- 0:11Speaker 1: What's up, everybody. Welcome to another edition of the NFL
- 0:13Speaker 1: Fantasy Football Show. It's Me Your Man, MG. Marcus Grant,
- 0:16Speaker 1: joined by Michael Florio and Lakwan Jones l Q. You're
- 0:20Speaker 1: like us and you're a degenerate who plays in wacam
- 0:22Speaker 1: any leagues?
- 0:22Speaker 2: How many if you've done the tally yet? How many?
- 0:25Speaker 2: Did you make the playoffs? In seven?
- 0:27Speaker 3: The lucky number seven, and I hope to bring home
- 0:30Speaker 3: the gold in all seven and I'm posturing that way
- 0:33Speaker 3: to bring home all seven. So hopefully fingers crossed, we
- 0:36Speaker 3: get it done.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Sure it's seven, it's not six six seven, don't we're
- 0:41Speaker 2: trying to make that die.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Come on, No, I'm gonna absolutely bury it by saying
- 0:46Speaker 1: it over over till people are sick of it.
- 0:49Speaker 2: I said already, I don't have you? Have you done
- 0:52Speaker 2: the count yet? I don't think I've done the.
- 0:53Speaker 4: Official of I only did redraft, like I'm not doing
- 0:55Speaker 4: counting best Ball or Dynasty. Eight of eleven made the
- 0:59Speaker 4: playoffs and the three that didn't. All three came down
- 1:02Speaker 4: to Week fourteen Wow, one of which came down to
- 1:05Speaker 4: AJ Brown dropped. Literally, if he catches that touchdown, I
- 1:08Speaker 4: make the playoffs, he drops it, I lose it and
- 1:11Speaker 4: I missed the playoffs.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I think out of the seven redraft leagues, I think
- 1:15Speaker 2: I made four, so you know more than half. We're
- 1:19Speaker 2: all putting a differcentage out there. It's all. It's all.
- 1:21Speaker 2: That's all that matters. Like once you get here, all
- 1:23Speaker 2: that matters, and what this one.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Once you get to this point, you know, hey, the
- 1:27Speaker 1: ships fall where they may like, it's sort of out
- 1:29Speaker 1: of your hands. The job is to make it to
- 1:30Speaker 1: the second season. At that point anything can happen. So
- 1:34Speaker 1: our job today, that's pretty much every other day of
- 1:38Speaker 1: the year, is to help you continue to succeed in
- 1:41Speaker 1: your fantasy playoffs or I guess in your consolation bracket
- 1:43Speaker 1: if you're in that too, right where if you win
- 1:47Speaker 1: to the bowl bracket, you're out right, That's how it
- 1:49Speaker 1: works in the consolation right you win, you're done, it's over.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Or if you keep losing, you lose all the way.
- 1:54Speaker 2: I've never really.
- 1:54Speaker 4: There's there's like for punishment leagues. I think that like
- 1:57Speaker 4: my league, my home league does it where you the
- 2:00Speaker 4: consolation is for the winner of it gets to make
- 2:02Speaker 4: their selection of like you could pick first pick twelfth
- 2:05Speaker 4: pick whatever you want, but regardless of what's on the
- 2:09Speaker 4: line in yours, waivers are for teams in playoffs.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna die this argument again to day, this argument
- 2:17Speaker 1: again today. What we are gonna do today is the
- 2:20Speaker 1: starts and sits for week fifteen plus. We are putting
- 2:24Speaker 1: Justin Jefferson in the start a meter. We're gonna have
- 2:27Speaker 1: some hot takes and we will be joined as always
- 2:29Speaker 1: during the week by cam Wolf.
- 2:31Speaker 2: But we are going with the starts and sits.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Of course, you can read all of Michael lef Florio's
- 2:35Speaker 1: starts and sits at NFL dot com slash starts sit.
- 2:38Speaker 2: See how that works. It's really simple. Let's we go
- 2:40Speaker 2: with the quarterback position. Who do you like? Who do
- 2:42Speaker 2: you not like? In Week fifteen, Lamar looked like Lamar again.
- 2:46Speaker 2: He has a fantastic match.
- 2:47Speaker 4: At least he was running again, which I should say
- 2:49Speaker 4: like he didn't look like full Lamar, but close to it.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Running again and great match against the Bengals. I don't
- 2:55Speaker 4: think they could stop him twice in a three week span.
- 2:57Speaker 4: Jackson Dart just a reminder, he was at over twenty
- 3:00Speaker 4: one Fantasy points per game as a starter of the
- 3:02Speaker 4: Commanders have really struggled against the pass this year. I
- 3:06Speaker 4: think Jared Goff, I expect the Lions to be really
- 3:09Speaker 4: aggressive this week. That means going for it on fourth down,
- 3:11Speaker 4: going for two at times, and throwing the.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Ball a lot. The Rams they have a very good
- 3:17Speaker 2: offense as well.
- 3:18Speaker 4: They've also struggled a little bit against the pass as
- 3:20Speaker 4: of late.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I'm not trying to cause a crashouts. Yeah, we just
- 3:23Speaker 2: got to get through the show. I guess yet the show.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Look, look, Rock Purdy, I'm saying good things about your
- 3:30Speaker 4: team here. Look he's a safe floor option in a
- 3:33Speaker 4: great matchup the Sis. I'm sitting Jacoby Brissett. I'm doing
- 3:36Speaker 4: it so myself in a number of leagues. I just
- 3:38Speaker 4: wanted to avoid the Texans matchup at all costs. Jordan
- 3:41Speaker 4: Love is very touchdown dependent, and he's facing the team
- 3:44Speaker 4: that is a lot of the second fewest pass touchdowns.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Caleb is playing in a blizzard and the floor already
- 3:49Speaker 4: is a week losing floor, so I'm getting away from that.
- 3:52Speaker 2: And then CJ. Stroud.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Yeah, I know the Texans are winning and their fun
- 3:55Speaker 4: story right now, but it's all.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Bad for fantasy unless you have Nico Collins. Really.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Yeah, somebody asked me whether they would start h C J.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Stroud or uh oh who Okayle Williams, I think it
- 4:10Speaker 1: was or C. J.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Stroud really even in the frozen.
- 4:17Speaker 4: That might change, Okay, the weather might put I would
- 4:20Speaker 4: go JJ McCarthy though, over those options like go pick
- 4:23Speaker 4: him up, he's out there, Get Marcus Mariota.
- 4:25Speaker 2: He's might be out there.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Marcus Mariota this week is an option against the New
- 4:29Speaker 1: York footballer said that zikes kwan Jordan Love going up
- 4:34Speaker 1: against the Denver Broncos. He has played well, looked very
- 4:38Speaker 1: good against the Chicago Bears last week. Also, it's large
- 4:42Speaker 1: Japanese automaker palooza at your local dealership.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Or what I think. That's how I think, that's how
- 4:46Speaker 2: it goes your feelings on Jordan Love this week.
- 4:51Speaker 3: I like that he's a sit this week because this
- 4:53Speaker 3: is a matchup where we've seen the Broncos put hands
- 4:56Speaker 3: and feet on quarterbacks, like this is the number one
- 4:58Speaker 3: team in QB HIT, so they are to be physical.
- 5:00Speaker 3: They're going to touch him, okay, and this is a
- 5:03Speaker 3: defense that could take the ball away. So they're completing
- 5:05Speaker 3: their sacks they're taking the ball away, causing chaos in
- 5:08Speaker 3: the trenches. This is not a matchup where Jordan Love
- 5:10Speaker 3: should be taken into starting lineups. Don't get cute, but
- 5:13Speaker 3: I will say this, This isn't where Jordan Love is forgotten.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Hopefully you make it to the next round, because if
- 5:18Speaker 3: you make it to the next round in the playoffs,
- 5:20Speaker 3: I'm starting him in week sixteen and seventeen when you
- 5:23Speaker 3: have the Bears in the Baltimore Ravens to wrap up
- 5:25Speaker 3: the championship. So this isn't like a completely let go
- 5:28Speaker 3: to the wave wire pick up another quarterback. This is
- 5:31Speaker 3: where you're gonna stash and roster and hold on to
- 5:33Speaker 3: Jordan Love because I like his playoff matchups in the
- 5:36Speaker 3: next few weeks.
- 5:37Speaker 1: All right, so we're not necessarily starting Jordan Love this week.
- 5:41Speaker 1: But maybe don't drop them, don't drop them, don't drop him,
- 5:45Speaker 1: don't do it.
- 5:46Speaker 2: It's shouting a good fantasy quarterback.
- 5:50Speaker 4: I think he's a real highly underrated, real life quarterback.
- 5:53Speaker 4: I think what holds him back from being so in fantasy.
- 5:57Speaker 4: I think he has the upside of being like not
- 5:59Speaker 4: in a lead option because he doesn't run, but like
- 6:02Speaker 4: that second tier the Packers just need to let him
- 6:04Speaker 4: throw more. They're throwing the ball at I know, last
- 6:06Speaker 4: I checked, it was the third lowest rate in the NFL.
- 6:09Speaker 2: That was coming into last week. It might have changed
- 6:11Speaker 2: a little bit, but let him air it out. He
- 6:14Speaker 2: statistically was is one of the best throwers of the
- 6:16Speaker 2: football in the NFL.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean he threw the ball really well last
- 6:19Speaker 1: week watching that game against Chicago. Just a lot of
- 6:21Speaker 1: touch passes, a lot of on target, on time throws.
- 6:25Speaker 2: He's really really good against Chicago.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Also say he's a really predictable quarterback as well.
- 6:30Speaker 2: You can predict it.
- 6:31Speaker 3: With matchups he's going to do good and then the
- 6:33Speaker 3: matchups he's going to do bad.
- 6:34Speaker 1: And like for example this week, yeah on the road
- 6:37Speaker 1: at Denver, doesn't seem all that the appealing for joinings. Yeah,
- 6:43Speaker 1: over the running backs because this is I don't know,
- 6:47Speaker 1: I think there's an interesting running back matchups this week
- 6:49Speaker 1: across the board.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Who are your starts and who are your sits? Travis
- 6:52Speaker 2: Etna is a must start for me this week. I
- 6:54Speaker 2: have a hot take with him later on in the show.
- 6:58Speaker 2: I love r J Harvey. Look.
- 7:00Speaker 4: R J Harvey is the first Sean Payn running back
- 7:03Speaker 4: to get the bulk of carries, targets, and goal on
- 7:05Speaker 4: usage since prime Alvin Kamara, Quinn Shawn Judkins gets so
- 7:09Speaker 4: much volume.
- 7:10Speaker 2: He's the goal one runner there, and it's going to
- 7:12Speaker 2: be a feel.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Of negative ten, I believe is the high right now
- 7:15Speaker 4: they're calling for in that game, they're gonna run.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Good luck tackling him. I think Tremon and Ramandre are
- 7:21Speaker 2: in play against the Bills. I think Trayon is the
- 7:23Speaker 2: highest ceiling play.
- 7:24Speaker 4: I prefer him, but Steven said has a good chance
- 7:27Speaker 4: of scoring a touchdown.
- 7:28Speaker 2: And then the Sis. Look, it's looking like it's gonna be.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Brady Cook as the quarterback for the Jets, So yeah,
- 7:37Speaker 4: that's bad for free call.
- 7:39Speaker 2: He had one target from him last week.
- 7:40Speaker 4: And the Jags are the best run defense statistically, David
- 7:44Speaker 4: Montgomery because the Rams are elite against the run, and
- 7:47Speaker 4: don't look now in the last month, he's averaging eight
- 7:49Speaker 4: opportunities per game.
- 7:50Speaker 2: It's just not usable. Kenneth Walker, he's.
- 7:54Speaker 4: Still playing a little bit over Charbonay, but it's been
- 7:56Speaker 4: so frustrating. And then Jordan Mason, like I know, he
- 7:59Speaker 4: scored a two touchdown. If you look at Jordan Mason's
- 8:01Speaker 4: game log, they're all the same. He rushes between somewhere
- 8:04Speaker 4: like forty and fifty five yards and if he doesn't
- 8:06Speaker 4: get a touchdown, he scores like five Fantasy points.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Man, that that one week of Jordans was kind of
- 8:12Speaker 1: fun way back. He's a good runner, it's just not
- 8:15Speaker 1: a good The situation is that.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Part whole line though, the whole line for the Vikens
- 8:19Speaker 3: is kind of bad too, so it's not like he has.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Enough room to actually work.
- 8:23Speaker 3: And like all the things we've seen with him with
- 8:26Speaker 3: the forty Whiners, like I was expecting that coming, you know,
- 8:29Speaker 3: from the forty Winers, to have Minnesota utilize him the
- 8:32Speaker 3: same way, but just didn't.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Just didn't work. Yeah, Harvey, look at r J.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Harvey was a dude that the kuwan you were You've
- 8:42Speaker 1: been taping for all season long.
- 8:44Speaker 2: It took a while. And then look, but I'm not
- 8:46Speaker 2: putting this on you. This is basically a Sean Payton thing.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Sean Paynon, yes, wasn't giving him opportunities now because everybody
- 8:53Speaker 1: else is just vanished.
- 8:55Speaker 4: R J.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Harvey's getting his opportunity this week got the Packers, who, for.
- 8:59Speaker 2: The most part seems to have been a good run defense,
- 9:01Speaker 2: but not lately. How you feeling about RJ this week?
- 9:04Speaker 2: I hope Sean Payton kind of switches it up.
- 9:06Speaker 3: I hope he really utilizes him as the album Kamara
- 9:08Speaker 3: like how Florio has said that he is the first
- 9:11Speaker 3: running back we've seen get this type of usage. But
- 9:13Speaker 3: look at the b roll right here. This is all
- 9:15Speaker 3: I want to see all game. RJ Harvey needs to
- 9:17Speaker 3: be utilized in the passing game. Get these Packers linebackers exhausted,
- 9:21Speaker 3: get them running sideline a sideline. Because r J Harvey
- 9:24Speaker 3: has proven he could be a weapon all over the field.
- 9:26Speaker 3: We're seeing him catching the ball in the red zone. Like,
- 9:29Speaker 3: I need more of the password from RJ Harvey this
- 9:31Speaker 3: week so he can repeat these back to back weeks
- 9:33Speaker 3: that he's put it up. RB one numbers twenty plus
- 9:36Speaker 3: fantasy points, Like, I think this is where you can
- 9:38Speaker 3: get it done. Because we've seen previous running backs in
- 9:41Speaker 3: the pass against the Packers put a big points. Davonte Williams,
- 9:44Speaker 3: Rico Daddle, even Tyrone Tracy with a solid outing out
- 9:48Speaker 3: of that week in Week eleven. So I look at
- 9:50Speaker 3: this as an opportunity where Sean Payton unleashes him in
- 9:53Speaker 3: the passing game, so we can get some solid fantasy
- 9:55Speaker 3: points this week.
- 9:56Speaker 1: That's been the nice thing is that he has had
- 9:58Speaker 1: a decent target shar and target volume over the last
- 10:01Speaker 1: few weeks, because I mean, look, if we're being honest,
- 10:04Speaker 1: he has not been the most efficient runner necessarily obviously
- 10:08Speaker 1: had the seventy five yards last week, that was great.
- 10:10Speaker 1: He's been able to find the end zones a few
- 10:12Speaker 1: times the last couple of weeks. That has sort of
- 10:13Speaker 1: been nice, but the rushing numbers on the ground haven't
- 10:16Speaker 1: been great. Hopefully this is a week that that starts
- 10:18Speaker 1: to change. But either way, we do have the targets
- 10:21Speaker 1: to kind of fall back on, and that is a
- 10:23Speaker 1: really good thing, I think for RJ Harvey and fantasy
- 10:26Speaker 1: managers who are starting RJ Harvey at this point.
- 10:29Speaker 2: All right, we are just getting started.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Of course, we'll have more starts and since coming up
- 10:33Speaker 1: later on in the show, we'll get into the wide
- 10:35Speaker 1: receivers and the tight ends a little bit later, also
- 10:38Speaker 1: have some game previews as we look at Sunday Night
- 10:41Speaker 1: and Monday Night football. But first a quick break. Will
- 10:43Speaker 1: come back with more coming up on the NFL Fantasy
- 10:45Speaker 1: Football Show taking a look at the Sunday night football
- 10:52Speaker 1: game the Minnesota Vikings heading down to Arlington to take
- 10:54Speaker 1: on the Dallas Cowboys, and these are the first touchdown
- 10:58Speaker 1: odds for that game. Javonte Williams, who we have really
- 11:02Speaker 1: feel like we haven't really talked.
- 11:03Speaker 2: About him a whole lot. In guy man, I got
- 11:07Speaker 2: to get back on board. We'll talk about him just
- 11:09Speaker 2: a little bit.
- 11:09Speaker 1: But George Pickens right behind him, followed by Jake ferguson side.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Note to this, as of this recording, Ceedee Lam's still
- 11:17Speaker 1: in concussion protocols. We're still waiting to see what the
- 11:19Speaker 1: updates are on him. Aaron Jones Sr. And then Justin Jefferson,
- 11:23Speaker 1: which tells you a lot about how the season's going
- 11:25Speaker 1: for Justin Jefferson that he's number five of five on
- 11:30Speaker 1: this list.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Befooria, if you are picking.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Somebody here, is it somebody on that list or somebody
- 11:35Speaker 1: maybe off board?
- 11:36Speaker 2: No, it's on the list.
- 11:37Speaker 4: My heart wants to say Justin Jefferson, But I don't
- 11:39Speaker 4: think he is the first one, right Like, I think they're.
- 11:41Speaker 2: In ketchup mode when it happens. So I think George
- 11:44Speaker 2: Pickens is where I'm going.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Coming off of that hugely disappointing game last TNF. He
- 11:50Speaker 4: got into it with Richard Sherman after he is their
- 11:53Speaker 4: go to guy in the red and end zone anyway,
- 11:57Speaker 4: And I think with everything that transpired last week, I
- 12:00Speaker 4: think they're, you know, teams as much as they say
- 12:02Speaker 4: they don't listen outside noise and stuff, I think with
- 12:05Speaker 4: something like what happened to they want to get.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Him right and get him going early.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Oh absolutely, teams du like there's no way social media
- 12:12Speaker 1: report everything's out there. It's like so hard to avoid,
- 12:15Speaker 1: like everybody does Laque of those guys Javonte Pickens, Ferguson Jones, Jefferson,
- 12:20Speaker 1: of those guys you like to score the first touchdown.
- 12:23Speaker 3: I mean, the way the season has been going, like
- 12:24Speaker 3: we've seen Tony Pollard last week, just go completely bonkers.
- 12:27Speaker 3: I'm gonna say it's Aaron Jones. It's gonna be the
- 12:29Speaker 3: least likely guy that you were probably looking at on
- 12:31Speaker 3: this list where you know, I gotta stick with my
- 12:33Speaker 3: joneses man, So I'm gonna go Aaron Jones SR. I
- 12:36Speaker 3: was gonna say if his name was Aaron Smith or no, no,
- 12:39Speaker 3: I probably wouldn't even noticed him on that board. To
- 12:41Speaker 3: be honest, I'm gonna, I'm gonna. I'm gonna throw out
- 12:45Speaker 3: another wrench in this one. What about Jake Ferguson, What
- 12:47Speaker 3: about the ferg Daddy?
- 12:48Speaker 1: They get down close little bootleg action, they're the goal
- 12:51Speaker 1: line and when I.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Hit forerg you are we are.
- 12:54Speaker 3: We gonna play the visionary again where I predict how
- 12:57Speaker 3: Jake Ferguson gets in tden zone. I will It will
- 12:59Speaker 3: be probably a third and goal and then we're gonna
- 13:02Speaker 3: look at dag back up, look to his left to
- 13:04Speaker 3: see Pickens, look at Ryan Florinard because I think CD
- 13:07Speaker 3: is not gonna play and he's gonna dump.
- 13:09Speaker 2: It right down in the middle of the field to
- 13:10Speaker 2: Jake Ferguson for a.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Touchdown, to fer Delicious for the touchdown there. Huh yeah,
- 13:15Speaker 1: you don't know.
- 13:15Speaker 2: In fact, the quan has the script. He got to
- 13:19Speaker 2: have it. They have it on Good Morning Football.
- 13:21Speaker 1: He got the script and he's just let you know
- 13:23Speaker 1: how things work there.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Probably because I've been hanging with Seth man Less.
- 13:29Speaker 1: That's why Less the the guys in the black unmarked
- 13:33Speaker 1: vans come and take me away.
- 13:34Speaker 2: I'm joking totally joke.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Anyways, get a little further into into Sunday Night Football,
- 13:42Speaker 1: uh flor you we saw Justin Jefferson on this list.
- 13:44Speaker 1: We know what kind of season it has been for him.
- 13:47Speaker 2: The Cowboys, despite being improved, they are still giving up
- 13:49Speaker 2: yards to wide receivers.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Would you dare? Certainly DNFs, But even in like a
- 13:55Speaker 1: redraft league, start Jordan Addison this week?
- 13:58Speaker 2: So I I for a different play. I write up
- 14:01Speaker 2: like deep plays, and he was one of the ones
- 14:03Speaker 2: I wrote up. But that understand that it is.
- 14:07Speaker 4: It's like if you're desperate, or if you're in a
- 14:09Speaker 4: fourteen team league or something like that, I have conviction
- 14:14Speaker 4: and being like, I will trust Justin Jefferson in a
- 14:16Speaker 4: favorable matchup because he's Justin Jefferson. But Jordan Addison, he
- 14:21Speaker 4: has been getting volume. I'm not gonna say he's not,
- 14:23Speaker 4: but he is not that same caliber of player. So yeah,
- 14:27Speaker 4: he's not someone that I'm like forcing into lineups.
- 14:30Speaker 2: But maybe you're you're a.
- 14:31Speaker 4: Little banged up with injuries, or you're in a really
- 14:33Speaker 4: deep league something like that.
- 14:35Speaker 2: To me, that is where Jordan Addison slides in.
- 14:37Speaker 1: All right, So Addison maybe in the right situation gets
- 14:41Speaker 1: a look from folks. We talked about Javonte Williams just
- 14:44Speaker 1: touched on him briefly there with the touchdown odds.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Has Deefonte Williams become matchup proof?
- 14:51Speaker 1: I know it's like, I know it's weird to be
- 14:53Speaker 1: asked this question in week fifteen, like seasons almost over.
- 14:56Speaker 2: But has he become matchup proof this year? Yeah?
- 15:00Speaker 3: I mean, honestly, when we look at some of the
- 15:01Speaker 3: games where we shouldn't be starting him, I mean the
- 15:04Speaker 3: Chiefs game, he puts up RB one numbers, the Denver game,
- 15:06Speaker 3: he puts up RB one numbers, And I'm looking at
- 15:08Speaker 3: this game like, why wouldn't he put up RB one numbers?
- 15:11Speaker 3: And he's attached to a top five scoring offense. The
- 15:14Speaker 3: Cowboys were in offense this whole offseason that we were
- 15:16Speaker 3: talking up of, like they have the weapons now which
- 15:19Speaker 3: puts them in scoring opportunities. They look at Javante every
- 15:22Speaker 3: time they get in striking distance. So I do feel
- 15:24Speaker 3: like this game they're going to be in striking distance
- 15:26Speaker 3: more and often than not. So I could see him
- 15:28Speaker 3: coming in and putting up RB one numbers. And also
- 15:31Speaker 3: he's getting involved in the passing game. As you can
- 15:33Speaker 3: see on the b roll that is one of those
- 15:35Speaker 3: things that he was doing in Denver as well. But
- 15:38Speaker 3: he is still doing it now at a more efficient rate.
- 15:40Speaker 3: So yeah, Javonte Williams next season is going to be
- 15:42Speaker 3: interesting conversation where he goes in drafts.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Yeah, he really is.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I mean, I feel my early prediction is probably a
- 15:48Speaker 1: late second, early third for Javonte.
- 15:51Speaker 2: But yeah, it feels good.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Unless people, you know, some people are still sleeping and
- 15:55Speaker 3: not believe. And I look at it like, hey, that's
- 15:57Speaker 3: a solid place to put him in ADP. I would
- 15:59Speaker 3: take them there.
- 16:00Speaker 2: I'm glad.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I'm glad I can get back in on it because
- 16:02Speaker 1: I was ready to kind of give up, but not
- 16:04Speaker 1: because of Javonte, just because of the situations he was in.
- 16:06Speaker 1: It just didn't seem particularly good for him. So nice
- 16:09Speaker 1: to see him coming back into our fantasy lives for sure.
- 16:11Speaker 2: There you go. We keep going on our Week fifteen previews.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Monday Night Football, The Dolphins at the Steelers, Miami kind
- 16:20Speaker 1: of running hot, the Steelers coming off of big win
- 16:22Speaker 1: ins Baltimore and very much in the cat birds seat
- 16:25Speaker 1: to win the AFC North. You can see that game
- 16:27Speaker 1: Monday at fifteen pm Eastern on the Four Letter Network.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Question to you, Lakwan Jones, is Tuwatumdabaioloa a startable quarterback
- 16:38Speaker 1: option this week?
- 16:40Speaker 2: Absolutely not.
- 16:42Speaker 3: I mean have you seen his game log in the
- 16:44Speaker 3: last couple of weeks. And again, I'm not going to
- 16:46Speaker 3: spend my Birthday weekend losing sleep at night with two
- 16:49Speaker 3: being the last resort if I know, if I go
- 16:51Speaker 3: to the next round into the playoffs, I'm looking at
- 16:53Speaker 3: this like, no, I'm looking for better options, Like I'm
- 16:56Speaker 3: even looking at Bryce Young maybe as a pivot option.
- 16:59Speaker 3: I would see William Trevor mid Lawrence is an option
- 17:02Speaker 3: that I've said this week in replacing the quarterbacks, we
- 17:05Speaker 3: cannot trust. Tua has not been great, man, It's been sorry.
- 17:08Speaker 3: And and even with the matchup that we look at
- 17:11Speaker 3: the Steelers defense where you can get up on this secondary,
- 17:13Speaker 3: I'm not gonna trust this, especially when Davon h Chen
- 17:16Speaker 3: banged up, so a lot is going to be on
- 17:17Speaker 3: Tua's back where I'm like, nah, bro, you have been terrible.
- 17:22Speaker 3: You have been unrosterble in these last couple of weeks.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Man, It's weird that the vibes are better in Miami.
- 17:28Speaker 2: And a two QB league. This week I have to
- 17:30Speaker 2: decide Tua or Caleb. Yeah, not fun.
- 17:37Speaker 4: I Mariota is my QB one, Like I lost Jayden,
- 17:43Speaker 4: it's been a bad year.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I probably go with Caleb because I would rather if
- 17:46Speaker 1: it's gonna be bad, I want to rip that band
- 17:47Speaker 1: aid off on Sunday, Like I don't want to die
- 17:49Speaker 1: a slow painful death on Monday night.
- 17:51Speaker 2: I'm the exact opposite, because I'm like, hey, if.
- 17:54Speaker 4: I'm gonna go down, I want to go I want
- 17:55Speaker 4: to still at least have a chance night.
- 17:58Speaker 1: You know, slow painful deaths is watching yourself watching your
- 18:01Speaker 1: team just bleed out on the floor, as to a
- 18:04Speaker 1: struggles to throw three yard passes.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Like Flora, You're gonna go to bed angry Sunday if
- 18:10Speaker 3: your team doesn't put up enough points and then you're
- 18:12Speaker 3: looking at Monday like.
- 18:13Speaker 2: All right too, you got to bring it home. That
- 18:15Speaker 2: is so stressful.
- 18:16Speaker 4: So you know, I said I had eight teams of
- 18:18Speaker 4: the this is one that it's again.
- 18:20Speaker 2: It's a two QB league and my qbs are awful.
- 18:22Speaker 4: I look at it and I'm like, yeah, I'm not
- 18:24Speaker 4: winning this league, so I'm hopeful.
- 18:27Speaker 2: My skill position. Guys are really good, but they got
- 18:30Speaker 2: to carry me. Man.
- 18:31Speaker 1: We will find out for sure, but that is an
- 18:33Speaker 1: awful dilemma to have to have. On the other side,
- 18:36Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers looked really good against the Ravens last week.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I posted on Blue Sky that it looked like twenty
- 18:42Speaker 1: sixteen Aaron Rodgers again, right. He was moving around in
- 18:45Speaker 1: the pocket, he ran for a touchdown, he did the
- 18:47Speaker 1: discount double check. Even it looked like the old Aaron Rodgers.
- 18:51Speaker 1: What should we expect for him this week against the Dolphins.
- 18:56Speaker 4: I think he goes back to what he always has been,
- 19:00Speaker 4: least with the Steelers, which is a floor play, right,
- 19:02Speaker 4: Like last week was his season high in passing yards.
- 19:06Speaker 4: Before that, he hadn't thrown for two point fifty in
- 19:09Speaker 4: a game this year. He hasn't thrown for multiple passing
- 19:13Speaker 4: touchdowns since Week eight against the Packers, which was hate inspired.
- 19:18Speaker 4: And yeah, the rushing touchdown was awesome last week, but
- 19:21Speaker 4: you can't like that was his first one of the year,
- 19:24Speaker 4: and I think his first one in over a calendar year.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Like, you can't bank on that. So Aaron Rodgers.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Is only to me in play in two QB leagues
- 19:33Speaker 4: and even that, like you look at last week was fun,
- 19:36Speaker 4: but before that he had three points a week before that,
- 19:39Speaker 4: and he had less than ten in three games before that.
- 19:42Speaker 2: So I'm not trusting him in the Fantasy playoffs. I know.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Earlier in the week on Fantasy Live, Patrick Claiband said,
- 19:47Speaker 1: the Rogers Revolution is a one week thing, and it
- 19:50Speaker 1: sounds like you're sort of doubling down on that as well.
- 19:53Speaker 4: Look, we keep talking about these deeper QB twos. I
- 19:56Speaker 4: would take a shot on JJ over Aaron Rodgers this week?
- 20:00Speaker 4: What is all with you with JJ? Man? Absolutely not?
- 20:05Speaker 2: Noh yeah. When I'm diving this deep, I'm looking at
- 20:09Speaker 2: the matchup and that's it, you know you? So you
- 20:12Speaker 2: play Aaron Rodgers over JJ McCarthy this week? Yes, I would.
- 20:16Speaker 3: I would confidently, Yes, I'm not playing JJ because look,
- 20:19Speaker 3: we look at JJ with the matchup, right, we know
- 20:23Speaker 3: the Cowboys defense is bad at the past, but how
- 20:26Speaker 3: bad is JJ? So we're comparing bad and bad, and
- 20:29Speaker 3: I think JJ is worse than the Cowboys defense. But
- 20:32Speaker 3: I'm sure we can get into this later.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Aaron Rodgers failed to score three Fantasy points two weeks ago.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Three.
- 20:41Speaker 3: I know, I know, I know, I'm going with the
- 20:44Speaker 3: better talent in this one, regardless of the matchup. I'm
- 20:48Speaker 3: going with Aaron Rodgers.
- 20:51Speaker 2: The talent is old. Yeah, you look at me as old.
- 20:53Speaker 4: Three straight games and single digit fantasy points for the
- 20:56Speaker 4: Earth the just who old to be on my fantasy.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Roster since Week nine. Last week is the only week
- 21:03Speaker 2: he's scored more than fifteen points. We shall not.
- 21:07Speaker 1: I mean in the end, that's probably both score Like
- 21:10Speaker 1: na Man, JJ's throwing three touchdowns.
- 21:12Speaker 2: This week were like twelve points.
- 21:14Speaker 1: And it's gonna be Riley Leonard. He may not even
- 21:21Speaker 1: play this week. We'll say Riley Leonard, chill out, get
- 21:25Speaker 1: back to the starts. And since looking at the wide
- 21:28Speaker 1: receiver position Florida, who do you like?
- 21:30Speaker 2: Who do you not like? This week?
- 21:32Speaker 4: Jalen Waddle I think is a must start this week.
- 21:35Speaker 4: He's like the one consistent thing in the Dolphins passing attack,
- 21:38Speaker 4: and the Steelers have struggled against receivers. Terry McLaurin has
- 21:42Speaker 4: a lot of history of success against this matchup. It
- 21:44Speaker 4: had fourteen targets with Mariota and then the Giants struggle
- 21:48Speaker 4: against receivers.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Wandell that's lq's boy.
- 21:51Speaker 4: He's been getting so much volume, and it's a really
- 21:53Speaker 4: good matchup for him as well. And then I feel
- 21:56Speaker 4: like we're going to talk about Justin Jefferson a little
- 21:58Speaker 4: bit more, and then my sis, Michael Wilson. I wanted
- 22:01Speaker 4: to avoid that matchup by all. Like I've played fantasy
- 22:05Speaker 4: a lot, We've seen great stories come crumbling down when
- 22:08Speaker 4: they have matchups like this. I think you get rid
- 22:10Speaker 4: of the Colts wide receivers this week, it's going to
- 22:12Speaker 4: be Philip Rivers' best case scenario, and the Seahawks are
- 22:16Speaker 4: elite against receivers. I'm not going to get rid of
- 22:18Speaker 4: the away from the Bears wide receivers and that terrible
- 22:21Speaker 4: weather game against a tough Browns defense.
- 22:23Speaker 2: And then Xavierworthy, like I know he had his best
- 22:26Speaker 2: game in a while last week.
- 22:28Speaker 4: That feels very circumstantial because they couldn't get Rashid Rice going.
- 22:31Speaker 4: I'm not The Chargers' secondary, I think is highly underrated,
- 22:34Speaker 4: and now it's getting more talking point because of Monday.
- 22:37Speaker 4: But still they've been great all year.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Yeah, they have a really good this year.
- 22:40Speaker 1: I mean having a guy like Derwin James just sort
- 22:43Speaker 1: of patrolling the area also is going to make your
- 22:45Speaker 1: secondary a whole lot better. Let's look at Wanda Robinson.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I'm saying, like if I was pitching, Yeah, like wand Delay.
- 22:51Speaker 1: You know that's what I say. I mentioned earlier, the
- 22:55Speaker 1: Giants and Commanders. They both have bad defenses. I think
- 22:58Speaker 1: there's a situation where they're good. Weirdly be a lot
- 23:00Speaker 1: of points scores because these defenses are bad. Talk to
- 23:04Speaker 1: me about Wanda Robinson, who really is having a very
- 23:06Speaker 1: good fantasy season.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Yes, the volume is there, Like I want to have
- 23:11Speaker 3: fantasy managers really get their expectations in order because I
- 23:14Speaker 3: am a little worried about Wanda Robinson's a dot Now
- 23:17Speaker 3: I'm looking at his a dot, which means basically how
- 23:19Speaker 3: he's being targeted down for the depth of his targets.
- 23:22Speaker 3: But we know that he's a yat guy. I feel
- 23:24Speaker 3: like with Jackson Dark, we're not seeing the full capability
- 23:27Speaker 3: of Wandell Robinson. So I'm not looking at Wanda as
- 23:30Speaker 3: a wide receiver two or obviously not a wide receiver one.
- 23:33Speaker 3: He is a flex play this week. Just make sure
- 23:35Speaker 3: your other wide receivers are lock solid. So I wouldn't
- 23:38Speaker 3: be starting him over at chrys Olave because I think
- 23:40Speaker 3: the ceiling may be a little bit higher at Tetraro
- 23:42Speaker 3: McMillan in a difficult matchup. I look at this is
- 23:45Speaker 3: where Wandell Robinson's a piece that gives you that safe
- 23:47Speaker 3: floor just based on the voume. So folks do not
- 23:50Speaker 3: go out there expecting he's going to be putting up
- 23:52Speaker 3: what he was doing with Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson.
- 23:54Speaker 3: So I just want folks to have that expectation clear
- 23:58Speaker 3: when they're making these roster decisions.
- 23:59Speaker 2: This week.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Oh so I do the segment on NFL Fantasy Live
- 24:04Speaker 1: called Slots of Fun where I talk about guys who
- 24:06Speaker 1: prolay primarily in the slot and kind of project my projection.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Now admittedly, like you know, some of this is entertainment purposes.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Only eight catches eighty one yards for wan Dale this week.
- 24:18Speaker 2: I like it. Oh. I like that. It's a sixteen
- 24:22Speaker 2: point game, sixteen point ye and if somehow he finds
- 24:24Speaker 2: the end zone, he finds the en zone, it's a
- 24:26Speaker 2: huge game out of Wandale Robins and he can do it.
- 24:28Speaker 2: He can do it. He can do it against Washington
- 24:31Speaker 2: for sure.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Moving over to the tight end position, as I find
- 24:37Speaker 1: my place in the rundown again, who are your starts
- 24:40Speaker 1: and sits at tight end?
- 24:41Speaker 2: Floria.
- 24:42Speaker 4: I still think Tyler Warren is the only Colt I
- 24:44Speaker 4: would start outside of Jonathan Taylor with confidence this week
- 24:47Speaker 4: because it's a really good matchup for him, and I
- 24:49Speaker 4: think the quarterback is going to rely heavily on the
- 24:51Speaker 4: tight end. Donkin kid back at practice this week. We
- 24:55Speaker 4: saw last week it was Dawson Knox get more production.
- 24:58Speaker 4: I think we see Kinkaid take a step forward usage
- 25:00Speaker 4: wise this week in a good matchup. I like Isaiah
- 25:03Speaker 4: likely more than Mark Andrews, but I think both are
- 25:06Speaker 4: in play this week. We saw last week two tight
- 25:08Speaker 4: ends can very much eat. We saw the week before
- 25:10Speaker 4: that two tight ends could very much eat again, and
- 25:12Speaker 4: now those two were the Ravens two weeks ago against
- 25:15Speaker 4: the Bengals, so I like both of them. Dallas Goddard,
- 25:18Speaker 4: I know he had a big game last week. Seems
- 25:20Speaker 4: like a kind of matchup driven because the Chargers are
- 25:23Speaker 4: so good against wide receivers. The Raiders, on the other hand.
- 25:26Speaker 4: Third few was yards of tight ends, the season fewest
- 25:28Speaker 4: since we ten Hunter Henry. The Bills have been the
- 25:31Speaker 4: toughest matchup for tight ends this season. Evan Ingram is
- 25:35Speaker 4: just a name at this point, and Mikeaseki, I know
- 25:37Speaker 4: he's coming off his biggest game of the year, but
- 25:39Speaker 4: I wouldn't chase the points because that game equates to
- 25:42Speaker 4: like seven of his other games from this.
- 25:45Speaker 1: So the Dallas Goddard thing is interesting because I looked
- 25:47Speaker 1: at him and I have him as a beware this week, right, Yeah,
- 25:51Speaker 1: because you mentioned that the Raiders don't give up a
- 25:54Speaker 1: lot of yards to tight ends, and I kind of
- 25:56Speaker 1: dug into that a little bit, and what I realize
- 25:59Speaker 1: is they don't give a lot of the tight end
- 26:00Speaker 1: because people don't throw to the tight end against them,
- 26:03Speaker 1: because I think what happens is you can run the
- 26:05Speaker 1: ball so effectively and you can your wide receivers you're
- 26:08Speaker 1: so wide open. It's just like offenses don't You're like,
- 26:10Speaker 1: oh yeah, we don't even have to get to the
- 26:11Speaker 1: tight end because like our wide receivers are just galloping
- 26:14Speaker 1: through their secondary Untie, do you hear that?
- 26:17Speaker 2: AJ hold on to the ball this week? Please hold on?
- 26:20Speaker 1: So yeah, So I say beware of Dallas Goddard not
- 26:23Speaker 1: because I think the Raiders are gonna clamp down on him,
- 26:25Speaker 1: but just because I think Jalen Hurts is going to
- 26:27Speaker 1: have his pick of like Saquon and aj and DeVonta
- 26:30Speaker 1: and like, oh hey, we haven't really gotten to Dallas
- 26:33Speaker 1: Goddard because of them at this point.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Okay, you want to ask you though about Tyler Warren.
- 26:38Speaker 5: Uh.
- 26:39Speaker 1: We have talked a lot about Philip Rivers because it
- 26:42Speaker 1: is very possible that he starts this week. Do you
- 26:46Speaker 1: still trust Tyler Warren or maybe it's he the only
- 26:48Speaker 1: guy you can trust with Philip Rivers at quarterback, Yes,
- 26:51Speaker 1: just based off the matchup.
- 26:52Speaker 3: This has been a weak point for the Seahawks' defense
- 26:55Speaker 3: all season long against the tight end position. Allow on
- 26:57Speaker 3: the second most catches, second most catches and fans points
- 27:00Speaker 3: to the position. So I look at Tyler Warren where
- 27:02Speaker 3: he gives us back that tight end one performance that
- 27:05Speaker 3: we have been missing these last couple of weeks, and
- 27:07Speaker 3: I think, if it's Rivers, if it's Riley Leonard who
- 27:10Speaker 3: had a full practice on Wednesday, I'm saying this now,
- 27:13Speaker 3: it doesn't matter who's there at the quarterback position. I
- 27:16Speaker 3: don't think it's a bold take to think that we
- 27:18Speaker 3: can get number one this week for the fantasy playoffs.
- 27:21Speaker 3: In Week fifteen, tight end one, Tyler Warren.
- 27:25Speaker 2: It's Tyler Warren still in play.
- 27:26Speaker 1: I do feel like that's kind of the consensus that
- 27:28Speaker 1: if there's anybody they can trust, it's Tyler Warren one
- 27:31Speaker 1: because of who the quarterback might be, whoever it is,
- 27:33Speaker 1: and also because the matchup. Because Seattle's done a good
- 27:36Speaker 1: job of shutting down pretty much everything else. They have
- 27:38Speaker 1: not done a good job of shutting down tight end.
- 27:41Speaker 1: So if you've got Tyler Warren, maybe you can breathe
- 27:43Speaker 1: the least a little bit easier. Also, as we've said
- 27:45Speaker 1: repeatedly on this show, the bar for success at the
- 27:48Speaker 1: tight end position a lot lower than it is at
- 27:51Speaker 1: a lot of other ten points, that's all we want.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Ten points can make you a tight end one. That's
- 27:55Speaker 1: all you really need.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Time for a break.
- 27:57Speaker 1: But when we come back, we're putting Justin Jefferson in
- 28:00Speaker 1: the Starto Meter. We'll give you our bold predictions for
- 28:02Speaker 1: week fifteen, and we'll catch.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Up with our friend cam Wolf. All Right, we did
- 28:11Speaker 2: the Starto meter earlier in the week.
- 28:13Speaker 1: We did it with quarterbacks, but the man who actually
- 28:16Speaker 1: I think started this whole conversation was Justin Jefferson. So
- 28:20Speaker 1: we had to of course, but jj in the starto meter,
- 28:24Speaker 1: And so I listed some other wide receivers here, and
- 28:28Speaker 1: you guys can tell me, and I'll start with you.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Floria and Lakwan, you can jump in whether you're starting
- 28:33Speaker 1: Jefferson or these other.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Guys that I'm mentioning here.
- 28:36Speaker 1: So first, do you start justin Jefferson against the Cowboys
- 28:41Speaker 1: or Deebo Samuel against the Giants.
- 28:43Speaker 2: It's not even a question to me. I'm going justin.
- 28:45Speaker 3: Jefferson, Deebo Samuel, Diebo Samuel. You might be Jefferson, Floria
- 28:51Speaker 3: might be Jefferson, all of these, and then Lakwan's gonna be.
- 28:53Speaker 2: The other guy on all of these.
- 28:55Speaker 3: So let's have the conversation then, because that's exactly what
- 28:58Speaker 3: I'm doing.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Well, but we got to we gotta go through all this,
- 29:01Speaker 1: you know, because there is one name, and there's one
- 29:04Speaker 1: name in here that I think you're gonna be sort
- 29:05Speaker 1: of twisted over Laquant just based on your past history
- 29:08Speaker 1: on this show. We'll keep going down the list, all right,
- 29:11Speaker 1: So Florio, Jefferson or Troy Franklin against the Packers.
- 29:15Speaker 4: I mean it's Jefferson. He said he would drop Troy
- 29:18Speaker 4: Franklin on Monday.
- 29:20Speaker 2: All right, So Jefferson or Troy Franklin. Thanks for Lorio.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Some people didn't watch one show, but okay, yes, Justin Jefferson.
- 29:30Speaker 2: All right, Justin Jefferson or Michael Wilson.
- 29:33Speaker 3: I'm going Justin Jefferson there because of matchup, all right,
- 29:36Speaker 3: all right, Michael Wilson, Michael Wilson against the Texans.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I should throw on mind, I'm gonna I go Jefferson
- 29:43Speaker 1: over Deebo. I would probably go Jefferson over Franklin. I
- 29:50Speaker 1: probably go Jefferson over Wilson too, but that one's close
- 29:52Speaker 1: for me. That one's close. I think I go Jefferson
- 29:55Speaker 1: over Wilson. But it's close, all right, Laurio, Jefferson or
- 29:59Speaker 1: Stefan Diggs against the Bills, which, by the way, it
- 30:02Speaker 1: sounds weird to say Stephan Diggs against the Bills.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Yeah, it does. It depends on Christian Benford. He was
- 30:06Speaker 2: in a walking boot.
- 30:07Speaker 4: On Thursday, but every report so far is saying that
- 30:10Speaker 4: it's just precautionary and like he was looking good at practice.
- 30:13Speaker 4: We'll see if he sits, I will go digs. If
- 30:16Speaker 4: he plays, I'm going Jefferson, all right, Uh Higgs digs?
- 30:20Speaker 3: He lit him up last time, Diggs, And if a
- 30:22Speaker 3: Benford ain't gonna be out there, he gonna do it again.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Because it's motivated by hate.
- 30:27Speaker 1: I think it's I think it's Steph Diggs this week,
- 30:29Speaker 1: over over Jefferson. For me, this is the one where
- 30:32Speaker 1: I think Lakwan's gonna maybe, you know, have a little
- 30:35Speaker 1: bit of a headache here, uh, Forrio Jefferson or Ladd
- 30:39Speaker 1: Mconkey against the Chiefs.
- 30:40Speaker 2: I'm actually gonna go Justin Jefferson. Oh okay, all right,
- 30:45Speaker 2: laqu I know how you feel about Ladd. I know
- 30:47Speaker 2: you are not a lad. You're not one of Ladd's lads.
- 30:51Speaker 2: How are you? Is it jeff or is it Lad?
- 30:55Speaker 2: Can that pass? You have to make a decision. Come on, Jefferson, volume.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Give me Lad. I'm gonna go Laddle. I'm gonna go
- 31:11Speaker 3: Lad over Justin Jefferson this week.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Listen. This is tough because we saw what happened.
- 31:16Speaker 3: With Justin Herbert with that left hand right, low pass volume,
- 31:19Speaker 3: low opportunities for all these pass catchers to go out
- 31:21Speaker 3: there and put up flex numbers or even wide receiver
- 31:24Speaker 3: two numbers. I'm still going Lad. I'm going Lid because
- 31:27Speaker 3: I can't put the trust in the hands and a
- 31:29Speaker 3: young quarterback that has not shown us anything that he
- 31:32Speaker 3: can bring Justin Jefferson remotely to even be trusted in
- 31:35Speaker 3: a flex position. So I'm going lad this week.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Jefferson does have some double digit fantasy games with JJ McCarthy.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Oh my god, how long ago was that? He has
- 31:43Speaker 3: one touchdown since week too? No, I need touchdowns, I
- 31:46Speaker 3: need fantasy points now.
- 31:47Speaker 2: The other thing, though.
- 31:49Speaker 4: Is like, I get it, the last two games have
- 31:51Speaker 4: been really bad, but we get like two games is a.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Microscopic sample size.
- 31:57Speaker 4: We have five and a half years of being like
- 32:01Speaker 4: Justin Jefferson is maybe the most talented wide receiver walking
- 32:04Speaker 4: the planet in the best by far matchup a wide
- 32:08Speaker 4: receiver could.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Have who was throwing him the ball? That's where the
- 32:12Speaker 3: source of the problem is. My boy is not even
- 32:15Speaker 3: getting the looks. That is the issue. The yards upside
- 32:18Speaker 3: is not there, the touchdown upside nothing.
- 32:20Speaker 4: Well last week last week, I think you have to
- 32:23Speaker 4: throw out the window.
- 32:24Speaker 2: They were up they won thirty one. Nothing like they
- 32:27Speaker 2: threw twenty three times. They might be down.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Thirty one nothing against Dallas in the first quarters. Like, no, no,
- 32:33Speaker 4: But that's really one hundred percent. Something that needs to
- 32:36Speaker 4: be factored in is they're going to have to throw
- 32:38Speaker 4: maybe fifty times compared to twenty times last week.
- 32:41Speaker 2: You know, like they're gonna be in ketchup mode the
- 32:43Speaker 2: whole Jamison volume there for sure, I think that helps.
- 32:46Speaker 1: All right, last one, Justin Jefferson or Jamison Williams against
- 32:50Speaker 1: the Rams.
- 32:51Speaker 2: This is one where I would go, Jamison, all right,
- 32:55Speaker 2: we're a line. Let's go Florio.
- 32:57Speaker 1: That's my boy. I figure you go Jamo in this one. Yeah, yeah,
- 33:01Speaker 1: against the Rams. There's opportunities. There's opportunities in the secondary
- 33:05Speaker 1: for explosive plays. Okay, that's all I'm gonna say. I'm
- 33:07Speaker 1: not gonna pinpoint the dB or the secondary. That's gonna
- 33:10Speaker 1: let it up. But there is opportunities for him to
- 33:12Speaker 1: get off in this game, all right, Emmanuel Forbes, come
- 33:17Speaker 1: on MG next? All right, Well, I'm just names on
- 33:20Speaker 1: the bullets.
- 33:20Speaker 2: I'm just I'm not asking.
- 33:24Speaker 4: Maybe I'm just trying to think back at some receivers
- 33:27Speaker 4: we have recommended against the Cowboys over over the course
- 33:30Speaker 4: of this season, and like, come on, Justin Jefferson buils
- 33:35Speaker 4: them all out of the water. Like I mean, you
- 33:38Speaker 4: look at the like Wandell had his career game against them.
- 33:42Speaker 4: Aj Brown had his biggest get right game at that
- 33:45Speaker 4: time against them. Luther Burden had his breakout game against them.
- 33:49Speaker 4: Marvel eight against them, Jamison like everyone who has played
- 33:52Speaker 4: the Cowboys has eaten.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Dude.
- 33:56Speaker 1: I mean, look, I still say I think I take
- 33:58Speaker 1: lad over Jefferson, but I definitely take Jamison Williams over
- 34:01Speaker 1: Justin Jefferson.
- 34:02Speaker 2: So this was actually peaceful.
- 34:04Speaker 3: I thought it was going to be a little bit
- 34:06Speaker 3: more chaotic, but this was actually peaceful.
- 34:08Speaker 2: When we do bold predictions, I'll tell you that I haven't.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Heard I heard the last of Jeffer and Justice, which
- 34:16Speaker 1: actually seems perfect.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Then, so let's let's pivot. Let's pivot. You had a
- 34:20Speaker 2: glass of milk.
- 34:21Speaker 1: We have some spicy takes for Week fifteen, so lakwan
- 34:24Speaker 1: start us off.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Let's get spicy.
- 34:27Speaker 3: Listen, I'm going spicy with this one. Harrow Fannin Jr.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Is going to put up a twenty five burger, and folks,
- 34:34Speaker 3: if you don't know, now you know we are officially
- 34:36Speaker 3: on Harrow Fannin Jr. Watch Because back in February, a
- 34:40Speaker 3: random day that I decided to say if he finishes
- 34:43Speaker 3: top five, I will dye my hair blonde again. I
- 34:47Speaker 3: don't know why I keep doing this to myself, but
- 34:49Speaker 3: he is currently doing this. He's currently top five. But
- 34:52Speaker 3: it's fine. It's working. I get the credibility as a
- 34:55Speaker 3: tightened whisper of what the fancy streets are saying.
- 34:57Speaker 2: But it's fine.
- 34:58Speaker 3: A twenty five burger for Harold Finn and in your
- 35:00Speaker 3: this week interesting, We're.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Going to see Lakwan's family this weekend. Oh about we'll
- 35:09Speaker 2: ask the wife how that's the white and the kids.
- 35:12Speaker 1: The kids are going to be like you know esus,
- 35:14Speaker 1: blatantly honest about it too.
- 35:16Speaker 2: If you do die you want, can you not tell
- 35:19Speaker 2: your kids?
- 35:20Speaker 3: And then let's them show up when you pick them up,
- 35:23Speaker 3: just be like surprise, surprise. Listen, it didn't go well
- 35:27Speaker 3: last time and she does not know that I made
- 35:30Speaker 3: this game well again hair on the tight end. So
- 35:34Speaker 3: when you guys see her this weekend, this should be
- 35:36Speaker 3: an interesting reaction.
- 35:37Speaker 2: That she does not know about. Right now wait, I
- 35:41Speaker 2: cannot wait. Uh. In the meantime, Flora, what is your
- 35:44Speaker 2: your hot take for the week?
- 35:45Speaker 4: We are the old fan and show of record. Now
- 35:47Speaker 4: the rest of the season it. Mine was going to
- 35:51Speaker 4: be pretty much what yours is. Like last week, mine
- 35:54Speaker 4: was a one hundred yards and a touchdown for Jefferson
- 35:56Speaker 4: And this week my Bowl prediction like we send them out,
- 35:58Speaker 4: they get tweeted out or whatever is Oh no wait,
- 36:01Speaker 4: I meant this is the week.
- 36:02Speaker 2: That he's gonna go for one hundred and a touchdown.
- 36:04Speaker 4: But Travis etn best Fantasy game of the season, which
- 36:08Speaker 4: is somewhere around like twenty three points. He hasn't had
- 36:11Speaker 4: the biggest of blow up games, but he has just
- 36:14Speaker 4: been reliable week in and week out. And like MG
- 36:18Speaker 4: was saying, oh no wait, that was on a different show.
- 36:21Speaker 4: The Jets run defense has been really bad since they
- 36:24Speaker 4: traded Quinnin Williams. Travis Etn has been running really well
- 36:28Speaker 4: as of late. I wouldn't be surprised if this is
- 36:31Speaker 4: a not really most competitive game and it's one where
- 36:34Speaker 4: the Jags just run the ball all day long.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Yeah, we do so many shows together that they all
- 36:38Speaker 1: kind of yeah at some point, No, I get it.
- 36:40Speaker 1: I get that, you sort of get the hint of
- 36:43Speaker 1: what my hot take is. My Bowl prediction is going
- 36:45Speaker 1: to be based on what Florio said justin Jefferson will
- 36:49Speaker 1: have his second twenty point game of the fantasy season,
- 36:52Speaker 1: the first one wow that he has had since we
- 36:55Speaker 1: back in Week four when Carson Wentz was actually quarterback
- 36:59Speaker 1: in the Minnesota Vikings at the time. I just think
- 37:03Speaker 1: they're really going to go out of their way to
- 37:05Speaker 1: get him the ball, especially after the last two weeks.
- 37:08Speaker 1: The dudes had a grand total of fifteen receiving yards
- 37:11Speaker 1: in the last two games. That's got to change, and
- 37:14Speaker 1: I think you're gonna see them making a concerted effort,
- 37:17Speaker 1: whether it's wide receiver screens, whether it's quick slants, just
- 37:20Speaker 1: something where McCarthy can get the ball out of his
- 37:23Speaker 1: hands quickly and then get it to Jefferson and just
- 37:26Speaker 1: let him sort of work. So I just look, man,
- 37:30Speaker 1: I know this hasn't been the season the Vikings wanted
- 37:32Speaker 1: it to be. But the way to sort of fix
- 37:33Speaker 1: that is by getting your guy the ball as much
- 37:36Speaker 1: as possible.
- 37:37Speaker 2: So I think we're going to see that happen this week,
- 37:38Speaker 2: and we're.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Gonna see justin Jefferson, if somehow you survived, I was
- 37:42Speaker 1: gonna say, I would love to know the percentage of
- 37:44Speaker 1: playoff teams that have just have It's pretty small.
- 37:47Speaker 3: Yes, that's why I want to know who was in
- 37:49Speaker 3: the room with us that we were speaking to that
- 37:51Speaker 3: actually made it this far to the fantasy playoffs in
- 37:55Speaker 3: my home league, that Justin Jefferson manager made the playoffs.
- 37:58Speaker 1: All right, there's gonna be somebody out there, because like
- 38:00Speaker 1: you can draft well around that, you know, like you
- 38:03Speaker 1: can hit. Got you Maybe you got a Javonte Williams,
- 38:05Speaker 1: I hope your running back spot.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Maybe you found a Mecca Buka who got you through
- 38:10Speaker 2: the first few weeks. Like there's ways that it happened.
- 38:12Speaker 2: So if you did that, I need to see the data.
- 38:14Speaker 2: I need to see the numbers. I need to see
- 38:16Speaker 2: the person anything.
- 38:17Speaker 4: Is Like I'm here battling for him. I have Justin
- 38:19Speaker 4: Jefferson on no team, like I didn't draft.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Him in a single team.
- 38:23Speaker 3: I was about to say, you sound like you're heavily
- 38:25Speaker 3: invested in this raiment, like I am not invested in.
- 38:28Speaker 4: I am invested now because I'm invested in our reviewers
- 38:32Speaker 4: and listeners fantasy teams that have Justin jeffersons.
- 38:34Speaker 1: I have him in a dynasty league which is going nowhere.
- 38:36Speaker 1: But it's not because of Justin Jefferson. Because my quarterback
- 38:39Speaker 1: situation is an absolute dumpster fire.
- 38:41Speaker 2: That's that's what that is. So and then they're doing
- 38:43Speaker 2: justin Jefferson.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Anyway, those are the hot Takes presented by Frank's Red
- 38:48Speaker 1: Hot l Q.
- 38:49Speaker 2: Appreciate you logging in as always, service talk to you
- 38:51Speaker 2: next week. Yes, sir, it's another week and we.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Are happy as always to be joined by our friend
- 38:59Speaker 1: and NFL Network reporter Cam Wolf. And Cam, I'm sure
- 39:05Speaker 1: so you're in the playoffs, I assume it both.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Are you the one seed in both of your leagues
- 39:09Speaker 2: this year?
- 39:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm the one seed in both of my leagues,
- 39:11Speaker 5: and I'm scared man, like you only got negativity to go.
- 39:16Speaker 5: This week, I'm playing the eight seed one of my leagues,
- 39:19Speaker 5: the guy six and eight. I don't know how he
- 39:21Speaker 5: got in the playoffs, but he's got a shot and
- 39:25Speaker 5: if he knocks me off, he'll he'll be laughing. And
- 39:28Speaker 5: so I'm curious how people feel is that one seed.
- 39:32Speaker 4: I do remember a couple of weeks ago, you were like,
- 39:33Speaker 4: I picked up Mike Evans and my league mates were like,
- 39:36Speaker 4: what do you know?
- 39:37Speaker 2: And now I'm sure coming your way?
- 39:40Speaker 5: Yeah, broken clocks are right twice a day, you know
- 39:43Speaker 5: what to tell you. You know, sometimes it just happens
- 39:45Speaker 5: that way, right, you know. I also picked up Trey
- 39:48Speaker 5: Benson and I just had to cut him.
- 39:49Speaker 2: So sometimes you don't get them all right, right. You
- 39:53Speaker 2: win some, you lose some. That's guy where it goes.
- 39:56Speaker 1: I got to ask you what the biggest story of
- 39:58Speaker 1: the week in Indianapolis. What are your expectations for forty
- 40:02Speaker 1: four year old grandfather Philip Rivers coming back to play.
- 40:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm gonna be honest, I have no expectations. I
- 40:08Speaker 5: just want to see it. I think it's gonna be
- 40:10Speaker 5: a fun story. I can't imagine getting off the couch
- 40:15Speaker 5: and doing anything I did four years ago, including like
- 40:18Speaker 5: playing flag football, so I can't imagine tackle football.
- 40:23Speaker 2: I look.
- 40:24Speaker 5: I hope there's a fun player too in the journey.
- 40:27Speaker 5: I hope that's he slings a deep touchdown or shakes
- 40:30Speaker 5: somebody off of him.
- 40:32Speaker 2: But this is not the right week that I would
- 40:34Speaker 2: love to make.
- 40:34Speaker 5: My comeback as a forty four year playing a Seattle
- 40:38Speaker 5: Seahawks team that is probably gonna blitch you and see
- 40:41Speaker 5: what your instincts are. So I don't have a lot
- 40:44Speaker 5: of optimism that is gonna go super well for Phillips Philip,
- 40:47Speaker 5: but I'm hopeful for a fun moment or two.
- 40:50Speaker 4: Hey, if it goes poorly this week, imagine what a
- 40:52Speaker 4: couple weeks from it looks like they play like Cam. Look,
- 40:56Speaker 4: you you've been with the brown like following the Browns
- 40:58Speaker 4: a lot this year and stuff has sha door made
- 41:01Speaker 4: a case to be there QB one next season.
- 41:04Speaker 2: He certainly made a case for sure.
- 41:06Speaker 5: I think that the way he played this past week
- 41:08Speaker 5: was the best performance he's had all season. He's improved
- 41:12Speaker 5: vastly on his pocket management, not drifting as much taking
- 41:15Speaker 5: those sacks. That's something that the Browns are really emphasized
- 41:19Speaker 5: with him, and he's showing a playmaking the ability that
- 41:22Speaker 5: none of their order of other quarterbacks can show. Now
- 41:24Speaker 5: to me, it's my consistency. You've got a few more
- 41:27Speaker 5: games left, can you put up a few more like that?
- 41:30Speaker 5: And if so, then yeah, maybe the Browns start thinking
- 41:33Speaker 5: we kick some of those pack picks back twenty seven,
- 41:36Speaker 5: we get pieces around him. If you don't fall in
- 41:39Speaker 5: love with somebody in that draft class, then why not
- 41:42Speaker 5: give it one more year. I think that he certainly
- 41:44Speaker 5: can make his case with with duplicating a couple of
- 41:47Speaker 5: those games.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I do like like they've kind of
- 41:50Speaker 1: kept the offense sort of simple. They add a little
- 41:52Speaker 1: bit in each and every week. I think he's done
- 41:54Speaker 1: a good job with what they have given him to
- 41:56Speaker 1: do so far. So I'm curious how to watch that development.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Can we get a Dolphins vibes checked? The vibes were
- 42:03Speaker 2: bad earlier in the year, it's kind of turned. What
- 42:05Speaker 2: are the vibes around the Dolphins? Yeah?
- 42:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I was just in a Dolphins locker room about
- 42:09Speaker 5: twenty minutes ago and Chop Robinson told me we had
- 42:12Speaker 5: hit rock bottom. We looked around each other and we're like,
- 42:14Speaker 5: I'm playing awful, You're playing awful?
- 42:16Speaker 2: Is this who we are? Are we awful?
- 42:18Speaker 5: And they really have galvanized together. They're playing with the
- 42:22Speaker 5: level of looseness, nothing to lose because they honestly had
- 42:25Speaker 5: nothing to play for until this week.
- 42:27Speaker 2: And you look up and you're like, maybe if.
- 42:29Speaker 5: We squid, maybe if this team does this and this,
- 42:31Speaker 5: and maybe we can get back into the hunt. And
- 42:34Speaker 5: so I wonder if they can still play with that
- 42:36Speaker 5: level of looseness. But a big portion of it is
- 42:39Speaker 5: they chained their identity leaning on that run game, leaning
- 42:41Speaker 5: on Devon h Chan in a way they have never
- 42:44Speaker 5: done before, and he's running the ball spectacular. I just
- 42:48Speaker 5: saw him at practice and he said he's doing well
- 42:50Speaker 5: health wise, and I expect him to play Sunday despite
- 42:54Speaker 5: that rib injury.
- 42:56Speaker 4: And don't think I didn't notice Josh Allen's picture returned
- 42:59Speaker 4: to your after a big win against the Bengals. But Cam,
- 43:04Speaker 4: I have to ask you, what is going on with
- 43:06Speaker 4: Joe Burrow. If I'm a Bengals fan his comments yesterday,
- 43:09Speaker 4: I'm on like panic ten level right now.
- 43:12Speaker 5: Yeah, it is always interesting because Joe doesn't talk much.
- 43:15Speaker 5: Joe's very internal, and so when he says anything of value,
- 43:19Speaker 5: you have to listen because it's coming from the heart.
- 43:22Speaker 2: I haven't got.
- 43:22Speaker 5: Any indications that, like Joe Burrow is considering retirement, which
- 43:26Speaker 5: is what I think some people went through there. But
- 43:28Speaker 5: I think that he's just getting a little worn down
- 43:30Speaker 5: by the injury cycle. Seems like every year it's him
- 43:33Speaker 5: coming back and having a great year and then him
- 43:36Speaker 5: getting injured, and it's.
- 43:36Speaker 2: Back and forth, back and forth.
- 43:38Speaker 5: I just think with no playoffs, no end results, I
- 43:41Speaker 5: think he had some time where he was trying to
- 43:43Speaker 5: compartmentalize it.
- 43:45Speaker 2: But Joe's a competitor.
- 43:46Speaker 5: I think he'll come out there this week and play great,
- 43:49Speaker 5: but certainly onus on the Bengals.
- 43:51Speaker 2: To not waste this Joe Burrow era.
- 43:53Speaker 5: And I think back to Andrew Luck, and you just
- 43:55Speaker 5: don't want to look a few years from now and say,
- 43:58Speaker 5: what if we were better set up to win in
- 44:00Speaker 5: the Joe Burrow era.
- 44:02Speaker 1: Yeah, that was the name that that popped into my
- 44:04Speaker 1: head too, was Andrew Luck. And I wonder if you
- 44:05Speaker 1: know Colts people are Colts fans aren't texting saying, hey, man,
- 44:08Speaker 1: make sure you take care of your guy.
- 44:10Speaker 2: We've seen what happens if he pulls it as you look.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Maybe they call it Carson back. That's a coach up
- 44:17Speaker 2: to playing quarterback for the Bengals. Who knows which game
- 44:21Speaker 2: we got this week, Cam.
- 44:23Speaker 5: I'm actually at the Steelers Dolphins game, so I will
- 44:25Speaker 5: get to see that Monday night game and see whether
- 44:28Speaker 5: the Dolphins can keep this magic run going against old
- 44:32Speaker 5: Aaron Rodgers.
- 44:32Speaker 2: So I'm really eager to see how they defend this
- 44:36Speaker 2: passing attack.
- 44:36Speaker 5: You know, they've been up and down this year, the
- 44:38Speaker 5: Steelers have, but dk Metcalt coming off a really strong week.
- 44:42Speaker 5: You know, we're Seul Douglas on the other end is
- 44:44Speaker 5: played well for the Dolphins. That's going to be a
- 44:46Speaker 5: fun matchup to watch. And then on the other side,
- 44:49Speaker 5: Ken the Steelers slow down Devon Chan, who's like we
- 44:52Speaker 5: talked about playing incredible Pro Bowl type year to me,
- 44:55Speaker 5: and the Steelers have really really struggled to stop that
- 44:57Speaker 5: run defense, the run game all over. So I think
- 45:00Speaker 5: this is actually a very competitive game. I know the
- 45:03Speaker 5: Steelers are the leaders of their division, but I think
- 45:05Speaker 5: the Dolphins can give them a run if they play
- 45:08Speaker 5: their style of ball. Don't try to get the ball
