- 1:15Speaker 7: I always like mixing it up with you guys. For
- 1:17Speaker 7: some reason on this show, I feel like, uh, you know,
- 1:21Speaker 7: I I'm in a good position. I feel like, funny
- 1:25Speaker 7: shit's about to happen. We'll change that. You guys lift
- 1:28Speaker 7: us up. Not you so much, but but definitely Ron.
- 1:31Speaker 1: It's my dog. But you have a kinship with both
- 1:33Speaker 1: of us. It's not like there's an unbalanced relationship. You
- 1:36Speaker 1: and Hairball over here. Hairball have the stand up thing
- 1:39Speaker 1: going on.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Yeah, we do, totally.
- 1:42Speaker 1: And me and you work for the same company you
- 1:46Speaker 1: do work for Varsity.
- 1:47Speaker 7: We live in the same building and we also.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Live in the same building.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Yeah. But before we get into all that, I'm gonna
- 1:51Speaker 4: be in Philly this weekend. Five Ships.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I posted the Instagram about it. I know that was
- 1:56Speaker 1: really and I posted Instagram with the link for it,
- 1:59Speaker 1: my boy needs.
- 2:00Speaker 4: I thought it was a joke at first because I
- 2:01Speaker 4: saw you just screenshoted.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Mine now and then I put the link over the top.
- 2:05Speaker 4: I know it's cool. Thank you.
- 2:06Speaker 7: If you don't have the money now for Harry's wildly
- 2:10Speaker 7: expensive tickets.
- 2:11Speaker 1: They're not expensive, will.
- 2:13Speaker 7: Be I will be in Philadelphia in April of twenty
- 2:17Speaker 7: twenty four.
- 2:18Speaker 4: At do you already know that? You know we're going
- 2:20Speaker 4: to be in April of next year.
- 2:21Speaker 7: I was surprised to find out that I had a
- 2:23Speaker 7: date that far out as well, But yeah.
- 2:25Speaker 4: They booked they Insburg in April next year. But I'm
- 2:30Speaker 4: going to be in Philly this weekend. This guy's giving
- 2:32Speaker 4: me ship and he has the exact same.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Issue that I. How could you possibly know what's going
- 2:37Speaker 1: on in the future, But I'm going I'm gonna be
- 2:39Speaker 1: in Philly this weekend, act out how Philly Helium, great club,
- 2:45Speaker 1: big guests, if it was really talk about it.
- 2:49Speaker 7: Just beware buyers. The twenty five dollars list price for
- 2:53Speaker 7: his ticket, that doesn't show you all the fees associated
- 2:56Speaker 7: with that ticket. It's actually ends up being a lot
- 2:58Speaker 7: more expensive than that. So there's a two drink minimum.
- 3:01Speaker 1: But it's a good bang.
- 3:02Speaker 7: You're gonna want to save your twenty twenty four for
- 3:06Speaker 7: Philly Helium.
- 3:07Speaker 1: It's a great buy it now, and then by then
- 3:09Speaker 1: inflation will have gone to such a rate where you're
- 3:11Speaker 1: getting a big His.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Tickets are fifty dollars, that's general admission, fifty dollars for Chris.
- 3:17Speaker 1: T shirt, and you've got to meet and greet and.
- 3:21Speaker 7: Life for life picture.
- 3:23Speaker 1: You got access and that what's more valuable than access
- 3:26Speaker 1: to a touring comedian.
- 3:27Speaker 4: There's nothing more, nothing more valuable than just five minutes
- 3:30Speaker 4: with a touring comic. But uh yeah, I don't mean
- 3:34Speaker 4: Philly this weekend. Uh Thursday is pretty much sold out.
- 3:37Speaker 4: So you wanted to go to that, Sorry, you're gonna
- 3:39Speaker 4: have to go to Friday Saturday.
- 3:41Speaker 1: So good luck.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Five guys out there. Five just phenomenal shows. It's going
- 3:46Speaker 4: to be a magical, magical evenings. History is going to
- 3:49Speaker 4: be made this weekend at Philly Helium.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Is that where Matt McCusker filmed his special It is?
- 3:54Speaker 4: And I'll be gracing the stage this weekend.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Well, you don't deserve that. I'm thinking of that.
- 4:00Speaker 4: I'm thinking that I'm probably going to bring the thunder
- 4:02Speaker 4: this weekend.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Now I could see you bringing the thunder.
- 4:04Speaker 4: I hate when I'm not prepared to bring the thunder
- 4:07Speaker 4: and then I just end up bringing it anyway.
- 4:09Speaker 7: That's stinks.
- 4:10Speaker 4: I know, I did not expect to have to bring
- 4:13Speaker 4: the thunder tonight. Then it just cueeps out of you
- 4:16Speaker 4: and then it just slips out anyway.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I just let some thunder rip.
- 4:20Speaker 4: I just let it rip. I listened to my full
- 4:23Speaker 4: Helium set last from last year, and my God, was
- 4:27Speaker 4: that the most painful thing I've ever had to do.
- 4:30Speaker 4: I had to listen to it on one fifty speed
- 4:32Speaker 4: because I couldn't listen to it normally.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I just had to see one idea.
- 4:36Speaker 7: Sets only only. I only go to the jokes that
- 4:40Speaker 7: I'm I'm working on. Really, so I just I just
- 4:44Speaker 7: will skip to the part where I'm like okay, and
- 4:46Speaker 7: I'll even put in my voice note. I'll label it like,
- 4:49Speaker 7: uh Stan Thursday, listen to the joke about that because
- 4:56Speaker 7: I said something funny about that.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I feel like you have a healthy enough relationship with
- 4:59Speaker 1: yourself where you can like you're palatable to you.
- 5:02Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm not bothered by me, but I'm just I
- 5:06Speaker 7: don't I don't I get bored.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I don't like I know where this is going yeah.
- 5:11Speaker 4: Oh, I love I love playing back the hits. I
- 5:15Speaker 4: can't believe I said that that was so funny.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I can't believe I said that.
- 5:19Speaker 4: I can't believe how fucking funny that was.
- 5:21Speaker 1: It was a funny show last time. I know, Like
- 5:24Speaker 1: my boys were dying laughing on the second show. They
- 5:28Speaker 1: watched your same act back to back and they were
- 5:30Speaker 1: they were lying, they were dying laughing.
- 5:31Speaker 4: This one is gonna be stupid. The the the pace
- 5:34Speaker 4: that I was talking, This is why I don't drink
- 5:36Speaker 4: anymore before going up. But the pace I was talking
- 5:38Speaker 4: last night or last year was like I sounded like
- 5:41Speaker 4: I was o ding on like xanax.
- 5:43Speaker 7: Oh I just got a prescription refill of xanax. Oh yeah,
- 5:48Speaker 7: so we get one of the jokes about only only
- 5:50Speaker 7: like the flying long flights.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Yeah, were used and up when we were going to
- 5:55Speaker 4: San Fran.
- 5:56Speaker 1: No, you're out and you didn't s Fran. That's what
- 6:00Speaker 1: the hell, dud, dude.
- 6:01Speaker 7: I didn't need any Xana out there. I was on
- 6:03Speaker 7: that weed.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Long it was like a seven hour flight.
- 6:06Speaker 7: Oh no, I didn't sand it. I remember I played
- 6:08Speaker 7: that game. You taught me the entire time, this wipe
- 6:10Speaker 7: game with I don't even think. I sat back with
- 6:13Speaker 7: my back against the seat.
- 6:15Speaker 4: I fell asleep still playing. The screen was so far
- 6:18Speaker 4: forward that I just had to sit forward the entire time,
- 6:21Speaker 4: and I.
- 6:22Speaker 7: Had a splitting headache. Remember how bad my headache was.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Yeah, you were being a little bit of a drama queen.
- 6:26Speaker 4: From that roll around in the green room.
- 6:28Speaker 1: I was an I.
- 6:30Speaker 7: Didn't you taught me that goddamn game twenty twenty four.
- 6:36Speaker 1: It also had nothing to do with the game.
- 6:37Speaker 4: That was one the video game for like two hours,
- 6:40Speaker 4: and was like, this is fucking up all my entire DNA.
- 6:43Speaker 7: That's not right, that's not right. It wasn't two hours.
- 6:46Speaker 7: It was the flight out, which is six and then
- 6:50Speaker 7: I downloaded on my phone because you kept making fun
- 6:52Speaker 7: of me for not being able to beat it.
- 6:53Speaker 4: I beat it like ten times.
- 6:55Speaker 7: Yeah, because you didn't have a childhood.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Now it was it's just an easy game. I showed
- 6:59Speaker 1: him how to remember, went outside.
- 7:00Speaker 4: I told him how to beat the game in one
- 7:02Speaker 4: simple step, and he was like, no, that's not the
- 7:05Speaker 4: right one.
- 7:05Speaker 5: It didn't worry.
- 7:06Speaker 4: He tried to come up with his own algorithm to
- 7:07Speaker 4: beat the game.
- 7:08Speaker 7: It didn't work the way you said it would. It did,
- 7:11Speaker 7: and then finally I did beat it. But even then it.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Beat it like three months later. It took me a
- 7:15Speaker 1: long time because I had to I had his algorithm.
- 7:18Speaker 7: I tried, but he kept oversimplified and it wasn't that simple.
- 7:21Speaker 4: It wasn't that simple. But it is that simple.
- 7:23Speaker 7: You know. That's what you need to stick to you,
- 7:25Speaker 7: that's your overarching strategy. But sometimes you have to make adjustments.
- 7:30Speaker 1: The fact that he's even writing code for a game
- 7:32Speaker 1: to play as insane, just mentally writing a little code
- 7:35Speaker 1: for your for your airplane game.
- 7:37Speaker 4: It's not an airplane it's a phone game. Original.
- 7:39Speaker 7: Sometimes I think about sending him back to college.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I think you could.
- 7:42Speaker 7: I think we should pay for it.
- 7:44Speaker 4: He was, okay, send you guys. Don't have the option
- 7:46Speaker 4: to send me. We could college, high school. I could
- 7:50Speaker 4: send you to boarding.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Could at a Northeast boarding school with the high players
- 7:55Speaker 1: real fast, dude.
- 7:56Speaker 7: Hell no, it's either college or the Merchant Marines for you. Boy.
- 8:00Speaker 7: I left her Philly this weekend. Everything changes after Yeah,
- 8:04Speaker 7: I guess you do make a lot of money. When
- 8:06Speaker 7: you charge that much.
- 8:08Speaker 4: They lose all, they lose everything. I have the standard
- 8:11Speaker 4: headlining price. I don't even choose how much they are.
- 8:17Speaker 4: And if they ever were above twenty five dollars, I
- 8:19Speaker 4: would say put them back down to twenty five. I
- 8:21Speaker 4: think they're twenty six, though, so I should talk to
- 8:23Speaker 4: someone and say drop those back down to twenty.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Twenty six, come in with three hundred. That's not me.
- 8:28Speaker 4: I'm not choosing that price.
- 8:29Speaker 1: That's helium in these times.
- 8:32Speaker 7: If it was me, free knowing that you're I don't
- 8:34Speaker 7: even want to get paid Skeugh's younger, no less, they're
- 8:37Speaker 7: in starter jobs. They're in starter jobs.
- 8:40Speaker 1: They're not Hugh minority too, and so they're underpaid.
- 8:43Speaker 4: As a lot of underpaid minorities. It's a lot of
- 8:45Speaker 4: underpaid team. It's a lot of minority team.
- 8:47Speaker 7: He actually redlines the seating chart of his audience. Yeah,
- 8:53Speaker 7: he's like, all right, those nosebleed seats in the back,
- 8:55Speaker 7: give those Genny one that looks unlike me.
- 9:01Speaker 1: He definitely does. But it's cool.
- 9:03Speaker 4: I like, do like the Billy Joel I bring I
- 9:05Speaker 4: bring all the poor people up front? Doesn't Billy Joel
- 9:09Speaker 4: do that? Doesn't he like? Isn't he like? I go
- 9:11Speaker 4: to the bast row of the stadium and I get
- 9:13Speaker 4: them and I bring them right up front.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Didn't they like bring homeless people into some award show
- 9:18Speaker 1: one time or something, But they only let them like
- 9:20Speaker 1: walk by the front row they like could like wave.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Not gonna risk that they were causing a goddamn ruckus
- 9:26Speaker 4: stinking up the Yeah, those are the same people that
- 9:29Speaker 4: show up for stinky Boys. I just rolled through. Those
- 9:32Speaker 4: are homeless people.
- 9:34Speaker 7: The people that go to the Union Square for the
- 9:36Speaker 7: PS five.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Given I was there, those are those are all white
- 9:42Speaker 1: seventeen year olds to say, like, start every sentence with
- 9:44Speaker 1: bro Bro.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Bro wanted to Bro wanted to shoot the cops. Bro
- 9:48Speaker 4: Bro thought he was going to kill the cops with
- 9:50Speaker 4: a skull emoji.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Bro tried to throw a plant at the cops to
- 9:53Speaker 1: kill them.
- 9:54Speaker 4: You think people are going to be using emojis in
- 9:55Speaker 4: real life in the future, like the way people say
- 9:58Speaker 4: lo l out loud the gates say on the ac
- 10:01Speaker 4: they did. Yeah, I was thinking about that a little bit.
- 10:05Speaker 4: He's a little too old for that. He is of
- 10:08Speaker 4: age means younger than you.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm saying he's too old to do.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Old ass, old head, I know, and you don't hear
- 10:14Speaker 4: llolling out loud. I'm thirty four, old head. No, you're
- 10:18Speaker 4: not that old roan. Yeah, speaking of that, I saw
- 10:24Speaker 4: someone that I went to high school with at a
- 10:25Speaker 4: bar this weekend on Saturday, a girl who was like
- 10:28Speaker 4: two years older than me.
- 10:30Speaker 1: And how she doing that?
- 10:32Speaker 4: I barely knew is she decaying? She looked fine, but
- 10:37Speaker 4: she was. She did this thing. She did this one
- 10:39Speaker 4: thing that I've been thinking about NonStop, where she was like, oh,
- 10:42Speaker 4: my parents always asked me about you, like if I
- 10:43Speaker 4: ever see you out and stuff in New York. And
- 10:46Speaker 4: she's like, I remember when you were just like this big,
- 10:48Speaker 4: and I'm like, you were one year older than me,
- 10:51Speaker 4: you were the same height. It's like, what do you
- 10:53Speaker 4: Why are you talking to I got why are you're
- 10:55Speaker 4: talking to me? Like I was sixty years old and
- 10:57Speaker 4: you were twenty. It's crazy.
- 11:00Speaker 7: She's proud of you.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I remember when you were just little, just a little
- 11:03Speaker 1: tiny eleventh grade around breast.
- 11:05Speaker 7: Yeah. But okay, here's my question, Uh, what is the
- 11:09Speaker 7: age gap you need in terms of hiring a babysitter?
- 11:13Speaker 7: How much older does a babysitter need to be van
- 11:15Speaker 7: your children? For that.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Babysitters that were like five years older than five? Is
- 11:19Speaker 4: that the year the number of years closer. I think
- 11:22Speaker 4: I went closer than five, which is not right.
- 11:25Speaker 7: Really.
- 11:25Speaker 1: I think it's a little bit too close I had.
- 11:28Speaker 4: I think I had babysitters that were like my older
- 11:29Speaker 4: sister's friends. Yeah, she's one year older than me, Come on.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Maybe.
- 11:34Speaker 4: I think it's also part of just like the idea
- 11:36Speaker 4: of just being with a there's a duo o, there's
- 11:37Speaker 4: two of you guys there. You're not just there running
- 11:39Speaker 4: solo like someone's gonna be like, yeah, maybe don't drink
- 11:42Speaker 4: bleach right now, you know what I mean.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I was being a rascal to a babysitter one time
- 11:46Speaker 1: and he slammed me up against the wall, and I like,
- 11:49Speaker 1: I like, uh, I was like, mom, she slammed me,
- 11:52Speaker 1: and she she didn't hire him again. I told on.
- 11:56Speaker 7: Him, told on him.
- 11:56Speaker 4: I told on my babysitter all the time.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I guess me against the wall was but I always
- 12:01Speaker 1: felt guilty on it. I was like, damn, I lost
- 12:03Speaker 1: that guy's job. But if he did slam me, I was.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Slamming a child against the wall as a babysitter is
- 12:09Speaker 4: not a good idea.
- 12:10Speaker 7: One time we had this dude babysitting us, my sister
- 12:14Speaker 7: and me, and he brought a friend. Yeah, we had buddy.
- 12:18Speaker 7: But that was fine. But then they cooked us dinner
- 12:21Speaker 7: and they made eggs. They made scrambled eggs for us,
- 12:24Speaker 7: and they made us six eggs, and it was supposed
- 12:28Speaker 7: to be sort of dinner for everyone, and they put
- 12:31Speaker 7: it on the serving plate. But the serving plate they
- 12:33Speaker 7: used was just a regular plate.
- 12:34Speaker 4: Six eggs, and.
- 12:35Speaker 7: So I just started eating it, and they were going
- 12:38Speaker 7: and making other things. And then they turned back and
- 12:40Speaker 7: I had eaten it all. And they thought it was
- 12:43Speaker 7: I had eaten everyone's dinner.
- 12:44Speaker 1: They thought you were naughty.
- 12:46Speaker 7: Well, they were just astounded.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Six eggs is like six eggs is not a lot
- 12:50Speaker 4: of eggs.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Especially for a growing boy. How old were you?
- 12:53Speaker 7: Probably eight eight years old?
- 12:56Speaker 1: That is a hardy plate of eggs.
- 12:58Speaker 7: But good play to eggs.
- 12:59Speaker 1: I'd be more suspicious of these two men who were
- 13:01Speaker 1: coming to your house to cook together. I know, like
- 13:04Speaker 1: some fucking call me by your name? Ship WHOA I
- 13:07Speaker 1: like that?
- 13:07Speaker 7: Yeah? Good reference. Uh, well, they did let us watch
- 13:11Speaker 7: Keenan and Kel.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Strong reference.
- 13:18Speaker 1: They let you watch Keenan and Kel.
- 13:21Speaker 7: I think we watched Keenan and cal We watched all
- 13:23Speaker 7: that because those two always were back to back.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Yeah, it was TV shows. TV shows were what happened
- 13:29Speaker 1: before YouTube. YouTube's like early streaming ship, Secret Life of
- 13:34Speaker 1: Alex Man.
- 13:34Speaker 4: He shows actually were never on YouTube.
- 13:36Speaker 1: It's like YouTube. I was trying to contextualize it for.
- 13:39Speaker 4: You, dumb ass here ball. What do you what are
- 13:44Speaker 4: you sad that you missed? I didn't miss anything from
- 13:48Speaker 4: our generation. What what did I miss?
- 13:50Speaker 7: That's my question?
- 13:51Speaker 4: Black and white television?
- 13:55Speaker 1: What else?
- 13:56Speaker 7: Keep it coming?
- 13:57Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 13:57Speaker 7: What do you look back on that we had that
- 13:59Speaker 7: you didn't have.
- 14:00Speaker 1: You're like a five and ten like toy store five cents,
- 14:04Speaker 1: ten cents for everything the toy store.
- 14:08Speaker 4: I I I had a pretty normal child.
- 14:10Speaker 1: We used to have this game and it was a
- 14:12Speaker 1: ring and a stick and you would hit the stick
- 14:16Speaker 1: along and it would just rolled down stick. It was incredible.
- 14:18Speaker 4: Sounds miserable. It sounds so insanely boring.
- 14:22Speaker 7: You just beat that thing till you, you know, it fell.
- 14:25Speaker 4: You guys were playing with fucking wood. We had these
- 14:28Speaker 4: things called Lincoln logs.
- 14:30Speaker 7: Lincoln Long's Brioh.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I had a big old can of Lincoln logs.
- 14:34Speaker 4: Lincoln logs came in a big, big tube. Yeah, you'd
- 14:37Speaker 4: empty them all out and you make a little house.
- 14:38Speaker 1: It's interesting before the internet, you missed that.
- 14:41Speaker 4: Ope, I was alive when we didn't have the internet.
- 14:44Speaker 4: You were, I guess not remember nine eleven. We didn't
- 14:48Speaker 4: have like a computer in our house.
- 14:49Speaker 7: You didn't have nine to eleven. We had nine eleven.
- 14:51Speaker 4: I was alive for nine eleven.
- 14:53Speaker 1: I didn't come. You weren't conscious. It was that was
- 14:55Speaker 1: our You didn't get scared. Yeah, I did know you
- 14:58Speaker 1: did it.
- 14:58Speaker 4: I called my mom, didn't he Yes, I did.
- 15:02Speaker 1: You did it. You don't get You don't get to
- 15:04Speaker 1: claim nine to eleven like you were spooked.
- 15:06Speaker 4: I called my mom and made sure she was.
- 15:08Speaker 7: When someone's like, where do you remember where you were
- 15:10Speaker 7: on nine to eleven, you can't say yes.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Because you were one. You were the size of a
- 15:13Speaker 1: cell phone.
- 15:14Speaker 4: You were driving home from the grocery store with my mother.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Oh, you were driving driving the car.
- 15:18Speaker 4: I can ask her right now, she would shit exact same.
- 15:20Speaker 1: You were on the ring.
- 15:22Speaker 7: Yeah, you were a glint in your father's eye.
- 15:26Speaker 1: You found out.
- 15:27Speaker 4: I found that was on the We found out through
- 15:28Speaker 4: the radio, and we were so fucking scared.
- 15:34Speaker 1: You guys were sitting around the rings.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Didn't know what was going on. There was another plane.
- 15:40Speaker 1: It was zero years old.
- 15:41Speaker 7: I was in seventh grade.
- 15:42Speaker 4: We didn't know if the planes were going to come
- 15:44Speaker 4: for the grocery stores in suburban Massachusetts.
- 15:46Speaker 7: Come on, what age were you?
- 15:47Speaker 1: Actually?
- 15:48Speaker 7: Nine to eleven? That's two thousand and one?
- 15:50Speaker 4: What your reborn two thousand and one?
- 15:55Speaker 1: So he really was. He was the size of a
- 15:57Speaker 1: cell phone.
- 15:57Speaker 4: I was born in April two thousand and one. I
- 15:59Speaker 4: was probably six months old.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Yeah, not even here, five months.
- 16:04Speaker 4: We were so fucking scared. Yeah, I'll never forget that day.
- 16:09Speaker 4: I remember I looked at my mom and I said,
- 16:10Speaker 4: everything is you put down the tit and looked at
- 16:13Speaker 4: the TV. I said, everything changes right now.
- 16:17Speaker 1: You took your bankie out of your mouth, sucking your
- 16:19Speaker 1: jaw drop.
- 16:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I said, all that just pulling out to the
- 16:22Speaker 4: airport five minutes before your flight, all of that changes.
- 16:25Speaker 7: I feel like this is a big thing that we
- 16:27Speaker 7: have that he doesn't have. He doesn't get.
- 16:30Speaker 1: He's like, oh, what did you what did you guys have?
- 16:32Speaker 4: Uh?
- 16:32Speaker 1: Fucking baked in trauma islamophobia?
- 16:36Speaker 4: Yeah, must have been really scared in Philly. You don't
- 16:39Speaker 4: guys have your own.
- 16:40Speaker 1: We were right there, we were doing.
- 16:41Speaker 7: It to yourself. It wasn't even so much that we
- 16:43Speaker 7: were scared. You know. What we really had, though, was
- 16:45Speaker 7: we had camaraderie. Yes, and we had patriotists. Remember George
- 16:50Speaker 7: Bush throughout that first pitch. Don't tell me you remember,
- 16:52Speaker 7: you just remember that from watching it on YouTube yesterday.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Fucking I remember.
- 16:56Speaker 4: I looked at my mom and I said, if he
- 16:57Speaker 4: did not throw a perfect strike there, this country could
- 17:00Speaker 4: have crumbled.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Yes, that's really how you you joke, but that's really
- 17:05Speaker 1: how it was. It was we were so unified against terrorism, yes, yeah.
- 17:11Speaker 7: And the big thing we did, the big thing we
- 17:13Speaker 7: did in real Maine was when when we'd all get
- 17:16Speaker 7: to a four corner stop, four stop signs, four cars
- 17:19Speaker 7: arriving similar times, someone would say go ahead, and then
- 17:23Speaker 7: the next guy would be like no, no, no, you go,
- 17:25Speaker 7: And there was so much go ahead, so much graciousness,
- 17:28Speaker 7: so much generosity of spirit. We are fellow Americans, we're
- 17:32Speaker 7: all in this together. That people would just sit in
- 17:34Speaker 7: their cars at four stops, four corner stops, for like
- 17:36Speaker 7: ten minutes.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Yeah, red and blue, they all set down the flags,
- 17:39Speaker 1: the Democrats, the Republicans, the bloods of the crypts. Everybody
- 17:42Speaker 1: was with.
- 17:42Speaker 4: One another, one was joined.
- 17:44Speaker 1: And the USA chance. You should have fucking heard them.
- 17:47Speaker 7: You should have heard them.
- 17:48Speaker 4: That was the only time this country's ever actually been united.
- 17:50Speaker 7: You might have heard them in the womb.
- 17:52Speaker 4: Actually, the the USA chance, it was out of the womb.
- 17:55Speaker 1: You hop back into the womb like a kangaroo. You
- 17:58Speaker 1: slept in the womb up to nine months, so I
- 18:00Speaker 1: know that about you climb back in. But the USA
- 18:03Speaker 1: chance at every sporting event, big deal. They were fucking sick. Dude.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Have you ever even done a USA chante? You probably have,
- 18:10Speaker 1: are ashamed to do a USA chant.
- 18:12Speaker 7: Yeah, you probably got it.
- 18:13Speaker 4: A USA chant recently for the anthem?
- 18:16Speaker 1: I don't know. Yeah, right, isn't that funny? We used
- 18:18Speaker 1: to do us a chance of sporting events. Now we
- 18:21Speaker 1: fucking kneel for.
- 18:21Speaker 7: The end his whole generation kneeling for the anthem.
- 18:24Speaker 1: It's like, thanks a lot. Fuck. Yeah.
- 18:28Speaker 4: I remember when the Boston bombing happened. I had a
- 18:30Speaker 4: very similar feeling to how I felt on nine to eleven,
- 18:34Speaker 4: where it's just pure you're so scared and you just
- 18:38Speaker 4: don't know.
- 18:38Speaker 1: You probably felt radical. I think it's the.
- 18:40Speaker 4: Fear of the unknowing, you know, the fear of not knowing,
- 18:44Speaker 4: you know what I mean. That's how I when I
- 18:45Speaker 4: was Yeah.
- 18:46Speaker 7: Yeah, if you'd ever run another Marita.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Be under attack, dude, then imagine that by times one thousand.
- 18:55Speaker 1: It can't you can't. I was alive. Your brain's too small.
- 18:59Speaker 7: Weren't till yes, I was. I don't count life for
- 19:03Speaker 7: me starting until four. I would say four four four. Yeah,
- 19:08Speaker 7: I think it's two to four.
- 19:09Speaker 4: And weren't a lot. You weren't a child when it
- 19:11Speaker 4: was nine to eleven?
- 19:12Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 19:13Speaker 7: No, I was a full man. I was a man.
- 19:15Speaker 7: I got almost got drafted. Not a man they were.
- 19:18Speaker 1: They were drafting seventh and eighth graders.
- 19:20Speaker 7: They were drafting me because we could fit in the caves.
- 19:22Speaker 1: How old were you? I was a seventh seventh grade?
- 19:26Speaker 1: Was that twelve? Thirteen? Thirteen? You were not?
- 19:28Speaker 4: Thirteen?
- 19:29Speaker 7: Sure?
- 19:29Speaker 4: Was great?
- 19:30Speaker 1: Yes you are? What are you talking, bro? I guess
- 19:32Speaker 1: you were twelve? Personally, respect on it.

- 20:07Speaker 7: That's all you've got.
- 20:10Speaker 1: I thought it was about to be the George Floyd
- 20:11Speaker 1: Rides again with the Kai Sinnat ship. Why people in
- 20:16Speaker 1: the streets, It's like a familiar feeling, the riots in
- 20:18Speaker 1: the streets.
- 20:19Speaker 4: It is that feeling of just fear, of just wondering of.
- 20:24Speaker 1: It's like, could I break into Macy's right now and
- 20:27Speaker 1: steal something? If I wore the right clothes, would they
- 20:31Speaker 1: identify me as the one who broke into the Louis
- 20:33Speaker 1: Vuitton section of macy.
- 20:35Speaker 4: The reason that nine to eleven started was because the
- 20:37Speaker 4: whole reason that happened was because Osam bin Laden was
- 20:40Speaker 4: doing a meet up and he was giving away PlayStation two's.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Station one's, yeah, the original game boys.
- 20:47Speaker 4: That he was giving heard a rumor that there was
- 20:50Speaker 4: a large quantity of PlayStation ones a lo.
- 20:56Speaker 7: Towers. That feels cudible.
- 21:01Speaker 1: I think it's sticks. I think it's that. It's history,
- 21:04Speaker 1: that's what happens.
- 21:06Speaker 4: I'm not I'm just saying what I read and I'm
- 21:07Speaker 4: not saying it's true that he heard and shoot the messenger.
- 21:11Speaker 1: He was trying to give away a bunch of he
- 21:13Speaker 1: was was it Game Boys or was it PS one's
- 21:16Speaker 1: PS I think it was.
- 21:18Speaker 4: I want to say it was. I want to say
- 21:21Speaker 4: it was PS twos with the SingStar extension. It comes
- 21:23Speaker 4: with the microphones, and those were tough to get, and.
- 21:26Speaker 1: He was flying them in and he was flying them.
- 21:30Speaker 4: And he was a cloudy day.
- 21:32Speaker 1: And there was just I mean in the cockpit they
- 21:34Speaker 1: started fighting over who would get one he could like smuggle.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Who wanted the blue microphone versus up the red microphone?
- 21:40Speaker 4: And I want to be player one? Oh, I want
- 21:42Speaker 4: to be player one? What is that tower? Nine to eleven?
- 21:47Speaker 1: Yeah, just accidentally, just a.
- 21:52Speaker 7: Lot of people died. Harry.
- 21:55Speaker 1: He just doesn't matter, He doesn't get it, doesn't understand it.
- 22:00Speaker 1: This guy, it's okay. He just literally can't compreate. He
- 22:04Speaker 1: can't wrap his mind around.
- 22:06Speaker 7: Well, to him, it's just that first paragraph of the
- 22:08Speaker 7: Wikipedia page on nine to eleven. That's all he that's
- 22:11Speaker 7: his I don't have to read the Wikipedia page. Frame
- 22:14Speaker 7: of Wikipedia page.
- 22:19Speaker 1: It's true. Black cloud of death.
- 22:21Speaker 7: Good segment. That was fun. We're fucking ripped it today.
- 22:25Speaker 7: It is a good app.
- 22:28Speaker 1: It is a fucking blast. Good. You're setting us off
- 22:30Speaker 1: on our journey of having guests on this show.
- 22:33Speaker 7: Well, Hairball and I have this kind of big brother
- 22:36Speaker 7: little brother relationship and we get a little compative, but
- 22:40Speaker 7: we we never get mad. Yeah, that's what's what makes
- 22:43Speaker 7: it so fun.
- 22:44Speaker 4: Totally, it is.
- 22:45Speaker 1: It makes it well. You just bring you just You
- 22:48Speaker 1: don't let him be sad for too long. You let
- 22:50Speaker 1: him leave him to his own devices. He's just gonna
- 22:52Speaker 1: get all sad. You bring out that opposite.
- 22:54Speaker 4: I'm so happy when I'm by myself.
- 22:58Speaker 1: You bring out the mirth out of him.
- 22:59Speaker 4: Yeah, we need to earlier this morning throwing a podcast
- 23:02Speaker 4: on the TV. Had some coffee you did. I had
- 23:04Speaker 4: a great time, just laughed in my shaft off and
- 23:06Speaker 4: only nine a m.
- 23:09Speaker 1: The show were you watch? Nine?
- 23:11Speaker 4: I was watching?
- 23:12Speaker 1: Uh heard that phrase?
- 23:15Speaker 7: Have I and I just loved the image.
- 23:18Speaker 4: Since nine to eleven, the last time we said it, yeah,
- 23:23Speaker 4: they retired that.
- 23:24Speaker 1: We don't say that anymore.
- 23:25Speaker 4: Nothing to laugh about. What's so funny?
- 23:27Speaker 1: Shaft?
- 23:27Speaker 4: Was this?
- 23:28Speaker 2: Ever?
- 23:28Speaker 1: Since those elevator shafts. We don't joke about shafts. Well done.
- 23:32Speaker 7: I was wondering how we could get there. I tie
- 23:35Speaker 7: that in.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I was watching Dan Soder's new podcast with Lewis
- 23:40Speaker 4: gomaz and Joe List and Bobby Kelly.
- 23:42Speaker 1: That came up on my really fun but it was funny. Yeah.
- 23:46Speaker 4: We just kept comparing themselves to protect our parks, and
- 23:49Speaker 4: it was hilarious.
- 23:50Speaker 1: What was it? What's it called the rags? The rags?
- 23:53Speaker 1: And do they all do it together? Is it going
- 23:55Speaker 1: to be them every week? Or they were guests on
- 23:56Speaker 1: the first episode.
- 23:57Speaker 4: I think's supposed to be them every week, but I
- 23:58Speaker 4: don't know if it's weekly or clear?
- 24:00Speaker 1: Would that ship is fire? You were laughing the shaft?
- 24:03Speaker 4: I was laughing in my fucking shaft.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Prove it. Show your stom.
- 24:08Speaker 7: What's the Head's still there? But the shaft is gone.
- 24:11Speaker 7: It's all had.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Now, Like removing the leaf of your table table, it
- 24:17Speaker 1: just consolidated the leaf.
- 24:19Speaker 4: Of the table. I haven't heard that in a fucking while.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Your leaf tables do have.
- 24:24Speaker 4: I mean my dad used to when we were it
- 24:25Speaker 4: was like a holiday coming up and like, come on,
- 24:27Speaker 4: we're gonna go put the leaf the leaf And that
- 24:29Speaker 4: was always a fucking night.
- 24:31Speaker 7: Wait is the leaf the middle or in the middle.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Of that extends it? And usually maybe there's two leafs.
- 24:37Speaker 4: We had, Yeah, And I remember my dad just like
- 24:42Speaker 4: just the noises he was letting a trying to put
- 24:45Speaker 4: the leaf in, and I would be like, I think
- 24:46Speaker 4: it's in because you have to like line it up
- 24:49Speaker 4: perfectly to get the two pieces to going smoothly. But
- 24:53Speaker 4: it was always like it. He would come up to
- 24:55Speaker 4: my room with like the look of just just like await,
- 24:59Speaker 4: Like he was so that he had to put the
- 25:00Speaker 4: leaf in, and he knew it was going to be terrible.
- 25:02Speaker 1: We both knew, and you want to just leave it in.
- 25:05Speaker 1: I feel like your family was big enough, but you
- 25:07Speaker 1: could have just left the leaf in.
- 25:08Speaker 4: I don't know why we didn't. I never understood why
- 25:10Speaker 4: we didn't just leave it in or just get a
- 25:11Speaker 4: bigger table.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Well, it takes up a lot of room.
- 25:13Speaker 7: It was.
- 25:14Speaker 4: The leaf was like this big it wasn't It was
- 25:15Speaker 4: adding like two dinner spots masks.
- 25:17Speaker 7: Well maybe maybe you know your parents were aware that
- 25:22Speaker 7: to have a normal dinner for whatever, four people six six,
- 25:27Speaker 7: But like your typical dinner without the leaf in is four? Right? No?
- 25:32Speaker 1: Six?
- 25:32Speaker 7: With it six? How many families member? Too many siblies?
- 25:35Speaker 1: Do you have?
- 25:35Speaker 7: Three?
- 25:36Speaker 1: Oh?
- 25:37Speaker 7: And then when you had company you would add the least.
- 25:40Speaker 4: When it was like Thanksgiving or Christmas or something, we
- 25:42Speaker 4: were having people over to go.
- 25:44Speaker 7: Okay, so the table looks right with six seats around it,
- 25:49Speaker 7: and then to make it eight you walk into that
- 25:53Speaker 7: room and you say that table's way too big for
- 25:56Speaker 7: this family.
- 25:57Speaker 1: It would make it like ten. Yeah, so you just
- 25:59Speaker 1: said two season four seats.
- 26:00Speaker 4: Well no, because there's you're forgetting about the heads of
- 26:02Speaker 4: the table. Fools only thought about the side.
- 26:06Speaker 1: The doctor was a woman.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Clearly you're not thinking about the head. It was an
- 26:09Speaker 4: ice pick. It was one, two, three, four five.
- 26:13Speaker 7: You haven't told the shape at the table. I pictured
- 26:16Speaker 7: it being round on the edges.
- 26:17Speaker 4: You don't add a leaf to you don't have a
- 26:22Speaker 4: leaf to around.
- 26:23Speaker 7: Yes, you certainly could you fool that the ends could
- 26:29Speaker 7: be rounded?
- 26:30Speaker 4: No? No, no, no, no, you'd have to put like
- 26:33Speaker 4: a whole nother table around it.
- 26:35Speaker 1: What was the most people that came over to your
- 26:37Speaker 1: house for a holiday.
- 26:38Speaker 4: Dude, all of my family members live in the same town.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Would they all go to your house though? Or you
- 26:43Speaker 1: would rotate rotate, So some years it would be everybody
- 26:45Speaker 1: at your house.
- 26:45Speaker 4: It depends Christmas usually my cousin or Christmas usually our
- 26:49Speaker 4: Christmas Eve, our house, Christmas, my grandparents, Thanksgiving, my cousins.
- 26:54Speaker 4: But we used to go to Chicago for Thanksgiving because
- 26:57Speaker 4: my cousins used to live in Chicago.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Interesting, that was the most people you would you guys
- 27:01Speaker 1: would have over grown up.
- 27:03Speaker 7: Well, we did host a Thanksgiving one year and we had,
- 27:06Speaker 7: you know, two sets of hunts and uncles, two grandparents,
- 27:11Speaker 7: and then about seven or eight cousins. Yeah, big kids
- 27:16Speaker 7: table at team to eighteen eighteen people something like that.
- 27:19Speaker 7: Well we all packed in around the table.
- 27:22Speaker 4: You didn't have a kid's table.
- 27:24Speaker 7: Well no, not that year that I'm thinking of.
- 27:26Speaker 4: Now, kids table was the best. The kids table is
- 27:29Speaker 4: the best kids table. You're just throwing down like chicken fingers.
- 27:32Speaker 4: I have sons. I have requested the kid's table at weddings.
- 27:36Speaker 4: I skill said at the kids typically that gets me uninvited. Yeah, sure,
- 27:42Speaker 4: I smell. I'm twenty two and I'm still not allowed
- 27:45Speaker 4: at the grown grown ups table. I could see that
- 27:48Speaker 4: there's not enough seats. They're like, no, you guys are
- 27:49Speaker 4: always going to be at the kids.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Table, kids table, rocks man kid's table. I think a
- 27:54Speaker 1: lot of people would disagree with that. I think a
- 27:55Speaker 1: lot of people think of it as an indignity to.
- 27:57Speaker 4: Be a lot of people want to get moved up
- 27:59Speaker 4: to the grown ups table. And then you get moved
- 28:00Speaker 4: up to the grown up table once and you're like,
- 28:01Speaker 4: this sucks. Bring me back to the kids table, and
- 28:05Speaker 4: we just get Now, we just get fucked up at
- 28:06Speaker 4: the kids table.
- 28:07Speaker 7: I met some kids this week twenty I met some
- 28:09Speaker 7: kids this weekend. Who that was a funny bet. We
- 28:13Speaker 7: can keep talking about that.
- 28:13Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, it wasn't even a bit.
- 28:15Speaker 7: You found something and I didn't want to. I was
- 28:18Speaker 7: pivoting off, but then you had you had some gas.
- 28:21Speaker 7: I've always got a gas, brother, we have some gas
- 28:23Speaker 7: in the tank, and I now want to I feel
- 28:25Speaker 7: bad for just try and keep up. Well. I was
- 28:28Speaker 7: moving on, I was moving ahead, and then you said.
- 28:31Speaker 4: I already moved on. Wait and you're still going about it.
- 28:33Speaker 4: There's more hold on And then I backtracked. I moved
- 28:37Speaker 4: on an hour ago.
- 28:39Speaker 7: I feel like, you want to talk about drinking at
- 28:41Speaker 7: the kids table. Ten beers getting sucked up.
- 28:44Speaker 4: Haha, No, no, it seems like you're insecure.
- 28:48Speaker 7: No, no, I'm polite.
- 28:50Speaker 4: You didn't even you never even you didn't even know
- 28:51Speaker 4: you could drink at the kid's table. That's why.
- 28:54Speaker 7: Uh, well it's about typically, but I'm there. I want
- 28:56Speaker 7: to be like them, and I'm having a root beer
- 28:58Speaker 7: or something.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Yeah, that's lame to the kids.
- 29:01Speaker 7: Well, it creates a conversation starter because then you're like them.
- 29:05Speaker 7: They trust you. Next thing you know, people are opening
- 29:07Speaker 7: up and it's more fun.
- 29:08Speaker 4: They've still going on about the kids table. Brother, and
- 29:10Speaker 4: we moved on from that.
- 29:11Speaker 7: That was your topic choice.
- 29:12Speaker 4: Oh it wasn't.
- 29:13Speaker 7: You were like drinking kids table one.
- 29:15Speaker 4: That was like, I like to sit at the kids
- 29:16Speaker 4: table at weddings because I want to look at all
- 29:17Speaker 4: the little kids.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Which I said, leaves in passing and you're like, oh, leaves, leaves,
- 29:21Speaker 1: there's something here, let's leave.
- 29:22Speaker 4: We had something there. I was glad we got into leafs.
- 29:25Speaker 7: We did cover leaves. We had a lot of time
- 29:27Speaker 7: on leaves. We I think we voted enough. That was good.
- 29:30Speaker 7: That was good. We sank our teeth into that.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so that was just the offshoot of leaves.
- 29:33Speaker 4: What were you going to say, Francis at this point,
- 29:36Speaker 4: I'm not sure it's worthy.
- 29:38Speaker 1: We got well, there's only one way for us to
- 29:40Speaker 1: find I'm sure it's worthy after the fact. We could
- 29:42Speaker 1: be like, Okay, I'm gonna be in Philly this weekend.
- 29:44Speaker 1: By the way, Yeah, tickets shows. He's chopping off your
- 29:50Speaker 1: hand at the door like a thief and agroba like
- 29:54Speaker 1: a thief in the night.
- 29:56Speaker 7: I met some kids this week weekend. I met some
- 29:58Speaker 7: kids children. Yeah, I met some kids and they didn't
- 30:01Speaker 7: know me, and they liked me without knowing me, which
- 30:04Speaker 7: was cool.
- 30:05Speaker 1: That's fire.
- 30:06Speaker 7: Yeah, Like they didn't know my name and we One
- 30:08Speaker 7: of them had a passive fire.
- 30:09Speaker 4: They know you, like worked at barstool though, uh no,
- 30:12Speaker 4: I don't think we've seen you on barstool.
- 30:14Speaker 7: Well they probably knew, but they couldn't place me.
- 30:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:17Speaker 7: Yeah, they probably were like I've seen that guy. Yeah,
- 30:20Speaker 7: how do I know you?
- 30:21Speaker 1: What age are we talking? About so I.
- 30:24Speaker 7: Think one was probably two and a half to three
- 30:28Speaker 7: is Oh, so.
- 30:29Speaker 1: They definitely watched Pizeza reviews at least. Yeah. Yeah, they
- 30:33Speaker 1: saw me stop traffick on the shoulder, you know, chicken
- 30:37Speaker 1: fry stuff.
- 30:38Speaker 7: Yeah, they're bff's fans primarily, but they'll watch an occasional
- 30:42Speaker 7: piece review and then tune into like pardon my taking
- 30:45Speaker 7: football season makes sense, So they they one of the
- 30:50Speaker 7: kids had a pacifier, but it was like it had
- 30:53Speaker 7: a giraffe attachment. It was a very dangly pacifier, so
- 30:58Speaker 7: it was like a passifire and then there was this
- 30:59Speaker 7: big stuffed animal that came off of it seems heavy,
- 31:02Speaker 7: and he came up to me and tried to feed
- 31:05Speaker 7: one of the legs of the giraffe into my mouth
- 31:08Speaker 7: and then I took it. And then we played Tug
- 31:10Speaker 7: of war.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Oh like a dog.
- 31:12Speaker 7: Yeah, very it was a really good game.
- 31:16Speaker 1: And both videos of Joe Biden doing.
- 31:19Speaker 7: That yeah yeah, yeah, just like that. That might be
- 31:22Speaker 7: the very one actually that acts.
- 31:24Speaker 4: Like a fucking whole less that's too much banky, Yeah,
- 31:27Speaker 4: way too much. You don't want to have a bank
- 31:29Speaker 4: that's going to hurt the next.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Yeah, this kid's going to have a tekio Spike's neck.
- 31:32Speaker 7: Look, I wasn't. I wasn't about to shame him for
- 31:35Speaker 7: the weight of his banking.
- 31:36Speaker 4: I would be shaming the parents.
- 31:38Speaker 7: I don't do that. Everybody parents their own way.
- 31:41Speaker 4: You should start.
- 31:42Speaker 1: It's on their own journey. Okay, so you're not on
- 31:45Speaker 1: this playing.
- 31:45Speaker 7: I'm playing tug of war with him, and he's giggling
- 31:48Speaker 7: his head off. We haven't talked to each other.
- 31:50Speaker 4: Yeah, because he can't understand words.
- 31:52Speaker 7: Well, he can't speak because he's got a passifire in
- 31:55Speaker 7: his mouth. But I had chosen the right way to
- 31:57Speaker 7: play the game. I was like, we're going to play
- 31:58Speaker 7: tug of war. And then he's giggling. He's giggling, and
- 32:03Speaker 7: I let go and he flies backwards and then he
- 32:05Speaker 7: comes in. He goes again again more, you know. So
- 32:08Speaker 7: we do it probably ten more times. And then his
- 32:10Speaker 7: sister got involved, and she's two years older, maybe year
- 32:12Speaker 7: and a half older, and she was sort of, i
- 32:15Speaker 7: don't know, getting more like aggressive with the game. Like
- 32:19Speaker 7: he was pulling with his mouth, but she was pulling
- 32:21Speaker 7: with her arms. And so then I pretended that the
- 32:24Speaker 7: strength of the two combined children was actually pulling me
- 32:27Speaker 7: out of the chair, and my grand finale was to
- 32:29Speaker 7: tumble onto the floor and then they jumped on me
- 32:33Speaker 7: and we all like pigpile. It was really fun.
- 32:35Speaker 4: It sounds like really fun, sounds great, Oh my ideal
- 32:39Speaker 4: Friday night.
- 32:40Speaker 1: It does sound fun as fun playing with a gaggle
- 32:44Speaker 1: of new puppies. Yeah.
- 32:45Speaker 7: I get excited when parents see that I'm really taking
- 32:50Speaker 7: over the play and that I'm relating to the kids. Oh,
- 32:53Speaker 7: he's going to be a great dad. Yes, that guy,
- 32:56Speaker 7: I want that. I want that. The problem was no undertone,
- 32:59Speaker 7: no no introduction. I didn't know the kids' names, they
- 33:02Speaker 7: didn't know my name. They just knew I was a friend.
- 33:05Speaker 7: Here's an ally. I'm gonna hang out with that guy.
- 33:08Speaker 7: The problem was this was right before bed and I
- 33:11Speaker 7: wound them up, so it took a long time to
- 33:15Speaker 7: put them down.
- 33:16Speaker 1: So were the parents a little bit upset with you?
- 33:18Speaker 6: Like?
- 33:18Speaker 7: It was hard to tell they seemed to like that
- 33:21Speaker 7: that I had done that, because they were like, well,
- 33:23Speaker 7: now they'll sleep better because they had some exercise kind
- 33:26Speaker 7: of stuff. But without saying it, I could tell they
- 33:30Speaker 7: were like, next time, maybe come an hour earlier. You're
- 33:33Speaker 7: gonna play that game.
- 33:34Speaker 4: Definitely.
- 33:35Speaker 1: If you're going to play rope tug with my children, Yeah,
- 33:38Speaker 1: you're gonna tug of war with your teeth with my children.
- 33:41Speaker 7: I ferrol.
- 33:44Speaker 1: I hope.
- 33:45Speaker 7: So the the family was awesome. They were super cool people.
- 33:49Speaker 4: Iound a lot.
- 33:50Speaker 7: It's really cool. We put ping pong. It was fucking great.
- 33:53Speaker 1: You dominate in ping pong or what we were.
- 33:55Speaker 7: Honestly, we were just having such a good time that
- 33:57Speaker 7: we weren't even playing. We weren't even We're just rallying.
- 34:00Speaker 4: Yeah, you ever did you ever contemplate like sneaking back
- 34:03Speaker 4: being like this ping pong's not even scratching the itch.
- 34:06Speaker 4: I'd even come close.
- 34:07Speaker 7: I'll be honest with you.
- 34:08Speaker 4: I want to play.
- 34:09Speaker 1: I was.
- 34:09Speaker 7: I had eaten some I had eaten some hallucinogenic mushroom chocolates, okay,
- 34:13Speaker 7: and so I had no interest in trying to create a.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Were you on the mushrooms when you were chewing with
- 34:19Speaker 1: the kids?
- 34:19Speaker 7: I had taken them at that point, but I don't.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Know if they had.
- 34:23Speaker 7: And yeah, they must have, because it felt great having
- 34:29Speaker 7: kids jump on you people's elbow, my rib cage. I
- 34:33Speaker 7: loved it. I was laughing my head off. I loved it.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Yeah, that is the dream. That's what a bunch of
- 34:38Speaker 1: the mushers.
- 34:38Speaker 4: Were mad about. Yeah, you're tripping balls, like throwing their
- 34:42Speaker 4: kids around.
- 34:43Speaker 1: I know it's mad. The parents are fury.
- 34:45Speaker 7: Yeah, I loved it.
- 34:47Speaker 1: You're dragging them around. See that was worthwhile. That was
- 34:50Speaker 1: worthwhile to bring up.
- 34:51Speaker 7: That was the story.
- 34:52Speaker 4: Where was this?
- 34:54Speaker 7: That was on Saturday where we went upstate, went out
- 34:58Speaker 7: to like the Hudson Valleys.
- 35:00Speaker 1: It was a good time.
- 35:00Speaker 4: That's upstate. That's classic upstate activity.
- 35:04Speaker 1: I've seen. I saw a fucking ad for a boutique
- 35:07Speaker 1: hotel in the Hudson Valley and oh boy, so fucking
- 35:10Speaker 1: kitchy and fancy.
- 35:12Speaker 7: And I think I know which one you're talking about
- 35:13Speaker 7: it some of the O Bears one maybe were you
- 35:16Speaker 7: talking about or I don't know. It might have been smaller,
- 35:17Speaker 7: it might have been more BOUTIQUI they just built like
- 35:20Speaker 7: a big time train by the Hudson up to Albany.
- 35:24Speaker 1: So take you get to the Hudson Valley two hours.
- 35:26Speaker 7: Our place is like two hours away. Yeah, you take
- 35:29Speaker 7: the train and you drive. I took the train both ways.
- 35:31Speaker 7: I took the train this morning.
- 35:32Speaker 4: Nice.
- 35:32Speaker 7: I got on the seven eleven a M train. That
- 35:36Speaker 7: was early.
- 35:37Speaker 4: I was already up.
- 35:38Speaker 7: I doubt it.
- 35:39Speaker 4: I was up laughing, probably still was on my second.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Cup, laughing, shaft. Yeah, that's why you were having that
- 35:44Speaker 1: panic attack today. That's why you've been begging him for
- 35:46Speaker 1: some of his anax.
- 35:47Speaker 4: Well, I wasn't having a panic attack today.
- 35:49Speaker 1: You said you were right before the act started. You're like,
- 35:51Speaker 1: I should not have drank all that coffee.
- 35:53Speaker 4: I drank too much coffee. I was a little jittery.
- 35:55Speaker 4: I wasn't having a panic attack. You would know if
- 35:56Speaker 4: I was having a panic attack.
- 35:59Speaker 7: How does it look?
- 36:00Speaker 4: Oh?
- 36:02Speaker 7: Come on, do yell for help?
- 36:03Speaker 1: Yeah? What do you call?
- 36:05Speaker 7: I want one? Do you feel like you're having a
- 36:07Speaker 7: heart attack? A heart attack? Can you breathe?
- 36:10Speaker 4: No?
- 36:11Speaker 7: How many have you had?
- 36:12Speaker 4: Too? Wary?
- 36:13Speaker 5: Or?
- 36:13Speaker 7: Where? Did they happen?
- 36:15Speaker 4: In my car?
- 36:16Speaker 7: Really? Both as you were driving?
- 36:18Speaker 1: Yes?
- 36:20Speaker 7: What brought them on?
- 36:21Speaker 1: Do you know? No?
- 36:22Speaker 7: Just random like Tony Soprano.
- 36:24Speaker 4: Completely random driving my friend home?
- 36:28Speaker 1: Was this while you were at out out of high
- 36:30Speaker 1: school in college? No?
- 36:31Speaker 4: I was in high school at this point for both
- 36:33Speaker 4: of them.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Yes, but that's why you got on the the other
- 36:37Speaker 1: stuff kind of that makes sense, having panic attacks are
- 36:42Speaker 1: scary as fuck.
- 36:43Speaker 4: Oh yeah, it was paralyzed. Are youwhere Yeah, I couldn't move,
- 36:47Speaker 4: couldn't bend my legs driving.
- 36:49Speaker 7: Do you think you had anything to do with your
- 36:51Speaker 7: residual fear from nine to eleven?
- 36:54Speaker 4: Its stemmed definitely unprocessed trauma. It definitely was like I was, Yeah,
- 36:59Speaker 4: I was having flat so I was thinking about it.
- 37:01Speaker 1: You're driving along the road by the Pentagon. You know
- 37:04Speaker 1: that the plane was flying right over the highway, just
- 37:07Speaker 1: sitting like parallel to the road on the way into
- 37:09Speaker 1: the Pentagon. I did know that.
- 37:11Speaker 3: Man, I'll tell you what. When you're hungry out there,
- 37:13Speaker 3: you start acting like a rookie quarterback in his first game,
- 37:16Speaker 3: making bad decisions, messing up the basics, being all out
- 37:19Speaker 3: of sorts. That's where Snickers comes in.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Man.
- 37:22Speaker 3: That thing is packed roasted peanuts, nugget, carmel, milk, chocolate.
- 37:27Speaker 3: It's like the MVP of candy bars. And when you
- 37:30Speaker 3: bite into it, boom, it sorts you out. Get your
- 37:33Speaker 3: head back in the game of life. Satisfying your hunger,
- 37:36Speaker 3: remember this, Snickers handles your hunger so you can handle
- 37:39Speaker 3: everything else. Snicker satisfies Man, that's a winning play.
- 37:45Speaker 1: This is a perfect stretch. I mean, you can't beat
- 37:48Speaker 1: this stuff with a stick.
- 37:50Speaker 4: Now, this is good.
- 37:50Speaker 1: This is good stuff. All right, back to the show.
- 37:53Speaker 7: If you don't know, well, speaking of the Pentagon, I
- 37:55Speaker 7: will be in Arlington, Virginia at the Draft House in
- 38:00Speaker 7: It's November, oh I think.
- 38:02Speaker 4: And if you want to go to see someone at
- 38:04Speaker 4: the Draft House before that, I believe I'll be there
- 38:06Speaker 4: in October.
- 38:07Speaker 7: Yeah, but again, you're gonna just do you want to
- 38:11Speaker 7: get price gouged?
- 38:12Speaker 1: Goes here?
- 38:14Speaker 4: If you want to get market for your buck. You're
- 38:17Speaker 4: paying for a better show, is what you're doing. You're
- 38:19Speaker 4: paying I don't know that. I don't think that you're
- 38:21Speaker 4: paying for quality. You're paying for an experience. It's like
- 38:26Speaker 4: going to the box. You go see my show and
- 38:29Speaker 4: you know about you leave like it. You leave like
- 38:33Speaker 4: a changed man.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Have you been to the box?
- 38:35Speaker 4: Shocking?
- 38:35Speaker 7: There's no chance you've been.
- 38:37Speaker 4: That was stunning. I'm scared. I'm happy.
- 38:40Speaker 1: And he's never been to the box, hasn't He hasn't.
- 38:43Speaker 1: I haven't been in the box either, though I've.
- 38:45Speaker 7: Been, but I didn't. I wasn't happy to be going.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't like it.
- 38:50Speaker 4: Tyler went Tyler went recently went last night two weeks ago.
- 38:56Speaker 7: People just say they've had a good time when they go,
- 38:57Speaker 7: did you have a good time?
- 38:59Speaker 9: Yeah, I had a No, I had a lot of fun.
- 39:01Speaker 9: But the show is nothing. I'd pay for it. It
- 39:03Speaker 9: was a free ticket, so overrated.
- 39:05Speaker 4: I heard that sometimes you can just get ripped off
- 39:07Speaker 4: and there's not even any naked people on stage.
- 39:10Speaker 1: There's just naked people everywhere.
- 39:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I've heard.
- 39:12Speaker 1: I read.
- 39:12Speaker 4: I looked it up and I was reading about it
- 39:14Speaker 4: and said, sometimes there's just it's just a normal like
- 39:16Speaker 4: magic so show.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Wednesday night, weekday books.
- 39:19Speaker 7: Yeah, that's when it hits though, that's when the real
- 39:23Speaker 7: creeps go.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Yeah, when they staple their nut sacks there. Yeah, stuff
- 39:29Speaker 1: like that.
- 39:29Speaker 7: And it was you see that Rosebud character.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Uh is that the one that like ship out all
- 39:34Speaker 1: the soup. Yeah, yeah, that is so dumb.
- 39:37Speaker 4: I don't even know why anyone characters stick.
- 39:39Speaker 7: The shaft of a plunger all the way up their asshole.
- 39:42Speaker 9: Yeah no, yeah I did that, and then it's stuck
- 39:44Speaker 9: like soup down it in a diaper and then like
- 39:48Speaker 9: spit it out.
- 39:49Speaker 1: But yeah, it's crazy that that's like disgusting that's work
- 39:53Speaker 1: and they're just in the job and like they're between
- 39:55Speaker 1: like shifts. There's probably like a break room and that
- 39:58Speaker 1: they're just eating turkey sandwiches shit like that, like going
- 40:01Speaker 1: to work every single night and putting a stick up
- 40:04Speaker 1: your ass.
- 40:04Speaker 9: The girl did that with the sword and then turned
- 40:07Speaker 9: out she was a sword swallower, but we found out
- 40:09Speaker 9: out after it was just upper ass.
- 40:12Speaker 4: Is that like something that like is that like just
- 40:14Speaker 4: like a glorified version of like a freak show?
- 40:16Speaker 1: Yeah, smoke machine. Yeah, are the people like hot? Is
- 40:21Speaker 1: it like hot people doing this? No?
- 40:23Speaker 7: But good looking people go. Yeah, it's a very trendy
- 40:27Speaker 7: place that has been for many years now.
- 40:29Speaker 4: I wonder if there's they got to shut that place down.
- 40:32Speaker 1: I wonder about the stuff that you can't like find
- 40:35Speaker 1: online and get tickets to, like the businessmen meetings and
- 40:39Speaker 1: ship like that. Like then the high end finance like
- 40:43Speaker 1: guys who have been in the game for twenty years
- 40:45Speaker 1: and they're like tired of like the boxes child's play
- 40:48Speaker 1: to them eating sushi off people. Yes.
- 40:51Speaker 7: I played in an underground poker game once that was
- 40:56Speaker 7: high end and it was so cool.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Really, Yeah, what are we talkingalking about?
- 41:00Speaker 4: High end.
- 41:00Speaker 1: What do you mean high end?
- 41:01Speaker 7: Well, like you had to you had to know a
- 41:03Speaker 7: person and there was a password and you went in
- 41:06Speaker 7: and then it was like just in this you know,
- 41:09Speaker 7: it was like Molly's Game type of thing. But they
- 41:11Speaker 7: had real poker tables set up and then there was
- 41:14Speaker 7: a TV and sports were on and there was like
- 41:17Speaker 7: a bartender.
- 41:19Speaker 1: What was what was the password? I don't remember.
- 41:22Speaker 4: You got to remember. There may not have been a password,
- 41:24Speaker 4: but you like had to have not so exclusive then
- 41:27Speaker 4: was it? So if you say like you just went
- 41:30Speaker 4: to a casino, yeah, we had to show our IDs
- 41:34Speaker 4: to get in.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Bring you drink. There was poker tables. No Owen used
- 41:40Speaker 1: to go to uh like a shipping container. Yeah that's awesome. Yeah,
- 41:47Speaker 1: one guy who spoke English. I was just guessing it.
- 41:49Speaker 1: All Asian bros and a ship container smoking SIGs inside.
- 41:52Speaker 1: So it was like, yours is obviously not that.
- 41:57Speaker 7: I'll raise you that Estonian woman over.
- 41:59Speaker 1: There, Yeah, it was definitely taken.
- 42:01Speaker 7: Just sitting on that pile of bananas.
- 42:03Speaker 1: They definitely just were drugging juice sex slaves in a
- 42:07Speaker 1: good impossive way. Definitely a positive, but there has to
- 42:10Speaker 1: that shit has to be going on in New York.
- 42:12Speaker 1: I mean, yep, there has to be some weird ass
- 42:15Speaker 1: what movie where was it where they're like going like
- 42:17Speaker 1: asked ass cent. No, it was like Requiem for a
- 42:22Speaker 1: Dream or some shit like that, or twenty fifth Hour
- 42:25Speaker 1: or some shit like I.
- 42:26Speaker 4: Know that In that was it Enemy with Jake Gillenhall.
- 42:28Speaker 4: Have you just seen that? In the beginning of that,
- 42:31Speaker 4: he goes to one of those like weird sex freak
- 42:34Speaker 4: places and it's just a bunch of like rich dudes
- 42:36Speaker 4: sitting around watching that. You got to be a real
- 42:39Speaker 4: freak to go to that stuff and just sit and
- 42:41Speaker 4: watch like by yourself.
- 42:42Speaker 1: That's unrealistic.
- 42:43Speaker 9: Someone's birthday at the table we were at and like
- 42:46Speaker 9: one of the like the A waitresses came over. It's like, oh,
- 42:48Speaker 9: let's get you like your famous birthday drink, whipped out
- 42:50Speaker 9: her all tip and like rang it like a towel.
- 42:53Speaker 9: She came in and then she made the chick drink
- 42:55Speaker 9: it and she was like it was her birthday and
- 42:57Speaker 9: she was like traumatized.
- 42:58Speaker 7: It was breast milk. It was something she rang her
- 43:02Speaker 7: breast out, Yeah, like a towel. It was like, wait,
- 43:05Speaker 7: hold on, I'm a little confused. Was she squeezing her
- 43:08Speaker 7: breast and squeezing a liquid out of her nipples? Yeah?
- 43:11Speaker 1: Yeah, so it was breast milk, you would assume, But
- 43:13Speaker 1: it came out like a fire hose. Brother, it was
- 43:16Speaker 1: breast milk might come out like that. It was crazy.
- 43:18Speaker 9: That was like the first like if you just sat
- 43:21Speaker 9: down and we're like, oh, yeah, we're here at thirty seconds? Yeah,
- 43:25Speaker 9: what the look at each other because like the people
- 43:28Speaker 9: were with like one of one thought it was a
- 43:30Speaker 9: nightclub and we got there, like, brother, this is not
- 43:32Speaker 9: a night club.
- 43:34Speaker 7: They call it sort of a burlesque. I don't know.
- 43:37Speaker 7: It's uh, it's like the same people who try to
- 43:40Speaker 7: tell you that eleven in Miami is not a strip club,
- 43:42Speaker 7: that it's a cabaret. It's like, shut the fuck up.
- 43:45Speaker 7: They placed dollars into the thongs of dancing naked women.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Yeah, naked women walk around and ask you for dances
- 43:51Speaker 1: and dances they offer you money, yeah, or off your
- 43:54Speaker 1: dances for money.
- 43:56Speaker 7: Mm hm.
- 43:57Speaker 4: Which is very interesting.
- 43:58Speaker 1: We should just go together an episode.
- 44:00Speaker 7: From It would be fun to do that all together.
- 44:03Speaker 7: In fact, you you don't have a problem staying out late, No,
- 44:08Speaker 7: you just don't. She just not like clubbing and now
- 44:11Speaker 7: by music and stuff.
- 44:12Speaker 4: I like to sit at a table and get shit faced.
- 44:15Speaker 7: Well we could do that at a nightclub.
- 44:17Speaker 4: No, I don't like being in loud places either.
- 44:20Speaker 7: It's more fun to talk.
- 44:21Speaker 4: Yeah, to talk.
- 44:22Speaker 1: I was in a nightclub with him one time, and
- 44:24Speaker 1: he just plugged his ears and rocked back and forth.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Fan tired. I never saw anything like it.
- 44:30Speaker 4: I was with my I was with my friends this weekend,
- 44:32Speaker 4: and he was like, I remember when we went to that
- 44:34Speaker 4: club last year and you left right away. They all
- 44:36Speaker 4: walked in and we like waited in line, and we
- 44:38Speaker 4: walked in and we went downstairs, and I turned around
- 44:40Speaker 4: and just got a newburn and went home. I was like,
- 44:42Speaker 4: I can't fucking do this.
- 44:43Speaker 1: It's the right call.
- 44:44Speaker 4: Like body to body, can't move, waiting for a drink
- 44:46Speaker 4: takes three hours.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Used to be a nightclub guy, though.
- 44:50Speaker 7: Okay, yes, I would get up for it occasionally as
- 44:54Speaker 7: a celebratory thing more, oh it's someone's birthday or you know,
- 45:00Speaker 7: there's a reason for this. But the ones I liked
- 45:03Speaker 7: were typically the ones that had the day parties, so.
- 45:08Speaker 1: Like occasionally mon talk or some shit or no.
- 45:10Speaker 7: No in New York. I'm talking rooftop PhD. The Dream
- 45:15Speaker 7: Party was my favorite one. I've been there, so that's on. Yeah,
- 45:18Speaker 7: it's like funny seven. It starts at like seven pm,
- 45:21Speaker 7: yeah or maybe no, not even.
- 45:23Speaker 4: It starts earlier than that, five or something, and it
- 45:27Speaker 4: follows if everyone goes to Lavo Brunch, which starts at
- 45:30Speaker 4: like whatever noon one pm. The brunch is good and
- 45:34Speaker 4: it's good.
- 45:34Speaker 7: You know about this?
- 45:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I've done it, and did you like that? I
- 45:38Speaker 4: thought the brunch was fine, So then why don't we
- 45:40Speaker 4: do that? That would be fun. Turn up at a brunch,
- 45:43Speaker 4: Turn up at a brunch. Then we all go over.
- 45:45Speaker 7: To PhD, catch sunset at the Dream, get a table there,
- 45:49Speaker 7: and it's up. It's whatever, the fiftieth floor of the
- 45:52Speaker 7: Dream Hotel. It's all glass. You watch the sunset over
- 45:55Speaker 7: New York. But it's a great time to party because
- 45:57Speaker 7: the party ends at like nine, nine thirty and just
- 45:59Speaker 7: go home when you're like, I'm fucked up, but I'm
- 46:01Speaker 7: going to bed at a decent hour. That does sound
- 46:04Speaker 7: fun instead of having to, you know, be out till
- 46:06Speaker 7: three am and need uppers to get you through it.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Dude. I went to a bar in Brooklyn this weekend.
- 46:11Speaker 1: That might be my new favorite bar as just as
- 46:14Speaker 1: far as Atmosphere Tel in Red Hook called Brooklyn Crab.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Oh wow, that place rule. It's never been there before.
- 46:22Speaker 4: It's amazing. That place is really nice.
- 46:24Speaker 7: They've what.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Shut the fuck up?
- 46:34Speaker 4: I like that place, the Crab Hotel. It's on the
- 46:40Speaker 4: fiftieth floor. Those glass windows.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Wait, let's talk about let's just talk about going to
- 46:46Speaker 1: the stand every night. Then let's just talk about having
- 46:49Speaker 1: the same meal at the stand, having the same amount
- 46:51Speaker 1: of drinks, and then walking back and just living life
- 46:54Speaker 1: on a moving walkway.
- 46:56Speaker 4: I don't do that, man.
- 47:00Speaker 10: All that that's the sound of extremely processed dog food,
- 47:04Speaker 10: which is the norm at most pet food companies. But
- 47:07Speaker 10: at the Farmer's Dog we do things differently. We gently
- 47:11Speaker 10: cook our food without ultra processing. It's developed by our
- 47:15Speaker 10: team aboard certified nutritionists, made to human grade safety standards
- 47:19Speaker 10: and portion for your dog, then delivered right to your door.
- 47:23Speaker 10: How does that sound to you? Get fifty percent off
- 47:26Speaker 10: your first box, available only at the Farmersdog dot com.
- 47:30Speaker 1: To a fun one with Francis Ellis. Let's talk about
- 47:33Speaker 1: doing the exact same thing.
- 47:35Speaker 4: I go out all the time.
- 47:36Speaker 7: If Harry's living dangerously, he'll start with the peroni. But
- 47:40Speaker 7: it's only a matter of time before he says, can
- 47:43Speaker 7: I just have a bud light?
- 47:45Speaker 4: Yeah, cause I don't start with peroni if I'm living
- 47:47Speaker 4: dangerously to cancel be.
- 47:49Speaker 1: For this, but give me a bud light.
- 47:51Speaker 7: Course, can you just have a course light?
- 47:53Speaker 4: I'll just do a course, thank you.
- 47:59Speaker 1: That's it felt like a vacation.
- 48:01Speaker 7: It's sick. I had a birthday party there once.
- 48:03Speaker 4: Dead Yeah, for I remember that. You were not invited, Yes,
- 48:06Speaker 4: I was. It was right after nine to eleven. It
- 48:09Speaker 4: was me Francis.
- 48:12Speaker 7: Actually after Brooklyn Crab we went to Bounce and on
- 48:17Speaker 7: the Uber there. I got out once we got into Manhattan,
- 48:20Speaker 7: It's like, hey, sorry, guys, I need to go get something.
- 48:22Speaker 7: And I went into a Starbucks and threw up, and
- 48:25Speaker 7: then I came back out and went to Bounce and rallied.
- 48:28Speaker 4: That's amazing because it sounds like you just complete Oh
- 48:31Speaker 4: it was your birthday. Yeah, okay, that makes sense.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Yeah I had to rally. Yeah. You couldn't just leave
- 48:36Speaker 1: them out.
- 48:37Speaker 4: Oh, I was seeing of the club that you were
- 48:38Speaker 4: talking about. That kind of sounds like if you spent
- 48:40Speaker 4: a bounce after them. That just defeats the purpose of
- 48:42Speaker 4: like we're going to go to bed early. It's just
- 48:44Speaker 4: more just drinking.
- 48:45Speaker 7: No, we didn't. It wasn't one of that. Well, it
- 48:47Speaker 7: was a daytime thing because Brooklyn Crab's cool. You actually
- 48:50Speaker 7: would love Brooklyn Crab.
- 48:51Speaker 1: It's like it's all it's like a fisherman's like it
- 48:53Speaker 1: feels like it's at the beach.
- 48:54Speaker 7: Your seagulls swooping overhead. You can take a ferry there.
- 48:57Speaker 4: I like that a lot.
- 48:58Speaker 7: And there's a like corn hole and yeah fucking in
- 49:02Speaker 7: you know, bachi and yeah, shuffle board and outdoor games
- 49:05Speaker 7: and stuff. And then there's really good food and good drinks.
- 49:08Speaker 4: I went to a I went to a uh walk
- 49:11Speaker 4: down by the water this week on Saturday morning.
- 49:14Speaker 1: Holy fuck, dude, what are you no?
- 49:19Speaker 4: I walked down by the water and they were giving
- 49:20Speaker 4: at these free like pre biotic sodas. It's good as hell.
- 49:26Speaker 4: I'd got a great one.
- 49:27Speaker 7: Were they proudly gmo No mm.
- 49:30Speaker 4: Joe, gmo prebiotic though very good for the gut health.
- 49:33Speaker 7: Pre biotic.
- 49:35Speaker 1: It's like a pre biotic or what is it that
- 49:37Speaker 1: is that bubble? What's the name of the pre biotic
- 49:39Speaker 1: soda or it's like Bubbly or some ship like that,
- 49:41Speaker 1: some stupid.
- 49:43Speaker 4: I believe normal Seltzer. These ones are really good, though,
- 49:46Speaker 4: so good that actually went to the storm and bought some.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Holy what you're doing?
- 49:50Speaker 4: Canaday?
- 49:52Speaker 1: Well? You're you're also were on that diet Doctor Pepper.
- 49:54Speaker 1: I had I had one because it looks so fucking
- 49:57Speaker 1: drinking it. Do you ever have one of these? No?
- 50:00Speaker 1: So good? Really so good? They're an elite soda. Wow, okay,
- 50:05Speaker 1: I don't.
- 50:06Speaker 4: Know, better than diet coke, But you can't have them
- 50:08Speaker 4: as consistently as you can drink diet cokes. You can't
- 50:10Speaker 4: put down ten of those in a day like you
- 50:13Speaker 4: do di.
- 50:13Speaker 1: I like a Doctor Pepper the diet. It's the exact same.
- 50:17Speaker 1: It's the only soda where you sacrifice nothing to have
- 50:19Speaker 1: the diet. Oh, it tastes the same, the exact same.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Not all asy and.
- 50:23Speaker 4: Now no no, it's all natural.
- 50:25Speaker 1: No, no, no, no chance. It's a natural sludge.
- 50:29Speaker 4: Doctor Pepper plants.
- 50:30Speaker 1: It's a natural sludge flavor.
- 50:32Speaker 4: Have you ever had a Doctor Pepper bomb?
- 50:35Speaker 1: The shot?
- 50:36Speaker 10: I think?
- 50:36Speaker 4: So good as hell?
- 50:38Speaker 7: What's that?
- 50:39Speaker 1: It's like?
- 50:39Speaker 7: What is it?
- 50:40Speaker 4: It's like whiskey or something. Drop it into bud light.
- 50:43Speaker 7: Dropped into a bud light.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Yeah, that sounds like a boiler or what's that? There's
- 50:47Speaker 1: a name for.
- 50:47Speaker 7: That bear bear fight? Do you ever have a bear fight?
- 50:50Speaker 4: No?
- 50:50Speaker 1: What's that?
- 50:50Speaker 7: Bear fight? Is an Irish car bomb with a Jaeger
- 50:55Speaker 7: bomb following it.
- 50:56Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 50:57Speaker 7: It's just those two back to back.
- 50:59Speaker 1: That's that's nasty for the stomach. I used to do
- 51:02Speaker 1: those in Florida and just ship your brains out.
- 51:05Speaker 7: Yeah, and shake all night and you know, not have
- 51:10Speaker 7: a great time. To be honest with you, I'll.
- 51:12Speaker 1: See tiktoks of guys who are like, eat this pepper.
- 51:15Speaker 1: If you can eat this pepper and not drink this
- 51:17Speaker 1: gallon of milk within the first minute, I'll give you
- 51:19Speaker 1: one hundred bucks. And a guy will just be out
- 51:22Speaker 1: on like a strip of nightclubs, chomp down a pepper,
- 51:25Speaker 1: wait a minute, then chug a gallon of milk to
- 51:27Speaker 1: get his hundred dollars. Like you're ruining your night for
- 51:31Speaker 1: a hundred crazy ye like two drinks. Yeah, that's that's
- 51:36Speaker 1: not enough. That's not a good price for you to
- 51:39Speaker 1: wreak havoc on your asshole.
- 51:41Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, you gotta go right home after that.
- 51:43Speaker 1: I don't think there's anyone that could just withstand that
- 51:45Speaker 1: and be like, oh, yeah, I'm just gonna drink for
- 51:47Speaker 1: the rest of the night, shoot and milk on top
- 51:51Speaker 1: of it. Yeah, that's so fucked. I don't think people
- 51:54Speaker 1: even like have have tough stomachs like that.
- 51:57Speaker 7: No. The one I want to try is the one
- 51:59Speaker 7: where if you can hang from the bar for a minute, a.
- 52:03Speaker 4: Minute or that's a lot harder than people think.
- 52:05Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm sure it is.
- 52:06Speaker 1: You definitely could do that.
- 52:07Speaker 7: Well, there's a technique to it. The problem is the
- 52:09Speaker 7: bar rotates.
- 52:11Speaker 4: Well, the fake ones do, like the like the ones
- 52:13Speaker 4: that you see like a fair.
- 52:16Speaker 1: Right, Well, I don't know. I think there's someones that
- 52:18Speaker 1: where it's just like the military will have it and
- 52:20Speaker 1: they're not trying to fuck you up. Yeah, or doesn't rotate.
- 52:23Speaker 7: Well, I think I mean I could probably just hang
- 52:26Speaker 7: from a stationary pull up bar for a minute.
- 52:29Speaker 1: Yeah, but I think that's hard too. Though. It's harder
- 52:32Speaker 1: than you'd think. Brother, I don't know. I think I
- 52:33Speaker 1: could do it. But what's the strategy for the rotating one?
- 52:37Speaker 7: Well, apparently, you know you want to adjust your hands.
- 52:40Speaker 7: But as soon as you start, you're supposed to be
- 52:42Speaker 7: over the top of it. And as soon as you
- 52:44Speaker 7: start going like that, you're fucked. You have to keep
- 52:47Speaker 7: your hands over the top age.
- 52:49Speaker 1: So it's a big forearm exercise. Dude, your forearmso media
- 52:52Speaker 1: as hell, Dude, they look strong, medium as hell.
- 52:56Speaker 7: I get a well fed arms, well fed snake right there.
- 53:00Speaker 7: That's an anaconda. Yeah, your friends and bows.
- 53:03Speaker 4: In there like just like hooks pretty much.
- 53:08Speaker 1: Yeah, hook them with the amount that we talk about
- 53:10Speaker 1: the gym like we should be. We should have forums
- 53:13Speaker 1: like franccis.
- 53:14Speaker 4: Hell no, we're talking about coach Jim. Yeah, coaches are
- 53:18Speaker 4: never in plane shape.
- 53:19Speaker 1: I listened to the Art of War on books on
- 53:22Speaker 1: tape this this weekend Soon Sun Sun Zoo Sun Zoo. Yeah.
- 53:26Speaker 7: Yeah, I never listened to it or I never read
- 53:28Speaker 7: of you.
- 53:28Speaker 1: It was like it's like a public domain book and
- 53:31Speaker 1: it's like an hour and fifteen minutes. I was like, oh,
- 53:34Speaker 1: these people who are like I would read it. It's
- 53:36Speaker 1: like an hour fifteen minutes. It's a joke. So I
- 53:38Speaker 1: was like, okay, I just want to be able to
- 53:40Speaker 1: say I read a book today and rip through it.
- 53:42Speaker 1: Part of that is like you don't know, you don't
- 53:45Speaker 1: have to know how to You might know how to
- 53:49Speaker 1: take a city, but that doesn't mean you can do it.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Uh huh, Like we know how, we know all the
- 53:54Speaker 1: workout tricks, but we can't we don't have we can't
- 53:56Speaker 1: get our forums. Fucking media. Is that ship?
- 53:59Speaker 7: I see now that it's metaphor. I was gonna have
- 54:01Speaker 7: no idea how to take a city. I wouldn't know
- 54:05Speaker 7: where to begin taking a city. Where do you think
- 54:10Speaker 7: you begin to take a city?
- 54:11Speaker 1: Well, he says, wall cities. Son Zuo's like, bro, don't
- 54:14Speaker 1: do that ship. If the city has walls, that's the
- 54:16Speaker 1: last thing you want to attack. Really, you don't want
- 54:19Speaker 1: to attack a walled city.
- 54:20Speaker 7: Yeah, well then you can only lay siege. Really that's
- 54:23Speaker 7: the best way. Yeah, you're gonna want some catapults, and
- 54:26Speaker 7: you're gonna want to stop the supply of water and
- 54:29Speaker 7: food into this.
- 54:30Speaker 4: That's what I was thinking, to choke them out and
- 54:32Speaker 4: just starve them out. I was singing, shut off the
- 54:34Speaker 4: shut off the power.
- 54:36Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what sun Zoo did. He just snipped the
- 54:39Speaker 1: electric He like, didn't let them watch cable.
- 54:42Speaker 7: As far as I can tell. In more recent times,
- 54:45Speaker 7: the only person who's successfully taking a city was Bane.
- 54:50Speaker 1: And he just got a bunch of prisoners.
- 54:52Speaker 4: Yeah, which I don't really know why they were so
- 54:54Speaker 4: stoked to like work for him.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Who else Kyle Rittenhouse kind of did, yeah, briefly, who else?
- 55:00Speaker 1: Oka City took the entireties.
- 55:02Speaker 7: I guess Russia has taken a few Ukrainian cities, but
- 55:05Speaker 7: they I think they took him back.
- 55:06Speaker 4: They've taken him back. There's been a little bit of
- 55:08Speaker 4: a given. Yeah, definitely a little day return policy on
- 55:16Speaker 4: the cities.
- 55:17Speaker 1: I The only way I can tell is when Sas
- 55:19Speaker 1: puts the Ukraine flag or deletes it from his Twitter profile.
- 55:27Speaker 1: I wish you put up the Ukraine flag at the beginning.
- 55:31Speaker 4: I'm surprised I didn't. That is something that I would do.
- 55:34Speaker 4: There's no idea what's going on.
- 55:37Speaker 7: I saw a guy on the highway driving a convertible
- 55:41Speaker 7: and he had a massive flag coming out of the
- 55:45Speaker 7: back seat of his convertible that just said fuck Putin,
- 55:50Speaker 7: and it was in the Ukraine colors, and he was
- 55:52Speaker 7: smoking one of those ridiculous cigars vapes.
- 55:57Speaker 4: You're seeing the big cigars that are like this thick no,
- 56:02Speaker 4: Now those are funny. Who was the rapper that was
- 56:04Speaker 4: smoking one of those R kelly yas R Kelly? All right, continue,
- 56:07Speaker 4: we can pull up the r Kelly.
- 56:08Speaker 7: Video after No, No, we're onto R Kelly.
- 56:11Speaker 4: It's funny. It's a funny ass video. What are those
- 56:14Speaker 4: big vapes that had when you went Odds, the one
- 56:17Speaker 4: you you blow up cloud of smoke on? Yeah, he was.
- 56:21Speaker 4: He was hitting it every four seconds. Yeah, and it
- 56:24Speaker 4: was like a smoke trail. There was like a vapor
- 56:27Speaker 4: trail his car.
- 56:29Speaker 7: Yeah. Those things are fucking crazy.
- 56:31Speaker 4: Bro.
- 56:32Speaker 1: You know that dude that you know barbershop on Pearl, Yeah,
- 56:36Speaker 1: all the guys who work there. At the beginning of
- 56:39Speaker 1: the Russian Ukraine conflict, like a new guy started working
- 56:42Speaker 1: there and he was saying he like said he was
- 56:44Speaker 1: Ukrainian and he's Russian. Like I found out a lot, dude.
- 56:48Speaker 7: I used to do a bit about this. Really, I
- 56:51Speaker 7: know exactly that barber shop, and I know exactly the
- 56:54Speaker 7: guy you're talking about his tattoos. Yes, he said he
- 56:57Speaker 7: had just come over like three weeks earlier, Yes, Ukraine,
- 57:00Speaker 7: and I had a bit about it for a bit
- 57:02Speaker 7: where I was like, wait, you're you're like twenty four
- 57:05Speaker 7: and you left you cowered, Yeah, like why aren't you
- 57:10Speaker 7: over there fighting?
- 57:11Speaker 1: He's actually Russian and he was just knew he like
- 57:13Speaker 1: wanted a like good tip and was like afraid of
- 57:16Speaker 1: the anti Russian, Like what the fuck? Like I found
- 57:19Speaker 1: out like a couple like.
- 57:20Speaker 7: Dude, that guy cut my hair and pulled the same.
- 57:23Speaker 1: Shit said, and all those guys in there are Russian
- 57:26Speaker 1: and like this just a barbershop.
- 57:29Speaker 7: Wow, stolen valor. It's in our neighborhood.
- 57:32Speaker 1: But they they're all it's all Russian. Then they're great guys.
- 57:34Speaker 1: But they were worried that people were gonna be like,
- 57:36Speaker 1: oh Russian, like fuck that, like Ukraine for life.
