- 0:09Speaker 1: Advice. Hello, welcome to the naught even nice shine Rob Shooter,
- 0:17Speaker 1: and it's Friday. We made it through another week together.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Friday beats not only the end of the week, but
- 0:24Speaker 1: also hello to our dear dear friend Corey Andrew from
- 0:29Speaker 1: Instinct magazine dot com. Hey, Corey, are you there? I
- 0:33Speaker 1: am here, Darling. Hello, Hello loo Lo Corey. We got
- 0:37Speaker 1: some notes last week that people couldn't hear you, and
- 0:40Speaker 1: so we're gonna make sure today you are crystal clear.
- 0:42Speaker 1: We have technical issues last week, but don't worry. We
- 0:46Speaker 1: have fixed them. So today it's going to be hopefully
- 0:48Speaker 1: fingers cross. They don't want to drink it even really
- 0:51Speaker 1: clear clear click clear. Okay, let's jump into the show.
- 0:54Speaker 1: What time is it, my friends? It is time. This
- 0:58Speaker 1: is a story that I love the Share. Let's point
- 1:01Speaker 1: it ad I wasn't going to but she is seventy six,
- 1:04Speaker 1: Oh lover. She was spotted holding hands with a new
- 1:08Speaker 1: guy who is thirty six, so forty eight difference there.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Let me explain. So Share was photographed walking out of
- 1:17Speaker 1: Craigs in Hollywood. Craigs is a really famous restaurant. In fact,
- 1:21Speaker 1: you only really go to Craigs the food is great,
- 1:24Speaker 1: but you go there to be spotted, like there's always
- 1:26Speaker 1: always cameras outside. If you and me were in l A.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Corey and we wanted our photograph taken, we would go
- 1:32Speaker 1: to Craigs, although we probably couldn't afford it. It's very
- 1:35Speaker 1: very extensive. Chair can afford it, so don't worry. Oh,
- 1:37Speaker 1: I wonder who paid Share A new man. His name
- 1:40Speaker 1: is Alexander A. E. Edwards, so they call him a
- 1:45Speaker 1: Now this is a little bit. Oh, I don't know
- 1:47Speaker 1: if I like this part of the story. He used
- 1:49Speaker 1: to date Amber Rows and then while he was with Amber,
- 1:54Speaker 1: he allegedly cheated on her with eleven different people. Goodness, well,
- 1:59Speaker 1: I hope got a Share weren't put up with this.
- 2:01Speaker 1: He's very very cute. So they were spotting in the
- 2:04Speaker 1: restaurant and then they were sparted getting into her car
- 2:09Speaker 1: mommy's the boss. And then in the car he kissed
- 2:12Speaker 1: her hand. And then where did that car go? He
- 2:16Speaker 1: went back to Shares House. Yea, they went to Shares
- 2:20Speaker 1: So we didn't see the car leave. We had people
- 2:22Speaker 1: sitting outside all that. That car didn't leave. So I
- 2:26Speaker 1: think you spent the night with miss Share. Were they
- 2:28Speaker 1: just listening to her greatest hits. You know, sounds a
- 2:32Speaker 1: great night for me. Call Shares house listening to her music,
- 2:35Speaker 1: Dad's and around. She's got so many hits we could
- 2:38Speaker 1: be up to four am. What do you think? Well,
- 2:44Speaker 1: you know, it's a little I don't want to be
- 2:46Speaker 1: ages to here, obviously, because you know, age is just
- 2:48Speaker 1: a number. But that's quite a different however, in their
- 2:52Speaker 1: ages and so um. You know, it might be cute
- 2:55Speaker 1: for like a little one night thing, but I don't
- 2:58Speaker 1: know long term if that's really so stainable. But let's
- 3:01Speaker 1: remember here, it's not seventy six year old my mom.
- 3:06Speaker 1: It's Share. She looks and I think she lives on
- 3:10Speaker 1: a different planet than the rest of us. And I
- 3:11Speaker 1: mean that in the nicest possible way. There's nothing usual
- 3:14Speaker 1: about Share, so she's not your average seventy year old.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Everything is unusual. So maybe it could work. I know
- 3:22Speaker 1: her a little bit. You know that, do you really wild?
- 3:27Speaker 1: It's really interesting. So Bruce and Barry, my husband, wrote
- 3:30Speaker 1: a musical with Barry Manilow. They turned their hits on
- 3:32Speaker 1: Copacabanner into a music Caller shares best friend is also
- 3:37Speaker 1: an amazing choreographer. She Shares choreographer. She did the choreography
- 3:42Speaker 1: for Copacabana. Goodness. So I was at the Today Show
- 3:47Speaker 1: Mine in my own business and guess who's on Share
- 3:51Speaker 1: and guess who's with her? Dori. So Dori and I
- 3:55Speaker 1: had a reunion and then Dory was like, do you
- 3:57Speaker 1: want to meet the boss? And I was like, you
- 3:58Speaker 1: better I do, yes, I know, and then I went
- 4:03Speaker 1: she's fabulous. She was like, I like your eccent. I
- 4:06Speaker 1: can't do American accents, which is very much like I
- 4:08Speaker 1: like your accent. And I was like, I'm British. And
- 4:10Speaker 1: then she said, I think I own a castle in Britain.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I think that. I was like, I'm sure forgetting where
- 4:16Speaker 1: you have think I think I own a castle. I said, lovely,
- 4:20Speaker 1: I love the keys to that. If you're not using it,
- 4:22Speaker 1: I know. And then I got an invitation to a
- 4:25Speaker 1: party she did at Tower It's restaurant, and I turned
- 4:28Speaker 1: up and I just like, oh, it's going to be
- 4:30Speaker 1: a hundred people at this party. I'm in the v
- 4:32Speaker 1: I P room with share Walking and then Shares like,
- 4:36Speaker 1: come and sit with me, me and chess stuff. It's outrageous,
- 4:42Speaker 1: I know, but you have that life though, Let's be honest, Madonna, share,
- 4:47Speaker 1: you've met him all. I do have a fun life.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I do, But do you know what the secret is
- 4:51Speaker 1: to this too? I was lecturing somebody about this just
- 4:54Speaker 1: a few days ago, A dear friend of mine. Show up.
- 4:56Speaker 1: You've got to show up because you know, it's so
- 4:59Speaker 1: easy to not get off the couch. I know, I
- 5:02Speaker 1: know you're thinking, if you're invited to a share party
- 5:06Speaker 1: or to watch the Bachelorette, you're probably gonna get to
- 5:09Speaker 1: the share party. But I don't know if that's true.
- 5:11Speaker 1: A lot of my friends are invited to really fun
- 5:13Speaker 1: events and they don't come. They just don't believe. And
- 5:16Speaker 1: I do get it. You've got to show up in life.
- 5:19Speaker 1: It's hard. I know it's hard, and I've got the
- 5:21Speaker 1: tender madin help did. But we all got used to
- 5:24Speaker 1: stay at home, stay at homes lovely, isn't it. I'm
- 5:26Speaker 1: not putting down Stone. I love it. I love a night. Yeah,
- 5:29Speaker 1: but shares the chair to go out, you have to
- 5:32Speaker 1: shares not coming here, although you never know that sare
- 5:34Speaker 1: if you're listening to the Lower Lower Low. This brings
- 5:36Speaker 1: us to our pole question of the day, So share,
- 5:39Speaker 1: who is seventy six were spotted holding hands with Amber
- 5:42Speaker 1: Roses X, who is thirty six is forty years Is
- 5:46Speaker 1: that age gap? Is that too much? Hey? Go vote
- 5:50Speaker 1: on our Twitter page at Naughty Knights rob or at
- 5:52Speaker 1: Facebook page and orders. I'm be sure to check back
- 5:55Speaker 1: on Monday. Corey, what are you working on that? Yes? Well,
- 5:58Speaker 1: the way in weird is slam in his ex wife
- 6:00Speaker 1: Chavon's damaging lies about their trans daughter Ziah. Yeah. It's
- 6:04Speaker 1: a really difficult case though, because the child is involved.
- 6:07Speaker 1: But Dwyane Wade is exposing his wife's damaging lies after
- 6:10Speaker 1: she accused him of profiting off their transgender daughter Zaya.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Now the retired NBA player addressed Chavon Fuchias of Funches.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I believe is how you pronounced her her her maiden name,
- 6:22Speaker 1: Chavon Funches weights bombshell court filing, and he says that
- 6:25Speaker 1: he's not surprised by her attempt at all to fight
- 6:28Speaker 1: Zaia's identity and drag name through the mud. I'm very
- 6:33Speaker 1: disappointed that she continuously finds ways of centering herself and
- 6:37Speaker 1: her needs without the regard to her children, Wade, forty
- 6:41Speaker 1: years old, wrote, and he says, I've given her the
- 6:43Speaker 1: opportunity to reach out to Zia's teachers, doctors, and therapists
- 6:46Speaker 1: over the years, and even meet her friends so she
- 6:49Speaker 1: could get her own understanding of our child's needs for
- 6:52Speaker 1: her life, continued, but she won't do it now. The
- 6:56Speaker 1: former Miami Heat player alleged that Chavon forty one is
- 6:58Speaker 1: an absent parent who claims to be a good Christian mother,
- 7:02Speaker 1: but has that attended a single recite or graduation school
- 7:06Speaker 1: dead or even a play date. Now that's not very
- 7:10Speaker 1: Christian like. Would do this? One makes me so sad, Corey,
- 7:15Speaker 1: it makes me so angry to this one is so so,
- 7:18Speaker 1: so so complicated. What I think here is that this
- 7:21Speaker 1: is a conversation between the two adults and the child.
- 7:26Speaker 1: This should not be online. I'm shocked that it is.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Ex went to the media with this. Honestly, if your
- 7:33Speaker 1: concerns are what they are, and I believe you, I
- 7:35Speaker 1: take you at your your your face value here, then
- 7:38Speaker 1: talk about it with your daughter, your ex, and whoever
- 7:42Speaker 1: else needs to be involved. But I do not need
- 7:44Speaker 1: to be involved. Corey does not need to be involved. Now,
- 7:47Speaker 1: let's remember here, you're dragging a child into this who
- 7:51Speaker 1: certainly is going through enough in their own life. It's very,
- 7:55Speaker 1: very complicated. The trans issue is something that I've had
- 7:59Speaker 1: to educate my self of that. Corey, it's a game, man.
- 8:02Speaker 1: You would think that I would know all about this,
- 8:04Speaker 1: and I didn't. It was Caitlyn Jenna that really made
- 8:08Speaker 1: me sit down and have to think about this and
- 8:11Speaker 1: learn how to talk about this. And I'm really grateful
- 8:14Speaker 1: I made the effort because now I'm not an expert,
- 8:17Speaker 1: but now I understand how complicated this really is. And
- 8:20Speaker 1: my goodness, that brave, brave child. It's something that we
- 8:25Speaker 1: probably will never totally understand. But this is a conversation
- 8:29Speaker 1: for the adults and the child altogether. And shut up
- 8:35Speaker 1: on social media, both of you. I know why Dwayne
- 8:38Speaker 1: is fighting back on social media because he feels like
- 8:41Speaker 1: now she's poisoned this conversation. Hey, Moving along, Gselle settling
- 8:46Speaker 1: into life after her split with Tom Brady. So so
- 8:51Speaker 1: does this tell people magazine don't feel bad for her?
- 8:54Speaker 1: She's doing great. She actually enjoys her own life. She likes.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Don't know this it for like the last ten years,
- 9:00Speaker 1: he's barely been around, so she's sort of used to
- 9:02Speaker 1: being a single person. She's not somebody that is all
- 9:05Speaker 1: of a sudden, like I'm alone in the house. She's
- 9:08Speaker 1: got a children, she's got a career, she's got a friend,
- 9:11Speaker 1: she's got a family. And they said he's sort of
- 9:13Speaker 1: trained her over the last thirteen years to know what
- 9:15Speaker 1: it's like to be single, so don't worry about her.
- 9:19Speaker 1: They literally said, quote he is life has been his
- 9:22Speaker 1: own four years, and now her life is hers with
- 9:26Speaker 1: her children, and she's going to be fine. And they
- 9:28Speaker 1: said she's not at all afraid of being alone. And
- 9:32Speaker 1: that's so interesting because I would be. I don't like
- 9:35Speaker 1: being alone. And now, well, I think once you've been
- 9:38Speaker 1: with someone, it is an't adjustment, like all of a sudden,
- 9:40Speaker 1: Bruce wasn't there, or for me, my Joe wasn't there yet.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I'd have a hard time with that. But if they
- 9:45Speaker 1: were like not there already, she's used to it. So
- 9:49Speaker 1: she's like whatever, I mean, She's getting my things and go.
- 9:51Speaker 1: She's worried. And she said they like friends are like
- 9:54Speaker 1: she doesn't even really need to pack up that many
- 9:56Speaker 1: things because he lived at a different house. He was
- 9:59Speaker 1: in Tampa, she was in Miami. All right. This guy
- 10:04Speaker 1: that used to come and visit on the weekends. Is
- 10:05Speaker 1: not coming anymore. We'll get out here, It's yeah. And
- 10:09Speaker 1: they'll both be fine. I mean financially, they're both physically mortal.
- 10:13Speaker 1: They'll be fine. They'll be fine. Oh, I can't wait
- 10:15Speaker 1: to see who they start dating. Well, she Dave, Pete,
- 10:18Speaker 1: Davidson White, everybody else is why not to be listening
- 10:25Speaker 1: a lower lower lower page. Oh it's too much, is Hey?
- 10:28Speaker 1: What's going on with Jennifer Lawrence? I thought this was
- 10:30Speaker 1: such an interesting conversation that she's had. Yeah, it is interesting,
- 10:34Speaker 1: and I have a thought on it as well. But so,
- 10:36Speaker 1: Jennifer Lawrence regrets not taking Adele's career advice over a
- 10:39Speaker 1: certain box office bomb. Now I'll just first say, I'm
- 10:42Speaker 1: not sure if a Delf the person to get a
- 10:43Speaker 1: career advice from after that Vegas tobacco. But that's anyway.
- 10:47Speaker 1: But Jennifer admitted to making some poor project decisions throughout
- 10:51Speaker 1: her career, one of which was starting in the two
- 10:53Speaker 1: thousand and sixteen Sci five film Passengers, And the film
- 10:56Speaker 1: started h she was opposite Chris Pratt in this film,
- 11:00Speaker 1: and she said, you know, she quickly discovered that the
- 11:02Speaker 1: film was no less than a box office, but domestically
- 11:05Speaker 1: when it racked up an endless negative reviews stream and
- 11:08Speaker 1: also it scored a woefull thirty on Rotten Tomatoes. She says,
- 11:13Speaker 1: I was like, Oh, no, you guys are here because
- 11:15Speaker 1: I'm here, and I'm here because you're here. Wait, who
- 11:18Speaker 1: decided that this was a good movie, she told The
- 11:20Speaker 1: New York Times before she clarified that that's how Passengers
- 11:23Speaker 1: made her feel. Now, The actress revealed also that you know,
- 11:27Speaker 1: the sound of device she ultimately ignored was by none
- 11:30Speaker 1: other than the singer Adele. She says, Adele told me
- 11:34Speaker 1: not to do it. She was like, I feel like
- 11:37Speaker 1: space movies are the new vampire movies. I should have
- 11:39Speaker 1: listened to her, Laurence said, And everything was like a
- 11:42Speaker 1: rebound effect. I was reacting rather than just acting. I
- 11:45Speaker 1: feel more like I felt more like a celebrity in
- 11:48Speaker 1: that moment that the actor was cut off from my creativity,
- 11:51Speaker 1: my imagination, Lawrence added, So let me just say really quickly,
- 11:53Speaker 1: Adele's Adele's analogy there is a little off because if
- 11:57Speaker 1: you look at vampire movies, if I look at from
- 12:00Speaker 1: even going back to The Lost Boys, I interview with
- 12:04Speaker 1: a vampire. If I look at the Twilight movie series,
- 12:07Speaker 1: like there are hits so lucky this should if this
- 12:12Speaker 1: had been a vampire type show would have been a hit.
- 12:15Speaker 1: She'd be fine interested, isn't it? Like I do listen
- 12:17Speaker 1: to my friends advice, maybe not necessarily about my career.
- 12:22Speaker 1: A lot of my friends are not in show business,
- 12:23Speaker 1: so they do not know if I should lead the
- 12:25Speaker 1: show with Megan Mark or that. You know, they always
- 12:29Speaker 1: got for the obscure stuff, like they're more interested in
- 12:31Speaker 1: stuff that we've never ever heard of. Like you know,
- 12:34Speaker 1: we have a lot of listeners, were very lucky, and
- 12:37Speaker 1: there's a lot of nor tears, and so we wanted
- 12:39Speaker 1: your stories that you want that you want to here.
- 12:42Speaker 1: But I do listen to my friends. I think if
- 12:45Speaker 1: anything here Jennifer shouldn't be talking about what her friend
- 12:48Speaker 1: Adele told her. But really the people that are on payroll,
- 12:51Speaker 1: what did your manager and your agent and all those people,
- 12:54Speaker 1: well those are the ones that I look at, Like
- 12:56Speaker 1: when it comes to work, I expect people that work
- 12:58Speaker 1: with me for me to give me sound advice. And
- 13:01Speaker 1: if my manager gave me a bomb script, yes, what
- 13:05Speaker 1: nobody knows. Often you can't you know, win everything. But
- 13:10Speaker 1: when you're a professional and you're paid to be able
- 13:12Speaker 1: to tell, why aren't you telling me? I'd look at
- 13:14Speaker 1: the agent and say, honey, you gave me that script now,
- 13:18Speaker 1: and they gave me twenty million dollars and it was
- 13:19Speaker 1: a terrible script. I'll do it or see that's she's
- 13:22Speaker 1: probably leaving that party. And she read it herself. She
- 13:26Speaker 1: knew it was bad. Then she looked at the check
- 13:30Speaker 1: to me that zero. Jlo told me that about Jeli
- 13:34Speaker 1: when I met to Jolo. She did Gelie, possibly the
- 13:36Speaker 1: worst movie of all time, And so Jennifer was lying.
- 13:39Speaker 1: But they paid me millions, So what do I her
- 13:42Speaker 1: the check? I mean, she knew she's too much of
- 13:44Speaker 1: a professional to not read that or no, but she
- 13:47Speaker 1: looked at the money. Good for you, Joelo. I'd probably
- 13:49Speaker 1: do the same quickly before we got a break. Oh no,
- 13:51Speaker 1: my friend Don Lemon has started a new morning show
- 13:54Speaker 1: on CNN and it's an absolute bomb. Oh the ratings.
- 13:58Speaker 1: We're really bad for the first day. And get this,
- 14:01Speaker 1: this is what makes it even more troubling. The show
- 14:05Speaker 1: that Don replaced was higher rated, So not only did
- 14:10Speaker 1: it do terrible against the competition, Morning Joe, Fox and Friends,
- 14:14Speaker 1: it just wasn't doing as well as the show that
- 14:16Speaker 1: read the day before. I think here morning shows they're
- 14:20Speaker 1: a thing, aren't they, people being happy like us and
- 14:23Speaker 1: and perky and wearing bright and almost doing cooking segments.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I don't think people tune in to see an end
- 14:29Speaker 1: for that. I think they turn in just for the news.
- 14:31Speaker 1: They just want someone behind the desk telling them the news.
- 14:34Speaker 1: They don't really want a big personality, they just want
- 14:37Speaker 1: the news. And so for the last decade, if you've
- 14:40Speaker 1: been watching see An ends in the morning and suddenly
- 14:43Speaker 1: you turn on and it's done, but doing the tap dads, yeah,
- 14:47Speaker 1: I think, yeah, I don't know what is going to
- 14:49Speaker 1: work and listen just really quickly. And the thing is,
- 14:52Speaker 1: he's not doing the tap days I tuned in. I
- 14:54Speaker 1: loved him, love to check it out. And I got
- 14:57Speaker 1: to tell you, He's like, don if you're listening, I'm sorry,
- 14:59Speaker 1: but you know you you're a little um, You're a
- 15:02Speaker 1: little nut happy that I've got to I haven't watched
- 15:06Speaker 1: it yet, and I'm so naughty. I hope he's not
- 15:08Speaker 1: listening because I texted him. Me and don't text each other,
- 15:10Speaker 1: so I texted him. I was like, I love the
- 15:11Speaker 1: new show. I hadn't seen it. Tell him I love
- 15:15Speaker 1: the new show. He didn't respond, so I knew something
- 15:17Speaker 1: was up. Yeah, he seems like kind of that old
- 15:19Speaker 1: grubby men. Oh yeah you do. You're be you done. Hey,
- 15:26Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:27Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Night
- 15:32Speaker 1: Show and your host Rob shoot with their dear friend
- 15:34Speaker 1: Corey Andrew. Hey, Corey, let's get to the polls that
- 15:37Speaker 1: yesterday Marlow Thomas upset Sherry Shepherd staffers. Not so much Sherry,
- 15:43Speaker 1: but she upset the staff there because she really did
- 15:45Speaker 1: fat shame Sherry on here. She did she fat shamed her.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Oh it's terrible. So she said, last time I saw you, Sherry,
- 15:53Speaker 1: you were heavier. She was trying to give her a compliment,
- 15:55Speaker 1: saying you've lost a lot of weight, but then she
- 15:56Speaker 1: blew her face up like a blue one and said,
- 15:59Speaker 1: like she did an impression of a fat person. It
- 16:03Speaker 1: was well. Now she's apologized. She was on Rasa's show
- 16:06Speaker 1: on Good Day New York and Rosanna asked her about it,
- 16:09Speaker 1: and she said she's mortified and she's apologized, but Our
- 16:12Speaker 1: question was was Marla being funny, which I think she
- 16:15Speaker 1: thought she was rude. Let's have said rude, no fat jokes.
- 16:20Speaker 1: It's never funny, even if he think it's a compliment,
- 16:22Speaker 1: it's just not Stay away from it. Stay away from it. Hey,
- 16:26Speaker 1: don't forget to vote on today's Paul. Go to our
- 16:28Speaker 1: Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob or a Facebook page
- 16:32Speaker 1: called Naughty Gossip, and be sure to check back on
- 16:34Speaker 1: Monday to hear your results. Hey, Corey, let's do our
- 16:38Speaker 1: nicest of the day. Young. Yes, Well, speaking of Marlow,
- 16:42Speaker 1: Tom is of course Marlow, like you just mentioned Rob,
- 16:45Speaker 1: She's saying that she is sorry for body shaming Sherry Shepherd,
- 16:48Speaker 1: and she says, my lesson has been learned now. Of
- 16:51Speaker 1: course Marlow issued that me a copper after upsetting many
- 16:54Speaker 1: people by body shaming Sherry as you just described on
- 16:57Speaker 1: Sherry's talk show, and she says, I'm very upset at
- 17:00Speaker 1: about that. The award winning actress eighty four said on
- 17:02Speaker 1: Good Day New York Thursday, she says, I mean I
- 17:05Speaker 1: love her. I thought I was given a compliment. I said, well,
- 17:07Speaker 1: you've really lost a lot of weight, but I realized
- 17:09Speaker 1: you're not supposed to do that. So Thomas then also
- 17:12Speaker 1: noted that she has now learned her lesson and she'll
- 17:14Speaker 1: never do it again. And she says, I've never want
- 17:16Speaker 1: to tell you how good you look. Never did that.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Girl Alum jokingly told girl Rosanna Scotto with the Left,
- 17:23Speaker 1: I was talking to Rosanna about this. It's such a
- 17:25Speaker 1: good interview. She's the best in the business. She's my
- 17:27Speaker 1: friend to Rosanna Scota. But so the day after the
- 17:30Speaker 1: Sherry Shepherd Show, she was on Rosanna Show and Rosanna
- 17:33Speaker 1: had to ask you about it. This news was everywhere.
- 17:35Speaker 1: But it's an uncomfortable question to ask. Watch her. Rosanna
- 17:39Speaker 1: does it, and it is a lesson for anybody out
- 17:42Speaker 1: there who wants to interview celebrities. Watch her. Rosanna asked
- 17:46Speaker 1: Marlow about this awful incident. Rosanna, you're a nicest of
- 17:49Speaker 1: the day. Let's do our naughtiest day. So apparently King
- 17:55Speaker 1: Charles needs a valet you to carry his teddy bear around.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Book out The King of the Life of Charles the
- 18:03Speaker 1: Third and Christopher Anderson, the very very good author writes
- 18:07Speaker 1: that Charles used to have his valet in charge of
- 18:12Speaker 1: looking after his stuffed animal, even in his forties. Whenever
- 18:17Speaker 1: the toy needed some mending, they get somewhere and tear
- 18:20Speaker 1: God forbid the little Teddy Bears. I falls out. His
- 18:23Speaker 1: former nanny, Mabel Anderson was brought out of retirement to
- 18:27Speaker 1: fix the bear. In fact, the only people that could
- 18:29Speaker 1: touch the Teddy Bear was his former nanny, the valet
- 18:33Speaker 1: and Charles. Oh my gosh, I cannot deal with that story.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Like It's like his bear had his own footman like
- 18:39Speaker 1: down to an abbey. So I know. I do believe
- 18:44Speaker 1: though that Charles is trying to change and modernize the monarchy.
- 18:48Speaker 1: They don't have the money anymore for all these staff members,
- 18:52Speaker 1: but it is very naughty and concerning. Hey, let's end
- 18:56Speaker 1: with a moment of rob you gotta I love this
- 18:59Speaker 1: quote from jay Z. It's quite deep. We will unpack it.
- 19:02Speaker 1: He said the following. The way to redeem your past
- 19:07Speaker 1: is not from running away from it, but rather trying
- 19:11Speaker 1: to understand it and use it as a foundation. So everybody,
- 19:15Speaker 1: we've all had trauma in our past. We've all had
- 19:18Speaker 1: things that have happened to us that have been cruel,
- 19:20Speaker 1: that have scarred us. Instead of running away from those things,
- 19:24Speaker 1: you've got to run towards them. Once I realized that
- 19:28Speaker 1: I was packing my life with things to do to
- 19:32Speaker 1: distract me, to distract me from the pay and the hurt,
- 19:36Speaker 1: the trauma that I've never ever dealt with. Once I
- 19:39Speaker 1: stopped doing that and I ran towards that trauma instead
- 19:43Speaker 1: of some event or some function, I actually learned to
- 19:47Speaker 1: make peace. Jay Z. This is such an important quote.
- 19:51Speaker 1: It changed my life, Corey. Do you sometimes pack your life,
- 19:55Speaker 1: make yourself so busy that you don't have to think
- 19:57Speaker 1: about the really hard stuff us? And you know what,
- 20:00Speaker 1: I'm beginning to start to stop doing that, And You've
- 20:04Speaker 1: been a big help with me doing that because I
- 20:06Speaker 1: learned one of your quotes, which is that you know,
- 20:08Speaker 1: no is a complete sentence no. So I've learned to
- 20:11Speaker 1: stop kind of bombarding myself with things and really facing
- 20:14Speaker 1: what's ahead and not being trapped and defined by my
- 20:17Speaker 1: past errors or mistakes. So I'm just by the way
- 20:20Speaker 1: I'm delivering to talk tomorrow too, students on that very
- 20:22Speaker 1: topic called Obstacles Our Opportunity. Oh, Corey, I'm so excited
- 20:28Speaker 1: for you. Those students are very very lucky. That is
- 20:31Speaker 1: it for this week. Thank you so much for listening
- 20:35Speaker 1: to the Naughty but Nice with Rob and Corey Show,
