- 0:09Speaker 1: I don't have much in the way of trailers for
- 0:12Speaker 1: you today, so you'll have to work at work. But
- 0:16Speaker 1: the only one that we got is it's more of
- 0:18Speaker 1: a teaser, more of an announcer kind of thing. This
- 0:25Speaker 1: is coming soon. It's one of the most popular stories
- 0:33Speaker 1: or runs of teenage mutant Ninja Turtles in comics history,
- 0:37Speaker 1: in the history of the Turtles, that is, it was
- 0:40Speaker 1: called The Last Ronan and it follows the last surviving
- 0:44Speaker 1: Ninja Turtle as he embarks on a desperate mission for vengeance. Now,
- 0:49Speaker 1: the original plan was to do take this comic book
- 0:53Speaker 1: because it was quite violent and everything. It was for adults.
- 0:57Speaker 1: It wasn't for kids. In the original talk was to
- 1:00Speaker 1: make an R rated version of the story onto the
- 1:02Speaker 1: big screen, but that was before sky Dance took over
- 1:05Speaker 1: Paramount and everything else.
- 1:07Speaker 2: In the world.
- 1:08Speaker 1: At the end, the directions of it changed, so they
- 1:14Speaker 1: they're going to do a video game of it, and
- 1:16Speaker 1: this is a sort of a teaser for the video game.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Now it's Michaelangelo is the last living Ninja Turtle, no,
- 1:31Speaker 1: and so this is him going out for vengeance. You've
- 1:38Speaker 1: killed my brothers and my father. Kind I'll get you Shredder.
- 1:45Speaker 1: So this is just basically saying, you know, we don't
- 1:49Speaker 1: know when we're gonna have this finished, but it is.
- 1:51Speaker 1: We're working on it.
- 1:54Speaker 2: And it's a pretty good game studio. It's Platinum Games.
- 1:57Speaker 1: They're best known for titles like Bayoneta. They do a
- 2:02Speaker 1: pretty good job. So I would have liked to have
- 2:10Speaker 1: seen the cartoon, but there you go. You get the
- 2:12Speaker 1: video game. And I've been meaning to read that comic
- 2:14Speaker 1: book for a long time.
- 2:15Speaker 2: It's a good excuse to get caught up on this.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I had to go to Black Cat and pick it up.
- 2:20Speaker 2: All right.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Now, there was a lot of talk about who was
- 2:25Speaker 1: number one at the box office this weekend. Well as
- 2:29Speaker 1: of Friday, I think that this lost it to a
- 2:34Speaker 1: scary movie.
- 2:35Speaker 2: But as of Friday, You'll never guess.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Which movie was number one at the box office. It
- 2:42Speaker 1: wasn't Obsession. No, it wasn't Back Rooms, it wasn't Michael,
- 2:46Speaker 1: it wasn't The Mandalorian and Grogu It was Amazing Digital Circus.
- 2:53Speaker 1: What is that exactly?
- 2:57Speaker 2: It is? It was?
- 2:59Speaker 1: It just kicked ass on Friday at the box office.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Thursday and Friday, I thought scary movie was number Scary
- 3:05Speaker 1: movie was number one eventually when it was all done,
- 3:08Speaker 1: but as of Friday, this Thursday and Friday, this movie
- 3:11Speaker 1: was just kicking ass. It's another video YouTube thing, YouTube cartoon.
- 3:16Speaker 2: I Am out of the loop ye.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Deadline reports that the film was projected to make six
- 3:21Speaker 1: point eight million on opening day with its limited time
- 3:25Speaker 1: theatrical run, but as of Thursday, it was up to
- 3:29Speaker 1: eight point three million, edging out scary movie.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Yeah, You're not the only one out of the loop, everybody.
- 3:36Speaker 2: This caught everybody by. Yeah.
- 3:38Speaker 1: It's a surreal psychological comedy animated series that follows a
- 3:42Speaker 1: group of humans trapped in a circus themed virtual world
- 3:45Speaker 1: ruled by an AI ring master.
- 3:47Speaker 2: This is what it looks like here at X ninety
- 3:49Speaker 2: six dot com slash Live.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Each episode of the show sees its ensemble reimagined as
- 3:54Speaker 1: cartoon characters tackling their own baggage while attempting to escape
- 3:57Speaker 1: the absurd existential horror of the chaotic world that they're
- 4:01Speaker 1: trapped in, or they will become smoke monsters.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Oh okay, and is this made by some like twelve
- 4:09Speaker 2: year old it's some It's a lone person. There's a
- 4:13Speaker 2: little bit of baggage here.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Because one of the voice actors has said some racist
- 4:18Speaker 1: things online.
- 4:19Speaker 2: But you know, that's the Internet. That's that's just what
- 4:21Speaker 2: you do. I suppose interesting.
- 4:24Speaker 1: But yeah, so you can watch I think there's like
- 4:28Speaker 1: five seasons of it on YouTube and you can watch it,
- 4:31Speaker 1: and then they're going to have this in theaters just
- 4:34Speaker 1: for a little bit longer. What's it called again, It's
- 4:36Speaker 1: called Amazing Digital Circus, and then it will be released
- 4:39Speaker 1: on YouTube for free eventually. Speaking of animated stuff, I've
- 4:46Speaker 1: got a couple of things here this now, I follow
- 4:49Speaker 1: this on Twitter. It's the official Ghostbusters Twitter account.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Okay, and this is all we know about it.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Can't contain this one any longer. Ghostbusters night Shift an
- 5:01Speaker 1: original animated series coming to Netflix twenty twenty seven. And
- 5:06Speaker 1: that's the logo. That's the new logo for it, right there. Yeah,
- 5:10Speaker 1: so we don't know what it is, who's in it,
- 5:14Speaker 1: what's in it? Twenty twenty seven, that's all we know.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Goes not based on anything you're familiar with.
- 5:19Speaker 1: I think I'm familiar with just Ghostbusters night Shift, all right.
- 5:23Speaker 1: And also on your Netflix, Devil May Cry has been
- 5:28Speaker 1: renewed for a final season. It's an adaptation of the
- 5:32Speaker 1: Capcom video games. Third season will be the show's last,
- 5:36Speaker 1: So if you're a fan of Devil May Cry the
- 5:39Speaker 1: video game, that's all you're going to get done your Netflix.
- 5:44Speaker 2: So there's that.
- 5:45Speaker 1: And finally this, Katie is completely against this. What she says,
- 5:52Speaker 1: we don't need another version of Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
- 5:56Speaker 2: But wait, there's a little bit of a twist to
- 5:59Speaker 2: this one.
- 6:00Speaker 1: It's called Hollow, and Sidney Sweeney is attached to both
- 6:05Speaker 1: star in and produce Hollow. It's a bold reimagining of
- 6:09Speaker 1: the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, directed by Lyndy Anderson Beer
- 6:13Speaker 1: and based on her own original novel. The story will
- 6:17Speaker 1: be told through the perspective of Katrina van Tassel, reframing
- 6:21Speaker 1: one of literature's most iconic heroes. The novel positions Van
- 6:26Speaker 1: Tassel not as a romantic prize but as the central
- 6:30Speaker 1: figure in the dangerous mystery and seductive supernatural love triangle.
- 6:36Speaker 1: The story blends in gothic atmosphere, psychological intrigue, erotic thriller elements,
- 6:41Speaker 1: to a contemporary, high concept reinvention of the classic tale.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I'm here to tell you Sidney Sweeney is not going
- 6:49Speaker 1: to date Ichabod Crane.
- 6:52Speaker 2: No, let's just know dwell, who are we casting?
- 6:56Speaker 1: Though?
- 6:56Speaker 2: Maybe it's hot?
- 6:58Speaker 1: Is it the conceit of iba? Is it?
- 7:00Speaker 2: He's not hot? Yes, that is. He's a school teacher,
- 7:04Speaker 2: he's he's got a big ugly Adams Apple. People make
- 7:08Speaker 2: fun of him. That's the conceit of it. And he's
- 7:11Speaker 2: a jure.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Yeah, Sidney Sweeney is not going to date it about.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Do you remember the Sleepy Hollow TV series barely?
- 7:19Speaker 2: Yeah? Interesting? I think I recall it working bad.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Uh. Somebody on geek Show said that they watched it
- 7:26Speaker 1: and quite liked it.
- 7:27Speaker 2: I don't. I don't recall it though.
- 7:30Speaker 1: It wasn't enough spaceman.
- 7:31Speaker 2: In it for me or something.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Probably anyway, Yeah, kids are texting and that they.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Love I think the Sleepy Hollow that I like best.
- 7:44Speaker 2: That has to be the original, the Disney or the Disney. Yeah,
- 7:47Speaker 2: that was pretty scary. It was when you were a
- 7:49Speaker 2: little kid. It was scared.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Hedlas Horseman is my favorite halloweeny character. Oh you know
- 7:55Speaker 1: they have him in the parade, the Halloween Parade at Disney.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Love it.
- 8:00Speaker 1: It's a real horse
