- 0:00I'll make this one brief. I think something that's really.
- 0:06Underrated and obviously through and with almost in sight and
- 0:11frankly. So many other products services
- 0:14companies in the HR Tech sector that utilizing a odd as
- 0:18utilizing gamification. We're all starting to realize
- 0:22that. Something that is difficult but
- 0:25the most important measurement is honestly, and I'm pausing is,
- 0:32I want to make sure that I really believe this because this
- 0:35is something that just came. Came through my experiences
- 0:39today. This is not a plan episode.
- 0:40It's just kind of off the cuff here.
- 0:44Yeah, I'll go with it. I really believe one of the
- 0:47biggest components to to an organization and the success of
- 0:53an organization and the hiring process is around an
- 0:56organization. Is the ability to measure
- 1:01understand and proactively predict how someone will.
- 1:08React in a situational basis and how they the type of decisions
- 1:15they will make and how leaders and team members will work
- 1:20together. That is the hardest thing to
- 1:22predict That is the toughest thing to predict.
- 1:28But if you really want to be honest, with ourselves, and
- 1:31understand human beings and how businesses are run period, we
- 1:36would all raise our hand and admit.
- 1:40That when it comes down to, when it comes down to alignment and
- 1:46successful hiring and successful integration of candidates, and
- 1:50two new teams and current teams. And when it comes to successful
- 1:55relationships between leadership and employees, and vice versa,
- 2:00when it comes to all of those factors, if you have a tool, a
- 2:04process and ability to read how someone proactively will make,
- 2:09Visions, how someone will react to situations how to people
- 2:16React to similar situations. How how folks work if you can
- 2:20figure that out. Or as much as that proactively.
- 2:26You'll be super dangerous. You'll make a lot of impact,
- 2:30you'll make a lot of successful hires, you're a successful
- 2:32higher score. If you were to score, it will be
- 2:35in the, you know, the 80 and 90 percentile. because that's
- 2:40really what it comes down to, for instance, If you have a
- 2:44leader that will consistently put an employee in a situation,
- 2:50we're that employee has three different decisions to make on
- 2:55some sort of project management issue.
- 2:59And that leader has a particular preference that he may be
- 3:02looking to hear and what he made you looking for that candidate
- 3:06to select and I'm just talking about a real situation that may
- 3:10occur inside of a team inside of a department 12 out of the 30
- 3:15days. You know, a month or 31 days in
- 3:17a month, I pretty consistent and that leader may have a pet peeve
- 3:23towards ways that certain people react to project management
- 3:26issues and If there's a way to put three different options in
- 3:32front of a candidate in a situation where they have the
- 3:35ability to explain their selves and and select the direction
- 3:39they would go. When the answer, they would
- 3:40decide to move against in this, the decision they would make.
- 3:44And if the leader was able to really recognize and see and
- 3:46understand that and learn that proactively before they actually
- 3:49hire that person and put that person in that situation,
- 3:53there's a lot of good that can be had by being able to measure
- 3:55that and know that. Now, I will admit I used to be
- 4:02the type of person that says hiring is really nothing more
- 4:06than making educated guesses, crossing your fingers and pray
- 4:11and holding your breath. Because you're really don't
- 4:15know. Until you get to know.
- 4:16Someone you're really don't know until you start to build that
- 4:21relationship and work with each other, and you hire fast,
- 4:25fighter faster, right? Potentially or hire a fast,
- 4:30consider firing faster. But immediately go to fast
- 4:34executions of empathy, fast, executions of listening fast,
- 4:37executions of, you know, mixing things up and, and, and being
- 4:42flexible, right. But here's the punchline that
- 4:46I'm starting to recognize and respect more and more with the
- 4:49work that I'm doing with all Miss Insight, the amazing
- 4:52meeting I had with Alexandra. The the work that I saw mine
- 4:57stand, Take A Part in the the research that I'm doing from an
- 5:00AI perspective in the Workforce Development space, if you can
- 5:04predict read, understand, measure, and comprehend.
- 5:09How to individuals will? Will productively or not
- 5:15productively make decisions together, productively or not
- 5:18productively work well together, productively or not productively
- 5:22energized and, and fuel each other and very nuanced
- 5:26conceptual ways, right? And very nuanced architectural
- 5:31ways that there's ways you can throw situation is active and
- 5:34really know. Really know and utilize
- 5:38technology to do that. Now, you're onto something.
- 5:44And I believe every single company small and large needs to
- 5:48be able to utilize some sort of version of that capability, some
- 5:52sort of version of that value. They all deserve it.
- 5:58Because hiring is expensive. And more than even the money,
- 6:03more than even the productivity more than even the value to the
- 6:06business. We're human beings at the end of
- 6:10the day. Let me remind you.
- 6:15We are human beings at the end of the day.
- 6:20Bringing two people together. That can Inspire each other.
- 6:24That work, well, naturally with each other that has that have
- 6:28decision-making perspectives and preferences that mesh well with
- 6:33each other that are aligned with each other.
- 6:36Individuals that have the same or similar or empathetic
- 6:40perspectives around certain experiences and how they would
- 6:43attack an approach and deal with those experiences.
- 6:46It's all a good idea to be able to measure and understand that.
- 6:50So as always, Just a few thoughts.
- 6:55Just a few perspectives. We'll talk soon.
