- 1:19SPEAKER_00: Hello and welcome to episode 144 of the Path of Cell Podcast.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: And today I'm here with Buddy.
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: I don't do I have to say new name, I don't like doing that.
- 1:29SPEAKER_02: Look at what you like doing hell.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Is this not a great start?
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: Right, so this is going on the 30th of July.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: I've got some interesting things to tell you.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: This one is about an animal that went extinct twice.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Twice.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: So in July 2003, so it's not that long ago, we don't really need to do our shimmers this time.
- 1:57SPEAKER_02: White tiger.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: No.
- 1:59SPEAKER_02: Can I guess?
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:01SPEAKER_02: 2003.
- 2:07SPEAKER_02: I bet it's like some random fucking tiny organism in it.
- 2:11SPEAKER_02: No.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: No.
- 2:12SPEAKER_02: No.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: It's like a real animal.
- 2:14SPEAKER_02: Like a real actual animal.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: It's got horns.
- 2:18SPEAKER_02: It's got horns.
- 2:22SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna get it.
- 2:22SPEAKER_02: Like a do you think he saw us?
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Oh can't do you think he saw us?
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: That's such a dad joke, isn't it?
- 2:32SPEAKER_02: So we know I think he saw us.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: It never gets.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: So it's not a J Thinkey saw us.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: 2003.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Actually, did it happen in 2003?
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: A Pyrenean Ibex.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: The fuck?
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Went extinct.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: And then it wasn't.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: What happened?
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's exactly what happened.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: That's a story over.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: You spoiled that one.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: Fucking hell.
- 3:08SPEAKER_02: Pyrenean Ibex.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: And so an Ibex is like a mountain goat with big curly horns.
- 3:15SPEAKER_03: Oh right, yeah.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: You've probably seen pictures of there's other similar ones around.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: This particular Pyrenean Ibex was very rare, obviously.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Endangered.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: It must have been.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: So anyway, the story goes.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: The Pyrenean Ibex, it's also known as the Bucardo.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: It's this wild mountain goat, like I said to you before.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: And for centuries, this thing has like survived like really harsh winters, predators, hunters, all that.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: But no match for humans, like a lot of animals out there.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: Become extinct because of us.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Because of us.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: We're selfish and what we've done to the world and ripping rainforests apart and all the rest of it.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: Well, similar sort of thing happened to this poor elf fucker.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: Because uh obviously we were hunting these sort of things, we were losing the habitat, we were building roads and tunnels through the mountains and stuff where they like to live.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: And uh there's like a competition for domestic livestock.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: Also, these things were classes livestock, reducing the population.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: And scientists saw this disaster approach and that they were gonna lose these ibex.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: Like they're cute.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: These mountain goats.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: Me and Jimmy were talking about it recently on day release, which is our spin-off thing.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Have you seen them doing little runs, trots along along mountain ledges and jumping?
- 4:28SPEAKER_02: Standing on like this tiny little cliff that's like two inches wide, and they just stand there munching on a little leaf that's growing out the side of the mountain.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: They don't wobble, they don't even second guess it, they just when they jump.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, oh my dear God.
- 4:41SPEAKER_02: Giving the confidence.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: We were saying recently on this day release, Jimmy said that you saw a video of somebody strapping like a GoPro onto the goat as they was doing this thing.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: There's no way I could watch her.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: You showed me two seconds, like, no, not watching that.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: No.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: So scientists saw that this was coming.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: And by the 1990s, there's only one animal left, and her name was Celia.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: Imagine that burden, though, like the entire future of your species lands on you.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: You can't die.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: But researchers do time was running out because Celia, the last of her kind, was knocking on, getting a bit old.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: But thankfully, the researchers uh had a little bit of foresight and they took some tissue from Celia.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: But unfortunately, on the 6th of January 2000, Celia was found dead beneath a fallen tree in northern Spain.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: Oh, so like so she was officially the last Pyrenean ibex.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: She died under the tree.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: So normally that'll be the end of the story, but it was just the beginning because, like I said before, scientists had taken some tissue.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: These are scientists from Spain and France.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: And using the preserved tissue samples, they were going to try and clone an extinct animal for the first time.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: So we've we've heard like the Walloon Mammoth and a few other little things they've tried to work.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: Dolly, yeah.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: But Dolly was already alive.
- 6:02SPEAKER_02: But it was the so it was the clone thing, wasn't it?
- 6:04SPEAKER_02: So yeah.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: So Dolly had already been done in the 90s, you already cloned Dolly, but they hadn't successfully cloned a dead extinct animal.
- 6:12SPEAKER_02: It's fuck Jurassic Park, isn't it?
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: It is Jurassic Park, it's totally Jurassic Park.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: You've heard about the wolves and everything, haven't you?
- 6:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: It's dangerous, tertiary man.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: The woolly mammoth's dead for a reason.
- 6:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: You know, fucking reinvigorate that thing, it's going to reinvigorate all the viruses that are at all.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: They tried to clone um this Ibex.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: And the researchers took genetic material from Celia and inserted it into goat eggs because they had a similar DNA.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: Um, but they actually took most of the goat DNA away that wasn't compatible, and then the rest of it came from Celia.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: And the resultant embryos were implanted in the surrogate mothers.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: Now it's very difficult.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: 200 embryos were created, but most never ever developed.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: Most pregnancies failed, several miscarried, and after years, nothing was happening.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: They kept obviously had loads of these eggs, but nothing was actually working.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: But then in July 2003, one pregnancy reached full term.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: And on the 30th of July, why I'm bringing it up now, a cloned Pyrenean Ibex was born by Caesarean section.
- 7:16SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: But it's only for a brief moment because, like I said before, this became extinct twice.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: So it was born and it was alive, but only for a few brief moments, and the goat died.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: So they did reinvigorate this goat for seconds and then it died again.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: For the rest of us around the world, we're like, well, that was a bit of a waste of time, wasn't it?
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: But no, scientists celebrated because obviously extinction had been reversed.
- 7:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: So even though the newborn clone wasn't healthy, the researchers they immediately noticed why, what the reasons were, etc.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: So even though the the animal died, they knew they could do it.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: It was just keeping it alive afterwards, which is the problem, and that's where they're at now.
- 8:05unknown: Wow.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: So as we know, yeah, they have cloned the wolf and the looking at woolly mammoth.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: I don't think they've successfully done it yet.
- 8:12SPEAKER_03: No good.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: But the issue isn't actually how they do it, they know they can.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: It depends on the quality of the material they're using, but also if they can survive once they are actually born.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: So that's where they're at now.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: So they haven't actually come that much further, Cincinnati.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: Really, really.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: So I still don't agree with this.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: I don't like it at all.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: Um, and I wish they'd stop meddling, but they're not.
- 8:37SPEAKER_02: No, they're never gonna stop meddling.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: They're not gonna stop meddling, they're always gonna poke the nose into things they shouldn't.
- 8:42SPEAKER_02: Would have got away with if it wasn't for meddling kids.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: Right then, so uh how are you driving on the other side of the world?
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: Oh well, other side of the world, other side of the road.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: Doesn't bother me.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: How do you feel driving on the other side of the road?
- 8:59SPEAKER_02: How do I feel?
- 9:00SPEAKER_02: I feel like I'm an holiday.
- 9:01SPEAKER_02: Can you do it?
- 9:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: I can't.
- 9:03SPEAKER_02: Roundabouts confuse me.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: That's why I can't do it.
- 9:06SPEAKER_02: Going round the wrong way.
- 9:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: So I can't.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: I came out of Calais off the ferry and went round the wrong way, and that was it.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: I grabbed the car and went, you can drive.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: Didn't like it at all.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: I just can't do it.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: I can't the whole gear stick on the wrong side of the car, sit on the wrong side of the car, on the motorway, things coming in from the other side.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: I just it it was freaking me out.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: Didn't like it at all.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: So could you imagine having driven on the left side of the road all these years in the UK, all of a sudden being told they have to start driving on the right side of the road.
- 9:39SPEAKER_02: That would cause chaos.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: And I mean, you couldn't necessarily swap the cars round to drive on the other side because obviously we've got a road full of cars.
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: So you'd be driving on the right side of the car.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: Next to the car.
- 9:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: That would freak me out.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: Totally freak me out even more.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: And all sorts of things have to change.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: And we're gonna go into some of it.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: And one of them you'll think of.
- 10:03SPEAKER_02: One of them I'll think of.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: Because it's relevant to you.
- 10:06SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: So this happens 30th of July 1978.
- 10:19SPEAKER_02: We've created a new thing.
- 10:21SPEAKER_02: Hello.
- 10:21SPEAKER_02: Andy and Kevin.
- 10:22SPEAKER_02: Sissy, you're gonna hate us.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: You're gonna want to do it now.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: He'll be shimmering every fucking episode now.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be annoying in the end.
- 10:29SPEAKER_02: Kev's going to like symbols.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: Oh Kev have his own shimmer.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 10:33SPEAKER_02: He'll have like it and everything.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: Oh, fuck it, it'll be shimming everything as arse and everything.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: So, this is the July 1978.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: Akinawa, which is an island in uh just off the coast of Japan.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: And what happened on this day was that everybody was told that they had to start driving on the other side of the road.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: Because going back to the Second World War, after the war, Akinawa came under American administration.
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: While the mainland Japan drove on the left, as it still does today, Akinawa adopted the American style of right-hand driving.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: So from the Second World War, they were driving just like America.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: So same road sign, traffic lights, driving the same side of the road, all that kind of thing.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: And as far as I can gather, they also had cars that drove on the left-hand side as well.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: So they were quite happily going about their own thing, but think about it.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: If you're driving from mainland Japan and you got to go into Akinawa and then all of a sudden you're driving the wrong side of the road, I just wouldn't drive onto the island.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: I'd just get the train.
- 11:43SPEAKER_02: It's all right for us, say, because we've got to go through a body of water to get there.
- 11:46SPEAKER_02: So there's a bit of time for your learning process.
- 11:48SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 11:48SPEAKER_02: But you're not going to be able to do that.
- 11:49SPEAKER_02: You can just go across a junction and go shit.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: Imagine going from the Whirl to Liverpool.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: And on the Whirl, we drive on the left hand side and Liverpool's on the right hand side.
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: That'd be murder.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: You'd come out of the tunnel and instantly crash.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you'd just crash, wouldn't you?
- 12:02unknown: Yeah.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: But this is what these guys have to do.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: So um after Akinau returned to Japanese control in 1972, there's quite a lot of pressure to standardise the road system, not necessarily from the people, but from like you know, like Japanese government in general, if you like, to sort of standardise things.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: So there wasn't this problem.
- 12:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: And you know, why should they be different, really?
- 12:23SPEAKER_00: Because it's not America anymore, it's ours.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: So I think there's a little bit of a point being made as well, really.
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: But it wasn't that simple as just you know painting a few lines on the road and just changing things around.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: Every traffic light has to be changed, road sign, bus stop, all the junctions would need ultrason, all like the arrows, lines, how you'd line up at junctions, everything.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: Um, and like if you think about where the traffic lights are on our side of the road, they'd have to maybe go on the other side, all that kind of thing.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: It was massive.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: Drivers needed retraining.
- 12:53SPEAKER_02: I can imagine that.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: Emergency services, they needed new procedures as well, just for driving differently around the roads and everything.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: The potential for chaos was huge, really.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: It really was.
- 13:03SPEAKER_02: I already know the one you were going to say that you would know I would have thought of.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: So, what were you gonna say?
- 13:08SPEAKER_02: The bus doors would be on the wrong side of the road.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: Exactly that.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: So the bus route had to be redesigned as well because the doors had to be open on the other side.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: If there wasn't the space on that side of the road where it where the so let's say there's like a wall there, but uh a pavement and a bus stop there.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: You can't have the bus stop there because there's a wall, so you have to change where the bus stops were and everything.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: It was just nuts.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: So everything had to be changed.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: They had to do uh public information campaigns right across the island in schools and everything.
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: Um leaflets all over the place.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: And anyway, on the big day, it was just like right, so 3rd of July at 6am, Akianawa officially switched from driving on the right to driving on the left.
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: Just like that.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: Police officers were stationed at like the major junctions, intersections, and road workers were on hand on standby to fix any problems.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: Um, and I think like other police officers on hand just to put more in just in case those crashes and stuff like that.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: Traffic moved more slowly, but people are thinking about it more.
- 14:11SPEAKER_02: Accidents probably went down.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: They did, accidents went down.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: So, remarkably, there's hardly any accidents at all.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: And so, despite fears of like you know, mass confusion on the road, the transition was actually quite successful because they'd spent months trying to prepare everybody, ready for it.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: In the end, it was successful and they're the same as the mainland.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: But this they call it a project, it was called a project 730 because it happened on the 30th of July, and uh it says it's one of the largest conversions ever successfully completed in the world.
- 14:49unknown: Wow.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: That isn't it?
- 14:51SPEAKER_02: That is, man.
- 14:52SPEAKER_02: Anyone actually done it?
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:53SPEAKER_02: Because it seems like it's too complicated to undertake.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: I mean, you know, I've been driving since I was 17.
- 14:58SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: That's fuck me.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: It's 33 years.
- 15:01SPEAKER_02: It's a long time, that like.
- 15:04SPEAKER_02: Getting that now, aren't you?
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: So that means Jimmy's been driving for 43 years.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: That's really old.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: Fucking hell, yeah.
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: I always love getting that in.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: He's always been doing something a bit longer than me.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: I'm old, but you're really old.
- 15:17SPEAKER_02: He just looks like you're gloating when he gets the bus for free and you've still got a pass.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, he loves his free bus pass! He loves it.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: There's been a few times now and I've said to him, I'll come pick it up.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: No, it's okay, I want to use your free bus pass.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: Right then, so finally, I'll on this day.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: Big shimmer.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: Big shimmer.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: So 30 July 1945.
- 15:39SPEAKER_02: I can't believe we're doing that.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: Lux shift, I'll cut it out.
- 15:44SPEAKER_02: No, you'll have to leave it in.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: Ah shits and gigs, innit?
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: You might have heard of this story, um, and a lot of you would have heard it, but it's just so hellish.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: I've gotta tell it again.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: It's not a horror movie, right?
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: It's okay.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: But it's one of those things that it's so real.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: You're like, oh look at that on Fenny Bossy, so it might have been scary for you.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: Go on now, it wouldn't be scary in big boys.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: Okay, so 30 July 1945.
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: So we're talking wartime, and this involves war, secrecy, hundreds of men stranded in the ocean, sharks, okay.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: Heavy cruiser, USS Indianapolis, as one of the most important ships in the US Navy.
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: And on this day, um, in July 1945, it was on a really important mission.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: It was delivering components for the atomic bomb that would later be used in Hiroshima.
- 16:43SPEAKER_02: Oh wow.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: But the crew had no idea what they were transporting, they just knew it was something really important.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: After completing the delivery, the Indianapolis was ordered towards the Philippines.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: And shortly after midnight on 3rd of July, a disaster struck quite literally.
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: A Japanese submarine, the I-58, spotted the cruiser and launched torpedoes, and two struck the target.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: The damage was catastrophic and the ship sank.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: What they reckon was in roughly 12 minutes.
- 17:16SPEAKER_02: Fucking hell, that was quick.
- 17:17SPEAKER_02: Must have gone in half.
- 17:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: It must have.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: So around 300 men went down with the actual vessel.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: And around seven, uh sorry, nine hundred survived the sinking itself, but they ended up floating in the Pacific Ocean.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: So unfortunately, the nightmare was only just beginning.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: So as if having the ship blown up and then landed in the sea wasn't bad enough.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: Because wartime communication, there was failures within the communications, and nobody realised the ship was missing.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: So no rescue operation was launched, no searches organised, and the survivors drifted in the ocean for four days.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: No fresh water.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: So many became severely dehydrated, and some men drank uh seawater out of desperation, then become hallucinated because of all the salts in the body.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: Some believed they could see islands and all that because they were hallucinating so bad.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: Others thought they saw rescue ships that weren't there.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: So the ones that hadn't been drinking the water like that.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: No, mate, there's no ship there.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: Stop drinking the fucking water, you know.
- 18:23SPEAKER_02: Tastes like shit as well.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: Obviously, it does.
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: When you get a gobfall in the sea, oh, it's horrible, isn't it?
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: Obviously, they're in the sea.
- 18:31SPEAKER_00: No, they're gonna be treading water, maybe on the back a little bit, but if it gets a little bit, you know, wavy, you're gonna have to tread a little bit and you can't so yeah, you can't you can't lie still, you can't tread for too long.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: So you gotta do a little bit of the the boat, aren't you?
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: And so it's gonna be exhausting, absolutely exhausting.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: Obviously, where they are, they're on the waist of the Philippines exposure to the tropical sun, it caused severe burns in some of the guys' salt water and sun.
- 18:59SPEAKER_02: You thought, oh god, yeah, your skin's gonna be peeling.
- 19:02SPEAKER_00: So not only that, so they're thirsty, so they're dehydrated, they're bobbing round in water, partly on the back, partly treading water, exhausted from it all, they're getting burnt from it all.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: They start seeing shark fins.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: Oh oceanic white-tipped sharks and other species begin appearing around the survivors.
- 19:28SPEAKER_02: You mean lunch.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: So can you imagine Bobbin in the water and all your mates are there?
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: You know who's there?
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: Bit by bit, one by one, some of the men were just going and disappearing under the water.
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: Literally, that's what was happening.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: The survivor accounts and the guys said that they literally were looking over at the mate at the R ice, and next thing underwater.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: And they might see like a pool of blood.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: And then once one's gone, that's it.
- 19:56SPEAKER_02: The blood's in the water.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: It's and they're like, shit, am I gonna be next?
- 19:59SPEAKER_02: It's an or you can eat buffet for the shark, isn't it?
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: And then they can't really fall asleep because they're always looking for the sharks.
- 20:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: They're a bit too delirious to think like we'll sleep in shifts or whatever.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: Then what's a shift?
- 20:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: Nobody's coming to rescue them.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: They know this because they knew that there was communication failures.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: I don't know whether I'd just taught myself there in there.
- 20:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: I mean, what survival instinct have you got to have?
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: I mean, you think all hope is lost.
- 20:26SPEAKER_02: After four days.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: Nobody's come to look for you?
- 20:28SPEAKER_02: You know no one's coming.
- 20:29SPEAKER_02: You know you've probably not even moved.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: It doesn't bear thinking about really, does it?
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: On the 2nd of August 1945, a patrol aircraft happened to spot survivors by chance.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: It wasn't looking for the Indianapolis at all.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: It just stumbles across them.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: And rescue operations began immediately, obviously.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: So we know that around 900 men entered the water, only 316 remained alive.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: You can assume that, you know, some of them were pulled under by sharks, some have died by exhaustion, heat exhaustion, whatever.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: About a third.
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: But a third out of the ones who were actually went in the water, 300 went down with the ship.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: It's absolutely nuts.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: The Navy initially blamed the captain and court-martials and like he got torpedoed.
- 21:24unknown: Yeah.
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: Maybe like, oh, didn't you see it coming?
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: What the fuck am I supposed to do?
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: Anyway, no, he didn't.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: Many survivors um said that was really unfair.
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: And eventually in the 2000s, um United States Congress formally exonerated him.
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: But he lived all them years with that blame on his head.
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: All them men.
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: It's absolutely terrible.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: But when I was reading this, I mean, I know the story, but I knew about the sharks.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: I didn't know exactly how long they were in the water, but I didn't really think about the the salt water burning my skin and the the sun and the dehydration, the delirium and all that.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: And I've only one shot.
- 22:02SPEAKER_02: I wouldn't have stayed afloat that long.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: No.
- 22:04SPEAKER_02: Not a chance.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: I think I just would have gone under.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: I just wanted to.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I would have totally.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: Totally and utterly.
- 22:12SPEAKER_02: Because then you would I'd thought I don't want to live with I don't know, maybe it's just my head, but I think everyone does it.
- 22:19SPEAKER_02: The rest of your life you're going to play out every other scenario of what happened in the water.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, of course you are.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: Imagine the PCSG from that.
- 22:26SPEAKER_02: You've got enough to keep a counsellor busy for the rest of your life.
- 22:28SPEAKER_02: And you're just thinking, I can't know.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: Survivor guilds.
- 22:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, especially if your best mate's gone down.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: I've seen them going down one by one.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: There's 900 in the water.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: 316 came out.
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: So you're talking nearly 600 of your mates, your colleagues, your comrades, you've been on the ship for fucking months, are getting fucking pulled under bit by bit.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, the trauma from that.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: Honest to God, the trauma.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: What do you think's the worst way to go?
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: It's a bit of dangly, but worse.
- 22:58SPEAKER_02: I would say drowning, you know.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: Is that the one that you would not like to go by, or do you think that's probably the worst way that you think you could go?
- 23:06SPEAKER_02: No, I think that's one I would not like to go by, I think.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: So that's mine.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: I don't know whether either I died um by drowning a previous life or something.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: I haven't got a fear of water.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: But you know you're in the bath and you put your head under you like, oh like that, I always have this thing that somebody is gonna put the hand on my chest and push me under every time.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: And I know they're not, and I'm like I have my eyes closed, and even the house on me and I go make sure somebody's nose is in there like looking around.
- 23:34SPEAKER_00: It's just got this like oh I don't know if that'd be stupid, but um, I don't know, fire.
- 23:40SPEAKER_00: Fire's bad.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: Fire because obviously you choke on the fumes, and if the fumes don't get you, then obviously the heat and then eventually the flames.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: Do you reckon that you conk out before you it depends on what's in the fire, carbon monoxide or whatever.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: They reckon depend on sort of fire it is.
- 23:56SPEAKER_02: People still scream when they're on fire, so they haven't conked out.
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: Witch trials, man.
- 23:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: Witch trials burning from your feet up, feeling that pain, seeing your skin sizzle.
- 24:06SPEAKER_02: I think actually bleeding to death would be better than fire or drowning.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: Well you just you just pass out.
- 24:12SPEAKER_02: Slowly just fall as well.
- 24:13SPEAKER_02: You just pass out and die.
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you would.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: So drowning, I think filling your ling lungs up with water.
- 24:20SPEAKER_02: Is that quick?
- 24:21SPEAKER_02: Does that shut you down before you die?
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: I don't know, but the feeling of your lungs fall.
- 24:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: Uh no, I don't think I'd like that.
- 24:27SPEAKER_02: I would hate that.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: But fire.
- 24:31SPEAKER_02: Fire, no.
- 24:32SPEAKER_02: At least be warm.
- 24:33SPEAKER_02: But no, I wouldn't like fire.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: No.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: Anyway, that's a bit more, isn't it?
- 24:38SPEAKER_02: Sharks would not be good.
- 24:40SPEAKER_02: All the depends what the shark bites off.
- 24:44SPEAKER_02: Bites your head off in one go.
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: Well then you're dead.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: But if it bite if it bites you from like the pelvis down and you've got all your entry.
- 24:52SPEAKER_02: That would be fascinating, but also knows.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: Because you'd still be alive until you're bled out.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: So you'd the you you wouldn't be able to feel it because all your nerve endings would be severed, but you'd be fully aware after the shock, you just go into shock and die.
- 25:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you look whoa.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: Because you're losing blood anyway, you go into shock.
- 25:06SPEAKER_00: Oh no, no, no.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: But no, there's a new shock attacks, attacks, hasn't there around about in America, Florida, and Australia.
- 25:14SPEAKER_00: There's a programme.
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: Um there's a shark season on Discovery.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: It was all about the shock attacks in Florida.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: I think it's a lot of it.
- 25:21SPEAKER_02: I'm sure they did shark week on Discovery every year.
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: Just said that.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: Oh, every year is it?
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: Oh, right.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: Oh, it is.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's good.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: We'll have another look.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: Not that I want to see people dying like, but fucking hell, it just brings it home.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: It's not your dangle.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: I wasn't meant to do that, but there you go.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: Right then, I am gonna do a segment which has come from a lazy lobotomy.
- 25:42SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: Somebody sent in a question um a little while back, about four weeks ago, I think, something like that, three weeks ago.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: And um it was too good to just do as a lazy lobotomy, so that I'd do it as a segment.
- 25:54SPEAKER_02: Okay, yeah.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: It's a little bit fun as well.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: It's not funny, although you might find it a bit funny.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: It was light hearted, it's really nice.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: I just thought you'd quite like to hear about it and talk about it.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: You might have seen some people, who knows?
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: So, if I asked any of you nillas what a BDSM event looks like, you'd probably be like, you know, people in black, whips, chains, shouting, maybe black and red, low right lighting, that kind of thing.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you wouldn't expect somebody crawling around on all fours wearing ears and a bell meowing.
- 26:29SPEAKER_00: But they do.
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: We know they do.
- 26:31SPEAKER_00: If you've watched the podcast this long, we've talked about it before.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: But for no us who don't know, that just sounds nuts.
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: It doesn't go along with BDSM at all.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: Why is a cast crawling around on the floor BDSM?
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: Today I am going to be talking about the playful, psychological, maybe wholesome form of BDSM play called Pep play.
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: Oh yes, I remember somebody actually asked for this ages ago, and I went, it's it's on the cards, it's coming.
- 26:59SPEAKER_00: But then one of the ladies of Lobosomy came through.
- 27:01SPEAKER_00: Do you know what?
- 27:01SPEAKER_00: I'll tell you the Lady Lebostomy, I haven't written it down, but it was really interesting.
- 27:05SPEAKER_00: It was a mum of um, I think they said their child was 20, so an adult.
- 27:11SPEAKER_00: And uh they were going out on a nice house, and uh they had ears on and like feline makeup.
- 27:19SPEAKER_00: I said, Are you going out doing fancy dress or something?
- 27:22SPEAKER_00: Just I'm quite open on relationship, yeah.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: And she said, No, no, I'm going to a club event.
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: And she went, Oh right, in that club you've been to before.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: She said, Yeah, it's a pet play event, and I'm a cat.
- 27:34SPEAKER_00: And she didn't go into any detail apart from so the mum not really understands it thought it's like a cosplay, or she's it's a BTSM event and they've got a theme.
- 27:44SPEAKER_00: It's fancy dress, it's a theme.
- 27:45SPEAKER_00: She went, Oh right, okay.
- 27:47SPEAKER_00: Didn't really get it at all.
- 27:49SPEAKER_00: And she brought it up with a friend.
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: It was quite a long question, so I'm not reading out.
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: Brought it up with a friend and a friend went, That's kinky.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: And she went, No, it's just fancy dress, you're going to it's a it's a venue like that, but it's like a theme.
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: She went, I don't think there's a thing called actual pet play.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: And she's like, Fuck off, really.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: So she wrote in and she said, I don't feel able to ask her.
- 28:07SPEAKER_00: She's told me what she wants to tell me.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: So what I actually is in is this all about because not because I want to judge her, but I just want to understand what it is that she's enjoying, which I thought was quite nice.
- 28:18SPEAKER_02: Quite nice at the moment, but I just want to learn.
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:21SPEAKER_00: That was a very long-winded way of explaining a question, but yeah, but there you go.
- 28:25SPEAKER_02: But yeah.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: So pet play is an umbrella term.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: Um, so it's not just one thing, it involves a person taking on uh characteristics, behaviours, personality, um, the mindset, the role of an animal.
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: Any animal, it can be any animal, and it can be a real animal or it can be a mythical mythical animal.
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: So unicorns, there's unicorns out there.
- 28:46SPEAKER_02: That is.
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: There's griffins, there's phoenix, there's all sorts out there.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: But most people take on an actual animal, and the most popular one is I don't say dog.
- 28:56SPEAKER_00: It is dog, yeah.
- 28:58SPEAKER_00: But actually, um there's more wolves in that category than there are dogs, yes.
- 29:04SPEAKER_02: There's wolf packs, dogs, cats, and horses.
- 29:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they're the most popular, yeah.
- 29:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, um, but yeah, wolves, they have got their own little subcasters talked about it before in the past.
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna go into depth like this before, but yeah, wolves.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: So, why do people want to do this?
- 29:21SPEAKER_00: It is fun, of course it is.
- 29:23SPEAKER_00: Any kind of role play is fun.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: Um, and it can be part of BDM dynamic, or it doesn't need to be, you haven't got to have a dominance, or you haven't got to be a submissive, you haven't got to be a dominant yourself.
- 29:33SPEAKER_00: You can just be into pet play.
- 29:35SPEAKER_00: I just want to be a dog or whatever, and it can be a form of stress release.
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: If you think about it, we pay our bills, we pay our mortgage, we've got a load of stress on our hands, we've got to think what we're having for tea, make the kids tea, all that kind of thing.
- 29:48SPEAKER_00: If you're a pet, a dog, especially, you get fed, yeah, you get taken for walks, they play with you, you get told you're a good boy.
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's all good, isn't it?
- 30:00SPEAKER_02: It's all pays in life, yeah.
- 30:01SPEAKER_00: It's all the good stuff in life.
- 30:03SPEAKER_00: So, you know, if after you know a day in work you can go along to a club and just be a dog for three hours and have your ears tickles or your balls tickled, whatever it is, it'd be great, wouldn't it?
- 30:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 30:14SPEAKER_00: So you can sort of see from a stretch relief point of view, and it might be an identity that somebody feels deeply connected to, it could just be ears that they put on could be a playful thing that they like to do.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: It it's a the scope is absolutely huge.
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: But what surprises most people is that not actually um just a fetish, it's not automatically a fetish, it can it can just be a persona, it can be it's not a kink to me.
- 30:39SPEAKER_00: I just I just I just want to be a dog tonight.
- 30:41SPEAKER_00: It's not a kink, I just that's what I want to do.
- 30:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, uh, and some people describe it as meditation.
- 30:47SPEAKER_00: I can imagine that if you're having like your head stroked or your ears.
- 30:51SPEAKER_02: I mean I've seen some of them in the club on the dogs.
- 30:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and you see them as like little lights on the laser lights and they're chasing after them.
- 30:57SPEAKER_00: I've seen cats uh kiled up on people's laps and everything and on the sofa.
- 31:02SPEAKER_00: Oh wow, I've never seen cats.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I've actually seen a cat lip lip uh lapping a sauce of milk as well.
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: That was not good.
- 31:09SPEAKER_02: That was the milk for you, not the puffing.
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: It was the milk, it was the milk.
- 31:13SPEAKER_00: So puppies.
- 31:14SPEAKER_00: Yes, you've probably seen quite a few pups around and about.
- 31:18SPEAKER_00: Have you ever been to Pride?
- 31:19SPEAKER_00: You might have seen some pups around.
- 31:22SPEAKER_02: That's why it's probably very wrong, but I think some people probably get into it because it's actually so easy to go and buy a pub mast.
- 31:27SPEAKER_02: It is.
- 31:28SPEAKER_02: You can literally just go on on Amazon and you'll know people will buy them out of curiosity.
- 31:32SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 31:33SPEAKER_02: Oh, I quite like this.
- 31:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I mean some people spend a lot of money on these though.
- 31:36SPEAKER_00: I remember seeing some of these.
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds on really good ones.
- 31:42SPEAKER_00: It's more expensive actually getting um like you know the horse bridles and manes and all the rest of it.
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: But these pub players, they'll wear hoods, collars, tails, knee pads, which is essential, little mitts which you were had last time.
- 31:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we didn't know of the specialist gear, the bark, the wag, they play fetch.
- 31:58SPEAKER_00: I played fetch with pups in the club.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, I had the best time.
- 32:01SPEAKER_00: I was throwing um balls up and down the lounge, it was great.
- 32:04SPEAKER_00: One lit up, it was brilliant, really good.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and some um enjoy praise from the handler, so when they've done something good, they get called called a good boy or good girl, they like that.
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: Um, but like I said before, yeah, they've got a pretty good deal, the pups, I think.
- 32:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they have actually.
- 32:21SPEAKER_02: I've never thought of it like that, but they have.
- 32:23SPEAKER_02: They literally get weak.
- 32:24SPEAKER_00: They get looked after, definitely, yeah.
- 32:26SPEAKER_00: Life becomes simpler and play becomes a priority.
- 32:30SPEAKER_00: Um, similar with cats, but cats I've found in the BDSMT tend to be a bit more testy, a bit more feisty.
- 32:39SPEAKER_00: So they do have their moments, but when people role-play these, from my experience, they literally roleplay the animal.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: So a dog is loyal.
- 32:50SPEAKER_00: So if the handler goes to the toilet and the handler comes back, the dog is like goes right up to them in the wagon and all this, I'm happy to see you.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: If you've been gone for two weeks.
- 32:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: Cats, when I've seen them in the club, the handler goes off.
- 33:03SPEAKER_02: They go to the next handler's gonna stroke them.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: They literally go to the next person.
- 33:06SPEAKER_02: Why is it?
- 33:06SPEAKER_00: And so when the handler comes back in, they're like, What the fuck?
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: You've gone to somebody else's jokes.
- 33:12SPEAKER_02: You left.
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Judas.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: But that's what they do, they take on the personality traits.
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: So the puppies do tend to be more like kind and affectionate and all that.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: Cats will be affectionate on their terms, selfish.
- 33:26SPEAKER_02: My mum always said, Dogs have owners, cats have slaves.
- 33:31SPEAKER_00: Absolutely, absolutely.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: The cats that I've seen, some of them do play and they have like balls of paper and stuff like that, balls of bowl and the little lights.
- 33:39SPEAKER_00: And they are affectionate and they have the little bells and they love to have cuddles and strokes, but they can also be a bit feisty.
- 33:46SPEAKER_00: So, you know, where puppies are often like eager to please and enthusiastic, can uh cats tend to be very independent and aloof.
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: So they might have a handler, but if they look better, they'll go over to them.
- 33:58SPEAKER_00: Or you might strike a stroke down, they'll go they'll lick your stroke off, that kind of thing, you know.
- 34:05SPEAKER_00: They're quite funny cats.
- 34:06SPEAKER_00: Cats might ignore commands, they might ignore the name.
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: Whereas puppies will always come to the name.
- 34:13SPEAKER_00: So for some cats, they seem to role-play really accurately, so you can definitely see what they're trying to be.
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: Uh, and at the end of the night or the end of the scene, you'll often see them curled up in a little dark corner, literally just curls up on a blanket.
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: And it'll see.
- 34:27SPEAKER_00: Once they've had their fun, and I've seen them go on zoomies and everything, chase other cats around.
- 34:31SPEAKER_00: I've seen it all.
- 34:32SPEAKER_00: I could write a fucking book.
- 34:33SPEAKER_00: Well, I have to see.
- 34:33SPEAKER_00: I've seen lots of dogs play at the club.
- 34:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, dogs are great, especially on the gay nights.
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: Um, we have them on all nights, but when I've seen them on the gay nights, they get the full nine yards.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: I've said before, whole latex Dalmatian outfits, but even the ones that were the leather, they have really good quality leather hoods, and some have uh one ear up, one down.
- 34:52SPEAKER_00: They have like little personalities, they have different colours, some have got eyelashes, and the tails are all different, some of them have the pores, they have harnesses to match and everything.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's just brilliant.
- 35:01SPEAKER_00: It really is.
- 35:02SPEAKER_02: Like, wow.
- 35:03SPEAKER_00: They spend a lot of money, yeah.
- 35:05SPEAKER_00: And you know, it's become not an obsession, it's become a hobby, and when they go into that persona, then all the gear it adds to that persona and helps them get into the mindset, but also it helps all of us get into the mindset as well.
- 35:18SPEAKER_00: So when we see the pups, we're not we're seeing a person, of course, we are, but we're seeing all the gear that's got on us, and it helps us get into the role as well.
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we are really good.
- 35:28SPEAKER_00: So, ponies we've talked about ponies a little bit before.
- 35:32SPEAKER_00: Uh, we've done pony in the club and we've had somebody doing dressage, we've had pony racing, we've had uh a pony box in the back, lent by a certain somebody, yeah, with hay as well.
- 35:45SPEAKER_00: Hang on a minute, getting a bit dry.
- 35:49SPEAKER_00: Um, and ponies, they um they generally focus on headspace and playfulness.
- 35:58SPEAKER_00: Pony play, it frequently incorporates like training and and discipline and performance and and stuff like that.
- 36:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they might learn like specific movements and postures, specific commands, clicks sometimes.
- 36:11SPEAKER_02: Very glamorous as well, aren't they?
- 36:13SPEAKER_00: Very, very much so.
- 36:15SPEAKER_00: The difference with horses and ponies, the horses I've seen have been like um the big massive ones with the hair over the Shire.
- 36:24SPEAKER_00: Shire.
- 36:24SPEAKER_00: I was gonna say Shetland, that's a pony.
- 36:26SPEAKER_00: That's tired.
- 36:26SPEAKER_00: Shire.
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: So I've seen somebody with like proper hooves, standing on hooves with all the hair.
- 36:33SPEAKER_00: And then they had hooves on their on their hands, but they were up in the air.
- 36:37SPEAKER_00: And then they had um a big like bridle thing and a mane which matched the hair.
- 36:43SPEAKER_02: And you have that really sort of tight black PVC leather, whatever.
- 36:48SPEAKER_00: Some of them do, yeah.
- 36:49SPEAKER_02: Wrapped down their like like you would see a horse's tail has been brown bound due to the hair.
- 36:56SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 36:56SPEAKER_00: Um, and some of them they'll braid, some of them just leave it, uh, and they'll wear a butt plug, usually as well, for a tail.
- 37:04SPEAKER_00: And the gear, I just I couldn't tell you how much it costs because you know it's it's horse gear made for humans, so it's been adapted, and it's really good quality leather that they use on this stuff.
- 37:20SPEAKER_02: The shoes get me, like you said.
- 37:21SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 37:23SPEAKER_02: With uh I don't know.
- 37:25SPEAKER_00: Have you seen the heels that are like that, but they haven't actually got a heel?
- 37:28SPEAKER_02: They've just got a toe piece.
- 37:29SPEAKER_00: That's what they're like, and then but it's still hard to walk on them and then leave the horseshoe print as well, don't they?
- 37:35SPEAKER_00: But then these guys also they're just walking, they're doing dress ups.
- 37:40SPEAKER_00: So when I first uh got up close and personal to these trotters, I was like, the fuck you were walking then, and he's like, It's took me a while, like, and he went, but you know, it's taken me a long time to get dressage.
- 37:52SPEAKER_00: I he was amazing, and he was literally going and all this.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: There's mane.
- 37:58SPEAKER_00: So the difference with pony and the horses is ponying and horse, you can do still do the competitions and you wear all the gear and all the rest of it, but the horses they tend to involve more specialised harnesses, carts.
- 38:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you would have seen probably of there's some really old um BSM porn out there as a black carriage with like a mistress and like Victorian sort of big massive coach whip, and she's got two horses at the front and they're going around a field.
- 38:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 38:24SPEAKER_00: So they do all that kind of thing, and the equipment for the horses tends to be a lot more expensive.
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: Then there's loads of more like other pets that we don't really discuss very much, but they're still out there.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: I haven't seen some of these foxes, yes, yeah, I've seen foxes.
- 38:39SPEAKER_00: I've actually seen foxes on the swinging scene as well.
- 38:42SPEAKER_00: Um foxes and victims, and they'll do fox hunts through the forest.
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: And they catch them and then they'll yeah, all are their way.
- 38:53SPEAKER_00: Wolves, I've just had before.
- 38:55SPEAKER_00: Rabbits, I've seen one over the years.
- 38:59SPEAKER_00: One, two, maybe.
- 39:00SPEAKER_00: I saw one day, somebody in Latex.
- 39:03SPEAKER_00: Bears.
- 39:03SPEAKER_00: I've not actually seen somebody who's trying to be a burr, but obviously birds are a big thing on the gay scene.
- 39:10SPEAKER_00: Because they're hairy and big guys, beard.
- 39:13SPEAKER_00: What a good bear.
- 39:14SPEAKER_00: Piggies.
- 39:15SPEAKER_00: We've had one piggy in the club, and there's something that I'm going to tell you off her about the piggy.
- 39:21SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 39:22SPEAKER_00: Goats, never seen the goats.
- 39:23SPEAKER_00: Lambs, lamb to the slaughter.
- 39:26SPEAKER_00: When I read that, I was like bow peeps.
- 39:28SPEAKER_02: I've never seen a lamb.
- 39:29SPEAKER_00: I've seen a bow peep.
- 39:31SPEAKER_00: I saw the bow peep, uh, a really kinky bow peep at a torture garden years ago.
- 39:36SPEAKER_00: She's really good, yeah.
- 39:38SPEAKER_00: But uh yeah, as soon as I read lambs, I'm like, oh lamb to the slaughter.
- 39:41SPEAKER_00: I had all sorts of scenes going through my head already, how I'd slaughter this lamb in front of everybody.
- 39:46SPEAKER_02: I had this cute little fluffy lamb, like off at East Advent, like Sean and the sheep going do do do jumping around.
- 39:52SPEAKER_00: And I'm imagining how I'm gonna do a public scene slaughtering this lamb.
- 39:56SPEAKER_02: Letting his blood pool out into the candles ceremoniously, yeah.
- 40:00SPEAKER_00: Deer, I haven't seen one, but I imagine that would be quite regal.
- 40:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 40:04SPEAKER_00: Imagine seeing a stag with like big horns and all that.
- 40:07SPEAKER_00: Oh imagine that.
- 40:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 40:09SPEAKER_02: That would you know, that would remind me like Beauty and the Beast.
- 40:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 40:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 40:14SPEAKER_02: That would.
- 40:15SPEAKER_02: That would be that sort of setup.
- 40:16SPEAKER_00: Beauty and it'd be obvious for years.
- 40:18SPEAKER_00: Dragons, I've seen a dragon, but I know there's loads.
- 40:21SPEAKER_00: Loads of groups on online, I think for dragons.
- 40:24SPEAKER_00: Dinosaurs.
- 40:26SPEAKER_02: It's just holding it.
- 40:27SPEAKER_00: What'd you be?
- 40:28SPEAKER_00: What would you be if you're gonna be a dinosaur?
- 40:30SPEAKER_00: What's a dinosaur?
- 40:31SPEAKER_00: Do you think he's ordered?
- 40:32SPEAKER_02: If I was gonna be a dinosaur, do you know what?
- 40:38SPEAKER_02: I think I'd probably be like I'd want to fly.
- 40:41SPEAKER_02: I'd be a tad act of living.
- 40:43SPEAKER_00: I think I'd want to fly.
- 40:44SPEAKER_00: I've got to think about flying anyway.
- 40:46SPEAKER_00: Do you have dreams about flying?
- 40:48SPEAKER_00: No, I do.
- 40:49SPEAKER_00: Travel this recently with somebody else.
- 40:50SPEAKER_00: I have dreams like regular about flying.
- 40:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 40:53SPEAKER_00: Literally my feet are off the ground, and for that moment, it just feels like you're on air in Alton Towers where it feels like you're it just feels like that in my dream.
- 41:00SPEAKER_00: And I don't want to wake up.
- 41:01SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh.
- 41:02SPEAKER_00: We did that zip line.
- 41:03SPEAKER_00: Be like that.
- 41:04SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's so good, isn't it?
- 41:05SPEAKER_00: It's amazing, yeah.
- 41:06SPEAKER_00: Obviously, me and Haley did the zip line in UN, didn't it?
- 41:08SPEAKER_00: It's really good.
- 41:10SPEAKER_00: Was it nice weather when you did it?
- 41:12SPEAKER_02: It was actually.
- 41:13SPEAKER_02: It was dry and it wasn't windy, it wasn't rainy, it wasn't like it is now.
- 41:16SPEAKER_00: Oh, it was bloody pissing down when we did it, but it stopped just at that moment.
- 41:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it was nice.
- 41:20SPEAKER_02: It was didn't need your big coat that day.
- 41:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we did that to the day.
- 41:24SPEAKER_02: We had big coats on.
- 41:25SPEAKER_02: That's that's flying, that's the closest thing I'll ever you'll ever get to flying.
- 41:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that was really good.
- 41:31unknown: Oh, so good.
- 41:32SPEAKER_00: Anyway, so just going back to what I was saying at the beginning, not every pet's got an owner or a handler, and not every pet is submissive.
- 41:40SPEAKER_00: People assume, because you've got ears on or whatever, that you're looking to submit to a handler of some sort.
- 41:47SPEAKER_00: No, um, some people are literally just they just want to be that pest, they don't want any power dynamic whatsoever.
- 41:54SPEAKER_00: They just want to embody that animal and and be that animal just for that nice or or whatever.
- 42:00SPEAKER_00: Nothing more.
- 42:02SPEAKER_00: So why do people do it?
- 42:03SPEAKER_00: Why do they people do it, Paz?
- 42:04SPEAKER_02: I think like with a lot of the kink side of stuff, things like that, people do it.
- 42:09SPEAKER_02: It's a it's a giving up, it's a step back from reality.
- 42:13SPEAKER_02: It's giving up your I want to say power, but I don't mean giving up your power like in a submissive thing.
- 42:19SPEAKER_02: I mean it's you going, do you know what?
- 42:22SPEAKER_02: For the next four hours, I'm just make decisions for me.
- 42:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 42:27SPEAKER_00: I don't actually want to want to drink because there's too many options, just choose something for me.
- 42:30SPEAKER_02: I don't want to use my own brain power.
- 42:33SPEAKER_02: It's like a like when you touched on meditation, you can sort of see it.
- 42:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 42:38SPEAKER_02: It's switching yourself off and just enjoying yourself relaxing.
- 42:42SPEAKER_02: Some people will go and sit in a sauna for an hour, some people can just go and lie in the field and listen to nature.
- 42:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 42:49SPEAKER_02: Other people want to go to the townhouse to sit on the floor and get their boneos.
- 42:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 42:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I remember standing in one.
- 42:58SPEAKER_02: Hold the bone.
- 42:59SPEAKER_02: Oh, I love the bone, little baby with gravy bones.
- 43:02SPEAKER_02: A gravy one as well.
- 43:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, um yeah, I think they just do it just for it's an escapism.
- 43:09SPEAKER_02: Like literally anything you do in life is an escapism.
- 43:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 43:12SPEAKER_00: Whatever you do it for anything like you choose to do with your free time.
- 43:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there's being a conscious decision.
- 43:17SPEAKER_00: I want to close my brain off to all that.
- 43:20SPEAKER_00: I'm doing this because it's going to relax my brain.
- 43:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 43:22SPEAKER_02: So it is my head off and I'm just doing this.
- 43:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 43:26SPEAKER_00: So it's all that, what you've just said there, but a little bit more.
- 43:29SPEAKER_00: So it is, yeah, we carry responsibilities all the time, and so it is handing over for a couple of hours.
- 43:35SPEAKER_00: Um, and psychologists describe similar experiences as forms of role immersion.
- 43:41SPEAKER_00: So the individual temporarily steps outside their everyday identity.
- 43:46SPEAKER_00: It says it's not so different from actors losing themselves in roles, and some actors don't come out of the role until they finish filming, do they?
- 43:51SPEAKER_00: Eve ledger's prime example.
- 43:53SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 43:54SPEAKER_00: A lot don't.
- 43:55SPEAKER_00: The other person that did that was um Meryl Streep when she did the first Devil Words Project.
- 44:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: She actually said to the one who's with her, Anne Hathaway, I I heard this, I think it was on Graham Norton or something.
- 44:07SPEAKER_00: And she said, Oh, she was great.
- 44:09SPEAKER_00: She said, But on the first day of filming, she came and said, Oh, I'm I'm um Merrill.
- 44:14SPEAKER_00: She said, I haven't met you before, but it's gonna be really nice to work with you.
- 44:17SPEAKER_00: This is the last time I'm gonna be nice to you until this is over.
- 44:20SPEAKER_00: And she just walked off and she was a complete cunt the whole time, and she just stayed in role the whole time.
- 44:26SPEAKER_00: And apparently, when everybody else is going off having like lunches and you know socialising and stuff, she was like, No, she's just I'm gonna stay in my in my room.
- 44:33SPEAKER_00: She just yeah, she just kept it in role.
- 44:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's how immersed she was, but maybe she's just not like that at all in real life, and she's had to immerse herself.
- 44:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so another reason is emotional connection.
- 44:45SPEAKER_00: So pets often experience affection differently from humans, so you know like puppies, they don't need like complicated conversation, just need good boy pat pat.
- 44:56SPEAKER_00: It's simplifying things, and pet players often describe this need to be cared for during scenes, but a simple form of emotional connection and care, not like you know, I'm gonna cook an elaborate meal and massage your feet.
- 45:12SPEAKER_00: No, I'm just gonna I'm gonna stroke your head and tell you that I love you and and you know cuddle you and call you a good boy and feed you cheese.
- 45:18SPEAKER_00: I just want you to relax.
- 45:20SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna play with you, yeah, yeah.
- 45:21SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna share this enjoyable time with you.
- 45:24SPEAKER_00: So a lot of people enjoy that emotional connection, even if they haven't got handlers, they'll go to events and get chatting to people and like you want to come play ball with me.
- 45:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I've done it before today, it's brilliant.
- 45:33SPEAKER_00: I've played with cats and everything.
- 45:35SPEAKER_02: I've seen it, I've been there.
- 45:36SPEAKER_00: It's so good, it's good for us as well to have the escapism.
- 45:40SPEAKER_00: You forget really quickly that it's a person because they they just take on the role, and before you know it, you're like, Oh good boy, bring it back.
- 45:47SPEAKER_00: And you're like, what the fuck are we doing?
- 45:49SPEAKER_02: You do you do forget.
- 45:50SPEAKER_02: The ones I've met, you forget.
- 45:52SPEAKER_02: It's so good.
- 45:56SPEAKER_02: What was it you were saying about the gear and stuff and how it helps them become that person, it helps us because you might know them as their human name will say when they come in and you chat away, but the minute they're changed, you know yourself they're called the patch.
- 46:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly that.
- 46:14SPEAKER_00: It helps you get into the mindset for them.
- 46:17SPEAKER_02: And then because they're so good that you you don't think anything different than saying, Oh, that's a patch.
- 46:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I've had them give me paws and everything.
- 46:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 46:24SPEAKER_00: I there's no there's no humour.
- 46:26SPEAKER_00: They're not I'm not mocking them.
- 46:28SPEAKER_00: And they're gonna bring a ball back, or like, give me a paw, a treat, give me a paw, paw.
- 46:33SPEAKER_00: Other paw.
- 46:34SPEAKER_02: So you do that quite well because it's yeah.
- 46:36SPEAKER_00: And I haven't got dogs anymore, so we've actually we've actually got a pet play event coming up.
- 46:41SPEAKER_00: I'm like, wonder why shouldn't I go with some treats?
- 46:45SPEAKER_00: Have some time time with the pumps.
- 46:47SPEAKER_02: Go with a bag of dreaming.
- 46:48SPEAKER_00: It's great, it's really great.
- 46:50SPEAKER_00: So, you know, some people judge these sort of kinks, you know, it's weird.
- 46:55SPEAKER_00: What are you doing that for?
- 46:56SPEAKER_00: It's weird.
- 46:57SPEAKER_00: It's harmless.
- 46:58SPEAKER_02: It is harmless.
- 46:59SPEAKER_02: I would say to anyone, like I'm not into pet play at all, but I would say to anyone if they say it's weird, you say absolutely you don't like it when someone strokes your hair or just sits and rubs your neck, or just sits and kisses your ear.
- 47:13SPEAKER_02: Anything like that, any sort of sensation that you find enjoyable from a touch, it's just an extension.
- 47:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly that.
- 47:22SPEAKER_00: Exactly that.
- 47:23SPEAKER_00: It's not.
- 47:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 47:24SPEAKER_00: I was actually talking to a pet player when I was doing my research for this because I'm not into pet play.
- 47:29SPEAKER_00: I've been obviously handled on an event, um, but I'm I haven't got pets, I'm not a handler, and I've seen loads.
- 47:37SPEAKER_00: But you know, I've to hear first hand is best than anything, isn't it?
- 47:42SPEAKER_00: Rather than observe.
- 47:43SPEAKER_00: And I was asking one of the pups, and he actually said, Yeah, it's all of that.
- 47:48SPEAKER_00: He said, But it's really weird.
- 47:49SPEAKER_00: He said he actually wears pads on his elbows and his knees, and he gets down the floor and he's on all fours for the whole time.
- 47:56SPEAKER_00: And he went, It's really good to get down the floor and see the world from a different perspective.
- 48:05SPEAKER_00: I'm at the bar normally, I'm getting a drink.
- 48:06SPEAKER_00: He went, I'm on the floor, I can't I can't go to the bar, so I've got to think of another way around it.
- 48:11SPEAKER_00: Actually, they might bring a drink down to the floor, a bowl, or whatever, and that's absolutely fine.
- 48:16SPEAKER_00: When I'm walking around tables, I might buy my head on the table if I'm not careful.
- 48:20SPEAKER_00: People might not see me if I'm on the floor, so I've got to like pour them and let me past and stuff like that.
- 48:26SPEAKER_00: So he said, It's just looking up at the world and having other people look down on you.
- 48:30SPEAKER_00: This particular guy is six foot two.
- 48:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 48:32SPEAKER_00: So he said, My whole world is looking down on people.
- 48:36SPEAKER_00: So when I'm down on the floor, I'm now on the floor, people looking down on me.
- 48:39SPEAKER_00: Oh, look at you, he's like that looking up.
- 48:42SPEAKER_00: He went, it's that for me is the main thing, is just seeing the world from a different perspective.
- 48:46SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 48:47SPEAKER_00: I just didn't think of it that way at all.
- 48:49SPEAKER_00: It's fascinating stuff, isn't it?
- 48:52SPEAKER_00: Really, really fascinating.
- 48:53SPEAKER_00: And if any of you have got any interest in all of this, we've talked a lot about a lot about the gear.
- 48:58SPEAKER_00: And some people have got all the gear, no idea, really, you know.
- 49:01SPEAKER_00: So you don't need all the gear, all you need is the imagination and the intent.
- 49:06SPEAKER_00: Um, so you know, if you've got you've got like a little bit of a role-playing personality, some of us have, some of us haven't, and you fancy a bit of escapism, you could go to a pet play event and see how other people do it.
- 49:16SPEAKER_00: You don't need any of the gear at all, because actually you can have all the gear there, but if you haven't got it up here, it's a waste of time.
- 49:24SPEAKER_00: You're not going to enjoy it.
- 49:25SPEAKER_00: There's a person walking around with the gear.
- 49:26SPEAKER_00: You need to be a cat or a dog.
- 49:28SPEAKER_00: So you need to start up here.
- 49:30SPEAKER_00: So, no, you haven't got to go into all this.
- 49:32SPEAKER_00: Go along to events and just see if it's for you, and then you can build on and all the gear, and there's a lot of gear, believe me.
- 49:38SPEAKER_02: Paint with a little circle on your nose and put your ears on and start there.
- 49:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, also there's hair bands with like little ears.
- 49:43SPEAKER_00: There's loads of girls like a turnhouse with a hair band with ears on.
- 49:46SPEAKER_00: Even those ones are pet play, fucking wear them.
- 49:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 49:49SPEAKER_00: Look like ears actually.
- 49:50SPEAKER_02: Look at every Halloween.
- 49:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 49:52SPEAKER_02: Amount of catch you see.
- 49:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 49:54SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 49:56SPEAKER_00: So, you know, the events that you go to, it's just like every other event.
- 49:59SPEAKER_00: Uh, it's just there's pups around, there's opportunities.
- 50:02SPEAKER_00: Go along and experiment.
- 50:04SPEAKER_00: But if you want a specific one, look out for your local pet play event because there are some out there.
- 50:09SPEAKER_00: So I hope that has helped the lady who wrote in about their daughter.
- 50:14SPEAKER_00: Um, I haven't gone into much about what happens at events.
- 50:17SPEAKER_00: Um, it's very, very, very similar to what happens at other events, and you are a watcher of the Pazel because you've wrote in to me.
- 50:23SPEAKER_00: Uh, it's all the same with consent, how you get in, how you behave, and all the rest of it, just what happens there is slightly different.
- 50:30SPEAKER_00: And so I hope that has filled in some gaps for you.
- 50:33SPEAKER_00: And for the rest of you out there, you've learned something a little bit different, a little bit new.
- 50:38SPEAKER_00: And uh do you think you'd have a do it?
- 50:41SPEAKER_02: I don't think I would now, but everything changes.
- 50:45SPEAKER_02: There's things I do now that if you'd have asked me a few years ago, would you I'd have been like get to fuck no?
- 50:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 50:51SPEAKER_02: But so I always say never say never, and I can see the appeal to it, and I think that's enough for me to go, oh I do, one day.
- 50:59SPEAKER_02: I never depends on everything.
- 51:01SPEAKER_00: Um who you're with and who's doing it with you and all that.
- 51:06SPEAKER_00: I never said I'd be a submissive.
- 51:07SPEAKER_00: Never, ever, ever, ever in my life.
- 51:09SPEAKER_00: Look at me now with Jim, walking on my hands and knees and everything.
- 51:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I've done things now.
- 51:13SPEAKER_02: That it no, I wouldn't have done.
- 51:16SPEAKER_02: I wouldn't have even entertained years ago.
- 51:18unknown: Yeah.
- 51:18SPEAKER_00: But we uh we evolve our life, the journey at the end of the day.
- 51:23SPEAKER_02: You build things with certain people and things can go.
- 51:26SPEAKER_02: Do you know what?
- 51:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it could go.
- 51:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, definitely.
- 51:29SPEAKER_02: Just happens.
- 51:30SPEAKER_00: And I think we should be open-minded to things.
- 51:32SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah.
- 51:33SPEAKER_00: Open minded to th experience things ourselves, but open-minded to what everybody else is experiencing out there.
- 51:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's not I'm not even gonna say I can't shame or just be enough of a decent fucking person to go, do you know what, if that's your thing, let them tell you about it.
- 51:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you might spark an interest in yourself, which is probably why most people shame with this game.
- 51:53SPEAKER_00: Listen without judgment, yeah, listen with an open mind, and you haven't necessarily got to understand it.
- 52:00SPEAKER_00: Um, but you know, sort of you know try and learn a little bit, it'll help you accept it.
- 52:04SPEAKER_02: I remember the first dog I met years ago, it was at the club.
- 52:09SPEAKER_02: I can't remember why.
- 52:11SPEAKER_02: I don't think it was an event or if it was a kink event.
- 52:14SPEAKER_02: I can't remember what it was.
- 52:16SPEAKER_02: It's the first time I'd ever actually had a conversation with a dog.
- 52:19SPEAKER_02: There must have been a break.
- 52:20SPEAKER_02: Conversation with the dog.
- 52:22SPEAKER_02: Because there must have been a break, because we were out the back having a ciggy.
- 52:24SPEAKER_02: I was smoking then, that's how long ago it was.
- 52:26SPEAKER_02: And they just like lifted the mask and just chatting to me about it, and it was it was fascinating.
- 52:30SPEAKER_02: Then I'm like, wow, let's have a look at the masks.
- 52:32SPEAKER_02: They were showing me the masks.
- 52:33SPEAKER_02: They're good quality, aren't they?
- 52:34SPEAKER_02: Because they were like having they were having a fag, so they obviously weren't being the dog then.
- 52:38SPEAKER_02: They were on a break.
- 52:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 52:39SPEAKER_02: Um and just chanting to them about it, and it was fascinating to me seeing the mask, seeing how it all works, like, well, how do you because they could lift the nose up, they really need to drink and things.
- 52:48SPEAKER_02: It's brilliant.
- 52:49SPEAKER_02: And then they had the ears, they had the butt plug with the tail, and then they showed me they had a pig dog tail as well, which I found bizarre.
- 52:54SPEAKER_02: But then they put it all back on and went off, finished their break and went off back in.
- 53:00SPEAKER_00: Siggy out, back at the dog.
- 53:01SPEAKER_02: And I was like, ah, that's amazing.
- 53:03SPEAKER_00: It's great, isn't it?
- 53:04SPEAKER_00: It's great, but how great is it that there's venues like that out there where you're gonna get all creatures great and small, quite literally, at some events, and you're seeing all these different people, and you just ghost these things with open minds and not like oh, this is a bit weird.
- 53:20SPEAKER_00: Just go, I've not seen this before.
- 53:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, and learn it.
- 53:25SPEAKER_00: Listen to people, talk to people, watch, take it all in, and you find God, your world opens up so much more when you just soak it all up rather than go and judge it all, doesn't it?
- 53:35SPEAKER_02: Well, I mean you stand sitting there being blinker judging and calling everyone weirdos from the safe.
- 53:39SPEAKER_00: It doesn't have to be something that you want to do.
- 53:41SPEAKER_00: No, it's just just yeah, stay open-minded.
- 53:44SPEAKER_00: There's a pub pride, you know.
- 53:46SPEAKER_02: Is there?
- 53:47SPEAKER_00: And they've got a pub flag as well, the big porn up Minecraft.
- 53:51SPEAKER_00: Well, they have to do have things like the competitions and stuff.
- 53:54SPEAKER_00: Um, but one of the winners came to the club years ago, wearing his medal.
- 53:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was really good.
- 53:59SPEAKER_00: Pop pride.
- 54:00SPEAKER_00: So there you go.
- 54:00SPEAKER_00: Hope that's helped.
- 54:02SPEAKER_00: Um, not just the lady wrote in, but everybody else as well.
- 54:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, actually, forgot a lady wrote in it.
- 54:06SPEAKER_00: Interesting subject, I think.
- 54:07SPEAKER_00: And uh oh, it's one of those kinks that I think is accessible.
- 54:11SPEAKER_00: I know it's hard to understand it sometimes, but it's fun, it's accessible, doesn't necessarily involve pain and all that.
- 54:17SPEAKER_00: It's just people having fun.
- 54:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so it's a bit more mainstream for just BDSM's mainstream.
- 54:23SPEAKER_00: So, right, before we go, I've got a little fetish factory.
- 54:28SPEAKER_03: Oh, go on.
- 54:29SPEAKER_00: It's not really a kink, it's just something that I want to talk about very, very quickly.
- 54:33SPEAKER_00: Off the back of porn that I was watching, of course.
- 54:35SPEAKER_00: I was watching porn again.
- 54:36SPEAKER_00: Always watching porn.
- 54:37SPEAKER_02: Do you own hamster is always hamster or the hub your favourite?
- 54:40SPEAKER_00: Exho um porn hub, only because ex hamster sometimes go ex hamster for this.
- 54:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 54:46SPEAKER_00: For weird stuff.
- 54:47SPEAKER_00: Pornhub for regular roll-in-the-mill stuff, ex hamster for something's a bit more quirky.
- 54:51SPEAKER_02: See, I don't know my porn hub.
- 54:53SPEAKER_00: Don't you?
- 54:54SPEAKER_02: No.
- 54:54SPEAKER_02: I find porn hubs like Instagram for porn and it is a bit, yeah.
- 54:58SPEAKER_00: It's a bit more rain mainstream and it.
- 55:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and it bugs me.
- 55:01SPEAKER_02: Do you all look the same?
- 55:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they do.
- 55:02SPEAKER_00: I mean if you if you want to put uh get anything unusual on there, you need to put like an amateur on or something like that.
- 55:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 55:08SPEAKER_00: And otherwise it's just the same.
- 55:09SPEAKER_02: But even then, it's porn hub, you can't believe it.
- 55:11SPEAKER_00: No, exactly.
- 55:12SPEAKER_00: AI.
- 55:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 55:14SPEAKER_00: Right then, so do you know?
- 55:17SPEAKER_00: The Muffin Man.
- 55:19SPEAKER_00: What macrogenitalism is Macrogenitalism.
- 55:24SPEAKER_02: Not micro.
- 55:26SPEAKER_00: Macro.
- 55:28SPEAKER_02: It's extreme close-up.
- 55:29SPEAKER_00: No.
- 55:30SPEAKER_02: There isn't a picture, isn't it?
- 55:33SPEAKER_02: Macrogenitalism.
- 55:37SPEAKER_02: Nah.
- 55:37SPEAKER_02: And the genital balls.
- 55:40SPEAKER_00: Huge genitals, basically.
- 55:42SPEAKER_00: Huge.
- 55:42SPEAKER_00: Huge.
- 55:44SPEAKER_00: So this came off the back of a porno that I was watching, and I was out of interest, you know, because I do a lot of research for this thing.
- 55:51SPEAKER_02: I just winced thinking of something I seen that's not there.
- 55:54SPEAKER_02: Like, no, let you finish.
- 55:55SPEAKER_00: Okay, keep it thought then.
- 55:57SPEAKER_00: I was actually researching something else, and this guy came up on this porno with I can't I can only describe it.
- 56:04SPEAKER_00: It looks like an amputated stump.
- 56:08SPEAKER_00: You know, when somebody's had I can't even say an elbow, it was bigger, it was like a knee.
- 56:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 56:14SPEAKER_00: And um it obviously had skin which moved, but you couldn't quite see the tip of the penis, just like one big torpedo, like that.
- 56:22SPEAKER_00: And it must have been I don't know, about that big in circumference at the base.
- 56:28SPEAKER_00: And the tip didn't chamfer off that much, it probably went to about that, and it was probably about that long, but because it was so big and there's lots of skin, as he was trying to move it, he wasn't getting an awful lot in.
- 56:43SPEAKER_00: So I was like that to stop expanding like that.
- 56:48SPEAKER_00: So the girl was making all the uh uh uh noises, but she wasn't really getting out and from it because he couldn't get it in.
- 56:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it wasn't he couldn't handle it enough, he couldn't control it.
- 56:56SPEAKER_00: It was just so wide, and the skin, there's so much skin, he couldn't really do much with it.
- 57:02SPEAKER_00: The whole fucking shag, he was forever battling with his penis, he was battling with all the skin on his penis, trying to shove it in that he'd get it in a tiny little bit just the tip and it'd all fall out again.
- 57:12SPEAKER_02: Trying to put a sleeping bag back in the sack when you put it away.
- 57:15SPEAKER_00: Exactly that.
- 57:16SPEAKER_00: It was the most unsatisfying porno ever, and it was also frustrating for the guy.
- 57:22SPEAKER_00: So it made me think then so it's not that common, but uh there are guys out there, they've got some of them have got conditions which has caused the macrogyzalism.
- 57:32SPEAKER_00: Some guys have just got really, really big penises.
- 57:35SPEAKER_00: Some of God, I've seen some.
- 57:37SPEAKER_00: So there's one that comes up quite a lot.
- 57:38SPEAKER_00: Uh Jonah Falcon, he's claimed, publicly claimed, that his penis is 13.5 inches erect and eight inches flaccid.
- 57:46SPEAKER_00: There's another guy apparently that Nancy brought up in well, FSO buzzy one.
- 57:50SPEAKER_00: Um this other guy said it's his is bigger, but they reckon that he's had procedures or like he's had had things hanging off it to lengthen it.
- 57:58SPEAKER_00: Do you know what size the average penis is?
- 58:02SPEAKER_02: It's different by country, isn't it?
- 58:04SPEAKER_00: It is.
- 58:05SPEAKER_00: It is.
- 58:06SPEAKER_00: But okay, I would say um let's say the white western world.
- 58:14SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna say black cock because we know black cocks tend to be pretty enormous.
- 58:20SPEAKER_00: Well, I do.
- 58:22SPEAKER_02: Is this a good thing?
- 58:24SPEAKER_02: Just because I want to place myself as above average.
- 58:29SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna say it's about five to six.
- 58:32SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 58:34SPEAKER_00: So I thought it was a bit bigger.
- 58:36SPEAKER_00: The average is five to five and a half.
- 58:39SPEAKER_00: Large is class of six and a half to seven.
- 58:41SPEAKER_02: So I swap.
- 58:42SPEAKER_00: So there you go.
- 58:43SPEAKER_00: Real and now seven and a half to eight.
- 58:46SPEAKER_02: Got a ruler.
- 58:49SPEAKER_00: I have actually a school ruler.
- 58:52SPEAKER_01: No, yeah, we you would have, wouldn't you?
- 58:55SPEAKER_00: Extremely large and rare, nine inches and above.
- 58:59SPEAKER_00: I've actually seen penises that have been that big, and they have been black guys a lot of the time, but there was one guy in the club years ago who used to have a very large penis, like a baby's arm.
- 59:10SPEAKER_00: Anyway, the world's longest penis is 13.5 inches, like I said before.
- 59:16SPEAKER_00: I was trying to find the widest girth.
- 59:19SPEAKER_00: Now that's hard, it's really, really hard to um to come by to measure or whatever.
- 59:26SPEAKER_02: Keep digging.
- 59:27SPEAKER_02: The girth part.
- 59:28SPEAKER_02: The girth card.
- 59:31SPEAKER_00: But there's some guy called Roberto uh Cabrera, and he reckons he's got the girthiest cock.
- 59:37SPEAKER_00: Um, and he says it measures over 18 inches in length, he reckons.
- 59:43SPEAKER_00: Um, but he does say that he's tried to stretch his penis, but you can't stretch it that way, but it is girthy and very, very, very girthy as well.
- 59:54SPEAKER_00: The guy that I saw was I don't know, he was just huge.
- 59:58SPEAKER_00: So he's got to be in the record books, this guy.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_00: It was real.
- 1:00:01SPEAKER_00: It was definitely real.
- 1:00:02SPEAKER_00: He was if it was AI, the AI wouldn't have him fiddling round with it.
- 1:00:06SPEAKER_00: No, you know, struggling with it, but he was.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_00: So I looked into the problems, obviously, mobility issues.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_00: Imagine having this massive wide cock.
- 1:00:16SPEAKER_00: You'd have to wear a skirt, wouldn't you?
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_00: You have to wear like a kilsaw or something.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_02: Did you see a programme years ago about a fellow with a massive normal girthy knob?
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_02: And he had to wear joggers with an extra low waist, or he'd have to get wide leg joggers and put it all in one leg.
- 1:00:32unknown: Fuck.
- 1:00:33SPEAKER_00: You don't think about things like that, do you?
- 1:00:35SPEAKER_00: It's like people that want big boobs.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:00:37SPEAKER_00: You know, and I get it, I totally get it.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_00: But you speak to people with a massive jug, because they're like, that's the worst thing in the world, the backache, the price of the bras.
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_02: You know, and then making most people that have naturally got massive tits want a reduction.
- 1:00:47SPEAKER_00: Of course they do, of course.
- 1:00:49SPEAKER_00: You've making your top look nice and that because you've got huge boobs, a tiny little waist, it's difficult.
- 1:00:53SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, frequent infections as well with these massive penis because you can't clean it properly.
- 1:00:59SPEAKER_00: Difficulty obtaining a job.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_00: Because you it's on show.
- 1:01:05SPEAKER_02: Couldn't it actually be like a waiter, could you?
- 1:01:07SPEAKER_00: Or no, so you do so your job options are limited.
- 1:01:10SPEAKER_00: I didn't think about that.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_00: And significant medical complications, not just infection, but all sorts of things.
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_00: So, like if you think about words lying on the balls, it'd be lying on your legs as well.
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_00: So you can get like abscesses and ulcers and that on ulcerated skin underneath.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_00: The actual penis itself can become ulcerated.
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_02: Well, does it need to power one of them?
- 1:01:31SPEAKER_02: Go through V.
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_02: Do you get infected because you can't we if you can't clean?
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_02: Is it only blokes?
- 1:01:36SPEAKER_00: So I looked into this.
- 1:01:38SPEAKER_00: There's something called clitoromegaly, and it's the closest equivalent, if you like, and it's enlargement of the clitoris beyond the typical range.
- 1:01:48SPEAKER_00: That can be caused by hormonal conditions, adrenal problems, elevated testosterone, some people who take testosterone purposely get this.
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_00: Certain medications and rare tumours.
- 1:01:59SPEAKER_00: Now we have seen loads of porn with big clits.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_00: There's some, I'm not sure of the hermaphrodite actually.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_00: So there's some, I'm like, it's definitely a clit, and I've seen some about that big, and probably about an inch circumference.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_00: And they're definitely clits, but then when they get a bit bigger than that, they look a bit more peen.
- 1:02:17SPEAKER_00: When you see a clit erect, it does look like a little penis, but these looked a little bit too peen.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_00: And when I saw the person, I was a bit like maybe hermaphrodite, wasn't sure, but the pawn itself isn't actually going to say, obviously, you know, what gender they are or or whatever.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_00: So I was just making an assumption, but there's definitely some that have got big clits of seeing them.
- 1:02:35SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I shouldn't have a while then.
- 1:02:37SPEAKER_00: Don't think I want more all the time.
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:02:43SPEAKER_00: And there's labial hypertrophy as well.
- 1:02:45SPEAKER_00: We've got really large labia.
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_00: Have you seen there's a culture, an American American, African culture, tribe, and the women put weights on their labia because it's attractive for the labia to fall below their short.
- 1:02:59SPEAKER_00: They wear hot pants and the the labia's on show outside as they walk around the supermarket and everything.
- 1:03:04SPEAKER_02: Hmm.
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_02: Because and yeah.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_02: Bloasters are the balls as well, don't they?
- 1:03:08SPEAKER_02: Put weights on them.
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_00: Don't think I'd want hanging flaps like that.
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_00: And I've got news for you, everybody, as you get older.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_00: The hang down anything.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_00: No.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_00: Mine still aren't that bad.
- 1:03:19SPEAKER_00: Depends how much action they've had.
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_00: Tia by the bye.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_00: So ah I'm thinking and reading about the whole large penis, large labia thing.
- 1:03:31SPEAKER_00: It sounds very inconvenient.
- 1:03:33SPEAKER_00: Medically a problem.
- 1:03:35SPEAKER_00: Not practical in the bedroom.
- 1:03:37SPEAKER_02: No.
- 1:03:37SPEAKER_00: And I don't want one.
- 1:03:38SPEAKER_02: No.
- 1:03:39SPEAKER_00: So I'm saying I want a penis for a day.
- 1:03:41SPEAKER_02: Just a standard one.
- 1:03:42SPEAKER_00: A standard one.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_00: So if I get three wishes, I am now gonna make it very clear.
- 1:03:47SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna be specific about the wish.
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_00: I'm not just gonna say I want a penis for a day because then I'll get a micro or a micro or a macro.
- 1:03:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:03:53SPEAKER_00: I want a seven and a half inch length penis with a four-inch girth, please, for the day.
- 1:04:01SPEAKER_00: I'd make sure it's a specific request.
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_02: Would you?
- 1:04:05SPEAKER_00: Because I don't want a macro now.
- 1:04:06SPEAKER_02: You may as well go full in.
- 1:04:07SPEAKER_02: Do you want it circumcised or not?
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_02: Do you want it to have the options?
- 1:04:13SPEAKER_00: I don't want my preference, really.
- 1:04:15SPEAKER_00: I'd say uncircumcised just to.
- 1:04:18SPEAKER_00: Because then I can like really have a good go cutting down the skin.
- 1:04:21SPEAKER_00: Don't want the face fells.
- 1:04:23SPEAKER_00: No, I don't.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_00: So sorry about the tongue, did you?
- 1:04:27SPEAKER_00: It wasn't good the second time round.
- 1:04:28SPEAKER_02: No, it wasn't the same.
- 1:04:30SPEAKER_02: You didn't mean it as much as I had.
- 1:04:31SPEAKER_00: I didn't.
- 1:04:32SPEAKER_00: I didn't mean it.
- 1:04:33SPEAKER_00: I can't just do it spontaneously again now.
- 1:04:35SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I don't want a big dick.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_00: Do you want a big dick?
- 1:04:38SPEAKER_00: Bigger dick.
- 1:04:39SPEAKER_02: Not not that big, man.
- 1:04:40SPEAKER_02: Bigger bigger dick.
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_00: Do all guys want a bigger dick?
- 1:04:45SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 1:04:46SPEAKER_02: Do they want a bigger one?
- 1:04:48SPEAKER_02: I don't know if they all want a big one or they had one, so I don't know.
- 1:04:51SPEAKER_02: But I'd say they do.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_02: I see some I'm quite satisfied with what I've got like.
- 1:04:57SPEAKER_00: There's some guys who got big dicks, they can't use them.
- 1:05:00SPEAKER_00: They haven't got a clue how to use them.
- 1:05:07SPEAKER_02: That women don't like it, just the tip.
- 1:05:09SPEAKER_00: Well you can't take it all.
- 1:05:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:05:10SPEAKER_00: You haven't got twelve inches in there.
- 1:05:12SPEAKER_02: They can't really enjoy what they're doing as much because it comes to the point where if it's painful for their partner that they then have to put a bit of thought into almost put like a depth gauge on the end of their car.
- 1:05:24SPEAKER_02: So they know they can't go past the blue line.
- 1:05:28SPEAKER_00: It's like when the tide goes out and there's marks on the wall.
- 1:05:30SPEAKER_02: But you'd need something.
- 1:05:31SPEAKER_02: So I think I don't know, it's it kind of I can see why it will be more of a hindrance.
- 1:05:35SPEAKER_00: Okay, so this is something that I don't really know.
- 1:05:37SPEAKER_00: Maybe I should.
- 1:05:38SPEAKER_00: Well, I really should.
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_00: Am I right in thinking that with guys most of your sensation is just around your bell end and like the top of your your foreskin?
- 1:05:47SPEAKER_02: When you pull it back, your little No, it is the most sensitive there.
- 1:05:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:05:52SPEAKER_02: Um, circumcised, right?
- 1:05:56SPEAKER_02: So my bell end can become very sensitive.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_02: When it's pulled back because it's not exposed.
- 1:06:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:06:03SPEAKER_02: So but then it's quite nice in certain situations as well.
- 1:06:07SPEAKER_02: Um but you can feel all the way down.
- 1:06:10SPEAKER_02: No, then you can get feeling, but you can feel gripping the shaft if you want.
- 1:06:16SPEAKER_02: While you're in there, I can anyway.
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_02: Maybe I'm just like super special.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_02: But you can feel the grip of the shaft.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_02: And then no one bit works independently.
- 1:06:27SPEAKER_00: So it all works together as a team to bring the splooge.
- 1:06:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:06:31SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:06:32SPEAKER_00: Because what I'm thinking, if you've got a massive penis, and only like, you know, what even if you've got a big long vagina, lady black ladies tend to have a longer vagina.
- 1:06:42SPEAKER_00: They have a tilted pelvis for that reason because black guys tend to have a larger penis.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_00: Um some people call it a badunkadunk.
- 1:06:49SPEAKER_00: So the one tips back, they have a tipped pelvis.
- 1:06:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:06:53SPEAKER_00: So it's a midwifery.
- 1:06:54SPEAKER_00: Um and they do have like a longer vagina in some cases.
- 1:07:00SPEAKER_00: So, guys who've got a really big cock, is it going to get so much in?
- 1:07:03SPEAKER_00: I thought if it's mainly like the top and like maybe the top part of the shaft, that's only getting pleasure anyway.
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_00: They're you're going to want to put the top bit in anyway.
- 1:07:11SPEAKER_00: But it'd be frustrating for the guy if you can't get it all in.
- 1:07:14SPEAKER_00: But you can hold it.
- 1:07:17SPEAKER_00: You could, but then you'd wank it in, but then no different to having a wank, would it?
- 1:07:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, just having a wank.
- 1:07:21SPEAKER_02: How's that pleasurable?
- 1:07:22SPEAKER_00: Well, it is pleasurable, but so really all the guys want big cocks, really.
- 1:07:26SPEAKER_00: After seven inches, it's a waste of time.
- 1:07:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:07:29SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 1:07:30SPEAKER_00: I should do an arse play.
- 1:07:32SPEAKER_02: There's a whole new ball game.
- 1:07:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'll have to ask Kev.
- 1:07:36SPEAKER_02: There's his take on it differently.
- 1:07:39SPEAKER_02: Does it take it different?
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_02: No.
- 1:07:41SPEAKER_00: No, we're not gonna ask that.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_00: We don't want absolute detail.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_02: Because like, is it the bigger it gets the less sensitive it becomes?
- 1:07:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, don't think of that.
- 1:07:51SPEAKER_00: I wonder if it does affect the sensitivity.
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_02: You know, like it's that big that you can't really feel anything.
- 1:07:59SPEAKER_00: That's interesting, okay.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_00: You can be anonymous, but if you're um of a male persuasion and you've got a working penis and it's big, if it's too big, does it affect the sensation?
- 1:08:11SPEAKER_00: Is it only sensitive in certain areas or are you less sensitive throughout because there's a lot there?
- 1:08:17SPEAKER_02: There's so much of it.
- 1:08:19SPEAKER_00: That's a really good point.
- 1:08:20SPEAKER_00: You come up with good points.
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_02: I'm a thinker, haven't I?
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_00: You are a thinker, you are a thinker, I'm a gabber.
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_00: You see, I I think as a gab, as you know, because you get voice notes from me all the time.
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_02: Fucking many podcasts from you, not voice notes.
- 1:08:33unknown: Fuck off!
- 1:08:35SPEAKER_00: You've only had one long one recently, which is six minutes.
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_00: That was too all.
- 1:08:41SPEAKER_00: Just put me on times two.
- 1:08:43SPEAKER_02: I do, and then they get the I put you on times two, start pottery in and then forget, and you've stopped, and they go, Oh shit, what did she say again?
- 1:08:49SPEAKER_02: I have to go back and then I've dropped my keys, press play.
- 1:08:53SPEAKER_00: Is that your car keys?
- 1:08:55SPEAKER_00: That's our cue to stop that buzz, because it's time.
- 1:08:58SPEAKER_00: Oh fucking home.
- 1:08:59SPEAKER_00: It's time to go.
- 1:09:01SPEAKER_00: Do it anything.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 1:09:05SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's funny on Kev's last episode.
- 1:09:08SPEAKER_00: I think we said something about um vaginas.
- 1:09:11SPEAKER_00: I can't remember what it was.
- 1:09:11SPEAKER_00: Now any of me just grabbed the goat and went say that he started balking.
- 1:09:16SPEAKER_00: That's so funny.
- 1:09:17SPEAKER_02: Right then, don't do it this time.
- 1:09:19SPEAKER_02: I did it last time.
- 1:09:21SPEAKER_02: Okay, I'll do it then.
- 1:09:23SPEAKER_00: Wow, wow, get you.
- 1:09:25SPEAKER_00: I thought you want to do it.
- 1:09:26SPEAKER_00: No, you've got it off bat.
- 1:09:27SPEAKER_00: No?
- 1:09:28SPEAKER_02: No, it's not really taking liberties.
- 1:09:29SPEAKER_00: Wow, okay then.
- 1:09:30SPEAKER_00: So on that macro penis bombshell, bombshell, we're gonna go.
- 1:09:36SPEAKER_00: So if you're binge watching, put the kettle on, we'll see you in five.
- 1:09:39SPEAKER_00: If not, we'll see you next week.
- 1:09:41SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 1:09:42SPEAKER_03: Bye.
