- 0:00Speaker 1: Talk, Talk Talk. We're just two unapologetically black women with
- 0:05Speaker 1: an opinion. You talked, Oh.
- 0:11Speaker 2: What's up y'all? Thank you for tuning in for a
- 0:13Speaker 2: new episode, and we talked back A show dedicated to
- 0:16Speaker 2: you dreamers and chasers and everybody else.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Today anyway, it's your co host AJ Holiday.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Y'all, it's me Tan Bama. I love y'all once again.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I love you, AJ girl. Thanksgiving just passed.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Did you eat a lot?
- 0:35Speaker 1: Girl? I ate everything wasn't nailed to the table. I
- 0:38Speaker 1: went down to Montgomery, Alabama, where my sister lives. She
- 0:41Speaker 1: hosted this year, and I was only supposed to make.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I set everybody up with what they were supposed to do,
- 0:50Speaker 1: and they agreed to it, right, So I made sure
- 0:53Speaker 1: to make my lists very small of what I was
- 0:55Speaker 1: supposed to do. I was supposed to make a potter
- 0:58Speaker 1: rice and some deviled eggs, no mac. Tanisha was insistent
- 1:04Speaker 1: that it was her house and she was making the
- 1:06Speaker 1: mac and cheese this year. Fine, whatever. Before I knew it,
- 1:17Speaker 1: I had done made the collar greens, dressing, rice and gravy,
- 1:21Speaker 1: some mashed potatoes and devil eggs, and I was helping
- 1:30Speaker 1: her with the mag shame. She tried to show your
- 1:35Speaker 1: mac up this year. She tried, she tried. It wasn't mine.
- 1:40Speaker 1: It was good, but it wasn't mine. You know what
- 1:42Speaker 1: I'm saying. You did anything for the weekend? Oh yeah,
- 1:46Speaker 1: we went to We went to the museum, the Legacy
- 1:51Speaker 1: Museum in Montgomery. It was very I ain't want to
- 1:55Speaker 1: be there. I ran through it. I ain't gonna lie.
- 1:57Speaker 1: I ran through it. That ship was like little chap
- 1:59Speaker 1: of horrors. It was literally like as soon as you
- 2:02Speaker 1: walk in the museum, niggas heads on the ground. God. Yeah,
- 2:07Speaker 1: it was like they was in the ocean, the people
- 2:10Speaker 1: who jumped off the boats, so all their heads was
- 2:14Speaker 1: like down in the sand and they just was like
- 2:16Speaker 1: screaming and you can hear chains, and I was like,
- 2:19Speaker 1: I don't want to put myself through this. They had
- 2:22Speaker 1: like jars up. They literally had people go to the
- 2:26Speaker 1: places where we've known black people were lynched and dig
- 2:30Speaker 1: some of the sand from under the tree and put
- 2:33Speaker 1: it in the jar and bring it there. So she's
- 2:36Speaker 1: looked there like, oh, some of their DNA might be
- 2:38Speaker 1: in that sand. What is wrong with people?
- 2:41Speaker 2: Like listen, I believe in witchcraft period I might do
- 2:46Speaker 2: a little something something. That shit sounds crazy as hell
- 2:50Speaker 2: to me that y'all going to take remains from people
- 2:53Speaker 2: and bind them in a jar somewhere in a museum,
- 2:56Speaker 2: y'all doing replications of people in the sand.
- 3:00Speaker 1: That is weird to.
- 3:01Speaker 2: That's just like when we went to Memphis and y'all
- 3:03Speaker 2: went to that goddamn museum.
- 3:04Speaker 1: That's what I not. That's what I said. I do
- 3:08Speaker 1: not do none of that no more. It's just doesn't
- 3:10Speaker 1: I was like, do y'all feel good now like this?
- 3:14Speaker 1: I feel I feel sad.
- 3:17Speaker 2: I have so much more, greater things that we could
- 3:19Speaker 2: put in a museum about black people.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I swear yeah. I was like, is this our legacy?
- 3:26Speaker 1: Because it's called the Legacy Museum, and what nothing but
- 3:29Speaker 1: black people there? So it's like, it's not our legacy.
- 3:32Speaker 1: We're living our own trauma. I understand the importantness of
- 3:37Speaker 1: importance of knowing the history, but I don't feel like
- 3:40Speaker 1: that's for us. I think white people should go to
- 3:43Speaker 1: that ship.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Yes, exactly, how they do to how they how the
- 3:46Speaker 2: Jewish people do to people when they step overstep their bounds.
- 3:51Speaker 2: They send their ass to the damn the Holocaust museum.
- 3:53Speaker 2: That's what that's for. That's not for black people. Y'all
- 3:56Speaker 2: have done enough of ciphering our goddamn energy. Yeah, and
- 3:59Speaker 2: now you and I saw in the building circulating looking
- 4:02Speaker 2: at all this crazy.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Name, all this pain. So I ran through that ship,
- 4:09Speaker 1: waiting for everybody outside, I let I ran through that Yeah,
- 4:16Speaker 1: straight up, straight up, I ran through that motherfucker, I
- 4:20Speaker 1: said outside, wait on, niggas. I was like, I sit
- 4:24Speaker 1: out that bitch like somebody got a newport. That ship
- 4:30Speaker 1: almost driving me to smokepoorts after But then we went
- 4:35Speaker 1: down to the river boat and we saw the Harriet
- 4:38Speaker 1: and then the chair was out there. I got a
- 4:41Speaker 1: picture y'all have me holding the folded chair in the sky.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Like why ya YadA, like I've heard of me like that.
- 4:49Speaker 1: That made me feel better, girl, that ship is wild
- 4:54Speaker 1: no longer. It ain't over. So then that night to
- 4:56Speaker 1: the club called Infusions something like that. Montgomery. These niggas
- 5:05Speaker 1: do not dance. The only type of dance they do
- 5:09Speaker 1: is line dancing. Bitch. When a song they and they
- 5:12Speaker 1: got line dances that don't nobody know about out that
- 5:14Speaker 1: motherfucker to songs, I'm like, damn, who came up with
- 5:18Speaker 1: this and then motherfuckers was honky talking baby they was
- 5:22Speaker 1: but any other thing. Don't nobody dance? It was weird.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Only line dancing. That's the only dancing I seen them do.
- 5:30Speaker 1: So you've seen some niggas of gold teeth line dancing,
- 5:33Speaker 1: line dancing like a mom shit had seventeen steps up. Well,
- 5:44Speaker 1: I think it about you. We need to post that
- 5:46Speaker 1: video were supposed toly was doing that?
- 5:48Speaker 2: Mia up to me a dance?
- 5:50Speaker 1: Oh I tried to learn that shit over.
- 5:51Speaker 2: We can't too, No, girl, I ain't got enough coordination
- 5:55Speaker 2: or brain cells for that shit. Man, I need space
- 5:58Speaker 2: for other things too much to remember.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Child.
- 6:03Speaker 2: So this weekend, So this weekend I went to Charleston
- 6:07Speaker 2: and the Thanksgiving Thanksgiving wasn't nothing major. It's just we
- 6:13Speaker 2: barely cooked food for real, man, really, and I really
- 6:16Speaker 2: don't need to eat anyway. She cooked like turkey wings
- 6:19Speaker 2: and shit, I made a mac, so I had mac
- 6:21Speaker 2: and calagreens.
- 6:22Speaker 1: That's it. But and.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Friday night, so our schools are high schools, they had
- 6:30Speaker 2: like alumni games, like basketball games. Four high schools. It
- 6:35Speaker 2: was lit.
- 6:37Speaker 1: And then.
- 6:39Speaker 2: The high schools that I went to in West Ashley,
- 6:43Speaker 2: they had like an alumni party Saturday night, so that
- 6:47Speaker 2: was nice to see people I hadn't seen in years.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Acting stupid, acting up.
- 6:54Speaker 2: And then we went to a little hood spot after that,
- 6:56Speaker 2: so it was a little outside weekend for the most part.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I ain't see no my fucking heads in the sand. Right,
- 7:05Speaker 1: you went to a black school, I said, I said,
- 7:08Speaker 1: we went to a black school.
- 7:10Speaker 2: We don't have a well, I guess you could. You
- 7:12Speaker 2: might consider North Charleston High School a black school. Yeah,
- 7:16Speaker 2: North Charlston would be a black school. But no, I'm
- 7:18Speaker 2: from West Ashley, so the schools was mixed. So the
- 7:20Speaker 2: two high schools we had St. Andrews and Middleton, they
- 7:23Speaker 2: ended up merging my last year of high school, well
- 7:26Speaker 2: last two years of high school. But they always was
- 7:29Speaker 2: like rivals, so they played against each other. Then No
- 7:32Speaker 2: Choleston Downtown played against each other, and then the winners
- 7:36Speaker 2: had to play each other.
- 7:37Speaker 1: So it was cool. You. I feel like black schools
- 7:40Speaker 1: always get together for some shit. My school was predominantly white.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I ain't seen the motherfucker since I graduated. We had nothing.
- 7:47Speaker 1: It's so weird that.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Yeah, we didn't go to all all white schools or
- 7:52Speaker 2: all black schools. But only the black people was outside
- 7:54Speaker 2: for these things, So maybe maybe the game was only
- 7:59Speaker 2: maybe we're the only one that actually put these stuff together.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Because I'm gonna tell you, I feel like I mentioned
- 8:03Speaker 2: this before when we did our ten year high school
- 8:04Speaker 2: re union, I didn't realize how racist the white people
- 8:07Speaker 2: were that we went to school with. When I tell you,
- 8:10Speaker 2: like the black people planned the reunion, it was really really,
- 8:14Speaker 2: really nice, top notch, even if the principal of school came.
- 8:18Speaker 2: But like I said, we came from two different high schools,
- 8:20Speaker 2: so Middleton was more of the honky tongue school, you
- 8:23Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. The Snandrews, like we all raised together,
- 8:26Speaker 2: the black and white people. The white people from Middleton
- 8:29Speaker 2: were so racist when we were planning this goddamn reunion.
- 8:33Speaker 2: They're like, I don't know any of these people. They
- 8:35Speaker 2: went and had them a beach day.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Girl.
- 8:37Speaker 2: They didn't even come to the reunion.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Well, welcome to South Carolina. So ooh, girl, isn't it anyway?
- 8:45Speaker 1: That was my weekend? Child.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Let's take a break right quick and get into this
- 8:48Speaker 2: stupid internet news.
- 8:52Speaker 1: All right, y'all, we back and Kingly disaster.
- 8:55Speaker 2: What we know all y'all seen King and t I
- 9:03Speaker 2: arguing over the weekend.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Tiny too oh, Tiny was there too? Right?
- 9:09Speaker 2: I can't hear a little voice in the background, just
- 9:11Speaker 2: that that fucking spoiled as bratt. Okay, it's gonna come
- 9:18Speaker 2: a day when you got to put hands on one
- 9:20Speaker 2: of your kids, at least one, it's gonna give you hell.
- 9:24Speaker 1: And he's that metal kid. He is one of the children.
- 9:28Speaker 1: He is entitled. He's just not a nice young man period.
- 9:33Speaker 1: He's not nice to his parents. How he presents on
- 9:36Speaker 1: social media. It's just not becoming. They named him King.
- 9:40Speaker 1: That's where they fucked up. He probably already got a
- 9:43Speaker 1: complex about superiority to people with that name ship. They
- 9:49Speaker 1: need to like cut him off financially so he can
- 9:53Speaker 1: be humbled.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I think no, I don't think they need to. I
- 9:57Speaker 2: think he needs to go to therapy. I went to
- 9:59Speaker 2: his page because I have I had a theory in
- 10:01Speaker 2: my mind about what was going on with him, and
- 10:03Speaker 2: I do think he has some mental health that she
- 10:05Speaker 2: was going on. I went to this page and this
- 10:07Speaker 2: is I went further back than the last few days,
- 10:10Speaker 2: so I can see, like what his comments usually look like.
- 10:14Speaker 2: The amount of people that was calling that boy ugly
- 10:16Speaker 2: and saying little weird things about him was overwhelming. And
- 10:21Speaker 2: it's just me looking at it. Yeah, right, So imagine
- 10:24Speaker 2: being the recipient of these comments daily when.
- 10:28Speaker 1: You just try to live Breathe he has.
- 10:31Speaker 2: He definitely has a complex, multiple of them, and the
- 10:34Speaker 2: Internet play a big role in that. Yeah, Like, and
- 10:38Speaker 2: how do you while everybody you know he looks different,
- 10:41Speaker 2: We're just going to say that he does look different.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Right. I don't think the drags.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Help, you know, he may me just get a little
- 10:49Speaker 2: regular color haircut.
- 10:50Speaker 1: But I think, all right, So I think these young
- 10:53Speaker 1: people have like social anxieties that we didn't have, and
- 10:58Speaker 1: you know, not in the amount that has it. And
- 11:00Speaker 1: I really think that they be hiding under that hair
- 11:03Speaker 1: and that's why they grow it down in their face
- 11:05Speaker 1: so they can hide under it. Why is your hair
- 11:09Speaker 1: in your face like that? I think it's the place
- 11:11Speaker 1: to hide. Absolutely. So.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Now me, if that were my child, we'd be going
- 11:16Speaker 2: to therapy because now your TI's son, right, You're trying
- 11:22Speaker 2: to now, you know, have your own separate identity from
- 11:25Speaker 2: your parents, and look how you're being received by the world.
- 11:28Speaker 1: But I think cutting him off from money and excess
- 11:32Speaker 1: is a form of therapy because he wants to. It's
- 11:36Speaker 1: an exercise because you feel like you struggle and may
- 11:42Speaker 1: I won't say he don't have no traumas, because just
- 11:44Speaker 1: because you have money doesn't mean that you don't see
- 11:47Speaker 1: trauma growing up. Right, we all have things that happen
- 11:50Speaker 1: to us, whether we're poor or rich. But you want
- 11:54Speaker 1: to be hood so bad, I'm gonna give you an
- 11:57Speaker 1: opportunity to feel it in a away in a significant way.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Not just yeah.
- 12:02Speaker 2: But then their son might end up in prison. They
- 12:04Speaker 2: might he might end up in prison. You know what
- 12:06Speaker 2: I'm saying, trying to get it out the mud in
- 12:09Speaker 2: the band, you know what I'm saying, Like, if I
- 12:11Speaker 2: have the means, I'm never gonna make my child struggle.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Absolutely not. I'll try to.
- 12:17Speaker 1: If he if he gonna end up in jail because
- 12:19Speaker 1: you cutting off his money, he go in jail with money,
- 12:23Speaker 1: what's the train of thought that's gonna make you go
- 12:25Speaker 1: do some dumb ship like that that you wouldn't do
- 12:28Speaker 1: it with the money.
- 12:30Speaker 2: I don't know, I just could. I just want to
- 12:32Speaker 2: do that. I don't think that that's to me. That's
- 12:34Speaker 2: not where I was starting And I think the Internet
- 12:37Speaker 2: wants to see that. I think people want to see
- 12:39Speaker 2: him have nothing right because we we elevate people and
- 12:43Speaker 2: then we all not.
- 12:44Speaker 1: And I say we.
- 12:45Speaker 2: I'm talking about the collective because this is never my mind,
- 12:48Speaker 2: my state of mind, and when I think about people
- 12:50Speaker 2: like black people love to elevate a motherfucker and also
- 12:53Speaker 2: simultaneously be the person to bring them down. It's not
- 12:56Speaker 2: my job to humble anybody. It's not any any one
- 12:59Speaker 2: of our jobs to hum.
- 13:00Speaker 1: No, it's his parents job, That's what I'm talking about.
- 13:03Speaker 1: It's his parents' job. And I think they missed the
- 13:05Speaker 1: mark with that with him, Like he needs to learn
- 13:07Speaker 1: some humility, but all other.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Kids are good, all other kids like he needs to
- 13:13Speaker 2: learn balance. But there's something else at played. That's what
- 13:17Speaker 2: I'm saying. It's not just about him wanting to be bad.
- 13:20Speaker 2: He's acting out for Okay, So here's what the document says.
- 13:23Speaker 1: It says a lot.
- 13:25Speaker 2: They were at the Falcons game, so he's embarrassing in them,
- 13:28Speaker 2: embarrassing them at a fucking football game. Shit win Sideways,
- 13:32Speaker 2: King started arguing with his parents. Voices intentions continue to
- 13:36Speaker 2: rise as two sides yell at each other so what
- 13:39Speaker 2: it says is that a crowd of people can be
- 13:41Speaker 2: heard teasing King saying he had a silver spoon in
- 13:44Speaker 2: his mouth, but he barked back, yelling it wasn't true.
- 13:47Speaker 2: His mother attempted to remind him of his wealthy upbringing
- 13:50Speaker 2: as a child. Toddy then mentioned that the only reason
- 13:53Speaker 2: King loved going over to his grand grandmother's house was
- 13:56Speaker 2: not so that he could run around with his hood
- 13:59Speaker 2: raft friends, but because he because she allowed him to
- 14:03Speaker 2: suck and spacify into leave as well. The nineteen year
- 14:09Speaker 2: old appeared to be offended, claiming that his parents were
- 14:12Speaker 2: trying to hide the fact that he was really in
- 14:14Speaker 2: the streets doing all the things, and the two of
- 14:17Speaker 2: them tried to stare him away from At one point,
- 14:21Speaker 2: TI could be her yelling.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Nigga, nigga, you ain't.
- 14:25Speaker 2: You are an embarrassment to your family.
- 14:28Speaker 1: You are an embarrassment.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Later, King of so your exactly Later, King appeared to
- 14:32Speaker 2: pose an obscured photo from behind a car wheel. He
- 14:37Speaker 2: added the next text, I stand on business, don't give
- 14:41Speaker 2: a fuck who you are.
- 14:43Speaker 1: So you feel like this nigga who stands on business
- 14:46Speaker 1: don't give a fuck who you are? Probably in the
- 14:48Speaker 1: car that his parents had provided him should not be
- 14:51Speaker 1: taught given an exercise in getting money for yourself.
- 14:57Speaker 2: And even his own daddy clan in him. It says
- 14:59Speaker 2: early this month t I couldn't help but clown his
- 15:02Speaker 2: son King Harris over the latter's new teeth. What. During
- 15:11Speaker 2: an appearance on the Baller Alert Show, King was asked
- 15:14Speaker 2: about his newly white and teeth those are not just
- 15:16Speaker 2: newly white. And he went to somebody cheap to get
- 15:19Speaker 2: them chip lit things big.
- 15:23Speaker 1: And because I don't seen a lot of people come
- 15:28Speaker 1: back with him, begins teeth in their mouth. And you
- 15:30Speaker 1: gotta act like you don't.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Notice when I know, hold on when you just said that,
- 15:35Speaker 2: you gotta act like you don't notice when they tell you.
- 15:39Speaker 2: I know so many people who got them things in
- 15:43Speaker 2: their mouth, and I can't help but stare at them
- 15:46Speaker 2: when they talk.
- 15:47Speaker 1: You gotta act like you don't see that ship about
- 15:49Speaker 1: to jump out their face. Yah.
- 15:56Speaker 2: So more of the story is he needs ask well,
- 15:59Speaker 2: but he also needs their man. He going through it.
- 16:01Speaker 1: He going through it. He needs therapy, and he needs
- 16:03Speaker 1: some financial humility exercises.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Nah, I don't think that's the way, but anyway.
- 16:11Speaker 1: A long couple with therapy, that they have to come
- 16:16Speaker 1: from a dark angry place. It ain't gonna come from
- 16:19Speaker 1: a dark angry place like what cut you off? No,
- 16:22Speaker 1: it's like more like we want you to experience life
- 16:27Speaker 1: without the financial help that that your family provides you,
- 16:31Speaker 1: so you can understand how privileged you really have been,
- 16:35Speaker 1: because there's a disconnect somewhere. It don't have to be
- 16:42Speaker 1: it don't. I ain't say put him on the street,
- 16:45Speaker 1: but he might end up there.
- 16:46Speaker 2: He might not even have the wherewithal to create something
- 16:50Speaker 2: out of nothing, you know what I'm saying. But because
- 16:54Speaker 2: he has been so privileged and spoiled, like you know what,
- 16:56Speaker 2: I like, that's he.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Ain't kid give him like take He probably still live
- 17:01Speaker 1: at home. I mean I don't. We don't know how
- 17:05Speaker 1: he living or what the setup is. You know, she's
- 17:07Speaker 1: only nineteen years old. He's only nineteen years old. I
- 17:11Speaker 1: doubt that he's got his own place. So it an't
- 17:15Speaker 1: way he got to pay rent nowhere. Just a kid,
- 17:20Speaker 1: He's just a kid. Parents, That's what I'm saying, giving
- 17:24Speaker 1: their kids allowance all the time, And why is it
- 17:26Speaker 1: any different for king when they misbehaved, they get cut
- 17:32Speaker 1: off from their allowance. I don't understand why it's any
- 17:34Speaker 1: different from him for him.
- 17:38Speaker 2: M I feel I have a lot of I think
- 17:40Speaker 2: I have a lot of empathy for King because I've
- 17:43Speaker 2: seen how people be talking to him and then you're
- 17:45Speaker 2: at a football game and people chanting shit.
- 17:48Speaker 1: At you, like what the fuck?
- 17:50Speaker 2: Like, why is that even happening? How did he cause
- 17:54Speaker 2: that to happen? Did he cause it to happen? Or
- 17:56Speaker 2: was he's talking shit to somebody? Like why is that happening?
- 18:00Speaker 1: I think it's been his social media persona that he gives,
- 18:06Speaker 1: entitled little ship. That's what he gives.
- 18:13Speaker 2: All right, let's move on from King a little badass. Anyway,
- 18:16Speaker 2: We're gonna pray finally, we love you, my young boy.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Y'all listen, if you are on dating websites hinge, uh,
- 18:24Speaker 2: plenty of fish.
- 18:26Speaker 1: What's the other one? I know? You know, I'm dam
- 18:28Speaker 1: give me another talking about you know. I know, because
- 18:31Speaker 1: I ain't got no money. There's hinge plenty of fish, tender,
- 18:37Speaker 1: there's rayah.
- 18:40Speaker 2: That's how I want to get on, riya bitch, get on.
- 18:43Speaker 1: No, they won't let me on. I don't think I
- 18:45Speaker 1: think it's on Riyah. I deleted that app. I got
- 18:48Speaker 1: mad because it's been months the.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Fuck so black people think, oh yeah, black people meet.
- 19:00Speaker 2: So apparently there's this thing called food Digger. This article
- 19:06Speaker 2: says food Digger scam. Beware of new scam on dating
- 19:11Speaker 2: apps like tender Bumble and Hinge.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Y'all.
- 19:14Speaker 2: So apparently the restaurants, the restaurants are using bots and
- 19:20Speaker 2: they're on these dating websites. They are courting women and
- 19:25Speaker 2: men via the app setting up dates. You get to
- 19:30Speaker 2: the restaurant waiting on your date. Your date never shows.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Your mindset is like, well shit, I'm here already, let
- 19:37Speaker 2: me go ahead and eat. The date unfollows you, unmatches
- 19:43Speaker 2: with you on the dating app, and now you're spending
- 19:46Speaker 2: money at least, you know, food and a couple of
- 19:49Speaker 2: drinks because now you're depressed. They need a fucking ass fud.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Listen, and you sitting at the Cheesecake Factor like I
- 19:56Speaker 1: didn't even want to come here, the basket of prowd bread.
- 20:05Speaker 1: That's fucked up. That's real, fucked up people is just
- 20:08Speaker 1: doing anything for money right now, y'all just have to
- 20:11Speaker 1: be careful out here, because when the restaurants is date
- 20:15Speaker 1: fishing you to get you to come in there and
- 20:17Speaker 1: eat is crazy.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Yeah, like what like I would have never ever, like
- 20:23Speaker 2: who the fuck is in their marketing department that thought
- 20:27Speaker 2: about that shit?
- 20:28Speaker 1: Like imagine Red Loss to be a real charming with
- 20:31Speaker 1: you in the app so you can go have cheddar
- 20:34Speaker 1: bag biscuits. It's crazy, Red Loss of Like, so where
- 20:41Speaker 1: are you from? Bro?
- 20:47Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 20:49Speaker 1: That's fucking crazy.
- 20:52Speaker 2: They need their ass what so the restaurants to like say,
- 20:56Speaker 2: for instance, what you like to eat?
- 21:00Speaker 1: So what you like to eat?
- 21:05Speaker 2: But they're not like on the apps as Red Lobster
- 21:08Speaker 2: like they're on the app.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I'm just saying it's really Red Lobster, but it's a person.
- 21:13Speaker 1: It's a buy right. Yep. That's terrible. I really love people.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I really love Red Lobster. We should meet there.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Did you see that video of Red Lobster had like
- 21:26Speaker 2: some maggots.
- 21:27Speaker 1: In the food? Oh no, let's gross.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I like a lot of them too. I
- 21:32Speaker 2: like a lot of maggots. I don't really like eating
- 21:35Speaker 2: out no more. Man, everything the price of everything is
- 21:38Speaker 2: going up and then equality is going down.
- 21:42Speaker 1: But yeah, but in the same breath, the food I
- 21:46Speaker 1: remember when it used to be cheaper to go to
- 21:48Speaker 1: the grocery store than to go out to eat. And
- 21:51Speaker 1: that is the case, y'all.
- 21:53Speaker 2: So did I know everybody pretty much watched Squid Squid Games?
- 21:58Speaker 1: I think what year was that.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Was that the.
- 22:01Speaker 1: It was? It was like right before right when Coach started. Yeah,
- 22:05Speaker 1: twenty twenty maybe twenty twenty one.
- 22:08Speaker 2: H Squid Games came out so right now, and I
- 22:10Speaker 2: saw it when I was scrolling through Netflix the other day.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Now they have a real life.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Challenge, like a real life challenge, Square Games Challenge on
- 22:19Speaker 2: Netflix right now.
- 22:22Speaker 1: You couldn't get me to sign up for that shit,
- 22:24Speaker 1: absolutely not.
- 22:26Speaker 2: And apparently the players want compensation for injuries.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Did y'all not watch the movie, right, y'all? Lucky y'all
- 22:34Speaker 1: ain't dead. Stupid ass took y'all out there and put
- 22:38Speaker 1: on that green Dicky soup. No, it's a sweat, isn't.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Is it green or orange? It's green?
- 22:45Speaker 2: Oh oh yeah, okay, And it says contestants on Netflix
- 22:50Speaker 2: Squid Game the challenge are seeking compensation for alleged injuries,
- 22:54Speaker 2: including hypothermia and nerve damage sustained during filming. Represented by
- 22:59Speaker 2: Express Solicitors, they claimed poor health and safety standards are
- 23:03Speaker 2: on set. The game, based on the South Korean drama
- 23:06Speaker 2: Squid Game, involved players standing still for extended periods and
- 23:11Speaker 2: cold temperatures. Netflix and Studio Lambert, the co producers emphasize
- 23:16Speaker 2: contestants welfare, denying serious injuries. So how are you going
- 23:23Speaker 2: to tell somebody and get fucked up during this game?
- 23:25Speaker 2: I mean, and essentially it is a job, So why
- 23:28Speaker 2: would you not be able to get some type of
- 23:29Speaker 2: workers compensation? But they need to check the contract that
- 23:32Speaker 2: they signed when they signed up for this fucking challenge
- 23:36Speaker 2: where people actually were dying on the movie.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Yeah, how would y'all expect I don't understand you could,
- 23:43Speaker 1: like we're doing a real squid games. Would you like
- 23:45Speaker 1: to sign up? No, niggas die, I'm not playing that game.
- 23:51Speaker 1: I might you would. I can see you right now.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Number four fifty six, Oh yeah, I.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Four five six, I like three six nine?
- 24:05Speaker 1: No you like six ' nine?
- 24:08Speaker 2: I don't like six nine? Actually do you like it?
- 24:10Speaker 1: I don't know's I can't enjoy it.
- 24:12Speaker 2: If I got a word, I like to see my
- 24:17Speaker 2: cuchigain eight. I do not like like why y'all to
- 24:21Speaker 2: do this and that at the same time, like, what
- 24:23Speaker 2: is happening? It's not enjoyable for real, yang, y'all. So
- 24:28Speaker 2: that sence for the week, y'all.
- 24:30Speaker 1: So on Sunday, I was laying in bed and I
- 24:33Speaker 1: was just like I had this pensive spirit. I was melancholy.
- 24:37Speaker 1: I don't even know what to call it. I just
- 24:39Speaker 1: was not feeling my joy yourself at all. It felt
- 24:44Speaker 1: real low. I was feeling mindy bad. I was feeling
- 24:47Speaker 1: real down like Sophia from Colorful. And I was like thinking,
- 24:52Speaker 1: like does it have something to do with the season?
- 24:57Speaker 1: And I know a lot of people are suffering from
- 24:59Speaker 1: seasonal to pre so I wanted us to give into
- 25:02Speaker 1: the conversation of what that is and how we can
- 25:04Speaker 1: cope as black people are all people can use these tools,
- 25:08Speaker 1: but this was specific to black people because I am Black.
- 25:12Speaker 1: So I have seven ways to cope with seasonal depression.
- 25:17Speaker 1: So after this break, we'll get into it. And where
- 25:23Speaker 1: have I.
- 25:25Speaker 2: So, Tam, what exactly is seasonal depression? Do we know
- 25:30Speaker 2: exactly what it is?
- 25:31Speaker 1: All right? So? Seasonal depression, also known as seasonal effective
- 25:36Speaker 1: disorder SAD, is the acronym for it is a mood
- 25:40Speaker 1: disorder characterized by depression that occurs at the same time
- 25:44Speaker 1: every year. Typically it's when during the climate change, when
- 25:50Speaker 1: there's less sunlight. Typically people aren't typically depressed during the summertime.
- 25:55Speaker 1: It's usually when it's colder. And I think for you know,
- 25:59Speaker 1: African Americans, you know, we already have a vitamin D
- 26:02Speaker 1: deficiency because we are we have melanin and it blocks
- 26:08Speaker 1: out the sun more than others. So that vitamin D,
- 26:11Speaker 1: you know, I think it's important for us to add
- 26:14Speaker 1: it to our diet during the winter months because I
- 26:17Speaker 1: think that does help with seasonal depression. I'm not sure though,
- 26:21Speaker 1: but no.
- 26:23Speaker 2: That I mean that makes sense yet because black people
- 26:25Speaker 2: do our son, I mean, excuse me, our son, that
- 26:29Speaker 2: is our son, Okay, it is literally for us, and
- 26:32Speaker 2: that's why. And it winter times, black people may be
- 26:35Speaker 2: a little bit more depressed because you know, we white
- 26:37Speaker 2: people can stand the coal a little bit more than
- 26:40Speaker 2: we can.
- 26:40Speaker 1: It's just a known fact, okay. And so.
- 26:46Speaker 2: I would say, yeah, man, get you a good ass
- 26:48Speaker 2: vitamin D and and add it beef up on it,
- 26:52Speaker 2: because I mean, I feel like, I feel like black
- 26:54Speaker 2: we should already be taking some extra vitamin.
- 26:56Speaker 1: D and not penis. Not penis girls, I know it's
- 27:01Speaker 1: a busual listening. I get vitamin D every night. Not that.
- 27:06Speaker 2: When it's cold outside, No, I feel it. I feel
- 27:12Speaker 2: it because I feel like when it's Yeah, I like
- 27:14Speaker 2: when it's I like the summertime. I like to go
- 27:17Speaker 2: sit out in the grass and just you know, absorb
- 27:19Speaker 2: the sun. And in the winter, I mean the sun
- 27:22Speaker 2: is still out, but it's like cold.
- 27:26Speaker 1: I'm not sitting outside. I'd be feeling like more said,
- 27:31Speaker 1: even like at night. And I think it's because my
- 27:35Speaker 1: bed is empty every night and I reminded that I'm alone. No,
- 27:39Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Do you have sads?
- 27:42Speaker 1: Is that really sad?
- 27:43Speaker 2: Which is the the seasonal depression or is it something else?
- 27:51Speaker 1: Uh? No, it's really it is, because I've read that
- 27:54Speaker 1: it can increase at night during the night time that you're.
- 27:58Speaker 2: If you think about animal like think about beers, they say,
- 28:01Speaker 2: animals who end up having to hibernate by themselves, they
- 28:04Speaker 2: usually die. Like you are supposed to be partnered up,
- 28:07Speaker 2: especially in the winter, especially in the winter months, like
- 28:13Speaker 2: humans just sophisticated animals. So where's your partner, you know,
- 28:16Speaker 2: to help you because hugs safe lives. Rubbing feet on
- 28:20Speaker 2: the nigga feet saved lives.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Right. Why ain't got about that? I don't know, because
- 28:27Speaker 1: I can't just invite somebody to my bed, you know,
- 28:29Speaker 1: and I don't want to just be in someone else's bed.
- 28:33Speaker 1: You know. It has to be right because you fucking
- 28:34Speaker 1: around and have the wrong nigga. Then you be sad
- 28:36Speaker 1: because you rob you know, you know, stole at your house.
- 28:43Speaker 2: It really stole five dollars out your pocketbook while you
- 28:46Speaker 2: had right all that bullshit.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Now you really said, Now you got seasonal depression and
- 28:51Speaker 1: you're missing money? Like that? Ain't cool? TV gone, I
- 28:56Speaker 1: got my I got my eyes set on one person.
- 29:00Speaker 1: But I'm gonna talk about it in my therapy session
- 29:02Speaker 1: because I feel like I be too excited about these
- 29:06Speaker 1: niggas when I like them and they be noticing, like,
- 29:11Speaker 1: is am I thirsty? Is it given? Thirsty? And running
- 29:14Speaker 1: like a nigga off?
- 29:17Speaker 2: Unfortunately, we have to play a game with men. Sometimes
- 29:21Speaker 2: some men will match your energy, but others is like
- 29:25Speaker 2: you have to act like you despise them niggas for
- 29:28Speaker 2: them to fall in love with you. And I just
- 29:30Speaker 2: don't have that type of time. Yeah, I can't have
- 29:33Speaker 2: that type of time. And in a minute, you stop
- 29:34Speaker 2: answering the phone or a minute, you stop responding immediately,
- 29:37Speaker 2: then they start ramping up on you. Those are niggas
- 29:40Speaker 2: you gotta stay away from because see they they got
- 29:43Speaker 2: mental issues. Now they trying to love bomb you and
- 29:45Speaker 2: shit when you've removed your energy from them.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Should I feel a way if I'm having a text
- 29:51Speaker 1: conversation with someone and they just stop responding abruptly, Yes.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Nobody does that to somebody they like they want to
- 29:58Speaker 2: make sure you know these times.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Just come back when like a day later, finishing the conversation.
- 30:05Speaker 1: That's wow.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Well, if you in the stages are trying to get
- 30:08Speaker 2: to know somebody like via text is never the way anyway,
- 30:11Speaker 2: Like why we're not on the phone, because once you're
- 30:13Speaker 2: don't talk for like thirty minutes an hour. I really
- 30:14Speaker 2: don't need to be texting no more for the day.
- 30:17Speaker 2: I've already gotten out everything I need to say to
- 30:18Speaker 2: you on the phone. Call men who like the text,
- 30:22Speaker 2: women who like the text they have they don't like conversation.
- 30:25Speaker 2: I like to converse me too.
- 30:27Speaker 1: I like to be on the phone, So no, don't
- 30:30Speaker 1: fucking start a conversation with me via text. And then
- 30:33Speaker 1: as I'm responding. You just stop responding. That's so rude.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Because it might be flying, driving, all type of shit
- 30:41Speaker 2: be going on. That's what I'm saying, And just call
- 30:43Speaker 2: and have a conversation right quick when you get a moment,
- 30:45Speaker 2: then that way it won't be no text balls dropped.
- 30:49Speaker 1: All right, So let me get into this list, you guys.
- 30:51Speaker 1: The first way, there's a therapist named Harris, and this
- 30:55Speaker 1: is from isy inlive dot com. And the first thing
- 30:59Speaker 1: for you to do, it's feel your feelings. So Harris
- 31:02Speaker 1: suggests spending intentional time to acknowledge and assess your feelings,
- 31:06Speaker 1: but don't wallow in them. Black women don't often give
- 31:09Speaker 1: themselves permission to feel tender emotions because they are often
- 31:13Speaker 1: encouraged to be strong. Share your feelings, whether it be
- 31:16Speaker 1: with friends and family or therapists. Make sure that you
- 31:19Speaker 1: aren't suffering in silence. Now that's a lot of people. Yeah,
- 31:24Speaker 1: people don't even know how to identify what they feel,
- 31:26Speaker 1: and they just walk around feeling miserable and not saying shit.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Because we've been talking to cope with everything.
- 31:35Speaker 2: And that's why I put on I mean, we are
- 31:37Speaker 2: not licensed therapists, but I think I give pretty good advice,
- 31:40Speaker 2: and I'm definitely a good listening heir. That's why I
- 31:45Speaker 2: put on the story, Like, if anybody want to chat,
- 31:47Speaker 2: this is what we're talking about.
- 31:48Speaker 1: If anybody need.
- 31:49Speaker 2: To talk, just to get people out, like because people
- 31:51Speaker 2: DMUs stuff all the time. But maybe they didn't see
- 31:53Speaker 2: the story so they can could have could have called
- 31:58Speaker 2: in and had a conversation right us.
- 32:00Speaker 1: How you feeling shit? How you getting through sads right now?
- 32:05Speaker 1: I don't think it's no ass on it. How you
- 32:08Speaker 1: getting through sad right now? Yoh yeah. So then the
- 32:14Speaker 1: list goes on to say what we already said, reach
- 32:16Speaker 1: for your vitamin D. Y'all. Guys, they have h one
- 32:19Speaker 1: called Black Girl Vitamin D. Y'all should check that one out, Uh,
- 32:22Speaker 1: specific to your black body, created by other black women.
- 32:26Speaker 1: So try that. But we're gonna move on from that one.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Move your body, so this is an important one.
- 32:32Speaker 2: I think that's why I got sad right now. I
- 32:36Speaker 2: am not moving my fucking body.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Physical activities such as exercise has shown the decreased symptoms
- 32:44Speaker 1: of depression. Exercise benefits your brain by increasing memory, relieving stress,
- 32:49Speaker 1: and improving your sleep, all things that can be beneficial
- 32:52Speaker 1: to improving your daily function. So y'all get y'all ass
- 32:55Speaker 1: up and go to that gym. You got in the
- 32:57Speaker 1: gym in your apartment complex. But you don't have no
- 33:00Speaker 1: not to take your ass over there. Yo, it's a
- 33:05Speaker 1: bitch listening. Damn, she's talking to me. I do gotta
- 33:07Speaker 1: give me this month.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Even if you just got some ten pounds weights, just
- 33:13Speaker 2: do some of her calisthetics.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna do a workout today.
- 33:17Speaker 2: I like work out today.
- 33:18Speaker 1: I went back to spend. I had took like literally
- 33:20Speaker 1: a month off again half of my way back just
- 33:24Speaker 1: in a month. So I went back and I really
- 33:28Speaker 1: enjoyed it. I did twelve miles on that bike, and
- 33:29Speaker 1: that night I did sleep a lot more peacefully than
- 33:33Speaker 1: the other nights. So gotta get yourself physically active.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Or if you got a man, If you got a man,
- 33:41Speaker 2: stop being a pillow princess and ride that dick.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Okay, get some cardio in.
- 33:45Speaker 2: I literally wear my fitbit when I'm riding dick, okay,
- 33:49Speaker 2: because I like to count calories. I like to see
- 33:51Speaker 2: how many calories I've burned, and you can actually burn
- 33:53Speaker 2: a lot of calories having sex.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Oh my god, I was what that? But you're right,
- 33:59Speaker 1: You're absolutely right if you go. But they need.
- 34:05Speaker 2: You know how you can select your exercise. They need
- 34:07Speaker 2: to add sex to it. Why sex in on there?
- 34:10Speaker 2: I gotta just indoor physical activity.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Because how you're gonna like decide like a bitch a
- 34:17Speaker 1: lay on her back and say, yeah, I burned seven
- 34:20Speaker 1: hand the calories. That's why I said, ride dick.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Okay, you gotta get up and ride it.
- 34:25Speaker 1: You can't imagine your app have it ride dick as
- 34:28Speaker 1: an option. Imagine it. It's just sex.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Just put sex.
- 34:33Speaker 1: But sex isn't always exercise.
- 34:36Speaker 2: It is even with laying on your back, like the breathing,
- 34:38Speaker 2: all of that causes you to burn calories, even if
- 34:41Speaker 2: you know are not the one.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Actually, I know some bitches they burned not a liquor
- 34:45Speaker 1: calorie laying there getting humped by a nigga breathing in
- 34:47Speaker 1: the face. Get off, Get off, all right? So it says,
- 35:03Speaker 1: take advantage of natural light. Avoid me up and open
- 35:07Speaker 1: the windows, y'all. Yeah, open your blinds. Avoid being cooped
- 35:11Speaker 1: up in doors all day. If you can do your
- 35:13Speaker 1: best to go out as much as you can during
- 35:15Speaker 1: the daylight hours, A quick walk around the block may help.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Elevate your mood, clear your mind, and give extra bit
- 35:21Speaker 1: of energy. Many of us are home more than ever before,
- 35:25Speaker 1: so to decrease the likelihood of cabin fever, make sure
- 35:28Speaker 1: to step outside, even if it's for five to ten minutes.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Yeah, so even if it's coal outside, like, just go out.
- 35:34Speaker 2: The sun is still out right, So like twelve o'clock
- 35:38Speaker 2: is when the sun is the hottest. Usually between like
- 35:41Speaker 2: twelve and three right now, because it is getting dark
- 35:44Speaker 2: at five forty five, yeah, I know, yeah, maybe even
- 35:48Speaker 2: even earlier than that, ten between ten and two. Go outside,
- 35:52Speaker 2: can't you get?
- 35:52Speaker 1: Like I've seen where people had like artificial sun lamps
- 35:57Speaker 1: that's not the UV, like, yeah, to get put it
- 36:00Speaker 1: in your room and just lay up under it.
- 36:02Speaker 2: I remember, I have a skin disease called pity yourized rosia.
- 36:07Speaker 1: It don't bother me anymore.
- 36:08Speaker 2: When I stopped being chicken, I don't have the issues
- 36:10Speaker 2: no more. But I used to go to the tanning bed,
- 36:13Speaker 2: and that shit gave me hives. Tanning bed, yes, so
- 36:17Speaker 2: I'm allergic to.
- 36:18Speaker 1: That fake light. So what you was doing there, I
- 36:24Speaker 1: was in the tanning bed.
- 36:25Speaker 2: That's all I did is went there with a bathing
- 36:27Speaker 2: suit on and for what turn the tanner bed on.
- 36:31Speaker 2: It helps your skin, It helps the skin heel.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Oh from the sick Yeah that's yeah, but it wasn't
- 36:39Speaker 1: helping me.
- 36:40Speaker 2: That shit gave me fucking hives on top of the
- 36:43Speaker 2: other skin is shoe I got.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Now I'm fucking itching from UV allergy. I guess you
- 36:51Speaker 1: couldn't get me to get my whole body under their
- 36:53Speaker 1: fingernail light A light for your whole I would like
- 37:01Speaker 1: sticking my hands in that motherfucking thing.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Oh, the sauna, even if you know, even if you
- 37:06Speaker 2: don't work out, go to the sauna, just like that's
- 37:08Speaker 2: the heat, the steam and all that. That should make
- 37:12Speaker 2: you feel good too. A you do burn calories in
- 37:14Speaker 2: the sauna. Yeah, so it's like a little tiny little
- 37:17Speaker 2: workout and it might make you feel better too, sleep
- 37:19Speaker 2: better for sure.
- 37:20Speaker 1: I love the song, dude.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Yeah, so do like thirty minutes in the sauna if
- 37:24Speaker 2: you can. You might have to step out and breathe
- 37:25Speaker 2: a little bit and come back.
- 37:27Speaker 1: The problem with the sauna is Black women we have
- 37:30Speaker 1: like this relationship with our hair in exercise that just
- 37:33Speaker 1: has been like unhealthy. Man.
- 37:37Speaker 2: I don't think they just give a fuck no more.
- 37:38Speaker 2: Everybody won't look fine now man, y'all.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Care about hair?
- 37:42Speaker 2: Y'all still care about y'all hair. I do y'all snatches
- 37:46Speaker 2: fucking wig off, man, because you got them a wig.
- 37:49Speaker 1: But if you got clippings and you got like a
- 37:51Speaker 1: silk press, it's like fucked up. Now. I'm getting some
- 37:55Speaker 1: brace today. I'm getting some brace today for that very reason,
- 37:58Speaker 1: because I want to lose at least ten pounds before
- 38:01Speaker 1: the new year, if possible, before the new year. So
- 38:05Speaker 1: we'll see, all right, next one, write it out. Harris
- 38:10Speaker 1: suggests taking inventory of your thoughts and emotions by journaling,
- 38:14Speaker 1: recognize your triggers, and possibly log in the time of
- 38:17Speaker 1: day in which you experience a decline and mood and energy.
- 38:20Speaker 1: This way you can be proactive and self care and mindset.
- 38:24Speaker 1: I gotta get better at it. Writing down.
- 38:26Speaker 2: I know your ass, write down every fucking thing, y'all.
- 38:28Speaker 2: When we first started this podcast, this bitch ain't have
- 38:30Speaker 2: no computer, y'all.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Tammy letter used to be like, hold on, let me
- 38:34Speaker 1: go get I had an iPad.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Let me go get my computer. It'll be the notepad.
- 38:38Speaker 2: She gotta run to the car again.
- 38:43Speaker 1: I write it down. I still I prefer it instead.
- 38:46Speaker 2: That's a good practice. That's a good practice because when
- 38:49Speaker 2: I write, my hand hurts. It's like it's an exercise
- 38:52Speaker 2: for me. God damn.
- 38:53Speaker 1: But you starting good then to get bad, y'all. I
- 38:56Speaker 1: see she sent me a video on her jacking off,
- 38:59Speaker 1: and she's a jackar master and never risks be working.
- 39:01Speaker 1: But now you can't write?
- 39:02Speaker 2: What what are you talking to somebody else on his life?
- 39:12Speaker 2: Listen for the record, I never said this bitch send
- 39:14Speaker 2: her nothing.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Nah.
- 39:16Speaker 2: I've seen her doing some ship, but she ain't never
- 39:18Speaker 2: seen me doing nothing.
- 39:20Speaker 1: I have, lie, black girl. We you see remember you.
- 39:26Speaker 1: I ain't gonna say it, but you first of all,
- 39:31Speaker 1: I see you do some things. Lie. Oh you forgot
- 39:39Speaker 1: see how forget? I remember? But now you can't write?
- 39:47Speaker 1: Get your pay and paper.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Yeah, niggas women do this type of ship too, right,
- 39:54Speaker 2: y'all think y'all are only trifling ones out here?
- 40:00Speaker 1: Get trifling too. I'm not trifling. I just I didn't.
- 40:04Speaker 1: I clicked on the face time. It was like, but
- 40:09Speaker 1: I need you're returned? All right? The last the next
- 40:16Speaker 1: one is set a realistic sleep schedule. Y'all. Stop scrolling
- 40:21Speaker 1: all night and take your ass to beg why is
- 40:25Speaker 1: this talking to me? Because it's you. I'm looking directly
- 40:29Speaker 1: at you saying that, because I be getting memes and
- 40:32Speaker 1: videos from this bit two thirty in the morning of
- 40:35Speaker 1: a fat lady shaking her ass during the water dance
- 40:39Speaker 1: and talking about this. You girl? Fuck you going to sleep?
- 40:44Speaker 1: Make me hall up in LA with this big old
- 40:49Speaker 1: bookie huge as fuck? Is she talking about this? You girl?
- 40:54Speaker 1: Go to sleep? I need to go to sleep.
- 40:56Speaker 2: I literally have Instagram set for two hours a day
- 41:00Speaker 2: that I always be taking the timer off.
- 41:03Speaker 1: You might as well just cut that shit off.
- 41:05Speaker 2: I have my sleep timer. When my phone goes on
- 41:08Speaker 2: D and D at nine forty five, I be turning
- 41:11Speaker 2: that off. And then I just stay up till one
- 41:14Speaker 2: or two o'clock in the morning. And shit is fucking ridiculous.
- 41:16Speaker 2: And it's a known fact. It's a scientific fact that
- 41:20Speaker 2: women need more sleep than men. So I gotta find
- 41:25Speaker 2: a way to get some rest. Man, I never get
- 41:28Speaker 2: first of all, and then when I do, like leave
- 41:30Speaker 2: everything off, it just so takes me a long time
- 41:32Speaker 2: to actually fall asleep.
- 41:34Speaker 1: And I don't want to do no melotone and none
- 41:36Speaker 1: of that shit. Weed weed helps. Yeah, that's why you
- 41:40Speaker 1: be going to sleep. Yeah, for sure. I love my
- 41:43Speaker 1: little weed and the edibles going crazy. I last night
- 41:48Speaker 1: I put on andre three thousands albums.
- 41:52Speaker 2: I listen to sounds every night.
- 41:53Speaker 1: It don't matter every night. Let me tell you what
- 41:56Speaker 1: you need to try. Try brown noise, y'all, if you're
- 41:59Speaker 1: not at night, go on YouTube and put in brown
- 42:03Speaker 1: noise and it just sounds like it's not white noise,
- 42:07Speaker 1: like the one from the TV is brown. I don't
- 42:10Speaker 1: know what the difference is, but it works. It helped
- 42:14Speaker 1: me fall asleep. And I even have an app.
- 42:17Speaker 2: I have an app I paid eighty four ninety nine
- 42:19Speaker 2: a year for. It's called Sinctuition, and that helps. But
- 42:24Speaker 2: you know, I have a new I've been using the
- 42:28Speaker 2: Beats headphones and them should be doing something in my ear,
- 42:31Speaker 2: so I'll be wanting to fall asleep with them in
- 42:35Speaker 2: my brain.
- 42:36Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 42:36Speaker 2: But I used to when I need to give me
- 42:38Speaker 2: another set of wired headphones, because with the wired headphones,
- 42:40Speaker 2: I would plug it in and just listen to sc tuition.
- 42:44Speaker 2: I'll be out of there.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Just don't even use headphones, just put on put it on.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Yeah, sometimes I do speak mm hmm, yeah.
- 42:54Speaker 1: So yeah, we gotta have better us. Yeah, me too, scrolling.
- 42:59Speaker 1: Don't let me get on ticks talk. I'll be watching
- 43:01Speaker 1: bitches cook, watching how to fold. I do not know
- 43:05Speaker 1: how to fold a finish sheet. Still, do y'all know
- 43:10Speaker 1: how to really fold the finish sheet I just put?
- 43:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I can fool it.
- 43:16Speaker 1: But it's so it's not gonna look as neat as
- 43:18Speaker 1: a top sheet. It don't never look good. My shit
- 43:21Speaker 1: be like in a neat little ball in the club.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Stupid y'all. If y'all know how to fold the fish sheet,
- 43:30Speaker 1: please send me a video because I can't do that
- 43:32Speaker 1: shit and be pissing me off. All right. The last
- 43:35Speaker 1: one is choose joy. So you need to find happiness
- 43:39Speaker 1: by any means necessary. Everything isn't all sad and dying
- 43:44Speaker 1: during this time. Be intentional and finding things that you
- 43:47Speaker 1: do enjoy about this time. Is it snuggling under warm blankets?
- 43:50Speaker 1: Is it pump pumpkin spiced lattes? Is it fall? Is
- 43:54Speaker 1: it holiday? Decre Like? Whatever you delight in, do more
- 43:58Speaker 1: of that. So you have to choose to be happy,
- 44:01Speaker 1: and I mean just try to. But what if you
- 44:04Speaker 1: like to eat well, then eat, but in moderation eat
- 44:08Speaker 1: find good things to eat, find healthier ways to enjoy food.
- 44:12Speaker 2: I have started eating olives like a lot. Well, I
- 44:15Speaker 2: like all of Yeah, I never knew I like them.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Do you like dirty martinis? No? I love. Oh you
- 44:22Speaker 1: gotta try it if you like all. Well, now, but
- 44:25Speaker 1: that's vodka, right mm hmm, Well you don't have to
- 44:29Speaker 1: have you can get it made. Yeah, you can get
- 44:31Speaker 1: it made different. It doesn't have to be vodka. But
- 44:33Speaker 1: I'll give me a nice little kettle warmart dirty martini extra.
- 44:37Speaker 1: I like my extra dirty, making extra dirty stir with food,
- 44:44Speaker 1: and you can get the blue cheese olives with it.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Oh, girl, girl, listen, I'd be going to Whole Foods
- 44:50Speaker 2: to getting them alives. You know how expensive that fucking
- 44:52Speaker 2: bar is. Yeah, that those blue cheese. They have a
- 44:56Speaker 2: ranch one too.
- 44:57Speaker 1: Oh that sound good?
- 44:59Speaker 2: Why is this happening? But yes, I never knew all
- 45:01Speaker 2: of this was that good.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Olives is a good snack. Damn. I mean they hire
- 45:06Speaker 1: in sodium though, so you gotta be careful.
- 45:08Speaker 2: But I know so I did one of those little
- 45:11Speaker 2: things with like maybe about fifteen of them in there.
- 45:14Speaker 1: That's five dollars. Yeah, that's expensive, and I'll eat that
- 45:17Speaker 1: whole shit. But fifteen hours ain't bad. You know that's
- 45:24Speaker 1: not bad versus fifteen cookies.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Or I ain't never eat no fifteen cookies. Bit you're
- 45:29Speaker 2: running out.
- 45:31Speaker 1: I'm saying you, I'll easily run through a sleeve of
- 45:34Speaker 1: oreoles chilling on the couch.
- 45:36Speaker 2: I don't eat orioles no more ever since I've seen
- 45:38Speaker 2: his TikTok video. Well, actually I hadn't been eating them
- 45:41Speaker 2: before then because they just don't taste the same anymore
- 45:43Speaker 2: to me. But they have some I'm singing the video.
- 45:49Speaker 2: They were pointing out how the orioles have these sadist
- 45:55Speaker 2: symbols on them.
- 45:58Speaker 1: You said, what's true? Oreosy, you know how to ruin
- 46:05Speaker 1: a good snack for me? I'm helping. Look, you know yours.
- 46:11Speaker 1: You know your oreos got the devil in them, like
- 46:13Speaker 1: we knows evil.
- 46:18Speaker 2: God, Damn, Listen, everything is not what we think.
- 46:25Speaker 1: That's just it.
- 46:26Speaker 2: And I feel like a lot of the veil has
- 46:28Speaker 2: been lifted, so a lot of people noticing shit that
- 46:30Speaker 2: they didn't notice before. That's it.
- 46:33Speaker 1: You could have just kept that one and let me
- 46:35Speaker 1: just have my oreos. So like sometimes ignorance. Ignorance can
- 46:39Speaker 1: be blissed.
- 46:40Speaker 2: Let me see what else I can ruin for you,
- 46:42Speaker 2: because you can lose them ten pounds by New Year's No, girls.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Shout the fuck up. We about to go to commercial.
- 46:49Speaker 1: We'll be right back, y'all.
- 46:55Speaker 2: So we have a Somebody commented on the post. It
- 46:58Speaker 2: says it's coming. I'm getting sick of myself that that
- 47:01Speaker 2: New Year New meat stigmas engraved in my mind. I'm
- 47:04Speaker 2: working on being okay in the now. Stop over planning, overthinking,
- 47:08Speaker 2: and overly growing. I'm not a I'm not a GMO plant,
- 47:12Speaker 2: So why am I forcing myself to be one? Thanks
- 47:15Speaker 2: for listening.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Who said that?
- 47:21Speaker 2: It's me Auntie Energy I n n e er.
- 47:24Speaker 1: I like, hey, hey Auntie, I oh, I agree. Stop
- 47:30Speaker 1: We don't pat ourselves on the back and of for
- 47:32Speaker 1: what we already doing. Yeah, sometimes y'all beat yourself up
- 47:35Speaker 1: for not getting nothing done. Sometimes it's okay to just
- 47:40Speaker 1: not do shit. You know you do already do so much.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Just not do shit sometimes, and don't beat yourself up
- 47:47Speaker 1: about it. Shit fucking clothes, they'll get folded.
- 47:53Speaker 2: No, no, no, no. See, that's the thing that we
- 47:56Speaker 2: can't do. You can't let your space get messy, because
- 48:01Speaker 2: that's how your mind then starts to feel.
- 48:03Speaker 1: If you go one day without folding some clothes, you'll
- 48:06Speaker 1: be it ain't gonna it, ain't there bad.
- 48:08Speaker 2: But if you depressed, one day turns into two, two
- 48:10Speaker 2: days turns into three. I think you remember that movie
- 48:15Speaker 2: where a guy took the pill and he got like
- 48:17Speaker 2: real smart.
- 48:18Speaker 1: The first thing he did was clean up his home. Yes, exactly.
- 48:21Speaker 2: You got to keep the house clean, no matter what,
- 48:24Speaker 2: No matter what, y'all keep your house clean.
- 48:26Speaker 1: No, I disagree. If you need a break, break bitch,
- 48:31Speaker 1: whenever it is clean or not clean. If you need
- 48:33Speaker 1: a break, if you're tired, you just don't feel like it,
- 48:35Speaker 1: don't fucking do it till you can't, till you can't.
- 48:39Speaker 2: When a person is depressed, you're saying and telling them
- 48:41Speaker 2: to do some shit when they can you might. I
- 48:45Speaker 2: didn't say, God, force yourself to keep the space clean
- 48:47Speaker 2: at least man.
- 48:48Speaker 1: No, we're talking about we're talking about what Auntie said,
- 48:52Speaker 1: and she said, you know, giving herself to she don't
- 48:56Speaker 1: have to grow so fast out growing and doing no.
- 48:59Speaker 2: But she was more so talking about, you know, thinking
- 49:02Speaker 2: about the next year and resolutions and things you gotta
- 49:04Speaker 2: do like that. Stuff can't cause you anxiety thinking about
- 49:07Speaker 2: the future oftentimes, so live in the now. What I'm
- 49:10Speaker 2: saying is in order to even plan or do anything,
- 49:12Speaker 2: you got to keep a clean space.
- 49:14Speaker 1: You just you have to. I agree to me. But
- 49:16Speaker 1: if you want to take a break, take it.
- 49:19Speaker 2: Nobody's saying not take a break, Tommy. Of course, that's
- 49:22Speaker 2: all I wanted two days, but that turns into a
- 49:24Speaker 2: week for some people.
- 49:26Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying is if you need a break,
- 49:27Speaker 1: take it. That's all I'm saying.
- 49:29Speaker 2: Yeah, that could turn into a whole two weeks of
- 49:34Speaker 2: ship on your floor, stuff in the closet, all and disarray,
- 49:37Speaker 2: your kitchen ain't clean day or two. That's that's become
- 49:43Speaker 2: a thing on social media. These I call them hoiters
- 49:45Speaker 2: because that's what the house looks like. House girl. Listen,
- 49:51Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 49:52Speaker 1: Hoiter. That's not It's a hoiter, that's what it is.
- 49:57Speaker 1: It's a hoarder. Hoiter.
- 50:00Speaker 2: That's my dialect. Okay, I know how to spell hoiter.
- 50:03Speaker 2: This is how it's This is how I'm going to
- 50:05Speaker 2: pronounce it. I say a lot of words. You say
- 50:08Speaker 2: a lot of words that may not be correct and
- 50:12Speaker 2: because of a dialect. Okay, so the hoiters, okay, you British.
- 50:23Speaker 2: They have these videos. Now these women are like the
- 50:26Speaker 2: cars are nasty, the houses are nasty, and they like
- 50:28Speaker 2: they post the videos cleaning it like did you make
- 50:32Speaker 2: your shit get that nasty so you can make a
- 50:34Speaker 2: video like content cleaning it up.
- 50:36Speaker 1: I follow this one black lady. She is actually a therapist,
- 50:39Speaker 1: and her home got really, really really out of control
- 50:44Speaker 1: because she was depressed, and she posted making videos to
- 50:48Speaker 1: her like getting rid of all the clutter and the
- 50:51Speaker 1: nasty because it was a lot of nasty going on,
- 50:54Speaker 1: and people were in the videos judging all the perfect
- 50:57Speaker 1: people judging her life, and she was like, you know,
- 51:02Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm not perfect, Like y'all, I went through
- 51:04Speaker 1: a rough patch. This is me getting out of it.
- 51:08Speaker 1: And then a lot of people aligned with her, like,
- 51:10Speaker 1: you know, I applaud you for showing your reality to us.
- 51:14Speaker 1: So everybody got their own shit. But I'm not saying
- 51:20Speaker 1: let your house go. I'm just saying, if you need
- 51:22Speaker 1: to take a day to not, take a day to
- 51:25Speaker 1: not there's nothing wrong with that. Either. Some people got
- 51:30Speaker 1: their hand, they played soul full, they juggling, They single mothers,
- 51:33Speaker 1: they juggling kids, job, sick parents, all these things. And
- 51:38Speaker 1: then they come home and they see a polo clothes,
- 51:40Speaker 1: clean clothes on the bed, fucking clothes for a night.
- 51:43Speaker 1: It's okay, No, you're not gonna die if the clothes
- 51:47Speaker 1: don't get folded tonight. Give yourself some grace. You're already
- 51:52Speaker 1: a superhero. Shit fuck it for one day. Yeah, ok,
- 52:05Speaker 1: Hold on horders, hoarders, hoiters, No hoarders, hoarders, hoarders not no,
- 52:21Speaker 1: not no hoiters.
- 52:22Speaker 2: So it's a hoiter? What what out the extra land
- 52:25Speaker 2: at my bust?
- 52:26Speaker 1: Hoarders not hoiters, hods hoarders hoarders. You're saying hoiters is hoarders?
- 52:37Speaker 1: What it's the same thing, It's not. It's not.
- 52:42Speaker 2: Bitch's god damn aionaires hoiters hoarders.
- 52:48Speaker 1: What's one?
- 52:48Speaker 2: Y'all like betting You're like, you're like hoarders whore because
- 52:53Speaker 2: see that's the that's the part she likes.
- 52:55Speaker 3: She's like, that's what you deflect from. I don't like
- 53:02Speaker 3: out like that that you're a hoarder.
- 53:07Speaker 2: You aarder and you're a hoarder.
- 53:10Speaker 1: Yeah, No, I am a hoarder of clothing.
- 53:16Speaker 2: No, I'm a hoarder of hair products and mail.
- 53:21Speaker 1: Mail. Yes, oh that ship out never make it in
- 53:27Speaker 1: my house, especially the bills. I ain't opening that fuck that.
- 53:31Speaker 1: That should be a short in the car. That should
- 53:34Speaker 1: be going to the trash at the mailbox.
- 53:37Speaker 2: Like, bitch, I know what I need to pay. Why
- 53:39Speaker 2: are y'all talking to me?
- 53:40Speaker 1: Why are y'all sending me a paper mail? Y'all are
- 53:42Speaker 1: wasting paper where you you don't give a fuck about
- 53:44Speaker 1: the environment.
- 53:45Speaker 2: That'd be the final notices you're getting mail. Now that
- 53:49Speaker 2: email you fifty eleven times, that's the final notice.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Mail neck can go to hell. That's all I'm saying.
- 53:59Speaker 1: Pray you boys, nothing give you reggedly motherfuck is nothing.
- 54:03Speaker 1: Now I'm joking, I'm gonna pay my student loans. I

- 55:16Speaker 2: Girl, if you a single parent, go drop them damn
- 55:18Speaker 2: kids off to the gam granny house. Okay, once they're
- 55:21Speaker 2: on the porch, they ain't gonna do nothing.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Just don't leave them somewhere. Now, fuck them kids. We
- 55:27Speaker 1: talk bad time. She got to No, make sure it's
- 55:31Speaker 1: safe though. I mean, you can drop them off the grandma,
- 55:34Speaker 1: but don't be dropping them off the grandma and grandma
- 55:36Speaker 1: don't know. That's fucked up. I just see the video
- 55:40Speaker 1: of that where they girl want to leave her kids
- 55:42Speaker 1: with her grandma. She just wanted with her mama because
- 55:45Speaker 1: she want to be free. Man, that postpartum depression is real.
- 55:52Speaker 2: It might even get any even worse during the summertime,
- 55:54Speaker 2: during the winter sorter, when you don't have support. Yeah,
- 55:57Speaker 2: sometimes like that's the best thing to do us as
- 56:00Speaker 2: oppose to killing the ass, because women be killing their
- 56:03Speaker 2: kids out here because they're overwhelmed. They don't have any support,
- 56:06Speaker 2: they don't have any help. So if I got to
- 56:07Speaker 2: drop them, if you got to drop me, because i mean, listen,
- 56:11Speaker 2: I'm about to have a baby by my goddamn self.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Because if a nigga leave you better take your kid

- 56:27Speaker 2: If a nigga thinks he's about to leave me with
- 56:29Speaker 2: a kid, you're sadly mistaken, my nigga. This baby started
- 56:35Speaker 2: in you, this baby came out of you first, and
- 56:38Speaker 2: you think you're just gonna leave the seed in me
- 56:43Speaker 2: and walk away, go with your daddy. What I'm gonna
- 56:46Speaker 2: do with two more keys?
- 56:48Speaker 1: What I'm do with keys?
- 56:49Speaker 2: You should have thought about that before you got pregnant. Nigga.
- 56:56Speaker 2: I should have thought about that shit. I remember one
- 56:58Speaker 2: of my homegirls. Man, we used to work at the
- 57:01Speaker 2: same job and she had a baby, young girl, she
- 57:03Speaker 2: was younger than me, and she had the baby. She
- 57:06Speaker 2: kept missing work. I'm like, listen, you gotta lose your job.
- 57:08Speaker 2: Your baby daddy don't work nowhere, his mom doesn't work anywhere.
- 57:11Speaker 2: If you won't drop that baby off on the porch
- 57:13Speaker 2: and call him from the car, she ended up losing
- 57:17Speaker 2: her job. Damn you had you have child care. You
- 57:21Speaker 2: shouldn't be trying to figure out how you're gonna work
- 57:24Speaker 2: and take care of your kid and watch your kid.
- 57:26Speaker 2: When you have you have support. Sometimes you just have
