- 1:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm trying to get loop.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: I thought your man's quit.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: What happened?
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: He's coming back.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: I think everybody's coming back, man.

- 1:38SPEAKER_01: We good money.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: We got a new table.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: Shout out to the new table, man.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: Shout out to it.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: It was a Christmas present from Chris Kringle himself.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: And he also gave us a nice little billionaires boys' club uh decoration for us.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: It's actually a cookie jar.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: A cookie jar.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: I'm laying off the cookies this year, man.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: I'm, you know, my New Year's resolution is I'm tired of being a fat ass.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: I'm on camera now.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: So like every week when you get to look at yourself, you get disgusted.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: Like I think what people don't understand is being fat is undisciplined.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: That's really what it is.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: Like, I've I've I was in really good shape at probably one point in my life, two times probably.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: And it's just about discipline.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: Anybody that's out here saying that it's impossible to be in decent shape, they're just not disciplined.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: But yeah, that's my New Year's resolution.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: Is I'm just gonna get myself together and we're gonna take this podcast where it needs to go.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna become a sex involved.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: I've heard you say that before.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: That's my goal.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: That's my goal.
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like on my apps.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: Shout out to Clazy.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: Shout out, yeah.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: That's my man right there.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we're gonna get him back.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: We're gonna get him back.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: Um, what you what you looking forward to in the new year, bro?
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: Um, so well, I guess my new year's resolution would be to uh forward motion, continue to kind of do the same as far as um just be more aspirational as far as financially becoming um more financially well off, uh trying to gain more sources of income, mainly residual.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm trying to work on right now.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: Well, you about to like you you gonna you gonna finally spread your seed or something?
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: Uh well there's one more step that I have to take before I do that, and that's uh acquiring a piece of jewelry.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: But you know, yeah, I'm doing it the right way.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: Come on, nigga.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: Ain't ain't no right way.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: What's the right way?
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: Uh the way that our heavenly Lord and Christ intended.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: You're right, you're right.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: Matter of fact, I'm wrong.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, caught him.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: See, Godfrey, get this nigga.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: He's crazy.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: But yeah, back to what you were saying about discipline, right?
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: So I feel like, so you know how like all these young niggas was saying, Oh, I'm him, I'm him, I'm him.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: And I was thinking about the other day, and I'm like, yo, him should mean something.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: So this year I want to become more of him, because I feel like I've been, well, I'm not gonna say I'm not gonna be too braggadocious about anything, but as far as being him, I think it's an acronym that should stand for handsome, in shape, and you got money.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: Him.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: Hey, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 4:14SPEAKER_02: Let me stop you with the first age.
- 4:17SPEAKER_02: What about the niggas that's ugly are physically challenged?
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah, okay.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Not fat, just ugly.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but that's part of your physical appearance.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: So at the end of the day, if you work on yourself, on your physical appearance, and you try what you you try your hardest to be, you know, upkeep your hygiene, uh, you dress in a way that's flattering to yourself, you have all right to feel like you're a handsome guy because you're doing the best that you can with your own physical appearance.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but it don't count if nobody else feels that you can't.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: So they are really eliminated from the eight.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: That's not true.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: If you if you really in shape, if you if you are really in shape, you're gonna you're gonna get you're gonna get some.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: Oh bro.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: No, no, you can guess some.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: Yo, you don't think women date niggas that they think is ugly?
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: Well, a lot of times, I think that girls do, which is weird, they try to date niggas that they feel like they look better than because they feel like they're in competition with their nigga.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, of course.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: That's weird.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: Define me a thing that women do that ain't weird.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: Sucking dick is weird.
- 5:22SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's weird.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: That's crazy.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: Brushing my teeth, I'm like, how do women do this?
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, I ain't like that shit's crazy.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: And that was yo, you are channeling you in the I got I got to.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: Well, you know, I'm not even gonna.
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: We gotta wake it up.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: We gotta wake it up.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: But um, nah, but I like that.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: The him thing, I think it's dope.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: I think um as a society, especially men, we gotta do better.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: We gotta stop letting the simps run our whole delegation.
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: We gotta start putting our foot down.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: Like we already spoke about your man uh hunter.
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: Um yeah, I just think we gotta we gotta be the him thing is dope.
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: And then you said the eye was uh in shape.
- 6:02SPEAKER_01: In shape.
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: That's my favorite one.
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: Because I think that's the one that uh everybody can accomplish.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: Money, okay.
- 6:10SPEAKER_01: So money is relative.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: What you mean by money?
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: Just make more money than you did last year.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's fine.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: That's the easiest one.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: I think now him is not like a thing, like you become him, but that's something you're chasing.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to be more handsome.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to be more in shape, I'm trying to get more money.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: And that's something that as a man you should always try to do because it's gonna better every part of your life at the end of the day.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: If you if you have you more in shape, you're gonna get more woman.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: You get more, you're I mean, well, I'm bugging.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: You're more handsome, you're gonna get more woman.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: You're more in shape, you're gonna get more woman.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: If you're gonna get more money, you're gonna get more woman.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: If that's the thing that you really want, then following that principle is gonna help you get the thing that you want.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: Gotcha, gotcha.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: And you're gonna also feel more happy with yourself.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: Just just your self-worth is gonna feel increased if you look in the mirror and you're more happy with what you see.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: If you know you go outside and you gotta look at your bank account every time you swipe your car.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: If you've it be in in shape, not oh, but it doesn't hurt when I bend over to pick up or tie my shoes or pick something off the ground.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: That's all part of your health.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, my pick my problem is titties.
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm a man.
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: I should have titties.
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: And like I got a son.
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: So I should I can't, you can't have titties and have a son.
- 7:11SPEAKER_01: Like, that's where I fucked up.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: So I gotta.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: Because then your son's gonna feel like it's okay for him to have to.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:17SPEAKER_01: That's that's not how I'm playing, nigga.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: Like, okay.
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: What are we doing?
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: Bunch of men running around with titties?
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: Like, damn, son.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: I'm tight right now because I just when we talk about the filet shit, I had a new segment.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: Oh no, yeah.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: But I left my prop in the car.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: You think I'd go get it real quick and keep the camera?
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: No, no, nigga.
- 7:35SPEAKER_01: I had to break it out.
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: This way, this way to where we get the whole game working.
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: Uh-oh, yeah.
- 7:42SPEAKER_01: This shit too hard to fucking start up and stop, man.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: Just by ourselves, yeah.
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: We had a whole team.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: If we had a production team in here that was helping us out, but it's alright.
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: It's a new year.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: Anyone that wants to give us a hand?
- 7:53SPEAKER_01: Anybody that thinks they got the balls to sit on this couch?
- 7:55SPEAKER_01: Sit on this couch, yeah.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we hiring because niggas is quitting when they want and just coming back.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: So I mean, I guess it's a revolving door in here, but you know.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, man, certain certain things are constant.
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: And um, I just wanted to talk real fast about um the powder of the month.
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: I appreciate all the votes out there.
- 8:11SPEAKER_01: Um, we have an official winner yet?
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: Everybody give it a round of applause.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: Woo! Clap.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: I see you're not clapping, clap.
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: I'm pretty sure I I won Potter in the month.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: But um EG, Potter the Month, man.
- 8:23SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna save my acceptance speech for when everybody's in here because I couldn't do it without everybody.
- 8:27SPEAKER_01: I need I needed everybody's.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: You gotta have somebody's face to rub it in.
- 8:30SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, no.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: I'm not I'm not like that.
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: I need the support of my brothers.
- 8:35SPEAKER_01: Without my brothers, I couldn't accomplish this at all.
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: So yeah, thank you.
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: And then I'll I'll pop whatever bottle that uh I was supposed to get that day.
- 8:42SPEAKER_01: But yeah, I appreciate the fans out there for voting, and that that's dope.
- 8:45SPEAKER_01: That's dope.
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: But uh let's get into it, man.
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: Um there was a lot of music topics that happened this week.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: So let's start with.
- 8:53SPEAKER_01: Um I want to start with somebody's name Did Arhart, which is uh Young Thug.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: He was on this dude's album, Lil Baby's album.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: Um it's called Wham.
- 9:04SPEAKER_01: How did you feel about it?
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: Uh the album or Young Thug's verse?
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: We can go with the album first and we can talk about thugs.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: So everybody's been talking about Lil Baby, about his fellow for the past couple years, and or basically ever since that um he had the thing with Gunnar when he was like not fucking with Gunner no more.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: And honestly, I was never really a fan of Lil Baby.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: Like, it's like kind of my same thing I had with Future, where it's like everybody loves Future and all shit.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: But I think Future's definitely better than Lil Baby.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: Like, that's not even the question.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: Better or what?
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: Because this is the problem I have with doing Little Bigger.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: Okay, Future is more lyrical than Lil Baby.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: No, he's not.
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: Niggas can't give me a future bar.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: No, no, no.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: Being lyrical and having bars are two different things.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: Because Tupac Tupac was lyrical, but he had bars.
- 9:46SPEAKER_01: Fair.
- 9:46SPEAKER_01: But you see, when I hear, because I'm from New York, when I hear lyrical, bars comes out.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I get that.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: But so, like, you're talking about how the music makes you feel, like future?
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: Well, future has a broader subject matter than um than Lil Baby.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: Lil Baby really raps about like the same few things in rotation, and he just finds different ways to talk about it.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: Future rap about heartbreak, being in love, we talk about bitches, money, and all this shit.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: They talk about he can talk about anything.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: Same way, kind of like Young Thug, but Young Thug does it in a way where it's like, oh shit, that was fire.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: Future just does it in a way he was like, oh, okay, that's nice.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: Gotcha, gotcha.
- 10:20SPEAKER_01: All right, so I concede that point too.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: So um Lil Baby, I I just I was never been a fan of Lil Baby because I don't like his voice.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: I don't like the whole auto-tune voice rap.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: And the only person I really appreciated that did do that was like Lil Wayne.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: But Lil Wayne kind of like was like the forefather of changing his voice in for in regards to music.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: I don't think that came up.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: Um but I was listening to On the Way Here because everybody's saying this is worst album and blah blah blah, all this shit and this shit so whack.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: I think people just tired of hearing Lil Baby because I was listening to On the Way Here, and I'm not a fan of Lil Baby.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: I was like, oh, it's not it's not that bad.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: Like this, I enjoyed this mid song.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's okay, sure.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: Mid means good.
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: Okay, it's okay.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: It's good.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's decent, decent.
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's basketball.
- 11:03SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 11:03SPEAKER_01: So this is my thing with uh Lil Baby.
- 11:06SPEAKER_01: I think he suffers from the same thing that Roddy Rich suffered from.
- 11:08SPEAKER_01: He released a lot of good music very early in his career.
- 11:11SPEAKER_01: Okay, he dropped a very good project.
- 11:13SPEAKER_01: Um I think it was like waiting my time.
- 11:16SPEAKER_01: I forgot the name of the project, but it was like maybe his sophomore project.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: It was talking about the one where he had the album cover we hanging off the cliff.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: What's the name of that one?
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: Oh, I forgot.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: But yeah, that one had a good couple good stuff.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: I think that was his best album, and then everybody has been waiting for him to repeat that level of productivity, song, hit making, lyricism.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: Uh, and he's just not hitting that.
- 11:36SPEAKER_01: And it's the curse of being a really good artist out the gate.
- 11:40SPEAKER_01: And it's also a testament to how hard it is to be relevant in hip-hop specific.
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: So, like, I I agree with you.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: I just I listened to the album.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: I I'm not gonna lie, I skimmed it.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: Um, I don't listen to full albums anymore nowadays.
- 11:53SPEAKER_01: Like the music, it I don't think artists put their all into it.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: To me, it just sounds like a bunch of singles.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: That's what all albums sound like to me outside of um Kendrick's last album.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's what I was gonna say.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: Kendrick definitely.
- 12:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because he's an he's an artist.
- 12:04SPEAKER_01: No disrespect to Lil Baby, but I think you have to grow into the artistry thing.
- 12:08SPEAKER_01: I don't know if he's in it for that.
- 12:09SPEAKER_01: I think he's just in it for the money, and I'm I'm out.
- 12:11SPEAKER_01: Like, that's just and I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
- 12:13SPEAKER_01: Like, just use uh um hip hop as a conduit to what you really want to do in life.
- 12:18SPEAKER_01: Fuck bitches, get money.
- 12:19SPEAKER_01: Like that's what he wants to do, clearly.
- 12:21SPEAKER_01: I don't think he cares about the art, but that's just my perspective.
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: But um, yeah, I would say it's mid.
- 12:27SPEAKER_01: Like it's a it's a good album.
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: It's not awful.
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: I think once the internet hates you, bro, like you something else gotta distract them from the hate.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: And a thing, a thing that I think is is like once you come out with a good album, um, people want to see like some type of growth from your previous one.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: And I guess that is the same thing with Roddy Rich, because he came out with a great album, and then he came out with an okay album, so it made him seem like it was trash.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: But with certain genres of rap and music in general, I feel like it's hard for you to really elevate your game that much as far as like with Kendrick Lamar, he'll make a whole album about this one subject matter, he'll make every song dedicated to a different part of, say you talking about trauma, a different part of trauma, but then he'll come out with a different one for like love and different part of being in love.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: If you're just rapping about, I got bitches, I got jewelry, I got money, it's gonna be kind of hard to for you to come out with new words or new ways to express yourself when you're talking about the same thing over and over again.
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: If I was a manager, which back in my day kind of was for my man too, that was terrible.
- 13:26SPEAKER_01: I don't know, I had no connections, I don't know anybody.
- 13:28SPEAKER_01: But if I was a manager that had a cloud connection and stuff like that in the industry, I would tell a lot of these artists, don't make albums, just do singles and do features on other people's albums.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: That's what I feel like Ice Spice should do.
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: Because Ice Spite, like nobody's gonna realistically speaking, we're not gonna like the the the way she makes her music is so simple that it's like I'm not gonna listen to a whole album that, but you come up with a hot single that when I go outside, I can hear that, you're gonna make the same amount of money at the end of the day.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: But I feel like you need at least one album.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: So I feel like from now on, she just do focus on singles as opposed to making full projects, or just do like a mixtape thing where people's not gonna be judging you as hard as well.
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that that's another uh trick that people do with the mixtape things.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: You're 100% right about it.
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: Let me just drop it as mixtape, don't judge it too harshly, even though they're pretty much an album.
- 14:07SPEAKER_01: But um, the Young Thug verse.
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: So this is his first verse back from you know coming out of prison, and a lot of people didn't think he could rap anymore because they thought that he was pigeonholed to certain subjects.
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: How'd you feel about the verse?
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: It was solid.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: It wasn't like a crazy fire verse, but it was it was it wasn't trash.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: Like that album that he released when he was in jail, um, that shit was whack.
- 14:29SPEAKER_01: Uh something business.
- 14:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, business is business or something like that.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: Like that whole album, there was no songs on there.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: Nah, OU Went is on there.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: I gotta I gotta listen to that.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: But there's no song, uh, I'm thinking about it right now.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: There's no song that stands out.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: That's but his verse just now, it was it was okay.
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: It's pretty good.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: So this is how I looked at it.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: I grade it on the scale.
- 14:47SPEAKER_01: I have this rule in hip-hop.
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: It's probably might be all music because I was gonna debate uh Chubbs when if he would have showed up.
- 14:54SPEAKER_01: When you go to jail for too long, I think your career ends.
- 14:57SPEAKER_01: I don't know what it is that happens in there.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: I think I think it's you just get out of touch.
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: And so I'm gonna grade it on the scale.
- 15:04SPEAKER_01: I think Young Duck has the best, not first day out verse, because then that's a whole song.
- 15:09SPEAKER_01: Like this like subjects matter.
- 15:11SPEAKER_01: I just think as a verse, he had the best like that I can think of off the top of my head.
- 15:15SPEAKER_01: Out of jail, this is my first time rapping on a song that people are gonna listen to, like mainstream.
- 15:21SPEAKER_01: I think he had the best one.
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: It was a good verse and a great verse on the scale of hey, this guy just got out of prison and he can only rap about certain things.
- 15:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think it was great.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: That's that's that's the metric that we should really use.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think it was great.
- 15:31SPEAKER_01: If we put in a that metric, on a young thug verse, it was cool.
- 15:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I wouldn't say mid, nothing young thug does it, but I would say it was it was it was great on that scale.
- 15:42SPEAKER_01: That's how it's um I don't know if you're familiar.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: You know Rio, the young OG?
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: No.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: So he just hit old head, bro.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: Nah, this is he's a good rapper, a really good rapper.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: He's from um from Flint, Michigan.
- 15:52SPEAKER_01: Okay, uh, no, that's cousin.
- 15:54SPEAKER_01: What up though?
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: He um he just came out, he came well, he just came out from federal prison, he was in there for four years.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: I think got a little early.
- 16:01SPEAKER_01: Wait, so was he a rapper?
- 16:02SPEAKER_01: Like, did he have a was he on before?
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: Because it's different.
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: I mean, in social media, because people use his songs on like TikTok and stuff like that, but he's not like a big, super big song.
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: What I'm saying doesn't apply to that.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: I'm talking about a nigga that was like hot and then goes to jail and comes out, they usually suck.
- 16:18SPEAKER_01: But I mean, I'm gonna do well.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: Cause I was thinking about like brought um uh like Bobby Schmerder, but they that song was like kind of like super high up.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: So because it was he was an underground artist, but he had like a big moment.
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, but that moment shit, that shit matters.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: That shit really matters.
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Rio didn't have a moment, but he came home, he had good songs.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: But I really enjoy Rio, like he's one of my favorite rappers.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: Like, I was what does he rap about?
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: Same shit as everybody else.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: Drugs and shit.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: But like the way his bars are, like, you would enjoy his music.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: At least not maybe like riding around with people in a car, but we by yourself, it's like, oh, like he's a funny rapper.
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: Like, oh yeah, I like funny rapers.
- 16:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 16:55SPEAKER_01: That's dope.
- 16:56SPEAKER_01: Um, so there's another uh internet sensation, since we're on music that's going around.
- 17:01SPEAKER_01: Um, is it what's his nigga name?
- 17:05SPEAKER_01: So before we get into the music part, right?
- 17:07SPEAKER_01: I want to give um the pops his his credit.
- 17:10SPEAKER_01: Mr.
- 17:11SPEAKER_01: Ball.
- 17:11SPEAKER_01: Mr.
- 17:12SPEAKER_01: Ball, he got three sons, two of them made it to the NBA, which is already one son making it to the NBA is a crazy achievement.
- 17:19SPEAKER_01: Two of them, both of them were lottery picks.
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 17:23SPEAKER_01: Bravo.
- 17:24SPEAKER_01: And now his third son, who tried to make it to the NBA, but I think he fucked it up because he was stealing the channel.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he was he was a street nigga.
- 17:30SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 17:31SPEAKER_01: That's a whole nother conversation.
- 17:33SPEAKER_01: But um, Lavar, shout out your your kids, but your third son might be like the superstar.
- 17:39SPEAKER_01: Well, he's the middle one, but oh, he's the middle son?
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: Oh, even better.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: That's that's the one that makes it kind of weird.
- 17:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 17:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the middle son is always usually the fuck up.
- 17:46SPEAKER_01: So, yeah.
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: Tell me about this.
- 17:49SPEAKER_01: Like, I yo, this is my thing with social media is the song is so popping, I haven't heard it, yeah, but I know it.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: So how he debuted the song, he was on stream with um Neon, I believe.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: And he was like, Yo, you want to hear one of my new songs?
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: Or when you want to hear my new song?
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: And then he played it, and then people started laughing at him, but then they listen to the song, like, yo, this shit kind of like this shit kind of bump.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: So then now everybody, they're playing it as like a meme song, but at the end of the day, it's like that whole argument where it's like there's no such thing as bad publicity.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: So if you have a song, especially like nowadays with TikTok and everything, if you have a song that's gonna be used in an edit, like with people making like a funny meme or anything, that's gonna make you super lit.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: The same thing, not to cut you off, but the same thing happened with um Poland, with uh rock and Poland shit.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: Exactly, yeah, same thing.
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: So, all right.
- 18:40SPEAKER_01: And then so neon, once again, I'm just looking at the the consistency of these things.
- 18:44SPEAKER_01: So streaming.
- 18:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no more radio.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's what that's what I remember.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: That's what I was telling you.
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: Like, it makes more sense for artists to pay because that's what that's the whole thing that's going on with Cosinat right now.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: So people are saying they've been getting on Casinat by having a stylist because he claimed not having a stylist, but it's like pretty clear that nigga you're not dressing like the.
- 19:01SPEAKER_01: Hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 19:02SPEAKER_01: How's it pretty clear when a nigga got a style?
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: It's just it's it's just like, come on, bro.
- 19:09SPEAKER_01: Okay, so this is how I look at fashion.
- 19:11SPEAKER_01: It's two types of niggas, well, it's three.
- 19:13SPEAKER_01: It's niggas that can't dress at all.
- 19:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but we're not talking about them niggas.
- 19:16SPEAKER_01: It's two types of fashion niggas.
- 19:18SPEAKER_01: It's niggas that are fashionable, and it's niggas that are fashion niggas.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: Like, I think that I'm fashionable.
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: I think that you dip your toes in the fashion nigga thing sometimes, but you don't go all the way there because you're not dressing like a vampire.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: When you start dressing like a man, you know, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
- 19:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know I know.
- 19:35SPEAKER_01: Those is fashion niggas.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 19:37SPEAKER_01: Those is niggas that when you what you wear, what you wear, and then niggas is wearing some shit that nah son.
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: Like, like, so I think that to me, he just dresses fashionable.
- 19:47SPEAKER_01: If I saw him dressing like a vampire, then I would agree with y'all.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: Nah, but having a stylist isn't mean you're dressing like a vampire.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: Those niggas do their own research for the most part.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: So people are accused of having a stylist because it's like once you get to a certain amount of money, it's either you're dressing like a mannequin or somebody you paying somebody to fucking get the clothes for you because like the certain the way you build your outfit.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's it's like it's too much in inside of baseball.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: But we bought it, nigga.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: It's because I I don't I I don't do too much research into him having a stylist.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: I don't think he does.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: He could.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: Okay, but that's just people saying, yeah.
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: But to get back to what we was talking about, um, they're saying that he's a music stylist too, because this is what's going on.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: So he'll be on a stream, be like, yo, that song gets so far, I'm gonna put y'all on.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: It's a song that the streets know about already, but then he'll be putting a song on me, black, and then he won't know the words to the song.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: Like he'll be doing some LeBron shit.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: Like, he'd be like, yeah, no, no.
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: Nah, come on, come on.
- 20:43SPEAKER_01: Let me give him some bail.
- 20:44SPEAKER_01: A lot of these niggas, when they rap, you don't understand what they're saying until like the 80th time you listen to the song.
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: You can still fuck with the song.
- 20:50SPEAKER_01: You know how many Young Thug songs I used to rock.
- 20:52SPEAKER_01: Yo, first of all, horses don't stop, they keep going.
- 20:56SPEAKER_01: Everybody thought that's what he said for like five years.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: It's hustler.
- 20:59SPEAKER_01: It's hustlers don't stop.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: Well, I just learned something.
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: You see, no, but horses is fire, though.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but it's the nigga says hustlers.
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: I thought that was like a metaphor.
- 21:10SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 21:11SPEAKER_01: And who's to say that it was not, but he really says hustlers.
- 21:14SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 21:14SPEAKER_01: But you see, like shit like that.
- 21:15SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't I don't think that's fair because Young Tuck has a very unique voice and he's from the South, so they twang it when they talk.
- 21:21SPEAKER_01: And I don't think that's fair.
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: Just because a nigga don't know the words, he can't really be up on the song.
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: But no, he'll do it for like every like because the argument that people was making, I'm not gonna make the argument.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: I haven't done my research on it, but it's like like that's the you heard the song Viking by Sa Baby.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: Nah, I can't listen to that nigga music.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: Okay, you're bugging.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: Sa baby is Young Thug from his alternate youth.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: Nah, come on.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you, if you do your research.
- 21:43SPEAKER_01: The only reason I fucked with him is because he was like punking offset.
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: That's when I fuck with him.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, nah, that was gangster.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I fucked with him at that point.
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: But his music is too out there for me, bro.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean it it's it's an aquatic.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: I'm old, bro.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: Like when niggas start doing, oh my god.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: Look at so um Basically, he was listening to Viking.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: The Viking was already like a hit, like on social media and shit.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: And then Kyle was like, yo, this song is so vibe.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: The song's been out for a minute already.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: And then he was like, and then singing words wrong, like, yo, bro, everybody knows these words to the song.
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: Gotcha, gotcha.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: And he'll do that for like multiple other songs.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: And then it's like clowning him about that.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: But it's not really that much of a big deal.
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: But what if it's for a bag?
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm saying.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's what my original point was that people is probably paying Kai like his labels or whatever behind the scenes, like, yo, look, play this song in your stream, and that's gonna boost the numbers more even more.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: This is the same argument I made a couple episodes ago, where it makes more sense.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: Where if you get Casa Nat to fuck with your song, you're gonna get millions of people would fuck with your song.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: And now in a couple years, the kids that was little kids watching Cassinat stream, when you get when they get older, they're gonna be buying your album.
- 22:42SPEAKER_01: Which is sad because it eliminates radio.
- 22:44SPEAKER_01: And I don't think the generate, not your generation, but the generation below yours, I don't think they go to the club like that.
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: So like streaming is the only way for an artist to break down like TikTok and streaming, because radio is just fucking dead.
- 22:59SPEAKER_01: And that's that's kind of unfortunate.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: I mean, who listens to the at the end of the day, once it came out with CarPlay, who was really listening to the radio?
- 23:05SPEAKER_01: I ain't gonna lie, I listen to sports radio.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: Just because it's like a podcast for me.
- 23:09SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 23:09SPEAKER_01: If like my my normal rotational podcast don't like have an episode, I'll listen to sports radio.
- 23:14SPEAKER_01: But then you're right.
- 23:16SPEAKER_01: Outside of that, like what reason is there for you to like have funk flex picking your songs?
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's about your envy.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: That's that's that's what I was thinking.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: Cause just the other day, I'm at work, and obviously you driving a work vehicle, you can't fucking listen to radio.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: And um there was a song that came on, it's some kid from Queensbridge named Zeddy, Zeddy Will.
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: He came out, he started as like a TikToker making social media videos, and um, he's actually friends with Tutu.
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: Oh, really?
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like he's like in that age group.
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's fire, that's fire.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: Um, so shout out to um and his song was on the radio, but he have like a TikTok song, like Zazoo.
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: Okay, yeah.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: And like he had two songs in a row back to back in the row.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: I'm like, what the fuck?
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: I'm like, it's crazy.
- 23:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but does it really mean that much in the grand same thing?
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: Like it's like an achievement, like how we're talking about being on summer gym and shit like that.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, nobody give a fuck about being on fucking summer gym, but it's just like I'm from New York or whatever, and I like I made it onto a big stage where it used to be mean something to be on the stage, but but um I also wanted to branch off on this topic, right?
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: So we're talking about streaming being a new radio.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so Elliot Wilson was on um Oh yeah, I've seen that.
- 24:16SPEAKER_00: Uh I don't know who he's talking about.
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: Rory and Mall.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: Oh, he's on Roy and Moore, and he was talking about he was basically saying some hater shit.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: That nigga was drunk, and that's I mean, drunk doors, so am I, right?
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: So he was talking about how he's hating on all these niggas that come out doing podcasts and all this shit and taking his interviews away from him.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: And I was just thinking about it, I'm like, yeah, I understand exactly what he's saying because at the end of the day, it's like for somebody like Stephen A.
- 24:39SPEAKER_00: Smith, right?
- 24:39SPEAKER_00: Or whoever, just say somebody in sports.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the journalist.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, do you like you?
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: I spent my whole life grinding.
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: I started out working in the fucking newspaper making five dollars an hour, and I built myself up to this point.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: And now some nigga that just was good at something else just came into my lane and took my whole shit.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: Now I'm like, what the fuck?
- 24:55SPEAKER_01: Nah, honestly, I hear you, and I'm not gonna disagree with you, but stop bitching.
- 24:59SPEAKER_01: Like, get better, like just get better at your craft.
- 25:01SPEAKER_01: Like, if you are so undeniable, it doesn't matter how many niggas get a mic and a fucking laptop and start podding and put put studios together.
- 25:08SPEAKER_01: If you that ill, you just that ill.
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, but at the end of the day, the people that's gonna be consuming this type of content for the most part is the young, young people.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and the young people are gonna relate more to the athletes as they're gonna be related to a 60-year-old man that spent his whole life trying to build himself up to that point.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: And there's only so much you can do to overcome that obstacle as far as me getting better as opposed to you already garnering the attention.
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: You know, outside of the stuff.
- 25:31SPEAKER_01: Then you know what you do?
- 25:32SPEAKER_01: You put your arm around one of these young niggas that's coming up, and you foster him and you get the fuck out of the way.
- 25:37SPEAKER_01: That's it, bro.
- 25:38SPEAKER_01: Your time in the sun is over.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: It happens to everybody.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: So okay.
- 25:41SPEAKER_01: Elliot Wilson had to get somebody out the paint, too.
- 25:43SPEAKER_01: That's just how this shit works.
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: Like, um, what's what's called Larry's pop's name?
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: Benzino.
- 25:48SPEAKER_01: Benzino, yeah.
- 25:49SPEAKER_01: That nigga was somebody.
- 25:50SPEAKER_01: And yeah, and now he's nobody.
- 25:51SPEAKER_01: Then uh, what you call a came?
- 25:52SPEAKER_01: Um Double XL came.
- 25:54SPEAKER_01: And now they phasing themselves out.
- 25:56SPEAKER_01: It's like little fish, you know, small pond situation.
- 25:59SPEAKER_01: Like, you gotta just either get better or you adapt or you just put your arm around one of these young niggas.
- 26:04SPEAKER_01: Because I don't hear Vlad complaining.
- 26:06SPEAKER_01: Vlad is just adapting.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: Adam 22 kind of stepped in Vlad's lane, the white boy, ho, ho, I'm hip-hop.
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and he didn't complain.
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: That nigga just outworked the nigga and two niggas existing at the same time.
- 26:16SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: So I just think Elliot Wilson was hating and he was drunk and he was old.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: Like, that's a bad company to be.
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: Hating, drunk, and pool.
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: It's bad.
- 26:25SPEAKER_01: I want to be the opposite.
- 26:26SPEAKER_01: I don't know what it is yet.
- 26:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I get now.
- 26:29SPEAKER_01: You're you're you're right.
- 26:30SPEAKER_01: I get it.
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: Nah, man.
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: Niggas just complaining, bro, like like bitches.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: Like that, like, nah, bro.
- 26:35SPEAKER_01: Like, you gotta make way for the new generation.
- 26:38SPEAKER_01: It happens in sports too.
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: Like, I see a lot of people saying, like, oh, Steph, LeBron and KD should retire.
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: But why?
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: If they're still playing at a high level, you don't see LeBron and KD and Steph, they talking about back, because you know how people talking about how basketball's declining.
- 26:49SPEAKER_01: Nobody wants to watch this shit anymore.
- 26:51SPEAKER_01: Them niggas is carrying the sport on their back, and they they hey, the young guys, like, you know, the the NBA's not marketing these young guys well.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: Like, I was just talking to my man's.
- 26:59SPEAKER_01: Like, Lucas averaged like 34.99.
- 27:01SPEAKER_01: Like, if that shit happened in the early 2000s, that nigga would have been on every serial box in America.
- 27:05SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's because he's European, we can't market him.
- 27:08SPEAKER_01: Cool.
- 27:08SPEAKER_01: And you got Wemby.
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: That nigga is fucking putting up crazy numbers, like stats that we'd never even seen before.
- 27:14SPEAKER_01: Oh, but he's French, but he speaks English.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: But I think that the thing about that is it comes back to the way social media is taking over regular marketing.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: So for the NBA, they're gonna have to start.
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: So, like how the NBA did the deal with Kaiser and that, I think that's the first step of professional sports stepping into um how the young people want to digest content.
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: And I I people talk shit about Adam Silver, but I think having Kais and that participate in whatever thing he did, whether it was promoting his he was promoting the mafia-thon through the NBA, but that's gonna be the only way that the NBA becomes relevant again or sports or sports in general.
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: I think football might be the only thing that doesn't need anything else because football is mostly run by old white niggas.
- 27:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and that shit is ingrained in American culture so deep.
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: It's like there's literally states and cities in in like rural areas that their whole economics is of college football team.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:04SPEAKER_01: And then you're gonna watch that nigga go play in the pros.
- 28:07SPEAKER_01: Like, so football is just ingrained in American society.
- 28:10SPEAKER_01: So that's that's a whole different ballgame.
- 28:11SPEAKER_01: But like with the NBA, it's just and it just goes back to the Elliott Wilson thing and just talking about like people like you gotta either adapt or make space for the new thing.
- 28:20SPEAKER_01: And that's just what it is, in my opinion.
- 28:22SPEAKER_01: But um, to stick on the music tip, um, did you and sport?
- 28:26SPEAKER_01: So you you good at Segway this Drake freestyle.
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so Drake kind of responded to Kendrick in a way, and he also took a shot at LeBron.
- 28:39SPEAKER_01: Nah, this is what I wanted.
- 28:40SPEAKER_01: This is the meat and potatoes of that whole thing.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: First of all, that shit sounded like he recorded it through a fucking toaster.
- 28:46SPEAKER_01: I don't know why the audio was like that.
- 28:48SPEAKER_00: No, I think it was he quoted it, it was a video.
- 28:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like what like Drake is a fucking billionaire.
- 28:51SPEAKER_01: Why is he releasing music like that?
- 28:53SPEAKER_00: Because it wasn't supposed to be, I don't think he wants to release it on DSP, is he just wanted to.
- 28:57SPEAKER_01: That shit was on YouTube and they took it down.
- 28:59SPEAKER_00: Oh, he took it down.
- 29:00SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, no, no.
- 29:01SPEAKER_01: The DSP took it down.
- 29:02SPEAKER_01: Like his label was like, nah, we gotta you gotta remove that.
- 29:05SPEAKER_01: Because the guy that posted it, like, I don't think Drake put it up on his official thing.
- 29:08SPEAKER_01: I think the producer posted it.
- 29:10SPEAKER_01: And then Drake's label took it down.
- 29:11SPEAKER_01: They're like, nah, that's our artist, that's our shit, take it down.
- 29:14SPEAKER_01: Okay, which is you know, the war that he's going through right now is really interesting when you pay attention.
- 29:17SPEAKER_01: But the LeBron thing.
- 29:19SPEAKER_01: So LeBron is a black superhero and I understand Drake, because I came in here and I defended.
- 29:26SPEAKER_01: I'm a new Drake fan, by the way.
- 29:27SPEAKER_01: I'm a new Drake fan.
- 29:29SPEAKER_01: So when the whole Kendrick thing happened, we was all talking about like if you Drake's friend, can you go to the Kendrick concert?
- 29:37SPEAKER_01: I said and niggas was talking about, oh yeah, but Derog Der Rose's in front content has hometown.
- 29:43SPEAKER_01: That's my friend though.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: I could I could support my hometown and support my friend in a different way than that.
- 29:50SPEAKER_01: Like going, like going to that concert, being in that music video, and the the concert and the music is like calling me a PDF file.
- 30:01SPEAKER_01: That's the new way the kids say it.
- 30:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: But you know, we gotta do this content.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: Uh so well, they just do that because it's gonna get censored if you don't.
- 30:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, nigga, we're going on YouTube.
- 30:10SPEAKER_01: I don't think you use that word either.
- 30:12SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, so you can't show up to that concert.
- 30:15SPEAKER_01: You can't participate in those activities, you have to miss out.
- 30:17SPEAKER_01: And on top of that, LeBron, if he's speaking, he didn't use a name, obviously.
- 30:21SPEAKER_01: You guys should listen to the songs, check it out.
- 30:23SPEAKER_01: Um, LeBron is not even from Compton, he's not from LA, he's a nigga from Ohio.
- 30:29SPEAKER_01: Like, why the fuck did he have to go there?
- 30:31SPEAKER_01: He could have listened to the songs like everybody else.
- 30:33SPEAKER_01: And Drake is his friend according to LeBron and Drake.
- 30:37SPEAKER_01: So it's not like Drake is making this shit up, like, oh yeah, LeBron's my friend, and then oh no, actually, no, we just industry friends.
- 30:41SPEAKER_01: LeBron and Drake have both acknowledged that they are friends.
- 30:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 30:45SPEAKER_01: I just I don't blame Drake.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: I don't.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: And Drake is responding the way that you wouldn't want a musician to respond.
- 30:50SPEAKER_01: It's either through an interview or even better yet, through his music, through his art form.
- 30:54SPEAKER_01: And I thought it was hard.
- 30:55SPEAKER_01: I thought it was fire, but outside of the audio, Drake was he was rapping.
- 31:00SPEAKER_01: And it was introspective.
- 31:02SPEAKER_01: It's the shit that Drake fans, because I'm a new Drake fan, the old Drake fans are like, this is what we like about Drake, that he can get into this bag.
- 31:08SPEAKER_01: It's hard, it's a hard bag to get into.
- 31:10SPEAKER_01: We just spoke about Lil Baby.
- 31:11SPEAKER_01: Do you think Lil Baby could rap about what's going on between him, Gunner, and Thug?
- 31:14SPEAKER_01: Like, could he can he articulate himself?
- 31:16SPEAKER_00: Lil Baby don't even know, he don't even know what terms mean.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: Like niggas said he had an interview with with Lil Yachty, and um, he was talking about wearing his heart on his sleeve or some shit.
- 31:28SPEAKER_00: And then he was like, Oh, okay, so you putting your emotions out there, so everybody was like, no, like put my heart on my sleeve and I just wipe it off.
- 31:34SPEAKER_00: Like I get away with them.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: And then he was like, Okay.
- 31:38SPEAKER_01: Nah, nigga, he thought niggas was talking about chrome hearts or something.
- 31:42SPEAKER_01: So yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 31:43SPEAKER_01: So, like, that's the artistry that Drake has that people, because of this whole Kendrick beef, they want to um pretend like Drake don't have the ability to do so.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: But the let we can talk about the funny shit though.
- 31:53SPEAKER_01: So, is he implying that LeBron steps out on his wife?
- 31:56SPEAKER_01: Is that what he was implying?
- 31:58SPEAKER_00: In that uh, I don't I don't know what line you're talking about right now.
- 32:01SPEAKER_01: Nah, he was on some like, we don't we don't want to tarnish your image.
- 32:04SPEAKER_01: We don't want to talk about like there was like a couple of little little lines like, oh, what we what what goes down in those like those cabanas and like the summertime shit gonna have to change now.
- 32:14SPEAKER_01: Like he was he was talking that talking there.
- 32:16SPEAKER_01: Some people were saying he was talking about DeRozan, but most people thinking that he's talking about LeBron.
- 32:20SPEAKER_01: But the the the smoking gun, though, is that Pusha T a couple of years ago, like everybody just like swept it under the rug.
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he literally said LeBron's name with Yes Jewel's name.
- 32:29SPEAKER_01: Like, hey, LeBron, you was fucking her, I was fucking her at the same time.
- 32:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, everybody's yes jewel's is bad.
- 32:35SPEAKER_00: Every every time somebody posts every time every time every time yes jewel posts a picture, people retweeting like LeBron understand.
- 32:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's elite milk right there, nigga.
- 32:47SPEAKER_01: But yeah, so like I don't understand why Pusha T gets a pad.
- 32:51SPEAKER_01: Because he literally said LeBron's name.
- 32:53SPEAKER_01: That's that's a flagrant too.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: You have to give me a.
- 32:55SPEAKER_00: I think I think Pusha T is just the people that's going on right now.
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: Young people dictate the the narrative of everything, and not enough, and not enough young people fuck with Pusha T.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: Oh, so you just think they just need to hear it.
- 33:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like they just like okay.
- 33:09SPEAKER_01: Nigga said his name.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but niggas, niggas not listening to Pusha T.
- 33:12SPEAKER_01: Yo, that's crazy, though.
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: Like, this Like I only know one nigga that's my age that really fucks with Pusha T.
- 33:17SPEAKER_00: Like, I like push, like I listen to his music.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: But I only know one nigga that's like a Pusha T fan.
- 33:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay, yeah.
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: But it's just the the Drake shit.
- 33:26SPEAKER_01: I think Drake did it in the um if I'm LeBron, I'm not mad at Drake.
- 33:30SPEAKER_01: Because he didn't he didn't say my name.
- 33:31SPEAKER_01: He put in your windows in there that maybe only him and I would understand.
- 33:35SPEAKER_01: And I understand why he's upset if I'm LeBron.
- 33:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, fuck.
- 33:37SPEAKER_01: I try to piece it up, honestly.
- 33:38SPEAKER_01: If that's really my friend.
- 33:39SPEAKER_00: The shit the shit that was funny was LeBron came out with an ad that same day, and he was like, LeBron don't give a fuck.
- 33:43SPEAKER_00: It was like a Taco Bell ad.
- 33:45SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah, I get paid, nigga.
- 33:46SPEAKER_00: And um, damn, I forgot what I was gonna say.
- 33:51SPEAKER_00: Fuck it.
- 33:52SPEAKER_01: Nigga thought about Taco Bell, I'm hungry.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, nah, but um uh if you're LeBron and you gotta go home, well, first of all, let me ask you a question.
- 34:01SPEAKER_02: Do you think LeBron steps out on his wife?
- 34:05SPEAKER_02: If he does, it's consensual.
- 34:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so yeah, I think it's consensual too.
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: So uh, I mean at this point in his life, I'm not sure, but in the past, I I would say yes.
- 34:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I would say yes, right?
- 34:17SPEAKER_01: So if you're LeBron, you gotta go home now and speak to your family.
- 34:22SPEAKER_01: And why the internet is and this is why the internet is so dangerous.
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: Like, I really like I want to get lit, but I don't want to be like famous.
- 34:29SPEAKER_01: Because this shit is like crazy.
- 34:30SPEAKER_01: Could you imagine you and LeBron James?
- 34:31SPEAKER_01: No, just fuck LeBron James.
- 34:33SPEAKER_01: Imagine you going home and having to explain to your girl like what these people are talking about on the internet, and like you know how women are.
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: Like, there's no like there's no explaining this.
- 34:41SPEAKER_00: It doesn't even have to go that far.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: I just seen a tweet um and the girl was talking about how I'm gonna preface this by saying she's pregnant, so it might be a hormonal thing that's fucking with her brain.
- 34:52SPEAKER_00: But she was talking about how her boyfriend, and she put he's 29 for some reason.
- 34:57SPEAKER_00: I guess it's just like a full transparency thing for the situation of context, but she was talking about how her boyfriend has a fitness page.
- 35:02SPEAKER_00: Oh, I seen this shit.
- 35:05SPEAKER_00: Her boyfriend is so the full situation is basically that boyfriend.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: What the fuck is going on?
- 35:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, niggas.
- 35:10SPEAKER_00: Um her boyfriend has a fitness page, and they go to the gym together, and all he does is post fitness content, and she felt some type of way that she never posted on the page about.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: I mean, he never posted on the page about her.
- 35:22SPEAKER_00: And then people in the comments was cooking her.
- 35:24SPEAKER_00: Like, what the fuck are you talking about?
- 35:26SPEAKER_01: Yo, I seen one thing that she said.
- 35:28SPEAKER_01: Nah, some girl agreed with her.
- 35:29SPEAKER_01: She was like, Yeah, why couldn't he do something cute?
- 35:31SPEAKER_01: Like, say, like, while he's eating his post-workout meal, and this is the meal my girlfriend made me.
- 35:36SPEAKER_01: I'm like, yo, women, like, oh my lord, like that shit like bothered me, and I wasn't even the dude.
- 35:43SPEAKER_01: Like, it's insecurity.
- 35:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 35:47SPEAKER_01: It got him.
- 35:48SPEAKER_01: I know you gotta say he, I got a girl.
- 35:53SPEAKER_01: You gotta learn.
- 35:54SPEAKER_01: I don't make those shirts, bro.
- 35:56SPEAKER_01: That should save everything.
- 35:57SPEAKER_01: Because you can't be mad, you gotta work out with that shirt on.
- 35:59SPEAKER_01: Give the nigga a fucking bandana.
- 36:01SPEAKER_01: A bandana.
- 36:05SPEAKER_01: Because I'm just saying, bro, like, women gotta do better than this, bro.
- 36:09SPEAKER_01: Because it just goes back to the same shit that we talking about all the time.
- 36:12SPEAKER_01: Like, I think when men are in these positions, like, if if my girl was Cardi B and she got her areolas out, you gotta charge some shit to the game, bro.
- 36:20SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm not gonna say, yeah, I'm championing her doing that, but like, she's fucking Cardi B.
- 36:24SPEAKER_01: This is her brand.
- 36:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm not gonna lie.
- 36:28SPEAKER_00: The first thought that just came in my head is this is why a woman can't be president.
- 36:31SPEAKER_00: Because it's like no matter, this is a hot take.
- 36:35SPEAKER_00: I might this might be the only no, I don't know if I'm gonna walk it back, but just just listen to my listen to the science.
- 36:41SPEAKER_01: I'm listening.
- 36:41SPEAKER_00: No matter how intelligent a woman is, there's gonna be some portion of her life that's gonna be dictated by or a decision that she makes or a question she asks, even within herself, even if she doesn't say that out loud, that's gonna be dictated by her emotion.
- 36:54SPEAKER_00: And that's always gonna cause a problem, whether it's the situation's perfect or the situation's imperfect, and it could be work to be perfect.
- 37:00SPEAKER_00: There's always gonna be the emotional feeling that's gonna dictate the decision or question or feeling that's gonna mess something up.
- 37:07SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna give you some pushback on that.
- 37:08SPEAKER_01: Um, you don't think men are like the same?
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: I think we're better at subduing those emotions.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I can't disagree with you.
- 37:16SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 37:16SPEAKER_00: Because there's a lot of times in my life, right?
- 37:19SPEAKER_00: Well, any man's life, where it's a situation where like I even go through this with with my girl.
- 37:26SPEAKER_00: Like I'll just be um a little transparent.
- 37:30SPEAKER_00: A little transparent about you know my personal relationship.
- 37:33SPEAKER_00: Um it'll be a situation where my girl will do something wrong.
- 37:37SPEAKER_00: And or something that will make somebody upset.
- 37:39SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna say do something wrong.
- 37:41SPEAKER_00: And she'll be like, You mad at me?
- 37:43SPEAKER_00: Because she's like apologizing.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: I'm like, no, what am I gonna be mad for?
- 37:47SPEAKER_00: Because at the end of the day, I could use this moment to to as an outlet for my anger towards the situation, but how productive would that be?
- 37:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 37:58SPEAKER_00: Cause at the end of the day, if if if I'm mad at you about something and I know it's not gonna have any effect on my life or my day going forward, then there's no point of putting that energy towards being angry.
- 38:07SPEAKER_00: I was into a pod I just told my girl this the other day too.
- 38:09SPEAKER_00: I was listening to a podcast and this guy who's like a Navy SEAL special forces and all this shit.
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: And um, he's telling the story about how he was they were doing like a breach on like some because he was he was talking about because he was he's the guy that killed um bin Laden?
- 38:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Bin Laden, and he was talking about how he they went to like some castle that he was at and there was a crash helicopter on the on the in front of the building because this team that went there before him crashed the helicopter in the front in the front yard.
- 38:33SPEAKER_00: And instead of thinking, why the fuck is this crash helicopter there?
- 38:38SPEAKER_00: Like, what am I gonna do?
- 38:39SPEAKER_00: Like, what the fuck is going on?
- 38:40SPEAKER_00: He just thought, okay, there's a crash helicopter, but I still gotta complete my mission.
- 38:44SPEAKER_00: So it's like an analogy he used was like, um, if we're playing basketball in this fourth quarter, we're down 10 points.
- 38:50SPEAKER_00: Am I gonna argue with my teammates about why we're down 10 points, or are we gonna try to come back from being down 10 points?
- 38:56SPEAKER_01: But I ain't gonna hold you.
- 38:57SPEAKER_01: I pull up, I see a crash helicopter.
- 38:59SPEAKER_01: That's a question.
- 39:00SPEAKER_00: No, he had questions, but it's like all right, fuck it.
- 39:04SPEAKER_00: We scratch helicopter, but now I just have to use the information that I have and then continue and nigga.
- 39:12SPEAKER_01: I'm leaving.
- 39:14SPEAKER_01: Alright, we get that nigga tomorrow.
- 39:16SPEAKER_01: He got some shit that's knocking out shit.
- 39:18SPEAKER_01: We sitting there.
- 39:19SPEAKER_01: So let me know.
- 39:20SPEAKER_01: But I feel I feel what you're saying.
- 39:21SPEAKER_01: I feel what you're saying.
- 39:22SPEAKER_01: That's that's actually a really good analogy.
- 39:24SPEAKER_01: The fourth quarter shit is dope.
- 39:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, man.
- 39:26SPEAKER_01: Um I I want a woman president.
- 39:29SPEAKER_01: So nigga, shut the fuck up.
- 39:31SPEAKER_01: Like, let's just get it out of the way.
- 39:32SPEAKER_01: I think that's what they did with Obama.
- 39:34SPEAKER_00: I think that's gonna cause a lot of dangerous sexism because say say Kamala Harris won instead of Trump, right?
- 39:44SPEAKER_01: Oh, that would have been lit.
- 39:45SPEAKER_00: And um everything, so say things go wrong with Trump's presidency, and then those same things go wrong with Kamala Harris's president.
- 39:52SPEAKER_01: Oh, it'll be like times three.
- 39:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:54SPEAKER_01: They would just try to like storm the fucking White House this time.
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because they would have been like, this is why we can't have women, blah, blah, blah, and then then there'll be some scenarios where women start to get punched out in the street and all that shit.
- 40:04SPEAKER_00: That would have been like a whole mastery.
- 40:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 40:07SPEAKER_00: Like the only way that a woman president is gonna work, I feel like, is if she has to be like perfect.
- 40:12SPEAKER_00: Michelle.
- 40:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like, yeah, that would have been, but Michelle don't want to go.
- 40:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I understand she's smart.
- 40:18SPEAKER_01: She don't want to put her family through that shit.
- 40:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's just like it's it's not worth it.
- 40:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, her kid, her kids are like fucking age right now.
- 40:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they smoke cigarettes and all type of shit.
- 40:26SPEAKER_01: Nah, that's the worst time.
- 40:27SPEAKER_01: The best time to be.
- 40:28SPEAKER_00: I think that's what the one thing they would attack would be her kids.
- 40:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 40:30SPEAKER_00: It would have no effect on what her policies are, but it would just be like her kids.
- 40:33SPEAKER_01: Look at your fucking kids.
- 40:34SPEAKER_01: Your nigger babies smoking a big arette.
- 40:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like nah, that should be bad.
- 40:38SPEAKER_01: But um, nah, that president, like I have aspirations to be president one day.
- 40:42SPEAKER_01: And uh, I actually think Trump.
- 40:43SPEAKER_01: Because if it wasn't for Trump, I would have to go through like so much like shit to become president.
- 40:47SPEAKER_01: Now I could just do it off the pod.
- 40:49SPEAKER_01: I I could legit become president just like being successful.
- 40:52SPEAKER_00: They have a um a movie about that.
- 40:54SPEAKER_00: I forgot what it's called, but it's like the it was a comedian and he ran for president one.
- 40:57SPEAKER_00: Oh, did that?
- 40:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 40:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's gonna be me.
- 40:59SPEAKER_01: Oh, I gotta become a comedian first.
- 41:01SPEAKER_01: That's what's dope about being a comedian, though.
- 41:02SPEAKER_01: You got the license to kill, you can make fun of whatever you want.
- 41:04SPEAKER_01: That's fine.
- 41:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 41:05SPEAKER_01: But um, there's been a lot of crazy shit going on in New York right now.
- 41:09SPEAKER_01: And I don't even know which one I want to start at.
- 41:11SPEAKER_01: Actually, I know which one I want to start at.
- 41:13SPEAKER_01: I want to start about um the congestion pricing in the city.
- 41:17SPEAKER_00: Yo, that's some bullshit.
- 41:18SPEAKER_00: So they made Queen's Bridge part of the congestion price.
- 41:22SPEAKER_00: There's only one bridge that you can go through that you don't have to pay.
- 41:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 41:25SPEAKER_00: And it's in Brooklyn.
- 41:26SPEAKER_00: And then people were saying that's like a New York giving New York back to Brooklyn because Brooklyn is like the hub now.
- 41:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 41:33SPEAKER_00: It's like it has all the best spots, best clubs, best bars.
- 41:36SPEAKER_00: You want to go to a comedy show, it's gonna be in Brooklyn, like, because that's with the most gentrified area.
- 41:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it is.
- 41:41SPEAKER_01: It's the most expensive place to live in New York City now.
- 41:43SPEAKER_01: But I think this is gonna backfire because if you owned a business in Manhattan, how are you getting any money now?
- 41:49SPEAKER_00: And the thing is, the congestion price, if it was just like a regular toll, I would be like, all right, I could wash that, but 30, it'd be like$30.
- 41:57SPEAKER_01: You could hit all of it in a day, just like uh like on a regular day, just like going through the city.
- 42:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's crazy, like it should be one toll, I can understand.
- 42:04SPEAKER_00: But like, yeah, if they just made more tolls that was like six dollars with an easy pass, I would still be tight, but it's like, okay, that it's like whatever.
- 42:11SPEAKER_01: Thirty dollars?
- 42:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but what is this for?
- 42:13SPEAKER_01: Where's this money going?
- 42:14SPEAKER_01: Because the transit system sucks.
- 42:16SPEAKER_01: The bridges and tunnels are outdated.
- 42:19SPEAKER_01: What is it for?
- 42:20SPEAKER_01: We don't have a bullet train.
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: Like, it would be fine if we had a bullet train that could just take us from New York to fucking Vegas.
- 42:25SPEAKER_01: Like, what where's this money going?
- 42:28SPEAKER_01: We have a homeless migrants.
- 42:30SPEAKER_01: Nah, they about to get backed up.
- 42:32SPEAKER_01: So, like, where's the money going?
- 42:33SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't fucking know.
- 42:34SPEAKER_01: I think I know where it's going.
- 42:36SPEAKER_01: So the police department is getting sued a lot.
- 42:39SPEAKER_01: Okay, and that money is coming out of their pensions and shit.
- 42:42SPEAKER_01: So they was like, nah, we we need to like refill our pension.
- 42:46SPEAKER_01: Remember you told us about that lady.
- 42:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 42:49SPEAKER_01: That's where the money is going.
- 42:51SPEAKER_01: It's the only, oh, I know you pro-cop, but that's where the money is going.
- 42:56SPEAKER_00: Contrary to popular belief, I'm not pro-cop, I'm pro common sense and logic.
- 42:59SPEAKER_00: Like, if you do some stupid shit to a cop, you the cop is gonna do their job.
- 43:03SPEAKER_00: Sound like a cop.
- 43:05SPEAKER_00: No.
- 43:05SPEAKER_00: Like the scenarios that we've had on the show, those have all been like common sense shit.
- 43:09SPEAKER_00: Like, if you was just a regular nigga and some nigga came out with you with a knife, what the fuck are you gonna do?
- 43:13SPEAKER_00: Like, have a brand.
- 43:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you remove him from the planet.
- 43:15SPEAKER_01: But yeah, nah, I think that's what uh the congestion price is about.
- 43:18SPEAKER_01: Then there was that shooting in Queens at Missouri Nightclub.
- 43:22SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, I worked that day too, and I work in that area.
- 43:25SPEAKER_00: Um, what the f I don't know.
- 43:27SPEAKER_01: Like, I've tried to like, because that's a club I've been to.
- 43:31SPEAKER_01: Um, I tried to like hit the streets a little bit.
- 43:33SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm inside now, so I don't even know what's going on, but that's not some Queen shit.
- 43:37SPEAKER_01: We don't do that.
- 43:39SPEAKER_01: We get the money.
- 43:40SPEAKER_01: What what's going on?
- 43:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't know.
- 43:41SPEAKER_00: Ten niggas got shot at some.
- 43:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like some crazy shit like that.
- 43:44SPEAKER_00: Like, what is that?
- 43:46SPEAKER_00: There's been a lot of shit that's been going on.
- 43:49SPEAKER_00: Well, we didn't get the fucking migrants, they haven't had guns.
- 43:54SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 43:55SPEAKER_01: So And then the lady on the train who we still don't have uh ID for her.
- 44:01SPEAKER_01: Oh, she was a homeless lady.
- 44:02SPEAKER_01: Ain't nobody gonna find out what she is.
- 44:03SPEAKER_01: Was she black?
- 44:04SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 44:05SPEAKER_00: Probably.
- 44:06SPEAKER_00: Probably.
- 44:07SPEAKER_01: Whoa, whoa.
- 44:09SPEAKER_00: I think it was a black homeless lady.
- 44:11SPEAKER_00: Based on what?
- 44:12SPEAKER_00: Well, maybe that was Char.
- 44:17SPEAKER_01: You a wild.
- 44:18SPEAKER_01: You a wild.
- 44:19SPEAKER_01: But yeah, like, I just don't like what's going on in the city.
- 44:24SPEAKER_01: I'm super New York.
- 44:26SPEAKER_01: I'm never gonna leave New York.
- 44:27SPEAKER_01: They would have to pry my dead body out of this place.
- 44:30SPEAKER_01: But it's getting a little spooky, and I don't like what's going on.
- 44:36SPEAKER_00: The craziest shit that happened was the USPS nigga.
- 44:39SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 44:39SPEAKER_00: RIP to that nigga.
- 44:41SPEAKER_00: That nigga got killed by a tranny.
- 44:43SPEAKER_00: A transgender person.
- 44:44SPEAKER_00: Whoa.
- 44:45SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 44:47SPEAKER_00: You got yo.
- 44:48SPEAKER_00: That nigga got killed by a transgender person.
- 44:50SPEAKER_00: If y'all don't know the story was.
- 44:52SPEAKER_00: I don't know the story.
- 44:53SPEAKER_00: The nigga went into the store to buy breakfast.
- 44:56SPEAKER_00: Baking cheese.
- 44:57SPEAKER_00: This transgender person come in and try to skip him in line, and he like, yo, hold on, like whatever.
- 45:03SPEAKER_01: Nah, but hold on.
- 45:04SPEAKER_01: At this deli, is the transgender person a regular?
- 45:09SPEAKER_01: Uh that part of the story wasn't disclosed.
- 45:11SPEAKER_01: Gotcha.
- 45:11SPEAKER_01: Cause let's keep it a rack.
- 45:13SPEAKER_01: There's some deli.
- 45:14SPEAKER_01: I got a deli I know if I go in right now, I can skip the line.
- 45:17unknown: Offer.
- 45:18SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 45:19SPEAKER_01: You don't got a deli like that?
- 45:21SPEAKER_00: I just, I'm just a person that doesn't like to skip.
- 45:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but do you have a deli that you can do that at?
- 45:26SPEAKER_00: No.
- 45:27SPEAKER_00: I mean, well, if I okay, so the store that I used to live by, the nigga will just see me like same shit.
- 45:33SPEAKER_00: I'm like, Exactly.
- 45:33SPEAKER_01: So you skipping the line.
- 45:34SPEAKER_01: It'll be 50 niggas in there.
- 45:35SPEAKER_01: You walk in, you go to get you walk in, you let them know, yeah, same shit.
- 45:38SPEAKER_01: You go get your beverage.
- 45:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but who's to say that this nigga is not a regular in that store too?
- 45:41SPEAKER_00: Was it the UPS nigga?
- 45:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 45:43SPEAKER_00: USPS.
- 45:44SPEAKER_01: The USPS nigga?
- 45:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 45:45SPEAKER_01: That's the thing, though.
- 45:46SPEAKER_01: If the if the transgender person is a regular, that nigga need to pipe down.
- 45:50SPEAKER_01: But continue.
- 45:51SPEAKER_00: But I'm saying if they both regulars in the store, then what's the thing?
- 45:53SPEAKER_00: It's Oxfault.
- 45:55SPEAKER_00: No, the Oc didn't have nothing to do with it.
- 45:56SPEAKER_01: He got a pick.
- 45:57SPEAKER_00: Alright, finish the story.
- 45:59SPEAKER_00: The guy go in the store, he's ordering.
- 46:02SPEAKER_00: The transgender person comes in, tries to skip him in line.
- 46:07SPEAKER_00: He's like, yo, hold on.
- 46:08SPEAKER_00: Like, let me finish my order first, whatever.
- 46:10SPEAKER_00: Hold on.
- 46:11SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry, I'm gonna stop it again.
- 46:12SPEAKER_00: So he's already ordering.
- 46:14SPEAKER_00: Well, it was okay.
- 46:15SPEAKER_00: They didn't they didn't make that too clear.
- 46:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 46:17SPEAKER_00: But that basically it was about skipping the line.
- 46:19SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 46:19SPEAKER_00: That was the issue.
- 46:20SPEAKER_00: Because there's no line in the bodega.
- 46:22SPEAKER_00: Or he was ordering and she would try to box him out to order.
- 46:26SPEAKER_00: It was something like that.
- 46:27SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 46:27SPEAKER_00: It was it was some the dispute was over that.
- 46:29SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 46:29SPEAKER_00: They start arguing.
- 46:30SPEAKER_00: This transgender person spits on him.
- 46:33SPEAKER_00: Oh nah, man.
- 46:34SPEAKER_00: So then the guy takes his lemonade or whatever and he throws it on him.
- 46:41SPEAKER_00: Then the transgender person backs out a knife.
- 46:44SPEAKER_00: Juxa.
- 46:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I got a history with nah.
- 46:47SPEAKER_02: So the the thing, the thing that's pissing me off, right?
- 46:53SPEAKER_02: Why did you respond with lemonade after you got spat on?
- 47:00SPEAKER_00: Because he didn't want to put his hands on a transgender person?
- 47:03SPEAKER_00: I'm not arguing with a transgender person.
- 47:05SPEAKER_01: It's over.
- 47:07SPEAKER_02: You got two options.
- 47:09SPEAKER_02: You kill or run.
- 47:12SPEAKER_00: Well, I mean, uh, maybe he thought it was a woman and he didn't want to be the woman.
- 47:18SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 47:19SPEAKER_00: I'm not arguing with a transgender person, though.
- 47:20SPEAKER_00: I see transgender women.
- 47:21SPEAKER_00: What would you have done?
- 47:22SPEAKER_00: I would have let them order.
- 47:23SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna lie.
- 47:24SPEAKER_00: A transgender person, I'm gonna let him order.
- 47:26SPEAKER_00: It depends on how big they are.
- 47:27SPEAKER_00: They was tall.
- 47:28SPEAKER_00: Bad nah.
- 47:29SPEAKER_00: Like that from what I seen, they was like 6'3 or something.
- 47:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm leaving the store.
- 47:33SPEAKER_01: I'm not even hungry no more.
- 47:37SPEAKER_01: Let's say he died.
- 47:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's dead.
- 47:39SPEAKER_00: She killed him on the spot.
- 47:40SPEAKER_00: Like, she, I don't think he even made to the hospital.
- 47:41SPEAKER_00: Like, he was dead.
- 47:42SPEAKER_01: Boom, bot.
- 47:43SPEAKER_01: Ooh, boy.
- 47:44SPEAKER_01: Um, this happened in New York.
- 47:46SPEAKER_01: What borough?
- 47:47SPEAKER_00: Probably the Bronx.
- 47:48SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 47:48SPEAKER_01: Oh, if it happened to the Bronx, I can't.
- 47:50SPEAKER_01: Hey, that shit that happened.
- 47:52SPEAKER_01: I'm not sure.
- 47:53SPEAKER_00: It wasn't Queens and it wasn't Manhattan.
- 47:55SPEAKER_00: Well, if it was Manhattan, it was Harlem.
- 47:56SPEAKER_00: It was like some hood area.
- 47:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 47:57SPEAKER_01: So honestly, bro, the hood, the hood transgender person, yeah, you can't.
- 48:03SPEAKER_00: I'm not arguing with transgender anywhere.
- 48:05SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna lie.
- 48:06SPEAKER_00: Nah, if they if they're not.
- 48:07SPEAKER_00: Unless it's a uh a woman turns a man, then we can argue.
- 48:11SPEAKER_00: You got a problem, so you gotta do it.
- 48:13SPEAKER_00: What you mean?
- 48:13SPEAKER_00: You gotta stop it.
- 48:14SPEAKER_00: No, because those people, those, those are not the dangerous ones.
- 48:16SPEAKER_00: The dangerous ones is the men turns a woman.
- 48:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's a man.
- 48:20SPEAKER_00: With estrogen.
- 48:22SPEAKER_01: Damn.
- 48:23SPEAKER_01: So my man got packed.
- 48:26SPEAKER_01: Um, so etiquette, like that was that was another part of the topic.
- 48:29SPEAKER_01: It was um it was corner store etiquette.
- 48:32SPEAKER_01: So this is how I would have played that situation.
- 48:34SPEAKER_01: If this is a cornerstone in the neighborhood I'm not from, I walk in very meek, chillin', I I scope the scene.
- 48:42SPEAKER_01: I see, because sometimes they got the one oct that's doing both jobs, or they got two separate ox, one nigga cooking, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 48:48SPEAKER_01: One nigga doing the thing.
- 48:49SPEAKER_01: I go to the nigga that's cooking, I'll let the nigga know.
- 48:54SPEAKER_01: I'm about to order a bacon naked cheese.
- 48:57SPEAKER_01: That's who I put my order with.
- 48:58SPEAKER_01: So I'm not even arguing with the nigga in the front.
- 49:01SPEAKER_01: I I'll go to the nigga in the front, and I might be like, yo, I ordered the bacon naked cheese.
- 49:06SPEAKER_01: I'm about to get the best beverage for those that don't know.
- 49:11SPEAKER_01: Transgender walk-in.
- 49:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 49:14SPEAKER_01: Excuse me, like, like it's a physical thing, like they bump me.
- 49:16SPEAKER_01: Like, because at that point, there's no line.
- 49:18SPEAKER_01: That's that's the part that's freaking me out.
- 49:20SPEAKER_01: Because there's no line.
- 49:21SPEAKER_00: But you you gotta think, like, if it's okay, say like we talking about even a regular girl in the Bronx, they're gonna come with attitude.
- 49:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so it's like, excuse me, nigga, fuck out of here.
- 49:30SPEAKER_00: I'm ordering, uh-da-da.
- 49:31SPEAKER_01: Then it's like and at that point, I assess the situation, my same is in, but I didn't pay.
- 49:36SPEAKER_01: So I'm good money.
- 49:38SPEAKER_01: I just leave, nigga.
- 49:39SPEAKER_01: Like, but if I'm if I if it's one nigga doing both jobs and I paid, I stand outside.
- 49:48SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna lie.
- 49:50SPEAKER_00: If it's a situation where I'm at and a transgender person walks in and we in a hood in a store, I'm not doing nothing until they leave.
- 49:59SPEAKER_00: Because one, damn, I'm gonna sound I'm sounding crazy right now.
- 50:03SPEAKER_00: But this is this I'm we're talking about real life facts.
- 50:05SPEAKER_00: Survivor skills, one of them.
- 50:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 50:07SPEAKER_00: Street smart.
- 50:08SPEAKER_00: Street smart.
- 50:08SPEAKER_00: I go into a store.
- 50:09SPEAKER_00: This happened to me um when I used to work in the Bronx a couple months ago.
- 50:13SPEAKER_00: I walk into a store, there was a transgender person in there, right?
- 50:18SPEAKER_00: I'm staying clear.
- 50:19SPEAKER_00: I'm not looking at nothing, I'm not looking at to what I want to buy.
- 50:23SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna wait until they're done.
- 50:25SPEAKER_00: Because one, I don't want them to talk to me.
- 50:27SPEAKER_00: That's my number one fear.
- 50:29SPEAKER_01: You got no problem.
- 50:30SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no, because what's wrong?
- 50:33SPEAKER_00: I don't want them to come and try to bag me.
- 50:36SPEAKER_01: You think everybody wants to fuck that's your problem.
- 50:39SPEAKER_00: Because it's happened to me before with a transgender person, transgender gay, everything.
- 50:43SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm just staying like that.
- 50:45SPEAKER_00: You should be flattered then.
- 50:46SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 50:46SPEAKER_00: I'm not saying that I feel offended that they're trying to talk to me.
- 50:49SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying for me to feel comfortable, I'm staying out the way.
- 50:52SPEAKER_01: What were you dressed like?
- 50:53SPEAKER_01: Maybe you dress like a slut.
- 50:57SPEAKER_01: I just gotta understand what's going on.
- 50:59SPEAKER_01: I'm not just gonna blame them.
- 51:00SPEAKER_00: I'm not but this day is not the problem.
- 51:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, dear.
- 51:03SPEAKER_00: I'm just go go ahead, boom.
- 51:06SPEAKER_00: You leave, now I'm gonna go.
- 51:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I want this.
- 51:08SPEAKER_00: Boom, boom.
- 51:09SPEAKER_00: Because in that situation, when I was in the store, um I walked in, I seen him immediately, and I'm like, okay.
- 51:18SPEAKER_00: I didn't do an evaluation because at first I thought it was just like some little Spanish girl.
- 51:21SPEAKER_00: Then I did a close evaluation, and I'm like, okay, this is uh a man turned to a woman.
- 51:27SPEAKER_00: Small up.
- 51:29SPEAKER_00: They were close to my height.
- 51:31SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 51:31SPEAKER_00: Like you were in trouble.
- 51:32SPEAKER_00: Like if we would have, if we would have gone to a fist party, it would have like I would have had to try.
- 51:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you were in trouble.
- 51:38SPEAKER_00: So now, and there's other niggas in the store, and everybody's quiet.
- 51:44SPEAKER_00: Funny because when you in a situation like that in the hood, it's like you can have your full conversation, a transgender person walks in.
- 51:52SPEAKER_00: Everybody stop talking.
- 51:53SPEAKER_00: You gotta leave.
- 51:54SPEAKER_00: So now as soon as they walked out, the nigga, the nigga that was the op, it was like, yo, if any of y'all niggas look at that, I'm on y'all.
- 52:00SPEAKER_00: I got video cameras, I'm send that to your hood, blah, blah, blah.
- 52:04SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, yo.
- 52:05SPEAKER_00: There was the other day, just to get into another story.
- 52:10SPEAKER_00: I'm in a store, right?
- 52:11SPEAKER_00: I'm walking past, so there's a smoke shop right here, and there's a corner store over here.
- 52:15SPEAKER_00: So I walk past the smoke shop.
- 52:17SPEAKER_00: I look at some nigga, some tall ass nigga in the store.
- 52:19SPEAKER_00: I look at him and I just keep walking, boom.
- 52:22SPEAKER_00: I get into the store I ordered, right?
- 52:25SPEAKER_00: The nigga, same nigga comes into the store that I'm in now.
- 52:28SPEAKER_00: I turn, I see him, I'm like, damn, this nigga mad tall.
- 52:30SPEAKER_00: Nigga got his hood on, uh, mean mugging, boom.
- 52:33SPEAKER_00: I'm like, all right.
- 52:34SPEAKER_00: I'm like, hope this nigga ain't on no bullshit because it's late at night.
- 52:36SPEAKER_00: It's like 11 o'clock at night.
- 52:38SPEAKER_00: I'm ordering, boom, boom.
- 52:40SPEAKER_00: And I'm waiting for my food.
- 52:41SPEAKER_00: And a nigga standing behind me now.
- 52:43SPEAKER_00: And he like, uh-uh, what are you doing here?
- 52:47SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, I just kept my head straight.
- 52:50SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, yo, please do not be talking to me.
- 52:53SPEAKER_00: And he and he said it again, he's like, uh-uh, what is you doing here?
- 52:57SPEAKER_00: And he was on the phone.
- 52:58SPEAKER_00: No, the nigga was talking to the the cashier.
- 53:01SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 53:01SPEAKER_00: So I was like, oh my god, thank you.
- 53:03SPEAKER_01: So gotta, you gotta stop dressing like that.
- 53:09SPEAKER_01: That's what you tell a woman.
- 53:11SPEAKER_01: You gotta you gotta flip it.
- 53:13SPEAKER_01: You can't you can't, if you can't take it, stop dressing like that.
- 53:17SPEAKER_00: Okay, that's fair.
- 53:20SPEAKER_01: I have my work uniform on, but like a man in uniform, you don't do it.
- 53:24SPEAKER_01: But um, yeah, man.
- 53:25SPEAKER_01: Shout out that dude that lost his life in a bodega.
- 53:27SPEAKER_01: That gotta be one of the top three worst places to die.
- 53:30SPEAKER_00: That's a top three worst ways to die.
- 53:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, cat can't eat in your face.
- 53:34SPEAKER_01: Um, nigga, niggas gonna put up a mural.
- 53:37SPEAKER_01: If you're from that hood, if you're not, then you just a story.
- 53:39SPEAKER_01: That's the sad part.
- 53:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 53:41SPEAKER_01: You're not from it, his job not gonna do shit.
- 53:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, his job don't give a damn.
- 53:44SPEAKER_01: Damn, that's fucked up.
- 53:45SPEAKER_01: But I guess the moral of the story is like with Cash, you just don't that he it was he had to be from New York if he's working for USBS.
- 53:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 53:53SPEAKER_01: So he should have known better.
- 53:54SPEAKER_01: I think that in the hood, people think in the hood, like the apex predator is like the gang leader or the super, super muscle nigga, or the shooter.
- 54:02SPEAKER_01: Nah, but the the apex predator is really the the transgender person.
- 54:06SPEAKER_01: They they're the they're the apex they're the apex predator.
- 54:10SPEAKER_01: Oh shit.
- 54:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they are though.
- 54:11SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, yeah, they are.
- 54:16SPEAKER_01: When they come around, niggas is on the game.
- 54:18SPEAKER_00: And the transgender can definitely take down, take down your gang.
- 54:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 54:22SPEAKER_00: Because I know niggas that that done fuck with transgenders and they whole life probably.
- 54:27SPEAKER_01: That's the apex predator in the hood.
- 54:28SPEAKER_01: Niggas don't know that.
- 54:29SPEAKER_01: It's like how the lion and the tiger, like we we all think the lion is the king of the jungle, but it's actually the tiger, it's the same thing.
- 54:36SPEAKER_00: We did the sign.
- 54:37SPEAKER_00: So we so you're just gonna start referring to transgenders as tigers?
- 54:42SPEAKER_00: Apex.
- 54:43SPEAKER_00: There's an apex predator in the air.
- 54:44SPEAKER_01: Apex walked in.
- 54:50SPEAKER_01: A tiger walk in the spot.
- 54:51SPEAKER_01: That's not how that gives him a tiger.
- 54:53SPEAKER_01: A tiger walk in the spot.
- 54:55SPEAKER_01: What the fuck do you?
- 54:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, nigga.
- 55:00SPEAKER_01: It's the same thing.
- 55:01SPEAKER_01: It's the same thing.
- 55:03SPEAKER_01: That nigga bumped the tiger.
- 55:04SPEAKER_01: He's dead.
- 55:05SPEAKER_01: That's yeah.
- 55:05SPEAKER_01: Can't bump the tiger.
- 55:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so game over.
- 55:09SPEAKER_01: Damn, R.I.P.
- 55:10SPEAKER_00: that man.
- 55:10SPEAKER_00: He was black.
- 55:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's black man.
- 55:13SPEAKER_00: Killed by a Latin next.
- 55:16SPEAKER_00: I guess.
- 55:17SPEAKER_01: Oh, I see what you're doing.
- 55:19SPEAKER_01: You can't put an A or O and then that shit.
- 55:22SPEAKER_01: I see what you're doing.
- 55:23SPEAKER_01: But yeah, man.
- 55:24SPEAKER_01: RIP to him.
- 55:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, New York has been bugging the fuck out.
- 55:26SPEAKER_01: It's been bugging the fuck out.
- 55:28SPEAKER_01: Um, I mean, there's a there's a there's a club that closed, right?
- 55:33SPEAKER_01: You I I guess I'm an ISO on this.
- 55:35SPEAKER_01: And I really wish uh Toon and Chubbers here, because we've had some times in there, boy.
- 55:40SPEAKER_01: It's called Catra.
- 55:42SPEAKER_01: So I would say that's the first big boy club we ever been to.
- 55:46SPEAKER_01: It's not a it's it's not a lounge, it's a club.
- 55:49SPEAKER_01: It's a line.
- 55:50SPEAKER_01: They hold.
- 55:50SPEAKER_01: We learned all the tricks of the trade.
- 55:52SPEAKER_01: They hold the line.
- 55:53SPEAKER_01: You know, dudes free before 10, women free uh up until 11.
- 55:57SPEAKER_01: They'll hold the line so we they make niggas forced to get in after 10.
- 56:03SPEAKER_01: They'll they'll hold you on that line until you get to the front.
- 56:05SPEAKER_01: And they know you can't get in with sneakers.
- 56:07SPEAKER_01: We don't know that because we we know it's green.
- 56:09SPEAKER_01: Nah, nigga, no sneakers in here tonight.
- 56:12SPEAKER_01: Then you looking around, you don't know what to do because you've never been to a club before.
- 56:16SPEAKER_01: We gotta go back home, mister.
- 56:17SPEAKER_01: Oh, or you know, I've seen other niggas walk in with sneakers on.
- 56:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 56:23SPEAKER_01: So we're looking at each other like this is just us, but nah, that club taught us a lot.
- 56:27SPEAKER_01: And I wish these dudes are here just to back up my claims.
- 56:30SPEAKER_01: But yeah, I learned a lot there, man.
- 56:31SPEAKER_01: Like, I got one man that I hang out with.
- 56:33SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna say, oh no, he's been on here.
- 56:34SPEAKER_01: Uh Josh, he's been on here.
- 56:36SPEAKER_01: That nigga will be wearing do-rags online.
- 56:38SPEAKER_01: And like when niggas see us as a group and they see a nigga with a do-rag on is lunch.
- 56:42SPEAKER_01: Why would you do that?
- 56:43SPEAKER_01: Because we didn't know any better.
- 56:45SPEAKER_01: So, so they rubbing their hands, they waiting for us to get to the front.
- 56:48SPEAKER_01: We got one nigga with no button up, one nigga with sneakers on, and a nigga with a do-rag, that's$150 for them easy.
- 56:55SPEAKER_01: Like, that's that's not a top of the money they're gonna collect just by working.
- 56:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 56:58SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, we learned a lot.
- 56:59SPEAKER_01: Kacha taught us a lot of lessons.
- 57:01SPEAKER_01: One thing that Kacha was very famous for, uh, in my personal experience, was that was my first interaction with older women in a club setting.
- 57:09SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 57:10SPEAKER_01: So, like, as a young man, you you see how you felt around the apex?
- 57:17SPEAKER_01: Like you was a thing to them, like you were something they could take advantage of.
- 57:21SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 57:21SPEAKER_01: That's how I felt in contra for the first couple of times I was in there.
- 57:24SPEAKER_01: I was like, yo, there's women in here that they they they know what they're doing a little bit.
- 57:28SPEAKER_01: They they know what buttons to press, what drink to buy, what thing to say, and they, you know, they old.
- 57:33SPEAKER_01: And it was it was a very good learning experience.
- 57:36SPEAKER_01: So that was like a good starter club, and they packed it up, it's gone.
- 57:39SPEAKER_01: They had a last party on like a Tuesday or some shit like that.
- 57:42SPEAKER_01: That just goes to show you like how the parties.
- 57:44SPEAKER_01: I think the party scene is dead in New York.
- 57:45SPEAKER_01: I don't know if that's a New York thing or just a generational thing.
- 57:48SPEAKER_01: I don't know if like people go to the club like that anymore.
- 57:50SPEAKER_01: The last time I went to the club, I think you were there and we were just looking around.
- 57:54SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah.
- 57:54SPEAKER_01: That shit is fucking weird.
- 57:56SPEAKER_01: Like, so you know, end of an era, I'll uh pour a shout out.
- 58:00SPEAKER_02: Um, okay, yeah.
- 58:08SPEAKER_00: I forgot we didn't okay, yeah.
- 58:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 58:10SPEAKER_01: So yeah, that's that's how I feel.
- 58:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, R.I.P.
- 58:14SPEAKER_00: Cadra, man.
- 58:14SPEAKER_01: R.I.P.
- 58:15SPEAKER_01: Cadra.
- 58:15SPEAKER_01: Um, yeah, that's that's pretty much everything on the um on the New York tip.
- 58:23SPEAKER_02: You got anything else you wanna talk about?
- 58:25SPEAKER_02: I got one more topic I want to talk about.
- 58:27SPEAKER_02: But before we get, I think that's a good closing topic.
- 58:30SPEAKER_02: Um I don't know what we are.
- 58:33SPEAKER_02: Uh you could you could go ahead.
- 58:34SPEAKER_02: Sure.
- 58:35SPEAKER_02: Nothing near and dear to your heart.
- 58:36SPEAKER_02: What time are we at?
- 58:38SPEAKER_02: We're about to be at an hour.
- 58:41SPEAKER_02: No, it's a it's a quick little hit of episode, man, because these niggas decided not to show up.
- 58:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I guess we can save the rest of the stuff for that time.
- 58:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I a lot of the stuff that happened, I kinda need other niggas' opinions on it.
- 58:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, cause Yeah, yeah, you could just go through that.
- 58:55SPEAKER_01: Alright.
- 58:56SPEAKER_01: So while we was on break, young thug, not to bring him up again, but you know that's my guy.
- 59:02SPEAKER_02: His um his uh jail telephone got like leaked.
- 59:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 59:08SPEAKER_02: And he was talking to a young lady.
- 59:12SPEAKER_01: I was seeing a lot of discourse about this.
- 59:14SPEAKER_01: I actually had a very spirited conversation with my girl about this.
- 59:16SPEAKER_01: But like, why why are niggas like this?
- 59:19SPEAKER_00: That's what your girl has.
- 59:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like what the fuck is like why the scientist is is like holding him down, blah blah blah blah blah.
- 59:28SPEAKER_01: So the first thing I like had to and I've had hundreds of conversations like this with my girl because this is the shit we we get into.
- 59:36SPEAKER_02: Young Doug is a multimillionaire in his mid-30s.
- 59:46SPEAKER_01: If you're a woman dating this person in this specific lifestyle, he's he didn't get his money from fucking being an architect, he didn't get his money from he didn't inherit it.
- 59:54SPEAKER_01: He earned his money the hard way.
- 59:57SPEAKER_01: So if you think because a a girl is pretty, a girl held him down, that that is gonna stop him from entertaining other women.
- 1:00:11SPEAKER_01: I just I gotta bridge this like that's just bad like logic.
- 1:00:16SPEAKER_01: That's number one.
- 1:00:17SPEAKER_01: So the people that were shocked were mostly women.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:00:21SPEAKER_01: And there were some women that weren't shocked.
- 1:00:23SPEAKER_01: They were like, oh no, this is what I'm talking about.
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_01: Niggas, like, Mariah is such a lover girl, and this is what always happens to lover girls.
- 1:00:29SPEAKER_01: They always get themselves involved in these type of dudes.
- 1:00:31SPEAKER_01: And I didn't see Mariah complain.
- 1:00:35SPEAKER_00: Not publicly, of course.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, it was just.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exact exactly.
- 1:00:39SPEAKER_01: And and that's one of the reasons why I think Young Doug is so enthralled with her because she knows how to handle herself in these situations.
- 1:00:46SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying she was always like that.
- 1:00:47SPEAKER_01: She probably went through the trials and tribulations and realized, hey, if I'm gonna date these type of dudes, this is what I'm gonna have to be able to deal with.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_01: So that was my first thing.
- 1:00:55SPEAKER_01: And my second thing was that was some player shit.
- 1:01:00SPEAKER_01: I liked everything that he did.
- 1:01:01SPEAKER_01: That shit was cool.
- 1:01:03SPEAKER_01: Oh, how he responded to um He handled that shit.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_01: Like, when you open up the player's textbook, I think it's in there.
- 1:01:09SPEAKER_01: Like how he handled that.
- 1:01:10SPEAKER_01: That shit was a masterpiece.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so for the people that don't know, what happened was Young Thug, they leaked a phone call with um Devin Haney's wife, his current wife or baby mother, whatever.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_00: And she's pregnant.
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_00: Well, she yeah, she well, she just had the baby, but she was pregnant at the time of this news leak where she was on the phone with Young Doug.
- 1:01:27SPEAKER_00: And Young Thug was um telling her, like, yo, basically he had heard something about her and he confronted her about it on the phone, which made her cry.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_00: And she's like, Oh, I meant for you, God made me for you, and blah, blah, blah, blah, all this shit.
- 1:01:40SPEAKER_00: So then the thing leaked, and everybody was like, Oh, I can't believe he was doing this when he was on the phone with Marathi Science.
- 1:01:45SPEAKER_00: Also, another phone call leaked when um Young Thug was talking to somebody, I forgot who it was, but he was basically- One of his man.
- 1:01:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was one of his man's.
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_00: And he was like, Yo, this girl OD in love with you, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:01:55SPEAKER_00: And he was like, Yeah, I think she's too in love, because blah, blah, blah, blah, because basically he's like, nigga, I got too much bitches and all this shit.
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like and I just want to let y'all know.
- 1:02:04SPEAKER_00: Well, damn, this guy's snitching.
- 1:02:07SPEAKER_00: But like, as somebody that worked in jail for a long time, do you you think that okay, so in jail, you have a certain amount of clicks you get each day where you can be on the phone for well, I know in New York it's 21 minutes or some shit like that.
- 1:02:25SPEAKER_00: I forgot the exact time, because I've been out for a minute.
- 1:02:28SPEAKER_00: And that was out of what?
- 1:02:30SPEAKER_00: He was in jail.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_00: Huh?
- 1:02:32SPEAKER_00: He was in jail?
- 1:02:33SPEAKER_00: No, I was working in jail.
- 1:02:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like we got new fans, nigga.
- 1:02:35SPEAKER_00: Oh, my fault.
- 1:02:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I was a pressure officer for cop Sure.
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_00: I was a pressure officer for a few years.
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_00: And um, you get the call for 21 minutes, I believe.
- 1:02:46SPEAKER_00: And that time comes back every three hours, I think, in Rikers Island at least.
- 1:02:51SPEAKER_00: And if you're not getting that call from your nigga, or damn, this is snitching, though.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_01: No, it's not.
- 1:02:59SPEAKER_00: Okay, so if your nigga not calling you every three hours, or you're not available to get be called every three hours because you probably have a job and have a life or whatever, or he's not spending the whole 21 minutes on the phone with you, he's gonna be talking to somebody else.
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_01: He's making his round.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I mean, at the end of the day, that's just how niggas are.
- 1:03:18SPEAKER_00: Like, niggas was home when cheating on you.
- 1:03:20SPEAKER_00: So, which makes you think that he's gonna go to jail and not talk to other girls?
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_00: Because he's not fucking them.
- 1:03:24SPEAKER_00: So, which one you gonna be mad more about?
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_00: You're gonna be mad that would you be if you were right a silence, you're gonna be mad that Young Thug was fucking other bitches, or you'll be mad that Young Thug was on the phone with other bitches when he when he was in jail.
- 1:03:33SPEAKER_00: Because he can't do nothing with those girls.
- 1:03:34SPEAKER_00: What they gonna do for him?
- 1:03:35SPEAKER_00: They don't he don't need them to send money or clothes or nothing.
- 1:03:38SPEAKER_00: He got that already.
- 1:03:38SPEAKER_00: He's looking for conversation.
- 1:03:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's it's it's player shit.
- 1:03:42SPEAKER_01: So, like I talk, I talk this player lingo shit all the time, right?
- 1:03:46SPEAKER_01: But I'm reformed, by the way.
- 1:03:48SPEAKER_01: Like, this is a past life.
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_01: I'm done.
- 1:03:50SPEAKER_01: Um, they say the knife, the life never leaves, though.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_01: But it it's like I still have my I still have my skills though.
- 1:03:57SPEAKER_01: So the thing that was dope to me, right, is like watching the squares on social media like soak up the game.
- 1:04:06SPEAKER_01: Like a lot of dudes was like, oh nah, that nigga, that nigga was on the phone, boo cuffed up, and I was like, Y'all don't get it.
- 1:04:12SPEAKER_00: Nah, the only thing I didn't like, he was crying.
- 1:04:14SPEAKER_00: I was like, I don't think he was really crying.
- 1:04:17SPEAKER_01: I think that was a move.
- 1:04:18SPEAKER_01: I think that was an old school.
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_01: I'm telling you, that nigga was in his fucking birkin bag, nigga.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_01: Like, I think it was a move.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_01: I'm telling you, bro.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_01: Like, I was like, I'm gonna give y'all this quick story, then we get the fuck up out of here, right?
- 1:04:32SPEAKER_02: I too worked in the jail.
- 1:04:35SPEAKER_02: Juvenile detention, AC.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_02: So we was doing training.
- 1:04:41SPEAKER_01: And there's I'm I don't wanna say it, because these people still like still be working and shit.
- 1:04:46SPEAKER_01: It was this is about the training.
- 1:04:48SPEAKER_01: So we it's a it's a bunch of it's the class is 90% dudes.
- 1:04:54SPEAKER_01: And I think there's three women.
- 1:04:57SPEAKER_01: I sat at the table with three women.
- 1:04:59SPEAKER_01: Not by design, not by choice, it just happened that way.
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_01: So the the the class is like a couple months.
- 1:05:04SPEAKER_01: So at the end of the class, like, you know, you spend enough time around people, you get cool with everybody, everybody's like, oh, we're about to go into just jungle.
- 1:05:10SPEAKER_01: We all gotta like be on the same team.
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_01: You probably might do the same thing.
- 1:05:13SPEAKER_01: Like it's like camaraderie builds through the 'cause we're all about to do this intense thing.
- 1:05:18SPEAKER_01: It's like going into a football game, going into war.
- 1:05:20SPEAKER_01: Like not to diminish, you know.
- 1:05:22SPEAKER_01: So towards the end of the class, everybody's getting loose, everybody's getting friendly.
- 1:05:26SPEAKER_01: Because a lot of the training we do is physical because we weren't allowed to um punch or kick.
- 1:05:30SPEAKER_01: So they taught us like this weird ass judo thing that doesn't work.
- 1:05:34SPEAKER_01: But you have to know how to do it just in case.
- 1:05:36SPEAKER_01: You have to they were called restraints to restrain a uh a child.
- 1:05:40SPEAKER_01: So we're at the end of the class now, we all like going around the room like talking about each other.
- 1:05:44SPEAKER_01: And this like this light skinned dude.
- 1:05:46SPEAKER_01: He's black, but he's light skinned.
- 1:05:48SPEAKER_01: And he's like, yo, I'm a I'm a quiet, reserved person in the world because I like to appear.
- 1:05:54SPEAKER_01: He's like, yo, gum's over there, because like the tables is far.
- 1:05:57SPEAKER_02: He's like, he might have y'all fooled.
- 1:06:01SPEAKER_02: But I seen it.
- 1:06:03SPEAKER_02: I seen the the the glint on his sniper scope.
- 1:06:07SPEAKER_01: And nobody in the room knew what he was talking about.
- 1:06:10SPEAKER_01: But I knew what he was talking about.
- 1:06:13SPEAKER_01: So it's just this thing that other dudes that's players they could recognize.
- 1:06:19SPEAKER_01: I I truly don't believe you are a player in life until another, and it might sound oh, this is fucking gay.
- 1:06:25SPEAKER_01: Until another guy recognizes your game.
- 1:06:28SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:06:29SPEAKER_01: And that was like I that was my moment.
- 1:06:32SPEAKER_01: I never like I never did nothing, mind you, the women that are there, they're like older women, like no, it's a career job.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_01: Ain't no fucking BBL fucking pageant beauty queens doing a fucking job working in a jail.
- 1:06:43SPEAKER_00: Nah, not Rikers Islanders.
- 1:06:44SPEAKER_01: Nah, maybe when they yeah, for my job, that wasn't the case.
- 1:06:47SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:06:48SPEAKER_01: Like, nah.
- 1:06:49SPEAKER_01: So not to disrespect those women.
- 1:06:51SPEAKER_01: They just weren't, they weren't in there for that.
- 1:06:52SPEAKER_01: They weren't trying to find a man, they weren't dolling themselves up.
- 1:06:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:06:55SPEAKER_01: Cause we're working with kids.
- 1:06:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:06:56SPEAKER_01: Let's be real.
- 1:06:57SPEAKER_01: But I have some stories about that too.
- 1:06:59SPEAKER_01: But yeah, it's fucking weird.
- 1:07:01SPEAKER_01: But so he like there's nothing I really did.
- 1:07:04SPEAKER_01: It's just like the aura.
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_01: The aura because the kids would say.
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_01: So it was like one of those moments.
- 1:07:11SPEAKER_01: So when I seen Thug doing what he was doing, I was like, he was restoring the feeling.
- 1:07:15SPEAKER_01: I was like, yeah, this is this is player shit.
- 1:07:17SPEAKER_01: And player shit doesn't mean cheating on your girl.
- 1:07:19SPEAKER_01: That's not what player shit is.
- 1:07:20SPEAKER_01: Player shit is you know the game, you understand the game, you know how to play the game.
- 1:07:26SPEAKER_01: Because there's some dudes that know that there is a game being played.
- 1:07:29SPEAKER_01: It's like when you go to pickup at the park.
- 1:07:31SPEAKER_01: There's some niggas that are like on the side, they never play.
- 1:07:34SPEAKER_01: But they're there, they understand the game, but they just know for themselves, I can't play that game.
- 1:07:38SPEAKER_01: I respect it, I like it, it's cool, but I can't play.
- 1:07:41SPEAKER_01: Then there's the niggas that are begging to get in the game.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_01: Yo, yo, yo, yo, I got next, I got next, I got next.
- 1:07:45SPEAKER_01: They get in the game and they suck.
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_01: And then they mad at, they mad at the players.
- 1:07:49SPEAKER_01: Like, fuck y'all niggas, man.
- 1:07:50SPEAKER_01: Y'all niggas is only nice because y'all tall.
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_01: Y'all niggas is only nice because y'all niggas all here every day not getting no money.
- 1:07:57SPEAKER_01: And then there's the niggas that's in the game.
- 1:07:59SPEAKER_01: Win, lose, or draw, they there.
- 1:08:01SPEAKER_01: They there for the love of the game.
- 1:08:03SPEAKER_01: They're not there for anything else.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_01: And I saw that with Young Thug.
- 1:08:06SPEAKER_01: And I just wanted to say that out there.
- 1:08:08SPEAKER_01: So all the so all the players out there, and like I said again, player does not mean cheating on your girl.
- 1:08:12SPEAKER_01: That's that's not sometimes it is playership, but it's not always playership.
- 1:08:15SPEAKER_01: But shout out all the players out there.
- 1:08:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I wanted to say, I wanted to talk about that, right?
- 1:08:19SPEAKER_00: So Devin Haney's wife, right?
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, she's a player too.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 1:08:25SPEAKER_00: So you can do this.
- 1:08:27SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 1:08:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:08:28SPEAKER_00: This is I gotta, I don't feel like this is something I could talk about right now.
- 1:08:31SPEAKER_00: I gotta think more about it.
- 1:08:32SPEAKER_00: No, of course.
- 1:08:33SPEAKER_00: If we're gonna go, if we're gonna go there about her being a player.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_00: Because what I was gonna say is, well, you already gave me an answer that you think that's player, but it like how how does that reflect on woman as to you can cry for a nigga and all this shit, but that's just part of the game of being uh a masandrist.
- 1:08:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but thought called her a player too.
- 1:08:52SPEAKER_01: He said she keep it pee more than niggas.
- 1:08:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:08:56SPEAKER_01: Because he knows he probably he probably knows other shit that she's doing.
- 1:09:00SPEAKER_00: Of course, of course, of course.
- 1:09:02SPEAKER_00: So that that is a very interesting inkle that a lot of people didn't catch on to.
- 1:09:06SPEAKER_01: I'm telling you, yeah, he the lingo was there.
- 1:09:08SPEAKER_01: That's twin, she keep it pee.
- 1:09:10SPEAKER_01: He was there.
- 1:09:10SPEAKER_01: Some of that shit was also just players on his end to make sure.
- 1:09:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:09:14SPEAKER_01: His whole thing wasn't messed up.
- 1:09:15SPEAKER_01: And then what I didn't like, but I understood when he was like, I can have that shit if I want.
- 1:09:19SPEAKER_01: Like that was a little aggressive.
- 1:09:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that was a bit much.
- 1:09:23SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:09:23SPEAKER_00: Like, he could have been out of trouble, but then he put himself in the danger zone.
- 1:09:27SPEAKER_01: But sometimes you gotta remind your shorty.
- 1:09:29SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:09:31SPEAKER_00: But I mean, uh, I'm a regular nigga, so I can't really speak on that type of shit.
- 1:09:35SPEAKER_00: So what I wanted to say was a light-skinned woman, the problem.
- 1:09:42SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 1:09:43SPEAKER_00: Because look, Devin Haney's wife or baby mom, then you got Travis Hunter's girl, and damn, there was one more I forgot.
- 1:09:52SPEAKER_00: But all of these things are surrounding these specific looks of women and how they're making the men look in their scenario, and it's not looking good for Devin Haney.
- 1:10:02SPEAKER_00: Devin Haney is somebody that has a lot of image problems.
- 1:10:04SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, the internet hates him.
- 1:10:06SPEAKER_00: Well, it's deservedly so though, because if you just shut the fuck up, nobody would dislike you.
- 1:10:10SPEAKER_00: But this nigga, Devin Haney, that's the other thing I wanted to say.
- 1:10:13SPEAKER_00: Devin Haney has the worst PR of all time out of any athlete.
- 1:10:18SPEAKER_00: There has never been this nigga dad, don't shut the fuck up.
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_00: This nigga dad the other day for no reason just was like, yo, mind you, this fight happened almost a year ago.
- 1:10:29SPEAKER_00: This nigga dad was like, oh yeah.
- 1:10:31SPEAKER_00: And Charleston White wants to talk about my son losing the fight, but you lost the eye.
- 1:10:36SPEAKER_00: So count that score.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_01: I don't see the correlation.
- 1:10:38SPEAKER_01: What the fuck are you talking about?
- 1:10:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he don't want to box with Charleston White.
- 1:10:40SPEAKER_00: That's a bad yeah.
- 1:10:41SPEAKER_00: He's not gonna win.
- 1:10:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like Devin Haney's dad.
- 1:10:44SPEAKER_00: That's really not even Devin Haney.
- 1:10:46SPEAKER_00: Devin Haney don't even do nothing.
- 1:10:47SPEAKER_00: It's just his dad.
- 1:10:48SPEAKER_00: He's a dad nigga.
- 1:10:49SPEAKER_00: He's trying that's a nigga, you know, he tried to live through his dad.
- 1:10:52SPEAKER_00: Live through his son.
- 1:10:52SPEAKER_00: Textbook case.
- 1:10:53SPEAKER_00: Like it's amazing.
- 1:10:55SPEAKER_00: Devin Haney don't even do interviews.
- 1:10:56SPEAKER_00: His dad does interviews.
- 1:10:57SPEAKER_00: I don't even know if that nigga wanna box.
- 1:10:59SPEAKER_00: Devin Haney?
- 1:10:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he looked like he went a box.
- 1:11:01SPEAKER_00: He said he's coming back in March, I think.
- 1:11:03SPEAKER_00: I think his dad told me he gotta go back.
- 1:11:04SPEAKER_00: What's his dad a pimp?
- 1:11:07SPEAKER_00: I thought his dad was a drug dealer.
- 1:11:08SPEAKER_00: He went to Fed, he went to the Fez or something.
- 1:11:10SPEAKER_01: I thought he was a pimp, but I don't know.
- 1:11:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Devin Haney.
- 1:11:13SPEAKER_01: Like my my advice to him on some players, if I was in that situation with that girl, I should be my fucking you can't.
- 1:11:25SPEAKER_01: But that's the thing about the game.
- 1:11:26SPEAKER_01: You gotta love the game.
- 1:11:29SPEAKER_00: He's in if he's in the game.
- 1:11:30SPEAKER_00: So you saying if you a player, right, and you in the game, that you can't be you can't No, you can't be mad at the nigga, you can't be mad at the niggas.
- 1:11:38SPEAKER_01: No, not niggas, girls.
- 1:11:40SPEAKER_01: It depends on how the girl presented herself.
- 1:11:42SPEAKER_01: If you're a player, you're supposed to know that you like, oh, this girl is So he's just not he's just not a he's just uh Yeah, he's one of them niggas that oh I want to be in the game, wanna be in the game, got in the game and nigga put him on the ground.
- 1:11:52SPEAKER_01: That's a lot of niggas that just get money.
- 1:11:54SPEAKER_00: I think it's that's that's that's what I was saying.
- 1:11:56SPEAKER_00: You talk about niggas that got money used as a superpower, but these is niggas that's not you cannot use as a superpower if you don't understand the game.
- 1:12:03SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 1:12:04SPEAKER_00: But that's most people don't understand the game.
- 1:12:05SPEAKER_00: I agree with you.
- 1:12:06SPEAKER_01: So but you still can't tell them niggas not to use their superpower.
- 1:12:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but that's if you if I was a twin when I was 22, when I was in the game, when I was my fucking before my jersey got retired, when I was in the game, when I was fucking Kevin Durant out there, and you added a million dollars onto what I was doing, nigga, that would have been my superpower.
- 1:12:29SPEAKER_01: I'm telling you, because I would know how it works.
- 1:12:31SPEAKER_01: If I would have ran into Devin Haney's girl, if I'm Devin Haney, and I ran into that girl and I knocked her up, I even I put all that on me, and if I'm in his shoes, from a player's perspective, number one, you gotta charge it to the game.
- 1:12:42SPEAKER_01: That's number one.
- 1:12:43SPEAKER_01: You cannot be mad at her, you cannot be mad at Thug.
- 1:12:47SPEAKER_01: The only person you can be mad at is yourself.
- 1:12:49SPEAKER_01: You was playing bad defense, a nigga hit you with a three.
- 1:12:52SPEAKER_01: That's what happened.
- 1:12:53SPEAKER_01: So now you gotta go back to the drawing board.
- 1:12:55SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:12:56SPEAKER_01: You don't do no slime shit.
- 1:12:58SPEAKER_01: Cause this slime shit to go hit them a ride.
- 1:13:01SPEAKER_01: I understand that that's when niggas' minds go to.
- 1:13:03SPEAKER_01: Like, nah.
- 1:13:04SPEAKER_00: But that play is not gonna work.
- 1:13:05SPEAKER_00: That play just would've won't work.
- 1:13:06SPEAKER_01: Even if it would, even if it would have worked, that's that's not cool.
- 1:13:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's the deception.
- 1:13:11SPEAKER_01: What you do is you you you put it on her.
- 1:13:15SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:13:16SPEAKER_01: I got slime, you get you, I got slimed out.
- 1:13:18SPEAKER_01: I didn't know that this was the type of woman that she is.
- 1:13:21SPEAKER_01: I respect her.
- 1:13:21SPEAKER_01: She's a mother of my child, I'm not gonna disrespect her.
- 1:13:23SPEAKER_01: But at this time, I'm gonna take some time to myself and I'm gonna reevaluate things.
- 1:13:26SPEAKER_00: Or you could do the Zach Randolph.
- 1:13:31SPEAKER_01: That nigga went crazy.
- 1:13:32SPEAKER_01: That's tweeting still up there.
- 1:13:33SPEAKER_01: Like that's like, I don't know.
- 1:13:36SPEAKER_01: Who was he talking about?
- 1:13:37SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 1:13:40SPEAKER_01: I wonder what, like, what like what happened?
- 1:13:42SPEAKER_01: Like what he went through a phone or something?
- 1:13:44SPEAKER_01: Like he saw out, like he saw like yo, that's good.
- 1:13:48SPEAKER_01: That was before NBA Twitter was a thing.
- 1:13:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like he tweeted that.
- 1:13:51SPEAKER_01: Like, that wasn't a publicist, that was him.
- 1:13:53SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, this is the other thing I was thinking about.
- 1:13:56SPEAKER_00: You think that with this, well, I guess this would be part of being player, right?
- 1:14:01SPEAKER_00: So Mariah the Scientist made her rounds before she got with Young Thug.
- 1:14:04SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 1:14:04SPEAKER_00: And she fucked with niggas that Young Thug fuck with.
- 1:14:07SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:14:08SPEAKER_00: So him, do you think that she has to accept certain shit because he's accepting that history?
- 1:14:12SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 1:14:13SPEAKER_01: Because that's what a player would do, though.
- 1:14:15SPEAKER_01: A regular nigga done be like, oh, shuck, baby.
- 1:14:17SPEAKER_01: Listen, every girl's past matters.
- 1:14:20SPEAKER_01: But for me personally, like I've said a hundred times on this on this pod, as long as you did not participate in a train, like I told you, I think people, I think people are participating in trains gotta glow.
- 1:14:30SPEAKER_01: They have to glow green.
- 1:14:31SPEAKER_01: Like, yo, God, you gotta like make them glow green or they got a silver tooth.
- 1:14:34SPEAKER_00: Something that we all So what if a girl fucked two niggas in one day separately?
- 1:14:37SPEAKER_01: I would have to hit a context.
- 1:14:39SPEAKER_00: What do you mean context?
- 1:14:40SPEAKER_00: She was fucking with two different niggas and she fucked nigga A and a fucking nigga B.
- 1:14:43SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 1:14:43SPEAKER_01: Why would you do that?
- 1:14:44SPEAKER_00: What you mean?
- 1:14:45SPEAKER_01: Like, baby girl, you have like a low self-respect for yourself?
- 1:14:47SPEAKER_01: That's what it is.
- 1:14:51SPEAKER_01: I would need to know the context.
- 1:14:52SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:14:53SPEAKER_01: I don't, I don't, yo, women need guidance, honestly.
- 1:14:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:14:56SPEAKER_01: So from my perspective, I could probably, unless she had a train handle her, I could probably guide any woman and make her into a better woman.
- 1:15:03SPEAKER_01: So that's how I look at it.
- 1:15:04SPEAKER_01: Anyone.
- 1:15:05SPEAKER_01: Like, I used to have a list of women, like, me and my girl talk about this all the time.
- 1:15:08SPEAKER_01: Like, there's a list of women that are like famous that like if I were to get on and have money and influence, I would take them and make honest women out of them.
- 1:15:17SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:15:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:15:18SPEAKER_01: I could, I mean, I could see Black China was number one for me, but some nigga pee me too.
- 1:15:21SPEAKER_00: I could see, I could see girls, yeah.
- 1:15:23SPEAKER_00: I could see that.
- 1:15:24SPEAKER_00: Like that, yeah.
- 1:15:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there's a there's a bunch of them that they just need a nigga like.
- 1:15:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like there's some that's that's not too far going.
- 1:15:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, just need to iron them out.
- 1:15:32SPEAKER_00: And there's some that's in process of of, you know, like I see early stages like bad baby.
- 1:15:38SPEAKER_00: Like, she, I feel like not for me.
- 1:15:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, of course.
- 1:15:42SPEAKER_00: I'm not even, you know, but she's like, she, I think she had still has the potential to be like a good woman.
- 1:15:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, a good woman.
- 1:15:49SPEAKER_00: But she just in a situation with her, like you know what's going on with her?
- 1:15:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, too much too fast.
- 1:15:52SPEAKER_01: Like, she's like a baby father beating her up.
- 1:15:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so baby father beating her up.
- 1:15:56SPEAKER_00: She's being like psychologically abused, I feel, because she has cancer and she's dealing with cancer.
- 1:16:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's like, I didn't know that.
- 1:16:02SPEAKER_00: Feel like leukemia or something like that.
- 1:16:03SPEAKER_00: She's dealing with the with the process, and then like her baby father was like, Oh yeah, I'm trying to have six kids, blah blah blah blah.
- 1:16:09SPEAKER_00: Like he had a video.
- 1:16:10SPEAKER_00: He's recording her, he's like, And who's he?
- 1:16:12SPEAKER_01: Who's he?
- 1:16:12SPEAKER_01: Like somebody?
- 1:16:14SPEAKER_00: I forgot if he's like a rapper or some shit.
- 1:16:16SPEAKER_00: And he was like, Oh yeah, we're trying to have we gonna have six kids, blah blah blah.
- 1:16:19SPEAKER_00: Look out some, we make cute ass babies, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:16:21SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna have another one, right?
- 1:16:22SPEAKER_00: And he was like, um, not right now, because she's going through treatments of like cancer and shit.
- 1:16:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:16:28SPEAKER_00: It's like, not right now.
- 1:16:29SPEAKER_00: He's like, Yeah, but we're gonna have six, five more of them, right?
- 1:16:31SPEAKER_00: And he was like, uh, like nigga, I might not even survive.
- 1:16:35SPEAKER_00: Like, he's a predator.
- 1:16:36SPEAKER_00: That guy's a predator.
- 1:16:37SPEAKER_01: And you see a lot of niggas like that, they think they playing like the game.
- 1:16:40SPEAKER_01: Like they play it.
- 1:16:41SPEAKER_01: Nah, you know what I'm doing.
- 1:16:42SPEAKER_01: I'm fucking putting babies on the game.
- 1:16:43SPEAKER_00: That's that's that's one thing I don't like about niggas that so I'm trying to think of a way for me to say this without offending my political connects.
- 1:17:00SPEAKER_02: Alright, so in a previous life, right?
- 1:17:02SPEAKER_00: Okay, now I don't even want to talk about myself.
- 1:17:04SPEAKER_00: A nigga that fuck a lot of girls, right?
- 1:17:06SPEAKER_00: Off of just being himself, that's one thing.
- 1:17:09SPEAKER_00: But a nigga that's using a superpower, which would be like I'm using money to control the situation, or like a living situation to control this girl to make me her want to do X, Y, and Z, that's basically coercement.
- 1:17:21SPEAKER_00: I don't think that's player.
- 1:17:23SPEAKER_01: No, it's not.
- 1:17:23SPEAKER_01: It's a fine line.
- 1:17:24SPEAKER_01: I get what you're saying.
- 1:17:24SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, it's not an exact sign.
- 1:17:26SPEAKER_01: Like it's a I think most things are case by case.
- 1:17:28SPEAKER_01: Like when I when I call it a superpower, okay, let's say I had a mansion, yeah, right, and that's my superpower.
- 1:17:33SPEAKER_01: Like, oh, niggas know oh AG, that's the spot.
- 1:17:35SPEAKER_01: What I would do is I would make it the most hospitable place.
- 1:17:40SPEAKER_01: Like, niggas could like I can invite girls here, my man can invite girls here, you can invite your homegirls here.
- 1:17:45SPEAKER_01: And if I just happen to get some pussy because of that, like that's but if I'm trapping a girl here, like, yo, don't I got this mansion?
- 1:17:52SPEAKER_01: I'm making I'm doing everything to make like her life dependent on mine, that's not player shit.
- 1:17:56SPEAKER_01: That's that's predator shit.
- 1:17:57SPEAKER_01: It's another P word.
- 1:17:58SPEAKER_01: There's there's a lot of things that niggas do that's I feel is yeah, predator shit that they're masking as, oh, this is cool fly shit.
- 1:18:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like the problem with niggas, like not to even cut you off again, is like simp niggas don't want to have like conversations like with real men.
- 1:18:13SPEAKER_01: Like when real men come in the room and we tell other niggas like you shouldn't be doing that, it's hate.
- 1:18:18SPEAKER_01: It's like you on my dick.
- 1:18:19SPEAKER_01: It's like the niggas that don't take care of the kids.
- 1:18:21SPEAKER_01: They can be calling me dick police for yeah, no, but you be wilding sometimes, though.
- 1:18:23SPEAKER_01: Let niggas if niggas want to fat fuck fat bitch, like fuck fat.
- 1:18:27SPEAKER_00: All right, I don't get that, but as you're right.
- 1:18:29SPEAKER_00: But all right, but it's okay, the way I'm pol okay, we get back topics.
- 1:18:34SPEAKER_00: But the way I'm policing, it's like you get a ticket for Jaywalking, that's policing.
- 1:18:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but that's not a serious offense.
- 1:18:39SPEAKER_00: No, but doing something else, you get arrested for it.
- 1:18:41SPEAKER_00: That's a serious offense.
- 1:18:42SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna put it.
- 1:18:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:18:44SPEAKER_01: You know, we just we just joshing.
- 1:18:46SPEAKER_01: But yeah, like I I understand exactly what you're saying.
- 1:18:48SPEAKER_01: A lot of people mask, oh yeah, I'll be I'll fuck a lot of hoes, but then when you really look into it, it's because you manipulated this woman.
- 1:18:54SPEAKER_00: That's fucking.
- 1:18:55SPEAKER_00: That's that's the thing, like, especially when I was younger.
- 1:18:57SPEAKER_00: That was a thing that I feel like most young niggas go through where they'll lie to a girl and be like, oh yeah, you my girlfriend, and blah blah blah, just try to get some pussy and then never talk to the girl.
- 1:19:05SPEAKER_01: Oh no, that's the wackish shit in the world.
- 1:19:06SPEAKER_01: That's not playing shit.
- 1:19:07SPEAKER_00: I would never ever in my life like that.
- 1:19:10SPEAKER_01: You see, now imagine you're a woman now, and that happens to you 10 times in a row.
- 1:19:13SPEAKER_01: And like you need some guidance.
- 1:19:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:19:16SPEAKER_01: And I think those women, like you're saying, like the the the bad baby girl, they spiral and they end up with niggas that yeah.
- 1:19:21SPEAKER_01: So I think most women, unless they had a tree.
- 1:19:25SPEAKER_01: For me, that's for me, though.
- 1:19:26SPEAKER_01: There's another nigga.
- 1:19:27SPEAKER_01: J.
- 1:19:27SPEAKER_01: Cole had this very good saying don't save her, she don't want to be saved.
- 1:19:31SPEAKER_01: But the context of that bar is the part that she don't want to be saved.
- 1:19:35SPEAKER_01: There's some women out here that's crying for help.
- 1:19:36SPEAKER_01: Like for me, Black China was crying for help for years.
- 1:19:39SPEAKER_01: That's how I looked at her.
- 1:19:40SPEAKER_01: And I was like, and look at her now.
- 1:19:42SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:19:43SPEAKER_00: Um, that's fair, but a lot of things, so a lot of things come with maturity in time, right?
- 1:19:50SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 1:19:51SPEAKER_00: But things that one thing that goes hand in hand with maturity is intelligence.
- 1:19:54SPEAKER_00: Because you're learning through your experience over time.
- 1:19:56SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:19:57SPEAKER_00: And me, I'm not a fan of stupid people.
- 1:19:59SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:19:59SPEAKER_00: Like you see, I get into arguments with niggas I feel like is stupid all the time.
- 1:20:03SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:20:03SPEAKER_00: So if I'm in, if I'm, if I was to converse with a woman, right?
- 1:20:08SPEAKER_00: And I feel like she's a dumb bitch, she's just gonna be a dumb bitch.
- 1:20:12SPEAKER_00: And I'm not gonna wait for you to become intelligent in 10 years or five years or even one year.
- 1:20:18SPEAKER_00: You're gonna be in, if I had a category for A is woman, I would cuff, B woman, I would fuck, C woman, I might fuck, but we're not stepping outside together.
- 1:20:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:20:26SPEAKER_00: You will never leave the category you're in if you're a stupid bitch.
- 1:20:29SPEAKER_01: Gotcha.
- 1:20:29SPEAKER_00: No matter how good you look.
- 1:20:30SPEAKER_01: And big bro, that's that's your comp.
- 1:20:33SPEAKER_01: Well, for me, uh, and back in my day, because I have a girlfriend, salvation.
- 1:20:40SPEAKER_01: I was I was salvation.
- 1:20:42SPEAKER_01: That was I I kind of like that.
- 1:20:43SPEAKER_01: Well, looking at a girl like she just needs somebody to put her in the right direction, she'd be alright.
- 1:20:47SPEAKER_01: And then you pat her on the butt, send her on her way, and she'd she'd be better off in life.
- 1:20:52SPEAKER_01: And then she'll come back, and she that's twin.
- 1:20:55SPEAKER_01: She pee.
- 1:20:56SPEAKER_00: So what if okay, so if you try to help a girl, right?
- 1:21:00SPEAKER_01: Yes, it don't work all the time, obviously.
- 1:21:02SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no.
- 1:21:02SPEAKER_00: Well, I'm gonna say you do help.
- 1:21:04SPEAKER_00: Like the your your work, you finish your work.
- 1:21:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:21:07SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:21:08SPEAKER_00: But now she wants to attach herself to you.
- 1:21:10SPEAKER_01: That's where the problem's coming.
- 1:21:11SPEAKER_01: And that's where me and my girl be having these discussions, because she's like, you can't control how these bitches feel.
- 1:21:16SPEAKER_01: And she's right.
- 1:21:17SPEAKER_01: And that's also my counter-argument to her all the time.
- 1:21:19SPEAKER_01: It's like when I was dealing with these things.
- 1:21:21SPEAKER_01: Was yeah, I can't, that's that's her problem.
- 1:21:24SPEAKER_01: Like I can't, I can't.
- 1:21:25SPEAKER_01: Nah.
- 1:21:26SPEAKER_01: I already let her know from the beginning what it was.
- 1:21:29SPEAKER_01: And that's that used to be my game.
- 1:21:31SPEAKER_01: And you know?
- 1:21:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but when you say, all right, you have a girl.
- 1:21:40SPEAKER_02: Today, yeah.
- 1:21:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:21:42SPEAKER_00: No, no, what I'm saying, I'm just paying a scenario.
- 1:21:45SPEAKER_00: You have a girl.
- 1:21:45SPEAKER_01: Yes, sir.
- 1:21:46SPEAKER_00: You have three girls in your life that you've had you fixed.
- 1:21:50SPEAKER_00: Uh, fixed, yes.
- 1:21:51SPEAKER_00: But they want to come back and cause problems with your relationship.
- 1:21:53SPEAKER_01: Oh, no, they can't.
- 1:21:54SPEAKER_01: They gotta cut them out respectfully.
- 1:21:58SPEAKER_00: But you don't have control over how they feel and what they're gonna do with their emotions either.
- 1:22:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, absolutely.
- 1:22:02SPEAKER_01: But I'm so pee.
- 1:22:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm uh I'm a OD.
- 1:22:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and that's it.
- 1:22:10SPEAKER_01: You gotta kind of like separate church and state.
- 1:22:12SPEAKER_01: And it don't work all the time.
- 1:22:13SPEAKER_01: Listen, I have uh hundreds of stories about this shit crashing and burning in my face.
- 1:22:17SPEAKER_01: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:22:18SPEAKER_01: That's what it's a dangerous game to play.
- 1:22:20SPEAKER_00: I don't feel like it's worth it at the end of the day.
- 1:22:22SPEAKER_00: No, for some niggas it ain't, okay.
- 1:22:24SPEAKER_01: But some niggas just, hey, nigga, I got off the port.
- 1:22:29SPEAKER_01: Once you get that first jump shot, you hear that sound, you know.
- 1:22:32SPEAKER_00: Oh, you got that, you got the you want to chase that fit.
- 1:22:35SPEAKER_01: What the fuck?
- 1:22:35SPEAKER_01: That's what it sounds like, yeah, man.
- 1:22:37SPEAKER_01: That's you know, like, and for me, now at this point in my life, I'm a teacher.
- 1:22:42SPEAKER_01: So I have a son, and I'm gonna set him up.
- 1:22:44SPEAKER_01: And my girl actually told me a very interesting thing.
- 1:22:46SPEAKER_01: She was like, I think if you had a daughter, you she would be the coldest thing ever.
- 1:22:51SPEAKER_01: Because you know the game so well.
- 1:22:53SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, yeah, that's true, but I don't want that responsibility.
- 1:22:56SPEAKER_01: Because what if I fail?
- 1:22:58SPEAKER_01: And she glows green now.
- 1:23:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:23:01SPEAKER_01: That's my fault.
- 1:23:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's the problem with girls.
- 1:23:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, having a I don't know what's but this is I think I don't know if we've had this conversation before, but having a son really is more scary than having a daughter.
- 1:23:17SPEAKER_01: Nah, it is though.
- 1:23:18SPEAKER_00: It is, but I'm I think I'm more equipped though.
- 1:23:20SPEAKER_00: That's the difference.
- 1:23:21SPEAKER_00: Cause it because I well, everybody's I feel like having a daughter that's like come that glows green, you can still have a happy life with that.
- 1:23:30SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 1:23:31SPEAKER_00: If you have a daughter, if you have a son that ends up being your daughter and she stab a nigga in a USB engine club, it's not gonna be yo.
