- 0:00Speaker 1: Everybody, welcome to Vince on a Wednesday. Great to have
- 0:02Speaker 1: you with us. The best audience anywhere. Holy crap. We've
- 0:06Speaker 1: got a lot to get to today. We've got a
- 0:08Speaker 1: big Save America Act update for you. John Thune rambled
- 0:12Speaker 1: in front of a microphone yesterday. His answers were completely unsat.
- 0:16Speaker 1: We don't like them. So we'll go through what he
- 0:19Speaker 1: actually said and how the president has just dropped a
- 0:21Speaker 1: bomb on the whole conversation overnight. Kind of love it.
- 0:25Speaker 1: We'll talk about that coming up on the program. Also, J.D.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Vance does the media circuit. He talks about Iran and
- 0:32Speaker 1: his new book. Some great conversations, great interviews by the
- 0:35Speaker 1: vice president. We'll get to some of the highlights there.
- 0:39Speaker 1: And Antifa just busted a massive arrest of a bunch
- 0:44Speaker 1: of these Antifa insurrectionists by the Trump administration. You love
- 0:48Speaker 1: to see it. Consequences are coming for the lefties who
- 0:51Speaker 1: are trying to destroy our country. There's so much to
- 0:54Speaker 1: get to today. We'll be joined by Dr. Kevin Roberts
- 0:56Speaker 1: of the Heritage Foundation. He's the president over there. He's
- 0:58Speaker 1: got a lot to talk about with me. We'll talk
- 1:00Speaker 1: about it, Ron. We'll get to it. It's all ahead
- 1:02Speaker 1: on this edition of Vince. I want to thank a
- 1:06Speaker 1: great sponsor who supports the program today. That's Brickhouse Nutrition.
- 1:09Speaker 1: We love Brickhouse. Don't we love Brickhouse, Chad?
- 1:11Speaker 2: We love Brickhouse.
- 1:12Speaker 1: And they've got a great product called Lean. You know
- 1:14Speaker 1: about Lean? Let me tell you about Lean. A lot
- 1:17Speaker 1: of people are looking to lose weight. Makes sense. You
- 1:19Speaker 1: want to get healthy. And some people are turning to
- 1:22Speaker 1: those injections because they're looking for dramatic results. But the
- 1:25Speaker 1: key about those injections is they work by lowering your
- 1:27Speaker 1: blood sugar and reducing your appetite. But what if you
- 1:30Speaker 1: want to do that and you don't want the painful
- 1:33Speaker 1: weekly injections, especially when you hear about some of those
- 1:36Speaker 1: side effects? Well, this is precisely why doctors at Brickhouse
- 1:39Speaker 1: Nutrition created a weight loss supplement called Lean. And the
- 1:42Speaker 1: results are remarkable. The studied ingredients in Lean have been
- 1:47Speaker 1: shown to help lower your blood sugar, help you burn
- 1:49Speaker 1: fat by converting it into energy, and help you curb
- 1:52Speaker 1: your appetite and your cravings so you're less hungry. But listen,
- 1:55Speaker 1: Lean by BrickCast Nutrition, not for the casual dieter. It's
- 1:58Speaker 1: for frustrated dieters with 10 or more pounds to lose.

- 2:28Speaker 3: Boom.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Yeah, it's interview day. We get the interview threads on.
- 2:41Speaker 4: It is what it is.
- 2:43Speaker 1: We have a guest coming up. I kind of try
- 2:45Speaker 1: and predict, is the guest going to wear a jacket
- 2:47Speaker 1: or not? What are they going to be looking like?
- 2:49Speaker 1: My guest this morning is maybe Kevin's going to wear
- 2:51Speaker 1: a jacket.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Who knows?
- 2:52Speaker 1: Maybe he is. Maybe he's not.
- 2:53Speaker 5: But whatever.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I'm ready. I got my jacket on. I'm ready for
- 2:56Speaker 1: the big interview with Kevin Roberts. He's a good man,
- 2:58Speaker 1: leading a great organization. Love the Heritage Foundation. I don't
- 3:01Speaker 1: know about you. When did you first find out about
- 3:03Speaker 1: the Heritage Foundation? Was it like me from Rush Limbaugh?
- 3:07Speaker 1: Was it Rush? It was Rush for me. I remember
- 3:10Speaker 1: when I found out about heritage. It was Rush. Rush
- 3:12Speaker 1: was doing these heritage endorsements. He was talking about how
- 3:16Speaker 1: great the Heritage Foundation was so many years ago. And
- 3:19Speaker 1: I would listen to that. And I was like, man,
- 3:21Speaker 1: got to find out more about the Heritage Foundation. And
- 3:23Speaker 1: then sure enough, as I started, when I moved from
- 3:27Speaker 1: North Carolina to Washington, D.C., and I was trying to
- 3:31Speaker 1: figure out my place in the world, you know, trying
- 3:32Speaker 1: to find a job. I started at the Heritage Foundation, actually.
- 3:35Speaker 1: I did an internship at the Heritage Foundation working in
- 3:37Speaker 1: the communications shop there And the rest, as they say,
- 3:41Speaker 1: is history. It's been a wonderful ride. I love Heritage
- 3:44Speaker 1: and I love Kevin Roberts. So it'll be fun to
- 3:46Speaker 1: talk to him coming up. And we'll get into the
- 3:48Speaker 1: details of Iran, the memorandum of understanding. And I've got
- 3:53Speaker 1: a banger new clip from the president of the United
- 3:55Speaker 1: States to share with you on that subject. It's all
- 3:57Speaker 1: coming up on the program. But first this morning, I
- 4:00Speaker 1: want to start with, well, the thing that you and
- 4:03Speaker 1: I are absolutely obsessed with. That's the Save America Act.
- 4:07Speaker 1: We need to get this thing passed, don't we? don't we?
- 4:10Speaker 1: We need to get the Save America Act passed. We
- 4:12Speaker 1: need election integrity in the United States. I saw one
- 4:14Speaker 1: news outlet, I can't remember which one, but it referred
- 4:17Speaker 1: to this as an overhaul of America's elections. It's not
- 4:21Speaker 1: an overhaul. It's not radical or anything. It's literally just
- 4:24Speaker 1: enforcing existing laws and making sure that only American citizens
- 4:28Speaker 1: are voting. Not that dramatic, actually. The only reason it
- 4:32Speaker 1: would be dramatic is because of the amount of fraud
- 4:34Speaker 1: that's taking place in our system that it would upend.
- 4:36Speaker 1: That's the only reason it would be an overhaul. of
- 4:39Speaker 1: our election system. If that's the case, our election system
- 4:42Speaker 1: needs to be overhauled. You can't have one that's this
- 4:45Speaker 1: vulnerable to fraud, which of course it is. Yesterday, John
- 4:48Speaker 1: Thune decided to do a television interview. He sat down
- 4:51Speaker 1: with Fox News' Bret Baier on Special Report. And Bret,
- 4:56Speaker 1: to his great credit, asked about the Save America Act,
- 4:58Speaker 1: and he kind of stayed on it, actually. And John
- 5:02Speaker 1: Thune did not have good answers. In fact, Thune spent
- 5:07Speaker 1: Every portion of this segment of the interview, making excuses
- 5:11Speaker 1: for why he hasn't yet twisted enough arms to get
- 5:14Speaker 1: the Save America Act passed. And he used a couple
- 5:17Speaker 1: of acts of outright deception as he described it. I
- 5:20Speaker 1: want you to watch the clip and then we'll break
- 5:22Speaker 1: it down. Here he is, Jonathan.
- 5:24Speaker 6: Now the president is putting another. He wants his Save
- 5:28Speaker 6: America Act, which is a voter ID, although it has
- 5:32Speaker 6: other provisions in it, to.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Be attached to FISA.
- 5:36Speaker 6: He had a truth social saying that the few Democrats,
- 5:39Speaker 6: his word, are against FISA with or without Bill Pulte
- 5:42Speaker 6: going to DNI as acting. What kind of deal is that? Besides,
- 5:45Speaker 6: I'm against FISA if it doesn't come with the Save
- 5:47Speaker 6: America Act, full version, firmly attached to it. What do
- 5:51Speaker 6: you say to the president on that?
- 5:52Speaker 7: Well, we've had the vote on the full version twice now.
- 5:56Speaker 7: So the full version is five components, and it's... photo ID,
- 5:59Speaker 7: it's a registration or citizenship in order to register to vote,
- 6:03Speaker 7: no biological boys and girls sports, bans mail-in voting, and
- 6:08Speaker 7: it does away with trans surgeries for minors, which we've all,
- 6:11Speaker 7: I'm four, and a lot of us are, but that
- 6:14Speaker 7: only got- And.
- 6:14Speaker 6: Those five things are fairly practical in the Republican caucus.
- 6:17Speaker 8: They are.
- 6:17Speaker 7: I mean, those are things that, but we only got
- 6:20Speaker 7: 48 votes. We had that vote last week on all
- 6:22Speaker 7: five components. The only way you can get, you know,
- 6:25Speaker 7: obviously get this done is to nuke the legislative filibuster,
- 6:31Speaker 7: and that is not something that we have anywhere close
- 6:33Speaker 7: to the votes to do. So we've had votes. We
- 6:36Speaker 7: had it on the floor. It was the pending business
- 6:38Speaker 7: in the Senate for a couple of weeks. We've done
- 6:41Speaker 7: everything we can to date. We'll continue to put the
- 6:43Speaker 7: Democrats on record. The Democrats are voting against an issue
- 6:46Speaker 7: that 80 to 85 percent of the American people are for,
- 6:49Speaker 7: and we need to hold them accountable for that.
- 6:51Speaker 6: But the president doesn't seem to understand your math.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Yeah, and I get that.
- 6:55Speaker 2: On conversations with him, how does this go over?
- 6:59Speaker 6: Because the way he types it in his true social posts,
- 7:02Speaker 6: it's pretty aggressive.
- 7:04Speaker 1: He thinks you should be doing more.
- 7:05Speaker 7: And he's passionate about it. And we are doing everything
- 7:09Speaker 7: that we can. But it is a function of math.
- 7:12Speaker 7: I mean, we are bound by arithmetic in the United
- 7:15Speaker 7: States Senate. The votes currently aren't there. We will continue
- 7:19Speaker 7: to put the Democrats on the record and insist on
- 7:22Speaker 7: votes on this. But if you tried to attach it,
- 7:24Speaker 7: for example, to FISA, it would tank FISA.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Oh, man, there's a lot in there. Okay, I'll start
- 7:33Speaker 1: at the end of that. He goes, if you put
- 7:34Speaker 1: this with FISA, it would tank FISA. Let me be
- 7:38Speaker 1: more explicit about what he's saying. If you attach election
- 7:42Speaker 1: integrity to the government's spying powers, it would tank the
- 7:46Speaker 1: government's spying powers.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 7:50Speaker 3: No.
- 7:51Speaker 1: No. What? That's your priority? The reason FISA is even
- 7:57Speaker 1: ever debated as a subject is not because Americans don't
- 8:01Speaker 1: want to spy on foreigners. Of course we do. We
- 8:03Speaker 1: want to spy on foreign adversaries to make sure that
- 8:05Speaker 1: they're not a threat to the United States. Makes perfect
- 8:08Speaker 1: sense to me. Spy on everybody outside of the United States.
- 8:11Speaker 1: But the big problem we have with FISA is the
- 8:14Speaker 1: abuse of that power to spy on American citizens, which
- 8:16Speaker 1: of course has happened over and over, including to the
- 8:18Speaker 1: president and the people around him. So that's why we
- 8:20Speaker 1: need to fix that. That's issue one. But the other
- 8:22Speaker 1: component to this is so long as we're going to
- 8:24Speaker 1: pass a renewal to FISA, which by the way, at
- 8:26Speaker 1: this point has lapsed because Democrats have gotten in the way,
- 8:30Speaker 1: then at the very least, give us election integrity in
- 8:34Speaker 1: the midst of this. So even if you're going to
- 8:35Speaker 1: allow the government to have these powers, which should be
- 8:37Speaker 1: a little more fettered than they are rather than unfettered,
- 8:41Speaker 1: even if the government's going to continue to have these
- 8:42Speaker 1: powers for a time, we need election integrity. How many
- 8:46Speaker 1: times can we possibly say this? And the reason John
- 8:49Speaker 1: Thune even has to answer questions like this from Brett
- 8:51Speaker 1: Baier and has to talk about this issue still, despite
- 8:55Speaker 1: the fact that he doesn't want to, is because you
- 8:57Speaker 1: don't stop. You are staying in this fight. I am
- 9:01Speaker 1: staying in this fight. President Trump, with a big old
- 9:04Speaker 1: bully pulpit, is staying in this fight. And it's driving
- 9:08Speaker 1: John Thune and the establishment Republicans crazy. Now, another component
- 9:11Speaker 1: to what you just heard him say. He says, well,
- 9:13Speaker 1: we'll continue to put Democrats on the record.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Bullshit.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Excuse me. There's I know. Forgive me.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Hold up.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I don't want Democrats on the record. I know what
- 9:26Speaker 1: their record is. They hate election integrity. The last thing
- 9:29Speaker 1: they want is election integrity. I don't need a vote
- 9:31Speaker 1: to prove it. It's not about that. It's about the
- 9:36Speaker 1: actual law. Fight for it. Two other big things in
- 9:40Speaker 1: this statement that he just made. Both of them acts
- 9:43Speaker 1: of deception.
- 9:44Speaker 9: Lies.
- 9:47Speaker 1: One of them, he referenced, he goes, look, we put
- 9:49Speaker 1: it up for a vote last week. It only had
- 9:50Speaker 1: 48 votes. Now, this is like a half-truth. What John
- 9:56Speaker 1: Thune is referencing is last week, there was an attempt
- 10:00Speaker 1: to add the Save America Act by amendment to a
- 10:04Speaker 1: reconciliation bill. Now, for those of you who've been with
- 10:08Speaker 1: me for a while, you'll know instantly why this is
- 10:09Speaker 1: a fool's errand, because the reconciliation fights, those are budgetary
- 10:13Speaker 1: fights and You can only get them passed through a
- 10:16Speaker 1: simple majority if it's a budgetary matter. You can't change
- 10:18Speaker 1: things in terms of big statutes. You can't do that
- 10:21Speaker 1: through reconciliation. So it was already kind of a scam
- 10:24Speaker 1: that they were trying to put it in. But it
- 10:25Speaker 1: did only get 48 votes in that context. And the
- 10:28Speaker 1: four who voted against it were Thumbelina, Mitch the Glitch McConnell,
- 10:34Speaker 1: Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski. They all voted against it,
- 10:39Speaker 1: the usual suspects. And then the other Republicans voted for it. Now,
- 10:44Speaker 1: that's true in that context, but that's not the context
- 10:47Speaker 1: that matters the most. In fact, Mike Lee posted about
- 10:51Speaker 1: this last night, boy, this has got to be ticking
- 10:53Speaker 1: off John Thune too, in reaction to Thune's commentary and said,
- 10:59Speaker 1: the version of the bill that he mentioned, having only
- 11:03Speaker 1: 48 votes, is a different bill entirely than the House
- 11:07Speaker 1: passed version that everybody in the Senate already supports. The
- 11:12Speaker 1: House already passed a version of the Save America Act,
- 11:15Speaker 1: and it includes all of the critical elements to fixing
- 11:17Speaker 1: our elections, all of them. And Mike Lee said, everybody
- 11:22Speaker 1: in the Senate understands that this is the one that
- 11:24Speaker 1: is viable. And it's the one that Mike Lee is pushing.
- 11:27Speaker 1: And it already has the support of a simple majority
- 11:32Speaker 1: within the conference, not 48 votes, a majority. While it
- 11:37Speaker 1: contains the essential elements of the House passed version of
- 11:39Speaker 1: the Save America Act, The 48 vote version also contained
- 11:42Speaker 1: additional provisions that don't have the support of even a
- 11:44Speaker 1: simple majority. If he was determined to mention the bill
- 11:48Speaker 1: that received only 48 votes, he should have mentioned the
- 11:51Speaker 1: real version, the one the House passed and has the
- 11:54Speaker 1: support of a simple majority in the Senate. So Mike
- 11:59Speaker 1: Lee is great because he's instantly cutting through the horse
- 12:04Speaker 1: crap and going, Why are you talking about a bill
- 12:08Speaker 1: that doesn't have majority support? Why don't you talk about
- 12:10Speaker 1: the bill that does? What are you trying to do here?
- 12:13Speaker 1: And the answer to that question, obviously, is John Thune
- 12:17Speaker 1: is trying to suffocate attention on this. He wants to
- 12:19Speaker 1: make it seem like it's a fait accompli, that there
- 12:21Speaker 1: is no chance of passing this thing. John Thune wants
- 12:25Speaker 1: you off of this story. It's not happening. We're staying
- 12:29Speaker 1: on it. We've stayed on it for a long time.
- 12:31Speaker 1: We're going to stay on it even longer. In fact,
- 12:34Speaker 1: every time you try and get us off it, we're
- 12:35Speaker 1: going to double down our resolve. And here's another thing.
- 12:40Speaker 1: John Thune said in that clip that the only way
- 12:43Speaker 1: to get this done is to get rid of the
- 12:45Speaker 1: legislative filibuster. That too is not true.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Not true.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Again, this is something that this audience knew almost exclusively
- 12:55Speaker 1: before anybody else was talking about it. Thank God everybody
- 12:58Speaker 1: else joined in on this. But the reality is that
- 13:01Speaker 1: the United States Senate has at its disposal an almost
- 13:05Speaker 1: never used tool called the speaking filibuster that would require
- 13:09Speaker 1: only a simple majority to get this thing passed. But
- 13:15Speaker 1: the downside is that Republican senators would have to endure
- 13:18Speaker 1: the verbal nonsense of people like Cory Booker for as
- 13:21Speaker 1: long as they can stand on their little feet. and
- 13:24Speaker 1: throw their little tantrums. So yeah, it would take a while,
- 13:27Speaker 1: in other words. It would take a while. You'd have
- 13:29Speaker 1: to endure putting up with every Democrat senator getting two speeches.
- 13:35Speaker 1: But after that's over, you can pass this thing with
- 13:37Speaker 1: a simple majority. That's it. Once debate concludes, then you're
- 13:44Speaker 1: good to go. In fact, the 60-vote threshold is just
- 13:48Speaker 1: to end debate. That's why we talk about it. It's
- 13:50Speaker 1: a legislative filibuster. 60 votes to end debate on the bill.
- 13:53Speaker 1: But the Senate almost never engages in actual debate on
- 13:56Speaker 1: the floor. But if they were to do a real
- 13:58Speaker 1: speaking filibuster, they could pass this thing with a simple majority.
- 14:01Speaker 1: They would just have to put up with Democrats running
- 14:02Speaker 1: their socks for a while.
- 14:04Speaker 2: All right, fine.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Sorry, is there more important things to do? What's on
- 14:08Speaker 1: the list exactly?
- 14:10Speaker 2: In fact.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Look, to the extent that they're trying to do anything,
- 14:13Speaker 1: Democrats are still getting in the way. That includes with FISA,
- 14:16Speaker 1: the FISA extension. And that brings me to the bomb
- 14:18Speaker 1: that the president of the United States dropped overnight. On Monday,
- 14:23Speaker 1: I told you, pay attention to what is going on
- 14:27Speaker 1: in the office of the director of national intelligence right now.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Something very interesting is happening. Because remember, Tulsi Gabbard leaving
- 14:37Speaker 1: the administration because her husband has cancer and she needs
- 14:40Speaker 1: to attend to him. The president, in an effort to
- 14:43Speaker 1: replace her, has tapped Bill Paltry to take the job
- 14:46Speaker 1: on an acting basis. And he's given Bill Paltry two
- 14:50Speaker 1: big tasks. One is to clean out the intel community.
- 14:53Speaker 1: The other is election integrity, to expose what the government
- 14:56Speaker 1: knows about the theft or meddling in elections going on
- 14:59Speaker 1: in the United States of America. That's a big deal.
- 15:01Speaker 1: And it's a continuation of what Tulsi Gabbard started. It's
- 15:05Speaker 1: a very big deal. There's plenty of reason to believe
- 15:08Speaker 1: that Bill Paltry is the guy to do this because
- 15:10Speaker 1: he has been unashamed about going after powerful people. Their
- 15:13Speaker 1: station in life has not at all impeded him from
- 15:17Speaker 1: going after them, which is good because last I checked,
- 15:20Speaker 1: nobody's above the law. So when he's going after, you know,
- 15:23Speaker 1: these various people with, you know, these Democrats especially who
- 15:27Speaker 1: have multiple houses with these ridiculous mortgage rates that they
- 15:30Speaker 1: shouldn't have because they're not all their primary residents, Adam
- 15:33Speaker 1: Schiff and Eric Swalwell, all these people, then maybe he's
- 15:39Speaker 1: the right guy to do this job too. Somebody who's brave,
- 15:41Speaker 1: somebody who's not intimidated by power can go in there
- 15:44Speaker 1: and do this job. So the president tapped him to
- 15:46Speaker 1: do it. Now this caused an upheaval in the Senate.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Senate Republicans recoiled at this. They hated this. Senate Democrats
- 15:54Speaker 1: really hate this. And over the weekend, I saw a
- 15:57Speaker 1: couple of truth social posts from the president that definitely
- 15:59Speaker 1: caught my attention because in light of the fact that
- 16:04Speaker 1: Bill Paltry is the hated guy, In the Senate, they said, look,
- 16:08Speaker 1: we're not renewing FISA unless we get a commitment that
- 16:11Speaker 1: Bill Paltry is not going to actually be the lasting
- 16:14Speaker 1: director of national intelligence. So the president did this. He goes, OK,
- 16:18Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. He'll just be the acting guy.
- 16:20Speaker 1: He'll leave.
- 16:22Speaker 2: He'll leave.
- 16:22Speaker 1: And I'm going to nominate the current U.S. attorney in
- 16:24Speaker 1: New York, Jay Clayton. I'll make him the director of
- 16:27Speaker 1: national intelligence. I'm going to make him the nominee. So
- 16:29Speaker 1: he did. This was cause for celebration. especially among Senate Republicans,
- 16:36Speaker 1: especially among establishment Senate Republicans, which instantly caught my attention.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Remember this? Because on Monday, I told you, hold up,
- 16:43Speaker 1: Thumbelina loves this guy, Jay Clayton. What's that about? Mitch
- 16:47Speaker 1: McConnell loves this guy. They instantly released statements saying he's wonderful.
- 16:50Speaker 1: We can't wait to confirm him. The hell's going on
- 16:53Speaker 1: with this? And they were so eager to confirm this guy,
- 16:57Speaker 1: they scheduled his confirmation hearing for today. It's supposed to
- 17:01Speaker 1: be this afternoon. Depending on when you're listening to this program,
- 17:05Speaker 1: Wednesday is what I'm referencing. Wednesday afternoon was supposed to
- 17:08Speaker 1: be the hearing. But now I'm telling you it was
- 17:11Speaker 1: supposed to be the hearing because the president just upended everything.
- 17:17Speaker 1: He's overseas, but he's still got his eyes on the
- 17:19Speaker 1: United States of America. I've got some great breaking news
- 17:23Speaker 1: to share with you. The president of the United States
- 17:25Speaker 1: upending this whole thing and making a new demand for
- 17:29Speaker 1: the Save America Act. It's all ahead on this edition. Vince,
- 17:33Speaker 1: I want to thank a great sponsor for supporting the program,
- 17:37Speaker 1: and that's Dose for Cholesterol. Dose for Cholesterol. You know,
- 17:40Speaker 1: a lot of people hesitate when they're told they might
- 17:42Speaker 1: need to start taking something for cholesterol. People want to
- 17:44Speaker 1: feel like they still have a say in how they
- 17:46Speaker 1: take care of themselves. And that's why more people are
- 17:49Speaker 1: turning to gentle alternatives made with ingredients they recognize, like CoQ10, ginger, pomegranate, amla.
- 17:55Speaker 1: And one of those options is Dose for Cholesterol. Now,
- 17:57Speaker 1: Dose for Cholesterol is a clinically backed supplement designed to
- 18:00Speaker 1: support triglycerides, LDL, HDL, and overall cholesterol levels. It's filled
- 18:04Speaker 1: with ingredients that you likely have heard of, and you
- 18:07Speaker 1: can feel good about adding to your day. Now, we
- 18:10Speaker 1: have people on our team who use Dose, and they
- 18:12Speaker 1: love it because they've been very encouraged by what they've
- 18:14Speaker 1: seen in their blood work over time. And look, we
- 18:17Speaker 1: only talk about products here when people around us are
- 18:19Speaker 1: actually using them and deriving benefits from them. And new
- 18:23Speaker 1: customers can save 35% on your first month subscription by
- 18:27Speaker 1: going to Dosedaily.co slash Vince or entering Vince at checkout.
- 18:33Speaker 1: That's D-O-S-E-D-A-I-L-Y dot C-O slash Vince for 35% off your
- 18:39Speaker 1: first month subscription. These statements and products have not been
- 18:42Speaker 1: evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure,
- 18:45Speaker 1: or prevent any disease or condition. Thank you very much
- 18:49Speaker 1: to Dose. Dose for cholesterol.
- 18:51Speaker 8: Okay.
- 18:52Speaker 1: So the president just dropped a bomb into this whole conversation.
- 18:55Speaker 1: The Senate thought they could rush Jay Clayton through and
- 18:59Speaker 1: that we wouldn't have to worry about Bill Paltry doing
- 19:02Speaker 1: any damage by, you know, firing intel community people, revealing
- 19:06Speaker 1: election meddling secrets.
- 19:08Speaker 10: Amazing.
- 19:09Speaker 1: So here's what the president did overnight. In fact, this
- 19:12Speaker 1: was just a few hours ago. This would be early
- 19:13Speaker 1: this morning, 3.54 a.m. Eastern time. He's operating on European time, though,
- 19:19Speaker 1: right now. And here's what the president said. He goes,
- 19:23Speaker 1: the Republicans agreed with the Democrats to remove a very
- 19:27Speaker 1: fair and talented William Pulte from serving as acting DNI
- 19:32Speaker 1: in return for getting FISA approved by the Democrats. However,
- 19:37Speaker 1: the Republicans moved so fast with the hearings of the
- 19:41Speaker 1: great Jay Clayton, current U.S. attorney for the Southern District
- 19:44Speaker 1: of New York, that Paltry would be gone before the
- 19:47Speaker 1: Democrats would even vote for FISA. So now the Democrats
- 19:51Speaker 1: are saying they will vote against FISA. So the Republicans
- 19:55Speaker 1: wound up having fulfilled their commitment, but Democrats broke the deal.
- 20:01Speaker 1: In addition, the newly nominated U.S. attorney, Jamie McDonald, this
- 20:05Speaker 1: is the replacement for New York that Trump has nominated,
- 20:09Speaker 1: must be confirmed and blue-slipped. Because of the ridiculous views
- 20:14Speaker 1: of Republicans on blue-slipping, blue-slipping, everybody knows what blue-slipping is, right?
- 20:19Speaker 1: If you don't, it's a very simple concept and it's
- 20:22Speaker 1: a very corrupt concept that any senator can stop a U.S.
- 20:27Speaker 1: attorney or federal judge nominee in their own state from
- 20:30Speaker 1: getting the job if they want. So Adam Schiff can
- 20:34Speaker 1: stop all of the president's picks in California. Isn't that crazy?
- 20:39Speaker 1: It's not a law. It's not even an official rule.
- 20:42Speaker 1: It's just a custom in the Senate. Chuck Grassley upholds it.
- 20:46Speaker 1: If you'd like to direct your ire on that particular
- 20:48Speaker 1: subject to anybody, direct it to Chuck Grassley. Grassley's been
- 20:50Speaker 1: great on a whole bunch of subjects, not this one.
- 20:53Speaker 1: And also John Thune, while you're at it, copy him
- 20:55Speaker 1: on this, because he upholds the blue slip too. So
- 20:58Speaker 1: the president's saying this is idiotic. Because of the ridiculous
- 21:01Speaker 1: views of Republicans on blue slipping, Democrats are often willing
- 21:05Speaker 1: to nix it, I may not be able to get
- 21:08Speaker 1: the extraordinary Sullivan and Cromwell partner, Jamie, approved. And I
- 21:12Speaker 1: don't want to take Jay Clayton away from the great
- 21:14Speaker 1: job he's doing until Jamie's in place. Therefore, to add
- 21:17Speaker 1: a slight bit of intrigue, but for the good of
- 21:21Speaker 1: the nation and the people of our country, I will
- 21:23Speaker 1: not approve FISA without the Save America Act going along
- 21:28Speaker 1: with it. It's not complicated. Actually, the Republicans fell into
- 21:33Speaker 1: a trap, says the president. Regarding the approval of our
- 21:36Speaker 1: great patriot, Jay Clayton, we are canceling the Senate hearing
- 21:40Speaker 1: today and will not be going forward until Jamie McDonald
- 21:45Speaker 1: is approved to be U.S.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Attorney.
- 21:47Speaker 1: In the meantime, Bill Paltry will remain as the acting
- 21:50Speaker 1: director of national intelligence. Thank you for your attention to
- 21:52Speaker 1: this matter, President Donald J. Trump. I, uh, I think
- 22:05Speaker 1: this is great. I think this is absolutely wonderful. And
- 22:08Speaker 1: I guarantee that all of these senators are waking up
- 22:12Speaker 1: this morning and rubbing their widow eyes and looking at
- 22:16Speaker 1: their phones. They're freaking out. They're like, what the hell?
- 22:21Speaker 1: I thought this was over. I thought we got past this.
- 22:23Speaker 1: The Save America Act. Why does this keep coming up?
- 22:25Speaker 1: Bill Paltry. Why is he the director of national intelligence?
- 22:28Speaker 1: Why do good things keep happening to the country? I
- 22:30Speaker 1: just need to get past this.
- 22:34Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 22:34Speaker 1: You're not going to be able to get past it.
- 22:36Speaker 1: In fact, we're going to get.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Rid of you.
- 22:38Speaker 1: We're going to John Cornyn every last one of you.
- 22:42Speaker 1: We're going to Bill Cassidy every last one of you.
- 22:45Speaker 1: We're going to Thumbelina every last one of you until
- 22:48Speaker 1: we get our way. And we're not asking for a lot.
- 22:50Speaker 1: I'm not asking for you to cut me a check.
- 22:52Speaker 1: I'm not asking for you to do something corrupt for
- 22:55Speaker 1: me or anything like that. I'm not asking for like
- 22:59Speaker 1: a shakedown Gavin Newsom style. I'm asking for election integrity.
- 23:03Speaker 1: I'm asking for decency in the United States of America
- 23:06Speaker 1: in credible elections. Not asking for that much. And if
- 23:08Speaker 1: you can't even deliver on this, get the hell out
- 23:11Speaker 1: of the way. So the president is playing hardball here
- 23:15Speaker 1: with the Senate. He's going, that's fine.
- 23:18Speaker 2: That's fine.
- 23:18Speaker 1: You want to rush this through to upend my ability
- 23:21Speaker 1: to clean up the intel community and expose all of
- 23:23Speaker 1: this election nonsense? You want to rush this through and
- 23:27Speaker 1: not give me the Save America Act? What's the expression? Homie,
- 23:31Speaker 1: don't play that. Homie, don't play that. Donald Trump, don't
- 23:35Speaker 1: play that. So he's got a new game. Do what
- 23:38Speaker 1: I told you to do. Look forward to the drama
- 23:43Speaker 1: on this subject today. I knew, I knew something was
- 23:46Speaker 1: coming on this. It was, it was the, the, remember we,
- 23:50Speaker 1: how many people were flagging this in the chat on Monday?
- 23:52Speaker 1: I was like, this seems interesting. What the hell's going
- 23:56Speaker 1: on in the Senate? Why is Thumbelina walking around with
- 23:59Speaker 1: a smile on his face? That's not a good sign.
- 24:01Speaker 1: And suddenly President Trump intercepted all of it, which I really,
- 24:06Speaker 1: really enjoy. I think, I think that's, that's very good stuff.
- 24:10Speaker 8: All right.
- 24:11Speaker 1: So we'll leave the Save America Act there for now
- 24:13Speaker 1: because we've got a lot more to get to, including
- 24:16Speaker 1: this memorandum of understanding. Here's what we know. First and foremost,
- 24:24Speaker 1: as I've been telling you, keep your head. The amount
- 24:28Speaker 1: of people who have lost their damn minds this week, is, well, one,
- 24:33Speaker 1: it's kind of amusing in a way, but it's sad, actually,
- 24:36Speaker 1: because this idea, like, when Lindsey Graham is like, I'm
- 24:39Speaker 1: not sure I trust the Iranians or Trump, you've lost
- 24:42Speaker 1: the plot, dude. You've lost the plot. You spend your
- 24:44Speaker 1: whole career telling us we can't trust the Iranians, rightly so,
- 24:48Speaker 1: and then at this moment, when the president is trying
- 24:51Speaker 1: to figure out a deal to keep them from getting
- 24:52Speaker 1: a nuclear weapon, you're saying that maybe the Iranians are
- 24:55Speaker 1: more trustworthy than the president? That's cuckoo for cuckoo puffs,
- 24:59Speaker 1: and you need to settle down. I mean, that's truly demented,
- 25:02Speaker 1: like you hit your head or something. And there's a
- 25:05Speaker 1: lot of that going around right now. Trust the president
- 25:08Speaker 1: on this. He's handling it. And let me offer this
- 25:12Speaker 1: other thing about Iran that I don't think is being
- 25:15Speaker 1: said enough, and I think the vice president would do
- 25:17Speaker 1: well to remind people of this. If we didn't get
- 25:20Speaker 1: a deal at all, let's just pretend for a moment
- 25:22Speaker 1: there was no deal, no negotiated deal, no memorandum of understanding,
- 25:26Speaker 1: no deal, no nothing. If we didn't get anything, if
- 25:29Speaker 1: we pulled up stakes today, brought all the troops home
- 25:31Speaker 1: and just went back to whatever the quote status quo
- 25:34Speaker 1: was before the war started, Iran is still set back decades.
- 25:39Speaker 1: They're economically decimated. They're militarily decimated. Their actual nuclear program
- 25:43Speaker 1: is literally decimated. It's a skyscraper underground. The idea that
- 25:47Speaker 1: somehow Iran is, quote, emerging from this stronger is moronic nonsense.
- 25:52Speaker 1: It's just people who are repeating it because they want
- 25:55Speaker 1: the war to go to a new level. That's all.
- 25:57Speaker 1: They're just trying to prejudice the public into taking their
- 25:59Speaker 1: view on this subject by lying to you about the
- 26:02Speaker 1: current state of affairs. So how about this? If you
- 26:05Speaker 1: want to make a great case for something, just tell
- 26:07Speaker 1: the truth about what's actually going on. And the truth is,
- 26:09Speaker 1: Iran has set back dramatically. This is so stupid. The
- 26:14Speaker 1: whole thing, I can't even believe the hysterics around this subject.
- 26:18Speaker 1: And in fact, just to give you an example of this,
- 26:19Speaker 1: because it's really easy to understand when you see these parties.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Here's the great vice president of the United States going
- 26:24Speaker 1: against the ridiculous Jessica Tarloff yesterday on The Five, talking
- 26:29Speaker 1: about this. And Tarloff's like, well, I think this is
- 26:31Speaker 1: a terrible situation. And Vance is like, I hate to
- 26:33Speaker 1: tell you, sweetheart, you're falling for Iranian propaganda. Cut three, watch.
- 26:37Speaker 9: Report last night was meaningful, where they said that CIA
- 26:40Speaker 9: Director Ratcliffe, Rubio, and Hegseth, based on American intelligence, were
- 26:46Speaker 9: doubting the kind of results they thought we could get
- 26:48Speaker 9: out of this deal.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:51Speaker 5: So just to literally address a couple of things, because
- 26:53Speaker 5: I think you're making the same mistake, unfortunately, that a
- 26:55Speaker 5: lot of the Iranian propagandists make when they talk about this.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Like the Wall Street Journal?
- 26:58Speaker 5: They talk about the benefits to the Iranians without any
- 27:02Speaker 5: of the things the Iranians would have to give up
- 27:04Speaker 5: and have to change in order to get those benefits.
- 27:05Speaker 5: So you mentioned a $ 300 billion fund. I've got to
- 27:08Speaker 5: be very clear about this. Not a single cent of
- 27:10Speaker 5: American money under any circumstance, no matter what the Iranians do,
- 27:14Speaker 5: goes to Iran, not a single cent.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Of American money.
- 27:17Speaker 5: But they get other money. Here's what this says. This says,
- 27:19Speaker 5: for example, let's say that the United Arab Emirates, who
- 27:21Speaker 5: have been a great ally, let's say they want to
- 27:23Speaker 5: invest in a power plant in Iran.
- 27:26Speaker 1: What this deal provides is.
- 27:28Speaker 5: That if the Iranians have done everything we require them
- 27:31Speaker 5: to do, then we will allow the United Arab Emirates
- 27:34Speaker 5: to do that, because they can't do that right now
- 27:35Speaker 5: without American approval. So we're fundamentally saying if the Iranians
- 27:39Speaker 5: transform how they interact with the world, we will transform
- 27:42Speaker 5: how the world economy interacts with Iran.
- 27:44Speaker 1: But if they don't do any of that stuff, they
- 27:46Speaker 1: don't get any of these benefits. So I think all
- 27:49Speaker 1: the Democrats.
- 27:49Speaker 5: Who are saying, well, the Iranians get all these things,
- 27:52Speaker 5: they don't get anything unless the total unless there's been
- 27:56Speaker 5: a complete transformation of how Iran interacts with the world,
- 27:59Speaker 5: that would be a huge win for America. And to
- 28:01Speaker 5: Jesse's point, if they don't do any of these things,
- 28:03Speaker 5: we don't give them anything.
- 28:05Speaker 2: They don't receive anything.
- 28:06Speaker 5: Their nuclear program is still destroyed. Their military is still destroyed.
- 28:10Speaker 5: Their missile program and industrial base is still destroyed. We
- 28:13Speaker 5: fundamentally have transformed the Middle East. Whether they comply or not,
- 28:17Speaker 5: this is just icing on the cake, assuming they do
- 28:19Speaker 5: all the right things.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Can I just take a look? And then obviously it
- 28:21Speaker 1: goes to Greg. So I guess two things.
- 28:23Speaker 9: One, there's already been reporting that the Qataris have been
- 28:26Speaker 9: paying off the Iranians to get them.
- 28:28Speaker 2: To— I've seen the report, by the way.
- 28:30Speaker 5: And we have a great relationship with the Qataris.
- 28:32Speaker 9: No money is exchanged hands. Iran has not gotten a
- 28:34Speaker 9: single dollar from any Gulf partners.
- 28:38Speaker 2: OK.
- 28:38Speaker 9: And again, lots of criticism from the Republican side of
- 28:41Speaker 9: this as well. It is a bipartisan concern.
- 28:44Speaker 5: Well, I think, look, some of the criticism comes from
- 28:46Speaker 5: the fact that if Donald Trump were elected the supreme
- 28:49Speaker 5: leader of Iran, the Democrats would still say that the
- 28:52Speaker 5: United States had lost this.
- 28:55Speaker 1: By the way, I didn't give the vice president enough credit.
- 28:57Speaker 1: He said exactly what I said, which is like they've
- 28:58Speaker 1: already been utterly decimated, just to be clear on the
- 29:03Speaker 1: circumstances right now. And if that's not good enough for you,
- 29:06Speaker 1: if the vice president of the United States is not
- 29:07Speaker 1: good enough, how about the president of the United States?
- 29:09Speaker 1: Here he is this morning at the G7 saying, look,
- 29:13Speaker 1: it's really clear here. If Iran screws this up, we
- 29:15Speaker 1: are punching them directly in the face.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Watch this.
- 29:20Speaker 3: No, it's not final. It's a memorandum of understanding. And
- 29:25Speaker 3: if I don't like it, we'll go back to shooting
- 29:29Speaker 3: at them, dropping bombs on their head. If I don't
- 29:33Speaker 3: like it, if they don't behave, we'll go right back
- 29:36Speaker 3: to dropping bombs right smack in the middle of their head. OK,
- 29:41Speaker 3: because they misbehaved for 47 years. All right. But nobody
- 29:47Speaker 3: could have made this deal. I mean, the JCPOA done
- 29:50Speaker 3: by Obama, he handed him a billion seven in cash,
- 29:54Speaker 3: gave him hundreds of millions of Hundreds of gave.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Him billions and billions of dollars.
- 30:00Speaker 3: But he gave him one point seven billion dollars in cash,
- 30:04Speaker 3: green cash from banks into a Boeing 757 and flew
- 30:09Speaker 3: it into Iran. And they stood at the plane. I
- 30:13Speaker 3: have pictures of.
- 30:13Speaker 1: It like, oh, look at this money he's giving us.
- 30:17Speaker 3: He tried to bribe his way out. I didn't do that.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Nobody mentions that. One point seven billion and billions. hundreds
- 30:23Speaker 3: of millions of dollars. They tried to bribe their way
- 30:26Speaker 3: out of it. And you know what the Iranians did?
- 30:30Speaker 3: They laughed at Obama and they said he's a stupid
- 30:33Speaker 3: son of a bitch.
- 30:41Speaker 10: I like that.
- 30:42Speaker 1: That was generational. He's he's cranking out some good clips lately.
- 30:46Speaker 3: All right.
- 30:46Speaker 1: I've got more to get to on this subject and

- 33:32Speaker 7: All right.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Joining us now, I'm very happy to have Dr. Kevin
- 33:35Speaker 1: Roberts back on the program. He's the president of the
- 33:38Speaker 1: wonderful Heritage Foundation. Sir, great to see you again.
- 33:41Speaker 8: Thanks for having me, Vince, and thanks for everything you're doing.
- 33:44Speaker 8: A lot of news going on today, and actually, I
- 33:46Speaker 8: think you and I believe it's all good, contrary to
- 33:48Speaker 8: what many say.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Yeah, what is that? Why is that? So I've, you know,
- 33:51Speaker 1: one of the things I've identified this week is that
- 33:54Speaker 1: on one side, you have people who say that President
- 33:57Speaker 1: Trump is a puppet of Netanyahu. On the opposite side,
- 34:01Speaker 1: you have people who say that he's being played like
- 34:03Speaker 1: a fiddle by Iran. It seems impossible that both of
- 34:06Speaker 1: those things can be true. And I would submit that
- 34:08Speaker 1: neither of them are true.
- 34:09Speaker 2: No, it's true. It's interesting.
- 34:11Speaker 8: And some of these people who are saying that explicitly
- 34:14Speaker 8: or insinuating it really effectively, you know, persuading some Americans
- 34:19Speaker 8: about that, know Donald Trump well. I mean, to your point,
- 34:22Speaker 8: they know that this is someone who is probably the
- 34:25Speaker 8: least likely person on the planet to to be anyone's puppet.
- 34:28Speaker 8: And then in addition to that, if you think about
- 34:30Speaker 8: the foreign policy success this term, Vince, along with the
- 34:34Speaker 8: foreign policy success in the first term, there hasn't been
- 34:37Speaker 8: an American president There's more of the benefit of the
- 34:42Speaker 8: doubt than Donald Trump. And these same people who say
- 34:45Speaker 8: he's either a puppet of Netanyahu or is sort of
- 34:49Speaker 8: operating slavishly to the supreme leader of Iran forget that
- 34:53Speaker 8: this is someone who has basically reestablished geopolitics in a
- 34:58Speaker 8: way that No American president has done in modern history.
- 35:02Speaker 2: And I think he deserves a lot of credit.
- 35:04Speaker 8: And at the very least, at the very least, to
- 35:06Speaker 8: sum up here, he deserves a few days for the
- 35:09Speaker 8: actual text of the MOU to be released.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Yes, that's right, which they say will be released by
- 35:14Speaker 1: week's end. They have an official signing ceremony on Friday.
- 35:17Speaker 1: They had an electronic signature on Monday. You know, there
- 35:21Speaker 1: are elements here, like I've gotten a lot of social
- 35:23Speaker 1: media posts about this. And by the way, like lots
- 35:25Speaker 1: of good faith exchanges on the subject. People are sincere
- 35:29Speaker 1: in their views. I'm not discounting that at all. But like,
- 35:32Speaker 1: for instance, one that I get from time to time
- 35:33Speaker 1: is like, well, why isn't he rescuing all of the
- 35:36Speaker 1: Iranian people right now? He's selling them out. And I
- 35:39Speaker 1: look at this and I think, how is that? I
- 35:41Speaker 1: don't understand exactly how this is a sellout. Is it
- 35:43Speaker 1: ideal that the Iranian regime has any of these Muslim
- 35:46Speaker 1: mullah clerics still in place? No, it's not ideal. But
- 35:50Speaker 1: I think President Trump has come to a realization that
- 35:52Speaker 1: few in Washington have. that this pursuit of some sort
- 35:56Speaker 1: of utopia where everything is exactly as you devised in
- 36:00Speaker 1: your bedroom is never going to actually be the way
- 36:02Speaker 1: that the world conducts its affairs. And it certainly sometimes
- 36:05Speaker 1: invites more chaos. I mean, we saw what happened in
- 36:07Speaker 1: Iraq and Afghanistan, especially in Iraq. And I think the
- 36:10Speaker 1: president learned lessons from those conflicts and said, OK, how
- 36:13Speaker 1: can I achieve the best possible outcome with the fewest
- 36:17Speaker 1: American lives expended in the process?
- 36:20Speaker 8: No, that's the remarkable thing about this is it's so thoughtful.
- 36:25Speaker 8: It is so oriented around peace, but peace with real strength.
- 36:29Speaker 8: I mean, there are some of the president's critics this
- 36:31Speaker 8: week who are arguing that the MOU is too weak,
- 36:35Speaker 8: even though we don't know the final text, who forget
- 36:38Speaker 8: that it's Trump more than any other president who has
- 36:42Speaker 8: this conservative sense of foreign policy. But at his core,
- 36:46Speaker 8: he's someone who doesn't want to put American lives at
- 36:48Speaker 8: risk if he can avoid it.
- 36:50Speaker 2: And he's achieved that. We've seen it in Venezuela. We've
- 36:53Speaker 2: seen it in Iran.
- 36:55Speaker 8: And it would seem as if, given this pragmatism that
- 36:58Speaker 8: sort of transcends the two ideological poles in our politics,
- 37:03Speaker 8: that people would give him more time. But they're not
- 37:06Speaker 8: going to. And the real problem isn't just the left.
- 37:08Speaker 8: It's a handful of voices on the right. And look,
- 37:11Speaker 8: I want to steel man, not straw man their argument.
- 37:13Speaker 8: To steel man the argument, they believe, and they're beginning
- 37:16Speaker 8: to say explicitly, that if the president has gone this
- 37:19Speaker 8: far already, then there ought.
- 37:21Speaker 2: To be regime change.
- 37:22Speaker 8: One of these interlocutors has said there ought to be
- 37:25Speaker 8: American boots on the ground. The president apparently disagrees with that.
- 37:28Speaker 8: We at Heritage disagree with that. There is a way
- 37:31Speaker 8: forward on this to actually achieve peace, generational peace, if
- 37:35Speaker 8: not permanent peace, that really deserves a heck of a
- 37:38Speaker 8: lot more credit than the president is getting from some
- 37:41Speaker 8: of his supposed friends.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Well, I think one of the motivators for the president
- 37:45Speaker 1: is merely apparently not what he just believes, but also
- 37:47Speaker 1: what he thinks the voters are interested in. Because he
- 37:50Speaker 1: was asked, I think it was last week, he was
- 37:53Speaker 1: asked about Karg Island and whether or not he would
- 37:56Speaker 1: stage an invasion of Karg Island. And he goes, look,
- 37:59Speaker 1: we might do that. But the truth is, like, the
- 38:01Speaker 1: American people don't want that. He said out loud in
- 38:03Speaker 1: his interviews, like it's actually what the voters want. And
- 38:06Speaker 1: there's not an appetite for that where there's not an
- 38:07Speaker 1: appetite for deploying troops in this way. And and that
- 38:11Speaker 1: is an unusual characteristic to have an American leader who
- 38:16Speaker 1: actually gives a crap about what the voters think on
- 38:18Speaker 1: this subject.
- 38:20Speaker 2: No, it's so true.
- 38:21Speaker 8: It's it's so impressive to me what we've been saying
- 38:24Speaker 8: at Heritage. for the last few months is there are
- 38:27Speaker 8: two competing goods here. On the one hand, the good
- 38:30Speaker 8: of eliminating the military and nuclear threat of Iran. And
- 38:33Speaker 8: on the other hand, the good of getting this president
- 38:37Speaker 8: who's so good on domestic policy, especially the economy, to
- 38:40Speaker 8: have the time and the political capital to spend.
- 38:42Speaker 2: On that issue.
- 38:43Speaker 8: And we want both of those to be the case, right?
- 38:45Speaker 8: And so what's reflected in the president's explicit statement that
- 38:48Speaker 8: you cited, Vince, is that understanding. Why does he have that?
- 38:52Speaker 8: Is it just some remarkable gift of instinct?
- 38:54Speaker 3: Yes.
- 38:55Speaker 8: But it's because he listens to normal, everyday Americans who
- 38:58Speaker 8: are saying, sir, We support you.
- 39:00Speaker 2: We certainly support our troops.
- 39:01Speaker 8: We even support a world in which Iran is less powerful,
- 39:05Speaker 8: but we really love it when you spend time on
- 39:07Speaker 8: domestic policy, especially the economy.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Could you please get back to that? And I think
- 39:11Speaker 2: that's what the president's doing.
- 39:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:13Speaker 1: There's a, there's a lot of interesting dynamics here. Um, I,
- 39:16Speaker 1: I mean, I think at its core, I mean, and
- 39:18Speaker 1: what I feel so, what I feel so blessed about
- 39:20Speaker 1: is that I feel like I'm, I'm unencumbered by like the,
- 39:23Speaker 1: all these competing interests. I like, I just care about
- 39:25Speaker 1: the truth and the best outcome for the American people. And,
- 39:29Speaker 1: you know, I look at this like clearly, like if
- 39:31Speaker 1: you are if you are zealous about the Iranian regime
- 39:34Speaker 1: and you think that there's just no way the president
- 39:36Speaker 1: can bring them to heel, you think this is a
- 39:37Speaker 1: once in a lifetime opportunity to destroy them. So you're like, man,
- 39:40Speaker 1: we've gone this far.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Let's finish this.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Finish the job. Let's finish them off. And the president saying, look,
- 39:45Speaker 1: I know what you want. I get it. But we've
- 39:47Speaker 1: seen this play out before. And it's been another disaster.
- 39:50Speaker 1: ISIS was created. out of this kind of thinking. So
- 39:53Speaker 1: let's not do that. Let's settle down and see if
- 39:56Speaker 1: we can figure out the best return on investment here.
- 40:00Speaker 1: And I just... I just wish the cooler heads would prevail.
- 40:04Speaker 1: I really think that if just people just told the truth,
- 40:06Speaker 1: that that would be the best thing. The other piece here,
- 40:08Speaker 1: I think, Kevin, is that I think that a lot
- 40:10Speaker 1: of this also has to do with 2028 politics too.
- 40:13Speaker 1: I think people are trying to inject a lot of
- 40:16Speaker 1: like Marco Rubio versus JD Vance nonsense into the middle
- 40:20Speaker 1: of all of this. And what I find so funny
- 40:22Speaker 1: about that is first and foremost, it was President Trump
- 40:25Speaker 1: who asked JD to run the negotiations to begin with.
- 40:28Speaker 1: So it's President Trump's judgment that led to this. And
- 40:31Speaker 1: then Marco Rubio is seated alongside President Trump at the G7,
- 40:35Speaker 1: supporting him every step of the way. Rubio is not
- 40:37Speaker 1: crapping on this. Rubio is a part of the negotiating
- 40:40Speaker 1: team to make it happen. And yet there are people
- 40:42Speaker 1: trying to pit these two guys against each other in
- 40:44Speaker 1: a world where it seems like they're not actually pitted
- 40:46Speaker 1: against each other at all in real life.
- 40:48Speaker 8: And both men, both the vice president and the secretary
- 40:51Speaker 8: of state, both of whom have done exceptional jobs.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Continue to say there's no rivalry.
- 40:57Speaker 8: The Secretary of State has said explicitly he's not running
- 40:59Speaker 8: for the Republican presidential nomination in 2028 if Vice President
- 41:03Speaker 8: Vance runs. I know Rubio well enough to know he's
- 41:05Speaker 8: an honest man.
- 41:06Speaker 2: He's a man of his word.
- 41:07Speaker 8: But if you take a step back and ask yourself,
- 41:10Speaker 8: why is this happening? It has everything to do with
- 41:12Speaker 8: this split in conservative foreign policy that we at Heritage
- 41:16Speaker 8: have not only observed, but we've sort of been part
- 41:18Speaker 8: of that, right? And saying that Peace through strength is
- 41:21Speaker 8: actually making sure that you have a much more restrained,
- 41:23Speaker 8: non-interventionist foreign policy. And there are people who, although they
- 41:28Speaker 8: are a minority of the conservative movement now, and I
- 41:30Speaker 8: say this respectfully of them, Vince. I disagree with them,
- 41:33Speaker 8: but I respect them. There are people in that minority
- 41:37Speaker 8: opinion who want to sort of impose upon someone like
- 41:40Speaker 8: Rubio power. this belief that they can resurrect the interventionist
- 41:45Speaker 8: foreign policy, say, of George W.
- 41:46Speaker 3: Bush.
- 41:47Speaker 8: And the most charitable thing I can say about that
- 41:50Speaker 8: is we've tried that and it didn't work. And the president,
- 41:53Speaker 8: to your earlier point, has learned that lesson. And we
- 41:55Speaker 8: all ought to learn that lesson so that we can
- 41:57Speaker 8: do the great work of the American people.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Let me ask a question about Rubio. And I don't
- 42:03Speaker 1: know how well you know him, but I do know
- 42:04Speaker 1: that there's a heritage touchpoint to Rubio's career right now.
- 42:08Speaker 1: There's a guy, Mike Needham, who went from Heritage, started
- 42:11Speaker 1: working with Rubio. He's often credited as helping Rubio along
- 42:14Speaker 1: the way of becoming a much better American politician, the
- 42:17Speaker 1: truth be told. And when I think of Rubio's career,
- 42:20Speaker 1: I'm nervous about him early on, about a decade ago
- 42:24Speaker 1: or so, when he was on board with Lindsey Graham
- 42:26Speaker 1: on an amnesty package. He was a part of what
- 42:28Speaker 1: they called at the time the Gang of Eight immigration bill, Graham-nesty,
- 42:31Speaker 1: some people refer to it as. And there was Rubio
- 42:33Speaker 1: like rooting it on, you know. And in fact, Rubio actually,
- 42:38Speaker 1: I think he blurbed JFK's book, Nation of Immigrants. His
- 42:42Speaker 1: name is on the cover, which is kind of annoying.
- 42:44Speaker 1: I'm like, don't buy into that crap. Why are you
- 42:46Speaker 1: involved in this garbage? But then in recent times, it
- 42:49Speaker 1: seems like that he's gone through, as far as I
- 42:53Speaker 1: can tell, a kind of genuine evolution, like one where
- 42:57Speaker 1: he's realized, in a way, the error of his ways
- 43:01Speaker 1: and a sincere concern about American sovereignty now that didn't
- 43:04Speaker 1: exist before. And I don't know, what do you see
- 43:08Speaker 1: in your proximity to him?
- 43:10Speaker 2: That's exactly what I see.
- 43:11Speaker 8: And I'll answer the core of your question, but I
- 43:14Speaker 8: just want to pass along a compliment to Mike Needham,
- 43:16Speaker 8: who was the first president of Heritage Action 16 years ago.
- 43:19Speaker 8: And Needham is just one of the best people in
- 43:22Speaker 8: our business. So whomever he would be working with or
- 43:25Speaker 8: for would benefit from his counsel. On Rubio, I would
- 43:28Speaker 8: say this. I sort of see it through my own evolution,
- 43:32Speaker 8: as we've discussed on foreign policy. Rubio and I are
- 43:35Speaker 8: about the same age. And he and I have talked
- 43:36Speaker 8: about this, that I'm, as I say, a recovering neocon.
- 43:40Speaker 8: I was fully supportive of the Iraq war. I was
- 43:43Speaker 8: in academia at the time, the only conservative defending President
- 43:46Speaker 8: Bush and our policies. And then I realized about five
- 43:49Speaker 8: years later that it was a fool's errand. And I
- 43:51Speaker 8: say that respectfully of the former president and certainly of
- 43:54Speaker 8: all of our military personnel who were there. I think
- 43:57Speaker 8: Rubio's undergone the same transition. And maybe it has something
- 44:00Speaker 8: to do with being Generation Xers, that we definitely find
- 44:06Speaker 8: appealing the peace through strength language, but we also understand
- 44:09Speaker 8: that the United States can't afford to do that. We literally,
- 44:13Speaker 8: being $ 37 trillion in debt, can't afford to do that.
- 44:16Speaker 8: And Rubio is smart enough, I think, to have seen that.
- 44:19Speaker 8: And it's been wonderful to see this evolution from that,
- 44:22Speaker 8: but also from the Gang of Eight amnesty, which I
- 44:25Speaker 8: was not supportive of.
- 44:27Speaker 2: And that happens. And I think there's a certain.
- 44:30Speaker 8: There's a certain humility there, intellectually, politically, that is wanting
- 44:35Speaker 8: in Washington.
- 44:36Speaker 2: And I think that's very endearing.
- 44:38Speaker 1: And, you know- And I detect that in JD Vance
- 44:39Speaker 1: as well. JD Vance just admitted as much yesterday in
- 44:42Speaker 1: his interview with The View. He's like, yeah, I was
- 44:44Speaker 1: dumb about these things. I thought the president was wrong.
- 44:47Speaker 1: I thought President Trump was wrong. And then he proved
- 44:49Speaker 1: me wrong when he succeeded in raising wages for working
- 44:53Speaker 1: people all across the country. And I said it wasn't
- 44:55Speaker 1: gonna happen and it did. So I have the humility
- 44:58Speaker 1: to admit I was wrong. And I actually took that
- 45:00Speaker 1: as kind of like a backhanded assessment of the view women,
- 45:03Speaker 1: which are which who have no humility and no capability
- 45:06Speaker 1: to admit they're wrong ever.
- 45:08Speaker 8: No, I was just about to say that that attribute
- 45:11Speaker 8: of humility that is apparent to me in Rubio, the
- 45:14Speaker 8: vice president has in spades, right? And you've seen it
- 45:16Speaker 8: in all the media that he's done, just by virtue
- 45:19Speaker 8: of being on The View with these crazy women, which.
- 45:22Speaker 2: We ought to do.
- 45:23Speaker 8: Even as ridiculous as it may seem, and I had
- 45:27Speaker 8: some friends at Heritage say, why is he doing that?
- 45:29Speaker 2: I said, it's great.
- 45:30Speaker 8: As ridiculous as it may seem, it's important that we
- 45:32Speaker 8: try to go model this civil discourse. It's never going
- 45:35Speaker 8: to be reestablished if we on the right don't try
- 45:37Speaker 8: to do that.
- 45:38Speaker 1: I Also, I like watching an unfair fight occasionally when
- 45:41Speaker 1: my guy's winning it easily. I enjoy watching those. Hey,
- 45:45Speaker 1: before we let you go today, I know you're also
- 45:46Speaker 1: very concerned about the Save America Act. I started the
- 45:48Speaker 1: show on that subject today. John Thune gave a series
- 45:51Speaker 1: of nonsensical answers on the subject yesterday to Brett Baier,
- 45:55Speaker 1: which were designed to conceal the fact that he kind
- 45:57Speaker 1: of wants this issue to definitely go away. The last
- 46:00Speaker 1: thing he wants to do is keep talking about it.
- 46:02Speaker 1: And the president keeps... pulling rabbits out of his hat. Overnight,
- 46:06Speaker 1: he said, yeah, I'm pulling my DNI nominee, Jay Clayton,
- 46:12Speaker 1: and I'm going to annoy you in the Senate until
- 46:14Speaker 1: you give me the Save America Act. So what do
- 46:16Speaker 1: you make of this fight?
- 46:17Speaker 2: Let me be really clear.
- 46:18Speaker 8: The Heritage Foundation and Heritage Action support that 100%. We've
- 46:22Speaker 8: been saying for months, it may be the only way
- 46:25Speaker 8: to get Save America Act passed is to attach it
- 46:27Speaker 8: to FISA. And so I applaud the president for what
- 46:31Speaker 8: he's doing. And I just have to observe respectfully of
- 46:34Speaker 8: Leader Thune. I'm with Heritage is with Senator Mike Lee
- 46:37Speaker 8: on this. How Thune described the situation and the rules
- 46:40Speaker 8: of the Senate yesterday are wrong. It's just utterly wrong.
- 46:44Speaker 8: The way you do this is to actually force debate.
- 46:47Speaker 8: And you ultimately, as Mike Lee has outlined so well
- 46:51Speaker 8: for many months, There is a way forward. It's really
- 46:54Speaker 8: important we get this done if we want to secure
- 46:56Speaker 8: our elections. And I just have to take a moment,
- 46:59Speaker 8: even though you've explained Save America well, Vince, over many months,
- 47:02Speaker 8: to remind people all this is is voter identification and
- 47:05Speaker 8: making sure that you're a citizen to be voting in
- 47:07Speaker 8: our elections. It's not controversial. It's an 80-20, if not
- 47:10Speaker 8: an 85-15 issue. We're totally with the president. We need
- 47:14Speaker 8: to get this done. We need to get it done
- 47:15Speaker 8: this summer.
- 47:16Speaker 1: And finally, because Heritage Action, I know for years has
- 47:19Speaker 1: had this– this scoring system whereby you score people based
- 47:23Speaker 1: on how conservative you think they are, based on their
- 47:25Speaker 1: actual behavior in Congress. And I know it's led to
- 47:29Speaker 1: some consternation from time to time among Republicans. They don't
- 47:32Speaker 1: like when they get scored negatively. Is it possible to
- 47:35Speaker 1: score them on their behavior around this issue? In other words,
- 47:39Speaker 1: this is not technically, in some cases, a vote. It's
- 47:41Speaker 1: really an appetite to actually use the rules of the
- 47:44Speaker 1: Senate to get this done. Could you envision a score
- 47:47Speaker 1: on this subject that it'll hurt you if you fail
- 47:49Speaker 1: to push the Save America Act through?
- 47:51Speaker 2: Sure.
- 47:51Speaker 8: I mean, for all of us at Heritage Action, which
- 47:54Speaker 8: publishes our school card, we easily could envision that. We're
- 47:57Speaker 8: not only monitoring this closely, but working feverishly behind the
- 48:00Speaker 8: scenes to help the Senate force a vote on this.
- 48:04Speaker 8: The great thing about this is just to paint a
- 48:06Speaker 8: positive picture for senators.
- 48:07Speaker 2: Who may be worried.
- 48:09Speaker 8: Is it's really popular the the conservative base will turn
- 48:12Speaker 8: out of the midterms if you go do this this
- 48:14Speaker 8: is one of the reasons we need to do it.
- 48:16Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah two big reasons one make sure the
- 48:18Speaker 1: elections are secure and get your voters to show up
- 48:21Speaker 1: in fact it's like kind of the whole point it's
- 48:22Speaker 1: like when you do good things we reward you with
- 48:24Speaker 1: more votes uh thank you very much dr kevin roberts
- 48:27Speaker 1: heritage foundation thanks for your great leadership at that organization
- 48:30Speaker 1: and for your time.
- 48:31Speaker 2: As always sir thanks vince take care there he.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Is kevin roberts uh great to talk to him glad
- 48:35Speaker 1: to have him in the fight um Yeah, he's great.
- 48:38Speaker 1: The chat loves having Kevin Roberts. Yeah, no, it's interesting.
- 48:41Speaker 1: I'm always interested. Look, the truth is, one of the
- 48:44Speaker 1: reasons why I wanted to dive into kind of the
- 48:46Speaker 1: subtext stories, which I'm always doing, is like, why is
- 48:49Speaker 1: everyone acting crazy about this? There's a lot of, there's
- 48:52Speaker 1: just a lot of subtextual fighting going on. There's a
- 48:56Speaker 1: lot of 2028 bracketing going on. People are trying to,
- 49:01Speaker 1: you know, prejudice your views towards people, whether it's J.D.
- 49:04Speaker 1: Vance or Marco Rubio. There's all sorts of competing interests, obviously,
- 49:08Speaker 1: that are at play. And, you know, as much as
- 49:10Speaker 1: you can, just like put them out in the open
- 49:12Speaker 1: and discuss them. And it really informs your ability to
- 49:15Speaker 1: understand what the hell's even going on. And it goes
- 49:18Speaker 1: back on Iran, as always. The president deserves immense credit
- 49:22Speaker 1: for setting that terrorist regime back by many decades. And
- 49:27Speaker 1: now where do we go from here? He's trying to
- 49:29Speaker 1: navigate to something great. And if it doesn't go his way,
- 49:32Speaker 1: what did he say? He's going to drop a bomb
- 49:33Speaker 1: on their heads. Yeah, I think we're in good hands.
- 49:37Speaker 1: I think we're in very good hands. That's why I
- 49:38Speaker 1: keep voting for the guy. Let me let me get
- 49:41Speaker 1: to one of the big, big items for today. We
- 49:44Speaker 1: talked a lot about a big a lot of big
- 49:45Speaker 1: news today so far. I got another big thing for you.
- 49:47Speaker 1: You ready this? Antifa is getting arrested again. Yesterday, a
- 49:53Speaker 1: huge breaking news story out of Minneapolis. Fifteen of these
- 49:57Speaker 1: insurrectionists just busted. Here is the U.S. attorney in the area,
- 50:02Speaker 1: Dan Rosen, announcing this indictment against these 15 Antifa lunatics.
- 50:07Speaker 2: Watch this.
- 50:08Speaker 10: Today, a federal indictment was unsealed, charging 15 defendants with
- 50:14Speaker 10: conspiracy to impede or injure federal officers and other charges
- 50:19Speaker 10: related to efforts of two Minneapolis-based Antifa groups that violently
- 50:24Speaker 10: opposed the enforcement of federal law in our state. The
- 50:29Speaker 10: defendants are members and associates of Direct Action Minnesota. They
- 50:35Speaker 10: are charged with conspiracy to impede or injure a federal officer,
- 50:42Speaker 10: solicitation to commit a crime of violence, interstate threats, interstate stalking,
- 50:50Speaker 10: assault on a federal officer, and destruction of government property.
- 50:59Speaker 10: Earlier this morning, agents of Homeland Security Investigations conducted a
- 51:05Speaker 10: coordinated law enforcement operation culminating in the arrest of 12
- 51:11Speaker 10: of the 15 defendants. One defendant had already been in
- 51:16Speaker 10: custody on other federal charges. Two defendants remain fugitives at large.
- 51:23Speaker 10: Today's charges and arrests reflect a broad federal effort to
- 51:28Speaker 10: address organized lawless behavior which seeks to disrupt the execution
- 51:31Speaker 10: of federal law, endanger law enforcement, and importantly, endanger the
- 51:37Speaker 10: very communities that these defendants falsely claim to be protecting.
- 51:42Speaker 1: I mean, these are the people who were attacking law enforcement,
- 51:45Speaker 1: burning things down, rioting night after night, issuing verbal threats,
- 51:50Speaker 1: saying they were going to take up arms, kill ICE agents.
- 51:52Speaker 1: They're all being arrested. They're all being arrested now, which
- 51:57Speaker 1: is wonderful. And this is just the latest round of
- 51:59Speaker 1: arrests on this subject. Justice keeps coming. This is one
- 52:02Speaker 1: of those stories. I think sometimes, you know, you and
- 52:03Speaker 1: I have friends who are like, none of these people,
- 52:06Speaker 1: do they ever get arrested? The answer is yes. And
- 52:08Speaker 1: oftentimes we talk about the arrest and then we move on.
- 52:10Speaker 1: And then sometimes I even forget the number of people
- 52:12Speaker 1: have been arrested. So this is great news. And I
- 52:14Speaker 1: will encourage it every time I see it. Arrest the
- 52:16Speaker 1: insurrectionists and keep going even further. Don't just get the Indians,
- 52:20Speaker 1: get the chiefs. Go out there. Everybody is organizing this
- 52:23Speaker 1: garbage and setting it all up. In fact, here's the U.S.
- 52:27Speaker 1: attorney explaining a little bit more about the organization that's involved.
- 52:30Speaker 1: It's called Direct Action Minnesota, D-A-M-N. Yeah, it's called DAM.
- 52:38Speaker 2: Of course. Here's the U.S.
- 52:39Speaker 1: Attorney explaining their militancy. Here's a little bit of that.
- 52:42Speaker 1: Cut six.
- 52:43Speaker 10: As the name suggests, Direct Action Minnesota is an organization
- 52:49Speaker 10: dedicated to direct action against federal law and immigration enforcement.
- 52:54Speaker 10: This action is not peaceful. It's obstructive, disruptive, and unlawful.
- 52:59Speaker 10: The organization trains its members in the aggressive use of
- 53:03Speaker 10: shields against law enforcement, surveillance, operational planning, and rapid mobilization
- 53:10Speaker 10: against law enforcement actions. Though investigations are ongoing, what we
- 53:18Speaker 10: know now is that Direct Action Minnesota is comprised of
- 53:21Speaker 10: members of subgroups. For example, The Black Hat Workers Collective.
- 53:27Speaker 10: The Black Hat Workers Collective is a Minneapolis-based Antifa affinity
- 53:32Speaker 10: group which advocates, promotes, and utilizes militant tactics and violence.
- 53:38Speaker 10: Here you can see that their Facebook cover page shows
- 53:44Speaker 10: as a banner the burning down of the Minneapolis Police
- 53:49Speaker 10: Department's 3rd Precinct.
- 53:51Speaker 2: Terrorists.
- 53:53Speaker 10: One of the leaders of Direct Action Minnesota, defending Kyle Wagner,
- 53:58Speaker 10: identifies himself as Antifa.
- 54:01Speaker 1: He doesn't shy away from it.
- 54:03Speaker 2: My name is Kyle.
- 54:04Speaker 10: I'm Antifa.
- 54:05Speaker 11: And there's so much rage in me that I've had
- 54:07Speaker 11: to record this like 15 times trying to get the
- 54:09Speaker 11: message out. They fucked up.
- 54:11Speaker 3: Okay?
- 54:12Speaker 11: Go watch my other videos. It doesn't matter if you're
- 54:14Speaker 11: not here and you're not caught up. You've missed the
- 54:16Speaker 11: fucking fight.
- 54:16Speaker 2: But if you are, it's time to suit up.
- 54:19Speaker 11: Boots on the ground. Nicolette and fucking 26th. My house
- 54:24Speaker 11: is four blocks away. Anywhere between Franklin and Nicollet and
- 54:27Speaker 11: 26th and Nicollet.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Show up. He's such an idiot.
- 54:31Speaker 2: Ready to go.
- 54:31Speaker 11: Okay? Not talking about peaceful protests anymore. We're not talking
- 54:36Speaker 11: about having polite conversations anymore. I am talking specifically to
- 54:40Speaker 11: my fucking followers. This is everything I have fucking talked about,
- 54:44Speaker 11: and this is exactly what I said was going to happen.
- 54:46Speaker 11: This is exactly what I said was going to fucking
- 54:49Speaker 11: come when we didn't fucking go and march on fucking.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Whipple with guns.
- 54:55Speaker 1: So that's Antifa Kyle. We've seen him before. He's been
- 54:57Speaker 1: arrested before. Here he is being arrested again for his
- 55:00Speaker 1: never-ending crimes as the feds crack down on that guy.
- 55:04Speaker 1: Charged again. I actually don't know the status of his current,
- 55:09Speaker 1: you know, detention. But he's being charged again by the feds.
- 55:13Speaker 1: which is good news. So they're busting all of these guys. Now,
- 55:15Speaker 1: you would think at a press conference like this, with
- 55:17Speaker 1: this kind of important news about the public safety of Minneapolis,
- 55:21Speaker 1: that the reporters that are in attendance would ask questions like,
- 55:25Speaker 1: how much more of a threat exists? Are you going
- 55:27Speaker 1: to take down other people?
- 55:28Speaker 3: Soon.
- 55:29Speaker 1: What about the leadership of this organization? Tell us more
- 55:31Speaker 1: about public safety. But instead of that, the questions consisted
- 55:35Speaker 1: of crap like, are you sure they're Antifa? Is Antifa
- 55:40Speaker 1: even a real group? Listen to this. Cut seven. A
- 55:43Speaker 1: real question and answer.
- 55:44Speaker 3: Watch.
- 55:46Speaker 2: How would you, how is DOJ, how do you define Antifa?
- 55:48Speaker 3: What is Antifa?
- 55:51Speaker 10: So what is Antifa goes beyond, I think, the scope
- 55:56Speaker 10: of what this indictment is. But what we can tell
- 55:59Speaker 10: you is that we have plenty of people that self-identify
- 56:03Speaker 10: in that way, and you might want to ask them
- 56:04Speaker 10: that question.
- 56:05Speaker 8: Is that a crime, being part of affiliating with.
- 56:07Speaker 2: This group, if it is even a group?
- 56:09Speaker 10: It's a crime to conspire for the purpose of impeding
- 56:14Speaker 10: or injuring federal officers. It's a crime to conspire together.
- 56:19Speaker 10: in order to commit crimes of violence. It's a crime
- 56:21Speaker 10: to get together to stalk. It's a crime to get
- 56:23Speaker 10: together to make threats. It's a crime to get together
- 56:26Speaker 10: to assault federal officers. It's a crime to get together
- 56:29Speaker 10: to destroy federal property.
- 56:32Speaker 3: Yes.
- 56:33Speaker 1: It's not a crime to have stupid opinions. It's a
- 56:35Speaker 1: crime to try and hurt people. How is this so
- 56:39Speaker 1: hard to understand? You know, it's just it's like, is
- 56:42Speaker 1: that a real reporter? Who is that person? What is Antifa?
- 56:47Speaker 1: Is Antifa even really a real thing?
- 56:50Speaker 2: Yes.
- 56:51Speaker 1: How do you know they're Antifa?
- 56:53Speaker 8: Well, I don't know.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Here's a way. You ready? Let's take a look at this.
- 57:00Speaker 2: What about this?
- 57:04Speaker 1: What am I looking at, Chad? What is this? For
- 57:06Speaker 1: those of you listening on the audio podcast, this is
- 57:08Speaker 1: Antifa Kyle being arrested. And I swear there's evidence in
- 57:12Speaker 1: this photo that seems to indicate that that he's Antifa,
- 57:16Speaker 1: what could the evidence possibly be? Maybe it's I'm Antifa
- 57:23Speaker 1: written on his freaking sweatshirt. How do we know this
- 57:28Speaker 1: guy's Antifa? Because he's the single dumbest criminal that I've
- 57:35Speaker 1: ever seen. He was telling people where he lives. I
- 57:38Speaker 1: live four blocks away from the building. I think everyone
- 57:40Speaker 1: needs to take up arms. We got to kill all
- 57:42Speaker 1: the ICE officials. I'm Antifa. Like, dude, did Donald Trump
- 57:46Speaker 1: hire you? It's so ridiculous. Yeah, he's the Knights of Columbus. Yeah,
- 57:53Speaker 1: that's right. He's just a choir boy. Look at that guy.
- 57:57Speaker 1: There's something wrong in that man's soul. He's got to
- 58:01Speaker 1: get right with Jesus.
- 58:01Speaker 2: Look at that.
- 58:02Speaker 1: I'm Antifa. Anyway, I'm The point is, there's just no
- 58:06Speaker 1: way to tell. There's no way to know if he's
- 58:09Speaker 1: Antifa or not. Those guys got busted. So that's good news.
- 58:14Speaker 1: What a bunch of good news to get as we
- 58:18Speaker 1: barrel through the week. Although I should tell you, That
- 58:21Speaker 1: good news led to more wailing.
- 58:24Speaker 2: What is it?
- 58:25Speaker 4: What is it again?
- 58:26Speaker 1: Wailing and gnashing of teeth, this time outside of that
- 58:28Speaker 1: federal courthouse as they were announcing the charges yesterday. Here's
- 58:31Speaker 1: Antifa rioting again yesterday. Watch this and pay special attention
- 58:36Speaker 1: if you're watching rubble.com slash Vince to the Antifa rioter
- 58:40Speaker 1: who gets thrown to the ground like a rag doll.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Watch.
- 58:48Speaker 1: There they are attacking the building. The cops come up.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Watch this cop come up and throw.
- 58:55Speaker 9: Ready?
- 58:57Speaker 2: Here he comes.
- 58:58Speaker 1: It's getting closer. Three, two, boom. That was a good throw.
- 59:09Speaker 1: That was a great that was a satisfying throw. Andy
- 59:13Speaker 1: Ngo catching this footage. Andy Ngo's great. We're rioting. They're
- 59:18Speaker 1: rioting because rioters have been charged. You know, it's funny.
- 59:22Speaker 1: I saw somebody on X-Post about this. They're like, Why
- 59:26Speaker 1: is it that there's never any consequences for this kind
- 59:29Speaker 1: of rioting? I'm like, well, I don't know. They're literally
- 59:31Speaker 1: rioting because there have been consequences for the rioters. So
- 59:36Speaker 1: don't say there are no consequences. There are definitely consequences.
- 59:39Speaker 1: And there should be more. Like this. Boom.
- 59:46Speaker 9: Boom.
- 59:47Speaker 1: Boom.
- 59:50Speaker 4: Boom.
- 59:52Speaker 12: Boom.
- 59:59Speaker 1: I could watch that all day. I was, I actually
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: was watching it for like way too long this morning.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I kept watching it over and over. I was like,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: that's a funny clip. Josh thought so too. So we
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: edited it. It's almost as good as when Katabagas Agobago
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: got thrown down in Illinois. That was a good one.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: When she got thrown and she bounced off of her
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: little rear end on the ground. That was really good. Well,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: we'll keep our eyes open for videos like that. Justice Served.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: It's one of my favorite genres of video. As always,

- 1:01:03Speaker 12: I think a lot of people are underestimating the Trump
- 1:01:06Speaker 12: effect in this midterm. You've heard it yourself. Act like
- 1:01:09Speaker 12: I'm on the ballot. Why is he saying that? You
- 1:01:12Speaker 12: think he doesn't know what he's doing? That is the
- 1:01:15Speaker 12: X factor. Folks, elections are a math issue.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: That is it. This is not a football game.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: If you vote, we will win.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: It is not complicated.
