- 1:10Speaker 4: How depressed are you?
- 1:12Speaker 2: Literally?
- 1:13Speaker 5: Good to see you too, all right?
- 1:15Speaker 4: The other person that can't do anything for us, but

- 1:22Speaker 6: Yeah, like this one guy said, oh, yeah, you know
- 1:24Speaker 6: I was on the Food Network.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I just walked away from him. Yeah, oh my, I've
- 1:27Speaker 2: been there for seven years. I haven't seen my era.
- 1:33Speaker 4: It's just depressing. Like there's a lot of like people
- 1:35Speaker 4: here that are trying to get their podcasts off the ground,
- 1:39Speaker 4: and they're hoping to get a thousand downloads per episode,
- 1:43Speaker 4: and I'm like, oh my, I mean, we're doing way
- 1:46Speaker 4: better than that, and we're not happy, and they're we're
- 1:49Speaker 4: not happy.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I have nothing to do with this.
- 1:53Speaker 6: Our unhappiness coming from a completely different places.
- 1:57Speaker 4: I'm starting to realize that every single person is doing
- 2:00Speaker 4: podcast at this point, so so how do.
- 2:02Speaker 2: We rise to the top.
- 2:03Speaker 6: But you know what's funny is this is we're probably
- 2:06Speaker 6: the two only people here that people say hi do that.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Aren't wearing a fucking lanyard with like a.
- 2:12Speaker 6: Like a Wikipedia description on who they are, exactly Like
- 2:14Speaker 6: everyone's here staring at each other's lanyard's like they would
- 2:17Speaker 6: read it first.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Oh a big fan, Like no one knows anybody.
- 2:19Speaker 3: That's why I don't have a lambin in on it.
- 2:21Speaker 6: We don't need calm mat never wear a lamb No
- 2:23Speaker 6: I had something, you had four lambines.
- 2:28Speaker 2: His Glenn back tramp stamp is showing.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Stunt praying. It's Michael Pelka and you know he lives
- 2:39Speaker 3: in Delaware.
- 2:40Speaker 4: So he's like, oh, you guys are gonna be a philiate.
- 2:41Speaker 4: I want to come up and say hi to you. Right,
- 2:43Speaker 4: So he comes up and the first thing he does,
- 2:46Speaker 4: he's he signs it at registration a ship.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I'm such a fan.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Hey, buddy, grab a school.
- 2:54Speaker 7: I mean here, and I brought your shirt, I'll he.
- 2:58Speaker 3: So anyway, I got a interesting with stump up.
- 3:01Speaker 5: So he goes through.
- 3:02Speaker 4: He goes through a registration and then he starts grabbing
- 3:05Speaker 4: all the free swag.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Dude, he had everything I saw. He had a cup
- 3:09Speaker 2: holder fuck it up and for podcast, yeah exactly.
- 3:13Speaker 5: And then uh and then he and then he just
- 3:16Speaker 5: takes off. You know, he just took off.
- 3:19Speaker 3: I'm like, where'd you go?
- 3:20Speaker 5: We were supposed to go. There's like a tent city
- 3:21Speaker 5: here at City Hall.
- 3:22Speaker 2: I've never seen someone go out of the way to
- 3:24Speaker 2: miss all the fun stuff. No dinner. I rauphs. He
- 3:29Speaker 2: didn't do anything cool, even though he come to the seminar.
- 3:32Speaker 2: He literally came got a goodie bag. I just wandered
- 3:35Speaker 2: around into something fun happened. Then he split.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Well let me read the text from him, and I
- 3:39Speaker 4: think it was it. Hold on, give me one second,
- 3:41Speaker 4: ten CAGs. We're gonna get to you. Trust me, you
- 3:43Speaker 4: can just start jumping in with all this nonsense.
- 3:46Speaker 7: I'm just enjoying it.
- 3:48Speaker 5: Let me see. Uh all right, So I go, uh,
- 3:52Speaker 5: where did you go?
- 3:55Speaker 2: Billion dollar repo man?
- 3:57Speaker 5: So Carl, I go, I go to stump Ring. Where
- 3:59Speaker 5: did you go?
- 4:00Speaker 4: Oh? He sends me a bunch of pictures from the
- 4:02Speaker 4: panel thing we were on, which was another thing that
- 4:04Speaker 4: was a complete waste of time.
- 4:06Speaker 5: He goes, Robert took.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Me to Lowe's across the street to look for Carl,
- 4:10Speaker 4: and then he disappeared.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I got pissed at.
- 4:13Speaker 5: The rain and jumped on a train.
- 4:16Speaker 2: That's what he writes me. He's not normal.
- 4:18Speaker 5: I go, what do you mean he got pissed at
- 4:20Speaker 5: the rain and jumped on a train. I go, I
- 4:22Speaker 5: was hoping we'd hang out more. He goes, yeah, me too.
- 4:25Speaker 5: We'll do it again.
- 4:26Speaker 7: Do that again.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Then you were in the moment we were hanging out.
- 4:30Speaker 2: What's he coming to next? A model train?
- 4:32Speaker 4: X fell and then he goes, I fallen down a
- 4:35Speaker 4: Luscinda Williams and Tom waits.
- 4:37Speaker 5: Well, listener, Williams is a pretty cool artist.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Boom.
- 4:42Speaker 4: I understand, and I go respect love me some lissenda
- 4:44Speaker 4: and then he sends all these weird pictures of me, you,
- 4:47Speaker 4: me and you podcasting.
- 4:48Speaker 2: And he's gone, He's got to go to a mind doctor.
- 4:55Speaker 5: And then then I told Tim, I go, where are old?
- 4:59Speaker 5: Like we're all the celebrities.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Because I was told, you know, it would be a
- 5:03Speaker 3: good opportunity for you and Carl.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Literally Ken Cage is the most universe that's been here
- 5:07Speaker 2: for the whole week.
- 5:08Speaker 5: And he wasn't even invited.
- 5:10Speaker 3: I had to call him and get over here.
- 5:13Speaker 2: We have no one to talk to, said, it was
- 5:17Speaker 2: a celebrity desert.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 5:20Speaker 7: It's the bottom of the barrel, isn't it?
- 5:22Speaker 5: Asking me?
- 5:23Speaker 6: I mean, it was so little, so many unfamous people
- 5:25Speaker 6: here that someone came up to me like, are you funerk?
- 5:27Speaker 3: I'm like, nope, I took a lot of pictures to
- 5:29Speaker 3: be honest with you, and and uh with Tim.
- 5:32Speaker 4: Well know when the west Wood One people go, well,
- 5:34Speaker 4: you're actually the big get here, I'm like, I never
- 5:37Speaker 4: want to be in a place where I'm the big get.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Imagine what it feels like to be the secondary.
- 5:44Speaker 5: That's why I don't do these things. I never want
- 5:46Speaker 5: to be the big get.
- 5:47Speaker 3: I want to just kind of.
- 5:48Speaker 6: Finish stab some of the neck with a penn came
- 5:50Speaker 6: up to be like, you're the funny cook that does the.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Show with Opie. I'm like, I started shaking inside.
- 5:57Speaker 3: That's a funny cook, fucking cook like God.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Anyway, with that said, you can talk to kem Police.
- 6:03Speaker 2: I need to talk to someone famous.
- 6:04Speaker 8: I've had you know Ken Cage, right, love Kimpleage. Why
- 6:07Speaker 8: do you love Ken Caves? To think about who I am? Right,
- 6:11Speaker 8: think about how much I love shady shit. He makes
- 6:14Speaker 8: money stealing stuff?
- 6:16Speaker 5: Right, this is my Is it really stealing?
- 6:18Speaker 3: If they're not paying their bills?
- 6:20Speaker 2: Steal? It's still you need the same art.
- 6:22Speaker 6: You gotta be sneaky, you gotta be smart, you gotta
- 6:25Speaker 6: know how to get in and out of places. It's
- 6:27Speaker 6: like it's everything I want to be.
- 6:30Speaker 5: Yeah, but legal.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Well, Ken Cage is the star of Is it called
- 6:33Speaker 4: airplane Repo? I always forget the name.
- 6:35Speaker 7: Of the ship's airplane repo?
- 6:36Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 6:36Speaker 7: And where is it on Discovery?
- 6:38Speaker 5: Discovery? And I think you've already done.
- 6:40Speaker 7: Three seasons, right, Yeah? The fans want to get a fourth,
- 6:43Speaker 7: so they're doing the hashtag bring back Airplane Repo.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Oh, beautiful ash I got memory.
- 6:48Speaker 5: Oh fuck, we'll get our people to do it.
- 6:50Speaker 7: I'm happy to say. I brought your copy of the
- 6:51Speaker 7: book I wrote Dollar Repo Man, and you're prominently listed
- 6:56Speaker 7: in the book several times.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Really, well, can you just tell me what pa, so
- 7:00Speaker 3: I don't have to read the.
- 7:01Speaker 7: Whole time on purpose? Did not pages so you couldn't
- 7:04Speaker 7: do that.
- 7:05Speaker 5: Oh he's smart.
- 7:09Speaker 3: So now I got to read the whole book and
- 7:11Speaker 3: then I can mention that.
- 7:12Speaker 5: But how did you mention me in the book?
- 7:14Speaker 7: Well, I mean, you know we've talked before. I was
- 7:16Speaker 7: a huge fan of your show back on ninety four
- 7:18Speaker 7: YSP back here and feeling back in what was that
- 7:20Speaker 7: the nineties, early two thousands, and I've just always followed you.
- 7:24Speaker 7: So when you invited me up to do your show,
- 7:25Speaker 7: it was like, you know, one of the highlights of
- 7:27Speaker 7: my life, right wow, Well you know that I told
- 7:31Speaker 7: you that before. Even though you're an Islander fan.
- 7:32Speaker 4: It's still could not as much with them trading, uh
- 7:36Speaker 4: not trading, but didn't they didn't re sign Ta Varies.
- 7:39Speaker 4: I understand Tavaria's leaving. I mean he gave him enough
- 7:41Speaker 4: years to try to figure out the organization and so
- 7:44Speaker 4: now he's gonna go and win a Stanley Cup somewhere else.
- 7:47Speaker 2: You watch a little hocking talk Carl.
- 7:49Speaker 4: Sarten, They're set, Yeah, break bring Do you hear a
- 7:53Speaker 4: lot of people just babbling even probing?
- 7:57Speaker 3: They're not even talking into microphones.
- 7:59Speaker 5: Why I have a conversation if you're not recording?
- 8:01Speaker 6: Because once, once Westwood One told them A thousand was successful,
- 8:04Speaker 6: they stopped trying.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Now they're just basking in their glory of there a
- 8:08Speaker 2: thousands follow.
- 8:09Speaker 7: Through your worst nightmare, a hipster convention with a bunch
- 8:14Speaker 7: of backback.
- 8:15Speaker 4: I'm confused in a lot of ways because i really
- 8:19Speaker 4: love doing this, but I'm realizing my fellow podcasters are zeros,
- 8:25Speaker 4: and I'm supposed to be supportive because it's a really
- 8:27Speaker 4: tight niche community.
- 8:28Speaker 3: What I don't like about them is they're too happy.
- 8:31Speaker 4: You can't put on a good radio show or a
- 8:34Speaker 4: good podcast, or or a TV project or reality show.
- 8:38Speaker 5: If you're happy, go lucky.
- 8:40Speaker 4: You gotta have a little angst in yet, a little
- 8:43Speaker 4: spie and Carl's kite is the best emotion.
- 8:45Speaker 2: And one thing I've learned in life. Anyone who looks happy,
- 8:48Speaker 2: he's a mother, right. Those are the people that are
- 8:51Speaker 2: truly happy, you know what I mean, like they got
- 8:53Speaker 2: away with something, bag or something. This is fake happy.
- 8:56Speaker 2: These people are devastating inside.
- 8:57Speaker 5: They're all sitting around looking at each other like what
- 8:59Speaker 5: are we successful? I'll tell you why.
- 9:01Speaker 4: First of all, you don't have a recording device in
- 9:03Speaker 4: front of you where you're trying to make something happen
- 9:05Speaker 4: at the podcast movement.
- 9:07Speaker 2: One thing that's been irking me at the.
- 9:08Speaker 6: Podcast or even is people putting nicknames on their lanyards
- 9:13Speaker 6: or adding flair like a pin something to their name
- 9:17Speaker 6: tag on their lanyard.
- 9:18Speaker 5: It makes me blind with rage.
- 9:23Speaker 9: I was in the in the elevator just shaking this
- 9:26Speaker 9: guy have like a happy face and prayer hand emoji
- 9:29Speaker 9: pins on his lanyard pass. I wanted to wrap it
- 9:32Speaker 9: around his neck and just finish him right down.
- 9:34Speaker 3: My god, that just proves that they're actually not happy people.
- 9:38Speaker 6: You know that, right, anybody that puts flair around your
- 9:40Speaker 6: fucking name, it's devastated it.
- 9:42Speaker 3: So it's fake happiness.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Yeah. Oh, these people just babbling over year babbel babble,
- 9:48Speaker 4: babble babble.
- 9:50Speaker 5: Yes, I'm talking about you, and you don't even know
- 9:52Speaker 5: because you're not even aware of method. That's here we go.
- 9:56Speaker 3: That's another that's another thing you.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Need if you're gonna be successful at radio, a podcast, podcasting.
- 10:02Speaker 5: An awareness.
- 10:05Speaker 2: You Ken, how did you start?
- 10:08Speaker 5: I want to talk to Ken?
- 10:09Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 10:10Speaker 4: I actually, can we go back to a big fan?
- 10:12Speaker 4: You did my show and I mentioned in the book
- 10:14Speaker 4: in what way I'm really curious.
- 10:15Speaker 5: I will read the.
- 10:16Speaker 7: Book because I'm just a normal guy from Philly. So
- 10:20Speaker 7: for me when the show hit, you know, to be
- 10:22Speaker 7: able to see and meet some of the people that
- 10:23Speaker 7: I always brought and really enjoy it. So it was
- 10:26Speaker 7: a big deal. You know how big ninety three three is,
- 10:28Speaker 7: and this in Philly, right, so going there was huge,
- 10:32Speaker 7: and not doing your show was hug dude, there were
- 10:33Speaker 7: two the two coolest things I did, because one was
- 10:36Speaker 7: something I grew up with and then something I was
- 10:39Speaker 7: just such a fan of you. It was like I
- 10:40Speaker 7: could never get the bumper stick or the Wow bumper sticker.
- 10:43Speaker 7: It jow me crazy.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Is it getting louder down?
- 10:47Speaker 2: You're gonna have to.
- 10:50Speaker 3: We're doing a real thing here.
- 10:54Speaker 7: It's a microphone right there.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Holy, this is a microphone and it's on you know
- 11:04Speaker 5: what step one.
- 11:05Speaker 2: When you see someone with.
- 11:06Speaker 4: A microphone on, either join the conversation or shut the
- 11:09Speaker 4: fuck up.
- 11:10Speaker 2: You know it's funny. Is the hardest place to do
- 11:13Speaker 2: the podcast is that the podcast moos? Isn't it nuts?
- 11:16Speaker 7: Shouldn't everybody know what's going on? No one podcasts here?
- 11:21Speaker 4: Fans of podcasts, what wouldn't you set up your equipment
- 11:25Speaker 4: and try to get a podcast done?
- 11:27Speaker 5: It's called podcast movement. Hope.
- 11:31Speaker 2: I think this is your last day in the podcast.
- 11:33Speaker 2: You're gonna be shutting down.
- 11:34Speaker 3: I've never come back here.
- 11:37Speaker 2: He's good. I will come back because it's Philly and
- 11:40Speaker 2: the food.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Well, we'll come back for another reason.
- 11:42Speaker 5: We don't really, we don't need this.
- 11:44Speaker 2: I love Philip, Philly is the is the New New York. Yeah.
- 11:47Speaker 4: And then the guy that's in charge of the podcasting
- 11:49Speaker 4: for Westwood One, who's a dear friend of mine, speaking
- 11:52Speaker 4: of y s P. Tim Sabian. He's a legend down
- 11:54Speaker 4: here at Philly Radio. So he goes out to dinner
- 11:58Speaker 4: with us. He's just a babbling mess.
- 12:00Speaker 5: Right, we're not getting anything done, which is fine whatever.
- 12:03Speaker 5: We're after hours.
- 12:04Speaker 4: And then me and Carl and Nick Hilarius were outside Ralphs,
- 12:07Speaker 4: which is a legendary restaurant here in Philly. By the way,
- 12:10Speaker 4: the food is awesome and austin and old school, nothing
- 12:13Speaker 4: fancy inside.
- 12:15Speaker 5: This is something I learned from Carl.
- 12:16Speaker 4: You know, some of the best places don't have a
- 12:19Speaker 4: lot of bells and whistles.
- 12:20Speaker 5: They're down and dirty. They got a simple menu.
- 12:23Speaker 4: They don't need fancy tables and chairs.
- 12:26Speaker 5: And art on the wall. They don't need the waterfall.
- 12:28Speaker 5: They just know cook really good food.
- 12:30Speaker 6: People will come and come back to the oldest continuous, continuously.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Run family restaurant in America. It's old, yeah, and it's
- 12:38Speaker 2: old for a reason. I mean especially Philadelphia.
- 12:41Speaker 6: Philadelphia's like Chicago, where it's it's got a blue, blue
- 12:44Speaker 6: collar vein running through it. This town doesn't take bullshit
- 12:48Speaker 6: like New York. I started in to a bullshit town
- 12:51Speaker 6: where it's Transien's.
- 12:53Speaker 5: People only lived there for five years.
- 12:54Speaker 2: They really don't care. They don't they don't vote, they
- 12:56Speaker 2: don't understand anything about Philly's real people from Philly. If
- 12:59Speaker 2: you will a nonsense restaurant here, it gets eating up
- 13:03Speaker 2: because the blue collar food you're so good. You go
- 13:06Speaker 2: to the Nicks, you go to John's, you get anywhere
- 13:08Speaker 2: and for ten bucks you can eat like a king.
- 13:12Speaker 2: And it's it's what New York used to be. This
- 13:14Speaker 2: is the eighties. This is like the New York in
- 13:15Speaker 2: the eighties.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Food's great and now in New York, if you're not
- 13:18Speaker 4: successful within two weeks, everyone panics and shuts down the
- 13:21Speaker 4: damn place.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Right, No our cops for good. You say something, you know,
- 13:24Speaker 2: I mean on somebody or so you're done. Yeah.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Yeah, So at the end of the last episode, we
- 13:29Speaker 4: got ah, that's yes, Drake, I'll keep trapping.
- 13:36Speaker 5: Open that bag a little more. I don't think that
- 13:39Speaker 5: test plucking.
- 13:40Speaker 7: Yes she is.
- 13:41Speaker 5: She's actually working hard. She's at least trying to do something.
- 13:44Speaker 5: I don't know what are these people trying to do.
- 13:46Speaker 4: So at the end of the last episode, you know,
- 13:48Speaker 4: Tim is just stepping all over what we're trying to accomplish.
- 13:52Speaker 4: Outside Ralphs, He's picking up construction cones and screaming all
- 13:57Speaker 4: this nonsense, and then he panics. The next day he goes,
- 13:59Speaker 4: you got to take all of that out. I'm an
- 14:01Speaker 4: executive for Westwood One. I'm like, I'm keeping every second
- 14:04Speaker 4: in right. Next time, learn your lesson. You should understand
- 14:07Speaker 4: how this works, right, Yeah, right, so Ken Cage, Yes.
- 14:11Speaker 5: Sir, so, yeah you got.
- 14:14Speaker 4: You got to explain once again, how how you got
- 14:16Speaker 4: into the whole repo business.
- 14:17Speaker 7: Well, we bought the business. Honestly, it was forty years old,
- 14:23Speaker 7: was tired of work for Corporate America. A good friend
- 14:26Speaker 7: of mine, Bob Weeks, and I were kind of in
- 14:27Speaker 7: the same place. So we said, it's by a company,
- 14:29Speaker 7: and this one just kept coming back at us as
- 14:32Speaker 7: the right one. So we didn't really know what we
- 14:34Speaker 7: were doing. We thought we had a clue. We had
- 14:36Speaker 7: no clue, but we bought the business, and thirteen years later,
- 14:39Speaker 7: we're still kicking it.
- 14:40Speaker 5: But I mean, were you repoing before that for somebody else?
- 14:43Speaker 7: I worked for christ first, No, yeah, I was. I
- 14:45Speaker 7: wasn't doing the repo when I was doing the collections
- 14:48Speaker 7: for Chrystlo Financial and hireing repo guys to go pick
- 14:51Speaker 7: them up. So I was in the business. And then
- 14:53Speaker 7: before that I was at JP Morgan doing banking, so
- 14:56Speaker 7: I kind of understood the financial side of it. I
- 14:59Speaker 7: had no clue what I is doing, right, That's why that's.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Why you survived. Knowing the financial side of business is
- 15:05Speaker 2: really really important. You can always high your muscle, you know.
- 15:09Speaker 6: But like in the restaurant business, the people that get
- 15:12Speaker 6: the financial side are the ones that survived, the people
- 15:15Speaker 6: that just do.
- 15:16Speaker 5: Oh, I love it.
- 15:16Speaker 7: I do because I love it. You're God, help me.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Just let it go. That's something like these podcasters.
- 15:24Speaker 7: They just love it. They have no clue what they're doing,
- 15:26Speaker 7: just love it.
- 15:27Speaker 3: These lady's talking with their hands. No one cares what
- 15:29Speaker 3: you're saying. They don't care.
- 15:32Speaker 2: You're you're triggered. You're literally you're snowflake triggered because everyone's
- 15:39Speaker 2: twelve year old a Fortnite playing fortnite.
- 15:41Speaker 7: Man, don't even start. My kids, My kids play that,
- 15:44Speaker 7: and will your kids as the boys are sixteen and fourteen?
- 15:47Speaker 4: Okay, because my oh why why yeah, of course, take
- 15:50Speaker 4: a picture of her.
- 15:52Speaker 5: We're the big stars here, ma'am.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Do you realize that?
- 15:54Speaker 5: Turn around? Look, excuse me, take a picture of them. Yeah,
- 15:58Speaker 5: thank you, we're big stars.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Sure, yeah, all right, thank you.
- 16:03Speaker 5: You know we're big stars, right, you don't know. Jesus,
- 16:06Speaker 5: she doesn't even.
- 16:07Speaker 7: Know he's superstar and radio.
- 16:15Speaker 5: Take a picture of so this.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Is legit to me.
- 16:21Speaker 7: No, we don't do that, all right.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Thank you?
- 16:31Speaker 10: All right, See now you gotta stop definition money shot
- 16:37Speaker 10: all right anyway, because he's interesting and he actually he
- 16:41Speaker 10: has his career that's going upwards, so we should.
- 16:43Speaker 2: We should listen to him.
- 16:44Speaker 4: But I'm fascinated by the fact that, you know, you
- 16:47Speaker 4: got to have balls to just sneak on someone's property
- 16:50Speaker 4: and reap all of this ship.
- 16:52Speaker 5: When did you realize you.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Could do that job?
- 16:54Speaker 7: When we bought the business and I had four hungry
- 16:56Speaker 7: kids at home, and I said, I either do it
- 16:58Speaker 7: or I fail.
- 16:59Speaker 5: So you weren't short for that, not actually step up
- 17:01Speaker 5: and do it right?
- 17:02Speaker 2: Right?
- 17:02Speaker 7: You just know I had done a lot of goofy
- 17:05Speaker 7: things like getting onto the fields and getting into basketball courts.
- 17:07Speaker 7: You know then you're not supposed to do it, so
- 17:09Speaker 7: kind of felt like I could do it right. I
- 17:11Speaker 7: know it's not a direct correlation, but I had gone
- 17:14Speaker 7: into places a million times before I wasn't supposed to
- 17:16Speaker 7: be and it wasn't a big deal. So yeah, I
- 17:18Speaker 7: was scared to death past.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Summon did it?
- 17:20Speaker 3: So tell us some of you guy to tell us
- 17:22Speaker 3: a couple of stories, some of the.
- 17:23Speaker 4: Good ones that either went bed or went really well,
- 17:26Speaker 4: or maybewhere in between. Yeah.
- 17:28Speaker 7: Well, one of my favorites. And there's a whole chapter
- 17:31Speaker 7: in the book about it. See I just segue there
- 17:34Speaker 7: nice okay, is I took a friend of mine who
- 17:38Speaker 7: was known as Grady, over to the Bahamas trying to
- 17:41Speaker 7: get one hundred and twenty foot yacht worth eight million bucks.
- 17:44Speaker 7: We go, we spot it, but we're waiting for the captain.
- 17:46Speaker 7: Captain comes over ship face drunk, so he can't move
- 17:49Speaker 7: this boat. We have to wait till the next morning. Dude,
- 17:52Speaker 7: we're gonna get at seven am sun up. Fine. Well,
- 17:54Speaker 7: of course he was drinking all night, so he's passed out,
- 17:57Speaker 7: and we see the boat leaving the channel, going to
- 17:59Speaker 7: the ocean, so like, oh, here we go. So I
- 18:02Speaker 7: go bang on the door. We kind of track it.
- 18:03Speaker 7: We know it's either going to Lauderdale or the other
- 18:05Speaker 7: side of the Bahamas. And long story short, we hop
- 18:08Speaker 7: on a plane and go to Lauderdale, get it. Bank
- 18:11Speaker 7: gives it back. Next morning, he runs again. We get
- 18:15Speaker 7: it three times. Every time he threw the rope over.
- 18:17Speaker 3: We were there to tie it up.
- 18:18Speaker 7: On the third time he wanted to run again, but
- 18:21Speaker 7: the captain's wife was on board and she said.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Screw this.
- 18:24Speaker 7: I'm out. These guys are weird. They're freaking me out.
- 18:26Speaker 7: I'm out. And once she quit, that was it. So
- 18:29Speaker 7: it took us from the Bahamas to Fort Lauderdale all throughout.
- 18:33Speaker 7: Three times the bank gave it back and each time
- 18:35Speaker 7: we were there to tie it.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Why were they Yeah, which was their bank?
- 18:37Speaker 7: They were scared to death of the debtor because he
- 18:39Speaker 7: had property and they were afraid that, you know, instead
- 18:42Speaker 7: of just being out the eight million or you know,
- 18:44Speaker 7: and then we would sell and get them some of
- 18:45Speaker 7: that back, they were afraid they would lose all the
- 18:47Speaker 7: properties too and be out twenty thirty million. And the
- 18:51Speaker 7: debtor's son was a known drug runner in South Florida.
- 18:54Speaker 7: He had all kinds of criminal records. They were scared
- 18:56Speaker 7: of death of him, so they just kept giving it back.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Wow.
- 19:00Speaker 7: So the third time we finally the bank didn't even
- 19:03Speaker 7: get that third call because the right the wife took off.
- 19:06Speaker 5: Well that leads to the next question. So, you know,
- 19:08Speaker 5: you repo these people's boats.
- 19:11Speaker 3: And cars and obviously planes airplane repot.
- 19:16Speaker 4: Are you ever scared they're gonna come come and try
- 19:18Speaker 4: to do something to you because they know you're you
- 19:20Speaker 4: were the one that.
- 19:21Speaker 7: Took their plane, you know what, not not personally, I
- 19:24Speaker 7: don't think that. I mean, at the time, they will,
- 19:27Speaker 7: uh and they have. But most of the people we
- 19:29Speaker 7: deal with are so wealthy they have their attorneys on
- 19:31Speaker 7: speed guys. So we have to deal with a lot
- 19:32Speaker 7: of egos. And you know, I can stay pretty cool.
- 19:36Speaker 7: I've done all kinds of neat stuff that I've learned
- 19:39Speaker 7: to stay calm, so I can kind of talk them
- 19:41Speaker 7: off the ledge. Yeah, but some I've been chased around
- 19:43Speaker 7: the field some guys. Some drunk dude in Arkansas had
- 19:46Speaker 7: a shovel. He was just swinging and chase what.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Were you repossessing in Arkansas.
- 19:50Speaker 7: The States of exactly the gist of craft airplane that
- 19:55Speaker 7: wasn't worth seven thousand dollars, but it was his dust. Yeah,
- 19:59Speaker 7: it was his dad's air laying and it was personal.
- 20:01Speaker 7: So he just started swinging and chasing us around the field.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Southern people with that. You take someone's dad ship in
- 20:06Speaker 2: the South and you got yourself again.
- 20:09Speaker 5: That was my daddy r he went over exactly.
- 20:13Speaker 7: It's absolutely you know, we've been chased down the Saint
- 20:16Speaker 7: John's River in Florida getting shot at. So yeah, yeah,
- 20:22Speaker 7: we and it was a Cuban national guy who was
- 20:24Speaker 7: here illegally apologized, So we took his one boat from
- 20:27Speaker 7: behind his house. We're getting towed because of the tide
- 20:31Speaker 7: was too low. Well, he had another boat back there.
- 20:34Speaker 7: About an hour later, we're on the river. We're still
- 20:35Speaker 7: getting towed. You see that other boat coming nose up.
- 20:39Speaker 7: So we called him may Day in to the coast guard.
- 20:43Speaker 7: But in the meantime he's popping and he's trying to
- 20:45Speaker 7: get us. So now we got to get the towboat
- 20:48Speaker 7: to go as quick as he can because we don't
- 20:49Speaker 7: have the motors running. Luckily, the coast guard cut him off.
- 20:53Speaker 7: Next thing I know, he no longer was running that
- 20:55Speaker 7: car dealership or car shop he had in Jacksonville.
- 20:58Speaker 5: He was gone.
- 20:58Speaker 7: He went home.
- 20:59Speaker 2: He went home, You went home. Wow, humans Cubans get
- 21:03Speaker 2: very upset.
- 21:04Speaker 7: Oh, he was an arrogant jerky earlier in the day.
- 21:07Speaker 7: He was just like smug about it. I mean, he
- 21:09Speaker 7: wasn't even his boat. They were just park back there,
- 21:11Speaker 7: and he's you'll never find it, Okay, I'll have to
- 21:15Speaker 7: find it.
- 21:15Speaker 4: So I mean, you're obviously repoeing the boats. You know,
- 21:19Speaker 4: you're you're hitching him to some kind of vehicle.
- 21:22Speaker 5: But you also, oh, you.
- 21:25Speaker 7: See, yeah, because we've had people that tie the.
- 21:30Speaker 4: No, I'm an idiot because I'm thinking my question is
- 21:33Speaker 4: going to be, how do you hot wire these things
- 21:34Speaker 4: to fucking get him started and get out of there?
- 21:36Speaker 4: But I'm assuming, I'm assuming sometimes you've got to do
- 21:39Speaker 4: that because you don't have as much time to you know,
- 21:41Speaker 4: to get a.
- 21:42Speaker 7: Rope on it right, and sometimes seat can't Like you know,
- 21:45Speaker 7: we did one off the Massachusetts this week and the
- 21:47Speaker 7: seatow guy's like, yeah, I'll be there sometimes tomorrow. I'm like, dude,
- 21:50Speaker 7: I need it today. So we had to find a captain.
- 21:52Speaker 7: Luckily the captain knew where to get a spare key
- 21:55Speaker 7: for it.
- 21:55Speaker 4: But wait, so you get the captain on your side
- 21:58Speaker 4: because he doesn't own the captain right, no wear our
- 22:01Speaker 4: cast but do you ever get the captain of that
- 22:03Speaker 4: actual boat for the times going, Look, we got to
- 22:06Speaker 4: take this thing, and we can either do it the
- 22:08Speaker 4: easy way the hard one.
- 22:08Speaker 7: Exactly get paid right or not. Either way, I'm taking
- 22:12Speaker 7: the boat right. So they're like, all right, I'll get
- 22:14Speaker 7: my money. Yeah, And same with the pilots. We've had
- 22:17Speaker 7: a couple of people I mean, they'll charge us a lot.
- 22:18Speaker 7: But the bank's like, you know, from three million dollars plane, Yeah,
- 22:21Speaker 7: I'll end to spend one thousand bucks for a pilot.
- 22:23Speaker 5: What's the nicest plane you ever?
- 22:26Speaker 7: It was an almost brand new gulf Stream G one fifty.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Oh that's a pretty nice fucking point.
- 22:30Speaker 7: It was worth about twelve twelve million. Yeah, that was gorgeous.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Did you get to fly in it?
- 22:36Speaker 7: No, pushing you off. I was in the middle California
- 22:39Speaker 7: and they're like, yeah, we're gonna leave it there. We're
- 22:41Speaker 7: quiet land some of it. So yeah, I had to
- 22:43Speaker 7: drive out of Central.
- 22:44Speaker 6: Florida and where do you You're like, all right, so
- 22:46Speaker 6: say you can take this plane. Where do you take
- 22:48Speaker 6: the plane? The bank doesn't have a plane parking lote.
- 22:51Speaker 7: No, we have an office down in Orlando at the
- 22:54Speaker 7: Executive Airport there, so we take as many as we
- 22:57Speaker 7: can do the Executive Airport. We also have keep a
- 22:59Speaker 7: lot of planes at Houston Hobby Airport, so we have
- 23:02Speaker 7: different airports throughout the country.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Does anyone ever try to steal ship back from they have?
- 23:06Speaker 7: Yeah, we had one guy. We took Tuskegee, you know
- 23:08Speaker 7: where the airmen are. We took an old beach aircraft.
- 23:12Speaker 7: He also had a fighter jet.
- 23:13Speaker 5: The boots he had a fighter jet.
- 23:16Speaker 7: He owned a fighter jet.
- 23:17Speaker 2: We reached, so he took stuff from Jason Bourne more
- 23:20Speaker 2: or less.
- 23:21Speaker 7: Yeah, so we took the fighter jet. Then the other
- 23:24Speaker 7: plane next to it breaks are bad, couldn't fly it.
- 23:26Speaker 7: So we talked to the maintenance guy and like, fix
- 23:29Speaker 7: the brakes, we'll pay whatever it is, we'll get it
- 23:31Speaker 7: in a week. Well, he calls us in a week,
- 23:33Speaker 7: goes by the way, your planes missing. Well, he knew
- 23:35Speaker 7: the owner and he let him take it. We tracked
- 23:38Speaker 7: the flight. He went from there to Montgomery, Alabama, and
- 23:41Speaker 7: then he tracked the flight to Destin, Florid. So we
- 23:44Speaker 7: had the cops and Deston waiting for him, and he landed.
- 23:46Speaker 7: Cops around to the airplane, yanked him out, and we
- 23:49Speaker 7: took the plane back.
- 23:51Speaker 3: And now he's in trouble for stealing.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's grand, theft of his own thing. That's
- 23:56Speaker 2: not your problem.
- 23:57Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly, that's not your problem.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Some of the players.
- 24:01Speaker 5: You fly right out of it, out of the situation.
- 24:02Speaker 7: Oh yeah, I need to talk tomorrow.
- 24:04Speaker 2: It's legal to have a fighter jet.
- 24:06Speaker 5: Yeah, as long as it's not armed.
- 24:08Speaker 7: I gets exactly. Yeah, there's a lot of Honestly, I
- 24:12Speaker 7: don't remember. It was a sixties jet.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Of some sort that to maintain. I mean, it's gotta
- 24:17Speaker 2: being it's not as.
- 24:19Speaker 7: Geared up as as you're thinking with the military jets.
- 24:22Speaker 7: It's a real stripped down version, but it still has
- 24:24Speaker 7: the same look. But it's not nearly as expensive to
- 24:27Speaker 7: maintains as the military the true military inaction jets. Wow,
- 24:31Speaker 7: but it's cool looking and then the cockpit still comes.
- 24:34Speaker 5: Over the top and your old jet stuff.
- 24:36Speaker 4: Oh it's cool as to big talk about the adrenaline
- 24:39Speaker 4: rush when you're you know, you're taking someone's plane and
- 24:41Speaker 4: you got to take off with it.
- 24:43Speaker 2: You know what.
- 24:44Speaker 7: There's so there was one time in Jersey. Of course
- 24:46Speaker 7: it's Jersey there, Welcome to Jersey, exactly. Cops always show
- 24:49Speaker 7: up at Jersey, which is fine. But we take an
- 24:52Speaker 7: airplane out of the flight school. All of a sudden,
- 24:55Speaker 7: the owner of the the airport comes and it's an
- 24:58Speaker 7: old Italian guy in Jersey. You get where, I'm done
- 25:01Speaker 7: with this. So we take the airplane, you know, and
- 25:04Speaker 7: we're at the threshold. We're running it out to make sure.
- 25:06Speaker 2: It can fly.
- 25:07Speaker 7: All of a sudden, we see this white caddy coming
- 25:09Speaker 7: down again. How stereotypical there come and flying down the taxiway.
- 25:13Speaker 7: So we, you know, said whatever, We're just taking off.
- 25:17Speaker 7: As we take off, he ended up cutting in after us.
- 25:21Speaker 7: But the whole time, I'm thinking he could just cut
- 25:23Speaker 7: in and kill us, right, So it's like, you got
- 25:25Speaker 7: to get this off the air into the air fast,
- 25:28Speaker 7: and we did. We just flew it to the next airport,
- 25:30Speaker 7: which was a three minute flight. That's scary as all
- 25:32Speaker 7: get out. Okay, I've had some some real shady flights.
- 25:36Speaker 7: I can imaginee Like, you.
- 25:40Speaker 3: Don't really know how it You know how to fly,
- 25:42Speaker 3: but yeah, you don't know how it was maintained.
- 25:44Speaker 5: If there's a little issue with this or that that
- 25:46Speaker 5: you have been just for ye.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Yeah, because first of all, if they're not paying for
- 25:50Speaker 2: the plane, they're not caring for the plane exactly.
- 25:52Speaker 6: So you're literally going up in the air with someone's
- 25:55Speaker 6: middle finger like they don't care anymore about this thing.
- 25:57Speaker 5: The only reason they care about is because you're in.
- 26:00Speaker 2: But not it's just sitting there right.
- 26:01Speaker 7: Right, And honestly, most people don't even know that they
- 26:03Speaker 7: can get refund, and that's the thing. So they're well,
- 26:07Speaker 7: how about this.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Have you ever been in a plane and realized right away, like,
- 26:10Speaker 4: ah shit, there was a real issue with this plane.
- 26:13Speaker 5: That you had no idea.
- 26:14Speaker 7: Yeah, that's the only had How'd you handle this? You
- 26:16Speaker 7: find the closest airport, which in most areas they're not
- 26:19Speaker 7: too far away, so then you can just put it
- 26:21Speaker 7: down in a couple of minutes. The one in Jersey
- 26:23Speaker 7: there was an airport three nine minutes away, so we
- 26:25Speaker 7: were able to put it down.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Do you think Sully could have made it back to
- 26:28Speaker 4: the airport or do you feel like he wanted to
- 26:31Speaker 4: be a rock star and laying that thing on? Are
- 26:33Speaker 4: you actually wanting to land that thing in the Hudson River?
- 26:36Speaker 4: I you know, but there's rumors that a lot of people,
- 26:39Speaker 4: I mean, there's haters no matter what you do. I mean,
- 26:41Speaker 4: in the end, the guy saved everyone's life, but then
- 26:43Speaker 4: you get the haters. This was more of a joke
- 26:45Speaker 4: question than anything. But there are people out there that
- 26:48Speaker 4: went he.
- 26:48Speaker 5: Just wanted to look like a rock star.
- 26:50Speaker 3: He had plenty of time to circle that ship back
- 26:52Speaker 3: to the airport.
- 26:53Speaker 7: There's no way. There's no way anybody would choose to
- 26:56Speaker 7: put it in the water.
- 26:57Speaker 2: That has it.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Man, we have some Oh right now they're doing shout outs.
- 27:05Speaker 5: That's great.
- 27:08Speaker 2: I don't know why my podcast is taken off them.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Followers are good.
- 27:13Speaker 5: I just simply don't understand.
- 27:16Speaker 2: This is a giant participation trophy.
- 27:20Speaker 5: I haven't seen one of these podcasters turn anything on.
- 27:22Speaker 3: What are you doing here?
- 27:24Speaker 5: You're not gonna learn anything from the seminars.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Hey, we're the ones doing the summer.
- 27:29Speaker 6: Every every question they would ask, they would ask a
- 27:31Speaker 6: good questions and he would literally just to look at
- 27:33Speaker 6: the at the person, and.
- 27:35Speaker 7: You know what, that's a great question.
- 27:36Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 27:42Speaker 5: You don't what would have to think about that one?
- 27:44Speaker 7: Oh?
- 27:45Speaker 5: Oh my god, I wouldn't. I'm not here to learn
- 27:47Speaker 5: about how these people can teach money.
- 27:50Speaker 2: Would you call those the handle bar?
- 27:53Speaker 5: They finger? The Raleigh fingers?
- 27:55Speaker 2: Here? Look at that?
- 27:56Speaker 4: How much attention do you need that you have a mustache?
- 27:58Speaker 4: Like he's ten feet away? Oh my god, I ask
- 28:05Speaker 4: him where the baby bones are? Are you trying to
- 28:08Speaker 4: look like the iron cheke or what he looks like?
- 28:12Speaker 2: Your iron cheek?
- 28:13Speaker 7: I who cares?
- 28:13Speaker 6: I know you don't care because it's me and Ken
- 28:15Speaker 6: are gonna have to fight, right, You're just gonna throw.
- 28:17Speaker 2: That pod MiCT.
- 28:19Speaker 5: No one recognizes me. So I'm gonna throw a handlebar mustache,
- 28:23Speaker 5: and I'm gonna wax the tips and curl them just
- 28:25Speaker 5: right then. People are gonna start staring at me.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 28:31Speaker 5: So what was the other thing? Oh?
- 28:35Speaker 4: So?
- 28:35Speaker 7: Uh?
- 28:36Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 28:36Speaker 3: Where does the ship and the urinego when you flush
- 28:39Speaker 3: that toilet in a plane?
- 28:41Speaker 7: Oh gosh, yeah, they handle it. The airport handles that
- 28:45Speaker 7: all for.
- 28:47Speaker 3: I thought, I thought, you just will lease it into
- 28:50Speaker 3: the air Some some of.
- 28:52Speaker 7: The airport era, the commercial airplanes did that. I don't
- 28:55Speaker 7: know if you heard about. That was a year or
- 28:56Speaker 7: two ago. They were releasing it. And then all these
- 28:58Speaker 7: houses had.
- 28:59Speaker 4: Blue eyes they called blue ice or it's a chunk
- 29:02Speaker 4: of blue ice that goes crashing through their roofs.
- 29:04Speaker 7: Yeah, it was nasty. Yeah, it's supposed to get handled
- 29:08Speaker 7: in the air.
- 29:08Speaker 4: Wait, so they were trying to why would why would
- 29:10Speaker 4: they do that? I mean, is it that much of
- 29:12Speaker 4: a big deal to wait until you land to get
- 29:13Speaker 4: rid of the waste.
- 29:14Speaker 7: Honestly, I don't know if they did it on purpose.
- 29:16Speaker 7: They might have, but it's a lot of weight and
- 29:18Speaker 7: obviously the light of the plane the better the filt,
- 29:20Speaker 7: effish and light.
- 29:22Speaker 5: So they were trying to sneak that by everybody.
- 29:25Speaker 7: It seems like it. It seems like it for sure.
- 29:29Speaker 7: That's right, start right, help do.
- 29:33Speaker 5: A little slow pan while we podcast. We can to
- 29:36Speaker 5: you want to say you've got it.
- 29:39Speaker 7: Anyway, here you go a little picture for the kid,
- 29:47Speaker 7: no idea who you are?
- 29:48Speaker 3: That wasn't even really he probably doesn't know who I am.
- 29:50Speaker 7: And that's right.
- 29:51Speaker 2: You know, he knows you're podcast.
- 29:54Speaker 7: Everybody is.
- 29:56Speaker 2: That's stung.
- 29:56Speaker 7: I can feel that.
- 29:57Speaker 5: That's not He's going to go back to his friends.
- 30:00Speaker 4: So what you do?
- 30:01Speaker 5: I filmed some up and coming podcasters. I know, I
- 30:05Speaker 5: don't know who I was filming.
- 30:06Speaker 2: He looked at Hope. He's like that guy define has
- 30:08Speaker 2: at least two thousands. He's doubled it this week.
- 30:12Speaker 5: I'll forget it.
- 30:15Speaker 7: You only had two thousand people listening.
- 30:17Speaker 5: Yeah, he would not be doing this. We're doing very well.
- 30:20Speaker 3: We want to be doing even better, but we're.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Happy with where this is.
- 30:23Speaker 6: So it's funny with the podcast community is they're okay
- 30:27Speaker 6: with slow growth, and that's something you got to learn.
- 30:30Speaker 6: I mean, you gotta really learn.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Podcasts grow in a different way than a radio show
- 30:34Speaker 2: or something like that. It's so different, and they're fine.
- 30:37Speaker 2: I mean some of these people shouldn't be doing podcasting
- 30:39Speaker 2: some of it. There's one about.
- 30:40Speaker 5: Leaves that was really weird.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Yeah, you meet somebody would have been, Oh, she's cute.
- 30:45Speaker 7: See the one girl with the Superwoman outfit with one
- 30:49Speaker 7: leg missing, and she watched she had one leg, No,
- 30:53Speaker 7: she had the outfit was missed.
- 30:55Speaker 5: She had a leg.
- 30:55Speaker 7: She had two legs, but one blue fabric the leg
- 30:59Speaker 7: when yeah, the faver went down one leg, not the
- 31:01Speaker 7: other leg. So she's all hanging out the one side.
- 31:03Speaker 5: And oh, I thought she had a fake leg.
- 31:05Speaker 2: That rocks awesome.
- 31:07Speaker 7: I didn't mean to teach you like that.
- 31:09Speaker 2: I likes.
- 31:13Speaker 3: I mean, seriously, I got an amputee story.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Oh you don't.
- 31:18Speaker 5: I really do have a story.
- 31:19Speaker 2: You want to hear it? I mean, we can't stop it.
- 31:23Speaker 4: So back in the day, Bill O'Reilly wanted us on
- 31:26Speaker 4: his his TV show, you know, The No Spin Zone,
- 31:28Speaker 4: and then he spun us round and round until we
- 31:30Speaker 4: fucking puked from being dizzy.
- 31:32Speaker 5: But his show's called the No Spin Zone.
- 31:34Speaker 2: And I'm gonna have to have you be Pope hopey story.
- 31:38Speaker 4: So, setting up for the big interview with Bill O'Reilly,
- 31:40Speaker 4: they had one of these producers come in, right, and
- 31:44Speaker 4: she was very attracted to the key. Yeah, So she
- 31:49Speaker 4: came in day after day to do the pre interview
- 31:51Speaker 4: and and do b roll and all that.
- 31:53Speaker 3: So we were hanging out with her, and then after
- 31:55Speaker 3: the show, we were drinking with her and all this.
- 31:57Speaker 4: Right and anyway, I had a girlfriend at the time,
- 32:00Speaker 4: so I didn't go there, but I came close, and
- 32:04Speaker 4: I'll be I gotta tell you the story. So so
- 32:07Speaker 4: now we're doing a signing at Hooters on fifty sixth
- 32:10Speaker 4: Street and she came to get b roll.
- 32:12Speaker 3: At that moment, after knowing her for a couple of
- 32:15Speaker 3: weeks and her hanging out.
- 32:16Speaker 4: With us, I look over to her and I realized
- 32:19Speaker 4: she's got a fake fucking arm with a bracelet on it.
- 32:22Speaker 3: So I tap Anthony on on the leg like dude, dud, dude,
- 32:26Speaker 3: look and Anthony's face and.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Then everyone on my staff on the show we all
- 32:33Speaker 4: realized at the same moment at Hooters that she was
- 32:35Speaker 4: hiding her fake arm from us all that time.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Was she hiding it or she was flunking it.
- 32:41Speaker 5: How do you not notice what I mean when she's
- 32:43Speaker 5: in the studio in a pocket.
- 32:45Speaker 3: I don't know how she did.
- 32:46Speaker 4: But none of us are like walking around like Napoleon.
- 32:50Speaker 4: It looks like a mannequin arm.
- 32:51Speaker 2: It's really creepy. It's creepy.
- 32:53Speaker 5: They don't bother me one bit. They got the leg
- 32:56Speaker 5: thing figured out.
- 32:56Speaker 2: But they don't have the arm thing figured out. I
- 32:59Speaker 2: think that's kind of erotic.
- 33:00Speaker 3: So anyway, and she was she was pretty I need,
- 33:04Speaker 3: she was pretty sexy.
- 33:05Speaker 4: So I find myself after one of these nights drinking,
- 33:11Speaker 4: We're on a rooftop in the village with her, and
- 33:13Speaker 4: she invites me down to her apartment. And I was
- 33:16Speaker 4: in a bad relationship, so I'm like, I'm thinking about it.
- 33:19Speaker 4: I'll be honest, I was thinking about it.
- 33:21Speaker 2: So I go down to her house. That's all we
- 33:22Speaker 2: think about. I get away with this? Can I get
- 33:24Speaker 2: away with this? Kenny? That's my whole life is can
- 33:26Speaker 2: I get away?
- 33:27Speaker 5: It was still innocent.
- 33:28Speaker 4: I go down to her apartment and all her roommates
- 33:30Speaker 4: are are high as shit listening to Pink Floyd on
- 33:34Speaker 4: and it's really dark with a couple of candles lit,
- 33:37Speaker 4: and I'm like, what the fuck's going on here? Because
- 33:38Speaker 4: she the excuse was I gotta get something from my
- 33:40Speaker 4: apartment or whatever.
- 33:41Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, you know, we're all hanging out. So
- 33:43Speaker 3: next thing I know, I hear her call my name
- 33:46Speaker 3: from her room. Right, so I opened a door.
- 33:48Speaker 2: It's the bathroom.
- 33:49Speaker 4: She's in the bathtub, completely naked with her arm off.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Oh no, so out of the ridiculousness of the.
- 33:58Speaker 5: Situation, I'm really hot and cold about this all thing.
- 34:02Speaker 4: The rest of her body, the rest of her body
- 34:04Speaker 4: was really nice, I mean really nice.
- 34:07Speaker 2: Yeah, right, everything, everything was all right. How bad was
- 34:09Speaker 2: you on? Was it like a little shruck on about it?
- 34:12Speaker 4: It was above the elbow high and she took it
- 34:14Speaker 4: off and she had candles lit. She was setting the mood.
- 34:16Speaker 2: She's like, I don't want to get it wet. Was
- 34:18Speaker 2: it wood?
- 34:19Speaker 3: It was plastic?
- 34:19Speaker 4: Like kel said, they really are like mannekin on. I
- 34:22Speaker 4: didn't she just leave it so leave it on.
- 34:25Speaker 3: I think she was feeling comfortable, like this is me,
- 34:27Speaker 3: you know, and let's get it on.
- 34:30Speaker 6: So you're a dumpster full of weird emotions and innuendoes
- 34:34Speaker 6: and questions.
- 34:35Speaker 7: She's about to find out she's about to see hope.
- 34:38Speaker 2: He literally turned into a brain bel that. He went
- 34:40Speaker 2: full spectrum in there.
- 34:42Speaker 6: You're kind of right home touching his you know, he
- 34:45Speaker 6: has all these tells, and he starts touching his featulean,
- 34:47Speaker 6: and then he starts touching.
- 34:48Speaker 2: His beard and he pulls his ear.
- 34:51Speaker 5: So so I walk in candles lit.
- 34:54Speaker 4: She's in the tub, no bubble, so you can see everything,
- 34:57Speaker 4: and you're full everything, and I'm like, you can't looking
- 35:00Speaker 4: at the nub.
- 35:05Speaker 2: The room might as well be nothing.
- 35:07Speaker 5: In it in Olphie's mind the room.
- 35:09Speaker 2: But the room was a blank canvas and half of
- 35:11Speaker 2: an arm.
- 35:12Speaker 5: So so yeah, there was some thoughts going on in
- 35:15Speaker 5: my head.
- 35:15Speaker 4: And unfortunately the thought of laughing hysterically one over every
- 35:20Speaker 4: other thought.
- 35:20Speaker 2: How is that even one of the options?
- 35:26Speaker 5: Because never meets your.
- 35:27Speaker 4: Idols, bro us, because the ridiculousness of the situation, that's
- 35:31Speaker 4: not ridiculous.
- 35:31Speaker 5: Yes, d was sexy, Yes, the pick floor music was trying.
- 35:36Speaker 2: How loud did you laugh? Show me how?
- 35:38Speaker 7: I just do it now?
- 35:44Speaker 5: And then I couldn't stop. She gets so mad. I'm like,
- 35:48Speaker 5: I can't do this.
- 35:49Speaker 4: I go, I just can't do this because I really
- 35:51Speaker 4: was still with somebody, right, how are you hey?
- 35:54Speaker 6: Watch she's gone good, we're podcasting, no problem, good, I'm
- 36:01Speaker 6: moving on all right.
- 36:01Speaker 5: Oh you're you're good, You're good.
- 36:05Speaker 3: I forgot her name already. Wasn't she on the podcast
- 36:07Speaker 3: panel with us?
- 36:08Speaker 4: Oh?
- 36:08Speaker 3: No, she was the cute she was the she was
- 36:12Speaker 3: the moderator.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Right, yes, people, did you hit your head? We only
- 36:16Speaker 2: did one thing.
- 36:16Speaker 7: You forgot arms, so he forgot about it.
- 36:20Speaker 5: There's here's good.
- 36:21Speaker 3: So I'm laughing hysterically. And then I can't stop laughing.
- 36:23Speaker 3: I and I I politely, It was like I can't.
- 36:27Speaker 2: I just can't do this.
- 36:27Speaker 3: And I laughed, and I saw my way out. She
- 36:31Speaker 3: got a bath robe on as quick.
- 36:32Speaker 4: As possible, and at the top of the stairs, soaking wet,
- 36:36Speaker 4: without an arm and a bathrobe on.
- 36:37Speaker 3: She's screaming at me, good.
- 36:40Speaker 4: Back here, and I'm laughing up at the stairs and
- 36:45Speaker 4: I'm looking at her at the top of the stairs,
- 36:48Speaker 4: and then I just I walked home, laughing at the
- 36:51Speaker 4: entire way.
- 36:53Speaker 7: You're thinking, I can't wait to tell Anthony Omar.
- 36:55Speaker 5: Oh yeah, we told this story of the air.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Oh oh yeah, that's that's God's honest truth.
- 37:00Speaker 4: Man. I just you know, I got the sexiness of it,
- 37:04Speaker 4: but I also got how this is so ridiculous.
- 37:07Speaker 2: I just wish I knew you were back and I
- 37:09Speaker 2: could follow you. Any situation is jump in at the
- 37:11Speaker 2: last second and close him for you. Because how hot
- 37:14Speaker 2: was she.
- 37:14Speaker 4: Scale one to ten she I mean, and she had well,
- 37:18Speaker 4: I mean, not that the arms she getting away.
- 37:21Speaker 3: She was probably good solid seven to eight esus.
- 37:24Speaker 2: Yeah, she was all right, and the arm brought her
- 37:25Speaker 2: back to all the way down to laugh.
- 37:27Speaker 5: Well, I got another story.
- 37:29Speaker 4: I'm not sure if we ever told this on the air,
- 37:31Speaker 4: but so we had an office in any w that
- 37:33Speaker 4: you know, it was like a clubhouse. So before the
- 37:36Speaker 4: show we were in there. After the show, we brought
- 37:38Speaker 4: everyone in there and we just continued because me and
- 37:40Speaker 4: Anthony at the time, we just didn't want to go
- 37:42Speaker 4: home to our significant others.
- 37:44Speaker 2: I was in a bad relationship, he.
- 37:45Speaker 3: Was in a bad, bad marriage whatever.
- 37:47Speaker 4: So we just hung out as long as we could
- 37:49Speaker 4: in the in the office, and she would hang out
- 37:51Speaker 4: with us. And this is another time where we should
- 37:53Speaker 4: probably know she had an arm, a fake arm. Anyway,
- 37:56Speaker 4: we had disposable cameras and I got I got the
- 38:00Speaker 4: film developed like way after she was gone and the
- 38:03Speaker 4: bill O'Reilly piece.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Aired and she was taking pictures that was snatched.
- 38:08Speaker 5: She would just go like this.
- 38:09Speaker 3: She was wearing a sun dress and one and the
- 38:13Speaker 3: time she did that, she had a.
- 38:15Speaker 2: String hanging out picture.
- 38:16Speaker 4: She she was having her period and had I guess
- 38:19Speaker 4: she forgot or thought it was covered. And because it
- 38:22Speaker 4: was a portable, you know, it was a disposable camera.
- 38:24Speaker 4: I mean, you know, she had no idea because nowadays
- 38:26Speaker 4: you can take a picture and check it. She's like, oh,
- 38:28Speaker 4: I'm gonna lead pictures of my snatch for him. You know,
- 38:31Speaker 4: this will get this will get him going. And we
- 38:33Speaker 4: got the pictures developed finally when we found this old
- 38:35Speaker 4: disposable like what the fuck is this?
- 38:37Speaker 3: And you know there were other pictures in there that
- 38:39Speaker 3: proved it was her and she was.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Taking pictures of her.
- 38:43Speaker 5: With a string hanging out.
- 38:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't see anything wrong with that. I have
- 38:48Speaker 2: no problems with that.
- 38:49Speaker 5: You would digging right.
- 38:51Speaker 2: There's very few things that can stop me. Police and
- 38:54Speaker 2: maybe death.
- 38:56Speaker 4: Maybe, and the smell, no problem. I'm there's nothing first
- 39:03Speaker 4: day of a period, no problem. That doesn't even phase me.
- 39:09Speaker 4: There's no have no point when I walk in and go, aha, you.
- 39:13Speaker 10: Could appreciate it, Okay, I just I can appreciate it.
- 39:16Speaker 6: I'm just trying to dig through all my emotions and
- 39:19Speaker 6: laughter is not even in the top thousand.
- 39:22Speaker 4: I think I was also a little like, just in
- 39:24Speaker 4: a weird way uncomfortable because I was like, what the
- 39:26Speaker 4: fuck is going on here?
- 39:27Speaker 2: So right?
- 39:28Speaker 3: Ah the mustache guys, finally.
- 39:31Speaker 2: Hope you let these people know you're like a fitful
- 39:34Speaker 2: Stop it. He's gonna say something.
- 39:36Speaker 6: Stop it alright, man, I'm just saying who you are,
- 39:39Speaker 6: Dan Leonard podcast Kiss Kiss.
- 39:42Speaker 5: I like your mustache. Thank you that this isn't gonna
- 39:46Speaker 5: help why because.
- 39:47Speaker 3: You can't, I mean unless I get rubbed my mustache
- 39:50Speaker 3: against it.
- 39:58Speaker 4: That was.
- 40:01Speaker 2: That was awesome man, Thank you. Now you don't have
- 40:02Speaker 2: to totally much.
- 40:06Speaker 4: For you. Nope, what oh you got the I am
- 40:10Speaker 4: I am the man from Nantucket shirt from our Nantucket
- 40:13Speaker 4: trying to meet you ladies. You know what, rolly fingers slash,
- 40:17Speaker 4: the iron cheek got the best of meaning, he got you.
- 40:21Speaker 3: I bowed you, sir, Bravo.
- 40:24Speaker 5: Now I got mustache wax on this podcast.
- 40:27Speaker 2: Order just a little flea jump onto the microphone. I
- 40:31Speaker 2: think it's all waxy. That's what that makes me laugh.
- 40:37Speaker 2: Seeing a hot girl in a tough doesn't make no.
- 40:41Speaker 5: I mean, I'm just trying to figure out where you
- 40:42Speaker 5: come from.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Where did you arrive to? Right, Kenny, I was a.
- 40:46Speaker 7: Little uncomfortable thing. I can totally get.
- 40:48Speaker 4: I was. I was a little lost to because you know,
- 40:50Speaker 4: my relationship at home wasn't going well, but it.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Wasn't officially over.
- 40:54Speaker 5: And honestly, I was a little attracted to the empty girl.
- 40:58Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 40:58Speaker 3: But the whole situation is it's so weird and just
- 41:01Speaker 3: out of left field.
- 41:03Speaker 4: So, I mean a roommates were literally right behind the
- 41:06Speaker 4: bathroom door cranking up there.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Dark side of the moon. So Ken, Once you explain.
- 41:11Speaker 4: Your book, the billion Dollar Repo Man, so is it
- 41:14Speaker 4: your life story or is it more about just the just.
- 41:17Speaker 7: About the repos and stuff. I didn't really go into
- 41:19Speaker 7: uh before the repost stuff much. No amputee stories, nothing
- 41:24Speaker 7: like that.
- 41:24Speaker 3: That's smart.
- 41:25Speaker 5: That's some people want to know, right, That's what I thought.
- 41:26Speaker 7: So there's sometimes you don't.
- 41:28Speaker 6: Get these like celebrity books and it's like the first
- 41:31Speaker 6: five chapters about your life and it's just like dude,
- 41:33Speaker 6: I just.
- 41:34Speaker 5: Want to talk about what makes you awesome?
- 41:35Speaker 4: Right.
- 41:37Speaker 7: There's a chapter. Each chapter goes over either one repo.
- 41:41Speaker 7: There's two days I did where I got five repos
- 41:43Speaker 7: and nine repos in the day, so I go over
- 41:45Speaker 7: the whole day. And then there's a chapter about like
- 41:48Speaker 7: life after airplane repo, which is I'll give you a clue,
- 41:52Speaker 7: that's where you are. I have to go through the
- 41:54Speaker 7: whole damn book. You know some of the people I
- 41:57Speaker 7: got to meet, and I'm gonna go through. Just tell
- 42:00Speaker 7: me what this stuff. I honestly on the the stores
- 42:03Speaker 7: are back stop, I'll fight. Wouldn't be funny if that
- 42:07Speaker 7: actually if you're on that page we're trying because Opie
- 42:11Speaker 7: had me up there a few times.
- 42:13Speaker 4: You know, I love pet Cage and he supports me
- 42:15Speaker 4: and and uh and he and he fights the good
- 42:18Speaker 4: fight on the social media.
- 42:20Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 42:21Speaker 7: I actually saw just coming up here this morning. Listen
- 42:24Speaker 7: to your YouTube piece with Bashety. Yeah, yeah, about you
- 42:29Speaker 7: know everything that went down. That was fascinating.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Oh thanks, boy.
- 42:33Speaker 7: I just feel like you and I have a lot
- 42:35Speaker 7: in common because you were talking about being the boss
- 42:37Speaker 7: man and how all the crap falls on right, and
- 42:39Speaker 7: that's you know, I mean, Danny's a great guy. I
- 42:41Speaker 7: love him, but I get all the crap because I'm
- 42:44Speaker 7: you know, I'm the one yelling at people. And it's
- 42:46Speaker 7: like it was kind of interesting. A lot of the
- 42:48Speaker 7: parallels and I had.
- 42:50Speaker 3: I had a lot of pressure and stress put on
- 42:52Speaker 3: me during the years, so you.
- 42:54Speaker 4: Know, I believe it, and some bitterness kind of sank
- 42:59Speaker 4: in there.
- 43:00Speaker 7: So I mean I actually had some. When we first
- 43:02Speaker 7: got the show, I was actually I had a regular
- 43:05Speaker 7: partner who was a former ww wrestler, and we were
- 43:08Speaker 7: supposed to do it together. I took him everywhere with me,
- 43:10Speaker 7: and you know, he was working for me, but we
- 43:11Speaker 7: you know, all the TV stuff, all the if you
- 43:13Speaker 7: look at all the earlier news stuff on NBC and
- 43:17Speaker 7: Wall Street Journal, this guy was with me. Well, once
- 43:21Speaker 7: the show came, he kind of decided he wanted to
- 43:23Speaker 7: be his own personality and compete against me on the show.
- 43:28Speaker 7: So you can imagine, like that just created this huge.
- 43:31Speaker 5: Stanks for proval. This is enough room for everybody.
- 43:34Speaker 7: I don't he was supposed to be my partner like
- 43:36Speaker 7: Danny is on the show, and then I had to
- 43:38Speaker 7: fire the guy. And then I acted like a jerk too.
- 43:40Speaker 7: I did things I should have done and response, you know,
- 43:44Speaker 7: and then that's how I ended up meeting Danny, which
- 43:46Speaker 7: was great because Danny was fantastic.
- 43:48Speaker 4: Right, But everyone has their responsibility in it, you know.
- 43:52Speaker 4: I hate the fact that so much of the responsibility
- 43:55Speaker 4: has been put on me. And it's like, look, you know,
- 43:57Speaker 4: they were no treat to work with either, and they
- 43:59Speaker 4: had their response ability in the whole thing.
- 44:01Speaker 3: And how how the own A show.
- 44:03Speaker 5: Just imploded in the end, you know what I mean.
- 44:05Speaker 5: So it's like, there's there's enough room for everyone. I don't.
- 44:09Speaker 5: I don't listen to Anthony's show.
- 44:10Speaker 2: I don't care about it.
- 44:11Speaker 5: I couldn't tell you the first thing about it. I
- 44:13Speaker 5: don't listen to Jimmy show.
- 44:14Speaker 2: I don't care about it.
- 44:15Speaker 4: But even through all this bitterness and and and uh
- 44:19Speaker 4: and all and all the stuff I've been through through
- 44:22Speaker 4: the breakup of the show, I still wish him the best, right,
- 44:25Speaker 4: you know.
- 44:25Speaker 3: But I have moved on and I don't. I don't
- 44:27Speaker 3: focus on what they're doing, although we're talking about it now.
- 44:30Speaker 4: Obviously I know that's my fault, but these guys seem
- 44:33Speaker 4: to know every move I make it's so weird, I
- 44:36Speaker 4: hear it.
- 44:36Speaker 7: I mean, when you're emotionally invested, as you were into
- 44:39Speaker 7: what you're doing. I mean, it wasn't just I feel
- 44:41Speaker 7: like doing this. You were emotionally into it. That's why
- 44:44Speaker 7: it was so good, right, It's hell. So then when
- 44:46Speaker 7: that's b and that's how I felt, you know, I
- 44:48Speaker 7: felt that this guy was a friend of mine, right,
- 44:51Speaker 7: And then in the end he goes with the former
- 44:53Speaker 7: owner of my company who who hated me, and goes
- 44:56Speaker 7: to the National enquire Wow. So before the first episode
- 45:00Speaker 7: came out, I was in the National Inquiry.
- 45:02Speaker 5: What did he say about you?
- 45:03Speaker 7: That everything I did was fake? And I never did
- 45:04Speaker 7: a repo? Right, It's like, come on, yeah, but I
- 45:08Speaker 7: didn't act right either, So I take my share of that. Yet,
- 45:10Speaker 7: I just feel like there was a lot of when
- 45:12Speaker 7: I'm listening to it, I just felt a lot of parallels.
- 45:14Speaker 7: Right when you're in that high chair. Yeah, I mean
- 45:17Speaker 7: we wanted to take all the hits, yeah, and the responsibility,
- 45:21Speaker 7: but they also end up taking all the.
- 45:23Speaker 4: Yeah, you don't get you take all the hits, but
- 45:26Speaker 4: you don't you don't take the same amount of credit, right,
- 45:29Speaker 4: which is really, really frustrating.
- 45:31Speaker 3: So I literally held that show together for.
- 45:34Speaker 2: A long time.
- 45:35Speaker 5: And that doesn't take away from.
- 45:37Speaker 4: Their talents, but in the air, and I held that
- 45:40Speaker 4: fucking thing together right because.
- 45:41Speaker 3: I know what to fucking do it.
- 45:43Speaker 7: I had fun and that beer show we did come on.
- 45:45Speaker 5: My guy was that was fun.
- 45:46Speaker 7: My brew guy was good. Yeah, Space, it's your favorite
- 45:49Speaker 7: beer right now. I just go to them mostly, and
- 45:52Speaker 7: I'm not a huge beer guy. I like the chsp stuff.
- 45:55Speaker 7: I like Brooklyn Lager for some reason. I can't apologize
- 45:58Speaker 7: I like it for.
- 45:58Speaker 2: That, but I like Brookly log.
- 46:01Speaker 5: Carl turned me on to Chinese beer recently.
- 46:03Speaker 3: Chinese beer is sold.
- 46:05Speaker 5: It really is very refreshing.
- 46:06Speaker 6: I drink, I drink very quickly and I locked because
- 46:09Speaker 6: I drink boiler Makers, so I'm constantly drinking Bourbon and
- 46:12Speaker 6: I just use.
- 46:13Speaker 2: That to keep me from passing out. And it's uh.
- 46:17Speaker 2: I like cheap beer. I liked, I like to taste it,
- 46:19Speaker 2: and Chinese and Japanese cheap beers.
- 46:21Speaker 4: But used the word in there that perfectly describes Chinese
- 46:23Speaker 4: beers and Japanese beers crisp.
- 46:26Speaker 3: You're very crisp, very crisp, and nice sale.
- 46:28Speaker 5: They go down nice and they and they're great when
- 46:31Speaker 5: they're really cold.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 46:33Speaker 7: I actually worked with TSP to develop a beer. We
- 46:35Speaker 7: called it Yachtzi because that's my catchphrase on the show Nice.
- 46:38Speaker 7: So we had a Yachtzi. L was an English bit er.
- 46:40Speaker 7: It was you know, four percent ABV it was, but
- 46:42Speaker 7: it was Chris, that's a nice So you could keep pounding,
- 46:46Speaker 7: you could pound all that.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I do. I pretty much drink since
- 46:49Speaker 2: I waked up until I go to sleep. I'm working
- 46:52Speaker 2: through it. I'm working through it.
- 46:54Speaker 5: Carl's an animal. I don't I really don't know.
- 46:56Speaker 3: How he does it.
- 46:56Speaker 2: I killed I killed up the agent last night.
- 46:58Speaker 5: So yeah, what happens all after I left Hope he's agent.
- 47:02Speaker 2: I guess you want to have a heart to heart
- 47:03Speaker 2: with me.
- 47:03Speaker 5: Where's my career going?
- 47:05Speaker 2: So one thing that the media.
- 47:06Speaker 5: Guys do, I mean agents is something I know this.
- 47:09Speaker 2: You know, just experiences.
- 47:11Speaker 6: They try to match up with you, you know, like
- 47:13Speaker 6: sit down and but I don't think he realized that
- 47:16Speaker 6: I'm a monster.
- 47:17Speaker 2: Right, So he's going he's we're going drink for Drake.
- 47:20Speaker 2: He's justing B and B. I'm vicing Jim bean Bro.
- 47:24Speaker 2: He got up, dropped the glass and he's like stumbling,
- 47:28Speaker 2: and the bartender's like, is he okay? Am I one?
- 47:34Speaker 6: She's like, I don't think I can serve him. I
- 47:35Speaker 6: give her a twenty bucks. She's like one B and
- 47:38Speaker 6: me coming out, and then that was it. And after
- 47:40Speaker 6: that his one eye was closed. He's like, can you
- 47:42Speaker 6: give me a cigarette? I'm like, you don't smoke? He goes,
- 47:44Speaker 6: I just need a cigarette.
- 47:45Speaker 3: Oh my god. He's an older guy too.
- 47:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 47:48Speaker 2: Here he almost did at making. He couldn't finish one story.
- 47:52Speaker 7: He couldn't finish one story.
- 47:53Speaker 2: He's like, I fell off the bike and broke my neck.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Can I get a cigarette?
- 47:58Speaker 5: What does that? That's he's an agent instead of doing this.

- 49:22Speaker 2: for Opie? Hey?
- 49:25Speaker 5: Where we Where are we going with aviation? As we
- 49:28Speaker 5: wrap up?
- 49:29Speaker 7: What do you mean?
- 49:33Speaker 4: No? No, I'll tell you because I forgot where it was.
- 49:36Speaker 4: But they're talking about flying trains. Did you see that
- 49:38Speaker 4: article the other day? But if it's in the air,
- 49:41Speaker 4: isn't it just a plane? I'm so sick of people
- 49:43Speaker 4: going oh, flying cars.
- 49:44Speaker 3: That would mean you get you got a fucking a
- 49:47Speaker 3: plane with a plane. Did you see the flying trains yet?
- 49:50Speaker 7: I haven't seen that.
- 49:51Speaker 3: They got some weird new technology where the where the
- 49:53Speaker 3: train takes off?
- 49:55Speaker 7: Then how's it land?
- 49:56Speaker 3: I don't know. I didn't get that far in the
- 49:58Speaker 3: article flying trains. Wow?
- 50:03Speaker 2: Could you see him like when his little c he
- 50:05Speaker 2: has these readers from CVS.
- 50:08Speaker 6: Why he's just going through the favorite you know, he
- 50:10Speaker 6: goes like the weird like I bet you like has
- 50:13Speaker 6: like his feet is all those weird.
- 50:15Speaker 5: Technology and science. Who would have known it?
- 50:18Speaker 2: Fucking articles?
- 50:19Speaker 4: Actually, I got Google alerts for little people, Big world
- 50:22Speaker 4: if you need to know.
- 50:23Speaker 5: If you need to know the truth. There's a lot
- 50:26Speaker 5: of drama that family.
- 50:27Speaker 2: You can laugh out hot girls and there's a.
- 50:30Speaker 5: Lot of drama in that family.
- 50:35Speaker 4: Ron Valery, who is the one that listened to me
- 50:38Speaker 4: when I said, Ron Valerry was trying to hire me
- 50:41Speaker 4: to go to Boston to go to af and I said,
- 50:45Speaker 4: you know they had a night show available, but I
- 50:47Speaker 4: was already doing nights at BA B And I was
- 50:49Speaker 4: the one that said, look I'm working with this new guy.
- 50:51Speaker 4: Anthony who was as green as green comes, but you know,
- 50:54Speaker 4: a natural talent. And Ron Valerry believed in my vision
- 50:57Speaker 4: and I sent him tapes and go and he goes, wow,
- 51:01Speaker 4: all right, yeah, well we'll bring you up to Boston
- 51:03Speaker 4: do afternoon drive instead.
- 51:05Speaker 3: So I'll always love that guy.
- 51:07Speaker 5: But what he told me.
- 51:08Speaker 4: He was the one that told me all you need
- 51:10Speaker 4: to do is read the first paragraph of any article
- 51:12Speaker 4: and you're good.
- 51:13Speaker 6: Well, and I sort of do that now, Larry, until
- 51:16Speaker 6: you have to follow question exactly what do you mean flying?
- 51:19Speaker 2: Shane boo. I'm good.
- 51:22Speaker 5: I get fucked with the follow up question.
- 51:26Speaker 2: How he's starting, like what do you think about the
- 51:28Speaker 2: history of aviation?
- 51:29Speaker 7: Like he was hinting this whole conversation number one paragraph.
- 51:32Speaker 4: But I do want to know where we're going because
- 51:35Speaker 4: at one of those tech I think it was Japan,
- 51:38Speaker 4: they were talking about the drones, the single passenger drones, now.
- 51:42Speaker 5: Where you could get a fucking drone and with GPS you.
- 51:45Speaker 4: Pop it in and this thing will fly you without
- 51:47Speaker 4: a pilot, obviously to your destination.
- 51:50Speaker 3: How close are we to actually having that as reality?
- 51:52Speaker 2: You have it right now? Nobody flies those planes half
- 51:54Speaker 2: the time.
- 51:54Speaker 3: I mean they just land them, a know, But for
- 51:56Speaker 3: for for no, I understand that, but for us for
- 51:59Speaker 3: citizens suit.
- 52:01Speaker 4: I mean they were they were showing one in this
- 52:03Speaker 4: uh this show in Japan technology Technical.
- 52:10Speaker 7: You should have done when he saw the girl and
- 52:12Speaker 7: so sorry, this is good ship. Yeah, I don't know
- 52:17Speaker 7: what they're gonna have.
- 52:18Speaker 2: I'll tell you they're they're gonna have planes.
- 52:20Speaker 6: They're gonna have big planes, and they're gonna be run
- 52:21Speaker 6: by robots everything else.
- 52:23Speaker 5: But people want.
- 52:26Speaker 2: A drone just for them. They did that. It's called
- 52:28Speaker 2: the Beluga.
- 52:29Speaker 5: Saw that and it looks like and they make it
- 52:31Speaker 5: look like the.
- 52:32Speaker 2: So what people realize is and this happened from the Concorde.
- 52:36Speaker 6: They realized people rather have cheap than speed, right, So
- 52:40Speaker 6: the Concorde is very expensive, but it got these places
- 52:42Speaker 6: really fast. But they decided to go to the other
- 52:44Speaker 6: rout which just make planes ginormous like a Bosser train
- 52:48Speaker 6: and very comfortable. So people have no problems. There's zombies,
- 52:52Speaker 6: they have no problems sitting on a plane for eight
- 52:54Speaker 6: hours as long as they have Wi Fi and fucking
- 52:56Speaker 6: cheap soda, you know what I mean.
- 52:58Speaker 2: And that's the history of maybe that's gonna be the
- 52:59Speaker 2: what aviation is.
- 53:00Speaker 6: So you think those ginormous planes and for ninety nine dollars,
- 53:03Speaker 6: you go fucking anywhere and you.
- 53:04Speaker 5: Got a little, uh like a little bar area that
- 53:07Speaker 5: you remember too.
- 53:08Speaker 6: And commercial flighting flights are changing from business, from a
- 53:12Speaker 6: business structure to a vacation structure because people don't need
- 53:17Speaker 6: to travel for business anymore.
- 53:18Speaker 2: You can you know, you can have Wi Fi.
- 53:19Speaker 6: You can communicate with right right, right of course, So
- 53:21Speaker 6: that whole thing, like this whole conference.
- 53:23Speaker 3: Ship, it's falling apart, it's com Yeah.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Well that's why Vegas. You saw Vegas.
- 53:28Speaker 6: Vegas is the they're the smartest business people there, right,
- 53:31Speaker 6: because they're the best people in corralling people.
- 53:33Speaker 2: And if you notice how they went, they quickly went.
- 53:35Speaker 6: From the convention centers to concerts restaurants because they know
- 53:41Speaker 6: that that business shit.
- 53:42Speaker 3: Is a video conferencing is huge.
- 53:44Speaker 5: Oh yeah.
- 53:44Speaker 4: And with that said, as we wrap up from the
- 53:47Speaker 4: podcast movement, none of these people.
- 53:49Speaker 5: Really needed to be here.
- 53:51Speaker 2: They don't need to be even in their own lives.
- 53:54Speaker 7: They all just came to see you two on the panel.
- 53:57Speaker 2: Panel.
- 54:00Speaker 7: A lot of information from Opie. What do you think
- 54:02Speaker 7: about this?
- 54:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll figure it out.
- 54:04Speaker 6: Your sing you can tell how Cage e Opie is
- 54:07Speaker 6: because one of the great people that I was asking.
- 54:08Speaker 2: A question was his manager.
- 54:12Speaker 5: Were you gonna call me this week?
- 54:15Speaker 2: Remember he asked the question.
- 54:16Speaker 3: And then I moaned when he raised his hand.
- 54:17Speaker 5: I'm like, oh that's mister tenth Percy.
- 54:20Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 54:20Speaker 7: It was so fun.
- 54:21Speaker 2: Everyone was like, oh my god.
- 54:23Speaker 4: No, because here's the other thing, like when you're when
- 54:25Speaker 4: you do this, like I got real ideas, I'm not
- 54:28Speaker 4: sharing it with other people.
- 54:29Speaker 5: Because because they're the competition in the end.
- 54:32Speaker 2: So I gave them.
- 54:32Speaker 4: I gave him some of some of my shittier ideas
- 54:34Speaker 4: that I already did a long time ago. Yeah, try
- 54:37Speaker 4: this and work for me ten years ago. It's like
- 54:38Speaker 4: I work now, though the whole world has changed. You
- 54:40Speaker 4: silly goose.
- 54:41Speaker 2: It's bad.
- 54:42Speaker 5: So all right, ken Cage, thank you, sir.
- 54:45Speaker 7: I appreciate it's good to see you again.

- 55:10Speaker 1: fellow podcasters. Not being typical radio or TV personalities, they
- 55:15Speaker 1: obviously have an amazing grasp and an intimate connection to
- 55:18Speaker 1: this grassroot surge in digital media and the camaraderie that
- 55:22Speaker 1: goes with it. Thanks to Ken Cage from TV's Airplane
- 55:25Speaker 1: Repo for stopping by Let's get right back to our host,
