- 0:09Speaker 3: Good evening and welcome to the readA Panekey show.
- 0:12Speaker 4: Coming up tonight, Chris Bowen's green energy tour.
- 0:15Speaker 3: To China and India.
- 0:16Speaker 4: The Climate Change Minister trying to convince major polluters to
- 0:20Speaker 4: invest in Labour's renewables roll out.
- 0:23Speaker 3: The Panel will weigh on that. Shortly the Australian.
- 0:26Speaker 4: Human Rights Commission disgraces itself again. Stephanie Bastian will be
- 0:31Speaker 4: here to take us through their latest bit of radical activism.
- 0:35Speaker 4: The Great Josh Hammer will have the laters from the
- 0:37Speaker 4: US and he responds to Candace Owen's allegations against him.
- 0:42Speaker 3: And later in the.
- 0:43Speaker 4: Hour, Kinsis Schofield on Prince Andrew's growing woes and Left
- 0:49Speaker 4: is Losing It features this loser.
- 0:52Speaker 2: I wasn't going to say anything about Charlie Cook, but don't.
- 0:56Speaker 2: There's nothing funny about it. Gone how you tested me?
- 0:58Speaker 2: I mean this, there's nothing funny about it.
- 1:02Speaker 4: But first to Senator Lydia Thorpe, who had this to
- 1:06Speaker 4: say during a speech at a pro Palestinian rally in
- 1:09Speaker 4: Melbourne yesterday.
- 1:11Speaker 2: We stand with you every day and we will fight
- 1:16Speaker 2: every day and we will turn up every day.
- 1:21Speaker 4: And if I have to burn down Parliament House to
- 1:24Speaker 4: make a point.
- 1:29Speaker 5: I am not then make him.
- 1:32Speaker 3: I never jump the crown people.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Senator Thorpe now claims her threat to burn down Parliament
- 1:42Speaker 4: House was clearly a figure of speech and not a
- 1:46Speaker 4: literal threat. Joining me now for more on this is
- 1:49Speaker 4: Menzies Research Center Senior Fellow NIKATA and Chief Economist at
- 1:53Speaker 4: the Institute of Public Affairs, Adam Crichton Nick. I'll start
- 1:57Speaker 4: with you, Lydia Thorpe said she's not there to make friends.
- 2:01Speaker 4: What do you make of her explanation that the arson
- 2:05Speaker 4: threat was a figure of speech.
- 2:09Speaker 6: Well, if it was a figure of a speech, it
- 2:11Speaker 6: was a very ill chosen one, wasn't it, Given that
- 2:13Speaker 6: we've had a synagogue torched in Victoria. It's not an
- 2:19Speaker 6: idol threat. I mean, you know what it's like if
- 2:21Speaker 6: you were to make that kind of comment, say when
- 2:23Speaker 6: you're going through the security at an airport, they wouldn't
- 2:27Speaker 6: be laughing at the joke. You'd be straight off into
- 2:29Speaker 6: the in for questioning, as she should be. I mean,
- 2:32Speaker 6: she's broken. I can see she's broke the law. She's
- 2:35Speaker 6: broke the state law. She's broken the procedures of the Parliament,
- 2:39Speaker 6: and she's dishonored her role as a senator. But you know,
- 2:42Speaker 6: I think in the end read to recognize what's going
- 2:44Speaker 6: on here. I think most parents of teenagers we'll see
- 2:48Speaker 6: exactly what's going on here. It's somebody who never has
- 2:52Speaker 6: to face the consequences for her tantrums and her outposts,
- 2:55Speaker 6: and she'll carry on until she does.
- 3:00Speaker 4: Adam dishonored her role, dishonored the upper house, the Senate.
- 3:05Speaker 4: But she's a repeat offender when it comes to that.
- 3:08Speaker 4: She's a fairly radical individual. Do you think anything's going
- 3:13Speaker 4: to come of this or is it just going to
- 3:15Speaker 4: get a few more headlines, which she loves.
- 3:17Speaker 3: She's a very very good.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Politicians politician when it comes to getting those headlines and
- 3:23Speaker 4: getting the sort of coverage, I think she's quite happy
- 3:25Speaker 4: to receive.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Yeah, certainly, she probably is. I think that the Prime
- 3:28Speaker 1: Minister should have condemned her. I think Penny Wong should
- 3:30Speaker 1: have come out and said something they haven't so far. Certainly,
- 3:32Speaker 1: I think if a senator on the right had said
- 3:34Speaker 1: anything like this, you would have afp knocking at the
- 3:37Speaker 1: door within a few hours and the fact that that
- 3:39Speaker 1: hasn't happened. I think that's very telling. But frankly, I'm
- 3:41Speaker 1: kind of more concerned about her mental health basically than
- 3:45Speaker 1: the parliament House. I think she's rather unhinged and the
- 3:49Speaker 1: rhetoric that she uses is so extreme. And also if
- 3:51Speaker 1: you look at the words she just said about, you know,
- 3:52Speaker 1: seeking justice for the Palestinians, well she can't do that
- 3:56Speaker 1: from the Senate in Canberra that it's just completely ridiculous.
- 3:58Speaker 1: So she just jumps on these protest movements. They've really
- 4:01Speaker 1: got nothing to do with her. I mean, she's extrad have.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Made this line there.
- 4:06Speaker 4: If you go to any of these pro Palestinian rallies,
- 4:09Speaker 4: you'll see that they try to equate the so called
- 4:14Speaker 4: indigenous fight with a Palestinian fight. They say it's similar
- 4:17Speaker 4: themes of a colonialism stolen land, even though the Jewish
- 4:22Speaker 4: people are the indigenous people when it comes to Israel,
- 4:24Speaker 4: they make those sorts of arguments. So there is this
- 4:30Speaker 4: clear line between these two activist groups and they're almost
- 4:35Speaker 4: into changeable at this point.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Well, look, she's trying to make that analogy, but it's
- 4:38Speaker 1: a ridiculous analogy. There is no war there's no war
- 4:41Speaker 1: in Australia. There's no terrorism in Australia, you know from
- 4:44Speaker 1: the indigenous people here, and thank goodness for that. So
- 4:47Speaker 1: it's a ridiculous analogy, you know. I think that this,
- 4:49Speaker 1: you know, when the piece, you know, let's hope this
- 4:51Speaker 1: piece is permanent, that we'll probably talk about. So when
- 4:53Speaker 1: that settles down, I think this protest movement will also
- 4:55Speaker 1: settle down.
- 4:56Speaker 4: To now talking about that piece still the historic Palestinian
- 5:01Speaker 4: Palestinian Israel piece still broken by Donald Trump. He's achieved
- 5:06Speaker 4: what no other world leader has been able to do,
- 5:08Speaker 4: and he's done it with the input of the Arab world,
- 5:13Speaker 4: the Muslim world, including.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Countries like Indonesia.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Nick, there are a lot of commentators who have egg
- 5:20Speaker 4: on their face. Yeah, they could not understand the strategy
- 5:24Speaker 4: Donald Trump was employing. They couldn't understand why he puts
- 5:28Speaker 4: someone like Steve Whitkoff into the role he did as
- 5:31Speaker 4: his special envoid to the Middle East.
- 5:34Speaker 3: And they've been made fools off yet again. This keeps
- 5:38Speaker 3: happening when it comes to Donald Trump.
- 5:42Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, the things outside the box, doesn't it
- 5:44Speaker 6: And this is what you need in the world of diplomacy.
- 5:46Speaker 6: Obviously somebody had come in and just cut through all
- 5:49Speaker 6: the nonsense that you get from the officials and just say, well, actually,
- 5:53Speaker 6: what do we want to achieve? How are we going
- 5:55Speaker 6: to do it? I think this being able to bring
- 5:58Speaker 6: the Muslim world along with him is a tremendous achievement,
- 6:02Speaker 6: and I think we're going to need that. Of course,
- 6:04Speaker 6: when it comes to bringing ultimately peace to Gaza, it's
- 6:08Speaker 6: going to need the involvement of Arab nations to get
- 6:11Speaker 6: in there as peacekeepers, which will be very difficult for them.
- 6:14Speaker 6: But yeah, it's great. I briefly thought that the weekend
- 6:16Speaker 6: Rita about turning up at that Palestinian rally with a
- 6:19Speaker 6: Maga hat on, you know, thinking that they'd all be
- 6:22Speaker 6: wearing them right now.
- 6:23Speaker 7: Perhaps not.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Oh well, no, I would not advise that you do that, Nick,
- 6:30Speaker 4: I care about your personal safety and that would not
- 6:33Speaker 4: be a good idea. Steve Wodkough, Donald Trump, you basically
- 6:38Speaker 4: have two real estate guys, Adam, who've been able to
- 6:41Speaker 4: achieve what diplomats and politicians for years, decades before them
- 6:46Speaker 4: really couldn't dream of achieving. They've turned the whole diplomacy
- 6:50Speaker 4: in that area on its head. Then, tie thinking with
- 6:53Speaker 4: the Abraham McCords and now this deal.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Yeah, look, it's a fantastic deal and let's hope that
- 6:58Speaker 1: it sticks. I think it has been certainly some humiliation
- 7:02Speaker 1: for the traditional.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Diplomatic establishment, as you say.
- 7:05Speaker 1: And look, I think we saw that with former President
- 7:07Speaker 1: Barack Obama's tweet this week, when you know, he lavished
- 7:09Speaker 1: all his praise on the deal, but he didn't even
- 7:11Speaker 1: mention Donald Trump, which.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Was just quite athetic.
- 7:15Speaker 1: And so I do think that by this time next
- 7:17Speaker 1: year we should be hearing that Donald Trump is the
- 7:20Speaker 1: recipient of the next Nobel Prize for Peace. It should
- 7:22Speaker 1: be I mean, the cut off dates the thirtieth of
- 7:24Speaker 1: January or something, but.
- 7:25Speaker 4: It's already done several piece stills before the nomination period
- 7:31Speaker 4: was over, so he is I think this is his
- 7:33Speaker 4: eighth piece still this year.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Look, I mean, you know, this whole episode has just
- 7:37Speaker 1: made us reflect on how ridiculous the Nobel Prize for
- 7:40Speaker 1: Barack Obama was for peace. I can't even think what
- 7:42Speaker 1: he actually did.
- 7:43Speaker 3: He got a leg broker.
- 7:45Speaker 4: But it's fantastic that the woman who actually won the
- 7:48Speaker 4: prize heaped praise on Donald Trump on American television as well.
- 7:53Speaker 4: Which was I think very much unexpected for the interview.
- 7:57Speaker 4: In that case, Now let's talk about client a Change
- 8:00Speaker 4: and Energy Minister Crispo and one of our favorites on
- 8:03Speaker 4: this program. He's going on a green energy to ur
- 8:06Speaker 4: to China and India for high level meetings where he
- 8:09Speaker 4: will urge those two major polluters to invest in Labour's renewables.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Roll out, nigger.
- 8:17Speaker 4: What sort of reception will Crispo and receive Do you think.
- 8:22Speaker 6: They stopped laughing in China? They'll get a very warm
- 8:26Speaker 6: welcome in China Becausea's making a motza out of this
- 8:29Speaker 6: whole thing, right, isn't that China is the is the
- 8:33Speaker 6: renewable energy superpower. It's the only one that's there, certainly
- 8:37Speaker 6: not on Australia. They make all the stuff, they sell
- 8:40Speaker 6: it to us, and they would love to do direct
- 8:43Speaker 6: investment in it. They would love to own all our
- 8:45Speaker 6: solar palms, all our windmills, the whole lot, because they've
- 8:49Speaker 6: got strategic interest in it. So I think it's big.
- 8:52Speaker 6: We think very carefully before he does it. But this
- 8:55Speaker 6: does remind me a bit of the last days of
- 8:57Speaker 6: the Whitlam government in a way. Do you remember that
- 8:59Speaker 6: they went off to them at leads to see this
- 9:01Speaker 6: chap Kim Lanney, who turned out to be a total
- 9:04Speaker 6: shyster who was going to lend them some money. And
- 9:07Speaker 6: this is where Bowen's at with his renewable scheme. Nobody
- 9:10Speaker 6: wants to invest in the thing because it's a dog.
- 9:12Speaker 6: Nobody wants a bar of it, and he's having to
- 9:15Speaker 6: chase all around the world to try and find somebody
- 9:17Speaker 6: to put some money into it.
- 9:20Speaker 4: As long as it's not the Australian taxpayer putting more
- 9:23Speaker 4: money into it, Adam, because that seems to be what's happening.
- 9:25Speaker 4: And you've got Chris Bowen going on this trip as
- 9:30Speaker 4: a top official from his climate change department, makes the
- 9:34Speaker 4: most captain obvious of comments. You can imagine that Australia
- 9:38Speaker 4: is twenty thirty five emissions reduction target, as bold as
- 9:41Speaker 4: it is, is going to have little impact on global
- 9:43Speaker 4: warming if other nations do not so called pull their weight.
- 9:49Speaker 3: I don't think every other nation is.
- 9:51Speaker 4: As interested as impoverishing themselves and destroying their manufacturing sector
- 9:56Speaker 4: and sending their energy prices through the roofers.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Perhaps we are, Adam, No, that's true.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Look, it's only the very richest countries in the world
- 10:01Speaker 1: that can even do this for a time because they
- 10:04Speaker 1: can afford to countries like India cannot. And I think
- 10:07Speaker 1: I think the reception that Chris bow And is going
- 10:09Speaker 1: to receive an India is going to be, you know,
- 10:11Speaker 1: I guess a polite smile and some laughter in private,
- 10:14Speaker 1: I would say, because there's a country that cares about
- 10:16Speaker 1: the energy costs for its people, and so that's that's
- 10:18Speaker 1: the number one the number one priority. They're also you know,
- 10:21Speaker 1: the trip highlights the inconsistency. You know, we export so
- 10:24Speaker 1: much cold but it's okay for them to use it,
- 10:26Speaker 1: but it's not okay for us to use it. You know,
- 10:28Speaker 1: the emissions count for theirs but not for ours. I mean,
- 10:30Speaker 1: it just it just highlights the ridiculousness of you know,
- 10:32Speaker 1: the whole emissions framework.
- 10:35Speaker 4: So yeah, well yeah, I mean the whole Adani mine.
- 10:37Speaker 4: I mean, you know, where what purpose that was supposed
- 10:40Speaker 4: to serve. I just can see thirty forty years from now,
- 10:46Speaker 4: maybe one hundred years from now, people looking back at
- 10:48Speaker 4: this entire period of time and developed nations and what
- 10:54Speaker 4: they did with their energy policy and just marveling at, well,
- 10:58Speaker 4: how we got there? How we kind of convinced ourselves
- 11:01Speaker 4: this was the right path to be on.
- 11:03Speaker 1: It's think I would say that we won't have to
- 11:05Speaker 1: wait that long. I think five years the wheels are
- 11:07Speaker 1: going to fall off. It's going to start hopeful than
- 11:10Speaker 1: I am sous. It is too expensive, there's too.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Many people to committed for that to happen.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Yet, now, before you go, we've got to talk about
- 11:18Speaker 4: Victoria at least a little bit to the Australian Industry
- 11:20Speaker 4: Group has warned that the state's economy is in fast decline,
- 11:25Speaker 4: with almost nine out of every ten jobs created being
- 11:29Speaker 4: backed by the government by visus into Allen government.
- 11:32Speaker 3: That's compared to pre pandemic.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Levels where just over three in every ten jobs was
- 11:39Speaker 4: government funded.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Nine out of ten. Goodness me Australian Industry Group Chief.
- 11:44Speaker 4: Executive Inns Wilcox rights, after years of anti business retric policy,
- 11:50Speaker 4: drift crippling regulations and ever rising taxes and energy bills,
- 11:54Speaker 4: Victoria has become the hardest state in Australia to do
- 11:58Speaker 4: business in.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Wow.
- 12:00Speaker 4: That means it's just not sustainable, is it? Adam to
- 12:04Speaker 4: have nine out of ten jobs government funded when that government,
- 12:09Speaker 4: when that state is in terrible debt, the biggest state
- 12:13Speaker 4: debt in the country by something.
- 12:14Speaker 1: So it's very sad. I mean, the state of Victoria
- 12:17Speaker 1: used to be a manufacturing powerhouse. That was all you know,
- 12:19Speaker 1: the private sector largely, it's certainly not now nine out
- 12:22Speaker 1: of ten really is very concerning, and no wonder we
- 12:24Speaker 1: have a productivity crisis because the productivity of these sorts
- 12:28Speaker 1: of jobs, of these government sponsored jobs, is very very low,
- 12:31Speaker 1: and so no wonder the productivity growth stats have been falling.
- 12:36Speaker 1: The solution, of course, is to cut regulation, cut taxes,
- 12:39Speaker 1: not just in Victoria, by the way, but all around
- 12:40Speaker 1: the country. Just remains to see what, you know, what's
- 12:43Speaker 1: going to happen. But these are easy votes for the
- 12:45Speaker 1: state government, you know, because once you're hiring someone, once
- 12:47Speaker 1: you have them on the payer, off with it directly
- 12:49Speaker 1: or indirectly, they are more likely to vote for you.
- 12:52Speaker 1: That's another sad aspect of this.
- 12:53Speaker 4: Yes, Nick, it may be economically idiotic, but it's good
- 12:59Speaker 4: for labor. More people you have on the government payroll,
- 13:02Speaker 4: the more voters you're securing.
- 13:06Speaker 6: Well, exactly right, and this is a great victory of
- 13:08Speaker 6: cause for those people who keep protesting on various causes.
- 13:12Speaker 6: With the central theme bring down capitalism. They're about to
- 13:15Speaker 6: bring down capitalism, it seems in Victoria, which you know,
- 13:19Speaker 6: those of us outside the state, we might just shrug
- 13:21Speaker 6: our shoulders, except that because we're going to have to
- 13:24Speaker 6: pay for it, you know, we're the state. The federal
- 13:26Speaker 6: government will end up bail them out in whatever capacity
- 13:29Speaker 6: they have to do it, and you know, we're not
- 13:31Speaker 6: keen on that. We just like Victorians to sort of
- 13:34Speaker 6: lift their game a little bit and actually realize that
- 13:37Speaker 6: wealth creation is actually more fundamental to actually making the
- 13:42Speaker 6: economy work than wealth distribution.
- 13:47Speaker 4: Niketa Adam Crichton, thank you so much for a time tonight.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Now to revelations that the Jacinta Alan government and the
- 13:53Speaker 4: Department of Education here in Victoria have been allowing students
- 13:57Speaker 4: to socially transition physician their gender in schools without the
- 14:02Speaker 4: knowledge or consent of their parents. The Australian reports State
- 14:07Speaker 4: Education Department documents show it is departmental policy for teachers
- 14:11Speaker 4: and other school staff to use the concept of mature
- 14:15Speaker 4: minor consent to enable the transitions. Joining me now is
- 14:21Speaker 4: head of Advocacy at Women's Foreign Australia, Stephanie Bastian Stephanie,
- 14:26Speaker 4: tell me what mature minor consent means and how it's
- 14:31Speaker 4: being used to essentially blindside parents.
- 14:37Speaker 8: Well, good Evening Reader.
- 14:38Speaker 9: It was primarily based on the Gillick competence level, a
- 14:41Speaker 9: case in the UK that determined that some miners could
- 14:43Speaker 9: access medical treatment things like contraception without parental consent. But
- 14:48Speaker 9: in Australia there's no minimum level of what an age
- 14:52Speaker 9: for the age a child can be to be determined
- 14:55Speaker 9: to be Gillick competent, So this is now being left
- 14:58Speaker 9: up to teachers and principles to de What we have
- 15:01Speaker 9: in Victoria is a gender education that's being rolled out.
- 15:05Speaker 8: Kids are being exposed to gender ideology from a very
- 15:07Speaker 8: young age.
- 15:08Speaker 9: In fact, for my daughter when we're living in Victoria,
- 15:10Speaker 9: it was four years old where they are encouraged to
- 15:14Speaker 9: try dressing up in the other genders dress ups, or
- 15:17Speaker 9: they were reading stories. So kids are being introduced to
- 15:20Speaker 9: dangerous gender ideology from a very young age. Then if
- 15:23Speaker 9: these conversations evolved with their teachers where they are curious
- 15:26Speaker 9: about it, the teachers can then determine whether or not
- 15:29Speaker 9: these children are mature miners and socially transition them in school.
- 15:33Speaker 9: The problem with this is that we know that the
- 15:35Speaker 9: majority of cases where children are socially transitioned, they then
- 15:38Speaker 9: move on to a pathway of medical transition which includes
- 15:42Speaker 9: cross sex hormones, puberty blockers, all which have serious health
- 15:46Speaker 9: implications for these children. So it's incredibly damning that they're
- 15:50Speaker 9: not keeping records on how many children.
- 15:52Speaker 8: Are being subjected to this. It's very intentional that they're not.
- 15:55Speaker 9: I've had teachers speak to me I've left the profession
- 15:58Speaker 9: because they spend more time ticking than they do actually teaching.
- 16:02Speaker 8: So the fact that they're not they're.
- 16:04Speaker 9: Not keeping these records is absolutely intentional.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Stephanie.
- 16:09Speaker 4: It's not just the kids who are being indoctrinated, it
- 16:12Speaker 4: is the teachers, it is the bureaucracy. It is very
- 16:16Speaker 4: clear that radical gender theory has completely captured the Education
- 16:23Speaker 4: Department and it's all we are seeing as far as
- 16:26Speaker 4: the messaging on this important topic. Now, let's talk about
- 16:29Speaker 4: the Australian Human Rights Commission. They've named doctor Michelle Telfer
- 16:35Speaker 4: as a finalist for its Human Rights Medal. This is
- 16:38Speaker 4: a woman who is one of the leading advocates of
- 16:41Speaker 4: the affirmation model and child gender transitions in Australia. Stephanie,
- 16:47Speaker 4: what was your reaction when you heard of this nomination?
- 16:50Speaker 9: I thought it was utterly absurd and an indication of
- 16:53Speaker 9: the Australian Human Rights Commission protecting one of its so
- 16:56Speaker 9: and we know that they are pushing gender ideology everywhere.
- 16:59Speaker 9: I mean she was named just a matter of months
- 17:01Speaker 9: ago and a very damning judgment by Justice Strum where
- 17:04Speaker 9: a mother was trying to twelve year old boy on
- 17:08Speaker 9: puberty blockers without an official gender dysk warrior diagnosis.
- 17:15Speaker 8: Absolutely criminal.
- 17:16Speaker 9: She likened the restriction of medical affirming care for gender dysphoric.
- 17:21Speaker 8: Children, as you know, in line with Nazism. It's just
- 17:26Speaker 8: she's she's an absolute activist.
- 17:29Speaker 9: Her treatments have caused enormous damage everywhere. We've heard from
- 17:35Speaker 9: detransitioners like mel Jeffries and Courtney Colson.
- 17:39Speaker 8: Harm has followed with what she's rolled out to these
- 17:41Speaker 8: gender clinics. So it's appalling that they have nominated for
- 17:44Speaker 8: her for this award.
- 17:46Speaker 9: And if you compare the way that she is being
- 17:48Speaker 9: propped up compared to whistleblowers like Jillian Spencer, it's absolutely appalling.
- 17:54Speaker 4: Yes, doctor Gillian Spencer has put everything on the line
- 17:58Speaker 4: suspended from her for speaking out, for standing up for
- 18:03Speaker 4: vulnerable kids, confused kids going down often a dangerous path.
- 18:08Speaker 4: And meanwhile we've got activists who are getting glowing pieces
- 18:12Speaker 4: published by the National Broadcaster. Now let's stick with the
- 18:16Speaker 4: Australian Human Rights Commission. One of its commissioners, the Sex
- 18:20Speaker 4: Discrimination Commissioner, no less, doctor Anacody, doesn't understand the term biological.
- 18:27Speaker 10: Men, lesbians, trans women, non binary. There are a range
- 18:36Speaker 10: of people who identify as women who are women.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Did you mean that biological males can be women.
- 18:43Speaker 10: Men? So I think we have different language that perhaps
- 18:48Speaker 10: you're using that I would use. So I don't understand
- 18:51Speaker 10: the term biological men.
- 18:54Speaker 3: There you go.
- 18:54Speaker 4: She doesn't understand the term biological men. Hackn She prefers
- 19:00Speaker 4: for her role as a sex Discrimination commissioner if she
- 19:04Speaker 4: doesn't understand the term biological men or biological women.
- 19:10Speaker 9: She can't and she's not And it's very clear that
- 19:12Speaker 9: she's there to push an agenda. I mean, the problem
- 19:15Speaker 9: with what she is doing is that her words hold weight.
- 19:18Speaker 9: She intervened in the Tickle versus Giggle case and said
- 19:21Speaker 9: that men who wanted to be pregnant should have the
- 19:24Speaker 9: same legal rights as women who are pregnant. She's an
- 19:27Speaker 9: absolute activist and her policies are causing harm. They're stripping
- 19:31Speaker 9: women of their human rights, and quite frankly, she should resign.
- 19:37Speaker 4: And the fact that she had nothing to say when
- 19:39Speaker 4: you have a male sexual predator, a man with male
- 19:44Speaker 4: genitalia who has committed unspeakable acts, being housed in a
- 19:49Speaker 4: women's prison with vulnerable women, and you've got the sex
- 19:53Speaker 4: Discrimination Commissioner the Australian Human Rights Commission saying nothing about
- 19:57Speaker 4: the human rights of those female prisoners is being infringed upon.
- 20:02Speaker 4: I mean that just tells you the entire Human Rights
- 20:04Speaker 4: Commission is not fit for purpose.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Stephanie Bastian, thank you so much for your time. Tonight.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Pleasure still to karma.
- 20:12Speaker 4: Lefties Losing It class the latest from the US, including
- 20:15Speaker 4: the unhinged behavior of a California governor.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Front runner Josh Hammer has the details.
- 20:32Speaker 4: You're watching the reader Panety Show, and it's time for
- 20:35Speaker 4: lefties losing it. Let's start the week with some cringe
- 20:39Speaker 4: content courtesy of Hollywood. Here is Jeff Fridges on Jimmy
- 20:44Speaker 4: Kimmel's awful program, reprising his dude character.
- 20:48Speaker 3: It does not go.
- 20:49Speaker 7: Well, yeah, ice, let's get ice off our streets.
- 20:57Speaker 3: And into our do not scare hi, right, right, So
- 21:04Speaker 3: let's just abide, abide together. Yes, we can do there.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Now that's just like my opinion, but that's a good one.
- 21:15Speaker 6: That's a pretty great opinion.
- 21:18Speaker 4: You can see why Jimmy Kimmel's ratings are circling the
- 21:23Speaker 4: drain after that little suspension bump. Not only is he miserable,
- 21:28Speaker 4: unfunny and cringe, but so his guests and talking about
- 21:32Speaker 4: miserable and unfunny. Let's check in on alleged comic Trevor
- 21:36Speaker 4: Noah who decided he was going to make jokes about
- 21:39Speaker 4: Charlie Kirk and his murder, and he did that by
- 21:43Speaker 4: lying about it. He might think this is edgy, but
- 21:46Speaker 4: it's just trash, unfunny, dumb, trash, lacking any whit or insight.
- 21:52Speaker 2: I wasn't going to say anything about Charlie Cook, but don't.
- 21:56Speaker 2: There's nothing funny about it. On now you tested me.
- 21:58Speaker 2: I mean, there's nothing funny about it. You can't say
- 22:02Speaker 2: there's nothing funny about it now, there's nothing fun No,
- 22:05Speaker 2: don't say that because there's a comedian. I'll be like,
- 22:07Speaker 2: I'm sure, there's something funny about it. The guy was
- 22:10Speaker 2: shot while defending guns. Do you understand how I'm not
- 22:13Speaker 2: even writing that as a joke. As a human, you
- 22:16Speaker 2: have to admit that is an incongruous, funny thing that happens.
- 22:20Speaker 2: You are there on You're like on stage, You're like,
- 22:22Speaker 2: let me tell you why people should have guns.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Ah, what a pitiful jerk.
- 22:29Speaker 4: And for the record, Charlie wasn't killed defending the Second Amendment.
- 22:34Speaker 4: He was murdered as he was about to answer a
- 22:36Speaker 4: question about transkillers, about transactivists committing acts of violence. But
- 22:42Speaker 4: Trevor Noah didn't make that point, did he. If he
- 22:44Speaker 4: wanted to talk about irony, he would have talked about
- 22:47Speaker 4: the fact that Charlie was allegedly murdered by a transactivist
- 22:52Speaker 4: in a relationship with someone who is trans, who murdered
- 22:56Speaker 4: Charlie as he was answering a question about transvice. Trevor
- 23:00Speaker 4: Noah doesn't have the guts.
- 23:01Speaker 3: To do that.
- 23:02Speaker 4: He just plays to the easy leftist, loser crowd who
- 23:06Speaker 4: don't want to laugh. They want to applaud right on
- 23:09Speaker 4: comments like trained seals. Now let's talk about or Fool's
- 23:13Speaker 4: affluent white female leftists. They are a growing problem and
- 23:17Speaker 4: they dominate Democrat ranks. Is there is something wrong with
- 23:21Speaker 4: Democrat women and it runs a lot deeper than the
- 23:24Speaker 4: craziness of the squad.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Let's look at the.
- 23:26Speaker 4: Woman who is the front runner to be the most
- 23:29Speaker 4: powerful in America. She's the front runner to be the
- 23:33Speaker 4: next governor of California. Here's a brief highlights package of
- 23:38Speaker 4: her meltdown on CBS recently.
- 23:41Speaker 11: How would I need them in order to win? A man?
- 23:43Speaker 12: Well, unless you think you're going to get sixty percent
- 23:46Speaker 12: of the vote, you think you'll get sixty percent?
- 23:48Speaker 3: You don't think like this is.
- 23:49Speaker 11: A necessarily argumentative What is your question? It's the do
- 23:52Speaker 11: you need them to win? Part that I don't understand.
- 23:54Speaker 11: I'm happy to answer the question aswer. The question is
- 23:55Speaker 11: you haven't written an all answer. What I'm saying to
- 23:57Speaker 11: you is that well to those votes. Okay, so you
- 24:01Speaker 11: I don't want to keep doing this, I'm gonna call it.
- 24:03Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 24:05Speaker 3: You're not gonna do the interview.
- 24:07Speaker 11: With it not like this. I'm not not with seven
- 24:09Speaker 11: follow ups to every single question you ask.
- 24:11Speaker 8: Every other candidate has at care.
- 24:14Speaker 11: I don't care.
- 24:15Speaker 4: Yep, that's Katie Porter, and she's leading in the polls
- 24:19Speaker 4: to take over California, the fourth biggest economy in the world.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Maybe that meltdown will change things, but she's been unhinged.
- 24:27Speaker 3: For a long time.
- 24:28Speaker 4: Here she is brating a staff member for getting in
- 24:32Speaker 4: her shot.
- 24:33Speaker 12: If we don't electrified or transportation sept for that, we're
- 24:38Speaker 12: going to lose more than half a million Californians dying
- 24:42Speaker 12: prematurely to air pollution and other problems, and the state
- 24:45Speaker 12: could lose.
- 24:48Speaker 8: You're out of my shot.
- 24:50Speaker 5: I wanted to say that that's actually incorrected.
- 24:52Speaker 13: It's not that it's electric vehicles, it's that if we
- 24:55Speaker 13: don't need the commitments the Paris climate.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Okay, it does.
- 24:59Speaker 8: Okay, you also were in my shot before that. Stay
- 25:03Speaker 8: out of my shot.
- 25:05Speaker 4: And let's hear this election night story from Katie Porter
- 25:09Speaker 4: involving her young daughter.
- 25:11Speaker 11: So on Election eight, I I want to pick up
- 25:14Speaker 11: my daughter from waterpolo practice.
- 25:16Speaker 3: And she's twelve, and she got.
- 25:17Speaker 14: In the courage.
- 25:18Speaker 11: She was crying. She said, mum, Trump won, Trump's gonna win, and.
- 25:24Speaker 3: What if they get reaped?
- 25:25Speaker 11: And I need to have an abortion. This is from
- 25:27Speaker 11: a twelve year old, My twelve year old daughter, and
- 25:30Speaker 11: so it was really a remainder of how scary this
- 25:33Speaker 11: time is for people.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Oh, Katie, you brought your family into this.
- 25:37Speaker 4: That was a mistake, because we're now going to check
- 25:39Speaker 4: in on what happened during your divorce proceedings. Yes, Katie's
- 25:43Speaker 4: ex husband, Matthew Hoffman, detailed that the Democrat frequently abused
- 25:48Speaker 4: him and threw all sorts of things at him during
- 25:51Speaker 4: their marriage. She once shattered a glass coffee pot on
- 25:54Speaker 4: their kitchen counter when she felt their house wasn't clean enough.
- 25:58Speaker 3: The ex husband also said.
- 26:00Speaker 4: She would not let me have a cell phone because
- 26:03Speaker 4: she said, you're too effing dumb to operate it.
- 26:07Speaker 3: And most incredibly, he said that Cape.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Porter once became so incensed by the way he was
- 26:12Speaker 4: making mashed potatoes that she raised a ceramic bowl of
- 26:17Speaker 4: steaming hot potatoes and dumped them on his head, burning
- 26:21Speaker 4: his scalp. And she's the front runner to be the
- 26:24Speaker 4: governor of California. Goodness me, Democrats are slow learners. And
- 26:30Speaker 4: talking about slow learners, let's check in with ABC, let's
- 26:33Speaker 4: have a look at Vice President jd Vance absolutely demolishing
- 26:38Speaker 4: George Stephanopoulos, the long term Democrat operative turned ABC News
- 26:43Speaker 4: anchor did not see this coming, and his reaction to it.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Was to abruptly and the interview. This is certainly a
- 26:51Speaker 3: lefty losing it.
- 26:53Speaker 14: I don't know what tape you're referring to, George. I
- 26:56Speaker 14: saw media reports that Tom Holman accepted a bribe. There's
- 26:59Speaker 14: no evidence that. And here's George, why fewer and fewer
- 27:02Speaker 14: people watch your program and why you're losing credibility because
- 27:06Speaker 14: you're talking for now five minutes with the Vice President
- 27:09Speaker 14: of the United States about this story regarding Tom Holme
- 27:12Speaker 14: and a story that I've read about, but I don't
- 27:14Speaker 14: even know the video that you're talking about. Meanwhile, low
- 27:17Speaker 14: income women can't get food because the Democrats and Chuck
- 27:21Speaker 14: Schumer have shut down the government. Right now, we're trying
- 27:23Speaker 14: to figure out how to pay our troops because Chuck
- 27:25Speaker 14: Schumer has shut down the government. You were focused on
- 27:28Speaker 14: a bogus story. You're insinuating criminal wrongdoing against a guy
- 27:32Speaker 14: who has done nothing wrong, instead of focusing on the
- 27:35Speaker 14: fact that our country is struggling because our government's shut down.
- 27:39Speaker 14: Let's talk about the real issues, George. I think the
- 27:42Speaker 14: American people would benefit much more from that than from
- 27:45Speaker 14: you going down some weird left wing rabbit hole where
- 27:48Speaker 14: the facts clearly show that Tom Holman didn't engage in
- 27:50Speaker 14: any criminal wrongdoing.
- 27:52Speaker 13: It's not a weird left wing rabbit hole. I didn't
- 27:54Speaker 13: insinuate anything. I asked you whether Tom Holman accepted fifty
- 27:57Speaker 13: thousand dollars as was heard on an audiotape real by
- 28:00Speaker 13: the FBI in September twenty twenty four, and you did
- 28:03Speaker 13: not answer the question. Thank you for your time this morning.
- 28:07Speaker 3: I said that I build up next. We'll be right back.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Joining me now is Newsweek Senior editor at Large and
- 28:13Speaker 4: Article three Project Senior Council Josh Hammer. Josh jd Vance
- 28:17Speaker 4: had this to say about that interview posted on X
- 28:21Speaker 4: Peace in the Middle East China threatening critical supply chains,
- 28:25Speaker 4: government shutdown.
- 28:26Speaker 3: No, George doesn't care about that.
- 28:28Speaker 4: He is here to focus on the real story, a
- 28:30Speaker 4: fake scandal involving Tom Homan.
- 28:34Speaker 3: I've got to say, Josh, I don't.
- 28:35Speaker 4: Know why George quit that interview so abruptly.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Surely he's not so sensitive.
- 28:41Speaker 4: About JD calling out his dwindling audience numbers.
- 28:46Speaker 5: Yeah read AAABC. Let's not forget was the media organization
- 28:51Speaker 5: that hosted the vice presidential debate between JD. Vans and
- 28:54Speaker 5: Tim Walls AAA truly loathsome and pathetic attempt at a
- 28:58Speaker 5: mighter read debate. It that was actually probably the single
- 29:01Speaker 5: worst moderated debate and at least my inestimation of the
- 29:04Speaker 5: entire cycle last year. So they've shown their true colors,
- 29:07Speaker 5: I mean, frankly, I mean frankly when it comes to
- 29:09Speaker 5: the corporate media here in the United States, who has
- 29:11Speaker 5: not shown their true colors. I mean CBS News making
- 29:14Speaker 5: a very interesting decision and hiring Barry Weiss to be
- 29:16Speaker 5: editor in chief. We'll see how that how that plays out.
- 29:19Speaker 5: But ABC certainly doubling down on stupid and Jady Vance
- 29:23Speaker 5: is totally right by the way, which is that this
- 29:25Speaker 5: is this is this is exactly why all these networks
- 29:27Speaker 5: are just losing ratings. ABC is also Jimmy Kimmel's network.
- 29:30Speaker 5: That we saw what happened with Jimmy Kimmel recently when
- 29:32Speaker 5: you had when you had Sinclair Nextstar on various other
- 29:35Speaker 5: affiliates that that side that briefly dropped his show from
- 29:38Speaker 5: the air. So I you know, you know, this is
- 29:41Speaker 5: why more Americans in general, especially in my generation, millennials,
- 29:44Speaker 5: gen Z. This is this is why so many people
- 29:45Speaker 5: come up without even having access to TV. The people
- 29:49Speaker 5: these days get their news on the Internet, They get
- 29:51Speaker 5: their news on social media. Here, I mean very people
- 29:54Speaker 5: are watching ABC, NBC and CBS other than boomer sixty
- 29:57Speaker 5: five and up there. But Jade Vance is not a boomer.
- 30:00Speaker 5: Jennie Vance is very much of by and for a
- 30:02Speaker 5: young a younger generation. That's one of the many reasons,
- 30:04Speaker 5: Rita why I was so personally excited and gung ho
- 30:07Speaker 5: about his political candidacy in the first place there, and
- 30:09Speaker 5: I think it's one of his major appeals moving forward
- 30:12Speaker 5: as big barrelhead towards twenty twenty eight.
- 30:16Speaker 4: And ABC had to pay Donald Trump a sizable amount
- 30:21Speaker 4: for some of the misreporting, misinformation, deliberate disinformation, whatever you
- 30:27Speaker 4: want to call it.
- 30:28Speaker 8: Now.
- 30:28Speaker 4: I featured Katie Porter earlier. She has a long history
- 30:32Speaker 4: of erratic behavior, under performance, all sorts of staffing issues,
- 30:37Speaker 4: and yet she's the front runner to be the next
- 30:40Speaker 4: governor of California, the fourth biggest economy in the world.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Josh, it's extraordinary.
- 30:46Speaker 5: Yeah, California. I'm speaking of doubling down on stupid, right,
- 30:49Speaker 5: I mean, were to say how ABC is doubling down stupid?
- 30:52Speaker 5: I mean, what is going to take for California to
- 30:56Speaker 5: sober up at this point? I mean, frankly, the fact
- 30:58Speaker 5: that California, Rita is going down the rabbit holidays. I
- 31:00Speaker 5: have plenty of fellow conservatives here in the United States
- 31:02Speaker 5: who are like, oh, California, California. Well, look, in theory,
- 31:06Speaker 5: I would like to salvage California. Call me idealistic, call
- 31:09Speaker 5: me crazy. California is one massive, it's a lot of people.
- 31:13Speaker 5: Two it's beautiful. Three it's a mass of economy. So
- 31:17Speaker 5: in theory, I would really love for Californians to come
- 31:20Speaker 5: to their freaking census and to stop voting for absolute
- 31:23Speaker 5: fools to the governor's mansion and the state legislature and Sacramento.
- 31:27Speaker 5: But unfortunately, Rita. You can't help a people that does
- 31:30Speaker 5: not want to help themselves. This is the exact same
- 31:32Speaker 5: mentality that I find myself having over and over again
- 31:35Speaker 5: when it comes to the crisis in Europe. I very
- 31:37Speaker 5: much have enjoyed my visits to Europe over the years.
- 31:40Speaker 5: I enjoy going to the classic cathedrals and the old streets.
- 31:43Speaker 5: It's very different than when we have here in the
- 31:44Speaker 5: United States. There I would like for Europe to be preserved,
- 31:47Speaker 5: but the Europeans don't want to help themselves when it
- 31:49Speaker 5: comes to immigration from cultures that simply do not mess
- 31:52Speaker 5: with their own and so forth. There so same apparently
- 31:54Speaker 5: with California. Californians don't want to help themselves. I genuinely
- 31:58Speaker 5: wish they would. But if they that they're going to
- 32:00Speaker 5: get any better governance after Gavin Newsom than Katie Freakin
- 32:03Speaker 5: Porter than you know, I mean, I've got some news
- 32:05Speaker 5: for them, and that's simply not going to be the case.
- 32:08Speaker 5: I wish the California would get back to the state
- 32:10Speaker 5: that was governed once upon a time by Ronald Reagan.
- 32:12Speaker 5: There was a long stream. Even Arnold Schwarzenegger not is
- 32:15Speaker 5: out there conservative, but a modern Republican. It wasn't that
- 32:17Speaker 5: long ago. Really, the California was actually politically not crazy.
- 32:21Speaker 5: It's been left leaning for a long time, but it
- 32:23Speaker 5: was not crazy, not that long ago. There's a fairly
- 32:26Speaker 5: recent trend in the fortune. It's a really despardly one.
- 32:30Speaker 4: Now we've been covering the j Jones scandal on this program.
- 32:34Speaker 4: I am more than most of the US media, whoever
- 32:38Speaker 4: some of them have devoted zero time to the Democrats'
- 32:41Speaker 4: Attorney general nominee for the great State of Virginia out
- 32:44Speaker 4: sending horrendous messages about wanting to see a Republican colleague
- 32:49Speaker 4: dead along with the man's young children. It is just
- 32:54Speaker 4: incredible that he's still in the race, Josh, and have
- 32:58Speaker 4: a look at these Democrats. They're asked whether they're willing
- 33:01Speaker 4: to condemn J. Jones and ask him to drop out
- 33:04Speaker 4: of the race.
- 33:05Speaker 8: He has apologized.
- 33:06Speaker 7: I wish other people in public life put sincerely apologize
- 33:09Speaker 7: for stuff.
- 33:10Speaker 3: So no, I still am a supporter.
- 33:12Speaker 15: Quick question, do you think J Jones should drop out
- 33:14Speaker 15: of the Virginia race? Cragy? The AG candidate in Virginia,
- 33:18Speaker 15: J Jones should drop out of the race after those
- 33:21Speaker 15: violent texts that came out what he was saying about
- 33:25Speaker 15: the former House speaker in Virginia.
- 33:27Speaker 4: I you know, being somebody who has in my family, you.
- 33:32Speaker 15: Know, political violence is a real thing and it's a
- 33:35Speaker 15: big use. Do you think the Virginia AG candidate J
- 33:38Speaker 15: Jones should leave the race at the moment? Thank you? Okay,
- 33:43Speaker 15: did you see those texts though.
- 33:44Speaker 3: That he sent?
- 33:45Speaker 15: The violent text messages pop out of the race. Senator
- 33:50Speaker 15: j Jones, Senator, do you have any comment from j
- 33:53Speaker 15: Jonesen when you get back to the office.
- 33:54Speaker 4: Are there you go, Josh, Bernie, Chuck, the rest of
- 33:59Speaker 4: the lawmakers there, Most of them didn't even want to
- 34:01Speaker 4: address the question.
- 34:03Speaker 3: Is that good enough?
- 34:06Speaker 8: No?
- 34:06Speaker 5: I mean, it's obviously Naiven remotely close to good enough. Rita.
- 34:09Speaker 5: This is the problem with the current Democratic Party in
- 34:11Speaker 5: a nutshells that they have this absolute, fanatical, radical, decivilizational,
- 34:16Speaker 5: anti American, burn it all down flank. I call them
- 34:20Speaker 5: the shock troops of the Democratic Party. That's the Black
- 34:23Speaker 5: Lives Matter, Antifa street thug wing of the Democratic Party movements.
- 34:27Speaker 3: And they are.
- 34:27Speaker 5: Increasingly and extremely violence prone movements. And unlike the Summer
- 34:32Speaker 5: of Love of twenty twenty, where it was mostly limited
- 34:35Speaker 5: to looting, in arson and vandalism and property crimes, it's
- 34:38Speaker 5: increasingly becoming not just property crimes but violence. I mean,
- 34:42Speaker 5: we saw a direct line, a direct line from all
- 34:45Speaker 5: of the Biden Harris administrations, various threats about how Donald
- 34:49Speaker 5: Trump and MAGA Republicans represented and existential threat to democracy.
- 34:53Speaker 5: Do you remember that that infamous speech that Joe Biden
- 34:56Speaker 5: gave and filled in Philadelphia three years ago. So it
- 34:58Speaker 5: was over labored weekend here with the red backdrop. I mean,
- 35:01Speaker 5: it was giving off, frankly nineteen thirties German style vibes.
- 35:04Speaker 5: And I could draw a direct line from that to
- 35:07Speaker 5: people moustile, people trying to assassinate Donald J.
- 35:10Speaker 3: Trump.
- 35:10Speaker 5: I'm not saying that anyone other than the dire culpability
- 35:14Speaker 5: goes the shooter. But the reality is these things don't
- 35:16Speaker 5: happen in the vacuum. There's a shocky recent poll out
- 35:19Speaker 5: of Harvard University that showed that over thirty percent, over
- 35:22Speaker 5: thirty percent of Harvard students said that they could potentially
- 35:26Speaker 5: see a world in which they could justify acts of
- 35:29Speaker 5: violence to prevent a speaker from speaking on campus. These
- 35:32Speaker 5: are the kind of things, whether it's that, whether it's J.
- 35:34Speaker 5: Jones fantasizing about committing political violence. This is the issue.
- 35:38Speaker 5: I mean, I'm not exaggerating. This literally is the issue
- 35:41Speaker 5: that could bring this republic to the brink. It really is.
- 35:44Speaker 5: I mean, when Americans or any people who are a
- 35:47Speaker 5: living in a self governing republic, when you cease to
- 35:50Speaker 5: be able to settle your political disputes, your moral disputes,
- 35:54Speaker 5: your policy agreements. When you lose the ability to settle
- 35:56Speaker 5: that at the ballot box with the pen, with the keyboard,
- 35:59Speaker 5: the megaphone, and so forth, and instead your resorts to
- 36:01Speaker 5: the rifle and bullets and the knife, that is how
- 36:04Speaker 5: publics die. This is really no joke. There's no exaggeration there,
- 36:07Speaker 5: and I find it absolutely appalling. I'll be it wholly
- 36:10Speaker 5: unsurprising that so few Democrats, other than perhaps Cena or
- 36:13Speaker 5: Kelly of Arizona, are willing to say anything whatsoever about jajas.
- 36:19Speaker 16: Well.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Let's talk about Portland.
- 36:21Speaker 4: Now, we've certainly seen political violence in that place. Donald
- 36:26Speaker 4: Trump is determined to clean it. Arpisays it's like a
- 36:29Speaker 4: war zone. It's in decay, it's crime riddled. The Oregon
- 36:33Speaker 4: governor obviously doesn't agree. The socialist city council doesn't agree.
- 36:37Speaker 3: But even the New.
- 36:39Speaker 4: York Times Josh is finally questioning the wisdom of far
- 36:43Speaker 4: left rule and asking what happens when socialists are in charge?
- 36:48Speaker 4: Portland offers a glimpse, Josh. Let's take a glimpse at Portland.
- 36:52Speaker 4: This is the Third world conditions you have to negotiate
- 36:56Speaker 4: to reach.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Barnes and Noble at the Lloyd Center.
- 37:00Speaker 9: Avoy Center and a park parking garage and never even
- 37:03Speaker 9: go up the stairs into the mall.
- 37:05Speaker 8: And this is what is here.
- 37:07Speaker 3: I shouldn't smell.
- 37:08Speaker 4: It smells slapee and tea.
- 37:14Speaker 5: Watch yourself.
- 37:17Speaker 11: So this is the only way to get upstairs if
- 37:21Speaker 11: you're parked right here, to get to Lloyd.
- 37:24Speaker 4: Center, Josh, I'll type that back off. Being to third
- 37:28Speaker 4: world countries, they normally in a lot bitter shape than that.
- 37:32Speaker 5: You know, Portland, once upon a time was a shiny
- 37:35Speaker 5: example of what a forward looking and forward thinking American
- 37:40Speaker 5: city might look like. I'm thinking back thirty forty years ago,
- 37:43Speaker 5: but at this point I think you're right, Rita. I've
- 37:47Speaker 5: actually never been to Portland, but based on all that
- 37:49Speaker 5: I've been able to glean there, my friend Andy know
- 37:51Speaker 5: has been ground zero with the Portland Antifa riots for
- 37:54Speaker 5: years and years now. Based on all that I've seen,
- 37:56Speaker 5: I think you can make a very strong argument that
- 37:58Speaker 5: Portland is in worse condition on a day to day basis,
- 38:01Speaker 5: from a cost of living, from a quality of life,
- 38:03Speaker 5: from a crime perspective than your typical Sub Saharan African city.
- 38:07Speaker 5: I mean, that's essentially what it looks like to me.
- 38:09Speaker 5: But Portland's also become a shiny example, unfortunately, of a
- 38:12Speaker 5: broader national trend, which is, you have these cities that
- 38:16Speaker 5: are governed in politically monolithic fashion by Democrats, year after year,
- 38:20Speaker 5: decade after decade. On thinking of them, cities like Baltimore, Maryland, Detroit, Michigan,
- 38:24Speaker 5: Saint Louis, Missouri, Portland's. So many of these cities just
- 38:28Speaker 5: have mayor after mayor after mayor who are of one party,
- 38:31Speaker 5: one party only. Chicago another big example there. I can't
- 38:34Speaker 5: think of another. I can't think of a single example.
- 38:36Speaker 5: I can't, I literally cannot think of a single example
- 38:38Speaker 5: the top of my head of an American city that
- 38:41Speaker 5: has had monolithic, uniparty democratic governance for decades and has
- 38:45Speaker 5: been better off because of it. But the cherry on top,
- 38:47Speaker 5: cherry on top is because the New York Times here,
- 38:50Speaker 5: this is the article they're saying, Oh, here's socialism at.
- 38:52Speaker 3: Work, dude.
- 38:53Speaker 5: You guys have covered for Zooran Mamdani. The New York
- 38:57Speaker 5: Times has offered all sorts from apology for Zoran freakin' Mamdani,
- 39:02Speaker 5: a guy I would argue for whom socialist is actually
- 39:05Speaker 5: far two kinds. This is a guy who literally quotes
- 39:08Speaker 5: Carl Marxist Communist manifesto. He is a diet in the
- 39:11Speaker 5: Wall Marxist community. I think socialist is genuinely not accurate.
- 39:15Speaker 5: He's an actual literal communist. So the New York Times
- 39:19Speaker 5: a month before the election, that's probably going to put
- 39:21Speaker 5: this hamas supporting pro g Hodge comedy in the mayoral office. There. Really,
- 39:27Speaker 5: you guys are crying foul this lay in the game.
- 39:29Speaker 5: You had a really long time the New York Times
- 39:31Speaker 5: back Democratic primary to destry stopping there and now it's
- 39:36Speaker 5: so ridiculous. But ultimately, Rita, you reaput you so and
- 39:39Speaker 5: then and the people of New York are think are
- 39:41Speaker 5: tragically going to reap what they sew here and it's
- 39:43Speaker 5: going to look a lot like Portland sooner and then
- 39:44Speaker 5: later if you're.
- 39:47Speaker 4: Now, before you go, Josh, President Trump will address the
- 39:50Speaker 4: Israeli Parliament the Kanesse about his triumph in brokering a
- 39:55Speaker 4: historic pace. Still, this is going to be something else
- 39:58Speaker 4: going to be talked about for years is to come.
- 40:01Speaker 4: But I want to ask you about some of the
- 40:03Speaker 4: anti Israeli sentiment that has been normalized in America. Listen
- 40:08Speaker 4: to this discussion between Democrat congresswomen and Rashida Talaibe and
- 40:12Speaker 4: Hassan Pika.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Listen to how they talk about Israel.
- 40:17Speaker 16: It is absolutely a violent apartheid state.
- 40:22Speaker 7: No, it's an ideology. Zionism is an exterminationist ideology built
- 40:26Speaker 7: around no religious supremacist values. So when people say, like, oh, well,
- 40:33Speaker 7: you know, I'm a liberal Signist, like I want there
- 40:35Speaker 7: to be a.
- 40:36Speaker 3: Jewish Yes, so many I want there.
- 40:37Speaker 7: I'm a liberal Signist.
- 40:38Speaker 8: I want there to be a Jewish.
- 40:39Speaker 7: Eth No state, I'm like, okay, Like, what do you mean.
- 40:42Speaker 7: It's like saying you're like a liberal Nazi, you want
- 40:45Speaker 7: an Aryan majority eth No state.
- 40:49Speaker 4: Josh, I'm going to ask you to be succinct. I'm
- 40:51Speaker 4: sure there's plenty you could say, But what's your response
- 40:53Speaker 4: to that?
- 40:55Speaker 5: Yeahda As the great Dentnis Praiker always says, you know,
- 40:58Speaker 5: how many Muslim majority countries are in the world, and
- 41:01Speaker 5: the Jews are not entitled to one tiny state to
- 41:03Speaker 5: run the size of New Jersey. I mean, it's just
- 41:06Speaker 5: so utterly preposterous, you know. Unfortunately, Rita, I wish that
- 41:10Speaker 5: the Israel issue were solely an issue where the left
- 41:12Speaker 5: is crazy, But there are some fringe voices on the
- 41:14Speaker 5: rights that are getting way out of hand on this
- 41:16Speaker 5: stuff as well. I'm not sure if this reached Australia,
- 41:18Speaker 5: but I was actually accused this past week while I
- 41:21Speaker 5: was offline for a Jewish holiday by Canvas Owens of
- 41:24Speaker 5: being complicit in the assassination of my friend Charlie Kirk.
- 41:27Speaker 5: I kidding not, that is literally what she accused me of.
- 41:30Speaker 5: It is an insane, deranged, evil thing to say. And
- 41:33Speaker 5: the only reason that she is doing this, The only
- 41:35Speaker 5: reason is because I myself am Jewish and supporter of Israel,
- 41:38Speaker 5: and it complicates their narrative that Charlie Kirk actually was
- 41:41Speaker 5: a firm dying the will, friend of the Jews and
- 41:43Speaker 5: support of visils. So it's on the very very fringes
- 41:46Speaker 5: of the quote unquote far right, and I'm going to
- 41:48Speaker 5: try I want to call Candice Owens the far right there,
- 41:50Speaker 5: but it's very much in the mainstream left as well,
- 41:52Speaker 5: and it's a big pum that we have to dress
- 41:53Speaker 5: all across the political spectrum.
- 41:55Speaker 3: Josh, just on Candace Owens.
- 41:57Speaker 4: There are plenty of conspiracy theories right now about Charlie
- 42:01Speaker 4: Kirk's murder, about whether the official narrative is accurate. How
- 42:06Speaker 4: did Joe and I start being mentioned in these conspiracy theories.
- 42:12Speaker 5: It's not entirely clear. I think the alleged series of
- 42:16Speaker 5: events is that I was in this very act of
- 42:18Speaker 5: WhatsApp chat with Charlie Kirk where he was blowing off
- 42:21Speaker 5: Team Inventing the day before his assassination about how he
- 42:24Speaker 5: lost it two million dollars a year turning Point USA
- 42:26Speaker 5: donation from a prominent Jewish donor. And then Kendace took
- 42:30Speaker 5: this tweet of mine from a day or two before
- 42:31Speaker 5: Chili assassination, which is literally about an entirely different topic
- 42:35Speaker 5: about the horrific savage butchery of our arena Zaruska on
- 42:39Speaker 5: this Charlotte light rail, and I was quote tweeting a
- 42:42Speaker 5: tweet from Donald Trump about public executions, and I said,
- 42:46Speaker 5: based and Kenna's own, So this totally out of complex.
- 42:48Speaker 5: He was like, oh my god, Josh Amberson is foreshadowing
- 42:51Speaker 5: the assassination of Charlie Kirk for turning against Israel. I mean,
- 42:55Speaker 5: it's contemptible. I'm a lawyer. I know this is likely
- 42:57Speaker 5: defamatory conduct. We're looking into possible legal there, and I'll
- 43:00Speaker 5: keep you a price of.
- 43:01Speaker 4: It, Josh, Amma, thanks for your ta Thank you. Still
- 43:07Speaker 4: to come the latest on Prince Andrew's growing woes Kinsey's Schofield.
- 43:12Speaker 3: Joins me next.
- 43:25Speaker 4: Welcome back joining me now celebrity and royal commandat at
- 43:28Speaker 4: Cain see Schofield Kinsey. Sources close to Harry and Meghan
- 43:33Speaker 4: have revealed they were shocked by Meghan's solo Paris trip
- 43:37Speaker 4: last week, saying her latest relaunch left them deeply concerned
- 43:42Speaker 4: about her marriage to Prince Harry.
- 43:44Speaker 3: What more can you tell me? That's right?
- 43:47Speaker 16: This is coming from the Daily Mail that say the
- 43:49Speaker 16: Sussexes both but especially Harry, would typically turn down opportunities
- 43:53Speaker 16: in Paris because it's where his mother tragically died. We
- 43:56Speaker 16: learned over the weekend that Meghan wasn't even invited to
- 43:59Speaker 16: the Balanciaga fashion show. She personally reached out to the
- 44:02Speaker 16: designer and asked if she could attend, completely dismissive of
- 44:06Speaker 16: Prince Harry's feelings. Then, following that bizarre trip to Paris,
- 44:10Speaker 16: as she accepted a Humanitarian of the Year award for
- 44:13Speaker 16: selling jam, she removed HER's hand from her back on
- 44:17Speaker 16: the red carpet and then the two were spotted going
- 44:19Speaker 16: their separate ways throughout New York during their visit. I
- 44:22Speaker 16: think this is a legitimate observation. When Prince Harry won't
- 44:26Speaker 16: shut up about security.
- 44:30Speaker 3: That is very interesting. Indeed.
- 44:32Speaker 4: Now Meghan Markel is going to be joining former Vice
- 44:36Speaker 4: President Kamala Harris and Selena Gomes in Washington, DC this
- 44:40Speaker 4: week for the Fortune Magazine's annual Most Powerful Women's Summit,
- 44:46Speaker 4: where she will discuss her lifestyle brand as ever and
- 44:50Speaker 4: talk about navigating entrepreneurship in the public eye and building
- 44:55Speaker 4: a brand that will endure. I mean, I don't know
- 44:57Speaker 4: how she can do that because this brand was created
- 45:00Speaker 4: three minutes ago.
- 45:01Speaker 3: Kinsey.
- 45:02Speaker 4: If this is the best most Powerful Women list that
- 45:05Speaker 4: can put together, then it doesn't say much for this publication.
- 45:10Speaker 3: I mean, really, Meghan Michael.
- 45:12Speaker 4: How is sheki powerful? How is she an inspiration to women?
- 45:18Speaker 4: She married someone famous? From what I can work.
- 45:20Speaker 16: Out, Oh my gosh, is that not the truth She's
- 45:23Speaker 16: Is she the most powerful in the Chicken Coop and Montecito?
- 45:26Speaker 16: Because that I could understand? Yeah, you know, the idea,
- 45:30Speaker 16: the tig American Revere Orchard archetypes, Confessions of a female founder,
- 45:34Speaker 16: The British Royal family. These are all just some of
- 45:36Speaker 16: the opportunities that Megan markle quit Cold Turkey. What can
- 45:40Speaker 16: she teach us about building a brand that will endure
- 45:44Speaker 16: her rebrands are giving us whiplash over here. But I
- 45:46Speaker 16: will say it's interesting that Megan has spent such a
- 45:49Speaker 16: significant amount of time away from home. Between Paris now
- 45:53Speaker 16: she's heading to Washington, d C. After telling Netflix cameras
- 45:57Speaker 16: that being away from her children made her physically ill.
- 46:02Speaker 4: Yeah, and so many of these trips, like you said,
- 46:04Speaker 4: are unnecessary. It's not like this is part of her business.
- 46:08Speaker 4: This is part of.
- 46:10Speaker 3: Charitable work she's doing.
- 46:12Speaker 4: She's basically swaning around, going to fashion shows and collecting
- 46:15Speaker 4: awards she doesn't really deserve.
- 46:17Speaker 3: So you know, do you really need to be doing
- 46:20Speaker 3: that now?
- 46:21Speaker 4: To revelations at Prince Andrew allegedly emailed pedophile Jeffrey Epstein
- 46:27Speaker 4: long after he claimed to have cut all ties, telling
- 46:31Speaker 4: him they would write out their scandal together and would
- 46:34Speaker 4: get to play some more soon, just a day after
- 46:38Speaker 4: the notorious photo of him with Gilaine Maxwell and his
- 46:42Speaker 4: sex accuser Virginia Roberts was first published, Kinsey, How.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Accurate is this?
- 46:49Speaker 4: How legitimate is this because if he's posting things like
- 46:53Speaker 4: play some More soon to Jeffrey Epstein, I mean that.
- 46:56Speaker 3: Is just gross.
- 46:58Speaker 16: I mean, I'm pretty confident in report it's coming from
- 47:01Speaker 16: the Sun. You know, Prince Andrew sent that message on
- 47:05Speaker 16: February twenty, twenty eleven. And that's significant because Andrew has
- 47:08Speaker 16: previously insisted that he traveled to New York on December
- 47:11Speaker 16: twenty ten to break up with his friend Jeffrey Epstein
- 47:15Speaker 16: and to end that association. But you know, I do
- 47:18Speaker 16: think that these emails are likely credible. It's from the
- 47:21Speaker 16: same source that brought us those Fergie emails a few
- 47:24Speaker 16: weeks ago where she's apologizing profusely to Epstein.
- 47:29Speaker 3: And it's just.
- 47:29Speaker 16: Further proof that Andrew has no business showing his face
- 47:32Speaker 16: around the British royal family.
- 47:33Speaker 3: If he would lie.
- 47:34Speaker 16: About the timeline, what else is he capable of lying about?
- 47:41Speaker 4: Now, we spoke last week about confirmation that Katie Perry
- 47:45Speaker 4: and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau are dating. We've
- 47:49Speaker 4: all seen those photos now, the loved up couple spotted
- 47:52Speaker 4: kissing and canoodling on Perry's twenty four meter yacht Kinsey.
- 48:00Speaker 3: Well, I think they're built for each other.
- 48:02Speaker 4: I've got to say that both vacuous, they're both self obsessed,
- 48:07Speaker 4: and I think they make a perfect match.
- 48:11Speaker 16: And they kind of look like siblings. Yeah, I mean,
- 48:14Speaker 16: apparently climate change matters.
- 48:16Speaker 3: Yeah, has she been to Cuba as well?
- 48:19Speaker 15: Exactly?
- 48:21Speaker 16: I mean apparently climate only change only matters until the
- 48:24Speaker 16: Champagne's child in the yard is fueled romance on the
- 48:28Speaker 16: high seas of hypocrisy. You know, Trudeau and Katie are
- 48:32Speaker 16: both climate change warriors and proving that liberal guilt sinks
- 48:37Speaker 16: faster than their carbon footprint. Besides that, though I am
- 48:39Speaker 16: enjoying watching Trudeau's midlife crisis that it's like the best
- 48:43Speaker 16: reality show ever.
- 48:46Speaker 4: Now, Jennifer Lopez, She's had a few missteps recently.
- 48:52Speaker 3: She's had a bunch.
- 48:53Speaker 4: Of flops, awful movies, canceled concerts, and her latest one
- 48:58Speaker 4: and kiss Off. This I a Woman is expected to
- 49:02Speaker 4: open to a measly two million dollars in sales by
- 49:05Speaker 4: the end of the holiday weekend.
- 49:07Speaker 3: That's not great, is it, Kinsey?
- 49:10Speaker 11: No?
- 49:10Speaker 16: And I'm curious about your opinion here, because there's this
- 49:13Speaker 16: interesting piece in the New York Post about this, and
- 49:16Speaker 16: the author says negative associations are tough to shake off,
- 49:19Speaker 16: and he mentions Jaylo's earlier career becoming this lovable star
- 49:24Speaker 16: in rom coms like The Wedding Planner, Made in Manhattan
- 49:27Speaker 16: and Monster in Law. But this negative associations are tough
- 49:30Speaker 16: to shake off. He's like saying that now she's become
- 49:32Speaker 16: associated with flops. I think it's ditty, and I think
- 49:36Speaker 16: it's the fact that she did not speak out. Yes,
- 49:39Speaker 16: she's got drama in her personal life, but I also
- 49:41Speaker 16: think people really were disappointed that she didn't speak out
- 49:43Speaker 16: against p Ditty throughout the height of that chaos.
- 49:48Speaker 4: I think that had a lot to do with it.
- 49:50Speaker 4: I think her on again, off again a relationship with
- 49:54Speaker 4: Ben Affleck. They're just the impression that she's not a
- 49:57Speaker 4: very nice person. There's a lot of people who've come
- 49:59Speaker 4: out and talked about their interactions with her and how
- 50:02Speaker 4: she treated them. There's a lot of will smith about
- 50:05Speaker 4: what happened with her. They're very much loved and seen
- 50:09Speaker 4: in a particular light, and that all just turned on
- 50:12Speaker 4: its head and now I do have these negative connotations
- 50:16Speaker 4: and it definitely is impacting their professional life as well.
- 50:21Speaker 4: Just quickly, before you go, tell me about California Governor
- 50:24Speaker 4: Gavin Newsom trying to get Joe Rogan to talk to him,
- 50:29Speaker 4: either on Joe Rogan's podcast or perhaps possibly on newsm's podcast,
- 50:34Speaker 4: How well is this little campaign going for the governor?
- 50:38Speaker 16: This guy is so irrelevant and it absolutely kills him.
- 50:41Speaker 16: He goes on a reality stars podcast and starts cursing,
- 50:45Speaker 16: and you know, he's just so desperate for headlines, and
- 50:48Speaker 16: he challenges Joe Rogan. He wants to go on Joe
- 50:51Speaker 16: Rogan's podcast, because Rogan's podcast is the core podcast, not
- 50:54Speaker 16: Newsome's podcast audience.
- 50:56Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, but so he's basically just bagulately.
- 51:03Speaker 4: Well, I tell you, I can understand why Joe Rogan
- 51:05Speaker 4: wants to have nothing to do with him.
- 51:08Speaker 3: Didn't Joe Rogan.
- 51:09Speaker 4: Flee California because of Gavin Newsom's policies, And it wasn't
- 51:13Speaker 4: just COVID era policies, it's everything else that he's overseen
- 51:18Speaker 4: in California. You've got the crime rate, the massive gap
- 51:24Speaker 4: between rich and poor, and all the impact that has.
- 51:27Speaker 4: It's just a dysfunctional state. And that's why so many
- 51:31Speaker 4: Californians have left for places like Texas and Tennessee and Florida,
- 51:36Speaker 4: Kinsey Schofield, always a pleasure. Thanks for your time tonight,
- 51:40Speaker 4: and that's all the time we have. I'll see you
- 51:43Speaker 4: tomorrow night at eleven up. Next it's Newsnight.
