- 0:09You're listening to the Hidden Lightness on America Out Loud Talk Radio.
- 0:13I'm your host, Jimmy Hinton.
- 0:15Well, what will it take to end the war in Iran?
- 0:18It's a really valid question.
- 0:20And I think this war definitely is on the minds of many, many Americans, if not the majority of Americans.
- 0:28It's now entering into the third week.
- 0:31And there's not really an end in sight.
- 0:35In fact, President Trump was asked, when do you think the war is going to end, or what will it take?
- 0:40And he uh pretty much skirted that issue.
- 0:44And he said, well, uh, let's just put it this way the war is not done yet.
- 0:49Even though we've uh we've basically crippled Iran, it's done when I say it's done.
- 0:58And I guess the question for us is um what do we think about it?
- 1:03Uh I mean, we have the right to have an opinion, and here at America Out Loud, uh, we really celebrate the we celebrate truth and we celebrate freedom to be able to express ourselves and to talk about what's on our hearts and what's on our minds.
- 1:21And I I read a very recent article by uh one of our own by Pastor Jeff Crippen, which was excellent.
- 1:29Uh you can find it on the uh the America Outloud.news uh site.
- 1:35It's it's one of the top stories.
- 1:38And his article is when evil goes unchallenged, and it was really thought provoking, and he's coming from the perspective of uh, you know, scripturally, what does the Bible say whenever whenever we let evil go unchecked?
- 1:55And I'll just read his first paragraph here.
- 1:57I think it's excellent.
- 1:58This whole article is excellent.
- 2:00You know, it's only a five minute read, and it's well worth your time.
- 2:04He said one of the greatest and most dangerous delusions we can fall prey to is that there's something in this world which is pure evil.
- 2:14You know, and he's right.
- 2:15We can't deny that there's evil in the world.
- 2:19Evil, which has no alloy of goodness in it whatsoever.
- 2:23When a person refuses to admit this truth, they are destined to be its prey, wasting their time trying to negotiate with it while behind the scenes the darkness is plotting our destruction.
- 2:36We see this very thing, and I hope this is obvious to you in the current dealings with the Iranian regime.
- 2:45And he's absolutely right.
- 2:47You know, if if we take a naive approach, um evil people aren't like, oh, well, gee golly day, you know, they're kind people, so we're gonna return in kind.
- 3:01We're gonna be kind to them.
- 3:03This is not how evil people think.
- 3:07You know, I spent the better of it a decade and a half studying, researching to the point where it was an unhealthy obsession, researching how evil people think, and and particularly child sexual predators, and that's because it was very personal to me.
- 3:30Evil struck within my own home at the hands of my own father, who's now serving life sentence in prison.
- 3:42I had no clue, not one clue how he was able to do what he did, and to so many victims to produce many, many victims.
- 3:52We think into the hundreds, literally.
- 3:56He did that for his entire adult life for more than four decades, was producing victims over and over and over again with some of the most vile crimes known to humanity.
- 4:16I mean, I've I've read I've read some of his reports.
- 4:22It's nauseating, it's disgusting, it's it's sickening, it's warped.
- 4:29And I'm still trying to process that the man who raised me, the man who stood in the pulpit where I preach.
- 4:40He preached for 27 years.
- 4:43I admired him.
- 4:44He was he was a mentor of mine, or at least that's how I viewed him.
- 4:49I went into ministry because of him.
- 4:51You know, and and and I look back at that, and I'm like, how did we miss it?
- 5:02And there was literally nothing, and I mean nothing, nothing except for two things that would stop him.
- 5:12Death or prison.
- 5:16And he's admitted it.
- 5:18He's as he's admitted as much and said, I never, never was gonna stop.
- 5:27You know, you have to understand how evil people think, how evil works.
- 5:32And this isn't people struggling.
- 5:34I I want to separate this because many Christians can't do this.
- 5:38They can't separate people who struggle with sin from people who are evil.
- 5:44And so they just lump them all together and they see things like uh, well, we're all sinners.
- 5:50Let me tell you, the Bible makes a very clear distinction, and and Pastor Jeff Crippen is a hundred percent right.
- 5:59There is a distinction between pure evil, he calls it pure evil.
- 6:07Pure evil.
- 6:10It's kind of a play on words with with the word pure.
- 6:14There is nothing pure about evil, and so it's a play on words.
- 6:21You know, it is absolutely it's it's so evil, it's so twisted, it's so messed up.
- 6:28And the Bible has a lot to say about that.
- 6:30And I want to read some of those scriptures because way too many good Christian people get bamboozled into this idea that we just need to be pacifist.
- 6:41I I've read I've read posts by Christians who I admire, and you know, um again, I'm not pointing fingers.
- 6:49They they absolutely 100% have every single right to express their opinion just the same as I do or anybody else does.
- 6:58And so I'm not trying to change our minds.
- 7:01I'm not, you know, I'm I'm not condemning them for the way that they think.
- 7:07But I do want to draw a contrast.
- 7:10And I want to show that their view is this pacifist view, it's this idea that grace will grace and love will just change people's hearts.
- 7:26And if we just love them more, then the evil will subside, or even even go away.
- 7:34That we can conquer evil by being a pacifist, by just loving people, love them to pieces until they they stop doing evil.
- 7:46And let me tell you, this is my view, it doesn't work that way.
- 7:54I don't think anybody could have hugged Adolf Hitler into being a peaceful man.
- 8:00He was twisted, he was messed up, he was mentally deranged.
- 8:05There was something fundamentally wrong with his heart, with his brain, he was messed up.
- 8:15He was pure evil to execute millions of Jews.
- 8:24If you've ever seen the pictures, if you have ever gone to a Holocaust museum, it is absolutely beyond nauseating.
- 8:33I mean, it's it's it's emotional, it's it's dark, it's uh man, you leave there with just so many emotions, anger, uh, sadness, rage.
- 8:46Um, deep deep sorrow.
- 8:51You know, just so many different different emotions.
- 8:56And uh, and I talked about this one time before.
- 8:59I went to I went to Germany and Switzerland on a on a campaign with college, and we got to visit uh one of the biggest concentration camps that that Hitler had.
- 9:13It was in France, and I can't remember the name of it.
- 9:16It's still um it's still uh left exactly as it was right after the war ended.
- 9:28And when you go there, it I mean, it is absolutely just heartbreaking.
- 9:33We did a self guided tour, and they give you a piece of paper with uh with history, and they have the different stations labeled, and as you get to each station throughout the concentration camp, uh you you read about what that was, uh what they did, you know, from the the watchtowers, uh, where uh soldiers would stand in the wash.
- 10:00Watchtowers and would literally just just for game.
- 10:04They would just start shooting random people, innocent people.
- 10:11Just for fun.
- 10:12For literally no other reason than to entertain themselves.
- 10:18And I mean, I'm telling you, the more you learn, the more you get enraged, and you're like, uh like you start to get a picture of what evil actually is.
- 10:30These people were not going to be hugged back into kindness.
- 10:39But I guess the other question we could ask is what would it take to end World War II.
- 10:45You know, what did it take to stop Adolf Hitler?
- 10:49And this is one thing that it's just it's such a soapbox of mine.
- 10:54It's it's something that just really, really irritates me.
- 10:58And that's that we uh, you know, people on the left like to refer to President Trump as Hitler.
- 11:07And Trump followers, they're Hitler.
- 11:11Folks, I assure you, uh, we are so detached from history.
- 11:15People who who think that way.
- 11:18It's not a cute little slang term.
- 11:23You know, and the sad thing is I think they mean it.
- 11:27I think they legitimately think that President Trump is Hitler.
- 11:34Uh, it's it's not it's not funny, it's not cute.
- 11:39It's not uh it's it's not cool.
- 11:44And I'm not saying he's a great man.
- 11:46That's I I am not defending our president here, believe me.
- 11:51I've talked repeatedly about this.
- 11:53He is not a moral example.
- 11:56I'm not somebody who would take my kids to uh you know, point them in President Trump's direction and say, I want you to emulate everything that this man is in your Christian walk.
- 12:07Um, I just he is not somebody who I would uh let in a million years be an example to my kids as a moral Christian example.
- 12:19So I'm not defending President Trump here.
- 12:23I'm not idolizing him, not in the least.
- 12:27But we have to be real, we have to be honest.
- 12:32And we have to understand what evil is, and there's a difference.
- 12:36There's a difference between uh irrational, uh shoot from the hip.
- 12:46Kind of mentality.
- 12:48Uh, just kind of uh thoughts all over the place.
- 12:53President Trump is is not known to uh be able to contain his tongue.
- 12:59Look at a lot of the posts that he puts out there, and he's deleted post because you know it's bad when when he thinks he went too far, and he's just he doesn't think before he opens his mouth.
- 13:12He has diarrhea of the mouth constantly.
- 13:16He just doesn't know when to shut up.
- 13:20But that doesn't make him evil.
- 13:24And what Pastor Crippin is talking about when he talks about pure evil.
- 13:31It's people who wish death on other people.
- 13:33It's people who uh people who wish harm on other people, they inflict harm under people, uh they inflict harm on people for pure sport, they do it because they think it's funny, they do it because it's gonna gain them something, or they do it because fundamentally they believe that it's not evil, and that they're justified in doing so.
- 14:04And we find this with the regime in Iran.
- 14:06They don't even think twice about lining people up, literally and hitting them with a firing squad.
- 14:16They don't think twice about raping and beating women and children.
- 14:21They don't think twice about it.
- 14:23To them, it's not that's not evil.
- 14:26And they mock, they make fun, they they laugh about it, they think it's funny.
- 14:31That's how you know it's evil.
- 14:33That's the difference between people who struggle with sin.
- 14:38Right?
- 14:38People who struggle with sin, the very fact that we're using the word struggle, it means that they have a conscience.
- 14:44It means that they wrestle with the things that they do or don't do, they wrestle with that, and it bothers them.
- 14:51They lose sleep over it.
- 14:53I can assure you that people in the regime in Iran, the Ayatollah do not lose sleep.
- 15:05If you think for a second that it bothers them, think again.
- 15:11You know, you have to understand how pure evil people think.
- 15:14And so for me, the question wasn't why did my father do what he did.
- 15:20Because I I don't know, I can't ever fully comprehend how somebody gets to that point and why they think the way that they think.
- 15:30I was less interested in why, and I was more interested in how.
- 15:36How did he get how did he do it?
- 15:37How did he get away with it?
- 15:39And the reason I was obsessed with that question was because I wanted to know how to recognize evil and to stop it.
- 15:49Everything that I've ever seen on uh abuse prevention, it's all like you know, the silly red flag, like, oh, they're handing candy out to kids, like all this stuff that doesn't work.
- 16:02And I was like, I I'm not interested in that.
- 16:05I'm not interested in reporting after a crime has already taken place.
- 16:09I want to truly prevent, I want to understand how people think, how they get away with with their crimes, how they operate, you know, and basically it's it's gathering intel.
- 16:23And when I see our president, he is very good at that.
- 16:27He's exceptionally good at understanding how the enemy thinks.
- 16:36And that gives me some form of comfort.
- 16:41He knows exactly what Iran was capable of.
- 16:44And he said, we have to disarm their capabilities.
- 16:54We've seen this in history before.

- 19:43That is X-L-E-A-R.com.
- 19:50What will it take to end the war?
- 19:52That's a valid question.
- 19:54And a lot of people, I know a lot of people are very opposed to the war.
- 19:58They think that it was it was dumb.
- 20:00Should just sit on our hands and hope and pray that Iran doesn't do anything out of sorts.
- 20:06And people are pointing to the fact that President Trump, and I do think he was mistaken in announcing victory so soon.
- 20:14Whenever we did the uh the bunker busters last year, you know, we swooped in and we bombed a nuclear enrichment site, and President Trump right away, he he declared victory.
- 20:29Well, we you know, we crippled them, we keep we crippled their capabilities of ever having an atomic bomb, and then months later, he comes back, and all of a sudden we're bombing Iran again, and his reasoning was well, they were right on the cusp of building nuclear bombs.
- 20:51Well, wait a second, you know, and it's a valid criticism from people.
- 20:55I thought that we dismantled their capabilities.
- 20:59I mean, that's what you've been telling the whole world.
- 21:02He's been pronouncing victory, and now all of a sudden he's like, well, they were they were very, very close to having an atomic bomb.
- 21:13And they will use it.
- 21:15You know, make no mistake, Iran is very different from a lot of other countries on planet Earth.
- 21:21They are pure evil.
- 21:26They would love nothing more than to drop a nuke on the United States of America.
- 21:33That's just that that's that's who they are.
- 21:38And so the criticism is well, wait a second, you declared victory, and now all of a sudden we're at war, and you also said that you're a president of no wars.
- 21:47And I've you know, I've I've listened to so many different things, and of course, so much information is classified, and you know, I'm I'm not like licking my chops trying to get a hold of classified information.
- 22:01I just uh it's way beyond beyond my uh pay grade.
- 22:07But I've heard the reasonable voice from the Democratic Party.
- 22:13I've listened to Senator Fetterman, and Senator Fetterman said, I've been at every single briefing, and there was no other option.
- 22:25This was the right thing to do.
- 22:28We had to cripple Iran's capabilities based on the intel that we received.
- 22:36And uh, you know, for whatever reason, we probably have to trust the intel that people received.
- 22:45And what we know now that we didn't know, at least I didn't know before, is that they have Iran has nuclear enrichment sites like deep deep or storage deep deep under these granite big granite mountains that are bunker busters cannot penetrate.
- 23:09And so this leaves the big question uh how do we how do we get that?
- 23:14Because they will use that for harm.
- 23:16They absolutely 100% will.
- 23:20This is how evil people think.
- 23:22I want to read one more sentence or uh one more paragraph here from Pastor Jeff Crippen.
- 23:28This is on America Out Loud.news.
- 23:32It's an excellent, excellent article.
- 23:34The title of the article again is when evil goes unchallenged.
- 23:39You know, what happens when we don't challenge pure evil?
- 23:45So here's this this next paragraph, and uh it's just so spot on.
- 23:49He said, those people among us who insist, as the Pope recently did, that reason can prevail, that everyone fundamentally wants peace, and that the bad guys are the ones who conclude that the devil cannot be convinced to lay down his arms.
- 24:08These kinds of people are the danger within.
- 24:10They are delusional, they cling to the delusion that man is fundamentally good, that all religions are good, and they do this in spite of the plain testimony of history.
- 24:26Now he's absolutely right.
- 24:30He goes on, I gotta read this next um sentence or two.
- 24:33The reason because it's just what I was talking about.
- 24:35The reason President Trump and our military leaders decided to take up arms against the Iranian regime is because they understand the nature of this enemy.
- 24:45That it's exactly what I was just saying.
- 24:47President Trump understands how evil people work, how they think, how they operate.
- 24:54He understands our playbook.
- 24:58He is very strategic.
- 25:01And you look at the order in which he's he's doing things, you know, beginning with renaming the the Gulf of Mexico is the very first thing he did.
- 25:10I mean, literally on day one, renamed the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America.
- 25:17All right, why why did he do that?
- 25:19To mock people on the left?
- 25:21No.
- 25:24He did that to get to open up the the ability to be able to drill baby drill and start getting oil that the the American people can start to reserve to be energy independent.
- 25:44You know, uh very, very, very smart move.
- 25:50All right, then what happened next?
- 25:52Venezuela.
- 25:54He captured Maduro and uh, you know, really honestly at the same time put Cuba on notice and seized the oil coming out of Venezuela that was illegal, it was sanctioned oil that China was buying on the cheap.
- 26:15Now that was the next domino, cut off the Venezuelan oil that China really depends on.
- 26:26All right, then we have um, I guess before Iran, or maybe during the the war at Iran, President Trump announces that we have an oil refinery company that's that's moving to Texas.
- 26:42It's the first time in 50 years that we've built a refinery on American soil.
- 26:49It's huge, massive, massive refinery.
- 26:54Well, what's the president up to?
- 26:57Yeah, he's very clearly making us energy independent.
- 27:06All right, then the war on Iran.
- 27:11Yeah, he starts crippling them, and then he cuts off their oil supply to China right before, and he he timed it, and I think it's very intentional.
- 27:23I don't think it's coincidence, he timed it right before his visit to China.
- 27:30He has all the leverage in the world to negotiate with China, and China is, I mean, they're pure evil.
- 27:39And Trump would much rather negotiate with a country like China than to have to uh go to war.
- 27:47We do not want to go to war with China, trust me on this.
- 27:52Even though I think we're very, very, very capable, uh, I don't think it would be the same outcome as as Iran.
- 28:02Certainly wouldn't be as swift.
- 28:04So we have to understand how evil people work, because if we take this pacifist approach, you know, if we assume, like Jeff Crippen says, if if we just assume that everybody's good, everybody has a good heart.
- 28:20And they insist that they insist that uh, like the Pope did, that reason can prevail, that we can just talk to people.
- 28:30We can we can sit at the negotiating table and we can shake hands, and at the end of the day, we can agree to disagree, and and and we can come to terms, and uh the world will be a peaceful place.
- 28:45Let me repeat Pastor Jeff Crippen, they are delusional.
- 28:51If you think that reason can prevail, now I say this all the time, and I I want to clarify this.
- 28:58I say all the time that the vast majority of people on planet Earth are good people.
- 29:03I truly believe that.
- 29:04I do.
- 29:07I think that the majority of people are good people.
- 29:10Uh doesn't mean that they don't mess up, that they don't commit crimes, things like that.
- 29:14But I I don't think that the majority of people are evil.
- 29:18However, we cannot deny that there are really wicked people out there.
- 29:25It only took one Adolf Hitler to convince an entire nation to slaughter millions of innocent Jews.
- 29:37You know, Joseph Stalin.
- 29:40It only took one evil person.
- 29:44Look at Iran.
- 29:47You know, it takes one evil leader to start convincing other people or coercing other people into into evil.
- 29:57And for 47 years.
- 30:00The good people of Iran have been under an oppressive regime.
- 30:04They're absolutely horrible excuses for human beings.
- 30:08They're terrible.
- 30:11And you can not reason with them.
- 30:14Look at Iran right now.
- 30:15Do you think they're backing down?
- 30:17Not for a second.
- 30:19They're not gonna back down.
- 30:21And Trump knows this.
- 30:23That's why Trump said, I'm not interested in negotiating.
- 30:28Nope.
- 30:29You uh you cease.
- 30:33You stand down, you cease and desist.
- 30:36That's when the war ends.
- 30:38We're gonna cut you to your knees.
- 30:41He knows that there is no negotiating with pure evil.
- 30:44You can't do it.
- 30:45You're insane.
- 30:46You're delusional.
- 30:49If you think you can negotiate with people like the Ayatollah, you're you're delusional.
- 30:54All right, it's not gonna happen.
- 30:56So here's what Peter says about this.
- 30:59This is in 2 Peter chapter 2, and I absolutely love what he says.
- 31:04He says, For God did not spare the angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment.
- 31:16If he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness with seven others when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly.
- 31:28If by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes, he condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly.
- 31:42Now, I want to I want to say this because a lot of people are like, oh, see, God is an evil God.
- 31:47If you don't believe in him, he just zaps you dead.
- 31:52This is not what he's talking about when Peter says ungodly, he's not talking about people who merely don't believe in God.
- 31:58That's this is not the case.
- 32:00He's talking about wickedness that is so evil, it's so pure evil that the hearts of the people would never turn.
- 32:15You know, read some of the stories in the Old Testament.
- 32:18Read some of the stories of what the people in Sodom and Gomorrah were doing.
- 32:22You know, people are like, oh, you know, God, God wiped them out because they were there was homosexuality.
- 32:29That's not why he wiped out Sodom and Gomorrah.
- 32:33Read the stories.
- 32:37Read about the Levites' concubine, read that story in the scriptures.
- 32:42It's gruesome.
- 32:44Absolutely utterly gruesome.
- 32:48And then you'll start to get a picture of who the people were that God was dealing with.
- 32:53They were pure evil.
- 32:57You cannot negotiate with them.
- 32:59All right, Peter goes on.
- 33:01He says, and if he rescued righteous lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked.
- 33:08For as that righteous man lived among them day after day, he was tormenting his righteous soul over their lawless deeds that he saw and heard.
- 33:18It tormented Lot.
- 33:19Lot couldn't stand to see the things that he was witnessing.
- 33:22It was uh it was trauma.
- 33:25It was very traumatic.
- 33:28You know, this isn't just people cursing and you know uh doing things that are quote unquote sinful.
- 33:37This was pure evil, the kind of stuff that we're seeing under the Iranian regime, that kind of oppression, that kind of evil.
- 33:47All right, Peter goes on.
- 33:48Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment, and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority.
- 34:04Bold and willful, they do not tremble as they blaspheme the glorious ones.
- 34:11All right, think about the Ayatollah.
- 34:16They're bold and willful, they despise authority.
- 34:19They're literally bombing their neighbors, they're shooting missiles into every single neighboring nation.
- 34:30Like you can't tell me that that's not bold and willful.
- 34:35All right, Peter goes on.
- 34:36Whereas angels, though greater in might and power, do not pronounce a blasphemous judgment against them before the Lord, but these talking about the evil people, like irrational animals, creatures of instinct, born to be caught and destroyed, blaspheming about matters which they are ignorant, will also be destroyed in their destruction, suffering wrong as the wage for their wrongdoing.
- 35:02What a clear picture of what's going on in Iran right now.
- 35:05I mean, if ever there's a clear picture, this is it.
- 35:10Listen to the next sentence.
- 35:11This is chilling.
- 35:13They count it pleasure to revel in the daytime.
- 35:19They count it pleasure to revel in the daytime.
- 35:24They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions while they feast with you.
- 35:32Did you ever hear?
- 35:33Did you hear audio clips of the um you know the statespe from Iran?
- 35:41They're like, oh, we we just wanted to negotiate.
- 35:44We were minding our own business, and like they're so full of it.
- 35:50They revel in the daytime while they feast with you.
- 35:54There have been so many fake negotiations with Iran, and quite frankly, our president, President Trump lost patience.
- 36:04He understands how evil people think.
- 36:09They count it pleasure to revel in the daytime.
- 36:12They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions while they feast with you.
- 36:18They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin.
- 36:22They entice unsteady souls.
- 36:25They have hearts trained in greed, accursed children.
- 36:32They love gain from wrongdoing.
- 36:35Um, listen to how he describes them.
- 36:37These are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm.
- 36:42For them, the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved.
- 36:48All right, he he goes on on and on and on.
- 36:51Like he's not done.
- 36:52He keeps going on for sentence after sentence after sentence.
- 36:57Listen to this.
- 36:58For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than to, after knowing it turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
- 37:07What the proverb says has happened to them.
- 37:09The dog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.
- 37:17Blots and blemishes, pure evil.
- 37:22That's who we're dealing with in Iran.
- 37:24You can not negotiate with them.
- 37:27It's impossible.
- 37:28It's literally impossible.

- 39:08What will it take to end the war?
- 39:10How do we approach evil?
- 39:12As Christians, what do we believe about evil?
- 39:15Can we be pacifist?
- 39:16Can we negotiate?
- 39:17Should we have negotiated with Iran?
- 39:20These are all questions that uh I think good Americans have.
- 39:24And if we're really rational about this and uh try to understand it and try is the key word.
- 39:30You try to understand the full grasp of evil and what evil people are capable of.
- 39:36You begin to realize there's a reason why the Iranian people are celebrating America right now.
- 39:43There's a reason why 99.9% of Iranians living in the diaspora.
- 39:51People who are spread all over because of persecution.
- 39:55They're celebrating President Trump.
- 39:57They're thanking President Trump.
- 39:59They're thanking.
- 40:00America.
- 40:03They're still praising us in the streets.
- 40:06There's a reason for that.
- 40:08They've lived under the thumb of evil for 47 years.
- 40:15You know, the church is very persecuted in Iran.
- 40:21I mean, very persecuted.
- 40:24Very interesting fact.
- 40:26The church is growing faster in Iran than out of anywhere in the world.
- 40:34And it's all underground.
- 40:36It's all hidden.
- 40:38The Christian church in Iran is 100% underground.
- 40:42They have to be.
- 40:54But many people are executed simply for professing Christ as their savior.
- 41:03You see, Americans, we don't understand that.
- 41:05We don't get that because a lot of people, oh, we've lost so many freedoms under Donald Hitler.
- 41:14No, we haven't.
- 41:18We really haven't.
- 41:21We are so incredibly blessed in this nation.
- 41:25The very fact that I'm speaking right now without fear of persecution or prosecution means that we live in a free nation.
- 41:37And for that, I am eternally grateful.
- 41:44Every day I kind of pinch myself, and I'm like, I can't believe we're so blessed here.
- 41:50The opportunity to make money, I talk about this all the time, to put your money to work, to invest your money, the market, there's a free market.
- 41:58It's literally as easy.
- 42:00And man, this is going to be my other soapbox.
- 42:04This breaks my heart.
- 42:05I talk about so often on the show because it's one of the things that breaks my heart the most.
- 42:10It's that we have such ample opportunity to do well, to eliminate debt, to be responsible with our money, to put our money to work, to uh invest in the stock market.
- 42:24And I just I mentioned this the other day, that there's a new study that came out, and when you take all the working Americans, age uh adult Americans age 21 to 64, the average among all of working Americans, the average among all working Americans age 21 to 64 that they have in retirement accounts comes to a grand total of 955.
- 42:53That is absolutely utterly heartbreaking to me.
- 43:00That we we complain and we're like, oh, we have it so hard here, and it's just so terrible, and uh we don't get paid enough, and what an awful country, and there's just no opportunity, and it's an absolute lie.
- 43:15It's just that we don't have we don't have discipline in this nation.
- 43:19If you don't believe me, look at the health crisis within this nation.
- 43:23We're not disciplined in the way we eat or diet or exercise or sleep or invest.
- 43:32We're just not a disciplined nation.
- 43:36And so we don't really have anybody to blame but ourselves.
- 43:41That doesn't make our nation evil.
- 43:43It doesn't make it bad, it doesn't make it terrible.
- 43:46Heck, it doesn't make the people terrible.
- 43:48I believe, I believe in America.
- 43:52I believe in Americans.
- 43:56I want to see Americans do well.
- 43:58I want to see people be wealthy.
- 43:59I want to see people be healthy.
- 44:01I want to see people do well and to be kind to their neighbors and to bless other people.
- 44:08And I believe fully believe that because we're a free nation that's not pure evil, we don't have a pure evil regime, that we have ample opportunity to be blessed.
- 44:26I believe it with all my heart.
- 44:27I'm I'm living proof of it.
- 44:31You know, I have a I have a daughter, a 15-year-old daughter who's starting her own business right now.
- 44:40She's in the process of starting her own business mostly on her own, and you wouldn't believe what she's been able to accomplish already.
- 44:50And she's partnering financially and otherwise with her younger brother, who's 12 years old.
- 45:00It's incredible.
- 45:01And like I just step back and support them and applaud them and cheer them on, and they're doing all the heavy lifting.
- 45:11It's incredible.
- 45:12It's inspiring.
- 45:13It's it's really cool.
- 45:14But you know, this is what happens when you believe in people.
- 45:19When you give people freedom, when you allow them to experiment and uh to play around with ideas, and right now in Iran, it's the polar opposite.
- 45:29Everything's controlled, everything is um coerced, even the way they dress.
- 45:37Look at look up pictures.
- 45:39I'm telling you, it's so incredible.
- 45:40When you look at how women were able to dress in the 1970s in Iran.
- 45:50It looked like America.
- 45:54It looked identical.
- 45:57People were happy that's the you know, women on beaches and wearing bikinis and you know, living their best life.
- 46:07They were free.
- 46:10And then something happened.
- 46:14And then they weren't.
- 46:17Not only were they not free and are not free, but the regime is so full of hatred and evil and wickedness.
- 46:29Chanting death to America, they've been chanting that for for decades.
- 46:33Death to America, saying we are gonna find the opportune time.
- 46:40And I believe it.
- 46:41Wholeheartedly, I believe it because I understand how evil people think.
- 46:46I wrote about it in my first book.
- 46:49You know, the whole the whole premise of my memoir is talking about how evil people think and how as Christians, how we counter evil people.
- 47:00We've got to manipulate evil people.
- 47:04I never talk about negotiating with them.
- 47:06I talk about manipulating them.
- 47:10And the scriptures, I think, are very clear that that's what we have to do.
- 47:16You either manipulate them or you eliminate them, and uh, I'm not one to eliminate people.
- 47:21That's for one, it's a crime.
- 47:25For two, it's just I just it's it's not our place as Christians.
- 47:34You know, we can't negotiate with people, so what do we do when people are evil?
- 47:39Well, we do the best that we can in a moral and ethical way, and we manipulate them to get them to stand down.
- 47:48We resist them, and we do that through manipulation.
- 47:53But anyway, you can, if you're interested, you can read more about that, uh, because I go into great detail about how we do that.
- 48:02But I want to look, there are a couple articles, and I thought I was gonna have more time to go into it, but um, I'm just gonna I'm gonna link to them in the show notes here, but one of them is understanding war.org.
- 48:14And uh this is excellent because uh the title of this is and it just was published on March 15th.
- 48:20The war in Iran, operational progress but challenges remain.
- 48:24And it does a really, really good job of explaining how we've crippled them and what our techniques are, and you know, the U.S.
- 48:34and Israel and what it's gonna take to actually finish this off.
- 48:41Uh, I'll read a couple sentences here.
- 48:43Iran's military weakness relative to the United States led it to adopt an asymmetric strategy against Washington that seeks to outlast Washington rather than to militarily defeat it outright.
- 48:57And that's absolutely true.
- 49:00The regime is already said, our goal is to get oil to 200 a barrel to create so much pain on the entire world globally that everybody's calling Washington, D.C.
- 49:15saying you have to end the war.
- 49:19That's that's their strategy.
- 49:23It says the various lines of effort that uh comprise this strategy have changed over the years, but during this war, Iran has relied on the five key efforts outlined above.
- 49:33Iran has likely calculated that if these five prongs cause U.S.
- 49:36casualties, drive up oil prices, and impose economic cost on both the U.S.
- 49:42and its Gulf allies, the United States and Israel would make a political decision to end the war without achieving their objectives.
- 49:50Again, this is how evil people think.
- 49:54They have zero interest in negotiating, and therefore the president, our president, President Trump has.
- 50:00Zero interest in negotiating.
- 50:02You can not negotiate.
- 50:03Peter talks about it in Second Peter too.
- 50:06I just read that.
- 50:09There is no negotiating with evil people.
- 50:12So what do you do?
- 50:14You cripple them and you take their weapons away.
- 50:19And that's exactly President Trump's strategy.
- 50:22And you know, it's interesting reading stories from the left because they're like, President Trump has no strategy.
- 50:29CNN, here's a CNN article.
- 50:32It's all about just ripping Trump and like he has no strategy.
- 50:36Here's the title of the article.
- 50:38Um Trump has already won the Iran war, why does he need foreign ships to help him end it?
- 50:49A week ago, President Trump told Britain not to bother sending ships to the Middle East because he'd already won the Iran war.
- 50:58Now he's calling on America's special relationship ally, fellow NATO states, even China, to dispatch vessels to open the Strait of Hormuz.
- 51:09He implied that if he uh if help didn't arrive, Europe's U.S.
- 51:12defense umbrella and his planned stomach this month with Chinese leader Xi Jinping could be at risk.
- 51:21But then it goes on, and it's you know, basically saying he started this war and has no strategy whatsoever.
- 51:31Um kind of interesting.
- 51:37He has a strategy.
- 51:40And if you look at the strikes, it's it's absolutely ridiculous to say that there's been no strategy, that this is just kind of a willy-nilly, you know, he's just um hitting random targets and and uh has no idea what he's doing, and so they're painting him as this bumbling buffoon, and I see a very different story.
- 52:02And based on some of the intel, based on some things that Fetter uh uh Fetterman is saying, yeah, he said I attend these briefings every single day.
- 52:12I see exactly what we're doing.
- 52:18That's very strategic.
- 52:20Now, whether we're successful, uh, fully successful or not, that's time will tell.
- 52:25I am no judge of that.
- 52:28But I'm just making the point that I don't see many options.
- 52:34We do not ever want Iran to have nuclear weapons.
- 52:43Ever.
- 52:47I mean, you start a nuclear war, uh, it's it could be the end of the earth as we know it.
- 52:57And they're crazy enough, they're evil enough, they would do it.
- 53:02And it's an absolute mistake to underestimate what they're capable of.
- 53:07And President Trump, you know, he he made this point repeatedly, and I agree, I agree with with this point.
- 53:15He said, look at what all they threw at us.
- 53:20Look at everything that they threw at us.
- 53:24Look at all the missiles, just tens of thousands of missiles.
- 53:31You know, they they had uh just massive amounts of airplanes, ships, you name it.
- 53:38He said they they were very capable.
- 53:43Can you imagine if they had gone through and we allowed them to secretly make atomic bombs?
- 53:52You know, nuclear weapons, and then we tried to go in once we knew that the weapons were complete, and then we tried to go in and and uh do it as they're building their their army and they're building their their missile reserves and all their drones.
- 54:07Look at what their drones have been capable of.
- 54:09I mean, they're very capable.
- 54:12Iran, at least they were, they were very capable.
- 54:19And so President Trump said we we had to act and we had to do it now.
- 54:26Yeah, I it's what's the option?
- 54:29And other people, it's like people on the left just screaming with their blue hair, you know, throwing themselves down in the streets.
- 54:38Like, why didn't we negotiate?
- 54:41We've been negotiating for 47 years, and look what it's gotten us.
- 54:47You have to understand how evil people operate.
- 54:52And the Bible is very clear.
- 54:54They do not stop, they will not stop, they revel in the daytime.
- 54:58That's what pure evil is.
- 55:00And so back to Pastor Jeff Crippin's article.
- 55:04I agree wholeheartedly.
- 55:06When evil goes unchallenged, it accelerates, it takes off, we empower evil, uh, we stand behind evil.
- 55:15Uh, we may as well just applaud it and and uh, you know, we can't come back and say, well, we didn't know any better.
- 55:24Then you better figure it out.
- 55:26If you don't know any better, you better you better study evil, study evil people, read history, and learn what triggers them and learn how we've stopped them.
- 55:41Historically, war has been the only way to stop people for the most part.
- 55:48There are exceptions to every rule, I get it.
- 55:53But for the most part, when you have people chanting death to America, and they they they train people and uh they brainwash people, they coerce people, they line people up and execute innocent people.
- 56:10When you have a regime that's that evil, they need to be stopped.
- 56:16And that, my friends, is the hidden lightness.
- 56:18Uh, my prayer is that they are stopped in their tracks, that these evil people are removed.
- 56:25Uh, as far as I'm concerned, they can be removed from the planet because they're not gonna change.
- 56:33So uh when will the war end?
- 56:36We don't know.
- 56:37Prayerfully, very soon.
- 56:40But it's gotta be swift and it's gotta be harsh.
- 56:43You can find more out about my show and get all the latest podcasts if you go to the menu navigation bar in America Outloud.news under our shows or schedule.
- 56:50You'll be in the know.
- 56:51There is a hidden lightness that shines inside of all of us.
- 56:54When there's so much darkness that envelops the world, remember that it doesn't take much light to expose that darkness and to ultimately inspire other people.
- 57:01Join me in being alive.
