- 0:05Drama, Darling Drama, Darling Drama, Darling. Hey, everybody, what's
- 0:20up? It is Thursday already, and Emily Dereesis is here. Hello Emilia,
- 0:27Hello, and greetings from uh not the Valley. Ah, I am
- 0:33beyond. I'm in my own little valley over here. I'm like the valley
- 0:37times too. I'm like like the lower level, you know what I mean.
- 0:41It's like the valley and then Santa Clarita Valley is where I'm at.
- 0:46Yeah, because you still kind of get the temps. You get those valley
- 0:48temperatures, don't you, Oh, worse probably than you know. We're the
- 0:53in valley village. We even get it worse. Yeah. Well, we
- 0:57are doing the Valley today and I'm so excited. I'm really jazzed and really
- 1:00pumped. I like, we'll get into it, but I really loved it
- 1:06and I'm really excited about this season. Are you feeling that way too,
- 1:08Emily? I had no business, no want, no need for this show,
- 1:14and now I'm so in, so well done. On the edit of
- 1:18the pilot, I loved it, well, love it, love it,
- 1:22as Brittany would say. And you know, I've been waiting forever if anybody
- 1:26knows me. Anybody knows me. They know I all my time at Serious
- 1:33XM. I just was always obsessed with Brittany and I just have always loved
- 1:38Brittany. And I was campaigning for her to come back to vander Palm Rules.
- 1:42Without Jack's she would just you know, pull up to sir or wherever,
- 1:48and she'd be like, yeah, Jake's is in the car, don't
- 1:49worry about Eddie boy, what's going out? Lallow. So now we have
- 1:56her all to ourselves. And well, yeah, until the Free Brittany movement
- 2:02happened, and now she is living in the Free Brittany movement started by Jacks.
- 2:09Yes, exactly. Yeah, right, So we're doing the Valley today.
- 2:15Tomorrow's Summer House. The bonus episode is Housewife in the Hustler to the
- 2:22Reckoning, Yes, ma'am, Emily, And I did that yesterday. Emily.
- 2:28I was actually just editing that and putting it up on the Patreon,
- 2:31you know, and and I I was like scrubbing through to find like the
- 2:38sample audio clip for the video clip whatever. And it's like the beginning when
- 2:43I go when Erica sits down, you know, in Paul's ice Cream,
- 2:46and and they're like, have you seen She's like, I don't know what
- 2:51to say, and then they're like have you seen Housewife and the Hustler?
- 2:55And then you go you did an Erica and you're like, Eddie, no,
- 3:07but I was like, but the way she said it was that it
- 3:10was like that, she was like, Eddie, just like making me laugh
- 3:16so hard today. I was dying this morning, Adie. It's like,
- 3:22and you still don't know who the victims are, not one, not a
- 3:24one. You can't even mention Joe uh Rigomez. You can't even mention one,
- 3:30not one, you know, yeah, even a first name, anything,
- 3:36description, Just give me something, yeah please? Uh So that's up
- 3:43over on the Patreon and bye gosh, guys, get on over there patreon
- 3:47dot com slash drama Darling. Join the cult and be a part of it.
- 3:53It's super fun. And we before we do get into the valley,
- 4:00you have a little bit of dish to serve up today. I mean Wolf
- 4:04is right serving dish. Yeah, Emily, Wolf is right. Now let's
- 4:13dive in. So another housewife has fallen from the ranks and has really devastated
- 4:20all of us, and thank god she's okay, and thank god, no
- 4:24one was hurt, but Real Housewives of Potomac star Karen Huger has been charged
- 4:29with a DUI after totaling her Maserati in a high speed crash. She has
- 4:35been charged with driving under the influence. She's also been charged with other line
- 4:42items as well, and as it turns out, she was not arrested,
- 4:49which is very very strange strange. The finds associated with her charges ranged from
- 4:57fifty to five hundred and ten and will require court appearances. She she reported
- 5:03that or She claimed that she was coming home from dinner with a friend and
- 5:09they were discussing serious topics. Before we discussing, I mean, can you
- 5:15imagine, Oh, we had very emotional conversations about my mother, and I
- 5:19just I was kinding ninety miles an hour. I was crying and yes,
- 5:25I don't know, it's immediate, right, I mean, it is spun
- 5:30like the grand damme can spin. She says that a vehicle was heading toward
- 5:33her as thing as that happens when you're driving, you know, And she
- 5:40saw that vehicle called sobriety and you swerved to miss it. Whooooo. She
- 5:46it caused her to swerve away and lose control. Yeah. Uh, huh
- 5:53yeah, yeah, not good. It was a luxury twenty seventeen Maserati.
- 5:59This was Tuesday evening. She struck a median and a crosswalk sign at an
- 6:03intersection before finally colliding with a parking sign. It says that she was driving
- 6:10in an aggressive manner ahead of her crash. Dude, this is so insane.
- 6:15I just I know, like again, so lucky, really so lucky
- 6:21that shbody was hurt, Shannon hitting that house, Karen hitting you know,
- 6:29everything around and it's just like, I don't understand how these people and everyone's
- 6:35saying it, like take an uber, take a lift, how about plan
- 6:41out your evening where if you are driving, cut it off. You know.
- 6:46Six traffic violations. Well, I mean, of course, like there's
- 6:50so many things that go along with something like this, and this is so
- 6:54disappointing. Now I would have seen this. I wouldn't have seen this coming
- 6:58Emily, and I wouldn't have been tipped off to her drinking at all.
- 7:02Hadn't remember when Ashley Darby exposed Karen calling her drunk, Oh yeah, yes,
- 7:13yes, And that threw me for a loop. That was the first
- 7:16time anyone has ever eva mentioned anything about Karen remotely having an issue with alcohol,
- 7:26and that was a tip of the hat if you will. Ashley was
- 7:30kind of like laughing about it. But if you think about how Ashley does
- 7:33things, she was full on exposing Karen and really giving us a, you
- 7:39know, a hint as to what's going on there. And now I'm thinking
- 7:42she has a drinking problem clearly. Well, yeah, for sure. Yeah,
- 7:46And it's probably one of those types of you know, it's like where
- 7:51she can pull it off socially and it's not and it's not like abrupt and
- 7:58crazy and public, but I'm sure behind closed doors it's not fun. No.
- 8:05And it's weird because we've only seen Karen on that one cast trip and
- 8:09they were in that like weird bar and she was quite inebriated and she I
- 8:16don't remember she was talking about Ray and the finances or something like that,
- 8:20and she was defending herself and saying like she doesn't I can't remember exactly,
- 8:26but you know what I'm talking about. That was really the only time we've
- 8:30seen her somewhat inebriated on the show. Never right, She's always in control,
- 8:35isn't she She's well, yeah, from what we've seen I mean,
- 8:39there's been a couple times where it's like, I think she's feeling a little
- 8:41loose, but when she I feel like sometimes what we see is her the
- 8:52next day needing a drink, Her temper is short and interesting, her logic
- 8:58is off, you know what I mean. Like that's the Karen that we
- 9:01see more of getting to the next stre like that time in between when she
- 9:07doesn't have patience for anything stinging me so hard. I'm so sad, I
- 9:13am so disappointed. I mean, Karen is like one of my top five
- 9:16housewives. Yeah, no, she definitely. You know, she's the grand
- 9:22dumb for a reason, Like she, to me, will never lose that
- 9:26title. But now it's a little bit in question for me. I have
- 9:30to say I want her the thing that makes me nervous about Karen, which
- 9:35didn't make me I mean, Shannon was a different thing altogether. But the
- 9:41accountability level in Karen and the humility doesn't totally exist there, which is one
- 9:48reason I love her in that way, because it's like she's immune from all
- 9:52wrongdoings according to Karen. Yeah, so I just hope that that changes so
- 10:00that she can really deal with this. Would you like to hear her statement.
- 10:05Yes, oh she has had a statement since this. Yes, my
- 10:09mother. We were talking about my mother. Okay, good, what is
- 10:13it? Oh well, I don't know, maybe you've seen this, but
- 10:18it does say her mother in here. But okay, well I'll just read
- 10:20it. Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes during this frightening experience.
- 10:28All right, like already I'm going you weren't a victim in this,
- 10:33you know this is this must have been this morning? Yeah, okay,
- 10:39oh wow, all right, okay, so thank you for your prayers and
- 10:43well wishes. Hope you're okay from your deu. I'm still in shock from
- 10:48last night's incident, but grateful to be alive with the passing of my beloved
- 10:54mother. Grief comes and goes in waves, and with Mother's Day a pro
- 11:00coaching guys, that's in May. It's in May. Okay, we're not
- 11:07even in April yet. I don't mean to downplay anyone's grief because look,
- 11:15cvs, I'm sure all the places are popping up with Mother's Day. Yes,
- 11:18okay, so all right, so well, I guess I'll backpedal on
- 11:22that. But anyway, I mean, are they they were still working on
- 11:26Easter. Okay, yeah, no, you're right. With Mother's Day approaching,
- 11:33it has felt more like a tsunami. Last night, I met a
- 11:37girlfriend for dinner. We talked and brought up some very emotional sensitive topics.
- 11:43I was crying on my way home and saw a car heading right for me.
- 11:48I swerved to avoid the head on collision, hit the divider and then
- 11:54a tree. I am hurt, bruised up a bit, but so grateful.
- 11:56I'm alive. I did receive sights. I did receive citations, one
- 12:05of which was unrelated to the incident but was understandable. But what was most
- 12:11surprising is that the car that almost hit me just drove away. Okay,
- 12:16So we have so many pivots here into not accepting responsibility for driving under the
- 12:22influence. H It's like she's pinning it on the other person that she saw
- 12:31a car heading right for her. Was it really that or was it that
- 12:35you were heading right for that car? Yes? And also that that person
- 12:41drove away. Okay, so she's eluding, Oh, well they were drunk
- 12:48too, you know what I'm saying? Like or they there was basically not
- 12:54a hit and run, but similar like I was left in the I was
- 12:58the victim here. I was left drunk and injured. And meanwhile, did
- 13:07you see the remnants of that maserati? I didn't. I heard I read
- 13:13the description, but that is crazy because it was it had to be put
- 13:16on like a flatbed tow truck, like it couldn't be moved. It was
- 13:22a wreck. I can't believe she only has a few bruises, no accountability
- 13:30for drinking and driving in this. And I understand they'll probably be legal stuff
- 13:35going on here, and much like you can't really say that, you're not
- 13:37gonna want to admit anything, but this is absolutely insane and it's so sad.
- 13:45I'm so sad, and I'm like, we could have lost her and
- 13:50other people. This could have been so much worse. You said it to
- 13:54begin with, like thank god no one was hurt. Again again, yeah,
- 14:00these housewives and they're du Why's I mean? I would have been said
- 14:03to lose Karen, but I would have been more said if she killed somebody,
- 14:07and absolutely, because that's just like I don't getting through that as a
- 14:13family. I just don't understand that. It seems impossible absolutely, I mean
- 14:18in terms of the victims, not Karen's family, right, Yeah, but
- 14:22yeah, well everyone's lives are ruined forever goodbye. Yeah. Yeah, it's
- 14:28really hard to be those victims. And then watch old episodes of Karen never
- 14:35taking accountability, be like, this person is anyway not good. I'm gonna
- 14:43put that in the category of not good. Good. Yeah, that's good.
- 14:46That's a good place to put it. In other news, Anne Marie
- 14:52was in fact fired from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and she put
- 15:00out a statement, did you read this, Let's say contract not renewed.
- 15:05She wasn't fired. Sure, she's not getting a new contract. Sure,
- 15:09fired again is like cut mid season for something horrible. Not renewed is different?
- 15:16Okay, sure, absolutely, I think you're right. Yeah, all
- 15:22right, She says, I got word today that I will not be returning
- 15:26the Real Houses of Beverly Hills. To say that, I'm disappointed. As
- 15:28an understatement, I never auditioned for this show. The show found me and
- 15:31asked me to be on it out of the blue, six weeks after the
- 15:35cast had already started filming. That's interesting. I was thrown into filming two
- 15:41weeks later mid season. I was very excited about the opportunity and I thought
- 15:43following, I thought, following exactly what I was instructed to do throughout filming
- 15:48last season was the way the in quote unquote game was played. Listening to
- 15:54what was instructed to do was my rookie mistake. What I am disappointed about
- 15:58is that the fans never got to see the real me or even a glimpse
- 16:03of my unique life story and uh, the controversy going on with my husband.
- 16:11Kidding, it doesn't say that they really must have been desperate for someone
- 16:18to join the cast, because for them to not vet that a little bit
- 16:21more and know what's going on with her husband and the allegations, it's pretty
- 16:26short sighted. Well, had the allegations had I don't think the allegations had
- 16:30come out yet, had they? Or you think there were I think there
- 16:33were rumblings for a really long like you didn't have to look too deep.
- 16:37Yeah, I mean, it happened, and these allegations are from the nineties,
- 16:41so and it was it's my I mean because basically just about as soon
- 16:47as well, Yeah, the charges, the allegations were out there, I
- 16:52think, and then those charges came after she was on Yeah pretty sure,
- 16:59after she was cast, yes, yeah, right, because we were all
- 17:03kind of excited about this new wife and then yeah, you know, I
- 17:08you know, no one's surprised, and yeah, no one surprised. Like
- 17:15it's kind of weird to know that, like there was someone on there who
- 17:19had whose husband had such a controversial, horrible scandal happening, and it was
- 17:23never addressed even in the reunion and anything like that, and nothing is mentioning
- 17:29it here. She's never mentioned it. Blah blah blah, which is why
- 17:33it's going to be a clean break and move on. That's that. Yeah,
- 17:37you know, I feel like, you know what, though, maybe
- 17:41Bethany's gonna come for her because she's gonna think that she got a raw deal
- 17:45and Bethany will be like, come aboard the legal train. But I feel
- 17:52like, uh, well, yeah, I don't know. It's tough.
- 17:56She sounds like she had a lot of power in that negotiation. Initially,
- 18:00I wonder if she could have been like, look, if you're gonna bring
- 18:03me on this late, I need some kind of guarantee for next the next
- 18:06season. I went like some something, because it sounds like to bring her
- 18:11on that late and to be like, whatever it takes, we need you
- 18:15on here. I would be like, okay, well, oh they would
- 18:18never negotiate next season. Never nev y yeah, Neva yeah wow. I
- 18:26wonder if they would though, if there was someone that they really really wanted.
- 18:30I think, uh ooh, what am I thinking? What am I
- 18:34thinking? When you say that it's jogging a memory and I want to say,
- 18:40like maybe Denise or something. Say there's somebody that had like some serious
- 18:45clouts outside of the show. It might have been Denise that I thought she
- 18:52got you know, she was able to really yeah, ask and get what.
- 18:56Yeah, like she maybe negotiated for two seasons and for a bigger amount,
- 19:02and then she never ended up coming back the second season. So yeah,
- 19:07right, yeah, anyway, well yeah, we'll let the darlings figure
- 19:11that out in the comments. Yeah. Other news is that today is the
- 19:15eighteenth year anniversary of Orange County premiere. Oh yeah, it can vote,
- 19:25Orange can vote, yes, jesus, I know, I know. And
- 19:32Andy's posting like old throwback pictures and Vicky is and everybody is, and it's
- 19:37just it's all so nostalgic and to see Joe and Vicky's old face, it's
- 19:45so wild where we are today. I mean, it really is a reflection
- 19:48eighteen years you guys, like, I feel like these shows are here to
- 19:55stay. It still feels so new to me, Like I can't imagine,
- 20:00and like there are people out there that are full on adults that this has
- 20:03been their whole life, that these shows have existed. Yeah, like someone
- 20:07saying, I remember when I was pregnant with my daughter while I was watching
- 20:11the first episode. You know, meanwhile, my daughter's at college right now,
- 20:18right. Lifetimes have happened. So many faces of VICKI have happened,
- 20:23the faces of Viki, the three faces of Vicky, probably more, but
- 20:32well anyway, So congratulations, Happy anniversary to Orange County. Very happy about
- 20:36that, guys. This episode is sponsored by Factor. These are ready to
- 20:41eat meals and gosh, am I ready. I have never been happier when
- 20:45I got my box of ready to eat meals from Factor. I. Brett
- 20:51and I both like jumped into these so fast for lunch and for dinner.
- 20:56They're never frozen, Niva eva frozen, So that's why they're afresh. They're
- 21:03ready in two minutes. Boom, put in the microwave, Boom, It's
- 21:07done. And my gosh, I have a lot going on and the reason
- 21:12why I love these is because I don't always like to cook, and neither
- 21:15does Brett. So you can heat and eat wherever you are. Pancakes,
- 21:23smoothies, you can get a wide variety of options from breakfast to snacks and
- 21:30more. There's no prep, there is no mess. You can do this
- 21:36flexibly. Is that even a word? This is flexible? Flexibly? Thank
- 21:42you for coning. Okay, well, flexibility, Okay, there's flexibility with
- 21:48this because you can work it with your schedule, so you can choose your
- 21:52meals every week. You can pause or reschedule. Also, and these are
- 21:56really really good meals. I was so in trusted when I ate them,
- 22:00and I'm so psyched aus I feel like I will be a customer for life.
- 22:06Also, if you do a lot of takeout or delivery, they have
- 22:11done the math and Factor says that it's less expensive than takeout and also their
- 22:18dietitian approved to be nutritious. So and I already told you they're freaking good.
- 22:22They're delicious. So head on over to factormeals dot com slash drama fifty
- 22:29and use code drama fifty to get fifty percent off. That's code drama fifty
- 22:33at Factor meals dot com slash drama fifty to get fifty percent off, I
- 22:37will put this link in the podcast notes, guys, so you can take
- 22:41advantage of amazing factor meals. Now, Emily, why don't we get into
- 22:48the valley called duh? Oh boy, oh boy? Yeah? I feel
- 22:53like this is a this is a treat because it's been a minute since there's
- 22:59been a new show that I have immediately been on board with. How is
- 23:03this possible? We were all so poised to hate it, Like, it's
- 23:08wild to me how they got us on board. Maybe we weren't poised to
- 23:12hate it. Maybe we got you know what it was, Emily. We
- 23:15were tainted by the Jackson Brittany overload of press about their separation, and we
- 23:22felt like we were being taken advantage of and they were just doing that to
- 23:26get eyes on the valley and we will not be forced And that's where people
- 23:33started to like get turned off. But well, my my reluctance was when
- 23:38the show was announced and I was like, oh my god, like,
- 23:42how hard are they going to milk this scandival thing? The show would have
- 23:45never existed without Scanda all because that made Jack's relevant again in terms of like
- 23:52he started getting all this work because he and Brittany were speaking so much about
- 23:56it and getting so much press, and so I just felt a little taken,
- 24:00like this was the last gasp of the Sandoval successes. Yeah, like
- 24:04the death rattle of scandal. Yes, yes, yeah, And so I
- 24:08I like, I think that's where I was like whatever, But do you
- 24:18remember when before, like there was all the cancels, Before people were canceled
- 24:23like Stassy and Jack's and Kristen, there was a show that they were going
- 24:30to do, I believe called vander Pump Valley. So that was already that
- 24:36that was during COVID. Yes, so that was cooking and that was going
- 24:40to happen. So what ended up happening was it had to be like repackaged
- 24:45and put on the back burner. Who knew when that was ever going to
- 24:49come out and everyone thought that would never happen. But then cut too.
- 24:52I mean, it's four years later and here we are and we have a
- 24:59whole cast people that I can't get their names straight to save my life.
- 25:03Well you will by next episode, good luck to me. But and I
- 25:08know that everyone's gonna be like forgiving about it because they're in the same boat.
- 25:12Yeah. People were dming me being like, is there a cheat sheet?
- 25:17Like how can we get how can we get through this together? When
- 25:21most of these men and women look exactly like each other and their names start
- 25:26with to Jay, you know, like it's just too much. But that
- 25:30being said, Emily and I mentioned this, I did it for love is
- 25:34blind by the way, we got all those j's because they were all Jays,
- 25:38so we can do it for the valley. You know what I mentioned
- 25:42on the Patrion episode yesterday when we were recapping vander Pump Rules, And I'd
- 25:47love to get this conversation going love to hear your thoughts about this. But
- 25:52if you didn't see the news, Emily, Sheena and Brock are moving to
- 25:56the valley. They were moving, the movers were there. She did like
- 26:02see the house a great I did see this. Okay, I didn't see
- 26:07the house. Well, I saw that they she bought it. She bought
- 26:10that house a couple of weeks ago. I did see that. Isn't that
- 26:12the house she bought? Oh that's right, we did see it. Why
- 26:15did I forget about that? Oh my god? Okay, So no,
- 26:18I just saw the moving truck. She was like thanks at Valley Movers,
- 26:23Like you know what it means they were packing up. It was an ad
- 26:26for the moving company, is what I'm saying, which I love because all
- 26:30of the most a lot of BRA celebrities do get a good, you know,
- 26:36bag of cash when they hashtag a moving company. I've seen it happen
- 26:40everywhere, and I think that's really smart to do. But Sina moving to
- 26:44the Valley, that's huge. Which here's my question. Is vanderbumb Rules going
- 26:51to go away and be basically repackaged as the Valley and we will have ultimately
- 26:56almost everyone from vander Palm Rules on that, but it will make more sense
- 27:02because now we're not working in these bars. Now we have houses in the
- 27:04valley. Everyone's starting to have kids. Is vander Pump Rules going away?
- 27:10Is it? Yes? Okay? Wow? Wow? Oh but duh?
- 27:17No hesitation over here? Okay? Well but okay, prior to Scanda all
- 27:23we all thought it was gonna go away anyway, and Lisa was going to
- 27:27move it to Vegas or one of her other cities. Yeah, I could
- 27:30see that happening. Banner Pump Rules Vegas, Banner Pump Rules Tahoe like that.
- 27:37I can see happening if she has lightning in a bottle with a different
- 27:41like staff. But I, you know, I don't know. I think
- 27:45that Vanner Pump Rules as we know it is going to definitely for whatever reason,
- 27:53as an audience, we cannot handle a new cast member on that show.
- 27:59We rejected so hard and so it has not allowed the show to grow.
- 28:04Yeah, well, I don't know if it's us rejecting or the cast
- 28:07rejecting, so we just go with that energy. I don't know, but
- 28:12like the fact we the only thing we will accept is a James Kennedy girlfriend.
- 28:18Otherwise you're dust. Yes, that's all. And everybody loves Alley's he
- 28:23it's a weird thing where if James Kennedy is immediately connected to that person,
- 28:30then we will all get on board. I think that's kind of why Lalla
- 28:33was acceptable. So I think like because they're not they were together. But
- 28:40yeah, so many people are already on the valley that I can't even imagine
- 28:44the cast from Banner Pump Rules in so many ways going over there, and
- 28:48like, you know, it's just going to be way too many people.
- 28:49But I could see them, you know, figuring out with this new cast
- 28:56of the Valley, who's gonna you know, who has long term stay ability?
- 29:03And then you start to weave in these friends like oh, she know
- 29:07will easily be on the Valley next season, like Sheena and Brock and Summer
- 29:11Marvon Hunting, They'll all be there. Okay, Laala lives in Westwood.
- 29:17She's not technically in the Valley. However, I could see her being like
- 29:21friend of Arianna and Tom friends of and I could potentially even see just to
- 29:29spice things up here and there you get a sand of all pop in with
- 29:32Jack's every once in a while. But the days of Sandoval I think will
- 29:36be done when we wrap up vander pump Rolls, because I don't think anyone
- 29:40will ever be able to stomach him again, period dot. But if he
- 29:44lives in the Valley, right, what am I wrong? Katie Mloney?
- 29:48How dare you? How did you truven? She has been had this show
- 30:02from day one hurdles. She literally told Sheena to give her hours with Stassy
- 30:14in the opening shot. I'm sorry, Wow, I am really humiliated on
- 30:26my own podcast. Thank you for pointing that out, Emily. But anyway,
- 30:33she won't be on the valley. She won't be honest. Mm hmm,
- 30:41I cannot right now, I can't. Why can I never have one
- 30:48moment where it can be about me? I died when fucking Sheena pulls up
- 30:55to this themed out County Fair to the Max party, and she was like,
- 31:03no one ever told me there was a thing. She was gonna lose
- 31:07her. I thought she was gonna explode, even though she didn't really show.
- 31:11She was like, oh, she was suppressing that anger. And I
- 31:14was like, please lose it on the fact that you weren't told about this
- 31:18theme. Please have a meltdown. I want it so bad, but I
- 31:21love like they didn't tell people about this amazing theme. Oh they told some
- 31:26people, the people their friends, Like real close, you could tell who
- 31:29Brittany's hilly friends wish and who she's not, except for like obviously the guest
- 31:33of honor. She wanted to be a surprise right right right, people were
- 31:37dressed right. The saddest that she didn't get to dress like Daisy Duke,
- 31:42Oh my god, pigtails. You know, Like she wanted to go there.
- 31:48She wanted to so bad. She was like, summer rooms, not
- 31:51even here, And I could have done. She could have brought it,
- 31:56you know, Brock underneath was probably like, yeah, I could have done
- 31:59something. Teeth. God would have come shirtless with tattoos. Oh my god,
- 32:06that blow deck mullet they pull out for the hillbilly party. Whatever the
- 32:10fun. And meanwhile, you know, I mean Brittany, we were told
- 32:17they have a whole storage unit full of like Halloween decorations. And I always
- 32:22shrow Brittany around the holidays because it's my favorite thing. She loves the holidays.
- 32:25She loves to decorate. She's like, you know, she's always gonna
- 32:30be that person that's gonna have live laugh, love nuggets, you know what
- 32:32I mean, Like on the wall, like you know, like here's where
- 32:36you sit, sit in pright, don't forget to shit, have a nice
- 32:39day. You know, there's gonna be like all kinds of signage on the
- 32:44walls. And then you you transition into these holidays and she goes nuts.
- 32:49She's like, gift wrap in my cupboards again, I got pillows up the
- 32:52stayers. She loves it, freaking loves it. So she's so two on
- 33:00top of it. It's not an annoying, overbearing going hard into a theme
- 33:05it's the sweetest way you could do it. I mean, that's why she's
- 33:08my favorite. Like, that's that you nailed it. And this party,
- 33:13like when everyone showed up and Jack's was like, uh yeah, it's kind
- 33:17of crazy out there. It's like I couldn't get my eyes really registered on
- 33:23what actually was happening because they there are there, there be a dunk tank,
- 33:29Like I couldn't believe the corn dog decorations, the actual corn dogs,
- 33:35the real tattoos was amazing. That is a thing right now. It is
- 33:40that people are doing yes what Yes. I have been to like three different
- 33:47just house parties, and then I was at like a non house party party
- 33:52and there are tattoo artists there giving you know, like simple one dimensional tattoos.
- 34:00Okay, I like it a kay on like for Kyle. Yeah,
- 34:05yeah, my friend is just at a wedding. Yes, exactly, exactly.
- 34:07My friend is just at a wedding, and that was the party favor
- 34:09to get a tattoo. Are you serious? Yes, it is a thing.
- 34:15Oh wow. I mean I think it's kind of a cool idea.
- 34:20I mean it's I will never. I will never. I will never,
- 34:23let's make that clear. But I was like who's going to get a tattoo
- 34:29at this party? And to see a line and to see a fight breakout
- 34:34as to who is going to be next to get a tattoo? Yes,
- 34:38I was like wow, and then you realize, like everybody here has tattoos,
- 34:43so what's one more? You know what I mean? Yeah, And
- 34:47I guess that's the thing that I've always thought with tattoos is like I'm not
- 34:52a tattoo person, so I but when I have entertained the idea, I
- 34:55get so wrapped up in the well, this is going to be forever.
- 35:00I need this to really represent me. Oh yes, instead of like I
- 35:05really want to remember this afternoon get together, I don't right want that.
- 35:10That's yeah exactly. I mean, but to your point, I mean,
- 35:15everybody has tattoos now, so it's not like a big deal, and like
- 35:19what is one more? So what is one more when you've got a lot
- 35:22of tattoos? And also like I always think about, well, what tattoo
- 35:28am I gonna get? It has to be something that's really really meaningful,
- 35:31like why or else why would I even have it on my body? So
- 35:36I'm getting an owl and a cheetah, I'm gonna get I should probably get
- 35:44an owl in a cheetah. I'll just get animals, you know, Yeah,
- 35:46you'll be a zoo zoo. I would both times. I will.
- 35:52Two times. Two different tattoo people were yelling at everybody at the party to
- 35:58be quiet because it was like messing up the their tattoo vibes. And I
- 36:01was like, it's a party that the people who the art, the tattoo
- 36:07artist, tattoo artists. Yeah wow. And then I'm like, well,
- 36:10then I definitely don't want a tattoo at a party. If the they're stressed
- 36:15out, yes, and they're having to like tell us how to act at
- 36:20the party, kids, calm down. Yeah. But the novelty of it,
- 36:27I get is very unique. Jack's setting up for this party, which
- 36:31there was some I mean, obviously they have party planners that's setting all this
- 36:36stuff up. But Jack's Brittany was like, Jake, can you finish blaming
- 36:40up that coor dog? You're not ain't doing nothing now. You haven't done
- 36:44nothing for nobody, nothing, And He's just like, I shouldn't have to
- 36:46do anything. I'm like, oh God, here we go. Uh,
- 36:50you know, shades of the upcoming separation which is all about Jack's just not
- 36:57decorating their house as much as Britney wants to. And I think that's their
- 37:00biggest problem. And look, I think they can work it out in marriage
- 37:06council. Emily, Emily, Emily. That's all it is. Funnel cakes,
- 37:12dunk take corn dogs. Just it was a lights out theme party.
- 37:16I was very thrilled to see it. I thought it was top shelf for
- 37:22a first episode of a new show to really deliver that kind of a pool
- 37:27party. So I'm all here for it. Yeah, I couldn't get over
- 37:31I mean, jack Yes to your point about the party. Great job,
- 37:36Brittany. I think Jackson is still under the impression that Brittany isn't the best
- 37:42thing about him, and he will never be able to embrace anything about Brittany.
- 37:46He spent the whole episode noting anybody that was in the room, just
- 37:51notes, just man explaining every body that came by him, men and women.
- 37:57The only thing I liked about jackson is whole episode was that he was
- 38:01worried about protecting his kid from the sun. I thought that was a very
- 38:06reducing part. That's right, Yeah, all right, Jakes, We're gonna
- 38:10walk down the straight over to Jess and Jane. It's and Jake, where
- 38:15are we going? Like there was no joy to Jack's at all. He
- 38:21was just pissy and like Brittany is so good that he I think he knows
- 38:28how good she is, so he has to spend all his time nitpicking so
- 38:34we can like, what are we gonna believe your shit? Jackson thinks she's
- 38:37an idiot? No, you I feel it's very sand of all what jack
- 38:43is doing where it's like, you know, oh, like you know that
- 38:46old flashback to him talking to Dodie like we never had sex, and same
- 38:51thing with Arianna and like the bullshit lists he created on Arianna and Dody.
- 38:55And I feel like Jack's is doing the same thing with Brittany and I I
- 39:00it makes me so mad. Yeah, well she's and she's a Jack's apologist,
- 39:04you know she's like, yes, I am so sorry they he pulled
- 39:07dead your payots. Oh I really did not want these to hyping Christy.
- 39:13I'm so sorry the Jake's is really shaving you as a potential bother. Jake
- 39:17he did waked up by it, ratdeo, you know, just having to
- 39:21apologize for him left and right. It is really, you know, tough
- 39:25to watch. And also what era are we in? Like what decade are
- 39:31we in that Jax is saying to Kristen or to whomever, are you having
- 39:37a kid out of wedlock? Wedlock? I know, I was like,
- 39:43is this like the sixteen hundredths? I honestly, Emily was like, whoa.
- 39:49I didn't even know people even use that word anymore, you know,
- 39:53because I remember hearing it probably like in the seventh when I was like two
- 40:01and my parents were like, you know, it was like, oh,
- 40:04yeah, you know, did you see so and so at church she had
- 40:07a baby out of wedlock? You know what I'm saying? Like that was
- 40:08where we were once a term is done, it's ancient and wedlock. I
- 40:15was just like, like, are you what are you afraid she won't be
- 40:17able to hire a wet nurse to come to the castle? Like, what
- 40:24are you talking about? Was in his commitment. He kept saying it over
- 40:29and over again, just like when are you going to stop saying wedlock?
- 40:32Stop saying wedlock? It's you. You've had two hours of being something that
- 40:39the audience can get their head around, is maybe an upstanding citizen, and
- 40:43you're gonna come at Dodie out of nowhere, like I hated it. Yeah,
- 40:47it was really rough. I'm just thinking, again, Wedlock, I
- 40:53can't get it. I almost I'm like, he's just gonna keep saying it
- 40:58until like we I don't know are we is? This is where I get
- 41:02confused with Jack's like, and it may be two things are true in this
- 41:07situation, which is that he really leans into being a horrible person for the
- 41:13sake of being a villain because he knows he is, and he knows that
- 41:15that's going to get ratings and he knows he can play that. And also,
- 41:20is he really does he know what he's doing? Like is he doing
- 41:25this on purpose? And times like that, I'm going I can't figure it
- 41:29out. Yeah, I think he can't help himself, like I said,
- 41:34like he's finally in a place where he has a little status in terms of
- 41:38the good guy category, and so he just can't He just has to like
- 41:44he thinks every opinion he has is like a ted talk like gather around kids
- 41:50and learn from Uncle Jack's. It's like, no, dude, you're we
- 41:54know you're still a wreck underneath. I'm not taking one bit of advice from
- 41:58you, but you won't stop giving it. Yeah, it is driving me
- 42:04nuts, but it is fun to watch. I am here for it because,
- 42:08for whatever reason, I am just relieved to be in a different situation
- 42:15with some of the people of yes yester year. Yeah, and you know,
- 42:19we have Kristen, we have Jack's, we have Brittany, and then
- 42:22we have this just slew of people who are about as vapid as La gets,
- 42:30you know what I mean, and for them to be raising families.
- 42:32I say, I don't think they're vapid. Well, you think they're vapid,
- 42:37Yeah, I do, see, I don't think. I don't feel
- 42:39like, yeah, like some of the housewives that we get to know seem
- 42:45vapid, but I don't get that vibe from these guys yet. I will
- 42:51say, there's I mean, this person who isn't vapid. He is a
- 42:53Jason, Jason the lawyer. He's not. Yeah, Jason, who's married
- 42:59to Janet and she's six month months pregnant. I don't think they're vapid,
- 43:05but I think the potential for vapidness that we haven't quite seen yet is absolutely
- 43:10there. But I mean, I listen, I could be wrong, but
- 43:14Jason and Janet, Janet, who is the one who was like taping watermelons
- 43:17and cantilopes to him to see, like like that's such a good idea,
- 43:22Like all men should do that so they know what it feels like. I
- 43:23love that. And her talking about how she's like, oh, yeah,
- 43:28Jason's afraid of me because I do well in prison, and that she had
- 43:30the primary bedroom when she was growing up. I was like this bitch,
- 43:34like all right, okay, crazy, but she got the absolutely nuts,
- 43:39absolutely nuts. I mean, Neva Eva would I here you go, Maddie,
- 43:46Maddie said, the other day, She's like, my room is kind
- 43:49of small, Like that's what it is. That's what it is. You
- 43:52know, I said, your room, your entire room. You're welcome.
- 43:57Yeah, get a full room, a full room exactly. I'm like,
- 44:00that's it. That is it, my friend. This is what you got.
- 44:06Maddie. Start looking online for organizing small spaces. Really learned to love
- 44:12it. Here, learn to love it. We'll get to that magazine that's
- 44:15like, what is it? Is it? That one magazine that's really cute.
- 44:20I don't think it's called small Spaces, but it's something along those lines.
- 44:22Domino, remember that magazine Domino. It was like, don't it was
- 44:28a decorating magazine. I remember from like the nineties. It was really cute.
- 44:32And he's like, remember almost like designing in small spaces. Anyway,
- 44:37Jesse and Michelle don't live in the valley. They live close to Chateau Marmont.
- 44:43And that's that's a guy right there that yausers. And this is the
- 44:47couple that has now in real time split and you can pretty much see why.
- 44:54Yeah, Like I really like so that's a great Like Jesse makes me
- 44:59really nervou this by the way, Yeah, did Kristin flick his nipple first
- 45:05and then he flicked hers? Or did she just shove his shoulder and then
- 45:08he did No, she did like a titty twister on him. Okay,
- 45:12so then why was she so offended that? I mean, I get why
- 45:15she would be offended in a lot of ways, but I just thought,
- 45:19but Kristin, you did that first? Like I was just like confused why
- 45:25she didn't think that When she did it to him, I was like whoa.
- 45:30And then when he did it back, I was like, well,
- 45:32I mean she just did it to him. I mean, you know,
- 45:37I did find I found her confessional to be uh, this is interesting because,
- 45:45like, I wonder what people are thinking about this. Obviously there's a
- 45:49difference between female nipples and male nipples. Correct, So that being said,
- 45:54he should not have touched her female nipples. Okay, she should not have
- 45:59done it to him, But I know what he's dealing with. I completely
- 46:01agree with that as well. So that being said, I'm like, look,
- 46:07it's not you know, ten years ago, you know it's not any
- 46:12We're a little bit more aware now for people's bodies and consent and things like
- 46:16that. Yeah, and I don't know how they know each other, Obviously
- 46:20they feel comfortable enough. I think I would have felt better if Kristen and
- 46:23her confessional wasn't like I can't believe he you know, he shouldn't be doing
- 46:27that. If she would have been like, he's like my brother, like
- 46:30we give titty twisters, like whatever, you know what I mean, I
- 46:32would have felt much better if it was under the umbrella of like I did
- 46:37that to him, he did that to me. All's fair in love and
- 46:40war kind of thing. But it did make it extremely awkward and I was
- 46:45uncomfortable. Yeah, I would have even been okay with her being like when
- 46:51he did it to me, I realized I shouldn't have done it to him,
- 46:54and I think I felt ten times more uncomfortable than he did. But
- 46:59that's where we're at something, right, Yes, exactly, you hit it
- 47:02on the head. I completely agree with you. Yeah, So that they
- 47:07live close to Chateau Marmont and they're like this place has what did they say,
- 47:13like so it's like freaking of like potential or I don't know. It
- 47:17just was such a weird way to describe their life, you know, it's
- 47:21like, so what so you live there? Right? Yes? Yeah,
- 47:25and I get it. I mean that is a hot spot and they have
- 47:29a toddler. I would neva eva want to live up in those Hollywood hills
- 47:35there. I just would never. No, they are so hard to navigate,
- 47:40and they're like the width of a mule trail some of these roads,
- 47:45and so you think there's no way it can be one way, and then
- 47:49all of a sudden, you're like behind two moving trucks and you're like going
- 47:53opposite direction and drive into this house or wait forty five minutes for them to
- 48:00figure this out? Right, Right, if you have any kind of like
- 48:06if you ever go visit someone over there, Like you really think your car
- 48:10is not going to it's going to be totally swiped by the time you get
- 48:14back to because there's nowhere to park, nowhere to park. Yeah, yeah,
- 48:17it's nuts. He you know, him saying like, I've never had
- 48:22my wife as my screensaver. I see her every day. I'm like,
- 48:24oh, that's rough. That's rough. Well, I didn't think it was
- 48:30that rough because I've thought like, oh, we're getting to know these guys
- 48:32are kind of like fun cash. It wasn't until later in the episode that
- 48:37I was like, yeah he is vapid. Yeah he is. And to
- 48:44think that he's like, yeah, she's transitioning and evolving into like motherhood and
- 48:51family and I'm just not I'm like, okay, So that was his one
- 48:55redeeming thing that he could identify that that he was able to like yeah,
- 49:00yeah, I'm not saying I'm writing him off for good, but he did
- 49:04not impress me in this episode at all in terms of like, also the
- 49:08ship. He was saying the Laala like, this is my side piece,
- 49:12this is my mistress. Hahaha, this is my side piece. Weird and
- 49:15weird. Yeah, Lala was really uncomfortable, but she was like trying to
- 49:19like, yeah, make it nice, and I just felt bad for Lalla
- 49:22in that moment. But and then you know, if, like whatever happens
- 49:29when this guy really turns it up drinking must be not fun to be around,
- 49:32because everybody was commenting like oh shit, like joking but kind of like
- 49:38oh shit, here it comes. Yeah. I do really like Danny and
- 49:44Nia. I will say, I don't think they're vapid. Danny and Nia.
- 49:47They are the ones with newborn twins and a toddler. Wow, is
- 49:54he the one drinking? Was he the one? Yeah, he was the
- 49:58one with the drinking, but I okay, that's him. Sorry. Yeah,
- 50:00they were like they were calling him like the dark Danny. Yeah that's
- 50:05right. I do worry about that a little bit, but yes, yeah,
- 50:07okay, Well look the reason why I did in saying thing is because
- 50:12I'm sure that your point still stands. The other guy, so Danny and
- 50:20Nia, I loved seeing that he's been an actor, working actor for eighteen
- 50:23years. He was on I Carly and seeing I just loved seeing him do
- 50:29that adr work, that voiceover work for The Walking Dead because if anybody,
- 50:32if anybody knows me. You know that I've been doing voiceovers from the year
- 50:38like eighteen seventy two, and I've done all kinds of voiceovers from some animation,
- 50:45tons of commercial work, mostly commercial work, but also a lot of
- 50:50ADR, which basically means you're, you know, putting in the background noises
- 50:54just like he did, or you're replacing in your temporary fix on a Selectberti's
- 51:00voice, or you actually replace a celebrities voice with a couple of words for
- 51:05an edited version that you might see on an airplane or something back in the
- 51:07day where they take out the swear words or whatever. So I love seeing
- 51:12this, like I've done uh ADR on American Dad and some other you know,
- 51:21big animation shows where you're doing a lot. It's fun to do because
- 51:24you get to do like a plethora of different characters. And so to see
- 51:30him on The Walking Dead that was hilarious and really really funny, and I
- 51:32was like, see and that you just don't realize the jobs that are out
- 51:36there for actors, because you can make a great living off of just doing
- 51:39a d R like that, and your you can make your the certain amount
- 51:45of money that the cutoff to get your health and pension, insurance and pension,
- 51:52you know, for sag Aftra and it's great so love seeing the working
- 51:57actor thing. Nia being Miss Usa was incredible. Wow, Yes, I
- 52:01know, right, wow, I mean that's yeah, so totally love.
- 52:07I really like them, love love love. And then and then of course
- 52:14Jax pulls his pants down at the party because Brock said too, and I'm
- 52:17like, how old are you too? Motherfuckers? I know, I know
- 52:23that was not cool. I mean I don't under yeah, I just don't
- 52:30get it sometimes, but I mean I get that, like, and that's
- 52:32coming from someone who loves a prank. I mean, you guys do love
- 52:36famously, loves a prank famously, but I feel like you got to like
- 52:42factor in the humiliation part of it before you do it. And what's on
- 52:47camera. Yeah, like that could have been really bad. I mean that's
- 52:52why I think that Nia got so upset. Not only is she just like
- 52:58of when you after you have a baby, you're incredibly anything can set you
- 53:01off and make you cry. So that to me was like, I totally
- 53:07related to that. I think any mother who's had kids who's breastfeeding, like
- 53:10can relate to that really emotional stage that you're going through, and then for
- 53:16for Brittany to come and be like, oh my god, I'm so sorry
- 53:20Jakes. He just did not know he did. Don't have Eddie underpants on
- 53:23under the yet. I'm so sorry. And everybody knew it was a bathing
- 53:32suit, you dumb shit, Like, of course we're not buying that.
- 53:36I know. Yeah, you're at a pool party. I'm gonna clock it
- 53:39as a bathing suit no matter what. I'll just assume it. Brock,
- 53:45really, I mean, it just goes to show where his headspace is too,
- 53:46you know, just two kids trying to be funny and failing. Wait,
- 53:52remind me what Brock said. He's like pull his bands down. Oh
- 53:55he instigated it. Yeah, I totally missed that. Okay mm hmm yeah,
- 54:02but I mean it's on Jack's Brock of course. Yeah, he did
- 54:07the dirty work. Okay. We got to talk about Kristen and having this
- 54:10baby, oh Luke, and Jack's hating Luke for no reason apparently, just
- 54:16that he's the one that Kristen's with, and like it's like Jax has to
- 54:22break up with Luke for Kristen. I don't get it. He It is
- 54:27weird that, you know, well, I thought it's very on point for
- 54:30Kristen to be, you know, at a wedding, you know, just
- 54:34had broken up with her other boyfriend, and she's like, next thing,
- 54:36you know, we're like doing it behind a tent and the rest is history
- 54:38and right trying to have a baby. I'm like, checks out. I
- 54:43was loving that and Luke being like, yeah, ninety nine percent of my
- 54:46life is in Colorado, and I'm like, well, actually, Kyle Richard's
- 54:51life is the same actually, So I mean we really shouldn't have that big
- 54:53of a problem with If Kyle can make it work, then Luke can do
- 54:57I'm kidding. I feel like not that I think. I mean, I
- 55:01don't know if they'll last or not, but he gives me similar vibes to
- 55:07bow with Stacy in terms of like a really grounded person that can like but
- 55:13I mean, we barely know the guy, so I don't want to lean
- 55:15too hard into that. But then I was like, well, he's got
- 55:17seventy acres of land in Colorado. They could Okay, let's say they get
- 55:22pregnant yesterday and she's gonna have a baby, you know, nine months.
- 55:25They could can have a kid and go back and forth to film this show.
- 55:31Absolutely come back to La film the show, and then go back to
- 55:35Colorado for at least the first five years. I would love that for Kristen
- 55:38to be on all this land being like the next Ballerina farm. If you
- 55:45don't know who that is, check out to talk. But you know,
- 55:49just kind of moving into a different era of her life where she's just like
- 55:53working the land, she's having babies, she's showing us how to make bread,
- 56:00and then you know, I mean, I just think that would be
- 56:01super fascinating. Obviously, I think underlying is Jack's concern with him being thirsty
- 56:07for fame or what have you. But also really ironic that his name is
- 56:12Luke. They show him splitting wood and this is very much like Winterhouse Luke.
- 56:16You know, Winterhouse, Summerhouse Luke. If I know you haven't really
- 56:20watched a lot of those shows, but yeah, it is the irony there.
- 56:23But yeah, that Guy's Night or Guy's Golfing was like they're like,
- 56:30oh, yeah, you know, Luke's in over his head guys night.
- 56:32I'm like, okay, all right, you guys are just so intimidating.
- 56:37You know, you're just too cool for school. Luke can't handle it.
- 56:40Yeah, the most chill environment and you're just swinging into a curtain like calm
- 56:46down in like a warehouse. Yeah, he's gonna be fine. He's gonna
- 56:53be fine. Oh, wedlock. And then he brings up wedlock again,
- 56:58and then he's like, well, you know, Britney's friends have kids out
- 57:00of wedlock. You have to raise the kids single. You know, you
- 57:05got to have a job, you gotta have health insurance, school bills,
- 57:07food. I'm like, yes, dad, we all know this. And
- 57:10I would be leaning in and loving this hadn't you guys be separated right now
- 57:15and she's living at an airbnb, like, you know, because I wouldn't
- 57:20have been loving it anyway. I wouldn't have been loving it anyway. But
- 57:22what's the truth. Well, I you know, I think the valley is
- 57:30leaning into what it's like to grow up from being a kid in Hollywood and
- 57:36just running amok at these bars, cheating on your girlfriends and getting drunk.
- 57:40So I think that the hard pivot into jacks not doing that, into bills,
- 57:47you know, thinking about the future schools. That's what I'm here for.
- 57:51Like, so it doesn't I don't mind that he's rattling those things off
- 57:54because that's kind of the Jacks that I want to see. I want to
- 57:58see him bitching about these things because I want to see an evolved Jax.
- 58:02So I don't mind that. I like it like that, That's what I'm
- 58:06here for. But it does changes the message when you see that they're having
- 58:12major issues and knowing that she's not even you know, living with him in
- 58:15their house. Right, So anyway, it's also like the challenge with it
- 58:23is like Jack's isn't wrong. It is harder to do it by yourself,
- 58:29but he's he's not right that it's impossible and that it's like going to make
- 58:34everything horrible. And that's the part where I'm like, Jack's what are you
- 58:39doing right now? Like what what's the end goal here? That Kristen doesn't
- 58:44have a kid? Like well, I think he's kicking up the dust for
- 58:47a great first episode. And look, I have to give credit where credit
- 58:52is due, and if Jack's wasn't getting his you know, rolling up his
- 58:57sleeves and getting his hands for this, then there wouldn't be too much.
- 59:01He's the kingpin of this spin off, and so I really just can't be
- 59:07mad at that now, I will say, Kristen just trying to have a
- 59:14child with her ex boyfriend, right and then a week later they broke up.
- 59:19I mean that is a fair thing to call her out on. And
- 59:22to the point of, do what, Lalla, did you know, why
- 59:24don't you get a sperm donor? Because it does complicate things when you have,
- 59:31you know, a baby daddy if the relationship isn't going to last,
- 59:36like, it's extremely complicated and will be hard on the child. And I
- 59:39don't know why that isn't being taken into consideration. Well, especially when he
- 59:45lives in Colorado. Yeah, I mean that's going to be huge. She
- 59:51says, you know, out of the gates. She's forty and like she
- 59:55can't mess around. And I completely feel that a lot of people feel that.
- 1:00:00I think this is so relatable. I totally understand it. And for
- 1:00:05this Luke guy to be on board with just having a kid right away is
- 1:00:08wild. He's like, well, she's forty, and I'm like oh,
- 1:00:12and like so yeah, you know. Yeah. By the way, what
- 1:00:16did you think about the transition between vander Pump Rules in the Valley where Jack's
- 1:00:22leaves that background and goes to the valley background, the record scratch of the
- 1:00:28sir raiser, glasses high and then boom were in the valley. Did you
- 1:00:31like it? I mean it was I think that they knew what they were
- 1:00:36doing. They leaned hard. It felt almost like a parody. I was
- 1:00:39like, uh, you can't. You can't get lightning in a bottle twice
- 1:00:45transition. But yeah, it was. It was like they knew what they
- 1:00:49were doing. Yeah, it wasn't. It wasn't like seamless in the first
- 1:00:53way. It was a different vibe, and it was good because they knew
- 1:00:57the fans what we want. Yeah, and I didn't expect them to do
- 1:01:01something like that. I really liked it. Somebody actually messaged me and said,
- 1:01:05wouldn't that have been great if it was Sheena? And I was like,
- 1:01:07oh my god, it would have been amazing because she's the one that
- 1:01:12was part of the transition from Beverly Hills to vander Pump Rules, So it
- 1:01:15would have been so incredible to have her be No, I know, she's
- 1:01:20not, no, I know, I know. I'm just saying like,
- 1:01:22in a perfect world, that would have been so cool to have her do
- 1:01:25the transition again, you know, because she's so insignificant forever on vander Pump
- 1:01:34Rules. So it would have been funny to have her do that for the
- 1:01:37valley but really not be the main player for years. You know, she
- 1:01:43was just like fighting for her life on vander Pump Roules. Yes, the
- 1:01:46same thing. Yes, I did love that transition. I thought it was
- 1:01:51really really good. Well, gosh, what else is there anything else?
- 1:01:55We didn't talk about anything else? I no, I think you're right,
- 1:02:01though, I think like it does need the Jacks Factory because I need to
- 1:02:07be annoyed when I watch these shows. Yes that for me, yes,
- 1:02:10absolutely, And again he's leaning hard into being like this evolved guy but still
- 1:02:16in a way kind of a villain and who he is, you know,
- 1:02:20so yeah, it all checks out. Do you know who would be so
- 1:02:23awesome on Traders? Who is Brittany? Because she is such a hard like
- 1:02:31I feel like if she was a trader, she win because I but I
- 1:02:37also feel like Britney's the kind of person and be like, I'm a trader,
- 1:02:39y'all, I feel so bad. Here here's your money. Jack's I
- 1:02:50won, but I felt so bad I gave him the money or she'd be
- 1:02:55like, I'm so sorry, y'all. Jake's he's the trader. I'm so
- 1:02:59sorry, but you know what, that's why he's being such an icehole because
- 1:03:04he is the triter. I'm so sorry about him. He's just tried to
- 1:03:07play he used to be bay it because he's the triter. Y'all, Britney,
- 1:03:10what are you doing? We're separated? Yeah, we didn't really mention
- 1:03:17Jasmine and Zach, but Zach is like Kristen's bff that she like stole from
- 1:03:22Britney because he's from Kentucky. And then Jasmine used to work with them at
- 1:03:25Sir Right, So that's a fun connection. Yeah, that is cool.
- 1:03:30And I think that they are gonna I mean in terms of seeing what's to
- 1:03:36come. I think they're going to play a huge part in the goings on.
- 1:03:39So I feel like this episode really although we did get a fair amount
- 1:03:44of footage with them, but we're kind of in my mind. When I
- 1:03:47watched it, and I only watched it this one time, I was really
- 1:03:51focused on the couples. Oh yes, I view the what's happening with Jesse
- 1:03:55and Michelle, So I was really focused on like, oh wait, which
- 1:03:59couple is it? And then I'm like Okay, well, yeah, they're
- 1:04:01all they all seem like they're on the edge. I was like, oh
- 1:04:04wait, that's the couple. So when well I met like friends, I
- 1:04:10wasn't as tuned in, but I really like them, So yeah, they're
- 1:04:13going to be a good addition. And I like Kristin filming with them because
- 1:04:17it's a different side of you know, we get to see we don't always
- 1:04:20want to just see couples. So I do like, yes, we're going
- 1:04:24to see a different, you know, side of of Kristin when she's talking
- 1:04:29to these guys and uh yeah. So oh. I also love that Jack's
- 1:04:32in the very beginning, he's like, oh, I've got thirty six cameos
- 1:04:35to do. Yeah, it was cool for you, No, it's great.
- 1:04:41And you know when he was explaining how you know, they had after
- 1:04:45vander Pump Rules, like they bought a house and she's pregnant and then the
- 1:04:47show like like he lost his job and he was like I had to put
- 1:04:51my big boy pants on. So I was thinking and remembering, like,
- 1:04:55it is amazing they were able to keep their house during all that because like
- 1:04:59she was doing Jenny Craig, he was obviously doing like maybe cameos and whatever
- 1:05:03to like make ends meet. But Kristin, on the other hand, had
- 1:05:08to sell her house because that was again, this is such a horrible thing
- 1:05:14when you see these reality stars like that have put in the work for us
- 1:05:17and our entertainment that they couldn't even hang onto their house, you know,
- 1:05:23And that was really sad to see. And I felt bad for Kristin about
- 1:05:26that because that sucked, Like she had to her boyfriend encourage her to sell
- 1:05:30the house because she probably didn't know when the next job was coming and that
- 1:05:32she couldn't even you know, keep it awful. Yeah, and it just
- 1:05:38like again residuals. Residuals, because that she was on that show for eight
- 1:05:43years, right oh yeah, so you know, and like I forget how
- 1:05:47long she was a cast member. That's where I get murky on it.
- 1:05:50But you know, if it was from the beginning, Yeah, I'm not
- 1:05:56even saying she has to be I'm not saying in reality television. I get
- 1:06:00that it might you don't have to pay what that you would pay on a
- 1:06:03network TV show scripted, but but but it's something better. Yeah, it
- 1:06:09has to because to see, like she got all settled in this beautiful home
- 1:06:14and she was single and then she started dating this guy and then they ended
- 1:06:16up breaking up, but you know after she sold her house and had to
- 1:06:19move in with him. Uh, terrible, Like it just it is a
- 1:06:24bummer. It's a real bummer. And the difference too with reality versus scripted.
- 1:06:29With these people, it's like they always say, the reason you get
- 1:06:33paid so much in acting is because that might be your last job of your
- 1:06:38life. You don't know, right, And with reality your job is auditioning,
- 1:06:42so you're spending all this time, so like you're getting paid for everything.
- 1:06:45Yeah, And with reality TV, it's like even like I think about
- 1:06:50Katie Maloney, who was an actor, it's like she really, I mean,
- 1:06:54I'll be really, she might get one novelty gig here and there as
- 1:06:58an actor in like Cago med because they want Katie Maloney, but like the
- 1:07:03idea that she could be a working actor that's kind of done now And oh
- 1:07:08yeah, so I hope I'm wrong, but like, no, you're totally
- 1:07:13right. That is done. It was done a long time ago, right,
- 1:07:15So like she can only be Katie Maloney and she does bring an audience
- 1:07:21despite you know, all these people bring an audience. Pay them for that,
- 1:07:26pay them as these reality people actors. Yeah it's nuts, Yeah,
- 1:07:31it's nuts. Well, what a great first episode of the Valley. Will
