Transcript
- 0:25Nothing like starting a Treehouse podcast with Trey yawning his ass off. Have been
- 0:33there? Brother, Yeah? Probably, Key's a little bit Starbucks delivers,
- 0:38just saying, well, too cheap? Have Starbucks delivered? Congratulations, you
- 0:47have made it into the Treehouse. Not all of us are fully awake,
- 0:50but I hope you are. But even if we're not, we'll get there
- 0:53eventually. Of your worries outside and let's get stupid together. So along with
- 1:00Trey, trend Holme, and newest show member Raj Sharma, I'm down.
- 1:07I believe this is a episode number two to make you official, Raj,
- 1:12that it is. It feels good. I'm just glad you're not yawning like
- 1:19Trey. No. I know we're on a camera. Work work makes me
- 1:29tired, it does I And so Trey, of all of us, Trey,
- 1:33you have a real job. Of among the three of us, you
- 1:34have the real job because you still work in service industry. You're you're you're
- 1:38in management. You're in management. But because you're in management of a very
- 1:44successful bar in uptown Dallas. Because you're in management, that means you got
- 1:49to deal with unruly customers. And so Raj um has I'm pretty sure,
- 1:56I know the answer to this question, but I'm going to ask it anyway.
- 1:57Do you know they're sent battle that tray had with cheese sticks like the
- 2:05food cheese sticklers. As a person in this scenario, it's both. Okay,
- 2:12No, I'm not aware of this. So the other night was so
- 2:23everything at the standard poor the food. It comes in really big portions,
- 2:27So I'm laying that out. Like the cheese sticks, they look like they're
- 2:30the size of what most places chicken tenders would would look like. So you've
- 2:35got baby arms for cheese sticks. Yes, it's still the same principle.
- 2:39It's fried cheese. And uh So the table orders cheese sticks and some other
- 2:47things and take the food out and get it out to them everything, And
- 2:52then a couple of minutes later, server comes back into the little expo room
- 2:57and says that they're sending the cheese sticks back. And I said why,
- 3:00And I said, they don't want him, so what like why they order
- 3:05him? Well, he looked at him, he took a bite, and
- 3:08then he just said, oh, I think that's too much for me,
- 3:10So I'm just gonna order a salad. Hmm. Okay, I'm like,
- 3:17that's that's not really the way the whole restaurant thing works. Let's let's investigate
- 3:24just a little bit further here. When he says it was too much for
- 3:28him, did he mean that there was too much cheese flavor in the standard
- 3:31poor cheese sticks. I know, I think it was just it was just
- 3:38too much. And I mean he was already an the big boy like,
- 3:42but evidently the that much cheese just scared him and he decided he needed to
- 3:49have a salad instead. I mean, I think I think you're missing a
- 3:55great marketing opportunity, uh to um to sell more cheese sticks is go,
- 4:03um, these so much cheese, you'll order a salad. It's actually pretty
- 4:12good. You know, you should? You should? You should? You
- 4:14should serve a side salad with it, just so you're not backed up from
- 4:17so much of the cheese. I listen, looking at a plate of that
- 4:25much fried cheese. I get it. It's just not the way the whole
- 4:30restaurant experience works. There's you know, there's kind of a social contract involved
- 4:33of you order something. We put it in, we prepare it, we
- 4:36deliver it to you, you eat it. You don't get to you know,
- 4:40order whatever you want, take a bite of it and then go Now
- 4:44are there pictures of the cheese sticks on the menu. No, So he's
- 4:49thinking you're going to like your applebee's, your chilies and the the you know,
- 4:55like three four inch long round and you guys are bringing out six inch
- 5:01seven inch eight inch long piece of fried cheese, and guys are bringing out
- 5:06you guys are bringing out like BBC cheese. I don't know what the British
- 5:15Broadcasting Company has to do with any of this, but I'm sorry. I'm
- 5:20sorry, sir, but I was not expecting cheese of this size. Take
- 5:27it. I have nowhere to put I have nowhere to put cheese of this
- 5:31size. It's not going to fit. So instead I'd like a tossed salad.
- 5:45Have you guys, Have you guys heard of the Have you guys heard
- 5:46of Rule thirty four? Rule thirty four is, basically I'm paraphrasing here,
- 5:53Rule thirty four is, uh, anything that you can that you can think
- 5:58of. Rule thirty four is there's porn for it online. Okay, So
- 6:05here here in the treehouse we kind of have our own rule thirty four,
- 6:09which is we can turn anything into something naughty or into something porn related.
- 6:15So it's it's one of our specialties, along with being able to handle cheese
- 6:24of unusual size. Yeah, I think that's I think the I think he
- 6:30was looking for normal, average white guy cheese and you want something right,
- 6:36you brought out to the table and the girl girls, that's a nice size.
- 6:40Yeah, and he immediately says send that back. So I'm thinking then
- 6:50that that that Standard pours cheese sticks are causing problems in relationships because if the
- 7:00cheese sticks come out and the lady is saying like, no, that's a
- 7:05cheese stick and it's hurting, it's hurting the guy's ego, then I I'm
- 7:15honestly not sure where to take it at this exact moment, but I'm enjoying
- 7:17it. But you said those other ones were normal side have you been lying
- 7:27to me about I'm just saying, like, for for anybody that's listening now,
- 7:31when you go to the stint, when you go to Standard Poor and
- 7:34the cheese sticks come out, as a guy, uh, don't act shocked
- 7:42it is you know what that may actually be what it is? So Trey,
- 7:45was this guy did he have a did he have a have a date
- 7:46with him? Chick? Guy. I don't care what it is or was
- 7:48he by himself. He had a he had a woman with him and like
- 7:54another couple. Okay, okay ooh so that actually made it worse. So
- 7:58then you have other people judging, you know, maybe the other guy.
- 8:01I guess those aren't that big. It is dangerous territory though. When you
- 8:09go to a restaurant and the appetizer comes out and you're faced with cheese envy,
- 8:15that's a good thing you didn't order the chicken tenders. You should see
- 8:24the broad worst. I think what you should do, Trey is the next
- 8:31time. So this is this is what's going to happen. So now this,
- 8:33this is what's going to happen. People now are going to go to
- 8:37Standard Port on McKinney Avenue in Dallas because they want to witness these cheese sticks.
- 8:45They want to see the BBC's um where the CE in this case stands
- 8:50for cheese. And what I think you should do, Trey is, I
- 8:54think you should take some inspiration from the eighties classic uh bachelor party and you
- 9:07bring the cheese sticks out on a tray right in front of your crutch.
- 9:15I didn't know which I was thinking when you said that you're gonna go with
- 9:18porkies. But yeah, the other thing you should do, Trey is go
- 9:26into the bathroom at standard. Are we gonna be able to recover from this?
- 9:41No, you want to tap out? Okay, let's tap your Busit

- 10:18hearing that more houses I've been hitting the market, and I'm wondering if that's
- 10:22true, and if so, are you seeing more buyers right now? It
- 10:24is the fastest pace that I've seen houses hit the market in the last several
- 10:28several months. I mean, we're seeing people lists their houses, everybody saying
- 10:33that they're seeing more houses for sale in the neighborhood, which is good news.
- 10:37Inventories unleashing dan and this is the best time that buyers have had an

- 11:43Treehouse OnAir dot com. Yeah, I actually hang on before I get into
- 11:54that. This segment of the treehouse is brought to you by cook d FW
- 12:01Roofing and Restoration. Call fee your free roof inspection eight three three cook DFW
- 12:07eight three three cook DFW or the website cookedfw dot com and part of the
- 12:13know they have the roofing side of the business, but also restoration. In
- 12:16case maybe you run a bar and uptown and some crazy person ran in and
- 12:20started drawing cheese stick glory holes on the bathroom walls and oh the glory hole
- 12:31of gudha for with the sharpie writing for a gooda time terrible all right,
- 12:43yeah. Right next to it was like the cheddar is better want a party
- 12:50brink of parady. I don't know, all of a sudden thinking we need
- 12:54to do a sales call at cheddars, you know, for for upstart programs
- 13:01such as ours, it's important to, you know, focus on guerrilla marketing
- 13:05tactics. And I can't think of any better grilla marketing tactic than two advertised
- 13:11on bathroom walls for a good time tray for a goodha time with the program
- 13:24for a good time for a good time called Bree. That makes me laugh
- 13:31on two levels because I know like three people named bree on which one the
- 13:41soft one? So yeah, this segment of the three house brought to you
- 13:46by at least until they text me saying canceled, COOKEDFW roofing and restoration.
- 13:52All right, let's get serious for a minute. Okay, uh Tray,
- 13:58I know you and Rag have known each other for many years, but you
- 14:03know we're all becoming much more tighter knit now because this tree House is not
- 14:05huge, and you know, three of us in here on on a regular
- 14:07basis. Can you know we can fight for some elbow room, but we
- 14:11have means. We have to get to know each other a little bit more
- 14:15than what we already do. Now. I've I've known Raj for many many
- 14:18years. I've known you Tree for many many years, but the two of
- 14:20you have not known each other for the same amount of time at the levels
- 14:24of which I know you both individually. The reason why I'm taking such a
- 14:28long way to build up to this is because I need you to know trade
- 14:31There's something about Raj you need to be aware of, and that is,
- 14:35on a specific level, he is a bit of a conspiracy theorist m And
- 14:43to that end, I read a story the other day that immediately had me
- 14:46thinking about Raj and I'll let Raj tell you what what. I'll let Raj
- 14:52tell you more about it. Trade. I mean, are we talking about
- 14:54like we go conspiracy? Are we talking about Kennedy Roswell Kennedy is involved done
- 15:00this? But this is not unlike previous episodes. This is not an alien
- 15:03based conspiracy. Okay, Okay. So I read the other day that there's
- 15:09a major potential breakthrough in the fight against cancer. Okay. Researchers at City
- 15:16of Hope in Los Angeles came up with a targeted chemotherapy pill, So a
- 15:20chemotherapy pill that only attacks the tumor, not your entire body. They're testing
- 15:26it on humans right now in lab settings. It's already eradicated a bunch of
- 15:33different cancers, including breast, prostate, brain, skin, and lung cancer,
- 15:37and experts are saying it could be the holy Grail of cancer treatments.
- 15:43And this is where and this is where Roge's conspiracy theories comes into play,
- 15:50because one of the biggest ones that Rage told me about years ago was Raj.
- 15:56The sitting presidents. This is what we're talking Yeah, No, no
- 16:02sitting president has ever died of a terminal illness including oh, I mean in
- 16:07cancer including cancer. Uh. And the and the last uh I believe it
- 16:12was. Was it Jimmy Carter that was diagnosed with some form of cancer and
- 16:17somebody and they but they cured it. It was it was very it was
- 16:22oh so miraculous. Uh that you said sitting president. So you're not including
- 16:29like what happens after Tell me tell me which sitting which president who's left office
- 16:34has died? Well? I think I think, I think Rage, what
- 16:37you mean is living president president because on the other on the flip side,
- 16:41though, I don't know if we know of any president um barring Medical Research
- 16:47Limited at the time ever died of cancer LBJ LBJBJ died of cancer. Okay,
- 16:52so LBJ died of cancer. Since then, none of them have.
- 16:56So Rage's conspiracy theory is that there is actually a cure for cancer, yes,
- 17:03and that only the presidents get it. Yes. And I mean there's
- 17:07cures for every disease. And if like if if tomorrow, like when when
- 17:12FDR got polio, what did we magically cure polio? Uh? And so
- 17:18I'm just saying if somebody got if a sitting president were in office and there
- 17:23was a cancer diagnosis. I promise you the next day to be like,
- 17:26you know what the research has come through. I mean, it's a it's
- 17:30a miracle. It's a miracle, and it's gonna save this president's life.
- 17:34What about Reagan and Alzheimer's. But okay, first of all, that was
- 17:40wasn't even an elite diagnosis. It was just a private diagnosis. And he
- 17:42didn't tell anybody. That's why he was his last term. He was falling
- 17:45asleep during meetings. They didn't even like his own physician is in house White
- 17:52House physician didn't know it was his physicitions information. Alzheimer's was you gotta go
- 17:59back to the mid eighty Alzheimer's was hardly I mean, it was not well
- 18:02known. They were still even trying to figure it out. And I mean,
- 18:06honestly, he lived for another twenty years. I don't think. I
- 18:11don't think it was that long. I don't think it might well either away,
- 18:15And far be it for me to help you rage, But I'm going
- 18:17to because I want to. I want to further this bit um. Had
- 18:22had Reagan informed the government doctors, yes, who know about the secret lab
- 18:29where all the cures are clearly, had Reagan informed them of his illness,
- 18:33they might have been able to give him said Alzheimer's cure. But because he
- 18:38waited so long in informing them of the illness, it was too late.
- 18:42About that, Rag, does that help? That is correct? I have
- 18:45I have helped? Thank you? All right? What about the I mean,
- 18:48and I'm not getting political, but let's just say, let's just say
- 18:52our current presis like I need to like like like raising alarm anytime you know,
- 18:56something like this comes up. Well, our current president does seem to
- 18:59be losing has lost a step on his mental faculties, and so raj,
- 19:04why aren't they doing something? Well? I think when when it comes to
- 19:08I don't say he's lost his mental faculties. I think when he was with
- 19:11when he was vice president, you didn't see him as much. And the
- 19:15stutter and the missteps in his speaking, Um, I think an old age
- 19:18also happens. Now he falls and he missed like Biden has always had an
- 19:23amazing ability to put his foot in his mouth. Oh yeah, he just
- 19:27can't get the words out. Now. Well, here's the thing. I
- 19:30think he found the one disease that government doctors don't have a cure for and
- 19:33that's foot in mouth disease. All the presidents for from it. None of
- 19:37them are immune, they all suffer from it. That's the one thing they
- 19:40have not cured yet because because the government is yet to cure stupid. So
- 19:45we're just gonna have to live with that for a little while longer. And
- 19:48I also think that when he was running, they had to address, like,
- 19:51listen, man, you have to tell people because your time in front
- 19:53of the cameras when it was with Obama was so limited, You're going to
- 19:57have to address the fact that you st utter you and you forget what you're
- 20:02saying when you're saying because you're going to be on camera more. And I
- 20:04think it became note, we're looking back at a guy who was given very
- 20:08minimal time to speak, and now you're having him doing straight at the union
- 20:11addresses, and you're having him do like public speaking on a grander scale.
- 20:17And on the flip side of that is this tray. So you're looking at
- 20:19this glass half empty when you could be looking at it half full. This
- 20:23secret that I'm making up government lab that has the cures to all these horrible
- 20:29illnesses and diseases. What you may be witnessing with Biden right now is without
- 20:34their injections or therapies, he may be way worse. So this could actually
- 20:40be he may be actually high performing because of whatever secret stuff they're giving him.
- 20:45I do look at it half empty, because the one benefit of a
- 20:49Biden administration, regardless of politics, was he was going to have a microphone
- 20:53in front of him all the time and you would get the jewels that he
- 20:57used to drop. I mean, like, you know, you can't walk
- 21:02into a careful I'm quoting Biden. You are, but you say but,
- 21:10but you're also saying those too an Indian which that that that that comment was
- 21:12taken out of contact, which I will explain that if you would want me
- 21:15to. It's very it's very very simple, and it's very factually based.
- 21:19He said, you can't walk into a seven eleven or a dunkin Donuts on
- 21:22the East Coast and not hear that accent. Here's why what accent? The
- 21:26Indian accent. That's what he said. Here's why there is one. There's
- 21:30an Indian guy who owns almost all of the dunkin Donuts on the East Coast,
- 21:34and what he does is to promote when people. When Indian people come
- 21:38to this country as immigrants looking for jobs, he on the especially on the
- 21:42West coast, will hire them in his Dunkin Donuts. And it's a program
- 21:45that you can join where you can sign you can work at that Dunkin Donuts
- 21:49and then you can actually buy into it to own your own store one day.
- 21:53Because he owns so many of them, he's like, well, I'm
- 21:56gonna give you the same. So when he first got here, he would
- 22:00to the Duncan Donuts and bought it from the guy he was working for,
- 22:02and he's like, this program works. So when you go to the East
- 22:06coast, sorry, West coast, when you go to the East Coast,
- 22:08it is like ninety percent Indian owned or Indian run. So that's what that
- 22:14comment was being directed at. And it was just cut into a snippet and
- 22:18taken out of context where he wasn't trying to be malicious in any way he
- 22:21was being I don't think anyone, I don't think he anyone thought he was
- 22:23trying to be malicious. I just think a lot of people thought it was
- 22:26like that was a dumb thing to say out loud. No, but that's
- 22:29the same same with the same of the owner of seven elevens. I believe
- 22:30the guy who has the seven levens, I think it's one hundred and thirty
- 22:33one or one hundred and thirty two seven elevens that he once owned but has
- 22:37now sold off two other Indian immigrants to own their own businesses as they come
- 22:44here and bring their families here and bring more people here to work. So
- 22:47that's where that comment comes from. Rod, Do you really want to take
- 22:49the position of defending Biden gaffs. No, I'm defending that context. I'm
- 22:57defending that specific one because that's the one you brought up. Other than that,
- 23:02I mean, I I mean, you're you're talking about an eighty some
- 23:06eighty year old man who, oh, this was twenty years ago when you
- 23:07know he said Obama was articulate and clean or Delaware was Delaware was a slave
- 23:15state and that's why he should, you know, do well in South Carolina.
- 23:18I mean yeah, I mean, there's there's there's a there's but every
- 23:22president, I mean, we can go through George Bush, we can Biden's
- 23:26were always Yeah, you need to change, you need to change. The
- 23:29main thing to keep in mind is that the secret government lab with all the
- 23:34cures. Yeah, there's it's not it's not fake, it's real, and
- 23:44that Rag is on board with it. It's just it's just it's just all
- 23:48it's just all there. It's just it's it's the it's the high profile nature
- 23:52of the office. If they were to come down and and and and I
- 23:56I am willing to see if somebody can prove me wrong. Um, there's
- 24:00there's everything that you can get has been. I think it was Jimmy Carter
- 24:04that was like, oh my god, he's been diagnosed with cancer. And
- 24:07then it was like, oh my god, he's fine now. Uh and
- 24:10it was like, wow, that's wild. How did that happen to somebody
- 24:12who's at his age. Uh, should not have recovered at easily from a
- 24:18cancer diagnosis. Yeah, it's like it's like that he gets diagnosed with cancer.
- 24:21The next day, he's back on he's back building houses. He's building
- 24:27a new cancer wing called the Jimmy Harder Cancer Wing. But that's I'm just
- 24:33saying, Um, just just tell me who who's died of a terminal illness
- 24:37while in office? Uh? Nobody. He's like, come on, he's
- 24:42got to be somebody. Well, there've been very few actually die in office
- 24:47that worked, you know, Yeah, it is weird. Now, keep
- 24:52in mind that secret government facility has still also not found the cure for bullets.
- 24:56But that that but Reagan, But Reagan did get shot and he they
- 25:04thought he was gonna be uh dead before I got to the hospital. Well,
- 25:10I mean it is the president, the security measures and the protocols in
- 25:14place. Yeah, bullets don't bullets don't care. Yeah, but having the
- 25:18president's blood blood on standby and you know, secret service to get you to
- 25:26the hospital as fast as possible. I mean, so do you think did
- 25:30like Magic Johnson Curry favor with the with whoever the president was, and that's
- 25:34why he has survived AIDS for that long? Yes, Tree, yes,
- 25:37trade come to the dark side of conspiracy theories. Yes, yes, we're
- 25:41welcoming you with open arms. Maybe he also had the amount of money necessary
- 25:49to pay for I mean, you got, you gotta, you gotta.
- 25:55At that time of when he contracted HIV, it was almost most guaranteed to
- 26:02turn into something extremely tragic. Uh, and he overcame beyonds and now saying
- 26:07Charlie Sheen, uh HIV diagnosis untraceable in his bloodstream. We say, we've
- 26:14we have all basically we know how to stop it, Like, no,
- 26:19no, you don't know how to stop it, you know how to control
- 26:22it down. Yes, that's right, And that's where the money is.
- 26:26That's the money. The money is in the medicine, not the cure,
- 26:30by friend, So why don't why don't Why haven't they developed something to slow
- 26:36down cancer? They have. It's called chemotherapy. They do that. They
- 26:41float down enough to where they can suck enough money out of you and then
- 26:44you die. Uh and then and and I'm just I'm just saying, there's
- 26:51there are you You just tell them like I'm saying, Jimmy Carter got cancer,
- 26:55and then the next day they're like, Yay, no cancer for Jimmy
- 26:59Carter. That's pretty wild. I'm I don't know if it's the illuminati has
- 27:03the cure, I don't know what. I don't know what club you have
- 27:04to join. I'm just saying there's probably the club with the really big cheese
- 27:10sticks. I'm just saying I nobody's ever proven me wrong on this theory.
- 27:17And it's my one, my one conspiracy theory that I'm most proud of because
- 27:22I don't know where I thought of this, but I was like, you
- 27:23know what, it's true, No, no sitting president. And then and
- 27:26then you start to do your research and went, oh, yeah, nope,
- 27:30they sure have it. And then you can go across the board to
- 27:33world leaders. You can start going up into the higher world leaders where there's
- 27:36no miraculously in if you're just going by statistics and numbers and family histories and
- 27:41genealogy, people should be suffering from something and it's wild that they just don't.
- 27:48Well, they do get the best medical care in the world. M
- 27:52Okay, I'm clearly I think I think that's what Rog has been saying.
- 27:56He was just we as Joe Public, didn't realize is the level of care
- 28:00that they actually get because they don't want to tell all of us. It's
- 28:04like, actually, we have cures for all these things, but we just
- 28:07really like the money. They they want to they want to take your insurance.
- 28:11I mean, you know that that's where that that's where this comes from.
- 28:15I'm just saying, there's a lot more money in stalling your problem than
- 28:19curing your problems. So when you even when you have this miracle pill that's
- 28:23gonna that has been around forever and ever and ever um because you're you're you're
- 28:30assuming that science. Just go like they there's all these scientists and researchers walk
- 28:33into a building and go, what do you want to do today? Nothing.
- 28:38Let's just pretend like we're working. Put something in the beaker, turn
- 28:41the buns in on like you guys, You guys feel like lunch today?
- 28:45You want to get a standard? Bill always gets the cheese sticks. You're
- 29:00listening to the Treehouse visit us online that Treehouse on air dot com. All
- 29:11right, let's welcome into the Treehouse now Daniel Cook from Cook DFW Roofing and
- 29:15Restoration. The phone number eight three three Cook DFW, the website cookdfw dot
- 29:21com. Now, Daniel, you told me something very controversial right before we
- 29:25got started here today, and that is sometimes no doesn't always mean no.
- 29:30What do you mean by that? Well, d not with women. Let's
- 29:33get that clear. We are not okay, good, we are clear.
- 29:36No. But on when you're a homeowner, and I know a lot of
- 29:40people underestimate sometimes what happens around your home when you call an insurance company and
- 29:45it's it's maybe not always who comes out that may know what they're doing,
- 29:48or they may be super busy and a lot of claims may get denied for
- 29:52a homeowner and they may actually get partially paid or something. And so if
- 29:56you do not have somebody you're working with and understands the insurance business and how
- 30:00to actually talk in that lingo your home, can you get sacrifice to the
- 30:07claims that don't get done properly. So you need to make sure you're talking
- 30:11with someone that understands how to look at the insurance claim, how to go
- 30:14back to the insurance company and tell them, hey, listen, you miss
- 30:15this and this, and we have been known to really help the homeowners get
- 30:21their claims overturned and get them fulfilled the way they should they deserve. So
- 30:26what you're saying is, when it comes to insurance, you get a no,
- 30:29but that's maybe because you didn't ask the right question or their proper information
- 30:33wasn't shared in order to get the yes. Absolutely, Yeah, you'd be
- 30:37surprised and shocked at how many times insurance companies send people out because they're stretched
- 30:41too. They don't have all the proper employees that they used to have,
- 30:45and so now they're sending out guys that maybe not trained, maybe in a
- 30:48hurry may miss stuff, and then then that's why you need somebody that's really
- 30:52on your side. Exactly. I don't speak insurance, and chances are you
- 30:56don't either. But fortunately for you and me, Daniel Cook and his team
- 30:59from Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration do so give them a call eight three three
- 31:03Cook DFW or cookedfw dot comline that treehouse fire dot com. Let's now welcome
- 31:12Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing into the treehouse their phone number two one four three six
- 31:17eight thirty eight thirty eight, the website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. And
- 31:22it does come very easily for me to recall that phone number, not just
- 31:25because I say it a few times a week, but also because just a
- 31:27few days ago I had to use the number myself. So I'm not just
- 31:32a spokesperson. I'm also a client. Two one four three six eight thirty
- 31:36eight thirty eight. We were noticing a bit of an issue at the house
- 31:37with some roaches. Had an exterminator come and he said, yeah, when
- 31:41you have this mini, it's probably a leaked Do you know a plumber?
- 31:44And I said, why yes, I do, so I called Jacqueline,
- 31:48and you sent your rockstars out to fix my problem and it was fixed in
- 31:52under thirty six hours. Yeah. That kid that I sent you, Oliver,
- 31:55he's a journeyman plumber and he's like the little apple of my eye.
- 31:59I think, like we've talked about before, all my guys are very special,
- 32:02and they're all special to me. But each one of them is just
- 32:07genuinely a good person on top of being a licensed plumber, and that means
- 32:12a lot as well. These are guys that if you've got a cat and
- 32:15you said don't let the cat out, they're going to look for the cat
- 32:16every time they walk out of the house. If these are the people,
- 32:19oh my god, I'm allergic to dust, they're gonna suit up and look
- 32:22like the hazmatman, you know, so they're gonna take care of you.
- 32:24They're all great, and they did. They absolutely took care of my problem
- 32:28very very quickly, and they cared for their property and everything around them as
- 32:32they went about their business. So professional, friendly, all the things you
- 32:36want, and someone coming to your house to do very important work. And
- 32:38this is why we recommend Brooks Plumbing here in the treehouse two one, four,
- 32:42three, six eight thirty eight thirty eight. That's two one four three
- 32:44six eight thirty eight thirty eight. Or Brooks Plumbing, Texas dot com.
- 32:51You're in the treehouse. Visit us online a treehouse OnAir dot com. This
- 33:00segment of the tree House is brought to you by Brooks Plumbing. Brooks Plumbing
- 33:07the phone number two one four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight. That's
- 33:09two one four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight. The website Rooks Plumbing
- 33:14Texas dot com. A special thank you to Jacqueline at Brooks Plumbing, as
- 33:17well as Oliver, one of the journeyment plumbers at Brooks Plumbing, for stopping
- 33:23by my house the other day and helping to correct our little roach issue.
- 33:28Because it turns out we had a leak in a cast iron pipe underneath the
- 33:30house. Oh they'll do it. So turns out roaches like heat and moisture,
- 33:38and I have both underneath my house. So Brooks Plumbing came out the
- 33:45next Actually that day I called and I was like, hey, I think
- 33:47we got a bit of an issue. And they were able to come assess
- 33:51it, and they were back and it was fixed in a matter of I
- 33:54think it was like a day and a half we were in the come fix
- 33:58and replaced that pipe. So thank you to everyone at Brooks Plumbing. I'm
- 34:02sure, I'm sure your wife. Your wife is the most happy of all
- 34:05of us, all parties. Yeah, I think. I think it's a
- 34:07it's a pretty strong competition on who's happier in that scenario, me or her,
- 34:13But honestly we both win. So yeah, yes, and compete to
- 34:15Brooks Plumbing. So keep that in mind. If you do have an inordinate
- 34:20amount of roaches in your house, you don't necessarily need to call Muhammad Ali,
- 34:23although that'd be cool. Unfortunately he's passed away, but the deacon forgone
- 34:30might work. But if you have a large number of roaches, then you
- 34:34might have another issue that could be a leak in the house somewhere. So
- 34:37called Brooks Plumbing. They'll come check it out for you. That being said,
- 34:45being able to fix something in record time is pretty impressive. But I'm
- 34:51curious for the two of you, so the a a new world record was
- 34:55set recently? Can either of you all a Rubik's Cube? No? I
- 35:04know, I know, I know, I can't. Have you ever actually
- 35:08tried? Yes? Uh? And I was that I was that impatient kid.
- 35:14Like as a kid, I was that impatient. What I'm like,
- 35:15let me just pop these things out and put them where they need to be.
- 35:20What about what about you? Tre Have you ever been able to solve
- 35:22a Rubics cube? Yes, when I was a kid, but like once,
- 35:29and it was an obsession for a while, but it was something that
- 35:32took days. I'm stunned that you were able to do it. I mean,
- 35:37I mean usually because we're all pretty stupid around here, at least that's
- 35:42what we lean into. We're not all actually stupid. We just you know,
- 35:45pretend very well. Um. Now by the fact that you said you
- 35:50actually solved it once. Well, and let me say this, there are
- 35:52now like even in my previous relationship where she had two kids and one of
- 35:57them, the boy, became obsessed with Rubik's cubes and so we got him
- 36:01so and there was a a Netflix movie or mini series about the kids that
- 36:07do these rubec cubes competition. And there are now like algorithms like where you
- 36:12can go like, you know, you do this one twice right, and
- 36:15this one turn it over all this other. It's not an algorithm that's a
- 36:19cheat code. I know, up, down, uptown, left, right,
- 36:22select start. Yeah, this is so if you turn, it's all
- 36:24it's all right turn. The way it's done now is you have to remember
- 36:30where you are. That's what they always. If you watch how these kids
- 36:31do it, they look at where they're like, they turn everything around,
- 36:35they kind of analyze where the colors are, and then it's mostly I think
- 36:37it's right turns and then um, I just I was talking to a buddy
- 36:43of mine about this the other day. He does the Rubus cubes and there's
- 36:45all these different kinds now, so there's like diamond shaped Rubik's cubes around Rubik's
- 36:50cubes. There's all these different kinds, and he's saw had no idea that
- 36:52they had new shapes. I was always I was only aware of the Rubik's
- 36:57cubes. So you're saying, now there's Rube's diamonds and fears. Yep,
- 37:00there was a Rubics triangle way back. I mean when I was a kid.
- 37:05Yeah, there was a comic in Ireland and when I was performing over
- 37:09there years ago, and he would mix it up like he would get a
- 37:13brand new Rubus Cube on stage and as he would start his act, he
- 37:15goes, I'm gonna mix this up real quick, and he did, and
- 37:17he would throw it into the audience and have them mix it up even more,
- 37:22right, and he goes, when you're done, give it to me,
- 37:24and he would start his set and they would throw it back up to
- 37:28him, and the minute he hit the punchline to his closing joke, it
- 37:30would be solved. That's amazing. Yeah, So it's more amazing he's being
- 37:37able to solve a Rubics cube in a matter of seconds. Yes, And
- 37:42I had up until recently, I had never I'd never seen that. To
- 37:45me, whenever I had seen anyone solve a Rubik's Cube, even in a
- 37:50matter of minutes, to me, was up there with being super human.
- 37:54Yeah, because I sort of tried doing it back in the day because my
- 37:58sister had one and I would mess with it. And then, you know,
- 38:04with me, if if I can't figure something out pretty quickly like that,
- 38:07like a puzzle or something, I'm just gonna get frustrated and upset with
- 38:10myself. So I knowed better to just set it aside. It's like,
- 38:14you know, it's better than I don't do that. I'm gonna go outside
- 38:15play basketball or something something that will make me feel better about myself. Yeah,
- 38:21I'm I'm the kid though, that's that was me. I'm like,
- 38:22I'd get mad and throw it, so I'm like, there's no point to
- 38:27this. Yeah. Yeah, it's actually pretty good rogs because I could certainly
- 38:30throw a Rubik's Cube, but I sure as couldn't solve it. Yeah.
- 38:34I thought the thing about a hundred yards, but I'm not gonna be able
- 38:37to figure it out. Yeah, and outside of being like Trey said,
- 38:39he was a kid when he solved as it took days, I'm like,
- 38:42I don't have that. I don't have that kind of time. I don't
- 38:45I don't know, I don't have Rubik's cue solving time. It's also one
- 38:50of those things where I I didn't know how I did it. I just
- 38:52did it, and then I could never do it again, which did lead
- 38:54to the frustration and a lot of throwing Rubik's cues, even you know,
- 38:58trying to change the take the stickers off, and you know, twitch him
- 39:00around. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, you try, you try everything,
- 39:05because I tried doing that at one point, because as my sister would
- 39:07tried solving the Rubis Cube and of course she couldn't figure it out. Don't
- 39:09tell her this. But my thinking was if I can't figure it out,
- 39:13there's no way in hell you're going to figure this out. So I thought
- 39:15about at one point doing the take the stickers off and rearrange the stickers so
- 39:20it's solved, and then I'd run into a room and being like, ha
- 39:22ha, see what I did, And then she'd probably hit me, but
- 39:23still I'd be able to say I solved it. So recently I came across
- 39:29a video on Twitter where this kid broke the world record for solving a Rubi's
- 39:37Cube. Do you have a guess, Raj or Trey as to like,
- 39:43why do you think the over under would be on solving a Rubi's Cube world
- 39:46record? I will go with four and a half seconds, okay, Trey,
- 39:54are you gonna go over or under that? I'd say probably a little
- 39:59over. I'd say like six seconds. Okay, So Raje four and a
- 40:02half, Trey at six. If you want, you can figure out the
- 40:07name of this kid. But he looks to be like a like a teenager.
- 40:12So he's at a Rubik's Cube competition, and what I'm gonna show you
- 40:19is there's like a it's like a judge next to him. There's a little
- 40:22timer, and I guess what they do is they let them look at the
- 40:24cube for a little bit of time, and then they set it down,
- 40:29and then they start the clock once he starts working in yeah, and then
- 40:32they stop it whenever he's done. So they let you look at it,
- 40:36let you look at it for a little bit before you just you know,
- 40:38starts trying to solve it. But I am absolutely stunned at the precision of
- 40:45this young man. See here, I'm on So there he's looking at it,
- 40:55figuring it out. All right, figure it out? Now. He
- 41:08sets it down and starts Wow. And how much time was that? Three
- 41:22point one three seconds? Jesus, I mean that is I am stunned by
- 41:29that. So he sets it down and then when you touch it starts done.
- 41:37Yeah, that is that is freakish to me. I had to I
- 41:38had like, I had to look this up on snopes to see if it
- 41:42was real. And and three seconds rub excube And and what kind of Asian
- 41:49is this kid? You know? Rag? I don't know, but I
- 42:07feel like you're channeling your interm Biden right now. I didn't stutter when I
- 42:14said it. Yeah, what's his name? Speedy thirty seconds? The nerds
- 42:30go wild around him. Yeah, so that's why I was wondering what style
- 42:36of Asian is this kid? I didn't look that up, Raj, because
- 42:40I didn't name what's his name? Hang On? Hang On? Doesn't have
- 42:47that in there because it give us a Twitter link, So they didn't have
- 42:50his name. Oh hiss, Max Park? So he's uh vietten no crip
- 43:06Park? Oh you really are channeling? You're near Biden? Which one is
- 43:13par Park? Can it can be an Asian last name as well? What
- 43:20is his Max? Park? Is his name from California? Okay, that
- 43:23doesn't help. He's from the Great Asian country of California. Rage, Yeah,
- 43:30he's Are you guys looking at as a picture? This kid is clearly
- 43:34Asian, Like, I'm trying not to focus on his ethnicity, Rage,
- 43:38I'm focusing on his achievement at breaking the world record Rubik's cube. Yeah,
- 43:44I just know that he has Asian parents. And they're like, why wasn't
- 43:46it just three seconds? What was the point one? Why were you slacking?
- 43:53Next time you need to go sub three seconds? Yeah? He's kid,
- 43:59of course he is. And his Wikipedia says his nationality as American.
- 44:04Okay, that's where he was. Okay, what is his ethnicity? Rubik's
- 44:09Cube's no color, It's all color. If that's the case, we've all
- 44:20solved it the minute we opened it. And if that was the case,
- 44:23that would be a first for me. And I'm not going to tell you
- 44:32what color it landed on cheese. For all things Treehouse, go to Treehouse
