- 0:00Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett.
- 0:04Speaker 2: All right, well, a couple of Thanksgiving observations and on
- 0:08Speaker 2: the sports side of things. My observation from Thanksgiving yesterday
- 0:12Speaker 2: was simply this, when the Chiefs lose, it's a national
- 0:16Speaker 2: sports story, the First Take and other outlets over the
- 0:20Speaker 2: night and this morning, leaning in with the.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Fact Chiefs lost, and they lost.
- 0:26Speaker 2: To the Cowboys, who, as Colony Romo and Jim NaN's
- 0:30Speaker 2: pointed out, as they pointed out, could run the table
- 0:35Speaker 2: if they beat the Troy next week. I mean, this team,
- 0:38Speaker 2: you know, gets rid of Micah. There's a lot of
- 0:40Speaker 2: stuff going on with this team, yet here they are
- 0:43Speaker 2: in prime position to take over the conference.
- 0:48Speaker 3: I haven't seen that from Dallas in a while, Dak
- 0:51Speaker 3: not making the mistakes that he usually does. It's been
- 0:53Speaker 3: a different team for Dallas this year. So we'll see
- 0:56Speaker 3: what happens out of that. But I do ope my bear,
- 0:58Speaker 3: my Dad's Bears. Thank for my Bears. I mean, when
- 1:01Speaker 3: I want the Giants succeed, but I want the Bears
- 1:03Speaker 3: to succeed for my dad, and when they do, I'm
- 1:07Speaker 3: happy as well. So they played today Black Friday, and.
- 1:10Speaker 1: By the way, if you.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Check out my Instagram alex G n YC one.
- 1:18Speaker 1: You'll see the.

- 1:22Speaker 2: and they have a great Black Friday sale for Fanatics
- 1:25Speaker 2: Fest twenty twenty six. Just check my Instagram out alex
- 1:29Speaker 2: J NYC one for Alex G the affiliate. But for now,
- 1:33Speaker 2: enjoy the many different takes on Thanksgiving over the years
- 1:38Speaker 2: on the one look up Alex Network. Well, continuing my
- 1:44Speaker 2: Thanksgiving Day sports observations is my favorite sports guy, Terminello's take,
- 1:50Speaker 2: lou Terminello, Happy Thanksgiving.
- 1:52Speaker 1: First of all, Happy Thanksgiving, Alex, thank you so much.
- 1:56Speaker 2: We had three very wild games yesterday. I mean the
- 1:59Speaker 2: line Packers. That was interesting because the Lions just looked,
- 2:04Speaker 2: they looked over match. And then of course I go
- 2:07Speaker 2: to have dinner and the Chiefs are up and I
- 2:09Speaker 2: walked back upstairs and they're losing, and it was like,
- 2:12Speaker 2: how did that happen? So there are just a lot
- 2:14Speaker 2: of storylines. But I want to go back to my
- 2:17Speaker 2: point I just made a couple of minutes ago in
- 2:19Speaker 2: the monologue, which is Louis when the Chiefs lose, it's
- 2:23Speaker 2: like the lead sports story across all It's almost like
- 2:27Speaker 2: the media lives and dies by what the Chiefs do.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Well. Obviously it's because of their great success over the
- 2:35Speaker 1: last decade. Obviously, they've won the division nine years in
- 2:39Speaker 1: a row. They're not going to do that this year.
- 2:41Speaker 1: And they've gone to all those Super Bowls, they won
- 2:46Speaker 1: three of them, and so that is the reason why
- 2:51Speaker 1: they're looked upon. They have the best coach in the league,
- 2:53Speaker 1: they have the best player in the league, and King's
- 2:58Speaker 1: greatness again was shown yesterday or that game one have
- 3:03Speaker 1: gone down to the to the you know, the final
- 3:05Speaker 1: three minutes. But I'm impressed with Dallas and with UH,
- 3:10Speaker 1: with UH Brian Schottenheimer. He's done a good He's done
- 3:13Speaker 1: a good job with that team. They have a lot
- 3:15Speaker 1: of good offensive weapons and I don't know if they're
- 3:19Speaker 1: gonna make the playoffs, but they're gonna be a tough
- 3:23Speaker 1: out the rest of the way. And I'm telling you
- 3:25Speaker 1: one thing, I don't know why, you know, you talk
- 3:28Speaker 1: about it's a national national disaster or it's national news
- 3:32Speaker 1: when the Chiefs lose, which hasn't been very often over
- 3:37Speaker 1: the last decade. But uh, you know, I really, I
- 3:43Speaker 1: really don't know why that Dak Prescott isn't elevated more
- 3:48Speaker 1: to a higher level. In a league where quarterback play
- 3:53Speaker 1: is so inconsistent, you have young guys playing, uh when
- 3:58Speaker 1: maybe they shouldn't be playing. I mean, he's he's a leader,
- 4:04Speaker 1: he's an accurate passer, he's tough. I mean, I I
- 4:08Speaker 1: think Dak Prescott is one of the most valuable players
- 4:12Speaker 1: players in the NFL this year. But matt Matthew Stafford's
- 4:17Speaker 1: going to win it if the season ended today. Matthew
- 4:20Speaker 1: Stafford's winning MVP. But it was a it was a
- 4:25Speaker 1: wild day yesterday. I thought I thought Detroit would bounce back,
- 4:30Speaker 1: but they haven't played well the last three four weeks.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Their defense is on what it was, their offensive line
- 4:35Speaker 1: isn't what it was. And Alex we always talk about
- 4:38Speaker 1: being a week two week league. It really is a
- 4:43Speaker 1: talent wise, maybe because of guys being injured. You know,
- 4:48Speaker 1: the Bills are playing Sunday with out there left and
- 4:52Speaker 1: right tackles, so, uh, when they play Pittsburgh, you don't
- 4:59Speaker 1: know what's gonna happen. Anybody who's making these predictions that
- 5:02Speaker 1: what's going to happen in February is really just whistling
- 5:05Speaker 1: in the dark. I mean, it's it's one week to
- 5:08Speaker 1: the next. What goes on? I mean, anybody, Quinn, Look, look,
- 5:12Speaker 1: Cincinnati gets Burrow back last night. I know Flacco did
- 5:15Speaker 1: a great job. You know, they lost the game where
- 5:18Speaker 1: Flacco scored thirty eight points. They lost the game when
- 5:22Speaker 1: they scored forty two, and the Bengals should have won
- 5:24Speaker 1: those two games. But with Burrow out, there is just
- 5:30Speaker 1: a different aura of a feeling for the uh the
- 5:35Speaker 1: s though with.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Joe Burrow it's a bringings a different energy to that team.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I mean, the defensive actually did something last night for
- 5:42Speaker 1: the Cincinnati Bengals. So I mean they're four and eight.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I mean they're in the division where that's catchable, but
- 5:50Speaker 1: I uh, you know, I don't think anything's gonna happen.
- 5:54Speaker 1: But it's a week to week league. It's the weirdest
- 5:56Speaker 1: the league is becoming so weird, it really is. Troit
- 6:01Speaker 1: might make the playoffs right now. Detroit is in the hunt,
- 6:05Speaker 1: but they're not in the playoffs. Kansas City is in
- 6:09Speaker 1: the hunt. So you can have an NFL playoff scenario
- 6:17Speaker 1: where there's no Detroit and there's no Kansas City. And
- 6:22Speaker 1: I don't think anybody would have figured that when the
- 6:24Speaker 1: season started back in September, and even teams like the
- 6:30Speaker 1: Eagles s total four to oh they lost.
- 6:34Speaker 2: That that's an interesting case study too, because the Eagles
- 6:38Speaker 2: look strong, but now they lose to well, they lost
- 6:42Speaker 2: the Cowboys. Now they lose to the Bears, and the Bears,
- 6:45Speaker 2: my dad's Bears. I have to say, what ten and three?
- 6:48Speaker 2: So it's pretty impressive what we've seen from this team.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Well, Ben Johnson's done a good job. He's done a
- 6:56Speaker 1: very good job. As you know, I'm always in favor
- 6:59Speaker 1: of hiring offensive coaches because this is an offensive league
- 7:05Speaker 1: first and foremost. Caleb Williams still isn't you know, he
- 7:11Speaker 1: still isn't consistent. Even today he was and I know
- 7:14Speaker 1: it was windy in Philadelphia, but his accuracy isn't as
- 7:19Speaker 1: a one yet. He's not at that level. Alex. I mean,
- 7:23Speaker 1: let's let's think about it. You know, I hate lists,
- 7:26Speaker 1: but let's just categorize him this way. I would put
- 7:31Speaker 1: only four quarterbacks in the super blue chip category, Patrick Mahomes,
- 7:36Speaker 1: Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, and Matthew Stafford. I mean, there's
- 7:43Speaker 1: a lot of good there's some good quarterbacks, but there's
- 7:47Speaker 1: a lot of quarterbacks that are that are in and out,
- 7:50Speaker 1: you know, inconsistent, and some of them are playing too early.
- 7:55Speaker 1: You know, they need to sit a little bit more.
- 7:57Speaker 1: But again, he got to play them because there's no
- 8:02Speaker 1: the backups are terrible. But look again, this week, guys
- 8:06Speaker 1: aren't gonna play. Guys are playing injured. Daniel Jones going
- 8:10Speaker 1: to play Sunday with a fracture in aphibia, I mean really,
- 8:17Speaker 1: I mean I know it might just be a cracked
- 8:19Speaker 1: He said he can play with the pain, But what
- 8:22Speaker 1: about what about if he gets hit blindsided and this
- 8:25Speaker 1: time totally breaks breaks his leg? I guess h Baker
- 8:32Speaker 1: Mayfield eighty five percent is gonna play with you know,
- 8:35Speaker 1: with an ACL joint that is only eighty percent. But
- 8:39Speaker 1: it looks like he's gonna play. Jackson Darts coming back
- 8:43Speaker 1: from concussion protocol. So is c J. Stroud? Uh, it's
- 8:47Speaker 1: really it's really hitting this league. Yeah.
- 8:53Speaker 2: No, I'm curious to see how they do coming back,
- 8:56Speaker 2: especially Jackson, because look, even though the season is done mathematically,
- 9:02Speaker 2: you still want to see what the kid's gotten them,
- 9:04Speaker 2: especially after this, because that's the future right there. You
- 9:06Speaker 2: still want to see how the future performs moving forward,
- 9:09Speaker 2: especially under Kafka, now that they're gonna name Kafka the
- 9:11Speaker 2: full time. But you never know, Louis, No, you never know.
- 9:15Speaker 2: You never know.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Absolutely a lot can happen between now and uh, the
- 9:20Speaker 1: the last weeks season.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Yeah, and you know.
- 9:26Speaker 1: These guys are playing to win. Anybody, you know, in
- 9:29Speaker 1: the NFL teams really do not tank like in the NBA,
- 9:32Speaker 1: which is I mean, we do a whole we could
- 9:35Speaker 1: do a whole show on uh the NBA tanking, which
- 9:38Speaker 1: has been in disgrace for a long time. But this
- 9:41Speaker 1: was but talking about the back to the NFL. You
- 9:46Speaker 1: just you just look at these games. Jayden Daniels is
- 9:50Speaker 1: playing this week, Pennex is not playing this week. It's unbelievable.
- 9:56Speaker 1: How many of these guys get hurt and uh, like
- 10:01Speaker 1: I said, it's so if somebody could tell me who's
- 10:03Speaker 1: gonna be playing on Super Bowl Sunday, they really could
- 10:06Speaker 1: tell me. I give him a lot of credit. They
- 10:10Speaker 1: could take a wild guest. Nobody knows Alex, nobody knows.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I mean, nobody picks Cincinnati, even with Borough coming back
- 10:17Speaker 1: to win in Baltimore last night, but they did and
- 10:22Speaker 1: they deserve to win.
- 10:23Speaker 2: The Giants oddly enough, still could put up enough points
- 10:27Speaker 2: to beat New England. I don't think they're gonna do it,
- 10:29Speaker 2: but they always even to put themselves in a position
- 10:31Speaker 2: where they can actually beat these teams, and then they
- 10:33Speaker 2: lose it within the last five minutes. So it's always amazing.
- 10:37Speaker 1: On the Patriots, Alex. Yeah, they might win Monday Night,
- 10:41Speaker 1: but I know they've won nine in a row. They're
- 10:43Speaker 1: on the streak, and they've done a great job. But
- 10:48Speaker 1: you know, I'm not sold that this is a great team.
- 10:52Speaker 1: I think it's a bad I think this year twenty
- 10:54Speaker 1: twenty five, Alex, I think it's a bad lead. I
- 10:57Speaker 1: really do. Right now, MS are head and shoulders over
- 11:01Speaker 1: everybody else as we leave this thank Thanksgiving weekend and
- 11:07Speaker 1: we go into this Thanksgiving weekend finish up on Sunday.
- 11:12Speaker 1: But I just think quality of play isn't great. But
- 11:16Speaker 1: you still got to go out there and win as
- 11:18Speaker 1: many games, as many games as he can. They're still
- 11:21Speaker 1: going to crown the Super Bowl champion come February, so
- 11:25Speaker 1: you want to get in there, but you might just look,
- 11:27Speaker 1: you might have a playoff with Jacksonville, which is so streaky,
- 11:32Speaker 1: so up and down. I remember you know, talk about
- 11:36Speaker 1: tanking Trevor Lawrence. You just have to go on sixteen
- 11:39Speaker 1: so they can draft Trevor Lawrence. Trevor Lawrence has been
- 11:43Speaker 1: just okay, that's all he's been in his NFL career.
- 11:48Speaker 1: And now you know, he's been in the league over
- 11:50Speaker 1: half a decade. So is he better and most? Yeah,
- 11:53Speaker 1: I would say he's better than most. But it's not
- 11:58Speaker 1: that he was supposed to be Burrow. He was supposed
- 12:01Speaker 1: to be Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes level, Stafford level. He's not.
- 12:08Speaker 1: And he it's not that the team he plays for
- 12:10Speaker 1: has been absolutely horrible, you know, like Zach Wilson playing
- 12:15Speaker 1: for the Jets, or where Donald or Daniel Jones playing
- 12:20Speaker 1: for the Giants. He played for a decent team. You know,
- 12:24Speaker 1: so again, but you look, you go back to, you know,
- 12:29Speaker 1: like today's Eagle game. The Bears rush for over two
- 12:33Speaker 1: hundred and seventy yards on him, kyleman Nungui, the great
- 12:37Speaker 1: Rutgers back rush for over one hundred twenty five yards.
- 12:40Speaker 1: DeAndre Swift over one hundred and twenty five yards. I think
- 12:43Speaker 1: it's the first time in eleven years that two backs
- 12:46Speaker 1: ran for over one hundred twenty five yards on the
- 12:48Speaker 1: same team. So the Eagles have issues. And again this
- 12:55Speaker 1: year proves that the New York Giants did the right
- 12:59Speaker 1: thing by not resigning Barkley. Joe Shane did the right thing. Yes,
- 13:04Speaker 1: Barkley was spectacular last year Offensive Player of the Year,
- 13:08Speaker 1: but this year three guys on the offensive line been
- 13:14Speaker 1: are in and out. They lost spectin to the Chargers.
- 13:19Speaker 1: He might look a little slow, he's not hearing that
- 13:21Speaker 1: hole like he did. But last year, Alex, the holes
- 13:23Speaker 1: was so big he was gone. He was gone the
- 13:26Speaker 1: one step what he got between the tackle and the guard,
- 13:31Speaker 1: or if he got outside, he's gonna go from over
- 13:35Speaker 1: two thousand yards to about twelve hundred eleven hundred yards
- 13:39Speaker 1: something like that. So it's one year, does not does
- 13:48Speaker 1: not mean anything that's gonna happen next year. Another thing,
- 13:51Speaker 1: we'll talk about these teams like like Tennessee, the Giants,
- 13:56Speaker 1: the Jets, the Raiders. All right, some of them have
- 14:00Speaker 1: six games left, some have five games left, because I
- 14:02Speaker 1: know some teams still have to have their bye week.
- 14:06Speaker 1: It's like just we'll just pick, We'll pick. We'll pick
- 14:08Speaker 1: my Jets. For a second. If the Jets go four
- 14:12Speaker 1: and to the rest of the way. That does not
- 14:14Speaker 1: carry over into next year. It does not. You know, Oh,
- 14:18Speaker 1: you want to think finish strong and carry over into
- 14:20Speaker 1: next year. They will tell you that as they win games.
- 14:23Speaker 1: But it doesn't, Alex, it doesn't. In nineteen seventy four,
- 14:27Speaker 1: the New York Jets won seven. They won their last
- 14:30Speaker 1: six games. They beat O. J. Simpson in Buffalo, they
- 14:32Speaker 1: beat they beat Miami who had who had won back
- 14:37Speaker 1: to back Super Bowls and were a favorite again, but
- 14:40Speaker 1: they lost the game in Oakland, the famous Sea of
- 14:43Speaker 1: Fans game. The Jets won six in a row. You
- 14:48Speaker 1: know what their record was in seventy five, Alex, three
- 14:50Speaker 1: and eleven.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Wow, that I did not know. See, that's why I
- 14:56Speaker 2: have you on for this historical references. By the way
- 14:59Speaker 2: the Jets, I mean, I feel like they still they're
- 15:03Speaker 2: gonna be struggling to the end of the season. And
- 15:06Speaker 2: how they decided a quarterback. I feel like it's every
- 15:08Speaker 2: week there's a toss up between who's gonna actually start
- 15:10Speaker 2: the week that week.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Well that obviously they gotta that's what they gotta fix.
- 15:17Speaker 1: They gotta get a quarterback. They excuse me, as I
- 15:19Speaker 1: told you again and again, they have to draft two quarterbacks.
- 15:23Speaker 1: I mean, I think all these teams should really draft
- 15:26Speaker 1: a quarterback because you never know when a guy's gonna
- 15:29Speaker 1: get tinged.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I feel like with a Gion Dumble, the same thing
- 15:32Speaker 2: every year. But I want to talk about the new
- 15:35Speaker 2: the new real team that I'm looking out for the
- 15:38Speaker 2: Chargers because I told you second year under Harbor, Herbert
- 15:43Speaker 2: Herbaugh dynamic would be fantastic, and they haven't disappointed. I mean,
- 15:47Speaker 2: that team can go places.
- 15:49Speaker 1: You know. I thought they actually would be better than they are.
- 15:52Speaker 1: But they lost their left tackle, they lost their right tackle,
- 15:56Speaker 1: they had other injuries. They'll be I mean, I they'll
- 16:01Speaker 1: be tough. I think they'll be tough down the stretch.
- 16:04Speaker 1: They do play the Cowboys, that'll be an interesting game.
- 16:07Speaker 1: There's a lot of interesting games still to be played.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Next Thursday night. On Thursday on Thursday Night Football, you
- 16:14Speaker 1: have the Cowboys playing at the Lions and must win
- 16:19Speaker 1: for both teams. If I mean, Tony Romo.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Keeps saying what if the if the Cowboys run out
- 16:24Speaker 2: or run the table? They went out they run. Hey,
- 16:27Speaker 2: I heard that term with the Cowboys running the table
- 16:30Speaker 2: in a long time. So something hats clicked and that
- 16:34Speaker 2: was a team, like the Eagles, had a lot of
- 16:35Speaker 2: off season and off the field controversy. You know, just
- 16:39Speaker 2: like what what's gonna happen with Michael?
- 16:41Speaker 1: Why they let them go?
- 16:42Speaker 2: Well, look at this team now, they look actually well
- 16:45Speaker 2: improved in a sense.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I know that they are. I mean, uh I
- 16:50Speaker 1: think I think uh Quinn win Williams helped them. I
- 16:54Speaker 1: don't you know, I think they did. They're just playing better.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I don't know if they can get if they can
- 16:59Speaker 1: make the playoffs outlets, I really I really don't. But uh,
- 17:03Speaker 1: you just you got you gotta take it week by week.
- 17:05Speaker 1: But I am shocked that the Detroit Lions are third
- 17:08Speaker 1: in a division, behind the Bears and behind behind the Packers.
- 17:13Speaker 1: To me, that is shocking. And uh, you know, David Ragno,
- 17:19Speaker 1: who retired, has come out of retirement to play center
- 17:22Speaker 1: in the role pro center who who retired at the
- 17:25Speaker 1: age of twenty nine. He's back because their offensive line,
- 17:28Speaker 1: which was dominant, has not been and uh you know
- 17:34Speaker 1: he's going to try to save them. So the last
- 17:37Speaker 1: six weeks will be interesting. It always is. Might come
- 17:40Speaker 1: down to the last day for a lot of these teams.
- 17:43Speaker 1: And we've seen some dramatic final days of the season
- 17:48Speaker 1: with h with the NFL, and it could happen again. Unfortunately,
- 17:53Speaker 1: the Jets and Giants will not be providing any of
- 17:56Speaker 1: that positive drama. So I remember.
- 18:02Speaker 2: When they first went to Week eighteen, there was like
- 18:04Speaker 2: ninety six scenarios that day. I feel like that's going
- 18:06Speaker 2: to be less now because even teams like the Commanders
- 18:10Speaker 2: are not the team's team that was last year. I
- 18:13Speaker 2: mean a lot of these dips were seeing in real
- 18:15Speaker 2: time and the other one I know that about last week.
- 18:19Speaker 2: But Vegas has collected. Vegas has you know, almost declined
- 18:23Speaker 2: from where they were, shocking because Pete Carroll's supposed to
- 18:28Speaker 2: bring them back to the top.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Pete Carroll might be one and done. He might be
- 18:32Speaker 1: one and done. They might I would be That would
- 18:36Speaker 1: not surprise me. That would not surprise me at all.
- 18:41Speaker 1: If he's if he's replaced at the end of the year,
- 18:46Speaker 1: he's provided really nothing. I know where they have a
- 18:49Speaker 1: bad offensive line and things of that nature. But a
- 18:54Speaker 1: coach has to help a team overcome those deficiencies. When
- 19:00Speaker 1: when a certain area, whether it's the secondary or whether
- 19:06Speaker 1: it's the defensive line, or it's the offensive line. Great
- 19:09Speaker 1: coaches help overcome those deficiencies, whether it's through injury or
- 19:14Speaker 1: just by lack of talent. So I just think he
- 19:18Speaker 1: might be he may not. He may not be here,
- 19:23Speaker 1: you know, on the sidelines next year. I mean, hey,
- 19:25Speaker 1: he's a great coach, but he's also seventy three, seventy
- 19:29Speaker 1: four years olds. Well, we've got to see where that
- 19:31Speaker 1: where that goes.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Someone asks me today Bill Belichick would ever come up here?
- 19:35Speaker 2: You know, that would be an interesting reunion if he
- 19:37Speaker 2: was with the Giants. But I don't know. Do you
- 19:38Speaker 2: see that happening?
- 19:39Speaker 1: No, And I can tell you. I can tell you why.
- 19:42Speaker 1: This is what I heard from somebody who's very, very
- 19:45Speaker 1: close to the situation. There is sandpaper between the New
- 19:52Speaker 1: York Giants and Bill Belichick. It goes back to when
- 19:58Speaker 1: they hired what they excuse me, when they fired Joe Judge.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Belichick was not happy about it. But that's not his business.
- 20:08Speaker 1: That's the New York Giants business. Because Joe Judge was
- 20:12Speaker 1: one of his guys, and so he made a He
- 20:19Speaker 1: texted Brian Flores, who was who interviewed for the Giant job. Hey, Brian, congratulations,
- 20:25Speaker 1: I heard you got the job. With the Giants. He
- 20:29Speaker 1: texted Belchick back, I didn't get it, but you talk,
- 20:33Speaker 1: I got it. I haven't gotten a call from the Giants.
- 20:36Speaker 1: So that guy out there, he made it. He tried
- 20:40Speaker 1: to make the Giants look foolish and that was all
- 20:44Speaker 1: because he was pissed off that they fired Joe Judge.
- 20:49Speaker 1: And last year for the Giants had as you know,
- 20:52Speaker 1: it was there one hundredth anniversary and they had some
- 20:56Speaker 1: events during the season bringing back all player there's some
- 21:00Speaker 1: of the players who won Super Bowls for them and
- 21:03Speaker 1: individual awards. But Parcells came to an event. Belichick did
- 21:09Speaker 1: not get an invite. They didn't want They did not
- 21:11Speaker 1: want him around because he was a defensive coordinator on
- 21:14Speaker 1: the eighty six and ninety Super Bowl winning teams. So
- 21:20Speaker 1: there's there's bad blood there.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Oh man. I mean it was interesting because I saw
- 21:26Speaker 2: Parcels at the Legends event in Juno last year, and
- 21:30Speaker 2: I think he mentioned Belichick club as his as his
- 21:33Speaker 2: guy defense. And actually, what I didn't know is Coughland
- 21:37Speaker 2: was also on that staff as well under Parcels, so
- 21:42Speaker 2: they really kept it in house. But I don't know
- 21:45Speaker 2: now he said about this Belichick rift I'm not surprised
- 21:48Speaker 2: that they wouldn't bring him back, but it makes the
- 21:50Speaker 2: question who they will, because I feel like the coaching
- 21:52Speaker 2: pool is so lackluster right now.
- 21:57Speaker 1: It really it really is Alex.
- 21:59Speaker 3: You know.
- 21:59Speaker 1: The funny thing is, you know, you know the story
- 22:01Speaker 1: about Lane Kiffin is going to make his decision tomorrow
- 22:04Speaker 1: whether he's going to LSU or staying at the University
- 22:06Speaker 1: of Mississippi, where he should stay in my opinion, but
- 22:13Speaker 1: Joe judges on the University of Mississippi staff, So if
- 22:18Speaker 1: he goes to LSU, they said on a telecast today,
- 22:22Speaker 1: the ABC telecast today that they're not obviously they're not
- 22:26Speaker 1: going to let Lane Kiffin a coach the playoff game
- 22:32Speaker 1: which Mississippi will get in. They said the guy who
- 22:37Speaker 1: would probably replace him as the interramad coach for the
- 22:41Speaker 1: playoff is Joe Judge. How about that? No, get love that,
- 22:49Speaker 1: you know, I know it's crazy.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Now, there was a monk in that was featured yesterday,
- 22:55Speaker 2: by the way, and there was a monk in an
- 22:57Speaker 2: army Is it the same guy or a different monkin?
- 23:00Speaker 1: They I they might be related, but it's not. I mean,
- 23:04Speaker 1: army head coach is still Jeff Munkin. Yeah, I think
- 23:08Speaker 1: they related. I think I think they are related. I
- 23:11Speaker 1: can't say for sure, but he's he is. Todd Munkin
- 23:14Speaker 1: is a very very respected offensive coordinator at both the
- 23:19Speaker 1: college and pro level.
- 23:21Speaker 3: So, but.
- 23:25Speaker 1: The Ravens.
- 23:26Speaker 2: By the way, that's the case with Lane Kiffin, you know,
- 23:29Speaker 2: that's what happened with Kelly. He didn't coach the Bowl
- 23:32Speaker 2: game eight because he's he's spinelessly left her name. I mean,
- 23:37Speaker 2: just it was so spineless. And uh, I think that's
- 23:40Speaker 2: where Morgan Morgan where Marcus Freeman got his start, because
- 23:44Speaker 2: he was the interim then and they got they ended
- 23:46Speaker 2: the full time.
- 23:47Speaker 1: So yeah, so it's just it's just it's just crazy.
- 23:53Speaker 1: But I don't know where who John's gonna go for
- 23:55Speaker 1: head coach. I really don't know obviously. Uh you know,
- 23:58Speaker 1: well know, first of all, a lot of a lot
- 24:00Speaker 1: more many more coaches gonna be fired. Well it used
- 24:05Speaker 1: to be Black Monday, but uh now we know usually
- 24:09Speaker 1: on Sunday night. There's always one or two head coaches
- 24:12Speaker 1: get fired on uh a Sunday night, that last Sunday
- 24:16Speaker 1: of the of the of the year.
- 24:20Speaker 2: The shamee Bowen thing, though, I mean they waited five
- 24:22Speaker 2: weeks to eight, five games too late to fire him.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Why they wait so long? Well, again, maybe if if
- 24:32Speaker 1: Dexter Lawrence and Thibodeau and played better, and maybe if
- 24:38Speaker 1: abdel Carter showed up. He's been an absolute rookie bust.
- 24:44Speaker 1: I'm not saying he's gonna be a bust for his career,
- 24:46Speaker 1: but he's been a rookie bust. Maybe he wouldn't have
- 24:50Speaker 1: gotten fired. You know, it's not always on the coach,
- 24:55Speaker 1: you know, so, but I guess, yeah, they could have.
- 24:57Speaker 1: They could have fired Shane Bowen could have They could
- 25:00Speaker 1: have done it a couple of weeks earlier. Uh, they
- 25:04Speaker 1: could have done it when they fired Dable, They could
- 25:06Speaker 1: have Kafka could have fired him right away. I mean,
- 25:09Speaker 1: he's he's the boss. So I'm sure he could have
- 25:11Speaker 1: done it if he felt that. Uh. Uh you know,
- 25:16Speaker 1: but he didn't. He didn't fumble against Chicago. Uh you know,
- 25:20Speaker 1: dark did you know Bowen didn't do it? Uh? He
- 25:24Speaker 1: was that was an offensive player who did it. I'm
- 25:28Speaker 1: just using that as one example. I'm not looking to
- 25:31Speaker 1: to bash the kid because the kid's been excellent obviously,
- 25:37Speaker 1: you know. Now, does he get blamed for abdull Carter
- 25:41Speaker 1: not not concentrating on his craft.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Is that on him?
- 25:47Speaker 1: Is that on Is that on Dable now, Kafka, I.
- 25:50Speaker 4: Don't know, you know, uh, all right, I agree Joe
- 25:58Speaker 4: Shane should say because I think he has set up
- 26:01Speaker 4: such a great core right now with Leak, elite neighbors.
- 26:06Speaker 2: I'll do harder on the defense. But I mean the
- 26:07Speaker 2: elite neighbors, Dark and Scatt, those are all his guys
- 26:11Speaker 2: and if they can win a championship, that will be
- 26:13Speaker 2: his team.
- 26:14Speaker 1: He said, so far away from a championship, they do
- 26:16Speaker 1: not have a great core. Need to do the Jets,
- 26:19Speaker 1: they don't. I mean the Giants is the Giants offensive
- 26:25Speaker 1: line has done has improved so and you got to
- 26:30Speaker 1: give him credit. He did trade up to get Dark.
- 26:33Speaker 1: You gotta get Shane credit for that. Like I said,
- 26:36Speaker 1: I don't think Blue Carter is going to be a bust.
- 26:39Speaker 1: But he's a first year bus But many guys in
- 26:41Speaker 1: their first year, you know, don't don't hit the ground running.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I thought he would. I thought he would be the
- 26:49Speaker 1: defensive player, defensive rookie of the year. So but again
- 26:54Speaker 1: he was more interested on going to Monday Night Row
- 26:57Speaker 1: with the championship belt over his shoulder. Uh, actually the
- 27:01Speaker 1: day he got the day after they sat now laps
- 27:05Speaker 1: that first series, Alex, that's a bad look for the guy.
- 27:09Speaker 1: So I don't know how dedicated the guy.
- 27:10Speaker 2: It was very odd that a guy that's recovering from footing,
- 27:14Speaker 2: you know, for that is dangerous.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Yeah, that dangerous.
- 27:18Speaker 2: But again he's an eccentric kid. But that that takes
- 27:21Speaker 2: it too far from me, so you know.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Yeah, no, and again, uh, the guy want the guy
- 27:26Speaker 1: wants to win. He's a hard runner. He plays to win.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Just you know, he's and again remember he's a kid. Yeah,
- 27:36Speaker 1: he's he's a kid. He's out of it. You know,
- 27:38Speaker 1: he's's mature a little bit. And you know we see
- 27:43Speaker 1: this on in all sports for you know, but the
- 27:48Speaker 1: jihnts and another good draft. The one thing is, Alex,
- 27:51Speaker 1: the one thing is there's no reason why these teams
- 27:54Speaker 1: that are two and nine, two and ten, one and nine,
- 27:58Speaker 1: why they can't make at least the seventh spot next
- 28:02Speaker 1: year because it changes year to year.
- 28:06Speaker 2: There's none of the good guns something this year if
- 28:08Speaker 2: they won those five four or five games, I mean,
- 28:10Speaker 2: they would have been there and they would have been
- 28:12Speaker 2: right there.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Well again, a lot of teams could a lot of
- 28:15Speaker 1: teams could say that. But yeah, there are some games
- 28:17Speaker 1: that the Giants had in their pocket that they.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Just let go. Was time and time again.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Yeah, the Dallas game Detroit last week. By the way,
- 28:31Speaker 1: this will go on to what This is not only
- 28:33Speaker 1: what the Giants, this is the entire league. The Giants
- 28:36Speaker 1: are up, the Giants are up by three thirty seven
- 28:41Speaker 1: to thirty four, and they go for from the three
- 28:44Speaker 1: yard line, kick the field goal. All right, your defense
- 28:47Speaker 1: isn't good, but let them go for the touchdown. Detroit
- 28:51Speaker 1: got to the forty one yard line and the guy
- 28:53Speaker 1: kicks a fifty nine yard field goal tie the game.
- 28:55Speaker 1: And then Jamiir Gibbs, who's a fantastically under rated running back,
- 29:02Speaker 1: he's so underrated, you know, popped up the middle and
- 29:05Speaker 1: went for that first touchdown. But they should have got
- 29:07Speaker 1: they should have gone to the field goal. We saw
- 29:09Speaker 1: it in We saw it in the the Dallas Philly game.
- 29:15Speaker 1: They both went for it at times that they that
- 29:18Speaker 1: they shouldn't. Dallas say, if they come back from twenty
- 29:21Speaker 1: one to nothing, have fourth down at the at the
- 29:25Speaker 1: Philly three or four yard line. And dak hits cet
- 29:29Speaker 1: Lamb between the eight and the eight and he drops it.
- 29:32Speaker 1: But he needed a field goal there. I mean they
- 29:34Speaker 1: got lucky. They got the ball back and they got
- 29:36Speaker 1: the field goal to win the game. But I don't
- 29:41Speaker 1: I analytics, Alex to my date, my day ten years ago,
- 29:46Speaker 1: in your day eleven years you would never see that
- 29:49Speaker 1: they were at the field goal. The Jets are down
- 29:51Speaker 1: ten to seven. I know that's going They're going nowhere,
- 29:54Speaker 1: but you do play to win the game. Six and
- 29:57Speaker 1: a half minutes to go in the third quarter, fourth
- 29:59Speaker 1: and two, had your own forty two forty six. I
- 30:02Speaker 1: believe it was forty six. He decides to go for
- 30:05Speaker 1: it and Justin Field is clueless, and of course the
- 30:11Speaker 1: fourth down play one, right, I don't get it. I'm
- 30:14Speaker 1: watching the Eagles and the Bears today. The Bears are
- 30:19Speaker 1: up twenty four to nine, and they were the better
- 30:21Speaker 1: team today by far. But the Eagles score, you know,
- 30:27Speaker 1: touchdown pass two to AJ Brown. You know he got
- 30:30Speaker 1: not He had like fourteen talks today, so AJ Brown
- 30:33Speaker 1: probably is happy. He probably doesn't give a crap that
- 30:37Speaker 1: his team lost, but he has two touchdowns, so they
- 30:40Speaker 1: make it twenty four out of fifteen, so they're nine
- 30:42Speaker 1: points down. Syrianny goes for a two point conversion. You
- 30:47Speaker 1: don't go for the two point conversion there, you kick
- 30:51Speaker 1: the field, you kick the extra point to make a
- 30:53Speaker 1: twenty four to sixteen because you're one score behind, they
- 30:57Speaker 1: go for two. They don't get it. So they had
- 31:01Speaker 1: nine points behind, like with you know, with less than
- 31:04Speaker 1: five minutes to go, and so then they try the
- 31:08Speaker 1: on side kicking. With these new on side kick rules,
- 31:10Speaker 1: your chances of recovering it are are less than ever
- 31:14Speaker 1: even with the original on side kick rules. You didn't have.
- 31:18Speaker 1: It was a low percentage play, but there was three
- 31:21Speaker 1: tends to go in the game, and you kick thee
- 31:25Speaker 1: you play defense. They still had a couple of timeouts left.
- 31:29Speaker 1: I don't know why you go for two there. First
- 31:32Speaker 1: of all, it changes the mindset of the players on
- 31:35Speaker 1: the field. Their mental mindset. Oh, we're nine down, it's
- 31:38Speaker 1: really impossible. We need we got we need two scores.
- 31:42Speaker 1: But if it's twenty four to sixteen, okay, we gotta
- 31:46Speaker 1: get the ball back. We'll score and then we have
- 31:47Speaker 1: a chance to the two point conversion. We get two
- 31:50Speaker 1: pointed version, we'll tie the game. I don't I don't
- 31:53Speaker 1: know why they went for the two point conversion. And
- 31:57Speaker 1: you see that all the time, so it's not only Syrian.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I don't know. These guys out think themselves. It's just crazy,
- 32:10Speaker 1: it really is. But I you know, I have no
- 32:13Speaker 1: idea what's gonna happen. You know you got the Buffalo Bills, Alex,
- 32:17Speaker 1: they can stop Mayo U. Their run defense is so bad.
- 32:22Speaker 2: By the way, it's funny about Philly, right, so last
- 32:24Speaker 2: year they win the ring, but it's like a New
- 32:26Speaker 2: York sports town there too, so the reporters and the
- 32:30Speaker 2: media is probably gonna be like, what the hell, I know,
- 32:32Speaker 2: we just won last year, but let's fire Siriotti, like
- 32:35Speaker 2: you what are those chimps are gonna start?
- 32:36Speaker 1: Well, I think you're You're probably right, and uh.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Not even Santa State today or and he left early,
- 32:43Speaker 2: so you know, a rough day in Philly, that's for sure.
- 32:48Speaker 2: But no, I'm uh it's a little bit of a shocker.
- 32:54Speaker 2: But also show as the Chiefs. So I think we're
- 32:56Speaker 2: gona have a totally different Super Bowl next year. I
- 32:58Speaker 2: don't think both teams are gonna be in it. I
- 33:00Speaker 2: think we're gonna have ooh I mean den can't really
- 33:06Speaker 2: compete now, that's for sure, I know, but Denver looks
- 33:10Speaker 2: like a leading candidate right now to be on the
- 33:13Speaker 2: AFC side, at least versus Well I said, I think.
- 33:16Speaker 2: I said, Denver versus New England would make an interesting
- 33:19Speaker 2: AFC championship game.
- 33:20Speaker 1: I would watch that game. Yeah, I mean, it's not
- 33:25Speaker 1: Peyton Manning against Tom Brady like in two thousand and uh,
- 33:29Speaker 1: you know, fifteen sixteen.
- 33:31Speaker 2: But I'm not I'm not a I'm not a Patriot fan,
- 33:35Speaker 2: but I can appreciate what Drake May has done up there,
- 33:38Speaker 2: Like it is amazing to watch that turnaround for that team.
- 33:41Speaker 2: A because he's just a great quarterback. I mean I
- 33:43Speaker 2: say that if there's any team, He's got a great
- 33:46Speaker 2: poise about him. It's interesting to watch him for a
- 33:49Speaker 2: second year guy.
- 33:49Speaker 1: He has great poise, he does. He also has a
- 33:52Speaker 1: great offensive coordinator. But Alex, he doesn't have great plays
- 33:55Speaker 1: around him. And that's what makes it more impressive. He's
- 34:00Speaker 1: the Patriots are going to put skill position players around
- 34:04Speaker 1: him to make him better. Now they might be without
- 34:07Speaker 1: the left side of their line on Monday night, so well,
- 34:13Speaker 1: you know, again, it changes we tweak Campbell's out for
- 34:16Speaker 1: at least the next four games. They're left tackle a
- 34:19Speaker 1: guy who protects his blind side, so everything changes. I'm
- 34:27Speaker 1: not sold on them, but they've done and not a
- 34:31Speaker 1: good job, like you said, they've done a spectacular job.
- 34:34Speaker 2: And Okay, I want to switch gears because I don't
- 34:36Speaker 2: know if you saw my monologue earlier in the week
- 34:38Speaker 2: about Brend and Nimo, and I want to get your
- 34:41Speaker 2: thoughts on this. Uh huh. But Nimo is the third
- 34:44Speaker 2: guy that really said, Okay, I spent a lot of
- 34:47Speaker 2: time here with this team. I've gave him my heart,
- 34:50Speaker 2: sweat and tears, but I have to move along by
- 34:53Speaker 2: simply rejecting the note, by simply opting for the no
- 34:57Speaker 2: trade clause and waving it. Really, he made that decision
- 35:01Speaker 2: like Crider did. And I don't know if Tavaris did
- 35:03Speaker 2: to an extent, but I feel like he had to
- 35:05Speaker 2: say whether he was gonna stay.
- 35:06Speaker 1: No, No, he was just a free agent. He screwed the
- 35:09Speaker 1: Islanders at the end. The Islanders should have traded them
- 35:11Speaker 1: at the trade deadline if lamorel If Lou Lamorello was there,
- 35:15Speaker 1: he would have done that.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Well, all three of these guys, I mentioned sort of
- 35:19Speaker 2: said it was time to move along and maybe they
- 35:22Speaker 2: were getting too old for all of the way these
- 35:24Speaker 2: these teams were operating. I mean, I feel like these
- 35:28Speaker 2: three are examples of how New York is losing its
- 35:32Speaker 2: staying power. Except Aaron judge that you signed a nine
- 35:35Speaker 2: year deal, But for the most part, they're losing their
- 35:38Speaker 2: staying power. How do we get back to a city
- 35:39Speaker 2: that people want to play in long term career players.
- 35:43Speaker 2: I'm talking lifetime career players, Louis. I feel like we're
- 35:46Speaker 2: losing that aspect.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I think for the most part, we all loved
- 35:50Speaker 1: United in sports, No why usually plays their entire career
- 35:56Speaker 1: with one team anymore, no matter what the sport is.
- 36:00Speaker 1: You talk about a guy like John Tavares, he went
- 36:03Speaker 1: to Toronto. Toronto and Montreal are the two toughest teams,
- 36:07Speaker 1: excuse me, the two toughest towns to play in as
- 36:10Speaker 1: far as media scrutiny and the Leafs are under a microscope.
- 36:19Speaker 1: By the way, John Tavares is having not a good
- 36:21Speaker 1: year this year. He is the best player on the
- 36:23Speaker 1: Maple Leafs. So far this year, He's been tremendous. He's
- 36:27Speaker 1: a future Hall of Famer, he's gone over five hundred goals,
- 36:31Speaker 1: and he re signed I believe it or not. His
- 36:34Speaker 1: first seven year contract finished last year and he signed
- 36:39Speaker 1: with back with Toronto at a significant discount to stay
- 36:42Speaker 1: in Toronto. Toronto. As far as Brandon Nemo goes, I
- 36:47Speaker 1: don't like the trade. I really don't. I'm not saying
- 36:51Speaker 1: that I want to put Nimo in the trade. They
- 36:54Speaker 1: wanted to get younger and more athletic. Well, he might
- 36:59Speaker 1: be an upgrade defense, believe Marcus Simeon. And he's a
- 37:01Speaker 1: former top three MVP in two separate seasons, but the
- 37:05Speaker 1: last two years have been some par as far as
- 37:08Speaker 1: offensively goes. But he's a he's a plus defender and
- 37:13Speaker 1: they're looking to upgrade the defense of the Mets. And
- 37:19Speaker 1: there you know. David Sterns is big on run prevention. Yes,
- 37:22Speaker 1: run prevention is important. I do believe that, but you
- 37:27Speaker 1: also have to score runs. And Brandon Nimo the last
- 37:30Speaker 1: two years drove a ninety and ninety two runs. He
- 37:33Speaker 1: gets on base, he always has a high on base percentage.
- 37:37Speaker 1: He's three years younger than Marcus Simeon, So that was
- 37:41Speaker 1: curious to me, Alex. I never expected the trade. Who
- 37:45Speaker 1: he got trade for if he was included in a
- 37:48Speaker 1: deal for Strubel to reach Strubel a pitcher for Detroit
- 37:52Speaker 1: who is going to be a free agency agent at
- 37:55Speaker 1: the end of twenty twenty six. I do not. I
- 37:58Speaker 1: mean Barrig miracle. He is not going to resign with Detroit.
- 38:02Speaker 1: I could see something like that. I was really hoping
- 38:07Speaker 1: that the Mets would go after Dante vischett as a
- 38:10Speaker 1: free agent and put him at second base. And he's
- 38:12Speaker 1: twenty seven years old, and he's a better player than
- 38:15Speaker 1: Marcus Simeon. So I'm well, while I I'm not gonna
- 38:20Speaker 1: judge this trade until the Mets offseason is complete. They
- 38:27Speaker 1: got to get a center fielder. They got to get
- 38:29Speaker 1: a left fielder. We hear that they're interested in Bellinger.
- 38:32Speaker 1: We hear that they're interested in Kyle Tucker. I don't
- 38:35Speaker 1: think they get both, but they'll probably get one Kyle.
- 38:38Speaker 1: If you ask me which one I take. While I
- 38:40Speaker 1: love Belencher's versatility, I would rather have Kyle Tucker. He's younger,
- 38:46Speaker 1: he's more productive offensively. I don't know if I'm starting
- 38:52Speaker 1: to believe the Mets are not going to resign Peter
- 38:55Speaker 1: A Lonzo Alex, I really am so, but I'm not
- 38:58Speaker 1: gonna I'm not going to uh give a final grade
- 39:02Speaker 1: until the postseason signing to roll over.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, no, and I will. I will say this though,
- 39:11Speaker 2: Nimo waving the trade click trade Club no trade close,
- 39:15Speaker 2: told me he had seen how the internal operations is working.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Maybe he's not happy. And as someone's that have sterns,
- 39:21Speaker 2: one of them gone. I guess you just said, okay,
- 39:23Speaker 2: I'll leave. You know, It's just it's it's a very
- 39:26Speaker 2: disappointing split. I did not expect him to be gone.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Like I said, I'm not surprised he was traded, because
- 39:33Speaker 1: anybody can get traded, but I'm surprised was traded for
- 39:38Speaker 1: that's all that that surprised me.
- 39:43Speaker 2: But yeah, the off season has been kind of dead
- 39:46Speaker 2: right now. I mean, nothing crazy has been going on,
- 39:48Speaker 2: So we'll have to see what happens, you know, and
- 39:51Speaker 2: Boris guys normally don't sign now till opening till trading
- 39:54Speaker 2: spring training, so I'm not surprised.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Well, when the meetings, the winter meetings start, you know,
- 39:59Speaker 1: ord December tenth, we'll hear something there. I do not
- 40:04Speaker 1: understand the signing the other day, by the American League
- 40:09Speaker 1: champion Toronto Blue Jays signing a very mediocre pitcher coming
- 40:13Speaker 1: off a bad year, Dylan Cees, to a thirty million
- 40:19Speaker 1: dollars deal for seven years, two hundred and ten million dollars.
- 40:24Speaker 1: I don't get it. I mean, if they if it
- 40:27Speaker 1: was a three year deal at twenty five okay, but
- 40:32Speaker 1: a seven year deal at a total of two hundred
- 40:35Speaker 1: and ten million, the Toronto Blue Jays will be kicking
- 40:39Speaker 1: themselves with that. I really believe that.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it was. It was a bit of a shocker.
- 40:46Speaker 2: I thought they were doing it to bolster their rotation.
- 40:48Speaker 2: But we'll have to see what happens for them in
- 40:51Speaker 2: that signing.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Now.
- 40:51Speaker 2: I thought it was a pretty big signing. Actually, that
- 40:53Speaker 2: just fell under the radar, so right now, it did.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Fell It did fall under the radars. It absolutely fell
- 40:58Speaker 1: under the radar.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Well, Louis, I always love to be all around the
- 41:02Speaker 2: time of the year because Thanksgiving history lesson and I
- 41:06Speaker 2: know the people may have listened last year. What's your
- 41:09Speaker 2: favorite Thanksgiving memory?
- 41:11Speaker 1: Though?
- 41:11Speaker 2: For those listening for the first time, NFL will on
- 41:16Speaker 2: the NFL, Yes, sir, Well, in.
- 41:18Speaker 1: The NFL, there was there's been some not some as
- 41:24Speaker 1: far as memorable games, but yesterday's Dallas Kannessee game was
- 41:28Speaker 1: not a classic, but it was a very entertaining game
- 41:33Speaker 1: between the two biggest brands in the NFL, and CBS
- 41:36Speaker 1: is hoping to try to hit fifty million. The ratings
- 41:39Speaker 1: haven't come out yet, so we'll see how high or
- 41:42Speaker 1: how close they got to fifty million viewers. And that
- 41:45Speaker 1: was a close game all the way, so they might
- 41:47Speaker 1: they might have hit fifty million viewers, which would be
- 41:50Speaker 1: an old time NFL regular season record. But I mean
- 41:54Speaker 1: there's been some, you know, some great some great moments.
- 42:00Speaker 1: I guess the best game as far as drama goes
- 42:05Speaker 1: in nineteen seventy four. I guess it was nineteen seventy four. Yes,
- 42:10Speaker 1: Clint Longley, the backup to Roger Stawback, has fifteen minutes
- 42:15Speaker 1: of fame. Roger was injured early in the game. I
- 42:20Speaker 1: think they were down like sixteen to nothing or sixteen
- 42:22Speaker 1: to three to their biggest rivals. Then now it's the Eagles,
- 42:26Speaker 1: then it was the it was the Washington Redskins. And
- 42:31Speaker 1: he threw two touchdown passes late. I believe one long
- 42:35Speaker 1: down the left sideline to Pearson. I might have been Pearson,
- 42:39Speaker 1: but all you know, they had so many great receivers
- 42:42Speaker 1: and they won seventeen to sixteen, and that was his
- 42:44Speaker 1: fifteen minutes of fame. In nineteen seventy six, O. J.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Simpson ran for I then wreckord to seventy three against
- 42:53Speaker 1: the Lions in the Superdome, which no longer exists. But
- 42:58Speaker 1: they lost the game, and because they couldn't complete the pass.
- 43:03Speaker 1: I think Gary Morange was like four for twenty five
- 43:05Speaker 1: or something like that. Then, of course there's the famous
- 43:09Speaker 1: leon Let game in the snow I guess it was
- 43:12Speaker 1: in ninety three, and I remember I remember watching that game.
- 43:16Speaker 1: It was just unbelievable. Miami's going for the game winning
- 43:21Speaker 1: field goal down fourteen to thirteen, and that the Cowboys
- 43:26Speaker 1: blocked the kick, but the ball rolls passed the line
- 43:29Speaker 1: of scrimmage. So once he goes past the line of scrimmage,
- 43:33Speaker 1: the team that blocked the kick should not touch the football.
- 43:38Speaker 1: And it was a snowy field in Dallas, and led
- 43:44Speaker 1: touched it and Miami recovered, so it was a change
- 43:48Speaker 1: of possession. So Janovitch Panovitch came in again. This time
- 43:52Speaker 1: he kicked the twenty yard field goal and Dallas lost
- 43:56Speaker 1: sixteen to fourteen. They went to the Super Bowl again,
- 43:58Speaker 1: they won it. But that's just thank Giving Day situation,
- 44:04Speaker 1: you know. And you know, a couple of years in
- 44:06Speaker 1: seventy five and in seventy seven, Saint Louis hosted the
- 44:10Speaker 1: late game, not Dallas. And in seventy seven Bob Greasi
- 44:18Speaker 1: threw six touchdown passes and they scored like fifty five
- 44:21Speaker 1: points on Saint Louis. And from seven day eight on,
- 44:25Speaker 1: Dallas has has had the the you know, the four
- 44:29Speaker 1: o'clock on now four to thirty game on Thanksgiving. They
- 44:35Speaker 1: lobbied for it in the early sixties. I mean, it
- 44:37Speaker 1: was just it was just Detroit hosted from thirty four on.
- 44:43Speaker 1: And I think the only time Idion host it was
- 44:45Speaker 1: a couple of years during World War Two. For thirteen years,
- 44:51Speaker 1: thirteen years, I believe Green Bay and Detroit played every
- 44:56Speaker 1: year on Thanksgiving.
- 44:57Speaker 2: And yeah, I remember that.
- 45:01Speaker 1: And so that was from fifty one to sixty three.
- 45:05Speaker 1: And then in sixty two the Packers were ten and oh,
- 45:08Speaker 1: I didn't see this, Alex, I didn't see this game
- 45:11Speaker 1: in sixty two, but there were ten and oh, it's
- 45:15Speaker 1: a famous game. The Lions pounded arch Star, the Hall
- 45:20Speaker 1: of Fame quarterback. It was probably the sixty two team
- 45:23Speaker 1: arguably was probably the best of all the Lombardi teams.
- 45:27Speaker 1: They sacked Barchstar eleven times, and Lombardi says, I don't
- 45:34Speaker 1: want to play on Thanksgiving Day anymore. You know, I'll
- 45:36Speaker 1: play here in Detroit anymore. They did have one more
- 45:39Speaker 1: year to go and in sixty three, but then Lombardi
- 45:43Speaker 1: got his way and didn't play on Thanksgiving Day for
- 45:45Speaker 1: the rest of his coaching career. I believe so. Then.
- 45:48Speaker 1: But Dallas when they came in a league in sixty
- 45:51Speaker 1: sixty one, a couple of years in they lobbied to
- 45:56Speaker 1: play on Thanksgiving. And in nineteen sixty six they played
- 46:01Speaker 1: for the first time. And that was the first year
- 46:04Speaker 1: Dallas was any good. That's the first year they actually
- 46:07Speaker 1: were over five hundred. And they lost the NFL Championship
- 46:11Speaker 1: game new to green Bay in the cotton Ball thirty
- 46:14Speaker 1: four to twenty seven in a spectacular game, which is
- 46:17Speaker 1: spectacular ending. And then the next year was the famous
- 46:19Speaker 1: Ice Bowl where green Bay won on with you know,
- 46:25Speaker 1: thirteen seconds to go, and uh but that that that
- 46:31Speaker 1: was That was a f That was a fame. That
- 46:33Speaker 1: was a famous game too. But yeah, so that and
- 46:36Speaker 1: then you know they started about they start about eighteen,
- 46:39Speaker 1: well two thousand and six, I guess first on the
- 46:41Speaker 1: NFL network. Uh you know, now it's on Prime Video.
- 46:45Speaker 1: I mean now it's on NBC. Excuse me with the
- 46:50Speaker 1: with the night game and that and the teams.
- 46:52Speaker 5: Rotate, but uh, you know, it's it's football football on
- 46:57Speaker 5: We did venture to see the Jets play of the
- 47:00Speaker 5: Bengals in one of the first Thursday night Thanksgiving games.
- 47:04Speaker 2: I forget that because that was we actually just got
- 47:07Speaker 2: tickets right outside the stadium and rolled right in and
- 47:09Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, we were watching football on Thanksgiving. So
- 47:12Speaker 2: that was really a special And that was the.
- 47:13Speaker 1: Second year that the Jets went to theay AFC Championship game. Then,
- 47:17Speaker 1: of course, a couple of years later they got killed
- 47:18Speaker 1: by New Englant forty nine nineteen the overrated butt fumble,
- 47:24Speaker 1: which is not a big deal, but you know, just
- 47:25Speaker 1: he just ran into a guy. New England scored like
- 47:29Speaker 1: three touchdowns in two minutes.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Well he growing up for me, watching Barry Sanders every
- 47:35Speaker 2: Thanksgiving was sort of a tradition. I mean, he was
- 47:38Speaker 2: there in the nineties, and I remember watching him pretty
- 47:40Speaker 2: pretty closely back in those arabatic on things. Heving he
- 47:44Speaker 2: only Thanksgiving sometimes actually, but no.
- 47:47Speaker 1: He was great back Obviously, there was a long stretch
- 47:50Speaker 1: and I forget if it was eight or nine losses
- 47:52Speaker 1: in a row for the for the home team Detroit
- 47:56Speaker 1: on thanks on Thanksgiving Day, I mean, and I think
- 48:00Speaker 1: pay Manning one year when he was still with Indy
- 48:02Speaker 1: before he went to Denver, he threw six stup jump
- 48:05Speaker 1: passes in Detroit and killed them. And but that's why, Yes,
- 48:10Speaker 1: they were so disappointing for for Detroit. Now, you know
- 48:14Speaker 1: they are considered to be a big team, and you
- 48:17Speaker 1: know they have Let's face it, they shouldn't have been
- 48:20Speaker 1: the Giants. They should have lost to the Giants. They
- 48:26Speaker 1: you know, did save them with there were those amazing
- 48:29Speaker 1: runs and they needed a fifty nine yard field goal
- 48:32Speaker 1: to get the game the overtime. Yeah. I know, these
- 48:34Speaker 1: guys have atomic legs, but still a fifty nine yard
- 48:36Speaker 1: field goal, even if indoors is a fifty nine yard
- 48:39Speaker 1: field goal. Yeah. So then now now after Thanksgiving, now
- 48:45Speaker 1: we're truly in a stretch round of the NFL season.
- 48:48Speaker 1: The best college game on Thanksgiving was in nineteen seventy
- 48:52Speaker 1: one when Nebraska and Oklahoma won two. They both played
- 48:56Speaker 1: in the same conference, then the Big Eight, then it
- 48:58Speaker 1: became the Big Twelve, and there were so many great
- 49:02Speaker 1: players on both those teams and Johnny Rodgers Heisman Trophy winner.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Nebraska beat Oklahoma in Oklahoma thirty five to thirty one.
- 49:14Speaker 1: That was probably as good a college game as I
- 49:18Speaker 1: ever saw. That was on Thanksgiving. It was early. It
- 49:20Speaker 1: was like a one or two o'clock kickoff on ABC.
- 49:26Speaker 1: And yeah, that was a phenomenal game. That was one
- 49:29Speaker 1: of the best college games of all time. The eighty
- 49:31Speaker 1: four Orange Bowl between my between Miami and Nebraska was
- 49:37Speaker 1: obviously the national championship game. At the Rose Bowl between
- 49:42Speaker 1: USC and Texas was when Vince Young I ran to
- 49:48Speaker 1: the to the flag and just got in the end zone.
- 49:53Speaker 1: That was an amazing game. And I think that might
- 49:56Speaker 1: have that might have been Pete Carroll's last game with Texas,
- 50:00Speaker 1: I'm before he left the NFL. But no, this is
- 50:05Speaker 1: what meant. This is why we're sports fans, Alex Oh.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's it's a lot all right. One one
- 50:11Speaker 2: other thing springing of college football tomorrow.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Is the game.
- 50:17Speaker 2: And I always find it fun to watch Michigan and
- 50:20Speaker 2: Ohio State. And I'm sure you've been watching that rivalry forever.
- 50:25Speaker 1: Yep, yep. I remember. I remember in nineteen sixty nine,
- 50:30Speaker 1: Michigan was an okay team. They weren't going anywhere. Ohio
- 50:36Speaker 1: State was undefeated, and they upset them in an arbor,
- 50:41Speaker 1: upset Ohio State in n Aubor Jim Mandic who became
- 50:46Speaker 1: the tight end for the undefeated Dolphins in seventy two,
- 50:50Speaker 1: for a couple of touchdown passes in that game, and
- 50:54Speaker 1: they knocked Ohio State from the ranks of the unbeaten
- 50:58Speaker 1: and that was that was a memorable game. And then
- 51:00Speaker 1: really after that, the Boat Chambackler versus Woody Hayes rivalry
- 51:07Speaker 1: he kicked off. Even though Michigan wasn't great in sixty eight,
- 51:12Speaker 1: then they became great and they every year was Ohio
- 51:16Speaker 1: State of Michigan. Who's going to go to the Rose Bowl?
- 51:19Speaker 1: Because remember those days up until you know, until not
- 51:23Speaker 1: so long ago, you were tied in to, you know,
- 51:28Speaker 1: certain bowl games, and obviously since nineteen forty eight until
- 51:31Speaker 1: a couple of years ago, the Rose Bowl was the
- 51:35Speaker 1: PAC twelve champion against the Big ten champion. That was
- 51:40Speaker 1: that was great in the middle of the you know,
- 51:42Speaker 1: around five o'clock on New Year's Day while you just
- 51:45Speaker 1: you know, you're just sitting on the sofa watching football
- 51:47Speaker 1: all day. That that was the best ball game, the
- 51:50Speaker 1: Pac ten versus the Pac twelve. It became later on
- 51:54Speaker 1: against the Big ten and for a while the Big
- 51:57Speaker 1: ten team could not could not be to pack. Uh.
- 52:01Speaker 2: Well, your recall never ceases to amaze, Louis. I'm impressed
- 52:06Speaker 2: that you know all of this years later, and that's
- 52:09Speaker 2: why we have yelling. You have this historical thing. Now,
- 52:11Speaker 2: what do you think before? On a personal note, it
- 52:14Speaker 2: is things, I mean weekend, what do you think.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Before, Louis Alex, I'm thankful that that I know you
- 52:20Speaker 1: first and foremost, and I'm very, very thankful that I
- 52:24Speaker 1: have friends like you, and uh, I have so many
- 52:29Speaker 1: good friends in this world that have supported me, and
- 52:32Speaker 1: uh great family members that great brothers, I mean, that's
- 52:39Speaker 1: first and foremost, and.
- 52:42Speaker 2: And her health with you, that's very I do.
- 52:46Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, my knees are a little shot, my
- 52:49Speaker 1: foot is not so great, but for the most part, yeah,
- 52:53Speaker 1: I'm healthy. So I thank the Good Lord.
- 52:55Speaker 2: For that maybe we'll get into it in another episode,
- 52:58Speaker 2: but also this week at the same time, and you
- 53:00Speaker 2: had seen Hall in the Johnny's kind of playing consecutive
- 53:03Speaker 2: nights here, uh Saint John's, I think only one to one.
- 53:07Speaker 2: They came out of it losing two out of three.
- 53:11Speaker 2: A bit of a shaky stretch for them in the
- 53:13Speaker 2: last few games. And then see I's been doing okay though.
- 53:17Speaker 1: I was so impressed with seen Hall in the Maui Invitational, Alex.
- 53:22Speaker 1: I can't tell you how how impressed I was. They'd
- 53:26Speaker 1: be twenty three ranked, twenty third ranked North Carolina State.
- 53:30Speaker 1: In the first game again, they really went white to wire.
- 53:34Speaker 1: They played great defense, Their talent level is better than
- 53:38Speaker 1: it was last year. They should have beaten USC. They
- 53:42Speaker 1: lost by two and just a couple of a couple
- 53:46Speaker 1: of minutes stretch away you couldn't put the ball in
- 53:47Speaker 1: the basket. And but they should have beaten USC, and
- 53:51Speaker 1: then and and then and then they took U Paul
- 53:56Speaker 1: Washington straight State. They were never in trouble. And he
- 54:00Speaker 1: really got to give it to Shahan Holloway. He's an
- 54:02Speaker 1: excellent coach. He has them playing on every hard on
- 54:05Speaker 1: every possession. He has some talent. H you know, his
- 54:08Speaker 1: team was picked last in the Big East this year.
- 54:14Speaker 1: I I don't think they're gonna finish last and may not.
- 54:17Speaker 1: They may not be an NCAA A team, I don't
- 54:21Speaker 1: think so. But they're not going to be the seven
- 54:23Speaker 1: and twenty five team that day that they were last year.
- 54:26Speaker 1: I mean, they've got seven wins already. So he's a
- 54:30Speaker 1: heck of a coach. Now I'm starting to wonder see
- 54:33Speaker 1: home and be able to keep him because of course,
- 54:35Speaker 1: in this in this age of nil and transfer portal,
- 54:39Speaker 1: he don't have the money. I mean, I mean, Alex,
- 54:42Speaker 1: there was this kid, Elijah Fisher on shol did a
- 54:46Speaker 1: nice job so far this year. Four teams in four years,
- 54:50Speaker 1: so he's gone. He's gone four different colleges in four years.
- 54:54Speaker 1: And you see that throughout college basketball. It's crazy. It's crazy.
- 54:59Speaker 1: I don't even on the all of college anymore. Alex.
- 55:01Speaker 1: We got to come up for a different designation, Uh
- 55:04Speaker 1: Triple A sports, whether it's college basketball or college football,
- 55:08Speaker 1: college hockey. You know, uh Triple A. It's not semi
- 55:14Speaker 1: pro because they're not semi pros. They're all pros. They're pro.
- 55:19Speaker 2: You know this is uh, this is not your average
- 55:24Speaker 2: college world. And of course Union's unionization all that. I
- 55:28Speaker 2: mean that there's a lot that got us to where
- 55:29Speaker 2: we're at now. It's like, how about that kid in
- 55:32Speaker 2: the UCLA who refused to go and then I figure
- 55:36Speaker 2: which team was going to be at Then he goes
- 55:38Speaker 2: over to u c l A. I mean, I think
- 55:39Speaker 2: it was Tennessee. I could be wrong, but it was
- 55:42Speaker 2: very odd. I'm like, this is where we're at, where
- 55:45Speaker 2: these kids can decide where they want to play that
- 55:47Speaker 2: when did that happen?
- 55:48Speaker 1: I'm not against an aylof. They're gonna use my name,
- 55:51Speaker 1: image and likeness. I should get something for that. But
- 55:55Speaker 1: it went way, It went way past that. It's gone
- 55:58Speaker 1: so far past that, and I think it hurts the game.
- 56:02Speaker 1: First of all, you know, you've got to you have
- 56:05Speaker 1: to each year it's going to be a new team.
- 56:08Speaker 1: And what made the rivalsry is great in college basketball?
- 56:13Speaker 1: Syracuse against Georgetown, the same players were there three four
- 56:18Speaker 1: years in a row. You wing against Syracuse, Beheim against
- 56:23Speaker 1: against coach Thompson, and you look forward to those games. Now,
- 56:28Speaker 1: those rivalries like say Carolina and Duke, maybe the greatest
- 56:32Speaker 1: rivalry Kentucky and Louisville. Now the rivalry is just just
- 56:38Speaker 1: just Jersey, just the two universities. It's not the players,
- 56:43Speaker 1: because the players that are playing on Carolina and Duke
- 56:47Speaker 1: this year of them aren't gonna be on Carolina or
- 56:50Speaker 1: Duke next year.
- 56:53Speaker 2: And then but I said, remember, I was like, who
- 56:54Speaker 2: won the championship this year? Because I can't remember who
- 56:56Speaker 2: wins the championship anymore?
- 56:58Speaker 1: All right? And you certain used to know any college
- 57:03Speaker 1: basketball fan knew the regional finals the final four. It's
- 57:08Speaker 1: not the same. And I don't you know, I don't
- 57:09Speaker 1: really think it's I don't think it's good for the sport,
- 57:12Speaker 1: but what can I say?
- 57:15Speaker 2: But we watch anyway because it's interesting. And then you
- 57:17Speaker 2: have this other issue with the gambling. I mean, this
- 57:19Speaker 2: kid from Temple getting betting against his own program, Like it's.
- 57:24Speaker 1: You know, we know that we knew that was gonna happen, Alex.
- 57:27Speaker 1: We knew that was gonna be that there was gonna
- 57:29Speaker 1: be issues there.
- 57:30Speaker 3: All right.
- 57:30Speaker 2: I want to get a Terminos take on one last thing,
- 57:33Speaker 2: because a week after we didn't talk about this, a
- 57:37Speaker 2: week after these guys were arrested, you know, Phillips and
- 57:40Speaker 2: all that were arrested for the gambling rig ESPA goes
- 57:44Speaker 2: inside a ten year deal with DraftKings or one of those,
- 57:47Speaker 2: and I'm like, isn't the point not to get involved
- 57:50Speaker 2: with that? Like why go further with it?
- 57:52Speaker 1: But okay, Alex, it's all about the Greenbacks.
- 57:58Speaker 2: It's it's extremely fresh trading and it's starting to really
- 58:03Speaker 2: piss me off because we used to think that sport
- 58:05Speaker 2: doesn't escape from the corruption and everything. Right, I mean,
- 58:08Speaker 2: this is ridiculous.
- 58:09Speaker 1: We did, we did, You're right, all right, Louie.
- 58:13Speaker 2: Well we'll calm down, enjoy the rest of our leftover turkey,
- 58:17Speaker 2: and enjoy this week. I mean, I can't believe what
- 58:20Speaker 2: is it? Week thirteen already? This is gonna get a
- 58:22Speaker 2: fast time. You have to season zips by, And as
- 58:27Speaker 2: Brendlarin said, the Bears are not the only Chicago team
- 58:31Speaker 2: reinventing themselves. The black Hawks look pretty good finally, and
- 58:35Speaker 2: the Bulls, I mean they've been having a pretty good
- 58:37Speaker 2: start so far.
- 58:38Speaker 1: So yeah, no, they have and you know, just the
- 58:41Speaker 1: black Hawks. So they made some nice draft picks, and
- 58:45Speaker 1: as we talked about in the past last week, you know,
- 58:49Speaker 1: these up and coming teams like Anaheim and San Jose.
- 58:53Speaker 1: They nailed their draft picks and Chicago did also, and
- 58:58Speaker 1: they're interesting. They're interesting to watch, I mean, and obviously
- 59:03Speaker 1: even with the Islanders, I don't know if they're gonna
- 59:06Speaker 1: make the players not, but they're interesting to watch. But
- 59:08Speaker 1: they've suffered some major injuries. J. G. Pajo is out
- 59:12Speaker 1: gone also how long in today's game, a game that
- 59:15Speaker 1: they lost in the shootout four to three, they were
- 59:17Speaker 1: down three nothing, they tie it up Kyle Palm, everyone
- 59:22Speaker 1: flying into the boards behind the flyer's goal and it
- 59:28Speaker 1: looks like he hurt his knee, and of course, you know,
- 59:31Speaker 1: the Islanders just say it's a lower body injuries, so
- 59:33Speaker 1: we'll never know. So the Islands are getting are a
- 59:36Speaker 1: little short with some key guys, so we'll see what happens.
- 59:40Speaker 1: But they, you know, they've been at least fun to watch,
- 59:43Speaker 1: unlike unlike my Jets, who are not fun to watch.
- 59:50Speaker 2: Shaper is the man.
- 59:51Speaker 1: By the way.
- 59:51Speaker 2: I'm seeing Brooksy honored everywhere, including Boston lately, and I
- 59:55Speaker 2: gotta give credit to Molly Walker. She is such a
- 59:58Speaker 2: valiant reporter for the Post. I get her text messages
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: about who's in who's out. The morning Skate. I mean, yeah,
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: me too. I get them too, And it's fun to
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: kind of be on the be that in depth with
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: this team now. So it's good him, her and Sears
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: are doing a great job.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: They're doing a great job. They're doing a great job, Alex,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: they really are said last week, I wish we could
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: go back a little bit to the old days of reporting.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Yeah, no, and brook and Brooksy was not afraid to
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: test the waters with some of these guys, So you know,
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: it was fun. Hey, one last thing. College football is
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: coming to an end tomorrow and I am planning wherever
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: Notre Dame goes, I want to go and watch them
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: in the playoffs. I mean, they're going to be a
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: playoff team, right, there's nothing about it.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: I mean unless they get upset pips Stanford, which seems yes,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: you gotta play a game, which seems incredibly unlikely. I'm
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: sure they're likes four touchdown favorites. Yeah, they'll be in
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: a playoff. They might play Oklahoma.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: Well that's that's what's interesting, because my dad's from Oklahoma.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: So what if I went down there to my dad's
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: home state and watched him play. That would be something.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: So you never know, Louis. I went to Boston College.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: I can always expand and go further and see him elsewhere.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: We'll see what happens. But lou Urminello. Happy Thanksgiving Torminello's take,
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: and we'll do this again. Thanksgiving, Alex, thank you. As
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: always my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving is.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: It's my favorite holiday. I agree, God bless Alex.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: All right, have a turkey leg up for us. All right,
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: I'll talk to you, Louis, all right, Thank you, Alex,
