- 0:32Speaker 1: How was your sleep?
- 0:34Speaker 3: I'll talk about that in the show.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Yeah, And I've had to was because Keasy walked past
- 0:39Speaker 2: me and I smelt the waft instant coffee.
- 0:43Speaker 3: And I was like, actually, that smells quite good.
- 0:47Speaker 2: So I've made myself an instant coffee and I know
- 0:51Speaker 2: one hundred percent that at two o'clock this morning, I'm
- 0:56Speaker 2: going to be.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Fumian tomorrow morning.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Tomorrow morning.
- 0:58Speaker 4: Are you be happy to know? This is a an
- 1:00Speaker 4: instant coffee? By the way, it's out of my coffee machine.
- 1:02Speaker 1: He doesn't do that. It's upgraded. I've got to have
- 1:04Speaker 1: an instant coffee because they haven't everyone for years. But
- 1:06Speaker 1: I steered down my significant snout at it, you know
- 1:10Speaker 1: what I mean?
- 1:11Speaker 4: Yes, Yeah, I still like them.
- 1:15Speaker 2: We had a situation because our coffee machine's being fixed
- 1:18Speaker 2: at the moment and our new kitchen arrangement is a
- 1:22Speaker 2: gas bastard and there is a gas and they're all
- 1:29Speaker 2: huge elements, and so we're doing the stovetop and it's like,
- 1:32Speaker 2: oh funk, that's not gonna work.
- 1:33Speaker 3: It's going to burn the ship out of the handle.
- 1:36Speaker 4: So you've got a gas on.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Yeah, the gas is on. Everything's on fellows part on
- 1:40Speaker 2: the TV. And we didn't have our skybox. But then
- 1:43Speaker 2: I was sitting there this morning thinking about that canundrum,
- 1:46Speaker 2: and I figured out a way to do it, and
- 1:47Speaker 2: she works beautiful.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Did you put a hot plate on it?
- 1:50Speaker 3: No, we don't have a hot plate.
- 1:52Speaker 5: Usually they have like the big because it has got
- 1:54Speaker 5: the iron irons.
- 1:56Speaker 4: Yes, Usually there's like another thing that you put on
- 1:58Speaker 4: top of the center.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Yeah, we can't find one of those.
- 2:01Speaker 1: What did you What was your work around?
- 2:03Speaker 2: My workaround was just putting it to the side slightly
- 2:06Speaker 2: on the out and it worked.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Wait, do you know I love those stovetops. That's what
- 2:11Speaker 1: we've got. I've also got a proper rocket coffee machine,
- 2:14Speaker 1: so a proper proper one. Yes, And in the missus
- 2:17Speaker 1: like do you want me to make one of these?
- 2:19Speaker 1: I'm like no, I like I love the stovetop.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Man they're really good.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I mean, and this is a little bit because I
- 2:27Speaker 2: usually have your flat white from our machine, but I've
- 2:31Speaker 2: been having the stovetop with just a dollop of cream.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Oh l as as my wife that it's a lot smaller,
- 2:38Speaker 2: a lot less smelt, and it just gives you that
- 2:40Speaker 2: to do.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I like it.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I'm sort of I'd be kind of happy
- 2:46Speaker 2: not having a stovetop, I mean a machine.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Oh case, he's he's doing his DeLong e yes partnership.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Of course, I haven't bread have a bread Pet doing those,
- 2:58Speaker 1: so having bread Pet are doing the same sponsorship. How
- 3:01Speaker 1: about that.
- 3:02Speaker 5: I haven't uploaded a single reel yet because it takes
- 3:04Speaker 5: them forever to get back to us. It's been over
- 3:06Speaker 5: a year now, it's still not and I have approasted
- 3:09Speaker 5: a single reel because I'm waiting for them to It's
- 3:12Speaker 5: a fucking good reel thing.
- 3:13Speaker 1: It's a good deal, man.
- 3:14Speaker 5: It's so because I've yeah, I've got a coffee shit,
- 3:16Speaker 5: I've been using the ass off it and I've filmed
- 3:18Speaker 5: a reel and cut it and I'm just like cool, man,
- 3:21Speaker 5: upload what if you guys want?
- 3:22Speaker 4: Oh my god, it's really bizarre.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Yeah, so they was the deal. They gave you a
- 3:27Speaker 3: really flash machine and.
- 3:29Speaker 5: Pay me consider a certain number of reels using the machine.
- 3:33Speaker 5: That's how it works.
- 3:34Speaker 3: I just shattered. If I were you keasy and get
- 3:36Speaker 3: on with your life, you.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Know what I mean? Well, I mean I am.
- 3:39Speaker 5: I'm drinking coffee and put the money in the bank
- 3:42Speaker 5: and go okay, I haven't gone the money because I
- 3:44Speaker 5: haven't uploaded the reel.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Yeah okay, but you've got the machine, the machine. Yeah,
- 3:48Speaker 3: that's something.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I didn't want the money. I didn't want to cash.
- 3:52Speaker 3: You want a cashy.
- 3:53Speaker 4: I was happy without a machine.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Yeah, but now you've got the machine, you're happy.
- 3:56Speaker 3: You love the machine? You were talking about at our
- 3:58Speaker 3: last golf outing. It was I and it's what would
- 4:01Speaker 3: you like this? The usual keys?
- 4:03Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it does do that.
- 4:05Speaker 4: It goes, it goes. It's it's breakfast time. Do you
- 4:08Speaker 4: want your usual?
- 4:09Speaker 1: It talks to you, no words on the sun. Ah, yeah,
- 4:12Speaker 1: that's right. I don't like these fucking robots talking to
- 4:15Speaker 1: me at all. It just it just is that's good
- 4:17Speaker 1: on the screen. I like that.
- 4:18Speaker 4: It's just like, do you want your usual? It's breakfast time?
- 4:20Speaker 5: And I go yes, because I've set it up and
- 4:23Speaker 5: then it's like, oh, it's lunchtime, do you want your usual?
- 4:24Speaker 5: What's for some reason to sit to a nice coffee
- 4:26Speaker 5: because my wife had one?
- 4:27Speaker 1: Oh really?
- 4:28Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 4:30Speaker 1: Yeam The whole.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Archy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hurarchy.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Remember the Warchy Big Show.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Podcast attending for the weekend. Feelers excited about this all
- 4:43Speaker 1: the long weekend.
- 4:44Speaker 3: It's great, isn't it?
- 4:45Speaker 1: And it might even be sunny.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Well, we're still sort of black, we're sort of clean
- 4:51Speaker 2: out our house and ship. Man. But I said to
- 4:54Speaker 2: my wife tomorrow, fuck that, we're just having having a
- 4:59Speaker 2: day off all of this ship.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I think it's a nice sunny day tomorrow too.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and just wandering around this morning just loving it,
- 5:05Speaker 2: And I just went, fuck you, man, let's let's do it.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Let's forget it tomorrow and then get back.
- 5:10Speaker 1: To the ship. Are you happy with your move? Yeah?
- 5:12Speaker 2: Man, it's also I'm tired. I'm just really tired today.
- 5:16Speaker 2: But it's fucking great.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:18Speaker 3: I mean, my daughter's already had a run in with
- 5:20Speaker 3: the fucking oldies.
- 5:21Speaker 1: But ay is she one of the locals. She I'll
- 5:25Speaker 1: tell you what a really lessen twenty four hours.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Well, it wasn't really I'm being a bit of a
- 5:33Speaker 2: dad about it. But it's really interesting the people that
- 5:36Speaker 2: live there that I've met thus far.
- 5:39Speaker 3: It's going to be interesting, right.
- 5:41Speaker 4: So the neighbors aren't very nice.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Oh no, they're bloody.
- 5:46Speaker 3: They're well to do.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Yeah, it was like that we had an apartment and
- 5:53Speaker 1: and we bought it, and it was an office. So
- 5:56Speaker 1: they built these They built these apartments over there behind
- 5:59Speaker 1: the train station before the translation was there, possibly, but
- 6:02Speaker 1: they are these big sort of parks. They're all on
- 6:05Speaker 1: a body corp and their flash yes, and these they
- 6:09Speaker 1: built these buildings and on the ground floor they had
- 6:12Speaker 1: offices an office on either side of the four year
- 6:16Speaker 1: and that was where the builders operated and they would
- 6:19Speaker 1: bring in people and then show them around and sell
- 6:23Speaker 1: sell all these apartments out of these offices. And then
- 6:25Speaker 1: at the end of it they were stuck with two offices.
- 6:28Speaker 1: So we bought one of the offices and we converted it.
- 6:30Speaker 1: This is like ten years or so ago. We converted
- 6:33Speaker 1: it into an apartment and we're able to buy it.
- 6:38Speaker 1: We bought it, and then we found out a year
- 6:40Speaker 1: or so later after we converted it that everybody in
- 6:42Speaker 1: the building, the body Cort went to the council and
- 6:45Speaker 1: tried to have it so that we couldn't convert that
- 6:48Speaker 1: apartment into a living Why because they didn't want anybody
- 6:52Speaker 1: living there, because I was so used to it just
- 6:53Speaker 1: been offices that sat empty. They didn't want to then
- 6:56Speaker 1: have to come through the four year where people were living,
- 6:58Speaker 1: so they didn't object to us buying in the first place.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Knowing that we were going to convert it. They waited
- 7:03Speaker 1: until we spent our money and then tried to fuck
- 7:05Speaker 1: us so that we would have been We would have
- 7:07Speaker 1: been fucked. All of our money had gone into it,
- 7:10Speaker 1: and we would potentially not have been able to convert it,
- 7:13Speaker 1: and then we would have had an office in the
- 7:15Speaker 1: bottom of an apartment building with a camp and they
- 7:19Speaker 1: but super super wealthy. Yes, remu Era classic fuck with
- 7:28Speaker 1: the lowest of the low, the worst of people, absolute
- 7:31Speaker 1: worst of people.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Well, I've only I've met a few other and most.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Of them have been lovely and they're funny something else
- 7:38Speaker 1: because they live on another planet.
- 7:40Speaker 2: I got on the left to a and there was
- 7:42Speaker 2: a fellow there, a mature a fella wearing his towel.
- 7:47Speaker 2: So it's obviously just been for a swim and I
- 7:50Speaker 2: said to him, good swim, was it, mate?
- 7:53Speaker 3: And he went not bad? And I went, that's the stuff.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Dry balls. But it's like I was small talk.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'm also really aware of I mean, you're
- 8:12Speaker 2: talking about transplants from deep west Auckland, you know what
- 8:17Speaker 2: I'm saying.
- 8:18Speaker 3: And there's been a few sideways glances, I can tell you.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Not at my wife. She's great.
- 8:24Speaker 4: She fits in. Do you reckon it was I fit in?
- 8:27Speaker 4: Were you wearing a Reburger hat?
- 8:29Speaker 5: No?
- 8:29Speaker 3: I wasn't wearing any hat?
- 8:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, right, soon enough, you'll be coming in here.
- 8:34Speaker 1: We're in a fucking top hit.
- 8:37Speaker 3: And a monocle.
- 8:39Speaker 5: I think you've got to start having some stories about
- 8:41Speaker 5: your neighbors and your building.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I will show. I'm just I'm a bit
- 8:44Speaker 3: sort of.
- 8:46Speaker 5: Yeah. Well the good news about that client tell by
- 8:49Speaker 5: the sounds of it, your neighbors definitely won't listen to
- 8:51Speaker 5: this station.
- 8:52Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 8:53Speaker 4: No, this will be below.
- 8:54Speaker 2: And it was so funny, you know, because the carpets
- 8:56Speaker 2: are very plush going to the apartments, and how the
- 8:59Speaker 2: movers did all their ship and they left a bit
- 9:02Speaker 2: of you know, bits and pieces on the carpet and stuff,
- 9:05Speaker 2: and I went, oh, fuck, we didn't bring out vacuum cleaner.
- 9:08Speaker 3: So I was walking on the carpet plucking up bits
- 9:10Speaker 3: of fluff. But it's like but then they then they vacuumed,
- 9:16Speaker 3: and it was like, I knew I should have vacuumed.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Do you have to vacuum the area?
- 9:21Speaker 1: No? Wow, if you make a mess, you clean that. Yes.
- 9:24Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not like you have to have a turn
- 9:26Speaker 4: vacuum in the hallway.
- 9:27Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 9:29Speaker 1: But actually what.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Actually happened was they put in the left covers. They said,
- 9:34Speaker 2: do you want left covers? I mean, yeah, that'd be great.
- 9:37Speaker 2: They just put covers on the left so that they
- 9:39Speaker 2: don't And then my daughter was in the left and
- 9:46Speaker 2: the woman said to her, are you the new neighbors
- 9:50Speaker 2: And she said yes, And she said, well you you
- 9:54Speaker 2: guys need to take these left covers down and take
- 9:56Speaker 2: them and put them away.
- 9:58Speaker 3: And she was like, oh, do we.
- 10:01Speaker 2: And she was like, yes, you take them up to
- 10:03Speaker 2: the fifth floor and and my daughter went, oh, okay.
- 10:08Speaker 2: And then this woman whispered to the other one in
- 10:11Speaker 2: the left, these are the new neighbors, and my daughter said.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Yes, that's who we are, and I said, now lesser.
- 10:22Speaker 1: There's there's good stuff from here. That's good stuff from here.
- 10:27Speaker 2: But then my wife went in because there was no
- 10:29Speaker 2: mention of that about you've got to pack up the
- 10:33Speaker 2: left stuff because no one's mentioned that to us.
- 10:35Speaker 3: We didn't know anything about.
- 10:36Speaker 4: It, and just the am assuming you should know. It
- 10:38Speaker 4: goes on the fifth floor and you have to pack
- 10:39Speaker 4: it up.
- 10:39Speaker 2: And then my wife did it and she was like,
- 10:41Speaker 2: and our neighbor said, oh, you got to take it
- 10:43Speaker 2: up to the fifth floor and put them away.
- 10:45Speaker 3: And so she went up to the fifth floor and
- 10:46Speaker 3: went put them away.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Weird, Right where do I put them away? And so
- 10:50Speaker 2: that she went back to the neigh and she said, oh,
- 10:52Speaker 2: help you and went up with her and said they
- 10:54Speaker 2: go over there, and she was like, oh, okay, thank you.
- 10:57Speaker 3: But it was just one of those weird.
- 11:00Speaker 1: And that's all you need to But it's nice having
- 11:04Speaker 1: those little adventures as well. Every day you come and
- 11:07Speaker 1: you go here we go. That's fun with George. That's
- 11:12Speaker 1: so they're just so unfriendly it's unreal miserable. And then
- 11:17Speaker 1: on the other side of the way, you have fun
- 11:19Speaker 1: with that, Jason, everyone I will.
- 11:23Speaker 2: On the other side of that deep Central Auckland dish,
- 11:28Speaker 2: going on, what do you mean? There's brawls and really yeah,
- 11:32Speaker 2: And then I go back into my air conditioned laugh
- 11:38Speaker 2: and I look out over them and I go, how
- 11:42Speaker 2: many stories is sex? I think top nowhere too. It's
- 11:47Speaker 2: just good, especially when you're carting ship around to.
- 11:51Speaker 4: Hey, listen to the Big Show four or seven weekdays radio.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Heard you
