- 0:11Speaker 1: you know.
- 0:11Speaker 2: The funny thing about this 9 a.m hour for mark
- 0:14Speaker 2: simone is it still has that that new hour smell
- 0:17Speaker 2: doesn't it is he it sort of smells like you
- 0:19Speaker 2: know when you get a new car the leather seat
- 0:20Speaker 2: smell that's sort of what the 9 a.m hour for
- 0:22Speaker 2: the mark simone show smells it'll smell that way for
- 0:24Speaker 2: about six months and then after that you'll say oh
- 0:26Speaker 2: we need to buy one of those little those little
- 0:28Speaker 2: tree air fresheners to hang by the microphone. I'm sure
- 0:32Speaker 2: Simone would love that. I'll leave one of those air
- 0:35Speaker 2: fresheners by the mic and he could say, ugh, when
- 0:38Speaker 2: he comes back. 710WOR, the voice of New York. This
- 0:42Speaker 2: is Ken Rosato, the former Channel 7 News guy, very
- 0:45Speaker 2: happily filling in for the best in the business, Mark Simone.
- 0:48Speaker 2: We go to our busy phones right now. Joe in
- 0:51Speaker 2: Elmwood Park, Bergen County, along the beautiful Passaic River. Good
- 0:55Speaker 2: morning to.
- 0:56Speaker 3: You, Joe. Good morning, Ken.
- 0:58Speaker 4: Two points.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Liberalism is a mental disorder, and it's right out of
- 1:02Speaker 3: the commie handbook. It's class warfare. They want to make
- 1:06Speaker 3: class warfare. Yeah.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Well, first of all, to call it a mental disorder,
- 1:11Speaker 2: I think you're being unfair to people with mental disorders. Secondly,
- 1:16Speaker 2: you're absolutely right. It is out of the playbook. And
- 1:19Speaker 2: people who think, oh, you're exaggerating. You're just a conspiracy theorist.
- 1:22Speaker 2: It is absolutely 100% right out of the little red book.
- 1:27Speaker 2: This is how you get people. Yep, that's it. Sol Alinsky.
- 1:30Speaker 2: This is the way they've done it. How are things
- 1:32Speaker 2: in beautiful New Jersey this morning? I miss New Jersey
- 1:35Speaker 2: since I left.
- 1:37Speaker 3: The liberals like to spend everybody else's tax money. You
- 1:40Speaker 3: know how it is.
- 1:42Speaker 2: The wonderful governor. I'm guessing you did not vote for Mikey.
- 1:47Speaker 3: No, and I don't know.
- 1:48Speaker 2: To this day, I don't know why Jack Chiarelli is
- 1:51Speaker 2: not contesting this election.
- 1:54Speaker 3: I don't know why.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Yeah, because unfortunately, every single position in the state of
- 1:57Speaker 2: New Jersey is controlled by Democrats. That's why he would
- 2:00Speaker 2: be cut off at every point. And you know what?
- 2:02Speaker 2: Jack's worked very hard to make a lot of money.
- 2:04Speaker 2: I think at this point, he should just go and
- 2:06Speaker 2: enjoy every penny that he's worked very hard to earn.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Joe in Elmwood Park, my friend, thank you. It's always
- 2:12Speaker 2: a pleasure to talk to you. I appreciate the call.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Thank you, Ken.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Thank you, man. Have a good weekend. You bet. We
- 2:17Speaker 2: go to my home county where I was born and raised, Westchester. Robert,
- 2:20Speaker 2: good morning.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Morning, Ken. Buongiorno. How are you? Buongiorno.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Good, my friend.
- 2:27Speaker 3: All right. I got two questions for you. Hopefully you
- 2:30Speaker 3: can answer them for me. The first is, I thought
- 2:33Speaker 3: the Supreme Court said with this mail-in ballot that's done,
- 2:37Speaker 3: let the president proceed, and then you can take it
- 2:40Speaker 3: up another time. Now all of a sudden another federal
- 2:42Speaker 3: judge comes in and says, nope, put a hold on it.
- 2:46Speaker 3: But doesn't that slap in the face of the Supreme Court?
- 2:49Speaker 2: Yes and no. So it's, the thing is, it's the
- 2:52Speaker 2: way it was written and it's going, they literally, unless,
- 2:56Speaker 2: unless they write things in great specificity and they didn't
- 3:01Speaker 2: on purpose, unless they write things in great specificity, people
- 3:04Speaker 2: can challenge aspects just like abortion, you know, bro versus Wade.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Uh.
- 3:11Speaker 2: said very specifically that legalized abortion basically at the time
- 3:16Speaker 2: okay but then later each state had its own little
- 3:19Speaker 2: imposition of well you can only do it the first
- 3:21Speaker 2: three months the first trimester the second trimester only if
- 3:25Speaker 2: the mother's life is in danger et cetera so there
- 3:28Speaker 2: are ways around it depending on the specificity of the
- 3:30Speaker 2: supreme court finding.
- 3:32Speaker 3: But that the general whoever is soliciting for the government
- 3:35Speaker 3: on behalf of the president and his uh... executive order
- 3:39Speaker 3: I would hope this person would have the know-it-all to say, okay,
- 3:42Speaker 3: let's make this lock tight, unless the onus now falls
- 3:46Speaker 3: on the Supreme Court that they left a little gap
- 3:49Speaker 3: in there for them to contest it, because this is
- 3:51Speaker 3: ridiculous now. It's going to go a week before they
- 3:54Speaker 3: have to go out. We know this is all about,
- 3:56Speaker 3: which brings me to my second question. Whoever out there
- 3:59Speaker 3: who can hear this, why would you vote left? Why
- 4:03Speaker 3: would you even think of it? What they've done for
- 4:06Speaker 3: the past four years under Biden, Between the border, between the,
- 4:11Speaker 3: what is that, the auto peg, where people are getting, okay, yeah,
- 4:15Speaker 3: they gave someone who committed treason a get out of jail.
- 4:19Speaker 3: That's horrifying. And then now with everything else that's going
- 4:23Speaker 3: on with the fixing, who doesn't want this? Even 70,
- 4:25Speaker 3: what did they say, 78% of Democrats say, yes, we
- 4:29Speaker 3: should have voter ID and it should be written. Everybody
- 4:33Speaker 3: talks about Canada with health care. Do you know what
- 4:35Speaker 3: they do in Canada? You first have to be on
- 4:38Speaker 3: their voter rolls. Then they're going to send you a
- 4:41Speaker 3: card to make sure to verify you still live at
- 4:43Speaker 3: that address. Then after they receive it back, then they
- 4:47Speaker 3: give you permission to vote. here no no just send
- 4:50Speaker 3: out the ballots this is this is what i mean
- 4:52Speaker 3: this is this what's exhausting and and just.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Aggravating look look at people listen robert i'm sure you've
- 4:58Speaker 2: heard of this uh and i happen to know people
- 5:00Speaker 2: who used to live in california who've moved to other
- 5:02Speaker 2: states they're still getting ballots forwarded to them because of
- 5:07Speaker 2: their mail forwarding they're getting ballots forwarded to them and
- 5:10Speaker 2: they've been in other states for years and the funny
- 5:13Speaker 2: thing is members of their families who are registered democrats
- 5:17Speaker 2: are sometimes getting two or three ballots in the mail,
- 5:19Speaker 2: and those who are registered Republicans are getting none or one.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Find that a little curious, too.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Eh, Robert?
- 5:25Speaker 2: I don't know. I love the way that works. But
- 5:27Speaker 2: that's the game they play. That's why until they have
- 5:29Speaker 2: a total overhaul, and until wusses like John Thune get
- 5:33Speaker 2: off their butts and do their jobs in the U.S. Senate,
- 5:36Speaker 2: codifying what the president wants in terms of the Fair
- 5:39Speaker 2: Voting Act and protecting voting in America, we're going to
- 5:43Speaker 2: have this problem.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Yeah, and he and there is the rhinos. I don't
- 5:49Speaker 3: care if you can't stand President Trump. You have to
- 5:53Speaker 3: look toward our country. If you don't vote, I can't understand,
- 5:57Speaker 3: especially what's her name? Murkowski, the one from the left? Oh,
- 6:00Speaker 3: people live so far away. Well, look at the shenanigans
- 6:03Speaker 3: that Democrats are pulling there. They're pulling the same thing
- 6:06Speaker 3: Joe Kennedy did for John Kennedy when he was running
- 6:08Speaker 3: for Congress. You heard about that story? The guy he
- 6:11Speaker 3: was running against was in a paisan. And then he
- 6:13Speaker 3: got a guy who was a plumber with the same
- 6:15Speaker 3: name to go on the walls. They split the vote.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Don't you people see? They can't win unless they cheat.
- 6:23Speaker 2: They look at it as you come up with the
- 6:25Speaker 2: same tricks that we come up with then. Part of
- 6:28Speaker 2: the problem is we don't do that on the right.
- 6:30Speaker 2: We just don't do that. And I've even had this
- 6:32Speaker 2: debate with my brother, whom I love forever. My brother,
- 6:35Speaker 2: six years older, always says, no, it's not right to
- 6:37Speaker 2: do this. My brother's very, very honest and down the line.
- 6:40Speaker 2: He believes that you don't combat the problem by compounding it.
- 6:46Speaker 2: But I believe in order to get to a point
- 6:49Speaker 2: where we could make it fair, sometimes you may have
- 6:52Speaker 2: to play by their rules in order to gain the
- 6:55Speaker 2: upper hand and then make it blanket policy that nobody
- 6:58Speaker 2: violates those rules again. Go ahead, Robert, and then we
- 7:01Speaker 2: got to go. I'm sorry. Go ahead.
- 7:04Speaker 3: No, I just wanted to say, I don't want to
- 7:05Speaker 3: give them a whataboutism. I believe we should stand on
- 7:08Speaker 3: our principles that the way of founders gave it to us,
- 7:10Speaker 3: but we should expose this and then we should stick
- 7:13Speaker 3: together and say, this has to be legal and it
- 7:16Speaker 3: has to be pure because if we take this away,
- 7:19Speaker 3: it's no good anymore.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Robert exposing it, exposing it is with, with what, with
- 7:23Speaker 2: the left wing media that won't because they look at
- 7:26Speaker 2: everything we talk about from the right as being baloney.
- 7:29Speaker 2: That's part of the problem. I sat in those newsrooms, Robert,
- 7:33Speaker 2: you know how many times I used to eat bottles
- 7:34Speaker 2: of Tums in the morning and because I would sit
- 7:36Speaker 2: there and look at nine anti-Trump stories at the various
- 7:40Speaker 2: stations I worked at, and there would be one story
- 7:42Speaker 2: that was sort of in the middle, and they would
- 7:44Speaker 2: call that balance. And I would look at them and say,
- 7:46Speaker 2: are you out of your mind? But this is what
- 7:48Speaker 2: you get in the newsrooms, because all the members of
- 7:50Speaker 2: the media come out of the same journalism schools with
- 7:53Speaker 2: the same mentality. They all live on the Upper West Side,
- 7:55Speaker 2: and they're all liberals. It is what it is.
- 7:58Speaker 3: No argument, but the last thing I want to say
- 8:00Speaker 3: is guys like you, guys like Mark, and other people
- 8:05Speaker 3: on the right who have this voice, you are the answer.
- 8:08Speaker 3: I don't believe we should sink down to their level,
- 8:10Speaker 3: because then we become them. And that's just the way
- 8:13Speaker 3: I feel. God bless you, my friend. I wish you
- 8:15Speaker 3: all the best.
- 8:16Speaker 2: And you as well. I appreciate it, and thank you
- 8:17Speaker 2: for the blessing. I'll take that, too. Thank you. I
- 8:19Speaker 2: appreciate it, Robert. Have a nice weekend. And we go
- 8:21Speaker 2: to our friend Bonnie on Long Island. Good morning, Bonnie.
- 8:24Speaker 4: Good morning to you. I have two quotes about socialism
- 8:28Speaker 4: by two of the... Long-standing, brilliant prime ministers of England.
- 8:33Speaker 4: I'm quoting directly. Winston Churchill said, socialism is the equal
- 8:39Speaker 4: sharing of misery. And Margaret Thatcher said, socialism works differently.
- 8:45Speaker 4: until you run out of other people's money. Do I
- 8:48Speaker 4: need to say anything else?
- 8:49Speaker 2: It's 100% correct. Both are right. And the reason why
- 8:52Speaker 2: we smile is because of the correctness in both statements.
- 8:56Speaker 2: And all you have to do is look at history,
- 8:58Speaker 2: and you can understand that that is exactly the case
- 9:01Speaker 2: in both incidents. But the problem is you have a
- 9:06Speaker 2: society now where we have indoctrinated kids in school since
- 9:10Speaker 2: the 50s and 60s. That's where it really started. where
- 9:13Speaker 2: you had far-left wingers take over our education system. So
- 9:17Speaker 2: when you have kids coming out of school, some who
- 9:20Speaker 2: still have close relationships with their families come out of
- 9:23Speaker 2: those schools and still think like their families think and
- 9:26Speaker 2: have at least an open mind. And they say, well,
- 9:29Speaker 2: I can understand why liberals think this, and this is
- 9:31Speaker 2: why I still think that. However, you have the kids
- 9:34Speaker 2: who come out of families that didn't talk politics, who
- 9:37Speaker 2: don't have a knowledge of politics. They go to those schools,
- 9:40Speaker 2: get indoctrinated, Come out and have one side in mind.
- 9:45Speaker 2: And that's it. And then they move forward in society
- 9:48Speaker 2: as ardent liberals. And these are the kids, the girls
- 9:51Speaker 2: who color their hair green and get the septum piercings.
- 9:55Speaker 2: And they're all overweight and rather unattractive, if I may add. Ken,
- 9:59Speaker 2: what does that have to do?
- 9:59Speaker 3: With it?
- 10:01Speaker 2: It says something about the psychological state, I think. Remember,
- 10:04Speaker 2: I used to weigh 400 pounds at one point in
- 10:06Speaker 2: my life, and I know where I was psychologically then, too.
- 10:09Speaker 2: So I'm just speaking from experience. But I think that
- 10:13Speaker 2: that is part of the problem. And until we get
- 10:15Speaker 2: a grasp of our education system and get it back, Bonnie,
- 10:18Speaker 2: I think the problem is going to continue. But we
- 10:20Speaker 2: appreciate the call, 800-321-0710, 800-321-0710. We're going to come right back.
- 10:22Speaker 2: We'll take more of your calls in just a moment
- 10:24Speaker 2: at 710WOR.
