  Speaker 1: I know that in my own life, my morning time

  Speaker 1: with the Lord is the greatest key to my Christian life.

  Speaker 1: Because my walk with the Lord depends on my love

  Speaker 1: for the Lord and my faith in Him.

  Speaker 1: And both of those things are built through time spent
• 0:37
  Speaker 1: in God's word listening to Him as I see the

  Speaker 1: magnitude of who He is, the incredible strength that he possesses,

  Speaker 1: his ability to do whatever he chooses, and the fact
• 0:55
  Speaker 1: that his choice follows his character and his character is
• 0:59
  Speaker 1: always good.

  Speaker 1: He is full of love. He is faithful to those
• 1:04
  Speaker 1: who trust in Him. As I see all of that,
• 1:08
  Speaker 1: my faith increases, and as I interact with God, my
• 1:11
  Speaker 1: love for Him increases. And so I hope you learn
• 1:16
  Speaker 1: to make your time with God each morning the foundation
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: of your life.

  Speaker 1: We want to look this week at the theme of
• 1:25
  Speaker 1: when God gets our attention.
• 1:28
  Speaker 1: And I just want to read Proverbs 35 and 6,
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: some verses we've read in the past on a different theme.

  Speaker 1: Proverbs says, Trust in the Lord with all your heart.
• 1:44
  Speaker 1: And do not lean on your own understanding.
• 1:47
  Speaker 1: In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make
• 1:53
  Speaker 1: your paths straight.
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: He will make the direction you need to take obvious
• 2:00
  Speaker 1: to you.
• 2:02
  Speaker 1: Well,
• 2:03
  Speaker 1: You know, a person can be walking with the Lord
• 2:07
  Speaker 1: and trying to live God's way and pursue God's plan
• 2:11
  Speaker 1: for their lives.
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: But they can become distracted by the events around them,
• 2:17
  Speaker 1: the circumstances they find themselves in, or, uh, they can just, uh,
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: lose their focus or their sensitivity to the things of God,
• 2:27
  Speaker 1: and they can miss God's prompting and end up making
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: decisions that are wrong and heading in the wrong direction
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: in their lives.
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: But if they're honest and they look back, usually they
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: can see that there was a nudge from God that
• 2:43
  Speaker 1: they missed.

  Speaker 1: Here's the promise from God. Trust in the Lord.

  Speaker 1: With all your heart.
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: And do not lean on your own understanding.

  Speaker 1: In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make

  Speaker 1: your paths straight. You may not always have a clear

  Speaker 1: sense and knowledge of exactly what it is God wants
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: you to do, but there will be the assurance in
• 3:09
  Speaker 1: your heart that you are in God's will, and you
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: will find God's plan and purpose for you unfolding in
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: your life.

  Speaker 1: Well, in all your ways acknowledge him.
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: Have you learned to do that?
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: To look for God's hand in every single circumstance in
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: your life when things are tough, when things are good,
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: to acknowledge God that He is good, that He is there,
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: that He loves you, that He's involved in your life
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: even when life is tough, trusting Him, that He is
• 3:48
  Speaker 1: working out His plan for you and that His plan
• 3:51
  Speaker 1: is good and loving.
