- 0:07Now broadcasting from the next-gen conservative Studio
- 0:11here in sunny South Florida. Bringing you the latest in
- 0:14politics current events and pop culture.
- 0:18This is he's the Whitfield Report with Sam Whitfield.
- 0:31Hello there folks and welcome to the MonDay edition of the
- 0:35Whitfield report. I am her hosts and what fields
- 0:40and I hope you all had a great weekend.
- 0:43I know I did very relaxing. During the weekend.
- 0:50However, a couple interesting events occurred, there was, of
- 0:55course, CPAC 2023. The conservative political
- 1:00action conference, which I have to admit.
- 1:03I didn't really turn into CPAC all that much.
- 1:08Ladies and gentlemen, I saw a couple highlights but generally
- 1:13ladies and gentlemen, I have not been interested in CPAC really,
- 1:18for about the As. Two years or so.
- 1:25I've been to enough political conferences of my own.
- 1:29I've never meant to see packet self, but I've been to the
- 1:35Western conservative Summit in Denver Colorado.
- 1:39A few times. In fact, that was my very first
- 1:43political convention that I attended way back when I was a
- 1:46senior in high school. You know, several years ago and
- 1:51I met Gwen back there several years ago and that photo of when
- 2:00Glenn Beck and I that kind of circulated and, you know, as
- 2:05that's kind of become one of my more well-known public photos
- 2:10out there. So, I've been to the Western
- 2:15conservative Summit, few times. And I've also been to yell Khan,
- 2:20which is You know, that's the Young Americans for Liberty.
- 2:25That's their convention. I went to one of those a few
- 2:29years ago and then I've just been to various other, you know,
- 2:34smaller conservative any events here in Florida.
- 2:39And They all. are essentially the same thing, they're more or
- 2:48less networking events for you know, conservatives That's what
- 2:56they are at the end of the day and see pack is no different.
- 3:02In fact, Dennis Miller put it you know elk out put it so
- 3:10eloquently a few years, you know probably like 15 years ago when
- 3:14he was broadcasting from CPAC. He basically said it was like,
- 3:19it was like Fourth of July made some, the Star Wars Cantina Bar.
- 3:25Our scene. And you know, that that's not
- 3:32based on footage. I've seen and my experience at
- 3:35other conservative conventions, that's not too far. you know,
- 3:43that that's not too far from the truth regarding, you know, an
- 3:49accurate description of see pack Miranda, right.
- 3:56One of the reasons why I've never been able to go, is, you
- 3:59know, two reasons. Hey, when I was in college they
- 4:04would always, you know, host and in like like February or early
- 4:09March, and of course, my school. Whenever I've whenever I was in
- 4:16school that was usually, either one finals were or know when
- 4:23midterms were either, Either getting ready to start or when I
- 4:27was in the midst of midterm. So not really good, you know.
- 4:36Spot for me to, you know, fly to d.c. even even for the weekend
- 4:43that wasn't ever really, that good for me to do that.
- 4:49And then on top of all that just the pricing is, you know, really
- 4:55expensive because they they hold at the Gaylord hotel in DC,
- 5:00which is like it's like 15 to 2000, you know dollars for just
- 5:10the weekend at CPAC and you know, for two nights and You
- 5:19know, three days. Which is, you know.
- 5:25Not a pretty penny, and that's just the starting price.
- 5:30So yeah, I've never been to see pack myself.
- 5:33But, you know, I've watched highlights with years and I
- 5:38don't know, to be honest, you know, over the past couple years
- 5:44CPAC just doesn't have the fire that used to, to me.
- 5:49Maybe it's just because I've gotten older and whatnot, but
- 5:54they're just the role. Isn't that much energy?
- 5:59As CPAC this year from what I could see and not a whole lot of
- 6:05Twitter Buzz. Either regarding you know C Pac
- 6:11which is weird because years past like conservative.
- 6:16Twitter was usually you know, going over Bo bot blow-by-blow,
- 6:22you know, minute-by-minute coverage of You know, CPAC and
- 6:26years passed. And now it's just kind of
- 6:30dwindle down. But anyway, I figured we would
- 6:35cover CPAC. Regardless cover couple
- 6:41highlights. Just in general.
- 6:49Since it is relevant, and let me say this from the outset. people
- 6:56were looking for, you know, like lines in the sand be drawn and
- 7:05you know, policy for 2024 and Battle plans to really be set up
- 7:13but I didn't see too much of that this year at at C Pac,
- 7:18which is really weird, considering its the year before
- 7:22an election year, not too many people.
- 7:26You know, C Pac will really gearing up for 24.
- 7:30Seems it? Kind of seemed like an off here,
- 7:34which to be fair. It is, but it's also the year
- 7:37right before the election. So you think there would be more
- 7:39energy in CPAC? But regardless those are just
- 7:45some on my criticisms from the outset now.
- 7:54I was tempted to view Trump's speech in its entirety and
- 8:01dissect in its and tidy. For y'all, however, I am trying
- 8:07to keep these Monday podcast under an hour and Trump's entire
- 8:17speech is like an hour and 50 minutes, it's almost two hours.
- 8:24So definitely not going to do that.
- 8:26I did find a pretty good highlight compilation of Trumps.
- 8:33You know, CPAC speech from from Newsmax, I think does a pretty
- 8:37good job of some of the highlights.
- 8:40But then I wanted to cover some other highlights from some other
- 8:43people as well. Most Ali, first off, we have
- 8:49Nikki Haley, who, you know, delivered, some remarks at C Pac
- 8:57and it looks like she she's gearing up to throw her hat in
- 9:03the ring in 24. As well.
- 9:10So without further Ado, let's take a look at this roll.
- 9:15The tape. The liberal media is heads, are
- 9:19exploding about my run for president, and we all know why
- 9:25the media can't stand. The fact that I'm a concern.
- 9:29Think about it. I'm a woman, I'm a minority and
- 9:34I'm the daughter of immigrants. I am proof that Liberals are
- 9:38wrong about everything they say about America.
- 9:43Americans deserve better than the way we're living today.
- 9:46And I'm But we can take our country to her best days.
- 9:50The plan on calling for will do, just that it's fundamentally
- 9:54conservative and profoundly American.
- 9:57And I know they can unite our people, but real Unity doesn't
- 10:01come from faint hearts, or water down compromises.
- 10:05Real National Unity comes from boldly.
- 10:08Proclaiming our national purpose, it comes from standing
- 10:11on principle and persuading opponents to stand with us.
- 10:15Like I did when I was governor. And when I was Ambassador, I'll
- 10:19take this message, far and wide in the days ahead.
- 10:23But I have a particular message for you.
- 10:25My fellow conservatives. We've lost the popular vote in
- 10:31the last seven out of eight presidential elections are
- 10:35causes, right? But we have failed to win the
- 10:38confidence of a majority of Americans that ends.
- 10:42Now, if you're tired of losing, put your trust in a new
- 10:46generation, and if you want to win, not just as a party.
- 10:50But as a country, then stand with me, I'm here to ask for
- 10:55your vote, but I want something else even more.
- 10:58I want us to inspire our country again together we can summon our
- 11:03fellow citizens to look past the failed ideas and leaders from
- 11:07what Shootin and find the courage to be part of the
- 11:10solution. It is time that we have term
- 11:13limits once and for all in Washington DC.
- 11:23Americans deserve better than the way we're living today and
- 11:26I'm confident we can take our country to her best days.
- 11:30The plan on calling for will do, just that it's fundamentally
- 11:34conservative and profoundly American.
- 11:37And I know we can unite our people.
- 11:40But real Unity doesn't come from faint hearts, or water down
- 11:44compromises. Real National Unity comes from
- 11:48boldly. Proclaiming our national
- 11:50purpose, it comes from standing on principle and persuading
- 11:53opponents to stand with us. Like I did when I was governor
- 11:57and when I was Ambassador, I'll take this message, far and wide
- 12:01in the days ahead. But I have a particular message
- 12:05for you. My fellow conservatives, we've
- 12:09lost the popular vote in the last seven out of eight
- 12:12presidential elections, Our cause is right, but we have
- 12:17failed to win the confidence of a majority of Americans that
- 12:22ends. Now, if you're tired of losing.
- 12:26So basically ABC News just looped, you know what?
- 12:32They basically looped her remarks and played them twice in
- 12:38the video, right? so, My first impression from
- 12:48seeing that is because I didn't always see her.
- 12:51I did see Trump's whole speech and it's long.
- 12:56I'm not going to have time to play the whole thing as I said.
- 13:01But one, but one thing I might take away from, you know, the
- 13:06clip of Nikki Haley. This was supposedly a big moment
- 13:11at C Pac, right? But I'm sitting here. and I'm
- 13:17thinking to myself, How? How was this a, you know, big to
- 13:26finding moment? you know, for Nikki Haley, this
- 13:34sounds like Almost every, you know, conservative speech, that
- 13:43I've heard. Going back to Sarah Palin, in
- 13:482008. It's not new.
- 13:52Our ideas are better. We need, you know, Common Sense,
- 13:57solution ands. All that.
- 14:03But she's not. Really, she's not energetic.
- 14:12Really. It seems like she's just doing
- 14:14the standard, you know, conservative ink, you know, type
- 14:19speech, very very Boomer ish. as far as presentation, she said
- 14:29she has great policy ideas and I realized that this is a
- 14:33highlight reel, but still What are those policies?
- 14:42Has she outlined anything specific that she wants to do?
- 14:48I've worked, I can't see a whole lot regarding what her actual
- 14:54policy is. So, so far, we have Donald Trump
- 15:00and we have Nikki Haley. Who's coming off as a real
- 15:05milquetoast conservative, right? then we have Mike Pompeo, who I
- 15:20guess let me just make sure that this is showing here.
- 15:24Okay, it is So, Mike Pompeo. Awesome. 80 speech. at C Pac and
- 15:41his biggest moment at C Pac came from the fact that you basically
- 15:49criticized Trump Right. Oh he took a shot at the big
- 15:57man. Here and let's see what he has
- 16:02to say. Okay, I got the clip queued up.
- 16:14again, this is a Mike Pompeo at CPAC, this comes from the
- 16:19Washington Post Pompeii, pay it In the video is Pompeo.
- 16:28Criticizes Trump's refusal, to quote, unquote acknowledge
- 16:32reality. Okay, so clip number two, roll.
- 16:37The tape we have to. Also that's also show why to
- 16:42show why? And how we're different from the
- 16:44left, embracing, conservatism, the sets us apart in substance
- 16:47and style and our commitment to values.
- 16:49Liberals, look for Solutions in the government, we know that's
- 16:52dangerous, don't hand that government, more power under the
- 16:57guise of conservatism. We shouldn't look for a
- 17:00larger-than-life personalities, but rather we should find power
- 17:03in the rooms. Like this one people all across
- 17:06the country. And I'm confident we're going to
- 17:09get there. A renewed dedication to
- 17:10accountability personal responsibility and results.
- 17:13This is the thing that has made the conservative movement in our
- 17:16party. Successful for decades, we can't
- 17:20become the left following celebrity Leaders with their own
- 17:23brand of identity, politics those with fragile egos, who
- 17:26refuse to acknowledge reality? This is a tough World, both
- 17:30abroad and here. And we need we can't shift blame
- 17:34to others but must accept the responsibility that comes to
- 17:36those of us who Forward and Lead.
- 17:40Please no. Over the last few years, I've
- 17:45heard some who claim to be conservative excuse hypocrisy,
- 17:49by saying something like, well, War were electing a president.
- 17:52Not a Sunday school teacher. That's true.
- 17:55But having taught Sunday school, maybe we could get both It's
- 18:00it's time. It's time for us.
- 18:02It's time for us to make sure we're living at these very
- 18:05things. We're asking others to do these
- 18:08external threats. These internal threats that we
- 18:10face today their challenge to American sovereignty, our
- 18:13traditions So again, mom Pompey, ladies and gentlemen.
- 18:22Like Nikki Haley is another. individual, who Really didn't
- 18:32say anything other than the traditional, you know,
- 18:39conservative ink, buzz word, right.
- 18:44We need, you know, conservative values Traditional Values.
- 18:48He also for some reason, he thought that mashing Trump and
- 18:53his supporters, you know, and calling him a, you know, some
- 18:57more though, massive ego. And You know who talks tough and
- 19:04does understand reality. He thought that would, you know,
- 19:08gain him, try and my going over over, you know by you know
- 19:14taking a shot at Trump. As you could see that the crowd
- 19:19was you know, at best, he got a few claps, you know, for we need
- 19:25to be more responsible with that with our it is his energy was
- 19:31very, you know, well Well, energy, Mike has Trump might
- 19:37say. And all in all he was not very
- 19:44energetic either. Now people have said that Mike
- 19:50Pompeo would be a good nominee to run but just from the outset.
- 20:00You know, putting aside everything that Pompeo just said
- 20:04which was a very weak speech. Pompeii was big problem and why
- 20:12he will struggle in the presidential field.
- 20:17Is this Mike Pompeo was the director of the CIA for Donald
- 20:27Trump. and granite, he would say very Good CI.
- 20:35A director for Trump. but, What most what the people in
- 20:44Washington, don't understand why.
- 20:47And what the establishment, what the establishment Republicans
- 20:51either don't understand or what they don't care about.
- 20:54Is the fact that a lot of people, a lot of conservatives
- 21:00And just how people in general, a lot of people are weary of the
- 21:04CIA. Or any of these other alphabet
- 21:08agencies in the people who lead them. and so the fact that
- 21:14Pompey owes background is and Military Intelligence these days
- 21:21in 2023 and in 2024, that is going to be a huge obstacle and
- 21:30roadblock for Mike Pompeo. And there are a lot of people
- 21:40who have a strong distrust of him, because he was a CI actor,
- 21:47and I'm not even saying anything conspiratorial.
- 21:50I'm, I'm just saying that A lot of people have this truck.
- 21:57Mistrust denim because he was CIA director and, you know,
- 22:01being director of the CIA automatically equals, you know
- 22:06the shadowy government types. In a lot of people's minds.
- 22:13So that's you know that's a big thing that I think is going to
- 22:17be a huge obstacle for Mike Pompeo if he decides to run.
- 22:24Right. Okay, some.
- 22:26So now before we get to Trump, ladies and gentlemen, gentlemen
- 22:34I, I want to go ahead here and I want to talk about a few of the
- 22:42people who were not at CPAC 2023 this year and one of those
- 22:52people. Well, there's only one I want to
- 22:54talk about and that is Governor Ron De Santos, my Governor from
- 22:59the great state of Florida, And he did not make an appearance at
- 23:04Sea pack this year. For two reasons.
- 23:12The first one is pretty obvious to me at least and that is the
- 23:17governor DeSantis is busy. Doing his job running the State
- 23:25of Florida and being our leader. He's busy doing his job as
- 23:32governor and he's not going to do beer at CPAC.
- 23:38You know, and unless it were in Florida, he would not you know,
- 23:43I don't think he would leave. The state to do particles,
- 23:48something like that, right? Which leads me to my next point,
- 23:56which is a lot of people are saying that he's going to be the
- 24:02Trojan, Horse candidate. The surprise candidate that is
- 24:07going to challenge Trump. He's going to be the big, you
- 24:13know. You know, that's going to be the
- 24:17Rivalry Trump versus to Santa's in the Republican primaries.
- 24:23There are a lot of people particularly in the Lincoln
- 24:26project. Who want that to happen.
- 24:31And it very well could happen. But as I have said before, and
- 24:36as my co-host shmuly has said, you know, to and several others
- 24:42that is not a smart idea for this and just because there are
- 24:48a lot of You know, a lot of the Santa's supporters are also
- 24:53Trump supporters, the vast majority of them, I would say.
- 24:58And so by having Trump versus Sanders, the Santa's would be
- 25:05alienating his own base. Right?
- 25:10And so that would not be good for I Trump would be him.
- 25:16You know, in the primary and then in 2028 When de santis
- 25:21needed help, I think a lot of Mag conservatives would not back
- 25:26him per se and his 20:28 would run would be in the ground.
- 25:33Now. Because of that, you know, I I
- 25:41think the Sanders knows that running in 2024 would not be
- 25:46Optical Warren. I think he knows that and I
- 25:49think that's why he decided not to show up at CPAC 2023, they're
- 25:56all these people you know, in the Lincoln project and in kind
- 26:00of conservative and and conservative ink if that's what
- 26:04you call them. That desperately want Trump into
- 26:08Sanders to face off against each other, right?
- 26:12They desperately want that. But this and as I think knows
- 26:19that this is bad, I that it's a bad idea.
- 26:22He has said publicly That his only intentions as right now are
- 26:31to be the best Governor that he can be for the State of Florida
- 26:36and continues work and I believe them.
- 26:41And I don't think it's because he's afraid of going up against
- 26:44Trump or anything like that. I don't think it's a matter of.
- 26:48How is he, you know, fearful of trump?
- 26:51Has he not? I think he realizes practice.
- 26:56That it would not be Optical Foreman plus more than that
- 27:01though. I genuinely think that he wants
- 27:06To fulfill his second term as Governor, Florida.
- 27:10As he said he would. Because in my mind the Santa's
- 27:16is A man of principle and he does keep his word.
- 27:22So he's going to keep his word to the, to his fellow
- 27:28Floridians, and finish his term out and then we'll see where
- 27:32things go in 2028. So I don't, you know, I think
- 27:41that's why he's not running and, you know, the other thing kind
- 27:47of adding onto that is all in all, you know, he hasn't named a
- 27:54successor yet for governor forwarding, I think he's going
- 27:59to want to do that. Before the end of his term, as
- 28:03Governor is MM. He's going to, you know, want to
- 28:06name a successor, kind of, you know, someone to endorse, who
- 28:10can continue his work, you know, as governor and whether that be
- 28:16lieutenant governor, new governor, Janet new Yes.
- 28:22Or somebody else, I'm not sure yet but I definitely think that
- 28:28he will want to pick someone as his quote unquote successor for
- 28:34governor of Florida, but I just don't think that that's, you
- 28:38know, he's not ready to do that yet, he's ready to, you know,
- 28:43his only goal is to, you know, keep on serving as governor of
- 28:48Florida and he's doing a pretty good job so far.
- 28:54Okay, so with that out of the way, I want to, you know, I want
- 29:01to draw your attention now too. Trump's C Pac remarks.
- 29:14This weekend. And there was a lot of, there
- 29:26was a lot of things that he said again to our speech but his main
- 29:33take away. It seems to be biting.
- 29:42He has made it abundantly clear that his that he wants a rematch
- 29:49against Bob lighten in 2024. That is that is his big purpose
- 29:58right now. That is as main focus.
- 30:01And then and then he is going to finish what he started as
- 30:07president. In 2016. so, this ought to be
- 30:18This ought to be interesting, folks.
- 30:22So let's play the clip as soon as I get it cued up.
- 30:28And let's see. Here we go.
- 30:35Okay. So here are some highlights
- 30:39from, you know, Trump's CPAC speech over the weekend.
- 30:46Again this is five minutes out of a you know, out of a two-hour
- 30:52speech. So I recommend that everyone to
- 30:55go and watch that. In fact, I will link you know,
- 30:59to Trump's full of CPAC speech in the show notes because I
- 31:03definitely think it is worth watching.
- 31:07But here are just some brief, you know, summaries of Trumps
- 31:15c-pack, speech highlights, roll the tape.
- 31:20We have no choice. If we don't do this, our country
- 31:25will be lost forever. People are tired of rhinos and
- 31:29globalists they want to see America first, that's what they
- 31:33want. It's not too complicated.
- 31:36This is the final battle. They know it.
- 31:39I know it. You know, it everybody knows it.
- 31:42This is it either they win or we win.
- 31:48And if they win we no longer have a country and I promise you
- 31:51this if you put me back in the White House that beautiful
- 31:55building but I live in very beautiful buildings is that that
- 31:58reason Beautiful, that building wasn't the easiest building to
- 32:04live in with what I was put through.
- 32:07And, you know, I get a lot of credit, a lot of people say, How
- 32:10do you do it sir. I had a man come up to me the
- 32:13other day. One of the toughest strongest
- 32:14people that you can imagine you all know his name, big
- 32:17businessmen, a lot of money, lot of success tough as hell and she
- 32:21could I ask you a question president?
- 32:22Want friend of mine used to call me?
- 32:24Donald how it goes? We president Could I ask you a
- 32:27question present? What, how do you do it?
- 32:30How do you do it every day? They sent you subpoenas every
- 32:34day thereafter. You they're looking to take you
- 32:36down at levels that nobody's ever put up with, before seven
- 32:41years. I've gone through this, we beat
- 32:43them all, but he continues and he said to me.
- 32:46Seriously, how do you do it? I could never do it.
- 32:49This is one of the toughest guys.
- 32:50They said maybe you could he said nope, I couldn't do it.
- 32:53I couldn't get out of bed in the morning, but I do it for you.
- 32:56And that's what I'm doing it for.
- 32:57I do it for you. Thank you very much and if you
- 33:26put me back in the White House, their reign is over there, rain
- 33:30will be over and they know it and America will be a free
- 33:34Nation. Nation, once again, we're not a
- 33:35free Nation. Right now, we don't have Free
- 33:37Press, we don't have free anything in 2016.
- 33:41I declared, I am your voice today.
- 33:45I add. I am your Warrior, I am your
- 33:48Justice. And for those who have been
- 33:50wronged and betrayed, I am your retribution.
- 33:54I am your retribution. Not gonna let this happen.
- 34:01Let it happen. I will totally obliterate.
- 34:08The Deep stay, I will fire. I will fire the unelected
- 34:31bureaucrats and Shadow forces. Okay.
- 34:35Now, I just want to pause here real quick because Noticing
- 34:41those three minutes, folks. this is only a five minute clip, but
- 34:46notice in just those three minutes that we played so far,
- 34:53He is funny, he's making jokes about you know living in the
- 34:57White House versus a living and Mar-A-Lago he's getting laughs
- 35:02from the crowd. He you know he's pithy he's
- 35:06engaging the crowd is cheering their whooping it up.
- 35:15They're they're super engaged. and of course you know, Trump's
- 35:24critics will be like well that's just because he has a cult of
- 35:28personality and you know what not blah blah blah you know that
- 35:34that's that's from school like Behavior kicking in and,
- 35:44Granted, that might be true to a certain extent. but, You cannot
- 35:58tell me that a crowd like that. is, I mean, I'm sure that they
- 36:09were people in that crowd who were cheering who have had
- 36:14disagreements with Trump. You know who like me and I will
- 36:21admit this. There are moments right?
- 36:25Where Trump has tweeted something or he has said
- 36:27something and we've all had those, you know, facepalm Owens.
- 36:32Like you know, why did he tweet that?
- 36:34Why did he say that right? Shot that definitely has had his
- 36:40blunders. There is no denying that however
- 36:45Trump's energy. When he's AA, twenty when Trump
- 36:49has his Mojo. There's no deny. even the left
- 36:56can't deny this, that when Trump has his Mojo going, it's
- 37:01uncontainable. And so, You know, notice the
- 37:10difference between Trump and that of Nikki Haley or Mike
- 37:15Pompeo who yeah, Mike Pompeo. And Nikki Haley.
- 37:19They might be more eloquent. They might be more
- 37:21statesmanlike, but they're not that engaging.
- 37:26And so therefore they're only getting a small, you know,
- 37:29they're getting plight clapping from a few people in the back
- 37:34row at the most You know, where As Trump is being energized and
- 37:40the crowd loves it. He'll have weaponized our
- 37:48justice system, like it has never been weaponized before
- 37:51sick. These are sick people that I
- 37:54will put the people back in charge of this country.
- 37:57Again, the people will be back in charge of our country.
- 38:04Goodbye. Didn't ministration is the most
- 38:06corrupt Administration in American history, Hunter.
- 38:10Biden is a criminal and nothing happened to him.
- 38:13Nothing happened. Joe Biden is a criminal and
- 38:16nothing ever seems to happen to him because, you know, say what
- 38:21you want. But the Democrats stick
- 38:23together, they don't have Mitt Romney, they don't have guys
- 38:27like that. They, they stick together.
- 38:30How's Mitt Romney doing, not do good.
- 38:34I could name plenty of others too but they do stick together
- 38:37whether you like them or not and many of us don't, but maybe
- 38:40someday we get together. You know, a question was asked
- 38:43me, just before covid King. And that's the other thing too.
- 38:49Is Trump recognizes that the Democrats do stick together?
- 38:56and this is something that Republicans Just simply.
- 39:04Don't do, the conservative movement is sewing.
- 39:08Is so fractured. The right is fractured, it's
- 39:13unbelievable. In all honesty.
- 39:21And this unit, this lack of the unity, this is why the Democrats
- 39:26more often than not seem to been.
- 39:30Even when they do, you know, criminal things like election
- 39:36fraud and whatnot and stealing elections, etc, etc.
- 39:41They can afford to do that because there's no cohesion and
- 39:46there's no unity and Trump understands.
- 39:52You know, in the Republican Party, there's no cohesion and
- 39:57there's no Unity on our side and whereas the Democrats do have
- 40:01that on their side so they can get away with murder pretty much
- 40:05in Trump understands. Amen.
- 40:10They said the country is coming together.
- 40:13Do you think this is real? And I said to myself, it is
- 40:18real. It's amazing.
- 40:20I was getting calls from radical left people.
- 40:23The nicest calls. It's amazing because we had the
- 40:25best employment numbers in history.
- 40:28We had the best economy in history.
- 40:30We were lapping in China. China was supposed to have taken
- 40:34over as the world's largest economy and we were actually in
- 40:38Precinct at a level that nobody thought possible.
- 40:40We were doing great. And then you had covid, come in.
- 40:43And a lot of things had to happen, and we did a great job.
- 40:45We never got the credit for that job but we did a great job with
- 40:48covid and then gave back something very strong but we
- 40:53were really bringing this country together.
- 40:54Had covid. Not come in, I think you would
- 40:56have had a much different because a lot of people want to
- 40:58know. Can we all get along together
- 41:00and I if I didn't have that experience, I would say no
- 41:04because the, you know, the thought process is so different,
- 41:07but we were starting to really get along.
- 41:15So again he's talking about unity and you know, ignore this
- 41:22this is just Newsmax add at the end of the video but again Trump
- 41:27is talking about Unity. He's talking about bringing the
- 41:31country together. He's got people, laughing
- 41:35chuckling and again, even if you like me have had moments where,
- 41:43you know, Trump You know, Trump says some abrasive things and
- 41:48there is no doubt that he can be an asshole at times, right?
- 41:55But this is the Donald from when we see this Trump, he's on fire,
- 42:01he's got his mojo back and at this, right, there's no doubt
- 42:08that he's going to be, I mean, I mean, he already is the
- 42:11front-runner, but with this type of energy, yeah, he's going to
- 42:16be the nominee again in 2024. Mark my words, it's just that
- 42:23simple. So that's pretty much the
- 42:28summary. I have four C, Pac 23, like I
- 42:36said - Trump's speech very lackluster.
- 42:42This your light is in gentlemen, not a whole lot to discuss in
- 42:47all honesty. Really not a lot of energy, kind
- 42:54of disappointing, but you guys wanted to see pack summary.
- 42:58So there you have it. Before I go though, I do kind of
- 43:06want to end the Monday show with a little pallet cleanser for you
- 43:13all because this weekend, Chris Rock's new comedy, special on
- 43:21Netflix. Dropped and he had a few, you
- 43:30know, choice words to say about his confrontation with Will
- 43:37Smith last year at the Oscars and this clip was going around a
- 43:44couple, you know, all throughout the weekend.
- 43:48And this was actually the name of his special that's out on
- 43:52Netflix, pretty good. Selective outrage, which is a
- 43:57fitting title and kind of just kind of sums up things in the
- 44:04country as a whole. So here, you know, here's an
- 44:09excerpt from that special and Chris Rock talking about his
- 44:14confrontation, with Will Smith and kind of of the fall from
- 44:19that. Getting smacked by shook Smith,
- 44:29everybody knows everybody fucking nose.
- 44:34Yes, it happened. I got smiling a year ago.
- 44:38Fucking last week. I've got smacked in the fucking
- 44:40Oscars by this motherfucker and people I did it hurt it.
- 44:45Still hurts. I got summertime ringing in my
- 44:49ear. Fucking drums, please.
- 44:59But I'm not a victim. Baby, you will never see me on
- 45:02Oprah, Gail, crying. You never see it, never gonna
- 45:09happen. I couldn't believe it.
- 45:13I'm glad no, it's never gonna happen.
- 45:18No, fuck that shit. I took that hit like Pacquiao
- 45:21motherfucker. I took it like motherfucking
- 45:29Pacquiao. Okay.
- 45:31Shit man, did it hurt? Yeah, motherfucker and people.
- 45:36Well, you guys are fighting all the time.
- 45:38We're not, first of all, I know you can't tell on camera Will
- 45:42Smith is significantly bigger than me.
- 45:45We are not the same size. Okay, we are not it's got this
- 45:50guy. Muslim does movies with his
- 45:52shirt off. You've Never seen me.
- 45:55Do a movie with my shirt off. If I'm in a movie, getting open,
- 46:01heart surgery, I got on a sweater.
- 46:09Will Smith played Muhammad Ali in the movie.
- 46:13You think I auditioned for that part.
- 46:16He play mom, and that's why poke a new Jason.
- 46:34She even an animation. This motherfuckers bigger, I'm a
- 46:37zebra, he's a shock. What the fuck man?
- 46:41But pot, well, Smith practices selective outrage.
- 46:50Practices, select active outrage because everybody knows what the
- 46:56fuck happened. Everybody that really knows
- 46:59knows. I had nothing to do with that
- 47:01shit. I didn't have any entanglements.
- 47:11I did not have an entanglement and for people that don't know
- 47:14what everybody else. Will sit in his wife was fucking
- 47:18her son's friend, okay? Okay.
- 47:21Now I normally would not talk about this shit but for some
- 47:26reason, these niggas put that shit on the internet.
- 47:30I have no idea why to talented people would do something that
- 47:34fucking slow down what the fuck that we all been cheated on
- 47:39everybody. Any have been cheated on, none
- 47:42of us have ever been interviewed by the person that cheated on us
- 47:47on television. None of us.
- 47:50Like hey, I was sending somebody else's dick.
- 47:53How did that make you feel? Why the fuck would you do that
- 48:07shit? She heard him way more to he
- 48:10hurt me. Okay, okay.
- 48:13And by the way, he does shit everybody in the world called
- 48:19him a bitch. I tried to call the mother,
- 48:21fucking give him my condolences and pick up for me.
- 48:24Everybody called that man of BX. Fucking cent of Charlemagne.
- 48:30Call him a bitch in the back. A club called him a bitch and a
- 48:34view and the park and every rapper and fighting for the
- 48:38drink Champs, called him a fucking bitch, everybody called
- 48:43him a bitch and called his wife of President, everybody called
- 48:46him a bitch. And who's he hit me?
- 49:01Nigger. He knows he could be that in
- 49:03some bitch-ass shit. That's what the fuck happened.
- 49:14Okay the fuck out of here man. The fuck, what the fuck?
- 49:20I do nothing to this motherfucker.
- 49:21Okay, his whatever years ago, his wife said I, I should quit
- 49:26the eye because I shouldn't host, because her man didn't get
- 49:29nominated. It for emancipation, the biggest
- 49:33piece of shit ever. Okay.
- 49:36It is something nigga. Gives me a fucking about fucking
- 49:39concussion. No, not a bad space.
- 49:41I fucked up the joke concussion. She fucking said he should quit
- 49:47because will didn't get nominated for concussion, what
- 49:50the fuck. Well, so did I do some jokes
- 49:53about who gives a fuck? That's how it is.
- 49:55She started I finish it. Okay, that's what the fuck
- 49:59happened. He's picking on this bitch.
- 50:02She started this shit. Nobody pick it on her.
- 50:12She said of me a fucking grown-ass man.
- 50:15Should quit his job because her husband to get nominated for
- 50:18concussion. So that, you know, that was that
- 50:28was a pretty good bit. That is.
- 50:35And yeah that is basically a good summary of you know what
- 50:40happened in regards to the Will Smith, you know versus Chris
- 50:46Rock situation and their people on Twitter.
- 50:49Oh he should have talked about that, he shouldn't, you know,
- 50:52he's never put that in this special.
- 50:56Now he he deserved to go off, he deserve to put that in his
- 50:59special which, you know, the entirety of the special is
- 51:04pretty good. I didn't see the whole thing but
- 51:09I did see. I started watching last night
- 51:12and I believe that joke comes in more towards the end, but
- 51:16overall it's pretty good. So check out Selective outrage
- 51:22on Netflix if you have it, yeah. It's a good special.
- 51:30So anyway, our folks, I want to thank you all for tuning into
