- 0:39Speaker 1: got Kezy, You've got Maggie and old pugsn and Meggie.
- 0:41Speaker 3: How are you feeling today, man mate on brand New? Obviously,
- 0:44Speaker 3: you and I went out and had our date night
- 0:46Speaker 3: on Saturday night there when I saw David Nyika fight
- 0:51Speaker 3: huge and thanks very much for Barkers for dressing you
- 0:54Speaker 3: and I are kezy. We look sensational and it was
- 0:59Speaker 3: It was a night of nights, isn't it. It was
- 1:01Speaker 3: for some more than others. Yeah, some more than others.
- 1:03Speaker 3: We'll get into that, but let me put it to
- 1:06Speaker 3: you this way, just as a little teaser. The pegs
- 1:08Speaker 3: on right. Oh Mezy had a shock ah.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Little teaser there. Don't want to give it all the
- 1:12Speaker 1: way though, Pugs. That's the secret with radio. How are
- 1:14Speaker 1: you today, mate?
- 1:15Speaker 4: I'm well, thanks Fellers. Always a pleasure to be here
- 1:17Speaker 4: with you guys.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Very grateful because you're thirty right. Yes, I'm thirty four
- 1:24Speaker 1: and I had a big weekend. You hit a double
- 1:26Speaker 1: hitter over the weekend. How are you feeling today?
- 1:28Speaker 4: Just fantastic, man. No, Look, there's a little bit of tiredness,
- 1:33Speaker 4: just sort of creeping in there around the sides. Yeah,
- 1:35Speaker 4: but inside all warm and fuzzy.
- 1:38Speaker 3: The difference, i'd say, Keasy, is that Pugs is probably
- 1:41Speaker 3: a bit more pest fit than you, which is crazy. Yeah,
- 1:45Speaker 3: you don't do it, Oh, absolutely well. I mean you're
- 1:47Speaker 3: young enough. You're young in a run missus, and by
- 1:51Speaker 3: then I mean running a young missus, which means you've
- 1:54Speaker 3: got to keep up with So you certainly do a
- 1:56Speaker 3: lot more benders than old Keesy does over here.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Responsible and I'm trying to start a family. So I'm
- 2:02Speaker 1: not trying to start a family. I mean my wife
- 2:03Speaker 1: doesn't think against families.
- 2:05Speaker 4: No, I don't hate your problem, man, I've got one
- 2:07Speaker 4: of those.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Have you?
- 2:09Speaker 1: Oh my god, are you expecting a baby?
- 2:15Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 2:15Speaker 3: Yeah, thanks, Yeah, what to do? We're going to name
- 2:19Speaker 3: it backbone. I hey, Moge, what's coming up on today's show?
- 2:21Speaker 5: By the way, Stoo Doo show with Old Mogi.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Another two opportunities for you and a mate to get flights,
- 2:32Speaker 3: accommodation tickets to be a vana and this is huge,
- 2:35Speaker 3: Actually two opportunities we're going to run today the fielding,
- 2:38Speaker 3: So stay tuned for the que to call. Give us
- 2:40Speaker 3: a bell. I know eight hundred haraki and it could
- 2:42Speaker 3: be you. We've got an update on our shipbox pigeon
- 2:46Speaker 3: Keezy on all wings looking over his beak with me.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Kezy came almost one hundred out of one hundred and
- 2:51Speaker 3: fifteen in the last race. We're going to find out
- 2:53Speaker 3: today how we did over the weekend over a longer distance. Yeah,
- 2:57Speaker 3: I've not you know, the last race was one hundred
- 2:59Speaker 3: and fifty. I'm not sure that you speed up over
- 3:03Speaker 3: two hundred and fifty k's, you know what I mean?
- 3:06Speaker 3: By one hundred and fifty k's you've probably reached top speed.
- 3:10Speaker 4: Our best beard is that he's in it for the
- 3:11Speaker 4: long game. Yeah, he's an endurance pitcher.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Yeah, endurance pitch he's more no fairer than he is
- 3:16Speaker 1: Usain Bolts.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, right, And next up we're going to talk
- 3:20Speaker 3: about our big date Caezy. It was a it was
- 3:24Speaker 3: a hell of a night, hell of a shindig they
- 3:25Speaker 3: put on out there.
- 3:27Speaker 1: We're on the tables, we're wearing tuxedos quite close to
- 3:30Speaker 1: the very close to that, and we were sitting with
- 3:35Speaker 1: some big wigs as well, and that certainly caught me
- 3:38Speaker 1: off guard, Yeah, because I'd had a few beforehand. But
- 3:41Speaker 1: in the meantime, a real contender for the Greatest of
- 3:44Speaker 1: All Time Countdown, which kicks off next week. It is
- 3:46Speaker 1: Pearl jam Alive on the Huducky Big Show.
- 3:49Speaker 2: The Hierarchy Big Show week days from four on radio.
- 3:53Speaker 3: It is mus Hysteria on The Hiducky Big Show.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Man of the tenth of August, got Kezy Pugs and
- 3:57Speaker 1: Mogi Old Hoodie Jays on holiday. She'll be back together
- 4:01Speaker 1: on Monday, which is bloody exciting.
- 4:03Speaker 6: Mogi.
- 4:03Speaker 3: I was excited.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Saturday, we were invited to the David Nuka fight was
- 4:08Speaker 1: happening on the north Shore. North Shore Events Center was
- 4:11Speaker 1: broadcast live on TV and z However, midweek, Mogi and
- 4:15Speaker 1: I were asked if we wanted to sit at the
- 4:16Speaker 1: TV and z in table, which on one condition, yeah,
- 4:21Speaker 1: they were happy with that too. They were pretty damn
- 4:23Speaker 1: happy with that. We had to wear tuxedos. But you
- 4:26Speaker 1: get there, there's a lot of you know, mingling and schmoozing,
- 4:28Speaker 1: and there's free beers, there's free wine, free food.
- 4:31Speaker 3: It's excellent. It was.
- 4:32Speaker 1: It's something that I'll never be able to pay for myself.
- 4:35Speaker 1: But if you get the invite, you get stuck in.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I didn't realize. I assumed we'd be at a table
- 4:40Speaker 1: where other media people, you know, people from ZIM and
- 4:44Speaker 1: the Hits and you know this and that, and they
- 4:47Speaker 1: would be all sitting at the same table with that.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Like I've been to the boxing before and I was
- 4:49Speaker 1: sitting with the guy from Target. I was sitting with
- 4:52Speaker 1: Leah Parnapa who used to be Rock. I was sitting
- 4:55Speaker 1: with all this, and so I was like to be that.
- 4:57Speaker 1: And so beforehand, I spent about three hours at the
- 4:59Speaker 1: part up the road getting a little glow on yes,
- 5:02Speaker 1: and then I arrived and it was executives, top level,
- 5:04Speaker 1: big dogs.
- 5:06Speaker 3: It was. It was. It was all of the top brass. Yeah,
- 5:10Speaker 3: all of the top brass. I had three tables and
- 5:12Speaker 3: were all sort of jammed together, so if you're at one,
- 5:14Speaker 3: you're at you're at all of them.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Yeah. And like so when I was standing up to
- 5:17Speaker 1: go wis, which was quite often, I was like back
- 5:20Speaker 1: in my chair into essentially the CEO Universal and it
- 5:23Speaker 1: was just and I arrived and I wasn't expecting that,
- 5:26Speaker 1: and I was quite worried that I'd had a few
- 5:28Speaker 1: too many.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Place to make an impression.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Well, yeah, it depends what the impression is, but one
- 5:33Speaker 3: way or the other, you're going to make it. The
- 5:35Speaker 3: first impression Keezy made was to be lately see quite
- 5:39Speaker 3: clearly on the seedd by six thirty keys rolls in
- 5:43Speaker 3: quarter past seven were.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Ages away down the road.
- 5:47Speaker 3: It's five minutes away, five minutes away. So I'm messaging
- 5:50Speaker 3: them saying where are you many because I'm not entirely
- 5:52Speaker 3: sure that I'm at the right table. And then and
- 5:54Speaker 3: then he's like, oh, yeah, I'm about five minutes away,
- 5:57Speaker 3: another half an hour. Its f really.
- 6:00Speaker 1: The uber to get there from the bar cost me
- 6:01Speaker 1: seven dollars. I probably should have worn an uber there,
- 6:05Speaker 1: but you know, it's.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Like, oh, be there at six City. It's like, yeah,
- 6:07Speaker 3: but no one's going to be there at six City. Yeah,
- 6:09Speaker 3: well you know I was your host? Was there? The
- 6:12Speaker 3: person who invite us was there? Where's Kezy? I wish
- 6:14Speaker 3: I could tell you. Yeah, I'd love to cover for him,
- 6:17Speaker 3: but I'm not going.
- 6:18Speaker 4: To the lair attitude.
- 6:20Speaker 3: And the other side of it, of course, was you
- 6:22Speaker 3: turn up eyes absolutely lolling back on you here. I
- 6:25Speaker 3: don't know about that. I don't remember the big that
- 6:27Speaker 3: bad and wearing the most crinkled shirt.
- 6:31Speaker 4: No said my life, you were onto people with crinkled shirts.
- 6:35Speaker 4: I remember one time I had a white shirt and
- 6:37Speaker 4: I think it was maybe before Radio Woods or something,
- 6:39Speaker 4: some hodaky event and Moggie was on my ass about
- 6:43Speaker 4: ironing my ship.
- 6:43Speaker 3: But that was terrible, like mine wasn't pug Well, the
- 6:46Speaker 3: vast majority of yours was covered up by your beautiful
- 6:49Speaker 3: backers Taxedo jet. It was brand, but it was. And
- 6:53Speaker 3: somebody made a comment dexture and the photo of us
- 6:55Speaker 3: on the Instagram page was that that old steam Keyzy
- 6:59Speaker 3: needs to do some steaming of his crinckly ship. Wasn't
- 7:02Speaker 3: that bad?
- 7:03Speaker 1: I will be I will be honest like I was
- 7:05Speaker 1: going to rush out the door to get here, and
- 7:06Speaker 1: I was getting changed and I was like, crap, I
- 7:08Speaker 1: don't have a white shirt. So I just grabbed mine
- 7:09Speaker 1: out of the cupboard, threw it in the dryer for
- 7:11Speaker 1: five minutes, pulled it out. I was like, cool, looks
- 7:14Speaker 1: exactly the same before, and then put it on again.
- 7:16Speaker 1: So the thing, the thing I'm worried about Mogie is,
- 7:20Speaker 1: as I said, I arrived didn't really realize who I
- 7:22Speaker 1: was sitting with and trying to make sure I didn't
- 7:24Speaker 1: make a bad impression, like.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Well, I mean you had a few from my from
- 7:28Speaker 3: my side. I drove there so I didn't drink, which
- 7:31Speaker 3: was I felt magnificent about yesterday and again today. I
- 7:35Speaker 3: know Kezy was hung over yesterday and he's not much
- 7:37Speaker 3: better today, So yeah, I mean there was a few
- 7:40Speaker 3: different things going on. I mean. The thing about is
- 7:42Speaker 3: I want Kezy to be Keasy. I don't want people
- 7:45Speaker 3: to think you're not what you know, to give a
- 7:48Speaker 3: false impression of who you are, which is steam Kesy,
- 7:50Speaker 3: Midnight Steamer Keasy. These are the things that make you
- 7:54Speaker 3: who you are, and I'm not going to get in
- 7:57Speaker 3: the way of that. So I certainly wasn't going to
- 7:58Speaker 3: talk you off for Claire, for tell you to settle down,
- 8:00Speaker 3: or pull your head in, or you should be a
- 8:02Speaker 3: shamed of yourself, or let's get a taxi earlier, any
- 8:05Speaker 3: of that sort of stuff. To me, it's the sort
- 8:07Speaker 3: of thing you'll learn on your own then, I believe, actually,
- 8:13Speaker 3: because normally what you do is you came it and
- 8:14Speaker 3: you act like you've done nothing wrong. I got a
- 8:16Speaker 3: bit of audio from the event. What bit of old
- 8:20Speaker 3: old keys again a bit too much into the turn
- 8:24Speaker 3: around a couple of times and you're filming me. That's right,
- 8:26Speaker 3: you would have seen that audio as well.
- 8:29Speaker 4: Send that to me, mate, A lot of them we'll
- 8:31Speaker 4: get in the next Is this the Stereophonics?
- 8:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:37Speaker 2: The Hurdiarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keysy tune
- 8:41Speaker 2: in week days and four on Radio hodac.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Cole Celebrity Skin on the Hurdarchy Big Show for twenty
- 8:46Speaker 1: six this Monday afternoon.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Hoidy j back on Monday.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Also on Monday, the Greatest of All Time Countdown is returning.
- 8:53Speaker 1: It is one thousand of the best tunes as voted
- 8:55Speaker 1: by you. If you'd like to have your say and vote,
- 8:58Speaker 1: text the word go to three four eight, will hit
- 9:00Speaker 1: you with a link. Follow the link, give us your
- 9:02Speaker 1: three favorites and then boom Monday morning, ninet and.
- 9:05Speaker 4: We rip in you if I do mine today. Fellas
- 9:07Speaker 4: Oh my goats.
- 9:08Speaker 3: God, I like how you've just sprung at us sign
- 9:11Speaker 3: here there pegs. I like you've done the man go.
- 9:16Speaker 4: Yeah, that awesome.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Absolutely, I'm looking forward to hearing them now. Over the
- 9:21Speaker 3: weekend we went to the David Nuka fight over on
- 9:24Speaker 3: the North Shore. Oh Kezy and I got ourselves juiced
- 9:27Speaker 3: up in our back is I've never actually I've never
- 9:29Speaker 3: worn a or owned a tuxedo, and I thought pretty sharp.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Yeah they are quite nicety, magnificent, not too bad. Well yeah,
- 9:40Speaker 3: the troublers Kezy was sort of only held in it
- 9:44Speaker 3: by the many buttons on the on the shirt and
- 9:46Speaker 3: on the jacket. There you had a few in your
- 9:49Speaker 3: keezy when you arrived, and then you had the here's
- 9:51Speaker 3: a telltale sign. Now this thing you had to be
- 9:53Speaker 3: there at six cedy Keyzy's like standy rolls in. What
- 9:57Speaker 3: does he pour himself a red wine? Yum yummy? Starting
- 10:02Speaker 3: on the reds now That tells me he's got a
- 10:04Speaker 3: few hours up of sleep. Right, he's been at a
- 10:06Speaker 3: bar around a sports bar around the corner, dressed up
- 10:09Speaker 3: in a tuxedoly I walked into it.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I walked into the sports bar wearing a tuxedo. Every
- 10:15Speaker 1: single person there had a Wars jersey on or like
- 10:17Speaker 1: a Northland jacket or something. So I went into the bathroom,
- 10:20Speaker 1: took the bow tie and the jacket off, the jacket
- 10:22Speaker 1: off the seat there, and just tried to look like
- 10:24Speaker 1: a regular old crumpled up. Yeah, that was still pretty crumpled.
- 10:28Speaker 1: But I'll tell you what, Like everyone I was with
- 10:31Speaker 1: it either in the Pokey's or you know, doing this
- 10:33Speaker 1: and doing that.
- 10:33Speaker 3: And I'm bring a tuxedo. Yeah, man, you feel like
- 10:35Speaker 3: a right nob shup, Well this will make you feel bad.
- 10:38Speaker 3: We've got some audio of you, you know, enjoying yourself,
- 10:42Speaker 3: shall we say, during the NUCA fight itself by facing
- 10:53Speaker 3: the way man go diven scared he can wasteed Ki,
- 11:12Speaker 3: Why you say my name not a keez grad keejee
- 11:25Speaker 3: bye ha Ok? Do you want to bear? Do you
- 11:30Speaker 3: want a beer? I'm not drinking what It's actually way
- 11:36Speaker 3: better than I was anticipating. It's not bad.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Seriously, I will Honestly, when I arrived and saw he
- 11:42Speaker 1: was at the table, I would liken it to a
- 11:46Speaker 1: guy taking a cisner out for a flight and he's
- 11:49Speaker 1: been having a lot of fun and he's bringing it
- 11:50Speaker 1: in and then he gets to the runway and finds
- 11:51Speaker 1: out it's not actually a runway, it's like a helicopter pad.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Yes, that was what I felt like. Another way to
- 11:56Speaker 3: put it as if you're absolutely hammered drunk and then
- 11:59Speaker 3: all of a sudden there's a massive emergency, you know,
- 12:03Speaker 3: like a forkliff tips on your best mate, and all
- 12:07Speaker 3: of a sudden you've got to be the one that
- 12:08Speaker 3: deals with that. And you know, people say they're sober
- 12:10Speaker 3: up immediately. That's what happened to you. It was like
- 12:12Speaker 3: you sobered up immediately, but you're still hammered. Yeah, is
- 12:15Speaker 3: this your way of telling me that we're best mates?
- 12:18Speaker 2: The Huriching Big Show with Jas, Mike and Kezy tune
- 12:21Speaker 2: in week days a four on Radio Hodache.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Green Day on The Hidickey Big Show four thirty eight
- 12:26Speaker 1: This Monday afternoon, you got Kezy, Mogi and pugsn and
- 12:30Speaker 1: Mike Minogue. Friday Night, one of the all time great
- 12:32Speaker 1: Warriors victories they took on the Panthers, the top of
- 12:35Speaker 1: the table, best team in the last eight or so
- 12:37Speaker 1: years in the NRL, Panthers, And not only did we
- 12:41Speaker 1: do the Huckers, the Warriors hucker for the first time,
- 12:45Speaker 1: we came out there and absolutely dominated them from start
- 12:47Speaker 1: to finish. So of course we can't go on without
- 12:50Speaker 1: bringing former Warrior, NRL legend and Portoloo maestro Charlie Gabbin
- 12:56Speaker 1: to the show. Charlie, how are you going this Monday?
- 12:59Speaker 6: Man, I've had a great Monday.
- 13:01Speaker 7: I'm still kind of like I'm not a drug taker,
- 13:04Speaker 7: but it feels like I've taken drugs over the weekend.
- 13:06Speaker 6: Right that.
- 13:10Speaker 7: That was probably the best regular season game I think
- 13:13Speaker 7: in Warrior's history, you know, the build up to it,
- 13:16Speaker 7: the sold out crowd vers Penrif the Harker at the start,
- 13:19Speaker 7: I think, you know, the whole country would have had
- 13:21Speaker 7: a half mongrel.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Yeah, one hundred percent, Charlie, one hundred percent. And the
- 13:25Speaker 1: thing is, man Like, going into this game as a
- 13:26Speaker 1: cynical Wise fan, I was like, oh God, you know,
- 13:29Speaker 1: hopefully we put up a decent fight, you know against Panthers.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Hopefully you know, we can maybe Eke out a win
- 13:34Speaker 1: or at least not lose too badly. But I didn't
- 13:37Speaker 1: even think of the fact that we could come out
- 13:39Speaker 1: and absolutely put them to the sword. And also with
- 13:43Speaker 1: a new halves period with Luke metcalf back in the
- 13:45Speaker 1: halves for the first time in ages.
- 13:48Speaker 7: Yeah, for me, if you roll the tapes back, I
- 13:51Speaker 7: was very confident that we were going to dominate. But
- 13:53Speaker 7: then with so Mighty Martin out and Luke Metcalfe coming
- 13:57Speaker 7: back in, it's just like a massive spanner in the workspace.
- 14:00Speaker 3: He just fit right in.
- 14:01Speaker 7: The four pack went forward to Aaron Clark for Shahara
- 14:04Speaker 7: started the game and really got it over the opposition
- 14:07Speaker 7: and it was kind of a demolition job for sixty
- 14:09Speaker 7: five minutes. It's a bit of a selection headache now
- 14:12Speaker 7: whether you go to Mighty Martin or metcalf But I
- 14:16Speaker 7: don't know, Webster kind of you know, if you're playing well,
- 14:20Speaker 7: you keep your spot, you know, yeah, talk pick. He
- 14:23Speaker 7: kept his spot over Chance for a while, and a
- 14:25Speaker 7: Chance came back and played well, So he's got a spot.
- 14:28Speaker 7: So maybe it is metcalt spot.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Now, yeah, I think so. I think you've got to
- 14:32Speaker 3: leave him the because it's going to be to mighty
- 14:35Speaker 3: coming back from injury, could be as long as four weeks.
- 14:38Speaker 3: You know, I invite him over for dinner. Probably not,
- 14:40Speaker 3: but look he was, he was. He was pretty bloody good.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Just ask him. He thought he had a blinder. But
- 14:49Speaker 3: someone who I really enjoyed was a look the whole team,
- 14:53Speaker 3: but Lecqua at center, Yeah, amazing A gubby he is, he.
- 14:59Speaker 7: Is, he's You know, normally you're looking at those players
- 15:02Speaker 7: from other teams with the trail much and stuff like that,
- 15:05Speaker 7: and you're thinking, man, why can't Worries get.
- 15:06Speaker 6: One of these guys.
- 15:07Speaker 7: But We've got a few of them now, and I
- 15:09Speaker 7: think Lika is going to be a generational player and
- 15:12Speaker 7: hopefully we can keep them long term. But at the
- 15:14Speaker 7: end of the day, we just want to win a
- 15:15Speaker 7: Grand Final with them.
- 15:16Speaker 3: One hundred percent. And that was That was one of
- 15:18Speaker 3: those classic games where you like I was on my
- 15:22Speaker 3: feet just screaming at the TV. Just a classic barnstorming
- 15:28Speaker 3: Warriors game where you you just feel every sort of
- 15:32Speaker 3: every step, every play, every pass, every tackle bust. Look,
- 15:37Speaker 3: it's hard not to hope. I've got to say when
- 15:39Speaker 3: it comes to Grand Finals, and I've already got my tickets, Charlie,
- 15:42Speaker 3: you got yours.
- 15:44Speaker 6: I haven't yet.
- 15:44Speaker 7: I'm hoping, hoping I do a few cashes before then.
- 15:48Speaker 7: You know, if anyone's listening and they and they want anything,
- 15:52Speaker 7: you know, a poopeck or something just picked up and
- 15:55Speaker 7: all do that for cash. But I think out of
- 15:57Speaker 7: all the years, you know, we could be there. It's
- 15:59Speaker 7: a very open comp and there's no reason it can't
- 16:02Speaker 7: be ours. But you got to win, you know, you
- 16:05Speaker 7: got to win three tough games in a row at
- 16:06Speaker 7: that final.
- 16:07Speaker 1: And that's the thing, Charlie, with these Warriors, you know,
- 16:10Speaker 1: when they played teams like the Dragons at the bottom
- 16:12Speaker 1: of the table, we do seem to drop down a
- 16:14Speaker 1: wee bit, but then we really do step up for
- 16:16Speaker 1: those top of the table games. Like earlier in the
- 16:18Speaker 1: season we took on the Melbourne Storm and we absolutely
- 16:20Speaker 1: dominated them as well. And at the end of the day,
- 16:23Speaker 1: as long as we keep winning heading into the finals,
- 16:25Speaker 1: and then we managed to step up again against these
- 16:28Speaker 1: top teams, like for the first time in a long time,
- 16:31Speaker 1: I am actually getting a bit fizzed up, you know
- 16:33Speaker 1: what I mean. I am saying to think positively about
- 16:35Speaker 1: the end of the season.
- 16:37Speaker 7: I think so too, Like remember the worries of a
- 16:40Speaker 7: few years ago or even forever. Definitely when I was playing,
- 16:43Speaker 7: you don't know what you're going to get.
- 16:46Speaker 6: Now you know like.
- 16:47Speaker 7: You're going to put in a solid performance. Yes, we
- 16:50Speaker 7: got our pants pulled down by the Bulldogs, but they
- 16:52Speaker 7: were just completely on.
- 16:53Speaker 6: And it was a great wake up call for us.
- 16:55Speaker 7: Yeah, but I think our leadership is so strong now
- 16:58Speaker 7: of Barnett, Fisher, Harris Chance at the back, you could yeah,
- 17:04Speaker 7: well they're just like they get up. So I think
- 17:07Speaker 7: you can confidently go into a game saying, hey, if
- 17:10Speaker 7: this is a big game, we're going to get up,
- 17:12Speaker 7: whereas the opposition is probably thinking, damn, I don't know
- 17:15Speaker 7: how we're going to goainst this Warriors Ford Pack. So
- 17:17Speaker 7: it's a good position to be as a fan.
- 17:19Speaker 3: One hundred percent, Charlie.
- 17:20Speaker 1: And before we let you go, mate, as per, who
- 17:23Speaker 1: was your player of the round?
- 17:24Speaker 3: Brought to you by Porter.
- 17:25Speaker 7: King, I'm giving it to Luke Metcalf. He was sensational.
- 17:29Speaker 7: He's he ain't getting a bottle of scrumpy or a
- 17:31Speaker 7: bottle of nitro, but I'll have that.
- 17:34Speaker 6: But he definitely got the award.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Yeah, he did play well, he did play, and my
- 17:37Speaker 1: thing with him is and Mogi's right, like, I just
- 17:39Speaker 1: don't I don't know. There's something about him that does
- 17:42Speaker 1: rub me up a little bit the wrong way.
- 17:44Speaker 3: But he won that game for you know, he sealed
- 17:46Speaker 3: the deal. And something we've been looking at as well,
- 17:48Speaker 3: Charlie was kick meeters and they're saying, no, he doesn't
- 17:51Speaker 3: kick much further than you know, the guys that we've had,
- 17:54Speaker 3: which is to mighty and no not seeing k C
- 17:59Speaker 3: H two c HT. But what he does have is
- 18:03Speaker 3: huge hang time on his kicks compared to the other guys.
- 18:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:07Speaker 6: Yeah, you got big hand time to Mogi.
- 18:09Speaker 3: I appreciate that coming from you, man.
- 18:11Speaker 7: I think, man, when the fourds are going forward, it
- 18:14Speaker 7: all works out.
- 18:15Speaker 1: You Moggie metcalf over there. Thank you so much. Charlie,
- 18:21Speaker 1: god mate, we'll talk to you next week.
- 18:22Speaker 6: Let's go. Let's have a great week.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Guy, don't forget if you're in Wellington you need a
- 18:26Speaker 1: portolo head up porter King.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Uncle Charlie will see you, are right.
- 18:30Speaker 2: The Hurarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Housie Boys on The Hicky Big Show nine minutes to
- 18:36Speaker 1: five This Monday, evening, Let's talk TV.
- 18:41Speaker 4: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Yeah, last night Feelers, I watched Ellie Kits, which is
- 18:55Speaker 3: a new show from Ricky Gervaise of the Office and
- 18:58Speaker 3: Extras fame. He's done an animated series about a bunch
- 19:02Speaker 3: of stray cats and that sort of sit around. They
- 19:06Speaker 3: talk to each other, as are the pugs. That's what's
- 19:08Speaker 3: weird about it. Not like normal cats. Well I guess
- 19:13Speaker 3: maybe normal cats do. But this is an English and
- 19:16Speaker 3: it is unbelievably it's an R sixteen because it should
- 19:19Speaker 3: be an R eighteen. Wow, it is if and see this,
- 19:24Speaker 3: if and see that, absolutely NonStop and you know, when
- 19:28Speaker 3: there's a lot of swearing. I was sort of trying
- 19:31Speaker 3: a bit hard to be funny by just having a
- 19:32Speaker 3: lot of swearing, but it's then it goes through that
- 19:34Speaker 3: and it gets to the other side where it's happening
- 19:36Speaker 3: so much that it actually becomes funny again. Some absolutely
- 19:40Speaker 3: just completely poor taste to rend. Is it clever? No?
- 19:46Speaker 3: Is it clever? But you know what I mean.
- 19:48Speaker 1: You can be vulgar and you can be low hanging
- 19:50Speaker 1: fruit and swearing, but as long as it's kind of clever, yeah.
- 19:52Speaker 3: It's Ricky Gervais, so there's different, there's some golden there.
- 19:55Speaker 3: I think there's stuff that really it's like splutter laughing,
- 19:57Speaker 3: you cannot believe, right, you've just heard, And there's some
- 20:02Speaker 3: absolutely appalling content on there. And and we watch I
- 20:06Speaker 3: think six episodes. I watched five out of the six.
- 20:09Speaker 3: We watched five out of the six. My wife and
- 20:11Speaker 3: I was sixteen minutes each. My wife was cracking up.
- 20:14Speaker 3: But because it's shocking. But I definitely recommend it, and
- 20:17Speaker 3: I do want you guys to watch it and get
- 20:19Speaker 3: your reports back on it tomorrow because I think I
- 20:22Speaker 3: think Bags is going to be hard.
- 20:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm skeptical about it because for me, like I
- 20:28Speaker 4: love Ricky Gervais, his older work, his Golden Globe stuff.
- 20:32Speaker 4: I loved After Life. But I do feel like more
- 20:35Speaker 4: and more over the last recent years, as Emma has
- 20:37Speaker 4: just become how can I offend people without being clever
- 20:41Speaker 4: about it? You know?
- 20:42Speaker 3: That's right? This one does have heart in it, but
- 20:44Speaker 3: not an annoying amount of heart like After Life, and
- 20:46Speaker 3: like what was the other one? I think he did
- 20:48Speaker 3: one called Derrett where he's really trying to bash you
- 20:50Speaker 3: over their head and excuse all the horrible stuff he
- 20:53Speaker 3: does as a bit of it, it's sort of it's
- 20:54Speaker 3: a lot better than some of the other stuff recently
- 20:58Speaker 3: which has annoyed me. Certainly worth it crack you.
- 21:00Speaker 6: To give it a go.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Look, four buzzies out of a possible fighter is a
- 21:05Speaker 3: bit much, Okay, but it made me laugh and I
- 21:10Speaker 3: was pretty tired. So that's that's pretty good. That's on Netflix,
- 21:13Speaker 3: Alley Cats. Ricky gives all right, Pugs, how good? Mate?
- 21:16Speaker 4: I ripped through an entire limited series yesterday on the.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Couch that's hungover right there. That's what that is.
- 21:23Speaker 4: Boy, and I watched on Netflix a show called Legends,
- 21:27Speaker 4: which I had never heard of.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well with reviewed on the show, but have
- 21:32Speaker 3: we Yeah? I watched What did You Reckon? I thought
- 21:37Speaker 3: that it had very good actors in it, but it
- 21:39Speaker 3: didn't connect and some of some of the blocking, which
- 21:42Speaker 3: is how you set a camera and you play a scene,
- 21:44Speaker 3: was absolutely appalling. Who is a good actor in it?
- 21:48Speaker 3: Steve Coogan? Yeah, Steve Coogan. There's some stuff where their
- 21:52Speaker 3: agents and they're following people, and the way that they're
- 21:55Speaker 3: following people is sitting in the car right next to
- 21:58Speaker 3: drug dealers and looking at and looking in the rearview mirror.
- 22:02Speaker 3: It was. It was sloppy, it was classic Netflix garbage.
- 22:07Speaker 4: I quite enjoyed it.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Yes, No, I mean it's it's it's the nature of art.
- 22:16Speaker 4: I think, like my problem with it was Steve Coogan
- 22:19Speaker 4: was the humorous aspect for a lot of it, as
- 22:23Speaker 4: is Steve Coogan, right, he's famously prig and all that jazz.
- 22:27Speaker 4: But I felt it straight the tone kind of got.
- 22:31Speaker 4: They saved a lot of the funnier stuff for when
- 22:33Speaker 4: it was the most serious and when the stakes were
- 22:35Speaker 4: the highest, which I thought was a bit strange. I
- 22:39Speaker 4: really I thought Tom Burke was pretty unreal in that
- 22:41Speaker 4: because you know, he's this guy. Essentially it's about some
- 22:44Speaker 4: of the first undercover agents in Britain going against the
- 22:48Speaker 4: drug the heroine coming into the country. And I would
- 22:53Speaker 4: give it a solid three point eight because.
- 22:55Speaker 3: He's out of what's the whole thing?
- 22:58Speaker 4: I think there's like a good seven or eight six
- 23:02Speaker 4: six something like that.
- 23:04Speaker 3: A person.
- 23:05Speaker 4: It just bleased together after a while. Man, you know
- 23:07Speaker 4: how ninety ron tomatoes, Yeah, they don't know. Watch the
- 23:10Speaker 4: talking about Friday.
- 23:15Speaker 2: The Hurdichy Big Show with Jason Mike and Keyzy tune
- 23:18Speaker 2: in week days at four on Radio Hodache.
- 23:21Speaker 1: That's right, it is the Hudarcky Big Show for Monday,
- 23:23Speaker 1: the tenth of August, three minutes past five. You've got Kezy,
- 23:25Speaker 1: Moggi and pugsn and of course the Big Show brought
- 23:28Speaker 1: to you by Reburger.
- 23:32Speaker 4: Handcrafted, big Gears, loaded fries and Gorme each that will
- 23:36Speaker 4: change the game.
- 23:38Speaker 3: M Moggie. Howdy Jay is on holiday this week.
- 23:41Speaker 1: He sent a video of him on holiday and it
- 23:44Speaker 1: was him in a Hoducky jacket and a boy's trip hat. Yeah,
- 23:48Speaker 1: dancing to Engelbert in his own lounge.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Yeah it looked like didn't it. It looks like fun. Ay,
- 23:52Speaker 3: it's a good one to have a week off. He's
- 23:54Speaker 3: loving it is the week off us is is holiday
- 23:58Speaker 3: and half apparently.
- 23:59Speaker 4: Can I just say this is the most reels I've
- 24:02Speaker 4: ever had from him, really since he's been on holiday.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Right, and I don't know what them same here? Yeah, yeah,
- 24:10Speaker 3: I don't get any it's because of your taste.
- 24:14Speaker 4: Your taste and reels is like he doesn't want to
- 24:16Speaker 4: get one back.
- 24:17Speaker 8: No exactly, that's probably true where he's just you know
- 24:20Speaker 8: what I'm going to do.
- 24:21Speaker 3: I'm going to start sending them monkey buzzy reel.
- 24:24Speaker 1: That's why until until he starts seeing me is this
- 24:30Speaker 1: nerdy guy in cosplay, which is like when you dress
- 24:33Speaker 1: up as a video game character. He keeps sending the
- 24:35Speaker 1: same guy to me because he thinks that's what being
- 24:38Speaker 1: into video games is.
- 24:39Speaker 3: Yeah, he started seeing me the same guy.
- 24:41Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:41Speaker 4: The other one that he sends me is a guy
- 24:43Speaker 4: that's like a fantasy writer and there's like and growing
- 24:46Speaker 4: his fantasy online community.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Yes, that's right, that's what he thinks. It's you guys.
- 24:51Speaker 4: To be fair to him, I keep sending him industrial
- 24:53Speaker 4: equipment supply companies, so.
- 24:56Speaker 3: It's such good stuff.
- 24:57Speaker 1: But knowing that he's in fully attire, just in a
- 24:59Speaker 1: sc roll hole on his own couch, man, he's going
- 25:02Speaker 1: to be so great when he comes back next, of course, tomorrow, Maggie,
- 25:04Speaker 1: you're on holiday.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Are you going down south going to Queenstown? Ye're looking
- 25:07Speaker 3: forward bloody rippertop with me though a little bit.
- 25:11Speaker 6: Of a little bit.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I wouldn't want to just enjoy yourself.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Coming up later this hour on The Hurducky Big Show,
- 25:17Speaker 1: got an update on my pigeon Fellers I had another race.
- 25:20Speaker 3: So you have met that it's your so now it's yours.
- 25:23Speaker 3: Now we're squared away. Unbelieva, we're squared away. It's your pigeon.
- 25:27Speaker 1: But Pugs it's right because he's paid one hundred bucks
- 25:32Speaker 1: to wed yours. But I had another race over the weekend.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Fellers'll give you an update on There also another chance
- 25:38Speaker 1: to get free tickets, free accommodation, free flights as well
- 25:41Speaker 1: down to Wellington for Beer Varn at the Beer Festival.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Listen out for the cutter call. It's going to be
- 25:45Speaker 1: happening at some stage soon. Get rid of one hundred Hodarky.
- 25:48Speaker 1: In the meantime, Food Fighters.
- 25:50Speaker 2: The Hiking Big Show with Jason, Mike and Key tune
- 25:53Speaker 2: in week days a four on Radio.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Hodache Supergrass on The Hiducky Big Show forteen minutes past
- 25:58Speaker 1: five this Monday afternoon with Keezy and pugsn and Fellers.
- 26:02Speaker 3: I've got an update on the Big Show. Pigeon gec
- 26:05Speaker 3: On Wings and looking O for his Beak's Big God.
- 26:12Speaker 1: I hate their name so much about this heap the
- 26:16Speaker 1: sting rules. It's funny because people that don't listen to
- 26:19Speaker 1: the show go, oh, you've got a pigeon.
- 26:20Speaker 3: What's its name?
- 26:21Speaker 1: Yeah, and then I have to go, oh, it's it's
- 26:24Speaker 1: it's an in joke on the show that oh cool,
- 26:26Speaker 1: but what's its name? And then you're oh, keezy on
- 26:27Speaker 1: all wings looking over its beak with me keysy, and
- 26:29Speaker 1: they're like oh.
- 26:30Speaker 4: And they have a rapturous round of a floor.
- 26:32Speaker 3: They no.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Twice now they've been like that's a bad name. Yeah,
- 26:37Speaker 1: it's a bad name for a bad pigeon. Yeah.
- 26:40Speaker 3: It had two races fellers At raced over the weekend.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Of course.
- 26:44Speaker 1: It's first race couple of weeks ago was one hundred
- 26:46Speaker 1: and fifty kilometers ash Burton to its home in Uamadu,
- 26:51Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty k's one hundred and fifteen birds.
- 26:53Speaker 3: It came ninety third was it ninety third in the end?
- 26:56Speaker 3: Was it okay? Yeah? Yeah, ninety third, which is obviously
- 26:59Speaker 3: back of the power. They're not good.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Over the weekend had another racist time, christ Church to
- 27:06Speaker 1: two hundred and twenty k.
- 27:07Speaker 3: So it's further. This time it came seventy third.
- 27:11Speaker 4: Are you serious?
- 27:12Speaker 3: Seventy third? Yeah. See this is the thing. PAGs is
- 27:15Speaker 3: going to get your hopes up out of a field
- 27:17Speaker 3: of how many same amount huning for fine that died. No,
- 27:21Speaker 3: I don't think you assume. No, do we get a time?
- 27:27Speaker 3: How long? What I would like to know is how
- 27:28Speaker 3: long it took the winning bird? Yeah, and time how
- 27:32Speaker 3: long it took for Keyzy on all wings? Looking over
- 27:35Speaker 3: his beat with me, Kezy.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I'll ask I'll ask that for the next round, because
- 27:38Speaker 1: if it's like twenty seconds, that changes things. Yeah, I
- 27:44Speaker 1: have a feeling it isn't. Because and the worrying thing
- 27:47Speaker 1: is the race happens on the Saturday and they don't
- 27:48Speaker 1: give you the results until Sunday night. Yeah, So that
- 27:51Speaker 1: could either be because it takes a lot to sort
- 27:53Speaker 1: of tabulate the results or because they're still waiting for old.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Kezy to get home. That's right.
- 27:58Speaker 1: But what really annoys me is early doors. Do you
- 28:00Speaker 1: remember I came on and I said we've got bird
- 28:03Speaker 1: one oh nine.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Oh yes, I do, yeah, And then I.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Asked for a photo of the bird and pigeon. Tim
- 28:08Speaker 1: sent me a photo of a pigeon that clearly had
- 28:12Speaker 1: a little tag on its leg that said one oh seven,
- 28:14Speaker 1: and his caption was ain't she abut.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Pigeon one oh three? Yeah? And so it was super good.
- 28:19Speaker 3: I had no idea which pigeon I own.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Yes, it turns out the pigeon I own is one
- 28:23Speaker 1: O three, right, and pigeon one O nine, the one
- 28:26Speaker 1: I thought I owned, finished in the top ten.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Yeah ah yeah.
- 28:30Speaker 4: Yeah that's painful, man.
- 28:31Speaker 3: So it feels like there's some sort of pigeon conspiracy.
- 28:33Speaker 3: You need to talk to the stewards. You need to
- 28:36Speaker 3: talk to the stewards because there'll be stewards that sort
- 28:38Speaker 3: of oversee each race, make sure everything's been done according
- 28:43Speaker 3: to the book. So you might have to file a protest. Yeah,
- 28:46Speaker 3: I don't see why you wouldn't file a protest.
- 28:49Speaker 1: I don't know, because it seems like a bit full
- 28:50Speaker 1: on for the I'm going to Pigeon Racing Club.
- 28:53Speaker 3: To deal with. Yeah, I mean I would like to
- 28:55Speaker 3: know where it all went wrong. Yeah right, Well you
- 28:58Speaker 3: see what I'm saying, Who are own one O nine
- 29:00Speaker 3: as a pigeon tin? Well, I know it's called Whiskey Wings,
- 29:04Speaker 3: which is a way better name. I prefer it Whiskey Wings.
- 29:08Speaker 3: It doesn't even make sense.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Yeah, Whiskey Wings doesn't make sense. Yeah, because you could
- 29:13Speaker 1: get the lawyers involved, and.
- 29:15Speaker 3: So I don't think you need to bring in the
- 29:16Speaker 3: lawyers just yet, but you certainly want to have them,
- 29:19Speaker 3: you know, to threaten them, say they're hovering in the background.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Yeah right, okay, you know what I mean. But it
- 29:24Speaker 3: was weird, don't you because it was one oh nine. Yeah,
- 29:26Speaker 3: the photo came in one o seven, ain't she abute?
- 29:28Speaker 3: One oh three? What is going on? And then by
- 29:31Speaker 3: the way, one o three is finishing back of the
- 29:33Speaker 3: pack every time? Yeah, we need an inquiry. Yeah yeah.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I am starting to think though, do we cut our
- 29:38Speaker 1: losses at some point and just go like unless it's
- 29:40Speaker 1: like if it starts creeping up, because there's still six
- 29:42Speaker 1: more races.
- 29:43Speaker 3: You know that it's.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Gone up twenty places in one race. I'm I'm thrilled,
- 29:48Speaker 4: you're confident.
- 29:49Speaker 1: I'm excited our losses, my losses, thank you and mine.
- 29:57Speaker 1: I will give you an update on the next race, Fellas,
- 30:00Speaker 1: it's in a couple of weeks.
- 30:01Speaker 3: Yeah, boy, Allison Chains get it.
- 30:05Speaker 2: And yet the Hdichy Big Show with Jason, Mike and
- 30:08Speaker 2: Kyzy tune in four on.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Radio Lucky you can't get me. Buddy of Beer is
- 30:13Speaker 3: a big show. Beavana support brew crew content having a
- 30:19Speaker 3: beer h pretty good. Prize Magie Flights commodation, you take me,
- 30:23Speaker 3: don't you, man, And as a hell of a weekend
- 30:26Speaker 3: as well down there at bea Vanam. They've had some
- 30:29Speaker 3: great weather down there too, so it's good to get
- 30:31Speaker 3: down there. Pogson, your hometown. I've spent twenty years there myself.
- 30:35Speaker 3: It'll be a bloody repper and of course you can
- 30:37Speaker 3: come along. It's not just flights and tickets and all
- 30:39Speaker 3: that carry and you get to come to the pre show,
- 30:41Speaker 3: big show on the evening of the Thursday. How good.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Yeah, that's happening at Bethel Woods. You will be part

- 32:35Speaker 3: don't hear the word nol too often, do you? Andrew

- 33:41Speaker 1: Voting closes Sunday nights, So if you would like to
- 33:44Speaker 1: have your say, tix the word Goat to three four
- 33:46Speaker 1: eight three will hit you with a link. You can
- 33:48Speaker 1: also head to Hodaki dot co dot inzid and vote there.
- 33:51Speaker 1: How it works though, as you get to lock in
- 33:52Speaker 1: three song nominations and those you know, the votes will
- 33:56Speaker 1: correspond and hopefully bump your favorite tunes up the list. Moggi,
- 33:59Speaker 1: last week we did your three Goat nominations, which were.
- 34:04Speaker 3: We did Prodigy, omen Breed from the Vana and green
- 34:10Speaker 3: Onions from Booking. That's right, thank you for putting me
- 34:13Speaker 3: on the spot with that.
- 34:14Speaker 6: That was good.
- 34:16Speaker 3: That was a hard reach. Mine was angle bit of
- 34:18Speaker 3: humpered ink Kwanto.
- 34:21Speaker 1: I can't remember what the other two were to be
- 34:23Speaker 1: our hero's David Bowie, yes, all timer and the third one.
- 34:27Speaker 3: Was something else and then had a few as well,
- 34:29Speaker 3: and had a few shiitter is there.
- 34:31Speaker 1: But the exciting thing is that Pugs has got the
- 34:33Speaker 1: best taste of music out of all of us.
- 34:35Speaker 3: Pugs and you've got your three nominations.
- 34:36Speaker 4: First of all Cross. That's very kind of you to say,
- 34:38Speaker 4: and a massive setup to disappoint everybody in the on
- 34:41Speaker 4: the line there.
- 34:41Speaker 3: But what do you think in keys before we get
- 34:43Speaker 3: ourselves through this a.
- 34:45Speaker 4: Few predictions you put out a few predictions before we
- 34:47Speaker 4: got on air.
- 34:48Speaker 1: I think that Pugs has got a very interesting taste
- 34:51Speaker 1: of music. He often says that things when he's had
- 34:53Speaker 1: a few like oh, this album is one of the
- 34:55Speaker 1: greatest alums ever made, and it's an artist I've never
- 34:56Speaker 1: heard of, And then you listen to it and it's
- 34:57Speaker 1: a kind of music I've never heard of.
- 34:59Speaker 3: Well, it's after three songs combined into one. There's multiple
- 35:02Speaker 3: beats going on.
- 35:03Speaker 1: My brain can't compute. There's no metronomeen sight for anybody listening.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Mogi's referring to when I played Geese. Chris is referring
- 35:08Speaker 1: to when I played MF Doom, Like.
- 35:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it just doesn't know. There's a lot of it.
- 35:13Speaker 4: Came over to my places that I was living alone,
- 35:14Speaker 4: and I put it. I was like, this is one
- 35:15Speaker 4: of the greatest albums ever. Man, have you heard it's
- 35:18Speaker 4: one of the worst things of your.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Yeah, great, Well you need that kind of honesty. But
- 35:21Speaker 3: you are a lover of music, Paks, and I like
- 35:23Speaker 3: that about you.
- 35:24Speaker 4: I do love my music.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Music is it just sounds. We're going to find favorite sounds,
- 35:29Speaker 3: you guys, just sounds of all time.
- 35:32Speaker 4: You guys are going to be blown away by these,
- 35:33Speaker 4: because two of them we've already heard from you guys.
- 35:35Speaker 3: I was gonna say one will be I know what
- 35:37Speaker 3: one is.
- 35:37Speaker 4: You know what one is?
- 35:39Speaker 3: One?
- 35:39Speaker 4: No, I'll go three to one, three to one one, Okay.
- 35:42Speaker 4: So the first one is from one I heard it
- 35:46Speaker 4: in one of my favorite films ever actually, which is
- 35:48Speaker 4: a film called About Time as a romance movie. The
- 35:51Speaker 4: common theme here is yearning and romance, evidently. But this
- 35:57Speaker 4: song is Nick cave into my arm to direct you,
- 36:01Speaker 4: same as Yeah into I don't feel the need to
- 36:09Speaker 4: get into a spiel as much as you got as
- 36:13Speaker 4: much as you guys covered it the other day. You
- 36:15Speaker 4: covered him really well, history in his life. But Yeah,
- 36:19Speaker 4: just a beautiful tune, and Yeah speaks to all the
- 36:22Speaker 4: lovers out there, doesn't feelers now. The number two on
- 36:26Speaker 4: my list is the one that is not shared with
- 36:28Speaker 4: anybody here, and this is from one of my favorite
- 36:31Speaker 4: albums of all time, and that is Jeff Buckley's lover
- 36:35Speaker 4: you should have come over all my wrenches. So song
- 36:45Speaker 4: against her.
- 36:48Speaker 3: I'm gonna heard that song the album. I've heard one
- 36:54Speaker 3: or two. I've heard Hallelujah. Treat yourself to the album. Man, great,
- 36:57Speaker 3: great ninety four.
- 36:59Speaker 4: Tragic story obviously with Jeff Buckley, he drowned in a river.
- 37:04Speaker 3: I believe it was the Mississippi.
- 37:07Speaker 4: Was that, yeah it was, and yeah he was fully closed.
- 37:10Speaker 1: So just quickly on Jeff Buckley. Because I'm not super
- 37:12Speaker 1: up to date. Ben Hurley once admitted that one of
- 37:15Speaker 1: his favorite albums on vinyl was Jeff Buckley, and then
- 37:17Speaker 1: we roasted him for Age. Really really, so I'm not
- 37:20Speaker 1: like I say, because I'm not a big listener.
- 37:22Speaker 3: But that's the main reason you wrote someone you like
- 37:25Speaker 3: that before in my life, my ignorance means I'm going
- 37:29Speaker 3: to pay you out. We did that. If you're any
- 37:32Speaker 3: kind of mate, you do that. We did that, and
- 37:34Speaker 3: for for Ages it was a running thing. Old Ben's
- 37:37Speaker 3: listened to Jeff Buckley. You know, I'm starting to figure
- 37:39Speaker 3: out that he was actually pretty good.
- 37:41Speaker 4: You should give it at home. Man, It's not super polished,
- 37:44Speaker 4: like his voice was never that. No one for being perfect.
- 37:47Speaker 4: Just the passion that he put in unbelievable. And there
- 37:50Speaker 4: is some hard tunes on there as well. I think
- 37:52Speaker 4: Eternal Grace is one of them. Yeah, it's a great tune,
- 37:56Speaker 4: maybe the greatest yearning song of all time.
- 37:58Speaker 3: What's up with you? And un normally does it?
- 38:04Speaker 8: Yes?
- 38:06Speaker 1: What's the difference between yearning and just being really desperate?
- 38:10Speaker 4: I don't know, just a question. Number one on my
- 38:15Speaker 4: goat list. You've heard it, it's one of yours. It
- 38:18Speaker 4: is David Bow's heroes.
- 38:24Speaker 3: Just for one day.
- 38:27Speaker 4: I think part of the reason I love this one
- 38:28Speaker 4: so much is I hate to research it. You remember
- 38:30Speaker 4: a while ago you got asked to come up with
- 38:32Speaker 4: a roadie playlist when I was going on a summer
- 38:34Speaker 4: road and I did a bit of research on the
- 38:36Speaker 4: churn and just the way it was made in the
- 38:37Speaker 4: story and the meaning behind it, about the two lovers
- 38:40Speaker 4: and Berlin at the wall there, and it.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Reminds me of yearning, a lot of yearning. Honestly, Pope's
- 38:47Speaker 1: better than I was expecting from you.
- 38:48Speaker 3: Thank you. Yeah.
- 38:49Speaker 4: I did try to put a hood Aku lens on it. Obviously,
- 38:53Speaker 4: I wasn't gonna slip an him in there.
- 38:55Speaker 3: Thanks man.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the greatest thing. Preciate three four eight three
- 39:01Speaker 1: text the word goat. Lock your three votes and we
- 39:03Speaker 1: rip it on Monday. In the meantime, faith no more.
- 39:06Speaker 1: On the Huducky Big Show.
- 39:09Speaker 2: The Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 39:12Speaker 2: in weekdays at four on Radio Hold act.

- 39:29Speaker 1: Big Show brought to you by Reburger.

- 39:48Speaker 1: go with Sunday lunchtime? Hung see it like it was

- 39:55Speaker 1: and so I was definitely the first person to be
- 39:57Speaker 1: eating at the store. I just met with it and
- 39:59Speaker 1: it sounds like I'm making it up. But regent Rid,
- 40:02Speaker 1: which is delicious.
- 40:03Speaker 4: Chi that's my favorite too.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Once I find what it is, I just get that
- 40:06Speaker 1: some chips and it's my hangover cure.

- 40:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I need the I need a Coca cola a bit.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Yeah, Cox there, We've got loads of the cans in

- 40:20Speaker 3: Okay?
- 40:20Speaker 4: So surried tofu uh not dissimilar. My partner found a
- 40:26Speaker 4: recipe online and she's been telling me a little bit
- 40:29Speaker 4: about it. And as she goes, oh, the risbe is
- 40:32Speaker 4: called if me lntls. Oh yeah, if you et cetera
- 40:36Speaker 4: me lntels. And I'm like, oh, I've seen those before,
- 40:38Speaker 4: these like trendy recipes and they call them that.
- 40:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm like, that's.
- 40:41Speaker 4: A pretty crazy, like that's at out the gate name
- 40:44Speaker 4: for Risbees. So she's been getting all the supplies for
- 40:46Speaker 4: that over the weekend and then today she sent me
- 40:47Speaker 4: a photo and I was like, it's she called marry
- 40:49Speaker 4: me lntels, not if mels marry me.
- 40:54Speaker 3: People have different priorities at different stages of the different stroke.
- 40:58Speaker 3: It's all good Derick and she is putting out those
- 41:00Speaker 3: vibes like do you reckon? It's like a feeler chick.

- 41:05Speaker 3: well for marry me? The other one, Oh, marry me.
