.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_12]: We're on crunch right now with game development is the game though.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_12]: This game.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, let's just play already.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, but we just start playing, maybe it'll, you know, we'll start having some fun and see how it goes.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_14]: This is reminding me of game back in the day, one of us always had something some acts to grind with someone else, and we've worked it out at the table.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah, the game always squashed the beef.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_14]: Go watch the beef with the game, right in.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_01]: You're right, like that time we almost got into a fight over who is going to get the higher locker.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then we we worked it out in the game.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_01]: You're right.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_16]: You're right beef was squashed You got the higher locker and I was on the low the low locker It was great because then you just got to like practice squats basically every time you had to go back to your locker I did So like you really worked on that.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_16]: I got you know because I can dunk.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah
- 44:14[SPEAKER_01]: That was a year you shot up about a foot.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_01]: I remember.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was pretty funny by the end.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_16]: Pretty inconvenient.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_16]: But I have a professional athlete.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_16]: So it worked out.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_01]: We know.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_12]: All right, I'm glad.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_12]: Even thing great.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_12]: I haven't seen all of it in a place.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_12]: I'm Bob Ordson on the news.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_12]: Thanks, Enoch.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_16]: Your games are sick by the way.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_16]: Brett loves them.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_16]: I didn't know Brett was a fan, a big fan, a big fan of the fun time pillows, uh, you love that game.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, yeah, that was probably the, um, people don't know this because it is very much seeing like a wholesome game.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_12]: The most intense crunch I've ever done, we had to do that in a less than a couple of months.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_12]: I'm living a life, um, definitely living the life.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_11]: You know, you're married, right?
- 45:09[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_11]: I hope you don't mind if she's kind of emailing her on the side as well.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_12]: No.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_12]: I don't mind.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_12]: Honestly, she's been telling me all about it.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, okay, good.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_12]: I'm glad that you're good friends with Hannah.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_12]: She just, she's wonderful.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_12]: She's just wonderful.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_11]: Check in and make sure you guys are all good.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_12]: I think we'll get, I think.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_12]: I've been busy, so I've been around as much as I'd like to.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_12]: Things are even up at work, so I think I have more time to just hang out with with Henan, my little kid.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_11]: That's good.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_11]: I'm glad.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_11]: Rest is important.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_14]: Hey, Kelly, can I, do you have a bandaid?
- 45:52[SPEAKER_14]: I got a paper cut.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_11]: Oh totally.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_11]: I'm here.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_11]: I'm what color do you want to?
- 45:58[SPEAKER_11]: Just like a beige one or a hat bread.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_14]: I have bread.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_14]: I beige is good.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_14]: Thank you.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_11]: Totally okay.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_11]: I'm actually, I'm going to show you this like really cool trick.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_11]: If you cut the sides of the bandaid, you're going to wrap it around your finger more seamlessly.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_11]: It's very cool.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_11]: Thanks.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_11]: She's bandage is up wherever you got it.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_11]: People got it.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_14]: Thank you.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_14]: Sorry.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_14]: I didn't mean to.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_14]: Don't want to derail stuff.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_14]: Just a little.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_10]: No.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_10]: No.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_10]: No one like.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_10]: Get blood on the floor.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_14]: That's fine.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_14]: The pay you don't want.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_14]: Just more.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_14]: We're to clean up later.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_03]: You guys see Danny is kind of like leaning back and just kind of listening to this.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_03]: We've seen kind of like smiling at a small smile and he looks up.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_03]: I really think you guys were going to be so down to help and play and I mean, yeah.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_03]: Like you said, we'll squash it in the game.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_03]: That's what we always did.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll always do, I don't know, do you guys just want to play?
- 46:56[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_16]: Let's do it.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, let's do it.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, it's going to sound a little weird.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_03]: I know we didn't use to do this, but just kind of like go with me on it.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_03]: I promise it's not someone like weird thing, just it might be a little weird just go with me, okay?
- 47:11[SPEAKER_03]: Everyone can pick up your die.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and that's going to sound weird.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_03]: Just go with me on it.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_03]: Can you close your eyes?
- 47:22[SPEAKER_03]: And I want you to just picture your character, picture yourself melting away.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_03]: And as you do, I want you to just slowly lower that diet to the table.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_03]: Don't go fast, don't go faster than you think.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_03]: Because much time as you need, but know that when that diet touches the table, you will not be you.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_03]: You will be your paragon.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_03]: You will be the character I've set in front of you, the character you'll make.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_03]: The character I've made for you that we've made together.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_03]: We'll be in our world together and we'll figure this out together like we always did.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_03]: That your hand go down nice and slow and whenever it touches, I just want you to open your eyes.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_03]: As you guys open your eyes, you feel a stiff, cool breeze fly past you.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_03]: your eyes don't adjust for a second it seems like he's turned out the lights around you or something maybe he like there was a light switch next to him and your eyes take a thing to adjust and the room seems more red than it did before all of a sudden you feel that wind again and you see leaves flying past as a leaves what are past your eyes and smack you inside the face a full pine cone hits net directly on the head.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_03]: And you look and you're not in the basement of the Beanstalk.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_03]: You're sitting in the same chairs around the same table, but outside there are trees all around you.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_03]: The moon glow above you.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_03]: It's kind of this like pale red sending weird shadows all around from different directions.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe even a second direction.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_03]: Is there a second moon up there?
- 49:27[SPEAKER_03]: You look around and you look down at your hands and your clothes and everything looks the same.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_03]: And you all open your eyes as you see Danny still, the die in his hand hovering just an inch above the table, his whole hand shaking tremendously.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_03]: And as you guys are kind of adjusting to your new settings, you see him set the die on the table and open his eyes.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god, it worked.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god, what the god, what, oh my god, I didn't get it right.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't get it right.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_08]: Oh my god, this is something that I didn't know.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_08]: How did, okay, we're just looking.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_03]: Good waiting a long time to say this.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_03]: Welcome back.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_03]: So, Glorifallion, he reaches forward grabs his die and you see a specter of yellow and blue lights swirl around him.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_03]: He rises into the air and you see a magical girl transformation, you know, if I can something out of Sailor Moon, you see his hair falls away, his clothes being like tatter and rip and then a replaced.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_03]: And so that you see him being reformed entirely.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_03]: As he slowly descends back to the ground, his hair longer in this kind of like older fashion style You see he's wearing something almost like out of like Victorian very Regency era But like a bright blue long coat Dispeckled with like gold stripes and zigzags buttons of like pure silver going down and he lands on the ground And you see him something out of like Bridgetin or Mr. Darcy, you know, fried prejudice
- 51:07[SPEAKER_03]: You see him land with this blue and yellow light swirling around and then flying back into his hands.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_03]: And as he does, he kind of flies his hands forward, pushes them up, and you see five floating tokens.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_03]: Almost like subway tokens, like the little bits cut out in the center of them, open in his hands.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_03]: He grabs them forward, puts them in his hands and goes,
- 51:35[SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_03]: This is so much better than I thought it'd be.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_03]: Oh.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Danny what the fuck is going on did you what was in those cinnamon rolls?
- 51:46[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, what is that something in them did y'all to y'all do to y'all tricking me into taking psychedelics again?
- 51:53[SPEAKER_14]: No, we we promised we wouldn't do it after the second time Yeah, we never do that again No, that was so poorly the first time You know this like VR or this is not via yeah You know this did you do something here no something you programmed in no
- 52:13[SPEAKER_12]: What is this, Danny?
- 52:16[SPEAKER_03]: This is Glorifallion.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_03]: I heard about these dice on the internet.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_03]: I thought it was just a fantasy.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_03]: Some people went into their world before.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't think it would work, but we're here.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_01]: As you say, Gorthalion, I think Anna looks up and realizes that the second moon looks exactly like how you always describe the second moon in Gorthalion to look like, and she pees herself a little bit.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_03]: you look up and as the trees kind of sway, you see the moon in a crescent shape, but not because it is in a crescent moon, but because there is a massive bite taken out of this moon from some long ago calamity or some long ago creature, the myths and fables have gone back and forth over the years of you guys playing.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_03]: You guys still haven't found out what took that piece
- 53:20[SPEAKER_03]: or if it was anything magical or mythical, but you see it and it is like nothing you've ever seen.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_03]: You see the craters and the things moving through the tree flies over top but again you blink almost not knowing if you had actually seen such a miracle.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_03]: you see Danny looks you guys I set this up because I didn't I never had any ideas I never had any stories to tell anybody else and everyone to tell anybody else any stories I just wanted to tell the five of you stories I just wanted to make stories with you and I should have I should have reached out I should have said something but I was embarrassed you guys always did it so easy and then
- 54:05[SPEAKER_03]: I wrote down your stories and they were so good and everyone loved them and everyone thought they were so good and then I tried to do my own and they didn't They didn't work.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_03]: There wasn't any magic to it.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_03]: I swear I was doing the same thing.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_03]: I always did when I ran games, but it didn't work But I I wanted to bring you here to make more stories, but I guess I
- 54:32[SPEAKER_03]: I just want to, you know, do what we did, be clashed it in the game.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_11]: We were Danny, we're like, we're in, we're in Glorith Valley, yeah.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_11]: So we didn't, like, do all the things that we did?
- 54:53[SPEAKER_12]: Please think we can do all the things that we did.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_12]: There were dragons in here, we were die.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_16]: What happens if we die here, do we die in real life?
- 55:03[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, with the fuck.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_03]: I'll be honest, I don't know all the rules of it.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_03]: We'll kind of figure that out as we go.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_03]: But, um, how?
- 55:10[SPEAKER_03]: For now, I just...
- 55:12[SPEAKER_03]: I've got some really good plans for you guys.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_03]: I think you're gonna love them.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I think you wanna just, just play?
- 55:19[SPEAKER_03]: I've got some great stories to tell you.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean...
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: I want you to forget me home.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't want to play any.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_01]: What the fuck, you're, this is crazy.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_01]: This is crazy.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_01]: This is gonna be all.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_01]: This should be here.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_03]: This is a lot, Danny.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_03]: As you say, this is crazy.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_03]: You also don't look forward and you see the dice on the table begin to.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_03]: What is happening?
- 55:45[SPEAKER_03]: Just levitate up to be at the eye level in front of each of you.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_11]: if we want it to.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_03]: If we want to leave, we just all, we hold hands, and we say the game is over.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_03]: It's all you have to do.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, do we have to hold hands?
- 56:10[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if we have to hold it.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_03]: The thing I read online was you have to hold hands, but like, maybe you can just say it, I guess we could, you know, try it both ways, but I've tried to order magical artifacts online.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_14]: They never worked.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_14]: This is incredible.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_14]: Well, I just gave up after a certain point.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you don't want to leave.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_03]: We got it.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_03]: We cautioned in the game.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_03]: I tell you stories and you guys make them epic.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_03]: We do it in the game.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_03]: That's how we've always done it.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_03]: Right?
- 56:50[SPEAKER_01]: I don't listen.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I'm having a psychic break, psychotic break, or there's Susanne's finally gone on a psychedelic poisoning spray or what?
- 57:01[SPEAKER_03]: You're here, I promise.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_03]: Susanne did her psychedelic thing like 15 years ago.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_03]: It was a wild time.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_03]: A few people got injured, but no one was left after her.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_11]: What happened with Ned?
- 57:10[SPEAKER_11]: She really just swore off drugs altogether.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_11]: for a really long time.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_14]: For God, that was your mom who did this.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, yeah.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, the Suzanne Chronicles.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I feel like we could just put a really quiet one.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_01]: I guess, fuck it.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_01]: We're here now in a reaches out and grabs her, the D6, floating in front of her.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_03]: As you grab the D6, it explodes into a menagerie of colors as you get feel yourself getting pulled up.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_03]: What does your transformation look like?
- 57:48[SPEAKER_03]: What does your paragon as you land on the ground become?
- 57:53[SPEAKER_01]: Anna is this big woman straggly sort of dishwater hair very much like a promotional t-shirt kind of girl She's like always in the XXL like you know door dash t-shirt or whatever and just like the cheapest pants she could find As this sort of drab meat slab of a woman flies up in the air
- 58:19[SPEAKER_01]: you see this orange sparks like you're like something's being lit on fire almost a piece of paper crackling up see these orange sparks kind of consume her and she begins to lengthen and stretch and just
- 58:41[SPEAKER_01]: This big woman to a, like, whip thin, nothing but sin you, you see her draggly hair, change into bright red and go into three thin strips of short mohawk on her head.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_01]: with like a neck tattoos of like daggers and like chains kind of and then her very drab clothes begin to change and transform into an outfit that's classic rogue made of nothing but leather straps just like overlapping lattice work like about an inch and a half two inches thick brown leather straps and she's just covered in this like
- 59:27[SPEAKER_01]: skin type, very sexy, like revealing, but covered roads up it with this orange, mohawk, three triple orange, mohawk.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_01]: And then she lands as she begins to gently fall towards the ground.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_01]: She lands in like the Superman, like punching down pose and then she just whips her head up and
- 59:57[SPEAKER_03]: Fuck yes, that's what I'm talking about.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_03]: This is gonna be so cool.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_03]: He looks around kind of at the rest of you Especially as your dies are pulsing and glowing in front of you
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_14]: Uh, Ned reaches out and grabs his after seeing this.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_03]: Ned, what do you what do we see as you far in case in this cone of pure light?
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, so Ned is very timid feature, you know, just like kind of always about to win sort of And you just see him and you just see him like you just see him like you just see him like like get like his chest puffs out and he just gets like
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_14]: thick and and beefy and just covered in, um, and these like patches of, of ruined metal crystals and, uh, and various trinkets hanging off of them, his, uh, his sort of scraggly beard becomes this like,
- 1:01:01[SPEAKER_14]: epic flowing beard that like goes down to his waist fuck yeah his eyes start glowing with this godly power and in his hands this massive two handed like you know like a sensor like with the incense but it's like a it's like a war sensor so it's like covered in spikes
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_14]: and just like this otherworldly smoke emanating from it like a like a flail and the ground around him just sort of craters out.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, I could get used to this.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_03]: Tinkle of a whisper in the back of your ear.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_14]: Who a tinkle?
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_14]: A tinkle of a whisper.
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_14]: M-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_14]: I'm fate, man.
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_15]: I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_03]: and he you see the voice kind of like tinkles back as you hear you hear just a voice going as he floats back the the rest of you still see your die floating in front of you what do you do I I reach for mine I think I see Kelly and I see Anna I'm grab there and
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_12]: This song, yeah, sure, and I'll grab my default.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_03]: You grab the default.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_03]: The wind tassels up everybody.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_03]: You hear as hellfire flies around you.
- 1:03:41[SPEAKER_03]: What does it look like when the hellfire slowly simmers down to just a tinkling of flames?
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_12]: I think the whole, I'll just have the transformation, because I think it's also important.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_12]: The whole fire erupts out of the D4 in his hand and you see it first, burn away his clothes, but keeps it tasteful, very similar.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_03]: It's strategically placed clouds and smoke.
- 1:04:11[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_12]: It's usually places like passive ash and flame.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_12]: But you see, like, with most of his clothes going, you can see that, you know, he was a tall, lanky kind of very slim, built person.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_12]: He had a tower sloucher from the years.
- 1:04:29[SPEAKER_12]: He had sat at the computer desk.
- 1:04:31[SPEAKER_12]: But all of that seems to change as the flames travel up his body, he becomes a lot more built, his posture straightens up, his tired looking face, his tightens up, he becomes a very pretty boy.
- 1:04:46[SPEAKER_12]: I think it's a very, very, very uncastically.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_12]: pretty rather than handsome.
- 1:04:51[SPEAKER_12]: I think it's the best way to go about it.
- 1:04:53[SPEAKER_12]: And you see marks appear along his body around his wrist to black bands, like tattoos, a pioneer's wrist, and another two around his neck.
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_12]: And when the flames reach his neck, there's no more clothing to burn away, but it keeps going.
- 1:05:10[SPEAKER_12]: And
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_12]: Almost like, you know, how in cartoons when someone gets electrically, you can see this skeleton underneath, kind of vibe.
- 1:05:16[SPEAKER_12]: As it goes up his face, you can see his skull underneath.
- 1:05:21[SPEAKER_12]: But it doesn't look like a normal human skull.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_12]: You see where I should be, dark green gems.
- 1:05:27[SPEAKER_12]: So some kind of black air cuff, those go around in the center.
- 1:05:30[SPEAKER_12]: Around is where the nose should be.
- 1:05:33[SPEAKER_12]: And around where it is would be, like smaller gems of similar colour dotted around.
- 1:05:38[SPEAKER_12]: and then as the flames reach the top, it all fades again, it's back to normal, you in the face.
- 1:05:44[SPEAKER_12]: As they drop down and it's really closed now in, very, again, very classic barred outfit and he holds himself in a way more confidently, kind of, I'm hot and I know I'm hot and I know it's
- 1:06:08[SPEAKER_17]: Whoa.
- 1:06:12[SPEAKER_17]: Danny turns to jagos.
- 1:06:14[SPEAKER_17]: Try them all.
- 1:06:15[SPEAKER_17]: I'm man.
- 1:06:17[SPEAKER_17]: Come on.
- 1:06:19[SPEAKER_16]: Yo!
- 1:06:20[SPEAKER_16]: Did... That... First off, 10 minutes ago, y'all were like, they're... Danny, he stole our work, and you're making a book.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_16]: And now you're grabbing his power engine ice, what the... Did it hurt?
- 1:06:32[SPEAKER_12]: No, I feel great on his staff, I feel better than I have ever.
- 1:06:38[SPEAKER_14]: Listen, the first rule, when when you enter a game, you got to touch the glowing object in front of you.
- 1:06:44[SPEAKER_16]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
- 1:07:01[SPEAKER_16]: And then, yeah, I guess the explosion thingy happens.
- 1:07:04[SPEAKER_03]: You grab the dice and the die, embeds itself in your chest.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_03]: And you see, rather than everything else is like flame and fire, you see this electrical spark, electric electricity.
- 1:07:17[SPEAKER_03]: Flying out all around you lighting up this whole area.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_03]: You guys also look around and see you've been in this forest before not in real life But in your imaginations the vermillion expands.
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_03]: You know it very well.
- 1:07:29[SPEAKER_03]: You travel through it before But you can't think of what is in it or what you know to be just outside of it now because the light is too bright in the light flies back in What do we see as the light slowly dings?
- 1:07:44[SPEAKER_16]: As the lights come back in, you see this six-foot-five frame of a man starts to shrink and get smaller.
- 1:07:53[SPEAKER_16]: His muscles start to get tinier and tinier to what is a five-foot, maybe six, five-foot-five guy.
- 1:08:02[SPEAKER_16]: His shirt kind of shreds and cinder grates, and it's just like you can see this person's chest getting tinier and tinier and tinier.
- 1:08:10[SPEAKER_16]: older and bring clear in a kind of gross old man kind of way and then like there's just like his head Jay had like a long flowing like hair and his hair starts to like recede and you see like a bald patch start to form on his head and like his pants like whatever jeans is wearing like starts to get like turned to like leather but like poofy kind of like almost like
- 1:08:36[SPEAKER_16]: These poopy little like leather pants with like chains wrapped around them It's in one cool way and then like leather shoes and then like a like kind of like a hood up here It's like a little cape and as he kind of comes down to his transformation He takes off the hood and he's fully just like an old man looking type person like he's look at his age 50 years Because he looks at himself and goes
- 1:09:02[SPEAKER_04]: Diddy, what the fuck?
- 1:09:06[SPEAKER_04]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
- 1:09:17[SPEAKER_02]: gotta be honest, I'm kind of going along by to see my pants here too.
- 1:09:20[SPEAKER_02]: This looks just kinda like expression of your inner self.
- 1:09:23[SPEAKER_02]: We'll tackle that in a second.
- 1:09:24[SPEAKER_02]: But like, we've got, we've got one more transformation to do it.
- 1:09:27[SPEAKER_02]: I think we gotta, we'll come back.
- 1:09:30[SPEAKER_14]: We'll address this.
- 1:09:32[SPEAKER_03]: We'll do time.
- 1:09:33[SPEAKER_11]: We're gonna circle back.
- 1:09:35[SPEAKER_03]: We're gonna, we're gonna circle back.
- 1:09:36[SPEAKER_03]: You see, he goes from looking very frazzled, and you see his performance face comes back on straight back, and the Regency era dress becomes very apparent as he walks up to Kelly, puts his hand kind of like underneath her die, almost like motioning it forward.
- 1:09:54[SPEAKER_03]: And as he tilts his hand, the die kind of moves just a little bit closer to your face,
- 1:10:05[SPEAKER_15]: It's going to be so much fun.
- 1:10:10[SPEAKER_11]: Totally, Danny.
- 1:10:11[SPEAKER_11]: And she grabs it, having seen all of her friends from the most part.
- 1:10:16[SPEAKER_11]: She's all serving into, like, beautiful, idealized, you know, powerful sorts of things.
- 1:10:23[SPEAKER_03]: As you grab the die, you feel it rip from your hand.
- 1:10:27[SPEAKER_03]: It flies up to the sky, you see.
- 1:10:31[SPEAKER_03]: lightning strikes almost like red and blue and yellow and green.
- 1:10:34[SPEAKER_03]: This frismatic lightning flies into your dice and then a single beam of multi-colored lightning explodes directly on you as you reach up you find a massive weapon forming in your hand what do we see as the light fades back and smoke from this explosion clears
- 1:10:59[SPEAKER_11]: So Kelly usually is dressed in very like sort of neat practical like not very flashy clothes.
- 1:11:09[SPEAKER_11]: Always as her hair.
- 1:11:10[SPEAKER_11]: You don't kind of back in a fun.
- 1:11:12[SPEAKER_11]: We're just kind of out of the way I add a
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_11]: Maybe her hair is down and long, and somehow constantly seems to be in like a wind mission.
- 1:11:31[SPEAKER_11]: And she's wearing this very light sort of diaphnist, tool, chiffon sort of a dress that's got a lot of light.
- 1:11:42[SPEAKER_11]: three inch retendrils, it's like the shoulders of around her legs, and it's like not practical.
- 1:11:49[SPEAKER_11]: And on her skin, it looks almost like tattoos of like this sort of swirling, almost like vines, waves, sort of tattoos all over her limbs, but on closer inspection you see they're actually like raised scars.
- 1:12:06[SPEAKER_11]: But again, like really,
- 1:12:08[SPEAKER_11]: Clearly sort of intentional beautiful, and in her hand is a I-SACs that is glowing.
- 1:12:18[SPEAKER_11]: I see cold beautiful blue and has yes, it seems to sort of like glow for me inside
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_03]: As you feel this ice axe in your hand, what emotion is kind of running through?
- 1:12:35[SPEAKER_03]: You feel a pulse of something stronger than you've made it ever felt it before.
- 1:12:40[SPEAKER_03]: Just for a moment, you feel something.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_03]: What emotion pulses through with this weapon?
- 1:12:46[SPEAKER_11]: I think being back home and in this basement with these people who she loves and hasn't spoken to and hasn't really had that kind of connection in a really long time seeing all of you.
- 1:13:01[SPEAKER_11]: Feel happy and excited and seeing these sort of inner strength versions of yourselves.
- 1:13:09[SPEAKER_11]: She feels for the first time probably ever that she can relax and just trust that things are going to be cool and good and we're fine and she can let go and so it's trust.
- 1:13:25[SPEAKER_03]: you feel that moment of just pure comfort and trust or radiate out from you and for a moment all of you feel that you feel that trust rating out from her from this weapon from this moment you forget that you're in a dark force you forget that you know where you are you're in the center of the vermillion expanse and you know what this forest is known for.
- 1:13:48[SPEAKER_03]: All of that fades away for a second and you just know, it's going to be fine.
- 1:13:53[SPEAKER_03]: This is going to be good.
- 1:13:54[SPEAKER_17]: If you think's happy here, the feeling fades, but the memory stays as you settle this weapon in your hand, you, you have pin prick in the back of your head, calming, you hear the voice that's something you felt trust with for a long time, you feel, hey darling,
- 1:14:18[SPEAKER_17]: And you hear the voice of your mother kind of echoing in the back of your head.
- 1:14:24[SPEAKER_13]: How you do everything's going to be just so good.
- 1:14:27[SPEAKER_13]: I'm so happy that you're here.
- 1:14:30[SPEAKER_13]: I know it might seem a little scary out there, but it's just going to be just fine.
- 1:14:36[SPEAKER_13]: Um, you know what?
- 1:14:38[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, I think it is going to be fine, Mom.
- 1:14:41[SPEAKER_09]: I'm glad you're here too.
- 1:14:45[SPEAKER_09]: You know what?
- 1:14:46[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to, just to be clear, I'm not actually your mother, I'm just, this was kind of the voice that's going in, like, I am a sentient weapon, but like, but if you want to call me mom, if that makes you totally, you totally do that.
- 1:14:56[SPEAKER_11]: No, that's fine, that's like, I don't have to call you mom.
- 1:14:59[SPEAKER_03]: I just do, I didn't want to, like, betray the trust that we're invading by impersonating someone that you love.
- 1:15:04[SPEAKER_03]: I just, yeah, I'm trying to make you more comfortable with it.
- 1:15:06[SPEAKER_11]: Is there like a different name you prefer?
- 1:15:08[SPEAKER_03]: No, mom, so I feel pretty good with mom.
- 1:15:10[SPEAKER_11]: But this is McIntyre, is that you, on the nose, is that weird?
- 1:15:14[SPEAKER_11]: Actually, you know what?
- 1:15:14[SPEAKER_11]: I don't mind this Mac and Tyre.
- 1:15:15[SPEAKER_03]: That's kind of fun.
- 1:15:16[SPEAKER_03]: Kind of like familiar but separate.
- 1:15:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:15:18[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 1:15:19[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 1:15:20[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to brainstorm.
- 1:15:21[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 1:15:21[SPEAKER_10]: We'll see you back.
- 1:15:22[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 1:15:23[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 1:15:24[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 1:15:25[SPEAKER_10]: But like nice.
- 1:15:28[SPEAKER_13]: It is right.
- 1:15:29[SPEAKER_14]: You, uh, you also got a voice in your head.
- 1:15:34[SPEAKER_14]: I got a voice in my head.
- 1:15:35[SPEAKER_14]: Did anyone up?
- 1:15:36[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, Kelly's just been sort of like looking like weird.
- 1:15:39[SPEAKER_14]: Is that how it looked?
- 1:15:41[SPEAKER_14]: Is that how it looked when I, because I had a voice in my head, too?
- 1:15:44[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, do you?
- 1:15:44[SPEAKER_10]: Is it?
- 1:15:45[SPEAKER_10]: Who's the voice in your head?
- 1:15:48[SPEAKER_14]: Uh, they call themselves fate.
- 1:15:52[SPEAKER_14]: And they mostly said no spoilers.
- 1:15:54[SPEAKER_14]: Sure.
- 1:15:56[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 1:15:57[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 1:15:57[SPEAKER_10]: You just got like trust the process.
- 1:16:02[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 1:16:03[SPEAKER_10]: I felt weird to say.
- 1:16:04[SPEAKER_10]: Look at Rivers said that before.
- 1:16:05[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, let me try.
- 1:16:17[SPEAKER_14]: try and focus and to bring back whatever presence I was feeling before and say, hey, um, why, uh, why did my my tallest strongest friend become an old man?
- 1:16:34[SPEAKER_14]: You feel that presence appear again.
- 1:16:38[SPEAKER_03]: You feel it.
- 1:16:38[SPEAKER_03]: I'll send pull your attention to the left and you look up and it'll treat kind of just like lazing back hands behind their head, feet up.
- 1:16:46[SPEAKER_03]: You see a specter of like a very gaunt figure wearing like kind of loose fitting robes kind of shock white hair kind of shaggy going down half the face covering their eyes kind of like shaggy dog style.
- 1:17:06[SPEAKER_15]: I'd be happy to tell you, but I don't want to spoil anything for you.
- 1:17:13[SPEAKER_13]: Like, yeah.
- 1:17:14[SPEAKER_13]: Trust me, if you know all the answers, it's not fun.
- 1:17:20[SPEAKER_14]: Okay, but what about some of the answers?
- 1:17:24[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I'm always looking for a favor if you're willing to front me something in the future.
- 1:17:34[SPEAKER_03]: You see the hair parts a little bit and you see one of the eyes is this very bright almost like clear crystalline crystalline blue and yeah twinkles just as the hair flies back just an open-ended favor, huh?
- 1:17:51[SPEAKER_14]: We're starting we're starting with that we're getting to know each other okay
- 1:17:57[SPEAKER_11]: Can the rest of us see fate or is it just sort of like watching Ned talk to a trick?
- 1:18:03[SPEAKER_03]: You guys just seen Ned all of a sudden become very interested in what you guys see is an owl up there.
- 1:18:12[SPEAKER_14]: And am I am I saying this out loud or is it in my mind?
- 1:18:16[SPEAKER_03]: You you tell me do you want to speak out loud or do you want to have it only in your mind?
- 1:18:20[SPEAKER_14]: I'll be saying it out loud.
- 1:18:21[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, I don't hear it out.
- 1:18:22[SPEAKER_14]: It's like a month.
- 1:18:23[SPEAKER_14]: Listen to someone talking on the phone.
- 1:18:25[SPEAKER_14]: You can only hear half the conversation.
- 1:18:27[SPEAKER_00]: He's talking to that owl, man.
- 1:18:31[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.
- 1:18:32[SPEAKER_12]: Are we sure that was anything else in the cinnamon?
- 1:18:34[SPEAKER_11]: Rose or... No, I promise you, Suzanne has been sober.
- 1:18:38[SPEAKER_11]: First, she's very dedicated.
- 1:18:39[SPEAKER_11]: She's a lot of people's sponsors.
- 1:18:42[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay, Ned, you see this guy kind of straighten up and kind of lean over it very relaxed posture.
- 1:18:49[SPEAKER_03]: Alright, alright.
- 1:18:54[SPEAKER_15]: How about this?
- 1:18:57[SPEAKER_13]: I haven't been surprised in a while.
- 1:19:02[SPEAKER_14]: No, I would imagine you wouldn't.
- 1:19:04[SPEAKER_13]: No, you make me a promise.
- 1:19:10[SPEAKER_14]: to try and surprise me before the day is up I'll tell you what you want to know hmm yeah I mean I can try for sure just the promises to try and surprise you just want to make sure I get the
- 1:19:32[SPEAKER_00]: That word sounds like he's making an eldritch deal.
- 1:19:35[SPEAKER_00]: He's making a deal.
- 1:19:36[SPEAKER_00]: Get the wording right.
- 1:19:38[SPEAKER_00]: Get the wording.
- 1:19:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, don't let him just hear it about the language, but you know, I feel like that sounds good.
- 1:19:43[SPEAKER_03]: You see the like very dry smile that had been it's kind of like lazy smile.
- 1:19:48[SPEAKER_03]: They come a little bit sharper and you see him kind of it's posture goes taught for a second and then very deliberately loosens back as all right.
- 1:20:01[UNKNOWN]: Just
- 1:20:02[SPEAKER_15]: Seeing if you're paying attention, just gotta try.
- 1:20:09[SPEAKER_15]: That's a fair first deal.
- 1:20:11[SPEAKER_14]: You got yourself a deal.
- 1:20:13[SPEAKER_03]: He kind of balls back out of the tree, lands on his feet, kind of slump down, stands up, walks over to you, and just reaches out his hand to shake yours.
- 1:20:29[SPEAKER_03]: I reach back and to shake his.
- 1:20:33[SPEAKER_03]: You reach out your hand.
- 1:20:34[SPEAKER_03]: You feel this cold, but familiar presence doesn't feel like hand.
- 1:20:41[SPEAKER_03]: It feels like an inevitability and he vanishes.
- 1:20:50[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 1:20:50[SPEAKER_03]: Here a voice kind of come around you guys.
- 1:20:56[SPEAKER_03]: rather than being the voice of fate, you hear a very mechanized voice, and you hear it echoed next to it.
- 1:21:06[SPEAKER_03]: You're hearing this in stereo just a quarter second off.
- 1:21:11[SPEAKER_09]: Hello.
- 1:21:13[SPEAKER_09]: Welcome to your world.
- 1:21:17[SPEAKER_09]: You sound too right here.
- 1:21:31[SPEAKER_09]: They think you are.
- 1:21:33[SPEAKER_14]: They're just stare at Jay.
- 1:21:36[SPEAKER_11]: All of us are like, do we know Jay as well as we thought?
- 1:21:44[SPEAKER_08]: Who you are now is your truth?
- 1:21:49[SPEAKER_08]: What there is is such that you may have to find out for yourself.
- 1:21:54[SPEAKER_03]: And it's at this time, you see two diggers walk on from either side of this small clearing.
- 1:22:01[SPEAKER_03]: They're eight, eight and a half feet tall.
- 1:22:04[SPEAKER_03]: These like cure whites with like black screws and mechanisms.
- 1:22:09[SPEAKER_03]: They are.
- 1:22:10[SPEAKER_03]: a Tomatons, but wildly advanced.
- 1:22:14[SPEAKER_03]: They have a fluidity to them that almost looks like it perfectly mimics humanity, but there's still a almost deliberate mechanization to them as they walk, but as you see them walk, they don't actually even walk, they just kind of float forward just half an inch above the ground.
- 1:22:33[SPEAKER_09]: We welcome you here.
- 1:22:37[SPEAKER_12]: It's great to be here.
- 1:22:40[SPEAKER_14]: Thanks.
- 1:22:42[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 1:22:43[SPEAKER_03]: You see Danny kind of shrink spectacles.
- 1:22:47[SPEAKER_15]: Okay.
- 1:22:49[SPEAKER_12]: Okay.
- 1:22:52[SPEAKER_12]: Danny is going on.
- 1:22:55[SPEAKER_01]: This part of your surprise.
- 1:22:59[SPEAKER_03]: You know, yes and no.
- 1:23:02[SPEAKER_03]: heard these guys are, you know, kind of scary.
- 1:23:04[SPEAKER_03]: Do we do it?
- 1:23:06[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:23:33[SPEAKER_17]: the other one holds out a coin and motions to you all, inviting you to ask a question.
- 1:23:42[SPEAKER_17]: But you noticed that the first one is not doing this.
- 1:23:45[SPEAKER_03]: You believe you have one question.
- 1:23:48[SPEAKER_11]: Okay, guys, what do we think is that we don't ask that?
- 1:23:57[SPEAKER_11]: No, I'm just talking to you guys.
- 1:23:59[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, but Jay was talking to you, Danny, and then they still took that as a question.
- 1:24:04[SPEAKER_12]: So, we're in... Oh, it's a just statement.
- 1:24:07[SPEAKER_11]: No questions.
- 1:24:09[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, it's going to be this word.
- 1:24:10[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 1:24:30[SPEAKER_11]: You should ask something about where we're headed.
- 1:24:39[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, Tolly, where are we going?
- 1:24:41[SPEAKER_00]: Where we're supposed to go first?
- 1:24:44[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Anna.
- 1:24:46[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, Tolly, it motions to the coin.
- 1:24:51[SPEAKER_03]: And you see, one side has a zero.
- 1:24:53[SPEAKER_03]: One side has a one.
- 1:24:54[SPEAKER_03]: It looks at it like confused at your question.
- 1:25:00[SPEAKER_06]: Well, you have to be yes or no question.
- 1:25:05[SPEAKER_06]: I got it.
- 1:25:06[SPEAKER_06]: They have to be yes or no questions.
- 1:25:09[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, all these figured it out.
- 1:25:12[SPEAKER_01]: Who's old?
- 1:25:14[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, the Jamie.
- 1:25:15[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 1:25:17[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, that's you.
- 1:25:21[SPEAKER_11]: Um, Danny, you have a plan.
- 1:25:29[SPEAKER_17]: Is that the end of your statement?
- 1:25:32[SPEAKER_11]: I'm scared to ask questions.
- 1:25:34[SPEAKER_11]: I am simply saying statements.
- 1:25:37[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I have plenty of plans.
- 1:25:40[SPEAKER_03]: I've got so many great ideas for you.
- 1:25:42[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I just, yeah, I've got great ideas.
- 1:25:47[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to have a great time here.
- 1:25:48[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be super fun.
- 1:25:49[SPEAKER_03]: It's probably safe.
- 1:25:52[SPEAKER_03]: We're probably.
- 1:25:54[SPEAKER_01]: Probably safe.
- 1:25:56[SPEAKER_03]: I, you know, there was some mixed stories about, you know, what happened, but it's going to be totally worth it.
- 1:26:01[SPEAKER_03]: You hear.
- 1:26:02[SPEAKER_17]: As the word probably rings out, you hear, holds up the coin.
- 1:26:13[SPEAKER_17]: You see, is zero on the face of the coin.
- 1:26:20[SPEAKER_17]: The creature looks at you and goes,
- 1:26:30[SPEAKER_03]: it would drop mean the coin lands on the ground.
- 1:26:35[SPEAKER_03]: And as you guys follow the coin back to where these things were standing.
- 1:26:37[SPEAKER_03]: They are gone.
- 1:26:40[SPEAKER_11]: So we're probably not going to be a safe for not going to have a good time.
- 1:26:46[SPEAKER_11]: Probably going to have fun.
- 1:26:47[SPEAKER_12]: What's happening?
- 1:26:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, what was the thing all I know is 10 minutes ago, I was getting out of my smelly cab now.
- 1:26:57[SPEAKER_00]: I got a tight ass six inches taller
- 1:27:02[SPEAKER_00]: I've never felt better.
- 1:27:03[SPEAKER_00]: My knee pain is gone.
- 1:27:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm ready to rock.
- 1:27:06[SPEAKER_00]: Let's do it baby.
- 1:27:07[SPEAKER_00]: You're also acting so scared.
- 1:27:09[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, this is so loose.
- 1:27:11[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, you should be scared.
- 1:27:13[SPEAKER_01]: You look like you're about to heal over my guy.
- 1:27:16[SPEAKER_02]: Jay, I'll be honest.
- 1:27:16[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what's going on with you.
- 1:27:18[SPEAKER_03]: I think we might need to have a conversation.
- 1:27:21[SPEAKER_03]: But like, let's, what do what we said?
- 1:27:24[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 1:27:25[SPEAKER_03]: We don't solve this as us.
- 1:27:27[SPEAKER_03]: We solve this as our characters.
- 1:27:29[SPEAKER_03]: We solve this as our paragon.
- 1:27:30[SPEAKER_03]: We solve this in the game.
- 1:27:32[SPEAKER_03]: We quash in the game.
- 1:27:33[SPEAKER_03]: Let's do it.
- 1:27:34[SPEAKER_03]: We always do.
- 1:27:35[SPEAKER_11]: Someone maybe who has like more answers.
- 1:27:38[SPEAKER_11]: Should we go looking for?
- 1:27:39[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 1:27:40[SPEAKER_12]: What was the closest town?
- 1:27:42[SPEAKER_00]: Like a grown-up.
- 1:27:44[SPEAKER_00]: Guys.
- 1:27:46[SPEAKER_01]: I realize, shit, if this is a real game, then that means there's gonna be a real bad guy somewhere.
- 1:27:56[SPEAKER_01]: Was that them?
- 1:27:57[SPEAKER_01]: Were the Tollies that, do we have to kill them?
- 1:28:00[SPEAKER_03]: Or, no, I don't really know what's going on.
- 1:28:03[SPEAKER_03]: Like, that's kind of freaking me out, I'll be honest.
- 1:28:06[SPEAKER_03]: What?
- 1:28:07[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, apparently they're called the
- 1:28:14[SPEAKER_12]: I, we should probably be going to fuck with Ferry of the Faye, uh, on terrifying, right?
- 1:28:19[SPEAKER_12]: We should be scared of the Faye.
- 1:28:21[SPEAKER_03]: I'll be honest, I don't really know what's going on with them and dry them all as you hear the word Faye, you feel a thinking and over top of your, uh, are you wearing like glasses of any kind of spectacles or anything?
- 1:28:37[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah, yeah, let's say a glass is grew out of, uh, but it's a history of the transformation.
- 1:28:42[SPEAKER_03]: Over, over top of one of your glasses, like, you know, like that thing in Toy Story, we have, like, a super, like, you know, an extra, a lens, yeah, flies down and you see a heads-up display of, like, pure, you know, cyberpunk type shit, and you see... What are you doing?
- 1:29:00[SPEAKER_00]: Bam!
- 1:29:01[SPEAKER_03]: and you see a like top-down view of the vermillion expanse and you see three blipping dots and then you see two more blipping dots blipping and you see them starting like it does like a like a radar sweep and the dots the dots bing to create
- 1:29:28[SPEAKER_03]: Get one step closer, radar sweep, blinking, one step closer, blinking, one step closer, Danny kind of looks to you guys, okay, I've got a lot of good stuff planned, let's just, we'll just quash it in the game, like we've always done okay, I think we're, yeah, that's so many times Danny, we have company coming, I think.
- 1:29:57[SPEAKER_06]: What?
- 1:29:59[SPEAKER_05]: Oh hell yeah.
- 1:30:02[SPEAKER_03]: You see Danny pulls back into this character back straight and kind of does like a flourish and a like walking chain of here is next to me taps it on the ground.
- 1:30:13[SPEAKER_03]: Well you guys know where you are right?
- 1:30:17[SPEAKER_03]: The Vermillion Expans.
- 1:30:20[SPEAKER_03]: You know what could be found throughout the Vermillion Expans.
- 1:30:23[SPEAKER_00]: Ah, shit.
- 1:30:26[SPEAKER_03]: The five coins, the five tokens that were in his hand before fly up, he grabs onto one and slams his fist down, vanishing.
- 1:30:37[SPEAKER_03]: Oh.
- 1:30:38[SPEAKER_00]: Damn it.
- 1:30:39[SPEAKER_00]: Daddy, you should have, you could back here.
- 1:30:42[SPEAKER_03]: You hear the last word that he says before he vanishes.
- 1:30:49[SPEAKER_03]: And as these words echo out almost like a whisper around you, you hear the crunch of leaves from all sides around you.
- 1:31:03[SPEAKER_03]: As slowly in the moonlight, five figures come out into this clearing, looking at you, ash and skin,
- 1:31:14[SPEAKER_03]: whole half of their face kind of just like it's techno plating over top of their skin hair falling out in clumps.
- 1:31:24[SPEAKER_03]: He's almost zombified tech like creatures walking forward.
- 1:31:31[SPEAKER_03]: You see their moths open wider and wider than should be allowed.
- 1:31:36[SPEAKER_03]: And you know without looking.
- 1:31:40[SPEAKER_03]: what they are feeling, does they can only ever feel one thing, and that is hunger, and that's where we'll end for the evening.
- 1:32:02[SPEAKER_14]: Oh my god, we didn't bring any of the cinnamon buns with us, right?
- 1:32:09[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:32:09[SPEAKER_07]: We start drugs.
- 1:32:09[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 1:32:10[SPEAKER_14]: I don't know.
- 1:32:11[SPEAKER_11]: I feel like Kelly is kicking herself a little bit for not thinking to grabs.
- 1:32:15[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know that I would have come along to the plate, but she's like, I don't know how that works.
- 1:32:19[SPEAKER_08]: The band aids.
- 1:32:21[SPEAKER_03]: You do see that Ned's Dice Tray did make it.
- 1:32:24[SPEAKER_01]: Though the Dice Tray is here, good, good.
- 1:32:28[SPEAKER_01]: Is he using it as a good shield?
- 1:32:30[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:32:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, yes.
- 1:32:32[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, it's like with the center piece of of the armor.
- 1:32:35[SPEAKER_14]: Just like a big hexagonal Oh my god, absolutely love it.
- 1:32:42[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, good
