- 2:22Ladies and gentlemen, it's been a crazy, crazy week.
- 2:25We have some snow going on 70° last week it was 7080, almost
- 2:2980° last week. And then all of a sudden it
- 2:32transforms into 38 to 4042. And that's a big problem right
- 2:37now here in New York and hopefully it starts to change.
- 2:41And I, I will say this for all the fans out there that have not
- 2:45been to New York or have been to other states like California,
- 2:49Miami or even Washington, DC right now it is like 80° right
- 2:55now, 880° in Miami with I think it was 82 today, California
- 3:00today it was like about 81. And in Washington it was pretty
- 3:04hot today too. I think it was in its seventies,
- 3:067475 S The weather is completely different than it is here in New
- 3:12York. So hopefully the transition is
- 3:14more better, cooler. And listen, I, I, I'm not a
- 3:19summer guy. I stay away from the summer And
- 3:22I, the whole thing with the summer is, is, is it's just, it
- 3:25makes me sweat. I don't like the hot, I don't
- 3:27like the heat. I like the, the opportunity to
- 3:30go out there and skate or run or, you know, jog or enjoy the
- 3:35weather. But it gets too hot out here.
- 3:38Once it hits the 80s, it's humid.
- 3:40It's disgusting and I just don't like the weather.
- 3:42So hopefully it doesn't get that bad this year.
- 3:46On Tuesday, the Heat beat the lowly Wizards 115 and 129, which
- 3:51is normally not news at all. Except that night, Heat center
- 3:56Bam out of Bio scored an absolutely ridiculous 83 point
- 4:00game, passing Kobe Bryant for second most in a single game in
- 4:05NBA history, trailing only Will Chamberlain's hundred points.
- 4:08Way back in 1962, Bam got 31 points in the first quarter
- 4:13alone. Good the HEAT record and six
- 4:16most points ever in the quarter. He broke the Miami Heat
- 4:20franchise record for most points in a game.
- 4:23Bam got 31 points in the first quarter alone, good for the Heat
- 4:27record, and six most points ever in 1/4.
- 4:30He broke Miami Heat franchise record for most points in a game
- 4:34in the third quarter when he reached 62 points, beating
- 4:37LeBron James's record 61 set back in 2014.
- 4:41Bam also set the NBA record for most free throws made in a game,
- 4:45making 36 out of 43 free throws, surpassing the record of 28,
- 4:51tied with Adrian Dantley in 1984 and Will Chamberlain during his
- 4:56100 point game in 1962. Bam is the lowest scorer as far
- 5:00as points per game among any players who scored 70 in a game,
- 5:05scoring just 16.1 points per game in his career.
- 5:10Bam's previous career high in a game was 41, a record he had
- 5:15broken by halftime of this game. With his 83 point game, Bam
- 5:21raised scoring average for the season from 18.9 points per game
- 5:26to 20 points per game. Several former players and
- 5:30analysts were critical of the performance, however, as the
- 5:34Heat began potentially fouling up over 20 points simply to stop
- 5:39the clock and get the ball back for Bam to break Kobe's 81 point
- 5:45record. Seven time NBA champion Robert
- 5:48Ory said the Heat slate game antics disrespected the game
- 5:52while analyst Jason Whitlock said it was embarrassed and
- 5:57compare it to the baseball steroid era in terms of being
- 6:01tainted. 76ers forward Kelly Oberry Junior said that a beat
- 6:0570 point game was more impressive because the efficient
- 6:08shooting, criticizing Bams 46.5% shooting percentage in the game
- 6:14and foul baiting. Bam Anabayo scored 83 points in
- 6:18an NBA game. It is a different game now.
- 6:21The NBA is different. Scoring is different.
- 6:26It changed in the early 2000s and the hand checking.
- 6:31The NBA was different when Wilt Chamberlain played and when Kobe
- 6:34scored his 81 points. Kobe was, it was a different
- 6:41game of basketball too. It was in the early 2000s.
- 6:44It was the change. The offense was changed.
- 6:46The point scoring was completely different.
- 6:48I I thought it was more impressive what Kobe Bryant did,
- 6:53but you can't take away what Bam out of Bayou did.
- 6:58And Bam is one of the better offensive centers in the league
- 7:02right now. Yeah, he's averaging 16 points.
- 7:04And obviously he's not Giannis or he's not Nicola Yokich, but
- 7:09he gives a different style of offense to the ball.
- 7:12He's he's a good rebounder. When he was picked to play for
- 7:15Team USA, he was picked because of his rebounding skills and his
- 7:19defense. He was not picked because of his
- 7:21offense, but Bam has changed the game.
- 7:27You could say whatever you want and anybody can come out here,
- 7:30Robert or he could say it was embarrassing and and all these
- 7:34different guys that have gone out.
- 7:35They asked Giannis. Giannis thought it was very
- 7:37impressive. But the fact here is as the game
- 7:44moves forward, you're going to see games like this because the
- 7:47NBA is different now. It's more open, there's more
- 7:51offense, These centers can shoot threes.
- 7:55The fact what the Wizards were doing and fouling him and making
- 7:58a go to the free throw line and he had 3636 free throws.
- 8:02And I know everybody's going to say, well, it it's not easy to
- 8:05hit free throws. Go ask Mitchell Robertson, hack
- 8:08a Mitch, go ask Shaquille, O'Neal all guys that were
- 8:11centers. Now, Bamela Bio is not 7 foot 17
- 8:15foot 2, but he's six 10611. He's a big man and he can shoot
- 8:20free throws. Are you going to blame him
- 8:24because he can hit 35 out of 43 free throws or 42 free throws?
- 8:29No, you're not going to blame him.
- 8:32He's a good free throw shooter. If people want to hack him, he's
- 8:35going to go to a line, he's going to shoot him.
- 8:39The fact here is if you're if you're not a Miami Heat fan or
- 8:42you're not a Bam out of Biofan, you can have something to say
- 8:44about it. And you wouldn't expect Bam out
- 8:47of bio be the one, the big man that's going to score 83 points.
- 8:51You would have thought Nicola Yokich, Joel Embiid, who scored
- 8:5370 points a little while ago, you would expect that from those
- 8:57guys. You wouldn't expect it from Bam
- 8:58out of Bio. But this is the Washington
- 9:01Wizards. The Washington Wizards are not a
- 9:03good defensive team. They're not a good offensive
- 9:05team. They're trying to lose.
- 9:07They're trying to get as high as a higher draft pick in this
- 9:10year's draft because it's a quality draft and you would
- 9:13expect it. The fact Sierra is, is that Bam
- 9:17out of bio right now? I wouldn't say he's going to
- 9:19score 83 points, but he's going to do this more often because
- 9:22the game has changed and it's going to change even more when
- 9:25the new CBA comes out and the NBA changes the rules.
- 9:29You're not. This isn't the first or this is
- 9:30not going to be the last time a player's going to score 838586.
- 9:35Eventually, we're going to see a player score 100 points.
- 9:37The game is different. You have guys that can hit 9 to
- 9:4010 or 13 three pointers in one game.
- 9:44Now you have centers that can get into the paint, draw fouls,
- 9:48shoot free throws. And yeah, 83 points is pretty
- 9:52remarkable. I want to see Bam do it against
- 9:56a good defensive team. I want to see Bam do it against
- 9:59a more prominent team. But you can't take away what he
- 10:03did. Now you look at Will
- 10:05Chamberlain. You look at the 100 point game
- 10:07that he had. Very impressive.
- 10:09But remember, in those days in the 60s and the 70s, there were
- 10:15very few teams. There weren't 30 something teams
- 10:17in the NBA. It was like 1514.
- 10:22And he was the biggest player in the league.
- 10:24The second biggest player in the league was Bill Russell.
- 10:27And that's why the competition between both those guys, you saw
- 10:31defense against offense. Bill Russell was the one that
- 10:34stopped Will Chamberlain. Will Chamberlain only won, if
- 10:37I'm not mistaken, he won two championships, one with the
- 10:4076ers and one with the Lakers. Bill Russell won 10 or 11
- 10:46championships. The Celtics were a dominant
- 10:50organization that knew how to stop Will Chamberlain.
- 10:52Just like I said this about Giannis, everybody wants
- 10:55Giannis. All the Knick fans want Giannis.
- 10:57The problem with Giannis is Giannis is not good in the play
- 11:00offs. Giannis has been held to a
- 11:04different standard in the play offs and that's what happens to
- 11:07bigs if you can't shoot. Wilt Chamber wasn't what 3 point
- 11:10shooter? He was an he was a paint player.
- 11:13He was a guy that could shoot free throws, but he would
- 11:15dominate in the paint dunk. He wouldn't even have to jump
- 11:18the dunk. Bam out of bio's a different
- 11:22kind of player. He's big, he's strong, he can
- 11:25get into the paint, he can rebound.
- 11:27So and and again, the Wizards practically let Bam out of bio
- 11:31do whatever he wants. If you look at the statistics in
- 11:33the game, I mean, they stick out to you.
- 11:36Think about it, Bam out of bio have he played 42 minutes, 83
- 11:41points, 20 for 43, seven for 22 at the three-point line, free
- 11:46throws, 36 for 43 rebounds, 9 assists 3.
- 11:51He dominated. Absolutely dominated.
- 11:53His plus minus was 20. That's the Wizards.
- 11:59Do you expect that against the Nuggets?
- 12:01Do you expect that against OKC? Do you expect that against
- 12:03Detroit or the Knicks? No, but it's impressive.
- 12:08An NBA game scoring 83 points. It doesn't matter how bad an NBA
- 12:13team is. We've seen this before.
- 12:15There are NHL teams that are horrible and we've seen guys
- 12:18score five goals against those horrible team.
- 12:20It's not easy to score five goals in a game.
- 12:24So you're going to take that that record away or you're going
- 12:27to take that away from the player that scored five goals.
- 12:30How about six goals in a game having two hat tricks?
- 12:32We've seen that before. I, if I'm not mistaken, Wayne
- 12:36Gretzky at one point scored nine goals in a game.
- 12:41It's impressive. You cannot steal that.
- 12:45And I, I understand Robert Horry is an ex player.
- 12:47He's got his own opinions and, and Robert already played for
- 12:50those great Houston Rocket teams, the LA Lakers, the Spurs,
- 12:54He won multiple championships. He's a sensational six man.
- 12:59He's he's one of the more deadliest 3 point shooters in
- 13:02the finals and in the playoffs. He was sensational.
- 13:05He was a good basketball player. He's not Bam out of bio.
- 13:10Now Bam has never won a championship, but what Bam has
- 13:15done in this league, he's he's changed the power forward
- 13:18center's position. He's a more unique defensive
- 13:24offensive player at his position.
- 13:27Look at this. the United States team had three big men on that
- 13:32team. The number one play, the number
- 13:35one big man on that USA team that just played in the Olympics
- 13:38was Bam out of bio. He starred and he started over
- 13:42Joel Embiid. He started over all the big men
- 13:46on that team. He was the best big man.
- 13:51Speedy, stop looking at the camera.
- 13:52The camera's going to freeze. I keep telling you there's
- 13:54nothing you can do about it. Bam out of Bayou, to me, is one
- 14:00of the best defensive offensive centers in the league. 16
- 14:05points, it doesn't matter. 20 points, it doesn't matter.
- 14:08What he did in the game was unique.
- 14:10It's different. You're not going to see
- 14:11something like that again, at least in the next couple of
- 14:14years. But again, the rule changes, the
- 14:16offensive changes, the pace of the game changes, the NBA
- 14:20changes. And again, you can go back and
- 14:24forth. You can argue your points about
- 14:25what he has done. I don't think you can argue what
- 14:28he brought to the table that night against a Wizards team
- 14:31that didn't want to come out and play.
- 14:33Now, if Anthony Davis played in the game and he was defending
- 14:36Bam on a BIOS, Bam on a BIOS score 83 points, probably not.
- 14:41And the Washington Wizards are starting third string players
- 14:44for a whole 48 minutes. It's different when you think
- 14:48about it. And again, I I could go back and
- 14:51forth on the Wilt Chamberlain situation.
- 14:54I wrote a story. You guys could go check it out
- 14:56on the Worldwide Sports Radio Network.
- 14:57Bam drops 83, Kobe drops 81, Wilt drops 100.
- 15:02And the Internet still finds a way to argue about it because
- 15:06when Wilt Chamberlain did it, oh, he didn't play against
- 15:09anybody. There's only a certain amount of
- 15:12teams. There's nobody the same size.
- 15:14If you go back and you look at what he did and you watch that
- 15:16100 point game on the NBA on nba.com, because you could go
- 15:20watch the old videos that they have on your YouTube or on the
- 15:24NBA Network. They play that old 100 point
- 15:27game that Will Chamberlain had. And the facts here is, and I'll
- 15:33tell you this, the facts here is, is Will Chamberlain still
- 15:37put up 100 points, He still rebound, rebounded like 30-40
- 15:41rebounds in that game. You can't take that away from a
- 15:44star player just because there was nobody the same size as him.
- 15:48There was no more. There's no big man as as
- 15:51athletic as he was. And going back to Kobe Bryant,
- 15:56Kobe Bryant was unique too. And, and if you watch that Kobe
- 15:59game, they were feeding Kobe, feeding Kobe the ball.
- 16:03Try to break that record in the fourth quarter.
- 16:07He was fed every single time the Lakers came down the court.
- 16:12And by the way, for all the fans out there that want to go back
- 16:16and forth on what they saw and how it's a much of how much this
- 16:19is a mockery for the NBA. How is it a mockery?
- 16:23It was the biggest story of the night.
- 16:26That was the same night of the WBC Team USA getting knocked
- 16:31out, knocked down by the Italian team.
- 16:35They beat him 86. And we're going to get into that
- 16:37a little bit later. But that wasn't the big story, A
- 16:40big surprise that Italy knocked off Team USA.
- 16:45And the biggest story of the night, Oh, by the way, I think
- 16:47it's the same night that the Crosby trade was evoked, that
- 16:55Baltimore decided to to take back the draft picks they sent
- 17:01to the Raiders. The biggest story of the night
- 17:05wasn't even Crosby. It wasn't.
- 17:08It wasn't to the WBC and Team USA and Team Italy.
- 17:12It was Bam out of bio, knocking down 83 points in an NBA game.
- 17:17Yeah. It's not the playoffs.
- 17:18Yeah, it wasn't Against an elite team.
- 17:20It doesn't matter how many players do stuff like that.
- 17:22How many players do that in an NBA game?
- 17:25There was only three players in history of the NBA to score over
- 17:3180 or more points, and really from different eras, different
- 17:35decades. Will Chamberlain did it in the
- 17:4060s. I think it was the 60s.
- 17:44What right. It was the 60s.
- 17:46It was 62. 62 I think. It was 62.
- 17:50Kobe Bryant did it in the early 2000s and now BAM Autobio did it
- 17:55in 2026. If you think about it, Will
- 17:58Chamberlain did it 40 years before Kobe, Kobe Bryant hit his
- 18:0481 points and then 20 something years after that it was Bam out
- 18:09of bio. This doesn't happen every day at
- 18:11teams. Players don't hit 80 point games
- 18:14every single year. It doesn't happen.
- 18:16But I'm going to tell you this right now with the game, the way
- 18:19it's changed and the rules and the defense and how teams don't
- 18:22really play hard every single week and every single game.
- 18:25I'm going to tell you this right now.
- 18:26You're going to see this again. It's going to happen again
- 18:29because that's the way the NBA works that it's not a it's
- 18:33really not about what you do in a regular season.
- 18:36It's what you do in the playoffs.
- 18:37And and again, I'm not surprised that this happened with BAM Auto
- 18:40Bio. Yeah, Speedy was working on on
- 18:44the camera, so he asked me to go first.
- 18:46I just wanted you guys to know one stat that I think is really
- 18:51fascinating about this. And look, bam, scoring 83
- 18:54points. Fantastic.
- 18:55Just a third guy ever to do 80 plus points.
- 18:59It's unbelievable. He's also the only guy who
- 19:02scored 70 points or more and had a sub 50% shooting percentage
- 19:07from the field because he's he took a ton of shots and
- 19:10obviously he got hacked a lot and he got a lot of foul shots
- 19:13contributing to it, But he only shot 46 1/2% from the field in
- 19:17this game. Now you you talk about, well,
- 19:19there's no footage of that hundred point game.
- 19:22We don't know how they were feeding it to Wilt in that game.
- 19:25We, we assume most of the guys Wilt we're going against, we're
- 19:29about 1/2 a foot to a foot shorter than him, considering
- 19:32how the game was back in those days.
- 19:34So I, I, you know, you got, it's just a legend at this point.
- 19:37You know, Wilt's long gone. It's one of the great stories
- 19:41that we all grew up on. You know, my generation, I'm 40
- 19:44years old, you know, and you guys younger, you know, it's
- 19:47even more of a legend to you. So I remember Kobe, that was
- 19:502006 I believe, so exactly 20 years ago.
- 19:54That was unbelievable when it happened.
- 19:56That Raptors team was terrible. He Jalen Rose got torched that
- 20:00entire game by Kobe. I mean, Kobe was put made it a
- 20:04mission to go get him. And there's guys saying that
- 20:07that Kobe game was more impressive.
- 20:08I think the Kobe game might have been a little more impressive
- 20:10just because Kobe is the shot creator as opposed to, you know,
- 20:15the one that was getting fed. To go make those plays like when
- 20:18he was already in the position, they everyone knew Kobe was
- 20:20going for these shots. He was getting in there double
- 20:23teamed, triple teamed. He didn't care.
- 20:25He was Kobe Bryant in 81 with Kobe.
- 20:28And if you asked Kobe to break 83 in that game, of course he
- 20:31would have broken 83 too. He just didn't have to because
- 20:34no one had done that yet. It wasn't a number for him to
- 20:36have to go get. If Kobe had to go get a number,
- 20:38he probably would have done so as well.
- 20:40But, you know, I think it says a lot speedy more about, you know,
- 20:46not so much Like I don't want to belittle what Bam did because
- 20:49it's amazing. But I think it's just shows the
- 20:52reverence of how people think of Kobe Bryant, you know,
- 20:55essentially, especially since he passed on that, you know, what
- 20:59he did and how he was able to facilitate offense on his own.
- 21:03It's just a little bit, maybe a little bit more special on
- 21:05better shooting night than against like the absolute most
- 21:08garbage defense the NBA has seen.
- 21:11Speedy This might be the worst defense in 10 years.
- 21:13What the Wizards? I mean, yeah, it's always going
- 21:15to be a bad team. I I think when you look at these
- 21:17tougher statistical feats, though, I, I think Errol was
- 21:19mentioning before, like in hockey especially like getting
- 21:22five goals in a game against against anyone is hard because
- 21:25you have to go face off with a goaltender.
- 21:27You got to go face off with a guy hitting you on the on the
- 21:29line. In basketball, you obviously
- 21:30can't goal tend. That's that's a penalty.
- 21:32The basket counts, so I'm getting 83 points in that kind
- 21:35of setting I think is maybe a little bit different.
- 21:38But again, it's still a hard feat to do, especially for a big
- 21:40man. Like you look at you look at the
- 21:41raw size for Wilt Chamberlain back then compared to how much
- 21:45you have to be able to do it in the athleticism now.
- 21:46And I think that's why a lot of these people are still being
- 21:48tainted on that. Obviously the amount of buy will
- 21:50never be as good of a player all time as Wilt Chamberlain
- 21:52obviously, but you look at the magnitude of it in today's game
- 21:57where the athletes are a lot harder and I think that's where
- 21:59I was getting it before. Like 83 points is still going to
- 22:01be a very difficult feat when you're playing playing against
- 22:04the athletes of today. And I think one of the comments
- 22:05on his story was like there's a lot of like Luka Doncic and
- 22:09Giannis type freak athletes that are in today's game compared to
- 22:13Wilt Chamberlain's time. But obviously he'll never catch
- 22:16the amount of Wilt Chamberlain. Now obviously Kobe, there was
- 22:19difference with the game circumstances too.
- 22:21Kobe came back, Kobe came back down in the game.
- 22:25I think they were down by 10 or something.
- 22:26So they had to get those baskets to go.
- 22:28Like obviously somebody like Derek Fisher and guys like that,
- 22:31We're not going to lead them back at the time.
- 22:34And then you look at this kind of instance to Miami has
- 22:37shooters, but they don't have a like great overall team.
- 22:40So try to make that kind of thing work circumstantially the
- 22:43same way is a little different as well.
- 22:46So there is merits to both of them.
- 22:47I think it's a little harder in today's game for a big man to do
- 22:50it. So I will still give autobio his
- 22:51flowers on that one. Is it tougher for somebody like
- 22:54Kobe's creating his own shots more?
- 22:55Sure. But I'm not going to like
- 22:58downplay it because 80 points we've seen 70.
- 23:00But those are mostly from scoring guards today.
- 23:02Devin Booker, Luka Doncic did, Don Donovan Mitchell I believe
- 23:05did it. But those are scoring guards.
- 23:07Those aren't big men today. It's harder for a big man today
- 23:09in today's rules, in today's game, just how it's operating to
- 23:13make that kind of thing work to score 83.
- 23:15I don't care how bad the defense is at that point because
- 23:17especially now, you're seeing like teams also pull guys late
- 23:20in games too when they know they either have a good lead or
- 23:22they're playing. It's a shitty team.
- 23:24All right, so I got the camera working.
- 23:26I see. Oh, Speedy, looking at my
- 23:28camera, wondering why it's freezing.
- 23:30I fixed it, ladies and gentlemen, had to run to the
- 23:33back because our producers don't understand it.
- 23:36Well, I figured it out anyways to get back get back to the and
- 23:40now I can actually think because I see speedy looking at my
- 23:43computer. I see fish looking over here.
- 23:46I see Tommy making a mistake on the board.
- 23:48So hopefully everything doesn't freeze anymore and I don't have
- 23:52to hear my production over here not do something right.
- 23:54So let let me get back to this whole Bam Auto Bio thing.
- 23:58And now I can actually think and I'm not going to have a problem
- 24:01worrying about something freezing.
- 24:03Bam Auto Bio is a unique player. Nobody can take that away from
- 24:08him. I know everybody's sitting here
- 24:09today and wondering why Bam Autobayo scored 83 points is a
- 24:16joke. It is not a joke.
- 24:18This guy is a great player. He's one of the top players in
- 24:21the league. How many centers could do what
- 24:23Bam Autobayo does? How many centers could do that?
- 24:28Nicola Yokich might be the only center in the league that could
- 24:31do what Bam on a bio did. And everybody's going to say,
- 24:34well, what about Giannis? Giannis is not that that type of
- 24:37player. Giannis can't really shoot the
- 24:38three. Maybe Webb and Yama, maybe in
- 24:41the future where Webb and Yama grows and and gets a little bit
- 24:44bigger and a little bit stronger, like Bam on a bio that
- 24:46he can dominate in the paint. We saw what happened to get OG
- 24:49and Anobi. We've seen what's happened to
- 24:51guys like like like Webb and Yama.
- 24:55It takes a little while to grow into his body.
- 24:59But again, going back to this story and, and, and obviously
- 25:02what we have seen over the last couple of weeks with the NBA is
- 25:06there's there's a lot of scoring.
- 25:08The NBA is different now. There's more scoring.
- 25:12You're gonna, you're gonna get some of these rookie players.
- 25:14You see Cooper Flagg, we've seen some of the young players get a
- 25:17chance to score 50. Cooper Flagg, I think he's the
- 25:20youngest player to ever score 50 points in a game.
- 25:24We've seen the rookie 3 point record happen this year.
- 25:28Is it a coincidence? No, this is what happens.
- 25:31The development of players. These kids train harder, these
- 25:35kids start younger. It's a different game.
- 25:38It's more faster, it's more talented and and you're going to
- 25:41see more athletically gifted players come out of this year's
- 25:44draft and Peterson and Boozer and to Beza, they're all
- 25:51athletically gifted and you're going to see even many.
- 25:53Fleming's is going to be an athletic player in the league.
- 25:56Wilson's going to be an athletic player in the league.
- 25:58You're going to just see these players get better and better
- 26:01and more talented as the years go by.
- 26:04Bam autobayo. Bam autobayo's never done this
- 26:07in the season. Bam Autobayo I don't even think
- 26:10has ever scored 50 points in a game, so this is a first time
- 26:16for him. That doesn't mean that Bam out
- 26:17of Bayou will never score 50 points in a game.
- 26:20This only gives him confidence that he can do this.
- 26:24The game is different, the speed of the game is going to be
- 26:27different, Talent is different. Will Chamberlain never played
- 26:33against athletically gifted players like this?
- 26:35Will Will Chamberlain If Will Chamberlain played in the league
- 26:38now with guys like Webbing Yama or Nicole Yokich, Could Wilt
- 26:42Chamberlain score 100 points in a game?
- 26:44The answer would be no. Can Kobe play in this game?
- 26:48100%. Can Michael Jordan play in the
- 26:50game? Absolutely.
- 26:52You're going to tell me right now if Michael Jordan wanted to,
- 26:56he couldn't score 83 points or 85 points in a game.
- 26:59He absolutely could, but that wasn't important to him.
- 27:04What Bam out of bio did this past week was unique.
- 27:09Why is anybody like Robert, Rory or any of these guys taking
- 27:13shots at this kid? It's not this guy's fault that
- 27:15with the Wizards don't want to play hard.
- 27:17It's not his fault that the wizard that the Miami Heat was
- 27:21giving him the ball and feeding him the ball and he was going
- 27:23up. He was.
- 27:23He was shooting 3036 free throws.
- 27:28He went out there and played his butt off.
- 27:30He played hard. Are we going to be a nut breaker
- 27:35to him and we're going to just break his nuts because he's not
- 27:38he he this is something that we haven't seen before or he
- 27:42shouldn't have done it. Bamanabayo is not the guy that
- 27:44everybody expects. He's not the big man that
- 27:46everybody expects that's going to score 83 points in a game.
- 27:50So that's why Robert Ori and every single person, every
- 27:53single ex athlete, every single player in the league when
- 27:56they've interviewed them. I saw Giannis interview and he
- 27:58was like, I, I've never seen this offensive type of game by
- 28:02Bamanabayo ever in his career. That's great, but he did did it.
- 28:04He scored 83. What is Giannis going to say?
- 28:07Until Giannis does it, Giannis can't do it.
- 28:10But if Giannis did it, if Giannis scored 83 points, oh
- 28:13it's Giannis, it's the Greek Freak.
- 28:15If it was Nicola Yokich, oh it's Nicola Yokich.
- 28:18This guy is a triple double machine because it's Bam out of
- 28:22bio who is a defensive minded player, rebounder.
- 28:26Everybody's having a conniption. Everybody hates it.
- 28:31No, but nobody wants to see it. Everybody wants attack Bam auto
- 28:35bio because he had a fantastic game.
- 28:39That's what my story for the worldwide Sports Radio Network
- 28:42and why I posted it. Everybody asked me what are you
- 28:45going to write about Bam auto bio And I said, I don't, there's
- 28:49no need to write about Bam auto bio.
- 28:50And they say, well, look what everybody's saying about him.
- 28:53Everybody's saying that this is a this is AI don't even know
- 28:58what they said. This is a force.
- 29:01This shouldn't have happened. The NBA should not accept the
- 29:04fact that this guy broke Kobe Bryant's record.
- 29:08Well, Errol, what do you feel about the the intentional
- 29:10fouling down the stretch to stop the clock with this rule that
- 29:14they didn't have back in those days?
- 29:15Who cares? The game's changed.
- 29:17Everything changes. We're gonna.
- 29:20Sit here and gonna complain. That's one of the things they
- 29:23brought up and I think it's a valid point that that's an
- 29:25advantage that they had in this game that they didn't have in
- 29:28the other 280 plus games. I don't think it's a big deal.
- 29:33And again, the game has changed. I, I know that over the last
- 29:37couple of years, the NBA has said that the rules have opened
- 29:39up the game in the 90s. I've said, I've said this many,
- 29:42many times, Could the Golden State Warriors play in those
- 29:4690s, those 90 bull against those 90 Bulls teams?
- 29:49No, because if you have guys like Ron Harper and Michael
- 29:54Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman defending those
- 29:58guys, and we can name Olive and all you Golden State Warrior
- 30:02fans that want to jump for joy on how great the Golden State
- 30:04Warriors were and there's championship teams and they're a
- 30:08dynasty. So are the Chicago Bulls.
- 30:12Those teams were unbelievable. The 96 Bulls could arguably be
- 30:17the greatest basketball team of all time.
- 30:19Does Bam autobio score 83 points against the 96 Bulls?
- 30:23Not a chance in hell. This is the Washington Wizards.
- 30:27Third string players, second string players, guys that nobody
- 30:32wants. But you're going to take that
- 30:34away from him because he played against non talented players.
- 30:38If you make it to the NBA, you're you're the best of the
- 30:41best. You're not in the G League,
- 30:43you're in the NBA. Just because you're a third
- 30:46string player, you're the number 12th player on your roster on
- 30:50the depth charts, or 11th or 10th.
- 30:52Does that mean that Bam Auto Bio shouldn't score 83 points?
- 30:55No. I'm going to score as many
- 30:56points as I possibly can. But everybody's attacking him.
- 31:00Screw Bam Auto Bio. He's not that good of a player.
- 31:04The guy's a Hall of Famer. Oh, Hall of Famer.
- 31:07You're going to tell me everybody makes it to the Hall
- 31:09of Fame? If Bam out of Bayou retired from
- 31:12the NBA right now, how long has Bam been in the league?
- 31:15Since 2017, so this is his 10th year.
- 31:18Bam out of Bayou is a Hall of Famer.
- 31:22He's a Hall of Famer If you look at his numbers and I can name a
- 31:27bunch of players that are going to the Hall of Fame at his
- 31:30position or have been have gone to the Hall of Fame with his
- 31:33practically same numbers. He is one of the most consistent
- 31:38big men in the NBA. But we're going to take that
- 31:42away from him. We're going to attack him
- 31:43because, oh, he scored 83 points in the game in a game and we've
- 31:47never seen this with from Bam out of bio.
- 31:51That's the problem right now. And I, I again, as an NBA fan, I
- 31:54am a big die hard NBA fan. It bothers me when you have ex
- 31:59NBA players like Robert Ori that's crying the river cry in
- 32:03the river. Oh, this is this is absolutely a
- 32:05joke. This is a joke.
- 32:08This this hurts the NBA. Why?
- 32:10Because Robert Ory was Kobe Bryant's fan friend.
- 32:14Who cares? So what?
- 32:16He broke Kobe Bryant's record. Kobe will always be remembered
- 32:19as one of the best offensive. I'm sorry, one of the best
- 32:23offensive guards the NBA has ever seen.
- 32:29Robert Ory, I don't care how many championships he won, he
- 32:32played with some of the greatest basketball players of all time.
- 32:35He played with Kobe, Shaquille, he played with Elijahwan, he
- 32:41played with Drexler. We could go on.
- 32:44And Spurs. He played with Tim Duncan, He
- 32:46played with Mano Ginobili, he played with Tony Parker.
- 32:53Who does Bam Autobio play with? Really, who does he play?
- 32:57Oh, I got it. Tyler Hero, that's who he's
- 33:00playing with. That's the superstar player that
- 33:03Bam out of bio is playing with and nobody wants to give him
- 33:06credit. He played with Butler for a
- 33:09couple of years. Honestly, if you would ask me
- 33:12right now, who is the heart and soul, who is the best player on
- 33:16those Miami Heat teams? It is Bam out of bio.
- 33:23He was the workhorse. Jimmy Buckets couldn't stay
- 33:26healthy. Damon Abayo's one of the
- 33:29healthiest players. He plays as consistent every
- 33:32single year. So you're going to take this
- 33:34away from him because people don't like it.
- 33:37They don't like it. You know what, I got news for
- 33:40you guys. I don't like the way Speedy
- 33:43looks on camera. So you know what?
- 33:45He shouldn't be on camera anymore.
- 33:46I'm taking him off the camera. I don't want to look at him and
- 33:50fish when he goes, you know, on Jabba and the mouth.
- 33:54I'm going to mute him every time he does that because I don't
- 33:57like it. Guess what?
- 34:01Who the hell cares what you like?
- 34:04The guy went out there and played his butt off.
- 34:08If I scored 10 points against LeBron James at a basketball
- 34:11game, guess what I'm doing? I'm bringing about it. 43 points
- 34:19in a basketball game, An NBA basketball game.
- 34:25And that's what that By the way, who the hell is Kelly Oberay?
- 34:31Who the hell is he? Why is he speaking?
- 34:34What does he want? What the hell did he win?
- 34:39What now? He's broadcasting, He's
- 34:40podcasting. Who's next from the NBA?
- 34:43When they retire, how many podcasts are going to be out
- 34:46there talking about Bambo to Baio?
- 34:51It's ridiculous, it's pathetic. And and half of these NBA
- 34:55players should not be speaking. That's the problem right now in
- 34:59the NBA, everybody talks. Adam Silver doesn't have any
- 35:03control over these players, none of them, as we call it, the LJA
- 35:08because LeBron James is starting this.
- 35:12And I'm I'm telling you, it's only going to get worse because
- 35:14when LeBron leaves, you got Anthony Edwards that doesn't
- 35:17speak enough. And when he does, you just want
- 35:19to throw up and you have a good guy like Bam out of bio after
- 35:25the game, crying happy, having an opportunity to do something
- 35:32that nobody, no big man since Wilt Chamberlain has ever done.
- 35:37And by the way, the two guys that scored 80 or more points
- 35:41are big men, are big men. Kobe Bryant's the only small guy
- 35:48guard that's ever scored 80 or more points.
- 35:51What does that tell you? Tells you that the big man has
- 35:56transformed from the 60s to now the 2000 era, and they're only
- 36:01going to get better 'cause you got guys like Nicola Yokich
- 36:04getting triple double s every single game.
- 36:07So cry about it. How about this?
- 36:09Nicola Yokich is a cheater. He's put, I don't know, he's put
- 36:13special souls in his sneakers and that's why he's scoring 30
- 36:17something points a game. And the reason why he's passing
- 36:20the ball behind the back and he's he's passing it or doing
- 36:23alley oops with players that you can he's not even looking at the
- 36:26hoop. You know why?
- 36:27Because he's got a camera on that back of his ass.
- 36:30He's cheating. Nobody's saying that about
- 36:33Nicole Yokich, but because Bam out of bio is not a a point
- 36:37scorer. He's not a guy that scores 30
- 36:41points a game and he scores 83. It's a farce.
- 36:44It's it's it shouldn't happen. The NBA should not allow it.
- 36:48Real, real great. Thank you, NBA.
- 36:50This is this is garbage. And I'll I'll say this about Q
- 36:53Quinton couples. We were talking today and he
- 36:56said, are you going to get into this Bam out of bio thing?
- 36:59I said, yeah, Fish has it all set up for the beginning of the
- 37:02show. And he says, well, what do you
- 37:04think about it? I said, read my story.
- 37:07And then he asked me how to rate all three players that have done
- 37:11this. You know what I rated him?
- 37:13Kobe Bryant won Bam out of bio 2, Will Chamberlain 3.
- 37:18And the reason why I rated it that way is because Will
- 37:21Chamberlain was the biggest guy on the basketball court when he
- 37:25did it. The second biggest guy against
- 37:31him in that game was 6 foot 6. Go look at the go look at the
- 37:35size play the players were when Will Chamberlain's did.
- 37:38When Will Chamberlain's got 100 points, the biggest guy was 6
- 37:42foot six. He doesn't even have to jump.
- 37:48At least Bam out of bio has to play against 7 footers.
- 37:51They might not be good, but he played against the seven footer
- 37:56and athletically gifted. All of them are athletically
- 37:59gifted. Even the third tier players in
- 38:01the NBA right now could have played in the 60s and the 70s.
- 38:04They'd probably be the best player on the basketball court
- 38:07because half of them have a 36 vertical leap.
- 38:10None of those guys had it. In the 60s and the 70's.
- 38:13The point guards were like 5-10. That's the problem.
- 38:19I, I, I, you cannot compare errors.
- 38:22That's the problem right now with comparing errors in
- 38:25football, baseball, hockey, basketball.
- 38:29There is no comparison. It's just a different game,
- 38:33different ways to train. Check out our show on Spotify
