- 0:04Speaker 1: Here we are off the edge with your host Cam Jordan.
- 0:07Speaker 2: I'm excited because I gotta talk to one of my
- 0:10Speaker 2: one of my young legends.
- 0:12Speaker 1: When I was young, he was a.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Legend as well as you know, had some time to
- 0:15Speaker 2: play at the same time, as well as a man
- 0:18Speaker 2: who used to call yours on the home found out
- 0:20Speaker 2: it's no longer home for but it's fine. I still
- 0:22Speaker 2: do a Vikings for sure, a legend, a man who
- 0:26Speaker 2: played with kans City Chiefs.
- 0:28Speaker 1: And finished with the Panthers.
- 0:29Speaker 2: We'll talk about it. Don't forget the stint with Chicago
- 0:32Speaker 2: as well.
- 0:33Speaker 3: We're trying to forget that.
- 0:36Speaker 1: My guy, Jared Allen, big dog, how are you feeling?
- 0:39Speaker 2: I mean, we could also add to all pros the
- 0:41Speaker 2: Pro Bowls, you know, one hundred and thirty six sacks,
- 0:46Speaker 2: five time Pro bowler, you know.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm good, man, I'm good.
- 0:49Speaker 4: Just enjoying, enjoying the retired life now, I tell you what,
- 0:53Speaker 4: you blinking it And I can't believe I've been done
- 0:55Speaker 4: for almost nine ten years now and it's uh, it's
- 0:58Speaker 4: a crazy thing.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Mm you're still playing. I'll say it sounds good though.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Oh, it's amazing. I love it. I love it.
- 1:06Speaker 4: I saw you, I saw you on do some NFL
- 1:10Speaker 4: thing the other day, and I was just you know,
- 1:12Speaker 4: they said fourteen years, and I think it's because I
- 1:15Speaker 4: have I know your dad so well right then, I
- 1:18Speaker 4: just make sure you was younger and not really like
- 1:20Speaker 4: like you know, I'm like fourteen years. There's definitely long
- 1:24Speaker 4: in the tooth.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Now we're still doing it. I mean, come on your
- 1:28Speaker 1: eighties baby. How many eighties baby? We had some, you know,
- 1:32Speaker 1: we had some go through.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Absolutely, absolutely, it's good to see you out.
- 1:35Speaker 4: They're still getting after people, man, and so especially because
- 1:38Speaker 4: in this modern day, like you know, what everything's like
- 1:42Speaker 4: seems to be like a specific position. Everybody's got this
- 1:45Speaker 4: like oh he's a pastors or he's a run They're
- 1:48Speaker 4: always constantly moving.
- 1:49Speaker 3: So to see a four down d N still crushing and.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Lost, yeah, you know, bring the hands to work and
- 1:54Speaker 2: bring them every day, you know, like I still enjoy
- 1:57Speaker 2: choking a good office of lineman out and thank you.
- 2:01Speaker 4: I was telling something the other day, this is that
- 2:02Speaker 4: hands of the face rule where you can't go to
- 2:04Speaker 4: hands the face office. You want to get my hands
- 2:06Speaker 4: on my face, go for it, because I'm going right
- 2:07Speaker 4: back to you, no doubt, right, So you know what,
- 2:11Speaker 4: it's getting a little soft in there, and.
- 2:12Speaker 2: The triple a little now that the referees are stuck
- 2:16Speaker 2: behind the office of line so all that they don't
- 2:18Speaker 2: even see it hands on the face.
- 2:19Speaker 1: They just see net movement. I'm like, come on, don't
- 2:23Speaker 1: do this. You know they're fat and mel athletic. Anyways, Off,
- 2:25Speaker 1: it's a lineman like that's they don't have a neck
- 2:27Speaker 1: to push back. Anyways, what are we talking about?
- 2:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm with you, but I guess I want to
- 2:34Speaker 2: go roll it right into my first question because I
- 2:35Speaker 2: don't even know if I know the answer to this.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Why did you have the number sixty nine? Like as
- 2:39Speaker 2: a kid, we laughed at it all the time, but
- 2:42Speaker 2: you know, no, so dude, no joke.
- 2:44Speaker 3: So I was number forty one.
- 2:45Speaker 4: So I was number one in high school, right, and
- 2:47Speaker 4: my best friend was forty five, I bet when my
- 2:49Speaker 4: best friends passed away in high school. So I was
- 2:50Speaker 4: gonna get forty five going to college for him, And
- 2:54Speaker 4: for some reason they wanted to merge the two and
- 2:56Speaker 4: they gave me forty one in college. So I kept
- 2:58Speaker 4: it right, cool whatever, but back and then you know
- 3:02Speaker 4: when I came to the league. You had to have
- 3:03Speaker 4: certain there was you know, each position could only be
- 3:05Speaker 4: a certain number set right, and I'll pick They gave
- 3:08Speaker 4: me sixty nine, right, And there was another you know
- 3:11Speaker 4: between a fat out of a lot of those fat
- 3:12Speaker 4: out of the alignment that number six and nine two.
- 3:14Speaker 4: I'm like, GEESEU, this doesn't farewell one of.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Us, can't. You know, one of us is making the team.
- 3:19Speaker 4: So anyways, I get through I get through camp obviously,
- 3:22Speaker 4: you know, make the team, no problem.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Uh.
- 3:25Speaker 3: And they asked me if I wanted to change it
- 3:26Speaker 3: in my d line coach Bob carmellowitz Uh. He was,
- 3:30Speaker 3: I mean, it was just tougher.
- 3:31Speaker 4: I spoke like this if my throat cancer like fourteen times,
- 3:34Speaker 4: and and just it was just always just a hardcore,
- 3:37Speaker 4: just no nonsense guy. He was like, you keep that number.
- 3:40Speaker 4: You're an old school player, and you're gonna make it
- 3:43Speaker 4: that that's an old school number. You keep that number, don't.
- 3:45Speaker 4: I don't want to see you in the nineties or
- 3:46Speaker 4: anything like that. So I was like, all right, cool man,
- 3:48Speaker 4: So I just kept it.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:50Speaker 4: A lot of people think like, oh, I had all
- 3:51Speaker 4: the other connotations. I'm like, yeah, dude to me, and
- 3:55Speaker 4: then a guy I respected told me not.
- 3:56Speaker 1: To not to change it, so I was like, cool,
- 3:58Speaker 1: I'm in that makes a lot of sense too. I mean,
- 4:02Speaker 1: I like the connotation's part. But you know, you're in
- 4:06Speaker 1: high school. You see Jared Allen with the sack and like, yeah,
- 4:09Speaker 1: sixty nine back then again.
- 4:11Speaker 4: I'm like the only you know, being a California kid
- 4:13Speaker 4: growing up and going to school in California. You know,
- 4:15Speaker 4: I got to meet Snoop Dogg, like once or twice
- 4:17Speaker 4: you got to meet a Super Bowl time. I was thinking,
- 4:19Speaker 4: I was like, maybe Snup will wear my jersey one
- 4:21Speaker 4: time because of the number, and he never did.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Aht to get you.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Come on, come on. Snoop is the only person that's
- 4:31Speaker 1: been like deemed the unk for the last forty years.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I have no idea how he is. He's uncle. Snoop
- 4:37Speaker 1: just been around for that long.
- 4:39Speaker 3: She doesn't age. I don't know what it is he
- 4:41Speaker 3: doesn't age.
- 4:41Speaker 2: It's like it's like when he was twenty, he looked
- 4:43Speaker 2: like he was forty, but now that he's like sixty,
- 4:46Speaker 2: he still looks like he's forty.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I haven't been able to.
- 4:48Speaker 3: And on everything, on everything, and that's the one guy
- 4:52Speaker 3: you don't get tired of seeing on everything.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Loved him as the ambassador to the to the Olympics,
- 4:57Speaker 2: the best him and Martha Stewart.
- 4:59Speaker 1: I was like, this is this is so, but we're
- 5:00Speaker 1: not here to talk about it. Then we're going to
- 5:01Speaker 1: talk about you.
- 5:02Speaker 2: You and my dad have kicked it, bro Like you know,
- 5:04Speaker 2: like the last story I heard you, like I said
- 5:07Speaker 2: that was was back when you you own a piece.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Of a club in like Scottsdale.
- 5:11Speaker 4: You know I used to half Yeah, no, I never
- 5:15Speaker 4: owned all halfe one of an oral parts. So I
- 5:17Speaker 4: owned the lodge for goodness, like twelve years. I used
- 5:22Speaker 4: to own a place called Revolver out there, and I
- 5:23Speaker 4: should remember that place.
- 5:25Speaker 1: The Red Revolver, the double R.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Yes, the Red Revolver.
- 5:29Speaker 4: So that we stole that and then you know, I
- 5:31Speaker 4: just I just got out of the lodge last year,
- 5:34Speaker 4: gave that over to our GM and my little partner,
- 5:36Speaker 4: and so yeah, you know I got obviously be with Minnesota.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Your dad's a big name you know there.
- 5:42Speaker 4: Uh well, I mean again when I was playing you know,
- 5:47Speaker 4: and you know, uh, we had our golf tournament with
- 5:50Speaker 4: my foundation were when I was in Arizona, and you
- 5:53Speaker 4: want to get people to and we always wanted to
- 5:54Speaker 4: get local.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Guys and always you know, some of the older guys.
- 5:57Speaker 4: You always had a mixed bag of people because our
- 5:58Speaker 4: golf tournament was not about anybody who was was too
- 6:02Speaker 4: that thought they were too important.
- 6:03Speaker 3: It was about just having fun and good times.
- 6:05Speaker 4: And so your dad's company at Ryans, the company actually
- 6:07Speaker 4: sponsored a couple of vance holes came out and honestly,
- 6:11Speaker 4: we just started staying in touch and then you know,
- 6:13Speaker 4: we got a couple of beers at the you know,
- 6:14Speaker 4: at the three party or something like that. Right, always
- 6:17Speaker 4: enjoyed talking him. Did your dad become one of my
- 6:19Speaker 4: favorite people? Just like his story, his journey, you know,
- 6:22Speaker 4: playing in the eighties, you know what I mean was
- 6:24Speaker 4: a totally different ballgame and coming out the other side
- 6:27Speaker 4: of the strikes and stuff like that. And man going
- 6:30Speaker 4: to Brown University like to me, like your Pops' story
- 6:33Speaker 4: is inspiring across the board for Everybody's just a cool dude.
- 6:38Speaker 1: A Phoenix kid with two parents that were teachers, and
- 6:41Speaker 1: next thing you know, he goes to Brown and yeah,
- 6:43Speaker 1: somehow puts together a thirteen year, six time Pro Bowl career.
- 6:46Speaker 1: No yeah, just a stud and then just a freaking stud.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Like you know how many kids it takes to create
- 6:51Speaker 2: his his life story, Like I'm the football player, my
- 6:54Speaker 2: brother has to work in construction, you know, like it's
- 6:56Speaker 2: gonna take both sons equal what Pops did.
- 6:59Speaker 4: Yeah, that's the and then like not even like just
- 7:01Speaker 4: what he's an engineer, right, and it's like you have
- 7:04Speaker 4: an engineering degree from Brown and worked for Ryan Company
- 7:06Speaker 4: is like this massive fortune five hundred company. I think
- 7:09Speaker 4: I was always look at you know and tell people,
- 7:12Speaker 4: you know, and your dad was, you know, so awesome
- 7:14Speaker 4: to come up to my ring of honest ceremonial as well.
- 7:16Speaker 4: So I was still down them.
- 7:17Speaker 1: There for that.
- 7:19Speaker 4: But yeah, like I view him as like the perfect
- 7:22Speaker 4: I you know, like Jerry West was like the icon
- 7:24Speaker 4: of the the NBA is what it is supposed to be, right,
- 7:28Speaker 4: Like you have a great career and then you're successful
- 7:30Speaker 4: after your career, like.
- 7:31Speaker 3: You know, it's awesome.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Yeah, sorry, you put yourself in the mold. You're freaking
- 7:36Speaker 2: you freaking have a ranch. You were like a ranch hype.
- 7:40Speaker 2: In fact, how do you go from you know, finishing
- 7:42Speaker 2: up in Carolina to going and living in Arizona? To
- 7:46Speaker 2: moving to Nashville, Like, oh yeah.
- 7:48Speaker 4: So Arizona was always two thousand and I think six.
- 7:50Speaker 4: I move Arizona is my off season base right was
- 7:52Speaker 4: training out there and my wife, my wife out there
- 7:56Speaker 4: in two thousand and nine. We have married twenty ten,
- 7:58Speaker 4: but she wore to Issue. She's from Shock area. But
- 8:00Speaker 4: we lived out there for almost like fourteen years. Right
- 8:04Speaker 4: when we did, right when I went after I left
- 8:06Speaker 4: me the stoar and went into free agency, and then
- 8:09Speaker 4: it was still there.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Went to Chicago. Chicago was was a dumpty. I was
- 8:13Speaker 3: the only time I took the money. I took the money.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Should have just retired. Blew my L five out right.
- 8:18Speaker 3: It was like, oh my goodness.
- 8:20Speaker 4: And then so I asked him to tram me to
- 8:21Speaker 4: Carolina my last year, knowing I was going to retire.
- 8:24Speaker 4: Gets Carolina first for Little No Joe.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Saturday walked the.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Were getting ready to go to play Tampa rookie quarterback,
- 8:30Speaker 4: rookie tackle and my hands back in the dirt and
- 8:32Speaker 4: my dad, I'm about to eat this dude live walked through. Bam,
- 8:34Speaker 4: dude runs into my hip L five blown out again.
- 8:37Speaker 4: I was like, ah, play played that game with a
- 8:39Speaker 4: bust at l five. Couldn't feel like I couldn't lift
- 8:42Speaker 4: my heel off the ground for like three weeks after that,
- 8:44Speaker 4: got back, but then after so so after that, I
- 8:48Speaker 4: I was retired for Carolina Super Bowl. So we went
- 8:49Speaker 4: back there Scott's Stale with there out of your building it.
- 8:51Speaker 4: We've just been building our house, lived there for about
- 8:53Speaker 4: a year and and we just been got kind of
- 8:55Speaker 4: tired of the desert. We wanted seasons again.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Like I said, wait, you just finished building the house
- 8:59Speaker 1: and then you left the year later.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Year later, No joking, this is gonna sound so stupid,
- 9:04Speaker 4: you understand the different. So we went from Arizona, never
- 9:06Speaker 4: having scorpions. Was this beautiful house that was silver Relief
- 9:10Speaker 4: and we lived. Yeah, we came up from Tall We
- 9:13Speaker 4: came up from Tono one year one day and uh
- 9:17Speaker 4: and dude, they're building behind us and left in all
- 9:19Speaker 4: of a sudden. I mean we must have fod like
- 9:20Speaker 4: thirteen scorpions of the house. And I was like, oh,
- 9:23Speaker 4: hell no, I'm done. My kids were younger at the time.
- 9:26Speaker 4: My oldest was like, uh, I guess probably five. My
- 9:29Speaker 4: youngest was three.
- 9:31Speaker 3: And you know, we we've been wanting seasons anyways or
- 9:34Speaker 3: you know, some mild seasons. And we loved Carolina, We
- 9:38Speaker 3: really did. Charlotte was so much fun. We had such
- 9:41Speaker 3: a blast.
- 9:41Speaker 4: And I had friends out in Nashville, so we're like,
- 9:43Speaker 4: that's screw it, let's let's go. And they were going
- 9:45Speaker 4: to some the you know they're really good schools. Were
- 9:47Speaker 4: looking for good Christian schools center kids too, And then
- 9:51Speaker 4: we got here and it was like circa Phoenix two
- 9:54Speaker 4: thousand and you know, six seven, eight, nine, ten.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Just like everybody moved out here.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Every reason we left, like North Scottsdale, Like, if I
- 10:03Speaker 4: see one more person drop their kid off and a
- 10:05Speaker 4: freaking ferrari.
- 10:06Speaker 3: I'm about to punch somebody, like like we all got
- 10:09Speaker 3: money to drive a truck.
- 10:13Speaker 1: That's that's that. I don't know where these kids are
- 10:15Speaker 1: going to find their struggle from. I don't, dude.
- 10:18Speaker 3: I struggle with that as probably too.
- 10:21Speaker 4: It's like, you know, even though I remind my kids constantly,
- 10:24Speaker 4: just because your mom and I live good doesn't mean
- 10:26Speaker 4: you have anything anything.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Yeah, and we work, right, we still whether it's in
- 10:30Speaker 3: the garden, whether it's you know, on the farm, right,
- 10:32Speaker 3: we show our.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Kids, like listen, we don't have anti and if people's
- 10:36Speaker 4: lifestyle are for that, no judgment.
- 10:38Speaker 3: We just that's not our lifestyle. And it's hard, especially.
- 10:41Speaker 4: When you're you know, you know, probably I you know,
- 10:44Speaker 4: I grew up very blue collar, grew up on a
- 10:45Speaker 4: horsemancher and my dad tying rain and cutting horses, and
- 10:49Speaker 4: then to have something, you know, to I still have
- 10:51Speaker 4: that mindset. I still everything I do, I just work
- 10:53Speaker 4: and do it myself. But you said, you try to
- 10:55Speaker 4: send your kids at the best schools.
- 10:56Speaker 3: You try to send your kids and these things, but
- 10:57Speaker 3: then they're surrounded by.
- 10:58Speaker 1: These you know, you can kids that have been been
- 11:01Speaker 1: used to having the best first, and you're just like.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I've told Wifey, in a couple of years, we're going
- 11:07Speaker 2: to a three bedroom, two bedroom apartment for a year.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Like yep, you're gonna know what roymen Noodle and Tampico.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Is, you know, like just like, get us some bunk beds.
- 11:17Speaker 1: But let me, I got so off topic. That's that's
- 11:19Speaker 1: on me.
- 11:21Speaker 2: I did talk to Peanut Tilban and Big Heart, and
- 11:25Speaker 2: they they said you were an amazing teammate, but they
- 11:29Speaker 2: wanted to talk a little bit about your time in Carolina.
- 11:31Speaker 2: You know, it's called twenty fifteen and just said see
- 11:34Speaker 2: if you had any any four thoughts on one.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Thomas Davis and a prayer circle O prayer in the
- 11:42Speaker 1: locker room.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Thomas Davis was a listen as a Christian.
- 11:47Speaker 4: I'm all for prayer anywhere, but sometimes you can't be
- 11:51Speaker 4: dropping like f bombs during the prayer.
- 11:53Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Oh, no, you gotta get,
- 11:57Speaker 1: you gotta get free, free, he gets, he gets.
- 12:00Speaker 3: He just goes. So we have this rehearse you know,
- 12:03Speaker 3: you know it was a rehearsed, but he.
- 12:04Speaker 4: Basically takes some Thomas Davis would take some, uh some
- 12:07Speaker 4: quotes from the Bible, like you know, if you know,
- 12:09Speaker 4: if he's.
- 12:10Speaker 3: For us, who could be against us? Those times thing
- 12:12Speaker 3: everybody be shouted out and kind of became this thing.
- 12:15Speaker 3: I always always thought it was interesting, funny. So I
- 12:17Speaker 3: thought Rome. Rome was one of my favorite people.
- 12:20Speaker 4: I love Pianis and Peanut I were in Chicago together too,
- 12:22Speaker 4: right and uh Rome always used to remind me that,
- 12:25Speaker 4: you know he has.
- 12:25Speaker 3: My Super Bowl ring.
- 12:27Speaker 4: Uh when because good old New Orleans Saints and back
- 12:31Speaker 4: in two thousand and nine, freaking you guys, and uh
- 12:34Speaker 4: so we always joke that we're gonna win one together.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Then you let the pass me the past, and then
- 12:39Speaker 4: uh peanuts. Peanut says he's the best. He's a prankster
- 12:42Speaker 4: and and love. So I'll tell you a funny story
- 12:44Speaker 4: about Chicago though. So I got pneumonia and Chicago and
- 12:48Speaker 4: uh busted.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Chicago was rough. I busted my out five literally got
- 12:51Speaker 3: the money.
- 12:52Speaker 4: I lost like nineteen pounds in like a in like
- 12:54Speaker 4: a seven day span. Right, So I missed the Green
- 12:57Speaker 4: Bay game and I come back and playing Carolina. We're
- 13:00Speaker 4: actually playing Carolina, so I get you know, you gotta
- 13:02Speaker 4: wear a suit on the on the plane. So I
- 13:04Speaker 4: come and my suit no longer is like this rune,
- 13:07Speaker 4: it's like this, right, So I got my cowboy and
- 13:11Speaker 4: on everything like that. So Peter starts calling me DBC
- 13:15Speaker 4: Dallas fires Fluck so stuck, so stuck, and you call
- 13:21Speaker 4: me DVC the rest of the year because I just
- 13:24Speaker 4: looked deadly sick, oh dude, And uh so, yeah that
- 13:28Speaker 4: was that was a good time. But yeah, Thomas Davis,
- 13:30Speaker 4: the Praisers, Sure it was always great, uh man, I always,
- 13:33Speaker 4: I just did. We had so much fun in Carolina
- 13:36Speaker 4: that year. It suck not to win the Super Bowl.
- 13:39Speaker 4: We talked about being humbled. That was one of those years,
- 13:41Speaker 4: and as as a as an older guy and a
- 13:43Speaker 4: pass rusher in the league, and and but you know,
- 13:46Speaker 4: you you expect there to stay at a level that is.
- 13:48Speaker 4: It's that you expect, right, you don't play it anybody
- 13:50Speaker 4: don't the standard of your team. You played your standard.
- 13:53Speaker 4: And you know, it was frustrated my last my last
- 13:56Speaker 4: year dealing with those injuries and stuff like that. And
- 13:59Speaker 4: then and you know, knowing I was going to retire
- 14:01Speaker 4: because I wasn't willing to put the work in to
- 14:04Speaker 4: be at the standard.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Iye game necessary, but it.
- 14:06Speaker 4: Was humbling because it was like statistically one of my
- 14:08Speaker 4: worst years I've ever you know, I played, but from
- 14:11Speaker 4: a team standpoint, is our best.
- 14:12Speaker 3: You know, I got to play in the super Bowl.
- 14:13Speaker 1: It was great.
- 14:14Speaker 4: And that's why you know, Carolina will always hold you know,
- 14:17Speaker 4: a special time at place in my heart because we
- 14:19Speaker 4: had so much fun. Sean McDermott like, I love that guy.
- 14:22Speaker 3: I never came out. I came in. I was like
- 14:24Speaker 3: apologizing toil. I was like, man, coach, you know, I've
- 14:25Speaker 3: been hitting the quarterback and.
- 14:26Speaker 4: I got to get these sac numbers up to help us,
- 14:29Speaker 4: and he threw on my run tape right and he's like,
- 14:32Speaker 4: we don't.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Have anybody at setting edgines like this right now. And
- 14:35Speaker 3: so I was like it was humbling, right, because you
- 14:37Speaker 3: get so sometimes.
- 14:38Speaker 4: You get so caught up in what the flashy stuff is,
- 14:40Speaker 4: you forget that, you know, football is a team sport,
- 14:42Speaker 4: and sometimes you have a role to play and sometimes
- 14:45Speaker 4: you know it ain't the role you want to play, right,
- 14:47Speaker 4: But we're winning games and you know.
- 14:49Speaker 3: So you know, Carolina was great, Thomas Davids was great.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Room was my guy. Peanut freaking joined the FBI like
- 14:55Speaker 3: that dude, they're nuts.
- 14:57Speaker 1: And he showed he showed you that edge run play.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Did he make you start playing three technique?
- 15:01Speaker 2: No?
- 15:01Speaker 3: That was I was never gonna be that heavy, right, That's.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Good for you, bro. Look this year happened for me.
- 15:07Speaker 2: I'm like, I came in the lightest I've ever been,
- 15:09Speaker 2: like two seventy something, two seventy, two seventy four, and.
- 15:12Speaker 1: This year like, hey, third down, go go rush against
- 15:16Speaker 1: the guard. And I was like, no, that's not what
- 15:17Speaker 1: I do.
- 15:18Speaker 4: No, no, no.
- 15:18Speaker 2: In fact, Russia gets the Russian gets the center. We're
- 15:21Speaker 2: gonna have these young guys on this edge, and I'm like,
- 15:24Speaker 2: what did I do to deserve this?
- 15:26Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 15:26Speaker 4: Right, Like, all all I've done is ever whooped everybody
- 15:29Speaker 4: on the edge. Now you're gonna ring me in a
- 15:30Speaker 4: three technique the seventies like a d tackle these days.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Yeah, if you're if you're Aaron Donald.
- 15:37Speaker 4: Yeah, well that's that's a whole other beast right there. Now.
- 15:41Speaker 2: They keep the Vitaves, the Vitavese, the dexter Lawrences, the
- 15:44Speaker 2: dexter Lawrences.
- 15:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I love seeing Chris Jones.
- 15:47Speaker 4: And the dude, dude, dude gets to the quarterback, he
- 15:50Speaker 4: stops the one, right, I mean, of course, it's it's
- 15:53Speaker 4: like it's remember I used to tell our d line
- 15:56Speaker 4: coach all the time too.
- 15:57Speaker 3: I used to hate when we would go our nickel.
- 15:59Speaker 4: Package right and then we go green and have two
- 16:01Speaker 4: three techniques because I'm like, now, all you're doing is
- 16:03Speaker 4: out on the center of scan.
- 16:04Speaker 3: I was like, I used to love a big dukie.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Pat Williams was right there on the nose.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Williams wall.
- 16:09Speaker 3: You know I played with big He's gonna get three
- 16:12Speaker 3: yards deep. No one's not stopping Pat from getting three
- 16:14Speaker 3: yards deep. Nobody now and now the guard has to
- 16:17Speaker 3: respect him. And if the guard comes to me, he's
- 16:20Speaker 3: gonna win. If not, I got a one on one.
- 16:21Speaker 3: So yeah, I'm a big fan of keeping the big
- 16:24Speaker 3: guys in there, even when you're pass rushing.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Keep the big guys. Look, you don't need four dancing bears.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Sometimes you need a ward hog or two.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Yeah, push that big ass pocket and guess what. The
- 16:34Speaker 1: ads can do anything they want.
- 16:36Speaker 3: I used to tell the the de Tagle all the time.
- 16:39Speaker 4: I said, if you get three yards deep every pass
- 16:41Speaker 4: rush and stay in your let, I promise you I'll
- 16:43Speaker 4: get your five sacks.
- 16:44Speaker 3: He's three five sacks. I'll chase him right to you.
- 16:48Speaker 1: They gonna step up in yours.
- 16:49Speaker 3: You start thinking yourself, then you're not and you get
- 16:51Speaker 3: my way. We're gonna have a problem every.
- 16:53Speaker 1: And every year.
- 16:54Speaker 2: You're gonna get a detacle like oh, I like to
- 16:56Speaker 2: do the swim or the rif with the chop like, well,
- 16:58Speaker 2: actually you're six yards up the field, bro, I didn't
- 17:00Speaker 2: ask you to be there.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:02Speaker 2: I need I need interior rushers to be three to
- 17:05Speaker 2: four yards up the field and be able to play
- 17:07Speaker 2: both gaps.
- 17:08Speaker 1: And I need and I need you to go ahead
- 17:10Speaker 1: and stop the screens. That's your job.
- 17:13Speaker 4: So uh yeah, I think the game the game shifted
- 17:16Speaker 4: either so many hybrids now there's so many this, but
- 17:18Speaker 4: you go back and there's still some teams out there
- 17:20Speaker 4: getting you know, I like, I like what Denver did
- 17:22Speaker 4: this year, right, you know, and they got it. They
- 17:24Speaker 4: got some big guys in the in the in the
- 17:26Speaker 4: in the DJ Jones, I think he played DJ Jones.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Zach Zach Taylor, Yeah, yeah, Zach Zach Allen, Right, yeah, Allen,
- 17:33Speaker 2: what does that?
- 17:33Speaker 3: Zach Zach Allen, Yeah DJ. I like DJ from the standpoint,
- 17:37Speaker 3: like he can do it both.
- 17:38Speaker 4: But he's another one of those old school kind of
- 17:40Speaker 4: nose tackles, right, you know, he actually played for three.
- 17:43Speaker 3: He's that interior d lineman that that's what he does.
- 17:46Speaker 1: You know.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Zach's kind of could flex a little bit I think
- 17:48Speaker 3: in modern day.
- 17:49Speaker 4: But then yeah, but you got guys like Nick Benito
- 17:52Speaker 4: who know they're roy they are going to come off
- 17:54Speaker 4: the edge, and I think that's you saw me. You know,
- 17:56Speaker 4: they got sixty three SASH this year. And when I
- 17:58Speaker 4: watched their film, guy knew their role in their responsibilities
- 18:02Speaker 4: in the past Rush game and that's in you know,
- 18:04Speaker 4: a good a good solid interior allows your your your
- 18:08Speaker 4: edge guys to.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Have two way go. You're freaking absolutely has a two
- 18:10Speaker 3: way go. You're good. At some point you're killing a tackle.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Jonathan Cooper on the other side going crazy, like you
- 18:17Speaker 2: look up and it's it's, you know, thirteen sacks one side,
- 18:22Speaker 2: eleven sacks the other side.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Six sacks in the middle like the eight sacks. They're
- 18:26Speaker 1: like you just you can piece together quite time.
- 18:30Speaker 3: And that's and that's the thing. And that's and that's
- 18:31Speaker 3: where coaches kind of got it. You got to get
- 18:33Speaker 3: the way. That's why I love Jamarking.
- 18:34Speaker 4: So I was able to not just this year, the
- 18:36Speaker 4: year before I did it, Uh just some consulting with
- 18:39Speaker 4: Denver and and it was it was really cool. I got,
- 18:42Speaker 4: you know, work with Jamar and Mike will Hoyt and
- 18:44Speaker 4: those guys, and and you know, even you know, talking
- 18:49Speaker 4: with coaches given the player perspective, is you know, really
- 18:52Speaker 4: allowing because somebody coaches too, they want to get into
- 18:54Speaker 4: this this.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Aspect of like, well we got to push the middle.
- 18:57Speaker 4: We got a cajuble on the outside, especially in this
- 18:58Speaker 4: I mean, you know better than me, We didn't have
- 19:00Speaker 4: that many mobile quarterbacks when I when I was playing right. Uh,
- 19:04Speaker 4: this whole era of crazy athletic quarterbacks, I think coaches
- 19:08Speaker 4: kind of they they chase ghosts and they get scared
- 19:10Speaker 4: and they don't they don't allow their guys to take
- 19:11Speaker 4: their shot. So that's why it's so important to have
- 19:14Speaker 4: guys on the same page and have middle push that
- 19:16Speaker 4: you see color replace color. But you gotta allow your
- 19:19Speaker 4: talented guys to have two way goes.
- 19:21Speaker 3: You got allowed to throw.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Otherwise you get into these things where these quarterbacks are
- 19:24Speaker 4: too good that they can scramble, they can pat the ball,
- 19:26Speaker 4: they can just tear you apart.
- 19:28Speaker 3: It hurts you.
- 19:28Speaker 1: It hurts you in the ground and in the air.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Then you're just sitting there stuck. We gotta we got
- 19:33Speaker 2: to cage them, but he's killing us in the air.
- 19:34Speaker 2: But we gotta get after him, but he's killing us
- 19:37Speaker 2: with his feet.
- 19:37Speaker 3: Yeah, you get coach ever told me I would?
- 19:40Speaker 4: Oh man, it was dang or a fight you If
- 19:42Speaker 4: I heard the word cage rush come out of some
- 19:43Speaker 4: coaches mouth on the sidelines, you always then why am
- 19:46Speaker 4: I here?
- 19:46Speaker 3: You want a cage rush? Go get me gags.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Look, I was. I was okay with them, Like, yo,
- 19:51Speaker 1: I'm a power rusher.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Anyways, throw age, okay, cage rush because I'm on the
- 19:55Speaker 2: left side and i'm and we're facing a right handed quarterback.
- 19:57Speaker 1: I get it. But you gotta let the other court,
- 19:59Speaker 1: the other defensive be and go eat then.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Yeah, Like, if he's right right handed quarterback, that means
- 20:04Speaker 2: that the guy on the other side got to be
- 20:05Speaker 2: able to have the inside movie.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Did you know that you also got to earn the
- 20:08Speaker 3: right to miss right? You got to earn the right.
- 20:10Speaker 4: I tell people all the time, the difference between greatness
- 20:13Speaker 4: and failure this much. I actually got a chance, and
- 20:16Speaker 4: the only reason I'm considered great is because I made
- 20:18Speaker 4: the plays. If I missed him, I probably would have
- 20:21Speaker 4: washed out.
- 20:22Speaker 2: But hey, that's tell guys all the time, like, hey, pressures,
- 20:25Speaker 2: pressures are cool.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Sacks will come, but if they don't, and all you
- 20:28Speaker 1: are is a pressure guy.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Have you seen some of these stats they make?
- 20:33Speaker 1: They love they love the pressure, led the pressures every year.
- 20:37Speaker 1: What does that do for you?
- 20:39Speaker 4: The guy has three sacks, but he's led the league.
- 20:41Speaker 4: He's the number one defensive player for pressures, QB hits
- 20:44Speaker 4: and attempted sacks. I'm like, jeez, get out of here.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm like, and that's a stat that nobody
- 20:49Speaker 1: will care about when he's done playing, right.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely absolutely.
- 20:53Speaker 4: It's it's amazing how they find ways to, uh to
- 20:56Speaker 4: create hype on some of these guys.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Now, I feel like Brad Pitt and he was when
- 21:00Speaker 2: he was Achilles, like, and that's why nobody else will
- 21:03Speaker 2: remember your name, precious.
- 21:06Speaker 1: QB is like, did you get them down? Yes or no?
- 21:08Speaker 1: Like we can talk about the theory of getting them down,
- 21:10Speaker 1: but like, that's what that is.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Theory one hundred percent. Yeah, you got to get that's
- 21:15Speaker 4: step one. But eventually you got it, you gotta make
- 21:17Speaker 4: it happen. And that's why I'm you know, and I
- 21:19Speaker 4: look at guys, you know you rush, especially these top
- 21:23Speaker 4: guys that rushing.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Crazy this year.
- 21:28Speaker 4: A lot of these top guys are on the left.
- 21:30Speaker 4: That's my probably my only point I don't like about
- 21:34Speaker 4: some of these top tier guys. Go to the right side,
- 21:37Speaker 4: go with the best tackle and let's see what Let's
- 21:40Speaker 4: see what happens.
- 21:40Speaker 2: I don't know if I don't know if they're the
- 21:41Speaker 2: best tackles anymore. Honestly, no, I agree with you. And honestly,
- 21:46Speaker 2: now look at the right ends, like you sort of
- 21:47Speaker 2: had it easy. Like are you like if you're on
- 21:50Speaker 2: if you're.
- 21:51Speaker 1: On the left, you're a left d or whatever. Whatever.
- 21:53Speaker 2: You go against their left tackle. You're right in and
- 21:55Speaker 2: you're going against the better tackle. You're also in the
- 21:57Speaker 2: quarterbacks blind spot. Yeah, he doesn't see you at all.
- 22:01Speaker 3: That's that's that's why I love us. That's how I
- 22:03Speaker 3: got put over there. Right.
- 22:04Speaker 4: That's back in the day, they're like, the best tackle
- 22:06Speaker 4: is going to be on the black spot. You want
- 22:07Speaker 4: to be the best, you gotta go against the best.
- 22:11Speaker 4: I you know, I see you know, guys kind of
- 22:13Speaker 4: move around, you know, stuff like that. Yeah, you know again,
- 22:17Speaker 4: you're right.
- 22:17Speaker 3: The tackle play though it is not the same. It's
- 22:20Speaker 3: not the same you first came in either, uh and
- 22:22Speaker 3: so I.
- 22:23Speaker 4: But it's it's funny to see the shift because when
- 22:26Speaker 4: I was when I was in the league, I mean,
- 22:28Speaker 4: everybody who was in.
- 22:29Speaker 3: The top tier was the right end.
- 22:30Speaker 4: Right.
- 22:31Speaker 3: It's flopped. Now almost everybody in the top tier is
- 22:33Speaker 3: a left end. Yeah, right, so I.
- 22:36Speaker 4: So I then I argue, I wonder, you know, you know,
- 22:38Speaker 4: Trent Williams is probably still the only true solid like
- 22:41Speaker 4: left tackle from from from from you know, back in
- 22:44Speaker 4: the day a little bit. But yeah, maybe maybe that,
- 22:46Speaker 4: maybe that maybe they're with these mobile quarterbacks and shift,
- 22:48Speaker 4: they're putting the best players, you know, they put the
- 22:50Speaker 4: best players.
- 22:51Speaker 3: They're putting the best player on the.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Right now because the right ends or left ends might
- 22:54Speaker 4: be getting more one on ones because now they know
- 22:56Speaker 4: the quarterbacks can see them and they're gone anyway, So
- 22:58Speaker 4: what do they care about their blind side?
- 23:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I gotta don't have worry about the black side's
- 23:02Speaker 2: about to be out of here.
- 23:03Speaker 1: He can't get the ball off of the first second read.
- 23:05Speaker 1: He's gone anyways.
- 23:06Speaker 4: Because you look at you go back and look at
- 23:08Speaker 4: Philly what Lane Johnson was kind of their all pro.
- 23:10Speaker 4: He was the right he was the right tackle.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Right.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Yeah, interesting, that's interesting.
- 23:15Speaker 4: I gotta take a look at that because I think
- 23:16Speaker 4: maybe the dynamics shift and that's why you're seeing the
- 23:19Speaker 4: top guys over on the left.
- 23:20Speaker 1: As quarterbacks to get more mobile.
- 23:22Speaker 2: You don't need you like you gotta if you gotta
- 23:25Speaker 2: just the guy on the on the uh, you know,
- 23:27Speaker 2: protect the blind side. That's fine because he got his
- 23:29Speaker 2: first three second read out. Yeah, you got guys that
- 23:32Speaker 2: can make it work.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Hey, I guess then you want your best.
- 23:34Speaker 4: You want your best, and then you're gonna wat your
- 23:35Speaker 4: best pass usure in his in his vision, right right,
- 23:38Speaker 4: You're gonna want him looking at you.
- 23:39Speaker 3: That makes sense. That that's football. The game is always changing.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Look, it's always evolving.
- 23:46Speaker 2: We'll be right back. You're nine years out now, about
- 23:49Speaker 2: to be ten years out. That's crazy to think about.
- 23:52Speaker 2: In the history of the NFL. I looked up, it's
- 23:54Speaker 2: just you and one. You know one Arizona uh one,
- 23:58Speaker 2: Arizona native Terrell's US. They have over one hundred and
- 24:02Speaker 2: you know, one hundred and thirty something sacks. You know
- 24:04Speaker 2: you ad one thirty six has got to be somewhere
- 24:06Speaker 2: around there on thirty eight ish. You two are the
- 24:09Speaker 2: only ones above one hundred and thirty without the h
- 24:12Speaker 2: o F.
- 24:12Speaker 1: When does it call it? Your name?
- 24:14Speaker 3: Oh Man?
- 24:15Speaker 4: To be honest with you, I thought I should have
- 24:16Speaker 4: been in. Yeah, I should have been in three years ago.
- 24:19Speaker 4: You know I've been since I was eligible. I've been
- 24:22Speaker 4: a finalist. This is my fifth time as a finalist.
- 24:24Speaker 4: I know Troell sucks.
- 24:25Speaker 3: He's a finalist this year is his first year is eligibility.
- 24:29Speaker 3: I don't know why.
- 24:29Speaker 4: I don't know why they haven't putting in. Dude, be honestly,
- 24:31Speaker 4: I tell them all the time. I'm like, it clearly
- 24:33Speaker 4: isn't because of my numbers. So I probably pised somebody
- 24:35Speaker 4: off along the way. You can't say that to me,
- 24:39Speaker 4: So I be honest. I thought I was gonna go
- 24:40Speaker 4: in my second year. I was pretty bumped. I didn't
- 24:42Speaker 4: get to go in uh third year, especially like me
- 24:45Speaker 4: and where the markets were, I have pretty much identical careers.
- 24:48Speaker 4: And then so he went on his second ballot, freeing
- 24:50Speaker 4: who I my numbers are. I got more numbers less.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Time than him.
- 24:54Speaker 4: He went in a second ballot. Somehow I was sitting
- 24:56Speaker 4: around in my fifth ballot. All the great players, I think.
- 24:59Speaker 4: That's my My beef with the Hall is like they
- 25:02Speaker 4: they make you start kind of like second guessing, and
- 25:04Speaker 4: you're like, well, hold I played, I've been out ten years.
- 25:06Speaker 4: There's nothing I can do about it, right, I'm right,
- 25:11Speaker 4: one more season yourself. Like I'm a massive fan of
- 25:13Speaker 4: Julius Pepers, I'm a massive fan of all these guys.
- 25:15Speaker 4: There are great players, you know, But the reality is
- 25:18Speaker 4: when I played. Nobody had more sex than me in
- 25:20Speaker 4: the twelve years I played.
- 25:22Speaker 3: And so it's hard. It's hard.
- 25:24Speaker 4: It's hard to understand why I'm not in yet. But
- 25:26Speaker 4: hopefully this will be the year. If not, but at
- 25:29Speaker 4: the end of the day, you know that's not the
- 25:30Speaker 4: reason I played. I truly played this game for the
- 25:33Speaker 4: respect of my peers and the respect of those who
- 25:35Speaker 4: played before me. So you know, sitting here talking with
- 25:37Speaker 4: you and and then you know you have the unique
- 25:40Speaker 4: perspective of having it of a dad who's in the
- 25:42Speaker 4: Ring of Honor of Minnesota and being able to talk
- 25:44Speaker 4: to guys like your dad and then tell me, hey,
- 25:45Speaker 4: Jared played the game right like that means more than
- 25:48Speaker 4: me than any gold jacket, whether any.
- 25:50Speaker 3: For the people believe or not.
- 25:51Speaker 4: I mean, the Hall of Fame is one of the
- 25:52Speaker 4: greatest honors you could ever have. I'd be I would
- 25:54Speaker 4: wear that thing with honor. But at the end of
- 25:56Speaker 4: the day, I'm not kissing the ring. I'm not playing
- 25:58Speaker 4: the political game.
- 25:58Speaker 3: If my if my, if my the.
- 26:00Speaker 4: Product I put on the field, if it doesn't stand
- 26:03Speaker 4: the test of time, or you don't think I'm good enough,
- 26:05Speaker 4: then just.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Say that, right, Let it be what it's gonna be.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Don't put me in the files, that's fine. But if
- 26:09Speaker 3: it is, put me in, let's stop playing this song
- 26:11Speaker 3: and dance because I'm.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Not I'm not playing the right Stop playing me.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Yeah, right, you know what I mean?
- 26:16Speaker 4: Like my number speak for themselves and again sugs, you know,
- 26:21Speaker 4: but he had seventeen years something like that, right, you know,
- 26:24Speaker 4: I was big on my average.
- 26:25Speaker 3: And you know, they don't really give you criteria. That's
- 26:26Speaker 3: the thing that frustrate you. They don't tell you really
- 26:28Speaker 3: why you don't make it right? You do criteria.
- 26:30Speaker 4: I've heard things from like, oh, if you would have played,
- 26:32Speaker 4: you know, a couple more years and had four more sacks,
- 26:35Speaker 4: you would have walked in first ballot. And for me,
- 26:37Speaker 4: my my average, I was actually pissed. I dropped below
- 26:39Speaker 4: twelve a year. So I but it's probably not the
- 26:43Speaker 4: right thing, but it's a great motivation. Got their Cunningham gods.
- 26:46Speaker 4: So when I came to the league, he was like, hey,
- 26:48Speaker 4: Derek Thomas average twelve sacks a year. You aren't worth
- 26:51Speaker 4: your salt unless you average twelve sacks a year as
- 26:54Speaker 4: a rookie. So you know, now you got a rookie,
- 26:56Speaker 4: he allly cares about to get into the quarterback. So
- 26:59Speaker 4: but that's how I measured myself. And I just I
- 27:03Speaker 4: you know, I cared so much about making sure I
- 27:05Speaker 4: was in that you know, that rough of that twelve
- 27:06Speaker 4: sac of year average. And then again just you know,
- 27:11Speaker 4: with the injuries. You know, I played in the Super
- 27:13Speaker 4: Bowl and bust and foot busted my l five twice.
- 27:15Speaker 3: But you know, no one really knows about those things
- 27:17Speaker 3: because I kept playing.
- 27:18Speaker 4: I played through them, and I believe that, if you know,
- 27:21Speaker 4: seventy percent of me was better than the guy behind me.
- 27:24Speaker 4: And that's kind of the other thing that it's hard
- 27:25Speaker 4: for me to look at some of these guys that
- 27:26Speaker 4: you know, I still got a torn pack. I played
- 27:28Speaker 4: nine with a complete torn pack. You know, guys that
- 27:32Speaker 4: missed full seasons. You know, with some of these injuries
- 27:35Speaker 4: that that I've played through, I mean, teach their own, uh.
- 27:38Speaker 4: I just you know, maybe maybe that's maybe that maybe
- 27:41Speaker 4: that's maybe some smarter than me. I probably would have
- 27:42Speaker 4: got fixed up. I could have had one hundred fifty
- 27:44Speaker 4: Hall of Fame already.
- 27:47Speaker 1: You just took a couple of weeks off. No, I don't,
- 27:49Speaker 1: I don't know nothing. I don't know.
- 27:51Speaker 3: I hope we get it.
- 27:52Speaker 4: I love is one of my favorite guys. You know,
- 27:56Speaker 4: like I said, he uh, another issue guy. I used
- 27:58Speaker 4: to I used to love watching him play in college.
- 28:01Speaker 4: I'll give you, I'll give you guys we want here.
- 28:02Speaker 3: One of the funniest Trell Sugg stories there. It's not
- 28:05Speaker 3: even him were we were. It was one of his friends.
- 28:08Speaker 3: We were on up we were all planing on to
- 28:09Speaker 3: Hawaii and about you.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Know, Hawaiian airlines non stop from Phoenix to to Honolulu,
- 28:15Speaker 4: and uh, we're sitting in first class and so they
- 28:19Speaker 4: come around with the pog juice.
- 28:20Speaker 3: You know, you give you those pog juice when you
- 28:21Speaker 3: get on the plane.
- 28:23Speaker 4: And one of his buddies was sitting behind me, and
- 28:27Speaker 4: so he goes, excuse me, ma'm can I get a
- 28:28Speaker 4: vodka vodka cranberry and sen bras of Abka cranberry. And
- 28:33Speaker 4: he goes to pay and she said, she said, oh no,
- 28:37Speaker 4: the drinks are complimentary up here. And his to the
- 28:41Speaker 4: amount of excitement this dude got was like hey, he
- 28:44Speaker 4: started yelling to his buddies up with the other foot across.
- 28:47Speaker 4: You know, we were like the back left the first
- 28:48Speaker 4: class literally front right, the first left.
- 28:51Speaker 3: Hey yo, hey yo dog, the vodka cranberries are free
- 28:54Speaker 3: up there.
- 28:57Speaker 1: At all party, A tall party. Yeah yeah, it's just
- 29:00Speaker 1: I was like.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Man, he was so excited. I'm ordered about the tripp.
- 29:04Speaker 1: I have I have what He's happy? Hell yeah, oh man,
- 29:10Speaker 1: I was.
- 29:11Speaker 4: I was dying laughing and Suck just sitting there shaking
- 29:14Speaker 4: his head, cracking up, smiling his buddy. I mean, he
- 29:17Speaker 4: was elated. I was like that, that's what that should be.
- 29:20Speaker 4: Everybody should have that same joy with her flying first class.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Hell yeah, So you guys were that's back when the
- 29:27Speaker 1: Pro Bowl was in Hawaii.
- 29:28Speaker 4: That was good.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I caught that. I think I caught the laugh.
- 29:32Speaker 2: My first two Pro Bowls were in Hawaii.
- 29:34Speaker 3: So when was your first one?
- 29:35Speaker 1: And so he was, ay been thirteen, So that's the
- 29:38Speaker 1: day they did.
- 29:40Speaker 3: They did thirteen sven or twelve one of them.
- 29:43Speaker 1: One of them I think fourteen was Arizona.
- 29:45Speaker 4: But yeah, let then came back so we went to Orlando,
- 29:48Speaker 4: I think in like that nine ten, so that ten
- 29:50Speaker 4: Super Bowl or was sorry, I was down in Fort Lauderdale,
- 29:53Speaker 4: Miami Pro Bowl the first year they moved it from
- 29:56Speaker 4: Hawaii it was a miserable fail.
- 29:58Speaker 3: And then they moved it back to Hawaii.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Miami. Miami can't be a miserable.
- 30:01Speaker 4: Fan, Dude, don't because they didn't get They didn't so
- 30:04Speaker 4: they didn't run out the entire hotel and guys were
- 30:07Speaker 4: no joke. We had dudes coming from the club to
- 30:10Speaker 4: the game. It was like the NFL sent like four
- 30:13Speaker 4: people home that year. It was just like, right goal
- 30:17Speaker 4: back Hawaii. So I played at twelve and then I
- 30:20Speaker 4: think you're right, I think thirteen and then fourteen.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Thirteen, thirteen was for sure Hawaii because I was like,
- 30:27Speaker 2: I was like, I'm here. I was like, yes, yes,
- 30:29Speaker 2: and then fifteen had fifteen season. I think like the
- 30:33Speaker 2: next year, I think they went to Arizona, or maybe
- 30:35Speaker 2: the year before that they went to Arizona and then
- 30:38Speaker 2: came back to Hawaii and my son was born.
- 30:40Speaker 1: I was like, I was like, I've finally done it.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Pop took me to Pops with me to Hawaii when
- 30:44Speaker 1: he made the Pro Bowl. I took my son Hawaii
- 30:45Speaker 1: would make the Pro Bowl. This is awesome, like this
- 30:48Speaker 1: full circle.
- 30:49Speaker 4: I made my first trip ever. I waited, I love joke,
- 30:52Speaker 4: never went to Hawaii and telling me the Pro Bowl,
- 30:55Speaker 4: so that without all By went to Hawaii and then
- 30:58Speaker 4: I got to.
- 30:58Speaker 3: Bring my daughter. You know, she was three months all
- 31:00Speaker 3: I got the bringer over the few times it.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Was like, right, we'll be back in a minute.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Let me ask you this, this Hall of Fame situation,
- 31:08Speaker 2: is it you have to go to like the hotel
- 31:09Speaker 2: and then like if it's knock on the door.
- 31:12Speaker 3: I got lucky in that, so COVID they ended that. Man,
- 31:14Speaker 3: no joke.
- 31:15Speaker 4: I was at the Super Bowl, so they used to
- 31:17Speaker 4: bring the top fifteen out and they would praye you
- 31:20Speaker 4: around like you were basically game all week. I mean
- 31:23Speaker 4: you and your wife all dressed up, ready to go
- 31:25Speaker 4: to the ceremony, and then you get if you either
- 31:27Speaker 4: get the knock or the call, and get the call,
- 31:29Speaker 4: you pack it up and hit the hit the road, right.
- 31:32Speaker 4: And I mean I watched these guys on the plane
- 31:33Speaker 4: just like dejected or something like that. That's not honoring
- 31:36Speaker 4: and that's my problem, right, they're not. It starts out
- 31:40Speaker 4: this big Arnham at the final fifteen. They've already way,
- 31:42Speaker 4: they already cut the ten, so there's five people automatically
- 31:44Speaker 4: don't even get to get voted off.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Right.
- 31:46Speaker 4: Then in that ten, they cut you, then they cut
- 31:47Speaker 4: to the final five, and then they do the updown
- 31:51Speaker 4: vote for seventy percent, right, and so it's like, you know,
- 31:54Speaker 4: they really could, in my opinion, could just have five finalists, right,
- 31:58Speaker 4: and be like Baseball and then be transparent. Either get
- 32:00Speaker 4: seventy percent of the vote or you don't. Right, you
- 32:03Speaker 4: can put a baseball. You can put as many in
- 32:04Speaker 4: as you want or as little end as you want.
- 32:06Speaker 4: So I think what happens is you get to this
- 32:08Speaker 4: point where you guys are being celebrated and then it's
- 32:11Speaker 4: this axe and then they just kind of disregard you
- 32:14Speaker 4: after you're not and you just kind of get disregarded
- 32:16Speaker 4: and they ask you to kind of carry on the
- 32:18Speaker 4: ruse until, you know, until the NFL Honors show, and
- 32:21Speaker 4: you're like, man, it's just it's not it's not a
- 32:24Speaker 4: way to honor guys career. And then and then you're
- 32:26Speaker 4: pitting guys like well then you're not know this that
- 32:29Speaker 4: you're just comparing guys to who you're fans of, who
- 32:31Speaker 4: you're probably friends with, and it's this this this kind
- 32:34Speaker 4: of this feeling.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Of like, man, you look for me.
- 32:37Speaker 1: You made a pseudo war out of it.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Well, yeah, it's like and then you get you get guys.
- 32:41Speaker 4: You know again, it's it kind of takes the stinger
- 32:44Speaker 4: away from me, Like again, I I think about the
- 32:47Speaker 4: Hall of Fame for the couple of weeks on the
- 32:48Speaker 4: Finalist and then afterwards, if you know, the last year,
- 32:50Speaker 4: I haven't been mad.
- 32:51Speaker 3: I'm like, then I'm pissed. I'm like, why am I
- 32:52Speaker 3: even pissed? I don't There's nothing I can do about it.
- 32:54Speaker 3: Who cares? I go out living my life right. My
- 32:56Speaker 3: kids are still gonna love me, and my wife loves me.
- 32:58Speaker 3: I still got churst to dude. Nothing my life and change.
- 33:00Speaker 4: And but you know, it's just sad because it really
- 33:06Speaker 4: you take that, you take this stands where you should
- 33:07Speaker 4: be honoring these guys, and there's a moment where it
- 33:10Speaker 4: becomes almost like just a show or or you guys
- 33:15Speaker 4: that just feel so rejected.
- 33:17Speaker 3: And they shouldn't have to feel that way. And so,
- 33:19Speaker 3: you know, and I get it.
- 33:20Speaker 4: It's it's not everybody gets in, and not everybody, but
- 33:23Speaker 4: at some point, you know, six seven, eight, nine times
- 33:26Speaker 4: in the finals, like come on, if you keep putting
- 33:29Speaker 4: the guy that just put them in, nothing's changing all
- 33:31Speaker 4: you're doing is telling me is you're waiting for the
- 33:33Speaker 4: You're waiting for someone who you deem weaker than me
- 33:36Speaker 4: for me to surpass. That's all right, right, all right
- 33:39Speaker 4: now you're the cute girl amongst the ugly people.
- 33:41Speaker 1: All right now you're now you're we like this class. Yeah,
- 33:46Speaker 1: no doubt.
- 33:47Speaker 4: Ah. But at the end of the day, it is
- 33:51Speaker 4: what it is, and uh it's it's a great honor
- 33:53Speaker 4: to be in the finals. It's a great honor to
- 33:55Speaker 4: be considered. Uh again, my my, my true, my true
- 34:00Speaker 4: elation comes from when when guys that that I Revere
- 34:04Speaker 4: is some of the best players ever, you know, tell
- 34:06Speaker 4: me I did it right, Or when I'm talking to
- 34:09Speaker 4: you know, you know, guys like you were, guys that
- 34:10Speaker 4: I played against other world linemen, my name comes up
- 34:13Speaker 4: and they just knew there was a lunch panial type
- 34:15Speaker 4: of day when they had to play me, you know.
- 34:17Speaker 4: And why I don't have regrets. I could hang my
- 34:19Speaker 4: head high. I was never cut nothing like that. So
- 34:22Speaker 4: even though I didn't win the super Bowl, got to
- 34:23Speaker 4: experience it.
- 34:24Speaker 1: It is what it is.
- 34:26Speaker 2: I'll say, do you think that do you think that's
- 34:27Speaker 2: one of the things that holds you back is not
- 34:29Speaker 2: having a Super Bowl, which I think is a very
- 34:30Speaker 2: much quarterback winning.
- 34:32Speaker 4: Because you know, in the Super Bowl we lost, I
- 34:35Speaker 4: mean we held, we held the Broncos one hundred and
- 34:36Speaker 4: eighty six so many yards.
- 34:37Speaker 3: What more can I do? And this? And that's what
- 34:39Speaker 3: they told me.
- 34:40Speaker 4: So they put a where and they said where won
- 34:41Speaker 4: the Super Bowl over you? I'm like, okay, you know,
- 34:45Speaker 4: but the next year it's like, okay, what's the excuse?
- 34:47Speaker 1: Now?
- 34:47Speaker 4: Yeah, right, what's the next excuse? And so you know
- 34:51Speaker 4: they'll probably say, sugs, sugs meat me up for Defensive Player.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Of the Year.
- 34:54Speaker 2: So don't give it to that over Oh I remember
- 34:57Speaker 2: that that was That was the year you went for
- 34:58Speaker 2: like twenty two to out, which I ain't.
- 35:00Speaker 3: What's real. I actually had twenty three.
- 35:03Speaker 4: Go back and look at I physically sacked Aaron Rodgers
- 35:05Speaker 4: for my twenty third sack, and then Wednesday they took
- 35:08Speaker 4: it away from me because they said he muffed the
- 35:10Speaker 4: ball and they gave it.
- 35:12Speaker 3: Back team sack, team sack.
- 35:15Speaker 2: I've seen two or three to lose my way for
- 35:17Speaker 2: the team sack, like I was the closest one too
- 35:19Speaker 2: when he was falling out of bounds. But team sack
- 35:23Speaker 2: or I think I stripped the ball out of out
- 35:25Speaker 2: of Brett Hunley's hands, as he was a quarterback for
- 35:28Speaker 2: the Green Bay Packers and Alex Okafor had tackled him.
- 35:32Speaker 2: But I stripped the ball, so that's a strip sack
- 35:34Speaker 2: my way. I was like, I got the fumble and
- 35:36Speaker 2: he got the sack, and I said, what the.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Fuck, it's crazy, because dude, that's not how it used
- 35:40Speaker 3: to be. I actually lost the sack in. I think
- 35:43Speaker 3: it was like oh seven, maybe no six, same thing.
- 35:48Speaker 4: I had Philip Rivers or something like that wrapped up
- 35:50Speaker 4: Tombaholey comes in and punches the ball out.
- 35:52Speaker 3: So back then, whoever forced the fumble got the full sack.
- 35:56Speaker 3: I had no joke. I have a half sack.
- 35:57Speaker 4: So I actually shot one thirty seven and it thought
- 35:59Speaker 4: phil the Monday night football game, I had four and
- 36:01Speaker 4: a half agins Aaron Rodgers. Not only did I hit
- 36:04Speaker 4: him first, I stripped the ball and Brian Robinson comes
- 36:09Speaker 4: over and and and you know it finishes it off
- 36:11Speaker 4: I and we.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Run the ball.
- 36:13Speaker 3: They give me. They gave me a half sack. I
- 36:15Speaker 3: haven't turned it in.
- 36:16Speaker 1: They're like, sorry, this makes perfect sense. How how does
- 36:20Speaker 1: this make perfect sense? It does?
- 36:21Speaker 4: And you know the muff, the muff even when the
- 36:23Speaker 4: ball used to go over the quarterback's head and they
- 36:26Speaker 4: would fall down and whoever touched him would get it, would.
- 36:28Speaker 3: Get the sack.
- 36:29Speaker 4: Right now, it's a team sack. So the one with Aaron,
- 36:32Speaker 4: he foots up in the in the pocket, he runs
- 36:34Speaker 4: in a new house, drops the ball, picks it back up,
- 36:37Speaker 4: rolls out.
- 36:38Speaker 3: He still can eligible throw the ball.
- 36:40Speaker 4: Right him with the ball, that's a sack. Nope, they
- 36:43Speaker 4: call it a They called it a muff team sack.
- 36:46Speaker 4: I'm like, but I physically tackled him, all right, He's
- 36:50Speaker 4: still gonna throw the ball. Technically I'm on the team,
- 36:52Speaker 4: so shul at least get half of that.
- 36:55Speaker 1: But don't go jeez. Is what it is, spilt milk,
- 37:00Speaker 1: I guess. But it's not.
- 37:03Speaker 4: Like you know, the gas unless you probably saw the
- 37:07Speaker 4: mare gasad Brett Favre confrontation.
- 37:09Speaker 1: You know, absolutely, I'm never gonna go that far with it.
- 37:12Speaker 3: I laugh about it is what it is.
- 37:14Speaker 4: I've gotten some stash that probably didn't deserve, you know,
- 37:16Speaker 4: or last year running out the back of the uh.
- 37:19Speaker 3: But some of but but that's what it is man,
- 37:20Speaker 3: It's it's crazy how much some of this stuff affects guys.
- 37:23Speaker 4: And then back to my whole take on the Hall
- 37:25Speaker 4: of Fame is lucky that again, I know, I know
- 37:29Speaker 4: where my identity is at right, my identities in Christ,
- 37:32Speaker 4: my family.
- 37:32Speaker 3: All that stuff.
- 37:33Speaker 4: There's dudes out there that, man, this this means the
- 37:36Speaker 4: absolute world to them, and those highs and lows can
- 37:39Speaker 4: be can be detrimental to their life.
- 37:40Speaker 3: And maybe that's not the Hall of Fame's responsibility. But
- 37:43Speaker 3: you don't have to pile on to it either.
- 37:46Speaker 1: True.
- 37:47Speaker 2: True, I mean, eventually you're gonna get in there, and
- 37:49Speaker 2: I can't not see you getting in this year like
- 37:53Speaker 2: you and you and Sizzel should definitely leave that charge.
- 37:56Speaker 3: So it'll be finner than what they're gonna do it
- 37:59Speaker 3: this year. Right, right to go back to New Orleans.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Come on in, it's gonna be it's gonna be you,
- 38:04Speaker 2: it's gonna be Terressa, it's gonna be Jarry Evans, and
- 38:08Speaker 2: then we'll figure out the rest out.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Every time I go back, you have to go to
- 38:11Speaker 3: New Orleans. I'm like, man, freaking two thousand and nine,
- 38:15Speaker 3: freak hate this place.
- 38:16Speaker 1: I had it. Come on y'all paid it back. Bike,
- 38:18Speaker 1: He's paid it back, like twice. You had a Kyle
- 38:20Speaker 1: Rudolph push off the back of the end something you
- 38:22Speaker 1: had Stephan Diggs surgeon. So being a wide receiver. Yeah,
- 38:26Speaker 1: Minnesota miracle. So that's two to one.
- 38:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:29Speaker 1: It doesn't affect me though, but it affected me, I know.
- 38:36Speaker 3: Yeah, Like I said, room lives to remind me, you
- 38:38Speaker 3: just keep my ring warm for me.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Man, that's at least. Yeah, Mike Is definitely didn't go
- 38:43Speaker 2: on to win it, so I was like, I'm cool
- 38:45Speaker 2: with it.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Fine.
- 38:45Speaker 3: Yeah. And then and then so Sean calls me Peyton
- 38:48Speaker 3: literally after the game, right he called me.
- 38:50Speaker 4: Uh so was Sunday nights, So we called me like
- 38:53Speaker 4: Monday or Tuesday, and he's like, hey, you know what
- 38:57Speaker 4: we did? Chip blocking you those wire off schemes, Like
- 38:59Speaker 4: you think that will work against s Freeny and all
- 39:00Speaker 4: those guys, blah blah blah blah. I'm like, sh You're
- 39:03Speaker 4: lucky we have friends because I want to put you
- 39:05Speaker 4: in the throat right now. But yes, do what you
- 39:07Speaker 4: did to me and you win the super Bowl and
- 39:10Speaker 4: sure not.
- 39:10Speaker 2: There they did absolutely yeah, Lee, Yeah they did. Man,
- 39:14Speaker 2: I couldn't I couldn't imagine. I've always wanted to know
- 39:16Speaker 2: what it feels like just even be on the same
- 39:17Speaker 2: field for a chance to win a Super Bowls Honors
- 39:21Speaker 2: NFC Championship, and I'm like.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Damn, that was dope. Yeah, one more game.
- 39:26Speaker 3: I almost feel like the super Bowl was was dope, right,
- 39:29Speaker 3: it was.
- 39:29Speaker 1: It was cool.
- 39:30Speaker 4: You know, you get that kind of feeling like you're there,
- 39:33Speaker 4: so a lot of the kind of excitement just kind
- 39:36Speaker 4: of dreams because you're there right right.
- 39:39Speaker 3: You know, the great teams are like, we're there to
- 39:40Speaker 3: win it.
- 39:42Speaker 4: But the NFC AFC, the two NFC Championship games have
- 39:44Speaker 4: been too I mean the one I lost obviously, when
- 39:47Speaker 4: I won, I mean, losing the NFC Championship is worse
- 39:50Speaker 4: than losing the super Bowl because at least you're there,
- 39:54Speaker 4: and the NFC Championship, you're like, hold up, I was
- 39:56Speaker 4: one game away from the super Bowl and now.
- 39:59Speaker 3: I'm twenty games away from the super Bowl again.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Just like that, and you know, sucks, yeah, or you
- 40:05Speaker 2: may not make the playoffs again, like you don't know, yeah, and.
- 40:09Speaker 3: You and you're a loyalist, man, You're stuck just sticking
- 40:12Speaker 3: with those sects.
- 40:14Speaker 1: I love them. I love them, and so they don't
- 40:17Speaker 1: love me no more. I love him. Yeah, damn yeah,
- 40:21Speaker 1: it is what it is. So I hope I hope
- 40:23Speaker 1: we get there next year.
- 40:24Speaker 2: You know.
- 40:25Speaker 3: Yeah, you guys, you know, quarterback matters.
- 40:27Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Quarterbacks do? Quarterbacks? Quarterbacks definitely do.
- 40:32Speaker 2: It'd be even greater to have them all seventeen games
- 40:35Speaker 2: now half a season and a half a season.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Yeah, you guys, you guys, you guys have been hit
- 40:40Speaker 3: by that injury bug. Huge question and what sucks.
- 40:43Speaker 4: And I was telling someone out the other day, it's like,
- 40:45Speaker 4: you know, you got you really have like these four
- 40:47Speaker 4: to five you know, year blocks, right, and the good
- 40:50Speaker 4: teams know how to you know, elongate that through draft
- 40:53Speaker 4: picks and make sure they got young guys and keeping
- 40:55Speaker 4: that and keeping a veteran culture.
- 40:57Speaker 3: But I mean, you guys got what's gosh, I just
- 41:00Speaker 3: went blank on the running backs name dude Kamara.
- 41:02Speaker 4: Yeah, stupid stupid athlete, right, I mean, dudes A but
- 41:08Speaker 4: be honest, you know, and again not you know, I
- 41:09Speaker 4: don't get to see a lot of in New Orleands games,
- 41:11Speaker 4: but I would argue, you know, in the last four
- 41:13Speaker 4: or five years, of his career have been not I
- 41:15Speaker 4: don't want to say wasted, because they've never wasted because
- 41:17Speaker 4: you're you're still bulling, but you don't say that.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what I mean, they're not capitalized upon.
- 41:21Speaker 4: They're not capitalized on, right because you're like, Okay, now,
- 41:24Speaker 4: all of a sudden, when we get when we get
- 41:26Speaker 4: by parts of this dude who's so dynamic is you know,
- 41:30Speaker 4: pushing thirty thirty one, thirty two, thirty three, and you
- 41:33Speaker 4: know we didn't capitalize.
- 41:34Speaker 3: On the years we had one of the most dynamic players.
- 41:36Speaker 1: In the game.
- 41:37Speaker 2: Yeah, but when you had paired him with the Mike
- 41:39Speaker 2: Thomas and you know, then you had paired him with
- 41:41Speaker 2: Drew Brees that last you know, in the last two years,
- 41:44Speaker 2: you're like you see everything that you can see yeaheah.
- 41:47Speaker 4: It's a I always say when when guys have a
- 41:49Speaker 4: dip or anything like that, it's usually because there's there's
- 41:51Speaker 4: a coaching or culture change and you're just not being
- 41:54Speaker 4: used in the way. But and then you're the anomaly,
- 41:56Speaker 4: right at fourteen years still out there.
- 41:58Speaker 3: Did it because people?
- 42:01Speaker 4: Yeah, but even even those educates you thinking about your defense,
- 42:03Speaker 4: Like even in Minnesota, I mean we had an insane defense,
- 42:06Speaker 4: right and you know at that, you know, we had
- 42:09Speaker 4: that four or five year stretch and then all of
- 42:11Speaker 4: a sudden, injury bugs and we weren't doing a good
- 42:12Speaker 4: job replacing guys that were getting hurt and and then
- 42:15Speaker 4: and then you kind of dip off.
- 42:16Speaker 3: But yeah, it's it's it's a it's a tough league.
- 42:19Speaker 3: And so you know, North, you guys, you guys were
- 42:22Speaker 3: that was a tough spot to be, you know, as an.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Opponent for many years facts well hopefully many more. Not
- 42:29Speaker 1: not many more, not many more, but a few more.
- 42:31Speaker 1: And like a couple, you're four years and still still
- 42:35Speaker 1: gettings of snow. God loves everybody and including me, But
- 42:39Speaker 1: uh no, we will, we will see.
- 42:41Speaker 2: You know now, I look at guys like Kalays Campbell
- 42:43Speaker 2: and I'm like, huh, seventeen eighteen, that's a that's a
- 42:48Speaker 2: whole nother room.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, fifteen is doable. I like fifteen and then
- 42:52Speaker 1: we'll talk about sixteen.
- 42:53Speaker 3: Good number.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Yeah, After fifteen, I have to I have to talk
- 42:56Speaker 2: to the family, like I've never had an answer to anybody.
- 43:00Speaker 2: And I was like, yeah, I'm going to fifteen, and
- 43:01Speaker 2: nobody's ever pushed back after fifteen.
- 43:04Speaker 1: I'm there's gonna be some pushback, you.
- 43:05Speaker 4: Said, absolutely once we get to the you said, yeah
- 43:11Speaker 4: about you though, now yeah comfortable?
- 43:14Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely.
- 43:15Speaker 2: But anyways, I appreciate you tapping in with the podcast,
- 43:17Speaker 2: but I've kept you here for almost hour.

- 43:24Speaker 3: I appreciate it.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Which means I'll see you down here in New Orleans
- 43:26Speaker 1: because you know I'll be here.
- 43:28Speaker 3: I'll be working care of Beau.
- 43:29Speaker 1: That could be.
- 43:29Speaker 3: I don't have a lot of fans in New Orleans.
- 43:31Speaker 3: I have said some very bad things about New Orleans.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Come on, I've had a good time and I've had
- 43:35Speaker 1: good times in Atlanta, and I know they hate me,
- 43:36Speaker 1: so you'll be just fuing here.
- 43:38Speaker 2: You know, as bad as you talked about them, they
- 43:40Speaker 2: still want a super Bowl, so they don't hold in
- 43:42Speaker 2: true true true.
- 43:43Speaker 3: Actually, thanks, thank you. Yeah, I appreciate it.
- 43:47Speaker 1: That part. Hey, I appreciate you, Brosky yea.

- 43:57Speaker 1: more of a tequila guy than beer guy.
