- 0:00Speaker 1: You guys gonna be a little jealous, But I'm just
- 0:02Speaker 1: gonna sing it. What I can't see clearly now that
- 0:07Speaker 1: I've hit the bong. We were we waiting for you
- 0:13Speaker 1: to clear the I'm like, yo, fuck all those obstacles
- 0:18Speaker 1: in my way. I thought we had a new no
- 0:22Speaker 1: bong hits before the podcast rule. Sometimes I wish Casey
- 0:27Speaker 1: would walk in wearing a thong. Oh boy, boy, because
- 0:33Speaker 1: it would be a bride, bright, bright, sunshine day. I
- 0:41Speaker 1: love it. Well. I'm fortunately, guys, I'm fortunate to have
- 0:44Speaker 1: seen Casey's bought during the infamous time when you um,
- 0:49Speaker 1: we don't walk around the party. We don't need to
- 0:51Speaker 1: talk about that. We don't, okay, do we have to
- 0:54Speaker 1: cut that? No, we don't have to cut It was
- 0:56Speaker 1: a long time ago. It was a long time ago.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Donald Donald was over served at a Scrubs party, and
- 1:03Speaker 1: we've told you about this. He was walking around with
- 1:04Speaker 1: the shirt off and showing a picture of Casey's bum
- 1:10Speaker 1: um and bragging about how well he did with his
- 1:15Speaker 1: with his girlfriend. There you go. Casey arrived so by
- 1:19Speaker 1: the event, right, But she surprised me. She surprised me.
- 1:22Speaker 1: She surprised Donald At the event. She was the town.
- 1:27Speaker 1: She was out of town, yes, and she thought that
- 1:30Speaker 1: the height of her humiliation would be that her fiance
- 1:34Speaker 1: was shirtless at the party and hammered. She had yet
- 1:38Speaker 1: to learn that he had been bragging by showing off
- 1:40Speaker 1: a picture of her ass. She married me anyway? Can
- 1:46Speaker 1: you believe it? She married him anyway? Well, you did
- 1:50Speaker 1: very well. She looks so beautiful at that Easter party,
- 1:52Speaker 1: which is where I think we should obviously start, because
- 1:55Speaker 1: the internets are going to want to know you met
- 1:58Speaker 1: your hero. Only do you meet your hero? You took
- 2:01Speaker 1: pictures with Harrison Ford. I had a feeling this was
- 2:05Speaker 1: gonna come up today. Oh really, you didn't we talking
- 2:08Speaker 1: about First of all, Casey was nervous. She's like, oh no,
- 2:14Speaker 1: he's gonna do He's gonna drink too much and do something.
- 2:17Speaker 1: So no, this is well, this is what happened. I
- 2:19Speaker 1: don't know why you guys waited until, like, you know,
- 2:25Speaker 1: two three hours before the party to call me. I
- 2:28Speaker 1: mean to text me and be like, Yo, Harrison Ford's
- 2:30Speaker 1: gonna be at the party. Don't fucking freak out. This
- 2:34Speaker 1: is the actual text. And I'm like, oh shit, And
- 2:37Speaker 1: I say it to Casey. I go, Casey, Zac just
- 2:40Speaker 1: tolmy Harrison Ford's gonna be at the party and not
- 2:42Speaker 1: to freak out, and she goes, what, oh shit, right,
- 2:47Speaker 1: she started freaking out. She starts freaking out. I immediately
- 2:51Speaker 1: turned around and break down in tears, like, oh my god,
- 2:55Speaker 1: Like you start crying, dude, because the moment was it
- 2:59Speaker 1: was an overwhelming moment. It was like, all right, I
- 3:02Speaker 1: want to be cool about this, but I don't want
- 3:04Speaker 1: to be too cool. And you know, so I get
- 3:06Speaker 1: what happens to people when they meet people, you know,
- 3:10Speaker 1: for the first time and they break down and shit
- 3:12Speaker 1: like that, because it's especially when it's out of the
- 3:15Speaker 1: blue and it's unexpected, because your emotions all of a sudden,
- 3:19Speaker 1: like I've waited for this moment in my whole life,
- 3:21Speaker 1: and what I was gonna say, you know. So, you know,
- 3:24Speaker 1: I'm so happy that you texted me that three hours before,
- 3:26Speaker 1: because if you hadn't and he showed up, you would
- 3:30Speaker 1: have been like your character when you met Lando Calrissian,
- 3:33Speaker 1: and it would have been worse than Lando Calrissian. It
- 3:37Speaker 1: would have been worse. And he's you know, he's a
- 3:39Speaker 1: grown man too. You know what I mean, he's you know,
- 3:42Speaker 1: he was very sweet. You know, I didn't know what
- 3:44Speaker 1: to expect. I knew he was going to be there
- 3:45Speaker 1: because Bill is directing a new show with Jason Siegel
- 3:53Speaker 1: and m Harrison Ford is going to be the co star,
- 3:56Speaker 1: which is very exciting, most importantly for me because I
- 3:59Speaker 1: get to direct him. I'm going to direct Harrison Ford
- 4:01Speaker 1: down whoa Yeah, man, come on, dude, but I've directed
- 4:06Speaker 1: some legends, but I mean, Harrison ford Is is up
- 4:08Speaker 1: there amongst what what do you? What do you? What
- 4:10Speaker 1: do you? What are you trying to do right now?
- 4:12Speaker 1: I'm trying to I'm trying to humble. I'm trying to
- 4:13Speaker 1: humble brag. Do you mind you can come to send
- 4:16Speaker 1: and be my my assistant that that's exactly That's exactly
- 4:20Speaker 1: what I want to do, is act. That's exactly what
- 4:22Speaker 1: I want to do. You're absolutely right. Excuse me, this
- 4:28Speaker 1: oat is too cold. I'm sorry. Harrison Um was really cool.
- 4:37Speaker 1: He couldn't have been couldn't he couldn't have been? Um
- 4:40Speaker 1: sweeps dope, dude. He took was your family pictures. In fact,
- 4:44Speaker 1: he took so many family they had a photo booth thing.
- 4:47Speaker 1: This was that the Lawrences. The Lawrences always have a
- 4:49Speaker 1: fancy Eastern event and we should shout them out, Bill
- 4:53Speaker 1: and Christopher. Yeah, they threw, They always throw such for
- 4:56Speaker 1: the memories. I go for the bunnies because you get
- 4:59Speaker 1: a momosa in one hand and a bunny in the other.
- 5:01Speaker 1: And I mean, is there anything better than that? Just
- 5:04Speaker 1: a mimosa in one hand and a bunny in the other. Yeah,
- 5:07Speaker 1: a picture with Harrison Ford, us picture with Harrison Ford.
- 5:10Speaker 1: So then, But the funny part was it, like so
- 5:12Speaker 1: they have this beautiful photo booths set up with you know,
- 5:14Speaker 1: one of those professional companies that does it, and Harrison
- 5:18Speaker 1: Ford agrees to be in Donald's shot with his family. Well,
- 5:21Speaker 1: he wasn't doing anything. He was walking with his hands
- 5:24Speaker 1: in his pockets like just like you know, everybody had
- 5:27Speaker 1: left him alone at that moment, and I called out.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I was like, hey, Harrison, you want to be enough
- 5:32Speaker 1: did the buzz? Did you have enough of the buzz
- 5:34Speaker 1: to ask? Or were you so? No? But no, but
- 5:37Speaker 1: you know, something took over me, like the force was
- 5:39Speaker 1: strong with me at that moment, like for real. And
- 5:42Speaker 1: I was like, yo, Harrison, you want to take a
- 5:44Speaker 1: picture with me and my family? For Easter. He was like, fuck, yeah,
- 5:48Speaker 1: of course, and he comes over and he takes a
- 5:51Speaker 1: picture with us. Yeah, dude, not only does he take
- 5:54Speaker 1: a picture with us, he takes several of us several
- 5:58Speaker 1: to the point word to the point where it was
- 6:00Speaker 1: over and everyone was like, oh my god, Donald. Everyone
- 6:03Speaker 1: everyone knows how much Donald loves Harrison Ford, and everyone
- 6:05Speaker 1: was in the picture was amazing and it was so great.
- 6:07Speaker 1: But then there's like this moment where they're leaving and
- 6:09Speaker 1: Donald's like, oh, we should probably get one without Harrison Ford,
- 6:13Speaker 1: like for our family. And so Donald says to the
- 6:18Speaker 1: photo booth guy in front of Harrison Ford, he goes, hey, Casey,
- 6:24Speaker 1: here to do. And that's what we're talking about this weekend.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I was talking about you and how beautifully looked in
- 6:39Speaker 1: your dress. You made your dress. You should give that
- 6:41Speaker 1: company a shout out. La Johnson Ula Johnson Ladies. Was
- 6:45Speaker 1: it a very pricey dress? Uh yeah, but it was well,
- 6:50Speaker 1: you know, for a special event. Yeah. Well if you're
- 6:53Speaker 1: if you, I'm gonna give Ulah Johnson a shout out
- 6:55Speaker 1: because Casey looks very, very pretty. And we're talking about
- 6:59Speaker 1: that funny moment when Donald had to say a sentence.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I never thought i'd ever hear donald say, can we
- 7:05Speaker 1: take a picture without Harrison Ford? Can we just save?
- 7:10Speaker 1: Was this? Was that not the most amazing memory of
- 7:14Speaker 1: all time? Well, it's just so funny. Of all, as
- 7:17Speaker 1: long as I've known Donalds, his favorite star in the
- 7:20Speaker 1: world is Harrison Ford. He's never met him, now, is he? Now?
- 7:23Speaker 1: He We've done the reason he became an actor, dud, dude.
- 7:27Speaker 1: We've done shows together. I've been in the same room
- 7:31Speaker 1: as him, Like we once did a Conan together and
- 7:34Speaker 1: he recorded his. He prerecorded his, so he wasn't there.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I got there thinking I'm gonna meet Harrison Ford, and shit,
- 7:41Speaker 1: I'm like, it's tonight, and I got my stories prepared
- 7:44Speaker 1: like it's Conan too, like, so I'm ready for it.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I get there, Harrison Ford's not there. Harrison Ford already precorded.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Did you talk about him? No, we didn't talk anything.
- 7:55Speaker 1: We didn't say anything. He wasn't But when we heard
- 7:58Speaker 1: he was going to be at the party, I almost
- 8:00Speaker 1: aborted because I said he started crying. Literally he had tears,
- 8:04Speaker 1: and I was like, oh God, I can't, we can't go.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I can't let you go down in flames like this.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I was just worried that Donald was going to drink
- 8:11Speaker 1: too much and then like hazy and get woozy and
- 8:14Speaker 1: get crazy crazy. Can I tell you what he said?
- 8:18Speaker 1: We're driving. First of all, we get in the car
- 8:20Speaker 1: and we're pulling out. I was like, okay, are we
- 8:22Speaker 1: going to talk about it? He was like, I'm mad cool,
- 8:25Speaker 1: I'm mad cool. Okay. So we get home and he's
- 8:28Speaker 1: like drooling over the picture looking at it, and then
- 8:32Speaker 1: he said, I can't believe you did this shit to
- 8:35Speaker 1: me again. And I said what he said, You've got
- 8:38Speaker 1: in the middle right between the two of us and
- 8:40Speaker 1: the picture. It was it was just like the Obama pick.
- 8:44Speaker 1: I was like, I was like, are you kidding me?
- 8:48Speaker 1: Like he was. He was angry at a Look at
- 8:51Speaker 1: the Obama pick with me and Obama. Casey's right in
- 8:54Speaker 1: the middle of it. Look at the picture and Harrison
- 8:56Speaker 1: Ford's right in the middle of the one, the one
- 9:00Speaker 1: from the photo booths, the one from the photo booth
- 9:02Speaker 1: that you posted. He looks like a cutout. And a
- 9:04Speaker 1: lot of people because they know how much you love him,
- 9:07Speaker 1: thought like, oh, I was photoshopped or a cutout or something.
- 9:10Speaker 1: But the ones I took from the side. Look look amazing.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Thank god I saved the day. First of all, how
- 9:17Speaker 1: great does he look? He looks amazing and he's so
- 9:19Speaker 1: friendly by the way everyone then you know, Andrew Watt
- 9:22Speaker 1: was there and they were like, let's do a silly one,
- 9:24Speaker 1: you know, and he was like putting the ears underneath
- 9:26Speaker 1: his chin and being silly and like he was like
- 9:29Speaker 1: so so friendly and like cool, amazing, he was everything.
- 9:32Speaker 1: It made me a lot less afraid to direct him.
- 9:35Speaker 1: But you know, because I was, you got to bring
- 9:38Speaker 1: you a game, man. You can't fuck around as Harrison
- 9:40Speaker 1: for it. Bro. No, I always bring my a game.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Do you think I ever don't bring my a game
- 9:44Speaker 1: to my directing career. You know, I'm going to take
- 9:47Speaker 1: this one off one Harrison different. But it's party Harrison. No,
- 9:51Speaker 1: of course. But it's always cool to meet someone before
- 9:55Speaker 1: you show up on set and you're like, hey man,
- 9:57Speaker 1: it was a great meeting you at the party, and
- 10:00Speaker 1: now let's do the show. So glad he wasn't an asshole.
- 10:03Speaker 1: And we've got the holiday card that keeps on giving.
- 10:07Speaker 1: It's going to be a Christmas card, our New Year's card,
- 10:12Speaker 1: Donald's Birthday card everything, all right, I gotta go. Let's
- 10:17Speaker 1: get in the show. Everybody five six shows stories about
- 10:21Speaker 1: show we made about a bunch of docs and nurses,
- 10:26Speaker 1: And I said, he's the stories never so Gado around you?
- 10:35Speaker 1: Here are Gato around you here? M hm, So this
- 10:43Speaker 1: show is pretty funny, Donald, I laughed. I did not.
- 10:48Speaker 1: I did not, No, not at all all right now,
- 10:52Speaker 1: moments last week there were moments where I was like, oh, yeah,
- 10:55Speaker 1: there were moments like that. I was like, oh, that's funny.
- 10:58Speaker 1: But there are some classic lines in this episode that
- 11:01Speaker 1: are like Scrubs classics. Well, there's one scene that I
- 11:05Speaker 1: laughed at and we'll get to it later, but that
- 11:07Speaker 1: shit had me rolling. And also it was because who
- 11:09Speaker 1: was in the scene as well. It's called My Perspective,
- 11:12Speaker 1: written by the lovely and talented Andrew Nissel and directed
- 11:17Speaker 1: by John Putch, and um JD's not feeling well, we
- 11:21Speaker 1: don't really know. Oh oh he has vaso. I don't
- 11:25Speaker 1: even how to say it, vas vasil syncopapy whatever, Joel,
- 11:30Speaker 1: can you get the correct pronunciation for this? It means
- 11:35Speaker 1: that one can pass out while pooing, yeah, amongst other Yeah,
- 11:40Speaker 1: you're nude and most of the cold opening. Yes, Zoey,
- 11:43Speaker 1: I didn't look too good. I wish i'd work now
- 11:45Speaker 1: you had that you still had the v thing on
- 11:46Speaker 1: the sides. No, I didn't have sea gutters. I was not.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Probably I'm in Miami. We never addressed the fact that
- 11:54Speaker 1: I'm in Miami. This is my first live show from Miami.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Do you have sea gutters right now? I'm not. I
- 12:00Speaker 1: don't have full sea gutters, but i'm but I've been
- 12:03Speaker 1: working my way back to shape. Are they d gutters?
- 12:06Speaker 1: Do you want to see the view from um where
- 12:08Speaker 1: I am? Yes, m that's gorgeous. That's it's dirty windows,
- 12:17Speaker 1: but that's the beach. I don't know anyone here though,
- 12:21Speaker 1: I mean I know I know Bill who's not currently
- 12:24Speaker 1: in town. Dude, you just did a movie with Gabrielle Union.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Now you she used to run that town. Hit her
- 12:30Speaker 1: up and be like yo, what should Yeah? And I
- 12:34Speaker 1: she played your wife in that awesome movie Cheaper by
- 12:36Speaker 1: the Dozen. That daughter can't get enough of Cheaper by
- 12:40Speaker 1: the Dozen, everybody. In case you missed it, Donald, thank
- 12:42Speaker 1: you for the plug. It's on Disney Plus. You should
- 12:44Speaker 1: really watch it. I also recently learned that Garden State
- 12:47Speaker 1: has an interesting uh trivia about it. Not only is
- 12:51Speaker 1: it on Disney Plus because Disney bought Fox, but it's
- 12:54Speaker 1: also on Amazon Prime Video, so you can watch that
- 12:57Speaker 1: movie I made in either place. But yes, a cheaper
- 13:01Speaker 1: rather doesn't with Gabrielle Union is on Disney Plus. And
- 13:03Speaker 1: I shouldn't hit up Gabby and say where's the spot?
- 13:08Speaker 1: I'm not gonna go, n But you don't mean to
- 13:09Speaker 1: go to the spot. You just want to get some
- 13:11Speaker 1: good food. I already know I have some good restaurant
- 13:14Speaker 1: hook up. You want to do? You want to hang
- 13:15Speaker 1: out with some good people? I have a hook up.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Amanda's got friends to have a boat, and they're gonna
- 13:20Speaker 1: and they're gonna take me on on their boat, because
- 13:22Speaker 1: you know, I like a boat. Do you like a boat?
- 13:27Speaker 1: You like a fishing boat? I mean I love a boat.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Biami is like boat culture, and there's boats everywhere. Yeah,
- 13:35Speaker 1: but it's the cigarette boats. No. I didn't want a
- 13:37Speaker 1: Miami vice. But what I want? No, these people have
- 13:40Speaker 1: a nice boat. I'm gonna go out with them and
- 13:43Speaker 1: drink rose. I like that. That sounds great. Do you
- 13:46Speaker 1: want to come down for the weekend? No? Please, please,
- 13:50Speaker 1: I'll fly you I can't. I miss you, motherfucker. We
- 13:54Speaker 1: just saw each other, I know, but it would Casey,
- 13:57Speaker 1: let you fly down for the weekend and see what
- 14:00Speaker 1: we get into. I got a boat. If I see
- 14:02Speaker 1: what you're trying to get into, you'd be happy to know.
- 14:06Speaker 1: I don't have the buttons with me in Miami. Daniel
- 14:09Speaker 1: can put in what you're trying to get into. It
- 14:11Speaker 1: what you're trying to get into a day shoon or
- 14:14Speaker 1: what you're trying to do. Yeah, she look, if I
- 14:18Speaker 1: would bring her up here right now, she'd be like, absolutely,
- 14:20Speaker 1: you should go, you should totally go. But if I
- 14:22Speaker 1: ask her off air, she'd be like, get the fuck
- 14:24Speaker 1: out of here. I don't know. I will pay you
- 14:27Speaker 1: for your flight. Oh, here we go. Vaiso vagel syncope,
- 14:34Speaker 1: vaso vagil. I think that's supposed to be a just sound, right,
- 14:38Speaker 1: vaso vagil syncope. I'm sorry to all you doctors and
- 14:42Speaker 1: nurses who know what that is and you're laughing at me.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I'm a fake doctor, but that is a joell. Can
- 14:47Speaker 1: you google or Wikipedia what it actually is? We just know.
- 14:51Speaker 1: We just know that you can you can pass out
- 14:53Speaker 1: from pooping if you haven't, well, you're nude most of
- 14:56Speaker 1: the cold open dude. Yes, and my penis is hidden
- 15:00Speaker 1: every time. Yes, I'm seeing doctor Cox down feel well.
- 15:04Speaker 1: He's mean to me, he says, oh, look at that
- 15:06Speaker 1: you have a penis. Of course we're introduced to me
- 15:09Speaker 1: losh odd timing with this horror in Ukraine. But I'm
- 15:13Speaker 1: assuming he's from a war torn area like that, because
- 15:19Speaker 1: he's he's that seems to be what he's playing. But um,
- 15:22Speaker 1: then Donald describes to me that man is the only
- 15:26Speaker 1: animal that wears pants during twosies. Well, because man, that's
- 15:33Speaker 1: that's true, the truth you are speaking. You are preaching truth.
- 15:37Speaker 1: But we are the only animal on this planet with consciousness. Well, no,
- 15:44Speaker 1: with what would you call it? That? Where's how would
- 15:46Speaker 1: you phrase it? Daniel that wears pants? I think clothing
- 15:51Speaker 1: it's local to you know, humans, So yes, we would
- 15:56Speaker 1: be the only animal. We are the only animals that
- 15:57Speaker 1: were clothing by choice. I think, right, it's like true,
- 16:01Speaker 1: that's no. But there might be birds that no, no, bro,
- 16:06Speaker 1: No monkeys might cover something. No, bro, there's no monkey.
- 16:09Speaker 1: That's like yo, man, I'm just gonna grow a lot
- 16:11Speaker 1: of hair around here because I'm ashamed of my penis
- 16:14Speaker 1: and I don't want nobody to see right, right, that's okay.
- 16:18Speaker 1: So this disease or this problem is a brief loss
- 16:21Speaker 1: of consciousness due to a neurologically induced drop in blood
- 16:24Speaker 1: pressure and or decrease in heart rate. Before an affected
- 16:28Speaker 1: person passes out, there may be sweating and decreased ability
- 16:31Speaker 1: to see or ringing in the ears. Occasionally, the person
- 16:34Speaker 1: may twitch while unconscious. It looks like they're having a seizure. Yes,
- 16:40Speaker 1: so there you go. That's why. That's what happens to JD.
- 16:42Speaker 1: He's got this thing and may never addressed. We know,
- 16:46Speaker 1: we know that Judy has a cane because she's broken himp.
- 16:48Speaker 1: We've spoken on the podcast. It's never addressed at all
- 16:50Speaker 1: in the episode by Judy as a king, Like, why
- 16:52Speaker 1: not add a line? All of a sudden, Juda just
- 16:54Speaker 1: has a cane? Yeah, out the window. Can we just
- 16:58Speaker 1: add a line? Guys, can we had a line to
- 17:01Speaker 1: explain the king or just gonna king the episode? I
- 17:04Speaker 1: think it's crazy that uh huh JD is timing his
- 17:09Speaker 1: twoosies around when the neighbors go to couples counseling. Yes,
- 17:17Speaker 1: I didn't laugh at that, but I was like, oh,
- 17:18Speaker 1: that's pretty clever. And they've got this spy equipment. Yeah
- 17:22Speaker 1: that uh that Turk bought j D for. Why did
- 17:27Speaker 1: you buy me spying? I am not I forget, I
- 17:29Speaker 1: don't I don't remember. Okay, but you use it. But
- 17:33Speaker 1: we use it to find out when they're leaving. No,
- 17:37Speaker 1: so that, yeah, I guess. So, yeah, why do we
- 17:40Speaker 1: use it when we see them leave? It's not really explained.
- 17:43Speaker 1: We see them leave. And then why are you listening
- 17:46Speaker 1: to me poohing? Because you've got an Anglo it's really weird.
- 17:50Speaker 1: And then they arrive. First of all, No, it's more
- 17:54Speaker 1: complicated in that they went to they drove and went
- 17:57Speaker 1: to an hour session of couples counseling and then drove
- 18:00Speaker 1: ac So what the fuck were you thinking while I
- 18:02Speaker 1: was gone for an hour and a half. Well, I
- 18:04Speaker 1: guess I'm listening to you, so I knew you were
- 18:06Speaker 1: just sitting there. I don't. I don't know. There's a
- 18:10Speaker 1: there's a there's a break in the logic because why
- 18:13Speaker 1: wouldn't if your friend went to go pooh and he
- 18:15Speaker 1: was gone for an hour and a half, wouldn't you?
- 18:17Speaker 1: And this is before but I also have the I
- 18:19Speaker 1: have the spy equipment, Tim, But it's not hearing anything
- 18:22Speaker 1: because I'm passed out. Because so, I mean, I didn't
- 18:26Speaker 1: hear you fall off the toilet either, like I didn't
- 18:28Speaker 1: hear it. You may not even listening at that point.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Come my own buddy. Anyway, anyway, moving on, Buzz Donna,
- 18:35Speaker 1: how is counseling, he says, from the floor naked of
- 18:39Speaker 1: their bathroom. Buzz is mad my. Yeah, that's what opens
- 18:45Speaker 1: that closes the cold open. My name is Bob Kelsel,
- 18:48Speaker 1: and I like horse and I love horse. No, I
- 18:52Speaker 1: love horse. I love horse. And that's his example of saying, yeah,
- 18:55Speaker 1: that's his that's his intro. He called the meeting to
- 19:01Speaker 1: say that we shouldn't be telling patients the truth. And
- 19:04Speaker 1: that's an example of a truth that he's not going
- 19:05Speaker 1: to tell. Pe you wrote it down pretty much the
- 19:10Speaker 1: exact same way. And then and then he goes into
- 19:13Speaker 1: a whole lot. Then I have to go into an
- 19:14Speaker 1: elaborate story of about a woman who ended up sucking
- 19:18Speaker 1: on helium and and yelled, I'll kill you because she
- 19:24Speaker 1: sucked on a helium tank from pediatrics. And then and
- 19:28Speaker 1: then Ted says, and he goes, what's going to happen
- 19:31Speaker 1: now to that woman because she got injured and we
- 19:33Speaker 1: told her the truth and Ted said, girlfriend's gonna get heide.
- 19:40Speaker 1: So yeah, uh, the janitor is going on vacation. He's
- 19:44Speaker 1: going on a custodial cruise. Donald, I smelled. I knew
- 19:48Speaker 1: there was something fishing Mark from the beginning of it.
- 19:50Speaker 1: I didn't realize that it was fake, did you. I
- 19:53Speaker 1: knew right away. There's no way he is an elaborate
- 19:57Speaker 1: you know, sometimes the Janitor's schemes are or not that elaborate.
- 20:00Speaker 1: This one took a lot of time and involved a wolf. Yeah,
- 20:04Speaker 1: and it fails in the end. Spoiler alert, Sorry spoiler alert. Well,
- 20:09Speaker 1: I think if you watched the show, you watched the show.
- 20:11Speaker 1: But it's a little bit like Wildly Coyote. I mean,
- 20:13Speaker 1: the janitor and I are always a little bit like
- 20:15Speaker 1: a road runner in the wild Coyote. But this one
- 20:17Speaker 1: really backfires in his face. Yeah, pick time or like
- 20:23Speaker 1: Sylvester and Speedy guns Alice, do you think this was
- 20:26Speaker 1: a real that was a real wolf? It just looked
- 20:29Speaker 1: like a husky. It's pretty big. It's pretty big. It
- 20:35Speaker 1: didn't look like a wolf. But knowing Bill, i'man knowing
- 20:38Speaker 1: Bill and his love of animals, I'm sure it was
- 20:41Speaker 1: a wolf. Okay, I'm sure there was a safety meeting
- 20:44Speaker 1: in everything. Okay, So Elliott is so Elliott is whining
- 20:49Speaker 1: about having sex with me. But Elliott, you know, if
- 20:51Speaker 1: you look back, we had really good sex. I mean
- 20:55Speaker 1: all the sex. Guys had a pizza. You guys at
- 20:57Speaker 1: a whole pizza and we banged all over the Hartman
- 21:00Speaker 1: up against the wall. And I mean, you obviously couldn't
- 21:03Speaker 1: show climaxing on on on NBC, but I believe there
- 21:07Speaker 1: was some tips of the hat to climaxing. Speaking of
- 21:16Speaker 1: Elliott and j D, how great was it to see
- 21:18Speaker 1: Dolly and John at the at the party party, we
- 21:23Speaker 1: saw the children, We saw the real j D and
- 21:26Speaker 1: his wife, Dolly, who to remind you, uh, it was
- 21:29Speaker 1: not only was a show based on on real JD,
- 21:32Speaker 1: but he was He and his wife were the advisors
- 21:36Speaker 1: and we only see them once a year. At Bill's
- 21:38Speaker 1: Easter party, we only see all these people. We saw
- 21:41Speaker 1: johnny C who's ripped as ever. Dude, dude, he looks
- 21:44Speaker 1: very healthy. He's building a deck. He's coming on a show,
- 21:48Speaker 1: by the way. Guy. Yeah, but he's building Donald's dream.
- 21:51Speaker 1: He's building Donald's wet dream in his He's building a
- 21:53Speaker 1: freaking shed for golf. Like, it's a golf simulator in
- 21:57Speaker 1: a shed. Yeah, a golf simul Later that's it's like,
- 22:01Speaker 1: it's yeah, it's a shed that's sole purpose is to
- 22:05Speaker 1: house a golf simulator. Yeah, isn't that what you want?
- 22:09Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, man, Johnny's doing it. He's building it
- 22:16Speaker 1: himself too, man like. But he's the kind of guy
- 22:18Speaker 1: that can do that. So, Daniel, by the way, you
- 22:22Speaker 1: didn't tell us. We get all excited because Johnny sees
- 22:24Speaker 1: telling us about the golf shed, and Donald's like literally
- 22:28Speaker 1: salivating at the idea of a golf simulating shed. I
- 22:32Speaker 1: can't think of anything more golf simulating whatever the fuck
- 22:36Speaker 1: it's called. And then he goes, oh, by the way,
- 22:38Speaker 1: I commissioned the electronics in the computer from Daniel, We're like,
- 22:43Speaker 1: what how did you keep that from us that you
- 22:46Speaker 1: were that you've been commissioned to create the correct computer?
- 22:50Speaker 1: He uh, he hit me up and said, uh, Daniel,
- 22:53Speaker 1: this is the budget I have and uh, I just
- 22:55Speaker 1: needed to do this one thing. Can we make it happen?
- 22:58Speaker 1: I was like, Johnny, I got you. Let's do it.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Wait a second. You you designed the computer that will
- 23:05Speaker 1: be in the golf shed. Yeah, and I actually built
- 23:08Speaker 1: it on stream so you could watch it if you
- 23:09Speaker 1: wanted to do do. Can I ask you a question please?
- 23:12Speaker 1: The one thing that it does is it just a tracker.
- 23:14Speaker 1: That's it. So it's a couple of different parts. One
- 23:17Speaker 1: thing is an actual like unit that is like tracking
- 23:20Speaker 1: his swing, but he needed a PC to run the
- 23:22Speaker 1: whole thing. So it runs a golf simulator program and
- 23:25Speaker 1: it takes in all the data from the tracker itself.
- 23:27Speaker 1: And second way, slow down because I'm concerned if I
- 23:31Speaker 1: buy a very expensive golf simulator that you see online
- 23:33Speaker 1: and Donald probably looks as he's falling asleep at night, Um,
- 23:37Speaker 1: that's a that's a piece of hardware. No. Correct. And
- 23:40Speaker 1: then but that has to be tied to a PC. Correct.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Not only has to be tied to a PC, it
- 23:46Speaker 1: has to be tied to a projector. It has to
- 23:48Speaker 1: be tied like there. And then especially if it's if
- 23:51Speaker 1: it's if it's looking at his swing, if it's paying
- 23:54Speaker 1: attention to its his swing. He also has something that
- 23:59Speaker 1: like it's like if you were to go to someplace
- 24:01Speaker 1: like golf Tech is a perfect example. Yeah, but that
- 24:04Speaker 1: probably all comes with the kit. The kit doesn't come
- 24:08Speaker 1: with I imagine, is not necessary, not necessarily. Usually all
- 24:12Speaker 1: golf simulators it measures. It measures everything from impact so
- 24:17Speaker 1: where the ball gets hit at right, So once it's hit,
- 24:23Speaker 1: the computer tells you the angles and all of that stuff. Yeah,
- 24:27Speaker 1: the numbers that go up and stuff. But if you
- 24:29Speaker 1: have something that's measuring how you're swinging, like his body
- 24:32Speaker 1: and stuff like that, that's something completely different. That sounds
- 24:36Speaker 1: so boring and so so boring. So your faces, but
- 24:41Speaker 1: I don't have any of my buttons to play with,
- 24:43Speaker 1: so you should be happy today. Um, because I'm in
- 24:46Speaker 1: Miami sing it all out then, Yeah, I'm in Miami.
- 24:50Speaker 1: I'm Miami. I don't even want to sing the songs
- 24:53Speaker 1: that that are most coming to my mind these days.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Um danel um, Yes, sir, you built the computer I did,
- 25:02Speaker 1: and you streamed it. So if people want to see
- 25:05Speaker 1: if people are geeked out about shit like that, they
- 25:07Speaker 1: could go on the YouTube. So how do they find it?
- 25:09Speaker 1: They could go on my Twitch channel. Um, I might
- 25:12Speaker 1: post it on YouTube as well as its own dedicated
- 25:14Speaker 1: computer building stream but um, yeah, it was like an
- 25:17Speaker 1: hour and a half on it only took an hour
- 25:18Speaker 1: and a half. Yeah, you know what to buy, and
- 25:22Speaker 1: then you and you and then you just put it
- 25:24Speaker 1: all together. I just put it all together. Now, Johnny,
- 25:26Speaker 1: C's scary. I hope you did it right. I think
- 25:29Speaker 1: I didn't. I think I didn't want to. I wouldn't
- 25:31Speaker 1: want to fuck it up. No worries. I already tested
- 25:34Speaker 1: it out. I actually installed all of the software on
- 25:36Speaker 1: the computer before I gave it to him, So it
- 25:38Speaker 1: is good to go. Do they have rumble packs yet
- 25:42Speaker 1: for a golf simulator? No, for like let's say, you know,
- 25:49Speaker 1: Star Wars flight simulator. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. I mean it
- 25:53Speaker 1: really depends on the controller you get. And again this
- 25:55Speaker 1: could be a longer conversation, but like, yeah, I'm talking
- 25:59Speaker 1: about like board golf anymore. Shut up, you look up,
- 26:04Speaker 1: you shut the fun. I will fucking fly home and
- 26:07Speaker 1: kick your fucking golf coming back. Then, come do it
- 26:11Speaker 1: what I'm doing. Come first, you come here for boat
- 26:14Speaker 1: day and I'll fucking push you in the water. Oh yeah,
- 26:16Speaker 1: you can come down there, and I'd like to see
- 26:18Speaker 1: you fucking try. This is how I fucking get there.
- 26:21Speaker 1: I fucking get down there to tell me. I'm if
- 26:24Speaker 1: I'm coming down there, motherfucker. Yeah, because you gotta shy
- 26:27Speaker 1: and push me. But when you do, I'm gonna fucking
- 26:30Speaker 1: move out of the way and I'm gonna push you. Yeah,
- 26:32Speaker 1: and then I'm gonna wrestle you in one of the births.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I'll wrestle you. Do you know what the birth is? No,
- 26:40Speaker 1: that's a boat bedroom. I'll wrestle you on a schooner.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I'll wrestle you want a scooner? Man? Don't you want
- 26:49Speaker 1: to wave run together? I don't know anyone here. I'm
- 26:54Speaker 1: telling you different wave runners right, not like one wave
- 26:57Speaker 1: running to No, we can't be on one wave runner.
- 27:00Speaker 1: That's crazy. But I We're gonna go to break Joel.
- 27:04Speaker 1: But I do want to say, do you think that
- 27:05Speaker 1: Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union's friends are gonna want to
- 27:08Speaker 1: hang out with me? No, but they'll definitely point you
- 27:11Speaker 1: in a direction of someplace that they you know that
- 27:13Speaker 1: you can go and have a good time. You know
- 27:15Speaker 1: who I ran into on the street the other day.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I went to dinner with some friends that a man
- 27:20Speaker 1: to introduce me to. Who are lovely? Who are my
- 27:22Speaker 1: new boat friends. And um, I'm walking home and some
- 27:26Speaker 1: guy yells Zach Braff. And when someone yells your name
- 27:30Speaker 1: on the street, you're wearing right, especially if Miami man.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Don't fuck around, dude, they'll get your ass. They will
- 27:38Speaker 1: get your ass in Miami. Clack clack. Really, I should
- 27:43Speaker 1: be afraid of gun mine. I didn't know. I didn't
- 27:46Speaker 1: think I was trying shot you, Zack. I don't think
- 27:48Speaker 1: I was trying to come after you. Click click clack
- 27:51Speaker 1: clack kick kick bam. I was not listen. I got
- 27:56Speaker 1: a welcome package. It did not include be careful of
- 27:59Speaker 1: gun play. I motherfuck, are you in Dade County? Click click,
- 28:05Speaker 1: clock click all that shit talking. He was talking about
- 28:07Speaker 1: the Santis here they come click, But in South Beach,
- 28:14Speaker 1: that's where I am. I don't want to be clop clop,
- 28:16Speaker 1: clip clop clip clop anyway. So I turn around because
- 28:23Speaker 1: it's hard to not turn around and someone says your name.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I mean, try it. It's hard. But even though you
- 28:27Speaker 1: know it might be a fan, or it might be
- 28:30Speaker 1: just a drunk person, you just don't know. But I
- 28:33Speaker 1: instinctively turned around and it was Baron Davis. What and
- 28:38Speaker 1: I'm friendly with Baron Davis. Do you know who he is?
- 28:40Speaker 1: Donald's a SPAVI, He's a sports player. What does he
- 28:45Speaker 1: play for? He used to be used to play basketball
- 28:50Speaker 1: for one of the LA teams. I don't know what's team.
- 28:53Speaker 1: What LA team did he play for? Is he just
- 28:55Speaker 1: said your friend because you said you're friendly with him?
- 28:57Speaker 1: What lad play? I was friendly with him after he retired,
- 29:00Speaker 1: but I believe it was the Lakes. You believe wrong, clup.
- 29:05Speaker 1: I do know who fucking Baron Davis is. Ha ha.
- 29:08Speaker 1: It was a trick fucking answer. You don't really know him.
- 29:12Speaker 1: I do know him, but I know him from after
- 29:14Speaker 1: he retired. Um he um he's I went to high
- 29:18Speaker 1: school Kate Hudson and Kate Hudson used to have really
- 29:21Speaker 1: fun game nights and he was really always the game
- 29:24Speaker 1: nights and he was fun and he was awesome, and
- 29:26Speaker 1: we became friends. And I haven't seen him in years,
- 29:28Speaker 1: but there he was giving me, giving me a warm hug.
- 29:32Speaker 1: That's awesome. We should have exchanged numbers. Maybe I'll get
- 29:36Speaker 1: his number from Kaden. I'll have a friend. You guys
- 29:40Speaker 1: didn't go to the club, not really a going club
- 29:43Speaker 1: kind of guy. These this this stage, you know, forty
- 29:46Speaker 1: seven Miami. I don't want to be at the club.
- 29:49Speaker 1: My fuck, it's Miami. There's a bunch of my fuck
- 29:51Speaker 1: is your age at the club? What are you talking about?
- 29:53Speaker 1: And I don't want to do the good club. I
- 29:54Speaker 1: want to go to a nice I want to go
- 29:55Speaker 1: to a nice restaurant. I want to be at the beach.
- 29:57Speaker 1: I don't want to be everybody everybody and shit, it's
- 30:03Speaker 1: like it's like it's like brazil Man in Miami. Ain't
- 30:07Speaker 1: it like every No, it's just not at the party. No,
- 30:10Speaker 1: I'm saying, I'm not into that's Miami, you know. Like
- 30:15Speaker 1: you know when back in the day, we used to
- 30:16Speaker 1: be into like bottle service and they bring you like
- 30:18Speaker 1: champagne with a sparkler in it. I can't think of
- 30:21Speaker 1: anything less interesting keeping one hundred. Nobody was in the
- 30:23Speaker 1: bottle service unless that shit was for free keeping one hundred,
- 30:27Speaker 1: keeping one hundred, and they bring it it's your birthday
- 30:31Speaker 1: and they bring like the sparklers and they dance around
- 30:34Speaker 1: and they get the bottle. That's the only time you're
- 30:36Speaker 1: in the bottle service is when it's like free. That
- 30:39Speaker 1: shit's so stupid. I'm sorry. I don't get me wrong.
- 30:42Speaker 1: We did it, we participated, but but at hashtag forty
- 30:46Speaker 1: seven forty eight, we're too old for that. Bullshit cuts
- 30:50Speaker 1: to me in a night check them out. He's gonna
- 30:54Speaker 1: leave forever. No, that's not gonna happen. All right, we're
- 30:57Speaker 1: gonna break and we come back. We're gonna talk about
- 30:59Speaker 1: how you can pass out when you poop, and we're back.
- 31:10Speaker 1: You promised them. We talk about how you could pass
- 31:12Speaker 1: out when you poop. Well, I'll be careful. It's a thing.
- 31:14Speaker 1: It's a real thing. So when you're pooping, make sure
- 31:17Speaker 1: you're holding on. Just hold on. We're going home. Do
- 31:25Speaker 1: you check the toilet paper dollar as you're wiping yourself
- 31:28Speaker 1: to see everybody does? I'm told that some don't. Why
- 31:32Speaker 1: how do you know how much is left? You check?
- 31:35Speaker 1: I just got gauge. What you gotta gauge? You got
- 31:38Speaker 1: a gauge by what's on there? Yeah, I'm told that
- 31:42Speaker 1: some people just go with God and trust. Those people
- 31:47Speaker 1: got itchy, but they got itchy butt or burned. But yeah, right, anyway,
- 31:54Speaker 1: Um Elliott's whining about sex with ad I spoke about that.
- 31:57Speaker 1: That was bullshit. Carla has a cane. That's not a
- 32:00Speaker 1: explained the pan raise what the fuck was that? But
- 32:02Speaker 1: Eliot also wished her teacher had hit on her. Oh,
- 32:05Speaker 1: there's a fun fact about the pants. Those weren't real pants.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Those are because it would be almost impossible and you're
- 32:11Speaker 1: slip and bust your ass. Yeah. I don't know if
- 32:13Speaker 1: Johnny Yo made it, but somebody made soft where they foam? Yeah,
- 32:19Speaker 1: they were made out of foam and we ran on
- 32:22Speaker 1: in that. Yeah, you would have slipped your fucking your
- 32:25Speaker 1: head open. There's a lot of Scrubs Wiki on this episode.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Let me tell you some things, um, how to learn?
- 32:34Speaker 1: What to learn? Um the toddtime dot com, which is
- 32:38Speaker 1: no longer active. Of course, he's wearing that shirt and
- 32:41Speaker 1: it went to it used to go to a website
- 32:43Speaker 1: of him just in a banana hammock flexing his muscles.
- 32:49Speaker 1: But if you want to see it, apparently, go to
- 32:51Speaker 1: Scrubs wiki and there's a link to something called the
- 32:53Speaker 1: way back Machine which will enable you to see um
- 32:58Speaker 1: Rob shaking his ding dong around. Can I ask you
- 33:02Speaker 1: a question, Zach, Yeah, are you getting like good room
- 33:06Speaker 1: service right now? No? Because I'm in a condo, I
- 33:09Speaker 1: don't have I'm not in a hotel, so I don't
- 33:11Speaker 1: have what why why asking that? Of all things? I
- 33:14Speaker 1: got the Munchie's bro anyway, Um, all right, well, um,
- 33:19Speaker 1: what's what? What? What's the strand of a weed that
- 33:22Speaker 1: you are enjoyed? Maybe those of us, those of our
- 33:25Speaker 1: listeners who like weed might be curious to know what
- 33:27Speaker 1: it's called. This one was called animal face. Oh, animal face, Okay,
- 33:31Speaker 1: animal face if you're interested in animal face. Donald highly
- 33:35Speaker 1: recommends it, no pun intended. Um, here's some other things
- 33:39Speaker 1: from the um. So okay, So that that fantasy where
- 33:43Speaker 1: I'm Frankenstein's monster. Now everyone, let's make sure we're clear.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Frankenstein is the doctor. That was the best. That was
- 33:50Speaker 1: where I laughed. That's the one time I laughed. Are
- 33:53Speaker 1: you wait, Donald, that's not Frankenstein. That's Frankenstein's monster. No,
- 33:59Speaker 1: I know that, of course it's okay. Well I'm saying
- 34:03Speaker 1: is if you're one of those people out there still
- 34:06Speaker 1: calling that thing Frankenstein. No, Frankenstein is the doctor. It's okay. Well, anyway,
- 34:13Speaker 1: the angry mob that that, and I'm like, I'm like,
- 34:15Speaker 1: I'm really not into fire the main guy who I'm
- 34:19Speaker 1: arguing with because I ate. His sister is Patrick Bolton.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Didn't we have Patrick on I forgot. There's so many shows.
- 34:29Speaker 1: I don't think we've been talking about it forever. Patrick Joe,
- 34:34Speaker 1: Well we got. I mean we're in season six, this
- 34:36Speaker 1: shit's almost over. We should have We should have Patrick Bolton.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Patrick Bolton was our best friend on the show. So
- 34:43Speaker 1: he's a set dresser on the onset dresser, which is
- 34:47Speaker 1: the person who's decorating the set and moving stuff around
- 34:50Speaker 1: while you know, they'll say it's a it's a tricky
- 34:52Speaker 1: position and hard position because everyone's always yelling your name
- 34:56Speaker 1: and always Patrick, we gotta get the desk out of
- 34:59Speaker 1: here so we can put the ca right. He really
- 35:01Speaker 1: only had two specialties, you know what I mean. Well,
- 35:04Speaker 1: Patrick figured out that he could put everything on wheels,
- 35:08Speaker 1: which was smart because they didn't get much of a
- 35:10Speaker 1: budget to have a coworker. So what happens when you're
- 35:14Speaker 1: on a set and they're like, get this couch out
- 35:16Speaker 1: of here, Patrick, we're putting the camera here, Like what
- 35:18Speaker 1: is he supposed to like drag a couch by himself.
- 35:21Speaker 1: So it's because they barely ever paid for him to
- 35:23Speaker 1: have an assistant, and he just he figured out that
- 35:27Speaker 1: he put everything on wheat on hidden wheels. There was
- 35:31Speaker 1: a specialty. Yeah, we made up a song and he
- 35:33Speaker 1: was like, it's May Special. He was English, so we
- 35:36Speaker 1: were like, it's May Special. T Oh. The other thing
- 35:39Speaker 1: he had to do was set the clocks because the
- 35:41Speaker 1: clocks on set or don't have batteries in them right,
- 35:43Speaker 1: otherwise they'll be moving during the scene and the continuity
- 35:45Speaker 1: be all. So he always had to be like, hey,
- 35:47Speaker 1: what time is it in this scene? And the set
- 35:50Speaker 1: dresser's responsibility is to set the time of the clock.
- 35:53Speaker 1: So the song went, It's May Special tea daily and
- 35:57Speaker 1: wave clocks saying way anyway, we love Patrick, we have
- 36:06Speaker 1: got we had a lot of fun with Patrick. Oh
- 36:08Speaker 1: we've got some. We've had some of the best times
- 36:10Speaker 1: in my life with Patrick in Vegas and several times
- 36:14Speaker 1: in Vegas with Patrick. He's a great guy. He still
- 36:18Speaker 1: I think um might work on one of Bill's shows
- 36:21Speaker 1: at Randall shows. But he's a great guy. I run
- 36:23Speaker 1: into him every now and then, Like there was one
- 36:25Speaker 1: time I was trying to get I mean, he declined
- 36:27Speaker 1: to do it, obviously, but I wanted him to be
- 36:30Speaker 1: on the exes like they had him day play for once,
- 36:33Speaker 1: and I thought he was so great. We had a
- 36:34Speaker 1: great set dresser to Denise was amazing. But uh, but
- 36:37Speaker 1: she was I don't know if she was gone. I
- 36:39Speaker 1: don't know what it was. But he came in and
- 36:41Speaker 1: he was and I was like, dude, it's an opening
- 36:43Speaker 1: YouTube coming. He's like, now, I don't want to do
- 36:45Speaker 1: this shit, but I fucking would have loved to hang
- 36:47Speaker 1: out with Patrick. He was actually, you know, there's we
- 36:51Speaker 1: talk We talked about how great the crew is and
- 36:53Speaker 1: all of that stuff. But it's rare that you make like,
- 36:58Speaker 1: honest to goodness friend that you want to hang out
- 37:01Speaker 1: with on the crew. Like on set, you guys make
- 37:04Speaker 1: each other laugh, you know, but on Scrubs we had
- 37:06Speaker 1: quite a few people on the crew that just you know,
- 37:09Speaker 1: we had poker nights together, we had you know, close,
- 37:13Speaker 1: we got really close. But it's rare. It's rare, especially
- 37:16Speaker 1: now that you'd ever do fucking nine years of people
- 37:19Speaker 1: and we just kind of became so close to these people.
- 37:22Speaker 1: And and and it also goes to say, not the
- 37:24Speaker 1: tutor on Horn, but Donald and I are the most
- 37:26Speaker 1: like you know, some people were like, oh hey, hey,
- 37:29Speaker 1: how are you Donald? And I are the opposite of like,
- 37:32Speaker 1: you know, we we chill with the crew, We did
- 37:34Speaker 1: everything with the crew. We had lunch with the crew.
- 37:35Speaker 1: We we we party with the crew. We had blast. Yeah. Man,
- 37:40Speaker 1: No one thing that's been One thing that's been so
- 37:42Speaker 1: weird about the COVID and filming is there's just no
- 37:44Speaker 1: contact at all with the crew because everyone's got masks
- 37:48Speaker 1: on and you and you don't really have much of
- 37:50Speaker 1: a of a interaction. Although you know, I'm gonna be
- 37:55Speaker 1: honest with you, I try and everything that I worked
- 37:57Speaker 1: that I've worked on since COVID started, to still try
- 38:00Speaker 1: and be as fun as I possibly can be on
- 38:03Speaker 1: set without being disruptive. You know. It's just tricky though,
- 38:07Speaker 1: because like with a mask, it's hard to even know
- 38:09Speaker 1: who people are. Yeah. Yeah, but I still try and
- 38:15Speaker 1: I try and do it man, you know, because you know,
- 38:19Speaker 1: as an actor, we're there for such a little you know,
- 38:21Speaker 1: such a little bit of time. Had so much harder
- 38:25Speaker 1: than the actors do, and so you know, I get it,
- 38:29Speaker 1: you know, to come in and be like, oh my god,
- 38:31Speaker 1: I've been here for like four hours and and and
- 38:34Speaker 1: I haven't worked, and to think that they've been there
- 38:37Speaker 1: for that time plus whatever, and actors get breaks like
- 38:42Speaker 1: the crews like there's not a lot of downtime for
- 38:45Speaker 1: the crew. And so there's our shout out to the
- 38:48Speaker 1: amazing hard working people in the film industry. Um, I
- 38:53Speaker 1: um get handsy with myself. This is the first time
- 38:56Speaker 1: I think that we see that I that I get
- 38:59Speaker 1: handsy with my How funny I get drunk. Yes, I
- 39:03Speaker 1: think that was that something that I forgot it that's
- 39:06Speaker 1: come up before. It's a runner. But I but that's
- 39:08Speaker 1: pretty funny. You reveal me. You know, you think it's
- 39:11Speaker 1: going to be the standard hands like you're getting gropy
- 39:14Speaker 1: with with a woman, but I'm actually groping myself. Yeah,
- 39:17Speaker 1: this is one of my favorite jokes of the show too.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Billy Ocean love one to run Billy after the Arctic
- 39:26Speaker 1: and Pacific, You're my favorite ocean after the Atlantic. I
- 39:29Speaker 1: think it is it the argue of the Atlantic. I
- 39:32Speaker 1: don't know which every white works with the other one
- 39:34Speaker 1: after the Atlantic or Pacific, you're my favorite ocean. Yeah. Well,
- 39:38Speaker 1: Jad's hammered um and hands and Elliott told him to
- 39:43Speaker 1: not drive his schoon home, so he walks at home.
- 39:46Speaker 1: But because he's got the key, in the admission so
- 39:49Speaker 1: he can play a radio that certainly does not exist
- 39:52Speaker 1: on a VESPA, but will accept that as creative license.
- 39:57Speaker 1: The janitor's very elaborate scheme this is part two, is
- 40:01Speaker 1: that he passes the pay phone. The same cop arrives.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Did you call saying there was a wolf? Right? Am
- 40:07Speaker 1: I getting this right? Yeah? And j D says, no,
- 40:10Speaker 1: I know it looks like it, but I'm just answered
- 40:12Speaker 1: the phone wasn't me. And the guy says, well, you're
- 40:15Speaker 1: you've got the key in the condition I'm gonna have
- 40:18Speaker 1: to give you an s s ui, which is scooting
- 40:21Speaker 1: under the influence, which I don't think a cop would
- 40:25Speaker 1: really do, do you? Yes, Joel love to hear the story, please, Jelly.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Joel has a clean record. Okay, let's just set this
- 40:39Speaker 1: the record straight first of all. But also many officers
- 40:43Speaker 1: police officers in my family, and they tell very off
- 40:47Speaker 1: the off the book stories later and yes, for sure,
- 40:50Speaker 1: if if you if they feel your copping attitude with them, No, no, no,
- 40:56Speaker 1: I'm saying the guy like Jay isn't driving the scooter
- 41:02Speaker 1: it's on next to him, which I guess pretty dark
- 41:04Speaker 1: and suspicions if you if you're drunk and you have
- 41:06Speaker 1: keys in the ignissition. That's absolutely a law. In some
- 41:09Speaker 1: places that's a GWI. He'll have to be in a
- 41:12Speaker 1: moving vehicle. Well, there you go. I got an scy
- 41:15Speaker 1: scooting on an influence. Um. The funny thing was that
- 41:26Speaker 1: when the cop goes, have you been drinking sir? And
- 41:28Speaker 1: then it cuts me groping myself on getting handsy with myself.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Did you check? Did you peep the old school quick
- 41:37Speaker 1: time screen with me? Yeah? Yeah, and and um and
- 41:42Speaker 1: they had a scrubbish he had a thing about that
- 41:45Speaker 1: for those of you like funck cups. Um. Um that
- 41:49Speaker 1: that that the dumb In the janitor's email to Ted.
- 41:53Speaker 1: The two and from lines are both the same name,
- 41:58Speaker 1: someone named Ellen, So somebody fucked up. There also another
- 42:03Speaker 1: fuck up. When Turk draws an decision line on Private Dancer,
- 42:06Speaker 1: he draws it on the right side of his abdomen.
- 42:09Speaker 1: A couple of camera views later, the line is on
- 42:12Speaker 1: the left. Somebody fucked up against Sorry? Was that a
- 42:16Speaker 1: real scar? They did a good job? Whoever did it? No?
- 42:21Speaker 1: When Melosh at the end, when he's in the rain yelling,
- 42:24Speaker 1: I don't know, but what was that about? It was
- 42:26Speaker 1: so weird. Why is it's like the Shaw Shank redemption child? Right,
- 42:30Speaker 1: Why is melosan redemption? But it's not rain, It's it's
- 42:34Speaker 1: it's Kelso holding the Why is Kelso holding the hose
- 42:39Speaker 1: on him? I don't know. Story line got cut. Yeah,
- 42:43Speaker 1: it's like this will builds something like this will build
- 42:45Speaker 1: character for later or some shit like that. Like I know,
- 42:48Speaker 1: but I don't understand. I guess Melosh is Kelso's new protege. Well,
- 42:53Speaker 1: you know, it's interesting because I run into that guy.
- 42:56Speaker 1: I run into the guy who plays me Loosh. I
- 42:58Speaker 1: used to, I should say, when I would go into
- 43:00Speaker 1: Hollywood and go into the coffee being. I think this
- 43:03Speaker 1: might be the only episode that he's in, Dude, this one. Yeah,
- 43:07Speaker 1: I think it's this one or maybe one more after this,
- 43:10Speaker 1: But that's it. And we used to talk because we
- 43:12Speaker 1: had a lot of fun making this ship and having
- 43:14Speaker 1: the and having the back and forth that we had,
- 43:17Speaker 1: but this was it. They were trying to clearly trying
- 43:19Speaker 1: to give you a new nemesis because you needed a
- 43:21Speaker 1: new surgical nemesis. I don't know why Milosh didn't hang
- 43:26Speaker 1: out that she was hilarious him in the rain. What
- 43:30Speaker 1: about what about me, and what about me in prison
- 43:34Speaker 1: putting my pants up to poop, dude? And now I
- 43:37Speaker 1: joined a gang and you beat someone into a game,
- 43:42Speaker 1: I initiate them by by kicking them and saying you
- 43:46Speaker 1: you like that, you punk bitch. I mean Jad's time. Now,
- 43:53Speaker 1: now Jad's gang affiliate affiliated. But his whole time in
- 43:57Speaker 1: the slammer, a lot happened. He he he took his
- 44:00Speaker 1: pants off to poop in front of inn and he
- 44:04Speaker 1: passed out because of his condition in front of a
- 44:06Speaker 1: bunch of salemates. He didn't do it. He did this
- 44:09Speaker 1: ship in fucking Central booking. He didn't do this shit
- 44:12Speaker 1: and fucking uh and he did this shit in like
- 44:14Speaker 1: the tombs where they hold you before the court before
- 44:17Speaker 1: you go to court. Yeah, before you go to court. Oh,
- 44:20Speaker 1: I can't even poop. I can't even pooh if there's
- 44:23Speaker 1: a line of of of those of stalls and someone
- 44:27Speaker 1: else's is doing it. Oh, man, I remember, I gotta
- 44:31Speaker 1: I gotta leave. I gotta leave and go to another bathroom.
- 44:34Speaker 1: Second I hear someone, the second I hear someone like
- 44:37Speaker 1: making noises, I get very very self conscious. I had
- 44:42Speaker 1: a friend in high school who had no problems pooping
- 44:44Speaker 1: in I mean sorry, and junior high school, who had
- 44:46Speaker 1: no problems pooping in the in the in the bathrooms,
- 44:49Speaker 1: in the public school bathrooms. And if if anybody who
- 44:52Speaker 1: went to public school, you know how fucked up those bathrooms,
- 44:54Speaker 1: toilets and the toilet paper. Remember the toilet paper it was.
- 45:00Speaker 1: I don't know about your school, but mine wasn't even
- 45:01Speaker 1: like a role because of course the kids would fucking
- 45:03Speaker 1: do shit with the role. So they were like little
- 45:05Speaker 1: slips of almost cardboard. It wasn't try and pull it off,
- 45:09Speaker 1: and it would just break and break and break, and
- 45:11Speaker 1: you had to pull it for like so just to
- 45:12Speaker 1: get a nice little cushion to wipe your ass. I
- 45:15Speaker 1: don't think I ever poops in in in public school.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Never in my life. I had a buddy who had
- 45:20Speaker 1: no problem doing that shit. Yeah, no problem doing that shit. No,
- 45:24Speaker 1: black man, you are bugging. There's no JD poops in
- 45:28Speaker 1: prison naked, No, but no problem with no. Then we
- 45:32Speaker 1: don't really see how he got initiated. Is it the
- 45:34Speaker 1: same ritual? Did JD get kicked on the ground and
- 45:37Speaker 1: they were so impressed by him pooping? Oh you're saying
- 45:41Speaker 1: he got to skip that because they were like, man,
- 45:43Speaker 1: that's hardcore. Dude, props to him. That's fucking hardcore. Yeah.
- 45:47Speaker 1: Melosh was played by Benjamin King and this was his
- 45:50Speaker 1: only appearance. Joel tells us, Benjamin you got you got
- 45:54Speaker 1: done dirty. They did you dirty, but you were funny.
- 45:58Speaker 1: You were very funny. He's done, He's going on to
- 46:00Speaker 1: do other telet I got more questions. I got more
- 46:03Speaker 1: questions about the character of Milosh, Like no, I mean,
- 46:08Speaker 1: it seems like there was more to mine there. Do
- 46:10Speaker 1: you know when he was filling in his name on
- 46:11Speaker 1: the whiteboard because he replaced you, and he kept doing
- 46:14Speaker 1: his last name all long and long, and he's like,
- 46:16Speaker 1: I'll come back and finish later. Okay. So then Cox
- 46:24Speaker 1: tells you that fuck what Kelso saying? You don't lie?
- 46:28Speaker 1: You you draw your own personal line of when you're
- 46:32Speaker 1: going to be blatantly truthful and when you're going to
- 46:38Speaker 1: white lie a bit right? Isn't that the message that
- 46:40Speaker 1: Cox is saying to you? Yeah, I guess so. And
- 46:43Speaker 1: Mikey Weston's back, by the way, Mikey's it's sick as
- 46:47Speaker 1: the whole episode to talk about it, but I'm sorry.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Michael Weston's back is private danswer, and he's having short
- 46:52Speaker 1: term memory loss. And you're there and you're honest with him,
- 46:57Speaker 1: you say you got CS and that's why he has
- 46:59Speaker 1: you replaced with me loos. And then I tell him
- 47:01Speaker 1: again at the end, dude, Yeah, I got to seize
- 47:04Speaker 1: I was an average student. But then I give him
- 47:07Speaker 1: the I give him more of my truth. I guess. Yeah.
- 47:11Speaker 1: And when I decided to be a doctor, I changed
- 47:14Speaker 1: my I changed my attitude and I switched it up,
- 47:17Speaker 1: which is I mean, which is great. I don't know
- 47:19Speaker 1: how many doctors that would do that shit for you,
- 47:21Speaker 1: you know, to be honest with me, I don't think
- 47:23Speaker 1: any doctor would say I used to get seed. No
- 47:25Speaker 1: one wants to man, No one wants to hear that, honest, No,
- 47:31Speaker 1: I don't want to hear that. You If I ask
- 47:32Speaker 1: you that, I'm asking you for you to so you
- 47:34Speaker 1: will be like, I am the best. I fucking graduated,
- 47:39Speaker 1: magnum koon loudy. It's like when you're an actor and
- 47:41Speaker 1: you're like, um, they're like, and you and you ice hockey?
- 47:45Speaker 1: You play ice hockey, right, You're like, of course, yeah, yeah,
- 47:50Speaker 1: we did you know how to double dutch? Absolutely? Oh
- 47:53Speaker 1: double Dutch is my things. I would they loved you
- 47:58Speaker 1: for the acting part, and now like and and do
- 48:00Speaker 1: your resume is accurate? You do double Dutch? Right? Oh yes,
- 48:04Speaker 1: oh yes, there's never been a Dutch. I've ever not
- 48:09Speaker 1: doubled so um that I laughed when um when Ted
- 48:14Speaker 1: is putting in his passport and he says, all right,
- 48:16Speaker 1: turn away, and you guys turn away, and he's like
- 48:18Speaker 1: alligator three JD is taped to the ceiling for two hours. Dude,
- 48:28Speaker 1: how do you fall back? How do you fall He
- 48:30Speaker 1: told you in the beginning that it was going to happen.
- 48:33Speaker 1: I know, but it tells you before how did they
- 48:35Speaker 1: do that? Ted is not very straight up freaking no.
- 48:40Speaker 1: I wasn't paying attention. I wasn't paying attention. Remember, he says,
- 48:42Speaker 1: I'm trying to do this because you've already zoned out.
- 48:45Speaker 1: But my my, my question, Donald is but then at
- 48:49Speaker 1: the end you say, he told me about this and
- 48:51Speaker 1: I still felt for it. My point is, My point is,
- 48:54Speaker 1: according to the story, I was duck taped to the
- 48:57Speaker 1: ceiling by Todd and Ted. How did they pull that off?
- 49:01Speaker 1: They needed somebody's help to I just don't know, man, Yeah,
- 49:07Speaker 1: you know, because you'd be if you're wrestling with the Todd,
- 49:10Speaker 1: you'd become very oily and you'd be able to get away, obviously,
- 49:15Speaker 1: And if you're raising and if you're wrestling with Ted,
- 49:17Speaker 1: the same thing. He's kind of sweaty. He's kind of sweaty.
- 49:20Speaker 1: So maybe they got crazy eyes Mario involved or maybe
- 49:24Speaker 1: or what's his name? We never seen anymore. He was big.
- 49:27Speaker 1: He could have helped, and they weren't. They trust you mean, Troy.
- 49:32Speaker 1: Troy could have easily helped. Troy would have freaking killed
- 49:35Speaker 1: you though, I know, but they got me. He would
- 49:37Speaker 1: have snapped. He would have snapped your neck straight up,
- 49:40Speaker 1: like freaking uh, what's what's the mice? And men? He
- 49:44Speaker 1: would like the bunny, like the bunny, like the bunny,
- 49:48Speaker 1: like the the girl at the end, oh oh with
- 49:51Speaker 1: the girl. Yeah, well spoilers if he hadn't seen men,
- 49:53Speaker 1: all right, listen, um. The best part of the whole
- 49:57Speaker 1: episode occurs at this moment, when JD is duct taped
- 50:02Speaker 1: to the ceiling of the cafeteria, we learn that Colonel
- 50:07Speaker 1: Doctor is Lloyd's father. Yes, yeah, there was not nearly
- 50:12Speaker 1: enough made out of that. I mean, what is their story?
- 50:15Speaker 1: You know? Nowadays on TV shows, they go off into
- 50:18Speaker 1: an episode that's like nothing about the main characters, like
- 50:20Speaker 1: off into a they I would love an episode about
- 50:23Speaker 1: what it's like in Colonel Doctor in Lloyd's lives. That's
- 50:27Speaker 1: a good, that's you know what, that's actually a great idea. Fans,
- 50:32Speaker 1: what's a good? What's a great one offer that you
- 50:37Speaker 1: would love to have watched? And I don't want to
- 50:39Speaker 1: hear about legal custodians. I don't want to hear about
- 50:42Speaker 1: doctor aculae, not all of the not all the obvious ones.
- 50:47Speaker 1: Let's get let's get obscure, let's get abstract, let's get
- 50:52Speaker 1: freaking artistic with it. Yeah, please for the dive in
- 50:56Speaker 1: and dive in. What is a one off you would
- 50:59Speaker 1: have loved to have seen? Yeah, what's a one off
- 51:00Speaker 1: that doesn't involve you know, um, the main characters that
- 51:03Speaker 1: you would have liked. They're gonna know what, They're all
- 51:05Speaker 1: gonna say, Well, I'm a party Alma's pool party. Oh god,
- 51:08Speaker 1: I would I But I now learned that an above
- 51:12Speaker 1: ground pool doesn't necessarily mean that, Like you could have
- 51:17Speaker 1: a deck and that's considered an above ground pool. The
- 51:21Speaker 1: best asn't learned about having a loma on is that
- 51:22Speaker 1: she never knew anything about that because she only read
- 51:25Speaker 1: her parts. She never read the full scripts, so she
- 51:28Speaker 1: had no idea we were talking about. Say you did
- 51:36Speaker 1: the same thing, except you're in every fucking scene, all right. Um,
- 51:39Speaker 1: Jad falls and he falls because he's so angry because
- 51:43Speaker 1: a young man can't figure out how to get Jad's hairstyle.
- 51:48Speaker 1: And he finally wriggles out, falls to the ground and
- 51:50Speaker 1: he goes, for the love of God, moose and twist.
- 51:55Speaker 1: I don't use moose for what it's worth. The real
- 51:58Speaker 1: secret is not washing your hair. If you want to know,
- 52:01Speaker 1: so just dirt. Well, it's just grease, and then you
- 52:04Speaker 1: gotta and you gotta and then you gotta use some products.
- 52:06Speaker 1: But the best thing for for for that hairstyle, if
- 52:09Speaker 1: you like it, is does not wash your hair. I
- 52:11Speaker 1: mean you watch with water, you just don't shampoo. That's
- 52:14Speaker 1: what's up. Um okay. And then the boy who cried wolf,
- 52:18Speaker 1: the wolf males the gender. That's where he gets. Yeah,
- 52:22Speaker 1: that's what he gets. What he puts so much work
- 52:25Speaker 1: in time into that, into that, into that prank. M hm.
- 52:31Speaker 1: This hospital must be filthy. It reminds me You know,
- 52:35Speaker 1: it's really weird because I watched a movie that's very
- 52:38Speaker 1: similar to spoiler alert coming. Did you watch The Batman? No? Yes,
- 52:45Speaker 1: took me like three It took me three days to
- 52:47Speaker 1: watch all of it. It's not that long. Oh my gosh,
- 52:52Speaker 1: it took me three days to watch all of it.
- 52:54Speaker 1: But did your heart jump out of your chest when
- 52:55Speaker 1: they introduced the Batmobile? The cool seed ever? No, you
- 53:00Speaker 1: stop it now. It's a muscle car for Batman. Yeah,
- 53:03Speaker 1: no doubt. It was a good it was. Look, I
- 53:06Speaker 1: liked it for I liked it, But I liked it
- 53:08Speaker 1: for different reasons. Man, because because then when it jumps
- 53:10Speaker 1: into an action movie, then it's like, ah, man, that's
- 53:14Speaker 1: not what I want anymore. But because they made it
- 53:17Speaker 1: such a great detective movie and a great, you know,
- 53:20Speaker 1: murder mystery type situation, I was way more into that.
- 53:25Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden it becomes a superhero
- 53:27Speaker 1: movie and you're like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa whoa. We
- 53:29Speaker 1: don't need to you know, I'm fine with him just
- 53:31Speaker 1: being some regular vigilante. You know. It was it was
- 53:35Speaker 1: it was Donald that's a good student, you see it.
- 53:40Speaker 1: I have not yet. Yeah, I interest. I'm sorry everybody,
- 53:44Speaker 1: But on the other on the exact polar opposite side,
- 53:47Speaker 1: I'd like to remind those of you who like the
- 53:50Speaker 1: polar opposite side of things to go watch The Worst
- 53:54Speaker 1: Person in the World, because it's I can't I can't
- 53:57Speaker 1: stop thinking about how good it is. Great. So if
- 54:00Speaker 1: you were just listening Donald and you zoned out, Um,
- 54:03Speaker 1: go watch Worst Person in the World. All right, do
- 54:06Speaker 1: we have a caller? Oh, let's bring them in. I
- 54:10Speaker 1: got I got goose, got goosebumps. Last week's call. Oh,
- 54:13Speaker 1: go to break. We're gonna break. We come back with
- 54:15Speaker 1: a call, um, and we're back. Everybody got a collar,
- 54:26Speaker 1: gave us allow? You can talk star watch show dues,
- 54:30Speaker 1: you know, like a botto smoke some z maybe talking
- 54:35Speaker 1: about the episode. So come on, Joe, let's get the
- 54:39Speaker 1: show off. Go ahead, Donald, ladies and gentlemen, give it
- 54:45Speaker 1: up for damn dail. You'll have to do thunders applause
- 54:53Speaker 1: this time because I don't have my button. Jeve, how
- 54:55Speaker 1: are you welcome to the program. I'm great. How are
- 54:58Speaker 1: you guys? We're we're happening. Donald's in his closet, I'm
- 55:01Speaker 1: in Miami. We can't complain. I could complain. I could.
- 55:07Speaker 1: Donald's given me an idea. I have no friends down here.
- 55:09Speaker 1: He says that I should call Gabrielle Union and thus
- 55:14Speaker 1: Dwayne Wade and say, hey, guys, can I meet your friends?
- 55:20Speaker 1: Le gonna try it. I'm gonna try it, and and
- 55:22Speaker 1: and and Baron Davis too. Donald, Well, they probably have
- 55:26Speaker 1: a good night out plan? And what support did Baron
- 55:29Speaker 1: Davis play again? Hockey? Welcome to the program, Dave. How
- 55:34Speaker 1: are you? Where are you from? I am in a
- 55:37Speaker 1: closet in New Jersey. Oh, so were lots of people
- 55:40Speaker 1: when I was growing up. Same okay. Oh, Daniel loves
- 55:53Speaker 1: putting computers together. You guys can probably talk all about
- 55:56Speaker 1: sorts of things. Oh. I bet we could like putting
- 55:59Speaker 1: together golf simulators. Daniel. Are you ever called upon to
- 56:04Speaker 1: do soldering? Oh? Man, I tried that a couple of times.
- 56:07Speaker 1: It is that is beyond my pay grade. That is okay, Dave.
- 56:10Speaker 1: Do you know how to solder? I know how, but
- 56:12Speaker 1: it's very difficult. Okay. I want to learn how to
- 56:15Speaker 1: solder very precise. It looks cool when Yeah, it's fun
- 56:20Speaker 1: to do, just really really hard. Okay, Dave, So what
- 56:23Speaker 1: do you do in it? What kind of it stuff
- 56:24Speaker 1: do you do? I preferre I do computer support for
- 56:28Speaker 1: a state agency. Okay, And do you ever get to
- 56:31Speaker 1: the computer and you're like this idiot, I can't believe
- 56:34Speaker 1: what they've done to their computer. Um A, I can
- 56:37Speaker 1: fix this with one button and be look at their desktop?
- 56:41Speaker 1: What a mess. That's my job. I know. I'm that
- 56:49Speaker 1: guy with the full desktop, right, you just you just
- 56:54Speaker 1: you just drag everything to your desktop. Well, I feel
- 56:57Speaker 1: like if I if I put it at elsewhere, it's
- 56:58Speaker 1: going to get lost. So I prefer for it on
- 57:00Speaker 1: the desktop. I know I can find it on the desktop.
- 57:02Speaker 1: And that's how the computer gets viruses? Is that what
- 57:05Speaker 1: it is? Does that slow the computer down? Dave? No? Yeah, okay,
- 57:10Speaker 1: as long as you know where everything is, you're fine, Dave.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Why does porn slow the computer down? That's what I
- 57:15Speaker 1: want to know. If that has viruses? Yeah, I got it.
- 57:18Speaker 1: It can. Yeah. Are there any Are there any sites
- 57:21Speaker 1: that Dave is not here to tell you which porn
- 57:24Speaker 1: sites to go to? Donald's He works for a state agency,
- 57:28Speaker 1: for God's sakes, he would know though. Yeah, Dave, Um,
- 57:33Speaker 1: do you recommend um any any not talking about those sites, Donald,
- 57:40Speaker 1: get the guy fired? What about BBC? Uh? I'm just kidding,
- 57:47Speaker 1: but I've been using the site BBC dot com. Is
- 57:50Speaker 1: that a good one day? I'm sorry, Dave. Do you
- 57:57Speaker 1: have a question for us? I I've noticed that like
- 58:02Speaker 1: when when actors have a successful sitcom, they're reluctant to
- 58:05Speaker 1: ever go back to that world. If you two were
- 58:08Speaker 1: ever offered the opportunity to do a primetime sitcom again,
- 58:11Speaker 1: would you at least consider it? Absolutely? Yes, I think
- 58:17Speaker 1: you mean you mean you mean the most common question
- 58:19Speaker 1: we get Scrubs or any show, any show. It doesn't
- 58:22Speaker 1: have to be Yeah, I think so. I think so.
- 58:24Speaker 1: It depends a lot of factors go into it, and
- 58:27Speaker 1: the main one is that it's a high class problem.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Being a lead in it. A half hour comedy like
- 58:32Speaker 1: this kind of takes over your life. So you have
- 58:35Speaker 1: to choose. You have to And there's nothing against working hard,
- 58:38Speaker 1: But some people go, gosh, I don't know at forty
- 58:41Speaker 1: seven if I want to work fourteen hours a day,
- 58:44Speaker 1: twelve hours a day, um. And then other people go, hey,
- 58:48Speaker 1: I have nine hundred kids, I gotta go do that.
- 58:52Speaker 1: But for me, I wouldn't. For me, and my answers
- 58:54Speaker 1: no to a normal UM network show because I personally,
- 58:59Speaker 1: at forty, I've been don't want the next chapter of
- 59:02Speaker 1: my life to be tied to something for many, many years,
- 59:05Speaker 1: for fourteen hours a day. I'd like to do other
- 59:08Speaker 1: things like direct and explore Earth and maybe have a family.
- 59:12Speaker 1: It also depends on what it is like. I'm not
- 59:14Speaker 1: going to go and do a television show just for
- 59:17Speaker 1: shits and geticles, even though I mean, if it sucks
- 59:20Speaker 1: in the paycheck is big. I would like to be
- 59:22Speaker 1: a part of something that's you know, uh that that
- 59:26Speaker 1: is one successful and uh too a lot of fun
- 59:30Speaker 1: to do. And so if those if those variables are
- 59:34Speaker 1: in play, absolutely I have no problem going back and
- 59:36Speaker 1: doing a television show. Would it be Scrubs again? Probably not.
- 59:40Speaker 1: I don't you know, I'm gonna keep it one hundred,
- 59:42Speaker 1: but I'm gonna keep it one hundred with you. I
- 59:43Speaker 1: love Christopher Turk, I love JD. I don't necessarily want
- 59:47Speaker 1: to play Christopher Turk. You're gonna playspher Tchurk in some capacity.
- 59:50Speaker 1: This is our standard answer, but more of like a
- 59:54Speaker 1: eight to ten episodes sort of like one off kind
- 59:57Speaker 1: of thing, not not network, which which is which is
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: up to well, when we were doing some sometimes twenty
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: four a year, I don't even think anybody does that anymore.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: So again, we were young actors and we're blessed to
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: have the opportunity. You just you look at things differently
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: when you weigh like time with your family, time to
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: time to create a family. Um, you know, you you
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: look at things differently at forty seven and forty eight
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: than you would. The other answer I would say is
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: that a lot of those people have they've been on
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: a long running show. They they've they've made a nice
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: nest egg, and they can make choices that are based
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: on what they want to do with their life, you know,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: and make an independent movie or direct movies, or go
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: play golf and tennis like Donald sometimes does. Well. Yeah,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: also when you do a lot of people don't know this.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: When you do sitcoms, the schedule is very very lax
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: compared to doing something like Scrubs, where it's where it's
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: you know, a single camera thing. So a sitcom you
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: only have one day of filming, maybe two days of filming,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: and the rest is just rehearsal. So you can have
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: some sort of life in between when I was doing
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: exes after Scrubs. The schedule for the exes compared to Scrubs.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: And I listen, I'm number three on the call sheet
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: on Scrubs, and I worked way more than I did
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: on Scrubs than I did on the exes as far
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: as hours go. On the exes, we came in, we
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: had a table read, and then we had and then
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: we had the day off. The next day we may
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: be rehearsed a couple of scenes, then we had the
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: day off. The third day we rehearsed, and then we
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: had then the day was off. Then we blocked the
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: next day and then that was the end of the day.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Maybe pre shot something, and then on Friday we shot
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: a whole show, you know what I mean. And that's
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: why smackers are are drawn to that lifestyle. But there's
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: fewer and fewer of those sort of live in front
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: of the studio audience kinds of shows because they're not
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: very fashionable these days. That compared to a single count
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: single well, we all grew up on them, Dave, We
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: agree with you, but um and of course, you know, friends,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: it is probably the most popular sitcom of all time,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: and people love that and Seinfeld, you know, and not
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: to remember the Honeymooners, man, do you remember? No, I'm
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: just saying that, like people, they come in and out
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: of fashion, and right now there's not that many of
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: them because they're not very popular as popular these days.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: You know what it's gonna you know what it's gonna take.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: It's for it to come on something like HBO Max
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: or something like that, and it'd be a little bit
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: racy and but still be funny. But it's a good idea.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Someone should someone should do, like an R rated sitcom
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: that'd be amazing, were yeah, R rated, not X rated. R.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Maybe I amber watched Ashton Kutcher's was his R rated
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: because his was on Netflix. I don't know. It's all right,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: But dooel, don't you think that's a good idea. You're
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: like an R rated sitcom? I would definitely check it
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: out because he doesn't love families behaving badly. You know, no,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: it doesn't be a family. It could be like you know, well, no,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: you want it to still have its tradition, the traditional
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: sitcom feel to it, so it could be like friends,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: but instead of like keeping it p G, it's R.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Fuck you, Joey see how fun would that be? Well,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: it would be more like sex. It would be more
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: like sex to sex in a city. I'm saying it
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: would be more like that. Abbott Elementary is definitely bringing
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: a comeback. Is that a studio audience? But is that
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: that looks like as single camera? It looks like it's
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: also single cam though too, it is, Joell, isn't it
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: not sure? Is there a laugh track? There's not a
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: laugh track. No, it's single camera. But that show everyone's
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: talking about that show. I can't speak to it because
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I haven't seen it, but it is. I haven't seen
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: the Day, but I love that. I love Do you
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: like it? Dave? I haven't seen it yet. It's kidding
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: a lot of buzz, a lot of buzz buzz buzz.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: All right, Dave, what's your next question for us? My friend?
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: My next question would be, so you two have incredible
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: comedic timing, just amazing. Well I agree on on my front, yeah,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: thank you. Just just watching the show, that back and
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: forth between you and the other cast is just crazy.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: Is that something you guys would work on or is
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: that something that came natural? Oh? Yeah, both a combo both,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: I mean, we make each other We make each other laugh.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: I mean all the time. You know, We're at a
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: giant Easter party the other day and there's like a
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: hundred people there. We just standing next to each other
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: making each other laugh. Wench comedy writers too, yeah, fuck them, no,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: But um, you know, we just we just we have
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: the same sense of humor. And but of course also
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: when you watch the show Scrubs, we've but was so
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: great about the environment that Bill created. And I know
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: I mentioned this before, was you know after we got
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: what was written, Um, well, he would let us fuck around.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: And that's where a lot of great stuff came from
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: that people love like Eagle is the most obvious example.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: It's just just fucking around and like an athlete, you
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: smell like an athlete, you smell like a father figure,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: you know, shit like that. We would just we would
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: just riff and and sometimes it would be like if
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: you were the person setting up the punchline. They would
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: just keep setting you up and you just keep saying
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: punch different punchlines. And sometimes and then a writer would
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: combine go oh, try this, and you try this, and
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: then and then I'd say to Donald it was it
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: was he shot his try this and he tried that
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: and and that way when the editor and Bill who
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: has the final say or watching it, they have like
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: eight options and it's just like which one makes you
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: laugh the most, and it's it's kind of like it's
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: kind of a cool way to shoot because you can
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: you can just keep playing and being silly and looking
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: for um, the funniest, the funniest version. It was also
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: great training. We were very young, so it was great
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: training for us to learn how to do that as well.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: You know, we talk about we we we we talk
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: about how uh Scrubs changed our lives. But not only
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: did it change our lives, it taught us how to
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: tell jokes, you know, how to you know, uh, my
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: IQ coming out of as far as film and television
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: and stuff like that goes coming out of Scrubs was
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: I mean, we did it for nine years, was amazingly
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: higher than it was going in. And it was because
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: we've taught each other so much, you know, uh yeah,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: and also yeah, like he said, it was like it
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: was like the best boot camp ever. You know, for
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: me as a director, it was the great greatest boot
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: camp ever because every episode of a different director and
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: you were like watching so many people, and the comedy
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: writers were so skilled and seeing how they would come
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: up with jokes, and it was it was like the
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: best nine year in grad school, someone you could ever have. Yeah,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: walking out of it, I felt I was very confident.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: It's time for closeted people. In New Jersey's favorite segments,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: It's time to fix your life Garden State Edition. All right, sir,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: how can we fix your life today? All right? I
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: could use some time management help. I work a full
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: time job, I'm a father, married, and I'm also gone
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: to college. Dude, and my life is like crazy right now?
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: I have nothing, no free time. Wow, you did it
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: to yourself. You did it to yourself. Bro, You're welcome, Dave,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: You're you're welcome. Well, so how many kids? First? One? Okay?
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: And how old he is? Sixteen? Okay? So he doesn't
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: really want to hang out with you that much, right,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: you would be surprised. Oh, you must be a cool dad.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: You must be a cool dad. I got a stage
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: four clinger. Nice. Well, that's a great thing. That means
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: you're a good father. So I think you just have
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: to schedule. I mean, Donald's obviously you can weigh on
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: the fought the parenting thing because I don't know anything,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: but I'm probably a better schedule than Donald. And that
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: is Um. There's an old expression, if you want to
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: get something done, give it to a busy person. And
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: that's really scheduling it down to the momentum and sticking
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: to it. I am going to I'm gonna go see
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: a movie with my son at this time. Make sure
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: he's to make sure he's free. Okay, that's locked in.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: I got to work here, so we know this is here.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: I have to study for my class here. I gotta
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: take my wife to dinner on that night. You if
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: you're going to be as busy as you are, you
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: can't do it. You can't win it, bro, you can't.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: You cannot wing it. You gotta get like and I
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: don't like you know, I cal I get a written calendar.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: You know, you can buy one of those like desktop
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: big ass ones, mount it on your wall or keep
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: it as a desktop thing and just really get super
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: anal with what is happening where. And you obviously have
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: to work it out with your son, work it out
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: with your wife. You know what, you know what your
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: work hours are? Um, you know how much time you
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: need to study in order to do school. But if
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: you're gonna take on as much as you had, there's
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: no possible fucking way you're not doing it without a
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: very detailed schedule that you actually stick to. Donald's go
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: do you. Is there a light at the end of
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: the tunnel or is it just you're gonna do this
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: for the or you just or is this what you're
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: gonna set to do forever? No, the light's gonna be
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: I'm trying to blow through the classes as quick as
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: i can. Right on. What are you studying? First of all? Yeah,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: I'm getting my degree in it, and that'll help you
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: get a better job, I imagine. Yes, this one all right? Good?
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: So what's cool about it is that there is a
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: Once you bang it all out, you can you'll have
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: some of those things off your plate. You'll have a
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: job with a better salary. Yeah, and your kids. Your
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: kid's gonna go to college. So even though he's a clinger,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: he's gonna probably moving. If I'm still working on things
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: by that, maybe he can help me. My advice to
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: you is to enjoy the journey. I know it feels
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: like a lot, you know, but I mean we don't
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: have a lot of time on this rock anyway, you
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So you know, while we're here,
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: if you have a lot of things to do, that's great.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: And it sounds like they're positive and great things. Also,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: you know what I mean, it sounds like it's something
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: that that you're into. And also having a sixteen year
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: old son, you know, I hope my son when he
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: is sixteen, is a stage four clinger and he he
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: wants to hang out with me, dude. And you know,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: also I just think in terms of your wife and
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: your child. Again, I do know nothing about this because
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: I have neither, but it seems to me people love experiences.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: So planning a beautiful romantic night with your wife, she'll appreciate.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Planning going to see a cool movie with your son,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: things that things that aren't just like oh, let's you know,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: and not to dish, Hey let's sit on the couch
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: and watch this movie too. But making sure that that
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: stuff's like in the schedule, I think we'll make them
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: both feel not neglected. Absolutely, that's a great idea. Thank you.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: All right, Well, you're welcome, You're welcome. Donald, you're gonna
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: say you're welcome. Well I already did in the beginning
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: when I when I, well, no, now we've given him
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: lots of advice. Okay, well you're welcome. You're welcome. Thank
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: you all right, everybody. That's the show. Um, Dave, thank
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: you so much for coming on. Um, and UM, what's
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: happening next, Joelle, we're gonna we're gonna do another episode
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: and um we have some surprise guests coming on soon
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: that Joel has coordinated. One of them. Donald doesn't even
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: know about. We want you to be patient with us too.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Zach's away working right now. He's got a bunch of
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: things back to back and stuff. So but also maybe
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: maybe subconsciously, we're trying to drag it out since we're
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: moving so darn fast. Didn't we figure out? What were
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: we talk about? Yeah, Beverly Hills Cop. We talked about
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: doing movies we love and also movies that aren't that
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: well known that we love, like Yentle, like Yentel, And
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: then we talked about getting a guest who won't won't
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: necessarily be the star, like I gonna get bar Strikes,
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: and but we might get Maddie Ptenkin. We might get
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: can you hear me? Yeah? We might, we might. For
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: we we talked about getting what's the name of that
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: actor from Beverly Hill's Cop the one I played, Victor
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Maglan or Boga Mill. Oh, I love to get Victor
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Mainland may have passed. He was quite old when the
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: movie was made. I don't know, I don't know. I
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: don't know all I learned. Oh, I learned so much, dude,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: I learned so much about the gentleman who plays General
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: Veers from The Empire strikes Back. And how many of
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: some of the movies that I've loved the bad guy
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: in he was the fucking bad guy and had no idea?
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: Did you know that General Veers from the Empire Strikes
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: Back is the dude that freaking goes with Indiana Jones
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: on The Last Crusade that chooses poorly? Did you know
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: that was the same dude? Did you know that General
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: Veers from the Empire Strikes Back is also the same
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: dude from the Game with Thrones, the guy with the
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: white hair that was the hunched over old man. That's
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: General Veers from Empire Strikes Back. Yeah, yeah, man, General
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Verers had I don't you know I'm doing him a
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: disservice by calling him General Veers. That's like all this
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: fuckers out there, I'll be like, Yo, Turk from Scrubs
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: was in clueless. Yo, Turk from Scrubs. Yo, did you
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: know that Turk from Scrubs played fucking Booster Gold? Did
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: you know that? I'm sorry, I'm sorry. All right, We
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: love you all, thank you for tuning in, and we'll
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: see you next time. Five, six, seven, Next Stories about
