Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
0:03
Epstein Chronicles. When people think of Jeffrey Epstein, they think
0:08
of power, politics, and privilege. They think of the mansions,
0:12
the private island, the high profile friends, and the endless
0:15
headlines about how a man convicted of abusing miners still
0:19
managed to move freely among the world's elite. But what
0:23
often gets lost in that conversation is the world of academia,
0:27
the universities, the laboratories, the research centers. That became another
0:32
stage for Epstein's performance. Because Epstein wasn't content with just
0:37
money or influence on politics. He wanted legitimacy. He wanted
0:42
to cloak himself in the aura of science, to sit
0:45
shoulder to shoulder with Nobel prize winners, to be viewed
0:49
not just as a financier, but as a man at
0:52
the forefront of human knowledge. And astonishingly, some of the
0:56
most prestigious institutions in the world give me exactly that. Harvard,
1:02
Mit Princeton Stanford. Epstein had no advanced degree, no formal training,
1:08
and no real scholarship to his name, Yet his money
1:12
and his charm opened doors that should have remained closed.
1:16
He was given access to labs, faculty, in students. He
1:19
was welcomed as a patron of science, even after his
1:22
two thousand and eight conviction made clear what kind of
1:24
man he was. The question is not just how Epstein
1:28
managed it, it's why academia was so willing to let
1:32
him in. This is the story of how Jeffrey Epstein
1:35
used universities to launder his reputation, how brilliant scientists and
1:40
powerful institutions rationalized their association with them, and how the
1:44
pursuit of funding became more important than the pursuit of truth.
1:48
It's a story not only about one predator's manipulation, but
1:52
once again, about the systemic flaws that allowed it to happen.
1:57
And in the end, it forces us to ask, if
2:00
the guardians of knowledge can be bought so easily, then
2:03
what does that say about the integrity of knowledge itself.
2:07
Jeffrey Epstein's ties to academia formed one of the most
2:11
insidious aspects of his influence, revealing how money, prestige, and
2:15
connections could by access to the world's most respected institutions.
2:20
He wasn't a scholar himself, nor was he trained in
2:23
any specialized field, but he strategically cultivated relationships with elite universities,
2:29
professors and researchers. Through donations, networking, and his reputation as
2:35
a financier, Epstein positioned himself as a patron of science
2:39
and education while simultaneously laundering his own image and expanding
2:44
his network of influence. Epstein's most prominent academic ties were
2:48
to Harvard University. Despite never earning a degree there, Epstein
2:52
made significant financial contributions which opened doors to the highest
2:57
levels of the institution. Vard accepted millions from him, including
3:02
six and a half million dollars in donations in two
3:04
thousand and three to establish the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics,
3:09
headed by Martin Oak. This gave Epstein both prestige and influence,
3:14
while raising questions about how money could overshadow ethics and academia.
3:19
Harvard later admitted that Epstein had no formal role at
3:23
the university, yet emails and records showed that he regularly
3:27
visited campus, used office space, and interacted with faculty even
3:31
after his two thousand and eight sex offense conviction. This
3:35
tolerance illustrates how academic institutions sometimes prioritized funding over morality,
3:41
undermining their own integrity. Beyond Harvard, Epstein donated two in
3:46
courted ties with other elite institutions, including MIT, Princeton and Stanford.
3:52
At MIT, his association became a scandal after it emerged
3:57
that Media Lab under joy Eto had accepted did large
4:00
donations from Epstein. Some routed through intermediaries to hide his involvement.
4:06
This caused massive backlash and highlighted the vulnerability of research
4:10
institutions to attainted money. Epstein also sought proximity to intellectuals.
4:17
He invited Nobel Peace winners, scientists, and prominent academics to
4:21
his private residences, where he hosted salons and discussions. Figures
4:26
such as Stephen Hawking, Lawrence Krauss, and Marvin Minsky were
4:29
among those who attended his gatherings, though in the aftermath
4:33
of the fallout they said their awareness of Epstein's crimes varied.
4:38
These interactions burnished Epstein's image as a serious supporter of science,
4:42
even as they provided him cover. One of Epstein's favorite
4:46
areas of academic interest was evolutionary biology and genetics. He
4:50
was particularly fascinated with the ideas of human improvement, transhumanism,
4:55
and eugenics like concepts as we discussed previous. He spoke
5:01
of using his ranch in New Mexico as a base
5:03
for a plan to seed the human race with his DNA,
5:06
a grotesque distortion of legitimate scientific interest enabled by the
5:11
credibility he drew from his ties to academia. Epstein exploited
5:16
academia not only to launder his reputation, but also to
5:19
cultivate influence. Professors and researchers often rely on private donors
5:24
for funding, making them vulnerable to individuals like Epstein, who
5:28
present themselves as philanthropists. By leveraging this dynamic, Epstein gained
5:33
access to cutting edge research and elite social circles that
5:37
he would otherwise have been excluded from, and from there
5:41
he set his hooks. The academic world's complicity lay in
5:46
its willingness to separate funding from ethics. Institutions rationalized taking
5:51
his money by claiming it supported valuable research, even after
5:55
his criminal record was known. This revealed a systemic weakness
5:59
and how university donors, and it highlighted the tension between
6:02
financial survival and moral responsibility. Harvard's Program for Evolutionary Dynamics,
6:09
in particular, became a symbol of this moral compromise. While
6:13
the program produced legitimate research, its association with Epstein tainted
6:18
its reputation and spark debates over whether money with strings
6:22
or stigma attached is ever worth accepting. Even after Epstein's
6:27
two thousand and eight conviction, some academics continued to defend
6:30
them or downplay his crimes, emphasizing his intelligence and curiosity.
6:36
This reflected a dangerous blind spot in elite intellectual culture,
6:40
the tendency to exclude predatory behavior when cloaked in wealth, brilliance,
6:45
or influence. Epstein's academic ties also reveal the intersection of science, money,
6:51
and power. The ability to secure access to the world's
6:54
brightest minds allowed him to shape conversations in fields such
6:58
as physics, artificial and intelligence, and biology. It also gave
7:03
them intellectual legitimacy that extended beyond Wall Street or politics.
7:08
The scandal at MIT's media Lab slams the point home
7:11
when we're talking about the depth of his reach. Joiedo
7:15
resigned after it was revealed he had accepted hundreds of
7:18
thousands of dollars from Epstein, some of which had been
7:21
deliberately hidden, and this led to questions about transparency in
7:26
academic funding, and how institutions often conceal the origins of
7:29
donations to avoid scrutiny. Many of the scientists who associated
7:33
with Epstein later expressed regret, claiming that they were unaware
7:37
of the full scope of his crimes, yet it came
7:41
up hollow, and critics argue that by the time Epstein
7:44
was cultivating these ties, enough was publicly known to warrant caution,
7:49
but their desire for funding overrid their conscience. Epstein also
7:54
invested heavily in the idea of being seen as a futurist.
7:57
He courted experts in cutting edge fields like AI, neuroscience,
8:01
and space exploration, not necessarily out of true passion for knowledge,
8:06
but because association with frontier of science reinforced his image
8:10
as a visionary. This gave him credibility when interacting with politicians, financiers,
8:15
and media figures. Academia thus served as a crucial pillar
8:20
for Epstein's broader network. While the political and financial worlds
8:23
gave him power, academia gave him legitimacy. Being seen in
8:28
the company of brilliant minds, sponsoring research and hosting intellectual
8:31
salons created the impression that he was more than just
8:34
a financier that he was a thinker and possibly a benefactor.
8:41
The fallout from Epstein's exposure forced many of the universities
8:45
to reevaluate their policies, even if it was half hearted.
8:49
Harvard conducted internal reviews which were garbage, mit apologized who Cares,
8:55
and researchers distanced themselves. Yet these actions were largely reactive,
9:00
coming only after media pressure and public outrage, and it
9:04
shows you just how deep that Epstein's influence had become
9:07
before accountability was demanded. Epstein's exploitation of academia also exposed
9:14
the vulnerabilities of a system where research funding is scarce
9:17
and donors wield disproportionate influence. Scientists depend on philanthropy for
9:23
grants may feel compelled to overlook ethical concerns, creating opportunities
9:28
for manipulation by predatory individuals. In retrospect, Epstein's academic involvement
9:34
was not about advancing science, but about self promotion, access,
9:38
and laundering his reputation. By embedding himself within the intellectual elite,
9:43
he am asked his criminal predation with a veneer of
9:46
intellectual sophistication and altruism, and in a scandal that leaves
9:51
many questions. One of them is enduring should academia accept
9:57
funding from morally compromised sources if it supports beneficial research.
10:01
Epstein's case suggests that the cost to integrity, reputation, and
10:05
trust far outweigh the financial gains. Ultimately, Epstein's relationship with
10:10
academia was parasitic. He fed off the Prestigiou universities and
10:14
scholars to cloak himself in legitimacy while offering them money
10:18
they were too willing to accept, and in doing so,
10:21
he exposed a critical weakness in the academic system when
10:25
that remains unresolved and vulnerable to future exploitation. The aftermath
10:30
of Epstein's exposure in twenty nineteen forced universities to confront
10:35
or at least make pretend they were confronting an uncomfortable
10:38
truth they had allowed themselves to be conduits for reputational laundering.
10:43
Academic institutions are supposed to stand as bastions of knowledge, ethics,
10:47
and progress, yet their dealings with Epstein man he acted
10:51
no differently than corporations or politicians who look the other
10:55
way when money was on the table. Epstein's academic strategy
10:59
also shows how knowledge itself can become commodified. He often
11:03
demanded access to cutting edge research and private briefings, not
11:06
necessarily to advance science, but to position himself as an
11:10
insider or perhaps get that knowledge to sell. In some cases,
11:15
he may have seen academic knowledge as a form of currency,
11:19
another tool to impress, manipulate, or control. And the scandal
11:24
reverberated beyond the institutions directly connected to Epstein. Universities everywhere
11:29
began reassessing donor policies, emphasizing the need for stricter vetting
11:34
and transparency. Yet even after these reassessments, skepticism remains about
11:40
whether true change is possible. Money continues to drive much
11:44
of academia, and the temptation to accept funding from controversial
11:48
figures persists. What Epstein revealed most clearly was academia's vulnerability
11:54
to exploitation. Unlike corporations or governments, which face direct public accountability,
12:00
universities often operate in a space a prestige that shields
12:04
them from scrutiny. This makes them particularly attractive to individuals
12:08
seeking reputational cover. Epstein understood this well and exploited it
12:13
to its full extent. Epstein's exploitation of academia mirrors his
12:18
exploitation of other arenas politics, finance, and media. In each case,
12:23
he inserted himself into powerful networks, offered something of value, money, connections,
12:28
or access, and used the resulting legitimacy to mask his crimes.
12:33
Academia was simply another stage on which he performed this strategy.
12:38
The lingering question is whether academia has learned from the
12:42
Epstein affair or merely moved on. Public apologies and investigations
12:47
may give the appearance of reform, but the underlying dynamics,
12:51
the hunger for funding, the seduction of prestige, and the
12:55
rationalization of ethical compromises, remained largely unchanged. Until those dynamic shift,
13:01
the system remains open to exploitation, and in the end,
13:06
Jeffrey Epstein's relationship with academia is one of the most
13:10
disgusting and disturbing examples of how knowledge can be corrupted
13:14
when wealth dictates access. He never earned his place among scholars,
13:19
yet he was welcomed as one of their patrons. That
13:22
contradiction is academia's enduring shame. By failing to guard its gates,
13:27
it allowed a predator to cloak himself in the robes
13:30
of intellectual legitimacy, and the conclusion is clear. If universities
13:35
cannot protect themselves from men like Epstein, then they cannot
13:39
claim to protect the integrity of knowledge itself. All of
13:43
the information that goes with this episode can be found
13:46
in the description box. What's up, everyone, and welcome to
13:49
another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. Now, I don't think
13:53
that I'm telling you, folks anything. You don't know when
13:56
I tell you that this whole entire thing with Epstein
13:59
makes my god day blood boil. But you know what
14:02
really sticks in my crawl the way that these fancy
14:04
pants colleges and universities, the Harvard's, the Mits, the big
14:09
league schools with billion dollar endowments, somehow managed to tiptoe
14:13
right through the storm without hardly a scratch. Everybody else
14:17
tied to Abstein got dragged through the mud, and rightfully so.
14:20
But Academia they slipped the noose. They got away clean,
14:24
still pretending that they were innocent bystanders. And that's a
14:27
damn lie for guys like me or you. If you
14:30
screw up even a little bit, if you miss a
14:32
car payment or get caught with an open container, they'll
14:35
hammer you. There's no forgiveness, no excuse. But these universities,
14:40
they can take dirty money from a known sex predator,
14:42
they can give them an office space, they can invite
14:44
them to rub elbows with students, and then when the
14:47
receipts finally get leaked, they just shrug, Oh, gee, we
14:50
didn't know. Don't give me that they knew. They just
14:54
didn't care because the check's cleared. And don't let anybody
14:57
tell you any different. The professors were part of it too.
15:00
These weren't clueless bookworms locked in a lab. They lined
15:04
up like kids at a candy store, snatching up Epstein's
15:07
cash for their pet projects. Some of these guys are
15:10
supposed to be the smartest minds on the planet, and
15:13
you're telling me they never asked where the millions came from.
15:16
Give me a break. They knew the guy was radioactive,
15:19
but they wanted their research grants more than they wanted
15:21
their conscience. And what's worse is how the media handled it. Oh,
15:26
they'll hound the royals, the hedge fund suits, the Hollywood creeps,
15:29
but when it comes to the universities, crickets. A couple
15:33
applied stories here and there, nothing that really lays the
15:36
hammer down. Academia is treated like it's untouchable, like some
15:40
sacred cow that's too holy to question. And that right
15:43
there is how you know that the fix is in.
15:46
Let's just take Harvard for example. This guy had an
15:48
actual office on campus even after he was registered as
15:52
a sex offender, not before after. YO, think about how
15:56
insane that is. You or me with a minor record
15:59
can't even get the hiring desk at half the jobs
16:01
in the country. Meanwhile, Epstein sitting pretty at Harvard walking
16:05
around with a damn key card. It's like the rules
16:08
ain't even the same for them. And mit same story.
16:12
They gobbled up his donations and then acted all shocked
16:15
when it came out. They did the whole song and dance,
16:18
We're sorry, we'll do better, oversight this, and values that.
16:22
There was never real punishment. Did anyone lose a cushy gig?
16:25
Did anybody face charges? Nope, just some crocodile tears in
16:29
an email blast and then back to business as usual.
16:33
And you know why, because they're wired into the system.
16:36
The schools got their hooks in government, Wall Street, foundations,
16:39
you name it. It's all one big money soak circle.
16:43
They pretend to be the victims of Epstein's manipulation, but
16:46
the truth is they were co conspirators. They wanted the money,
16:50
they wanted the connections, and they didn't give a damn
16:53
who got hurt. And look, this isn't just about a
16:56
few bad eggs here, it's about the whole culture. Higher
16:59
Ed's been corrupted for a long time, turned into a
17:01
laundry mat for shady billionaires and power brokers. You donate
17:05
the cash, they slap your name on some science wing
17:08
and suddenly you're not a creep anymore. You're a philanthropist.
17:13
Epstein knew that game inside and out, and the universities
17:16
were all too happy to play. And for me, one
17:20
of the worst parts is the hypocrisy, and it makes
17:22
me sick. These schools love preaching to the rest of us.
17:25
They'll put out press releases about ethics and equity, they'll
17:29
cancel some kid over a bad tweet, but behind the
17:31
curtain they're raking in predator money and acting like saints.
17:35
If hypocrisy was currency, Higher Ed would be the richest
17:38
industry on earth. Now. Look, I have busted my ass
17:43
as a blue collar worker my whole life, and at
17:46
any of those jobs. If somebody takes dirty money or
17:50
hire somebody shady, the licensing board tears you apart. You're finished.
17:54
But universities, they get tax breaks, found endowments, and pats
17:58
on the back. They've built system where they're untouchable. Makes
18:02
a guy wonder if justice even exists anymore. And let's
18:06
not forget that they try to hide under the umbrella
18:08
or research that words there get out of jail free card.
18:13
Epstein funds a project, Well, it's for the advancement of knowledge,
18:16
you see. Screw that. You can't wash away blood money
18:19
with a few test tubes and white lab coats. You
18:23
can't tell me that the students didn't notice either. Maybe
18:25
they didn't know the full horror. But you hang around
18:28
those campuses long enough and you see who is who
18:31
Epstein strutting around hobnobbin with the power crowd. It wasn't
18:34
some secret in abasement. It was part of the culture.
18:37
The hush hush clubs, the private dinners, the networking. It
18:41
all fed off the same rotten ass tree. And the
18:45
thing that gnaws at me is we've been sold this
18:47
fairy tale that educations the great equalizer, work hard, get
18:50
good grades, go to the right school, and the world
18:54
is yours. But when predators like Epstein can buy their
18:57
way into the halls of power, that's not a quoat.
19:00
What we have is grooming. And those kids, those so
19:03
called bright young minds, they were the bait. And what
19:07
happens when the story hits the fan? While universities whip
19:10
up a task force, hire a pr firm, and churn
19:12
out some worre listening nonsense and then just hope to
19:15
wait out the storm, No purp walks, no criminal charges,
19:19
just a couple of thin pieces about institutional lessons, and
19:22
they go right back to raking it in. Meanwhile, the
19:25
victims and the public are still out here fighting for
19:28
scraps of justice. And look, the Feds could have a
19:31
nailed them too, don't let anybody say otherwise. They had
19:34
the power to subpoena records, drag administrators in front of
19:37
a grand jury, and force them to talk. But they didn't.
19:41
Why because too many powerful names would get caught up
19:44
in the net. Safer to pretend the schools just didn't notice.
19:47
Safer to protect the institutions than the victims. And of course,
19:52
every time a fresh batch of emails or records comes out,
19:54
the university runs the same play. We take this seriously, seriously,
20:00
You're a billion dollar operation with armies of lawyers and administrators.
20:04
If you really cared, you'd cut ties, return the money,
20:07
fund survivor organizations. But they don't because talk is cheaper
20:12
than action, and they know the public's attention span ain't
20:15
that long. And let's be real, let's look at what
20:18
they choose to get worked up over. They'll counsel a
20:21
professor for saying something unpopular, they'll blacklist a speaker for
20:25
stepping out a line. But when it comes to a
20:27
donor with a rap sheet longer than a CVS receipt,
20:30
red carpet treatment, baby tells you everything you need to
20:34
know about what really matters. Not morality, not values, just money.
20:39
So yeah, I don't care how many Rhodes scholars you
20:41
turn out or how many Nobel Prizes you're alumni win.
20:45
If you're taking Epstein's cash, you're guilty. You don't get
20:48
the play. Dumb and act like you were tricked. You knew,
20:51
you saw the headlines, you took the money. Anyway, that
20:54
makes you complicit. One day, maybe maybe the hammer will
20:58
actually fall. Maybe some prosecutor with guts will drag the
21:02
ivory towers into the light the way they go after
21:05
regular joes in small town courtrooms. But I ain't holding
21:09
my breath until then. The only shot we have is
21:12
to keep shouting about it, because the mainstream ain't ever
21:15
gonna do it for us. Bottom line, higher academia ain't innocent.
21:20
They weren't bystanders. They were players, big ones, and the
21:24
fact that they've mostly slipped out the back door without
21:27
consequences ought to scare the hell out of anybody who
21:30
still believes in justice. Look, you know what it all
21:33
comes down to, folks, We've been sold this line, our
21:36
whole lives that the universities are the pinnacle, the cream
21:39
of the crop, the places that shape the future. They
21:42
market themselves like their temples of knowledge, like stepping on
21:46
to one of their campuses is supposed to be some
21:48
holy experience. Parents go broke trying to send their kids
21:52
there just for a shot at the so called American dream.
21:55
And every time one of those glossy brochures hits the mailbox,
21:58
it's full of buzzwords like integrity, innovation, and the pursuit
22:02
of truth. But when push comes to shove. When the
22:06
Epstein storm hit, they showed their true colors. They weren't
22:09
protectors of knowledge, they weren't guardians of truth. There were
22:13
just another cog in the same broken ass machine. They
22:17
cashed the checks, they opened the doors, they look the
22:19
other way, and when the heat got too close, they
22:22
played dumb and let the media move on. All that
22:25
moral high ground that they preach about. Turns out it's
22:28
just swamp mud once you scratch the surface. Meanwhile, us
22:32
regular working stiffs got to sit back and watch the
22:35
rich and powerful skate free again and again. As we
22:39
all know, if it was you or me tied to Epstein. Hell,
22:42
if it was just some rumor, let alone, a stack
22:44
of receipts, our lives would be over, job's gone, names,
22:48
dragged through the dirt, and probably even locked up. That's
22:52
how the system works for folks like us. But Harvard,
22:55
mit the rest of them, they're still sitting pretty breaking
22:58
in donations, shaking hands will politicians and slapping each other
23:01
on the back like nothing's ever happened. And the whole
23:04
last thing is some perverted joke. They get to write
23:07
the rules, and surprise, surprise, the rules never apply to them.
23:11
And that's the bitter pill, ain't it. Justice in this
23:14
country ain't blind like they taught us in school. Justice
23:18
has got her eyes wide open and she's looking dead
23:20
at the bank account before she even thinks about swinging
23:23
that gavel. You or me step out of line and
23:26
were chumped for the sharks. But these institutions, they're untouchable.
23:31
Billion dollar endowments, armies of lawyers, connections with every senator
23:35
and governor under the sun. They've built a fortress around themselves.
23:39
And the only ones who ever get left out in
23:41
the cold are the victims, the ones whose lives were
23:44
ripped apart, while these so called pillars of society cash
23:47
predator money without blinking. So yeah, the next time some
23:50
dean or professor starts preaching about morality or ethics, remember this,
23:55
When the chips were down, they sided with money every
23:58
damn time. They didn't stand with the victims. They didn't
24:01
cut ties, they didn't slam the door shut on Epstein
24:04
and people like them. They let him in. They gave
24:07
him space, they took his cash, and they smiled for
24:11
the cameras while doing it. And the minute the walls
24:14
started closing in, they spwned some half assed apology, cross
24:17
their fingers and hope the public would move on. It
24:20
wasn't about the truth, It wasn't about right and wrong.
24:22
It was about keeping the gravy train rolling. Because these
24:26
scholars love to act like they're the conscience of the nation.
24:29
They set themselves up as the moral compass, deciding what's
24:32
acceptable and what ain't. They'll throw a student to the
24:35
wolves for saying the wrong thing online, but when they're
24:38
donors or monsters, they turned into politicians, suddenly complicated and nuanced.
24:44
Miss me with all of it. It's hypocrisy on steroids,
24:47
and they expect us to swallow it with a smile.
24:51
So until somebody grows some stones to drag these ivory
24:55
towers into the same light they drag the rest of us,
24:57
it's on us to keep the fire lit, to never forget,
25:01
to never shut up, and to never let them bury
25:03
what really went down, Because you better believe those institutions
25:07
are counting on silence, they're counting on fatigue, They're counting
25:10
on regular folks throwing their hands up and saying, well,
25:14
nothing we can do. But that's how they win, that's
25:17
how they keep skating. And I'll be danned if I'm
25:19
gonna let that slide without raising hell every chance I get.
25:25
All of the information that goes with this episode can
25:27
be found in the description box. What's up, everyone, and
25:30
welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. Whatever you
25:35
think about Jeffrey Epstein, the first thing you think about,
25:38
usually besides him being a degenerate fuck bag, is his
25:42
connections to the political world. But his connections and his
25:46
rot didn't stop there. The systemic rot known as Jeffrey
25:51
Epstein also found its way into the halls of academia,
25:55
and the roots of that rot took so firmly that
25:57
they even had an office for Jeffrey Epstein on the
26:00
campus of Harvard. So in this episode, we're going to
26:03
dive into an article from BuzzFeed News and see what
26:05
they have for us on the topic. Headline, Jeffrey Epstein
26:10
called himself a science philanthropist and donated millions to these researchers.
26:15
This article was authored by Pete Aldous. Jeffrey Epstein, the
26:22
Wall Street financier who on Monday was indicted for running
26:26
a sex trafficking ring and abusing underage girls as young
26:29
as fourteen, was a major science donor who gave millions
26:33
of dollars to leading scientists and top universities. And unfortunately, folks,
26:37
there is not an institution of power or note where
26:41
Jeffrey Epstein's tentacles didn't extend. We're talking about the FBI,
26:45
we're talking about the DOJ, We're talking about the financial sector.
26:50
We're talking about academia, we're talking about politics, you name it.
26:55
If there was a system that harbored any kind of
26:57
power or any kind of secret, then you can guarantee
27:01
that Jeffrey Epstein was trying to slither in. Beneficiaries of
27:05
Epstein's scientific largesse include Harvard and MIT Well, according to
27:10
press releases and records, including filings by Jeffrey Epstein's charitable
27:15
foundations to the Internal Revenue Service reviewed by BuzzFeed News.
27:20
Though Epstein was publicity shy, his charitable foundations described him
27:25
as a science philanthropist, and between twenty twelve and twenty
27:30
fourteen issued press releases highlighting his support of top scientists,
27:34
some of whom he counted as personal friends. And remember
27:38
this is all happening after this sick, degenerate fuck bag
27:42
was already arrested and convicted. Can you imagine taking money
27:45
from this dude after he's already been convicted. It's one
27:49
thing to take money from him previously. At least you
27:52
can say, hey, I didn't know what he was, even
27:54
if I don't believe you, you can at least try
27:56
and use that excuse after he was already convicted. Though
28:00
what excuse is there to use? In my opinion, there
28:03
is zero justification forever breaking bread with a dude like this,
28:07
especially after you knew what he was. Some institutes and researchers,
28:13
including MIT, the celebrity physicist Lawrence Krauss, and the Melanoma
28:18
Research Alliance, continued to take Epstein's money long after the
28:22
controversial two thousand and eight plea deal that saw him
28:24
serve just thirteen months in a Florida jail let out
28:28
during the day to continue his work investing the fortunes
28:31
of his billionaire clients. Yeah, you mean Leon Black and
28:34
Less Wexner his only two clients. And I don't want
28:37
to digress too much, but how the fuck doesn't that
28:41
concern people? This man has two clients, both of them
28:44
are super powerful billionaires, and both of them give complete
28:48
control to Jeffrey Epstein power of attorney for Les Wexner.
28:53
And then when it comes to Leon Black, Jeffrey Epstein
28:55
had the keys to the kingdom too. So somebody explained
28:58
that shit to me. I'm three years old, because as
29:02
of now, I haven't heard any explanation that makes sense, well,
29:05
not one that fits the official narrative anyway. Now, at
29:09
least one organization, the Santa Fe Institute, New Mexico, is
29:12
considering whether to give away the money it received from
29:15
Epstein after two thousand and eight. Notice it doesn't say
29:19
all the money it received throughout the years, just after
29:22
two thousand and eight. And when I went to Zoro Ranch,
29:25
I went to the Santa Fe Institute as well, and
29:28
I got thrown right off the campus. They wanted nothing
29:32
to do with answering any questions about their relationship with
29:35
Jeffrey Epstein. Nobody. It was like I showed up on
29:40
the campus and they were there right away to get
29:43
rid of me. And my guess is they were giving
29:45
the heads up by Epstein's people over at the ranch.
29:49
Because I was at that ranch for about an hour
29:51
or so, and I was standing out front, I was
29:54
ringing the bell, you know, taking pictures. The whole thing
29:58
and nothing, not a nobody came out, nobody showed up.
30:02
And my guess is that they sent that information over
30:05
their buddies over at the Santa Fe Institute to let
30:08
them know that they're going to have some incoming questions.
30:11
But overall my trip down there, everybody was hip to
30:14
what was going on with Epstein. Everybody knew what Epstein
30:18
was up to, and they also knew that the fix
30:20
was in in the state of New Mexico. I mean
30:23
Jeffrey Epstein not having to register as a sexual offender
30:26
in the state. And if you think that Epstein didn't
30:29
know that before he purchased property in New Mexico, you're crazy.
30:32
Everything this man did was calculated. Say what you want
30:36
about him, but he was very calculated when it came
30:38
to his business, and he knew that New Mexico would
30:41
be the perfect place for him with all of his
30:43
political connections in the state, from the King family to
30:47
Bill Richardson to the laws that were on the books.
30:50
It was the complete recipe of success for Jeffrey Epstein
30:54
in the state of New Mexico. And remember, there was
30:57
never any raid on the ranch. There is never any
31:00
real state investigation. They punted to the FEDS when the
31:05
truth is there should have been a state investigation. And
31:09
while I can't confirm it, I've heard rumors about people
31:12
who were abused in New Mexico as well who have
31:15
just not come forward. And for those of us who
31:17
have been following this for years, that's a big problem.
31:20
There's a lot of people who have been abused by
31:23
Jeffrey Epstein but who have not come forward and who
31:26
will never come forward. And I mean, why would they
31:30
so that they can help put somebody like Lane Maxwell
31:32
in prison only to see her get moved to Camp
31:35
Brian so she can go and do yoga with the
31:38
chick from Toranos. I mean, come on, why would anyone
31:43
want to come forward and help this administration? Especially? I
31:48
mean somebody might want to tell the administration that the
31:50
idea is to actually throw the book at sex offenders,
31:53
not give them accommodation. Epstein's interest in science began years ago.
32:00
A gushing two thousand and two profile in New York
32:03
magazine claimed he was spending twenty million a year on
32:06
his discovery of scientists, giving them freedom to explore any
32:10
avenue of research. Luminaries, including the late Gerald Edelman, who
32:16
won a Nobel Prize for his work on the structure
32:18
of antibodies and was backed by Epstein to study the
32:21
nature of consciousness. Praise the financier for his sharp mind.
32:26
Oh yeah, sharp mind? Is it considering just about everybody
32:29
that we know that talked to Epstein that new Epstein
32:32
said he was dumb as fuck. Certainly not some genius,
32:35
and certainly not some scientist. Harvard mathematical biologist Martin Nowak,
32:41
the magazine wrote, talked to Epstein on a weekly basis
32:45
and was flown to his homes to give impromptu lectures.
32:49
Jeffrey has the mind of a physicist. It's like talking
32:52
to a colleague in your field. Noak told The New
32:56
York magazine he has changed my life because of his support.
32:59
I feel I can do anything I want. Oh, I
33:01
bet you do. Did you feel that way on the island,
33:04
mister Noak? Did you feel that way when you were
33:07
hanging out with Epstein during intimate moments? Now, look, I
33:11
have no idea what mister Noak was up to when
33:14
he was with Epstein, but I do know he was
33:16
with him. So what did he see? When did he
33:19
see it? And is he willing to talk about all
33:21
of it under oath. And if he's not, well, just
33:24
another enabler, folks, that's all he is. Anybody who was
33:28
not willing to out Epstein for what he was or
33:30
what he was up to, anybody who was around him,
33:33
anybody who was, you know, partaking in his largeesse. Those people,
33:37
if they don't come forward, if they don't speak up,
33:40
they're enablers. And that certainly goes for all these dufices
33:43
in the world of science. But tracking the full extent
33:46
of Epstein's funding for science is hard. Though private foundations
33:52
are supposed to reveal the beneficiaries of their grants in
33:55
annual documents filed with the IRS, those from Epstein's don't.
33:59
Founds based in the US Virgin Islands do not give
34:03
a complete record of his donations. Well, no, shit, Well
34:08
you think Epstein's going to give a full accounting to
34:10
the IRS? I mean, come on, we all know Epstein
34:13
was big with offshore banks, and we also know that
34:15
Epstein was big when it comes to putting his money
34:18
into things like high end art. So nobody should ever
34:21
be shocked that there's no IRS filings or receipts when
34:24
it comes to the IRS well, you should be looking
34:27
for the bank transfers, who received money, when did they
34:30
receive it, and why, because that's how you're going to
34:33
get to the heart of what Epstein was up to
34:35
and who was really involved. And inevitably, if you follow
34:38
the money long enough, you're going to end up in
34:40
some politicians office. For example, one of Epstein's foundations, Enhanced Education,
34:46
made thirty five thousand dollars in payments to Origins project
34:51
headed by Lawrence Krauss at Arizona State University between December
34:55
twenty ten and April twenty seventeen, according to records obtained
35:00
by BuzzFeed News under a public records request, but Enhanced
35:04
Education seems to have filed only once with the IRS
35:08
four two thousand and two. Krause, who agreed to retire
35:12
from ASU last year after BuzzFeed News revealed his history
35:16
of sexual harassment, publicly defended Epstein in twenty eleven, telling
35:21
The Deadly Beast as a scientist, I always judge things
35:24
on empirical evidence and always has women ages nineteen to
35:28
twenty three around them, But I've never seen anything else.
35:32
So as a scientist, my presumption is that whatever the
35:34
problems were, I would believe him over other people. Hell
35:38
of a guy, this, Lawrence Krause. Huh, And what an
35:41
uncanny ability to tell the ages of these girls. You
35:44
mean to tell me if a girl looks eighteen or nineteen,
35:47
she can't possibly be sixteen? Is that what you want
35:50
to tell me? Professor? What it really comes down to
35:52
is that these people believe that you're stupid. I know,
35:55
I say it all the time, but that's what they believe. Oh,
35:57
I had no idea what Jeffrey Epstein was. He was
36:01
already convicted. What are you even talking about right now?
36:05
I don't feel tarnished in any way by my relationship
36:08
with Jeffrey Krause added, I feel raised by it. Well
36:12
tells me everything I need to know about mister Krause.
36:15
While Kraus was unusual in speaking out in support of
36:18
his disgraced friend, he was not alone in continuing to
36:21
take money from Epstein after the publicity that surrounded his
36:25
two thousand and eight conviction. And here's where it gets
36:28
real fucked up. Anybody taking money after two thousand and eight,
36:32
anybody hanging out with them after two thousand and eight,
36:36
they knew exactly what they were getting and they chose
36:39
to be in his company, and they chose to accept
36:42
his money. So don't cry like a little bitch when
36:44
you're outed for it and people call you onto the carpet.
36:48
The Santa Fe Institute, which studies complex physical, computational, biological,
36:54
and social systems, received twenty five thousand dollars from Epstein Interests,
36:58
another of the financiers foundations, in twenty ten, and when
37:03
the foundation closed in twenty twelve, it gave fifty thousand
37:06
to MIT. A May twenty twelve release from the Jeffrey
37:11
Epstein Foundation, which seems to be an umbrella for his
37:14
charitable activities with no irs filings of its own, describes
37:19
a pivotal donation to the Melanoma Research Alliance. Between then
37:25
and November twenty fourteen, the Jeffrey Epstein Foundation put out
37:29
regular releases couting his support for cancer research, including at
37:33
the Icon School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New
37:36
York City, research on Crohn's disease, and projects including OpenCog,
37:41
an initiative led by artificial intelligence pioneer Ben Gortzel to
37:46
develop open source software for AI. Bet you didn't know that, huh,
37:51
Jeffrey Epstein was right in the mix when it comes
37:53
to AI, and he also funded several different startup groups
37:58
that were putting this into motion. So, like I was
38:01
saying earlier, if you think the rot of Jeffrey Epstein
38:04
is only for politics or for big business, I'm here
38:08
to tell you that that rot was everywhere. It spread,
38:12
it metastasized, and it became systemic. Neither Gortzel nor the
38:18
Icon School of Medicine responded to requests for comment from
38:22
BuzzFeed News. Many of the Jeffrey Epstein Foundation releases touted
38:26
Epstein's association with Harvard and his donations to the university,
38:31
including Martin Noak's program for Evolutionary Dynamics and support for
38:36
his study by the neuroscientist Mark Tramo, which examined the
38:40
effects of playing music to premature babies on their heart rates. Tramo,
38:45
now at UCLA, did not immediately respond or request for comment,
38:51
Norwak did not respond to queries about Epstein from BuzzFeed News.
38:55
None of them are going to do that. They never
38:57
will because they know that they were wrong, and at
39:01
this point it's just going to deepen the hole for them. Right,
39:04
What do they have to gain from coming out. Harvard
39:08
does not comment on individual gifts or their status. University
39:11
spokesperson Jason Newton toll BuzzFeed News. In several releases, the
39:16
Jeffrey Epstein Foundation claimed to have given thirty million dollars
39:20
to NOACs program. A Harvard source familiar with the donations
39:24
would not comment on how much was received, but said
39:27
that the thirty million dollar figure does not reflect the
39:30
actual gift. In two thousand and six, after Epstein's original indictment,
39:35
the Harvard Crimson reported that the university had received six
39:38
and a half million, which the source confirmed was an
39:42
initial donation made in two thousand and three. Why was
39:46
he donating so much money? What did he hope to gain?
39:49
We know that Jeffrey Epstein wasn't doing it because he's kind. No,
39:54
what he hoped to gain was the trust and access
39:57
to these scientists in their projects. And why did he
40:00
want access to these projects to this science, Well, so
40:04
he could sell it, right, all part of the compromont.
40:08
Apart from the thirty million Epstein claimed to have given
40:10
to Harvard, the foundation press release from twenty twelve to
40:14
twenty fourteen don't mention the sums involved, nor when the
40:18
donations were made. Several of the releases note prior support
40:23
for the late Stephen Hawking, as well as Nobel Prize
40:26
winning physicists Frank Willcheck and Gerard hoofed of Utrek University
40:32
in the Netherlands. They were among a group of leading
40:35
physicists who attended an Epstein funded conference in the Virgin
40:38
Islands on gravity organized by Kraus in two thousand and six.
40:43
The physicist Hoof told BuzzFeed News that he had no
40:46
contact with Epstein since two thousand and six. I did
40:50
not receive financial support from mister Epstein. I did not
40:53
attend a conference and events which he financed in part.
40:57
Will Check toll BuzzFeed News by email. I was not
41:00
aware of the serious charges against him until quite recently.
41:03
Oh yeah, I'm sure nobody had any idea. Huh. All
41:07
these smart, motherfucking scientists had no idea what was going on.
41:11
Other scientists who attended meetings back by Epstein or flew
41:15
on his private jets face criticism this week on Twitter.
41:18
Harvard's psychologist Stephen Pinker, pictured in two thousand and four
41:22
at ASU with Epstein and Kraus, distanced himself from the
41:26
disgraced financier pedophile you mean, and mister Pinker, who I
41:30
have never even spoken to, block me on Twitter right away.
41:34
I wonder why. I'm sure it has nothing to do
41:36
with being close over the target. Right My appearing in
41:40
a couple of photos with Epstein is a bitter irony
41:43
for me because, unlike a number of friends and colleagues,
41:46
I can never stand the guy and always tried to
41:48
keep my distance. Pinker told BuzzFeed News by email, frankly,
41:52
I never understood why so many colleagues treated him as
41:55
a serious intellectual in twenty sixteen. In twenty seventeen, Ebstein's
42:00
donations included two hundred and twenty five thousand dollars to
42:03
the Melanoma Research Alliance, one hundred and fifty thousand to MIT,
42:08
fifty thousand to the University of Arizona Foundation, twenty five
42:12
thousand to Nautilus Think, which publishes an online science magazine,
42:17
twenty thousand to the Crones and Colitis Foundation, and ten
42:21
thousand to the Icon School of Medicine. These payments are
42:24
documented in filings to the irs from another of Epstein's foundations,
42:29
Gratitude America MIT declined to comment on the money it received.
42:34
While donors, including foundations, may confirm their contributions to the institute,
42:40
MIT does not typically comment on the details of gifts
42:44
or gift arrangements. MIT spokesperson Kimberly Allen told BuzzFeed News
42:49
by email. University of Arizona spokesperson Pam Scott said the
42:53
school was unaware of Epstein's involvement in Gratitude America when
42:57
it accepted the donation, which was used to support a conference.
43:02
BuzzFeed News also reached out for a comment to other
43:05
organizations that received grants from Gratitude America, but they did
43:10
not immediately respond, but at least one organization is now
43:14
considering whether to give the money it received from Epstein
43:18
after his two thousand and eight conviction. General Marshall, a
43:21
spokesperson for the Santa Fe Institute, to all BuzzFeed News
43:24
by email that received two hundred and fifty thousand from
43:27
Epstein before two thousand and seven, before his crimes were known.
43:32
The twenty five thousand dollars donation in twenty ten prompted
43:35
our leadership to decide not to accept any additional funds
43:39
from mister Epstein or related sources. She added, what a liar, God,
43:43
what a liar. Marshall said that the Santa Fe Institute
43:47
was now considering whether to donate the twenty five thousand
43:50
to charity, perhaps an organization that works with victims of
43:53
sex trafficking, because you know that makes everything so much better.
43:57
We're going to donate this to a different organization. Here's
44:00
an idea, don't accept it in the first place. So
44:05
as you can see here, folks, the rot of Jeffrey
44:07
Epstein is not isolated to just one sector of our lives.
44:12
This man's rot was infecting just about everything, from politics
44:17
to finances to academia. And while Jeffrey Epstein is dead
44:22
and Glenn Maxwell's enjoying herself at Camp FED, there is
44:25
still so much of this story that has been untold,
44:29
and until we get those answers and that transparency, there
44:32
will be no moving on, only digging in. All of
44:37
the information that goes with this episode can be found
44:40
in the description box. What's up everyone, and welcome back
44:44
to the Epstein Chronicles. When we talk about Jeffrey Epstein
44:49
being a patron of science and being somebody who donated
44:54
to a lot of these universities. We have to talk
44:57
about Harvard now, Jeffrey Epstein, don't I had a ton
45:00
of money to the genetics research department over at Harvard.
45:04
And because he was such a big donor, all of
45:07
the people who he was associating with and all of
45:10
the people he was donating to, they all knew that
45:12
he was a sex offender. Yet they continued to take
45:15
his money, they continued to meet with them, and they
45:18
continue to accept his hospitality. Then when called out on it,
45:22
all of them had the same excuse, right, the same denials. Oh,
45:26
we had no idea what he was. All we were
45:29
doing was trying to get donations for our department. Well,
45:33
here's the reality. There's other people out there where you
45:36
could have gotten those donations. All of you people chose
45:39
to have a relationship with this dude, even after he
45:43
was a convicted sex offender. So you have no one
45:46
to blame but yourself when you find yourself the target
45:50

45:55
Here's an idea. Don't hang out with people like Jeffrey
45:57
Epstein if you don't want to deal with the blowbot.
46:01
Today's article is from NBC News and the headline Harvard
46:06
science professors kept meeting with donor Jeffrey Epstein despite his
46:10
offender's status. This article was originally posted on July twelfth
46:15
of twenty nineteen. The author of this article is Laura Strickler.
46:22
Disgraced Hedge Fund manager Jeffrey Epstein was attending on campus
46:26
meetings as recently as twenty fourteen with professors at Harvard University,
46:33
a school he supported with at least one multimillion dollar donation,
46:37
even though the registered sex offenders ties to the school
46:41
had already raised questions. You see, that's what it's all
46:43
about for these people. It's all about the money, right,
46:46
How can you help me move my project forward? What
46:51
everybody seemed to forget throughout this whole entire escapade was
46:55
all of the survivors that were left in the wake here.
46:58
What do you think they thought when they would look
47:00
at the news and see that these donations were being made,
47:04
or that Jeffrey Epstein was at this campus or that campus.
47:08
Do you think that that made them feel good or
47:10
that they can come forward and rat this dude out
47:13
without any sort of blowback? Of course not so. It
47:17
all played a part in enabling this dude's abuse. For
47:19
all of these years. Epstein, who donated six and a
47:24
half million dollars the Harvard's Program for Evolutionary Dynamics in
47:28
two thousand and three, had phone calls, meetings, and meals
47:32
with members of the Harvard faculty at least six times
47:35
in twenty fourteen, according to the online personal calendar of
47:40
doctor George Church, a renowned geneticist who holds professorships at
47:44
Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Now
47:50
we're talking about some serious science, right, Geneticists were going
47:54
in there talking about gene therapy, changing genes out, transhumanism,
47:58
and all the rest of the weird shit that these
47:59
people are in. Now. Look, I'm not saying there's no
48:02
place for it and science there most certainly is. But
48:05
I have some concerns when Jeffrey Epstein is so interested
48:08
in it. What was he trying to do, Why was
48:11
he so interested in this portion of science, and what
48:14
was he doing with information he might have been learning
48:17
about these projects. On April twenty second, Epstein met with
48:23
Church at the Harvard Medical School's Genetics Department building. According
48:27
to the calendar, The two had a phone call the
48:30
next day he had lunch with Church on June twenty first,
48:33
according to the calendar. The entry for the note also
48:37
includes the notation Martin Noak's Institute. So all of these
48:41
people are people we have talked about several several times
48:45
already here on the podcast, and as we continue to
48:48
make our way through some of the older, more important
48:52
stories here, this one was certainly at the top of
48:55
the pile because it just shows you how deep the
48:57
rot went. It wasn't just business leader, it wasn't just politicians,
49:02
It was all of these scientists as well. So for me,
49:05
being so cynical, I asked myself, why would he surround
49:08
himself with all of these scientists? What was he hoping
49:10
to gain? And what was he doing with the information
49:14
that he was learning from these scientists? Was he just
49:17
sitting on it? Or was he preparing it and selling
49:20
it off to the highest bidder? Because we know he
49:22
had no loyalties, wasn't It wasn't like he was loyal
49:25
to America or anyone but himself, So he would sell
49:30
whatever he had, is my guest, to the highest bidder.
49:34
And what other reason would you be collecting all of
49:37
this compromount all of this information if it wasn't to
49:40
sell it at some point or to use it against
49:43
the people who you collected it from. So Epstein was
49:47
on some other shit. And my question has always been,
49:50
with these scientists, what else was going on? On April
49:58
twenty second, Epstein met with Church at the Harvard Medical
50:01
School's Genetic Department building, according to the calendar. The two
50:05
had a phone call the next day. He had lunch
50:07
with Church on June twenty first, according to the calendar.
50:11
The entry for the note also includes the notation Martin
50:14
Noak's institute. Noak, a Harvard professor of biology and mathematics,
50:19
is the director of the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics, the
50:23
project to which Epstein donated. So again, you can't get
50:27
away from that. If you're a George Church and you're
50:30
the Harvard Evolutionary Dynamics program, how are you going to
50:34
get away from this? Well, all you can do is
50:36
try to avoid it and act like it didn't happen.
50:39
And of course they'll say, well, we had no idea
50:41
what Epstein was and that's the defense. But it falls
50:45
on deaf ears, especially considering this was happening after his
50:49
first arrest. The program which Novak runs from an office
50:55
suite at one Brattle Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts, applies math
50:59
to genis to seek cures for cancer and other diseases.
51:04
Epstein has represented himself as a co founder of the program.
51:08
So look, these are their own words. They're associating with him.
51:12
He's calling himself the co founder of the program. Nobody
51:15
steps in to stop them, not till there was a
51:17
bunch of fury over their relationship with them. So how
51:21
can anyone look at these dudes and be like, oh, yeah,
51:23
you know what. You guys were on your game. You
51:25
just got bamboozled by this guy. Jeffrey Epstein a great
51:29
con man. He conjur you dudes. That's not the case.
51:32
They all knew, at the very least they should have known.
51:36
He was a sex offender, somebody that was busted for
51:39
quote unquote soliciting an underage girl for prostitution, meaning child abuse.
51:48
On September twelfth, Epstein and Church had another phone call,
51:51
which was followed by a teleconference call October twenty first
51:54
between Epstein and Church that also included James Clement, an
51:59
independent bio medical researcher who specializes in longevity. So that's
52:04
all we need right Epstein being able to live for
52:06
one hundred and fifty two hundred years, pass on that please.
52:10
On November thirtieth, the calendar lists a dinner with multiple attendees.
52:15
Dinner with Jeffrey Epstein, Joy Edo, Reid Hoffman, and Martin
52:19
Noak eight pm Martin Noak's Institute, one Brattle Square, Sweet six, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
52:26
The address matches the address for the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics.
52:31
So you have all the information you need here the
52:33
ties that bind all these people together. The question is
52:37
who really cares? Obviously nobody, because these dudes are still
52:40
doing what they're doing. Edo is an entrepreneur and journalist.
52:46
Hoffman is a venture capitalist and the co founder of
52:48
LinkedIn Church. Edo, Noak, and Clement did not respond to
52:53
requests for comment. Church did not respond to questions about
52:57
who else might have attended the meetings and whether Martin
53:00
Noac's institute refers to the Program of Evolutionary Dynamics. Hoffman
53:05
declined to comment. See this is the thing the problem
53:08
that I have all of these declined to comments, declined
53:11
to comments, declined to comments. Why why not just come
53:15
out and say what's what? Look I had no idea
53:18
what was going on. I was invited to this meeting.
53:20
Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. But when you say, oh,
53:23
I have no idea, nobody told me I didn't know
53:27
how to tie my shoes. I mean, do they really
53:29
expect us to believe this nonsense? All the meetings were
53:33
presumably related to genetics research. It is not known whether
53:37
any of the participants were aware of Epstein's status as
53:41
a registered sex offender. Oh what a likely excuse. Oh,
53:44
we had no idea. Yeah, it wasn't all over the
53:47
news or anything. And again, the smartest people in the
53:50
room were talking about the most bright minds in the
53:53
whole entire world, right, but they're too stupid to know
53:57
that they're breaking bread with a child molester. Epstein is
54:01
now facing separate federal sex trafficking charges in New York.
54:04
Lawyers for Epstein did not respond to request for comment.
54:08
Church's twenty fourteen calendar, which was attached to his personal website,
54:13
was temporarily removed from the Internet after ABC News made
54:16
inquiries to Harvard. It was then restored to the site,
54:20
but in a less prominent position. The calendar link on
54:23
the site now defaults to a current twenty nineteen schedule.
54:27
You see what they try and do. They always try
54:29
and hide this shit. They always try and you know, obfuscate,
54:33
and then they act like people are crazy when they
54:35
ask questions. But the proof is here. All you have
54:38
to do is go back and put the pieces together.
54:40
Take the time to do it. A Harvard official told
54:45
NBC News the university does not control whom faculty members
54:49
meet with or whom they talk to. In two thousand
54:52
and six, after the public learned of state and federal
54:55
investigations into Epstein's alleged sexual contacts with miners, RVVERD spokesperson
55:00
told a reporter for the campus newspaper that the university
55:04
would not be returning Epstein's six and a half million
55:07
dollar gift. Imagine the audacity of this place. As much
55:11
money as they're bringing in from students as it is,
55:14
they don't want to return the six and a half
55:16
million dollars. The Harvard Crimson article also noted that when
55:20
Epstein made his initial donation, he had agreed to consider
55:23
raising his total contribution to thirty million dollars after a
55:28
review of the program's progress. As of two thousand and six.
55:32
According to the Crimson article, the university said that review
55:35
had not occurred. Epstein touted his affiliation with Harvard long
55:40
after agreeing to federal and state plea deals, pleading guilty
55:44
to a single state charge, and registering as a sex
55:46
offender in two thousand and eight, so that right there
55:49
should preclude him from having any relationship with Harvard or
55:53
any other university. A bio published on the web in
55:58
twenty fourteen by Epstein Foundation said mister Epstein is the
56:02
founder of the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics at Harvard University.
56:07
The program has developed critical mathematical models of how viruses
56:11
and cancer cells evolve. You know, what's the deal with
56:14
all of these billionaires thinking that they're virologists and doctors
56:18
and shit, here's an idea. Go work on your stupid
56:21
money programs and Bill Gates. You can go and work
56:24
on computer programs. Not everybody's a doctor, okay. In a
56:30
two thousand and three Vanity Fair article that referred to
56:33
Epstein the Epstein Program for Mathematical Biology and Evolutionary Dynamics
56:38
at Harvard, Epstein said he was reluctant to have his
56:41
name attached to the program, but Harvard President Larry Summers
56:45
persuaded him again. Mister Summer's name. You see a trend?
56:49
Heariet the earlier article, this article. Yeah, we're gonna be
56:53
talking a little bit more about mister Summers. A Harvard
56:56
source said the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics has never born
57:00
Epstein's name. Yeah, sure, used his money though, right. Epstein's
57:05
press releases have repeatedly referred to a thirty million dollar
57:08
gift he made the Harvard in two thousand. A Harvard
57:11
source familiar with Epstein's donations was unaware of any significant
57:15
gift to Harvard other than his initial six and a
57:18
half million dollar donation in two thousand and three. Yeah,
57:22
as if six and a half millions just peanuts, right.
57:25
A Harvard spokesperson said the university does not comment on
57:29
specific gifts. Harvard declined comment in December twenty and eighteen
57:33
when The Crimson asked again if the school would return
57:36
Epstein's money. Epstein, who has been photographed wearing Harvard gear,
57:40
did not attend the university. He attended Cooper Union and
57:44
New York University without graduating. See. I won't hold that
57:48
against him. I don't think that you need to be
57:50
a college graduate to be a successful person. But what
57:53
I will say is this guy was fronting and flossing
57:56
so hard that it is almost laughable. He wanted to
58:01
be smart so bad that he was willing to pay
58:04
top dollar just to be associated with these people. And
58:07
then on the flip side of that, what else was
58:10
he doing with all of the information he was garnering
58:12
from them? See that for me has never been answered.
58:15
He wanted to collect scientists, but what was he collecting
58:18
them for? And still we don't have too many answers
58:21
as far as that goes. But there you have it again, folks,
58:24
just another example of how Jeffrey Epstein's stench permeates every
58:30
level of our society. If you'd like to contact me,
