- 0:00Speaker 1: This is seven tor Boy. The Mark Simoon Show starts. Now. Well,
- 0:17Speaker 1: there's a lot going on. There's a new airport in
- 0:19Speaker 1: Palm Beach. It's causing all kinds of uproar. We'll get
- 0:23Speaker 1: to Graham Platner, he's out. We'll get to FIFA, We'll
- 0:26Speaker 1: get to the building collapse. More details coming out. We'll
- 0:30Speaker 1: get to the latest on Iran, Ukraine, and a whole
- 0:35Speaker 1: lot more. So. It happened this morning they officially changed
- 0:38Speaker 1: the name of the Palm Beach Airport, the one in
- 0:40Speaker 1: West Palm Beach, Palm PBI Palm Beach International Airport is
- 0:45Speaker 1: now Donald J. Trump International Airport. The code is DJT
- 0:51Speaker 1: the airport code. I lobbied a lot of people in
- 0:55Speaker 1: the White House to have the code b TDS. I
- 0:59Speaker 1: was unsuccessful. TDS would be a great code for that airport.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Now it was officially renamed. It happened this morning Donald J.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Trump International Airport. Guess what the first plane was to land?
- 1:16Speaker 1: It was Trump Force one. Eric Trump got up extremely early.
- 1:21Speaker 1: This is the Trump plane, the Trump company plane. This
- 1:24Speaker 1: is Trump Force one, and he flew down. There was
- 1:28Speaker 1: the very first to land at the new Donald J.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Trump International Airport. Now, it's not unusual to name an
- 1:35Speaker 1: airport after a president. We got a whole bunch of them.
- 1:37Speaker 1: I think we've got twelve of them around the country.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Usually happens where the president lived or was born his
- 1:45Speaker 1: home state. You know, there's an Abraham Lincoln Airport in Illinois.
- 1:48Speaker 1: It happens frequently. It's not unusual, not unusual. So, as predicted,
- 1:58Speaker 1: a lot of people are going crazy, the left because
- 2:02Speaker 1: to get to this airport, you got to pass fifty
- 2:05Speaker 1: signs and say Donald J. Trump International Airport. You got
- 2:08Speaker 1: to take Donald J. Trump Boulevard to get there. Everywhere
- 2:12Speaker 1: you look when you get in this airport Donald J.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Trump International. So the left crazy, temper tantrum, crying, left wingers,
- 2:21Speaker 1: the Trump haters can't deal with it. So, believe it
- 2:24Speaker 1: or not, they're traveling another hour or two to go
- 2:28Speaker 1: to a different airport if they have to fly. I'm
- 2:30Speaker 1: not kidding. If they're living the Palm Beach area, there's
- 2:35Speaker 1: such whiny temper tantrum Trump haters, they will not go
- 2:39Speaker 1: to the airport. They'll drive an hour to Fort Lauderdale Airport.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Some even well, listen to one of them.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I think they're crazy.
- 2:45Speaker 1: They want to get on a ninety five and drive
- 2:47Speaker 1: an hour south or two hours north. Go right ahead.
- 2:50Speaker 1: But you know what, just because of a name change,
- 2:54Speaker 1: to change your airport. Come on, all right, Well that's
- 2:57Speaker 1: a normal person. But here's one of these Trump arrangements
- 2:59Speaker 1: syndrome idiots.
- 3:00Speaker 2: I think it's a joke, and I'm gonna fly in
- 3:02Speaker 2: and out of Orlando from now on to get to
- 3:05Speaker 2: my destination.
- 3:09Speaker 1: One of the great things about that Palm Beach Airport
- 3:12Speaker 1: for years is it smaller airport. It's like the Westchester Airport,
- 3:16Speaker 1: very easy to get in and out of, less delays.
- 3:20Speaker 1: It's like an old fashioned, convenient kind of airport without
- 3:24Speaker 1: the terrible lines. And also, if all these Trump arrangements
- 3:27Speaker 1: syndrome idiots are going to go somewhere else, great, great,
- 3:30Speaker 1: it'll be even easier to get in and out of
- 3:32Speaker 1: that airport. Also, you know if you're getting on a
- 3:34Speaker 1: plane out of the Palm Beach Airport that you won't
- 3:38Speaker 1: be sitting next to some left wing crazy I guess
- 3:41Speaker 1: if they're flying down there, you have to make arrangements.
- 3:43Speaker 1: They'll they'll have to fly to Fort Lauderdale or Miami,
- 3:47Speaker 1: Orlando and an extra or two These are the same
- 3:54Speaker 1: Trump arrangement syndrome idiots. They're yelling and screaming about conserve
- 3:58Speaker 1: fuel and don't use too much gas, but here they'll
- 4:01Speaker 1: drive an extra hour or two just because they don't
- 4:04Speaker 1: like the name. Now, in response to this, there's a
- 4:10Speaker 1: big movement in a democratic world to rename O'Hare International
- 4:14Speaker 1: Airport after Obama, Chicago's hometown. So it would be Obama
- 4:20Speaker 1: International Airport. And I guess the left fields that they've
- 4:26Speaker 1: got to go tit for tat. I guess they also
- 4:28Speaker 1: feel that this would be he would Obama would win.
- 4:31Speaker 1: It's a bigger airport, you know, it's probably the major
- 4:34Speaker 1: hub of American airlines and airports. So watch for this
- 4:40Speaker 1: big push now to change that name. In Iran, we
- 4:45Speaker 1: have been hitting them hard all night. We've hit about
- 4:49Speaker 1: ninety five targets so far. Military targets were hitting them
- 4:53Speaker 1: extremely hard and the strikes will continue.
- 4:58Speaker 2: It's going to happen fast. We have the Harmo Strait,
- 5:03Speaker 2: the boats have pulled out. I mean, there is a
- 5:06Speaker 2: gusher of.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Oil right now.
- 5:07Speaker 2: We have a lot of oil and no anything that
- 5:10Speaker 2: happens is going to happen very fast.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Yeah. Now Iran is making all kinds of threats. There's
- 5:16Speaker 1: a threat. Yeah, there'll be grave consequences. You know, they've
- 5:20Speaker 1: attempted to kill President Trump in the past. They are
- 5:24Speaker 1: now trying to kill them again.
- 5:25Speaker 3: I mentioned it only because it's on the list. I
- 5:27Speaker 3: mean it came out.
- 5:28Speaker 2: There was another list came out yesterday, and I'm I'm
- 5:31Speaker 2: number one on. I like being number one on TikTok better,
- 5:35Speaker 2: but I'm number one on the list for killing.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Yeah. So, and as he said, he got lucky the
- 5:42Speaker 1: last couple of times, but you know, sometimes your luck
- 5:44Speaker 1: runs out. Now, the President was in Turkey for the
- 5:47Speaker 1: NATO conference with the brand new enormous Air Force one,
- 5:51Speaker 1: you know, the plane that cutter landed, the Flying Palace,
- 5:55Speaker 1: the enormous plane. But when it came time to leave
- 6:00Speaker 1: Turkey yesterday, he had the old Air Force one brought
- 6:03Speaker 1: in so he could leave on that. And he made
- 6:06Speaker 1: up some excuse but didn't pass the smell test that
- 6:11Speaker 1: the reason was the new Air Force one was in
- 6:14Speaker 1: England so that the members of the military could visit
- 6:17Speaker 1: it and see it doesn't ring true. Why would he
- 6:22Speaker 1: then have that old Air Force one brought in instead
- 6:24Speaker 1: of the new one? Apparently they were really really worried
- 6:29Speaker 1: about an attack on Air Force One, and that's the
- 6:33Speaker 1: reason he did it. The new Air Force One, it's
- 6:36Speaker 1: the plane that Cutter lent Us went through incredible rebuilding
- 6:41Speaker 1: and it took a customer like a couple hundred million
- 6:44Speaker 1: to refit it. Put in all the security stuff, all
- 6:47Speaker 1: the communications stuff, and make it into an Air Force one.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Costs a lot of money, but apparently it doesn't have
- 6:54Speaker 1: some of the things that Air Force One has. One
- 6:57Speaker 1: is anti missile defenses. So they were worried about this
- 7:01Speaker 1: new Air Force One getting hit or the President getting
- 7:04Speaker 1: attacked with missiles in the air over that part of
- 7:07Speaker 1: the world. So the old Air Force One, which has
- 7:10Speaker 1: full anti missile defense, brought in, which means they're taking
- 7:13Speaker 1: this threat very very very seriously. But we're going to
- 7:18Speaker 1: keep going. This bombing, this war in Iran will continue
- 7:23Speaker 1: for days and days and days. It's going to get
- 7:26Speaker 1: heavier and heavier, and President saying Iran is calling. They're
- 7:31Speaker 1: trying to work out something, but as it gets real serious,
- 7:34Speaker 1: we may have to take out all their infrastructure, maybe
- 7:37Speaker 1: even carg Island, which is where all of their oil
- 7:40Speaker 1: is stored.
- 7:41Speaker 3: We attacked carg Island. Last night we knocked out a piece.
- 7:44Speaker 4: I said, don't touch the oil because maybe we'll take
- 7:47Speaker 4: over car Island.
- 7:49Speaker 3: We may take over car Island. It's not a thing
- 7:52Speaker 3: they can do about it.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Yeah, and now, if we took out carg Island, Iran
- 7:56Speaker 1: would be out of the oil business for many years.
- 7:58Speaker 1: It would take a long time to read that, and
- 8:00Speaker 1: that might drive the price of oil a little crazy.
- 8:02Speaker 1: But we could seize it too, and just take the
- 8:05Speaker 1: oil and distribute it. As I said, they're calling. There's
- 8:11Speaker 1: some sort of a little negotiation going on, but the
- 8:14Speaker 1: President Trump no longer trust them.
- 8:15Speaker 3: As far as I'm concerned, it's over. I'll speak to
- 8:18Speaker 3: our negotiators. They want to negotiate.
- 8:20Speaker 5: They're good people, Steve Woodcuff, Jared Gusher, but they have
- 8:24Speaker 5: to come back to me.
- 8:25Speaker 2: As far as I'm concerned, it's just a waste of
- 8:28Speaker 2: time dealing with them.
- 8:29Speaker 3: They're liars. Yeah, so they're not doing a service to
- 8:32Speaker 3: the people.
- 8:33Speaker 2: And I think more than anything else is I got
- 8:35Speaker 2: to know them, and I'm not sure I want to
- 8:38Speaker 2: make a deal with them. We can play games, but
- 8:40Speaker 2: I'm not sure I want to make a deal. Let's
- 8:42Speaker 2: just finish the job.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Well, and so people have been yelling for the weeks
- 8:45Speaker 1: and weeks and weeks and weeks of the ceasefire, finish
- 8:48Speaker 1: the job, finish the job. Now that he's going to
- 8:50Speaker 1: finish the job, they'll be yelling, what the hell you're doing,
- 8:52Speaker 1: Stop finishing the job. But this looks pretty good. If
- 8:57Speaker 1: you're watching MSNBC or CNN or reading the New York Times,
- 9:01Speaker 1: all you see these articles about how the problem is
- 9:05Speaker 1: he's not negotiating from strength like the previous administrations. He's
- 9:08Speaker 1: negotiating from weakness, not strength. Well, it wasn't negotiating from strength.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Paying ransom, putting billions of dollars on a plane and
- 9:17Speaker 1: sending it, that's just paying ransom. Blowing the hell up.
- 9:21Speaker 1: That's pretty much a position of strength. They're all hiding
- 9:24Speaker 1: in caves from bombings, so it's a position of strength
- 9:28Speaker 1: that we have Hey over there. In those NATO talks,
- 9:33Speaker 1: he told Spain we would cut them off completely. They
- 9:35Speaker 1: weren't contributing their money to NATO. We were going to
- 9:40Speaker 1: cut them off all together. Apparently, just this morning, Spain
- 9:44Speaker 1: has caved in. They will now pay their full share.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Zelensky and Trump met they got along pretty well. Zelensky
- 9:51Speaker 1: is doing very very well in that war against Russia.
- 9:55Speaker 1: He's built his own factories, produces his own drones. Next, well,
- 10:00Speaker 1: maybe those patriot missiles. President agreeing with him, maybe will
- 10:04Speaker 1: show them how to build patriot missile factories.
- 10:07Speaker 4: A little birdie told me this about the fact that
- 10:11Speaker 4: we'll give them the right to make patriots, will show
- 10:15Speaker 4: them how to do it. It's very complex, actually, but
- 10:18Speaker 4: it's uh, you'll figure out the complexity quickly.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Yeah. So if they because they were very good at
- 10:23Speaker 1: figuring out how to build drones and opening their own factories,
- 10:26Speaker 1: so drones and patriot missiles, they'll be all set. Russia
- 10:30Speaker 1: won't be able to make any progress. In fact, they'll
- 10:33Speaker 1: probably start losing territory, which is why Putin is talking
- 10:36Speaker 1: to Trump again.
- 10:37Speaker 3: We have a lot of pressure on President Putin. You know,
- 10:40Speaker 3: I don't think he likes what's going on.
- 10:43Speaker 5: I don't think he likes I don't think he's thrilled
- 10:45Speaker 5: with what's happening. There's a lot of pressure on President
- 10:49Speaker 5: Putin to get it done. I think there's pressure on
- 10:51Speaker 5: everybody to get that one done.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it's pretty embarrassing for Putin. It was supposed to
- 10:55Speaker 1: be this massive superpower, incredible powerful military, and they in
- 11:00Speaker 1: a stalemate with this little rinky dinky Ukraine for five years. Now.
- 11:04Speaker 2: You know, I used an analogy and it sounds simple,
- 11:07Speaker 2: but it's sort of true to you.
- 11:08Speaker 5: You have two kids in a park and they don't
- 11:11Speaker 5: like each other, they start fighting. Sometimes you have to
- 11:14Speaker 5: let them fight. Let them see that it's tough. You know,
- 11:19Speaker 5: it's tough. Fighting is tough.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I see what he means. Though, if you
- 11:24Speaker 1: can settle this, at least Putin, who had always talked
- 11:27Speaker 1: about taking another piece of territory going into another country,
- 11:30Speaker 1: may have learned his lesson and that may all be
- 11:34Speaker 1: on hold for now. Hey, that building collapse forty second
- 11:39Speaker 1: between second and third, close to traffic. Looks like they're
- 11:42Speaker 1: going to reopen it a little because yesterday and overnight
- 11:45Speaker 1: they think they have They haven't fixed the problem. The
- 11:49Speaker 1: problem was the steel was buckling, the beams were buckling.
- 11:52Speaker 1: They think they've put a temporary something in there to
- 11:55Speaker 1: hold those beams up. They think they've stabilized the building.
- 11:59Speaker 1: This is now now, this is nowhere near fixing the problem.
- 12:02Speaker 1: You still got that problem. They may have to take
- 12:04Speaker 1: down the twenty floors they put on top. They may
- 12:07Speaker 1: have to take down the whole building. Who knows. This
- 12:09Speaker 1: is going to take a long investigation by experts, but
- 12:13Speaker 1: they think they've stabilized it. So they've opened up the
- 12:16Speaker 1: area to some traffic so it's not as bad as
- 12:19Speaker 1: it was now. This developer apparently has another building where
- 12:25Speaker 1: he's been you know, all sorts of claims. He's facing
- 12:29Speaker 1: almost four hundred million dollars in claims for taking shortcuts
- 12:32Speaker 1: on the construction. So this developer, it is the craziest
- 12:36Speaker 1: thing I've ever seen where this building collapse, this old
- 12:39Speaker 1: Pfizer building, decided to build twenty new stories on top
- 12:43Speaker 1: of part of it, and the beams couldn't hold twenty
- 12:47Speaker 1: stories of a building above it. They weren't able to
- 12:49Speaker 1: hold that kind of weight. You would think architects, engineers
- 12:53Speaker 1: could know that and figure that out ahead of time.
- 12:55Speaker 1: But if this is the case with this other building,
- 12:59Speaker 1: where he takes short cuts and doesn't use the best people,
- 13:02Speaker 1: well you're going to see probably a billion dollars worth
- 13:05Speaker 1: of lawsuits here. But they're building thirty seven stories the
- 13:10Speaker 1: Nathan Berman is the managing principal and founder of this company.
- 13:16Speaker 1: What he said sounded a little crazy. He said, it's
- 13:21Speaker 1: not a bad it's not a big thing. It's not
- 13:23Speaker 1: a total collapse. It's a localized collapse. Well that's a collapse.
- 13:29Speaker 1: There's either no collapse or it's a collapse. It's a
- 13:31Speaker 1: localized collapse. And he said this incident is nothing more
- 13:37Speaker 1: than a typical construction mishap. All right, that's about the
- 13:43Speaker 1: dumbest statement anybody could make. The last thing this is
- 13:46Speaker 1: is a typical construction mishap. Typical construction mishap is you
- 13:52Speaker 1: forget to tie down some materials and a big wind,
- 13:54Speaker 1: some bricks or something flies off the scaffold. Collapse is
- 13:59Speaker 1: not a typical construction mishap. So if he's saying absolutely idiotic,
- 14:05Speaker 1: insane things like that, you know you can't listen to
- 14:07Speaker 1: anything this guy says. The city officials looking at it,
- 14:13Speaker 1: they said, the way the buildings constructed, steel frame building,
- 14:16Speaker 1: it's not likely that it would topple. If there's a
- 14:19Speaker 1: collapse of some kind, it would pancake down. That's the
- 14:25Speaker 1: way the World Trade Center was built, you know, back
- 14:27Speaker 1: at nine to eleven. Had it not been built that way,
- 14:29Speaker 1: it would toppled. It would have gone for five six blocks,
- 14:34Speaker 1: but it pancaked down on itself, so this building would
- 14:36Speaker 1: do that. But they believe they've got the temporary fix
- 14:41Speaker 1: to just stabilize it and give them some time to
- 14:44Speaker 1: figure out what to do. A lot of this building's
- 14:47Speaker 1: going to have to come down most likely. There's probably
- 14:51Speaker 1: no other way to fix this. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Eight hundred two one zero seven ten
