- 0:00Speaker 1: All right.
- 0:00Speaker 2: Welcome back to sec football addiction, UF in South Carolina
- 0:04Speaker 2: this week in what appears to be a rainy game
- 0:06Speaker 2: in the swamp.
- 0:07Speaker 3: This is presented by prize picks.
- 0:09Speaker 2: We're all new users who play a $ 5 lineup and
- 0:11Speaker 2: win get 150 in lineups instantly. If they use code
- 0:14Speaker 2: HMA alley peak, a peak inside Gators football. And yeah,
- 0:19Speaker 2: I think we both drank a whole lot of Kool-Aid
- 0:21Speaker 2: on UF through the first month of the season. And
- 0:24Speaker 2: we had to spit a little bit of that back
- 0:25Speaker 2: up differing thoughts on what exactly went wrong and not
- 0:29Speaker 2: to just completely, you know, relitigate the Missouri game, but
- 0:33Speaker 2: how many of Florida's issues are correctable and how many
- 0:38Speaker 2: issues are, man, you're just gonna have to live with
- 0:41Speaker 2: it this year and find a way to, to win
- 0:43Speaker 2: games outside of some of the issues they have.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I mean, I think a lot of them are correctable.
- 0:48Speaker 1: I think the biggest, you know, when you get a
- 0:50Speaker 1: new coaching staff, one of the last things that clicks
- 0:53Speaker 1: is consistently consistency. can you do all the things you
- 0:58Speaker 1: need to do to dominate an opponent every day?
- 1:01Speaker 4: Week in, week out, all the time.
- 1:04Speaker 1: And I think teams get up for big games first
- 1:07Speaker 1: before they get to that consistent level. And I think
- 1:10Speaker 1: that Florida is just not consistent yet. So, I mean,
- 1:15Speaker 1: we've watched this offensive line play so much better than
- 1:19Speaker 1: they played against Missouri. This defense, which hasn't been good,
- 1:23Speaker 1: played their worst game of the season. So worse than,
- 1:27Speaker 1: you know, they had the previous four games. I think
- 1:29Speaker 1: that there's a lot of things that are correctable. I
- 1:31Speaker 1: watched several different offensive line breakdowns of this game in
- 1:35Speaker 1: comparison to Florida's previous games. And while I think Missouri
- 1:38Speaker 1: had a really good game plan to stop Florida's offense.
- 1:40Speaker 1: And part of that is matchup too. Missouri is not
- 1:43Speaker 1: going to be the best team that Florida plays this season,
- 1:46Speaker 1: but they may be the worst matchup for the Gators
- 1:48Speaker 1: that they play this season. This is such a similar
- 1:50Speaker 1: offense to what they see in practice every single day.
- 1:53Speaker 1: So if there's a defense that's going to know how
- 1:54Speaker 1: to defend.
- 1:55Speaker 4: It, it's Missouri's.
- 1:56Speaker 1: But when you watch this offensive line, there are many
- 2:01Speaker 1: times where this, where somebody is doing the wrong thing
- 2:04Speaker 1: or there's a miscommunication between more than one player on
- 2:08Speaker 1: the offensive line. That's not something we saw the first
- 2:10Speaker 1: four weeks. But there are multiple things that you can
- 2:13Speaker 1: point to where two guys are blocking one person and
- 2:16Speaker 1: there's a gap completely open and somebody walks in untouched.
- 2:19Speaker 1: There are multiple times that that happened. That's a communication issue.
- 2:22Speaker 1: That's not a talent issue. That's not a scheme issue.
- 2:26Speaker 1: These guys were confused. Now, was that road environment? Was
- 2:30Speaker 1: that something the defense was doing that confused him. That part,
- 2:33Speaker 1: I don't know the answer to, but I do think
- 2:35Speaker 1: things like that are easily correctable from one week.
- 2:39Speaker 4: To the other.
- 2:41Speaker 2: The defense was something that Summerall got on. And I
- 2:45Speaker 2: think even fans were like, Hey man, we did Ole
- 2:47Speaker 2: Miss have 28. Like we held them to 28. We
- 2:49Speaker 2: played well, you know, that was something that he got on.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Obviously the defense had its issues against Missouri.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Thoughts on.
- 2:59Speaker 2: And so that's a unit that, At times this year
- 3:02Speaker 2: has been really good. At times, you know, I know
- 3:04Speaker 2: we kind of discounted the end of the game against Auburn.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Thought they were fairly good against Ole Miss and then,
- 3:10Speaker 2: you know, not super good. But, I mean, just total points,
- 3:12Speaker 2: total yardage-wise, not been great, you know, across three SEC games.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Thoughts around where that unit needs the most help? What
- 3:21Speaker 2: can be done in the meantime?
- 3:23Speaker 1: I mean, I think the DBs are where Florida needs
- 3:25Speaker 1: the most help if I'm looking at a position. But.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Florida gave up.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Four explosive plays for 235 yards on Saturday. If you
- 3:37Speaker 1: remove just those four explosives, Missouri's offense would have had
- 3:43Speaker 1: 325 yards. That's a hell of a lot more respectable
- 3:46Speaker 1: than the 560 that they finished with. So I think
- 3:50Speaker 1: if they can figure out a way to limit explosives,
- 3:53Speaker 1: that alone– is going to go a long way. Now
- 3:57Speaker 1: that's an easier said than done thing. Like, Hey, just
- 3:59Speaker 1: don't suck at your job. And then you don't suck. Um,
- 4:02Speaker 1: but if I don't think Florida has to dominate every
- 4:06Speaker 1: single defensive play, but I do think they need to
- 4:10Speaker 1: contain better. They need to not let a four yard
- 4:13Speaker 1: run become a 74 yard run, which happened last Saturday.
- 4:17Speaker 4: So, and I do think that these DBs need to
- 4:20Speaker 4: just be aggressive.
- 4:21Speaker 1: They, uh, I think they can get some takeaways if
- 4:24Speaker 1: they play that way. I think that they, whether you
- 4:27Speaker 1: make the tackle or you don't go at it with
- 4:29Speaker 1: 100% of what you've got, it doesn't appear like that happens.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Some it's almost like they're scared or they're not sure
- 4:35Speaker 1: where they're supposed to go. So there's a hesitation. Well,
- 4:37Speaker 1: you've lost already at that point, if you're going to hesitate. Um,
- 4:41Speaker 1: but I don't like. It's not like this one game
- 4:43Speaker 1: erases what happened in the first four. I think this
- 4:46Speaker 1: is still a really talented game. Is this the best
- 4:48Speaker 1: defense in the country?
- 4:49Speaker 4: Of course not. Is this a really, really good football
- 4:53Speaker 4: team overall? Yes.
- 4:55Speaker 2: The defensive issues, do you think they're more scheme or
- 5:00Speaker 2: more player issues?
- 5:03Speaker 1: Initially, I had thought scheme. But when I looked at
- 5:07Speaker 1: the breakdown of the nine explosive plays that Florida gave
- 5:11Speaker 1: up in the second.
- 5:11Speaker 4: Half, there were multiple times.
- 5:16Speaker 1: They were rushing for multiple times. They were rushing five,
- 5:18Speaker 1: multiple times. They were rushing six. So it wasn't that
- 5:22Speaker 1: there was different schemes and alignments for every single explosive.
- 5:26Speaker 1: So I don't know that it's that. And then six
- 5:28Speaker 1: different players were involved in nine explosives. Like it was
- 5:33Speaker 1: six different players fault. So again, When Summerall said at
- 5:36Speaker 1: the end of his press conference, if it was just
- 5:38Speaker 1: one thing that would be an easier thing to fix,
- 5:40Speaker 1: I think he's exactly right.
- 5:42Speaker 4: I think it's almost a little bit of everything.
- 5:44Speaker 1: But there's not one thing we can point to and say, well, shoot,
- 5:47Speaker 1: when we run this, we always fail, so let's take
- 5:50Speaker 1: it out of the rotation. Or this player is just
- 5:53Speaker 1: not good. Let's bench him. It's not as simple as that.
- 5:58Speaker 1: So I think the answer is both. Yeah.
- 6:02Speaker 2: The issues that exist are the issues and they'll try
- 6:06Speaker 2: and work through them through the next few weeks. It
- 6:08Speaker 2: gets a lot tougher after this week, but if there
- 6:10Speaker 2: was ever a team that you could have a get
- 6:11Speaker 2: right game against, it might be South Carolina. Now not
- 6:15Speaker 2: to undersell them because in a sloppy game and you know,
- 6:17Speaker 2: like they still have talent, they were still at 17
- 6:19Speaker 2: at one point on Kentucky, like, you know, they've not
- 6:22Speaker 2: finished well, but not to just completely discount them as
- 6:25Speaker 2: having zero shot in this game. But it's an opponent
- 6:28Speaker 2: that probably doesn't match up quite as well as Florida.
- 6:31Speaker 2: It's an opponent that's reeling. They don't know if they're
- 6:34Speaker 2: going to have a head coach in a few weeks.
- 6:36Speaker 2: I would think getting back home, getting humbled, puts Florida
- 6:42Speaker 2: in a really good spot for this game just overall
- 6:44Speaker 2: before we even get into the matchup.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Just before we go on, I will give some love
- 6:48Speaker 2: to our new top 25 poll.
- 6:51Speaker 3: A lot of you are like me and you hate
- 6:52Speaker 3: the AP poll.
- 6:54Speaker 2: So I created a better one that you can log
- 6:56Speaker 2: in right now and for free, go create your own
- 7:00Speaker 2: top 25 poll.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I'm setting up reminders.
- 7:03Speaker 2: I'm working on aggregating national college football analysts that we
- 7:07Speaker 2: all know and love and respect, or maybe even hate
- 7:09Speaker 2: just to get theirs in there as well. It's super slick.
- 7:13Speaker 2: The user interface is really, really easy to use. You
- 7:16Speaker 2: log in one time with your Google account and you
- 7:18Speaker 2: are all set. I'm not going to spam your email.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I'm not trying to sell you anything. There's no ads
- 7:23Speaker 2: on here. If somebody would like to put an ad
- 7:25Speaker 2: on there, please let me know. But it's just a
- 7:27Speaker 2: place where we can go collectively as fans vote on
- 7:32Speaker 2: the poll, the top 25 in college football. We're going
- 7:34Speaker 2: to work on a college football playoff one. Once we
- 7:36Speaker 2: get closer to November 15th, But go check this out.
- 7:38Speaker 2: It's CFATop25. com. Link is in the description. I'll pin the comment.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Go check it out right now.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I think being at home, regardless of
- 7:49Speaker 1: who you're playing, home environment, it's homecoming. There'll be a
- 7:53Speaker 1: lot of energy. That's a good thing for a rebound.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I also think that, you know, this team is really young.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I know I told you last week, and I agree
- 8:03Speaker 1: still this week, that it was a maturity test, that
- 8:06Speaker 1: I think this team failed. This is a young team
- 8:08Speaker 1: filled with kids who aren't used to winning anything. And
- 8:11Speaker 1: one of the things– you know, my husband played football
- 8:13Speaker 1: at Florida. One of the things he talked to me
- 8:15Speaker 1: about when they started winning under Meyer is that you
- 8:18Speaker 1: think you're giving your all, and you really.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Have to learn sometimes that you aren't.
- 8:24Speaker 1: And so let's say the way you prepared those first
- 8:27Speaker 1: four weeks you felt like was as hard as you
- 8:28Speaker 1: could prepare. Well, then you go into Missouri who– is
- 8:33Speaker 1: going to give you their absolute best shot. Who knows
- 8:37Speaker 1: what kind of shot Missouri was giving us, or excuse me,
- 8:40Speaker 1: Ole Miss was giving us, or Auburn was giving us,
- 8:41Speaker 1: when everybody didn't think Florida was very good.
- 8:44Speaker 4: And I'm not saying that those teams.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Don't work hard in practice to scheme for us or whatever,
- 8:47Speaker 1: but we became Missouri's Super Bowl.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Florida is now the hunted as opposed to.
- 8:52Speaker 1: You know....
- 8:54Speaker 4: They're there.
- 8:55Speaker 1: They are the top dog at this point in, in
- 8:57Speaker 1: a lot of these matchups. And so you're getting everybody's
- 8:59Speaker 1: best shot. And I think that that adapts how you
- 9:02Speaker 1: have to practice. And maybe that's a part of this
- 9:05Speaker 1: as well. Like Florida has.
- 9:06Speaker 4: To amp it up. Now, now you've got a target
- 9:07Speaker 4: on your back. Now you're getting everybody's best shot.
- 9:10Speaker 1: So you have to take a step forward too, or
- 9:12Speaker 1: you will lose those battles.
- 9:14Speaker 2: I think we know from the Florida perspective, just it's,
- 9:17Speaker 2: it's honestly the things that went wrong last week, the
- 9:19Speaker 2: running game, the offensive line, the defense, the explosive place.
- 9:22Speaker 2: From the South Carolina side, what are the concerns you
- 9:27Speaker 2: have with this team? Again, there's a reason they're a
- 9:29Speaker 2: two score dog. They've not looked great, but what are
- 9:32Speaker 2: the things they do that kind of give you some
- 9:33Speaker 2: pause and say, okay, well, if we haven't cleaned these
- 9:35Speaker 2: things up, here's where we can be in some trouble
- 9:37Speaker 2: again this week.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Well, I think that Lenore Sellers is one of the
- 9:41Speaker 1: most gifted athletes in the Southeastern conference. And so, and
- 9:45Speaker 1: you have to account for his feet and you have
- 9:46Speaker 1: to account for his arm. So that is something that
- 9:49Speaker 1: absolutely concerns me.
- 9:50Speaker 4: If he were to.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Get going, they also have a very strong running game
- 9:55Speaker 1: and you know, Florida until the second half of the
- 9:57Speaker 1: Missouri game has actually been pretty decent on run. D,
- 10:00Speaker 1: but that kind of went out the window the last
- 10:02Speaker 1: two quarters of that game. So was there some sort
- 10:05Speaker 1: of blueprint there that South Carolina could use? I don't know.
- 10:09Speaker 1: But I'm also interested to see if Dylan Stewart does,
- 10:12Speaker 1: in fact, come back and play, which I'm pretty sure
- 10:14Speaker 1: that he will.
- 10:16Speaker 4: He has been practicing.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Does he come back like a bat out of hell
- 10:20Speaker 1: with his hair on fire and something to prove because
- 10:22Speaker 1: of that suspension?
- 10:23Speaker 4: I think that's incredibly possible.
- 10:25Speaker 1: That's a guy who can change games all on his own,
- 10:29Speaker 1: and now you've given him an additional reason to get
- 10:33Speaker 1: up and to be angry. So that scares me as well.
- 10:36Speaker 1: And teams are dangerous when they have– nothing else to lose.
- 10:40Speaker 1: You know, there are backs against the wall. Shane Beamer is,
- 10:44Speaker 1: you know, on his, his seat couldn't be hotter, but
- 10:47Speaker 1: the locker room still believes in him. So that creates
- 10:49Speaker 1: an environment where you get to do us versus the world.
- 10:53Speaker 4: And that's dangerous too.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Is this a game you feel like Summerall will really
- 10:57Speaker 2: try and get back to the run? Weather could impact this.
- 11:00Speaker 2: So it probably is that. really try and get back
- 11:02Speaker 2: to the run or kind of use this game, whether
- 11:05Speaker 2: allowing to get Philo in the passing attack a little
- 11:11Speaker 2: bit more comfortable heading into Texas and Georgia for your
- 11:15Speaker 2: next two games, because Texas has a great run D
- 11:17Speaker 2: and so does Georgia.
- 11:18Speaker 3: So it's kind of like you need both.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Right. You do need both, and I do think this
- 11:22Speaker 1: would be the game. South Carolina has– if it's possible
- 11:26Speaker 1: to have worse DBs than Florida does, South Carolina does.
- 11:29Speaker 1: So I think you would want to maybe take advantage
- 11:31Speaker 1: of that. The other thing is I think that Summerall
- 11:33Speaker 1: is going to want to make a point in this game,
- 11:35Speaker 1: weather permitting, which will be part of this.
- 11:37Speaker 4: If it is.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Absolutely just pissing down rain the entire four quarters, there's
- 11:41Speaker 1: a great chance that we just get a lower scoring–
- 11:44Speaker 1: run fest and it is sloppy football all the way
- 11:46Speaker 1: around and something that can't really be avoided.
- 11:49Speaker 4: But if weather permitting.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I think that this is a scenario where he wants
- 11:53Speaker 1: to put 50 points on the board and he wants
- 11:55Speaker 1: to prove that last week was more of an anomaly
- 11:59Speaker 1: than some sort of forward moving trend.
- 12:01Speaker 4: So I don't think, I don't think.
- 12:03Speaker 1: We should discount the vindictiveness that I think Summerall has.
- 12:07Speaker 1: And it's nothing personal, South Carolina, you know, by any means,
- 12:10Speaker 1: but I do think if he has the ability to,
- 12:12Speaker 1: that's what he would want to do. But it would
- 12:13Speaker 1: be incredibly smart to try to get Aaron Philo comfortable
- 12:17Speaker 1: back there. Get this offensive line comfortable because that's truly–
- 12:22Speaker 1: Philo didn't play a great game. I think he made
- 12:25Speaker 1: the wrong read a couple times. I think he was
- 12:29Speaker 1: seeing things or not seeing things a little bit. But
- 12:32Speaker 1: he wouldn't be in my top five list of reasons
- 12:34Speaker 1: Florida lost that game. But that offensive line would probably
- 12:37Speaker 1: be reason number one. So, you know, giving them the
- 12:41Speaker 1: opportunity to work through some of those things before you've
- 12:44Speaker 1: got tougher competition, it makes sense in my head.
- 12:47Speaker 2: The, we felt going into the Missouri game, we felt
- 12:51Speaker 2: like if Florida won that they would have a really,
- 12:53Speaker 2: really good chance against both Texas and Georgia, Texas and
- 12:58Speaker 2: or Georgia, you know, I don't know that anybody had
- 13:01Speaker 2: them going to an O in that situation, but I
- 13:03Speaker 2: thought that they would have a chance in both those games.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Both those teams play rivalries this weekend.
- 13:07Speaker 2: So we'll certainly learn a little bit more about them
- 13:10Speaker 2: this weekend, especially, you know, Georgia playing a pretty tough
- 13:13Speaker 2: Alabama opponent. Um, are your thoughts around those games? I
- 13:17Speaker 2: have the, how, I guess, yeah, you're, you, you change
- 13:20Speaker 2: your thoughts like with every week about where the team is.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Are you just, and we'll get a comment that says like, Oh,
- 13:26Speaker 2: we should just be focused on South Carolina to answer
- 13:28Speaker 2: that comment before like Allie and I are not going
- 13:29Speaker 2: to impact the game tomorrow. So I don't mind asking
- 13:31Speaker 2: about the next two games. Um, Just have your thoughts
- 13:35Speaker 2: around those changed a bit and how.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Much, if so?
- 13:38Speaker 4: Not yet.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I mean, if Florida had lost by three points to Missouri,
- 13:43Speaker 1: I don't think anybody would be batting their eye at this.
- 13:45Speaker 1: It was an ass kicking and it spiraled and Florida
- 13:49Speaker 1: was not able to ever really right the ship. And
- 13:52Speaker 1: I think that's the part that makes it disheartening.
- 13:55Speaker 4: A little bit and concerning for fans.
- 13:58Speaker 1: But I do think Florida will be in every game
- 14:02Speaker 1: that is left on their schedule.
- 14:03Speaker 4: Now, does that mean that they win them all? Of
- 14:04Speaker 4: course not.
- 14:05Speaker 1: But they're going to be favored in every game but
- 14:07Speaker 1: Georgia and Texas. And I still believe that Florida will
- 14:11Speaker 1: be competitive in those. I actually think, and this is
- 14:14Speaker 1: not me saying Florida's going to beat Texas so.
- 14:17Speaker 4: All of your fans over there can.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Calm their mitts a little bit, but I think Florida
- 14:23Speaker 1: matches up better with Texas than I think Florida matches
- 14:26Speaker 1: up better with Missouri. And so I think there's a
- 14:29Speaker 1: great chance, even if Florida loses that game, which I
- 14:32Speaker 1: do have them slated to lose to Texas, I think
- 14:35Speaker 1: that matchup looks so much closer final score than the
- 14:38Speaker 1: Missouri-Florida one looked like. And I don't know that that's
- 14:41Speaker 1: because Florida suddenly fixed all these things that were wrong
- 14:43Speaker 1: in Missouri and played better against Texas. I think it'll
- 14:45Speaker 1: be in large part due to the fact that Florida
- 14:47Speaker 1: matches up better with Texas than they do against Missouri.
- 14:50Speaker 1: And I think that's part of what's been so interesting
- 14:53Speaker 1: to watch about this NIL era is that there is
- 14:55Speaker 1: so much parity between across programs that, you know, maybe
- 14:58Speaker 1: 10 years ago, the idea of, um, you know, Florida
- 15:03Speaker 1: getting absolutely dominated by Missouri would.
- 15:06Speaker 4: Be the signal that Florida was a horrible team.
- 15:09Speaker 1: But I do think there is so much parody now
- 15:12Speaker 1: that good and bad matchups makes such a difference in
- 15:16Speaker 1: the outcomes of these more than like good and bad programs. Yeah.
- 15:21Speaker 3: That's a great point. And to, to, to parallel that
- 15:23Speaker 3: with something.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Florida State played objectively horrible against SMU, and they were
- 15:28Speaker 2: only in that game because SMU lost a turnover battle
- 15:31Speaker 2: 4-0 until the final play of the game when they
- 15:33Speaker 2: were lateral.
- 15:33Speaker 1: In a round.
- 15:35Speaker 2: They played a 10 times better game. Now, they still
- 15:38Speaker 2: lost on the road at Tuscaloosa because Alabama could not
- 15:42Speaker 2: guard the explosive play, and their secondary just didn't play
- 15:45Speaker 2: very well. And it's crazy to think that a very
- 15:49Speaker 2: mediocre to bad team like Florida State could match up
- 15:52Speaker 2: better with Alabama than they could with SMU. But SMU
- 15:54Speaker 2: just ran the ball more effectively. Bama ran it well, too,
- 15:57Speaker 2: in the second half. But matchups are crazy. And I
- 16:00Speaker 2: agree with you. Looking at Florida and Texas, Florida's defense,
- 16:03Speaker 2: a lot of question marks, a lot of concerns, not
- 16:06Speaker 2: playing up to the level that their fans would want.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Texas' offense, kind of the same thing. Very clunky.
- 16:10Speaker 2: They haven't gotten in rhythm yet. We'll see what they
- 16:12Speaker 2: look like against a good Oklahoma defense. But then on
- 16:14Speaker 2: the other side, Florida's offense, kind of what they're known for.
- 16:16Speaker 2: They want to run the ball. Texas' defense has not allowed.
- 16:20Speaker 2: I don't think they've allowed a 100-yard rushing game yet. Uh,
- 16:22Speaker 2: against Tennessee, which is really, really good. I think they
- 16:24Speaker 2: had somewhere like 50 to be between 50 and 70
- 16:27Speaker 2: yards rushing. Um, so yeah, I think that it's good
- 16:31Speaker 2: on good and it's, I don't want to say bad
- 16:32Speaker 2: on bad, but good on good and bad on bad, right.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Or questionable and questionable. And so which unit is a
- 16:38Speaker 2: little bit better of the good, which one is a
- 16:39Speaker 2: little bit better for the bad, you know, um, Yeah.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I think that is really interesting. Georgia is kind of like,
- 16:47Speaker 2: I will worry about that in three weeks.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Because I want to see what they look like in,
- 16:51Speaker 3: in Tuscaloosa.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I think that Texas is, and granted Texas has the
- 16:55Speaker 1: best win of anybody in college football, but I, I
- 16:58Speaker 1: do think that Georgia is the more complete.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Team and, and consistent.
- 17:02Speaker 1: And that's the word that like, that's what I keep
- 17:05Speaker 1: coming back to with this Missouri game is mature maturity
- 17:08Speaker 1: and And consistency. And I don't think Florida is consistently
- 17:13Speaker 1: a good enough team yet. I think they, they are
- 17:15Speaker 1: a very good football team. Sometimes I think, you know,
- 17:22Speaker 1: I think they're incredibly talented.
- 17:23Speaker 4: I think they're ahead of schedule.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I think we moved the goalposts as fans and then
- 17:28Speaker 1: we were mad when we didn't meet.
- 17:30Speaker 4: The, the new goalposts, you know.
- 17:32Speaker 1: This, everything laid out in front of this team.
- 17:34Speaker 4: Most people had them going about eight and four, maybe
- 17:37Speaker 4: nine and three.
- 17:37Speaker 1: If you were feeling froggy, very possible for this team.
- 17:43Speaker 1: 10 and two is not out of the realm of possibilities.
- 17:46Speaker 1: It's going to, it's going to take some, some things,
- 17:49Speaker 1: but any, anything on the table for Florida that was
- 17:52Speaker 1: on the table before Missouri is still mathematically still on
- 17:56Speaker 1: the table. Yeah.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Um, I like Florida to roll here.
- 18:00Speaker 2: I know we've done this a bunch of times and
- 18:01Speaker 2: I don't remember what I've said, but you've done it
- 18:03Speaker 2: more than me. So you probably will remember, but give
- 18:05Speaker 2: me a score on this one.
- 18:06Speaker 4: Um, I have it 48, 24. Woo.
- 18:11Speaker 2: So just short of that 50 burger is, you know,
- 18:14Speaker 2: some are all close, but no, no cigar. The only
- 18:17Speaker 2: word I have on that is the weather. If it is,
- 18:19Speaker 2: if it is a weather game, I could see like 34, 14,
- 18:23Speaker 2: like just kind of just similarly dominant, but just like.
- 18:26Speaker 4: This hurricanes maybe moved up its timeline, the tiniest bit.
- 18:29Speaker 4: And so I almost wonder if we're not like, it
- 18:32Speaker 4: may just be really windy at that point.
- 18:33Speaker 3: And I've seen it shifted a little East too, which
- 18:36Speaker 3: is not the best for, for us where we live
- 18:38Speaker 3: and where the game will be. but faster and more East.
- 18:41Speaker 2: It's kind of like, okay, well, what's the field like
- 18:43Speaker 2: if it's dry, it would certainly be a help, but
- 18:46Speaker 2: who the heck knows.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Where it, where it goes. But Allie peak, what do
- 18:49Speaker 3: you have coming this week? I know you've done a ton.
- 18:51Speaker 3: So maybe a little bit about what you've already done
- 18:53Speaker 3: and what else will be happening.
- 18:55Speaker 4: Let's see.
- 18:56Speaker 1: We've got, I've got Jarvis Moss coming on. We've got
- 18:58Speaker 1: to talk about the 2006 cock block. So that's exciting
- 19:02Speaker 1: because we can't let the week pass without, you know,
- 19:05Speaker 1: memorializing the most famous play between Florida and South Carolina
- 19:09Speaker 1: and And let's see, we have, I've had talked to
- 19:12Speaker 1: multiple people from South Carolina, um, over the week to
- 19:15Speaker 1: got some really good insight on what they've got going
- 19:17Speaker 1: on there. We've kind of delving into the offensive line
- 19:20Speaker 1: problems a little bit and the things that we need
- 19:23Speaker 1: to hurry up and clean up very.
- 19:25Speaker 4: Very quickly.
- 19:26Speaker 2: I appreciate you for coming on. We appreciate our friends
