- 0:00All right, I think we're live. What the hell's were in my eyes?
- 0:05Hi? Everybody, my name is Brian. Welcome to Honeybadger Arcade.
- 0:09I have a very special guest. I'm here with Cabrutus. Is how you
- 0:13say it? Yeah, that's this. Hello, guys, Hello, and
- 0:19good night. No wait, we got a little time, so I'm gonna
- 0:23be talking to him about the well, this whole sweet Baby situation as well
- 0:32as some of the history because this goes way back. I'm pretty sure you
- 0:37know, because you've seen like, you know, like you've been on a
- 0:42number of podcasts. So how how many how many appearances have you made since
- 0:45starting this team group? Oh? Please make it an easier question, because
- 0:51I have idea. I mean, okay, okay, yo, no,
- 0:57no, I was gonna say, okay, let's let's how long has it
- 1:00been up? And how how many how many days off have you had from
- 1:03like appearing on streams? How about that? Oh? Since the first time?
- 1:08You mean yeah, since the first time since you started the steam group.
- 1:12Okay, okay, no, I mean I started the seam group but
- 1:15nobody, nobody, no, for yeah, I don't know, almost a
- 1:22month. But then when things started escalating. This is where I started out,
- 1:26going to podcasts and doing interviews. So I would say ten to twelve
- 1:34days something like this, I am. I mean, I think I got
- 1:38like one or two days without you know, showing up in a podcasts are
- 1:42doing an interview. I just I mean, I was just in for a
- 1:46Brazilian guy. You though we were doing an interview. You know, I
- 1:49was explaining to everybody, what what is what is this all about? Because
- 1:55this is starting slowly but starting to show up in Brazilian news, you know,
- 2:01yes, wow, Okay, so you're you live in Brazil, untunate
- 2:08unfortunately, Well what I mean, I I okay, I don't want to
- 2:13get too political, but I do know about stuff that's been going on in
- 2:15Brazil. My name is Brian. I'm from Puerto Rico. Oh so yeah,
- 2:23so so I noticed that Latinos Latinos, we don't we don't like appreciate
- 2:29like all this woke ship. I noticed that. I don't know if you
- 2:30notice that. Yes, I know, it's pretty much like yeah, yeah,
- 2:37yeah anyway, So so now it's in the news, huh, in
- 2:40the local news. Yeah, I Brazilian news a little bit. Yeah.
- 2:46When I say news please. I mean, it's not the big media,
- 2:49you know, like the big media. It's just big gas YouTube channels and
- 2:55video game media, you know, this kind of stuff. But it's still
- 2:59it's just some of you. No it's not. I mean, it's not
- 3:01everybody far for it. Yeah, no, of course not. But still
- 3:07I think this is meaningful. So yes, yes it is. Yeah.
- 3:12Yeah. So so I guess why did you do this? Why did you
- 3:17create a Steam group? Oh yeah, that's a good question. Yeah,
- 3:23I mean, I I not. I mean I was already a follower of
- 3:29the novel creator, and I noticed that lots of people were really really upset
- 3:36about the Sustisfuent game, you know, and what that game did with the
- 3:39superheroes history, especially Batman, you know. So I thought to myself,
- 3:49imagine if someone created a creator, that a creator creator that did the same
- 3:55thing that this the novel game's creator does, but for games that has any
- 4:01kind of movement with sweet Baby Ink. And then I just went to the
- 4:06paint, made the first lovego in like three minutes, and created the group
- 4:12and ask a friend of mime to join it so it wouldn't be the only
- 4:15one in it, you know. Yeah, and yeah, what is a
- 4:20Steam curator group? What is that? It's it's a kind of uh,
- 4:26it's kind of a page that you can follow, you know, like any
- 4:30social social media page, but it is going to let's say, you're gonna
- 4:34buy a game on the Steam Store, and if I follow that creator,
- 4:40you will see if that curator says something about the game that you are currently
- 4:45looking in the in the Sea Star page, the creator will. I mean,
- 4:49it is going to show what the creator says about the game. So,
- 4:54for example, in the case of my curator, I just tell people,
- 4:58hey, this game has involvement with Sweet Baby, here's the league with
- 5:02the proof, and that's it. I don't say anything else. Yeah.
- 5:09Yeah, but but it was drawing attention from a lot of people, and
- 5:15apparently someone from Sweet Baby came or or at least someone who's friends with them
- 5:20or something. They were not happy about the fact that you created this page.
- 5:26Yeah, it was actually an employee, you know, a Sweet Baby
- 5:30employee who definitely were not happy with the page and tried to take it down
- 5:38by force. Let's say, just ask his followers to report mass report the
- 5:46page and get not only the page but also my personal Steam profile with more
- 5:53than seven hundred GameSpot almost fifty years. And let me tell yourself, a
- 5:58man, games are it's basically in Brazil though, I say, yeah,
- 6:03you're like, your economy isn't doing so well right now, is it?
- 6:09Yes? Yes, each clemy four. Just just so guys can know currently
- 6:15our currency is worth. I mean, eight dollars is worth five Brazil real,
- 6:19so we pay more or less five times the pricing guys pay you guys
- 6:26pay up there. Yeah, I mean it's uh, I mean he has
- 6:32better prices than PlayStation and Xbox, Ningtato definitely, Ningtailo is divorced than all
- 6:40in terms of prices in Brazil, but still are it isn't ship though,
- 6:45it isn't It's not no, no, of course yeah that And I mean
- 6:49I live in the US, and I think games, you know, they
- 6:53used to be really expensive. I remember in the eighties, uh, you
- 6:58know, seventy dollars for a into Super Nintendo game was normal. But if
- 7:03you're going to be spending this much money on games, then you want to
- 7:06you don't want to end up with like a ship game like you know what
- 7:10I mean? Yeah, you you wanted to be worth your money, so
- 7:14then uh, what is the thing about the Suicide Squad. This seems to
- 7:20be like the big, big, big deal. So there were other games
- 7:24before, like forespoken, you know that people were not like, you know,
- 7:29it did it's no, no, sorry, sorry to intro. I
- 7:35think it is because I think this is important. Okay, okay, Well
- 7:40again, for didn't have any favorite Sweet Baby no I know, but but
- 7:45it was well okay, okay, but I was saying that it was just
- 7:47kind of an ugly game that didn't sell, so not necessarily Sweet Baby,
- 7:54but rather the trends. Yes, yes, it was badly written and stuff
- 7:59like that. Yeah, yes, exactly. Yeah. So anyway, but
- 8:05there were other games that what I'm saying is there were other games that failed
- 8:07in the past, like, for example, Gotham Knights was not developed by
- 8:11rock Steady, and it did not do well, but it didn't create that
- 8:16it didn't have the big controversy. People were just like, it just didn't
- 8:20They didn't like the game, it didn't sell. Like the Marvel Avengers game
- 8:24was another one, you know, made by Squaresoft or square Enix. It
- 8:28was kind of ugly, it wasn't very good, you know, it was
- 8:31very repetitive. From what I heard nobody played it and it just didn't do
- 8:35well. But when this game comes out and it fails for some reason,
- 8:39this time, it's a big problem, you know what I mean With like
- 8:41Suicide Squad, it's like a big there's a big controversy. When normally,
- 8:46if a game didn't sell because it was bad or because it was a problem,
- 8:50nobody would complain. But this is a special case. So what do
- 8:54you why do you think that is? I think that happened with Suicideiqua because
- 8:58I mean, it's like tell it's like I told other people where I you
- 9:03know, where I interviewed, I was interviewed with. I think it if
- 9:07it if it if it wasn't because of sup Baby involvement of Suicide Squad,
- 9:15people would just look at the game and think, oh, hey, I
- 9:18mean it's a bad game, Okay, let's just move on. But what
- 9:24they like I told you, like I told earlier, what they did with
- 9:26what they did with the superheroes in those in that game, especially with Batman,
- 9:33it is I mean, it was that really made people eight on the
- 9:35game, you know, because it's so disrespectful with the characters, and lots
- 9:39of people love those characters. You know, and I think if it wasn't
- 9:45because of sup Baby, Suicide Squad would just be Okay, it's a bad
- 9:48game, it's a flop game. Let's just move on, you know.
- 9:50But no, since they did what they did, people, hey started taking
- 9:56notes on this and that that very all I have today. Right, So
- 10:01it wasn't just the bugs or the graphics, it was it was it was
- 10:07the writing. It was like the choices they made with the narrative. The
- 10:11writing. The writing definitely is what made people hate the game. It was
- 10:16the writing, I would say, in my opinion, No, I think
- 10:20you're right, I think And so that means that this is the reason why.
- 10:24Because there's a lot of articles coming out now and they're all saying,
- 10:28you know, like Sweet Baby is not that they don't develop games, blah
- 10:31blah blah. They they assist in the writing. But anyone who knows knows
- 10:35that if they they're they're credited with some of the biggest decisions. So yeah,
- 10:39it is about the story thing. Now, us, do you think
- 10:46what about what kind of games? Because how old are you? Let me
- 10:50ask you that first. Yeah, I am not okay, I am thirty
- 10:54plus, but I'm not forty you know, okay, so in between thirty
- 10:58and forty, that's okay. So I'm asking because one of the so the
- 11:03media has been writing about this. I predicted this, and I have some
- 11:07videos on this channel which I've been sort of repurposing as a gaming channel before
- 11:13the sweet Baby thing came out. But on the other channel that I've been
- 11:18working on for more than ten years, I've been talking about how you know
- 11:22this was going to be an issue. I mean, not specifically suicide squard
- 11:26because I had no idea, but this kind of like ideological virus was going
- 11:33to spread to our culture through the culture, and I've been trying to warn
- 11:37people about it for a while, and I noticed that some of the more
- 11:41and more people are taking note of this kind of thing. So yes,
- 11:45I yeah, and there and they're more like ten years ago. You probably
- 11:50heard of this by now, you've you've heard a gamer gate definitely, yes,
- 11:56yes, yes, yes, of course, yes. Were you were?
- 12:00Are you like aware of it when it was happening or is this something
- 12:03you learned about after as a result of this. I wasn't away at the
- 12:07time because I was no, yeah, yeah, and I had to you
- 12:16know, I had to worry about lots of stuff. For example, my
- 12:18college, you know, my yeah, my work, and I had a
- 12:24girlfriend at the time and all this. I already was a gamer, but
- 12:31not that much hardcore because I simply didn't have that much time to put on
- 12:35gaming, you know, so I couldn't keep up with the news. I
- 12:41didn't care if the news malist. I just say, hey, yeah,
- 12:43that looks like a cool game. Let me play you on my Xbox R
- 12:48or my PC. And that's it. And I just no, just I
- 12:50didn't care, you know. No, of course that's what most of us,
- 12:54like most people, they just want to be left alone, right,
- 13:00Yeah, we just just some good games, maybe just some good games without
- 13:03games that don't try to re educate us. And that's it, bro,
- 13:07Yeah, exactly. We'll want to be able to talk with our friends about
- 13:09the games and have fun together and that's it, man. Yeah, absolutely,
- 13:15so yeah, I mean I know that you probably I'm not going to
- 13:18go into the details on gamer game, but I will. All I will
- 13:22say is that, uh, this we're doing that what's happening right now is
- 13:26downstream from that. Like it was, it was inevitable and you and I
- 13:30would say to people who are watching. In case you don't like agree with
- 13:33me or whatever, you can let me know in the comments. But I
- 13:35think it was inevitable they were going to end up in this place. And
- 13:39you can see it because it was you know, getting into all of our
- 13:43other cultural hobbies or other interests. It's in gaming, it's in movies,
- 13:48it's in TV, it's in you know, animation, it's everywhere, and
- 13:52and it's it's not an issue of say, I don't know, like the
- 14:01wrong people are working there, Like I don't want anyone to lose their job,
- 14:05but what I do want is for people to focus on what is important,
- 14:09and that is satisfying the audience. Right. Oh, comic books too,
- 14:13It was actually going on in combooks like a long term every kind of
- 14:16entertainment, yeah, every form of entertainment, but more specifically the forms of
- 14:20entertainment that are typically occupied by men, because like you know, like you
- 14:26know what I mean, Like not that women couldn't do it, but I'm
- 14:28saying like if the audience was mostly men, that was what was because men
- 14:33tend to spend more of their more money on it, more of their energy,
- 14:39They get more enthusiastic, they form clubs, you know, all this
- 14:43sort of stuff, and these people couldn't stand that men were happy doing something
- 14:48without them. I guess I don't know, but this is the way it
- 14:50goes. So yeah, that like this, I mean, they don't say
- 14:54anything about I mean, let's say a group of men starts doing you start
- 14:58doing something, they don't care untie, it makes the top shots, you
- 15:05know, until it becomes right, it starts printing money until everybody starts to
- 15:11pay attention. And then when that happens, they say, hey, you
- 15:16should let us in. But why didn't you guys care about it in the
- 15:20beginning, Like why why didn't you guys say anything about it during the beginning.
- 15:26It's that's really what we see. For example, in football soccer,
- 15:31we will never care about soccer and female soccer for example, but not since
- 15:37the players they earn toos and tons of money and soccer is pretty much the
- 15:41most popular thing in the whole world. I would say, I mean,
- 15:46I'm saying, okay, so I know about Yeah, of course I do
- 15:52about them, wrong. I also love American American football too. They played
- 15:56for a few years, but anyway, yeah, so I mean, this
- 16:00is why they started taking notes at soccer and said, hey, we want
- 16:07to be part of it after decades and decades of not caring about it.
- 16:14You know, just because it is popular you can become rich by doing it.
- 16:18So it is the same thing with pretty much every entertainment niche let's say
- 16:23niche. Is that even the English word niche? Yes? Niche niche niche
- 16:30yes, n yeah. Yeah. Since those things become big and start no
- 16:37drown the attention and highlights and money, then they say, okay, now
- 16:41we want to be part of it. But what did you do to help
- 16:45this get to this point? Nothing, and what you are doing right now
- 16:52is actually helping it lose the position it has conquurreed throughout the last years.
- 16:59So it is it is what it is at all. Yeah, that's absolutely
- 17:03true. It's hurting. It's hurting things. You're right, it's devaluing it.
- 17:08Yes, so I've been so yeah I didn't. There's a couple of
- 17:15positive things to come out of this. So I've been involved with gamer again
- 17:18since it started back in twenty fourteen. There was a really great guy who
- 17:25made a documentary called Airplay. Would I would recommend you watch it so you
- 17:29can see the whole history at well, you know, whenever at your leisure,
- 17:32you can watch it for free. I've actually gone through the whole movie
- 17:34on my YouTube channel, so you can like subscribe to this channel. I
- 17:37appreciate that and then check it out. But it basically like goes through exhausted
- 17:42detail on everything that happened in from twenty fourteen to like twenty seventeen, and
- 17:49I think that you can see the connective tissues from what happened then to what
- 17:55is going on now and how A lot of the people that we're dealing with
- 17:59today, people who used to just sort of, you know, criticize our
- 18:03hobbies from the sidelines. They call it sexist or racist or regress it or
- 18:10whatever. But they were doing it from like they're you know, from far
- 18:14away. They were just sort of like pointing and saying, oh that that
- 18:17right there is is bad, that's regressive, whatever. But now they're actually
- 18:21involved in developing the games. Now they're like, you know, putting applying
- 18:26muscle to actual game devs to say, look, you need to change this,
- 18:30you know, terrify you, right, yeah, otherwise we'll terrify you
- 18:36exactly. Otherwise we'll call you racist and sexist. I mean, you know.
- 18:40You probably know about Anita Sarkisian. Oh yeah, I don't think she's
- 18:45like the problem. I think she's a symptom. But she came after CD
- 18:49Project Read. I don't know if I mean they did kind of ca to
- 18:53that. I think there's a video out there of CD Project Read doing that
- 18:56with the Witcher. There was stuff in the Witcher that was messed up.
- 19:00Yes, I saw, I saw it. I saw yeah, Yeah,
- 19:03so you saw it. Did you know this though? Did you know?
- 19:07This is a very new article, but you might know about it already.
- 19:11This is from that park Place and it says that the headline is Sweet Baby,
- 19:15Inc. CEO kimber Lair launches new cancel campaign uses game developer journalist Bryant
- 19:22Francis to get Sweet Baby Inc. Detected shut down? Are you aware of
- 19:26that? No? Is this news to you? This came out today?
- 19:30Yep. I'm gonna I'm gonna send you a link and I'm going to read
- 19:34through it on the stream here. I just I'm just putting it through there.
- 19:38You go. Oh yeah, John F. Trent, who writes for
- 19:45The park Place or That park Place. I've had John Trent on my show
- 19:48before. What he used to write for Bounding into Comics. I know people
- 19:53that have been talking around this stuff for a while, John delar Rose,
- 19:56who writes for Fandom Pulse, which by the way, I think you guys
- 19:59can check out Fantom Polls and that park Place and Bundy in the comics like
- 20:03support as much alternate media as possible. This is like a part of the
- 20:07success here. And I will also try to send people two really great channels
- 20:12that may they may not necessarily be talking about video games, but they will
- 20:15be talking about cultural things that are related enough that you can probably get something
- 20:21out of it. So are you aware of this article? I'll maybe this
- 20:23will be good for you to know. Not at all. I mean I
- 20:29remember I've saw an article of I think it was game gamer Dev gamer Dev,
- 20:34Yeah, something like this, and I didn't read it, not yet,
- 20:40but I know that it mentions that apparently the heads of Baby are in
- 20:45talks with all just see if they can do something to my creator. Yep,
- 20:49they're trying to get Yeah, they're trying to go over. This is
- 20:52what they always do, guys, is what they always do. They go
- 20:56If they can't get you to do it with pressure, they go over for
- 21:00you. To someone who has power, don't Ship then to do it.
- 21:06No, it's okay, it's okay, Like they're gonna do that because again
- 21:08they want they're gonna use top down power. They always use top down power
- 21:14because they're communist authoritarians and they're gonna try and and get you removed. So
- 21:18Valve is one of the companies that are is on their list of people they
- 21:22work with. So they're gonna try and get Valve to shut you down.
- 21:26And that's what they're doing. They go right to the top, and I
- 21:27think they can do it. Discord is also pretty paused as well. So
- 21:32I don't know if your discord server has gotten any more trouble from before.
- 21:36I think there was a warning or something right now right now, No,
- 21:40But I I mean we want to know, we want to know. I
- 21:42think I don't think that the Discord sert is gonna last long. I just
- 21:47I don't think so. Yeah, I mean, I don't trust we are
- 21:52not doing we are not doing anything wrong. It is well moderated. I
- 21:56mean, I don't understand ship about discord moderating. You know, it's funny
- 22:00who did it to me? But he tells me everything is fine. Well,
- 22:04moderating stuff. Problem is, I'm not sure if Discord staff actually cares
- 22:12about it. You know, maybe they just want to take take us down
- 22:17because I don't know because baby is asking day it is it something that can
- 22:26can can come from from the top, like you mentioned it, I don't
- 22:32know, so I don't trust the Discord. I wouldn't. No, well,
- 22:37if something happens to your Discord server, what would you just open something
- 22:41else? Like? There are plenty of other like local Yah. I ain't
- 22:49planning on a website. I don't think I would be opening another Discord server.
- 22:53Bro. It's just too much dream I get stated every every time someone
- 23:00is unsatisfied with you, and I had no idea why. I had like
- 23:07two moderators really angry at me because I don't know, and then they just
- 23:14started, you know, like the lating surf scream with the server. I
- 23:18had to find any moderator and it's too stressful. And right now I'm dealing
- 23:23with so much different stuff at the same time, high volumes of stuff.
- 23:29You know, I cannot be. I cannot stop and pay attention to disc
- 23:34I would start a new Discord. I mean I would probably I would say,
- 23:38hey, if you want to create a discord for this baby detected.
- 23:44Go ahead, but I'm not anymore. I'm not. I mean, this
- 23:48one for me has always being about, Hey, I have this friend I
- 23:52added here so we can trade bassadly, we can schedule to play together and
- 23:57all my friend zone server and play some game together, and that's it.
- 24:03I never used discord as a place to go, you know, when I
- 24:07want to get informed or when I want to get to meet some people.
- 24:11He simply has never been like this for me. Yeah, I get it
- 24:18more. I just don't know, no, bro, I mean it's well,
- 24:23I'm sorry that so I'm sorry that it's like really stressful. You Your
- 24:27discord has like a lot of people in it. It's like right now,
- 24:34yeah, like like in our in my discord, I don't run. We
- 24:38have mods all that you know, we have over Yeah, we have it's
- 24:44almost seven thousand. We have ship, yes, we have. We had
- 24:51more than seven thousand. Yeah. Lots of people got bad because they were
- 24:56bad actors, you know. Yeah. So yeah, I mean I hope
- 25:00that this word stays there. I don't want it to get down, but
- 25:03if it gets down, I'm sorry, guys. I'm not sorry. On
- 25:07New service. Just too much drama, bro, I don't want to deal
- 25:10with it. But again, yeah, well you know, you get you
- 25:14never know when you're gonna get swept into something much bigger than you expected.
- 25:18And it's okay. I think I'll take some comments from the chat and questions,
- 25:22so I can take questions that my my channel is still like less than
- 25:27whatever, five hundred, but if I can get to five hundred subs,
- 25:32that'd be really awesome anyway, So I can take some questions for you guys.
- 25:37I think let me see what people are saying. I'll read some for
- 25:40you guys. So I've been burgled says you're doing good, Cabrutas. I'm
- 25:45sure it's daunting, but so far, so good. Loving the metal tracks
- 25:48on your channel. You you put some heavy metal stuff on your channel.
- 25:52Huh yeah, I had, okay, go ahead, Oh okay, sorry,
- 25:59yeah I had. I was part of a metal band back in two
- 26:02thousand, fourteen fifteen, Yeah, and we had these records, but it
- 26:07never, you know, I mean I never. It was just collecting the
- 26:11way so of myself. Well maybe, I mean I could show to the
- 26:15guys in the live stream. So I played some of the musicals on the
- 26:19live stream, people just went, hey, you should put it, please
- 26:25put this in your chain, or we want to listen to Okay. So
- 26:27I just went there and I separated the tracks and I added lyrics to the
- 26:33people, like we have a present a party song, so I added lyrics
- 26:37and English lyrics, so people can't understand what the musk is, what the
- 26:41song is about. And yeah, I was the main composer when I joined
- 26:45the band. We had pretty much I mean, we had those songs perfently
- 26:49finishing that composition. But I did help with some lyrics part and with some
- 26:56best parts best because I was the best player, you know, beast and
- 26:59back in calls and yeah, so there there it is, I mean for
- 27:03people to enjoy. We never got to release this is a It's part five
- 27:07for example, we never had whatever we did. We did play some shows.
- 27:12But the band is it something? Is it like a passion of yours?
- 27:18Yes? On the metalhead? What do you know it is? Yeah?
- 27:22Of course, yeah, I know it's great. What Let me ask
- 27:25you what what you play? Instrument? Instruments? Yeah, not about the
- 27:33game later bass okay, okay? And is that is that? Is that
- 27:38the only instrument you like or are you like look at a branch out.
- 27:42Yeah, I mean, you know what, I'm not very good at this.
- 27:47I just know how to play songs. I just want I just want
- 27:49metal, but I like playing metal, so I just yeah. Of course,
- 27:53we learned how to play the music on the instrument and I played them
- 27:56to ask me, hey, are you a musician? Hell no, I
- 28:00never studied music. If you asked me to do, Hey, dude,
- 28:03I don't know mashe or anything. I don't know what you're you talking about,
- 28:07bro. I just you know, I just learned how to play songs
- 28:10and I play them, and that's what I do. The same with the
- 28:12guitar. Maybe I did do the same with the Trolls Brights the bands the
- 28:15bass because the band was in need of a bass player. So mm hmm
- 28:22that's me. I'm just okay, let me learn it. So I bought
- 28:25aprett ship bass. I just okay. I learned, let's play together,
- 28:29let's record stuff like I mean those I mean in those records, I was
- 28:33playing there and I did the bat vocals amation and that's it, you know.
- 28:37Yeah, not bass is cool, man. I mean I'm learning guitar
- 28:41right now. It's but I love I love music. I mean, so
- 28:47a little bit about me really quick. I'm an artist mostly I do cartoons.
- 28:52One of the things that drew me into Gamergate originally was the artwork,
- 28:56because there was this character Vivian James, who I'm that's my profile picture and
- 29:03I and I really dug it and I made artwork for the podcast that we
- 29:07did, and I always I drew lots of pictures of Vivian James. They're
- 29:10probably all over the internet right now. And and I'm also interested. I
- 29:15love music. I listened to I guess a lot of like older metal stuff,
- 29:19you know, like Iron Maiden dancing like yeah, and I like,
- 29:26you know, and had tricks and what was that I like Middle or Judas
- 29:33Prayse Bro Yes, Mega Death Yeah yeah. When I was in high school,
- 29:38I was like a weird kid that hung out with the two head bangers.
- 29:42Ah yeah, yeah that's cool. Thank you Empty Soul and soum Fata
- 29:48for the subscriptions. Really appreciate it. So somebody asked in the chat.
- 29:56Uh, somebody said, hey, I'm I'm on the Discord channel. It's
- 30:00assume fast faster. Hey, I'm on the Discord channel. I think you
- 30:03should make a team speak channel. It's old school and the creators are in
- 30:07Sweden and could care less what you do on your own private server you're running.
- 30:12I mean, if you if you didn't want to use it to keep
- 30:15track of news and stuff, I don't know if team speak can be good
- 30:18for that. But well, I get what I mean. People want a
- 30:23place to hang out. You know, people talk about stuff, right,
- 30:29yeah, talk about stuff. And since they are all partying this, let's
- 30:33say this community that I have created, they want a place so they can
- 30:37talk with each other, to meet people I don't know, to just talk
- 30:42about it and have some friends to play together. This kind of stuff.
- 30:47I get that people want it, and I think it's perfectly finding wanting this
- 30:52kind of stuff, But I don't I mean, if the discord sever gets
- 30:56now, I'm not gonna create you know you anywhere anywhere because because I mean,
- 31:03I won't be able to pay attention to each and I won't be able
- 31:07to take good care of you. No. I have the Twitter, YouTube
- 31:11channel, the website that I'm planning on building. You know, I'm probably
- 31:14gonna have to find someone who can walk with that. Those kinds of technologies
- 31:18to build a website for me. It's just too much for a single person.
- 31:22I don't have a staff, I don't have an agent who's taking care
- 31:25of you know, I have nothing. It's me, just you and myself
- 31:30and God, you know, me and God and myself. No, so
- 31:33I'm sorry, guys. I mean, maybe if I can't tell a friend
- 31:40of my hey, go ahead and create this this server with my blessing.
- 31:47But I'm not gonna joy. I'm sorry, guys, I'm not gonna joy.
- 31:51But hey, there's the place for you guys to talk about it in
- 31:52case you guys want to, or maybe if I join. I'm just I'm
- 31:56just gonna be a average neighbor and that's it because I bro too much.
- 32:04Yeah, no, no, I know. I'm in a couple of Discord
- 32:07groups, and what one I would suggest maybe maybe everybody can just move.
- 32:13If you want to be in a Discord group that has a similar sort of
- 32:15like view of worldview and mission, you could join our Discord group, or
- 32:22better yet, you can join Kyell. He has a he has a Discord
- 32:25group. You know, Kyelle is Kyelle is? I mean, yeah,
- 32:29I think he's the first guy to start talking about it. Actually, yes,
- 32:34he was one of the first. Yes, he was one of the
- 32:36first. He created a Discord server. So and I mean like it is
- 32:42uh, you know, hoppin' so y'all can do I'm in there. I'm
- 32:45in the Kyle server and yours. So you guys could go in there and
- 32:49then like you don't have to do any of that work and you can just
- 32:52do what you want to do, which I assume is just you know,
- 32:55are you are you like taking like this sweet sweet baby in detect to think?
- 33:00Do people bring you other news that you can add more games to the
- 33:05list all the time, all the time, all the time. They do
- 33:09it all the time. They send me messages to throw to eater and the
- 33:15scored you know, and they own steam Man. They reached me and they
- 33:17say, hey, bro, shoot tech on this company, this game.
- 33:23Look at this company. It is pretty much like sweet Baby, but I
- 33:27mean another name and this is that And I just studied, bro. Mean,
- 33:31I eat too much for me alone to keep track, you know,
- 33:36I for example, that that's why I build the website, you know,
- 33:40either website. I'm plenty on talk every single one of the of those companies
- 33:45that we know about. Don't you be honest again, we feel I'm not
- 33:50sure when I will get the website ready because hys huge amounts of fork that
- 33:58would have to put on it and interviews like this for example. Yeah,
- 34:05I'm not going to keep you for too much longer, but I can help
- 34:07you out with some things, maybe make some suggestions. Maybe people might be
- 34:14willing to help you, like raise a little money so you can hire someone
- 34:20to set up a website, right, and then you don't have to be
- 34:22involved, and basically can just be a place where people all go and they
- 34:27can just like add to a list and put in you know, like this
- 34:30game and whatever and and just put it there and then it would be hands
- 34:35off for you, right. But it all because what people want, I
- 34:37think in your community, and like not just your community, but all over.
- 34:42Like I think that there is a massive awakening of gamers and they're like
- 34:47so sick of this shit, right, and they're seeing that other people are
- 34:52saying the same thing, and they're like, oh man, I'm not crazy.
- 34:55So what I think they want is, yeah, I'm not alone.
- 34:59Exactly what they want is a place where everyone is talking about this. But
- 35:04you shouldn't have to do that on your own. So maybe there is,
- 35:07Like maybe you, I don't know if your followers would help you, but
- 35:10I bet they would. What do you guys think? Like the like the
- 35:15stream by the way, really appreciate it, and we will because I just,
- 35:20you know what, I don't care if people don't know my name.
- 35:22I don't care if they don't know my face. I just want to get
- 35:24the message out because as an artist myself, I care a lot about the
- 35:29beautiful, and I think that these people they're all about the ugly. They're
- 35:32just profane and and they're not nice people, Like they're okay with destroying people's
- 35:37lives, they're okay with ruining people's reputation. So I want to help out,
- 35:43you know, in whatever way I can. So you know, also
- 35:46you spoke to it, dude, you're a follower of another guy, Moogan
- 35:51Something. I'm sorry, you know what we're talking about. Yeah, Mogin
- 35:54Lord, Yes, Mogan Lord. Yeah, Yeah, he's that he that
- 36:00you were. You told him about what was going on, And I really
- 36:04like what Mogan Lore had to say because it's very close to what I have
- 36:07been saying, even though nobody knows what the hell I am. And so
- 36:10if you can like put me in touch with him. I'd be really appreciative,
- 36:14like just the email or something, you know, give him a shout
- 36:15out because I like to have money. I didn't. I didn't talk to
- 36:19the guy. I didn't talk to the guy. That's okay, that's all
- 36:22right. I mean, I know, it's okay. I just just like
- 36:25to make things clear. Yeah, yeah, it's fine. When when this
- 36:30when the when the steam stuff was starting to up, I mean, when
- 36:36I first saw the reddit post, I have tagged him all my posts on
- 36:40Twitter and he answered. He's a guy that I've been following for more than
- 36:46a year or almost a year, but I never talked to him like Sydney
- 36:52and messy and whenever traded the message. It was all about Twitter interactions you
- 36:57know, of course watching his videos. So I'm sorry, but I mean
- 37:01I can't. No, No, it's okay because I myself don't have thought
- 37:07of me let's say, you know, but I mean I'm a big film
- 37:08he's content is I think he's a great content creature creator. Well he dropped
- 37:14you on a video he did recently, so oh yeah, so I was
- 37:16watching it, yeah so yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah,
- 37:20I mean like like I told you we had those Twitter interactions even way
- 37:24before I became this rock star. Let's say, right, yeah, I
- 37:30mean just just kidding it. By the way, No, no, no,
- 37:32I think I think it's fine, roll with it, with it.
- 37:36You are a rock star, come about now, the unsung hero of the
- 37:39Internet of gaming. Right now, you're like the guy. So but it's
- 37:43okay, go ahead. You're humble. I get it, you're humble.
- 37:45Yeah, just call my ironically, but so people call un ironically. Way,
- 37:52but anyway, so yeah, that's I mean, I was I fall
- 37:54I think that he makes great content. He's a great guy. Uh,
- 37:59he's he's pretty. She has a pretty solid mind such that I would say,
- 38:06and I agree with much a lot of things that he mentions in his
- 38:10channel. So this is and I was already I was aware that this kind
- 38:17of subject would be something that could interest him. So this is why I
- 38:22tried to reach to make him pay attention on me when I was pretty much
- 38:28nobody. I tried to, hey, look at this, this can be
- 38:30big. That was me, like hat was over to him and say,
- 38:36bro, you're gonna talk about it because this can be big. And given
- 38:39the story to do it and he I mean he didn't do at the time
- 38:44because he was thinking, I mean, nobody paying attention. Okay, it's
- 38:46not it wasn't pretty much nobody, okay. So but he made a brave
- 38:52about it, like the video. He's he's pretty cool. I'm glad.
- 38:57I'm glad I have a guy like him. So party what I'm doing,
- 39:01it really means means a lot to be Yeah, yeah, it does.
- 39:07And you know, in a way, since you do play bass in a
- 39:08band, you are a rock star. So let me okay, let me
- 39:12ask you a couple more, a couple more questions. I know you you're
- 39:15really tired, you want to get to bed. I just want to say,
- 39:17first of all, I really really appreciate you taking the time to come
- 39:21on my channel to talk to me. I I care so much about this,
- 39:25this issue of creative freedom and excellent art and great stories. You know,
- 39:32we're really in need of that in our culture. It's it's so bad
- 39:36right now. So I'm just I'm really glad that you're doing this, and
- 39:39I really appreciate you coming on. But I want to ask you what games
- 39:44are you like? What game are you most either into right now or excited
- 39:51for? That you know you're hoping isn't going to be tainted or you're pretty
- 39:55sure it won't be. Oh that's a goo question. Okay, So right
- 40:04now I'm not playing anything because I simply don't have the time anymore. Though
- 40:07it's just easy stuff for existing stuff. But I was really into held Evers
- 40:14too. Oh yeah too, Yeah. I like those Bace Marine fings.
- 40:21You like the shooting, that's why you got the do the doom guy master
- 40:25chief noose. These are my kind of stuff. But I really do like
- 40:30Japanese stuff a lot, for example, g RPGs. I'm a huge fan
- 40:34of the RPGs. So I was into helld Evers two and greend Blue fans
- 40:38they were linked to. Yeah, hearing good things about that Grand Blue Fantasy.
- 40:43It's it's a great game. You should give it a shot. It's
- 40:45a good game. And for this year, what I am most excited about
- 40:51is the Space Marine too, defintely Space Marines. Oh yeah, me too.
- 40:54I got a huge you know if if you I mean, I know
- 41:00a lot of people are going to make this offer, but I think Space
- 41:05Marine two is going to be three player co op, right, I think
- 41:07that's what I heard last. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yeah.
- 41:13Well if you ever want to do like a thing, you know,
- 41:15just play the game. No politics, no bullshit, just play the game
- 41:19together. Just you know, Yes, I can do that. I would
- 41:22be willing. I got like post mods and everything that make me sound like
- 41:24a space marine. Oh bro, that's that's that's I mean road play,
- 41:30right bro, that's yeah. I do a little rope, but I do
- 41:32it when we play Hell Divers, I start shouting like a drill sergeant.
- 41:37That's amazing, that's amazing. It's fun. It's fun. Yeah, to
- 41:40talk about Japanese stuff. I am really lunky forward into that. She may
- 41:46get me taste, a five board that they're gonna make for Steam and also
- 41:51Xbox and PlayStation the Vengers no Vegers. She may get me team saying five
- 41:54anges. I just I just you know, I just got to know that
- 42:00that character isn't a woman, So I was shocked with a bit and I
- 42:05knew that that character is actually a man. But I mean it's Japanese stuff,
- 42:08so I'm not surprised at all. It's you. I'm looking forward to
- 42:14this game. It's gonna be by the first She mai get me Tasty.
- 42:19I played, and yeah, I think that's for Japanese stuff. I mean,
- 42:23right now, I think this is what I'm really looking forward to.
- 42:27I mean probably we We're gonna have more games on us by the end of
- 42:30the year, of course, but right now those are the two games I
- 42:36I'm really looking looking forward all you know. Yeah, oh that no,
- 42:42that sounds that sounds good. I'm mostly excited for well, I don't know.
- 42:45I was really interested in Dragon's Dogma two and elden Ring the Shadow of
- 42:52the Tree because I love Soul's games. I love those games. And I'm
- 42:57also really I love I love those games, bro. I mean, I
- 43:00the only one I didn't finish was so yeah, it's the only one to
- 43:07finish because I didn't have a PlayStation three at the time. I have now.
- 43:10I have never been a PlayStation guy, to be honest, but I
- 43:14mean this is a thing that I would definitely want to I wanna try someday.
- 43:17Yeah, I used to be a PlayStation guy. But like you know,
- 43:21Sony, there have been they've been kind of like, you know,
- 43:24pro censorship lately. But I've been playing on PC mainly, Like the last
- 43:30couple place to go it is the place to be. It is a place
- 43:34to be. Guys, if I listen to this through Xbox, threw PlayStation
- 43:38goo, Steam, keep your PC gamer, if your tea accout, and
- 43:43keep your Nintendo Switch for some exclusive ship. And that's it you all said,
- 43:46Bro, believe me. Yeah that's right. Whatever, it's amazing.
- 43:52Yeah. Do you have Steam Deck? Is that any good? What do
- 43:53you guys think? Yeah? Really manly, because I'm thinking about getting one
- 43:58from my wife. Do it. Man, It's the best calls I ever.
- 44:01I mean, bro, it's the best console ever in my opinion.
- 44:05What was that down that you said? I'm sorry I missed that because somebody
- 44:08subscribed and made a noise. Oh I just I just I just that.
- 44:15Yeah, I just said that it is the best console I ever had.
- 44:20It's amazing. Can you get up to a TV? Yes, just exactly
- 44:25like any other console or like the switch? Right, yes, yes,
- 44:30yes you can. All right, you can put emulators all this kind of
- 44:34stuff that, Bro, it's you don't have to pay for all I play
- 44:37for cloud saves, you buy the game shoes when everyone played for or hey,
- 44:43this game all I play on my PC because he has more raw power
- 44:45to run the game better. You just have to buy the game once.
- 44:49Bro It's it's priceless. I mean, it's the best gaming device in terms
- 44:54of consoles in my opinion, I have ever seen my life. It's it's
- 45:01amazing. Just get you soon, I've talked about, just get one.
- 45:06All right, well, thank you, thank you. Yeah, I'll take
- 45:08that recommendation. I'm gonna look into it and uh if I can't get one
- 45:13for Lindsey and then use it myself sometimes. All right, all right,
- 45:17but anyway, I don't want to take up any more of your time.
- 45:21I know that you're really tired. You've been doing so much. But thanks
- 45:23again for coming. Let me just do a quick look at the chat to
- 45:27see if there's any more quick comments from anybody. I can't I can't answer.
- 45:31I can't answer a couple more or less questions. If people still head
- 45:35yeah, yeah, that's what I'm looking to see. I've been Burtle says,
- 45:38Wait, that's you, broh. Yeah, but if you're talking about
- 45:43me, that's not me. It's I'm playing with the model, but it's
- 45:47not. I don't identify as Vivian James, so don't worry about it.
- 45:52Not pause, it's just for fun. Let me see uh it produce has
- 45:59been a community, although like all communities we have our trolls. The power
- 46:04of God and anime is on your side. Let me see. I think
- 46:10the uncreative stories and superficial character writing is what I always be the most.
- 46:15No, no one's asking any additional questions, and just kind of commenting on
- 46:19that, Robert Johnson says, the deck with the charger base is best.
- 46:22All right, Well, any okay, if you have any final like thoughts
- 46:27or whatever, like before we go that you want to say anything, So
- 46:34oh yeah, I'm going to say what I always tell people when they ask
- 46:40me if I have no recommendation this kind of stuff. Open your eyes to
- 46:45Japanese stuff. If you guys are diet of bullshit in your games, in
- 46:52your movies, in your TV shows, in everything, open your mind to
- 47:00Asia, Japanese, South Korea and stuff. And also open your minds to
- 47:05the indie games market. They're amazing lots of high quality games. And when
- 47:13I say high qualities, the high quality is where it actually matters. It's
- 47:19a gameplay, it's a concept of the game. It's not like fancy as
- 47:22graphics and all this ocehit you know, So open your mind to this kind
- 47:27of stuff. Talk with your wallets. Do not think that you have to
- 47:30play a game just because I mean, oh, this is the only good
- 47:35game out that. No, there are toads of good games out there that
- 47:38don't try to re educate you, that don't try to tell that you are
- 47:42a prick. They don't try to tell that you are a monstern. You
- 47:45know. So don't give money to these kind of people. Remember what they
- 47:49say, remember what they think about you, and remember that you can't talk
- 47:52with your with your wallet always. That's that's my message, all right,
- 48:00Very common sense stuff. Common sense is pretty uncommon today. Yeah, not
- 48:05not not genius and stuff, right, but I mean nowadays, No,
- 48:07it's yes, it's it's valuable. I mean, like I said, most
- 48:10people don't have it. Yeah. Yeah, so you're talking sense for sure.
- 48:15Facts is what I would say, like the kids say facts. Yes,
- 48:21yes, all right, Well anyway, Cabrutus, thank you so much
- 48:24for coming on the show. I did go yeah, yeah, no,
- 48:30no problem. I think you for the invitation. Don't care. I mean,
- 48:32oh, my channel is a small No, it's not about it.
- 48:35Okay, you are as part of it as everybody else. Doesn't matter that
- 48:38them as your channel has. It's just that, you know, if sometimes

- 50:00as well. I'd appreciate that, thank you. Yeah, no problem,
- 50:06and yeah, if you want to subscribe to mine. So what do I
- 50:08do here? Just so real quick to close it off on Honey Badger Arcade.
- 50:13So, Honey Badger Arcade is the gaming channel for a much another website,
- 50:16like a bigger space called Honey Badger Brigade. And Honey Badger Brigade talks
- 50:22about social, cultural and sort of political issues facing men and boys. Because
- 50:28this is like an underserved conversation. But because I know a lot of young
- 50:31guys are gamers and I'm a gamer myself, I decided to make a little
- 50:36bit more of a you know, comfortable, chill, relaxed community over on
- 50:40Honey Badger Arcade where we play video games together. And what I normally do
- 50:45is I stream games that the audience I request. So I've had people say,
- 50:49you know, I want you to play through Devil May Cry five,
- 50:52and I said, okay, I'll do it. And so I've been playing
- 50:53through Devilmay Cry five because I never played it before. I do a lot
- 50:55of first time play through stuff too. But I also game with my wife
- 51:00Lindsey. You know. We we played through all of the Resident Evil games
- 51:05that you can play together, like Residuble five and Residubal six, and as
- 51:07bad as Residentvial six was, we had so much fun because it was just
- 51:13like a community of people. And I think that that's what gaming is.
- 51:15Gaming is it? Well, for me, it's a communal thing. You
- 51:19know, you do it. You share the experience with friends, even if
- 51:22you're playing by yourself, and but especially if you're playing with others. So
- 51:27this is what I am all about, mallabah, having a good time,
- 51:30hanging out, you know, and not worrying about getting getting a little bit
- 51:35of escapism because we all need that. So if you if you like that
- 51:38kind of thing, and you and you want to see And I'm also going
- 51:42to be doing more content regarding the sort of like cultural landscape in relationship to
- 51:46games to help people with the tools they need to understand what exactly is going
- 51:52on, because it's not about gaming, it's not about journalism, it's not
- 51:54about ethics, it's about ideology and we should be prepared to, like,
- 52:00you know, understand what is really going on, and that's what I want
- 52:04to promote. So if you like that message, then please subscribe to the
- 52:07channel Honey batchger Arcade really appreciate it, and hit the BELF notifications. Please
