Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the almost famous podcast with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Welcome back to kind of famous on Deanna Pappas and
- 0:08Speaker 2: I am here with my producer, Heather, and we are
- 0:11Speaker 2: at the end.
- 0:13Speaker 1: I can't even believe it's here. Let's marry Harry.
- 0:15Speaker 2: I think really, what I've gathered is that Heather is
- 0:18Speaker 2: marrying Harry.
- 0:18Speaker 1: That's what it's come to. But it happened so fast.
- 0:22Speaker 1: I like, I'm sad, but.
- 0:24Speaker 2: I am really really looking forward to the reunion and
- 0:27Speaker 2: everybody you should know spoiler spoiler, spoiler spoiler, we are
- 0:31Speaker 2: going to be talking about the ending of this season.
- 0:35Speaker 2: We will be talking about it in depth. I could
- 0:37Speaker 2: skip this whole episode and get to that, Heather, but
- 0:40Speaker 2: we you know, I digress.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Yeah, we will be talking about the ending, and we're
- 0:44Speaker 3: also gonna, obviously because the finale aired just a couple
- 0:48Speaker 3: of days ago, we're also going to be talking about
- 0:51Speaker 3: some of the stuff that we've seen on the internet.
- 0:54Speaker 3: We're not gonna spoil a whole lot of things because obviously,
- 0:57Speaker 3: speak for yourself, Heather, Well, we live on the internet
- 1:00Speaker 3: probably a little bit more than the average viewer, and
- 1:02Speaker 3: we also want people to tune into the reunion. I
- 1:05Speaker 3: know I do, but there's definitely a couple of things
- 1:08Speaker 3: I want to point out that we shared and saw
- 1:10Speaker 3: on the internet, including some audio from somebody in Bachelor
- 1:14Speaker 3: Nation that will play towards the end of this episode.
- 1:16Speaker 1: But go ahead, you can kick it off with our
- 1:19Speaker 1: first one. Yeah, you know what I told you? What
- 1:21Speaker 1: did I text you a couple of nights ago.
- 1:23Speaker 2: I hate to be spoiled because if I'm going to
- 1:24Speaker 2: invest in something, I want to be able to be
- 1:26Speaker 2: able to watch it in real time. For myself, it's
- 1:28Speaker 2: either I texted you two or three nights ago. And
- 1:31Speaker 2: I was so pissed because I was scrolling at the
- 1:33Speaker 2: same time and I had to zip by real fast
- 1:35Speaker 2: because I saw a picture of the finale and I
- 1:38Speaker 2: was so pissed because up until that moment, I genuinely
- 1:41Speaker 2: did not know, and I had been trying to avoid
- 1:43Speaker 2: all things, and then I ended up seeing a photo
- 1:46Speaker 2: of the finale episode, and I was like, genuinely angry, Like,
- 1:51Speaker 2: why can't people just like tone it down a level for.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Just a minute.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I saw it before we even started recapping,
- 1:57Speaker 3: So I feel like I've kept it prety neutral on
- 2:01Speaker 3: my tellings.
- 2:02Speaker 2: You've done a great job. I think that I've grown
- 2:05Speaker 2: to love Harry. Yes, I've grown to love him.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Yeah, And I think watching this I texted you and
- 2:13Speaker 3: we'll get into it. But Harry and I have more
- 2:15Speaker 3: things in common, so I really do think that I'm
- 2:18Speaker 3: in love with Harry.
- 2:19Speaker 2: After Heather Mary Mary, that's the ending of the show.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Heather marries Harry. It's cute, though I thought it was.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Overall.
- 2:27Speaker 3: I thought it was a cute show, not too serious,
- 2:30Speaker 3: and we'll get into I guess there's a lot of
- 2:32Speaker 3: discourse on the internet now since the finale. I don't
- 2:36Speaker 3: really partake in that. And I'm also I don't think
- 2:40Speaker 3: it's that deep. I mean it is, but it's not.
- 2:42Speaker 3: You know, we're talking about a marriage at the end
- 2:46Speaker 3: of this, which you would be like, that's serious, that's serious. Somehow,
- 2:49Speaker 3: I'm not that seriously invested in the outcome. I'm kind
- 2:53Speaker 3: of like, either or is a good option to me.
- 2:57Speaker 2: I don't like drama, Like I don't like drama at
- 3:01Speaker 2: all in my normal life. So to see some of
- 3:03Speaker 2: this stuff on social media from the girls, I'm not
- 3:06Speaker 2: that invested in it. I kind of like, Okay, do
- 3:09Speaker 2: tell me more because I'm human, but I'm also just
- 3:13Speaker 2: like I don't know you, guys, I just don't. Part
- 3:18Speaker 2: of me is a very realist human being and the
- 3:21Speaker 2: other part is a delusional, hopeless romantic Like I'm like
- 3:24Speaker 2: cut in half most days, and that realistic part of
- 3:27Speaker 2: me is like girls, come on, you went on a
- 3:29Speaker 2: show that was called Let's Marry Harry. You were going
- 3:33Speaker 2: on to date Harry Jowsey. I didn't know who he was,
- 3:36Speaker 2: but like you'd take a quick dive down the Google,
- 3:39Speaker 2: and like I got into episode one and I was like,
- 3:41Speaker 2: he's still in his f boy era, you know, Like
- 3:44Speaker 2: it's just not I'm with you.
- 3:45Speaker 1: It's not that serious.
- 3:47Speaker 3: It's not And I think that the feelings could be serious,
- 3:51Speaker 3: but I don't.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I don't, I don't know.
- 3:53Speaker 3: I just I think that it's very strange, and I
- 3:57Speaker 3: think that people should really check their moral compass. If
- 4:01Speaker 3: you feel compelled to write nasty things on the Internet
- 4:05Speaker 3: about strangers that you don't even know that you've watched
- 4:09Speaker 3: for a couple episodes of a TV show, Like you're
- 4:12Speaker 3: actually the weirdo if you're doing stuff like that.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Like sorry to tell you this, but you're weird.
- 4:18Speaker 3: If you're writing nasty comments to some woman in her
- 4:22Speaker 3: early thirties who you saw go on a reality TV
- 4:25Speaker 3: dating show that you, in reality do not know.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I've never ever understood it. I did myself a solid.
- 4:32Speaker 2: You'll be pretty proud of me this time though. I
- 4:33Speaker 2: did myself a solid. I did not follow any of
- 4:36Speaker 2: the girls. I only I just followed Harry like maybe
- 4:40Speaker 2: two days ago, because I really was trying to avoid
- 4:42Speaker 2: like any attachments, you know, how attached I got to
- 4:45Speaker 2: those girls on Love Overboard. Yes, So I did myself
- 4:48Speaker 2: a solid this go around. So today I might spend
- 4:50Speaker 2: some time on social media following all of my girlfriends.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I've made sure to follow them on the
- 4:56Speaker 3: show account before the season kicked off, because I want
- 4:59Speaker 3: to to be able to see anything that might get
- 5:03Speaker 3: you know, pushed.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Out on accident. Harry. Yeah, might get Harry, might get Harry.
- 5:11Speaker 3: So I'm excited, and like we said, you know, there
- 5:15Speaker 3: is going to be a reunion, which is super fun,
- 5:18Speaker 3: I think for a show like this, especially with all
- 5:20Speaker 3: the setup setup that they're giving us, and hopefully we
- 5:23Speaker 3: get some of the girlies from the cast to come
- 5:25Speaker 3: on the pod. We'd be very excited about that. Episode seven, though,
- 5:30Speaker 3: opens with Harry having just met Sam's mom at that
- 5:35Speaker 3: kind of very uncomfortable first one on one meeting with
- 5:39Speaker 3: her where she basically was like, yeah, he's not ready
- 5:43Speaker 3: to get married and you should not invite him back
- 5:45Speaker 3: to your room tonight. And so it starts with Harry
- 5:49Speaker 3: being like, uh in literally an interview, being like, I'm
- 5:53Speaker 3: not sure how Sam's mom like feels about me.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Uh.
- 5:58Speaker 3: So Sam and him talk and she says, you know,
- 6:00Speaker 3: she's a lover girl, but it's not uncommon for her
- 6:04Speaker 3: to kind of put the rose colored glasses on, and
- 6:07Speaker 3: she really did need to listen to her mom in
- 6:10Speaker 3: this situation. And she says that she's serious about marriage,
- 6:15Speaker 3: but she only wants to do this once. Everybody's being
- 6:19Speaker 3: very serious now all of a sudden about this engagement
- 6:22Speaker 3: in this marriage. Sam then asks Harry if he's ready
- 6:26Speaker 3: to lock it in for life at the end of this,
- 6:29Speaker 3: and he says he is, and then it gets really
- 6:32Speaker 3: uncomfortable because she says, well, that's kind of like a
- 6:35Speaker 3: PC answer for the cameras.
- 6:38Speaker 1: He was very offended by that. He was very offended.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I also could have done, you know, Sam for me,
- 6:45Speaker 2: Like she's gorgeous. I've said it over and over again.
- 6:47Speaker 2: She's gorgeous. Her body is stunning, you know what I mean.
- 6:50Speaker 2: I could always see the physical chemistry between the two
- 6:52Speaker 2: of them, but I kind of was like really thrilled
- 6:55Speaker 2: with her in this episode.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Also, everybody is so healed.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Like I said this to you when we recorded the
- 7:00Speaker 2: other day, I don't think I got into like alignment
- 7:02Speaker 2: until I was well into my forties, and all of
- 7:05Speaker 2: these people are like trusting their intuition and it's speaking
- 7:08Speaker 2: to them, and I'm thinking, oh God, in my twenties,
- 7:10Speaker 2: I was so lost. I was so far off course.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I appreciate that that there. Even Harry has said it
- 7:15Speaker 2: a couple of times that he is getting in touch
- 7:17Speaker 2: with his intuition. And Sam says it here that she
- 7:19Speaker 2: should have listened to herself when the first situation happened.
- 7:23Speaker 2: I have so many thoughts on that situation with Amber,
- 7:27Speaker 2: by the way, I have so many thoughts, and I
- 7:29Speaker 2: know we're going to get there.
- 7:30Speaker 4: But like.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Harry's they he says that they they got down and
- 7:36Speaker 2: so like Sam was right.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Yeah, we we get we can jump to that now.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Okay, let's jump to it then, because I'm like dying.
- 7:43Speaker 2: I'm like busting at the seams with this episode.
- 7:46Speaker 3: So again we're talking in detail, peeps. I'm not giving
- 7:49Speaker 3: you everything that's on the internet. But we did speculate
- 7:54Speaker 3: in a previous episode if Amber and Harry actually did anything,
- 8:00Speaker 3: if him and Donnell actually did anything. And so basically,
- 8:04Speaker 3: there is a video out there of Harry responding to
- 8:08Speaker 3: a fan question and they asked him if it was
- 8:12Speaker 3: coincidental that he had sex with the final two women.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Now, obviously we're talking about Sam.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Guys, we're gonna get to it, but we kind of
- 8:23Speaker 3: pretty much said that Sam's you know, writing was on
- 8:25Speaker 3: the wall and she wasn't gonna be final two. So
- 8:28Speaker 3: the final two ends up being Donnell and Amber, and
- 8:33Speaker 3: Harry clear as day answers to the camera and says
- 8:38Speaker 3: that when he and Dinell were in the closet, all
- 8:43Speaker 3: they were doing was kissing.
- 8:45Speaker 1: He says, plain as day.
- 8:48Speaker 3: I have no idea where that audio came from that
- 8:52Speaker 3: was playing in that scene. I don't even know who's
- 8:54Speaker 3: in that audio that is playing, but it sure as
- 8:58Speaker 3: hell wasn't up us. And then I.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Can't remember does he say he had sex with Amber?
- 9:05Speaker 2: He says it later on in this episode, he.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Says it to Alex Cooper.
- 9:11Speaker 2: He straight up says, well, set he leaves because she
- 9:15Speaker 2: kind of caught me in the moment that I had
- 9:17Speaker 2: sex with Amber. And I thought this this bit had
- 9:20Speaker 2: to have been filmed way later, because remember how hardcore
- 9:23Speaker 2: he was like sticking to Amber and she asked him
- 9:26Speaker 2: not to say anything, so he wasn't he was keeping
- 9:28Speaker 2: the secret for her, And then we see later on.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I actually have my own theories here.
- 9:34Speaker 2: I think that scene with Alex Cooper is filmed way later,
- 9:37Speaker 2: because he straight up tells her that he had sex
- 9:41Speaker 2: with Amber that night when that shower was running, and
- 9:43Speaker 2: that Sam caught them.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Yeah, he does. He says that, okay, well we'll get
- 9:49Speaker 3: into it. Let's let's rewind and go back to Sam
- 9:51Speaker 3: for right now. So she calls him out for that
- 9:54Speaker 3: PC answer, and like we said, he immediately personality, he's like,
- 10:01Speaker 3: he's like, that's kind of mean to say to me,
- 10:04Speaker 3: and she's like, well, well, and then she tries to
- 10:06Speaker 3: like kind of backpedal on it, and it's like, no,
- 10:10Speaker 3: you just literally said that he was giving you, like
- 10:15Speaker 3: giving you face, like not you know, giving you straight feelings.
- 10:20Speaker 3: And emotion, and then she says to him that she
- 10:23Speaker 3: doesn't want to get physical tonight, so she's not going
- 10:26Speaker 3: to be bringing him back to her room, and he
- 10:29Speaker 3: literally gets up and says good seeing you and walks away.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Does it hug her?
- 10:37Speaker 4: For me?
- 10:38Speaker 2: Screams that toxic behavior that he addressed in earlier episodes.
- 10:43Speaker 2: This is toxic behavior of a grown boy who got
- 10:48Speaker 2: shut down and didn't get what he wanted, so he
- 10:53Speaker 2: then started becoming you know, dismissive, avoidant, all of those things.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Cold. Yeah, to a woman.
- 11:03Speaker 2: He has brought this far, and he says, good seeing you.
- 11:07Speaker 2: So had she responded the way that he wanted and
- 11:10Speaker 2: took him home and gotten down, which is what he
- 11:14Speaker 2: really wanted, would he have been nicer to her?
- 11:17Speaker 1: Was it that kind of a reward system? This was
- 11:20Speaker 1: an ick for me? It was an ick.
- 11:22Speaker 3: I really didn't like this Harry, and I think what
- 11:26Speaker 3: we see later is that he kind of regrets this
- 11:28Speaker 3: interaction too. We're obviously going to have to see how
- 11:31Speaker 3: this plays out at the reunion, because this is it
- 11:33Speaker 3: for them. She actually the next morning says, yeah, I'm done.
- 11:38Speaker 3: That was an answer enough for me. She leaves her
- 11:41Speaker 3: ring and she leaves the hotel and then a producer
- 11:44Speaker 3: has to go and tell Harry that she's decided to leave.
- 11:47Speaker 1: I was all on board with this.
- 11:48Speaker 2: I was absolutely like, you go, girl, Oh go go.
- 11:52Speaker 1: One hundred percent was the right move.
- 11:55Speaker 3: I would have liked to see Harry do a little
- 11:58Speaker 3: bit more legwork of I gotta go find her. I
- 12:01Speaker 3: got to go make this right, like this is not
- 12:04Speaker 3: how I end things with this girl. But we got
- 12:07Speaker 3: to leave some things for the reunion, right. We got
- 12:09Speaker 3: to see some sort of resolution there, hopefully. But yeah,
- 12:13Speaker 3: that was like not good vibes to just literally get
- 12:17Speaker 3: up and walk out of the room after somebody says
- 12:21Speaker 3: very straightforward, you know, I don't think I'm going to
- 12:25Speaker 3: be inviting you back to my room tonight. I'm not
- 12:27Speaker 3: really interested in getting physical to be like good seeing you,
- 12:30Speaker 3: and just was like out a little.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Toddler boy who didn't get his way. That is not
- 12:35Speaker 2: the Harry that we want to marry.
- 12:37Speaker 3: No, and it could have been like he takes her
- 12:39Speaker 3: hands and says, you know, I was really looking forward
- 12:42Speaker 3: to spending the night with you tonight. But I totally
- 12:44Speaker 3: respect your decision and hopefully we can talk about this tomorrow,
- 12:48Speaker 3: you know, with fresh eyes.
- 12:51Speaker 2: But is that assuming too much because that's how we
- 12:53Speaker 2: expect a healthy adult male to respond in that moment.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I don't know, you know.
- 13:00Speaker 3: I also don't want to deny the fact that what
- 13:04Speaker 3: she said right before that hurt his feelings, is saying
- 13:09Speaker 3: that he's putting it on for the camera, because then
- 13:12Speaker 3: he went and did something that was completely not PC
- 13:15Speaker 3: right after she called him out for being PC, and
- 13:17Speaker 3: then he went and did something pretty sh.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Not for the cameras, you know, that made him look bad.
- 13:23Speaker 3: So I can understand why he was upset in that moment,
- 13:28Speaker 3: but I think he would agree to that he didn't
- 13:31Speaker 3: handle it right, and he seemed pretty surprised when they
- 13:33Speaker 3: go to his room the next day to tell him,
- 13:35Speaker 3: you know, she left.
- 13:38Speaker 1: So then then the next.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Day is when he goes to have coffee. Like you
- 13:49Speaker 3: said with Alex Cooper, you know, I wasn't really tapping
- 13:53Speaker 3: into when this could have been filmed like you were,
- 13:57Speaker 3: but I think that probably your intuition is correct that
- 14:01Speaker 3: this was filmed later.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I'm just glad that I have an intuition now like
- 14:04Speaker 1: the rest of these girls.
- 14:06Speaker 3: It's great because the thing that I'll point out is
- 14:09Speaker 3: that Alex is sitting for the entire scene.
- 14:12Speaker 1: She never gets up to greet Harry.
- 14:14Speaker 3: And we all know now because it's public knowledge that
- 14:17Speaker 3: Alex is pregnant, So if she was showing at the time,
- 14:22Speaker 3: that would be no reason why she needed to be
- 14:24Speaker 3: seated the entire scene.
- 14:25Speaker 2: I was I was trying very hard to look. I
- 14:28Speaker 2: was trying very hard.
- 14:29Speaker 3: I was trying to look at what La La Land
- 14:30Speaker 3: location they were at. I thought maybe it was the
- 14:33Speaker 3: one by my house, but it's not. I actually rewound
- 14:36Speaker 3: to see what the street sign said outside, and I
- 14:38Speaker 3: was like, is that the one by me?
- 14:40Speaker 1: No, it wasn't. It wasn't.
- 14:42Speaker 3: But then there were locations by my house later in
- 14:45Speaker 3: the episode, and I was like, it's.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Just you're supposed to marry Harry. It's in the it's
- 14:49Speaker 2: in the stars.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Maybe I'm not supposed to marry him because I think
- 14:53Speaker 3: he's too young for me. But maybe our pets are
- 14:57Speaker 3: supposed to be friends. Maybe we're supposed to meet at
- 14:59Speaker 3: the dog park or something at some point.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I don't known. We'll we'll, we'll get into that.
- 15:04Speaker 3: But basically, he confesses to Alex, like you said that
- 15:10Speaker 3: he had sex with Amber, that Sam kind of caught
- 15:14Speaker 3: onto it, and that he straight up, you know, lied
- 15:16Speaker 3: because he felt like he was between a rock and
- 15:18Speaker 3: a hard place. Amber told him not to tell and
- 15:21Speaker 3: Sam was asking him to tell the truth, so he
- 15:23Speaker 3: didn't know what to do. And you know, Alex kind
- 15:27Speaker 3: of gives him some tough love and says that he
- 15:31Speaker 3: should have been honest because you know, she says like,
- 15:36Speaker 3: you should have been honest because this girl's gonna find
- 15:40Speaker 3: out eventually.
- 15:42Speaker 2: It's similar to what you and I discussed in the
- 15:43Speaker 2: last podcast episode, is like, the fact is you're on
- 15:46Speaker 2: reality TV. At first, I was like, yeah, I get it.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Protect Amber, you know, ever keep your keep your relationships different.
- 15:53Speaker 2: But you and I talked about this at length, and
- 15:56Speaker 2: Alex Cooper does the same thing. You're filming a television show.
- 16:02Speaker 2: She's going to find out one way or the other.
- 16:04Speaker 2: And why not at least say something And you said
- 16:09Speaker 2: this in our last episode. Why not at least say
- 16:11Speaker 2: something like, Hey, I want to be able to keep
- 16:14Speaker 2: my relationship separate. What happened with Amber is private. What
- 16:18Speaker 2: happens with you, I respect you, and it's private. Why
- 16:20Speaker 2: not at least say that versus just lie about it,
- 16:23Speaker 2: because now I am like.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Ooh, goody, goody goody. We get to see him address this,
- 16:29Speaker 1: hopefully at the reunion. Oh, he's definitely going to have
- 16:33Speaker 1: to address it.
- 16:34Speaker 3: I don't think a girly like Sam is going to
- 16:36Speaker 3: let him off the hook without being like, you lied
- 16:40Speaker 3: to my face this time, this time, this time, like
- 16:42Speaker 3: I gave you ample opportunities to tell the truth.
- 16:46Speaker 2: I saw on social media, by the way, and she
- 16:47Speaker 2: chopped all of her hair off and she died it.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 16:50Speaker 3: I looked at her socials too, and I was trying
- 16:52Speaker 3: to decipher when this was filmed by looking at her
- 16:56Speaker 3: hair color. Yeah, yeah, me too, because she's got much
- 17:00Speaker 3: lighter hair now, much lighter.
- 17:01Speaker 2: She definitely put some blonde in it, and she cut
- 17:03Speaker 2: it all off, like she had that long, beautiful brown hair,
- 17:06Speaker 2: and she cut it all off and she's so long.
- 17:09Speaker 2: I know, did the same thing. We've got issues, Heather.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Well.
- 17:14Speaker 3: The next day, Harry is flying back to New Zealand
- 17:17Speaker 3: with his final two women, which are Danelle and Amber,
- 17:20Speaker 3: and they're going to meet his family.
- 17:22Speaker 1: And this is a big deal because this.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Is the first time Harry has gone home since his
- 17:26Speaker 3: dad passed away and so this is going to be
- 17:29Speaker 3: really difficult for him. I felt like when I watched
- 17:33Speaker 3: this them going to New Zealand, I was like, oh,
- 17:36Speaker 3: this is where the budget for the show is.
- 17:39Speaker 1: These New Zealand shots.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't tell you, though, there were some production
- 17:44Speaker 3: decisions when we get to New Zealand and on the
- 17:46Speaker 3: way there that I was like, why are we doing this?
- 17:49Speaker 3: So first of all, it gave it gave me the ick,
- 17:54Speaker 3: the slow swipe fade transition on the screen.
- 17:58Speaker 2: It was like somebody's first day on the job. And
- 18:00Speaker 2: they were like, watch this cool trick I learned when
- 18:02Speaker 2: I graduated.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Thank you?
- 18:03Speaker 3: Was it not like watching some sort of high school
- 18:08Speaker 3: graduation video that your grandma made to show.
- 18:11Speaker 2: It me of editing a video that I put onto
- 18:15Speaker 2: my Instagram that I think all the cool kids are
- 18:17Speaker 2: trying this, Let me try it.
- 18:19Speaker 1: And then being like what what that didn't work?
- 18:22Speaker 3: What? Who? Was like, I know the transition for this
- 18:25Speaker 3: scene slow dribble, swipe down like diagonal. I was like,
- 18:31Speaker 3: clearly then a lot of stuff was also filmed with
- 18:33Speaker 3: cell phones.
- 18:34Speaker 1: The plane shots were all filmed with cell phones.
- 18:38Speaker 3: The airport shots are always usually filmed with cell phones
- 18:41Speaker 3: on shows, but just that was cheesy.
- 18:45Speaker 1: And then we get.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Into Harry's first solo shots at his family's house, and
- 18:51Speaker 3: I thought I was drunk when I was watching the
- 18:54Speaker 3: screen because of the weird fish eye yeah, trippy lets
- 19:00Speaker 3: lends that they put on the solo shots, And I'm like,
- 19:03Speaker 3: why'd you do this? Why did you do this? Out
- 19:06Speaker 3: We're on the final episodes? Why are you making weird
- 19:11Speaker 3: choices now? In terms of how.
- 19:13Speaker 2: It looks, don't you think they probably went to New
- 19:16Speaker 2: Zealand and hired local crew and maybe the local crew
- 19:19Speaker 2: just did not know to save money, I know The
- 19:22Speaker 2: Bachelor does that. They take some of their like tradition, make.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Your core people.
- 19:26Speaker 3: But that's but that's an editing in post decision. That's
- 19:31Speaker 3: not like a weird lens. That's like on the camera.
- 19:35Speaker 3: That's like a post decision. And also like I think
- 19:40Speaker 3: you're sending the camera guy. You're not sending craft service.
- 19:43Speaker 3: You're hiring local craft service and local pas.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Maybe, but that was weird. It was a weird like look.
- 19:53Speaker 3: And I also want to say that when they're back
- 19:55Speaker 3: for the final episode, I think that they're still doing it.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 19:59Speaker 3: So it's def definitely not a local crew thing. It
- 20:01Speaker 3: was like a choice and it was just like a
- 20:03Speaker 3: bad choice.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, were in New Zealand. Harry is feeling
- 20:18Speaker 2: lots of emotions. I like emotional Harry. I don't feel
- 20:23Speaker 2: like we got enough of emotional Harry this season a lot. Yeah,
- 20:28Speaker 2: but we can start of it in New Zealand when
- 20:30Speaker 2: he's with his family and I'm really here for it.
- 20:32Speaker 2: It makes him seem human, which is what I really like.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Harry's with his family, tells them about the final two women.
- 20:42Speaker 2: He says that he's more silly with Amber and that
- 20:44Speaker 2: with Danelle he wants to be a better guy, you
- 20:47Speaker 2: know what I mean. So Amber comes and she meets
- 20:51Speaker 2: the family. I love, like the whole family is. They
- 20:56Speaker 2: are his sisters, their husbands, the nieces and nephews. Like
- 20:59Speaker 2: it made me want to like go to New Zealand,
- 21:03Speaker 2: move there, live on a farm on a cliff, and
- 21:06Speaker 2: be like part of Harry's family.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Super beautiful, very very green, everything very green, so green
- 21:13Speaker 3: in the scenes.
- 21:14Speaker 1: I've been really.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Preland one time, and it was when I was filming
- 21:17Speaker 2: something for the Bachelor, and I remember thinking when the
- 21:20Speaker 2: plan was landing I thought we were just landing in
- 21:23Speaker 2: a field because everything was so green and there were
- 21:25Speaker 2: sheep and everything, and then you know, obviously runway. But
- 21:27Speaker 2: I remember falling in love with New Zealand I thought
- 21:29Speaker 2: it was so great. Anyway, Harry jokingly asks if his
- 21:35Speaker 2: sisters are going if they're nervous as they are meeting Amber,
- 21:39Speaker 2: and Amber says that she's more excited than nervous. She
- 21:43Speaker 2: doesn't strike me as a person who has seemed nervous
- 21:46Speaker 2: at all during this season. Like I thought, okay, cool girl,
- 21:50Speaker 2: I would have been nervous meeting someone's family, Like, even
- 21:53Speaker 2: without cameras around, or from my experience with cameras around,
- 21:57Speaker 2: I was nervous. There is a piece of you that
- 21:59Speaker 2: you human and you want people to like you.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Yeah, she's been pretty cool as a cucumber girl this
- 22:06Speaker 3: entire thing, And like you kind of said previously, she
- 22:10Speaker 3: doesn't seem to really be super buddy buddy with anybody.
- 22:14Speaker 3: But again, I think that's pretty typical that these shows
- 22:19Speaker 3: don't show the strong connections between the people who end
- 22:22Speaker 3: up being the finals and other cast members. So who's
- 22:28Speaker 3: to say if she was having a really strong connection
- 22:31Speaker 3: with Danelle or anybody else that she was filming with.
- 22:35Speaker 3: But yeah, she's definitely expressing that she's like pretty relaxed
- 22:40Speaker 3: throughout this whole thing, and she's never been, you know,
- 22:43Speaker 3: really stressed, and she's been pretty confident the entire time
- 22:46Speaker 3: in their connection.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Yeah, well, she seems very relaxed, especially even when Harry's
- 22:53Speaker 2: family they ask her about her previous marriage, she talks
- 22:56Speaker 2: about it. She talks about her decision to leave the
- 22:59Speaker 2: morm Von. Sure she wanted to be more of her
- 23:02Speaker 2: free spirited self, And I do think I didn't know
- 23:04Speaker 2: her before obviously, but I think she fits this free
- 23:07Speaker 2: spirited self vibe that she's got going on.
- 23:10Speaker 1: But also, this is a moment.
- 23:12Speaker 2: We've heard her talk about her divorce and stuff like
- 23:16Speaker 2: that before, but we really see her go into some
- 23:18Speaker 2: vulnerability here and talk about her decision to leave that
- 23:22Speaker 2: marriage and to leave the church in order to be
- 23:24Speaker 2: closer to her true self.
- 23:26Speaker 3: It sounds like for her it was the religion aspect
- 23:31Speaker 3: was a deciding factor in why she chose to divorce,
- 23:34Speaker 3: which was interesting to hear. Well.
- 23:37Speaker 2: I thought it was also really cool that she said
- 23:39Speaker 2: too that she knew it wasn't for her and she
- 23:42Speaker 2: almost in a sense set him free.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Said, you know, she wanted him to find somebody that
- 23:48Speaker 3: was more aligned with him, right.
- 23:50Speaker 1: That there's stuff aligned.
- 23:52Speaker 2: I found that very mature of her, because you know,
- 23:55Speaker 2: someone who comes from divorce, right, it's slippery slope to
- 23:58Speaker 2: point your finger at the other person and pinpoint everything
- 24:01Speaker 2: that they did wrong. And she didn't do that in
- 24:02Speaker 2: this scenario, and I think that speaks wonders to her
- 24:07Speaker 2: and her personality and who she is.
- 24:09Speaker 1: But anyway, Amber is.
- 24:12Speaker 2: I get the vibe that like her sister's the niece,
- 24:15Speaker 2: the older niece, I don't remember her name, Harry's niece,
- 24:18Speaker 2: they seem to really like Amber.
- 24:20Speaker 1: I can also tell.
- 24:21Speaker 2: That they're all into their horoscope signs. They're asking each
- 24:26Speaker 2: other the water signs and stuff, so they're really vibing
- 24:29Speaker 2: all of that. Amber tells them that she likes Harry's
- 24:33Speaker 2: adventurous spirit, that she's been very relaxed this whole experience,
- 24:37Speaker 2: And that's what I got as a viewer.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I would agree with that.
- 24:43Speaker 4: I love.
- 24:44Speaker 2: We go into Harry and Amber's date, and this just
- 24:47Speaker 2: filled my heart. Whether it is such bachelor vibes like
- 24:52Speaker 2: all across their bard, it made.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Me so happy we go.
- 24:55Speaker 2: The sun is beautiful, the weather, and they're gonna get
- 24:58Speaker 2: into a helicopter and take a tour of New Zealand.
- 25:01Speaker 2: I was like, Oh, I'm right at home.
- 25:03Speaker 1: I'm right at home here exactly. Yeah.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Amber says that we're so lucky that we get to
- 25:10Speaker 2: fall in love.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Like this, and they kiss.
- 25:13Speaker 2: I can't say it now without you, like you're in
- 25:16Speaker 2: my head at all times, Heather.
- 25:18Speaker 3: That was actually like a really cute moment because I
- 25:21Speaker 3: felt like his reaction to her saying that he was
- 25:24Speaker 3: like all like he was genuinely he was genuinely excited
- 25:28Speaker 3: that she said that, because she has been cool as
- 25:32Speaker 3: a cucumber girl and he's kind of been like egging
- 25:37Speaker 3: her on to kind of just like, you know, you
- 25:40Speaker 3: can be affectionate, you can open up to me, because
- 25:43Speaker 3: he has been you know. So this is where we
- 25:46Speaker 3: start to see glimmers of her showing that side of herself,
- 25:50Speaker 3: because remember we've already heard from Danelle that she's falling
- 25:54Speaker 3: in love with him, you know, and kind of Amber's
- 25:58Speaker 3: only given him like I like you up until this point.
- 26:02Speaker 3: So this was kind of a big deal, I think
- 26:05Speaker 3: for him. And then yeah, they see a rainbow, which
- 26:08Speaker 3: is like the most picturesque thing ever. And they're in
- 26:14Speaker 3: this helicopter there's a rainbow. She's from the rainbow state
- 26:18Speaker 3: of Hawaii, she says that.
- 26:21Speaker 2: And he is so he is so not from the
- 26:23Speaker 2: United States in that moment, He's like, what do you mean,
- 26:25Speaker 2: and she was like, well, Hawaii, duh, it's it's a
- 26:28Speaker 2: rainbow state.
- 26:29Speaker 1: And he's like, oh, cool, cool, cool.
- 26:30Speaker 3: But also like they're both into signs, right, So she
- 26:33Speaker 3: says that that's her sign and he's been saying the
- 26:37Speaker 3: thing about the bee was his sign. So it's a
- 26:40Speaker 3: really cute moment. They land, they go to a beach
- 26:45Speaker 3: and they basically like, you know, talk some more about
- 26:49Speaker 3: this and the signs, and Harry says he's falling in
- 26:54Speaker 3: love with her, and Amber says it back, so very sweet,
- 27:00Speaker 3: very very sweet, very sweet little moment between them.
- 27:03Speaker 2: I have to know, if you notice how he like
- 27:06Speaker 2: holds the girls like babies.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Have you noticed that?
- 27:10Speaker 5: No?
- 27:10Speaker 2: But that sounds always sitting in his lap and he's
- 27:13Speaker 2: like holding them.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Like a baby, you know what I mean?
- 27:15Speaker 2: Like I when I look at it, maybe I'm just
- 27:17Speaker 2: an old mom, Like I think of when I hold
- 27:19Speaker 2: my children like they're like sitting straddled, like across horizontally
- 27:24Speaker 2: across my lap, and he holds the girls like that.
- 27:26Speaker 2: It happens more in this episode and even in the end,
- 27:29Speaker 2: but I've noticed it over and over again. I'm like,
- 27:31Speaker 2: I don't know, why doesn't she at least just like
- 27:33Speaker 2: straddle him or like sit.
- 27:34Speaker 1: On one knee. Why is he holding them all like
- 27:37Speaker 1: little babies. I'd like Harry to hold me like a
- 27:40Speaker 1: little baby. Yeah you would, Yeah you would. That sounds cute.
- 27:45Speaker 3: I didn't really pick up on that, but I will
- 27:48Speaker 3: look next time. The next day, Danelle is there to
- 27:52Speaker 3: meet Harry's family. He goes to pick her up to
- 27:54Speaker 3: drive her there, and she's like saying to him as
- 27:59Speaker 3: he's driving, She's like, there's something I need to tell you,
- 28:02Speaker 3: and I'd rather tell you now than you know, in
- 28:05Speaker 3: front of your family. And he's like, he's, you know, driving,
- 28:09Speaker 3: and he hits the brakes and he's like like, what
- 28:12Speaker 3: is it? And she says, you know, I'm in love
- 28:14Speaker 3: with you and he's like, oh my gosh, me too.
- 28:19Speaker 1: An std oh you're not pregnant, he.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Says, me too, And he says it back to her
- 28:27Speaker 3: and obviously this brings me to this is such a
- 28:31Speaker 3: bachelor moment right our own, our very own Ben Higgins
- 28:35Speaker 3: was the first bachelor to say that he was in
- 28:38Speaker 3: love with his two finalists, you know, so you know,
- 28:42Speaker 3: I thought that was like, that was really sweet. And
- 28:45Speaker 3: he looked again genuinely like pleased with that moment and
- 28:51Speaker 3: that comment, and he thought that was so sweet that
- 28:54Speaker 3: she told him, because she's like, I have a feeling
- 28:56Speaker 3: it's going to come up with your family, so which
- 28:59Speaker 3: I was like, that's so aggressive, Like I would never
- 29:03Speaker 3: I would actually be mortified if I brought somebody home
- 29:06Speaker 3: for the first time and then my family was like,
- 29:08Speaker 3: so do you love do you love her? Like I'm mortified, mortified.
- 29:12Speaker 3: But then I remember this is a TV show and
- 29:14Speaker 3: he's supposed to get married, so this is very different.
- 29:17Speaker 1: This is not real life. But uh, the.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Funniest part to me is when he when she meets
- 29:23Speaker 3: his family, they're talking about there being a wedding and
- 29:27Speaker 3: his sister's joke and go to Danellen, they go, are
- 29:31Speaker 3: you gonna be there? I died.
- 29:32Speaker 2: I thought that was so funny, Like I want to
- 29:35Speaker 2: see more of the sisters.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I me laugh out loud. I me too, Heather. I
- 29:39Speaker 1: laughed so hard. She was like, wow, well, I hope.
- 29:41Speaker 3: So she was like, oh, yeah, there's a wedding and
- 29:43Speaker 3: they were like, oh yeah, are you going to be there?
- 29:45Speaker 1: And she was like, I hope. So I thought that
- 29:48Speaker 1: was so funny.
- 29:50Speaker 3: She does not know yet, so that was funny. And
- 29:53Speaker 3: then you know, they chit chat as a family. They
- 29:56Speaker 3: tell the family that they're in love, you know, with
- 29:59Speaker 3: each other, and you know, then Denell opens up about
- 30:03Speaker 3: that her parents were divorced.
- 30:04Speaker 1: When she again, I'm like, why are we hearing this?
- 30:08Speaker 2: Now We're at the very end of the season, and
- 30:10Speaker 2: we get her entire backstory.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Her entire backstory. Denell shares that her parents divorced when
- 30:16Speaker 3: she was a teenager, and then her mom told her, oh,
- 30:19Speaker 3: the man that you thought was your father your entire
- 30:22Speaker 3: life is not your biological father. So then when she
- 30:26Speaker 3: was seventeen, she went looking for her biological father.
- 30:32Speaker 1: She found him.
- 30:33Speaker 3: They have a great relationship, but she says, yeah, this
- 30:37Speaker 3: is probably where my trust issues come from, because I
- 30:40Speaker 3: had full trust in my mom and this like caused
- 30:44Speaker 3: friction between us. Now obviously we know she's good with
- 30:47Speaker 3: her mom now because we saw her already meet Harry,
- 30:50Speaker 3: But like, what in the actual this shit that have
- 30:54Speaker 3: been brought up so much sooner? This is actually crazy.
- 30:58Speaker 3: I'm sorry we got the Vonne date.
- 31:01Speaker 2: How is it that they didn't tap into any of
- 31:03Speaker 2: this stuff?
- 31:04Speaker 3: This did not come up in your vulnerable conversation with
- 31:08Speaker 3: the group about writing stuff down on your tile?
- 31:11Speaker 2: Like what, remember when I told you that that date
- 31:15Speaker 2: felt very silly in that moment. Why couldn't they have
- 31:17Speaker 2: taken that opportunity to really open up, at least with
- 31:20Speaker 2: some of the girls that they wanted to have a
- 31:22Speaker 2: storyline with for the rest of this season and dive
- 31:25Speaker 2: more into it. We're sitting down with Harry and his family.
- 31:28Speaker 2: They're engaged, and she's just now telling this story about
- 31:31Speaker 2: her traumatic life when she was younger. It's like, we
- 31:34Speaker 2: get to know her and then she's gone like that.
- 31:36Speaker 3: But did you notice Harry already knew this because when
- 31:40Speaker 3: she's talking about her parents, he jumps in and he's like,
- 31:44Speaker 3: but she's good with her mom, now, she's good with
- 31:46Speaker 3: her dad.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Like everything's great. Oh, you're right.
- 31:48Speaker 2: I did see that, Heather, But it didn't just until
- 31:52Speaker 2: now it clicked. It didn't click with me at the
- 31:54Speaker 2: time when I saw.
- 31:55Speaker 3: It, So this story he knew. He's already in the note.
- 32:00Speaker 3: So whether this happened off camera during their one on
- 32:03Speaker 3: one night, you know, overnight they discuss this or whatever.
- 32:08Speaker 3: But this to me screams, sorry, guys, the producers that
- 32:16Speaker 3: are making this show, not the on you know, people
- 32:19Speaker 3: shooting the show, the executives, the people that are overseeing this,
- 32:22Speaker 3: the Alex Cooper team. They do not have a strong
- 32:26Speaker 3: history of making television shows.
- 32:29Speaker 1: And this to me screams like we're figuring it out.
- 32:33Speaker 3: And nothing screams more of we're figuring it out than
- 32:36Speaker 3: when you saw the mentors in the first episode, and
- 32:39Speaker 3: then they completely had different roles later on.
- 32:42Speaker 2: I cannot wait to touch on that as we get
- 32:44Speaker 2: further on. But there's a whole other issue with that
- 32:46Speaker 2: if we're being nitpicky for a moment too. I'm wondering
- 32:49Speaker 2: if you saw this as they're sitting there outside at
- 32:52Speaker 2: the picnic tables, Harry and Denell with his family, did
- 32:57Speaker 2: you notice that they showed the same shot several times
- 33:01Speaker 2: and it shows the backs of Harry and Danelle and
- 33:04Speaker 2: he's like rubbing her back. They showed the exact same
- 33:07Speaker 2: shot multiple times during this conversation.
- 33:11Speaker 3: No, I did notice that the same b roll footage
- 33:14Speaker 3: of the car was shown multiple times on the highway again.
- 33:17Speaker 3: It just like it screams like sorry, like we don't
- 33:23Speaker 3: we first go at it. We only have so many cameras,
- 33:26Speaker 3: we only have so much footage, Like it's just the
- 33:30Speaker 3: weird swipey transitions, like this is just this is a
- 33:33Speaker 3: very season one we're kind of figuring it out kind
- 33:36Speaker 3: of show, which you know, it is what it is.
- 33:40Speaker 2: She shows them the ring, both of them. Yeah, she
- 33:43Speaker 2: shows the sisters the ring. I actually wanted to scream
- 33:47Speaker 2: and text you and say.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Oh my god. They're talking about the tiny.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Ring again, and Harry is so proud to say, like,
- 33:52Speaker 2: oh I brought this other ring and he gave it
- 33:54Speaker 2: to her and what do you know was her size?
- 33:57Speaker 1: It was perfect.
- 33:59Speaker 3: Yeah, the second ring thing is really just a weird
- 34:04Speaker 3: red hairing. And I'm gonna say that it is.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Not real.
- 34:11Speaker 3: I'm just gonna say it, like, there's no way this
- 34:14Speaker 3: guy went and just like bought some weird ring before filming.
- 34:19Speaker 3: It's just a weird red herring.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Because what it does is it fools you as a.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Viewer to think, oh, well, he already has his mind
- 34:27Speaker 3: made up. He's had it made up since he gave
- 34:29Speaker 3: that girl the ring. And because there were so many girls,
- 34:33Speaker 3: it's a way of you not forgetting her in the mix,
- 34:37Speaker 3: because she's not a loud character at all throughout this.
- 34:41Speaker 3: But had we been more invested in her personal story
- 34:48Speaker 3: and known stuff about her like this early on, we
- 34:51Speaker 3: wouldn't have needed a weird red haring gimmick like a
- 34:54Speaker 3: fake ring extra fake ring. So it's just bad storytelling personally,
- 34:59Speaker 3: is what I thin. I think it comes down to,
- 35:01Speaker 3: and it is it's hard to balance the amount of drama,
- 35:05Speaker 3: the amount of conflict, and the amount of heartfelt you know,
- 35:09Speaker 3: on a show where there's one lead and there's x
- 35:13Speaker 3: amount of women.
- 35:14Speaker 1: So I say this all the time, but my.
- 35:17Speaker 3: Biggest problem is that there's too many contestants that are
- 35:22Speaker 3: filler on these shows. And if these casts were smaller,
- 35:27Speaker 3: you would have one less eliminations and two more time
- 35:31Speaker 3: to develop story and characters. So I hate the twenty
- 35:36Speaker 3: girls one guy. I think there's a reason why a
- 35:38Speaker 3: lot of shows have veered away from this format over
- 35:41Speaker 3: the years. It's also very hard to find a lead
- 35:44Speaker 3: that can carry an entire season like this, like Harry
- 35:47Speaker 3: is super seasoned now on TV, and that's why this
- 35:50Speaker 3: works in this situation. But it's really hard to find
- 35:54Speaker 3: a random person from obscurity and give them this role anymore.
- 35:59Speaker 3: And that's I think huge downfall of The Bachelor and
- 36:01Speaker 3: why it's been happening is because it's a lot of
- 36:04Speaker 3: pressure to put on somebody. But yeah, I think had
- 36:07Speaker 3: this cast been half as big and we had ten
- 36:10Speaker 3: girls versus twenty, I think we'd be having a much
- 36:12Speaker 3: different show, and we'd be more emotionally invested, and you'd
- 36:16Speaker 3: still have those big, fiery personalities like Juliana and stuff
- 36:22Speaker 3: like that that would go in there and mix it up.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Juliana, Sammy.
- 36:26Speaker 3: You know, that's all good, but you would just have
- 36:29Speaker 3: less of the filler people like the Emmas, like the
- 36:32Speaker 3: Maya Bees, you know, stuff like the ones.
- 36:34Speaker 2: At like episode five, we were like, who are they
- 36:36Speaker 2: when they get here?
- 36:37Speaker 1: Exactly? I'm with you. So Harry and Denell go on
- 36:51Speaker 1: their date way less romantic.
- 36:55Speaker 3: Romantic, it's go to a sheep farm and feed some
- 36:58Speaker 3: baby sheeps.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Not that it's not cute, it's so cute. It's so cute.
- 37:02Speaker 3: It's not a helicopter date with a rainbow, that's for
- 37:04Speaker 3: damn sure.
- 37:05Speaker 2: But I don't know they do this on The Bachelor
- 37:08Speaker 2: or too. Heather like, somebody gets this over the top
- 37:10Speaker 2: super romantic date and then somebody else kind of gets
- 37:13Speaker 2: what's left over.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Yeah, well that that was it for her. That's what
- 37:18Speaker 1: happened to poor Danelle.
- 37:20Speaker 3: So they go back to La the next day the
- 37:22Speaker 3: girlies and you know, we see Harry on the beach crying.
- 37:25Speaker 3: He's like really conflicted on what he's going to do,
- 37:29Speaker 3: which leads us right into the finale.
- 37:31Speaker 1: So we're back at the house in La.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Harry is having trouble sleeping, so he goes and meets
- 37:38Speaker 3: with two of his mentors, Amanda and Sonny, and they
- 37:42Speaker 3: meet up for him. They meet up with him for
- 37:45Speaker 3: coffee and he's telling them he really can't make a decision,
- 37:49Speaker 3: and Amanda asks if he's done a pros and CON's list,
- 37:52Speaker 3: and then again he's still like, you know, contemplating what
- 37:57Speaker 3: to do. Amanda says that Harry's low feelings and how
- 38:00Speaker 3: he's feeling like conflicted is a good thing because this
- 38:05Speaker 3: is going to.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Help him go, you know, further in life. This is
- 38:08Speaker 1: also weird.
- 38:09Speaker 2: We just started to touch on this a second ago
- 38:11Speaker 2: about the mentors, You know what I mean, All right,
- 38:14Speaker 2: here we are, they come back in, they pop in,
- 38:17Speaker 2: where's Georgia. No one even is like, oh, Georgia's under the.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Weather or whatever.
- 38:22Speaker 3: Georgia couldn't make it for filming that day for some reason.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Or whatever reason.
- 38:26Speaker 2: They don't even be like, they're not Oh, they don't say.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Anything about her.
- 38:30Speaker 3: No, now, she's not there for this, And neither one
- 38:34Speaker 3: of them the mentors have a strong opinion at this
- 38:37Speaker 3: point about which girl. But we'll get into this later
- 38:40Speaker 3: because one of them has given his strong opinion, and
- 38:43Speaker 3: so we'll talk about that. But then we see both
- 38:45Speaker 3: the girls. We see montages of them trying on wedding
- 38:48Speaker 3: dresses by themselves, all alone.
- 38:51Speaker 1: I thought the same thing hither. I was like, this
- 38:53Speaker 1: is kind of sad.
- 38:53Speaker 2: It's supposed to be a really beautiful moment, and this
- 38:55Speaker 2: is kind of sad. They're in there all alone. No
- 38:57Speaker 2: one's even like, no, girl, that one's not.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Right for you. They're all alone.
- 39:01Speaker 3: It all just felt nobody's nervous. This is what I'm noticing.
- 39:06Speaker 3: When we get to these wedding portions, nobody's nervous. Everybody's
- 39:12Speaker 3: just going through the motions having fun. Nobody's having their
- 39:16Speaker 3: I found the dress, said yes to the dress moment
- 39:18Speaker 3: and crying like none of that is happening.
- 39:22Speaker 2: No one's mom is there, Like when you buy a dress,
- 39:24Speaker 2: your mom and your best friend are supposed.
- 39:26Speaker 1: To be there. But why do you think nobody's getting
- 39:29Speaker 1: emotional or getting overwhelmed in the dress scene?
- 39:33Speaker 2: While I'm about to say something because now I've seen
- 39:35Speaker 2: some spoilers, Okay, can I touch on it?
- 39:38Speaker 1: This is a spoiler. Well, yeah, go ahead and say it.
- 39:42Speaker 3: This is your warning people, because I feel the same thing.
- 39:45Speaker 2: Okay, no one is getting emotional. No one is getting
- 39:49Speaker 2: emotional because they know it's not real exactly. They are
- 39:53Speaker 2: filming a bit for a television show. There is no
- 39:57Speaker 2: signed paperwork. They are not really marrying exactly.
- 40:01Speaker 3: I will fully agree with that everybody, And I think
- 40:05Speaker 3: it becomes even more apparent at the end during the vows.
- 40:09Speaker 3: So yeah, so I think this whole wedding set up,
- 40:14Speaker 3: this wearing the dress like nobody is in their.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Feels about any of this.
- 40:19Speaker 3: So then the next day Harry basically has last mini
- 40:23Speaker 3: dates with each of the girls.
- 40:25Speaker 1: So him and Danelle go to a park. Do we
- 40:27Speaker 1: love this park, Heather? Do we love this park? I
- 40:30Speaker 1: was like, oh my god.
- 40:32Speaker 3: So Harry's at a park that I was literally at
- 40:35Speaker 3: on Tuesday where I take my dog.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Park is kind of.
- 40:38Speaker 3: A stretch, It's like it's like a hill of grass,
- 40:42Speaker 3: like down by the beach. And I'm like, oh my gosh,
- 40:44Speaker 3: this is where I take my dog. And then Harry
- 40:46Speaker 3: walks up with two of his dogs. And Harry has
- 40:50Speaker 3: the exact same breed of dog as me. And I
- 40:54Speaker 3: was like shook it because then I went on his
- 40:57Speaker 3: socials and I was like, he has no pictures of
- 40:59Speaker 3: this dog. How would I have ever known that we
- 41:03Speaker 3: have the same dog breed?
- 41:05Speaker 2: Not just that, Heather, but come on, I was like,
- 41:08Speaker 2: really annoyed. We haven't heard anything about Harry's dogs.
- 41:10Speaker 1: He's been in LA this entire season.
- 41:12Speaker 2: We don't even know that Harry has dogs. And and
- 41:17Speaker 2: he rolls up to a park with two dogs. He
- 41:19Speaker 2: was like, Oh, you didn't know my dogs.
- 41:21Speaker 1: These are my dogs.
- 41:22Speaker 2: This one's a little anxious because she hasn't seen me
- 41:25Speaker 2: in some time, but like, these are my dogs.
- 41:27Speaker 3: They're what by the way, they're both such cute dogs.
- 41:30Speaker 3: And I love that he's like a little animal lover.
- 41:34Speaker 3: Like we've talked about this throughout the whole season. It's like,
- 41:36Speaker 3: Harry lives on a farm, Harry loves pigs, Harry loves
- 41:40Speaker 3: you know, cuckles and whatever. He used to go get
- 41:43Speaker 3: on the on the sheshell. So I love that about him.
- 41:47Speaker 3: But I was literally flabbergasted when he walked out with
- 41:51Speaker 3: a cavalier, because people, you don't see a lot of
- 41:56Speaker 3: six or five straight men walking around with a cavalier,
- 42:00Speaker 3: little tiny dogs that aren't married or divorced, like I.
- 42:05Speaker 1: There are guys like there's a guy in name.
- 42:06Speaker 2: I went to bed so early, and I'll have everybody
- 42:09Speaker 2: know that I woke up this morning at five am
- 42:11Speaker 2: to text messages from Heather because she is so excited
- 42:14Speaker 2: that Harry has dogs and he's at the same park
- 42:17Speaker 2: that she takes her dog too, and she is I
- 42:19Speaker 2: could just hear the excitement in this text message.
- 42:23Speaker 1: We're living two totally different lives.
- 42:25Speaker 2: Heather's so see to be at almost eleven o'clock and
- 42:27Speaker 2: I'm waking up at five and Heather's like.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Oh my god, it's my park.
- 42:31Speaker 3: So excited as Wait, I'm like, wait, that's a mark
- 42:35Speaker 3: that I go to.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Wait, he has the same dog as we. What Like,
- 42:39Speaker 1: I was, let's let's marry Harry. Let's marry him or
- 42:42Speaker 1: maybe marry our dogs. What if my dog because mine's
- 42:46Speaker 1: a boy and his is a girl.
- 42:48Speaker 2: He did look a little disheveled trying to walk the dogs,
- 42:51Speaker 2: like trying to control them in the park. They were
- 42:52Speaker 2: all like tangled up and twisting their leash, and he
- 42:54Speaker 2: was like dogs, dogs, dogs, dogs, everyone calm down.
- 42:57Speaker 3: I was just I was like, I adore this man
- 43:00Speaker 3: even more now because we have the same thing. Maybe
- 43:04Speaker 3: I'll see Harry at the dog park one day. Maybe.
- 43:08Speaker 3: So Dnelle says, you know, she loves him. She's feeling
- 43:13Speaker 3: good about them.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Great.
- 43:15Speaker 3: Then he goes and has his little mini date with Amber,
- 43:17Speaker 3: same beach people. Uh, they're just walking on the beach
- 43:21Speaker 3: and you know, Harry is feeling, you know, so worried
- 43:24Speaker 3: because he's gonna hurt somebody.
- 43:27Speaker 1: Amber says she's.
- 43:27Speaker 3: Excited about the possibility of getting married to him. She's
- 43:31Speaker 3: so grateful for this connection. And they tell each other
- 43:36Speaker 3: that they love each other.
- 43:37Speaker 1: In this scene. So now it's official. He's in love
- 43:41Speaker 1: with both of them.
- 43:43Speaker 3: So it's the wedding day and we see them all
- 43:46Speaker 3: getting ready for the big day and their friends are
- 43:50Speaker 3: coming in, they're greeting them, and then we get the
- 43:54Speaker 3: fastest breakup scene I've ever seen on a dating show ever.
- 43:59Speaker 1: I was like jolted into trauma.
- 44:02Speaker 3: You know that if this was The Bachelor, this would
- 44:04Speaker 3: be half the episode would just be this breakup scene.
- 44:08Speaker 3: This was like, it happened, it was done, Let's go
- 44:12Speaker 3: get married.
- 44:12Speaker 1: She doesn't even have time to cry.
- 44:14Speaker 3: She does not cry in front of him. She's not
- 44:17Speaker 3: upset like it is. Why why is nobody upset?
- 44:21Speaker 1: Because it's not real exactly.
- 44:25Speaker 2: I needed to see her like rip the veil off
- 44:27Speaker 2: and be like why did you waste my time and
- 44:29Speaker 2: putting this dress on, getting all this hair and makeup done,
- 44:32Speaker 2: flying my friends out, Like how dare you?
- 44:34Speaker 3: It's gonna happen at the reunion for sure, Like there's
- 44:37Speaker 3: that's where things are gonna get heated. Because it was.
- 44:41Speaker 3: It was so fast. It was like deer in headlights.
- 44:45Speaker 3: And for somebody like Harry, who has cried through this
- 44:50Speaker 3: entire series, he is not crying through this, So people
- 44:56Speaker 3: Harry goes to Dnell's room.
- 44:58Speaker 1: She's surprised to see him.
- 44:59Speaker 3: She's a full blown wedding dress and a veil, and
- 45:03Speaker 3: Harry says, this has been by the way, when he's.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Nervous, he talks really fast. He's talked to, he talks
- 45:09Speaker 1: really fast. He just has to get through it.
- 45:12Speaker 3: So he's talking very fast, and he's telling her his decision.
- 45:15Speaker 3: He's fallen in love with her. He says, it's literally
- 45:18Speaker 3: at this speed. He says, they aren't getting get married today.
- 45:20Speaker 3: She doesn't deserve him, somebody who is second guessing her,
- 45:24Speaker 3: she says. So she says she doesn't have anything to
- 45:28Speaker 3: say other than she just feels really stupid, and they
- 45:32Speaker 3: have a very awkward hug and he leaves. She says
- 45:37Speaker 3: she feels blindsided. And I think that is actually a
- 45:40Speaker 3: very accurate depiction of what's happening here, Like you can
- 45:44Speaker 3: I dress for just a minute, tell me, tell me
- 45:46Speaker 3: When I was on The Bachelor, I was on Brad
- 45:49Speaker 3: Womack's season, and his very first season, he very famously
- 45:53Speaker 3: doesn't choose anyone, and I remember feeling this.
- 45:58Speaker 2: Exact same way. Brad and I stayed together the night before.
- 46:03Speaker 2: You can guess right, And the next day he hugs
- 46:06Speaker 2: me and he kisses me and he's like, i'll see
- 46:07Speaker 2: you tomorrow and I said, don't remind me, and he said,
- 46:10Speaker 2: don't worry, it's gonna be a good day. So in
- 46:13Speaker 2: this moment, I wanted to sob for Danelle because I
- 46:17Speaker 2: felt all of the same things. When they get me ready,
- 46:21Speaker 2: they film me saying hi to Chris Harrison. I take
- 46:24Speaker 2: the long walk and these like six inch stilettos, praying
- 46:27Speaker 2: to God I don't fall over into the grass and die.
- 46:30Speaker 2: And then they get up there on that podium with
- 46:33Speaker 2: Brad and he decides not to choose me, And in
- 46:36Speaker 2: that moment, I am like catapulted into reality. And I
- 46:41Speaker 2: start looking around and I see the cameras hidden in
- 46:44Speaker 2: the grass wall with the flowers behind me, the producers
- 46:48Speaker 2: to my left, and I feel so stupid. In that moment,
- 46:54Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, sh right, it's a television show. It
- 47:01Speaker 2: was never about me. But I remember thinking and saying
- 47:04Speaker 2: that same thing, because he kept wanting to hug me
- 47:07Speaker 2: and hold me and tell me it was gonna be okay.
- 47:09Speaker 2: And I was like, you are the last person I trust.
- 47:12Speaker 2: In this moment, along with the rest of these GIRs
- 47:15Speaker 2: sitting around watching and I felt so stupid.
- 47:19Speaker 1: I can't even imagine. But she really holds it together
- 47:25Speaker 1: mm hmm.
- 47:26Speaker 3: And then obviously in her interview after we see this
- 47:30Speaker 3: was one tier and that tear was moving so slow
- 47:36Speaker 3: down her face, but just one tier she gives to Harry.
- 47:40Speaker 3: I did the same thing to Brad. One baby dragon
- 47:43Speaker 3: tear down the side of my cheek. They were gonna
- 47:45Speaker 3: make me sit in that limo all night until I cried,
- 47:47Speaker 3: and I was like, you people are the worst people
- 47:48Speaker 3: in the entire world. And it cuts to me with
- 47:51Speaker 3: one dragon tear coming down the side of my face
- 47:53Speaker 3: over Brad Womack. Yeah, what's crazy is Harry literally races
- 48:09Speaker 3: to the altar right after this. He gets in a car,
- 48:13Speaker 3: drives there, and then I wrote, Alex Cooper is there
- 48:16Speaker 3: to greet him when he gets out of the car,
- 48:18Speaker 3: And then I wrote, Alex Cooper is so obnoxious in
- 48:21Speaker 3: this scene.
- 48:22Speaker 1: This should have been one of the mentors greeting him,
- 48:25Speaker 1: like why are you here?
- 48:27Speaker 4: Oh?
- 48:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I get that you're the executive producer, but go
- 48:31Speaker 3: It's like she gives him this whole speech of like
- 48:34Speaker 3: I felt like I was getting dressed for a funeral
- 48:37Speaker 3: today because it's the death of the old you, but
- 48:40Speaker 3: it's also.
- 48:41Speaker 1: The marriage of the new you.
- 48:42Speaker 3: And I was like, bye, like, you're so annoying, Like
- 48:46Speaker 3: this should have been Sonny, sorry, but this is That's
- 48:49Speaker 3: who it should have been. Should have been Sonny greeting
- 48:51Speaker 3: him when he gets out of the car, being like, hey, man,
- 48:54Speaker 3: I'm your best man here today.
- 48:56Speaker 1: You ready to do this. I'm so proud of you.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Because then we get to the altar and Amanda Klutes
- 49:02Speaker 3: is the one who's the wedding officiant.
- 49:04Speaker 1: That's fine, this makes sense.
- 49:06Speaker 3: Yeah, George's in the audience sitting there like rooting on,
- 49:09Speaker 3: ready to So it's like, Alex, it was.
- 49:11Speaker 2: This weird, like, oh, remember me, I'm paying for all
- 49:14Speaker 2: of this. This is my production company. So like she
- 49:17Speaker 2: needs a little bit of recognition.
- 49:19Speaker 1: She already had her coffee scene. Get out of here.
- 49:22Speaker 1: You're so annoying. Sorry.
- 49:24Speaker 3: Anybody listening is like a huge, gigantic Alex Cooper fan.
- 49:28Speaker 2: I'm just like, did you also notice the only filmed
- 49:30Speaker 2: from behind? I don't know why I'm so invested in
- 49:33Speaker 2: like that.
- 49:34Speaker 1: No, they filmed her she's facing him.
- 49:37Speaker 2: Yeah, but we didn't get a good full body shot
- 49:40Speaker 2: of her unless I just like fell asleep or something
- 49:43Speaker 2: like you.
- 49:44Speaker 3: I feel like I could tell she's wearing like a
- 49:46Speaker 3: purple dress. It was like long sleeve. It was pretty
- 49:49Speaker 3: form fitting. But the rest of the shots we see
- 49:51Speaker 3: of her, she's sitting and.
- 49:54Speaker 2: She's the only one wearing sunglasses. Everyone else is filming
- 49:57Speaker 2: reality television and not allowed to wear sunglasses except for
- 50:00Speaker 2: Alex Cooper. She is wearing these cute little trendy shades
- 50:03Speaker 2: the entire time at someone's wedding, and it wasn't even
- 50:05Speaker 2: sunny out.
- 50:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:08Speaker 3: Anyways, Amber exits and Harry is emotional, and then I
- 50:15Speaker 3: wrote when she gets up to the altar and they're
- 50:18Speaker 3: facing each other, that his hands are in his pockets.
- 50:22Speaker 1: I didn't notice that it was weird.
- 50:24Speaker 3: The next scene they're out of his pockets and he's
- 50:27Speaker 3: clasping them in front of him. But at first when
- 50:29Speaker 3: she joins him, his hands are in his pockets, which
- 50:33Speaker 3: you know, typical is you hold hands with your soon
- 50:36Speaker 3: to be bride. That's what people tend to do.
- 50:38Speaker 2: My god, I'm gonna have to go back and watch
- 50:40Speaker 2: that scene, Heather. I mean, I remember getting the feeling
- 50:43Speaker 2: that they are not two lovers in love. Like it
- 50:46Speaker 2: was very school school kid kind of situation. But I
- 50:49Speaker 2: don't remember that. I'm going to have to go back
- 50:51Speaker 2: and look for that. It was interesting.
- 50:54Speaker 3: So then they say that they're going to read their
- 50:56Speaker 3: own vows and they're like laughing. That's what I wanted
- 51:01Speaker 3: to say again, was how I felt this was not
- 51:04Speaker 3: real is that they're just continuing to laugh throughout this
- 51:08Speaker 3: entire ceremony. They are improving, and he keeps saying like wow.
- 51:14Speaker 3: He keeps saying things like wow, oh my gosh, and
- 51:18Speaker 3: like laughing. So then Harry pulls out these little Harry
- 51:23Speaker 3: Potter looking esque glasses to read his vows.
- 51:27Speaker 1: Listen for anyone listening.
- 51:28Speaker 2: I just sent Heather a message on Instagram and I
- 51:30Speaker 2: was like, Oh, he's so cute in glasses. Why didn't
- 51:32Speaker 2: he do that all season? And then here he is
- 51:34Speaker 2: and his Harry Potter glasses.
- 51:35Speaker 3: So, first of all, I would fully agree, and he's
- 51:38Speaker 3: been doing a lot of press for the show wearing
- 51:40Speaker 3: all with his glasses on. He's adorable in the glasses.
- 51:44Speaker 3: My only thing that I would say is why they
- 51:46Speaker 3: probably didn't have him wear them during filming was because
- 51:50Speaker 3: of glares. Oh yeah, yeah, so they were outside so much,
- 51:54Speaker 3: so that's probably why. But other than that, for his
- 51:56Speaker 3: indoor scenes and night scenes, he should have been wearing
- 51:58Speaker 3: them because he looks.
- 51:59Speaker 2: So not everybody can pull off glasses, especially small round frames,
- 52:03Speaker 2: and he is a Hutie Petudian. Glasses so cute.
- 52:06Speaker 3: So he pulls them out, which gets kind of some laughs,
- 52:08Speaker 3: and he goes, oh, like, just wait a second. He
- 52:11Speaker 3: reads his vows and he ends it by saying that
- 52:15Speaker 3: these are his dad's glasses and he wanted his dad
- 52:18Speaker 3: to see how beautiful she is. And I wrote, oh
- 52:21Speaker 3: my god, I wrote I'm weeping, and now I'm actually
- 52:24Speaker 3: tearing up like rereading it because it was so sweet
- 52:30Speaker 3: when he said that she doesn't cry though, I think
- 52:33Speaker 3: when she.
- 52:33Speaker 2: Is not touched by the moment, everyone else is touched
- 52:36Speaker 2: by the moment except for her.
- 52:38Speaker 3: I'm touched rethinking about it right now, so I really
- 52:43Speaker 3: I literally wrote I'm weeping.
- 52:45Speaker 2: She is there is literally weeping right now.
- 52:49Speaker 1: She is lip tears rolling down her cheeks. I thought
- 52:51Speaker 1: it was so sweet. It is very sweet.
- 52:54Speaker 3: Hamber says that this has all been about her letting
- 52:58Speaker 3: her guard down and surrendering to the process. And then
- 53:02Speaker 3: I wrote they just keep laughing through this ceremony, and
- 53:06Speaker 3: then they kiss.
- 53:08Speaker 2: Do you know that she did not write her vowels?
- 53:11Speaker 2: It gets to her turn and she says, oh, I
- 53:13Speaker 2: didn't write anything down.
- 53:15Speaker 3: Yeah. She just looks at him and like speaks, well,
- 53:18Speaker 3: she's already done this before you know, you.
- 53:21Speaker 1: Are still crying. You are still crying.
- 53:23Speaker 3: This is her second wedding, so it's not maybe she
- 53:26Speaker 3: was just like whatever, No, it is Yeah. So they kiss,
- 53:32Speaker 3: and then we get a whole bunch of scenes from
- 53:34Speaker 3: their reception. Harry's mom come up and says something to
- 53:39Speaker 3: her and she's you know, it's all cute, right. They
- 53:44Speaker 3: do one last final little interview scene and she.
- 53:47Speaker 2: Is sitting on his laps, straddling him like a toddler.
- 53:50Speaker 3: She's sitting on him, and then we get a whole
- 53:52Speaker 3: bunch of little shots of them post filming, is what
- 53:56Speaker 3: we're supposed to think, but I will guarantee you that
- 53:59Speaker 3: some of those look like they were shot in New
- 54:01Speaker 3: Zealand when they were together. So it says and then
- 54:05Speaker 3: it says, you know, reunion is coming.
- 54:07Speaker 1: Blah blah blah.
- 54:08Speaker 3: So now we're going to get into some stuff that
- 54:11Speaker 3: we saw on the internet. So again, we're not going
- 54:15Speaker 3: to dive deep into everything because we want to leave
- 54:17Speaker 3: some stuff to people. But TMZ did report Harry Jowsey
- 54:22Speaker 3: Netflix's wedding isn't legally binding, so it goes in to
- 54:27Speaker 3: say that the winner and Harry aren't legally married as
- 54:33Speaker 3: far as TMZ has learned. Sources familiar with the situation
- 54:37Speaker 3: tell TMZ, despite Harry and Amber exchanging vows during the
- 54:42Speaker 3: show's finale this week, they intentionally held off on making
- 54:47Speaker 3: the marriage official.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Supposedly, this is what the sources are saying.
- 54:54Speaker 3: They held off on making an official to avoid spoiling
- 54:57Speaker 3: the ending before it aired. As one source put it,
- 55:01Speaker 3: we were preventing a love is blind situation where eagle
- 55:05Speaker 3: eyed fans discover marriage records before viewers learn which couples
- 55:10Speaker 3: say I do. A production source also confirmed to TMZ
- 55:14Speaker 3: Harry and Amber didn't legally marry quote unquote yet because
- 55:18Speaker 3: of spoiler concerns, TMZ is told they will arrive together
- 55:22Speaker 3: at the reunion scheduled to film August twenty fourth, and
- 55:26Speaker 3: give fans an update on how their relationship has been
- 55:29Speaker 3: going since the show wrapped. TMZ searched marriage records in
- 55:33Speaker 3: locations tied to the production and found no record of
- 55:37Speaker 3: a couple legally tying the knot. Harry chose Amber over
- 55:42Speaker 3: Danel after dating twenty women, says the Amber officiated. Excuse me,
- 55:47Speaker 3: says Amanda officiated the televised wedding, and it says bottom line,
- 55:52Speaker 3: Harry and Amber are still single, at least in the
- 55:55Speaker 3: eyes of the law.
- 55:56Speaker 1: So I'm gonna say that I think that that's bs.
- 56:01Speaker 2: Oh really, I was gonna say that I could kind
- 56:03Speaker 2: of get on board with that.
- 56:05Speaker 3: I can get on board with the idea. I just
- 56:08Speaker 3: don't think that that's the case. And I'll say why,
- 56:14Speaker 3: because even if you have a planned airing date of
- 56:18Speaker 3: a show, it's never fully guaranteed. Things can get shifted, pushed, whatever,
- 56:25Speaker 3: for whatever reasons. So I think that's like a huge
- 56:29Speaker 3: gamble to be like, oh, we decided to not have
- 56:33Speaker 3: them get married because we didn't want to spoiler. What
- 56:37Speaker 3: if this show didn't air for like a year from now.
- 56:40Speaker 3: That's the case that you're gonna say.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Oh, I guess I just didn't think of it like that.
- 56:44Speaker 2: I guess I just was like, Okay, logistically, I get
- 56:47Speaker 2: it they didn't get married, because sure some sleuthor would
- 56:50Speaker 2: be able to find a marriage certificate and be like nope,
- 56:52Speaker 2: nope at the very beginning and be like, no, he
- 56:54Speaker 2: chose amber, here's the marriage certificate.
- 56:56Speaker 1: Call it a day. I just like, maybe I'm dumb.
- 56:59Speaker 2: Maybe that's why I was on reality TV because I'm
- 57:02Speaker 2: just that gullible.
- 57:03Speaker 3: But then it backfires the other way and people just say, oh,
- 57:06Speaker 3: you didn't get married. There's no marriage license out there
- 57:10Speaker 3: for him, so the show must be fake. It's like
- 57:13Speaker 3: you can't win in that situation. So that to me
- 57:17Speaker 3: just doesn't make sense. And I just think by the
- 57:20Speaker 3: way they were acting and how fast the motions were going,
- 57:24Speaker 3: and the laughing and all of that, it just lends
- 57:28Speaker 3: me to think that everybody was in on this, that
- 57:30Speaker 3: this was not legally binding, and this was a show
- 57:33Speaker 3: that ended in a wedding. The other thing we already
- 57:37Speaker 3: talked about, which was the Harry addressing who he hooked
- 57:41Speaker 3: up with. The other thing I want to talk about
- 57:45Speaker 3: is the clip that I sent you, which was the
- 57:47Speaker 3: mentors and Harry, and they were asking the mentors if
- 57:53Speaker 3: they they go The person doing the interview says like
- 57:55Speaker 3: I know you can't spoil it, but what did you
- 57:58Speaker 3: think of Harry's final pick? And Georgia and Amanda both
- 58:03Speaker 3: say they're all for it, they really liked it.
- 58:07Speaker 2: His buddy Sonny does not even crack a smile and
- 58:11Speaker 2: is like hard pass absolutely not.
- 58:14Speaker 3: Says like, I would not have picked that person. If
- 58:17Speaker 3: there is a person at the end of all of this,
- 58:19Speaker 3: if there was a decision.
- 58:20Speaker 1: I caught that too, that would not be my choice.
- 58:25Speaker 1: And I was like, wow, right.
- 58:28Speaker 2: For someone who did not We did not get a
- 58:31Speaker 2: lot of sides to Amber this season for him to
- 58:36Speaker 2: say such strong statements, Yes, he knows something that we
- 58:41Speaker 2: do not know.
- 58:42Speaker 3: Well, we do know that he Harry calls him one
- 58:45Speaker 3: of his best friends. Yeah, so Harry kind of puts
- 58:49Speaker 3: his head down in kind of like giggles like during
- 58:51Speaker 3: this whole interaction.
- 58:54Speaker 1: So I thought that that was pretty crazy.
- 58:58Speaker 3: The other thing I wanted to bring and will end
- 59:00Speaker 3: on this, is that we said in a previous episode
- 59:05Speaker 3: that Letia gar Grant's runner up, had posted a video
- 59:10Speaker 3: with Amber and somebody a fan calling them like twins,
- 59:15Speaker 3: and I said they must know each other.
- 59:18Speaker 1: Hm, I don't know.
- 59:19Speaker 3: How well Letia has posted a video today and I'm
- 59:23Speaker 3: going to play the audio from it because it definitely
- 59:26Speaker 3: gives us some more information.
- 59:30Speaker 5: My cousin married Harry Chelsey on Netflix yesterday, and I
- 59:33Speaker 5: experienced on Bachelor, I was number two. Something that was
- 59:36Speaker 5: very obvious from my season that I can already see
- 59:39Speaker 5: with hers that she is the victim of a lopsided edit.
- 59:43Speaker 5: I was the beneficiary of a lopsided edit. I feel
- 59:47Speaker 5: like they try to make everybody sympathize with the one
- 59:51Speaker 5: that's gonna get dumped because that's better TV. Like they
- 59:54Speaker 5: want to elicit emotional reactions and they want like all
- 59:56Speaker 5: the speculation. I'm starting to see some disco online and
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: some takes and some videos that are being made and
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: hot takes about Amber.
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: I just want everybody to know, lay off of Amber. Okay.
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: It's like a video going around of her getting on
- 1:00:10Speaker 5: a plane. That guy is on her boyfriend. She's this big,
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: she weighs fifteen pounds. She's literally the size.
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: Of a little boo boo.
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: She gets picked up all the time that guy's on
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: her boyfriend, and it's definitely not any indication about her
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: relationship with Harry. The second part is people are saying
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: that she wasn't ready for marriage, like.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: It looks different on everyone when they're ready.
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: He was as ready to be there as any girl
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: that was there, I promise you, including everyone, including everyone.
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: So lay off and there's a reunion in two weeks.
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: And so they're leaving everything really murky so that everybody
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: can fight it out. And they love the discourse online,
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: so keep it up, keep watching it, keep talking about it.
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: All the rest of it lay off of Amber. She
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: didn't do anything wrong. She is not a shady person
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: at being said. Both of the girls are stunning and
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: beautiful and deserve love and opportun comunities. I know that
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: we love hating women. Just don't hate ammer. That's my cousin.
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: Stay tuned, everybody watch click the link post questions, but
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: freaking relax.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: Hate women, but you don't get to hate my woman.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: Listen.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: I think I think she's being a little tongue in
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: cheek there. We are huge Latilla fans here on the pod.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: We absolutely adore her and I love that she you
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: know said, hey, I know that this is what's happening
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: with the edit because I'm the one who got that
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: the good side of that online. Come on, now she
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: got the come on now you know on her breakup
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: and she came out looking like a shiny penny. People
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: loved her for it, and now you know, Letia is
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: on Secret Lives and Mormon Wives on.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Hulu, so we love that for her.
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: First of all, I'm obsessed with the fact that I
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: have confirmation that they're cousins. I have so much I
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: want to know about this.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: So if we, if we are able, we should have
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: them on the same episode. That would be great.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: But I don't think Lytia is allowed to do interviews
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: right right because she's currently on Mormon Wives and they
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: don't let them do press until the show is actually airing.
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: But obviously we would love to have Litia back on
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: once she's allowed to. But of course I want Amber
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: even more now because I'm like, oh my god, your
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: cousin was the runner up, and literally that was only
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: within the last year and a half.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: So how did you get onto this show?
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: I know that there's a bachelor, there's bachelor producers on
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: this show.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: Is it one of those scenarios, Heather, Like you said
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: in the beginning about casting, one hot girl's got another
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: hot girl who's got another hot girl.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: He's got more hot friends.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: Absolutely, So I don't think that it's just her cousin
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: randomly applied for this show.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: No, I'd love to hear the whole.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: Backstory of how she got cast, whether it was Letia
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: saw this or heard about this and encouraged her, or
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: somebody reached out to Litia and asked her for references
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: or something. But I think that it's it's a great
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: little nugget of connection. Second of all, yes, there's a
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: lot of discourse I guess right now on the internet
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: about Amber.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I don't get it.
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: Again, I'm not super invested into either one of these
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: women in that way where I'm like outwardly like upset
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: about this. So if you are chill out, it's just
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: a TV show. We're all here for fun. Harry's laughing
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: through the entire thing. It's fun. But it does make
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: me interested because I don't want to go too much
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: into it. But there's a lot of stuff on the internet,
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: like she was alluding to saying that they're no longer together,
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: So I can't wait to hear how this kind of
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: all plays out on the reunion, which we will obviously
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: be recapping for you guys. When that happens and coming back.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: But overall, as we close it out, what did you
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: think of Let's Marry Harry?
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: I really enjoyed it. Meet, I really enjoyed it. I
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: wasn't sold on it in the beginning. You know that
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: you were like, Let's marry Harry from the get I
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: was not.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: It was it was.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: It took me some time, but like, yeah, I like
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: Harry Chelsea.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Now I love it. We're fans.
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: Well, we hope you guys have liked this recap. Tell
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: us leave us a voicemail eight four four five almost.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: I would love to hear your thoughts. Do you think
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: that the wedding was real? Do you think that Harry
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: made the right choice in choosing Amber? What did you
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: think about the mentors? We want to hear all of it,
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: so definitely, you know, leave us a voicemail. Maybe we'll
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: play them when we go back to do the reunion.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: If you've got a question that you would like to
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: ask one of the girls from Harry's season, leave us
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: a voicemail eight four four five almost. Maybe we'll play
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: it for them if we get them on the pod.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: If you've got a question, But this has been really fun, Deanna.
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: As always, thanks so much for having me here to
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: do this. This has been another fun show for the
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: books for us. I need my next obsession, Heather.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: Thank you. Let's find out what that is.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: Maybe people have an idea of what they think we
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: should recap next. Also leave us a comment or a
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: voicemail about that. But until then, I've been Heather.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: I've been Deanna. Bye bye,
