A Fresno County prosecutor was stabbed three times in the back while filming a campaign ad — an attack the district attorney blames on California’s lenient criminal justice reforms, calling them “Hug a Thug” policies. The suspect, known as Crawford and with a prior record, reportedly recognized the prosecutor from a past case.
