Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. I know we've been talking a whole lot
• 0:07
Speaker 1: about the death of Jeffrey Epstein, but we're going to
• 0:10
Speaker 1: continue talking about it until we get some answers. And
• 0:14
  Speaker 1: that's because I don't believe the narrative that's been pitched
• 0:16
Speaker 1: to us by the DOJ and the BOP. And I
• 0:20
Speaker 1: think there's an overwhelming amount of circumstantial evidence that should
• 0:24
Speaker 1: lead any serious investigator to know that something really wrong
• 0:28
Speaker 1: happened that night And it wasn't just a coincidence. Now, look,
• 0:32
Speaker 1: I'm not going to sit here and tell you I
• 0:33
Speaker 1: know exactly what went down or who was involved, but
• 0:36
Speaker 1: I don't believe the narrative that they're telling us. I'm sorry,
• 0:40
Speaker 1: but I don't. Way too many things would have to
• 0:43
Speaker 1: line up and go wrong for their narrative to be true.
• 0:46
Speaker 1: And I think that from the Michael Thomas interview and
• 0:50
Speaker 1: the Tova Noel interview, it's rather obvious that they're both
• 0:53
Speaker 1: lying about what went down that night. So the question is,
• 0:58
Speaker 1: what are they lying about? And who are they protecting?
• 1:03
Speaker 1: Today's article is from the New York Post and the headline.
• 1:06
Speaker 1: New video shows guards milling about with Epstein only a
• 1:10
Speaker 1: few feet away in his cell instead of conducting mandatory rounds.
• 1:15
Speaker 1: I thought they were sleeping. I thought Thomas was sleeping
• 1:18
Speaker 1: the whole entire time. Isn't that what we've been told
• 1:21
Speaker 1: by Tova Noel? Turns out that's a lie. This article
• 1:27
Speaker 1: was authored by Gabrielle Fahmy and Shane Galvin. A newly
• 1:32
Speaker 1: revealed surveillance video from the night of Jeffrey Epstein's death
• 1:36
Speaker 1: shows the prison guards casually milling about only a few
• 1:39
Speaker 1: feet from the cell where he killed himself. Whoop, full stop.
• 1:44
Speaker 1: Where he killed himself? Well, I'm glad you have all
• 1:46
Speaker 1: that information and all the evidence that leads you to
• 1:49
Speaker 1: believe that he, you know, killed himself. Because I haven't
• 1:52
Speaker 1: seen that evidence yet. And at this point, I think
• 1:55
Speaker 1: there is enough evidence to refute the narrative and do
• 1:59
Speaker 1: it strongly. Correctional officers Tova Noel and Michael Thomas are
• 2:03
Speaker 1: seen lounging in front of the officer's station in the
• 2:06
Speaker 1: special housing unit of Manhattan's MCC Center at around 3.15 a.m.,
• 2:12
Speaker 1: both writing on a piece of paper, walking back and forth,
• 2:15
Speaker 1: and talking on the phone, instead of conducting the mandatory
• 2:18
Speaker 1: 3 a.m. rounds, according to a video unearthed in the
• 2:21
Speaker 1: trove of DOJ documents recently released. And that obviously blows
• 2:25
Speaker 1: their narrative right out of the water. You know, the
• 2:28
Speaker 1: whole narrative, they were sleeping, they had no idea, Well,
• 2:31
Speaker 1: I didn't know what Michael Thomas was up to. And Thomas,
• 2:33
Speaker 1: I had no idea what Tova Noel was doing. Meanwhile,
• 2:38
Speaker 1: they were walking around having the time of their lives.
• 2:40
Speaker 1: Can somebody please explain to me how these folks didn't
• 2:44
Speaker 1: end up in prison? Imagine being that bad at your
• 2:47
Speaker 1: job that it ended up in somebody dying and losing
• 2:49
Speaker 1: their life and you just get to walk scot-free. Because
• 2:53
Speaker 1: that's what happened. I mean, they falsified records. How are
• 2:57
Speaker 1: you going to falsify those records? make pretend that you
• 3:00
Speaker 1: were sleeping the whole time, and then not end up
• 3:03
Speaker 1: in jail. It is unacceptable. Epstein was just a few
• 3:07
Speaker 1: feet away, the first cell on the block, just down
• 3:10
Speaker 1: a short set of stairs, behind the officer station on
• 3:14
Speaker 1: the 9th floor L-tier wing, according to schematics of the prison.
• 3:19
Speaker 1: The sex predator is believed to have killed himself sometime
• 3:22
Speaker 1: between 10.30pm August 9th, the last time Noel, who was
• 3:26
Speaker 1: working a double shift, checked on inmates. And 6.30 a.m.,
• 3:30
Speaker 1: August 10th, when Noel and Thomas discovered his lifeless body
• 3:34
Speaker 1: while serving breakfast to the inmates, according to the Department
• 3:38
Speaker 1: of Justice. So Tova Noel was the last person to
• 3:41
Speaker 1: see Epstein alive. How does that usually work out for
• 3:44
Speaker 1: people in the real world? Oh, you know. Right away,
• 3:48
Speaker 1: you're a suspect. And then we look at the financial transactions.
• 3:53
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, nothing to see here. It's all just a
• 3:57
Speaker 1: big coincidence again. And look, I'm not going to sit
• 4:00
Speaker 1: here and tell you that Tova Noel and Michael Thomas
• 4:03
Speaker 1: were definitely in on it, but none of it adds up.
• 4:07
Speaker 1: And the circumstantial evidence leads me to believe that there
• 4:10
Speaker 1: needs to be a much more robust investigation into not
• 4:14
Speaker 1: only what went on inside of that jail cell, but
• 4:17
Speaker 1: into all the people that were working the night of.
• 4:20
Speaker 1: And I don't mean that OIG interview that we're looking at.
• 4:24
Speaker 1: I'm talking about a brand new investigation with a fresh
• 4:27
Speaker 1: set of eyes, That is initiated. That's what we need.
• 4:32
Speaker 1: Bring people in, subpoena power, the whole thing. But unfortunately,
• 4:36
Speaker 1: the only way we can get there is with a
• 4:38
Speaker 1: special prosecutor. And it doesn't seem like anybody is even
• 4:41
Speaker 1: talking about that. But if we're serious here, that's the
• 4:45
Speaker 1: way to go. We can't trust the DOJ to investigate themselves.
• 4:49
Speaker 1: We know that. So what are we left with? We're
• 4:53
Speaker 1: left with a special prosecutor. But for that to happen,
• 4:57
Speaker 1: Congress would have to have the willpower... to make that move.
• 5:01
Speaker 1: And do you really think they're going to do that?
• 5:03
Speaker 1: Do you really think the DOJ is going to cede
• 5:05
Speaker 1: power when it comes to Epstein? No chance. Not now.
• 5:09
Speaker 1: Not ever. So we're in this loop. We keep uncovering
• 5:14
Speaker 1: all of this information, but the DOJ refuses to act.
• 5:18
Speaker 1: And for the DOJ, that doubles their problem. Because now,
• 5:22
Speaker 1: not only did they cover this up back then, they're
• 5:25
Speaker 1: also covering it up right now in real time. And
• 5:28
Speaker 1: people can see it. And people are paying attention. And
• 5:32
Speaker 1: now people want answers. But unfortunately, the DOJ is short
• 5:37
Speaker 1: when it comes to those. Instead, they want to talk shit.
• 5:41
Speaker 1: They want to try and turn the narrative around and
• 5:45
Speaker 1: attack people. Imagine having the Attorney General show up with
• 5:48
Speaker 1: a hit list. And instead of answering questions about what's
• 5:52
Speaker 1: going on with Epstein, she starts talking about crime in
• 5:56
Speaker 1: so-and-so's district. Or the Dow? Now flip the script. Imagine
• 6:02
Speaker 1: if Merrick Garland did that? Oh, forget it. It would
• 6:06
Speaker 1: have been a shit show. And please make no mistake,
• 6:10
Speaker 1: I'm no fan of Merrick Garland. Another do-nothing clown. But
• 6:14
Speaker 1: the point is, there's no consistency, right? None at all. Oh,
• 6:18
Speaker 1: you want this one to be held accountable, but not
• 6:20
Speaker 1: that one, because they're in the same political party as me,
• 6:23
Speaker 1: and they like the president. What does that even mean?
• 6:26
Speaker 1: And how can you call yourself a patriot if you
• 6:28
Speaker 1: have more loyalty to a man than you do to
• 6:31
Speaker 1: your country? I've never understood that way of thinking. I'm
• 6:35
Speaker 1: not loyal to any man or any political party. I'm
• 6:38
Speaker 1: loyal to this country and what's best for this country,
• 6:41
Speaker 1: in my opinion. And if that doesn't jive with the
• 6:44
Speaker 1: ruling party's message, I don't care. The guards apparently ignored
• 6:50
Speaker 1: the bright orange warnings and reminders that the officer in
• 6:53
Speaker 1: charge of the special housing unit had plastered on their computers,
• 6:58
Speaker 1: by accident or on purpose. I'll leave it up to
• 7:01
Speaker 1: you to decide. But I have a hard time believing
• 7:04
Speaker 1: that neither of these guards knew the basic duties of
• 7:07
Speaker 1: their job. And according to the depositions, they had no
• 7:11
Speaker 1: idea what they were doing there. They might as well
• 7:13
Speaker 1: have been at McDonald's flipping burgers. The notes reminded everyone
• 7:18
Speaker 1: that Epstein was fresh off suicide watch, needed a bunkmate
• 7:21
Speaker 1: at all times, and regular check-ins, the DOJ documents reveal,
• 7:26
Speaker 1: Mandatory rounds must be conducted every 30 minutes on Epstein
• 7:30
Speaker 1: as per God. Read one order. Shoe boss, Lieutenant Robert
• 7:35
Speaker 1: Gravala later told DOJ investigators, I put it next to
• 7:38
Speaker 1: the computer. It was just something between us that said,
• 7:41
Speaker 1: make sure the rounds are conducted. And he has a
• 7:44
Speaker 1: bunkie at all times. It's orange paper and black lettering.
• 7:49
Speaker 1: How did that work out? Oh, they were too busy
• 7:53
Speaker 1: shopping on the internet, huh? Grovala said that he left
• 7:58
Speaker 1: instructions right next to the screen, hanging on the PC
• 8:01
Speaker 1: sometime before he went home for the weekend at 2 p.m.
• 8:04
Speaker 1: on August 9th. Whoever was there, they watched, they saw
• 8:08
Speaker 1: the paper. Monday I came in, and the paper wasn't
• 8:11
Speaker 1: there anymore, he said. So look, for me, Thomas and Noel,
• 8:17
Speaker 1: they're the ones holding the bag. And if I was
• 8:20
Speaker 1: in charge, I would be investigating them like you wouldn't believe.
• 8:24
Speaker 1: I'd be giving them... The mafia treatment. Every transaction ever made.
• 8:29
Speaker 1: Every person you've ever talked to. Every place you've ever been.
• 8:32
Speaker 1: All of it. Because as far as I'm concerned, their
• 8:35
Speaker 1: stories make zero sense. And in fact, I think they're lying.
• 8:40
Speaker 1: Gravala said that around 8am on August 9th, he brought
• 8:44
Speaker 1: Epstein and his cellmate, convicted drug dealer Efren Reyes, downstairs.
• 8:48
Speaker 1: Epstein was meeting with his lawyers all day, and Reyes
• 8:51
Speaker 1: had his belongings with him and was likely heading home.
• 8:55
Speaker 1: When I walked them towards the door, I said, you're
• 8:58
Speaker 1: going to get a bunk. Gravala recalled telling him, Epstein
• 9:01
Speaker 1: is like, no, I'm good. He seemed calm, Gravala added,
• 9:05
Speaker 1: of Epstein. He joked around, because he asked for a
• 9:08
Speaker 1: new jumper, and I told him no, and he asked
• 9:10
Speaker 1: why not. I was like, it's a jail, and you
• 9:13
Speaker 1: have what you get. Nobody else gets a jumper. It's
• 9:16
Speaker 1: not Versace, you know. He's ha ha ha, he laughed,
• 9:19
Speaker 1: and that's it. Gravala said that before leaving for the weekend,
• 9:23
Speaker 1: he told staff multiple times, Epstein would need a new
• 9:26
Speaker 1: cellmate when he returned from the meeting with his lawyers
• 9:29
Speaker 1: that evening. And they ignored him. Remember in the interview?
• 9:33
Speaker 1: They said they had no idea that Epstein needed a cellmate.
• 9:35
Speaker 1: Nobody told them that. No lie. He also told inspectors
• 9:42
Speaker 1: the reason that Epstein had multiple orange sheets in his cell,
• 9:45
Speaker 1: the cloths he used to hang himself, is because officers
• 9:49
Speaker 1: failed to remove Reyes sheets when he was discharged. And
• 9:52
Speaker 1: they likely gave Epstein a couple extra After he complained,
• 9:56
Speaker 1: he was cold at night. They fucked up, Gravalda said. Sorry.
• 9:59
Speaker 1: that's a big no-go. Gravala is still employed at the
• 10:03
Speaker 1: Manhattan Correctional Center and has been promoted to deputy captain,
• 10:08
Speaker 1: according to the Bureau of Prisons. Well, not at MCC.
• 10:11
Speaker 1: MCC is closed. So I have no idea where Mr.
• 10:15
Speaker 1: Gravala is working. The House Oversight Committee chair called Noel
• 10:20
Speaker 1: in for an interview on March 26th after the Post
• 10:22
Speaker 1: reported that she Googled Epstein shortly before he took his
• 10:25
Speaker 1: life and banked mysterious cash deposits. What they mean by
• 10:29
Speaker 1: that is they piggybacked on our conversation about what went
• 10:33
Speaker 1: on that night and that led them to start looking
• 10:36
Speaker 1: into Tova Noel and Michael Thomas and what happened that night.
• 10:40
Speaker 1: And that's a good thing. More people should be doing that.
• 10:43
Speaker 1: The more eyes on this, the better. Because I'm going
• 10:46
Speaker 1: to miss things, right? I'm not going to get everything.
• 10:48
Speaker 1: So the more people that are looking at it, the
• 10:50
Speaker 1: better off we're going to be. Noel and Thomas were
• 10:53
Speaker 1: accused of falsifying records that said they checked on Epstein
• 10:56
Speaker 1: throughout the night, even though investigators later learned they failed
• 11:00
  Speaker 1: to do the 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. rounds. They
• 11:04
Speaker 1: were fired, but criminal charges against both were dropped in
• 11:09
Speaker 1: 2021 by Obama-appointed U.S. District Court Judge Annalisa Torres. Well,
• 11:14
Speaker 1: I'm not shocked by that. They didn't want this case
• 11:18
Speaker 1: to move forward. At all. The court knew that. The
• 11:22
Speaker 1: Department of Justice knew that. The BOP knew that. And
• 11:25
Speaker 1: the best way to mitigate the fallout was to keep
• 11:27
Speaker 1: everybody quiet. How do you do that? Well, you make
• 11:30
Speaker 1: sure they're hooked up. It's no different than Epstein serving
• 11:33
Speaker 1: up some hush money, except this time, it's the federal
• 11:36
Speaker 1: government giving the two guards that were responsible for Epstein
• 11:39
Speaker 1: that night an out. So it's basically just another payoff.
• 11:45
Speaker 1: And as far as I'm concerned, it's unacceptable. So let's
• 11:48
Speaker 1: see what happens on March 26th. But I think that
• 11:53
Speaker 1: the whole entire situation needs to be revisited. And I
• 11:57
Speaker 1: think that there needs to be a robust investigation into
• 12:00
Speaker 1: everybody who was involved in the decision making that led
• 12:03
Speaker 1: to the death of Jeffrey Epstein. Now, if we get
• 12:06
Speaker 1: that investigation or not, that's a whole different matter entirely.
• 12:10
Speaker 1: But we most certainly should. And you can guarantee until
• 12:13
Speaker 1: that happens, my fat mouth is going to continue to run.
• 12:19
Speaker 1: All the information that goes with this episode can be
• 12:22
Speaker 1: found in the description box. What's up everyone and welcome
• 12:25
Speaker 1: to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. Ever since the
• 12:30
Speaker 1: death of Jeffrey Epstein, we have heard from the federal
• 12:33
Speaker 1: government that without a doubt, it was a suicide. And
• 12:38
Speaker 1: that there is no question in their mind that Jeffrey
• 12:41
Speaker 1: Epstein took his own life. And they say that they
• 12:44
Speaker 1: have viewed video and evidence that leads them to that conclusion.
• 12:49
Speaker 1: The only problem with that is they haven't shared that
• 12:52
Speaker 1: evidence with the rest of us. And it just so
• 12:55
Speaker 1: happens that the narrative that they tried to pitch to
• 12:58
Speaker 1: us doesn't really fit with the reality of what happened
• 13:02
Speaker 1: inside of that facility. And it's been very obvious from
• 13:06
Speaker 1: the first suicide attempt or alleged suicide attempt, I should say,
• 13:10
Speaker 1: that something was amiss. And when you go back and
• 13:14
Speaker 1: you look at the decisions that were made, you have
• 13:17
Speaker 1: to ask yourself, What the hell was going on at MCC?
• 13:22
Speaker 1: And why in the hell did they make the decisions
• 13:25
Speaker 1: that they made? Because Jeffrey Epstein should have never been
• 13:29
Speaker 1: in a cell with Nicholas Tartaglione in the first place.
• 13:32
Speaker 1: And if you notice, they always glaze over that part
• 13:35
Speaker 1: of the story. They talk about it as if it's
• 13:39
Speaker 1: some kind of footnote, as if it's not an important
• 13:41
Speaker 1: part of what happened. And in my opinion, it's a
• 13:45
Speaker 1: gigantic part. Because I've said it once, and I'll say
• 13:50
Speaker 1: it again. I think that Tartaglione was put in that
• 13:53
Speaker 1: jail cell to send a message to Jeffrey Epstein. And
• 13:57
Speaker 1: that message was, listen bro, we can reach out and
• 14:00
Speaker 1: touch you anytime we want. So either you do it,
• 14:04
Speaker 1: or we'll do it. And at that point, Epstein knew
• 14:07
Speaker 1: that he was cooked. And he's been around long enough
• 14:09
Speaker 1: to know that when you're cooked in that world, well,
• 14:12
Speaker 1: that means that you're finished. That doesn't mean you're getting fired,
• 14:16
Speaker 1: or that you're going to be exiled. It means you're
• 14:19
Speaker 1: going to be deleted from the playing board. And that's
• 14:23
Speaker 1: exactly what ended up happening with Jeffrey Epstein, isn't it?
• 14:25
Speaker 1: But they'll tell you that everything that went wrong was
• 14:29
Speaker 1: just a coincidence. And that it was just the perfect
• 14:32
Speaker 1: storm of screw-ups all at the same time that led
• 14:36
Speaker 1: to this gigantic disaster. And that's what they want you
• 14:39
Speaker 1: to believe. And for years, they have been adamant about
• 14:44
Speaker 1: that narrative. And anybody who questioned that narrative... was considered
• 14:48
Speaker 1: a kook, was considered somebody that might as well be
• 14:52
Speaker 1: talking about little green men, as if there weren't mountains
• 14:55
Speaker 1: of evidence about Jeffrey Epstein and his crimes, and about
• 14:59
Speaker 1: what went down, and about what happened in that jail
• 15:01
Speaker 1: cell on the night in question. And now with the
• 15:05
Speaker 1: spotlight really turned up, people are asking questions, once again,
• 15:09
Speaker 1: about what happened in that jail cell. And I think
• 15:12
Speaker 1: people are on the right track. There's a lot of
• 15:15
Speaker 1: salacious sidequests And a lot of things coming out in
• 15:18
Speaker 1: the files that they want you to dive into. And
• 15:21
Speaker 1: they want you to go after. Things like babies getting eaten.
• 15:25
Speaker 1: You know, all kinds of unsubstantiated claims. And look, I'm
• 15:28
Speaker 1: not saying that those claims aren't true. I don't know.
• 15:32
Speaker 1: But I will tell you this. That's one of their
• 15:35
Speaker 1: favorite traps. They want to make everybody seem like they're crazy.
• 15:39
Speaker 1: They want everybody talking about this story to be framed
• 15:42
Speaker 1: as nothing more than somebody out here searching for Bigfoot.
• 15:46
Speaker 1: And what's the best way to do that? Well, sprinkle
• 15:49
Speaker 1: some fake stuff in with the real stuff, release it,
• 15:53
Speaker 1: and then let the party begin. Keep in mind that
• 15:56
Speaker 1: everything's about confusion and obfuscation when it comes to Jeffrey
• 16:00
Speaker 1: Epstein's people. That's always been the plan. And what better
• 16:05
Speaker 1: way to add some confusion than to have people on
• 16:08
Speaker 1: these crazy side quests? Because if we're spending all of
• 16:10
Speaker 1: our time jumping down those rabbit holes, then we're not
• 16:14
Speaker 1: spending our time on the systemic failures that occurred. And
• 16:18
Speaker 1: I think at this point, that is the most important
• 16:21
Speaker 1: path to travel. And that's because this remaining infrastructure is intact.
• 16:27
Speaker 1: I'm talking about going after the people that we know
• 16:29
Speaker 1: we can get indictments on. Indyke, Kahn, the Corp 4.
• 16:33
Speaker 1: And then if you want to talk about financial crimes,
• 16:36
Speaker 1: we could talk about Leon Black. We could talk about
• 16:38
Speaker 1: Les Wexner. We could talk about Glenn Dubin. The list
• 16:41
Speaker 1: goes on. And I know we all get caught up
• 16:44
Speaker 1: on the most horrendous part of this and of course
• 16:48
Speaker 1: that's the most important part of it right getting justice
• 16:51
Speaker 1: for those girls who were wronged but at the same
• 16:55
Speaker 1: time we have to understand that there's plenty of ways
• 16:57
Speaker 1: to skin a cat and you don't always have to
• 17:01
Speaker 1: go after people on the most salacious charges to make
• 17:04
Speaker 1: sure that they're punished and I've brought up the analogy
• 17:08
Speaker 1: before and I'll bring it up again look at Al
• 17:11
Speaker 1: Capone they didn't get him for all the murders right
• 17:13
Speaker 1: they didn't get him for the mayhem They got them
• 17:16
Speaker 1: for tax evasion. And in my opinion, there's certainly been
• 17:20
Speaker 1: a ton of tax evasion when we're talking about Jeffrey
• 17:23
Speaker 1: Epstein's friends. So it's not just the human trafficking and
• 17:27
Speaker 1: sexual abuse that's criminal. We're talking about an international money
• 17:31
Speaker 1: laundering scheme that involves some of the most powerful people
• 17:34
Speaker 1: in the whole entire world. That's what they don't want
• 17:37
Speaker 1: you focused on. They want you focused on other things
• 17:41
Speaker 1: that make you look like some kind of crazy. So
• 17:43
Speaker 1: I'll leave that to other people. Here on the podcast,
• 17:46
Speaker 1: we're going to stick to doing what we always do.
• 17:49
Speaker 1: And that's following the evidence wherever it leads us. Today's
• 17:53
Speaker 1: article is from CBS News and the headline. Who entered
• 17:56
Speaker 1: Epstein's jail tier the night of his death? Newly released
• 18:00
Speaker 1: video logs appear to contradict official accounts. Well, that's a shock, huh?
• 18:05
Speaker 1: I thought that official narrative was airtight. Isn't that what
• 18:08
Speaker 1: Dan Bongino told us? I mean, according to him and
• 18:11
Speaker 1: Kash Patel, there was no evidence of anything. Nobody else involved,
• 18:16
Speaker 1: and certainly no evidence that Epstein did anything besides kill himself.
• 18:20
Speaker 1: And you know that they've been privy to a lot
• 18:22
Speaker 1: more evidence than us. They've certainly seen more evidence than
• 18:25
Speaker 1: the general public, and they have the audacity to get
• 18:28
Speaker 1: up there and lie, and act like nobody's gonna call
• 18:31
Speaker 1: them out, and everybody's just gonna be like, oh, okay, cool.
• 18:34
Speaker 1: Dan Bongino said so. So why don't we just trust
• 18:38
Speaker 1: him and his sweaty-ass forehead? Sounds like a great plan. Folks,
• 18:43
Speaker 1: the buffoonery... is real. This article was authored by Daniel Rutnick.
• 18:51
Speaker 1: Newly released Department of Justice documents show that investigators reviewing
• 18:55
Speaker 1: surveillance footage from the night of Jeffrey Epstein's death observed
• 18:59
Speaker 1: an orange-colored shape moving up a staircase toward the isolated,
• 19:03
Speaker 1: locked tier where his cell was located at approximately 10.39 p.m.
• 19:07
Speaker 1: on August 9, 2019. That entry was in an observation
• 19:14
Speaker 1: log of the video from the Metropolitan Correctional Center, appears
• 19:18
Speaker 1: to suggest something previously unreported by authorities. A flash of
• 19:23
Speaker 1: orange looks to be going up the L-tier stairs. Could
• 19:27
Speaker 1: possibly be an inmate escorted up to that tier. Look,
• 19:31
Speaker 1: we have no idea what happened that night. Do you
• 19:35
Speaker 1: know that five or six different guards refused to even
• 19:39
Speaker 1: speak to the OIG investigators? I mean, think about that
• 19:42
Speaker 1: for a second. These clowns have pitched you a story
• 19:46
Speaker 1: that's not even half true. And it's a story that...
• 19:50
Speaker 1: been disputed from the very beginning. Why was Jeffrey Epstein's
• 19:54
Speaker 1: death reported on 4chan like 38 minutes before it was
• 19:58
Speaker 1: picked up by legacy media? Still no answers for that.
• 20:03
Speaker 1: It also appears, according to an FBI memorandum that reviews
• 20:07
Speaker 1: by investigators, led to disparate conclusions by the FBI and
• 20:12
Speaker 1: those examining the same video from the Department of Justice
• 20:15
Speaker 1: Office of Inspector General. The FBI log describes the fuzzy
• 20:20
Speaker 1: image as a possible inmate. Like what? What does that
• 20:25
Speaker 1: even mean? Possible? I mean, that can't really be the case, right?
• 20:29
Speaker 1: Dan Bongino told us something completely different. Kash Patel told
• 20:32
Speaker 1: us something completely different while he was under oath. So
• 20:36
Speaker 1: that can't be true. Kash Patel would never lie to us, right?
• 20:41
Speaker 1: How about Dan Bongino? Two very, very, very honorable men.
• 20:45
Speaker 1: Pillars of society. Salt of the earth types. The Inspector
• 20:49
Speaker 1: General logs it as an officer carrying orange linen or bedding,
• 20:54
Speaker 1: noting in their final report as an unidentified corrections officer.
• 20:59
Speaker 1: I mean, if you want to believe that, cool. But
• 21:02
Speaker 1: I have a hard time believing anything they're telling us
• 21:04
Speaker 1: about what happened in that jail cell especially. The final
• 21:10
Speaker 1: report by the Inspector General stated, at approximately 10.39 p.m.,
• 21:14
Speaker 1: an unidentified CO appeared to walk up the Altair stairway
• 21:18
Speaker 1: and then reappeared within view of the camera at 10.41 p.m.
• 21:24
Speaker 1: Official reports state that Epstein died by suicide sometime before 6.30 a.m.,
• 21:30
Speaker 1: when his body was discovered by a corrections officer delivering
• 21:33
Speaker 1: his breakfast. No official time of death was ever determined.
• 21:38
Speaker 1: In recent months, there have been questions about the work
• 21:41
Speaker 1: of investigators probing the circumstances of his death. The recent months? No, years.
• 21:48
Speaker 1: You guys just woke up and started talking about the
• 21:51
Speaker 1: story again. Some of us have been demanding answers for years.
• 21:56
Speaker 1: And look, I'm not saying I don't appreciate the cavalry
• 21:58
Speaker 1: finally showing up, I do. But let's not act like
• 22:01
Speaker 1: this is something that just popped up. Because this is
• 22:04
Speaker 1: something that's been a point of contention for people that
• 22:07
Speaker 1: have been following the story for a long time. In
• 22:11
Speaker 1: an in-depth analysis of surveillance video from the jail, CBS
• 22:15
Speaker 1: News previously reported on the figure on the stairs and
• 22:19
Speaker 1: consulted independent video analysts who said the movement was more
• 22:23
Speaker 1: consistent with an inmate or someone wearing an orange prison
• 22:27
Speaker 1: uniform than a corrections officer. And when you watch that video,
• 22:31
Speaker 1: it surely looks to me that there is an inmate
• 22:34
Speaker 1: heading up the tier. So the question is, what was
• 22:36
Speaker 1: he doing, and why? And who allowed it? Who signed
• 22:39
Speaker 1: off on it? Who gave him the okay? How did
• 22:41
Speaker 1: he get into the tier? Lot of questions, folks. Still
• 22:45
Speaker 1: no answers. The new records raise more questions about activity
• 22:49
Speaker 1: near Epstein's tier late that evening. Official reviews of Epstein's
• 22:53
Speaker 1: death make no mention of the figure in orange, and
• 22:56
Speaker 1: later pronouncements from authorities, including the Attorney General at the time,
• 23:01
Speaker 1: Bill Barr, were that no one entered Epstein's housing tier
• 23:04
Speaker 1: the night of his death. Bill Barr. Mr. Honesty himself, huh?
• 23:11
Speaker 1: Does anyone really believe anything that Bill Barr has to say?
• 23:15
Speaker 1: If Bill Barr told me that the sky was blue,
• 23:18
Speaker 1: I'd have to run outside and check for myself. I
• 23:20
Speaker 1: don't trust a word coming out of Bill Barr's mouth.
• 23:24
Speaker 1: And there's a reason that I used to call the
• 23:26
Speaker 1: dude Darth Barr. Last summer, in an interview on Fox
• 23:33
Speaker 1: & Friends, then-Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino said, There's video
• 23:38
Speaker 1: clear as day. He's the only person in there, and
• 23:41
Speaker 1: the only person coming out. You can see it. No,
• 23:44
Speaker 1: you can't see it, Danny boy. You know what I
• 23:46
Speaker 1: do see though? I see a cover-up happening in real
• 23:48
Speaker 1: time that Dan Bongino certainly was part of. Prison employees
• 23:54
Speaker 1: interviewed by CBS News said escorting an inmate at that
• 23:57
Speaker 1: hour would have been highly unusual. The identification of the
• 24:02
Speaker 1: individual could have been crucial to reconstructing the events, given
• 24:06
Speaker 1: that the sighting occurred within the estimated window of Epstein's
• 24:10
Speaker 1: possible time of death. Probably important, right? Seems like a
• 24:14
Speaker 1: very important avenue to investigate. I mean, they said that
• 24:18
Speaker 1: they had all the evidence, they seen everything, they know everything. Well,
• 24:24
Speaker 1: I guess not. The staircase leading to his cell was
• 24:27
Speaker 1: captured by the only camera known to have been recording
• 24:30
Speaker 1: that night, positioned in a way that partially obscured the
• 24:34
Speaker 1: approach to Epstein's tear. Government investigators relied heavily on that
• 24:39
Speaker 1: footage in reconstructing the timeline of events, but because of
• 24:43
Speaker 1: the camera angle, it was not possible to rule out
• 24:46
Speaker 1: whether someone could have climbed the stairs and entered the
• 24:49
Speaker 1: tear without being clearly visible. CBS News' analysis of that
• 24:53
Speaker 1: video found additional contradictions in between what the video showed
• 24:58
Speaker 1: and official statements. Well, of course, the whole entire case
• 25:01
Speaker 1: has been riddled with contradictions. And that's part of it.
• 25:06
Speaker 1: That's part of the confusion, and that's part of the
• 25:08
Speaker 1: plan to keep everybody in the dark. That's always been
• 25:11
Speaker 1: the goal. They knew they couldn't sweep this under the rug,
• 25:14
Speaker 1: so they wanted to make it confusing, and they try
• 25:17
Speaker 1: to frame it as some wild-ass conspiracy theory. Unfortunately for them,
• 25:22
Speaker 1: there's enough evidence out there now, tangible evidence, that normal
• 25:26
Speaker 1: people can take a look at it, and they see
• 25:28
Speaker 1: that narrative's BS for themselves. And once you recognize that
• 25:32
Speaker 1: the narrative's BS, you start to ask yourself, what else
• 25:35
Speaker 1: are they lying to me about? And I have bad
• 25:38
Speaker 1: news for you folks. They're lying to you about everything.
• 25:42
Speaker 1: Thousands of pages released last week as part of a
• 25:45
Speaker 1: broader Justice Department disclosure of Epstein-related files, totaling more than
• 25:50
Speaker 1: 3 million documents, provide additional detail about the hours between
• 25:55
Speaker 1: the evening of August 9th, when Epstein was last seen
• 25:58
Speaker 1: alive on camera, and the discovery of his body the
• 26:02
Speaker 1: following morning. Records and interviews describe a largely quiet night
• 26:07
Speaker 1: inside the special housing unit, or SHU, where Epstein was
• 26:10
Speaker 1: being held. Several inmates told investigators they were using drugs
• 26:15
Speaker 1: inside their cells, including marijuana and K2, a synthetic substance
• 26:20
Speaker 1: that multiple witnesses said was common on the tier. Among
• 26:24
Speaker 1: those interviewed were two corrections officers assigned to the unit
• 26:28
Speaker 1: that night, Tova Noel and Guido Bonhome, a materials handler
• 26:33
Speaker 1: who had not previously been publicly identified. Documents show Bonhome
• 26:38
Speaker 1: was interviewed twice in September 2019 in sessions conducted in
• 26:44
Speaker 1: lieu of a grand jury subpoena. According to Noel's account,
• 26:47
Speaker 1: Bonhome had been working multiple consecutive shifts and slept while
• 26:51
Speaker 1: on duty. for a period between approximately 10 p.m. and midnight.
• 26:57
Speaker 1: Investigators also questioned Noel about an unexplained change in the
• 27:01
Speaker 1: recorded number of inmates in the shoe, which appeared to
• 27:04
  Speaker 1: drop from 73 to 72 sometime between 10 p.m. and
• 27:09
Speaker 1: 3 a.m. Noel said she was probably mistaken about the
• 27:14
Speaker 1: discrepancy and told investigators she had no memory of a
• 27:18
Speaker 1: count changing. Oh, I have no doubt. Nobody knows anything.
• 27:22
Speaker 1: Nobody had anything to do with any of it. Nobody
• 27:25
Speaker 1: knows anything. And the guards who fell asleep, Tova Noel
• 27:29
Speaker 1: and her buddy? Ah, no big deal. We'll just give
• 27:33
Speaker 1: them a slap on the wrist. Neither officer was specifically
• 27:36
Speaker 1: asked about the orange-colored figure noted in the video observation log.
• 27:41
Speaker 1: Bonhomie told investigators he did not remember the period between
• 27:45
Speaker 1: 10 p.m. and midnight and said he had no recollection
• 27:49
Speaker 1: of anyone walking up the stairs. toward Epstein's tier at
• 27:53
Speaker 1: around 10.30 p.m. He added that a jail employee entering
• 27:58
Speaker 1: a tier alone would have violated policy. A separate internal
• 28:02
Speaker 1: presentation included in the document release described a corrections officer
• 28:07
Speaker 1: believed by investigators to be Noel carrying linen or inmate
• 28:11
Speaker 1: clothing up to the tier. The 2023 Inspector General report
• 28:16
Speaker 1: did not identify Noel as the figure seen in the footage.
• 28:20
Speaker 1: In her interview, Noel told investigators distributing linen was not
• 28:24
Speaker 1: part of her duties. I never gave out linen, ever,
• 28:27
Speaker 1: she said, because that's done on the shifts prior. So
• 28:32
Speaker 1: just more confusion, more lies, and more BS. And unfortunately,
• 28:36
Speaker 1: that's all we're going to get from the DOJ. They're
• 28:38
Speaker 1: not going to give us the truth. They're not going
• 28:40
Speaker 1: to be honest. They're not going to tell us what
• 28:42
Speaker 1: really happened. Von Holm ended his shift at midnight and
• 28:46
Speaker 1: was replaced by another corrections officer named Michael Thomas who
• 28:50
Speaker 1: would discover Epstein's body eight hours later. Noel continued on
• 28:54
Speaker 1: for a second consecutive eight-hour shift. Thomas and Noel failed
• 28:59
  Speaker 1: to complete inmate counts at 3 a.m. and 5 a.m.
• 29:03
Speaker 1: as well as mandatory 30-minute wellness checks of Epstein. Investigators
• 29:09
Speaker 1: speculated the officers may have fallen asleep. Thomas and Noel
• 29:13
Speaker 1: were later charged with falsifying records certifying the inmate counts
• 29:17
Speaker 1: had been completed. Federal prosecutors eventually dropped the charges in
• 29:22
Speaker 1: exchange for cooperation agreements that included interviews. A transcript of
• 29:28
Speaker 1: Thomas' interview conducted two years after Epstein's death and released
• 29:33
Speaker 1: in the recent document disclosure show significant gaps in his
• 29:36
Speaker 1: recollection of the morning Epstein was found. Thomas told investigators
• 29:42
Speaker 1: he discovered Epstein in his cell shortly after 6.30 a.m.
• 29:47
Speaker 1: on August 10th and that he ripped Epstein down from
• 29:50
Speaker 1: the hanging position. Investigators asked what happened to the noose.
• 29:55
  Speaker 1: I don't recall taking the noose off. I really don't,
• 29:57
Speaker 1: he replied. I don't recall taking the thing from around
• 30:00
Speaker 1: his neck. Noel, who remained standing at the cell entrance,
• 30:04
Speaker 1: told investigators she saw Thomas lower Epstein to the floor,
• 30:08
Speaker 1: but did not see a noose around his neck. The
• 30:11
Speaker 1: noose Epstein allegedly used has never been definitively identified. According
• 30:16
Speaker 1: to the Inspector General's report, a noose collected at the
• 30:19
Speaker 1: scene was later determined not to be the ligature used
• 30:23
Speaker 1: in Epstein's death. Nothing weird here though, everything's just on
• 30:27
Speaker 1: the up and up. Everything's normal. Everything's okay. No worries, folks.
• 30:32
Speaker 1: I'm from the government. And I'm here to help. Thomas
• 30:37
Speaker 1: also described Epstein as shirtless when he found him. Evidence
• 30:41
Speaker 1: records indicate a shirt, believed to have been cut from
• 30:44
Speaker 1: Epstein's body, was later returned from the hospital in a
• 30:47
Speaker 1: bag of personal belongings. The new documents also show that
• 30:52
Speaker 1: the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner
• 30:56
Speaker 1: reviewed the jail surveillance footage six days after Epstein's death
• 31:00
Speaker 1: as part of its investigation, and concluded the video was
• 31:03
Speaker 1: too blurry to identify any individuals. Hours later, the office
• 31:08
Speaker 1: publicly ruled Epstein's death a suicide. The medical examiner did
• 31:14
Speaker 1: not provide an estimate on how long Epstein may have
• 31:17
Speaker 1: been dead before his body was discovered, and CBS News
• 31:21
Speaker 1: had previously reported on the office's unorthodox handling of the
• 31:25
Speaker 1: crime scene. Yeah, it was terrible. They didn't follow procedure.
• 31:30
Speaker 1: Nothing was preserved. There was no video. Horrible. Everything about
• 31:34
Speaker 1: it was horrible. And all of it was unacceptable. Anytime
• 31:39
Speaker 1: somebody dies in jail, that should be treated as a
• 31:42
Speaker 1: homicide right off the bat until you do an investigation
• 31:46
Speaker 1: and figure out one way or the other what went down.
• 31:49
Speaker 1: But that never happened here. And the records show that.
• 31:52
Speaker 1: The records prove that there was never a real investigation
• 31:56
Speaker 1: When it comes to what happened to Jeffrey Epstein that night,
• 31:59
Speaker 1: nothing conclusive. Dr. Michael Bodden, a forensic pathologist retained by
• 32:05
Speaker 1: Epstein's brother, previously told CBS News Epstein had likely been
• 32:10
Speaker 1: dead for several hours before he was found, but because
• 32:13
Speaker 1: the body had been moved, determining the time of death
• 32:16
Speaker 1: was impossible. Bonham declined to comment when contacted by CBS News.
• 32:22
Speaker 1: Noel's attorney, Told CBS News, Ms. Noel will not be
• 32:26
Speaker 1: making any statements or attempts to clarify any aspect of
• 32:30
Speaker 1: the situation. Previous attempts to reach Michael Thomas on the
• 32:33
Speaker 1: phone through his attorney and at his home have been unsuccessful.
• 32:38
Speaker 1: So no accountability, nobody answering for anything, and here we
• 32:42
Speaker 1: are once again, left with more questions than answers. So
• 32:47
Speaker 1: considering Ms. Noel and Mr. Michael Thomas don't want to talk,
• 32:52
Speaker 1: I'd say that it's the perfect time to hit them
• 32:54
Speaker 1: with subpoenas and drag them before Congress. Everybody involved has
• 32:59
Speaker 1: to be under oath. Everybody involved has to be questioned.
• 33:03
Speaker 1: And anybody that helped this cover-up move forward, and if
• 33:06
Speaker 1: there's evidence of that, those people should be indicted and
• 33:10
Speaker 1: they should be held accountable for whatever part they played.
• 33:13
Speaker 1: Because at this point, as far as I'm concerned, it's
• 33:16
  Speaker 1: not whether there's a cover-up underway. At this point, it's
• 33:19
Speaker 1: not even a question of about if there's a cover-up happening.
• 33:23
Speaker 1: The real question is, just how deep does the cover-up go,
• 33:28
Speaker 1: and who all is involved? All of the information that
• 33:32
Speaker 1: goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
• 33:36
Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
• 33:39
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Over the past few days, a lot of
• 33:44
Speaker 1: the publicity when it comes to depositions in front of
• 33:47
Speaker 1: Congress was on Pambondi. However, Bondi wasn't the only person
• 33:53
Speaker 1: speaking to Congress. We also had Tova Noel, the guard
• 33:57
Speaker 1: that was on duty when Jeffrey Epstein died. Well, now
• 34:01
Speaker 1: she's saying that her life has been upended and that
• 34:05
Speaker 1: the Epstein controversy and what happened in that jail has
• 34:09
Speaker 1: led to people going so far as to threatening her life.
• 34:13
Speaker 1: And unfortunately, there's a lot of unhinged people out there.
• 34:16
Speaker 1: And when people make threats like that, this day and age,
• 34:20
Speaker 1: It has to be taken seriously, right? And as I've
• 34:22
Speaker 1: told you from the beginning, I don't think that Tova
• 34:24
Speaker 1: Noel was in on it. Like she wasn't, you know,
• 34:28
Speaker 1: somebody who planned it. Wasn't somebody that was relied upon.
• 34:31
Speaker 1: But I believe that the table was set. And she
• 34:34
Speaker 1: played her part, willingly or unwillingly. Does that mean anybody
• 34:39
Speaker 1: should be threatening this lady's life? Hell no. Anyone doing that,
• 34:43
Speaker 1: they should go to jail too. Fuck is wrong with people.
• 34:47
Speaker 1: The idea... is for a robust investigation, not vigilante justice.
• 34:52
Speaker 1: That plays right into their hands. They want to paint
• 34:55
Speaker 1: all of us as crazy people. That's what they want.
• 34:58
Speaker 1: If you want to effectively kill a narrative, paint everybody
• 35:00
Speaker 1: that's pushing that narrative as crazy. And when you have
• 35:03
Speaker 1: people that are out here acting the fool, threatening people,
• 35:08
Speaker 1: becoming unhinged maniacs, it doesn't do anyone any good. Not
• 35:12
Speaker 1: the person that's becoming unhinged, and it definitely doesn't help
• 35:15
Speaker 1: promote Justice, right? The more crazy people you have, the
• 35:20
Speaker 1: more they can use that broad brush and paint everybody
• 35:23
Speaker 1: as crazy. So today, we have an article from the
• 35:26
Speaker 1: International Business Times and the headline, Epstein Guard on Duty,

Speaker 1: When He Was Found Dead, Faces Death Threats Over Cover-Up
• 35:35
Speaker 1: Conspiracy Theories. Conspiracy theories, is it? So this isn't a cover-up?
• 35:40
Speaker 1: I mean, I don't think there's any conspiracy about it. Now,
• 35:43
Speaker 1: of course, we can talk about what happened to Epstein
• 35:45
Speaker 1: in that jail. Nobody knows for sure. But I think
• 35:49
Speaker 1: that the evidence is certainly there where you can make
• 35:52
Speaker 1: the case that Jeffrey Epstein was murdered. Now, of course,
• 35:56
Speaker 1: you can make the case the other way too. But
• 35:58
Speaker 1: I think when you have all of the coincidences, all
• 36:02
Speaker 1: of the screw-ups, and all of the nonsense that we've
• 36:04
Speaker 1: heard in those depositions that were given by people at MCC,
• 36:09
Speaker 1: to the OIG. Have any of you come away from that?
• 36:12
Speaker 1: Confident in the narrative that was being pitched by the DOJ?
• 36:16
  Speaker 1: I most certainly am not. And I don't think I've
• 36:20
Speaker 1: ever seen something that has been more blatant than this
• 36:23
Speaker 1: cover-up right here. This article was authored by Thea Felicity.
• 36:29
Speaker 1: A former prison officer who was on duty the night
• 36:31
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein died in a New York jail has told U.S.
• 36:35
Speaker 1: lawmakers that enduring conspiracy theories around his death have derailed
• 36:39
Speaker 1: her life, and left her facing harassment and threats, according
• 36:42
Speaker 1: to a transcript of testimony shared by The Sun. I
• 36:45
Speaker 1: wonder if that caused her to assault one of her co-workers.
• 36:48
Speaker 1: Because she got sued for that, too. Did this Jeffrey
• 36:53
Speaker 1: Epstein situation cause that? Just a question. The Epstein guard
• 36:58
Speaker 1: on duty, when he was found dead, Tova Noel, told
• 37:00
Speaker 1: the House Oversight Committee that she was not involved in
• 37:03
Speaker 1: any cover-up, and insisted she never conspired in Epstein's death
• 37:07
Speaker 1: while working, at the MCC in 2019. And I agree
• 37:11
Speaker 1: with that. But was she put in that position with
• 37:13
Speaker 1: Michael Thomas so this could occur? We don't even know
• 37:18
Speaker 1: who was making decisions when it comes to Epstein's cellmate.
• 37:22
Speaker 1: And that's not speculation. We've been through the documents. We've
• 37:25
Speaker 1: read through all of it. So no, I don't think
• 37:28
Speaker 1: that Tova Noel is some mastermind here and put together
• 37:31
Speaker 1: a plan to whack Jeffrey Epstein. I've never thought that.
• 37:35
Speaker 1: But was the table set? Were all the pieces... put
• 37:38
Speaker 1: in the right places, well, that seems like a very,
• 37:42
Speaker 1: very likely possibility. And whether there was somebody else in
• 37:45
Speaker 1: that cell, or the message that Epstein himself was, you
• 37:48
Speaker 1: better do it, or we will, the results are the same.
• 37:52
Speaker 1: And the fact that Tovin O'Well and Michael Thomas were
• 37:55
Speaker 1: sleeping at the time, never mind all the other policies
• 37:58
Speaker 1: that were broken, it makes it hard to believe. Now,
• 38:00
Speaker 1: if it was just one thing, you know, the cameras broke,
• 38:03
Speaker 1: but they were awake, or vice versa, cool, I could
• 38:06
Speaker 1: accept that. I'm not an unreasonable person, and I know
• 38:10
Speaker 1: shit happens at work. Sometimes things just go south, I
• 38:14
Speaker 1: get it. But this is a lot more than that.
• 38:18
Speaker 1: And there's something a lot more nefarious going on, at
• 38:21
Speaker 1: least in my opinion. The theory has emerged as the
• 38:24
Speaker 1: public attempts to track Epstein's final hours, including the release
• 38:28
Speaker 1: of documents tied to earlier investigations and long-standing questions about
• 38:32
Speaker 1: failures inside the federal jail system. And that's the excuse, right? Oh,
• 38:37
Speaker 1: these are systemic failures. Well, have any of them been addressed?
• 38:41
Speaker 1: How about the people that were in place to make
• 38:44
Speaker 1: sure the failures didn't happen? Were they replaced? Did they
• 38:47
Speaker 1: get fired? Were they charged? No, none of it happened.
• 38:51
Speaker 1: So they told you that there was all these systemic
• 38:53
Speaker 1: errors and nothing was ever corrected. Meanwhile, we know for
• 38:57
Speaker 1: a fact that Tova Noel and Michael Thomas both fell
• 39:01
Speaker 1: asleep and didn't do their job. And for that alone,
• 39:04
Speaker 1: they should have went to jail. Especially considering that somebody died.
• 39:08
Speaker 1: And I don't even care if it's Epstein. Anybody. Imagine
• 39:12
Speaker 1: if that was your father, your brother, whatever. And I
• 39:15
Speaker 1: don't want to hear, oh, well, they're in jail. Who cares?
• 39:17
Speaker 1: Fuck that. When the state takes custody of you, they
• 39:20
Speaker 1: have a responsibility to make sure you're relatively safe. Now,
• 39:24
Speaker 1: does that mean everything is going to be protected and
• 39:27
Speaker 1: you're going to be in bubble wrap? Of course not.
• 39:30
Speaker 1: But this is something completely unacceptable, especially considering there's been
• 39:36
Speaker 1: nothing done in the aftermath. When we heard about how
• 39:39
Speaker 1: systemic all this was, Epstein, the disgraced financier waiting trial
• 39:44
Speaker 1: on sex trafficking charges, was found unresponsive in his cell
• 39:47
Speaker 1: on August 10th, 2019. His death was ruled a suicide
• 39:51
Speaker 1: by hanging by the New York Medical Examiner, a finding
• 39:54
Speaker 1: later supported by the U.S. Department of Justice, though it's
• 39:57
Speaker 1: remained the subject of persistent public doubt. Yeah, it was
• 40:01
Speaker 1: disputed by Michael Bodden, who was actually present when the
• 40:05
Speaker 1: autopsy occurred. So again, I ask you, do you trust
• 40:08
Speaker 1: the state of New York, the federal government? And if
• 40:11
Speaker 1: you do, great. Awesome. But my question then would be,
• 40:16
Speaker 1: what have they done to garner that trust? Because every
• 40:20
Speaker 1: time I turn around, there's another scandal, another shit show,
• 40:25
Speaker 1: and nobody doing anything about it. So keep that shit
• 40:27
Speaker 1: in mind next time they tell you that, oh, it's
• 40:30
Speaker 1: just a systemic error. Oh, it has nothing to do
• 40:33
Speaker 1: with personnel. It has nothing to do with anybody setting
• 40:35
Speaker 1: the table. Okay, cool. So who was punished in the aftermath?
• 40:41
Speaker 1: Certainly not Tova Noel or Michael Thomas. They got suspended sentences. Noelle,
• 40:46
Speaker 1: who was initially charged and in connection with falsifying records
• 40:49
Speaker 1: during her shift, told lawmakers that the circumstances inside the
• 40:53
Speaker 1: MCC were shaped by what she described as systemic breakdowns
• 40:57
Speaker 1: rather than individual misconduct alone. It's not our fault. It's
• 41:01
Speaker 1: the system's fault. No, it's her fault. She fell asleep.
• 41:04
Speaker 1: Did she or did she not fall asleep? She did.
• 41:07
Speaker 1: So she can bullshit all she wants. But I've read
• 41:11
Speaker 1: the transcripts. Unlike Congress, we know they haven't read them
• 41:14
Speaker 1: because they don't really care. They're looking for a gotcha moment.
• 41:17
Speaker 1: But I've read them. And I know that everything Tova
• 41:21
Speaker 1: Noel's claiming here has been shit on by captains and
• 41:25
Speaker 1: lieutenants and everybody else. Now, that's not to say there
• 41:29
Speaker 1: wasn't some systemic error. There was. But to use that
• 41:32
Speaker 1: as the only reason why we're in this situation is
• 41:36
Speaker 1: not only unacceptable, it's ridiculous. Because here's the truth. If
• 41:40
Speaker 1: they would have done their rounds... if they didn't falsify
• 41:43
Speaker 1: that paperwork, Jeffrey Epstein might still be alive. So even
• 41:47
Speaker 1: if they didn't do it on purpose, even if they
• 41:50
Speaker 1: weren't bought and paid, they still fucked up. They still
• 41:54
Speaker 1: went to sleep. And Jeffrey Epstein died as a result.
• 41:58
Speaker 1: So is that systemic? Or is that individual? Yo, we
• 42:01
Speaker 1: live in a world where nobody wants to take self-responsibility
• 42:04
Speaker 1: for anything. It's always somebody else's fault. My advice? Take
• 42:09
Speaker 1: a look in the mirror. About 90% of your problems, self-made.
• 42:15
Speaker 1: She pointed to severe understaffing, poor training, and weak communication
• 42:19
Speaker 1: between management and frontline officers. We know that's a lie too.
• 42:23
Speaker 1: We know that there were stickies. We know that everybody
• 42:25
Speaker 1: knew that Jeffrey Epstein needed a cellmate. But instead of
• 42:29
Speaker 1: reaching out to somebody, instead of doing the right thing,
• 42:32
Speaker 1: Tova Noel, well, she was on the computer. She was sleeping.
• 42:36
Speaker 1: She was doing whatever she wanted. But sure, that's the
• 42:39
Speaker 1: system's fault, right? My responsibility to conduct counts and rounds
• 42:42
Speaker 1: wasn't properly executed because of severe understaffing, a lack of
• 42:46
Speaker 1: adequate training, inadequate communication between management and frontline correctional officers,
• 42:52
Speaker 1: and other systemic failures, she said in testimony, describing what
• 42:56
Speaker 1: she referred to as the MCC way. So all of
• 42:59
Speaker 1: that made her go to sleep? Severe understaffing made you
• 43:02
Speaker 1: go to bed? Oh no, you had to work overtime.
• 43:07
Speaker 1: How horrible for you. When I was working in entertainment,
• 43:12
Speaker 1: there were times where I would work 3-4 weeks, and
• 43:15
Speaker 1: I'm not even kidding you, with no days off, 18
• 43:17
Speaker 1: hours a day. Manual fucking labor. Unloading trucks, setting up concerts,
• 43:22
Speaker 1: the whole thing. I didn't fall asleep at work, so
• 43:25
Speaker 1: please save that bullshit, and if you're too tired, call in. So,
• 43:30
Speaker 1: I get it. There were issues. They were understaffed. The training,
• 43:35
Speaker 1: not great. But at the end of the day, you
• 43:39
Speaker 1: have to take self-responsibility. And if you're not up to
• 43:42
Speaker 1: snuff and your training's not good enough, why didn't you
• 43:45
Speaker 1: contact the captain? Why didn't you tell the other lieutenant, hey, look,
• 43:49
Speaker 1: I'm not comfortable here. I need to get more training.
• 43:54
Speaker 1: I guess that would be personal responsibility too. And as
• 43:58
Speaker 1: we see, she's allergic to that. Noel and another officer
• 44:03
Speaker 1: had been accused by prosecutors in 2019 of falsely recording
• 44:07
Speaker 1: that they had completed required checks on inmates in the
• 44:10
Speaker 1: special housing unit. Authorities alleged that during their shift, no
• 44:14
Speaker 1: proper monitoring took place for roughly eight hours before Epstein
• 44:17
Speaker 1: was found unresponsive. Not alleged. That's what happened. Like, what
• 44:22
Speaker 1: are we doing here? We're going to rewrite history? Alleged? No.
• 44:28
Speaker 1: She fell asleep. Jeffrey Epstein died. That's what we know
• 44:31
Speaker 1: for sure. Okay? Anything besides that is speculation. Both officers
• 44:38
Speaker 1: later entered deals with prosecutors and charges were dropped in 2021,
• 44:42
Speaker 1: closing the criminal case, but not the public debate surrounding it.
• 44:46
Speaker 1: It was a deferred prosecution. Okay? They weren't dropped. They
• 44:49
Speaker 1: were deferred, meaning they had to go through the steps,
• 44:52
Speaker 1: whatever they were, to get the charges dropped. And obviously,
• 44:57
Speaker 1: that was to control the blast radius. They didn't want
• 44:59
Speaker 1: this becoming what it's now become. And I don't know
• 45:02
Speaker 1: how much more evidence you folks need. Noelle told lawmakers
• 45:05
Speaker 1: that she believed the legal resolution would allow her to
• 45:07
Speaker 1: move on. But instead, she said that she's been engulfed
• 45:11
Speaker 1: by suspicion, online theories, and personal threats. Well, nobody should
• 45:15
Speaker 1: be threatening this lady. And I think that the problem, obviously,
• 45:19
Speaker 1: is much bigger than just Tova Noelle. She's just a
• 45:22
Speaker 1: little part of the story, right? And my biggest beef
• 45:25
Speaker 1: is that she just refuses to accept responsibility. Like, have
• 45:29
Speaker 1: a little bit of remorse. Yo, I screwed up. I
• 45:32
Speaker 1: fell asleep. I shouldn't have done that. But I most
• 45:36
Speaker 1: certainly didn't have anything to do with any of the
• 45:38
Speaker 1: other stuff that happened. But no, it's woe is me.
• 45:41
  Speaker 1: I'm the victim. It's nonsense. You're not a victim. You
• 45:45
Speaker 1: fell asleep. Dude died. That's the system's problem? Sounds like
• 45:51
Speaker 1: a you problem. I've received threats from strangers. I have
• 45:56
Speaker 1: witnessed strangers pontificate about whether I'm a murderer or that
• 45:59
Speaker 1: I'll end up dead, she said, describing harassment at her
• 46:02
Speaker 1: home and her workplace. Yo, anybody who shows up to
• 46:05
Speaker 1: somebody's house or workplace is a psychopath. The fuck is
• 46:09
Speaker 1: wrong with you? Stop it. Get help. In the words
• 46:15
Speaker 1: of Michael Jordan. She added that repeated media coverage based
• 46:19
Speaker 1: on what she called new theories with little to no
• 46:21
Speaker 1: factual basis had kept her tied to the case years
• 46:25
Speaker 1: after the fact. Blame the government. It's their fault. They
• 46:30
Speaker 1: haven't given us the right information. And everything they've told
• 46:33
Speaker 1: us about what happened in that jail has proven to
• 46:35
Speaker 1: be BS. So why should anyone believe the narratives that
• 46:39
Speaker 1: are being pitched? Her testimony also addressed specific details that
• 46:44
Speaker 1: have periodically resurfaced in public debate. One concerns internet searches
• 46:48
Speaker 1: linked to Epstein made during her shift, including a query
• 46:51
Speaker 1: referencing latest on Epstein in jail, shortly before his death
• 46:55
Speaker 1: was discovered. Suspicious, but not evidence. What it tells me
• 47:00
Speaker 1: is that Tova Noel was sitting at that computer, searching
• 47:04
Speaker 1: the internet like anybody else does when they're bored, and
• 47:07
Speaker 1: she fell asleep. Does it make her an evil monster?
• 47:09
Speaker 1: I don't think so. It makes her incompetent as a
• 47:12
Speaker 1: prison guard, but not a monster. and it doesn't make
• 47:16
Speaker 1: her part of the cover-up. I think she was the tool,
• 47:19
Speaker 1: that's all. Just like Michael Thomas. Noel told lawmakers she
• 47:23
Speaker 1: did not recall conducting a direct search and suggested that
• 47:26
Speaker 1: she had encountered news through routine browsing. She also responded
• 47:30
Speaker 1: to questions about bank transactions flagged as unusual by her
• 47:34
Speaker 1: financial institution. Noel said the deposits were personal savings and
• 47:39
Speaker 1: unrelated to Epstein or anyone connected to him. I have
• 47:43
Speaker 1: never been approached, offered, asked. Anything that's concerning my money
• 47:47
Speaker 1: has nothing to do with Epstein at all, she said.
• 47:50
Speaker 1: And that's probably true, right? But it's suspicious. And it's
• 47:55
Speaker 1: something that should have been investigated more thoroughly. Not because
• 47:59
Speaker 1: I think that Noel had anything to do with it,
• 48:02
Speaker 1: but for the sake of being thorough. Epstein's death has
• 48:05
Speaker 1: remained the boiling point for conspiracy theories fueled by documented
• 48:09
Speaker 1: failures at the jail and the sudden removal of a
• 48:12
Speaker 1: high-profile inmate awaiting trial. A 2023 inspector general report identified
• 48:17
Speaker 1: multiple lapses with the BOP, including staffing shortages and broken protocols,
• 48:23
Speaker 1: but concluded there was no evidence of homicide. Noel told
• 48:27
Speaker 1: lawmakers she was never properly trained for the unit where
• 48:30
Speaker 1: Epstein was held and argued that institutional failures, not individual intent,
• 48:35
Speaker 1: best explain what happened that night. She also dismissed claims
• 48:39
Speaker 1: linked to a brief orange flash seen on surveillance footage
• 48:42
Speaker 1: near Epstein's cell. saying it had no connection to her duties. Okay,
• 48:46
Speaker 1: who was it? Who was it then? Somebody was in
• 48:50
Speaker 1: the video? Are we just going to make pretend that
• 48:53
Speaker 1: didn't happen? I would like to ask the world to
• 48:58
Speaker 1: allow me to heal and move on with my life,
• 49:00
  Speaker 1: she said. I'm not a criminal. I didn't conspire to
• 49:03
Speaker 1: cause Mr. Epstein's death. Even as the official investigations have
• 49:06
Speaker 1: repeatedly reaffirmed the conclusion of suicide, the case continues to
• 49:10
Speaker 1: generate theories in public circles. Well, because nobody trusts institutions.
• 49:15
Speaker 1: And why should we? Especially considering, as they want to say,
• 49:18
Speaker 1: it was all... systemic, right? Well, if that's the case,
• 49:23
Speaker 1: nothing's been fixed. Nothing has been put to rights. Certainly
• 49:27
Speaker 1: nobody's been held accountable. So if the failures around Epstein
• 49:30
Speaker 1: were so systemic and they were so widespread, how come
• 49:33
Speaker 1: there's never been any kind of investigation into that? Can
• 49:38
Speaker 1: we get some hearings? can we have congressional oversight? That's
• 49:41
Speaker 1: the job, right? And if this was so systemic, then
• 49:44
Speaker 1: we need a full accounting of just how far it
• 49:46
Speaker 1: goes and how many institutions are affected. And the fact
• 49:50
Speaker 1: that we haven't seen that, the fact that we haven't seen,
• 49:53
Speaker 1: you know, all these different committees, investigations, oversight, leads me
• 49:58
Speaker 1: to believe that this is all just part of the
• 49:59
Speaker 1: cover story. Let's just call it systemic and then we
• 50:03
Speaker 1: can refer to the OIG investigators report and that'll back
• 50:07
Speaker 1: us up. And unfortunately, like I've told you guys for years,
• 50:11
Speaker 1: that OIG report was never meant to get to the
• 50:14
Speaker 1: bottom of anything. It was all part of the whitewash,
• 50:17
Speaker 1: just like everything that's come after it, in my opinion,
• 50:20
Speaker 1: is part of the cover-up. All the information that goes
• 50:24
Speaker 1: with this episode can be found in the description box.
