- 0:45Speaker 4: That's made me feel hung over here.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, Reallylanve you for that. Man, Well, I'd never
- 0:50Speaker 2: pickt making because you're looking as hot as mine. You're
- 0:53Speaker 2: wearing a hodaki what you call that swany? Yeah, it's
- 0:56Speaker 2: not that cold, man.
- 0:58Speaker 4: It was so mean. It's fine for you to say that, Jason,
- 1:00Speaker 4: because you've got that busy hugging Marino long sleeve top
- 1:05Speaker 4: with the hood on. Yeah, now that gives you an
- 1:07Speaker 4: unfair advantage for me to get that kind of warmth.
- 1:10Speaker 4: And I just noticed now in this light. Actually, I
- 1:12Speaker 4: can see one of your nipples extremely clearly kill everyone
- 1:16Speaker 4: well our left but his right, that one there, Yeah, Jesus,
- 1:20Speaker 4: it's one of the great nipples, one of the all
- 1:22Speaker 4: time great nipples.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Well, you know, even though it is Marino, I am
- 1:26Speaker 2: still feeling the cold and thus, yes, the protuberant nipple.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Do you can pound for pound the big show to
- 1:33Speaker 3: have the best nipples and radio.
- 1:35Speaker 4: I don't think other people's talk about the nipples as
- 1:38Speaker 4: much as we do, or as much as they should.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Actually we don't get I've got very small nipples, right, okay,
- 1:44Speaker 4: I've got nipples sort of about the same size as
- 1:46Speaker 4: a as a breastfeeding mother kitten cat.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Sorry, right, good stuff, whereas yours, jes yours are massive. Yeah.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Good to be here, fellas. Another Monday, beautiful day.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Wow, so it was a beautiful day this morning. She's
- 2:11Speaker 2: a bit sort of overcast and chilly.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Now, yeah, yeah we are, but we don't know what
- 2:14Speaker 3: it's like in the rest of the world.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Oh it's true.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Yeah, beautiful day somewhere, Jason, Yeah, true.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Man.
- 2:19Speaker 3: You're looking good, brother.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Thank you. Feeling good fellows, great weekend, really fizzing for
- 2:26Speaker 2: the show. A head. Speaking of which, Mogi, what is

- 2:58Speaker 4: over the weekend, including the very sad retirement of Cain Williamson.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yeah, man, what a surprise that was.
- 3:04Speaker 4: And UFC twot fifty which is happening today at the.
- 3:08Speaker 3: White House, and chouting to Charlie Garb as well about
- 3:11Speaker 3: the wast.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Yeah, the Gabinator. He'll be up this hour and next.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Keezy has got a bone to pick with the listeners.
- 3:19Speaker 3: With the hadarky audience, fellas, I'm not happy.
- 3:22Speaker 2: All right, I'm looking forward to this, Yes, how am
- 3:24Speaker 2: I mate? In the meantime, here's the Kaiser Chiefs.
- 3:28Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodarky's.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Indeed sound Garden There on the Radio Hodarky Big Show
- 3:36Speaker 2: this Monday afternoon. The time is fourteen minutes past four o'clock.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Fellas, I've got a bone to pick with the listeners.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I got a bone a bit with the listeners with
- 3:45Speaker 2: the Is that a new segment?
- 3:47Speaker 3: No, no, it's just the specific bone to pick is
- 3:50Speaker 3: with the Hdarcky listeners.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Yeah, because usually you've got a bone to pick with me.
- 3:53Speaker 3: No, no, No, You're you're sweet this time, Jason. Finally
- 3:56Speaker 3: you stand down, mate. You're doing a great job, are you.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Guys from ear with the incredibly highly regarded and long
- 4:04Speaker 3: standing media publication Women's Day. Now they have a Facebook page,
- 4:09Speaker 3: do they? And they upload photos and sneak peaks of
- 4:16Speaker 3: upcoming articles. Right, so there's one coming coming out soon.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Rosie Leishman, journalist shares why she's following in her famous
- 4:23Speaker 3: dad's footsteps. Photo photo of her and her father at
- 4:26Speaker 3: forty three likes.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Who's your father?
- 4:28Speaker 3: One comment, I'm guessing Philip, Philip Leo Philip.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Yes.
- 4:33Speaker 3: And then there's a photo of Merely Kerr from the
- 4:36Speaker 3: White bravely shares her mental health Journey one hundred and
- 4:40Speaker 3: eighty five likes, sex comments. Then you scroll down a
- 4:43Speaker 3: bit further, a bit further, and then there's a photo
- 4:46Speaker 3: of Keesy and his wife talking about you know, the
- 4:53Speaker 3: hot romance. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, four hundred and fifty
- 4:56Speaker 3: six likes, one hundred and thirteen comments.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Every single one of these comments.
- 5:02Speaker 2: One by one.
- 5:04Speaker 3: And so I don't regularly use Facebook, and usually if
- 5:08Speaker 3: there's a comment roast going on, it's an Instagram, it's
- 5:11Speaker 3: I'm across it the Woman's Day and I'm not saying
- 5:13Speaker 3: to start one there as well. But the post on
- 5:15Speaker 3: Instagram for Women's Day, one comment saying we look lovely,
- 5:19Speaker 3: The comment siction on the Facebook page of Women's Day
- 5:22Speaker 3: is just an absolute blood bath because I was really
- 5:25Speaker 3: worried because my wife, you know, she doesn't like being
- 5:28Speaker 3: in the public eye fair enough, and so I was
- 5:30Speaker 3: actually genuinely worried, like, oh, I hope she doesn't get
- 5:32Speaker 3: any online bullying or anything like that happening. But the
- 5:35Speaker 3: good news is no one's saying anything about her.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Yeah good, apart from the fact that she looks beautiful.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Yeah, this is the old there's the old comment like,
- 5:42Speaker 3: oh beautiful couple. Yeah, so I'll just start reading out
- 5:46Speaker 3: random comments. Okay, what's on the woman's day with me?
- 5:49Speaker 3: Keysy one hundred and twenty four likes. My wife just
- 5:54Speaker 3: misses saying Phil Leishman's dead. By the way, Josh Castle,
- 5:57Speaker 3: is that hoodie J's nephew? Two hundred it likes. Okay,
- 6:02Speaker 3: smart move to only show one ear Ah it's from Matt.
- 6:05Speaker 4: Because I've sort of got sort of turned your head
- 6:07Speaker 4: to the side.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, nice two hundred and six likes, which is
- 6:12Speaker 2: dangerous because then you short of profile your honker.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Matt Corbett. He looks steamed. One hundred and fifteen like, yeah,
- 6:22Speaker 3: Stephanie says, Poper tram mean, get on these Pepperoni's babe,
- 6:27Speaker 3: twenty likes.
- 6:28Speaker 4: Now, you've got to think at this stage Woman's day
- 6:30Speaker 4: of they've worken up in the morning there, they've had
- 6:32Speaker 4: a look at all the comments and everything. Jesus is
- 6:35Speaker 4: going off, Chris keen to have a look at this
- 6:38Speaker 4: is and all you get is Trammy chat, big nips chat,
- 6:43Speaker 4: massive honker chat chat. I don't think they knew what
- 6:47Speaker 4: they're in for.
- 6:48Speaker 2: That was my exact thought when brought it up. I
- 6:51Speaker 2: wonder what Woman's Day is making of all this stuff?
- 6:54Speaker 3: Tony Wilson any shots of the meat patties one hundred
- 6:57Speaker 3: and thirty eight Joe where it says smiling like he
- 7:01Speaker 3: just did a big keasy before the photoshop. James says,
- 7:06Speaker 3: biggest nips in the game. Anthony says, did he do
- 7:11Speaker 3: the interview on all fours? Looking back over his shoulder.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Hell good, Mike says, the biggest wit blanket on radio?
- 7:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I just ignore that one.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Just take all the other ones on board.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Thomas says, keesy looks like he's just in a massive
- 7:32Speaker 3: midnight steamer. It's just and then the rest of people
- 7:36Speaker 3: tagging their mates go get around these comments. So it
- 7:40Speaker 3: is an absolute shambles. But I must say I was
- 7:43Speaker 3: very worried, as I said, you know about you know,
- 7:46Speaker 3: myself and my partner being volnies publication like Woman's Day,
- 7:51Speaker 3: But the the listeners have made it well worth it.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I would genuinely love to know how Woman's Day is
- 7:58Speaker 2: taking all this.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Especially when they can they read this comment. They don't
- 8:01Speaker 3: understand the comment from Gary how I beat monkey porn
- 8:04Speaker 3: by me keezy. There have no idea what that even means.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Oh so good.
- 8:12Speaker 3: To be honest, it's actually a shout out to the
- 8:14Speaker 3: Hodarkey listeners, very very very funny reading.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Yes, good stuff. Hey, here's the Killers.
- 8:23Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 8:27Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio hod.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Ichs and d super Groove. There on the Radio Hodarchy
- 8:32Speaker 2: Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is twenty five
- 8:35Speaker 2: minutes past four o'clock. Fellow's got a question for you,
- 8:37Speaker 2: genuine question, and it's one we've kind of touched on
- 8:40Speaker 2: briefly before, and it's to do with inheritance. Now, my
- 8:44Speaker 2: wife and I the place that we've moved until we
- 8:47Speaker 2: have a little storage locker, and we were going through
- 8:49Speaker 2: that in the weekend and we came across stuff that
- 8:53Speaker 2: we had inherited, like from my wife's point of view,
- 8:56Speaker 2: from a great auntie for example, silver teapots and stuff
- 9:00Speaker 2: like that, stuff that I inherited from my grandparents and parents.
- 9:05Speaker 2: And the reality is it's for a start in a
- 9:07Speaker 2: storage locker which tells you its own story. And we
- 9:11Speaker 2: were saying to ourselves and asking ourselves the question, what's
- 9:14Speaker 2: the story here? Yeah? I mean, is it okay when
- 9:18Speaker 2: you've been given these things from your grandparents or whatever.
- 9:22Speaker 2: To sell it off. Now, my reasoning is, I mean,
- 9:25Speaker 2: I know that there's all sorts of emotional connections, and
- 9:28Speaker 2: you know, it may help you to remember that and
- 9:30Speaker 2: that scenario, remember those people in that scenario. I sort
- 9:34Speaker 2: of get it. But when you're never going to use them,
- 9:37Speaker 2: when they're just in storage, or they might not be
- 9:40Speaker 2: a cup of tea if you like you know what
- 9:42Speaker 2: I mean, I don't really like it. It's pretty ugly
- 9:44Speaker 2: and it's never going to be in the house. Isn't
- 9:46Speaker 2: it better to sell it off? Sure you get a
- 9:50Speaker 2: couple of bucks extra bucks, but maybe someone's using it.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Maybe someone would love that and actually it would be
- 9:58Speaker 2: become a part of their life.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Is that where you keep the that framed scorecard from
- 10:04Speaker 4: the Worldtiest Championship that I gave you.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Moggie, That is pride of place in the bog? Is it?
- 10:10Speaker 3: Is it actually in this because you spend quite a
- 10:12Speaker 3: lot of money on that as a gift.
- 10:13Speaker 4: For money, Yeah, framed storage.
- 10:17Speaker 2: As I explained to you, Moggie, that was my wife,
- 10:20Speaker 2: not me.
- 10:21Speaker 4: Oh yeah, no, I understand, But yeah, I completely get
- 10:23Speaker 4: where you're coming from. Obviously, Mum, my mum, Marge has
- 10:26Speaker 4: just moved into a retirement village, not a retirement home,
- 10:29Speaker 4: I want to be quite clear about the village. But
- 10:31Speaker 4: she's downside. So a whole bunch of stuff has arrived
- 10:33Speaker 4: at at my place, and it's God, there's some real
- 10:38Speaker 4: emotional connections that you have to things, but as you say,
- 10:42Speaker 4: a lot of it's it's a bit dated. Yes, some
- 10:45Speaker 4: of the things that you've got some Royal Dalton, like
- 10:48Speaker 4: a Royal Dalton, full Royal Dalton dinner set, all the
- 10:51Speaker 4: plates and all these sorts of things, but it's got
- 10:53Speaker 4: all this floral sort of painting on top of it.
- 10:56Speaker 4: So well, when am I gonna When am I going
- 10:59Speaker 4: to use that?
- 11:00Speaker 2: Exactly?
- 11:01Speaker 4: So it sort of feels like, yes, I guess you
- 11:03Speaker 4: offer it to your children first, maybe they would like
- 11:06Speaker 4: those things, and that gets it out of your out
- 11:09Speaker 4: of your storage unit.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Yes, or yeah, you can sell it. Yeah, well you're
- 11:13Speaker 2: speaking of Royal Dalton. That's worth a few barb mate.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Well it is, man, and it's worth more to be
- 11:18Speaker 4: solved and sold than it is with any kind of
- 11:21Speaker 4: sentimental value. Sentimental value. I prefer financial value, monetary value.
- 11:27Speaker 4: Sentimental value fine, but.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Also genuinely it is that thing of Well, actually, there'll
- 11:33Speaker 2: be some people out there that would love this sort
- 11:35Speaker 2: of stuff, like you know, like duck plate, duck plate,
- 11:38Speaker 2: you know, plates with ducks on them. And then your
- 11:40Speaker 2: wife by all of those, Oh, she's got some that
- 11:43Speaker 2: were my wife didn't buy them. A friend of ours
- 11:46Speaker 2: brought them for my wife.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Because she loves duck plate.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Yeah, because she loves duck plates. But often, as you say, Mogi,
- 11:52Speaker 2: it's alf you know, like I got some stuff from
- 11:54Speaker 2: my granded tools because he was a carpenter. What's already
- 11:59Speaker 2: j going to do with those? And there really old school,
- 12:03Speaker 2: old school a lot of them, and they might be
- 12:05Speaker 2: really valuable to someone else, you know what I mean?
- 12:07Speaker 2: And I mean, is it terrible that I would sell
- 12:10Speaker 2: them off and get a few bucks here and there
- 12:13Speaker 2: and someone makes use of them.
- 12:15Speaker 3: You said the silver teapot, is it real silver?
- 12:17Speaker 2: I think it is. Yeah.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Melt it down, make a ring.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Turn it into a bar maybe, like.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Yeah, or make it like a ring or something that
- 12:24Speaker 3: you could actually still have on you, you know what
- 12:27Speaker 3: I mean.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Yeahs ring thing. I don't want to melted down teapot
- 12:35Speaker 2: as a key, as a ring on my finger.
- 12:38Speaker 3: That would be a suggestion in the issue too, is
- 12:42Speaker 3: like what are you going to leave behind?
- 12:44Speaker 5: Oh?
- 12:44Speaker 4: Yeah, your boys trip hat?
- 12:46Speaker 2: Yes, Like what I'm going to leave behind is huge wealth,
- 12:52Speaker 2: huge financial sort of comfort.
- 12:56Speaker 3: At a full library, a very questionable, questionable radio content
- 13:00Speaker 3: which is all going to be available online.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Yeah, totally, man. But I want to know what the
- 13:03Speaker 2: audience thinks about this on three four eight three, because
- 13:06Speaker 2: I'm genuine about this, because there is that part of
- 13:08Speaker 2: me that goes, oh no, you can't do that.
- 13:10Speaker 4: You get a bit of a guilt trip blade on you,
- 13:11Speaker 4: don't you because regardless being of value to somebody else,
- 13:14Speaker 4: and it seemed to be the value, but really it's
- 13:15Speaker 4: just it's just another box of shit.
- 13:17Speaker 2: It is. Yes, that's true.
- 13:19Speaker 3: You'd be happy to know OJ's three people of text
- 13:21Speaker 3: and ask you if they can have the duck plates
- 13:23Speaker 3: three eight three. If you'd like any of this stuff.
- 13:27Speaker 2: I should start an online option.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Do you know how to do that?
- 13:30Speaker 6: No?
- 13:31Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy tune.
- 13:34Speaker 2: In four on radio is indeed Metallica there on the
- 13:38Speaker 2: radio Hodarky Big Show this Monday afternoon. Now that, of course,
- 13:43Speaker 2: there was a bit of rugby league action over the weekend.
- 13:45Speaker 2: With that in mind, we've got our own resident rugby
- 13:48Speaker 2: league legend on the line with us. Charlie. Good it, Charlie,
- 13:51Speaker 2: you mad barstard? How's life Hoidy jazz?
- 13:55Speaker 4: Life is good.
- 13:55Speaker 6: I'm a bit disorientated enough to listen to that heavy metal.
- 13:59Speaker 6: I was hoping for some Chili Peppers or some kings
- 14:01Speaker 6: of Leon. Wow.
- 14:02Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe it's missing with your head so much that
- 14:05Speaker 4: you started jumping on competitors radio stations. Man, what's it
- 14:09Speaker 4: all about? And what I've seen you on other radio stations. Charlie,
- 14:15Speaker 4: what the hell's going on?
- 14:16Speaker 5: That's not the real meat. You've got the real meat
- 14:19Speaker 5: here right now?
- 14:19Speaker 2: All right?
- 14:20Speaker 6: Might not allowed to be two faced?
- 14:22Speaker 2: No mate, you can't now listen Charlie two it's mogie.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Put them two good solid losses from the Fells. Are
- 14:30Speaker 2: your thoughts on the game over the weekend.
- 14:37Speaker 5: I think it was.
- 14:38Speaker 6: Still a brave performance, Hoodie. I feel like we didn't
- 14:42Speaker 6: play well and attack defense was very good. We didn't
- 14:44Speaker 6: really let them score, you know, for the last sixty.
- 14:47Speaker 6: But it was just a real strange game like you do.
- 14:51Speaker 6: You don't see those sort of games anymore from from
- 14:54Speaker 6: class teams where it's such so low scoring. But we
- 14:57Speaker 6: were very inexperience off the bench, and I thought that
- 15:00Speaker 6: showed in the end when it was a close game
- 15:03Speaker 6: on Charlie.
- 15:06Speaker 5: It was, it was.
- 15:06Speaker 3: It was a tough watch for me for some reason.
- 15:08Speaker 3: I was watching that game the whole time. I was like,
- 15:10Speaker 3: oh man, this is It wasn't as enjoyable as a
- 15:12Speaker 3: Warriors game usually is, perhaps because of the inexperience and
- 15:15Speaker 3: stuff out there, but also, you know, despite the inexperience,
- 15:18Speaker 3: the Sharks are a very very potent, potent offensive side.
- 15:23Speaker 3: As you said, we kept them to just one try,
- 15:25Speaker 3: and then it took a moment or two moments of
- 15:27Speaker 3: absolute brilliance for them to win the game. It took
- 15:30Speaker 3: their fullback charging down and somehow catching the ball all
- 15:33Speaker 3: be ridiculous, well, Kennedy, and then they're five eighth slotting
- 15:38Speaker 3: a forty plus meter you know, field goal. Surely, those
- 15:41Speaker 3: young fellers, especially guys like Tennis hours Smith, they could
- 15:44Speaker 3: take a lot of sort of pride from the fact
- 15:46Speaker 3: that they managed to do that right.
- 15:49Speaker 6: Right, right right right. Tennisal Smith is the man, and
- 15:54Speaker 6: the whole team is the men. But we just I
- 15:57Speaker 6: don't know. We we did get a little bit dominated
- 16:01Speaker 6: in that game, like it was hard to get momentum.
- 16:04Speaker 6: Even our backs weren't carrying it, like they were caring hard.
- 16:07Speaker 5: But shuts were up and like you said, they're a
- 16:09Speaker 5: good side.
- 16:10Speaker 6: They came over and we've had it pretty pretty easy
- 16:13Speaker 6: as Warriors fans the last few months. So it's just, yeah,
- 16:18Speaker 6: it's a bit uneasy losing, but at the same time,
- 16:21Speaker 6: it's the NRL and we're we're st or second on
- 16:23Speaker 6: the ladder.
- 16:24Speaker 4: It feels like this time last year, if we had
- 16:25Speaker 4: the kid mate the same players missing, we would have
- 16:28Speaker 4: got belted by twenty. So I enjoyed it. I enjoyed
- 16:31Speaker 4: the arm rectal nature of it. But I think you're right,
- 16:34Speaker 4: it felt like we were always sort of under the
- 16:36Speaker 4: gun and try and trying to get out of our end.
- 16:38Speaker 4: And I think it sort of points to the loss
- 16:40Speaker 4: of Roger at two of us a sheik where we're losing,
- 16:42Speaker 4: we've lost a bit of size in that back five.
- 16:45Speaker 4: We got Teapecky Camperrera and all of those guys sort
- 16:50Speaker 4: of get they don't make the big meters coming out
- 16:53Speaker 4: the back end.
- 16:54Speaker 6: There no you're right, they're not as good as at
- 16:58Speaker 6: the tough carriers to get momentum them. But yeah, I
- 17:02Speaker 6: think what it boils down to, Mogi Sharks were better
- 17:04Speaker 6: on the night they were men. We didn't put our
- 17:07Speaker 6: best performance in, but it was still all effort. We
- 17:10Speaker 6: put our best effort in and we just missed the market.
- 17:13Speaker 6: But there's nothing to worry about. We're going to be
- 17:16Speaker 6: back on this week. We got We've got the Cowboys,
- 17:18Speaker 6: cow Boys, mate Cowboys. After that down and christ and
- 17:21Speaker 6: exactly right, I mean it's we held them score. It's
- 17:24Speaker 6: the only reason those scored is because we got penalized
- 17:26Speaker 6: from a bit of a weird thing from the refere
- 17:29Speaker 6: He penalized us after telling us we had five seconds
- 17:31Speaker 6: left to do a dropout and then yeah, we got
- 17:34Speaker 6: penalis So that was two points. And then dw z
- 17:36Speaker 6: brain explosion led to a try. Yeah, that's right, and
- 17:40Speaker 6: that probably came from us not getting out of our half.
- 17:43Speaker 6: So well, you know, dw look for a bit of
- 17:45Speaker 6: a short cut and offload. If it went a hand
- 17:47Speaker 6: that would have worked. It didn't.
- 17:49Speaker 5: They skilled on the back of it and that was
- 17:50Speaker 5: the only try they got.
- 17:51Speaker 6: But Gabby, we had opportunity to hang on Hoidy. When
- 17:55Speaker 6: you hear two scond paus inn you talk. So we
- 17:59Speaker 6: had we had so hang on Rabuttals. We had opportunities
- 18:05Speaker 6: to win at Hoidy. Somighty Martin got charged down. We
- 18:10Speaker 6: fumbled a little bit on the corner, which was a
- 18:12Speaker 6: half opportunity, but you know that's forty hody.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Now this brings me to my very point, and it
- 18:19Speaker 2: was on the chat live while we were watching the game.
- 18:22Speaker 2: In those last few minutes, we got the penalty right
- 18:25Speaker 2: on their trial line. We decided to take the kick,
- 18:28Speaker 2: and I was saying, kick for the corner. Beck yourselves
- 18:31Speaker 2: to score because I had a terrible feeling that they
- 18:34Speaker 2: were going to miss the kick. Championship teams, Gubby take
- 18:39Speaker 2: those opportunities, they back themselves and they score.
- 18:44Speaker 6: Yes, you're You're right, and I'm pretty sure we're going
- 18:47Speaker 6: to learn from that one. So next next time, when
- 18:50Speaker 6: it's the championship rounds, we'll be winning and they'll be
- 18:53Speaker 6: going hood.
- 18:53Speaker 5: He told us about that.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Yeah, totally, man, you're a genius Jason. Before we let
- 18:57Speaker 3: you go there, Charlie, who is your porter king play
- 19:00Speaker 3: of the round mate?
- 19:02Speaker 4: It wasn't it?
- 19:03Speaker 6: Wasn't a player. It was a new restaurant out West
- 19:05Speaker 6: west Auckland. I was up there mother in law's birthday.
- 19:08Speaker 6: It's called West Banquet Buffet and it was it was
- 19:11Speaker 6: ten out of ten.
- 19:13Speaker 3: How good.
- 19:14Speaker 2: I never heard of that place. I lived there for
- 19:16Speaker 2: fifty years.
- 19:17Speaker 4: It's shocking. Hey, what about you, brother? What about Fuller Man?
- 19:21Speaker 6: Just briefly, Oh yeah, he's the man, he's the other
- 19:24Speaker 6: He was runner up.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah he was.
- 19:26Speaker 5: If he was working the tables at the banquet he
- 19:29Speaker 5: would have got it.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Yeah, good stuff. Hey Gabby, Sorry mate, it's a song playing,
- 19:32Speaker 2: so we're going to have to cut you off.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Big shout out to Charlie Gubb. If you need a
- 19:36Speaker 3: portaloo you're in the Wellington area, make sure you hit
- 19:38Speaker 3: up Uncle Charlie at Porter King. Thanks Charlie.
- 19:40Speaker 1: See a Fellows for the Hidarchy Big Show week days
- 19:44Speaker 1: from four on Radio Hodarky.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Indeed Lincoln Park. There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 19:50Speaker 2: this Monday afternoon, Net's Talk TV. What's on the Telly
- 19:56Speaker 2: with Mike Minogue? Yeah yeah.
- 20:04Speaker 4: On Saturday night there fellers watch Marty Supreme. Oh yes,
- 20:09Speaker 4: MADEI Supreme. Timothy Shammalama Ding Dong and that one there
- 20:15Speaker 4: and there, got about halfway through it and went to bed.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Must be good. It's all right, do you watch the
- 20:21Speaker 3: end of it?
- 20:21Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, I'll get there. But yeah, I wasn't blowing away.
- 20:25Speaker 4: I was really looking forward to it because I'd managed
- 20:27Speaker 4: to avoid knowing anything about it during all the Oscar
- 20:31Speaker 4: runs and all that sort of stuff. It's a bit
- 20:34Speaker 4: a bit of a weird one because you've got the
- 20:35Speaker 4: main guy, Mardy Supreme, who's he's run into his ping
- 20:38Speaker 4: pong he wants to be the world champion of ping
- 20:41Speaker 4: pong back in the day there. Yeah, and he's a
- 20:44Speaker 4: massive decade he is, and he's completely unlikable. I'm assuming
- 20:49Speaker 4: at some point he might get likable, but and so
- 20:51Speaker 4: it's a weird thing to watch when you're not.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Rooting for him at all. Yeah, Dragons, he's a complete idiot.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Like we're just watching it again and yes, noms all, Yeah,
- 21:05Speaker 4: it's not funny. He's like he's kind of like what
- 21:07Speaker 4: you think Timothy Shallon and May would be like in
- 21:09Speaker 4: real life. Yes, but anyway, if you like that sort
- 21:14Speaker 4: of thing, get along. I watched it on Apple for
- 21:18Speaker 4: eight bucks. But yeah, two busies out of possible five.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Personally, I know exactly the point you're making. He's not
- 21:27Speaker 2: a likable character at all. I enjoyed it though, But yeah,
- 21:32Speaker 2: I watched Geeka, Oh nice.
- 21:36Speaker 4: Hawk.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Yes, actually where they fell in love. They fell in
- 21:38Speaker 2: love on the set.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Written and directed by New Zealander Andrew Nicol.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Yes, I've never heard of it.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Vincent, a genetically inferior man who always aspired to travel
- 21:47Speaker 2: in space, assumes the identity of a paraplegic in order
- 21:51Speaker 2: to accomplish his goal. It's in a world where you
- 21:54Speaker 2: can be genetically modified or choose not to, and his parents, man,
- 21:57Speaker 2: I don't want I don't want to do that. And
- 22:00Speaker 2: so when you're born, they have a redoubt and it's like, oh,
- 22:02Speaker 2: there's a ninety nine percent changing and they have heart
- 22:04Speaker 2: defex you're public. Your your predicted death is around thirty
- 22:08Speaker 2: two years of age. And so but anyway, it's he
- 22:11Speaker 2: was so determined to become to fly into space, and
- 22:13Speaker 2: it's a story around that. It was a controversial film
- 22:17Speaker 2: in the sense that because it's a big sort of
- 22:18Speaker 2: sci fi blockbuster. I think it costs like thirty odd
- 22:21Speaker 2: million to make, and it was a big flop. And
- 22:25Speaker 2: the reason it was a big flop because it wasn't
- 22:27Speaker 2: any sort of action scenes really, you know, there wasn't
- 22:29Speaker 2: the big explosions in space action. But I actually really
- 22:33Speaker 2: enjoyed it as a film, as a sort of psychological film.
- 22:37Speaker 2: But yeah, look, I'll give it a good solid three
- 22:39Speaker 2: point two Bozzieszzies.
- 22:42Speaker 3: How many bozzies are there on the Bozzi? Yeah, I
- 22:46Speaker 3: watched some stuff and I'll talk about it tomorrow because
- 22:48Speaker 3: the're running out of time, are your feelers? But after
- 22:50Speaker 3: five o'clock, Yeah, we've got some serious show Edmund to discuss.
- 22:54Speaker 3: We've got to revisit Come Dine with Me? Yes, okay,
- 22:58Speaker 3: So we'll get into that Edmond. After Beautiful.
- 23:03Speaker 1: The Hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio hod I.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Welcome back to your massive backbones. Hope you're getting through
- 23:11Speaker 2: your Monday tickety boo. You're listening to the Big Show,
- 23:14Speaker 2: by the way, brought.
- 23:15Speaker 3: To you by Reboogear, handcrafted burgers, loaded fries and gourmet
- 23:18Speaker 3: eas that will change the game. Yeah, totally, fellas so good.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Coming up next, we're going to be discussing Come Dine
- 23:31Speaker 3: with Me, yes. Now, we sort of toyed with this
- 23:35Speaker 3: idea a couple of was it a couple of months ago, Jason?
- 23:37Speaker 3: Three months ago, two or three year? It's been a while, Moki.
- 23:40Speaker 3: You're addicted to the TV show for a while.
- 23:42Speaker 4: There my one five star review of the year, the
- 23:46Speaker 4: British TV show Come Dine with Me. We're a group
- 23:49Speaker 4: of people get together. They go around for dinner at
- 23:51Speaker 4: each other's houses over the course of a week, and
- 23:53Speaker 4: they give each other a rating to come up with
- 23:56Speaker 4: a winner at the end of the weekend. That win
- 23:57Speaker 4: a thousand pounds, which is very very so.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Jace just so happened to be hosting a dinner at
- 24:04Speaker 3: his new apartment, right, and then we were like, well,
- 24:06Speaker 3: let's turn this into a mini Come Dine with Me.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Very successful, a lot of chat out of it.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Why not if you read the scores, it wasn't.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Well, it's not my fault. You got a sex out
- 24:14Speaker 3: of ten mate, Well, I mean it kind of is
- 24:17Speaker 3: my fault, but because I gave you the rating, but
- 24:19Speaker 3: it was your fault, sure, you know what I mean.
- 24:22Speaker 3: But that now bigs the question who's hosting the next one?
- 24:25Speaker 3: How's it going to work? What's it going to look
- 24:27Speaker 3: like because we need to do this legit, yes, properly.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I totally agree. And just as a sort of outside,
- 24:33Speaker 2: sort of periphery to that whole argument. You know, technically
- 24:37Speaker 2: I wasn't told it was to come dine with me?
- 24:39Speaker 2: So do I get another opportunity. We'll get into it
- 24:42Speaker 2: all of that next though, one hundred.
- 24:44Speaker 3: You can have as many opportunities as you want.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Jason, And I'm well embedded in my new place now,
- 24:50Speaker 2: whereas I'd only just moved in then she was a
- 24:52Speaker 2: bit ten years Oh, I.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Can feel a seven potential seven coming on.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Here's Lincoln partner.
- 24:57Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show was Jason, tune in.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Yes, indeed, we are there on the radio Hodaki Big
- 25:07Speaker 2: Show this Monday evening. The time is five thirteen, and
- 25:10Speaker 2: we're wanting to reset the table fellas on our come
- 25:14Speaker 2: Dine with Me competition.
- 25:15Speaker 4: See what you've done there, man, Come dine with.
- 25:19Speaker 2: The feelings, And the idea of it basically is by
- 25:23Speaker 2: a sort of based on the program where we each
- 25:25Speaker 2: host an evening at our place, we cooked the meals,
- 25:29Speaker 2: the fellows come over, and we give each other a score.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Yes, so in the TV show I've not watched a
- 25:34Speaker 3: lot of it. Is it like an entre main? Is
- 25:36Speaker 3: it every single time?
- 25:38Speaker 4: Plus entertainment plus entertainment. You don't have to do the entertainment.
- 25:41Speaker 3: But do people like in the TV show, do they
- 25:43Speaker 3: try and like learn how to juggle and really lame
- 25:46Speaker 3: stuff like that?
- 25:46Speaker 4: Now they've ever either got a natural talent or they
- 25:50Speaker 4: might get in a singer or you know, a guy
- 25:53Speaker 4: on a piano or something. You notice something something. I've
- 25:56Speaker 4: seen pole dancers and all sorts of different stuff.
- 26:01Speaker 2: And often too the ones i've seen, they'll have a theme,
- 26:04Speaker 2: you know what I mean? Going on?
- 26:07Speaker 4: You'll have sort of people come along keezy style and
- 26:10Speaker 4: sort of trying sabotage things like what is this? It's
- 26:13Speaker 4: a it's a did you make the pastry? Or did
- 26:16Speaker 4: you buy the pastry? All this sort of stuff, Oh,
- 26:19Speaker 4: are you going.
- 26:20Speaker 2: To put this in that glass?
- 26:21Speaker 3: Okay, okay, sorry, serving red wine and tumblers deserves to
- 26:27Speaker 3: get you knocked down a peg in the ratings.
- 26:29Speaker 4: And perfectly normal, perfectly normal.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Yeah, well, so here's the thing I did the first one,
- 26:36Speaker 2: and in fairness to me, it wasn't even a we
- 26:38Speaker 2: hadn't even really started to come dine with me.
- 26:40Speaker 4: You became come down with me after it was Now
- 26:44Speaker 4: to be clear, Keyzy myself and Pegs Wien you it
- 26:47Speaker 4: has come down with me, but it was a surprise
- 26:49Speaker 4: for you. So you're on sex points.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Yeah, Well I.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Gave you a sex out of ten? What did you
- 26:53Speaker 3: give them?
- 26:54Speaker 4: Eight? Probably an eight?
- 26:55Speaker 2: Yeah, and I gave.
- 26:58Speaker 4: A seven because I needed to have room to move
- 27:00Speaker 4: for everybody else. Maybe it was an eight.
- 27:02Speaker 2: You were an eight and Pegs was an eight. Keysy
- 27:04Speaker 2: was a set.
- 27:05Speaker 3: So you add those together, it's twenty two out of
- 27:07Speaker 3: a possible thirty. Yeah, and that was your partner as
- 27:10Speaker 3: well involved.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Yes, indeed it was. So we're here again and we
- 27:14Speaker 2: want to reboot it into life, probably properly. And the
- 27:18Speaker 2: decision we need to make is who's next on the list? Yeah?
- 27:21Speaker 3: And also so well, I think we might have to
- 27:24Speaker 3: draw names out of a head or something. Do you
- 27:26Speaker 3: do you want your name to be in there? Do
- 27:27Speaker 3: you count that first? Come down with me? Or do
- 27:29Speaker 3: you want to start again? Clean slate?
- 27:30Speaker 6: No?
- 27:31Speaker 3: Six out of ten?
- 27:33Speaker 2: Start again?
- 27:34Speaker 4: Start again?
- 27:34Speaker 3: There you go.
- 27:35Speaker 2: You can do better than that, absolutely, because.
- 27:37Speaker 3: The risk of getting a five out of ten is
- 27:38Speaker 3: definitely there.
- 27:39Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, I am, because you had practically nothing to
- 27:42Speaker 4: do with any of the food the first time around. Jason,
- 27:44Speaker 4: do you think it's cost you because you've never rated
- 27:46Speaker 4: your wife's cooking?
- 27:47Speaker 2: Oh? Look, I rate it very very high as well.
- 27:51Speaker 3: You know, Can I just remind you that I brought
- 27:54Speaker 3: a large portion of the entree and brought the bread
- 27:57Speaker 3: which everyone ended up having the meat balls on, and
- 27:59Speaker 3: so you know, I was partially involved.
- 28:02Speaker 2: You were more involved in the then Jace was exactly
- 28:05Speaker 2: So yeah, yeah, definitely, I'll give it another crack.
- 28:09Speaker 3: Imagine if imagine if we put the names in the hat,
- 28:12Speaker 3: draw it out, it's Jass. We do it again at
- 28:15Speaker 3: his house, and then we just kind of lose fers
- 28:17Speaker 3: around the whole thing.
- 28:18Speaker 2: And also, also the weird thing was that only just
- 28:21Speaker 2: moved into my apartment. We were there for fifteen minutes
- 28:24Speaker 2: and we already had a complaint from the neighbor underneath.
- 28:27Speaker 2: So I was a bit tense. You were a bit
- 28:29Speaker 2: more tense than I would normally be because it was like, fowlers,
- 28:32Speaker 2: can you keep it down a bit, especially when my
- 28:35Speaker 2: wife started telling lies and you guys found that hilarious. Yeah,
- 28:39Speaker 2: so how do we want to do game to do
- 28:41Speaker 2: it next?
- 28:42Speaker 3: I think the hat pure and we'll all plead our
- 28:45Speaker 3: case because I know each of us kind of doesn't
- 28:46Speaker 3: want to host this first one for various reasons, which
- 28:49Speaker 3: we'll get into next. Do you reckon if you host
- 28:54Speaker 3: another one? Jason'll just as your wife says, all right,
- 28:57Speaker 3: you know what seconds you'll get up and clear everyone's
- 28:59Speaker 3: plates and they can't have them.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Well, I like a tidy house mate, geezy, yeah, fair enough,
- 29:05Speaker 2: especially the way you were slopping around the meatballs all
- 29:07Speaker 2: over the bloody.
- 29:08Speaker 3: I was sawping the meatballs on the couch.
- 29:12Speaker 2: These queens are the sonate.
- 29:15Speaker 1: The Hllarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodar.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Is Pearl Jam there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 29:22Speaker 2: this Monday afternoon. The time is five twenty six, and
- 29:25Speaker 2: we're discussing come Dine with Me.
- 29:29Speaker 4: Come Dine with.
- 29:32Speaker 2: The Feelings, which is a competition. We sort of started
- 29:36Speaker 2: that one. I mean it's based on a TV show
- 29:39Speaker 2: where each of the fellas here has all the other
- 29:41Speaker 2: fellows and their partners over for dinner and we give
- 29:44Speaker 2: each other a score.
- 29:45Speaker 4: That's right right, that's a pretty direct rip off from
- 29:47Speaker 4: the TV.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Very direct.
- 29:49Speaker 3: We've even named it after the TV show Pug Soun's
- 29:52Speaker 3: also here.
- 29:57Speaker 7: Didn't know who're having a handsome club and here feelings
- 30:01Speaker 7: has been nice to see it.
- 30:05Speaker 3: I've marked you down already on your first one.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Can I just say just quietly and I want to
- 30:10Speaker 2: say it out loud?
- 30:12Speaker 3: Okay.
- 30:12Speaker 2: I personally think Puksan is a big favorite for this.
- 30:16Speaker 2: He's he's a shift magnifique.
- 30:24Speaker 4: Sure, and I think the food will be great.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Yes. Hey, So what we've decided to do is I'm
- 30:29Speaker 2: going to chuck my hat back in the ring because
- 30:31Speaker 2: I felt I wasn't given fair chance there. I didn't
- 30:34Speaker 2: realize it was a come down with me thing. It
- 30:36Speaker 2: was just a fellows for dinner, all right. So we're
- 30:39Speaker 2: going to check it back in there.
- 30:40Speaker 3: Now before we before we do this draw, I've written
- 30:43Speaker 3: four names down on pieces of paper. I've put them
- 30:44Speaker 3: in Jason's Boy's trip hat.
- 30:46Speaker 4: Yeah, which is great?
- 30:47Speaker 3: Is that Reacan names that it does reek Now it
- 30:49Speaker 3: smells that real cream.
- 30:50Speaker 2: It'll have a bit of there'll be a few knits
- 30:52Speaker 2: in there as well. Actually, just be careful.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Now, just quickly, pretty much all of us don't want
- 30:58Speaker 3: to host this first one.
- 31:00Speaker 2: So, Maggie, you.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Use a strong chance your wife might not be here.
- 31:03Speaker 4: I've just got stuff on, man, Okay, I just got stuff.
- 31:06Speaker 4: I'm just very very busy. That's it. That's it.
- 31:10Speaker 2: What about you, Keezy?
- 31:12Speaker 3: Well, I'm about to move house. Yeah, so to host
- 31:14Speaker 3: a big dinner party in my house as I'm trying
- 31:16Speaker 3: to sort of like half packed, I don't know away
- 31:19Speaker 3: it'll be a bit of a pain in the ass,
- 31:21Speaker 3: you know what I mean? Yes, Pugs, why don't you
- 31:24Speaker 3: want to host the first one?
- 31:26Speaker 7: I'm just really busy, man. And also very recently hosted
- 31:30Speaker 7: a dinner party and it was like got to have
- 31:31Speaker 7: a cool down period after that?
- 31:33Speaker 2: Was it?
- 31:33Speaker 4: On the weekend? Just being yeah? Yeah?
- 31:35Speaker 3: But also, isn't your house it's like a one bedroom,
- 31:37Speaker 3: tiny apartment thing.
- 31:37Speaker 4: Yeah, but that's not going to change by the time
- 31:39Speaker 4: you're ready make it? Is box his house? Still a

- 35:32Speaker 3: Yeah, perfect, bigd You sound like the perfect candidate. You're

- 35:55Speaker 5: Brother Royal which a big warriors man? I'm here.
- 36:05Speaker 2: He's a really fast one. Ah yeah on the wing beer.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Yeah, certainly is Jason. You know your stuff, Dave? What
- 36:12Speaker 3: can you do if you want this trip to go
- 36:13Speaker 3: over there and ruin it for everyone?
- 36:15Speaker 2: Man? Well, when I have a few peers sometimes are
- 36:18Speaker 2: like kind of take up my clothes and run around.
- 36:20Speaker 2: That might help.
- 36:20Speaker 4: Oh well, I've got another question for you if you want,
- 36:23Speaker 4: who would you bring with.
- 36:24Speaker 2: You to be a part of between my oldest and
- 36:27Speaker 2: my youngest son?
- 36:28Speaker 3: Ye geese yeah actually yeah, yeah, good on you Dave.
- 36:34Speaker 2: You're in the drawer as well. Mate, down the line
- 36:36Speaker 2: packs will saw you out? Get on your mate.
- 36:39Speaker 4: That's a tough one.
- 36:40Speaker 3: It is a tough one, you know. Send the fellow
- 36:42Speaker 3: with the kid lovely or the guy from Waitekato who's
- 36:45Speaker 3: just gonna get abliterated.
- 36:48Speaker 4: Tough call for that father, how do you choose?
- 36:50Speaker 2: Well, that's right between two sounds, nary, what do you do? Yeah,
- 36:54Speaker 2: that's a real tough one.
- 36:55Speaker 3: Maybe some sort of rugby league quiz.
- 36:57Speaker 4: Yeah, take a mate and steal. Both have to miss out,
- 37:00Speaker 4: wouldn't they?
- 37:01Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's either both or none.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Yes, it is, of course an expert Ultra Grand Final
- 37:07Speaker 3: Beer Garden Tour in Sydney. These boys have done these
- 37:10Speaker 3: trips all around the world. Amsterdam, they went to the States,
- 37:14Speaker 3: to Austin, Texas and the South. Here it sounded like
- 37:17Speaker 3: an absolute hoot. So if you want to be part
- 37:19Speaker 3: of this, keep an air on Radio Hodarky and call
- 37:21Speaker 3: O eight hundred Hadarky when you hear that cue to.
- 37:23Speaker 2: Call good stuff. In the meantime, he's a little bit
- 37:26Speaker 2: of guns Roses.
- 37:29Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarky.
- 37:33Speaker 2: He is indeed the Hives there on the Radio Hodarchy
- 37:36Speaker 2: Big Show. This Monday afternoon. The time is five point
- 37:39Speaker 2: fifty two. Let's talk sport.
- 37:42Speaker 3: Are we doing sports? Chow I thought, this is oh yeah,
- 37:44Speaker 3: we can with sport.
- 37:45Speaker 4: This sport all right, Gort who it's sport in the sense,
- 37:52Speaker 4: So we're going to talk about Kane Williamson, who you
- 37:55Speaker 4: have to say it was a shock announcement over the
- 37:57Speaker 4: weekend that he was retiring from international cricket with immediate effect, Yes,
- 38:02Speaker 4: immediate effects. So he played the first Test at Lord's
- 38:06Speaker 4: and then came out and said, yeah, he was done
- 38:09Speaker 4: and dusted. So it was a bit of a it
- 38:11Speaker 4: was a bit of a shock to the system. And
- 38:12Speaker 4: Bloody said, yeah, really said.
- 38:14Speaker 2: I think it's really fair to say that he was
- 38:17Speaker 2: our greatest ever cricketer. Yeah, he was passionate about the game,
- 38:22Speaker 2: by far our most successful cricketer. I think mid fifties
- 38:26Speaker 2: is test average, maybe even similar for his one day record,
- 38:29Speaker 2: thirties for his T twenty record. He was a phenomenal player.
- 38:34Speaker 2: Thirty three Test hundreds or something like that.
- 38:36Speaker 4: That's right, fifty the average of fifty four point zero
- 38:40Speaker 4: six and tests nine and a half thousand runs. You know,
- 38:44Speaker 4: people talk about Martin Crowe's head and shoulders above crow
- 38:47Speaker 4: Your average about forty four to forty five. The only
- 38:49Speaker 4: other ragment would be for.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Hadley, Oh, yes, which is which.
- 38:53Speaker 4: The people can make. But yeah, I think part of
- 38:56Speaker 4: the probably the sadness about it, as it seemed to
- 38:58Speaker 4: come out of the blue. But the two all the
- 39:00Speaker 4: talk was that actually he didn't even want to go
- 39:02Speaker 4: on the story fact, he was done after the West Indies,
- 39:05Speaker 4: but he was persuaded to go, and then it became
- 39:07Speaker 4: clear to him that his heart is not in it anymore.
- 39:10Speaker 4: And I think probably and he must feel like that,
- 39:12Speaker 4: right because at the end of this year, there's a
- 39:14Speaker 4: tour to Australia. Yes, after that, there's a couple of
- 39:18Speaker 4: tests against Rolanka back home in New Zealand where he's
- 39:20Speaker 4: playing and would play in Hamilton, which would be where
- 39:23Speaker 4: he grew up, and then also the Bay Oval, which
- 39:25Speaker 4: is where he lives now. So an opportunity to say
- 39:27Speaker 4: goodbye to the New Zealand cricket fans. And that's probably
- 39:30Speaker 4: not so weird about this. He's not injured, but there
- 39:32Speaker 4: is no tests where anybody can say goodbye on He's
- 39:34Speaker 4: just like pulled up stumps. He's done and dusted.
- 39:36Speaker 3: He grew up in tot Ono. By the way, I
- 39:38Speaker 3: played on the same rugby team as him. Very good.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Second five was that right, very good, very good. I
- 39:44Speaker 3: watched him very closely from the bench.
- 39:46Speaker 2: Well, it was very surprising, as you say that he
- 39:48Speaker 2: called it in the middle of the tour in England
- 39:51Speaker 2: and I thought it must be some injury related thing,
- 39:53Speaker 2: but no, he sort of lost his passion and if
- 39:57Speaker 2: came Williamson was known for anything, it was his dedication
- 40:01Speaker 2: to getting better and better and better. He loved training,
- 40:05Speaker 2: he loved going to the nets, and the sort of
- 40:07Speaker 2: inside goss was he sort of woke up one day
- 40:10Speaker 2: and just didn't feel like under the nets anymore, and
- 40:12Speaker 2: so he just went, oh, well, that's me done and
- 40:14Speaker 2: dusted a very weird ending that we don't get to
- 40:18Speaker 2: say goodbye properly at home. Yeah, but he was truly
- 40:22Speaker 2: and he is truly a legend of the game.
- 40:23Speaker 3: And I think about Kine though he's done nothing but
- 40:26Speaker 3: play cricket and be obsessed with cricket for the best
- 40:28Speaker 3: part of thirty years. Yes, because he's in his mid
- 40:30Speaker 3: thirties now and since he could hold a bat and
- 40:32Speaker 3: swing it, that's all he's been obsessed with so thirty years.
- 40:35Speaker 3: And that was the difference between him and everyone else
- 40:38Speaker 3: is while everyone was doing this or that, he was
- 40:40Speaker 3: in the nets just doing the same shot over and
- 40:42Speaker 3: over and over and over and over and sounds pretty
- 40:44Speaker 3: boring if you ask me, and if you ask most people.
- 40:47Speaker 3: But that was what made him so brilliant.
- 40:50Speaker 2: And also you know, when he played county cricket and
- 40:52Speaker 2: played other international teams, he was famous for being in
- 40:56Speaker 2: the air of all their good batsmen. He always wanted
- 40:58Speaker 2: to get information about how to be better, what they did,
- 41:02Speaker 2: what their process was. So he was an absolutely a legend,
- 41:06Speaker 2: is an absolute legend. Just a shame we don't get
- 41:08Speaker 2: to say goodbye at home.
- 41:09Speaker 4: I guess we've got the memories though, Joe, Yeah, we do, mate,
- 41:12Speaker 4: we do. And my probably my favorite memory will be
- 41:15Speaker 4: him and Ross Taylor been out in the middle together
- 41:18Speaker 4: getting the winning runs of the World Tiest Championship, the
- 41:20Speaker 4: All Girl that we won that as I'm so glad
- 41:22Speaker 4: that he got that title. I hear rumors are going
- 41:25Speaker 4: to now turn that into a statue outside the Basement reserve,
- 41:28Speaker 4: which would be a nice touch. And I heard somebody
- 41:30Speaker 4: else say, and I thought it was a good point.
- 41:31Speaker 4: He would be one of the very very few cricketers
- 41:33Speaker 4: in history to retire and not have a single hater.
- 41:38Speaker 4: True cannot hate Kane Williamson. He's a hell of a
- 41:41Speaker 4: bloke and a hell of a cricketer. Shame to see
- 41:43Speaker 4: him go, but what a career.
- 41:44Speaker 2: Well he epitomized that sort of New Zealand kind of
- 41:47Speaker 2: humble fellow, didn't he He was never a big you know,
- 41:50Speaker 2: he wasn't a David Warner sort of leaping in the air, no,
- 41:54Speaker 2: raises back very quietly, thanks everyone, and then get back
- 41:58Speaker 2: into it.
- 41:58Speaker 3: I wouldn't have minded a bit more of that from him.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Just a touch more, nah man, he was who he was. Yeah,
- 42:04Speaker 2: a legend.
- 42:05Speaker 3: I still vividly remember going to the airport after they
- 42:09Speaker 3: came home from the twenty fifteen World Cup final, after
- 42:12Speaker 3: that amazing semi and then this is the ODII World
- 42:16Speaker 3: Cup came home. I was like, first on the ground,
- 42:18Speaker 3: they're working for crogo as world big interview. Kind of
- 42:20Speaker 3: knew him and knew his family from growing up, and
- 42:23Speaker 3: he was just so serious. I had like two three
- 42:25Speaker 3: questions ready to go kind of flat battered them and
- 42:28Speaker 3: it was just like really awkward, right, And I wouldn't
- 42:31Speaker 3: have minded just like a bit of like, you know,
- 42:33Speaker 3: just a but that's that's what made him who he is.
- 42:36Speaker 2: You know, Good on you. Caine william Senior a champion
- 42:40Speaker 2: now listen coming up after six o'clock. Jeez, had a
- 42:43Speaker 2: very spooky thing happened to me today with old John
- 42:46Speaker 2: Campbell Way Spooky.
- 42:52Speaker 1: The whole aching Big Show with j Mike and Kezy.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodiching.
- 42:57Speaker 2: Welcome back him as a backbones hope here Monday. He's
- 43:00Speaker 2: going along very pleasantly. Indeed, you're listening to the Big
- 43:04Speaker 2: Show incidentally brought to you by Reburger.
- 43:07Speaker 3: Serving good times and good food dining or take away
- 43:09Speaker 3: Reburger Today.
- 43:13Speaker 2: Fish is shave because it's Weberger. Yeah, true, an oldie
- 43:19Speaker 2: bit of goodie that one.
- 43:21Speaker 3: What's for tea there, Jason, Bang Bang chicken? Yum?
- 43:24Speaker 2: Yeah? Man?
- 43:25Speaker 4: What makes a bang bang? Well?
- 43:27Speaker 2: I actually because we bought it in a bag and
- 43:31Speaker 2: I said to my wife, well, we should old chicken
- 43:33Speaker 2: a bag. Old chicken has got all the ingredients in
- 43:36Speaker 2: the bag. It's delicious. And I said to my wife, actually,
- 43:38Speaker 2: we should just make it and find a recipe for it. Well,
- 43:42Speaker 2: because you know, maybe it's really simple. It kind of was.
- 43:45Speaker 2: It was like mayonnaise. It was a very weird combination
- 43:48Speaker 2: of ingredients, but mayonnaise mayonnaise. Yeah, it was quite a
- 43:52Speaker 2: big part of it.
- 43:53Speaker 4: For sauce.
- 43:54Speaker 2: No, no for sauce. So yeah, bang bang chicken on
- 43:57Speaker 2: a bed of couscous with roasted vegetables.
- 44:00Speaker 3: Is it a split chicken?
- 44:02Speaker 2: No?
- 44:03Speaker 4: What are you being gutted chicken?
- 44:05Speaker 2: And hopefully it's been gutted?
- 44:06Speaker 4: Yeah? Nice like said, what are you having for?
- 44:10Speaker 3: It's a good question, Keezy.
- 44:11Speaker 4: We've got a couple of food bag type situations there.
- 44:14Speaker 4: I saw there was some might have been some tetakiki.
- 44:18Speaker 4: Maybe it was some snapper. You're going to have to
- 44:20Speaker 4: eat that before it.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Goes off snapper.
- 44:24Speaker 4: Yeah, so I'm not too sure. We'll find out when
- 44:26Speaker 4: I get through the door, mate, But I tell you what, fellows,
- 44:28Speaker 4: it won't be long after that I'll be heading off
- 44:30Speaker 4: to bed. Nicey's suffering.
- 44:34Speaker 3: He's hungover for everyone.
- 44:35Speaker 4: We weren't spoking about that, And I'm mostly I'm mostly
- 44:39Speaker 4: tired because I went to bed. This is the thing.
- 44:41Speaker 4: I was home by seven, I was in bed at nine,
- 44:44Speaker 4: but then I was awake at eleven thirty and I
- 44:46Speaker 4: didn't go back to sleep. So I'm boogered. Yeah, but man,
- 44:50Speaker 4: I got through some darts.
- 44:52Speaker 2: That's good.
- 44:53Speaker 3: What are you eating tonight?
- 44:55Speaker 2: Keezy?
- 44:55Speaker 3: My wife is at home and she has made making
- 44:59Speaker 3: petsa breads with Harissa chicken.
- 45:02Speaker 2: And oh.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Oh yes chicken pickled red onion. I asked, play chicken,
- 45:08Speaker 3: it better be? I see, I basically said, better be.
- 45:10Speaker 3: I think it might be like oven baked thigh or
- 45:12Speaker 3: something which you didn't take out and pull apart and
- 45:13Speaker 3: put on the pitters. But I'm not sure.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Sounds good though, Thank you, No, it sounds really delicious. Hey,
- 45:20Speaker 2: let's get into the jeans again, shall we?

- 46:07Speaker 4: I've got a cat. It's called bird Ship Chris. It
- 46:14Speaker 4: actually came with that sting. When we picked it up,
- 46:17Speaker 4: I already had that sting.
- 46:18Speaker 3: I preferred Tinker, to be honest, if I had to
- 46:20Speaker 3: choose between your two pets so far.
- 46:22Speaker 4: Yeah, but I'll tell you what the the the advantage
- 46:24Speaker 4: that Birdship Chris has got over Tinker is that she's
- 46:27Speaker 4: not dead. Because Tinker, for all of her positive attribute attributes,
- 46:34Speaker 4: is dead. Kesy. So comparing the two, it's like apples
- 46:39Speaker 4: and oranges, chalk and cheese. Now, I was out in
- 46:44Speaker 4: the back yard yesterday doing a bit of Reno's and
- 46:47Speaker 4: that hanging out the washing and I put them on,
- 46:52Speaker 4: put the washing there on a clothes horse. Two clothes
- 46:54Speaker 4: horses we've got. I've got a stable of clothes horses there.
- 47:00Speaker 4: But I was putting it on the lawn there to
- 47:01Speaker 4: try and catch some of that winter sun. And what
- 47:03Speaker 4: do I see all over the lawn but dozens of
- 47:06Speaker 4: cat steamers does And this cat's not even trying, it's
- 47:13Speaker 4: just dropping because a cat will normally bury a poo. Yes,
- 47:16Speaker 4: they want to hide their existence from other cats around
- 47:19Speaker 4: so that they don't know that they're there, you know.
- 47:22Speaker 4: But this cat is just doing more steamers, more often,
- 47:28Speaker 4: more obviously than Tinker you carever used to do.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you're totally You're totally right.
- 47:37Speaker 3: What about Tinker.
- 47:38Speaker 2: No, cat's a genuinely or generally way more meticulous in
- 47:44Speaker 2: terms of covering up their poos. With Jiz at home,
- 47:49Speaker 2: my cat, she spends like twenty minutes covering her poos.
- 47:56Speaker 2: She and it's like, is that a she's got a problem. Man,
- 47:59Speaker 2: She's overly like that. So for a cat to just
- 48:03Speaker 2: randomly drop steamers everywhere, it is very odd behavior.
- 48:08Speaker 4: Yeah. Well I don't think it's random. I think it's
- 48:09Speaker 4: every time she needs to do a steamer, she does one.
- 48:13Speaker 3: Sorry, Jason, what was the name of your cat?
- 48:15Speaker 2: Jeers Jew? You know they often say also, and it's
- 48:22Speaker 2: just occurred to me that pets are often like their owners.
- 48:25Speaker 3: That's what I was thinking.
- 48:27Speaker 2: And you are notorious for your five or six steamers
- 48:30Speaker 2: a day.
- 48:31Speaker 5: Yeah, and.
- 48:33Speaker 4: But only two or three of them on the lawn.
- 48:35Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, But she doesn't have the options that.
- 48:38Speaker 4: You have no, that's true. Well she's you know, as
- 48:42Speaker 4: far as she's concerned. She does because she spent most
- 48:44Speaker 4: of her early life taking dumps on my bed I remember, yes,
- 48:49Speaker 4: and urinating all over my bed as well, up to
- 48:52Speaker 4: three times a week. So I don't really know what
- 48:53Speaker 4: to do because it's bloody disgusting. We had the lord
- 48:57Speaker 4: the guy comes over to mow the lawns today, so
- 48:59Speaker 4: that's sort of sort of out. So maybe I just
- 49:01Speaker 4: need to get the guy over to mow the lawns
- 49:02Speaker 4: every day.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Yeah, well, no, you do what you did with Thinker
- 49:08Speaker 2: and your daughter. You say you wanted a cat's the responsibility?
- 49:14Speaker 4: Yes, thank you.
- 49:16Speaker 2: You're on Pooh Watch. I could rub your face in
- 49:18Speaker 2: it the cat.
- 49:21Speaker 3: No, totally, that's not weird.
- 49:29Speaker 1: Here's mus the Hdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 49:33Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold Archy.
- 49:36Speaker 2: Dixie's there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Monday evening.
- 49:41Speaker 2: The time is six eighty seven. Fellows, let's give out
- 49:43Speaker 2: some advice.
- 49:48Speaker 6: Sixty up.
- 49:50Speaker 3: At gmail dot com get in touch with the fellas.
- 49:55Speaker 3: Do get in touch. It's a great way to get
- 49:57Speaker 3: yourself a prize. If you've read it on the show.
- 49:59Speaker 3: It's hundredercent anonymous as well, and it is a really
- 50:01Speaker 3: mail addressed Meat Padding sixty nine at gmail dot com.
- 50:05Speaker 3: Great stuff, man, you don't want to yell anything or
- 50:07Speaker 3: your all g No, no, I'm all good fellas. Today's
- 50:11Speaker 3: question comes in from anonymous. Oh yeah, good a fellows.
- 50:14Speaker 3: Anonymous here, I've just got a job again. After a
- 50:17Speaker 3: stint of unemployment and casual odd jobs, odd jobs. Now
- 50:23Speaker 3: my income is a bit more consistent. I've decided to
- 50:24Speaker 3: get a gym membership. This was also driven by some
- 50:27Speaker 3: subtle jabs from my misso on my pudginess. I was
- 50:31Speaker 3: wondering if you fellows had any secret tips to get
- 50:34Speaker 3: as fit and chiseled as old Mogi, everything from exercise,
- 50:37Speaker 3: diet and staying consistent. I want to be bursting out
- 50:41Speaker 3: of my white T shirt in a good musty guy way,
- 50:44Speaker 3: not spilling out. Yeah yeah, Anonymous, Nat, Now.
- 50:48Speaker 4: I've got no advice, Moggie, Well, I'm an absolute sack.
- 50:51Speaker 4: I haven't been to the gym for five months, but
- 50:52Speaker 4: I'm still paying my gym membership. Yes, Bak, that's the key,
- 50:55Speaker 4: because what I'm sort of all about is I'm like Oh,
- 50:58Speaker 4: you know what I'm going to do. I'm going to
- 50:59Speaker 4: start tomorrow. Yes, did that over the weekend is I've
- 51:01Speaker 4: got to go to the gym, got to go sauna.
- 51:03Speaker 4: And I said to my wife, I'm not goad, I'm
- 51:07Speaker 4: not gad.
- 51:08Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, what do you do?
- 51:10Speaker 4: Drink all day?
- 51:11Speaker 2: And punched out.
- 51:12Speaker 4: Drink all day and smoked that and let me tell you,
- 51:15Speaker 4: it was magnificent, more.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Fun gym it was back.
- 51:19Speaker 4: Yeah. And then once you get back into it.
- 51:21Speaker 2: I think where I've got into with it is don't
- 51:23Speaker 2: go too.
- 51:24Speaker 4: Hard on it, because you can't go too hard on it,
- 51:27Speaker 4: you know, and become obsessive. And the next thing you know,
- 51:29Speaker 4: your missus is fuman because you're never home. She's been
- 51:33Speaker 4: calling you a fat sack. And then you're never home anymore.
- 51:38Speaker 2: She's like, I miss your fat sack. Yeah.
- 51:42Speaker 3: I remember you saying. Was it a lot of it
- 51:44Speaker 3: about calorie deficits deficit stuff?
- 51:46Speaker 4: If you want to lose weight, Yeah, you got to
- 51:48Speaker 4: be in a calorie deficit keysing, So you've got to
- 51:50Speaker 4: burn more than you put in.
- 51:52Speaker 3: So how many calories does the average male need?
- 51:54Speaker 4: I didn't say twenty three, twenty four hundred A day.
- 51:56Speaker 4: I just to get around the place. Yeah, so if
- 51:58Speaker 4: you drop that down to you only give yourself seventeen
- 52:01Speaker 4: hundred wow.
- 52:02Speaker 3: Place you're exercising and then you eat foods that make
- 52:04Speaker 3: you full for longer?
- 52:05Speaker 4: Is that right? Make you feel full of longer protein?
- 52:07Speaker 4: You want to be high in proteins. Anyway, this is
- 52:09Speaker 4: all still pretty boring. How many but I would I
- 52:12Speaker 4: would go just get into the habit of gown you'll
- 52:14Speaker 4: feel good. You reckon two weeks. It takes two weeks
- 52:16Speaker 4: before you see a result and then makes you see
- 52:19Speaker 4: a result that you keep on going. But most people
- 52:21Speaker 4: will give up in that first two weeks.
- 52:23Speaker 2: How many calories do you reckon? You're pumping a day? Keasy?
- 52:27Speaker 3: I love how I'm pumping them like. I don't just
- 52:30Speaker 3: consume them like the normle of it.
- 52:31Speaker 2: I pump them.
- 52:32Speaker 4: I just pumping them into yourself.
- 52:34Speaker 3: I don't know, well, I very really have breakfast, Yeah right,
- 52:38Speaker 3: sound good? And then I eat lunch at sort of
- 52:40Speaker 3: one or two o'clock in the afternoon.
- 52:42Speaker 4: Do you have a little snack before that?
- 52:44Speaker 6: Though?
- 52:44Speaker 3: You're not eating all the way to coffee and drink water?
- 52:46Speaker 4: Is that right?
- 52:47Speaker 3: Most days? Unless I've got like a podcast or it
- 52:51Speaker 3: is something that I have to do in the morning
- 52:52Speaker 3: that requires brain power. Then I'll have a cereal or
- 52:55Speaker 3: porridge or something I don't know. But then I always
- 52:57Speaker 3: have a big lunch at the big dinner. So I
- 52:59Speaker 3: reckon four thousand. What about you? Jay's like, what three hundred?
- 53:04Speaker 3: You have a cracker with a tomato wackle and you
- 53:06Speaker 3: come here and steal chips every day from the acc
- 53:09Speaker 3: and eat those? How many there would be like two
- 53:12Speaker 3: thousand calories?
- 53:12Speaker 4: Would plenty?
- 53:13Speaker 2: Inaccurate?
- 53:14Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 53:14Speaker 2: Well I was because I remember when I was getting
- 53:18Speaker 2: a bit obsessed with the gym, and this is a
- 53:20Speaker 2: long time ago, and I was free this year because
- 53:23Speaker 2: it was like a coffee at a last it was
- 53:26Speaker 2: like six hundred calories or something, and I was like,
- 53:28Speaker 2: what yeah, and you go to the gym and you
- 53:31Speaker 2: burn like three hundred calories and you go, oh yeah,
- 53:34Speaker 2: So if I'm having ten coffees a day, that's six
- 53:37Speaker 2: thousand calories.
- 53:38Speaker 3: How much? How many calories do you reckon that peanut
- 53:40Speaker 3: butter milkshaker yoursers?
- 53:41Speaker 2: Oh, that would be pumping it because they do like
- 53:44Speaker 2: the wepped cream on top of Yeah, it is so
- 53:49Speaker 2: good man, But at the same time.
- 53:51Speaker 3: Man like it's all about balancing.
- 53:53Speaker 4: Yeah, I would be concerned that your missus doesn't love
- 53:55Speaker 4: you the way that you are get that is an
- 53:58Speaker 4: issue too. I would cancel the gym membership and.
- 54:01Speaker 3: Break up with her back padic the relationship.
- 54:03Speaker 2: Absolutely, Yeah shocking, body shaming.
- 54:07Speaker 3: Don't you miss not cool?
- 54:09Speaker 2: Man? Yeah? Man not cool.
- 54:10Speaker 3: Hey, don't forget me Patty E sixty nine at gmail

- 54:55Speaker 2: and Michael Caine and it was horifict racist.
- 55:01Speaker 4: That's why you watched it. You're talking about the good
- 55:04Speaker 4: old days.
- 55:05Speaker 3: Daniel Drevett and Peachey Karen and Krahan, two former British
- 55:09Speaker 3: soldiers in India. Yeah, I decided to travel to Kaferistan,
- 55:14Speaker 3: where no white man has ventured in a long time
- 55:16Speaker 3: and rule as kings.
- 55:18Speaker 4: Wow, you feel like you.
- 55:20Speaker 3: Typed into chat GPT holidays and then said what kind
- 55:23Speaker 3: of movie will I dream movie? Yeah, that's what happened.
- 55:27Speaker 2: As I have to say, the chemistry between Michael Caine
- 55:32Speaker 2: and Sean Conner was very good. Really, they really came
- 55:35Speaker 2: across as good old chums, right, good old chum.
- 55:40Speaker 3: What about all the racist stuff?
- 55:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that was shocking. It's terrible.
- 55:43Speaker 3: Yeah, but they are a good chump.
- 55:45Speaker 2: Bogie.
- 55:45Speaker 4: You're off to bed probably, man, I'll go home, he
- 55:48Speaker 4: with dinner, go to toy to the house a little
- 55:50Speaker 4: bit to be honest. Yeah, but yeah, she'll definitely be
- 55:52Speaker 4: an early one tonight. I am looking forward to it.
- 55:54Speaker 4: Finally got the flannel sheets on the bed, yes night.
- 55:57Speaker 4: I haven't been doing that. It's been it's been bloody warm,
- 56:01Speaker 4: too bloody warm, middle of winter. Men middle of winter, Keasy.
- 56:04Speaker 3: Said about have you got your flannel sheets on me?
- 56:07Speaker 3: I don't have flannel sheets, you know, No, I just
- 56:09Speaker 3: got the cotton. But we put the warmer douvet on
- 56:13Speaker 3: clip together. Do you know one bit of douveate in
- 56:17Speaker 3: a is for summer?
- 56:20Speaker 2: We do?
- 56:20Speaker 3: You stay one of those the other ones winter, and
- 56:22Speaker 3: then you clip them together when winter's coming. But it's
- 56:24Speaker 3: nice and big.
- 56:24Speaker 2: And you wear your onesie to bed anyway.
- 56:27Speaker 4: So you must wear night back door.
- 56:30Speaker 3: I've got to button up back door. But to be honest, man,
- 56:32Speaker 3: it's usually spends more time down than it does up
- 56:39Speaker 3: the back door there.
- 56:40Speaker 2: It must be a real add in the nightmare at
- 56:42Speaker 2: midnight for you.
- 56:43Speaker 3: No, I've got it done to a fine art when
- 56:45Speaker 3: you do it nightly like I do ja. Tonight, I'm
- 56:48Speaker 3: going to go and watch Broken Wood. Oh yeah, the
- 56:50Speaker 3: episode from last night where apparently Jason's character played a
- 56:53Speaker 3: huge role. I've never watched Broken Wood. I'm scared to
- 56:55Speaker 3: watch it, and I'll be giving a review tomorrow.
- 56:57Speaker 4: I to watch it as well, but it's ninety minutes
- 56:59Speaker 4: long and I need to nice.
- 57:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
