- 1:24Speaker 1: let's go, let's go. It's a story you need to
- 1:27Speaker 1: hear to believe. Then grab your popcorn because there is more.
- 1:32Speaker 2: I have uh, I have time, Yeah, I do have time. Good.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Let me give you a a two fer, the first
- 1:38Speaker 1: being the Nobel Prize winner uh Maria Machado, who was
- 1:43Speaker 1: on Fox and Friends earlier today she met with President Trump.
- 1:48Speaker 1: She is the opposition leader against Nicholas Maduro. Maduro, of
- 1:52Speaker 1: course being arrested by the United States for the drugs
- 1:56Speaker 1: and trafficking and guns and a host of other things
- 2:00Speaker 1: that we know he has done, not necessarily being charged
- 2:02Speaker 1: with here in the United States. The regime still stands,
- 2:06Speaker 1: though Machado, thought of to be the next leader of
- 2:10Speaker 1: Venezuela by some, hasn't gotten that opportunity, and there has
- 2:14Speaker 1: been thoughts that the President, meaning Donald Trump, has kind
- 2:18Speaker 1: of sidelined that idea. We're gonna deal with the current
- 2:23Speaker 1: regime as is.
- 2:25Speaker 2: We're going to just deal with the people who are there.
- 2:28Speaker 1: That would be Delsi Rodriguez, who is the vice president.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Of Venezuela. But it's just like Maduro.
- 2:38Speaker 1: In in a statement of a response he gave while he
- 2:42Speaker 1: was sitting in the Oval office, President Trump said this
- 2:46Speaker 1: about Delca Rodriguez.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Buck and we'll see how it all works out. I
- 2:50Speaker 3: think something will work out.
- 2:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Isela Cabello the de facto number two in Venezuela right now?
- 2:57Speaker 2: He seemed pretty reluctant to work with the US obby
- 3:00Speaker 2: three key.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Yes, they just gave us fifty millions of order.
- 3:05Speaker 1: The number two, so that as well as security.
- 3:06Speaker 3: I don't know, I know the number one. We just
- 3:08Speaker 3: had a great conversation today. And she's a terrific person.
- 3:12Speaker 3: I mean, she's somebody that we've worked with very well.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Marco Rubio is daily with I dealt with her this morning.
- 3:18Speaker 2: She's not a terrific person. She's just like Maduro.
- 3:20Speaker 1: The regime still stands, and it's not good for the
- 3:22Speaker 1: Venezuelan people nor for the Western Hemisphere. It's a great
- 3:27Speaker 1: example of these are the things he says. It's what
- 3:31Speaker 1: he says. It's not an indicator of action. And I
- 3:35Speaker 1: can get that. It's frustrating. But we were discussing this
- 3:38Speaker 1: yesterday and the day before and the week before and
- 3:40Speaker 1: the month before.
- 3:42Speaker 2: People have got to stop, right The words do have meaning.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I get it. But we've seen Trump long enough.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I think Ben Shapiro just had this conversation with Governor
- 3:52Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom on Gavin Newsom's podcast, at what moment do
- 3:55Speaker 1: you stop being ridiculous? You wish Trump wouldn't say X,
- 4:00Speaker 1: but he's never gonna stop. You just got to know
- 4:02Speaker 1: how to understand it. We're all gonna pretend we don't
- 4:05Speaker 1: understand things.
- 4:06Speaker 2: It's it's silly. It is silly at this stage of
- 4:10Speaker 2: the game.
- 4:11Speaker 1: That is different than whether you wish you wouldn't say it,
- 4:14Speaker 1: which I wish he wouldn't say it.
- 4:17Speaker 2: So he says that.
- 4:19Speaker 1: The other day, he meets with Machado. Yesterday, she gives
- 4:24Speaker 1: him her Nobel Peace Prize. No, a Nobel Peace Prize
- 4:27Speaker 1: is not transferable.
- 4:28Speaker 2: She doesn't care. She gives him the whole block. Here
- 4:30Speaker 2: you go. You deserve it. And on Fox and Friends
- 4:33Speaker 2: this morning, in.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Spite of the Nobel Prize Committee saying that you couldn't
- 4:37Speaker 3: transfer your Nobel Prize to anyone, especially President Trump.
- 4:41Speaker 2: You did today.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Why did you do that?
- 4:45Speaker 2: Because he deserves it? And it was a very emotional moment.
- 4:51Speaker 2: I decided to present the Nobel Peace Prize medal on
- 4:59Speaker 2: behalf of the big of Venezuela. It's a gesture, it is,
- 5:10Speaker 2: It's a lovely gesture.
- 5:12Speaker 1: And she engaged a conversation that this is actually coming
- 5:17Speaker 1: full circle on an idea because it was going back
- 5:23Speaker 1: to America's founding.
- 5:28Speaker 2: It was the Marquis de Lafayette.
- 5:31Speaker 1: As in Lafayette, who gave a medal bearing the likeness
- 5:36Speaker 1: of George Washington to Simon Boulevard, who was one of
- 5:40Speaker 1: the founders of modern Venezuela. And so she's like, after
- 5:45Speaker 1: two hundred years, two hundred years later, the people of
- 5:49Speaker 1: Boulevar are giving back to the air of Washington a medal,
- 5:52Speaker 1: in this case the Nobel Peace Prize medal.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I mean a good history poll there.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I don't I don't know if that softens Trump to saying, hey,
- 6:03Speaker 1: in the shadow should be in charge.
- 6:05Speaker 2: I don't know, but it does set for a lot
- 6:11Speaker 2: of people.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I think the realization that Oh Trump's hated and reviled
- 6:16Speaker 1: around the world.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Stop it.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Stop it. It's what you want to be true, and
- 6:21Speaker 1: it's a gaslighting. It's not factual. Now is it factual
- 6:27Speaker 1: that Joe hogg Sett isn't going to run for reelection?
- 6:37Speaker 1: Bob Bossibly announced he's running for mayor? Who said Joe
- 6:40Speaker 1: Hoggesett wasn't running for mayor. I had not heard this.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I had not seen this. No one had said anything
- 6:44Speaker 1: about this, and I said, I.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Don't know if he is or isn't.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I don't know anybody reporting on such a thing. Enter
- 6:54Speaker 1: rich nine over a WHR because he reached out to me.
- 6:57Speaker 1: He's like, hey, caught the show this morning. I did
- 7:01Speaker 1: an interview with vob Osiley and we bring this up specifically.
- 7:05Speaker 1: I said, can I share it? And he was like, yeah,
- 7:08Speaker 1: go right ahead. So this is from WTCHR dot com.
- 7:11Speaker 1: This is rich Ni's reporting on vob Oscilly announcing that
- 7:15Speaker 1: he's running for mayor.
- 7:18Speaker 2: If I could play it, that'd be awesome.
- 7:20Speaker 4: He held the role of president for eight years. He
- 7:23Speaker 4: gave up that position at the end of last year,
- 7:26Speaker 4: which opened the door to this run for mayor. We
- 7:29Speaker 4: have a democratic mayor who could seek reelection. Have you
- 7:33Speaker 4: talked to the mayor about your plans and where does
- 7:35Speaker 4: he stand? Well, I can't tell you where he stands,
- 7:38Speaker 4: but I know that he and I have talked.
- 7:41Speaker 2: He and I talked about someone's back.
- 7:45Speaker 4: So would you be running even if he decides to
- 7:47Speaker 4: run for reelection.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Well, I can't say what he's going to do, but
- 7:50Speaker 2: I do intend to run.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Hog Set's campaign responded, Mayor hog Set remains focused on
- 7:55Speaker 4: governing for the remaining two years of this term, continuing
- 7:59Speaker 4: to deliver say for neighborhoods, better roads, and investments that
- 8:03Speaker 4: improve the quality of life for all Indianapolis residents.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I assume that means well, it depends on how much
- 8:10Speaker 1: money I can raise. I take from that that no
- 8:16Speaker 1: decision at all has been made. He's gonna wait and
- 8:21Speaker 1: see and look and check. And as for whether or
- 8:27Speaker 1: not Ryan Meares is running, the quote is I remain
- 8:30Speaker 1: focused on doing the work the people elected me to do.
- 8:32Speaker 2: We would love to see you actually do any work.
- 8:34Speaker 1: He continued, delivering justice with integrity, prioritizing violent crime, and
- 8:40Speaker 1: strengthening community safety in ways that are tough on crime.
- 8:43Speaker 2: And smart onjustice.
- 8:44Speaker 1: That committed is backed by That commitment is backed by
- 8:47Speaker 1: measurable results, including our office securing a third consecutive year
- 8:50Speaker 1: of murder trial convictions rates of ninety percent or higher.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Yeah, he may be running.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Bob Bossiley came and early to try and clean the field,
- 9:01Speaker 1: clear the field. I said, I don't know if it's
- 9:04Speaker 1: gonna work, but Joe hog seat again.
- 9:08Speaker 2: I say, nothing there tells me he's not running. He has, there's.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Nothing that says he's not running. I appreciate Rich Nye
- 9:17Speaker 1: sending this R away from w t HR. Very very
- 9:20Speaker 1: nice of him to do
