- 2:09Speaker 3: All right, so we were talking about this during one
- 2:12Speaker 3: of the breaks. Cbssports dot Com put out an article
- 2:17Speaker 3: and it was breaking down the ten worst quarterback rooms
- 2:21Speaker 3: in the National Football League entering twenty twenty six, with
- 2:24Speaker 3: their starting predictions for week number one. This is an
- 2:27Speaker 3: article again by CBS Sports Garrett. The Texans Paddel Hodell Hodell.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Texans, what do you think they have the worst?
- 2:39Speaker 3: I'm gonna go down le five, maybe not five. I'm
- 2:42Speaker 3: gonna go down the list and you tell me what
- 2:44Speaker 3: you think. At number ten, the Indianapolis Colts their quarterback
- 2:47Speaker 3: room Daniel Jones, Anthony Richardson, Riley Leonard, and Seth Hennigan
- 2:53Speaker 3: coming in at number nine, The Carolina Panthers Bryce Young,
- 2:56Speaker 3: can you Pickett? Will Gear Haines King coming in at
- 2:59Speaker 3: numberumber eight, The Minnesota Vikings Kyler Murray, JJ McCarthy, Carson
- 3:03Speaker 3: Wentz and Max Brosmer and coming in at number seven,
- 3:09Speaker 3: The New Orleans Saints with Tyler Shuck, Spencer Rattler, and
- 3:13Speaker 3: Zach Wilson. Now I'm gonna go on down the list.
- 3:16Speaker 3: We'll get to number one that I want you to
- 3:18Speaker 3: react to. The New Orleans Saints coming in on this
- 3:20Speaker 3: list at all, but certainly at number seven. At number
- 3:23Speaker 3: six in Miami Dolphins, Malik Willis Quinn Yours, Cam Miller,
- 3:26Speaker 3: Mark Gronkowski. Gronowski, he made the NFL shout out to him.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Iowa right, Yeah? From what South Dakota? Yeah.
- 3:37Speaker 3: At number five the Atlanta Falcons Michael Pennix Junior two
- 3:40Speaker 3: A tongue of I looa, Trevor Simeon and Jack Strand.
- 3:43Speaker 3: I have no idea who drack Strand is. And y'all
- 3:46Speaker 3: know that's saying something. Arizona Cardinals coming in at number four,
- 3:49Speaker 3: Jacoby Brissette, Gardner, Minshew Carson Beck and Keaton Slovas coming
- 3:54Speaker 3: in at number three. The Pittsburgh Steelers Mason Rudolph, Will
- 3:56Speaker 3: Howard and Drew Aller, the Jets coming in at number
- 3:59Speaker 3: ten to Gino Smith, k Club, Nick Brady Cook and
- 4:02Speaker 3: Bailey Zappi, and at number one the Cleveland Browns Deshaun Watson,
- 4:06Speaker 3: Shader Sanders, Dylan Gabriel and Taylon Green. So that is
- 4:10Speaker 3: your full list of, according to cbssports dot com, the
- 4:14Speaker 3: ten worst quarterback rooms in the NFL. And again, let's
- 4:18Speaker 3: go back to the New Orleans Saints being number seven
- 4:21Speaker 3: on this list, which I think at best is laughable.
- 4:24Speaker 2: That they come in at number seven on this list.
- 4:27Speaker 4: I know, certainly there is a lot of teams that
- 4:32Speaker 4: don't have the best quarterback room. There's multiple things I
- 4:35Speaker 4: don't agree with on this list. I don't know who
- 4:37Speaker 4: this guy is that's right in it, but certainly putting
- 4:39Speaker 4: the Saints at seven, it's clownish behavior. I think that
- 4:44Speaker 4: the Saints have a really good quarterback room. We're not
- 4:47Speaker 4: going to say the best yet, right, yes, but mid
- 4:52Speaker 4: mid tier to you know, I don't know, I don't
- 4:56Speaker 4: know what number I put him, but I certainly wouldn't
- 4:58Speaker 4: put him in the top. In no, I think they're
- 5:01Speaker 4: not top ten best, No, not top ten worst. I
- 5:03Speaker 4: think they're in a really good spot.
- 5:05Speaker 3: They've got a very promising Tyler Shuck. They've got a
- 5:08Speaker 3: backup in Spencer Rattler that, regardless of what you want
- 5:11Speaker 3: to say, held his own and played well enough.
- 5:15Speaker 2: The players weren't made around him.
- 5:16Speaker 3: He didn't elevate those around him, and that's why you
- 5:18Speaker 3: make a move to Tyler Shuck. So I understand, looking
- 5:21Speaker 3: back on it, why you did it. But still he
- 5:23Speaker 3: gave you enough.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Yep.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Right, they feel really good about your backup quarterback situation.
- 5:28Speaker 3: And then you sign Zach Wilson, who look has been
- 5:30Speaker 3: great by any means, but he's a number two overall pick.
- 5:32Speaker 2: He's a talented guys. You're three. Yep.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Let's take a look at the teams that they said
- 5:38Speaker 4: they're worst. Then I think about they said they're worse
- 5:42Speaker 4: than the Colts. Okay, that Colts came in at ten. Yeah,
- 5:47Speaker 4: Anthony Richardson, I would take Spencer Rattle over Anthony Richardson
- 5:50Speaker 4: all day, every day. Daniel Jones is going to be
- 5:54Speaker 4: coming off a brutal injury.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Yeah, and he has been bad for most of his career.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Well last year credit where credits do.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, so but I would put the Saints is
- 6:05Speaker 4: a better complete room than that the Carolina Panthers, Bryce Young,
- 6:12Speaker 4: Kenny Pickett, Will Greer, Haines King. They said that's a
- 6:16Speaker 4: better quarterback room than the New Orleans Saints. Just think
- 6:19Speaker 4: about that. Also, the Minnesota Vikings with Kyler Murray, JJ McCarthy,
- 6:26Speaker 4: Carson Wentz better. That one's gonna be arguable because Kyler
- 6:30Speaker 4: Murray has had his moments, right, so that's gonna be arguable.
- 6:33Speaker 4: There's a small sample size with Tyler Shuck. But here's
- 6:36Speaker 4: what's people that aren't even on the list that bothers me.
- 6:39Speaker 3: I've got two that are on the list. Hold on,
- 6:41Speaker 3: let me write them down, all right, and I want
- 6:44Speaker 3: you and then you're gonna say them and we're gonna see.
- 6:49Speaker 2: If we agree. All right. It's kind of like the
- 6:52Speaker 2: couple show.
- 6:53Speaker 4: This is like the mentalist number one on my list
- 6:57Speaker 4: that why aren't they in there as well?
- 6:59Speaker 2: The New Giants? Okay, and the Tennessee Titans.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Is that what you had?
- 7:07Speaker 2: Giants and Titan.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Let's go, because obviously we're doing a rookie comparison. Objectively,
- 7:14Speaker 4: Tyler Shuck performed better cam Ward Jackson Dark the Jackson
- 7:20Speaker 4: Darts stuff, and again he's exciting.
- 7:22Speaker 2: He's fund first.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Of the value that people are putting of him over
- 7:28Speaker 3: Tyler Shuck is shocking to me.
- 7:32Speaker 4: So New York Giants from Jackson Dart, Jamis Winston ran out. Okay,
- 7:37Speaker 4: Jameis Winston gives you the most credibility here from Londe,
- 7:42Speaker 4: we all love him, great personality, awesome, But you have
- 7:48Speaker 4: to start here by comparing QB one's Yeah, and Tyler
- 7:52Speaker 4: Schuck was second in Rookie of the Year voting. I
- 7:56Speaker 4: think Jackson Dart was fourth, fourth or fifth. Cam Ward
- 7:59Speaker 4: was even on their top five. I think he was
- 8:02Speaker 4: in tough five. Yeah, Okay. Then you go over to
- 8:04Speaker 4: the Tennessee Titans to chart cam Ward, Mitch Trubisky, Hendon Hooker,
- 8:13Speaker 4: and Will Loves.
- 8:14Speaker 2: I think is he's still still hurt kicking.
- 8:17Speaker 4: I forgot about hind So I guess what you gotta
- 8:20Speaker 4: look at, which quarterback to But to not even have
- 8:23Speaker 4: those guys, to have the Saints a seven, okay, if
- 8:26Speaker 4: you're gonna put him on the maybe they're maybe you
- 8:28Speaker 4: put them on ten, but they're not in that list.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Instead of these quarterback groups so the amount of credit
- 8:34Speaker 4: that they get really pisses me off. And we talked
- 8:36Speaker 4: about it with like the card value, the sports card value.
- 8:39Speaker 4: I don't understand. I get it, there's a bigger market
- 8:42Speaker 4: out there, but like, why are people but in Jackson
- 8:44Speaker 4: Art's a good player. And I don't want it to
- 8:48Speaker 4: sound like I'm knocking him, but the value of cam
- 8:52Speaker 4: Warden and Jackson Art over Tyler Shuck is what is
- 8:56Speaker 4: baffling too. Like, look at what Tyler Schuck was a
- 9:00Speaker 4: to do with what he did it with. Yes, Uber
- 9:05Speaker 4: driver was uber impressive. There you go, thank you. All right,
- 9:13Speaker 4: y'all know our feelings on this. Tyler Schuck is not
- 9:15Speaker 4: getting the credit that we think he deserves. And maybe he,
- 9:20Speaker 4: I mean he's the sample size are small, so maybe
- 9:22Speaker 4: he doesn't deserve the credit right now because he's got
- 9:25Speaker 4: to prove it some more. But if he doesn't deserve
- 9:27Speaker 4: the credit, those guys don't deserve the credit. That is
- 9:30Speaker 4: the only point that we are trying to make. That
- 9:34Speaker 4: from one year sample size from these guys, how does
- 9:38Speaker 4: everybody outside of Louisiana think that those guys are so
- 9:42Speaker 4: much better than Tyler Shuck?
- 9:43Speaker 2: I get it.
- 9:44Speaker 4: Draft position Okay, that's the only thing you got, that's
- 9:48Speaker 4: the only argument, that's the only fallback you have is
- 9:51Speaker 4: draft position. And that's a lazy take. That is a
- 9:56Speaker 4: lazy take.
- 9:57Speaker 6: So aren't they supposed to be ranking the rooms as
- 9:59Speaker 6: a whole. Yeah, because that's not what they're doing. They're
- 10:01Speaker 6: just ranking the starter. Like this will be a little
- 10:04Speaker 6: surprising coming from me, Timpa Bay Buccaneers should be on
- 10:07Speaker 6: this list. Hello, Like, sure, Bakers an established starter. They
- 10:11Speaker 6: have two quarterbacks right now. Their quarterback room is Baker
- 10:14Speaker 6: Mayfield and Jacob Browning. What happens if Baker Mayfield goes down,
- 10:17Speaker 6: It takes a lot of hits. You have two quarterbacks
- 10:20Speaker 6: on your roster right now. You're not ranking the quarterback rooms.
- 10:23Speaker 6: You're just ranking the starter.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I felt too.
- 10:27Speaker 3: And I'm a little bit surprised that the Houston Texans
- 10:29Speaker 3: aren't finding their will.
- 10:30Speaker 4: That's what I was about to bring them up, the
- 10:32Speaker 4: Texans not being on this list.
- 10:33Speaker 2: CJ. Stroud was arguably one of the worst quarterbacks in
- 10:36Speaker 2: the entire lead.
- 10:38Speaker 3: You started this trend, and I'm following you. If Joe
- 10:40Speaker 3: Flacco is on the Houston Texans, they might win.
- 10:43Speaker 2: They go to the go on.
- 10:45Speaker 4: No one's no one outside of the Rams were beating
- 10:47Speaker 4: the Seahawks in the NFL at the end of the year,
- 10:50Speaker 4: but they get to the super Bowl with Joe Flacco
- 10:52Speaker 4: as their quarterback with the Texas c J.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Stroud played historically bad last year. Last year.
- 10:57Speaker 4: Now, there's some games statistically, there's some throws he makes, Oh,
- 11:00Speaker 4: good player, But like you could make a highlight film
- 11:03Speaker 4: of him and argue that he was a good quarterback
- 11:06Speaker 4: last year.
- 11:07Speaker 2: But if you watch the entire film right in the
- 11:10Speaker 2: school level misses in.
- 11:12Speaker 3: The postseason, he had fifty one percent completion percentage, two touchdowns,
- 11:16Speaker 3: five interceptions, only five point eight yards per attempt.
- 11:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I could have done that right now, I believe
- 11:22Speaker 4: actually I could have done better probably right now.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Yeah, but I could have done that what he was doing.
- 11:29Speaker 2: And their room is Graham Mertz and Davis Mills.
- 11:31Speaker 4: So they to me they would be the number one
- 11:34Speaker 4: worst QB group based on last year performance and what
- 11:38Speaker 4: they got.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Now.
- 11:41Speaker 4: I don't think the Browns being number one is right either.
- 11:45Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, you could think what you want to
- 11:47Speaker 4: about Shador, but I mean.
- 11:48Speaker 3: I put in Pittsburgh ahead of them. Yeah, what's what's
- 11:51Speaker 3: Pittsburgh Mason Rudolph, Will Howard and Drew Aller.
- 11:56Speaker 2: That has to be number one? How's that? I'd probably
- 11:58Speaker 2: put the Jets over him. Yeah, so they have the
- 12:00Speaker 2: Steelers at three right now.
- 12:02Speaker 4: They have the Jets with Geno Smith, k Club, Nick Brady, Cook, Bailey, Zap.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Zappi whatever. I mean, a room full of.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Oh nice DeShawn Watson, whatever you think about him. He
- 12:18Speaker 4: had some good planing years, so he's been off for
- 12:20Speaker 4: four or five years, so we'll see. But like Shador
- 12:23Speaker 4: who think what you want about him, I get it whatever.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Mel Kiper loves him and he.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Did make like the twelfth alternate pro bowler Dylan Gabriel,
- 12:31Speaker 4: which I mean he won the job, multiple starts, multiple stars,
- 12:39Speaker 4: won the job.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Whatever you think about him as well.
- 12:41Speaker 4: But that's that room as a whole is not the
- 12:44Speaker 4: worst NFL quarterback room in the NFL. Wre's this guy
- 12:50Speaker 4: who's this writer when you send him a strongly worded message,
- 12:54Speaker 4: Garrett Poodle. Oh yeah, he's a mouth breather. I can
- 12:58Speaker 4: see now. He said it's a twelve minute read. You
- 13:07Speaker 4: don't know how fast I read, Bud. It's gonna be
- 13:10Speaker 4: at least twenty one.
- 13:12Speaker 2: But talk about it for a while too. That's like
- 13:15Speaker 2: I gotta set aside my afternoon. It's a word count
- 13:19Speaker 2: on this. Yeah.
- 13:24Speaker 3: The Saints quarterback room and the Saints backup like so
- 13:27Speaker 3: starter and backup Chuck and Rattler.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Just not getting.
- 13:32Speaker 3: The Panthers, not even if it feels like the due
- 13:34Speaker 3: diligence own their game tape from a year.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Just think about it.
- 13:37Speaker 4: Would you rather take the Saints quarterback room or the
- 13:41Speaker 4: Panthers quarterback room?
- 13:42Speaker 7: No?
- 13:42Speaker 5: I don't want Bryce Young.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Bryce Young, Canny Pickett and Will Greer? You want them over?
- 13:50Speaker 2: He played for Florida Florida West Virginia. Yeah, way is
- 13:54Speaker 2: Will Career? Is he the handsome one? No you're thinking
- 13:59Speaker 2: of Sam Hartman? Yeah? Him Hartman?
- 14:00Speaker 5: Oh okay, I thought we were going with another rule.
- 14:02Speaker 6: Here's got you said some nice lettuce though, nice good
- 14:06Speaker 6: looking fellow and seen him.
- 14:07Speaker 2: In a year?
- 14:09Speaker 5: Wait, so where was where were the Titans on there?
- 14:12Speaker 2: They were? They were not on here? Yeah are the Giants?
- 14:17Speaker 5: So I knew the Giants were, But like I have
- 14:18Speaker 5: the Raiders.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Kirk Cousins and Fernando Mendoza, like we know what Fernando
- 14:23Speaker 2: Bernando chosen one, but I you can't, can't put him
- 14:28Speaker 2: on this line.
- 14:28Speaker 3: I love Karkoh Thugens, but he hadn't been the same.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Maybe it was eight and O'Connell. They kept him off
- 14:39Speaker 2: the list.
- 14:39Speaker 4: How much has he made? Three forty three? Anybody right?
- 14:43Speaker 4: More money than anybody ever in the history of the NFL.
- 14:46Speaker 2: I think so.
- 14:46Speaker 3: I think that's right because those guys that's not bigger
- 14:49Speaker 3: deals haven't made it yet technically, like his deals have
- 14:51Speaker 3: all been guaranteed.
- 14:52Speaker 2: He's the guy that started to guaranteed money. I'm so
- 14:56Speaker 2: mad at you.
- 14:56Speaker 4: Still Saints no manager breeze, Why wait what remember that
- 15:01Speaker 4: maybe that'd take ahead. Drew had the opportunity to. So
- 15:05Speaker 4: Kirk had just signed his guaranteed contract, and then Drew
- 15:08Speaker 4: was up for a contract and he took a team
- 15:10Speaker 4: friendly deal, which is great, but like for the longevity
- 15:13Speaker 4: of the contracts and for the player, Drew had the
- 15:17Speaker 4: opportunity to, like Kirk Cousins does it. Everyone's like, eh, okay,
- 15:22Speaker 4: that's a one off type deal, like a Deshaun Watson
- 15:24Speaker 4: like type contract. Like yeah, I was so dumb, Like
- 15:26Speaker 4: we're not going to do it anymore. Yeah, I think
- 15:29Speaker 4: he had an opportunity to come on the foot Dells
- 15:30Speaker 4: and do another fully guaranteed contract, which at that point
- 15:34Speaker 4: would have been a trend, and be like, oh Drew
- 15:36Speaker 4: did it, Yeah, got it. Now that's relevant right now
- 15:40Speaker 4: he got a fully guaranteed contract because again, NFL players
- 15:44Speaker 4: are the only people in professional sports that don't get
- 15:47Speaker 4: fully guaranteed contracts, right, so like we want that to change,
- 15:54Speaker 4: that should change.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Doesn't make any sense.
- 15:57Speaker 4: It's the highest grossing sport and they don't get fully
- 16:01Speaker 4: guaranteed contracts. I always say that in a lot more
- 16:03Speaker 4: risk involved, Like I was very fortunate to start a
- 16:07Speaker 4: lot of games in the NFL.
- 16:09Speaker 3: And the eleventh guy on the end of the bench
- 16:12Speaker 3: for the Lakers makes thirty times what I made.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Oh yeah, for sure.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Now there's not as many. There's a lot of people
- 16:19Speaker 4: you gotta pay, I get it, but they also make
- 16:20Speaker 4: a lot more money. Yeah. So I just thought at
- 16:23Speaker 4: the time, we don't need to rehasher. But I thought
- 16:25Speaker 4: at the time Drew had a chance to well, I
- 16:27Speaker 4: mean to sign Tom. Tom did too.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Tom would make fourteen million some years where guys were
- 16:33Speaker 3: making thirty thirty five.
- 16:34Speaker 6: Yeah, he would always would always take less. Always was
- 16:38Speaker 6: if Tom takes less, everybody should take less.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Right, He was getting some for sure. To say that
- 16:44Speaker 2: Patriots paid him money to the table ball did a
- 16:46Speaker 2: little quilentar the situation could have you check those LLC documents.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Patriots would never have a scandal though, No I would.
- 16:56Speaker 2: I'd follow the money.
- 16:58Speaker 5: Was that like something to do with tree or something
- 17:00Speaker 5: like that? Or what am I thinking of?
- 17:03Speaker 6: Like he paid people for no show jobs? Right, and
- 17:05Speaker 6: then wrote it off as an LLC. Yeah, but what
- 17:08Speaker 6: didn't actually exist?
- 17:09Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 17:10Speaker 4: Yeah, Kuhi createdn LLC and through another company that he
- 17:13Speaker 4: owned owner paid him like fifteen million DOLLARLLC. Yeah, because
- 17:18Speaker 4: they paid him the max, but he was like the
- 17:20Speaker 4: max plus fifteen million dollars something. So they paid to
- 17:22Speaker 4: the LLC fifteen million dollars. That LLC was traced back
- 17:26Speaker 4: to Kawhi Leonard, so he paid him fifteen million outside,
- 17:30Speaker 4: which was part of his deal to get him to
- 17:31Speaker 4: go to the Clippers. So you don't think that do
- 17:35Speaker 4: you think that was.
- 17:36Speaker 2: A one off?
- 17:37Speaker 5: Okay? So it was a tree company, That's where I
- 17:40Speaker 5: got that from. Okay, it was a tree company, like
- 17:42Speaker 5: the LLC was a tree company.
- 17:44Speaker 4: Yeah, that's right, But it was like, but for marketing
- 17:47Speaker 4: or something like that, and there was no you know,
- 17:52Speaker 4: there was no evidence.
- 17:52Speaker 5: There's no trees.
- 17:54Speaker 6: Paying a tree company fifteen million. That's not a red
- 17:56Speaker 6: flag me, trees you're getting removed. But it's like the
- 18:00Speaker 6: problem is like quite I got drugged for that. But yeah,
- 18:03Speaker 6: it's like you're gonna say no, right, Like, nah, was
- 18:09Speaker 6: that his idea? Yeah, he didn't come up with that,
- 18:12Speaker 6: So you don't think Tom Brady's lost something.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Back to the original point here, and to wrap this
- 18:23Speaker 3: conversation up real quick, uh, the Saints and Titans did
- 18:27Speaker 3: play last year at the end of the year, once
- 18:29Speaker 3: Tyler Shuck became the starting quarterback, and this game was
- 18:32Speaker 3: in Tennessee. Cam woard twenty one forty two fifty one
- 18:37Speaker 3: six point three yards per attempt, did have two touds,
- 18:41Speaker 3: no interceptions, but completion percentage not great, didn't push the
- 18:44Speaker 3: ball down the field, took four sacks. Tyler Shuck twenty
- 18:48Speaker 3: two of twenty seven, three hundred and thirty three yards,
- 18:51Speaker 3: twelve point three yards per attempt, two touchdowns, only took
- 18:54Speaker 3: two sacks.
- 18:56Speaker 2: But Tennessee now on the list.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Saints number seven on the list wild quarterback wild behavior.
- 19:03Speaker 5: Hey, I I Minnesota on there.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Yeah, they were right above the Saints at eight. OK.
- 19:10Speaker 3: So they say they have a better quarterback room too. Uh,
- 19:13Speaker 3: Saints fans, don't worry. You've got a very healthy quarterback room.
- 19:16Speaker 3: That's not just us saying that. Kellimore their head coach.
- 19:18Speaker 3: When I've talked with him, he knows they've got a
- 19:20Speaker 3: healthy quarterback room. They've got two guys that they feel
- 19:23Speaker 3: that they can trust. If something happened, they can move forward.
- 19:26Speaker 3: And they're only going to keep going up. They are
- 19:29Speaker 3: young football players that are only going to get better.
- 19:31Speaker 3: And guess what, you got them better weapons, and you
- 19:33Speaker 3: got them better protection. Over free agency and the draft,
- 19:37Speaker 3: it's going to be better than it was last year
- 19:39Speaker 3: where he was throwing to guys that.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Are borderline NFL players. Now you've got some real guys. Right.
- 19:47Speaker 3: You went and got a first round receiver top ten.
- 19:49Speaker 3: You got one of the best guards, actually the best guard.
- 19:52Speaker 3: In free agency. You went and got a tight end
- 19:55Speaker 3: in the draft, and in free agency, you went and
- 19:58Speaker 3: signed a running back that's going to take pressure off
- 20:00Speaker 3: your quarterback and also can catch the football. And it
- 20:03Speaker 3: opens up ak for what he can be to the offense.
- 20:06Speaker 3: You're in a good spot. Don't worry. This list is terrible.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Saints are going to be fine. More OTB when we
- 20:11Speaker 3: come back off the bench, or you go to Russell
- 20:15Speaker 3: Pools dot com the website for Russell pool Company Jackknife.

- 21:35Speaker 2: The whole players down.
- 21:37Speaker 8: How do you explain every falling in a little bit of.
- 21:41Speaker 2: A guy like me in the first place?
- 21:43Speaker 1: Locked in UNSU football twenty four to seven, You're listening
- 21:47Speaker 1: to off the Bench.

- 22:08Speaker 3: were you laughing?
- 22:10Speaker 4: Yeahs In the chat they're like, we need a we
- 22:13Speaker 4: need a podcast with Flynn Hester and Marler call it
- 22:16Speaker 4: off the Rocker.
- 22:17Speaker 2: And somebody is like, now, marlar Wold want to be
- 22:19Speaker 2: called off the Marler? Really so would He's like yeah,
- 22:25Speaker 2: but like can I take it over? Yeah? But like
- 22:27Speaker 2: I my name anywhere and name in there.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Like we're going to be there for thirty minutes out
- 22:32Speaker 3: of the five hours, but we should rebrand it with
- 22:35Speaker 3: me and mine.
- 22:37Speaker 5: I told you all me, Him and Rivers went to
- 22:39Speaker 5: lunch for his birthday for Synco and Marler on Sure Monday,
- 22:44Speaker 5: and I was like, should we all three taken out
- 22:48Speaker 5: or all before we go because we are not going
- 22:50Speaker 5: to get not one conversation finished, and we didn't. I
- 22:54Speaker 5: don't think we finished one topic. We were all over
- 22:59Speaker 5: the place. A normal person watching our lunch probably was
- 23:02Speaker 5: so stressed.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Out with him. No, yeah, for sure. I mean people
- 23:09Speaker 3: enjoy it for sure. Has to reel him in, which
- 23:14Speaker 3: I can't fathom.
- 23:15Speaker 4: When he came in on Monday, like he was way
- 23:17Speaker 4: more a d D in studio than he was he
- 23:21Speaker 4: I think he was. He's a little nervous that first
- 23:24Speaker 4: time out of the preakdowns here, my god, all over
- 23:30Speaker 4: the place. And I asked him. I was like, hey, hey,
- 23:32Speaker 4: you ever thought about, you know, some medication And he's like, no,
- 23:38Speaker 4: I don't think it's very healthy for me as he gulps.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Down a five hours this man sent us a box
- 23:43Speaker 3: of ten value pack of five hour energies that he had.
- 23:46Speaker 3: I didn't know they sold those in value packs for him.
- 23:50Speaker 3: I had no idea that either he's got a.
- 23:53Speaker 4: He's a frequent flyer, he gets deals at like a
- 23:57Speaker 4: normal buyers just can't get I.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Guess that it's true. Never seen anything like that.
- 24:02Speaker 4: Yeah, he needs definitely needs some medication and then fast
- 24:06Speaker 4: acting too.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Maybe keys to it.
- 24:09Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe keyster.
- 24:13Speaker 2: It mm hmm.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Sorry in truth of that, yeah, I'll be we I
- 24:21Speaker 4: forgot say everything that creeps up.
- 24:23Speaker 5: Here, I'd be fighting for my life back here, and
- 24:27Speaker 5: sometimes it comes out and it's not good.
- 24:32Speaker 4: Sometimes I'll watch the clips of like what some stuff
- 24:34Speaker 4: you'll post from our show, and I'll and I'll watch
- 24:37Speaker 4: it because I wanted to watch, like the one yesterday,
- 24:39Speaker 4: Taylor's atrocities.
- 24:41Speaker 5: Uh, his war crimes.
- 24:44Speaker 2: As far as the laundro the troops.
- 24:48Speaker 5: I'm like, send him to Iran.
- 24:51Speaker 2: I was watching.
- 24:52Speaker 5: I was like, I move a lot, Iran, I guess.
- 24:55Speaker 4: You know, And I was like, man, I should said
- 24:58Speaker 4: I should sit a little bit more.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Still.
- 25:00Speaker 6: Yeah, every every live read, when I go from Jake
- 25:03Speaker 6: to you, I'm constantly adjusted.
- 25:05Speaker 2: It's true.
- 25:06Speaker 3: You hit the desk a lot mhm, it's okay. And
- 25:11Speaker 3: if you're making a point with a pin.
- 25:14Speaker 5: Oh you do love to do the pin.
- 25:16Speaker 4: Maybe i won't hit the pen anymore. Maybe I'll point
- 25:18Speaker 4: it at the screen.
- 25:20Speaker 5: Let's get you a laser pointer.
- 25:22Speaker 2: I'm making a point.
- 25:22Speaker 3: I do kind of like have like the I don't
- 25:25Speaker 3: even know what you call this move, but a point.
- 25:27Speaker 3: And you're like trying to make the points with your hands.
- 25:31Speaker 4: But you're like, you gotta go to the tape sometimes.
- 25:33Speaker 4: Now I see what you guys see, and I'm gonna try.
- 25:35Speaker 2: To be better.
- 25:36Speaker 5: No, we love you for who you are.
- 25:38Speaker 4: Thank you and asking you to change diagnosed it's a
- 25:41Speaker 4: medical condition.
- 25:41Speaker 2: I'm asking you to be a little bit.
- 25:43Speaker 5: It's a I'm diagnosed. So at least you've got that
- 25:46Speaker 5: going for you.
- 25:48Speaker 3: And you've got you've got a fellow squirrel seer up
- 25:50Speaker 3: here with you, Bud, So we're good.
- 25:53Speaker 5: This show also never goes anywhere, like we don't ever
- 25:56Speaker 5: finish a converse, which is fine.
- 25:58Speaker 3: This is who we are or morning show. We just
- 26:00Speaker 3: want you to have a good time on the way
- 26:02Speaker 3: go anywhere.
- 26:02Speaker 5: Content wise, I mean, we get it in sometimes, but
- 26:08Speaker 5: I do love that anytime we're having a conversation.
- 26:12Speaker 3: I'm like, all right, like Taylor's gonna need something for socials,
- 26:14Speaker 3: He's gonna need something for YouTube, and then we'll bring
- 26:16Speaker 3: it up and kind of reset.
- 26:17Speaker 2: And I can feel the groans I gave. We gave
- 26:23Speaker 2: you some saints, we gave.
- 26:24Speaker 5: You good saints stuff.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Yeah, and we're gonna give you lo shoe later. Like,
- 26:27Speaker 2: don't ask for too much.
- 26:28Speaker 6: Look, I'm at the point now to where I'm gonna
- 26:31Speaker 6: just grab screenshots to YouTube, just make an AI video.
- 26:34Speaker 2: And I can't promise what the video is gonna say,
- 26:38Speaker 2: but I don't care. Just feel like here, just don't
- 26:40Speaker 2: put us on a boat. Oh it's true.
- 26:44Speaker 5: God, yeah, boats are very controversial right now, between the
- 26:47Speaker 5: diet Diana Russini migrable stuff and then the hantavirus. Oh yeah,
- 26:52Speaker 5: I told you all they.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Should have just and remember when the Giants and Odell
- 26:56Speaker 3: went on the boat for the playoffs.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Yeah, like that still lives out there too, that want playoffs.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Then are we saying nothing good happens on a boat.
- 27:04Speaker 5: I don't think I've ever been on a boat where
- 27:06Speaker 5: something good happened.
- 27:07Speaker 2: I mean outside of putting the line.
- 27:09Speaker 5: I mean Natalie Wood or Woods would.
- 27:15Speaker 2: The girl that I remember the name, I don't remember
- 27:17Speaker 2: what she was like.
- 27:17Speaker 5: An actress, and she's married to.
- 27:22Speaker 2: The guy who played number two in Austin Powers.
- 27:26Speaker 4: Number two work for right? Yeah, I don't know anything else. Okay,
- 27:33Speaker 4: all right, we.
- 27:33Speaker 5: Don't ever know what really happened. But the idea is
- 27:36Speaker 5: that he threw her overboard.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Yeah no, that's what I've always heard.
- 27:40Speaker 5: Yeah, but I mean we don't know that. So, yeah,
- 27:42Speaker 5: nothing good happens on boats. Like you had to get
- 27:47Speaker 5: on a boat to get Robert, don't weren't boats like
- 27:51Speaker 5: all in Epstein's Island too?
- 27:53Speaker 2: Like I don't know, Well, you had to get there
- 27:55Speaker 2: by boat? Get it that Jo could Choppa?
- 28:00Speaker 5: So I don't think i'll ever get on a.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Team. Note boats, I like a boat, like a boat. Now,
- 28:11Speaker 2: I don't love a saltwater boat. I don't ever really
- 28:14Speaker 2: you're telling me.
- 28:16Speaker 4: I don't know, Like I think more or better things
- 28:18Speaker 4: happen on fresh water boats.
- 28:22Speaker 5: I've been on a pontoon.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Yeah, good times on a boat. But then yeah, by
- 28:28Speaker 2: is it a little a little?
- 28:34Speaker 4: Yeah that waves and rays? I think they So what's
- 28:40Speaker 4: going on with the hannavirus? I don't know a lot
- 28:42Speaker 4: about it.
- 28:42Speaker 2: I don't know what to say.
- 28:43Speaker 5: There's a cruise that like which are basically moving incubators.
- 28:48Speaker 5: To me, yeah, they're disgusting. I don't think I'll ever
- 28:52Speaker 5: go on a cruise ever. I got no will to
- 28:55Speaker 5: do that, right because I don't even like being on
- 28:56Speaker 5: a plane. So being on a boat in the middle
- 28:59Speaker 5: of the ocean feels more like I can't.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Escape if kids, Yeah, because you can't go anywhere, yeah, anywhere.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Seven days is too long. I think five days of
- 29:12Speaker 2: sweet Spot seven seven step two.
- 29:15Speaker 5: So there's a boat where there are people that had
- 29:17Speaker 5: hand to virus, which is they thought just transmitted through rodents,
- 29:23Speaker 5: and then I think a couple of people died from it,
- 29:27Speaker 5: and then so they kind of had it like quarantined
- 29:30Speaker 5: for a little bit, and then they went to the
- 29:32Speaker 5: Canary Islands in Spain. I think they let them out
- 29:35Speaker 5: in the Canary Islands. And now there's people like getting
- 29:37Speaker 5: on planes and stuff that have the virus and the
- 29:42Speaker 5: thing is for like eight weeks, so sometimes you might
- 29:45Speaker 5: not even know that you have it, and they're just
- 29:48Speaker 5: like out here getting on planes spreading it. I think
- 29:51Speaker 5: in Switzerland they said that there's some cases maybe they're
- 29:54Speaker 5: looking into like three people here in the US that
- 29:56Speaker 5: might have it.
- 29:58Speaker 2: So they got it on the on the boat. There's
- 30:02Speaker 2: rats on the boat, that's what they say.
- 30:05Speaker 5: But then they said that they went to go look
- 30:07Speaker 5: on the boat. They sent health teams onto the boat
- 30:09Speaker 5: and there they didn't see any rats on there. So
- 30:12Speaker 5: now they think it's human to human. So I don't
- 30:19Speaker 5: know what kind of probably, but I would have just
- 30:23Speaker 5: left them on the boat. So how does it you're
- 30:25Speaker 5: like wanting COVID Part two to happen.
- 30:29Speaker 4: Oh, they're just they're just itching to get the disease
- 30:32Speaker 4: from the rat in the first place. Drop droppings in
- 30:35Speaker 4: the water source. Yeah, in London, right, those those the
- 30:38Speaker 4: black death.
- 30:39Speaker 5: Yeah, that was the bone that or like I guess
- 30:41Speaker 5: maybe breathing it in.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Breathing, No, it can't be. There no.
- 30:48Speaker 6: Human contact the virus mainly by breathing in aerosolized virus
- 30:53Speaker 6: particles from rodent droppings or nests during cleaning.
- 30:56Speaker 4: Real, just smelling their poop, yeap, smelling wrap poop, gave
- 31:00Speaker 4: you a.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Hand virus of rats?
- 31:05Speaker 5: Right, rats three US zero COVID was a bat right,
- 31:13Speaker 5: it was a lab no no, But they told us
- 31:17Speaker 5: it was a bat.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's right.
- 31:19Speaker 5: But they told us it was bad. But I think
- 31:23Speaker 5: you're right. It was created in a lab, so it
- 31:25Speaker 5: was Handta virus and they just put it in the cruise.
- 31:29Speaker 4: So this that's wild, Like you can get a virus
- 31:34Speaker 4: just from smelling poop.
- 31:36Speaker 5: Yeah. Anyway, I'm out on boats and I'm out on
- 31:40Speaker 5: rat ain't a cruise.
- 31:41Speaker 4: I ain't taking a chance of it becoming a poop
- 31:43Speaker 4: cruise situation. I'm not even taking the risk.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Why.
- 31:47Speaker 5: Yeah, I just wish people would have considered the rest
- 31:50Speaker 5: of us before letting them off the boat. What are
- 31:55Speaker 5: we doing.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Letting them off the boat?
- 32:02Speaker 5: Why would you do that? Spain?
- 32:04Speaker 2: Oh it's Spain.
- 32:05Speaker 5: Yeah, in the Canary Islands.
- 32:06Speaker 2: They don't control that, right, it's the cap'n.
- 32:10Speaker 4: Okay, if you got to be to be a cruise
- 32:12Speaker 4: ship captain though.
- 32:14Speaker 6: They practically drive themselves and every boat get out of
- 32:18Speaker 6: your way. You don't even got to turn.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Yeah what do you do? Uh?
- 32:24Speaker 3: We take a break, That's what we do. But before

- 34:51Speaker 3: sweep of South Carolina, the midweek win you had against
- 34:54Speaker 3: the Green Wave, and what LSU's gotta do moving forward, obviously,
- 34:59Speaker 3: to try to better improve that resume and see that
- 35:02Speaker 3: they can find their way into a regional It's gonna
- 35:07Speaker 3: happen for LSU softball. They unfortunately go down last night
- 35:12Speaker 3: to Georgia seven to three. In the SEC tournament and
- 35:17Speaker 3: so now they will see where they end up.
- 35:22Speaker 5: Georgia jumped ahead pretty yeah early in that game, and.
- 35:28Speaker 2: So LSU thank it.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Kind of right there on the verge of if we're
- 35:34Speaker 3: gonna have postseason based or softball in Tiger Park.
- 35:37Speaker 5: Yeah, gotta look at the rest of the let me see,
- 35:44Speaker 5: because Texas is I just feeling good.
- 35:46Speaker 2: About them too. Well.
- 35:47Speaker 3: The art like in RPI, like you're thirteen, so you've
- 35:50Speaker 3: got a chance. Yeah, you're thirteen in RPI. Now George
- 35:54Speaker 3: is right behind you at fourteen. So I felt like
- 35:57Speaker 3: this was a big game. So you still have a
- 36:00Speaker 3: a chance to host softball Tiger Park, and that's going
- 36:02Speaker 3: to be important because.
- 36:04Speaker 2: As we know, as we've laid out LSU.
- 36:07Speaker 3: Twenty eight and five at home, twenty eight and five
- 36:11Speaker 3: inside Tiger Park. Away from Tiger Park, nine and twelve,
- 36:16Speaker 3: got a host nine and twelve. So this is a
- 36:20Speaker 3: team certainly that feeds off the energy of a home crowd,
- 36:24Speaker 3: regardless of the opponent. They have been so much better
- 36:27Speaker 3: at home neutral site one in five, on the road
- 36:30Speaker 3: eight and seven. So you are nine and twelve away
- 36:33Speaker 3: from Tiger Park and you're right there again RPI is thirteen, so.
- 36:38Speaker 2: You're likely to get one of the final spots, in
- 36:41Speaker 2: the final hosting spots. So we'll see.
- 36:44Speaker 3: This game would have been big considering George's right there
- 36:46Speaker 3: at fourteen, but you drop it seven to three.
- 36:54Speaker 5: I'm looking at the rest.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Of the that's your reaction. I know.
- 37:01Speaker 4: I was feeling so good about me too, all things.
- 37:04Speaker 4: On the baseball and softball diamonds. It was right there
- 37:09Speaker 4: in front of them, all right, we're gonna.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Make a run.
- 37:12Speaker 5: They do have a better road record than Georgia does.
- 37:16Speaker 5: Oh let's see, Oh Arkansas. I didn't realize Arkansas was Yeah,
- 37:24Speaker 5: I did not realize that. I mean, no way, Oklahoma's
- 37:30Speaker 5: not hosting.
- 37:33Speaker 2: Are they good at.
- 37:35Speaker 3: If you're into that, yeah, l you did beat them
- 37:43Speaker 3: so in fact, till I saw one. I did see
- 37:47Speaker 3: a projection on one of the softball sites and it
- 37:53Speaker 3: had LSU just missing out, like literally getting like, yeah,
- 37:58Speaker 3: the first not to host.
- 37:59Speaker 2: So the gonna be right there.
- 38:00Speaker 3: They're gonna be on the verge and it's gonna come
- 38:03Speaker 3: down probably to some of those other teams that are
- 38:06Speaker 3: right around them and what they do, how many more
- 38:07Speaker 3: wins they can add and what that RPI final standing
- 38:10Speaker 3: kind of looks like for LSU softball.
- 38:12Speaker 2: But yeah, they go down seven to three.
- 38:14Speaker 5: Y'all who has them hosting?
- 38:17Speaker 2: Let's see, I.
- 38:18Speaker 3: Believe y'are fourteen, fifteen, thirteen, thirteen, Okay, let's go. So
- 38:22Speaker 3: you're saying there's a chance, there might be a chance,
- 38:26Speaker 3: and again when you are.
- 38:29Speaker 5: Because they're sixteen, right, they're sixteen in the in.
- 38:32Speaker 3: The rankings, they are actually eighteen, I believe, like in
- 38:37Speaker 3: the top twenty five.
- 38:37Speaker 5: But say there's sixteen sites like cost sites, right, Yes,
- 38:41Speaker 5: they're sixteen. Yes, I actually think LSU has a good
- 38:45Speaker 5: chance at it.
- 38:46Speaker 3: Yeah, this almost would have guaranteed that one win against
- 38:48Speaker 3: Georgia would have probably guaranteed you. Now I've sweated out
- 38:51Speaker 3: a little bit, but I'm leaning towards them hosting considering
- 38:54Speaker 3: the RPI and some of the wins they've got on
- 38:56Speaker 3: their resume, so I.
- 38:58Speaker 2: Don't really have ugly losses there.
- 39:01Speaker 3: The situation we talk about with baseball, like some of
- 39:03Speaker 3: their resume is the Quad four losses that they have
- 39:07Speaker 3: to really bad baseball teams.
- 39:09Speaker 5: No softball got it done where they had to, except
- 39:13Speaker 5: for I guess yesterday, but Clearwater really was just like
- 39:23Speaker 5: the one.
- 39:23Speaker 2: I was just sitting there like, whoa boy, right, Matt,
- 39:27Speaker 2: mm hmm. Do you remember clear Water? I do? Wasn't good.
- 39:35Speaker 4: Here?
- 39:35Speaker 2: The at least two Nebraska? Who else? If you get
- 39:46Speaker 2: another one, I'm gonna yeah, so proud of you right now.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Another one Florida Atlantic kind of close, actually very close. Yeah, yeah,
- 39:59Speaker 2: I don't remember I told.
- 39:59Speaker 5: You two more, but yeah, the Nebraska one hought me off.
- 40:05Speaker 3: Guard credit to myself. No, I thought it was definitely cheating. Nebraska.
- 40:11Speaker 3: You beat Oklahom State, you lost to Duke, you lost
- 40:13Speaker 3: the u c F and you lost too well more
- 40:16Speaker 3: you got it, you got this.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Yep, we lost to TCU.
- 40:23Speaker 5: No, but I don't hate that guy.

- 40:34Speaker 4: in l A.
- 40:35Speaker 3: I was gonna give him like a basket, a random
- 40:37Speaker 3: basketball player that went there see if he could get it.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Russell Westbrook, Kevin Love lou Al Sander for Russell Westbek.
- 40:45Speaker 2: He went to the NBA from high school. In fairness,
- 40:50Speaker 2: I don't remember him at U c l A at all.
- 40:52Speaker 4: I think he's been the NBA a long time. It's
