Latest / Twin Cities Territory / Twins crush Tigers, Walker Jenkins homers and Joe Ryan gets closer
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Save some of those runs for the rest of the month, boys.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Holy cow. The Twins crushed the Tigers the last two nights.
- 0:08Speaker 1: 11-1 on Monday. 15-2 on Tuesday. In a couple of
- 0:14Speaker 1: days full of superlatives. It's the first time all year
- 0:17Speaker 1: the Twins have scored 10 runs or more back-to-back. The
- 0:21Speaker 1: Monday win equaled their largest margin of victory in the season.
- 0:23Speaker 1: And then Tuesday surpassed it with a 13-run win. They're
- 0:27Speaker 1: almost single-handedly turning around their season run differential this week. Guys,
- 0:30Speaker 1: three straight wins now for the Twins after they also
- 0:33Speaker 1: won the finale against the White Sox. One more to
- 0:36Speaker 1: go against the Tigers on Thursday. And 4.3 percenters. Hang
- 0:41Speaker 1: in there. These two nights were for you. No matter
- 0:43Speaker 1: what happens from here, clear highlight of the season the
- 0:46Speaker 1: last two nights. Tyler's ready for October baseball. If you're
- 0:51Speaker 1: watching on YouTube, you're noticing that we have a new
- 0:53Speaker 1: bell and whistle singular at the bottom of the screen,
- 0:55Speaker 1: a little ticker. We also have some new graphics that
- 0:58Speaker 1: we're going to show out. I have not had a
- 0:59Speaker 1: chance to practice a lot of this, so bear with me,
- 1:02Speaker 1: but here's our new standings graphic rather than a screenshot
- 1:06Speaker 1: from The Athletic. We have this interactive graphic right here.
- 1:11Speaker 1: You see the Twins three and a half back now
- 1:12Speaker 1: in the wildcard. They gained a half game because Cleveland
- 1:15Speaker 1: was off on Monday. Guardians did win last night over
- 1:19Speaker 1: in the AL Central. Twins picked up some ground on
- 1:23Speaker 1: Chicago also on Monday, but then, uh, White Sox won
- 1:26Speaker 1: last night. So six and a half back still in
- 1:28Speaker 1: the central 67 and 72 overall guys. And in a
- 1:32Speaker 1: couple of games where they absolutely had to have it, uh, they,
- 1:35Speaker 1: they had, they had to respond. They had to win Dan.
- 1:38Speaker 1: They got it done big time.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Plus 27 run differential since, uh, the start of Sunday's game.
- 1:46Speaker 2: That's insane. Uh, you know, You felt like it was
- 1:49Speaker 2: a good win on Sunday against the White Sox just
- 1:52Speaker 2: to get things going because the White Sox are a
- 1:53Speaker 2: good team and they've been playing great and the Twins
- 1:57Speaker 2: have just looked so terrible. I mean, you think about it,
- 1:59Speaker 2: like what that stretch was. You sweep Atlanta and then
- 2:02Speaker 2: you go to San Diego and get swept, lose two
- 2:06Speaker 2: of three in Sacramento, lose two of three to the
- 2:09Speaker 2: White Sox and feel pretty defeated. And they get that
- 2:14Speaker 2: one good win on Sunday just to kind of change
- 2:16Speaker 2: things around and Get some good feelings back. And Walker
- 2:19Speaker 2: Jenkins obviously is there. There's some rookie energy. And now
- 2:23Speaker 2: they're really feeling it. Playing a Detroit team that sort
- 2:28Speaker 2: of looks disinterested, but you face some pretty good pitching
- 2:31Speaker 2: for their two games. But, I mean, like that defense
- 2:34Speaker 2: has just– wow. The defense is wow.
- 2:38Speaker 3: So bad.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Like really, that's all I can say.
- 2:42Speaker 1: We thought we had it bad watching the Twins, but
- 2:44Speaker 1: my goodness, that was some bad defense.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I know, I know.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:50Speaker 2: No, I would love to know what the pride of
- 2:53Speaker 2: San Diego State, number two, you know, I'm the pride
- 2:57Speaker 2: of San Diego State, but what the pride of San
- 2:59Speaker 2: Diego State, Troy Melton, is feeling like after the Dylan
- 3:02Speaker 2: Dingler throw into left field and a couple plays by
- 3:05Speaker 2: Gleyber Torres last night. But, hey, here's the thing. The
- 3:09Speaker 2: Twins needed this. The Twins jumped all over it. I mean,
- 3:13Speaker 2: 15 batters sent to the inning in the sixth inning.
- 3:15Speaker 2: 15 batters sent to the plate in the sixth inning,
- 3:18Speaker 2: 10 runs, just an incredible stretch of taking advantage. Royce
- 3:23Speaker 2: Lewis hit the three run. Ryan Jeffers hit a three run.
- 3:28Speaker 2: It just kept going and going. And all of a
- 3:30Speaker 2: sudden you realize it's been like 30 minutes and the
- 3:33Speaker 2: twins are still batting. So, you know, you look at
- 3:36Speaker 2: this and whatever, you play who you had. Like they
- 3:40Speaker 2: just went through the buzzsaw. Now they get to play
- 3:43Speaker 2: some of the teams that are, in the middle and, and, uh,
- 3:46Speaker 2: they're taking advantage and it's, it's all you can do
- 3:50Speaker 2: at this point because you just got to win. And, um,
- 3:54Speaker 2: you know, when you can win spectacularly, you got to
- 3:57Speaker 2: feel pretty good. If you're a twin, I imagine going
- 3:59Speaker 2: into the clubhouse with a game three ahead, having beaten
- 4:03Speaker 2: Detroit the way they have the last two nights.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:06Speaker 1: That box score is up on the screen. Now, if
- 4:08Speaker 1: you're watching on YouTube and, uh, my goodness, uh, Ryan Jeffers, Tyler,
- 4:13Speaker 1: you joked, there's going to be a drug test coming
- 4:15Speaker 1: his way after the couple, a couple of days he had, but,
- 4:19Speaker 1: but also Tyler, uh, uh, couple, another great starting from, uh,
- 4:23Speaker 1: from Taj Bradley. And then yesterday, the, the, they went
- 4:26Speaker 1: with the opener format with Andrew Morris and Connor Prelip
- 4:29Speaker 1: put up five innings of three hit ball, kind of
- 4:31Speaker 1: lost in the offensive explosion, but great to see that too.
- 4:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:35Speaker 6: And guys are settling in. Um, you know, they're, they're
- 4:38Speaker 6: trying to get Morris a different look. Um, You know,
- 4:41Speaker 6: it's one of those guys you watch him throw and
- 4:43Speaker 6: you try to figure out why he's giving up runs.
- 4:45Speaker 6: You know, I think he's a guy who's just suffering.
- 4:48Speaker 6: He throws everything hard. And sometimes that makes it weirdly
- 4:53Speaker 6: easy for guys to adjust as a hitter. You know,
- 4:56Speaker 6: they don't have to respect that you're going to take
- 4:57Speaker 6: a bunch of velo off. You know, I'm sure they're
- 5:00Speaker 6: exploring all the different avenues to try to get around that.
- 5:03Speaker 4: But Prelip came in, did his job.
- 5:06Speaker 6: You know, it's a weird spot for him, especially– this
- 5:09Speaker 6: year he's been starting and to have to warm up
- 5:12Speaker 6: in the bullpen and, and move around. We've seen that historically,
- 5:16Speaker 6: it's kind of a coin toss, how it's going to go. Um,
- 5:18Speaker 6: you know, and he, he seemed to settle in pretty quickly.
- 5:21Speaker 6: You know, they had some lefties in that lineup for
- 5:22Speaker 6: him and things like that, but you know, to Dan's
- 5:25Speaker 6: point and yours, it was, it was good to see
- 5:28Speaker 6: them have an opportunity and just step on the throttle
- 5:31Speaker 6: and put their foot through the floor and just go because, um,
- 5:34Speaker 6: That's one thing they haven't really done a whole lot of.
- 5:37Speaker 6: There were spurts where they put up 10 or 11 runs,
- 5:40Speaker 6: but to have a moment like that where the lineup
- 5:44Speaker 6: literally almost goes around twice, it's huge for momentum. It's
- 5:48Speaker 6: huge for showing up to the yard this morning for
- 5:50Speaker 6: this day game they got today.
- 5:51Speaker 4: I think it's a day game. No, it's a night game. Oh,
- 5:55Speaker 4: another night game.
- 5:56Speaker 7: Perfect.
- 5:56Speaker 6: Late night, last night, get your feet back on you.
- 6:00Speaker 6: But the vibes are going to be great today. It's
- 6:02Speaker 6: one when you put up runs like that and you
- 6:05Speaker 6: pitch well, and you play good defense, and you watch
- 6:07Speaker 6: the other team scuffle, throwing balls around. That play at
- 6:11Speaker 6: third was eerily similar to the one, I think it
- 6:13Speaker 6: was Sano, a few years back, where we literally had
- 6:16Speaker 6: the same play happen, and it saved us. I think
- 6:18Speaker 6: it was like a one-run game at the time. When
- 6:23Speaker 6: you see the other team scuffle, and you do your job,
- 6:25Speaker 6: and everyone handles their job for that day, it's just
- 6:28Speaker 6: a total team win in every aspect. It's a huge
- 6:32Speaker 6: momentum shift that they need right now.
- 6:33Speaker 4: It's three in a row. show up today.
- 6:35Speaker 6: Detroit's going to be licking their wounds today. It's one,
- 6:40Speaker 6: come out, try and sweep these guys today and just
- 6:42Speaker 6: keep building because you've got to sweep at this point.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Some of these series within your division.
- 6:47Speaker 6: If you want a shot at it and getting the
- 6:50Speaker 6: actual central, you've got to just beat up on these
- 6:52Speaker 6: guys and let them know you're not here just for fun.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Yeah, for these last few days, obviously, It would be
- 6:59Speaker 1: hard to stomach a loss in the third one after
- 7:01Speaker 1: these two routes. And you're right, everything at a premium.
- 7:04Speaker 1: And then, of course, right after this, back against Chicago
- 7:08Speaker 1: on the road this time. Then Cleveland comes in for
- 7:10Speaker 1: a huge one. Then the Yankees, it's like there's just
- 7:12Speaker 1: no letup in the schedule right now. And they need
- 7:15Speaker 1: every win they can get for sure. But Ryan Jeffers,
- 7:19Speaker 1: there were plenty of offensive stars. He may have been
- 7:21Speaker 1: the star of all. Four for seven the last two days.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Three homers. and seven RBIs. It had been a very
- 7:29Speaker 1: rough month for him. I was trying to get the
- 7:31Speaker 1: stats pulled up here, but they're not cooperating. But it
- 7:34Speaker 1: was a huge breakout and certainly something the Twins were
- 7:37Speaker 1: counting on when they opted to hang on to him
- 7:39Speaker 1: at the trade deadline, even with his future in question, Dan.
- 7:44Speaker 2: He had a 617 OPS in August, going into the
- 7:49Speaker 2: last two days of August. His other OPSs for the
- 7:52Speaker 2: season are like 983 the first month, 930 the second month,
- 7:56Speaker 2: And then 893 was his slow month, right, in July.
- 8:00Speaker 2: And he had a 617 in August until Sunday. And
- 8:05Speaker 2: he had, I think, a two-hit day. And he had
- 8:07Speaker 2: a double to right center that really kind of woke
- 8:10Speaker 2: him up. But, I mean, like, you looked at that
- 8:12Speaker 2: White Sox series, and I talked to him about it
- 8:14Speaker 2: last night afterwards. And, you know, he popped up three times.
- 8:17Speaker 2: He struck out a bunch. He grounded out with the
- 8:20Speaker 2: two runners on Friday to end the game, you know,
- 8:23Speaker 2: it was a very rough over six with three pop-ups,
- 8:25Speaker 2: two strikeouts in that ground out. And he had the
- 8:28Speaker 2: pass ball. I mean, it was just not, he did
- 8:31Speaker 2: not look himself and, you know, to come through. I mean,
- 8:34Speaker 2: he changes OPS from six 17 to like seven 30
- 8:37Speaker 2: in two days in August, just by finishing that well.
- 8:42Speaker 2: And really they, they need him to get going. They
- 8:45Speaker 2: need Trevor Larnik to get going. They need Cody Clements
- 8:48Speaker 2: to get going. All those guys had, pretty terrible, like
- 8:51Speaker 2: just not the August that they wanted. I think sub
- 8:55Speaker 2: 700 OPS is in a few cases, sub 600 OPS is,
- 8:59Speaker 2: and you've seen all those guys contributing these last few days. Um,
- 9:04Speaker 2: one reason I think that that is, is partly true
- 9:06Speaker 2: is you have that bottom of the lineup is, is
- 9:09Speaker 2: helping like, like Kalen Culpepper and, and Walker Jenkins down there.
- 9:13Speaker 2: There was a walk that Walker Jenkins, and we'll talk
- 9:15Speaker 2: about him a little bit more later, but there was
- 9:17Speaker 2: a walk he took.
- 9:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Um, yeah. You know, that just kept the inning going.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Turning it over. Yeah, those were some nasty pitches they saw.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Professional.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Yes. And so what you're doing is then you're setting
- 9:34Speaker 2: the table because Luke Kieschel is just incredibly– Nobody look
- 9:39Speaker 2: at him. Don't touch him. You can't stay on fire.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Like it's been three and a half months now for
- 9:46Speaker 2: Luke Kieschel. His on base is over 400– Since basically
- 9:49Speaker 2: May 2, and since he moved to the leadoff spot
- 9:53Speaker 2: 14 games ago, his OPS is over 900. So when
- 9:57Speaker 2: you have Culpepper and James... putting pressure on at the
- 10:01Speaker 2: bottom and then Kieschel's at the top hot, you're setting
- 10:05Speaker 2: up your middle-of-your-order guys very nicely. And Jeffers hit the
- 10:10Speaker 2: three-run homer. I believe that's random stat. I think that's
- 10:13Speaker 2: like only his second-ever or third-ever three-run homer at Target Field. But–
- 10:19Speaker 2: It was a laser. And he said– I talked to
- 10:22Speaker 2: him specifically about his August. He said, my process, even
- 10:26Speaker 2: though I was struggling, my process was good. I liked
- 10:29Speaker 2: what I was doing. I was making good swing decisions.
- 10:32Speaker 2: And then the last couple of days I got away
- 10:33Speaker 2: from that. He said he had just been missing hittable
- 10:36Speaker 2: pitches for most of the month. And then Friday and
- 10:39Speaker 2: Saturday he just felt off. And then we saw it
- 10:42Speaker 2: the last two days. I mean, or the last three
- 10:44Speaker 2: days now. He got a cookie of a slider. just
- 10:48Speaker 2: hanging and hit a 108 last night. And it's critical
- 10:52Speaker 2: because Jeffers is trying to become a free agent. He
- 10:55Speaker 2: needs a free agent drive here. And if he has
- 10:57Speaker 2: a good free agent drive, that means the twins are
- 11:00Speaker 2: going to benefit like just massively. Because if Jeffers can
- 11:05Speaker 2: put up another 980 OPS in September, in your middle
- 11:08Speaker 2: of your order is taking advantage of all these run
- 11:11Speaker 2: guys on base. it's going to be great for him
- 11:13Speaker 2: as a free agent. It's going to be great. They're
- 11:15Speaker 2: going to score a lot of runs. I think he's
- 11:17Speaker 2: the guy that can, everybody else can feed off of
- 11:20Speaker 2: in the middle. Cause he, he has just been really,
- 11:25Speaker 2: he's been money all season. He's been able, capable of
- 11:27Speaker 2: carrying them all season and they need that back again.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Dan, I kind of blacked out while you were talking.
- 11:34Speaker 1: So apologies if you already brought this up, but I
- 11:35Speaker 1: think the, I do that sometimes.
- 11:39Speaker 4: The biggest thing, I.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Do people to sleep. It's how we have, It's how
- 11:42Speaker 2: we keep our viewers. They fall asleep while it's on.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Yeah. It plays till the end.
- 11:48Speaker 1: The biggest swing of the game to me was Royce's Homer.
- 11:51Speaker 1: First of all, he hasn't been playing very well either.
- 11:53Speaker 1: So just crushed that ball and made it seven to
- 11:57Speaker 1: one in that, in that to kind of get that
- 11:59Speaker 1: 10 run six inning going. But it was just, it's
- 12:01Speaker 1: the type of hit Tyler that they have. They just
- 12:04Speaker 1: so often didn't get in August. Like, to either break
- 12:07Speaker 1: a game open or to get back into a game. And,
- 12:10Speaker 1: and there it was finally. And that was sort of
- 12:12Speaker 1: the nail in the coffin.
- 12:14Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 6: And for a guy that needed it, it was, you know,
- 12:17Speaker 6: he Royce, you could tell he knew he got it
- 12:19Speaker 6: right away. He gave it a little pimp and, you know,
- 12:22Speaker 6: it gets the crowd going and, you know, it's just,
- 12:25Speaker 6: it's teammates want their teammates to do well. And it's
- 12:28Speaker 6: one of those things, especially these last two days, it's energy. Just,
- 12:33Speaker 6: it builds on itself. It's, You see one guy do it,
- 12:36Speaker 6: and you see a guy who's maybe been struggling to
- 12:38Speaker 6: get a couple hits or drive a ball out to
- 12:40Speaker 6: dead center, absolutely get a hold of one. It's fun
- 12:45Speaker 6: to see. To Jeffers, it's late in the season. He's
- 12:50Speaker 6: been playing all year. He had the hamate issue.
- 12:54Speaker 4: He came back.
- 12:56Speaker 6: It's one historically. You talk to guys historically. This time
- 12:59Speaker 6: of the year rolls around. You start swinging a lighter bat.
- 13:02Speaker 6: You change some things, not because you feel any different
- 13:05Speaker 6: it's just your body's just worn out and he's been
- 13:08Speaker 6: catching a lot doing things like that and you know
- 13:11Speaker 6: it's he's getting his footing you know in the box
- 13:14Speaker 6: and and that's all you can ever hope for at
- 13:16Speaker 6: this point and you know if Buck's going to be
- 13:18Speaker 6: out long term you need him like Dan said to
- 13:21Speaker 6: be there you need guys like Josh Bell to be
- 13:24Speaker 6: up with runners on base to get some pitches to
- 13:26Speaker 6: hit you know hit his singles and take them you
- 13:28Speaker 6: know he's I think he's leading the team in RBIs
- 13:31Speaker 6: you know, Clemens is getting hot. He hit his Homer
- 13:33Speaker 6: last night. You know, he said a couple of us
- 13:35Speaker 6: a week. It's just, it's, it's fun to see this
- 13:38Speaker 6: is seemingly they're turning back into the team. That was
- 13:41Speaker 6: right before the break where it was, they're making a push.
- 13:45Speaker 6: They were forcing the hands of the front office to
- 13:47Speaker 6: make some moves. And if they can do that with
- 13:50Speaker 6: these pieces we've added, you know, that's the funny thing.
- 13:52Speaker 6: We haven't even needed the bullpen for the last three days, basically.
- 13:56Speaker 6: And it's, it's refreshing, you know, it's, And now when
- 13:59Speaker 6: the time comes, guess what? Those guys are going to
- 14:01Speaker 6: be fresh. They're going to have a little extra on
- 14:03Speaker 6: their heater. They may be a little sharper, whatever you
- 14:06Speaker 6: want to call it. But it's all stuff that builds
- 14:08Speaker 6: on each other. And this moment, you know, we're officially September.
- 14:12Speaker 6: You know, you're playing the teams you want to be beating.
- 14:15Speaker 6: You haven't really seen them all this year, so there's
- 14:17Speaker 6: not a lot of track record. Like, it's why not
- 14:20Speaker 6: us at this point? And just keep your head down.
- 14:23Speaker 3: And go, man.
- 14:24Speaker 6: It's fun to watch baseball like this. everybody's settling in.
- 14:28Speaker 6: Culpepper's doing his thing. He's getting more acclimated. You know,
- 14:31Speaker 6: we'd like, we'd talk about Jenkins is getting long base,
- 14:33Speaker 6: keeping the lineup moving. You know, it's, it's fun baseball.
- 14:37Speaker 6: It's twins baseball at the end of the day, they
- 14:38Speaker 6: got to pitch. Well, they're going to score some runs.
- 14:41Speaker 6: You know, we can't expect 15 a night, but you
- 14:44Speaker 6: can expect that five, six runs a night.
- 14:45Speaker 4: And as long as you give up less than that,
- 14:47Speaker 4: the recipe works.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Oh, I expect 15 a night.
- 14:50Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Now I'm really, but, uh, We've got a lot more
- 14:54Speaker 1: to talk about. Walker Jenkins, Joe Ryan made his AAA start.
- 14:57Speaker 1: All that right after this. In the meantime, please toss
- 15:00Speaker 1: us a like or subscribe, however you watch or listen.
- 15:03Speaker 1: We really appreciate you following along, and we'll be right back.
- 15:08Speaker 5: Kratz, I think what people are seeing on the screen
- 15:09Speaker 5: and what we'll explain to the podcast audio crowd right
- 15:12Speaker 5: now is how I'm a little summer action with Fabletics,
- 15:15Speaker 5: and then you take us into fall and a little
- 15:17Speaker 5: more layering.
- 15:19Speaker 8: And here in the East, I'm still going to go
- 15:21Speaker 8: to the shore in the fall. I love the shore
- 15:23Speaker 8: in September. You come in from the beach, you throw
- 15:26Speaker 8: on a sweatshirt like this. It's light, it's breathable, but
- 15:29Speaker 8: you know what? It is so comfortable.
- 15:31Speaker 5: Yeah, and for me, I love working out, but also
- 15:34Speaker 5: I'm getting more into tennis, paddle, a little bit of pickleball,
- 15:38Speaker 5: all that. I want lightweight, breathable, comfortable, and affordable. Let's
- 15:43Speaker 5: talk about that. The discounts for Fabletics are massive when

- 16:06Speaker 5: off everything as a new VIP.
- 16:11Speaker 1: As bad as August was, the Twins now positive run
- 16:15Speaker 1: differential since August 5th somehow. after the last three games.
- 16:21Speaker 1: A lot of close losses in that stretch, for sure.
- 16:24Speaker 1: But it speaks to both just how remarkable those games
- 16:28Speaker 1: were for everybody. And also, I guess, the circumstances a
- 16:32Speaker 1: little bit. We haven't talked about Walker Jenkins' first Major
- 16:34Speaker 1: League home run yet.
- 16:38Speaker 2: It was great.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Off of a position.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Player in the 9th. No, not the 9th, obviously.
- 16:44Speaker 3: The 8th?
- 16:44Speaker 1: It was late in that game.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Yeah, 8th.
- 16:46Speaker 1: 8th, yeah. on uh on monday night it was mckinstry
- 16:51Speaker 1: that's right not kool-aid uh zach i should know that
- 16:55Speaker 1: um he had some hilarious comments after the game dan
- 16:59Speaker 1: obviously like first major league home run cool no matter
- 17:02Speaker 1: what but he was in a situation where uh he
- 17:04Speaker 1: was worried about not striking out against a position player
- 17:07Speaker 1: more than he was worried about hitting.
- 17:08Speaker 4: That home run.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I'm just glad that he's already alleviated the concerns that
- 17:14Speaker 2: he might not be able to handle velocity. I mean,
- 17:17Speaker 2: you know, take 37 miles per hour. Like the fact
- 17:24Speaker 2: that he was, you know, having to face that and
- 17:28Speaker 2: you could tell in the moment that it was just
- 17:30Speaker 2: hilarious because he knows what's up and he's in the
- 17:33Speaker 2: on deck circle and he's most guys when they're on the,
- 17:37Speaker 2: in the on deck circle, they are not looking over
- 17:39Speaker 2: at the dugout. They're focused on the pitcher. They're, they're
- 17:42Speaker 2: dialed in trying to get timing down. And he's like
- 17:45Speaker 2: looking over and Derek Shelton's there and he's talking to
- 17:49Speaker 2: guys and you just don't see that very often. And
- 17:52Speaker 2: he said, Shelton said, if it gets three, I would
- 17:53Speaker 2: do not swing. So he got a strike early on
- 17:57Speaker 2: and he knew he wasn't, but his response was so hilarious.
- 18:00Speaker 2: And I know we're gonna play the video in a second,
- 18:01Speaker 2: so I won't, I won't waste it. But he, he,
- 18:05Speaker 2: he managed to lock in. He was taking very similar
- 18:08Speaker 2: uppercut swings in, batting practice earlier and just pelting the
- 18:12Speaker 2: upper deck and in right field. So like it seemed
- 18:16Speaker 2: like he, he can get under a ball like that. And,
- 18:19Speaker 2: and it sure just, it doesn't matter. It does not
- 18:22Speaker 2: matter that it was a position player. People are going
- 18:25Speaker 2: to remember that and say it, it does because like
- 18:29Speaker 2: if this guy hits 250 home runs in his career,
- 18:31Speaker 2: if he has a great career, like everyone hopes he does,
- 18:35Speaker 2: Nobody's going to remember the first one. It's just one
- 18:38Speaker 2: amongst many because he did what he was supposed to
- 18:40Speaker 2: and got the first one out of the way. He
- 18:43Speaker 2: doesn't have to go to bed now. He gets all
- 18:46Speaker 2: these firsts out of the way. He said it. I
- 18:48Speaker 2: asked him afterward. I was like, what was key for
- 18:50Speaker 2: you in slowing down the game? He said he thought
- 18:53Speaker 2: that the very first moment, which was a fly ball
- 18:57Speaker 2: out to him on Friday night, the very first batter,
- 19:01Speaker 2: I think Antonacci, I can't remember, But Antonacci flew out
- 19:05Speaker 2: to him, and the very first play, he got the ball.
- 19:07Speaker 2: It found him, and it allowed him to go, okay,
- 19:10Speaker 2: and start breathing. And I think that's been evident since
- 19:13Speaker 2: we've seen him all this time is that he is
- 19:16Speaker 2: not making too much of things. He's slowed down, and
- 19:21Speaker 2: he has definitely enjoyed, like, been able to be himself.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Three pitches he saw on that at-bat, three fastballs, all blazing. 40, 38, 37.
- 19:35Speaker 1: McKinstry losing the velocity really early on in the start.
- 19:38Speaker 2: I'm a little worried about that.
- 19:39Speaker 6: He was hitting the step-back jumper, too. He's lobbing and
- 19:42Speaker 6: running backwards in case they hit the line.
- 19:44Speaker 4: Drive at his head. Nice awareness by him. Yeah, it's
- 19:49Speaker 4: like I.
- 19:50Speaker 1: I get that you're not going to maybe celebrate it
- 19:52Speaker 1: as much as if you hit it off of an
- 19:53Speaker 1: actual pitcher, but would you rather he ground out or
- 19:58Speaker 1: like hit a loopy single or right? Like, you know,
- 20:00Speaker 1: he did what you're supposed to do. You don't hit
- 20:02Speaker 1: a home run.
- 20:02Speaker 4: The lose lose there.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Anyway, here are, here's Walker Jenkins and his comments after
- 20:09Speaker 1: that home run.
- 20:09Speaker 3: 37 miles an hour.
- 20:12Speaker 7: Dude, don't strike out. That's kind of what we got.
- 20:15Speaker 7: I was like, I was fooling and fouled one off.
- 20:17Speaker 3: I was like, oh, no. It's like, let's just try
- 20:19Speaker 3: to put something in play. I mean, is that kind
- 20:21Speaker 3: of a nervous thing?
- 20:22Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 20:22Speaker 3: I was more nervous for that than my normal pass,
- 20:24Speaker 3: without a doubt.
- 20:25Speaker 7: But I legit had coaches tell me, if you face
- 20:27Speaker 7: a guy like that, try to get off the foul pole.
- 20:29Speaker 3: So it worked out. Is there some.
- 20:31Speaker 7: Relief getting off the foul pole so it's easy to
- 20:33Speaker 7: get back and have some momentum? I mean, it's honestly
- 20:36Speaker 7: kind of a joke. Like, it was one of those things.
- 20:38Speaker 7: That is not how I expected the first one to go.
- 20:40Speaker 7: It's an absolute blessing. But it's one of those things,
- 20:43Speaker 7: you know, boys already give me a hard time about it,
- 20:45Speaker 7: so it was awesome.
- 20:47Speaker 9: Were you having a conversation with the guys in the
- 20:48Speaker 9: dugout from the on-deck circle? It looked like you were, like,
- 20:51Speaker 9: talking a little bit, trying to just mentally gear up
- 20:53Speaker 9: for it or whatever. Well, first thing was, as Shelty goes,
- 20:57Speaker 9: if you get to 3-0, don't swing. I was like,
- 20:58Speaker 9: all right, I won't swing.
- 21:00Speaker 7: And then I already got a strike, so I was like,
- 21:02Speaker 7: I don't have to worry about that, so we'll just
- 21:03Speaker 7: go up there and hack.
- 21:04Speaker 3: That's it. Looked like you were laughing on the way
- 21:06Speaker 3: out to the field when you got the ovation. Was
- 21:08Speaker 3: that kind of a, what's that?
- 21:09Speaker 4: What's that moment?
- 21:10Speaker 3: It was awesome, but I was getting cracked up.
- 21:12Speaker 7: It's like people give me an ovation for hitting home
- 21:14Speaker 7: run off a position player.
- 21:15Speaker 3: It was, it was great, but I was just enjoying
- 21:17Speaker 3: the moment. To be part of a win like this.
- 21:20Speaker 9: I mean, this is a needed win and you guys
- 21:22Speaker 9: kind of get some good feelings in a way that
- 21:25Speaker 9: we're really needed.
- 21:25Speaker 3: I mean, I, I think that's, I would think that's
- 21:27Speaker 3: pretty sweet too. It's awesome, man.
- 21:29Speaker 7: Winning is so much more fun than losing and, That's
- 21:32Speaker 7: what I've always said. Being on a group like this
- 21:35Speaker 7: that wants to go out and win every day, gosh,
- 21:37Speaker 7: it makes playing baseball a lot of fun.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Winning is so much more fun than losing.
- 21:43Speaker 4: Agreed with that for sure.
- 21:44Speaker 3: But also, great T-shirt.
- 21:47Speaker 4: Hungry, why wait?
- 21:48Speaker 2: Scriptures?
- 21:49Speaker 4: That's fantastic.
- 21:52Speaker 1: No, it was just a great reaction. Obviously happy, but
- 21:56Speaker 1: also seemed to– be cognizant of the fact that he's
- 21:59Speaker 1: a human.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Yeah, dude, you.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Can't, I mean, that was in, that was in multiple headlines. Dude,
- 22:06Speaker 2: don't strike out is such a great reaction. Like that's hilarious. Yup.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Uh, in other news, uh, in other good news, I
- 22:16Speaker 1: guess we had an episode all about bad news last time, but, uh,
- 22:19Speaker 1: this time Joe Ryan made a rehab start with triple
- 22:23Speaker 1: a St. Paul also last night, Tuesday night, uh, and
- 22:27Speaker 1: he looked pretty good, Tyler.
- 22:28Speaker 6: Yeah, he got, I mean, what was it, four innings,
- 22:33Speaker 6: three innings, he gave up a solo shot, which as
- 22:36Speaker 6: someone who played in Omaha, that's not easy, or sorry,
- 22:40Speaker 6: not hard to do. Balls kind of make their way
- 22:43Speaker 6: out regularly there, so, you know, to go and get
- 22:46Speaker 6: his feet under him, get some pitches out, get some
- 22:49Speaker 6: up-downs in, you know, obviously I haven't heard yet, I'm
- 22:52Speaker 6: not that tapped in, but, you know, seemingly no issues there,
- 22:55Speaker 6: like It looks like he's ready to go. From the
- 22:58Speaker 6: short clip, the one I saw, breaking stuff looks good.
- 23:01Speaker 6: Guys are swinging and missing. All the things we want
- 23:04Speaker 6: to see from Joe.
- 23:05Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 23:06Speaker 6: I think sometimes velocity gets read into in those outings,
- 23:10Speaker 6: but you're pitching in AAA in Omaha. You're not in
- 23:14Speaker 6: target field against a division foe. I think that'll all
- 23:19Speaker 6: tick up naturally without having to change anything, but Yeah,
- 23:23Speaker 6: seeing him go out for three, like we said the
- 23:25Speaker 6: other day, it's not an arm thing. It's just making
- 23:27Speaker 6: sure that back and hip feels right when he's on
- 23:30Speaker 6: the mound. And as long as that's there, I think
- 23:33Speaker 6: he's ready to hit the ground running. And it looks
- 23:35Speaker 6: like we're off to a good start. Yeah, I was
- 23:38Speaker 6: going to ask you about the velo. averaged 91.4 with
- 23:42Speaker 6: the fastball a little down but not not something to
- 23:45Speaker 6: be worried about you don't think tyler i i wouldn't
- 23:48Speaker 6: especially can you know who knows what travel was like
- 23:51Speaker 6: things like that you know and joe's such a as
- 23:53Speaker 6: we talked about a cerebral guy and you know so
- 23:56Speaker 6: aware of things and you know whether he was like
- 23:58Speaker 6: full throttle or not i would imagine he wasn't um
- 24:02Speaker 6: yeah so you know He was in there to paint,
- 24:05Speaker 6: get his hand feel. Because we can't forget, he was
- 24:08Speaker 6: battling mechanical stuff. So he's probably more concerned with how
- 24:12Speaker 6: it feels coming out of his hand and what pitches
- 24:14Speaker 6: are doing shape-wise than he is how hard he's throwing
- 24:17Speaker 6: right now.
- 24:18Speaker 4: The adrenaline of the big league ballpark.
- 24:20Speaker 6: Has this incredible power to just make you better at
- 24:24Speaker 6: everything at times. And this is a perfect example of it.
- 24:28Speaker 6: I don't think it's anything to worry about. And even
- 24:31Speaker 6: if it is a tick down for his first outing,
- 24:34Speaker 6: if that means he's spotting up with everything, who cares?
- 24:37Speaker 6: You know, we've watched Bailey pitch all year doing what
- 24:38Speaker 6: he's doing. It's, it can be done.
- 24:41Speaker 4: And, and Joe of all people, I think is very
- 24:43Speaker 4: capable of doing it. Danny, you agree?
- 24:47Speaker 2: Yeah. 92, six was the top below. Joe is one
- 24:52Speaker 2: of those guys that the situation will dictate what he
- 24:56Speaker 2: is doing. Like if he's in, Chicago next if he's
- 25:00Speaker 2: in Detroit next there will be 94s instead of 92
- 25:03Speaker 2: sixes I totally agree I think he treated it like
- 25:08Speaker 2: I need to get out there and see what hitters
- 25:09Speaker 2: are doing and how they're looking at my pitches and
- 25:12Speaker 2: knowing that he can get like it was just getting
- 25:16Speaker 2: those looks and and going through it and building up
- 25:19Speaker 2: and So I don't know if it'll be four and
- 25:22Speaker 2: 60 pitches next time. Uh, it was three and 42
- 25:27Speaker 2: last night, uh, four strikeouts, but I mean, could that
- 25:31Speaker 2: be in the majors? I don't know, but obviously they're
- 25:33Speaker 2: looking to slow down Connor prelips innings total. Uh, he
- 25:38Speaker 2: was at one 22 going into last night, one 22
- 25:41Speaker 2: and two thirds pitch five innings last night. And everything
- 25:46Speaker 2: from Connor prelip was, was clean. Um, His velocities were
- 25:49Speaker 2: all up last night, but you have to think that
- 25:53Speaker 2: Joe Ryan figures into the plans of helping Prelip either
- 25:59Speaker 2: maybe just step out of the rotation altogether, or maybe
- 26:01Speaker 2: they go to a six man. Because I think with
- 26:05Speaker 2: extra pitching now, you probably could take Joe back at
- 26:08Speaker 2: four innings and throw him in there. I don't know.
- 26:12Speaker 2: It really depends on how quickly they want him back
- 26:15Speaker 2: in there, but this was a great step and now
- 26:19Speaker 2: the key is how he responds today on a Wednesday and,
- 26:23Speaker 2: and like how the body feels. But I imagine he's
- 26:26Speaker 2: in a good spot, both mentally and physically.
- 26:31Speaker 1: We, uh, we got Walker Jenkins called up, stop the
- 26:35Speaker 1: clamoring for that. Uh, but now there's another one prospect.
- 26:38Speaker 3: On the farm.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Send him down. We got another guy who.
- 26:42Speaker 1: To be fair, had been clamored for plenty before as well.
- 26:44Speaker 1: But Emmanuel Rodriguez also in last night's game, uh, Sort
- 26:49Speaker 1: of stole the spotlight from Joe Ryan by hitting for
- 26:51Speaker 1: the cycle in order. Just a nice little, like if
- 26:56Speaker 1: you're going to do it, that's the nice style.
- 26:57Speaker 4: A natural cycle.
- 26:58Speaker 1: A natural cycle, exactly. Pretty impressive stuff, Tyler. I mean,
- 27:04Speaker 1: do we got to make room for him too?
- 27:06Speaker 4: I mean, the roster's expanded.
- 27:08Speaker 6: I know they already made some moves, but I don't foresee, again,
- 27:13Speaker 6: it's like you're calling up a guy just to call
- 27:15Speaker 6: him up.
- 27:16Speaker 4: It's one of those....
- 27:18Speaker 6: He's probably a guy, much like Walker, that they want
- 27:20Speaker 6: to see play when he's up there, not sit on
- 27:22Speaker 6: the bench for a month, keep getting at bats, things
- 27:26Speaker 6: like that. But anytime you do something like hit for
- 27:28Speaker 6: the cycle, that doesn't really matter where you're at. There's
- 27:31Speaker 6: only been so many of those ever, and it's a
- 27:35Speaker 6: cool feat, accomplishment. It's exciting for everybody, and it's exciting
- 27:40Speaker 6: for fans. We've joked about covering these guys better.
- 27:44Speaker 4: On the show.
- 27:44Speaker 6: And this is a perfect example of stuff that happens
- 27:46Speaker 6: that obviously in AAA, you know, everyone's very aware of
- 27:48Speaker 6: who's there and it's so close in town, but you know,
- 27:52Speaker 6: it's cool stuff happens a lot of times in minor
- 27:54Speaker 6: leagues and it kind of just goes under the radar.
- 27:55Speaker 4: And, um, you know, it's, it's a pretty cool moment.
- 27:58Speaker 6: It's, you know, I'm sure you'll keep a ball or something,
- 28:00Speaker 6: you know, uh, it's like throwing, I think my first
- 28:03Speaker 6: out and we had like a no hitter, but still
- 28:05Speaker 6: gave up two runs in Cedar Rapids.
- 28:07Speaker 4: So it's like, it's a cool moment, you know, but, um, yeah,
- 28:10Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 28:12Speaker 6: If there's a spot for him, I guess we'll see
- 28:13Speaker 6: him soon, but maybe he'll hit it for another one
- 28:16Speaker 6: and force their hand.
- 28:19Speaker 2: He returned from a thumb injury, which cost him basically
- 28:23Speaker 2: months on, let's see, it was July 28th. He played
- 28:29Speaker 2: about 10 games between Fort Myers and Cedar Rapids. It's
- 28:32Speaker 2: funny because he injured the thumb, and he was about
- 28:35Speaker 2: to come up to the major leagues at that point.
- 28:37Speaker 2: It was back in April or May. He was on
- 28:40Speaker 2: the cusp. But basically he got to St. Paul on
- 28:44Speaker 2: August 11th, and in 16 games between August 11th and
- 28:49Speaker 2: last night, he's hitting 310, 437, 655, five homers, 12 RBIs.
- 28:55Speaker 2: The power is there. He's out of options. It's an
- 28:57Speaker 2: interesting case because next year he just has to be
- 29:00Speaker 2: on a major league roster. Otherwise he's exposed. So you
- 29:05Speaker 2: would think this is a guy they'd like to see,
- 29:08Speaker 2: but you don't know where you play him. Cause Luke
- 29:11Speaker 2: Kieschel is not coming out of the lineup and Walker
- 29:14Speaker 2: Jenkins is not coming out of the lineup and Josh
- 29:16Speaker 2: Bell is not coming out of the lineup. And Trevor
- 29:17Speaker 2: Larnik is back to hitting again. Um, like you, you're
- 29:21Speaker 2: looking at that and it's going like, and, and what
- 29:24Speaker 2: if Byron Buxton does get healthy and comes back? Like
- 29:27Speaker 2: there's just not, it's, it's a spot where they don't.
- 29:29Speaker 4: Have at bats.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Um, so I don't know how they make room, but
- 29:33Speaker 2: he has to be pissed. Like he was, he was ready.
- 29:37Speaker 2: He's this guy is like, it's.
- 29:39Speaker 4: It's good luck in timing talk to him it is
- 29:41Speaker 4: good luck.
- 29:41Speaker 2: In time like yeah your entire career can come down
- 29:45Speaker 2: to that kind of stuff and it's crazy because and
- 29:48Speaker 2: like he looks and sounds the part and spring training
- 29:51Speaker 2: he sounded like he was ready he wanted the media
- 29:54Speaker 2: he liked it um i talked to him i did
- 29:57Speaker 2: a story in spring training on gabby gonzalez walker jenkins
- 29:59Speaker 2: and And Emmanuel Rodriguez. And, like, what if they played together?
- 30:03Speaker 2: It almost could have happened this year. But Rodriguez, you know,
- 30:07Speaker 2: the thumb injury really cost him. It's good to see
- 30:10Speaker 2: him doing what he's doing right now. And it's going
- 30:12Speaker 2: to be interesting to see what they do with him,
- 30:15Speaker 2: with Larnik, with Matt Walner in the offseason. There's so
- 30:19Speaker 2: many decisions to make. The outfield is getting very crowded. Yeah.
- 30:25Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 30:25Speaker 2: It's getting very crowded in the outfield.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Well, we'll have a lot of time to address off-season
- 30:31Speaker 1: questions at some point, although the Twins continue to stay
- 30:35Speaker 1: kicking in this wildcard race. Yeah, we're hoping for November.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Up next is the series finale tonight against the Tigers.
- 30:42Speaker 1: It's Dean Kramer against Drew Anderson for Detroit, a righty
- 30:46Speaker 1: with a 3-8-7 ERA. Twins have done just fine with
- 30:51Speaker 1: the Tigers pitching in the past two games, Tyler, and
- 30:54Speaker 1: certainly this is not a Not a must-win in the
- 30:58Speaker 1: literal sense, but with Chicago, Cleveland, and the Yankees lurking
- 31:02Speaker 1: in the next three series and the good vibes from the.
- 31:04Speaker 2: First two games of this one. There's a Detroit in there, too.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Sorry, lurking in the next four series, I meant to say. Yes,
- 31:10Speaker 1: at Detroit after Chicago. Certainly, you want to get this
- 31:14Speaker 1: one with all the vibes from the last two days.
- 31:17Speaker 4: Yeah, and I think it's one.
- 31:19Speaker 6: This is a game that has the potential to be
- 31:21Speaker 6: over early for the Twins.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Show up.
- 31:25Speaker 4: Knock them in the mouth.
- 31:27Speaker 6: Early and just put this game on ice from the get-go.
- 31:31Speaker 4: I think that can be done.
- 31:32Speaker 6: You got Kramer going, who's, you know, he's going to
- 31:35Speaker 6: settle back down and do his thing. And, you know,
- 31:38Speaker 6: we have all the fresh arms in the bullpen ready
- 31:40Speaker 6: to go. You know, some of them probably want to
- 31:42Speaker 6: get in the game, period, regardless of the game today.
- 31:45Speaker 6: And so it's a great opportunity for a sweep. The
- 31:48Speaker 6: stars have kind of aligned for it to work out
- 31:50Speaker 6: well for them. You know, just come out swinging. I
- 31:53Speaker 6: think that's the biggest thing today. Like, Stick with the plans.
- 31:56Speaker 6: At times, they've really picked apart some of these starters,
- 32:00Speaker 6: and I'm sure they've got a great plan against him
- 32:02Speaker 6: being a division foe. They've probably faced all these guys.
- 32:06Speaker 6: And that's the cool thing. These young guys who've been
- 32:08Speaker 6: in St. Paul have faced Toledo probably a couple times
- 32:11Speaker 6: this year. Regardless of if these guys have been up
- 32:13Speaker 6: or down, back and forth, they've seen all these arms.
- 32:16Speaker 6: And so there's a lot of familiarity, a lot of
- 32:19Speaker 6: opportunities for guys to get comfortable and get some good
- 32:23Speaker 6: swings off.
- 32:24Speaker 4: Show up early.
- 32:25Speaker 6: Put up some runs early, keep that throttle down like
- 32:27Speaker 6: you have been, and put this one away early and.
- 32:30Speaker 4: Move on to the next.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Dean Kramer coming off his worst start as a twin
- 32:35Speaker 1: so far. Gave up seven hits and five runs in
- 32:38Speaker 1: a loss to the White Sox last Friday. All I'll
- 32:43Speaker 1: say is it'll sure be helpful if Detroit can continue
- 32:46Speaker 1: to not throw or catch the ball properly.
- 32:48Speaker 4: That's been nice to see.
- 32:51Speaker 2: The twins are 7-2 against Detroit so far this year.
- 32:54Speaker 2: And now the run differential has been very much changed
- 32:58Speaker 2: by this one because there was that June series where
- 33:03Speaker 2: the Twins, I think they lost two of three in Detroit,
- 33:06Speaker 2: and Zebby got hit pretty good, and I think Taj
- 33:10Speaker 2: got hit pretty good. But the Twins have won seven
- 33:12Speaker 2: of nine.
- 33:13Speaker 4: Taj had the control stuff.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Yeah, but Detroit just seems– he did. By the way,
- 33:20Speaker 2: we didn't mention him, and he was fantastic there tonight,
- 33:23Speaker 2: by the way. Like that's two really good ones in
- 33:26Speaker 2: a row. And you can tell he's feeling it. We
- 33:29Speaker 2: talked to him for the first time in a long time. Um,
- 33:31Speaker 2: post start.
- 33:33Speaker 4: Oh, he spoke definitely feel.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Yeah. He's feeling it. And he's, uh, like you can
- 33:38Speaker 2: tell he's getting in a good rhythm and that's, that
- 33:41Speaker 2: timing is good, but yeah, like the tiger seemed disinterested. Um, like, and,
- 33:46Speaker 2: and some of their young guys who were just on
- 33:48Speaker 2: fire earlier in the season, McGonigal was like impossible for
- 33:52Speaker 2: teams to get out. And he's, at least come back
- 33:54Speaker 2: to earth. And Dylan Dingler had an incredible first half.
- 33:58Speaker 2: And we saw the error, but he's not hitting the
- 34:02Speaker 2: ball the same way. It does seem like they are
- 34:05Speaker 2: susceptible because the middle of that order early in the
- 34:07Speaker 2: year was so nasty with Riley Green. They had some
- 34:12Speaker 2: extended lineup. They just gave pitchers fits. But if you're
- 34:18Speaker 2: the twins, you just got to take advantage of a
- 34:19Speaker 2: team when they're down right now. If you sweep them here,
- 34:22Speaker 2: you put a real– dark thought in Detroit Ted next
- 34:25Speaker 2: week when they're home too, uh, because they're clearly, I
- 34:29Speaker 2: think they've lost 15 of 18 and, and they're not
- 34:32Speaker 2: doing well since scuba got traded.
- 34:35Speaker 1: But they were at first, which was the wild part.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Right. Right. Right.
- 34:38Speaker 1: After the deadline, they surged, they were at 500 or,
- 34:41Speaker 1: or right there. And yeah, they were, yeah, they were.
- 34:43Speaker 4: Six, the coffee machine. Yeah.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Two or three from Cleveland at home were 60 and 61.
- 34:48Speaker 1: And now, you know, a few weeks later, they're three
- 34:52Speaker 1: and 14 since then. So, catching them while they're down
- 34:56Speaker 1: and hoping to keep them that way for their own sake,
- 34:58Speaker 1: for sure.
- 34:59Speaker 4: We'll see how it goes.
- 35:01Speaker 1: We will be back with you tomorrow to wrap up
- 35:04Speaker 1: the Tiger Series, tee up another big weekend against Chicago. Thanks, everybody,
