- 0:17Speaker 2: Fox Sports Radio.
- 0:20Speaker 1: It is a Think About It Thursday here on Stugatz & Company.
- 0:22Speaker 1: We'll get to that in just a second. John Marossi
- 0:25Speaker 1: going to join us in about 20 minutes to talk
- 0:27Speaker 1: some baseball.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Taylor, put it on the poll, please.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Would you blame the Rays if they sold nothing but
- 0:33Speaker 1: Yankee merchandise at their stadium?
- 0:36Speaker 3: Are you going to Tampa, Taylor?
- 0:39Speaker 4: I'm considering it, but I'm looking at the ticket prices
- 0:42Speaker 4: right now. Looks like it's like $ 200 for a standing
- 0:45Speaker 4: room only and then– Probably. When I go to a game,
- 0:48Speaker 4: I'm not going to standing room only. I want a
- 0:50Speaker 4: good seat. And right now it looks like good seats
- 0:52Speaker 4: are like $ 400. But it is my best option right
- 0:55Speaker 4: now to go because it's a lot cheaper to drive
- 0:58Speaker 4: to Tampa, get a ticket for a game at the Trop,
- 1:01Speaker 4: than fly to New York and go to Yankee Stadium.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Yankee fans are driving the prices up, right? It has
- 1:06Speaker 3: to be.
- 1:07Speaker 4: It's only Yankee fans.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Rays fans aren't paying a penny for those things.
- 1:13Speaker 5: If the Rays are playing the Guardians, those tickets are $ 40.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Yes, it is the best home field advantage in sports
- 1:18Speaker 1: when you're not playing at home.
- 1:20Speaker 3: The Yankees playing in Tampa, right? Can you think of
- 1:23Speaker 3: another one?
- 1:23Speaker 6: Or Red Sox. Or Red Sox. If the Red Sox
- 1:26Speaker 6: were playing this game, it would be the same.
- 1:28Speaker 4: So I've never been to Tropicana Field, but I've seen
- 1:31Speaker 4: it on TV a bunch.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:33Speaker 4: It doesn't really look like it would be on my
- 1:35Speaker 4: bucket list in terms of MLB stadiums to visit.
- 1:38Speaker 3: It's not on anyone's bucket list for anything.
- 1:40Speaker 6: No, it's not.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Neither is Tampa, by the way.
- 1:44Speaker 6: How dare you?
- 1:46Speaker 1: Why are you saying that? I guess it was on
- 1:47Speaker 1: Tom Brady's bucket list.
- 1:49Speaker 3: It was.
- 1:50Speaker 4: The Tropicana Field feels like if I was doing like
- 1:53Speaker 4: a let's check off all 30 MLB stadiums, this is
- 1:58Speaker 4: like one of the ones you get to the very end.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Yes, you wait for Tampa to open a new stadium
- 2:03Speaker 1: if they ever do. They have enough Yankee fans.
- 2:06Speaker 5: I hear there's a nice little breakfast lunch spot on
- 2:09Speaker 5: Southdale Mabry called Mama's.
- 2:12Speaker 6: Kitchen that you should go to if you're in Tampa.
- 2:14Speaker 6: That's all I've heard about Tampa.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Wow, free meal.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Yes, and who'd you hear that from? Kay Funk?
- 2:20Speaker 5: My dad.
- 2:22Speaker 3: That's right. I forgot about that.
- 2:24Speaker 6: It happens to be his.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Yes, we do have a football game this evening. We
- 2:28Speaker 1: have game three, the best two words in sports, Phillies
- 2:30Speaker 1: and Braves. but there is a football game this evening.
- 2:33Speaker 1: The Browns and the Steelers, no one expected the Browns
- 2:36Speaker 1: to be 2-1 at this point in the season, yet
- 2:38Speaker 1: they are 2-1. Does this game pique your curiosity, fellas?
- 2:43Speaker 3: Taylor, I'll start with you. Are you into this game?
- 2:45Speaker 3: I'm kind of into this game.
- 2:46Speaker 1: I want to see if Deshaun Watson continues to play
- 2:49Speaker 1: well and if Browns fans continue to rally behind this
- 2:52Speaker 1: team and Deshaun Watson.
- 2:53Speaker 4: So it piques my curiosity just because it's football. Like
- 2:57Speaker 4: if NFL games are happening, I'm going to be watching. Now,
- 3:01Speaker 4: the interesting question is what gets TV one priority? Because
- 3:06Speaker 4: right now I'm looking, I think it's Philly's Braves getting
- 3:09Speaker 4: TV one and then TV two with no sound is,
- 3:12Speaker 4: is this Steelers Browns rock fight that we're preparing for Mikey.
- 3:18Speaker 5: I have a theory about Thursday night football that it
- 3:21Speaker 5: doesn't matter who's playing.
- 3:22Speaker 6: It turns into a rock fight.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yes.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:24Speaker 5: Although I'm wondering if you have two teams that constantly
- 3:27Speaker 5: make every Sunday a rock fight, will this then flip
- 3:30Speaker 5: the script and actually turn into a shootout?
- 3:33Speaker 2: Wow.
- 3:33Speaker 1: So opposite of what they would do on Sunday is
- 3:36Speaker 1: what you're saying.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Yeah. Put it on the poll. Taylor is Thursday night football.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Always a rock fight.
- 3:43Speaker 4: So if Mikey's theory holds, then people should love the
- 3:47Speaker 4: over because it's The lowest point total this week for
- 3:50Speaker 4: over-unders is this matchup, Steelers-Browns at 38.5, and then very
- 3:56Speaker 4: closely behind, it's Dolphins-Vikings.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Yes, football is such a cruel sport, man.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Those teams being 2-1, both of those teams, one with
- 4:03Speaker 1: Deshaun Watson, one with Aaron Rodgers, and yet the Rams
- 4:07Speaker 1: are 1-2.
- 4:08Speaker 3: The Chargers are 0-3. The Texans are 0-3. What a
- 4:11Speaker 3: cruel sport, man.
- 4:13Speaker 4: Yeah, but I don't know if you saw, the NFL
- 4:14Speaker 4: told Sean McVay that Rams defensive pass interference was the
- 4:18Speaker 4: wrong call.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Oh.
- 4:19Speaker 4: So I guess the Rams should take some solace in that.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Not that the NFL is reversing anything.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Right.
- 4:24Speaker 6: Just, hey.
- 4:25Speaker 4: That loss you guys had?
- 4:26Speaker 3: Our bad.
- 4:27Speaker 1: What's the point in telling him that? It doesn't make
- 4:29Speaker 1: him feel any better. He's still one and two.
- 4:32Speaker 4: There's no action behind it.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Be sure to catch live editions of Stu Gatz and
- 4:39Speaker 2: Company live weekdays at 3 p.m.
- 4:41Speaker 6: Eastern, 12 p.m. Pacific.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Let's get to think about it Thursday here before John
- 4:48Speaker 1: Marossi joins us to talk some baseball.
- 4:50Speaker 3: What do you have for us, Taylor? Imaging.
- 4:54Speaker 2: You know that segment, Talk About It Tuesday, on Hockman, Crowder,
- 4:58Speaker 2: and Solero? This is like that, but bigger and better.
- 5:03Speaker 2: And 48 hours later, this is Think About It Thursday.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Every Thursday, we like to think this is Taylor's attempt
- 5:12Speaker 1: to counter-program a local showdown here in Miami.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Hockman, Solero, and Crowder. Did I get it right?
- 5:20Speaker 4: Solana.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Oh, man.
- 5:22Speaker 5: Solana.
- 5:23Speaker 3: I tried that time. I actually did.
- 5:26Speaker 4: So I have two hypotheticals. One is to think about
- 5:29Speaker 4: it Thursday, and then I've got one kind of in
- 5:31Speaker 4: the holster because I don't think with your guys' fandom,
- 5:34Speaker 4: it's going to be much to think about.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 5:36Speaker 4: So that's why I have a backup just in case.
- 5:39Speaker 3: Wow, a second in the holster. First time.
- 5:41Speaker 6: Wow. To really think about it Thursday.
- 5:43Speaker 5: Yep.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Have to think twice.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Your biggest rival wins the next four Super Bowls, but
- 5:51Speaker 4: your team wins the fifth. Do you take that deal?
- 5:55Speaker 3: Yes.
- 5:57Speaker 6: I've already, I've lived this.
- 5:58Speaker 3: Well, hold on a second.
- 5:59Speaker 6: I've lived this.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Mikey, hold on. Who's our biggest rival? You're going to
- 6:01Speaker 3: say it's the Patriots. I think it's the Patriots. For
- 6:03Speaker 3: a while, it was the Dolphins.
- 6:04Speaker 4: I think the Dolphins' biggest rival is the Jets. I
- 6:07Speaker 4: think the Jets' biggest rival is the Patriots.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Do you agree with that, Mike?
- 6:11Speaker 5: Ooh.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Sure.
- 6:13Speaker 1: But for a while, it was Jet Dolphin. That was
- 6:15Speaker 1: the big rivalry in the AFC East, right?
- 6:18Speaker 5: Okay, so this actually changes it because if I have
- 6:21Speaker 5: to watch four Dolphins Super Bowls, or maybe even worse,
- 6:25Speaker 5: because the only thing we have over the Bills is
- 6:27Speaker 5: we have one Super Bowl and they have none.
- 6:29Speaker 6: If I have to watch them win four... That's tough. Yeah,
- 6:33Speaker 6: I still do it. Yeah, I still do it.
- 6:35Speaker 3: To get one.
- 6:35Speaker 6: I still do it.
- 6:36Speaker 3: So the fifth year, we get a Super Bowl. The
- 6:38Speaker 3: Jets win a Super Bowl.
- 6:39Speaker 4: You're guaranteed a Super Bowl. We're guaranteed a Super Bowl.
- 6:41Speaker 4: But you basically have to live through, in this case,
- 6:44Speaker 4: a Josh Allen dynasty. Yes.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Get ready to go to the one in the holster.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I will tell you, I'll watch any team win four
- 6:50Speaker 1: consecutive Super Bowls if you're guaranteeing me that five years
- 6:53Speaker 1: from now, the Jets are winning a Super Bowl.
- 6:56Speaker 4: So I think this is very team dependent. That's why
- 6:58Speaker 4: I knew you guys were going to choose the Super
- 7:00Speaker 4: Bowl if you were the Jets. Like, Realistically, you guys
- 7:02Speaker 4: are not seeing Jet Super Bowls in your lifetime. I
- 7:05Speaker 4: hate to be the bearer of bad news.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Thank you. We've resigned ourselves to that fact. If you
- 7:10Speaker 3: would have.
- 7:11Speaker 5: Done this same question 10 years ago and said five
- 7:14Speaker 5: years from now, you'll get to the playoffs.
- 7:16Speaker 6: Still wouldn't have done it.
- 7:17Speaker 1: There's no reason for him to throw that in. I mean,
- 7:20Speaker 1: I'm glad that he did, but I mean, he is, listen,
- 7:22Speaker 1: he's on a high right now. The Knicks won a title.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Jalen Brunson has changed his life and the Yankees are
- 7:27Speaker 1: facing the Rays in the ALCS, not the DS. He
- 7:31Speaker 1: claimed it's the ALCS winner goes to the world series.
- 7:34Speaker 3: How about that?
- 7:34Speaker 4: So the reason why I think it's mainly team dependent,
- 7:37Speaker 4: like if you're a Patriots fan, you're not signing up
- 7:39Speaker 4: for the jets winning four Superbowls in a row. And
- 7:42Speaker 4: then you're getting with, with your history. If you're, let's say,
- 7:47Speaker 4: Let's say you're a Commanders fan. Yes. I don't think
- 7:49Speaker 4: the Commanders are signing up for a Cowboys dynasty.
- 7:52Speaker 1: No, but their fan bases have seen their teams win
- 7:55Speaker 1: Super Bowls in their lifetime.
- 7:57Speaker 4: The Commanders, like how long ago was that?
- 7:59Speaker 3: Well, I mean, 80s.
- 8:02Speaker 4: A good majority of their fan base.
- 8:04Speaker 6: That's 40 years ago.
- 8:05Speaker 4: A good majority of their fan base does not know success.
- 8:08Speaker 1: But, Mikey, had we won a Super Bowl in the 80s,
- 8:11Speaker 1: the Jets, I would say no to this question.
- 8:14Speaker 3: I would not want to see the Patriots or the
- 8:16Speaker 3: Dolphins win four straight.
- 8:17Speaker 6: You know, this might surprise you. I wasn't alive for
- 8:21Speaker 6: at least half of the 80s.
- 8:23Speaker 3: I know. Well, I know. So I would take it. OK,
- 8:27Speaker 3: I think the best example.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Do you think Bears fans would take four consecutive Packers
- 8:32Speaker 1: Super Bowls if it meant they were going to win
- 8:34Speaker 1: a Super Bowl guaranteed Super Bowl five years from now?
- 8:37Speaker 4: I don't think they do. Just because you have the
- 8:39Speaker 4: Ben Johnson, Caleb Williams duo and you're you're. More willing
- 8:43Speaker 4: to press your luck saying, over the next five years,
- 8:46Speaker 4: we think those two could win a Super Bowl on
- 8:49Speaker 4: their own.
- 8:49Speaker 3: All right.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Without having to put up with your arch rival having
- 8:53Speaker 4: a dynasty.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Do you think Cowboy fans would sit through Philadelphia winning
- 8:57Speaker 1: four consecutive Super Bowls?
- 8:58Speaker 3: They've sat through enough. If it meant they could win one.
- 9:01Speaker 6: Guaranteed.
- 9:02Speaker 4: I think this is the line. Figuring out what side
- 9:05Speaker 4: Cowboys fans would be on.
- 9:06Speaker 6: Right.
- 9:07Speaker 4: My gut says they don't want their rivals winning four
- 9:09Speaker 4: Super Bowls, even if it means they win one.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 9:13Speaker 5: I'm not sure any team in the AFC North would
- 9:15Speaker 5: take that. No, they all hate each other too much.
- 9:18Speaker 5: I think every team in the AFC North hates each
- 9:19Speaker 5: other too much to take that deal.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Like the Ravens, they're not sitting through four Super Bowl
- 9:24Speaker 1: championships by the Steelers, right?
- 9:26Speaker 3: They're not doing it.
- 9:26Speaker 6: Whereas I think every team in the AFC South would
- 9:29Speaker 6: be like, yay!
- 9:30Speaker 4: Yes.
- 9:31Speaker 3: But the Bengals are kind of benign, right?
- 9:33Speaker 1: I don't think either team, like, do you think the
- 9:34Speaker 1: Ravens Steelers, they would mind watching the Bengals win four
- 9:37Speaker 1: straight if it means they're guaranteed one?
- 9:39Speaker 6: The Bengals?
- 9:40Speaker 4: They all hate each other.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Yes.
- 9:42Speaker 6: They all hate each other.
- 9:43Speaker 4: That division is fueled by hate.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Cleveland, too.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Oh, man. But you're guaranteed a Super Bowl, Mike. On
- 9:49Speaker 3: the other side of it.
- 9:50Speaker 6: I'm taking it.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Right.
- 9:51Speaker 6: I'm taking it.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:52Speaker 6: I'm taking it. Right. But I'm a Jets fan.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Okay. Right.
- 9:55Speaker 6: Jets, Lions, Browns, maybe.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Yes. Well, that's what I'm saying.
- 9:59Speaker 6: Browns, maybe.
- 10:00Speaker 3: The Browns would be okay with it.
- 10:01Speaker 1: If they had to watch one of those other three
- 10:03Speaker 1: teams win four consecutive Super Bowls and they would win one, guaranteed,
- 10:07Speaker 1: they would take that, right?
- 10:08Speaker 3: In that division, they would. The Browns, think about it.
- 10:11Speaker 6: I think the Browns are the only one.
- 10:13Speaker 4: I think the Browns do it reluctantly. What about the
- 10:17Speaker 4: AFC West? Because I don't think the Chiefs do it. Well,
- 10:21Speaker 4: the Chiefs don't do it. The Broncos don't do it.
- 10:23Speaker 6: They've had success. I think the Broncos might do it.
- 10:26Speaker 1: The Chiefs don't do it. They want to win the
- 10:27Speaker 1: fifth in a row. They're not giving away a Super Bowl.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Who does it? Who do you think in the West
- 10:33Speaker 3: does it?
- 10:33Speaker 4: I don't think the Broncos do it.
- 10:35Speaker 3: I don't think the Broncos do it either. Too proud
- 10:36Speaker 3: of the franchise. And they've won one recently. They have
- 10:39Speaker 3: with Peyton.
- 10:41Speaker 6: I want to flip this on Taylor.
- 10:42Speaker 5: Taylor, would you watch four straight Celtics if it meant
- 10:46Speaker 5: you got another Knicks one?
- 10:48Speaker 2: No.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Because he has one.
- 10:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I have one.
- 10:51Speaker 6: Yeah, because you have one. Now that you have one.
- 10:53Speaker 5: Mikey, if you asked me this- If I would have
- 10:54Speaker 5: asked you this six months ago, you're taking that in
- 10:56Speaker 5: a second.
- 10:57Speaker 4: If you asked me this last year, I would have said, okay,
- 10:59Speaker 4: I'm mentally prepared for Jason Tatum to become the next
- 11:03Speaker 4: Michael Jordan.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Who's your main rival in the ACC?
- 11:06Speaker 1: Would you take Ford, Duke- four consecutive Duke basketball championships
- 11:11Speaker 1: for one North Carolina guaranteed champion.
- 11:13Speaker 4: This is the easiest one possible. The thought of John
- 11:16Speaker 4: Shire elevating to like Roy Williams coach case status, just
- 11:20Speaker 4: the thought of it makes me want to throw up.
- 11:22Speaker 3: I was going down a football path, but I realized
- 11:24Speaker 3: you have no rivalries.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Yeah, NC State. I wouldn't sign up for college football either.
- 11:29Speaker 3: You wouldn't? No.
- 11:30Speaker 1: NC State wins four consecutive college football championships and North
- 11:34Speaker 1: Carolina wins the fifth.
- 11:35Speaker 3: You wouldn't take that?
- 11:36Speaker 4: No, because right now I take a lot of pride
- 11:38Speaker 4: in the fact that NC State really has nothing going
- 11:40Speaker 4: for them as a school. So if they won four
- 11:43Speaker 4: national titles all of a sudden and Dave Doran. was
- 11:46Speaker 4: getting into like Kirk Cignetti title saying like, Oh, if
- 11:49Speaker 4: NC state could win in football, anybody could do it.
- 11:51Speaker 4: Like just the thought of that would, would repulse me.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Winning four consecutive would make Dave Doran.
- 11:57Speaker 1: He would put them on the Mount Rushmore of college
- 11:59Speaker 1: football coaches. Saban, Saban, Dave Doran. Bear Bryant, Saban, insert
- 12:08Speaker 1: any name and Dave Doran.
- 12:10Speaker 4: Probably Cignetti. oh man do any of the nfc south
- 12:19Speaker 4: teams take.
- 12:20Speaker 3: It nfc south because i.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Think that is i mean i think the afc south
- 12:25Speaker 4: and the south are basically just like those two divisions
- 12:29Speaker 4: are just mirrors looking at each other.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Um who in that division has won a super bowl
- 12:34Speaker 1: the bucks have won one recently with brady saints have
- 12:36Speaker 1: won one yeah with breeze uh the falcons it's been
- 12:40Speaker 1: a wild And the Panthers have never won one. Yeah,
- 12:43Speaker 1: the Falcons have never won a Super Bowl. So Falcon
- 12:45Speaker 1: and Panther fans.
- 12:46Speaker 6: So I think those two would have to take it.
- 12:48Speaker 5: Even though Atlanta hates New Orleans so much, I think
- 12:52Speaker 5: they have to take it.
- 12:53Speaker 4: Because right now Atlanta's like one moment from the Super
- 12:56Speaker 4: Bowl is the 28-3.
- 12:58Speaker 6: I would love to ask Bomani.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Same. Yes.
- 13:02Speaker 4: Well, Bomani's a Lions fan.
- 13:05Speaker 6: Yeah, but he understands that Falcons fan base.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Yes. True. He does.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Better than anyone, I feel like. I think Falcons fans
- 13:13Speaker 1: would say no. I think most of them would say
- 13:16Speaker 1: no when I would tell them they're ridiculous.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Like, who cares?
- 13:20Speaker 1: Who cares if your rival wins four consecutive Super Bowls
- 13:23Speaker 1: as long as you.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Win one and you win the last one? Yes.
- 13:27Speaker 6: I wouldn't take that as a Yankee fan. I'm not
- 13:30Speaker 6: watching four years of the Red Sox winning.
- 13:32Speaker 3: The World Series. Well, that's different, but you guys won
- 13:34Speaker 3: a lot. I mean, I understand.
- 13:36Speaker 6: That's why it matters, the fan base.
- 13:39Speaker 4: I know you guys are coming at this differently as
- 13:41Speaker 4: Jets fans. I think the average fan, we are underselling
- 13:45Speaker 4: like four straight years where your sports season is ruined.
- 13:50Speaker 4: That's like unprecedented torture.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Yep.
- 13:52Speaker 3: What does Ricky Mantle think?
- 13:57Speaker 4: Which do you want him to come at it from
- 13:59Speaker 4: a Dolphins fan?
- 14:00Speaker 3: Marlins or Yankees? Let's do for Ricky Mantle as a
- 14:04Speaker 3: Yankee fan.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Would he sit through four consecutive Red Sox World Series
- 14:09Speaker 1: if it meant the Yankees were going to win one guaranteed?
- 14:12Speaker 3: Not a chance, Stu.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Not a chance.
- 14:14Speaker 4: As a lifelong Yankees.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Fan, never. All right, now stay there. Now let's ask Ricardo.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Would he be okay if the Mets, let's say, won
- 14:21Speaker 1: four consecutive World Series and the Marlins were guaranteed to
- 14:25Speaker 1: win the fifth season?
- 14:28Speaker 5: No.
- 14:29Speaker 3: No, I would not like it.
- 14:30Speaker 4: But thankfully, that's not even possible.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Were you alive in 03? I mean, do you remember 03?
- 14:35Speaker 6: Yeah, I remember 03.
- 14:35Speaker 4: Of course, Beckett going in game six and shutting them
- 14:40Speaker 4: out in Yankee Stadium.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Yes, if you weren't alive in 03, that means you're
- 14:44Speaker 1: 23 years old, right?
- 14:45Speaker 4: Wouldn't be strange, yes. What about from a Dolphins perspective, Ricardo?
- 14:49Speaker 4: Would you sign up for four straight Super Bowls from
- 14:51Speaker 4: the Jets if it meant the Dolphins won?
- 14:53Speaker 3: Wow. because that's a Jets dynasty. I mean, no one
- 14:57Speaker 3: wants that.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Especially down here in South Florida.
- 14:59Speaker 1: If you think we're loud and obnoxious without winning anything,
- 15:02Speaker 1: wait until we win something.
- 15:03Speaker 4: That parade in Boca would sweep the streets. So as
- 15:07Speaker 4: much as I would love to see the Dolphins win
- 15:09Speaker 4: a Super Bowl, it's this, like you said, the obnoxious
- 15:12Speaker 4: Jets fan.
- 15:13Speaker 3: I can't handle it. I can't handle it. For four years.
- 15:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I couldn't handle it when you guys were in
- 15:17Speaker 4: the AFC championship.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Forget about it.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Four consecutive Jets Super Bowls is a nightmare for every
- 15:25Speaker 1: other fan base.
- 15:26Speaker 3: It is.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I think it's the team in sports that all the
- 15:29Speaker 1: other fan bases root for the least. They don't want
- 15:31Speaker 1: to see it. We're loud. We're obnoxious when we're bad.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Imagine when we're good, Mikey. And not only good, dynasty good.
- 15:40Speaker 5: See, I think we would be peak bad, peak obnoxious
- 15:45Speaker 5: year one.
- 15:46Speaker 6: I think after that, it just coasts.
- 15:48Speaker 3: All right.
- 15:49Speaker 1: We thought about that longer than I thought we would
- 15:51Speaker 1: think about it, if that makes sense.
- 15:53Speaker 3: I'm dying to know what's in the holster.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Might be next Thursday.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Might not be. I want to know what's in that holster. Mikey,
- 16:01Speaker 3: do you want to know what's in the holster? I
- 16:02Speaker 3: don't want to know what's in the holster. Just give
- 16:04Speaker 3: us a little sneak peek. Just something.
- 16:06Speaker 1: No.
- 16:07Speaker 4: You're starting a team in the NFL. Non-quarterback, who do
- 16:11Speaker 4: you pick?
- 16:12Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Wow.
- 16:16Speaker 4: That's sports radio.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Yeah, it is. That's having one in the holster.
- 16:20Speaker 4: That's what it is.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Be sure to catch live editions of Stu Gatz and
- 16:24Speaker 2: Company live weekdays at 3 p.m. Eastern, 12 p.m. Pacific
- 16:29Speaker 2: on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
- 16:34Speaker 1: There's no time like October. The NLDS is here streaming
- 16:38Speaker 1: live on Fox 1. Both NLDS series can be seen
- 16:41Speaker 1: on Fox 1, the Phillies or Braves at the Dodgers,
- 16:44Speaker 1: and the Padres at the Brewers. Every hit could be
- 16:47Speaker 1: the one that changes everything. Stream the MLB postseason live
- 16:51Speaker 1: on Fox 1. It is rare to see you guys
- 16:54Speaker 1: as happy as you were as John Marossi was attributing
- 16:58Speaker 1: names of players.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Who had played on both teams.
- 17:02Speaker 1: To the series, the Miguel Cairo series was my favorite
- 17:05Speaker 1: one because there were better.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Options for you, Taylor.
- 17:08Speaker 1: And yet you still went with a guy who I
- 17:10Speaker 1: believe batted 240 for his career.
- 17:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I was between Miguel Cairo or Gerald Williams.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Look up Cairo's career batting average. Check it out.
- 17:21Speaker 1: What do you guys want to do here with these
- 17:23Speaker 1: baseball series? I'm intrigued by it also. I love Marosi's energy.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I want to, let's go series by series and attribute
- 17:30Speaker 1: a name to that series.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Can we do that? A player who's played on both teams?
- 17:35Speaker 6: I think Taylor has nailed a few of them. I mean,
- 17:38Speaker 6: I liked Greg Vaughn. I liked Greg Vaughn for that
- 17:42Speaker 6: Brewers series.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Brewers Padres, yes.
- 17:45Speaker 6: Bruce Padres.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Right.
- 17:47Speaker 6: What about Randy choke for Yankees? It's a little reliever action.
- 17:53Speaker 1: I know who he is and I know what he did.
- 17:56Speaker 1: It's just a random name to pull out for Yankees raise.
- 17:59Speaker 4: What about Yankees raise Jose Canseco?
- 18:02Speaker 3: That's better.
- 18:03Speaker 6: He's been to too many. Right.
- 18:05Speaker 3: But that's better.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I mean, it's a bigger name, right? Cup of coffee
- 18:08Speaker 1: with each organization, but still a bigger name. You're saying
- 18:11Speaker 1: he's not really a Yankee. He's not really a Ray.
- 18:13Speaker 3: He's an A.
- 18:13Speaker 6: He's not really a Ray.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Right.
- 18:15Speaker 6: Kyle Farnsworth?
- 18:17Speaker 3: Ooh, Farnsey.
- 18:18Speaker 4: I think of him as a tiger.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Do you?
- 18:20Speaker 6: Really?
- 18:21Speaker 4: Or a cub.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Cub for me.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Cub yeah what a ridiculous conversation that morosi could have
- 18:30Speaker 1: all day every day i got one for.
- 18:33Speaker 6: Johnny damon oh wow johnny.
- 18:35Speaker 4: Damon's a red sock he is all right fair i
- 18:37Speaker 4: have the perfect name for yankees race all right.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Put it on the poll is johnny damon a red
- 18:41Speaker 3: sock go ahead.
- 18:42Speaker 4: John flarity I said John Flaherty.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Steve Martin. Flash. He wasn't listening because he only listens
- 18:52Speaker 3: to himself.
