- 0:25Speaker 2: an amazing book. You gotta get it and you get
- 0:27Speaker 2: his column. Everything's at Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly,
- 0:31Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Busy this morning? Just like you Mark? Right?
- 0:35Speaker 2: Yeah? Well, hey President in China, you made the trip first.
- 0:39Speaker 2: You were in China meeting with all these leaders there.
- 0:41Speaker 2: What is he what is he in for there?
- 0:44Speaker 1: I think? Well, I got a text from him at
- 0:48Speaker 1: one thirty in the morning's coast time, and he says
- 0:54Speaker 1: that everything's going very well and behind the scenes a
- 0:59Speaker 1: Chinese are cooperating. So I was happy to hear that.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I'm making a point tonight on my broadcast and No
- 1:06Speaker 1: Spin News that there are people in America I'm starting
- 1:10Speaker 1: to really teem me off. They want them to fail
- 1:13Speaker 1: over there. You know, they hate him so much, and
- 1:18Speaker 1: I know some of these people. And now I have
- 1:20Speaker 1: a moral quandary because I don't really respect that. If
- 1:27Speaker 1: you are going to put your hatred for an individual,
- 1:30Speaker 1: whether it's Donald Trump or Notack Obama, anybody above the
- 1:33Speaker 1: welfare of your own country and your own family by extension,
- 1:39Speaker 1: then I don't respect you, and so then I have
- 1:43Speaker 1: to reevaluate how I'm going to deal with that person. Now,
- 1:46Speaker 1: I don't think that's common in say a large amount
- 1:53Speaker 1: of people believe that, but certainly a significant amount of
- 1:59Speaker 1: people do, and you see it reflected in MS and CNN.
- 2:05Speaker 1: In fact, we're reporting a story tonight. I believe it's true,
- 2:09Speaker 1: although it's anonymously sore. So I always tell the audience
- 2:12Speaker 1: that got to bring a bit of skepticism when you
- 2:15Speaker 1: read about anonymous sore stories. That the head of CNN,
- 2:20Speaker 1: Mark Thompson, actually ordered his anchors to knock it off
- 2:26Speaker 1: about the White House renovations and start covering the most
- 2:30Speaker 1: important story of the year, Trump's Asia trip. He had
- 2:35Speaker 1: to order his own people to do that. That's a
- 2:38Speaker 1: pretty sad state of affairs.
- 2:40Speaker 2: I think, Yeah, this ballroom derangement syndrome, it's just ridiculous.
- 2:45Speaker 2: And you're right, big things are happening in this trip, big,
- 2:48Speaker 2: big trade deals with mineral deals. It should be covered NonStop.
- 2:53Speaker 1: It's enormous and so far he's two for two Malaysia
- 2:59Speaker 1: and Japan. And the reason that he's succeeding is because
- 3:06Speaker 1: people fear him so these countries and are like, Okay,
- 3:10Speaker 1: I want to give America a break. That's not really
- 3:13Speaker 1: the mentality. Mentality is I got to get a deal
- 3:17Speaker 1: with this man because if we don't, then our economy
- 3:20Speaker 1: is going to be hurt. Particularly in Japan. They know
- 3:24Speaker 1: they have to calm it down. When I was in
- 3:26Speaker 1: Japan in May, I did not see one American vehicle.
- 3:31Speaker 1: And I traveled around a bit, there wasn't one American
- 3:35Speaker 1: vehicle on their streets. That there were German cars and
- 3:41Speaker 1: Korean cars, but no American vehicles. What was that? Because
- 3:47Speaker 1: the Japanese historically have kept out American cars from their marketplace,
- 3:53Speaker 1: which iump's changing all of that. And so I was
- 3:58Speaker 1: happy to see the initial couple of days go well,
- 4:02Speaker 1: but the big day is Thursday. The meeting was she.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Yeah, well, there's no reason to think he won't do
- 4:12Speaker 2: very well with she for all the reasons you just said,
- 4:14Speaker 2: and a lot of people think there also might be
- 4:16Speaker 2: a wink in a nod about Taiwan or something like that.
- 4:20Speaker 1: There's got to be some accommodation made to the Chinese
- 4:25Speaker 1: about Taiwan. You're absolutely right. The American government cannot take
- 4:30Speaker 1: a hard line. There's a way to do this, but
- 4:34Speaker 1: it's so emotional now, particularly what happened in Hong Kong.
- 4:40Speaker 1: You know, in the beginning of Hong Kong is going
- 4:41Speaker 1: to be autonomous and it's going to be part of China,
- 4:44Speaker 1: but they're gonna let the capitalistic system flow there. And
- 4:47Speaker 1: then of course the Chinese said, I don't think something
- 4:51Speaker 1: we will violate every treaty, and that could happen in Taiwan.
- 4:54Speaker 1: But you got to try to tamp that down. Most
- 4:58Speaker 1: important thing beside the tree with China, and that is
- 5:01Speaker 1: ultra important to the American economy is the back and
- 5:06Speaker 1: away from Putin. And that's what I discussed with the
- 5:08Speaker 1: politbureau in May when I was invited over there by
- 5:11Speaker 1: the Chinese government. I said, what are you into putin
- 5:15Speaker 1: business for? What is that? Why do you want to
- 5:18Speaker 1: enable this guy? You can get your oil from Outpek
- 5:20Speaker 1: and Trumble sell you oil to a probably a better
- 5:23Speaker 1: price than putin. And why do you want to be
- 5:26Speaker 1: in business with this guy? He's killing women and children.
- 5:29Speaker 1: And when you know, the Chinese don't answer when you
- 5:32Speaker 1: ask questions, they ponder, they don't answer.
- 5:36Speaker 2: And when you deal with them, are they do? You
- 5:39Speaker 2: just see the brilliance, the incredible strategic minds. That is
- 5:42Speaker 2: it really that formidable? These people?
- 5:46Speaker 1: There's one guy who was really brilliant and I met
- 5:49Speaker 1: with him, uh one on one former ambassador to the
- 5:54Speaker 1: United States from China who served in Trump's first term,
- 6:01Speaker 1: and he boy, this guy eighty years old and he
- 6:04Speaker 1: knows what he's doing. The others were bureaucrats. I mean,
- 6:11Speaker 1: maybe that's unfair of me to say because I didn't
- 6:13Speaker 1: spend a lot of I spent three hours with this crew,
- 6:18Speaker 1: but they were peppering me with questions and there was
- 6:20Speaker 1: a discussion back and forth. I didn't see, you know,
- 6:24Speaker 1: anything that stood out except for this ambassador. And he's
- 6:29Speaker 1: the she whisperer, He's the guy that she listens to.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Hey, Bill Riley, before we went out of time, CBS,
- 6:36Speaker 2: they got this Barry Weiss in there trying to straighten
- 6:38Speaker 2: it out, make it more fair balanced. Neutral. Is it
- 6:40Speaker 2: possible to do that? Does she have any chance of
- 6:42Speaker 2: succeeding at that you used to work there.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a very very good question. I think she
- 6:51Speaker 1: can stabilize the operation and bring back some credibility to it,
- 6:57Speaker 1: but I don't think they're ever going to have good rating.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I don't think there's anybody in America under the age
- 7:03Speaker 1: of fifty that watches the evening news. My kids don't
- 7:07Speaker 1: ever on any of them. They're obsolete because you can
- 7:12Speaker 1: get the information on social media and the Internet way
- 7:15Speaker 1: before they come on at six thirty at night. And
- 7:19Speaker 1: the morning shows are just ridiculous. I mean, it's you know,
- 7:22Speaker 1: but what ms weis is going to do is get
- 7:24Speaker 1: the fanatics out, the progressive fanatics which dominated all three
- 7:28Speaker 1: networks for at least ten years, and that's what she's
- 7:33Speaker 1: going to do. You're going to get them out and
- 7:35Speaker 1: get more moderate people in, more professional people who aren't
- 7:38Speaker 1: going to you know, skew the news. So if I
- 7:41Speaker 1: were Scott Pelly, I wouldn't buy buying a house, you
- 7:44Speaker 1: know what I mean? There are people there who are
- 7:48Speaker 1: marked Gail King. I'd be hard to move her out.
- 7:53Speaker 1: But she's certainly going to get a haircut on the paycheck,
- 7:57Speaker 1: and they're going to bring down all the sal going
- 8:00Speaker 1: to bring in some people that are not identified with
- 8:03Speaker 1: the far left, and I think that Weiss will be
- 8:08Speaker 1: able to restore some credibility there.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Hey, yeah, we'll get one minute left the election Tuesday.
- 8:14Speaker 2: What do you think is going to happen? Montani?
- 8:16Speaker 1: Looks like Mandai is going to win. I mean, you
- 8:19Speaker 1: can you know that by the early voting. I was
- 8:22Speaker 1: surprised they gave out the tally so quickly. So Mandmi
- 8:26Speaker 1: is carrying Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens and Cuomo's carrying the
- 8:31Speaker 1: Bronx and Saten Island. It's not enough for Cuomo, so
- 8:37Speaker 1: I expect that, you know, in one week, everybody will go.
- 8:42Speaker 1: But the early voting is is very significant in New
- 8:45Speaker 1: York City this year and I don't think that trend
- 8:48Speaker 1: is going to change. So I think Mandamie would be
- 8:51Speaker 1: the mayor.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Well, we got through eight years at de Blasio and
- 8:54Speaker 2: it's basically the de Blasio team working for Mamdani, So
- 8:57Speaker 2: the same thing all over.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Yeah, next week we'll talk about this because the Blasio
- 9:02Speaker 1: was a disaster and he set the stage for this debacle.
- 9:06Speaker 1: It's about to happen, but I know you got to
- 9:08Speaker 1: sew some stuff and now, so it's a little bit complicated,
- 9:13Speaker 1: but you know, we got this is the way life is.
- 9:17Speaker 1: So when New Yorkers, we're tough and you just got
- 9:22Speaker 1: to go along.
- 9:23Speaker 2: All right. We'll get to that next week. But everybody
- 9:25Speaker 2: get Bill O'Reilly's latest book. You'll love this book, powerful
- 9:28Speaker 2: book called Confronting Evil. It's already a big bestseller. Watch
- 9:32Speaker 2: the YouTube channel Bill O'Reilly's YouTube channel. Great stuff there,
- 9:35Speaker 2: and of course go to Bill O'Reilly dot com. TV
- 9:37Speaker 2: show column. Everything's at Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly,
- 9:41Speaker 2: thanks for.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Being with us, Thanks having me, Mark appreciate it.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Take care, Hey, don't forget. At noon, Buck Sexton, Clay Travis,
- 9:49Speaker 2: excellent show. Hey, I think tomorrow they're having Curtis on.
- 9:52Speaker 2: That's a big show. That's like ten million listeners do
- 9:54Speaker 2: that show. But also three o'clock you got Sean Handedy,
- 9:59Speaker 2: most listened to d show in America, Jesse Kelly at
- 10:02Speaker 2: six and Jimmy Taylor, what a great show he does
- 10:04Speaker 2: every night. If you haven't heard it, take a listen
- 10:07Speaker 2: tonight at nine on seven, ten woor
