- 0:03Speaker 1: Enough enough.
- 0:05Speaker 2: I don't have any high serio suck and we hold

- 0:11Speaker 3: Excuse me while I whip this out.
- 0:15Speaker 4: Broadcasting live in Atlanta, Georgia. This this is the Sports

- 0:26Speaker 1: me down? Against you?
- 0:28Speaker 3: Frank me down? Dot com to flame, come to cage?
- 0:32Speaker 3: Yet it comes to Mark?
- 0:33Speaker 1: Is it just down? I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna
- 0:40Speaker 1: go on the way.
- 0:40Speaker 3: You may pill began. Welcome, welcome, welcome. If you get here,
- 0:47Speaker 3: my voice it's already gone. Now it's a little coal
- 0:51Speaker 3: here in the air. And like most of you in
- 0:55Speaker 3: the Atlanta area, uh now, really not sure what do
- 1:00Speaker 3: with your thermostat? Are you? You don't know what to
- 1:02Speaker 3: put it on. You're up about four or five times
- 1:05Speaker 3: just trying to figure it out. You go into room
- 1:07Speaker 3: on one temperature, you leave it on another temperature. It's
- 1:11Speaker 3: that time of the year they call it fall. But
- 1:14Speaker 3: if you're from Atlanta, if you live in Atlanta, you
- 1:17Speaker 3: know here we get all four seasons in one day.
- 1:21Speaker 3: It starts off as winter, then you move into fall,
- 1:25Speaker 3: then it goes into summer, then it goes into spring
- 1:28Speaker 3: and then it's back to winter all in the same day.
- 1:30Speaker 3: You do have to actually layer up then layer down
- 1:35Speaker 3: in this city. But we're glad to be here with you.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I got the fun bunch here this morning. Mister North
- 1:43Speaker 3: Carolina in the building, mister Chicago in the building, mister
- 1:48Speaker 3: Oklahoma in the building as well. Command you Yeah, what
- 1:56Speaker 3: what's the eighty ounces? Their command chie with shah de
- 2:00Speaker 3: eighty ounces? Now that all she weigh after all the
- 2:02Speaker 3: drug use.
- 2:05Speaker 5: No, this is uh. It's a series called eighties with
- 2:10Speaker 5: a Z.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Oh, it's a foolishness ads z ds with a ZZ.
- 2:20Speaker 6: So he's spelled z. He spelled eighties like they would
- 2:24Speaker 6: in the two thousand?
- 2:25Speaker 3: Is that your new Is that your new winter line?
- 2:29Speaker 5: It's not mine?
- 2:30Speaker 3: Okay, okay, okay, Well where can we get some of
- 2:33Speaker 3: these eighties with a Z?
- 2:37Speaker 5: It's a company called uh Served Fresh. They're based in Atlanta.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Served Fresh Okay, sounds like a grocery store or something
- 2:45Speaker 3: like that. And the bad producer in here. You're dropping
- 2:52Speaker 3: your red neck line soon?
- 2:54Speaker 7: Right?
- 2:54Speaker 3: Oh yeah? Okay for all those people? And was that
- 2:57Speaker 3: redneck dot com?
- 2:59Speaker 8: Oh no, no, we're gonna what I'm working on the
- 3:03Speaker 8: name and we'll get with Kenny in no, you're not,
- 3:07Speaker 8: don't do that.
- 3:09Speaker 9: Sew just drunk it, quiet and passive and he just
- 3:14Speaker 9: releasing a racist line of clothing and wants me to
- 3:19Speaker 9: collaborate with him on that.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Thank you. For years now, Big Kenny's line has been out.
- 3:24Speaker 3: If you've seen people walking around with the d o
- 3:27Speaker 3: Pe gear on gear, that is, that's Big Kenny in
- 3:30Speaker 3: the air, in your veins, you know, just just on
- 3:33Speaker 3: your back. However, you can get ventured at him and
- 3:37Speaker 3: Dwight Gooding started back in the late eighties. Hall of famers,
- 3:41Speaker 3: both in respective games. But welcome, it is Monday, it
- 3:47Speaker 3: is time Monday Night football, the Giants invading the Steel City.
- 3:53Speaker 3: I'm not sure how greater game this will be for
- 3:57Speaker 3: the Giants offense going against that still curtain up there
- 4:01Speaker 3: in Pittsburgh, but the Giants are desperate, so you imagine
- 4:07Speaker 3: that everything will be on the board for them tonight
- 4:11Speaker 3: as far as trying to make plays down the field.
- 4:14Speaker 3: A lot of criticisms starting to come the way of
- 4:16Speaker 3: Daniel Jones and the head coach up there at the ball,
- 4:20Speaker 3: so we will see what the Giants can do against
- 4:23Speaker 3: Russell Wilson and the Pittsburgh stillers tonight as well. In
- 4:28Speaker 3: New York, the Dodgers and the Yankees Game three, the
- 4:35Speaker 3: Dodgers are up to zero. And for all you fans
- 4:41Speaker 3: that wanted the cheap victory, because you know fans now
- 4:46Speaker 3: will take the victory, they really do pray for your downfall.
- 4:49Speaker 3: They don't want, they don't care to beat the team
- 4:54Speaker 3: at its best. They actually want to catch your team
- 4:59Speaker 3: when you got hurt players, when you got players that
- 5:02Speaker 3: are out nagging injuries, they don't want to win from
- 5:07Speaker 3: the standpoint of best on best. So they really were playing,
- 5:13Speaker 3: I mean, excuse me, praying that show he atany would
- 5:17Speaker 3: miss tonight's action. They're really hoping that his shoulder is
- 5:21Speaker 3: hurt and that he can't perform. That's how the fan
- 5:24Speaker 3: bases work now. It used to have this idea, I
- 5:28Speaker 3: want all the stars. Remember when the Celtics and the
- 5:32Speaker 3: Lakers used to be battling in the eighties. Yes, you
- 5:35Speaker 3: wanted that everybody to show up.
- 5:37Speaker 6: When Bird was uncertain for Game three, everybody was like,
- 5:41Speaker 6: oh man, it ain't really no game.
- 5:44Speaker 3: They should have lost. That kind of thing. There was
- 5:47Speaker 3: a pride in besting the most dominant opponent. It was
- 5:54Speaker 3: a weakness to have won a championship against a team
- 5:58Speaker 3: without it Star Celebrate. Then you took it and you
- 6:02Speaker 3: appreciated it and all the hard work, but it kind
- 6:05Speaker 3: of watered it down a little bit when the person
- 6:09Speaker 3: that you really wanted the battle was not there. So
- 6:13Speaker 3: in that situation, show Ya Tani seems like he will
- 6:16Speaker 3: give it a go tonight for the Dodgers. The Dodgers
- 6:20Speaker 3: are two and oh, the series that people have been
- 6:23Speaker 3: waiting on is here. The bad Producer who is a
- 6:28Speaker 3: part time kind of like ice Cube, have Ye part
- 6:32Speaker 3: time Yankee, part time, Brave part time whoever Dion Sanders
- 6:37Speaker 3: is coaching kind of guy. So you know what y'all
- 6:41Speaker 3: gonna do tonight? Bad producer gotta stop fred Freddy Freeman
- 6:46Speaker 3: for one thing with that bat. But I don't know, man,
- 6:49Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 6:50Speaker 8: Hopefully the October, the Ghost of the Bronx and all
- 6:53Speaker 8: those memories of New York and what they do with
- 6:56Speaker 8: baseball during this time of the year can stir up
- 7:00Speaker 8: call you're calling on the ancest calling on the spirits,
- 7:02Speaker 8: man praying what.
- 7:03Speaker 3: About just live people like Aaron Jubbe. Now we're praying
- 7:06Speaker 3: to we need the gods, We need the spirits standing down.
- 7:09Speaker 3: You don't want the actual guys that's going on. No,
- 7:12Speaker 3: they're gonna go on the field, but we're praying to
- 7:14Speaker 3: them spirits come. See.
- 7:16Speaker 6: This is this is something I have a problem with
- 7:19Speaker 6: you being a Falcons fan and anything else fan. You
- 7:22Speaker 6: taking that Falcons mentality into the Yankees game that we're
- 7:26Speaker 6: gonna call on anything.
- 7:28Speaker 3: The Yankees.
- 7:30Speaker 8: Leitmate twenty seven titles. But what I'm saying you need
- 7:35Speaker 8: that channel, that energy, that spirit of winning in the
- 7:39Speaker 8: Bronx and Yankee Stadium needs to come. That energy, not
- 7:42Speaker 8: to giving up the bringing the man giving up a
- 7:45Speaker 8: home run Grand Slam. That's not marianno Vera. That's not
- 7:48Speaker 8: Goose gossip. That's not Yankee baseball man. Man, that was
- 7:52Speaker 8: Oh my god, that was I don't even want.
- 7:54Speaker 6: To talk about give up grand This dude, this dude
- 7:59Speaker 6: on the podcast said, I don't even want to.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Well, he's speaking on it. He's speaking on it as
- 8:07Speaker 3: though they gave up a Grand Slam to nobody, Nobody.
- 8:14Speaker 3: They gave up a graand Slam to Freddie Freeman.
- 8:17Speaker 6: Freddie Freeman, Freddy Freeman now and Freddy Freeman's won world.
- 8:24Speaker 3: If they had given it up to Freddy Walker, Freddy Jackson. See,
- 8:30Speaker 3: those would have been different circumstances. You know, No, I don't.
- 8:35Speaker 3: And that's exactly the point.
- 8:37Speaker 6: Nobody knows Freddie Walker or if he did the Grand Slam,
- 8:40Speaker 6: then it would have been one of those how could you?
- 8:42Speaker 6: But we're talking about Freddy Freeman, who's already World Series Champion.
- 8:46Speaker 6: Now this isn't brand new territory for him. He knows
- 8:49Speaker 6: what he's doing.
- 8:49Speaker 8: That's why I'm saying that that doesn't it didn't make
- 8:52Speaker 8: sense with the picture when.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Sometimes the opponent shows up to play too bad. Producer
- 8:58Speaker 3: well Tonight Dodd in New York taking on the Yankees
- 9:03Speaker 3: these three games, if there are three games that the
- 9:07Speaker 3: Yankees will host, they will be in New York tonight,
- 9:12Speaker 3: Tomorrow night, and Wednesday. So New York has two win
- 9:18Speaker 3: at least two of these three to send it back
- 9:21Speaker 3: to LA on Friday night, or the Dodgers and their
- 9:27Speaker 3: fan based a lot of stars out for them this
- 9:30Speaker 3: weekend to see the Dodgers play. And that's why I
- 9:34Speaker 3: brought up the reference with ice Cube. A lot of
- 9:37Speaker 3: people criticizing Cube, the Great actor, the great music producer,
- 9:42Speaker 3: the great music artist. For he came out to the
- 9:46Speaker 3: game and Dodgers gear. But there was footage and in
- 9:54Speaker 3: the world of technology, now whatever you used to do,
- 9:58Speaker 3: people will make it current. Back in the ninety early nineties,
- 10:03Speaker 3: he was viewed at a New York performance in all
- 10:08Speaker 3: Yankees gear. And I think it was ninety two that
- 10:12Speaker 3: some kind of New York maybe the Apollo and he
- 10:15Speaker 3: was in a Yankee hat, Yankee jerseys, and the Dodger
- 10:19Speaker 3: fans have taken exception to Cube doing that, so they
- 10:24Speaker 3: don't understand why you're in Dodgers gear.
- 10:28Speaker 5: Similar to how we look over Why didn't he wear
- 10:31Speaker 5: Dodgers gear in New York.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Well that's how the diehards would do it.
- 10:38Speaker 8: But most artists, but most risk, but most artists, when
- 10:42Speaker 8: they go to a town, they'll try to put on
- 10:44Speaker 8: a hat or whatever that team. I mean, that's something
- 10:46Speaker 8: that artists have done through the years.
- 10:49Speaker 6: Yeah, I performed at an AKA convention and war pink
- 10:53Speaker 6: and Cream, So I did. I did.
- 10:57Speaker 10: So.
- 10:57Speaker 6: I mean, I don't know if that makes me, but
- 11:00Speaker 6: I'm just saying maybe he was just look, I'm in
- 11:03Speaker 6: New York.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Wasn't that deep?
- 11:05Speaker 6: In the time when they was doing the East Coast
- 11:07Speaker 6: West Coast beef ice keeper was trying to be safe.
- 11:10Speaker 3: So if Michael Jordan goes to a duke event, he's
- 11:14Speaker 3: supposed to wear a duke T shirt. I wasn't nobody
- 11:19Speaker 3: wasn't nobody. I'm just trying to get where y'all gonna
- 11:22Speaker 3: draw the line. I mean, he goes to a duke event,
- 11:27Speaker 3: why everybody go quiet? And this is what y'all was
- 11:29Speaker 3: just saying. He was at the Apollo Ballroom. You're right
- 11:32Speaker 3: in nineteen ninety two, is Michael George's supposed to go
- 11:34Speaker 3: to a duke event and gear?
- 11:36Speaker 11: No?
- 11:36Speaker 3: No, Michael George's not supposed to. Okay, then then you
- 11:40Speaker 3: understand what the Dodger fans are saying. Man, the Dodgers
- 11:44Speaker 3: fan been with. Was that that that that he has
- 11:49Speaker 3: to or was this before they adopted the Raiders gear.
- 11:53Speaker 6: Maybe that was in an effort to silent wear in
- 11:57Speaker 6: LA right, That's what I'm saying, and maybe he just decided, Man,
- 12:00Speaker 6: going forward, I'm just gonna do all Raiders. I'm not
- 12:03Speaker 6: gonna do baseball sometimes, because they also said that he
- 12:06Speaker 6: wore an Orioles.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Uh, get up one time, and there was another outfit
- 12:13Speaker 3: that he wore. All right, well, we got a great
- 12:15Speaker 3: show for you today, NBA, w NBA College Football, that
- 12:20Speaker 3: and much more and cash cows. We gotta make sure
- 12:23Speaker 3: we're talking about Brandon Jennings and retiring because he felt
- 12:28Speaker 3: like a cash cow to his family and friends. We'll

- 12:32Speaker 3: after this. Sam, it feels good to beat the domes straight.

- 14:27Speaker 16: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 14:31Speaker 16: two year old and a nine year old on my
- 14:33Speaker 16: own I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes
- 14:36Speaker 16: where pride gets in the way and they may want
- 14:39Speaker 16: the help, they may not know how to ask. With
- 14:42Speaker 16: my traditions, with the family support in line, and just
- 14:46Speaker 16: with my mind frame, I was able to turn a
- 14:49Speaker 16: negative into a positive. I knew I needed more tools
- 14:52Speaker 16: in my toolbox to take care of these little girls
- 14:56Speaker 16: that had just lost their mother. It's time for me
- 14:58Speaker 16: to be that father that I knew I could be.
- 15:00Speaker 16: I think just being that good role model as well,
- 15:04Speaker 16: that model's good behavior in front of them, going to
- 15:06Speaker 16: work every day, coming home and being able to put
- 15:09Speaker 16: on that smile. The biggest reward about being a dad
- 15:13Speaker 16: is sitting back and watching your kids be happy.
- 15:17Speaker 17: Never stop being a dad.
- 15:19Speaker 18: That's dedication.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Find out more on Fatherhood dot gov.

- 15:46Speaker 3: Just taking it to a completely different level this.
- 15:49Speaker 4: Year where we highlight an accolete that has taken their
- 15:52Speaker 4: game to the next level.
- 16:02Speaker 6: You know how we.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Side the west side.
- 16:14Speaker 11: A going on.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Welcome back to the Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sports
- 16:18Speaker 3: Shock wing Gandy.
- 16:18Speaker 11: See.
- 16:19Speaker 3: That's what I'm talking about. Bad But so you save
- 16:20Speaker 3: you from the East, you say you from the south,
- 16:23Speaker 3: but then you want to throw up the doves. You
- 16:25Speaker 3: know you you confused, you confused. It's all right, fifty
- 16:30Speaker 3: five years of confusion. You still ain't figured it out.
- 16:33Speaker 3: But I don't get it going up the doves. The
- 16:37Speaker 3: west side of Caroline. I'm on the western part of
- 16:39Speaker 3: the state, the.
- 16:40Speaker 6: West side of the North CAI western side asked me
- 16:43Speaker 6: where I live in It's the west and it's the
- 16:45Speaker 6: east in the central and I do excuse me, I
- 16:48Speaker 6: got anyway at halftime.
- 16:50Speaker 3: I mean, well, during the intermission we would confer.
- 16:53Speaker 6: It's the west the I don't even have interstate highways
- 16:57Speaker 6: and I'm on the western part of the state.
- 16:59Speaker 3: The west western side of North Carolina is called Tennessee.
- 17:08Speaker 6: Released beverage through my nose. All in the west coast
- 17:13Speaker 6: of Green hairline states. All in the west, you ever,
- 17:18Speaker 6: you ever? Just you ever just realized, Man, I was wrong.
- 17:23Speaker 3: No, I'm not wrong on that Western Yeah, he just
- 17:27Speaker 3: made that up right there, you know. And people do
- 17:30Speaker 3: just be lying to people.
- 17:31Speaker 6: I was about saying, people that don't really be going
- 17:33Speaker 6: along with what you're saying, just be listening to you,
- 17:36Speaker 6: Like man, this dude, no.
- 17:37Speaker 3: One question I have to ask before we get going.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Uh that's not about sports, is why are they trying
- 17:46Speaker 3: to let the men Dez brothers out of jail and
- 17:49Speaker 3: somebody then Lyle and Joel kill them? People? Listen, Sorry,
- 17:54Speaker 3: sensibilities have changed.
- 17:56Speaker 5: I feel sorry for him changed.
- 17:59Speaker 3: They're there's no sensibility and feel sorry those brothers murdered
- 18:03Speaker 3: their mother and father. These people with that are They
- 18:08Speaker 3: shot the dad so bad that they couldn't recognize who
- 18:12Speaker 3: they had killed when they walked in the room. They
- 18:14Speaker 3: shot him six times with a shotgun. They shot the
- 18:18Speaker 3: mother ten times with a shotgun. They shot her so
- 18:23Speaker 3: much that one of them ran outside back to the
- 18:25Speaker 3: car to get some AMMO. So what part is sensible
- 18:31Speaker 3: and what part should I feel compassion for?
- 18:33Speaker 5: People with that are new to the story because this
- 18:37Speaker 5: was over thirty years ago, right, So I think it's
- 18:42Speaker 5: people who are new to the story.
- 18:43Speaker 3: The story ain't changed the story.
- 18:49Speaker 5: And it's people who are under thirty who like, oh, well,
- 18:56Speaker 5: you know they were being abused or.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Said who say that being abused? They say they said
- 19:02Speaker 3: they were being mister and missus. I'm tired them on
- 19:07Speaker 3: that side.
- 19:08Speaker 5: It's like, oh, well, you know, it's kind of determined, like,
- 19:13Speaker 5: oh did they deserve it? Did the parents deserve what happened?
- 19:17Speaker 3: We can't practic I just wanted to know why y'all
- 19:21Speaker 3: trying to This is what.
- 19:22Speaker 11: It is now.
- 19:23Speaker 5: And because of a California law that because they were
- 19:27Speaker 5: under the age of twenty six that a life sentence
- 19:31Speaker 5: is twenty five years or so, they should be out Listen, sir.
- 19:36Speaker 3: What it really is.
- 19:36Speaker 5: But the parents, the parents are still dead, Yes, still dead.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Shot what was it?
- 19:41Speaker 6: Eight and six eight and ten times ten, ten and
- 19:44Speaker 6: six times shotgun? With shotguns? This is the thing ran
- 19:47Speaker 6: out to the car. You ever seen the shotgun blast?
- 19:50Speaker 3: Something I have, sir, which is trust me.
- 19:53Speaker 6: If anybody knows carnage, uh and and gun violence up close,
- 19:57Speaker 6: I've seen far too much.
- 19:58Speaker 3: And I'm saying this. The man at the gun rangs
- 20:01Speaker 3: told me with a shotgun, give the people a chance,
- 20:06Speaker 3: open the door a little bit, stick it out and
- 20:08Speaker 3: just cock it.
- 20:09Speaker 6: And let them be on some Hey, hey, make a
- 20:12Speaker 6: safer decision.
- 20:13Speaker 3: And this is the thing, sensibilities have changed.
- 20:16Speaker 6: Back thirty one thirty two years ago, if you kill somebody,
- 20:20Speaker 6: no matter what had happened to you, you made a
- 20:22Speaker 6: conscious decision to kill somebody. Now we live in a
- 20:25Speaker 6: time where I can do something and it's not my fault.
- 20:29Speaker 6: It's your fault for you teasing me and making me
- 20:32Speaker 6: feel uncomfortable. And so instead of doing something to you,
- 20:36Speaker 6: I went and did something to twenty other people, and
- 20:38Speaker 6: we excuse that.
- 20:39Speaker 3: So now those sensibilities are the eyes that are on
- 20:43Speaker 3: this case. Monday Night Football, the Giants and the Stellers.
- 20:46Speaker 3: As I spoke about earlier tonight, the Manning cast will
- 20:50Speaker 3: be on. Bill Belichick has been joining Peyton Manning and
- 20:54Speaker 3: Eli Manning. The interesting part of this and without a doubt,
- 21:03Speaker 3: maybe the best football player period. That's that's how great
- 21:09Speaker 3: this man is. Out of North Carolina. Fear. I never
- 21:16Speaker 3: got to play against him, but I've talked to plenty
- 21:18Speaker 3: of tackles that have and they went to the line
- 21:24Speaker 3: with raw fear that five to six from New York
- 21:30Speaker 3: was gonna come off the edge now if you ain't
- 21:32Speaker 3: figured out North Carolina, New York five to six and
- 21:36Speaker 3: who I'm talking about in fear Left tackles, right tackles.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Nobody wants to see this man on a football You
- 21:45Speaker 3: got initials. He is supposed to be joining Eli and
- 21:51Speaker 3: Peyton on with Bill Belichick on The Manning Cash tonight.
- 21:58Speaker 3: And I wanted no space seek because this is an
- 22:01Speaker 3: ESPN thing, and we've seen ESPN be in the news
- 22:04Speaker 3: for firing people for all assortments of things that have
- 22:09Speaker 3: nothing to do with their job. Lawrence Taylor, the legend
- 22:16Speaker 3: that he is, is a registered sex offender. And I know,
- 22:27Speaker 3: oh well, it's only a level one, low risk sex offender.
- 22:34Speaker 3: But should we be giving the mic to the sex
- 22:39Speaker 3: offender who has to declare when he even moves to
- 22:44Speaker 3: a new neighborhood. Should we be interviewing and interacting on
- 22:55Speaker 3: national broadcast with that person. We'll talk about when we
- 23:01Speaker 3: come back from break. More to Sports Shock Show in
- 23:04Speaker 3: a minute in a mother shop better known as a
- 23:10Speaker 3: thing some we all want to cut our hands, don't

- 23:38Speaker 19: capacity to focus on one thing at a time, So

- 25:58Speaker 3: Never Welcome back to the Sportshock Show. I'm the Sportshock
- 26:11Speaker 3: Wing Gamey. Good morning to you out there listening. Land
- 26:13Speaker 3: commands you, Greg McKinney, the funny Man himself, and the
- 26:16Speaker 3: Bappa duos in the building with me this morning. We
- 26:20Speaker 3: left talking about Monday Night football. The Giants headed to
- 26:23Speaker 3: Pittsburgh tonight for Monday Night only one Monday Night game
- 26:28Speaker 3: on Tap and the Manning Cast, something that comes on
- 26:32Speaker 3: ESPN two. I have really never tuned in to watch it,
- 26:38Speaker 3: but I guess some people like to watch the game
- 26:41Speaker 3: while the Mannings are watching the game on the Manning Cast,
- 26:44Speaker 3: which is an interesting perspective. But Eli and Peyton have
- 26:48Speaker 3: definitely taken the sports entertainment world by storm and making
- 26:53Speaker 3: a true name for themselves. Tonight, which this season they've
- 26:57Speaker 3: had Coach Belichick on several times, they will be letting
- 27:05Speaker 3: Lawrence Taylor, the Great Giants Great, join them on this broadcast.
- 27:11Speaker 3: As I spoke about colorful characters all around in fl
- 27:17Speaker 3: none more than Lawrence Taylor. The greatness of him can
- 27:22Speaker 3: only be described as fear on a football field, but
- 27:26Speaker 3: in Lawrence Taylor's off the field and ticks, he has
- 27:30Speaker 3: drawn a lot of ires from a lot of people.
- 27:34Speaker 3: So my question was, gentlemen, and I'm not speaking on
- 27:41Speaker 3: necessarily once you do your time, that's your time. But
- 27:44Speaker 3: in a forum like this, should Eli Payton, ESPN, Bill
- 27:52Speaker 3: Belichick have Lawrence Taylor on this podcast or this Manning
- 27:59Speaker 3: cast as they nick Kenny?
- 28:06Speaker 11: I uh.
- 28:09Speaker 6: In most of these situations, I come from a position
- 28:13Speaker 6: of trying to explain why he shouldn't be now there.
- 28:17Speaker 6: This is these two things, business and moral. So from
- 28:21Speaker 6: a business point of view, he is football, he knows football.
- 28:25Speaker 6: From a moral point of view, our our justice system
- 28:30Speaker 6: is set up on redemption and forgiveness and paying your
- 28:33Speaker 6: debt to society.
- 28:34Speaker 3: He's done that. He didn't dodge any of his history.
- 28:38Speaker 6: He's paid his debt to society and made his amends
- 28:41Speaker 6: as best he could. This is his livelihood. What are
- 28:44Speaker 6: we supposed to prevent him from ever working again. We
- 28:47Speaker 6: are in a different time now where we let any
- 28:49Speaker 6: and everything else on TV. So you are okay giving
- 28:54Speaker 6: the sex offender who bally your daughter tickets to the concert?
- 29:04Speaker 6: For first, first, and foremost, my child has never been violated,
- 29:08Speaker 6: So I can't make that.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Well, no, you can. Fifty years, let us we have
- 29:14Speaker 3: a running for president. You can imagine. Yeah, give him
- 29:18Speaker 3: tickets to the concert, so keep him out. I personally,
- 29:22Speaker 3: I wouldn't give.
- 29:23Speaker 6: Him, but if they sold tickets, said saying, if they
- 29:26Speaker 6: were personally, I'm saying, we're talking about and Peyton's show
- 29:29Speaker 6: that's not personnel.
- 29:31Speaker 3: At me is not going to get me to understand
- 29:32Speaker 3: what you're saying. And I'm asking you personally, it's the
- 29:35Speaker 3: man who violates your daughter, You're going to offer two
- 29:40Speaker 3: tickets to the show that that's Apples and Orgies Peyton's dog. Well,
- 29:48Speaker 3: anytime you're looking for the resolution into something you do
- 29:54Speaker 3: under others as you would like others to do under you, Right,
- 29:57Speaker 3: So that's a question that you're bringing. You're bringing somebody
- 30:00Speaker 3: the daughter, the guy that violated somebody's daughter. I wouldn't
- 30:06Speaker 3: if I knew Big Kenny was coming invite the guy
- 30:09Speaker 3: that violated Big Kenny's daughter.
- 30:12Speaker 6: His situation represented herself as so older not bad comand you, Greg.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Uh, it's.
- 30:24Speaker 5: As far as invited. It's hard to like kind of
- 30:27Speaker 5: to separate his career from what's happened off the field.
- 30:33Speaker 5: And I think he's being brought on because there's probably
- 30:36Speaker 5: a big enough audience that doesn't even know that about him,
- 30:42Speaker 5: and with Belichick, with him being a star in sports,
- 30:47Speaker 5: media now and he's talked about how much he loves
- 30:50Speaker 5: LT that, Yeah, let's let's bring on LT. And you
- 30:55Speaker 5: don't see him a lot on these kind of shows
- 30:59Speaker 5: or to talk about football. We always only hear about
- 31:02Speaker 5: him when he's gotten in trouble.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Payn and Eli bring up his registered sex offending tonight.
- 31:12Speaker 5: They could if they wanted to, but I don't think
- 31:16Speaker 5: they will because it's not that format. That's this isn't
- 31:22Speaker 5: the situation in which they would do it.
- 31:24Speaker 3: And so you're bringing I know you're a North Carolina guy.
- 31:26Speaker 3: Where do you stand on that?
- 31:27Speaker 1: Oh?
- 31:27Speaker 3: I think he should be there to be able to
- 31:29Speaker 3: talk football because I watched. That's all I need to know.
- 31:31Speaker 12: I got you.
- 31:33Speaker 3: You ask for opinion, but I think sometimes you looking
- 31:36Speaker 3: for agreement. No, I don't look for That's what I'm saying.
- 31:39Speaker 3: You see, like me inviting the person who rapes y'all daughters,
- 31:47Speaker 3: you would feel some kind of way of me inviting
- 31:49Speaker 3: them on the show. So I run this show and
- 31:54Speaker 3: I get to make a choice of who comes to
- 31:56Speaker 3: sit and interview, and if I know Tom Davis rape
- 32:02Speaker 3: Big Kenny or bad Producer's daughter, and then I bring
- 32:05Speaker 3: him in here Thursday and sit him there. That's wrong.
- 32:12Speaker 3: And I tell you, well, he served his time. That
- 32:15Speaker 3: doesn't take away that he raped your daughter. And so
- 32:18Speaker 3: I don't look for agreement. I was just wondering a sensibility.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Your answer, Your answer goes along with today's society. And
- 32:28Speaker 3: that's why Donald Trump gets to run for president, because
- 32:32Speaker 3: people have decided to slide everything to the side and
- 32:37Speaker 3: still let things like.
- 32:38Speaker 21: This go on.
- 32:41Speaker 3: There is no admonishment of your crime. Just give a
- 32:45Speaker 3: people a couple of days so everybody, and then they
- 32:49Speaker 3: will let it right back. We're not talking about everybody.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Were talking about a man who raped somebody. We're not
- 32:58Speaker 3: talking about somebody who's so I'm not talking about non
- 33:01Speaker 3: violent criminals who went out and you well, he got
- 33:05Speaker 3: some time for selling weed. That's none violent. I'm talking
- 33:09Speaker 3: about a man who actually raped. Who has the register.
- 33:13Speaker 3: I thought that was in the new year, the last
- 33:17Speaker 3: year for two times, because he moved without registering the
- 33:24Speaker 3: last time. That's all I wanted to know. So I
- 33:27Speaker 3: can invite the man that rapes y'all daughters, and then
- 33:31Speaker 3: you if you don't live, If you don't you can't
- 33:34Speaker 3: answer a question. Are those personal?
- 33:37Speaker 6: Are those the exact are those the exact facts of
- 33:41Speaker 6: the case. I thought he was caught with a young
- 33:43Speaker 6: woman who had misrepresented.
- 33:45Speaker 3: The exact facts of the case is that Lawrence Taylor
- 33:49Speaker 3: has to register as a sex offender no matter where
- 33:54Speaker 3: he moves. And and I'm saying you you deciphering the
- 33:58Speaker 3: rest of it means what that it matters. You already
- 34:05Speaker 3: knew what he was going to say because he went
- 34:07Speaker 3: to North Carolina. So him going to North Carolina doesn't matter.
- 34:10Speaker 3: I'll command you, Greg, guy, understand because you're our poland
- 34:12Speaker 3: North you're more of what society. So that's why I said,
- 34:15Speaker 3: we have so many people in our system of life
- 34:19Speaker 3: now that dwells from a criminal and an unmral place,
- 34:26Speaker 3: and then we get upset they want to well, well
- 34:30Speaker 3: we're all that way. Anxiety has no morals. And I'm
- 34:34Speaker 3: saying sports shocks and that's what I'm saying. So now
- 34:36Speaker 3: I know I don't have to offer to your gentleman
- 34:38Speaker 3: any kind of respect really, because y'all aren't really y'all
- 34:43Speaker 3: don't really stand on anything except what it hasn't happened
- 34:47Speaker 3: to you, No, see, I'm saying, but you have to understand,
- 34:50Speaker 3: there got my answers. I wonder what you out there. Yeah,
- 34:54Speaker 3: I can move on. Remember I'm saying I'm going to
- 34:57Speaker 3: tell my listeners out there, and if you have something
- 34:59Speaker 3: to say, please hit us online. Lawrence Taylor registered sex
- 35:03Speaker 3: offender on Manning cast tonight. Very interesting. Uh that that
- 35:09Speaker 3: is occurring with Eli Peyton, Bill Belichick. You got a
- 35:14Speaker 3: whole bunch of call Pepper Johnson. Don't tell me you
- 35:16Speaker 3: don't have no giants. You got a whole bunch of
- 35:19Speaker 3: giants from that great Giants team that you could call.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Maybe you could call the one without what you're calling,
- 35:25Speaker 3: the one with the biggest name. And if you got
- 35:28Speaker 3: a big name, if you can bring me more listeners,
- 35:32Speaker 3: I'll use that. I don't care who and how bad
- 35:35Speaker 3: you've been in life.
- 35:37Speaker 8: So who were gonna blame it? Play ABC, ESPN along
- 35:40Speaker 8: with that. I can't blame the Mannings or Bill Belichick.
- 35:45Speaker 6: Gucci Mane went to prison for for a murder, and uh,
- 35:49Speaker 6: he's still gonna give up your Hawks season tickets?
- 35:52Speaker 3: No, what are you cool with? I don't know when
- 35:55Speaker 3: Guci man is coming, but I have told the Hawks
- 35:58Speaker 3: each and every time that somebody these steps on that court.
- 36:02Speaker 3: My opinion, the same opinion that I'm having. You can't
- 36:07Speaker 3: get some artists that haven't hit the man over with
- 36:10Speaker 3: a bottle. I'm gone on the record, and anybody's ever
- 36:15Speaker 3: went to a game with me? No, I speak loud
- 36:17Speaker 3: and proud. When Will was here, I was like, why
- 36:21Speaker 3: do y'all keep booking these criminals? Right? And what I'm saying,
- 36:26Speaker 3: why when I'm sitting there and I'm eating my cookie
- 36:28Speaker 3: at halftime, I look up and you're telling me about
- 36:31Speaker 3: some young this or Lil that or Yva he or
- 36:37Speaker 3: whatever their names are, always ends up on the basketball court.
- 36:41Speaker 3: How about just bring the.
- 36:43Speaker 6: Frisbee dogs and we have had situations and we'll be
- 36:46Speaker 6: back more of The Sports Jock Show right after this, But.
- 36:51Speaker 3: You can't feel those.

- 37:12Speaker 3: The future depends on teachers.
- 37:15Speaker 22: Every day, teachers are shaping our tomorrows, starting their students
- 37:20Speaker 22: on journeys that will change the course of history. Right now,
- 37:24Speaker 22: in a classroom somewhere in the United States, there's a
- 37:26Speaker 22: teacher inspiring a future scientist who'll make preventing pandemics their
- 37:31Speaker 22: life's work. Sharpening the mind of an aspiring environmentalist who'll
- 37:35Speaker 22: help come back climate change and generating possibilities for a
- 37:39Speaker 22: student who will be the first in their family to
- 37:41Speaker 22: graduate college. It all starts with teachers who meet challenges
- 37:46Speaker 22: with creativity, who reinvent education for the future, who work
- 37:50Speaker 22: towards a school system that lives up every child, regardless
- 37:53Speaker 22: of race, income, or zip code, and to enable the

- 38:42Speaker 24: I'm Ryan Blaney, a third generation race car driver, and
- 38:45Speaker 24: we dedicate a lot of our time to going as

- 38:49Speaker 24: my dad and I started racing, and I'm really proud
- 38:51Speaker 24: to follow on his tracks. But when my grandpa was
- 38:53Speaker 24: diagnosed with Alzheimer's, it was a very unexpected bump in
- 38:56Speaker 24: the road for us. I've learned a lot on this
- 38:58Speaker 24: journey with my Grandpa Lou, and the memories of my
- 39:00Speaker 24: grandpa will always be with me. It's important to notice
- 39:03Speaker 24: if older family members are acting differently, experiencing problems with
- 39:06Speaker 24: their memory, or having trouble with routine tasks. Talking about
- 39:09Speaker 24: Alzheimer's can be really tough, but if you notice something,

- 40:11Speaker 3: I'll sing even welcome back to this Wartshock Hill him

- 40:20Speaker 3: today calling the game this weekend up in the press box.
- 40:24Speaker 3: It was very dusty, very hot, Uh, in a great
- 40:29Speaker 3: game between Gainesville Kaynesville. For you, high school is where
- 40:35Speaker 3: Deshaun Watson played high school football, was against Roswell. Roswell
- 40:42Speaker 3: High School. If we're Malik Willis who came in the
- 40:46Speaker 3: game yesterday for Green Bay went to high school. So
- 40:49Speaker 3: as I tell you tell you all the time when
- 40:51Speaker 3: these Friday night games here in Georgia, Uh, the one
- 40:54Speaker 3: thing Georgia can match with any state is the production
- 40:59Speaker 3: of NFL LA. They're right up there.
- 41:02Speaker 18: You know.
- 41:03Speaker 3: They don't have as many college players or somewhere like
- 41:05Speaker 3: a Florida or Texas California, but as far as players
- 41:08Speaker 3: that leave and make it to the pro, they can
- 41:11Speaker 3: put their name right up there with anybody. But that's
- 41:14Speaker 3: why I kind of got a little cold here coming
- 41:16Speaker 3: a little stuffyness. But we were talking about Lawrence Taylor.
- 41:19Speaker 5: We got some.
- 41:20Speaker 3: Listeners online, some of them from the North Carolina, a
- 41:25Speaker 3: region that has a couple of issues, as we would imagine. Okay,
- 41:33Speaker 3: there we go.
- 41:34Speaker 6: Yeah, we had a top of the how we had
- 41:36Speaker 6: our layd listener Jared Lloyd and Uncle Charlie's talking about
- 41:41Speaker 6: three thousand dollars for the game. Uncle Charlie thought it
- 41:43Speaker 6: was a comedic that Jared would ask you for that
- 41:45Speaker 6: money for the Yankees Dodgers. Yeah, Yankees Dodgers. And that's
- 41:49Speaker 6: that's top of the stadium. Top of the stadium. Yes,
- 41:51Speaker 6: three thousand dollars. That's that's selling peanuts stuff to get
- 41:54Speaker 6: you a license. We got Cobasa hot Thorn said, grand rising,
- 41:58Speaker 6: beautiful day. Then when we got into the Lawrence Taylor conversation,
- 42:02Speaker 6: Baron Duffy, who are in stands a North Carolinian, said,
- 42:05Speaker 6: come on, man, speaking of our exchange, he wants to
- 42:08Speaker 6: control the narrative. Antoine literly said he got caught up
- 42:12Speaker 6: with a prostitute that claimed to be nineteen but was sixteen.
- 42:16Speaker 6: Baron retorted, man, damn you. He paid for his transgressions.
- 42:23Speaker 6: Antoine said a misdemeanor that wasn't a violent crime, and
- 42:26Speaker 6: Baron said, sound personal to me. Get out your feelings
- 42:29Speaker 6: and be professional. I think Baron want to move some furniture,
- 42:31Speaker 6: which you sports to. He sounded a little like he
- 42:35Speaker 6: but he know North Carolina too far to grab you.
- 42:37Speaker 3: Know what I'm saying. We can't grab you all the
- 42:38Speaker 3: way up here.
- 42:40Speaker 6: But yeah, So people do feel certain ways about the
- 42:44Speaker 6: Lawrence Taylor thing, and I think that's sort of my
- 42:46Speaker 6: sensibility that I want to make sure.
- 42:48Speaker 3: I did tell you that Lawrence Taylor might be the
- 42:51Speaker 3: best football player that ever ever played that ever, I
- 42:55Speaker 3: did say that.
- 42:55Speaker 6: He did say that, yes, yes, but that doesn't change
- 42:58Speaker 6: how you feel about that. He did often correct, I'm
- 43:00Speaker 6: just making sure that everybody can leave here. And I said, fear.
- 43:05Speaker 6: That's that's a that's a big word from what I
- 43:09Speaker 6: and I play. Guys that make your nails grow faster?
- 43:13Speaker 6: You told a stress as the stress.
- 43:15Speaker 3: Of this week. I got my nails. I gotta cut
- 43:19Speaker 3: them every day because of my body. Just don't call
- 43:22Speaker 3: me this stress. I can't do nothing but watch cartoons.
- 43:27Speaker 3: That's the only way you left. That's cartoons. That's how
- 43:36Speaker 3: some guys, they're gonna bring They're gonna be bringing it
- 43:38Speaker 3: where you just need to be relaxed all week. But
- 43:41Speaker 3: my stance with things like this just becomes uh, for
- 43:45Speaker 3: those out there that might be like Barren, it just
- 43:49Speaker 3: stems more from a standpoint. I try to imagine the
- 43:54Speaker 3: person that these deeds have been done against tuning in
- 44:00Speaker 3: and that person having to watch the man in cast
- 44:06Speaker 3: easy is that I wouldn't want to flip on most
- 44:09Speaker 3: of You couldn't handle watching the ex husband of the
- 44:14Speaker 3: woman where you wit on TV if she you went
- 44:17Speaker 3: in there and called her watching the nightly news right
- 44:20Speaker 3: and it was.
- 44:22Speaker 6: You don't care that we just attacked by terrorist? Why
- 44:25Speaker 6: you got to get the information from that band?
- 44:27Speaker 11: This?
- 44:28Speaker 6: But this is what I was asking about, sir, is
- 44:31Speaker 6: we do And a lot of this has been ingrained
- 44:34Speaker 6: into the American society that once you have done your
- 44:37Speaker 6: quote unquote Paige, your due diligence, then you should have
- 44:40Speaker 6: a second chance. We've seen reporters and broadcasters get fired
- 44:45Speaker 6: and we advocate for a second chance because they said
- 44:48Speaker 6: something sexist or racist, and for people who have lived
- 44:52Speaker 6: through that, they feel like, oh, that was something you
- 44:55Speaker 6: can't come back from but we've always you know, give
- 44:58Speaker 6: people grace.
- 44:59Speaker 3: That was a different time.
- 45:00Speaker 6: You know, time has passed, and I'm just saying for me,
- 45:05Speaker 6: I think that that blanket has to cover everything. Violent
- 45:08Speaker 6: crimes are unfortunate, and I know people who have paid
- 45:14Speaker 6: their penance for committing those types of crimes that I love.
- 45:18Speaker 6: These are my family members, and they went to prison,
- 45:21Speaker 6: and they did decades in prison, and.
- 45:26Speaker 3: When they came out, they was steal my blood, you
- 45:29Speaker 3: know what I mean.
- 45:29Speaker 6: I felt the way about what they did, but I
- 45:31Speaker 6: still got to let them try and live in there now,
- 45:34Speaker 6: and they were remorseful.
- 45:35Speaker 3: If I could take fifteen years back, I would. I'm
- 45:38Speaker 3: just not leaving my daughter around uncle Ted the pedophile,
- 45:43Speaker 3: And I understand that. I understand. I don't care how
- 45:46Speaker 3: much I love he was, you know this or that
- 45:48Speaker 3: about him. I'm not leaving, you know. And that's all
- 45:51Speaker 3: I'm saying. When I look at these situations, I'm not saying,
- 45:53Speaker 3: take Lawrence tay lout the Hall of Fame, don't invite
- 45:56Speaker 3: him to a giant's game. I'm just wondering where do
- 45:59Speaker 3: we go. We don't even Sean Combs, puff Daddy P
- 46:03Speaker 3: Diddy hasn't even had his day in trial. And I've
- 46:08Speaker 3: been in situations where people don't even want you to
- 46:10Speaker 3: play his music already, right, I mean true, She's like
- 46:18Speaker 3: it's been that way for months. They don't even want
- 46:20Speaker 3: you to bring his him up. Yeah, R Kelly. They
- 46:24Speaker 3: don't want you to even play R. Kelly music, right,
- 46:28Speaker 3: or reference him anyway as a great artist. So I
- 46:33Speaker 3: just with Lawrence Taylor for the things he's doing. Just
- 46:36Speaker 3: like the person explained, he was arrested for prostitution. I
- 46:42Speaker 3: guess you're okay with that, Okay, fine, young lady was
- 46:47Speaker 3: sixteen nineteen. Well, now we just really thinning the line
- 46:53Speaker 3: because that means she still was young and you was sixty.
- 46:57Speaker 3: So you're still looking for something ripe and fresh. You sixty,
- 47:03Speaker 3: This person just happened to be you, was okay being
- 47:06Speaker 3: in that that vein.
- 47:07Speaker 6: Hey, my wife younger than me, but I married a
- 47:09Speaker 6: sports Yeah. I'm saying, you're looking at me and I
- 47:12Speaker 6: feel a little bit. You know how you say young
- 47:14Speaker 6: and fresh, and then you give me the you give
- 47:16Speaker 6: me short eyes. I'm not you know what I'm saying.
- 47:19Speaker 6: I get exactly what you're saying. And then there are
- 47:23Speaker 6: sometimes that. And this is the thing I explained to
- 47:25Speaker 6: people about crime and about doing wrong is sometimes your
- 47:29Speaker 6: willingness to get over it is uh not like theirs.
- 47:34Speaker 6: These people may hold on to it forever and you
- 47:37Speaker 6: just got to bear the weight of that. There are
- 47:39Speaker 6: wrongs that I've committed that I was sorry for right
- 47:42Speaker 6: after I did them, but thirty years later them people
- 47:45Speaker 6: still mad about that, and.
- 47:46Speaker 3: I just have to live with that. We'll be back
- 47:48Speaker 3: more to Sports Jout Chill right after this. You better
- 47:57Speaker 3: check yourself, respect yourself, you better go, don't go.

- 51:07Speaker 3: good morning to you. Uh, let's run through a couple
- 51:10Speaker 3: of these games yesterday, I guess Jared Mayo's conversation got
- 51:15Speaker 3: through at least for a week, called his team soft
- 51:21Speaker 3: and they manned up for a week. It's about motivating men.
- 51:28Speaker 3: There's one of the big keys to being a head
- 51:30Speaker 3: coach in professional sports where everything has been made to
- 51:38Speaker 3: play and be less because you've kind of achieved a lot.
- 51:42Speaker 3: So now you've got to get the men out and
- 51:44Speaker 3: figure out how to motivate them.
- 51:47Speaker 6: Now as a motivator, does that get taxing? Does they
- 51:53Speaker 6: does that kind of fatigue set in? If I got
- 51:55Speaker 6: the tough love you all the time, like this's the
- 51:57Speaker 6: professional level, I think.
- 52:00Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not sustainable. That's why I said, for at
- 52:03Speaker 3: least this game.
- 52:04Speaker 6: Right right, y'all soft ain't gonna go into week eletic.
- 52:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it won't work two weeks from now. But this
- 52:10Speaker 3: week against the Jts Jets, see ce you baited me, Jets,
- 52:18Speaker 3: Jet Jets, the Patriots showed that they were not soft,
- 52:22Speaker 3: winning the game twenty five twenty two. Uh Drake may
- 52:26Speaker 3: got knocked out with a concussion. Jacoby Brissett came in
- 52:30Speaker 3: and led his team to victory. And now the Jets
- 52:35Speaker 3: are still They start off blaming Robert Salah. They fired her,
- 52:40Speaker 3: but they lost five games in a row. Command your
- 52:43Speaker 3: great whose fault is it? Now? Say it? Say it?
- 52:48Speaker 5: It's a Aron's fault.
- 52:49Speaker 3: Hey a Ron, Aron, say it again?
- 52:53Speaker 6: Commands Greg is a an It's Aron fault?
- 52:58Speaker 3: Hey Aron? Would you like to explain yourself? Sir, Well,
- 53:01Speaker 3: I threw for two hundred and thirty three yards and
- 53:03Speaker 3: two touchdowns a zero interception. My rating was one eleven yesterday. Yeah,
- 53:09Speaker 3: now talk to Noise, told who fault is it? I
- 53:13Speaker 3: don't play defense. You put it in the coach, So
- 53:18Speaker 3: it's all I'm saying. I'm saying. Now, this is the thing.
- 53:21Speaker 3: This is the thing. Is it one of them? Be
- 53:23Speaker 3: careful what you asked for, because you just might get it.
- 53:26Speaker 3: You wanted this control.
- 53:27Speaker 6: You had some moves to make, and they made the
- 53:30Speaker 6: moves and they ain't paying it out like you thought
- 53:32Speaker 6: they would. And now you got to stand there with
- 53:34Speaker 6: the stick in your hand and admit that I was
- 53:37Speaker 6: the one poking the back.
- 53:39Speaker 3: Two and six are the Jets and still got a
- 53:43Speaker 3: chance to make the playoffs. Aaron Rodgers did say they're
- 53:46Speaker 3: in the dark place. Yeah they are. He's still at Joshua.
- 53:49Speaker 5: You what you think he's trying to get them to
- 53:54Speaker 5: go with them, and that won't last, and that.
- 53:57Speaker 3: Won't go to week eleven.
- 53:59Speaker 8: All those that someone a listener said, all those stats,
- 54:02Speaker 8: and and he's still losing and to a living Yeah,
- 54:07Speaker 8: I mean that's well.
- 54:09Speaker 3: Well, and this is the thing. We're in a dark
- 54:12Speaker 3: are we really? You know? He said? He oh, he's
- 54:15Speaker 3: in the dark.
- 54:16Speaker 6: And he said him and the team or in a
- 54:18Speaker 6: dark plare in a dark place? Well, I guess if
- 54:20Speaker 6: we together then technically we are. But maybe you're the
- 54:24Speaker 6: person in the dark place. And sometimes I look at
- 54:28Speaker 6: Aaron Rodgers and you made me aware of something. A
- 54:32Speaker 6: lot of what I'm seeing in him is I thought
- 54:36Speaker 6: I had that in me. I was sure at the
- 54:39Speaker 6: beginning of the season I would be able to and
- 54:42Speaker 6: I just can't. I keep trying to find you think
- 54:44Speaker 6: I just can't find it.
- 54:45Speaker 3: You think you're gonna finish out the rest of the season.
- 54:47Speaker 3: I think so. I think that the thing that, as
- 54:49Speaker 3: I said, too much pressure has been put on all quarterbacks,
- 54:55Speaker 3: typically especially your older quarterbacks that have had success when
- 54:59Speaker 3: they got this a The other parts of the team
- 55:02Speaker 3: were stellar. Other parts of Tampa Bay were stellar. They
- 55:09Speaker 3: just need to plug Tom Brady in right when they
- 55:12Speaker 3: got when Peyton got the d to Denver, everything was rolling,
- 55:18Speaker 3: they just plugged him in. It wasn't like he did
- 55:20Speaker 3: great numbers some of them with some of the just
- 55:24Speaker 3: most regular years of his career, but it was efficient
- 55:27Speaker 3: as far as leadership things like that. But Aaron Rodgers
- 55:31Speaker 3: just seemed to be this thing where he is supposed
- 55:33Speaker 3: to almost be like he's twenty nine instead of thirty nine.
- 55:38Speaker 3: So the plug and play is not there for him
- 55:40Speaker 3: or wasn't available for him. I think the plug and
- 55:42Speaker 3: play was last year. That's how I explained Ashore or
- 55:45Speaker 3: two ago. That was Injurie. This is not last year's
- 55:50Speaker 3: jet scene with the Deef. They they've lost a couple
- 55:53Speaker 3: of defensive players to injuries or free agency, the offensive line,
- 55:59Speaker 3: but they knew Aaron Rodgers new.
- 56:02Speaker 8: But I'm saying, if you that player and you were
- 56:05Speaker 8: on that team and you knew that you had that
- 56:08Speaker 8: had that court, Aaron Rodgers is that guy and he
- 56:11Speaker 8: was coming back, why would you leave or why would
- 56:13Speaker 8: you I mean? Or was it money they possibly left
- 56:17Speaker 8: the ones the free agent or would you not take
- 56:19Speaker 8: less money to stay?
- 56:20Speaker 3: If we got something here, and we didn't get a
- 56:22Speaker 3: chance to take less money to stay talking about what
- 56:26Speaker 3: are you talking about?
- 56:27Speaker 13: What I mean?
- 56:27Speaker 8: You hear him talk about restructuring the contract Tom Brady
- 56:30Speaker 8: did for years.
- 56:31Speaker 3: Tom Brady was the number one paid player on the team.
- 56:34Speaker 3: It's easy to reconstructure two million dollars. But that fifth
- 56:39Speaker 3: round Pitt who finally made the Pro Bowl, he going
- 56:42Speaker 3: to get paid. He ain't not about to stay there.
- 56:47Speaker 3: I mean, I wish I could have waited. So you know,
- 56:52Speaker 3: I just think a lot of been put on Aaron Rodgers.
- 56:54Speaker 3: It's just the team. It's not the same team, only
- 56:58Speaker 3: has the same vibe as it had last year. The
- 57:02Speaker 3: Raiders losing to the Chiefs. I guess Tom Brady and
- 57:07Speaker 3: Patrick Mahons must own the Raiders. Now did you get
- 57:12Speaker 3: that own? You own?
- 57:15Speaker 27: Maybe Tom solo piece because people were just making I
- 57:18Speaker 27: think it was Antoine just making funds of the Jets
- 57:22Speaker 27: because no better duo is what that could lose?
- 57:27Speaker 3: That's horrible.
- 57:27Speaker 6: Oh, no better duo that can lose than Adams and Rogers.
- 57:31Speaker 6: Raider nation for life. And then we go straight to
- 57:34Speaker 6: the Raider nation. Who gets owned?
- 57:36Speaker 3: Are they? That seemed like time look for Patrick Mahons
- 57:40Speaker 3: own them. Say thank you, Steven. Maybe they got the
- 57:42Speaker 3: name mixed up. They said Tom Brady, but maybe they
- 57:44Speaker 3: meant Patrick Mahons twenty seven to twenty. The Chiefs over
- 57:48Speaker 3: the Raiders yesterday. The Chiefs have beat the Raiders I
- 57:52Speaker 3: think thirteen of the last fourteen times. That's all. That's ownership.
- 57:58Speaker 3: Sounds a little can't even say that that's a rival game.
- 58:03Speaker 8: I remember when the eight nineties when who you had,
- 58:07Speaker 8: what was the dB from right down here in Georgia
- 58:10Speaker 8: making Georgia was on the team.
- 58:11Speaker 3: He was real good.
- 58:12Speaker 6: But anyway, it's not even a robbery gaming. Well the Chiefs,
- 58:17Speaker 6: I forgot deal Carter, Oh yeah, we caught it man.
- 58:19Speaker 6: Oh you went back to the Marcus Allen. That's the
- 58:22Speaker 6: robbery days. I mean, that's when the chiefs in the
- 58:24Speaker 6: rators had a rivalry. If that ain't ownership, that's at
- 58:27Speaker 6: least controlling interests.
- 58:29Speaker 3: We'll be back more than sports Jo after this, John Boy,
- 58:50Speaker 3: Wayne Board of the Sports John Hill with Wayne Gamby
- 58:53Speaker 3: is coming up next.
- 58:56Speaker 14: My simple solution to the problem was remove people from
- 59:00Speaker 14: from the scene and help them feel safer.
- 59:02Speaker 28: In response to attacks against Asian Americans, Maddie Park raised
- 59:06Speaker 28: over two hundred and fifty thousand dollars to donate cab
- 59:09Speaker 28: rights to the Asian community.
- 59:11Speaker 14: There is so much more work to be done. We
- 59:13Speaker 14: really need to come together and chacolo this issue as

- 59:26Speaker 3: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance.
- 59:28Speaker 13: Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical
- 59:32Speaker 13: piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually
- 59:36Speaker 13: have life insurance.
- 59:37Speaker 23: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 59:38Speaker 23: just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.
- 59:41Speaker 23: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind.
- 59:43Speaker 3: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 59:46Speaker 23: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 59:48Speaker 23: bills piling up, I was worried how my family was
- 59:50Speaker 23: survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 59:52Speaker 23: the insurance.
- 59:53Speaker 13: Informant information gives you power, and life insurance gives your
- 59:56Speaker 13: family security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: I don't worry about whether I leave my family with
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: bills are benefits.
- 1:00:03Speaker 13: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:00:06Speaker 13: whether you earn a little or a lot, all you
- 1:00:08Speaker 13: need is the insurance informat to help you build a
- 1:00:10Speaker 13: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:00:14Speaker 13: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?

- 1:00:41Speaker 29: drive after drinking, music gets drowned out. Your life sounds
- 1:00:48Speaker 29: pretty great. Don't let a buzz ruin it. Buzz driving

- 1:01:48Speaker 3: off the air, commentioned Greg it's gonna upload the show
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: to Apple Podcasts, Amazon podcast, Deezer, Spotify, iHeartRadio. Uh for
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: you to hear the playback Big Kenny Bat producer Comanchi
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: in the studio today. Monday Night Football Giant stillers tonight
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: the Dodgers in Yankee Stadium, So you probably get a
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: low rating for that Monday night football game. When you
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: think about the New York audience, you know a lot
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: of people will be truly focusing being down too. Oh
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: to the Dodgers. That is a deep hole. And you
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: look at the Dodgers roster that easily could form this
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: into a sweep. But we will see if Aaron Judge
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: can get his back going in this series at home
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: and I don't know what the temperature will be, but
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: as I said, these seven thirty eight o'clock games and
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: be kind of cool out there, so we will see
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: how that goes. Dwayne Wade statue was unveiled. Down in
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: Miami last week they dedicated the court to pat Riley,
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: so it's pat Riley Court. And you will see that
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: kind of thing going now in places because of naming rights.
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: You know the old days. My stadium in Auburn is
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: called Jordan Hare. But if they built the stadium today,
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: they're gonna make the money off of them, so they're
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: gonna call it whatever. So you will see. You know,
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: it'd be better for it to be Bobby Bowden Field
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: because it can always stay Bobby Bowden Field, but it
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: might not always be Dope Walker Stadium. So if in
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: the future this version, because most likely is, but if
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: they ever built a new one, those advertising dollarges people
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: paid ten twelve million dollars a year just for their
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: name to be on the building.
- 1:03:50Speaker 11: So.
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: Pat Riley Court.
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: And then because we just saw Miami's arena change names,
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: didn't we they.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: Were it was after the Crystal FTX, after yeah.
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: After then it's now they could say a center.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: See yeah.
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: And that was like overnight, literally they did that, like
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: on Monday, it was FTX and then we got to
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: get arrested. We got to chase the day and we've
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: all been arrested am I right, I'm right they changed
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: the stadium.
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'm saying we've all been down all right,
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: the weather's going to be go ahead. No, I was
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: just gonna let you know what the weather was.
- 1:04:28Speaker 10: What is it.
- 1:04:28Speaker 8: It's gonna be fifty four at the first pitch, and
- 1:04:31Speaker 8: it's supposed stay around that fifty five fifty four.
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: Chill time about here this morning at early morning cold.
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: So first inning fifty four, seventh inning forty.
- 1:04:44Speaker 8: Seven, forty seven, forty it's really trying about the twelve
- 1:04:48Speaker 8: o'clock at ninety saying it's supposed to be around fifty three.
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: So I'm supposed to drop like one degree. Okay, let
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: me but that's still. That's still.
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: We're sitting still outdoors, and you know New York's near water,
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: so oh, it's going to be chilly.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: A lot of critics against Dawayne Wade's statue, saying that
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: it doesn't look like him, uh, and it possibly because
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: they was trying to get this kind of action face
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: where he was kind of yelling. So I don't know,
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: I guess that's a little harder than the stoic just
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: kind of standing there. When you look at the statue,
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: it was trying to get more of like layers of
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: wrinkles as though he was yelling and posing with his
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: arms muscular, muscular figure. So they'll probably changed it. They
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: probably rushed it and just wanted to make sure that
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: they got it out for the date that they had.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: The person that was making it probably wasn't ready, but
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: they wanted to make sure since they had set it
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: out to be the way we need to get this
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: out there. We can go back and fix the face, right.
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: I don't I don't know what other people are saying,
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: but Antoine Lily is that that he looks like a
- 1:06:00Speaker 6: bootleg Thanos in the face. Now, this is something I
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: wonder about with these statues. They commissioned the statue with
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: an artist. Does the artists have any creative license in
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: the statue? Does he put his energy on it? Does
- 1:06:18Speaker 6: he put his artists eye? Does he does he take
- 1:06:21Speaker 6: any creativity with the statue or is he trying to
- 1:06:24Speaker 6: do a self portrait type thing?
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: I think they give him a picture or a pose
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: that they made.
- 1:06:30Speaker 8: Yeah, that they choose that they want, Like with the
- 1:06:32Speaker 8: Kobe when like he has two they took a picture
- 1:06:35Speaker 8: from him and his daughter, the one with him. And
- 1:06:38Speaker 8: then the second one is like when he was an
- 1:06:40Speaker 8: action and sports Jocs was just saying they were charging
- 1:06:43Speaker 8: because you know, there's several times the way back in
- 1:06:46Speaker 8: the day when he would do.
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: His flash Yeah, and and and I'm saying, I know
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: artists that gets specific instructions and because they're artists, they
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: do a little something that they say they were inspired
- 1:06:59Speaker 6: to add.
- 1:07:01Speaker 8: And now, if you cant commissioned for a job like that,
- 1:07:03Speaker 8: you need to stay on point. I believe that because
- 1:07:06Speaker 8: we're not asking for your artistry. We hired you because
- 1:07:09Speaker 8: you could do the job, but we expected it to
- 1:07:11Speaker 8: look at that point.
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: And a lot of times they deal with the same
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: artists and maybe he's better at this than that, but
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: I think that I'm quite sure they will change the
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: face with so many people talking about it, but it
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: could have been one of those where we had already
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: deemed this date and we need the statue. We can
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: go back and fix it and very few people will
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: know that it was fixed. We just you know, season over,
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: we'll just put up a little cloth and you go
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: back to work, put a new statue up. But Dwayne Wade,
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: deserving mister Miami himself of that statue outside of what
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: did you say? The name of the stadium?
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: Is the case A Center?
- 1:07:59Speaker 21: What?
- 1:07:59Speaker 18: What is that?
- 1:08:00Speaker 10: What is that?
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: It's a it's a cybersecurity firm.
- 1:08:07Speaker 6: Okay, because says okay, cybersecurity. So they must be good,
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: because ain't nobody heard about Wade.
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: County Shaquille O'Neill the big Arristotle uh in scrutiny this
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: week as well. Shaq was on a podcast that Angel
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: Reese hosted it the other day. One Good Thing I
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: did reed Shack admitted that he only hated cap and
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: Clark in support of Reese. And we get a lot
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: of that now, people, I don't really not like you,
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: I just like her more. We get a lot of that.
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: We're like the bad producer doesn't like Lebron James because
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: he's a Michael Jordan supporter.
- 1:08:52Speaker 6: So I think that's just ingenuous. And that's what I thought,
- 1:08:55Speaker 6: too big, And that's and for me personally, that is
- 1:09:00Speaker 6: a pet peeve of mine with people. Don't lump me
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: in with you know, all men are dogs.
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: You just met me.
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: The men you choose are dogs. I'm a totally different animal.
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: So and I wanted to ask you guys, Why Why
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: are fans that way? Why do they think they have
- 1:09:18Speaker 6: to hate the opponent to love their team? Some I
- 1:09:24Speaker 6: believe people have convinced themselves of that. They have just
- 1:09:28Speaker 6: allowed themselves to believe that. I can't say that you're
- 1:09:31Speaker 6: great and the one I support is great too. It's
- 1:09:34Speaker 6: just two great people.
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: You gotta be trash for my persons. So two people
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: can't be great. That's what they believe in.
- 1:09:41Speaker 6: I believe that two people can be I believe that
- 1:09:44Speaker 6: a bunch of people can be great at one time.
- 1:09:47Speaker 6: But if you compare the two, somebody's going to try
- 1:09:51Speaker 6: and make the one they don't support trash. And it's
- 1:09:54Speaker 6: not like he's almost as good.
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: You have to be trash.
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: I hate her.
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: She she's benefiting from all of the wrong stuff, all
- 1:10:03Speaker 6: of that, And I think it's mature for.
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: Shack to leave in a minute. Yeah, he admitted that
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: he really, but he was watching a Caitlin Clark game,
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: he says, and she shot him into conceding. He said,
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: he kept sitting there, Oh, you ain't gonna hit it.
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: You ain't gonna hit it, You ain't gonna hit it.
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: You probably won't hit it this time. Probably won't hit it.
- 1:10:28Speaker 6: I bet you don't hit it. Watch watch She's not
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: gonna hit it. She'd be hitting it sometime, but not
- 1:10:35Speaker 6: all the time.
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: Also, out of this podcast became people criticizing Shack for
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: being flirty. I guess he made mention that Angel rees
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: and some of the clothing she wears, she wore like
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: a some short shorts to a concert, and he brought
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: it up in front of her, and I guess she
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: looked like she was a little caught off guard.
- 1:11:02Speaker 8: Well, when he was making that comment, he basically was
- 1:11:05Speaker 8: saying that with those shorts you had on at the concert,
- 1:11:08Speaker 8: did w n B A need to start looking at
- 1:11:10Speaker 8: the possibility of girls lowering the goal so they could
- 1:11:13Speaker 8: be able to dunk impossibly y'all having on shorts like
- 1:11:16Speaker 8: that to try to attract more audience.
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: And it's things that we have said some kind of
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: way we gotta figure out right right now, right now
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: we have said.
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: No, no, I'm saying, but this ship didn't mean did
- 1:11:28Speaker 6: Jack get on the podcast and sexualized? Ain't Teresa say
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: that w NBA or to do the same thing. He
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: basically said that the w I mean he said, yes, question, yes, I.
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: That ain't no yo.
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: Hey, yeah, permission to treat the witnesses hostile, That's what
- 1:11:44Speaker 6: he said.
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: He said, Hey, you looking kind of writing them little
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: tiny shorts.
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: Y'all to just going, he said, y'all lee white with
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: that basically, and Lord the goal so y'all could dunk,
- 1:11:53Speaker 6: because guys, we would love to see you dunking in
- 1:11:55Speaker 6: those type of shorts. Okay, okay, and again very but
- 1:12:00Speaker 6: you were to be open and honest with your opinion.
- 1:12:02Speaker 6: I think Shack's at that point where he kind of check.
- 1:12:05Speaker 8: And then you have people say one of the first
- 1:12:07Speaker 8: people to sexualize me was as a black girl, was
- 1:12:11Speaker 8: a play uncle. Then you had other people like, what
- 1:12:14Speaker 8: is Shack supposed to mental? Angel Reese, that's nasty work.
- 1:12:18Speaker 8: You're you're coming to her as a pervert all and.
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: We'll talk about a little later. When I saw that,
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: I didn't understand because I'm always confused. You put on
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: the short shorts, but then you said, I'm the pervert.
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: I'm sexualizing you. I'm the pervert. I never understood how
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: that works. I'm the pervert even in the office setting
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: like you could be in me. Sexualizing someone is when
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: you try excuse me young. I'mish lady. I was looking
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: at you and I thought, okay, play the audio as
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: we go to break. Don't don't strike this.
- 1:12:59Speaker 11: From to take Christians striking it, don't don't don't tell
- 1:13:03Speaker 11: you just lower like that to word it gives your
- 1:13:05Speaker 11: ability to don't imagine you.
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: I'm not imagining.
- 1:13:09Speaker 11: Let me finish. Imagine you're in the same little shirts
- 1:13:11Speaker 11: you had on at the Wild that show. Don't don't
- 1:13:14Speaker 11: strike it from the tape Christians striking it, don't don't
- 1:13:18Speaker 11: don't tell.
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: If you just lower like that to word, it gives
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: your ability to.
- 1:13:21Speaker 11: Don't imagine you.
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: I'm not imagining.
- 1:13:24Speaker 11: Let me finish. Imagine you're in the same little shirts
- 1:13:26Speaker 11: you had on at the Wild Show.
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: A little sauce to me.
- 1:13:38Speaker 12: Let me see you dunk, don't go Awayne Born of

- 1:21:03Speaker 8: you won't get a v No more tween for you.
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: Twenty four lovers. Jack Bower is back this December twenty four.
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: Dark Horizon Wait now will become Wait now? How many
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: more people can this man kill him the name of freedom?
- 1:21:19Speaker 6: Listen now now For people that don't know, twenty four
- 1:21:23Speaker 6: is the story of CIA secret super soldier Jack Bauer,
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: and it takes place between whatever hour it starts and
- 1:21:30Speaker 6: whatever hour it is. So this, all of this happens
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: between one pm and twelve a twelve pm or one
- 1:21:40Speaker 6: pm and two pm Eastern time, and then it starts
- 1:21:44Speaker 6: and in one hour.
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: Jack Bower tortures three people and kills four, and then
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: it's three o'clock. What is he gonna do up until
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: six thirty? No, they shouldn't. How how are they gonna
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: bring back Jack? Jack was the live and I know,

- 1:22:14Speaker 3: he gotta go online because everybody else like, no, I'm
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: good with the terror.
- 1:22:17Speaker 19: Some thing.

- 1:22:22Speaker 3: That's so Jack Bauer the precursor to John Wick. Yeah,
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: John Wick looks at him like, nah, I'm good. Sad news,
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: Big Kenny says. DJ Clark Kent passed away at the
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: age of fifty eight years old after colon cancer. He
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: brought us.
- 1:22:40Speaker 6: He was the DJ for Dana Dane and he bought
- 1:22:46Speaker 6: us such great hits with artists like the Notorious Big
- 1:22:51Speaker 6: and jay Z. But he is given credit for introducing
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: jay Z to Dame Dash, who later went on to
- 1:22:57Speaker 6: form Rockefeller Records. So without that production, there would have
- 1:23:01Speaker 6: been no Rockefeller. So that is what he is in
- 1:23:03Speaker 6: addition to all of the hits that he helped produce.
- 1:23:06Speaker 6: He made that possible.
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: And our man Miles Garrett yesterday dressed up as Armed
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: Schwartzenegger as he came into the arena. It was dead on.
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: I don't know what they call that white face? What
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: do they call that? Well, is it called white face?
- 1:23:23Speaker 5: Was he in makeup too?
- 1:23:25Speaker 11: He had?
- 1:23:27Speaker 3: He had on the leather. It was no problem. He won't.
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: It's okay, they won't make a big deal. Why not?
- 1:23:34Speaker 3: Why not?
- 1:23:35Speaker 11: It was?
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: Why not?
- 1:23:37Speaker 6: That's just it wasn't a black face. I thought it
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: was a great outfit. I thought it was a great
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: outfit too. But well, you've seen so many people.
- 1:23:43Speaker 8: In the past have dressed up as Cotton wondyear this
- 1:23:46Speaker 8: people dressed up as Kanye and Kim and the young
- 1:23:48Speaker 8: man painting his face black and he got suspended from school.
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: Right, And so I'm saying that may have been a
- 1:23:54Speaker 6: great costume too, but but everybody went nuts about it,
- 1:23:59Speaker 6: and I'm saying I think that again, that's disingenuous. If
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: you're mad about appropriation. We'll be back more to sports, y'all,

- 1:27:53Speaker 3: the radio. That's just my boyfriend. Yeah No, this is
- 1:27:56Speaker 3: not the midnight hour and this is not the quad

- 1:28:03Speaker 3: slip it in on the Sports Jock b I'm predicted,
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: just got a little cold and congestion in my throat.
- 1:28:09Speaker 6: There's a couple of extra female listeners this morning. Let's
- 1:28:12Speaker 6: say something else about sports real slow the Lakers.
- 1:28:16Speaker 3: The Greatness of the King once again on the display
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: the other night, thirty two points fourteen rebounds, ten assists.
- 1:28:22Speaker 3: It doesn't seem like anything is going to slow Lebron
- 1:28:26Speaker 3: down other than Lebron just deciding too. And I put
- 1:28:30Speaker 3: retirement together. Tom gonna give you this year. Next year
- 1:28:34Speaker 3: will be year twenty three. He will have the record
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: from Vince Carter. It will be his original twenty three jersey,
- 1:28:42Speaker 3: and that's when he's gonna retire twenty three. And King,
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: he is very calculating.
- 1:28:46Speaker 6: Twenty three did twenty three, and now he's gonna retire
- 1:28:50Speaker 6: as because twenty three is on his shoe, on his shoe, I.
- 1:28:53Speaker 3: Mean, it's about to be come on with the vision now.
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: I just pitched you the most what my jersey back
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: to twenty three? What Mike twenty three? Year twenty three
- 1:29:05Speaker 3: wasn't Mike twenty three? He wears right, and so so
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: the greats. It all lines up.
- 1:29:12Speaker 6: Yeah, the greats only do twenty three, and I do
- 1:29:16Speaker 6: my twenty three years and then I'm back to twenty three.
- 1:29:19Speaker 3: How many years you do twenty three? What's your number?
- 1:29:22Speaker 3: Twenty three? See what I'm saying. How that they call
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: in the universe, they call that lightenment Nike.
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: He's working on the campaign, of.
- 1:29:29Speaker 3: Course they are. What's the university?
- 1:29:32Speaker 11: You know?
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: He and Michael Jordan's somehow him and Mike gonna actually
- 1:29:36Speaker 3: do the commercial together together. Yeah, two three and two
- 1:29:39Speaker 3: three doing a Come on, man, come, Mike gonna be
- 1:29:45Speaker 3: in heaven like watering some daisies, and Lebron gonna open
- 1:29:48Speaker 3: the door and walk in. What you're doing in there?
- 1:29:51Speaker 9: Man?
- 1:29:51Speaker 3: Two three? I finally let it go to three. Yeah,
- 1:29:54Speaker 3: to two three rooms. It's only two people here is
- 1:29:56Speaker 3: room twenty three. Room twenty three is only two. It's
- 1:29:59Speaker 3: only two people here. I just came here, you know.
- 1:30:02Speaker 6: Yeah, I came to give you the ball back or
- 1:30:04Speaker 6: the crime back. Thank you for letting me something. I
- 1:30:09Speaker 6: believe Mike could actually be sitting up on.
- 1:30:11Speaker 3: The throne and Lebron, I believe this is yours. Did
- 1:30:15Speaker 3: you did you win the victory?
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: Son?
- 1:30:17Speaker 7: No?
- 1:30:17Speaker 3: He comes like he has to walk up to the throne,
- 1:30:19Speaker 3: sitting on the throne. He comes to show him I
- 1:30:22Speaker 3: conquered Dad came back. I want all about it. You
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: did us proud two three? How many countries you conquer?
- 1:30:30Speaker 5: All of them?
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: They didn't show all of the Olympic medals and all
- 1:30:36Speaker 6: of the championship.
- 1:30:38Speaker 3: Might give him a little nod that he can come
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: on up see how it worked. Like he just about
- 1:30:44Speaker 3: the and both of them released a shoe on the
- 1:30:46Speaker 3: same day, two three December twenty three, they released a
- 1:30:51Speaker 3: new two three for both of them right before christ
- 1:30:55Speaker 3: online only. You can only buy them some shit. I see.
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: We ought to go into the marketing room. But JJ
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: Reddick is three, and the old people question JJ Reddick.
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: One thing I've seen them in two of those three victories.
- 1:31:09Speaker 3: The one thing I see that JJ has those guys
- 1:31:12Speaker 3: doing is they play with more discipline. You don't see
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: all that trying to be flashy. Just Errant passes. It's
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: the same guy from last year, but you don't see
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: all those little mis cues where they're just look like
- 1:31:26Speaker 3: they're trying to give the show a very like more
- 1:31:31Speaker 3: fundamentally sound about playing the game. Seems that JJ has
- 1:31:35Speaker 3: offered them. Uh. They say JJ was caught. Baron Davis
- 1:31:39Speaker 3: said he bumped into him. He was watching film at
- 1:31:41Speaker 3: the car wash and see Lebron. That's the only thing
- 1:31:45Speaker 3: I see wrong with Lebron right now, because Lebron is
- 1:31:49Speaker 3: supposed to send his his detailed guy over the hit
- 1:31:52Speaker 3: JJ Carr Right, yeah, come on, man, when he finished
- 1:31:55Speaker 3: up with the Rose and Cinema to the Quickened wash.
- 1:31:59Speaker 6: I think it's interesting that they all get their car washed.
- 1:32:02Speaker 6: It's the same place for the chances that one it
- 1:32:06Speaker 6: be a.
- 1:32:09Speaker 3: The car watch.
- 1:32:10Speaker 6: I know they not at the car wash next to
- 1:32:12Speaker 6: the quick trip, you know what I mean, So this
- 1:32:15Speaker 6: must be an exclusive place. Maybe this is just how
- 1:32:17Speaker 6: they get out the house, you know what I mean. Look,
- 1:32:19Speaker 6: I'm going to get the car watch. No, Lebron is
- 1:32:21Speaker 6: supposed to send his guy over the JJ swing by
- 1:32:26Speaker 6: Coach caff I think Lebron's guy has a standalone building.
- 1:32:30Speaker 5: That's why they go to him.
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: You have to go to Lebron's guy. But the Lakers
- 1:32:35Speaker 3: off to a fast start. You know, it just looked
- 1:32:38Speaker 3: more like discipline. They're not losing, no doing those little turnovers,
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: do you know? You know what I'm saying.
- 1:32:45Speaker 6: They fit into trying to do the showtime a lot, right,
- 1:32:49Speaker 6: And do you think that his eye haven't as a
- 1:32:51Speaker 6: former player. Some stuff you can't get over on me,
- 1:32:55Speaker 6: like you know, if I've never played coach, I was
- 1:32:58Speaker 6: trying to. Okay, I don't know any matter, but JJ
- 1:33:04Speaker 6: knows far better.
- 1:33:05Speaker 3: Have you seen Have you seen the Laker game?
- 1:33:07Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm supposed to be team I've seen. I've seen
- 1:33:10Speaker 8: all three of them.
- 1:33:11Speaker 3: What do you think so far?
- 1:33:12Speaker 8: I mean, right now, they're rolling. We're rolling with what
- 1:33:16Speaker 8: he's got working. I mean his rotations and everything. That's
- 1:33:20Speaker 8: that was a problem in the last few years, just
- 1:33:22Speaker 8: being able to figure out a rotation when to bring
- 1:33:25Speaker 8: Lebron in or and then Anthony Davis had to stay healthy.
- 1:33:29Speaker 8: Right now, that's the key. Wasn't he not in favor
- 1:33:32Speaker 8: of J. J Reddick when he first went to the Lakers?
- 1:33:35Speaker 8: Kind of like he was like I said, I'm just
- 1:33:37Speaker 8: sitting here going with rolling with Rush. We're just rolling
- 1:33:40Speaker 8: with him.
- 1:33:41Speaker 6: What does that mean? People don't know that just rolling.
- 1:33:43Speaker 6: I know you have these old hip hop sayings you
- 1:33:45Speaker 6: like to throw in, Well you went out throwing the
- 1:33:48Speaker 6: new ones.
- 1:33:49Speaker 3: You tell me I'm rush, So I mean I'm trying
- 1:33:54Speaker 3: to get us rush town management.
- 1:33:56Speaker 6: For people that don't understand, that's Eric being rock Ki
- 1:33:59Speaker 6: paving for circus, you know, you know three.
- 1:34:04Speaker 3: Yeah, eighty four, eighty five, that's way different. That's way different.
- 1:34:09Speaker 3: Is that eighty five? Eight eighty five, eighty three?
- 1:34:13Speaker 6: Wait, no, eighty five A six eighty four came in
- 1:34:15Speaker 6: eighty seven, but I'm saying.
- 1:34:17Speaker 3: That eighty six.
- 1:34:18Speaker 8: Yeah, but Rock Kimilson in high school when they recorded it. Still, Oh,
- 1:34:22Speaker 8: that's different.
- 1:34:24Speaker 3: But what how would the public know? Nobi Walters was
- 1:34:28Speaker 3: the agency. You think that stuff makes you sound intelligence.
- 1:34:33Speaker 8: It's funny were rolling with I mean, we're rolling with JJ.
- 1:34:36Speaker 8: Gotta roll with him, and he's who they hired. That's
- 1:34:39Speaker 8: who before you put you out that you don't know.
- 1:34:44Speaker 3: Because JJ Reddick went and played and started Duke, then
- 1:34:49Speaker 3: that means that whatever JJ Reddick is, walls and will
- 1:34:54Speaker 3: be is not really anything because he went to Duke
- 1:34:59Speaker 3: and the producer is a Carolina guy. And we talked
- 1:35:02Speaker 3: about this early in the show of How Blind Hate
- 1:35:06Speaker 3: with Shot. You tried to denounce and diminish people just
- 1:35:10Speaker 3: because and that's one of the cancerous parts of our
- 1:35:13Speaker 3: country now that we want to diminish and tear down
- 1:35:18Speaker 3: just based on the principle of not liking somebody said
- 1:35:23Speaker 3: that the person is any lesson and it's a lot
- 1:35:29Speaker 3: of people that have not been qualified. JJ Reddick was
- 1:35:34Speaker 3: just as qualified as Jason Kidd when you got a podcast,
- 1:35:40Speaker 3: but we got hired off of the same principle podcast time.
- 1:35:45Speaker 3: They were a long time basketball players and they became
- 1:35:49Speaker 3: head coaches. The NBA is always hired guys, especially point guards,
- 1:35:54Speaker 3: right after they retire to be head coaches with no
- 1:35:56Speaker 3: head coaching uh experience. Excuse me.
- 1:36:05Speaker 6: He was a shooting guard, but he just he retired
- 1:36:11Speaker 6: two years ago. But and he didn't go right after that.
- 1:36:14Speaker 6: That's why I said he on he developed the.
- 1:36:17Speaker 5: Relationship, didn't go right after that anywhere.
- 1:36:20Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. He wasn't even an assistant anywhere.
- 1:36:23Speaker 3: What was Steve Kerr assistant.
- 1:36:24Speaker 5: That he wasn't And he wasn't an assistant. He was
- 1:36:28Speaker 5: like the GM of the Suns for a few years.
- 1:36:31Speaker 5: So he didn't have any coaching experience. Yeah, he had
- 1:36:33Speaker 5: no coaching experience, Okay.
- 1:36:35Speaker 3: Brandon Jennings, speaking of shooting guards, point guard says that
- 1:36:39Speaker 3: he exited the NBA mainly because his family and the
- 1:36:47Speaker 3: success he was having, the money he was making made
- 1:36:50Speaker 3: him what he feels was a cash cow to his family,
- 1:36:55Speaker 3: and that's how they dealt with him, is what he
- 1:37:00Speaker 3: It was a drain. As he says, family will drain you.
- 1:37:04Speaker 3: You felt like it was a drain, I would say
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: with Brandon Jennings. And this is some of why the
- 1:37:11Speaker 3: old school coaches you have seen, like a Nick Saban
- 1:37:15Speaker 3: or like Tony Bennett from Virginia have left because you're
- 1:37:22Speaker 3: saddling young minds now with the nil with these same
- 1:37:28Speaker 3: kind of cash cow responsibilities before they've even matured to
- 1:37:34Speaker 3: learn how to play the game or to deal with family.
- 1:37:42Speaker 3: That little three four years you may spend in college
- 1:37:46Speaker 3: helps fortify you. It helps you learn and evaluate your game,
- 1:37:50Speaker 3: and it helps you a little not much. But Brandon Jennings,
- 1:37:55Speaker 3: if I remember Brandon Jennings correctly, he was a right
- 1:37:58Speaker 3: out of high school and then he came back. So
- 1:38:03Speaker 3: basically he that is the rule. It doesn't say you
- 1:38:06Speaker 3: have to go to college, It just says you have
- 1:38:08Speaker 3: to be one year removed from high school. So basically
- 1:38:11Speaker 3: he took on all of this family take us to
- 1:38:15Speaker 3: the Promised Land kind of mentality at nineteen, before he
- 1:38:21Speaker 3: was even full in his whole full game. He hadn't
- 1:38:27Speaker 3: even learned to mature his game yet and he was
- 1:38:30Speaker 3: cast in this system where easily, even if you do
- 1:38:34Speaker 3: go to college, even if it is twenty two, when
- 1:38:37Speaker 3: you arrive in the league, you feel that same weight.
- 1:38:40Speaker 3: We'll talk about more of this with Brandon Jennings after
- 1:38:42Speaker 3: the break. Will be right back more to Sports Talk Show.
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: Does Don't Bow Away?

- 1:41:48Speaker 3: Welcome back to the Sports Shops Show. I'm the sports
- 1:41:49Speaker 3: Shop Wayne Gandy.
- 1:41:51Speaker 11: Uh.
- 1:41:51Speaker 3: We had some comments online and I was trying to understand.
- 1:41:55Speaker 3: But bad Producer thinks everybody is a Mason, and I
- 1:41:59Speaker 3: don't speak Mason. I'm not part of any of that
- 1:42:04Speaker 3: cold underground railroad is above ground. So he go to
- 1:42:11Speaker 3: talking and I'm very confused on what he's saying.
- 1:42:19Speaker 6: What was on the comment from Uncle Charlie was that
- 1:42:22Speaker 6: Grant Hill, I think the Laker made a great decision
- 1:42:26Speaker 6: hiring JJ for lakerhead coach. Roll with that BP for
- 1:42:31Speaker 6: bad producer, and the bad Producer commented and replied Grant Hill,
- 1:42:36Speaker 6: as a co owner of the A T O Hawks,
- 1:42:39Speaker 6: need to sweep around his own front door and.
- 1:42:41Speaker 3: Not the Lakers.
- 1:42:43Speaker 6: And then I don't understand, well, well, well we got problems,
- 1:42:47Speaker 6: you know, in a with some of the situation as
- 1:42:50Speaker 6: an owner, he should be I'm just saying, what the
- 1:42:52Speaker 6: problem with other problems.
- 1:42:53Speaker 3: I'm just saying he should be wearing about his own house.
- 1:42:59Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. To look at a love
- 1:43:00Speaker 3: man house I look at I look at my neighbor
- 1:43:03Speaker 3: house every day.
- 1:43:04Speaker 6: When look inside the house, I mean, the outside is
- 1:43:06Speaker 6: all right, but see he looking on the inside.
- 1:43:08Speaker 8: I want to say, what the Lakers did the great decision.
- 1:43:10Speaker 8: But you got a dude over here that your superstar.
- 1:43:14Speaker 8: He don't even have a shoe deal right now. You
- 1:43:16Speaker 8: have to do it, granted Hill, but he chimed in,
- 1:43:19Speaker 8: what does a shoe deal for Trey Young have.
- 1:43:21Speaker 11: To do it?
- 1:43:22Speaker 8: But I'm saying, he grant, he'll need He shouldn't be
- 1:43:24Speaker 8: chiming in on leg business. He's well, he's supposed to
- 1:43:27Speaker 8: be handling a Hawk's business. All I'm saying, sweep around listen.
- 1:43:31Speaker 6: And I'm not I'm not the most educated, but I
- 1:43:34Speaker 6: would imagine that Hawks business and Trey Young business for
- 1:43:39Speaker 6: two separate things.
- 1:43:40Speaker 8: Shoe deals for trade I'm just I shouldn't even say
- 1:43:43Speaker 8: I shouldn't even say the shooting. I'm just saying there's
- 1:43:45Speaker 8: a lot of you know, but I agree with you
- 1:43:48Speaker 8: that there's a lot of.
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: Things you probably shouldn't say.
- 1:43:50Speaker 11: Sir.
- 1:43:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm still confused.
- 1:43:53Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying. We're still waiting on you
- 1:43:55Speaker 6: to explain what he was asking you about.
- 1:43:57Speaker 3: But we don't even know what. No, I'm saying that
- 1:44:00Speaker 3: you got Grant, he'll talk.
- 1:44:01Speaker 6: He's the owner of the Hawks, and he's talking about
- 1:44:03Speaker 6: what the Lakers did great, and we haven't even we've
- 1:44:06Speaker 6: been to play well, we have been in the play
- 1:44:07Speaker 6: in like the Lakers, so we are riding on the
- 1:44:10Speaker 6: same level.
- 1:44:11Speaker 3: Of and where why you keep saying we You're a
- 1:44:17Speaker 3: Laker fan, so why you know the Hawks business. I'm
- 1:44:20Speaker 3: saying we as the Lakers and the Hawks. Why are
- 1:44:23Speaker 3: you talking about the Hawks a Laker?
- 1:44:27Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 1:44:27Speaker 3: Man, get on some way, get off the mic right there.
- 1:44:30Speaker 3: You're confusing the people, because I know if I'm confused.
- 1:44:33Speaker 3: Ain't nobody been to the Masonic Line. That's only James
- 1:44:37Speaker 3: James Brown used to perform in those places. I don't
- 1:44:41Speaker 3: know what kind of bright new bad that's all they
- 1:44:43Speaker 3: was good for right now, the Sixers. Uh, do the
- 1:44:47Speaker 3: Sixers have a case against Joe l ob Yes. If
- 1:44:51Speaker 3: you're not gonna play, if you're not gonna play back
- 1:44:53Speaker 3: to back, should not be able to get your contract?
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:44:57Speaker 3: For that game?
- 1:44:58Speaker 33: Yes?
- 1:45:00Speaker 5: Maybe, I mean if they can like restructured or pro
- 1:45:03Speaker 5: rated like based on a met number of games, or
- 1:45:06Speaker 5: maybe that's already in the in the contract that he has.
- 1:45:09Speaker 7: No.
- 1:45:10Speaker 3: No, I don't know. I don't get the feeling that
- 1:45:12Speaker 3: the Sixers news. Yeah, I mean, well it should have been.
- 1:45:16Speaker 6: And what I'm saying is, I don't know how it
- 1:45:18Speaker 6: goes in professional sports and privately owned companies, but I
- 1:45:21Speaker 6: do know when you accept a position as an employee,
- 1:45:26Speaker 6: you are responsible for performing all of those duties under
- 1:45:30Speaker 6: your job description as often as they are needed while
- 1:45:34Speaker 6: you were at work. I can't come to work and
- 1:45:36Speaker 6: say I'm only going to do the books on Fridays
- 1:45:41Speaker 6: and Saturdays and Thursdays. I can't refuse to do the
- 1:45:45Speaker 6: books on certain days because I don't like numbers. How
- 1:45:48Speaker 6: is he playing for a team and dictating to them.
- 1:45:52Speaker 6: It's not like he's injured. It's not like he's got
- 1:45:54Speaker 6: any health issues or personal family issues. He's just saying
- 1:45:58Speaker 6: I don't feel like it today. So y'all take that.
- 1:46:02Speaker 6: I don't care who we're playing, I don't care where
- 1:46:04Speaker 6: we are in the standings. I'm not going to play
- 1:46:07Speaker 6: back to back because I don't feel like I should
- 1:46:09Speaker 6: have to. I would cut him, and as an NBA franchise,
- 1:46:13Speaker 6: I wouldn't allow anybody else to pick him up. That's
- 1:46:16Speaker 6: how I feel. If I were the NBA, I would
- 1:46:19Speaker 6: suspend him from the league. Well, I'm just saying I
- 1:46:22Speaker 6: think that's soft. I think that's soft. I think it's entitled,
- 1:46:26Speaker 6: and I think it's weak.
- 1:46:28Speaker 3: Well, I just I was just wondering for him making
- 1:46:30Speaker 3: a statement as though he's not even going to try.
- 1:46:34Speaker 3: So those four or five six times they have back
- 1:46:36Speaker 3: to backs, he's just saying he's not going to play him.
- 1:46:39Speaker 3: I thought, well, if I'm the owner, I need to
- 1:46:41Speaker 3: come here and get that half a million dollars that
- 1:46:43Speaker 3: I pick game check, you know, and just pay you
- 1:46:47Speaker 3: for the games and you play. That's the new contracts.
- 1:46:50Speaker 5: Give the money to only pay the Drummond because he's
- 1:46:54Speaker 5: the he's the backup renting. If he's going to play,
- 1:46:56Speaker 5: that that other game that second game, and.
- 1:47:00Speaker 6: I'm more concerned about the president we're setting. If Joe
- 1:47:04Speaker 6: l Embid can do it because he is Philly's franchise player,
- 1:47:09Speaker 6: then what's to stop Lebron from doing it in LA?
- 1:47:13Speaker 6: What's to stop Trey Young or Reese i Share from
- 1:47:16Speaker 6: doing it here in Atlanta? It's just how are you
- 1:47:19Speaker 6: going to.
- 1:47:20Speaker 3: Say I don't want to play Penn State versus Ohio State,
- 1:47:24Speaker 3: which is going to be a huge game this weekend.
- 1:47:27Speaker 3: Can Penn State finally get over the hump and beat
- 1:47:30Speaker 3: Ohio State. Penn State's head coach James Franklin, apologized for
- 1:47:37Speaker 3: walking out last week. He was asked about some rape
- 1:47:40Speaker 3: allegations against two of his players earlier in the year,
- 1:47:45Speaker 3: and it made me wonder with the structure of how
- 1:47:48Speaker 3: they interview coaches, Juice, and you've been in those rooms.
- 1:47:51Speaker 3: Should the coach should there be like team or more
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: like we're going to talk boards and then after the
- 1:48:02Speaker 3: sports questions we can talk life questions. You understand, Like,
- 1:48:08Speaker 3: so we're going to talk practice and who played and
- 1:48:10Speaker 3: who dropped the ball, and then the coach will know Okay,
- 1:48:13Speaker 3: that's the end of that.
- 1:48:15Speaker 6: Right now, we're going to talk well, whose girlfriend did what? Well,
- 1:48:18Speaker 6: most time I.
- 1:48:19Speaker 3: Think it would be a more comfortable situation for the
- 1:48:22Speaker 3: coach questions, well you well, it's one reporter is asking
- 1:48:30Speaker 3: me about third and fifteen, and then we point you
- 1:48:33Speaker 3: to ask the question, and you asking me about this.
- 1:48:37Speaker 3: It's like what we can say so he can have
- 1:48:40Speaker 3: his understanding of what part of the interview. We'll what
- 1:48:46Speaker 3: I've seen.
- 1:48:47Speaker 8: The notice in no situations if you start as a coach,
- 1:48:51Speaker 8: if you see a lot more reporters at practice than normal,
- 1:48:55Speaker 8: you're about to get some questions about some things that's
- 1:48:58Speaker 8: going on off field. So a lot of times, whatever
- 1:49:01Speaker 8: the hot story is you supposed to like, if it's
- 1:49:04Speaker 8: after the game, ask those questions. You know, the main
- 1:49:07Speaker 8: reporter ask those things right there now, the first question,
- 1:49:10Speaker 8: second question. It shouldn't be about those allegations.
- 1:49:14Speaker 3: Because coaches are very planned and agenda and structure. It
- 1:49:19Speaker 3: would work easier if I knew, okay, the fifteen minutes
- 1:49:23Speaker 3: we're going to talk this part. But taking them that's
- 1:49:25Speaker 3: the frustrating part to them. But we go about the
- 1:49:28Speaker 3: last player in the game to you just came in
- 1:49:31Speaker 3: here as not a beat writer, but as a columnist.
- 1:49:36Speaker 3: Just to ask about some rape charges, and I was
- 1:49:40Speaker 3: on a whole nother page, and it seems like you're
- 1:49:44Speaker 3: asking me that almost in an antagonizing way. But if
- 1:49:46Speaker 3: I had already talked about that and that part was closed,
- 1:49:51Speaker 3: now we can move on, so I'll know where we
- 1:49:53Speaker 3: are now.
- 1:49:54Speaker 8: And I know sometimes coaches addressed that in the beginning,
- 1:49:57Speaker 8: or or if they addressed an allegation or something that's
- 1:50:00Speaker 8: going on, they may go ahead and say, hey, let's
- 1:50:03Speaker 8: hit the elephant in the role.
- 1:50:04Speaker 6: Now, let's go with twyst well in the press room
- 1:50:07Speaker 6: when you're asking these questions, I know a lot of
- 1:50:09Speaker 6: times with interviews they have a list of things that
- 1:50:12Speaker 6: you cannot ask me during an interview. Why don't sports
- 1:50:16Speaker 6: franchises set it up where the only questions I want
- 1:50:19Speaker 6: to be answering are about the game we just played
- 1:50:21Speaker 6: or the game that's coming up. No personal questions about
- 1:50:24Speaker 6: people that I'm not.
- 1:50:25Speaker 3: We'll be back more to Sports jo Jo right after this.
- 1:50:32Speaker 12: Joy right, Je, don't go Awayne Bard of the Sports
- 1:50:43Speaker 12: John Show with Wayne Gandy is coming up next.
- 1:50:46Speaker 3: And now let's talk about something exciting. Life insurance.
- 1:50:49Speaker 13: Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical
- 1:50:52Speaker 13: piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually
- 1:50:56Speaker 13: have life insurance.
- 1:50:57Speaker 23: When I was twenty five, me and my wife are
- 1:50:59Speaker 23: just getting with our family and thought we live forever
- 1:51:02Speaker 23: life insurance.
- 1:51:02Speaker 3: What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 1:51:04Speaker 3: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:51:07Speaker 23: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:51:09Speaker 23: bills piling up, I was worried how my family would
- 1:51:11Speaker 23: survive without me. That's what I made an appointment with
- 1:51:13Speaker 23: the insurance informant.
- 1:51:14Speaker 13: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:51:17Speaker 13: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:51:20Speaker 23: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:51:22Speaker 23: leave my family with bills or benefits.

- 1:52:54Speaker 6: time go to school more when we put a spin
- 1:52:57Speaker 6: on life and sports and how they intermingle on the
- 1:53:02Speaker 6: Sports Jack Show with Wayne Dandy.
- 1:53:07Speaker 10: James, I can tell you're taking it all in right now.
- 1:53:09Speaker 10: You're about to make your first start since twenty twenty two.
- 1:53:12Speaker 10: Ken Dorsey said that he's been preaching to you to
- 1:53:14Speaker 10: play smart but not conservative.
- 1:53:16Speaker 3: What do you expect from yourself? This is the day
- 1:53:18Speaker 3: that the Lord has made. I will be glad and
- 1:53:20Speaker 3: rejoicing it.
- 1:53:22Speaker 10: You're looking really focused right now. You told us this
- 1:53:25Speaker 10: week that everyone inside this building believes that this is
- 1:53:28Speaker 10: the time you guys can turn it around.
- 1:53:29Speaker 6: What's been the message on wavering with faith, ultimate belief,
- 1:53:34Speaker 6: depending on the law.
- 1:53:35Speaker 3: That's all we got.
- 1:53:37Speaker 10: You told me no nerves, just excitement and butterflies.
- 1:53:40Speaker 3: Still feel that way. I'm wavering faith, ultimate belief, depending it's.
- 1:53:45Speaker 6: On the Lord.
- 1:53:46Speaker 10: The message is clear, guys, Thank you.
- 1:53:47Speaker 3: Jamis Yes, Yes, that is our man. James wins unwavering
- 1:53:54Speaker 3: comedy is what he should say. I felt James Winston
- 1:54:00Speaker 3: to speak, no hands together coming to the stage right now.
- 1:54:04Speaker 6: You've seen the brother in Florida State, you've seen him
- 1:54:07Speaker 6: in New Orleans, and he's been about to hit the
- 1:54:09Speaker 6: stage right.
- 1:54:10Speaker 1: Now for Cleveland. Give it up for famous, Jeames, I.
- 1:54:19Speaker 8: Felt the brother. If you can't say a word, just
- 1:54:21Speaker 8: wave your hand. I felt him on that I felt James, James,
- 1:54:25Speaker 8: of all of them, you would feel wavering faith.
- 1:54:28Speaker 3: I'm wavering. That was his own.
- 1:54:32Speaker 6: And the other thing, y I waited faith something in
- 1:54:35Speaker 6: the law before something else in the law.
- 1:54:38Speaker 3: That the game that's wrong to before the law. That's
- 1:54:41Speaker 3: why that boy played ball like that put his faith
- 1:54:43Speaker 3: in trust. And if you watch this game with Cleveland
- 1:54:46Speaker 3: beating Baltimore, and you watch the last two plays that
- 1:54:51Speaker 3: Jameis Winston played on the field, it was a true
- 1:54:56Speaker 3: summation of Jameis Winston as an NFL quarterback. It was
- 1:55:02Speaker 3: the epitome of James. When it was like if you
- 1:55:08Speaker 3: could just that, it was like a famous Edgar Allen
- 1:55:13Speaker 3: Pole quote or poem. Yes, those two plays, if that
- 1:55:18Speaker 3: was not Jameis Winston. He went from literally throwing the
- 1:55:23Speaker 3: ball to the safety Hamilton of Baltimore like he dropped
- 1:55:29Speaker 3: the ball, he dropped the interception because I think he
- 1:55:32Speaker 3: thought maybe the play was dead because who throws the
- 1:55:35Speaker 3: ball right to me? To the next play throwing a
- 1:55:40Speaker 3: beautiful corner route to Tillman the receiver, And it was
- 1:55:45Speaker 3: like that is it is like as much as you
- 1:55:48Speaker 3: get good, you get bad with him and that's has
- 1:55:52Speaker 3: been the quandary. He in his time in the league
- 1:55:54Speaker 3: has not been able to be more of one than
- 1:55:59Speaker 3: he is of the.
- 1:56:02Speaker 8: It really is just he hit that heartbeat from Tell
- 1:56:06Speaker 8: Tale Heart. You said, Edgar Poe's one in that heartbeat.
- 1:56:12Speaker 3: He just he can do one thing. He can throw
- 1:56:15Speaker 3: for five hundred yards and five touchdowns, but five in
- 1:56:20Speaker 3: this episode. It's just been his career. Yesterday, the Browns
- 1:56:25Speaker 3: winning twenty nine twenty four over the Ravens and probably
- 1:56:28Speaker 3: the surprise win of the weekend with James Winston starting
- 1:56:34Speaker 3: in this game Baltimore looking past them, Lamar had his
- 1:56:39Speaker 3: hair down, and next thing you know, James is winning
- 1:56:43Speaker 3: a game.
- 1:56:44Speaker 6: On Raven faith and some other stuff I said about
- 1:56:47Speaker 6: the Lord. Yes, yes, if you just wave your hand,
- 1:56:51Speaker 6: you'll believe it.
- 1:56:52Speaker 3: The Falcons defeating the Bucks yesterday in a pretty good
- 1:56:56Speaker 3: game as well, if you miss it. Thirty one twenty six,
- 1:56:59Speaker 3: Kirk Cousin big things, Baker Mayfield gamer without his top
- 1:57:05Speaker 3: two receivers, and Evans and Godwin still able to give
- 1:57:10Speaker 3: Tampa a chance to hel Mary at the end. So
- 1:57:15Speaker 3: Tampa Bay a good opponent, but Atlanta now has That
- 1:57:18Speaker 3: was a big victory because that means they've beat Tampa twice,
- 1:57:23Speaker 3: so that puts them in a solid foundation. Knowing in
- 1:57:27Speaker 3: the division I beat Tampa twice, Carolina most likely is
- 1:57:33Speaker 3: not going to shake enough regardless of you know, and
- 1:57:36Speaker 3: you already beat them as well. So now really only
- 1:57:41Speaker 3: the Saints are head but the Falcons R. Five and three,
- 1:57:45Speaker 3: Kirk Cousin and these guys are in a little groove.
- 1:57:49Speaker 3: And my man, Kyle Pitts, you were right there, man,
- 1:57:54Speaker 3: I had the ocean already for you. You lucky. I
- 1:57:58Speaker 3: don't know what's with this young generation between just go
- 1:58:03Speaker 3: score when I played, which it rarely happened back then,
- 1:58:10Speaker 3: and now to be out and watch and it typically
- 1:58:13Speaker 3: happens more in college. I don't understand, and I can't
- 1:58:16Speaker 3: really understand other than talking to other players. The pre
- 1:58:22Speaker 3: mature celebration. Joe Horn Jr. I think that's his tacy.
- 1:58:31Speaker 3: What's his name for jac for the Panthers or Colorado?
- 1:58:35Speaker 3: Oh m Jimmy Jimmy Horn got the touchdown callback about
- 1:58:41Speaker 3: the ten yard line he had made about two people
- 1:58:43Speaker 3: missed and out ran the other guy and gave him
- 1:58:45Speaker 3: the peace sign. Well, in college, if you do that
- 1:58:48Speaker 3: before you score, they called a touchdown back Kyle pitt yesterday.
- 1:58:53Speaker 3: Clear touchdown you do is run in. I don't know
- 1:58:57Speaker 3: this this thing where I need to show you you
- 1:59:00Speaker 3: up to where I'm saying, I'm so fast you couldn't
- 1:59:03Speaker 3: have got I don't know what it is because I
- 1:59:05Speaker 3: never played receiver or you know, an only touchdown ever scored.
- 1:59:08Speaker 3: I jumped on it because it was a fumble. So
- 1:59:10Speaker 3: it's not like I understand the mindset. But it's no
- 1:59:14Speaker 3: more running to the end zone. Score and then do
- 1:59:16Speaker 3: you especially now in college, they let you celebrate a
- 1:59:20Speaker 3: little more. But for Kyle Pitts to sit there and
- 1:59:24Speaker 3: very questionable. I think if they had another camera angle,
- 1:59:27Speaker 3: they just didn't have that sideline camera angle, he could
- 1:59:30Speaker 3: have missed that touchdown. But he was on my boat,
- 1:59:34Speaker 3: bick Kenny. I was ready. I was going to anchor
- 1:59:36Speaker 3: him walk in.
- 1:59:40Speaker 6: And I think sometimes that I'm confused when was scoring
- 1:59:45Speaker 6: in front of eighty thousand people. Not enough attention for you.
- 1:59:49Speaker 6: You see what I'm saying. Right that used to get
- 1:59:52Speaker 6: you all the attention you needed. But now these dudes
- 1:59:54Speaker 6: have to do you know, they got to do the dance.
- 1:59:56Speaker 3: I think it's the video game maybe they're doing it
- 1:59:59Speaker 3: to try to get something on a video game. And Greg,
- 2:00:04Speaker 3: I'm not gonna let you off the Cowboys. I know
- 2:00:07Speaker 3: you thought he was gonna do the show without speaking
- 2:00:09Speaker 3: about him.
- 2:00:10Speaker 5: And at three and four, how about they might as
- 2:00:13Speaker 5: well be oh and seven, because that's how they get
- 2:00:15Speaker 5: talked about.
- 2:00:15Speaker 3: The Cowboys and the great Hail Mary Washington able to
- 2:00:19Speaker 3: at the end of the game, Jaydon Daniels, the young man,
- 2:00:23Speaker 3: Tyreek Stevenson, the cornerback. I don't know what they're gonna
- 2:00:28Speaker 3: do with him. They might suspend him for a week.
- 2:00:31Speaker 3: On that play, Hell, Mary play where he was over
- 2:00:34Speaker 3: here the play had started, he was still over there
- 2:00:36Speaker 3: talking to the fans. I don't know what that all
- 2:00:42Speaker 3: was about. But we'll see Mike see on the ticker
- 2:00:46Speaker 3: that he has been suspended. Yeah, he wanted to tip
- 2:00:50Speaker 3: the ball. He got over there to tip the ball
- 2:00:52Speaker 3: because he ran into it. He was supposed to already
- 2:00:55Speaker 3: be over there. He was supposed to already be in
- 2:00:58Speaker 3: the group. He ran into the play. We'll be Ba
- 2:01:02Speaker 3: and we are an ocean. The truth is he will
- 2:01:07Speaker 3: throw your in the ocean. It's time to wrap things
- 2:01:11Speaker 3: up on the Sports jud Show with Wayne Kenny when
- 2:01:37Speaker 3: you're the House of the Ocean against the sports talk.
- 2:01:39Speaker 3: Just a minute to Ben. We'd like to thank you
- 2:01:41Speaker 3: for tuning in to today's show. Bick Kenny, you man,
- 2:01:43Speaker 3: you Greg bat producer, thank you for your contribution. If
- 2:01:47Speaker 3: you miss any of the shows, you can go to
- 2:01:48Speaker 3: Apple Podcast, Amazon Podcast, dzer IHRT Radio, Spotify and catch
- 2:01:55Speaker 3: the replay of the show. W NBA, they did fire
- 2:02:01Speaker 3: Christy Sykes for Indiana. That make six head coaches in
- 2:02:06Speaker 3: the WNBA fire this year. There's only thirteen teams. That's
- 2:02:12Speaker 3: a lot of current They on fire to half the
- 2:02:14Speaker 3: coaches in the league.
- 2:02:16Speaker 7: Wow.
- 2:02:17Speaker 3: But going in the ushan today it's Indianapolis coach quarterback
- 2:02:23Speaker 3: Anthony Richardson. I think the concussions you have sustained confused you. Anthony.
- 2:02:32Speaker 3: You tapped out like it was a basketball game. I
- 2:02:37Speaker 3: don't know what you were doing. What do you mean
- 2:02:39Speaker 3: you need to break? You scrambled two times and now
- 2:02:42Speaker 3: you're tapping your helmet to sit in the backup. That's
- 2:02:46Speaker 3: not football. What is going on?
- 2:02:49Speaker 9: Man?
- 2:02:49Speaker 3: Go back to the huddle. These new athletes that y'all
- 2:02:54Speaker 3: have to decide to usher in that I just don't
- 2:02:57Speaker 3: understand and everybody was thinking confusing, maybe he reactivated or
- 2:03:03Speaker 3: injured his achilles or whatever. He had surged your own
- 2:03:06Speaker 3: last year. But he literally tapped his helmet like it
- 2:03:10Speaker 3: was a basketball game and got out of the game
- 2:03:13Speaker 3: for a play to catch his breath. Great talent, immature disposition.
- 2:03:22Speaker 3: What did you say, come in, he's tied. It's hot,
- 2:03:25Speaker 3: he's tied. Telling about the gunline. Tell about the gun line, man,
- 2:03:30Speaker 3: telling them about the gunline. One shock, the shack clear
- 2:03:34Speaker 3: around the yard. So for that, Anthony Richards tapping out
- 2:03:38Speaker 3: the game for a play, fuck up plank. Remember tonight
- 2:03:52Speaker 3: the Giant at Distillers, the Dodgers at the Yankees from
- 2:03:58Speaker 3: the sportshot shows peace
