Cllr Confirms Tenant Repaid In RTB Case And Calls For Fair And Transparent Dispute System
A Clare County Councillor at the centre of an rental dispute has confirmed she's repaid her tenant in full following an RTB determination, but has called for a review of the tribunal process. The Residential Tenancies Board ordered Councillor Rita McInerney to repay tenant Bartosz Milinski the sum of €5,100 in overpaid rent after it was found a rent review served in March last year, raising the rent from €650 monthly which had been the rate since 2019 to €1,500 was invalid.
