- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, Hello, and welcome to Wednesdays Whispers. My name is
- 0:19Speaker 1: Jason Newland. Please I listen when you can safely close
- 0:36Speaker 1: your eyes. This is Wednesday, the twenty fourth of September
- 1:02Speaker 1: two thousand and twenty five.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Blah blah blah.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I keep hearing little cranklins and sounds, and I'm wondering.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Why where are they coming from.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I have literally literally just got out of bed. So
- 2:06Speaker 1: this is This is the second microphone I've used during
- 2:14Speaker 1: this recording. My morning breath destroyed the last one. It
- 2:24Speaker 1: melted it. It's okay, brushing my teeth. I'm okay now.
- 2:31Speaker 1: So I'm trying to think what's happening, what's going on
- 2:36Speaker 1: in life, trying to remember what did I dream about?
- 2:48Speaker 1: Bearing in mind, it's only like quite recent, isn't it.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I was lying in bed fathly, but I don't know.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Mm hmm, excuse me, I don't know. I don't know,
- 3:13Speaker 1: don't know, don't know. No, not much going on. I
- 3:39Speaker 1: started watching EastEnders again after pretty much years and years
- 3:56Speaker 1: of not watching it. I did into it sometimes, bath
- 4:06Speaker 1: actually watched it. I think I've watched one, two, three,
- 4:17Speaker 1: three or four episodes in a row on television when
- 4:26Speaker 1: they are being aired. So I mean sometimes sometimes I
- 4:42Speaker 1: would go on to the BBC player eye Player on
- 4:52Speaker 1: why it's called an eye player. I don't think it's
- 4:59Speaker 1: got anything to do with being an iPhone. No, it's
- 5:06Speaker 1: if a question that have they know only me first
- 5:10Speaker 1: time ever on the Eyeplayer, I have at times watched
- 5:28Speaker 1: the back to back a few episodes. I'm just gonna
- 5:41Speaker 1: looks see what they're Okay, just see what's in the news. Okay, nothing,
- 6:07Speaker 1: ingrid Oliver, ingrid Oliver. I've never heard of her. Richard
- 6:22Speaker 1: Osmond admits meeting his wife ingrid Oliver was the best
- 6:26Speaker 1: thing that ever happened to him, as this it's called
- 6:40Speaker 1: eye condition that affects his writing. Richard Osmond has gushed
- 6:56Speaker 1: over his wife ingrid Oliver, okas it's not really very
- 7:02Speaker 1: family entertainments. The author of fifty four met the actress
- 7:10Speaker 1: forty eight when she appeared as a guest on his
- 7:14Speaker 1: BBC quiz show House of Games. Oh how lovely. I'm
- 7:30Speaker 1: not no is. It's not Liamshaw, but I don't know
- 7:34Speaker 1: why it's in the news. Human being falls in love
- 7:40Speaker 1: with another human being. There's not Hong Kong. Wow, right,
- 8:00Speaker 1: Hong Kong has got some really really strong weather at
- 8:05Speaker 1: the moment. It's called typhoon Regassa blimey, it's the most
- 8:27Speaker 1: powerful tropical cyclone this year. I'm not sure what is
- 8:45Speaker 1: a cyclone because it said it's a very strong hurricane
- 8:51Speaker 1: like WAYMNT and do we look to see what it says.
- 8:55Speaker 1: A cyclone is a large air mess that rotates around
- 9:00Speaker 1: the center of low atmospheric pressure. It is characterized by
- 9:06Speaker 1: inward spiraling winds that rotate counterclockwise in the northern Hemisphere
- 9:16Speaker 1: and colockwise in the southern Hemisphere. Cyclones can manifest in
- 9:26Speaker 1: various forms, primarily as tropical cyclones and extratopic cyclones, and
- 9:41Speaker 1: are often associated with strong winds and a heavy rainfall.
- 9:51Speaker 1: These systems are formed by the energy exchanged between the
- 9:55Speaker 1: ocean and the atmosphere. Cyclones are known by different names
- 10:03Speaker 1: depending on their location. For example, they are called hurricanes
- 10:11Speaker 1: in the North Atlantic antiphons in the North and West Pacific. Oh. Okay,
- 10:20Speaker 1: so cyclone is hurrican? Fair enough? World wind isn't another
- 10:30Speaker 1: word for weld wind? Where the wind is just like
- 10:37Speaker 1: it's what is it? In America? In Dorothy County, Dorothy Country,
- 10:49Speaker 1: they have a wist of us Dorothy Twirlers. So that's
- 10:58Speaker 1: a cyclone, isn't it a Twirler. It's a little bit
- 11:03Speaker 1: like The Walking Dead. Everyone's got a new name, a
- 11:07Speaker 1: different name for them. You know, whenever people meet each
- 11:11Speaker 1: other in the show The Walking Dead from different parts
- 11:15Speaker 1: of the country, they all call them, call her the
- 11:20Speaker 1: walking Dead. Something different with the munchers, the sleepers, the dirtbacks,
- 11:36Speaker 1: or wherever, the bastards, the brain gogglers. You know, it's
- 11:47Speaker 1: just the folk got their own little name, which I
- 11:51Speaker 1: find ironic because there's these creatures walking around. They're dead,
- 12:04Speaker 1: but they're walking around attacking humans, and the spread.
- 12:13Speaker 3: All over the world, and not one person, not one person,
- 12:26Speaker 3: has a thought.
- 12:31Speaker 1: To call them zombies. Not one person in the entire
- 12:38Speaker 1: world in that show.
- 12:45Speaker 4: Thought.
- 12:45Speaker 1: You know what, this isn't just similar to a zombies,
- 12:53Speaker 1: identical to what a zombie is. Let's call them zombies. No,
- 13:02Speaker 1: let's call them creepers. Let's call them munchie munches, the
- 13:18Speaker 1: the sniffers. I don't know whatever. Cyclone. Typhoon. We had
- 13:32Speaker 1: a k type of tea in the UK, typhoon. So
- 13:40Speaker 1: someone says to you, do you like typhoons, and said yeah,
- 13:44Speaker 1: three sugars please, I okay, right, Rosie O'Donnell. There's something
- 14:08Speaker 1: about her and being friends with Ellen DeGeneres, Bob Villain.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I'm just looking at the news seeing anything that's slightly interesting.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Chris Evans is incredible for sake Grace's questions, what questions?
- 14:55Speaker 1: Is he going to be returning as Captain America? Maybe
- 15:00Speaker 1: so this is MSN. It was probably about seventeen years
- 15:05Speaker 1: too late. Many actors must transform their physical appearance on
- 15:10Speaker 1: a regular basis, especially those tasks we've portrayed superheroes. Will
- 15:19Speaker 1: he be back to pick up a shield once again?
- 15:26Speaker 1: At the world premiere of the Film's Sacrifice at the
- 15:31Speaker 1: Toronto Film Festival, several questions were raised about Chris Evens,
- 15:41Speaker 1: best known for Captain America in the Marvel Universe. The
- 15:49Speaker 1: double d no forty four year old actor appeared on
- 15:54Speaker 1: the red carpet in impressible impressive physical life of shape,
- 16:01Speaker 1: having gained significant muscle mess since his role in the
- 16:07Speaker 1: film Materialists earlier this year. I don't know, could be
- 16:21Speaker 1: preparing for an appearance and Avengers Doom Day. Well, the
- 16:30Speaker 1: thing is with the Avengers it's based in they can
- 16:41Speaker 1: kind of get away with anything, aren't they Because they
- 16:53Speaker 1: go into different versions, like of the multi verse, so
- 17:01Speaker 1: they find another universe where Captain America works in McDonald's
- 17:10Speaker 1: or something. He access lots of different things. It's quite
- 17:14Speaker 1: quite interesting. A bit of a mind wobble. Boys stole
- 17:22Speaker 1: Charlie Anam's dramatic transformation. Okay, whoa Craze anatomy? Oh no, oh,
- 18:24Speaker 1: that that's sad. Oh. There's a lot of stuff about
- 18:39Speaker 1: Sammi Ferguson, got Alison Hammond, the Lost leven Stone. That's
- 19:16Speaker 1: a lot of skin. Yeah, that's the thing that used
- 19:37Speaker 1: to concern me about losing too much weight. I don't
- 19:43Speaker 1: want my I just don't want flaps flaps of skin
- 19:51Speaker 1: just wabbling around, you know. But it's never happens, im.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I'm okay. Plus, I've never been I mean, yeah, I've
- 20:05Speaker 1: been sixteen stone about one hundred kilos, But that's different
- 20:12Speaker 1: from being one hundred and fifty kilos, you know, or
- 20:16Speaker 1: three hundred pounds, three hundred and thirty pounds or whatever
- 20:25Speaker 1: that would be. So it's a little bit different. But
- 20:33Speaker 1: I think it's just my personal experience is just losing
- 20:44Speaker 1: weight slowly. It's the best way personally, I can't us
- 21:18Speaker 1: have a look. Japanese use this trick for sleep happen?
- 21:21Speaker 1: Now it's genius. Let's have a look, then shave they
- 21:29Speaker 1: beard off? Really, what on earth is going on? I'm
- 21:55Speaker 1: just reading now, Okay, just check comes waiting now I
- 22:37Speaker 1: should read it out loud ready, shouldn't I?
- 22:47Speaker 5: Okay, okay, okay.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Right said a cab for all this stuff, and now
- 23:24Speaker 1: they're trying to sell a pillow the simple solution my
- 23:28Speaker 1: wife discovered. That's when my wife found the Drilla Erco
- 23:42Speaker 1: pillow on mine. At first, I was skeptical. How could
- 23:49Speaker 1: a pillow solve what expensive medical devices couldn't. But then
- 23:57Speaker 1: my wife gave me an ultimatum, tried a pillow or
- 24:01Speaker 1: get comfortable with the basement couch. When it arrived, I
- 24:10Speaker 1: was desperate enough to try anything. The first few minutes
- 24:14Speaker 1: felt different, but then something amazing happens. I slept through
- 24:20Speaker 1: the entire night, no snoring, no car's been, no waking up.
- 24:26Speaker 1: The next morning I found Jamie in a kitchen beaming.
- 24:31Speaker 1: You didn't have a sound all night. She said, Okay,
- 24:54Speaker 1: I might get that dry. Okay, how much are they
- 25:12Speaker 1: charging for this goo pillow? Ay?
- 25:19Speaker 4: So like.
- 25:31Speaker 1: That's strange, right, Okay, they're trying to get they're trying
- 25:48Speaker 1: to work. Might make it sound good first, for they're
- 25:53Speaker 1: offering a seventy percent discount. Now they're saying, think about
- 25:58Speaker 1: it this way. One visa to a sleep specialist two
- 26:02Speaker 1: hundred to three hundred dollars, a seapap machine five hundred
- 26:09Speaker 1: to one thousand dollars monthly. Seapap supplies fifty two hundred
- 26:16Speaker 1: no as s wrong, chiropractic visit for neck paying seventy percentsion.
- 26:25Speaker 1: So get the derillo ergo below today for a fraction
- 26:29Speaker 1: of the cost. How much are they going to sell
- 26:31Speaker 1: it for. It's still not giving me the price plumy
- 26:40Speaker 1: making me work for kiss seventy percent discount. Okay, here
- 26:51Speaker 1: we go. Your seventy percent discount ends in fourteen minutes
- 26:56Speaker 1: and thirty six seconds. A select quantity four. One billow
- 27:08Speaker 1: is fifty nine pounds ninety ninepence. Two billows ninety nine
- 27:16Speaker 1: pound ninety eightpence, three pillows one hundred and thirty seven
- 27:22Speaker 1: pound ninety sevenpence. Four pillows one hundred and fifty nine
- 27:29Speaker 1: pound ninety sixpence. I'm going to save this link because
- 27:37Speaker 1: I want to see how much it is in an
- 27:39Speaker 1: hour's time. Say that okay, because I think they're being
- 27:56Speaker 1: a bit Oh and it's just giving loads of every
- 28:04Speaker 1: few seconds. A lot of things coming up, saying Emily
- 28:08Speaker 1: from Shropshire just purchased to one Ian from Melton Keynes
- 28:15Speaker 1: and made a purchase three pillows. Who's next? Get excited?
- 28:24Speaker 1: Who's going to be the next person to order one?
- 28:29Speaker 1: Roget from Exeter Roget? There's no such name as Roget.
- 28:35Speaker 1: They're making it up. I think I think they're making
- 28:39Speaker 1: it up. Hannah from Enfield. There's all three, so they're
- 28:50Speaker 1: really pushing for people to buy more than one. Why
- 28:57Speaker 1: would you need more than one? Kenvy from London three,
- 29:05Speaker 1: So everyone's going for three for some reason. Maybe it's
- 29:09Speaker 1: because it's one hundred and thirty seven pound ninety seven
- 29:14Speaker 1: our another one? John from Kate said, make a purchase.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Why is no one buying anything from other countries? Why
- 29:22Speaker 1: is it just great Britain? Maybe it's because we're so great.
- 29:32Speaker 1: We don't need to do make Britain a gape great again.
- 29:37Speaker 1: We've always been great. We still are. Yeah, can imagine
- 29:52Speaker 1: court yourself great? Did you imagine like where you from
- 30:01Speaker 1: I'm from France? Or about you Germany? What about you?
- 30:05Speaker 1: I'm from Great Britain. Everyone else will feel a little bit,
- 30:15Speaker 1: I don't know, a little bit less than maybe maybe
- 30:26Speaker 1: a little bit envious, maybe a little bit annoyed. Even
- 30:36Speaker 1: we should have called ourself great France. We should have
- 30:42Speaker 1: called herself great Germany. We should have called ourself great Belgium.
- 30:53Speaker 1: No one's purchased one for a few minutes now, which
- 31:00Speaker 1: makes me think they're trying to I wonder. I sometimes think,
- 31:17Speaker 1: if I say, one, how come no one's bought just one?
- 31:23Speaker 1: I'll beat you one more card now in the next
- 31:27Speaker 1: thirty seconds. So how come no one's bought just one?
- 31:34Speaker 1: Must be a con because it's always saying that three
- 31:36Speaker 1: people they buy three, but just one? Hack come just one?
- 32:00Speaker 1: I still nothing. I'm relatively patient sometimes, but this is
- 32:17Speaker 1: just no, I don't have time for this. Wow. They
- 32:23Speaker 1: charge in nine pound ninety five for shipping.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Cheeky. That is so cheeky.
- 32:41Speaker 1: So to charge what fifty nine pound ninety nine and
- 32:45Speaker 1: then to charge them pound for shipping, that's I think
- 32:51Speaker 1: that's a bit. Yeah, it's cheeky. Yeah, although I'm kind
- 33:06Speaker 1: of thinking that I might like to try out after
- 33:12Speaker 1: a wh In fact, I might not today, not tomorrow,
- 33:23Speaker 1: but someday. Maybe just having a look seeing what the
- 33:43Speaker 1: stats are. Unsound Cloud, Okay, what about Facebook. Let's have
- 34:12Speaker 1: a looks here if there's any messages. I've got a
- 34:30Speaker 1: question on Facebook. Something I've noticed on Facebook the amount
- 35:02Speaker 1: of people the post stuff where they're assuming that everyone
- 35:10Speaker 1: else is going to understand what they're talking about. Then.
- 35:17Speaker 1: I don't know why, but that annoys me a little bit.
- 35:23Speaker 1: People posting things like I can't stand listening to his
- 35:29Speaker 1: voice anymore. Okay, can give me some more information. It's like, why,
- 35:38Speaker 1: reduc everyone listening to or reading a Facebook page from
- 35:45Speaker 1: around the world is going to know what you're talking about.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Just seems a bit strange. What's this? Okay? Just looking
- 36:31Speaker 1: looks to me like just another meet up story about boxing.
- 36:41Speaker 1: He looks familiar. George's when's sick? When's sick? Say that slowly,
- 36:50Speaker 1: don't say too quickly when sick? When sick? X R
- 36:59Speaker 1: E R G, exs and arcs. Okay, get a butterfly, Okay,
- 37:36Speaker 1: just looking at the picture of a little puppy. They
- 37:39Speaker 1: are so cute and their puppies I think what we
- 37:47Speaker 1: need to do is find puppies to stay puppies, although
- 37:52Speaker 1: I think they always stay puppies. Mentally, I'm kind of
- 37:57Speaker 1: okay because I've got a tiny wod dog. I mean,
- 38:02Speaker 1: he was a hell of a lot smaller when he
- 38:05Speaker 1: was a puppy. Just looking at Dorian Yates video when
- 38:48Speaker 1: he was mister Olimpiam. I remember years ago when I
- 39:03Speaker 1: worked in a chip shop there was this but it
- 39:09Speaker 1: was a little like seaside down and lived in and
- 39:17Speaker 1: we went for a little period of opening on Sundays
- 39:22Speaker 1: because of the traffic, you know, the foot traffic, or
- 39:27Speaker 1: maybe we get some lot more people. So he did,
- 39:32Speaker 1: I said, my boss decided to turn on me. And
- 39:41Speaker 1: there was this one Sunday, loads of people coming down,
- 39:48Speaker 1: traveling down for the day from local towns and see
- 39:54Speaker 1: this man and Norman looked like a clamor model and
- 40:09Speaker 1: he was clearly a bodybuilder, huge, just walking around wobbling,
- 40:19Speaker 1: not wobbling, but she was wabbling, but he was not wobbling,
- 40:25Speaker 1: but he was plodding. I'm not sure if he had
- 40:35Speaker 1: this top off, but he was you know that limit.
- 40:44Speaker 1: You know people that are well doned, You got people
- 40:49Speaker 1: that got nice muscles, and then you've got people that.
- 40:53Speaker 5: Are just huge.
- 40:55Speaker 1: He was one of those people, just huge.
- 41:00Speaker 5: H h.
- 41:17Speaker 1: I wonder what it's like being mister Olimbia. I mean,
- 41:29Speaker 1: devoting every pretty much every second of his life to
- 41:35Speaker 1: the sport. I know long a bit about Dorian Yates.
- 41:51Speaker 1: I think he's one of the most successful bodybuilders in
- 42:05Speaker 1: history to care with Lee Haney and other a couple
- 42:14Speaker 1: of others, obviously Arnold as well, but apparently right from
- 42:23Speaker 1: the Star he kept track of every set of weights
- 42:31Speaker 1: that he did, every exercise, every meal, every measurement of
- 42:39Speaker 1: ingredients for every meal, right from the Star, so that
- 42:48Speaker 1: he could keep track of what he was doing and
- 42:52Speaker 1: plan mediculously, maliciously ever playing it all any cage, how
- 43:05Speaker 1: things are working from the results, and I guess imagine
- 43:19Speaker 1: the results next to the effort and the tire the cage,
- 43:26Speaker 1: which best route to take to maybe have more of
- 43:32Speaker 1: this or less of that, Do more exercise on that
- 43:36Speaker 1: part of body part or less on the ever. This
- 43:43Speaker 1: is the feeling I heard. I heard him say, anyway,
- 43:54Speaker 1: I'm going to go and get my breakfast. So think
- 44:00Speaker 1: you for listening. Remember to be kind to yourself. You
- 44:03Speaker 1: deserve to be happy, Be gentle with yourself. You deserve
- 44:09Speaker 1: to feel safe. Lots of love, Bye,
