- 0:06Speaker 1: I told you I would do it, and Angie, I did.
- 0:09Speaker 1: July fourth coming up, which is one of my top
- 0:13Speaker 1: three favorite holidays of the entire year, this one, this
- 0:17Speaker 1: one obviously being a pretty big one.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Yeah, two hundred fifty years of America, that's right.
- 0:23Speaker 1: And I wanted to celebrate in a way that I
- 0:26Speaker 1: have never celebrated before. And there's a reason why July fourth,
- 0:30Speaker 1: Saint Patrick's Day, and my birthday are the three best
- 0:34Speaker 1: holidays of the year. Why every single one of those days,
- 0:39Speaker 1: Your birthday, Saint Patrick's Day, July fourth, you can wake up,
- 0:43Speaker 1: go on out to your porch and skip the morning coffee.
- 0:47Speaker 1: You can crack open a nice bush light and no
- 0:49Speaker 1: one will judge it for it on those three days. Okay,
- 0:52Speaker 1: all right, So I wanted to celebrate a little bit
- 0:55Speaker 1: differently this year, and which I was already in the
- 0:58Speaker 1: spirit this past weekend.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Rangely enough, I'm upset with you because you chose to
- 1:04Speaker 2: celebrate in a way to spite me.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Is what it is. I talked earlier last week.
- 1:10Speaker 2: I said, I don't believe in overalls as a fashion choice.
- 1:15Speaker 2: I don't think that you should wear them for fashion purposes.
- 1:18Speaker 2: And whilst I was literally saying this on air.
- 1:23Speaker 3: You busted out.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Your phone and purchased a pair of overalls to annoy me,
- 1:31Speaker 2: and then they were patriotic overalls.
- 1:33Speaker 3: They're American flag overalls.
- 1:36Speaker 1: And they're shorts. They're not even there.
- 1:41Speaker 3: And they're shorts. You can look at this.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Monstrosity on our Facebook page, Big ninety eight point seven,
- 1:47Speaker 2: be sure to follow us. I hate them, and I
- 1:51Speaker 2: think I'm more upset that everybody was in the comments
- 1:55Speaker 2: like glazing you saying that they were so great.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Well, when you when you got that aura, you know,
- 2:02Speaker 1: you get away with you get away with things. Here,
- 2:05Speaker 1: I will say, these are coming to work on Thursday,
- 2:08Speaker 1: so you're gonna get to see these bad boys live
- 2:12Speaker 1: in the flesh on Thursday as we get ready to
- 2:15Speaker 1: celebrate America all week.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Okay, but we're also getting ready to celebrate Angie. My
- 2:20Speaker 2: birthday is on Friday, but we have it off for
- 2:22Speaker 2: the fourth and you're gonna come to work in the
- 2:25Speaker 2: thing I hate most.
- 2:27Speaker 1: On Thursday, bet i am. I will say, I do
- 2:31Speaker 1: want to start a little pole here. I did try
- 2:33Speaker 1: to start a little pole at work and it didn't
- 2:35Speaker 1: seem to go in my favor. Okay, all right. You
- 2:38Speaker 1: can see in this video, I'm in the comfortability of
- 2:41Speaker 1: my own home. I'm around my best friend and my
- 2:43Speaker 1: wife and my dog and my cats. They don't care
- 2:46Speaker 1: if I have a shirt on under these overalls. Do
- 2:50Speaker 1: I need to wear a shirt on Thursday? Under my overalls?
- 2:53Speaker 3: I feel like.
- 2:54Speaker 2: If enough people like text us or dm us seven one,
- 2:59Speaker 2: eight oh one nine eight, and I'd get up. Yeah,
- 3:02Speaker 2: you could get away with it no shirt, But only
- 3:04Speaker 2: if that's what the people want.
- 3:05Speaker 4: That's right.
- 3:06Speaker 1: So how annoyed can we make Angie on Thursday? Text
- 3:10Speaker 1: us at seven oh one two eight zero one nine
- 3:13Speaker 1: eight seven and go check out this video because every
- 3:16Speaker 1: time I see it makes me laugh for various reasons. Obviously,
- 3:20Speaker 1: I look ridiculous. That's number one. Number two. The door
- 3:24Speaker 1: is like cracked open. I didn't shut it all the way.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:27Speaker 1: As I was going to grill some burgers for my
- 3:29Speaker 1: buddy and my wife this weekend, and as I start
- 3:33Speaker 1: singing a very patriotic God Bless America song, my cat
- 3:37Speaker 1: like tries to stick its head out the window, and
- 3:39Speaker 1: I swear I can hear him in his head going,
- 3:43Speaker 1: what the heck is this guy doing?
- 3:45Speaker 4: Me?
- 3:46Speaker 3: And your cat cut from the same court, right.
- 3:48Speaker 1: And then my dog is just living her best life.
- 3:52Speaker 1: She couldn't care less. She's just like, hey, dude, throw
- 3:54Speaker 1: the ball, you know. So there are definitely layers to
- 3:57Speaker 1: that video that do make me laugh. But I probably
- 4:01Speaker 1: due to HR would have.
- 4:02Speaker 4: To wear a shirt.
- 4:03Speaker 1: But if the people want it, yeah, we go on
- 4:05Speaker 1: shirtless that day, all right? Seven oh one two eight
- 4:08Speaker 1: zero one nine eight seven. Text us, Do you think
- 4:10Speaker 1: I go full blown no shirt suspender or no shirt
- 4:15Speaker 1: overalls on Thursday to celebrate the love of this country
- 4:18Speaker 1: and Angie's birthday?
- 4:20Speaker 4: Or do I gotta wear a white T shirt under that.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I've never been less excited to go to work, I'll
- 4:25Speaker 2: tell you that right.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Now, celebrating life's little victories victory every morning we practice
- 4:34Speaker 5: gratitude on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 4:36Speaker 6: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 4:38Speaker 6: plastic job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 4:42Speaker 7: I just really needed to win, you know, sure your
- 4:44Speaker 7: little victories with us at seven oh one two one
- 4:48Speaker 7: eight seven, Angie, do you have a little victory other
- 4:52Speaker 7: than I have made my return.
- 4:54Speaker 3: To you That wasn't even on the list?
- 4:57Speaker 4: No, that is just me.
- 4:58Speaker 3: I'm just I am happy that you're back.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I'm gonna run throughm quick because I feel like so
- 5:03Speaker 2: many victorious things happened over the weekend.
- 5:07Speaker 4: I was gone shot yeah.
- 5:08Speaker 2: No Number one though, Mikey, the love of my life.
- 5:15Speaker 2: He retired from teaching so he could move out here
- 5:18Speaker 2: to be with me, which is very kind and I
- 5:21Speaker 2: love him, but he does not like being retired. He
- 5:24Speaker 2: wanted to get back into teaching, and he got a
- 5:28Speaker 2: call on Friday, and this fall he will be a
- 5:31Speaker 2: fifth grade teacher at Roosevelt Elementary's right.
- 5:35Speaker 1: I was actually standing right next to him when he
- 5:38Speaker 1: received that call, which is oh.
- 5:39Speaker 2: When I went to like, send you a message later
- 5:42Speaker 2: and you're like, I've been known about that, I.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Was right next to you.
- 5:48Speaker 2: I love that, so that was exciting. And then I
- 5:51Speaker 2: got word from in a different life. I am an actor,
- 5:56Speaker 2: like I love to act. I really thought at some
- 5:59Speaker 2: point I would make be a movie star.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Incorrect.
- 6:02Speaker 2: However, I have done a lot of short films throughout
- 6:05Speaker 2: the years that have been like official selections at film festivals,
- 6:09Speaker 2: and then one that even won an award, and I
- 6:12Speaker 2: got word from my director that two of the short
- 6:16Speaker 2: films we did are going to be featured in this
- 6:19Speaker 2: special showcase at the Damn Short Film Festival in November.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Oh that's very cool.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Yes, I'm really excited.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Congratulations to Angie.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 6:30Speaker 2: And then the last one is and this one is
- 6:33Speaker 2: probably the biggest one of all. Yesterday I told the kids,
- 6:38Speaker 2: all right, we're cleaning the entire house today, and they
- 6:42Speaker 2: didn't complain.
- 6:42Speaker 3: They just did it.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Oh that's probably just beautiful. That's almost just a tear
- 6:47Speaker 1: jerker right there.
- 6:48Speaker 3: So good. I mean I took them to Sweet Shots
- 6:50Speaker 3: after because I was.
- 6:50Speaker 4: So impressed right right on. Well, that is wonderful. Congratulations
- 6:55Speaker 4: think you.
- 6:55Speaker 3: What about you, Gabe. I know you had a great weekend.
- 6:58Speaker 3: You're a friend in town.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Your victories I did.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I had my buddy Tony come to visit so Little Victories.
- 7:05Speaker 1: We were at Unhinged together and he played his role
- 7:08Speaker 1: of assistant wonderfully.
- 7:10Speaker 4: That was great.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Friday, I used my first PTO day of the entire year.
- 7:16Speaker 1: That's crazy, so six almost seven months before I used
- 7:20Speaker 1: one vacation day.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I used my vacation at the beginning of the year.
- 7:25Speaker 4: Literally on Friday.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Well, you know, I'm just kind of bank rolling in
- 7:28Speaker 1: my I spouse for baby g coming out.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:30Speaker 1: But uh so I got to go play golf with Mikey,
- 7:34Speaker 1: your man's, my buddy Tony and these two random guys
- 7:37Speaker 1: who were just the coolest dudes ever. We were all
- 7:41Speaker 1: like kind of good but not great golfers, you know,
- 7:44Speaker 1: everybody who played, all five of us, and it was
- 7:47Speaker 1: just so fun. The vibes were high. Everyone was having
- 7:49Speaker 1: a blast. It was a great time. I played pretty well,
- 7:52Speaker 1: Mikey played pretty well. Tony played pretty well.
- 7:55Speaker 2: All that you had excellent day of golf. He was like,
- 7:59Speaker 2: I'm not gonna Gabe was really hit some pitch shot.
- 8:03Speaker 4: I was dialed in pretty well. So that was a
- 8:05Speaker 4: ton of fun.
- 8:06Speaker 1: And then on Saturday, Tony, my wife, myself, and my
- 8:09Speaker 1: dog Wanona went to brew Halla just because Tony wanted
- 8:13Speaker 1: to get do a little tour of Fargo. So we
- 8:15Speaker 1: took him like by NDSU campus to the Fargo Dome,
- 8:19Speaker 1: like driving through campus, remember that road.
- 8:21Speaker 4: We kind of didn't mean.
- 8:22Speaker 1: To turn on what we did, and we got to
- 8:24Speaker 1: drive through campus. We got to drive past the banana
- 8:27Speaker 1: ball that was going on this weekend. Yeah, and then
- 8:30Speaker 1: we took him to brew Halla and my dog happened
- 8:33Speaker 1: to just be We go into the brewery and there
- 8:36Speaker 1: was it was, you know, kind of busy in there.
- 8:38Speaker 1: When you have a dog, you're trying to kind of
- 8:40Speaker 1: stay out of everyone's way. Yeah, and so we were
- 8:42Speaker 1: kind of by the door, and she happened to become
- 8:46Speaker 1: like the mascot of brew Halla as she just greeted
- 8:49Speaker 1: every single person and said goodbye to every single person
- 8:53Speaker 1: who walked out of and she ate it up.
- 8:57Speaker 4: She was the star of the brewery that day. It
- 9:00Speaker 4: was really pretty funny.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Baby g is gonna be here any day now.
- 9:05Speaker 2: It feels like pretty much Winona all the fun Okay.
- 9:09Speaker 4: Yes, And it was just an overall great weekend.
- 9:12Speaker 1: And I know you haven't watched the episode, so I'm
- 9:13Speaker 1: not gonna spoil it, Okay, but I did. I did
- 9:17Speaker 1: stay up and watch House of the Dragon. I am
- 9:19Speaker 1: not kidding you. It might be the best episode of
- 9:22Speaker 1: all of the series so far. It might be my
- 9:27Speaker 1: favorite episode of the entire series. So I will not
- 9:30Speaker 1: say anything more than that because I don't want to
- 9:32Speaker 1: root it for Angie and we gotta do tea coming up. Yeah.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I could talk about this past weekend for hours because
- 9:38Speaker 1: it was so much fun. Now in theory, basically any
- 9:47Speaker 1: day baby g could arrive on this earth, which is exciting,
- 9:52Speaker 1: r terrifying.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Yes, And also you never you just never know.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Right when we went to our last appointment check in appointment,
- 10:01Speaker 1: one of the things that the lady had mentioned the
- 10:04Speaker 1: doctor excuse me, She had said, you know, just plan
- 10:09Speaker 1: on being pregnant the whole time, because if you're like
- 10:12Speaker 1: gearing up and ready for it, the last couple of
- 10:14Speaker 1: weeks or week or whatever is going to feel like
- 10:17Speaker 1: eight months of pregnancy. So but we are excited and
- 10:22Speaker 1: ready to rock and roll. And I'm sure Corey is
- 10:24Speaker 1: ready to be done being pregnant. I know she's mentioned
- 10:26Speaker 1: that a couple of times. Now I have a little
- 10:29Speaker 1: bit to go. I think before I really got to
- 10:31Speaker 1: worry about screen time, we got to worry about, hey,
- 10:33Speaker 1: can you sleep through the night?
- 10:34Speaker 4: One time? For me?
- 10:36Speaker 1: But I know screen time for a lot of moms
- 10:39Speaker 1: and dads and parents in general, it's kind of tough
- 10:42Speaker 1: to navigate. And there is this mother who was featured
- 10:45Speaker 1: in People magazine and she said one simple change helped
- 10:48Speaker 1: her reconnect with her kids, putting down her phone as
- 10:52Speaker 1: well as you know, taking away the tablets and the
- 10:53Speaker 1: phones from the kiddos as well, and then picking up
- 10:57Speaker 1: creative project projects instead. She building playhouses, crafting with her
- 11:02Speaker 1: children and say, and she said, uh, spending time together
- 11:05Speaker 1: creating stuff actually strengthen their bond and helped bring out
- 11:09Speaker 1: her own inner child. So this is kind of, uh,
- 11:12Speaker 1: just a question for you. What do you do to
- 11:14Speaker 1: try and limit the screen time? Seven oh one two
- 11:17Speaker 1: eight zero one nine eight seven. And I will say,
- 11:21Speaker 1: I think Angie and her family is wonderful at this.
- 11:24Speaker 1: You guys are always outside doing something all the time.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Gabe, thank you for saying that.
- 11:29Speaker 2: This lady who she said that she puts down her
- 11:32Speaker 2: phone honestly modeling the behavior I think really is a
- 11:37Speaker 2: game changer because I would tell the kids like, okay,
- 11:41Speaker 2: you know, not that they don't have tablets and only
- 11:43Speaker 2: Aiden has a phone, but they tend to get on
- 11:47Speaker 2: video games a bit sure, and so I'm like, okay, no,
- 11:50Speaker 2: it's time to get off the video game.
- 11:52Speaker 3: And then it's like, but you're on your phone.
- 11:55Speaker 4: Gosh, ding it there right, hate a smart kid.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Yeah, So that is something that I make a concerted
- 12:00Speaker 2: effort to put down my phone so that then it's
- 12:05Speaker 2: really easy to go. We'll do as I say, not
- 12:07Speaker 2: as I do, and then the kids think why though,
- 12:10Speaker 2: that's not fair. So yeah, modeling the behavior that is
- 12:13Speaker 2: actually a game changer, and that I think.
- 12:15Speaker 3: That's it's good.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Mikey's also, since Mikey's got to come into the picture. Yeah,
- 12:22Speaker 2: he's really a hands on guy. He likes to fix things,
- 12:25Speaker 2: build big crafty.
- 12:26Speaker 3: He's crafty.
- 12:27Speaker 2: He's like science minded, so like science experiments all the things.
- 12:32Speaker 2: And so it's become easier to put the screens down
- 12:37Speaker 2: and whatever when we've filled it with other things like yeah,
- 12:42Speaker 2: because well I'm put my phone down.
- 12:44Speaker 3: The screens are a way then what you know what
- 12:46Speaker 3: I mean?
- 12:46Speaker 2: So you got to do your research and get things
- 12:49Speaker 2: in place right so that when you say, well stop
- 12:53Speaker 2: playing video games, okay, then what are we gonna do instead?
- 12:56Speaker 3: And if you have an answer at the ready, that's helpful.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Yeah, because you got have like built rockets. You guys
- 13:01Speaker 1: are playing, Yeah, you guys are playing frisbee all the time.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true.
- 13:06Speaker 2: We play in person like real life prices, right, we
- 13:10Speaker 2: do right, like after we go grocery shopping.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Which is very stupid.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Liam, your eight year old.
- 13:16Speaker 1: He I can't remember if this was on Big ninety
- 13:19Speaker 1: eight point seven social media or your personal one, but
- 13:21Speaker 1: you guys just went on.
- 13:23Speaker 4: Really when you all break it down to it, it's
- 13:25Speaker 4: just a walk.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Yeah, but Liam had his Zelda sword and you almost
- 13:30Speaker 1: turned it into like the Adventure of Zelda in real life,
- 13:32Speaker 1: which I thought is really cool. Something to make this
- 13:36Speaker 1: one point three mile walk not sound like a one
- 13:39Speaker 1: point three mile walk.
- 13:40Speaker 4: I think that's pretty cool.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Yeah. I think it's especially hard in the summer.
- 13:44Speaker 2: It's especially hard because you don't want your kids to
- 13:47Speaker 2: not be doing anything, but it's very easy to fill
- 13:49Speaker 2: that with screen time.
- 13:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:51Speaker 1: So seven oh one two eight zero one eight seven.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Is there something you do at your house to just
- 13:57Speaker 1: try to limit the screen time?
- 13:59Speaker 4: And we do have Nicole Nicole, what do you guys do?
- 14:01Speaker 2: We having boredom basket that filled with legos, powdering books, puzzles,
- 14:06Speaker 2: and crafts supplies and they can pick anything from it
- 14:09Speaker 2: before asking for a screen.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I actually really liked the title of that, A boredom
- 14:13Speaker 1: with a basket.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Because that's I think I'm going to steal that.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Yeah, that's really what you're trying to combat, right, it's
- 14:18Speaker 1: just kids being bored And what's the cheapest, easiest, fastest
- 14:21Speaker 1: way of entertainment YouTube or Fortnite or whatever.
- 14:26Speaker 3: So easy to just jump on a screen. I like
- 14:28Speaker 3: the boredom basket. You know, I'm a sucker for a literation.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Boredom Basket's pretty good. And what about you, Jacob, what
- 14:34Speaker 1: do you guys do at your house?
- 14:35Speaker 6: We take away their screens and give them the option
- 14:37Speaker 6: of playing with one of the other million toys that
- 14:40Speaker 6: they have.
- 14:41Speaker 7: That's the rule.
- 14:42Speaker 6: I mean, play with something else for a change.
- 14:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:44Speaker 1: That's such a parent thing right there. It's like we
- 14:46Speaker 1: that's a daddu Yeah. You get so many toys for
- 14:49Speaker 1: Christmas or your birthday and then you like them for
- 14:52Speaker 1: twelve minutes and then you're off to the new thing.
- 14:54Speaker 2: I quite literally have prohibited people from getting my kids
- 14:58Speaker 2: toys for.
- 14:58Speaker 4: Really just saying out with eight and.
- 15:00Speaker 2: He doesn't really ask for toy he's fifteen, but it's like, no,
- 15:04Speaker 2: send him a card, yeah right, yeah.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Put like a twenty dollars visa card in there or something.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Let him pick out the next toy.
- 15:13Speaker 6: This is am I the problem.
- 15:15Speaker 3: It's me Hi on the problem.
- 15:19Speaker 1: It's me.
- 15:20Speaker 6: We'll hear one side of the story and with your help,
- 15:24Speaker 6: decide if it's right or if maybe.
- 15:27Speaker 4: You're the problem. That's right, I am the problem.
- 15:30Speaker 6: On Big ninety eight point seven.
- 15:34Speaker 2: We got a DM from Colliente. Hi, guys, this is Colliente. Yes,
- 15:41Speaker 2: it's my actual name. I was named after my grandfather.
- 15:44Speaker 2: People always get so hung up on my name that
- 15:46Speaker 2: I feel like they don't take me seriously. It means
- 15:49Speaker 2: hot in Spanish, which basically everyone knows whether they speak
- 15:53Speaker 2: Spanish or not, and it's a big distraction. I'm twenty
- 15:56Speaker 2: six years old and pursuing a career in finance. I
- 15:59Speaker 2: go to a lot of meetings, so not only am
- 16:02Speaker 2: I young, but then I tell investors my name and
- 16:05Speaker 2: the whole.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Thing gets derailed.
- 16:07Speaker 2: One of my bosses mentioned to me that I should
- 16:09Speaker 2: probably introduce myself by my middle name until I'm more
- 16:13Speaker 2: established in my field. I've been introducing myself lately as Alexander,
- 16:19Speaker 2: my middle name, and that seems to be quite helpful.
- 16:23Speaker 3: At this point, I think.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Maybe I should just change my name legally to Alexander
- 16:29Speaker 2: to avoid any confusion with paperwork. My sister said it'll
- 16:33Speaker 2: break my mom's heart. My grandpa passed away a few
- 16:36Speaker 2: years ago, and me having his name is very important
- 16:38Speaker 2: to her. But I don't see how I can be
- 16:40Speaker 2: taken seriously with Calliente as a name. What should I do?
- 16:46Speaker 2: Let us know what you think. Seven oh one two
- 16:48Speaker 2: eight zho one nine eight seven. This is also up
- 16:50Speaker 2: on the big ninety eight point seven Facebook page. Gabe,
- 16:54Speaker 2: what do you think Calliente should do?
- 16:56Speaker 1: I'll tell you right now, Bro, you do not need
- 16:58Speaker 1: to legally change your name. Just go by al Alexander forever.
- 17:01Speaker 1: It's not I don't I would be far too lazy
- 17:04Speaker 1: to go through all the paperwork in the process of
- 17:07Speaker 1: legally changing a name. Who knows, maybe it's a lot
- 17:09Speaker 1: easier in twenty twenty six. Just go by Alexander, man.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I don't think I think we're making a big deal
- 17:15Speaker 1: out of something that doesn't need to be a big deal.
- 17:17Speaker 1: There's a gajillion people who go by their middle name
- 17:20Speaker 1: on planet Earth. I don't think it's that uncommon.
- 17:23Speaker 3: No, I know a lot of people go by their
- 17:24Speaker 3: middle name.
- 17:25Speaker 2: But I guess I understand where Colliente's coming from in
- 17:29Speaker 2: terms of, like, if I'm introducing myself as Alexander to
- 17:32Speaker 2: like these people in finance land.
- 17:34Speaker 3: I feel like there's a lot of paperwork and stuff.
- 17:37Speaker 2: If then legally, when he's signing things it's Colliente.
- 17:40Speaker 1: It just make a bunch of squiggles. Change your signature.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Who cares you can't read my signature?
- 17:45Speaker 3: That's so funny.
- 17:46Speaker 2: I think if I were Colliente, like, yeah, change it,
- 17:51Speaker 2: change it legally if that's it's going to get you
- 17:53Speaker 2: ahead at work, Like if you feel like it will
- 17:57Speaker 2: make everything smoother at work, to legal each change your name.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Just do that and.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Then don't tell your mom like lie. I feel like
- 18:09Speaker 2: sometimes it is okay to lie because realistically, what is
- 18:15Speaker 2: his mom gonna be pulling out his driver's license, like, oh,
- 18:21Speaker 2: let me check your North Dakota.
- 18:24Speaker 1: I mean she's gonna call that. She's gonna call you
- 18:26Speaker 1: Colliente for life regardless.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Yes, she's gonna call you Colliente forever. I feel like
- 18:30Speaker 2: you don't even have to mention this. You're not And
- 18:33Speaker 2: you're also not bringing mom with you on your work meetings.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Are you? Because if you are, maybe that's why things
- 18:39Speaker 3: are weird.
- 18:41Speaker 2: But yeah, I think change it legally if you feel
- 18:44Speaker 2: like that's gonna be the best thing.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Don't tell your mom, and you know what, don't tell
- 18:48Speaker 3: your sister either, because I feel like she'll snitch.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Now.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I mean, I would argue that, like the signature, who
- 18:54Speaker 1: cares the sign If you're worried about the signature part,
- 18:57Speaker 1: you don't need to worry about some struggles.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Like lee when it's typed out, you have to like
- 19:03Speaker 2: Colliente whatever.
- 19:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I wonder if at work, though, you can just go
- 19:07Speaker 1: by out. I don't know enough about finance land. Yeah,
- 19:10Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Can you just go by
- 19:12Speaker 1: Alexander on your work emails and work documents what?
- 19:16Speaker 2: But if you're signing legal paperwork, you have to do
- 19:19Speaker 2: your legal name, your government name.
- 19:22Speaker 1: I think that's why he's like worried. I guess I
- 19:26Speaker 1: just don't know enough about finance Land. I would just
- 19:28Speaker 1: go by Alexander. At work, he.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Can go by Alexander. It's when he gets to the
- 19:34Speaker 2: paperwork portion.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Yeah, can't they just say Colliente Alexander last name?
- 19:40Speaker 3: Yeah, but I think he doesn't want to go through
- 19:41Speaker 3: the Wait a minute, your.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Name's Colliante, Like, I think that's where he's I guess
- 19:46Speaker 2: if that's a hold up, that would maybe be frustrating.
- 19:49Speaker 4: I don't know. I think we're just kind of making
- 19:50Speaker 4: a mountain out of a mole hill.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Okay, well, Gabe thinks you're ridiculous.
- 19:55Speaker 2: No, I'm kidding, But what do you think? Seven oh
- 19:57Speaker 2: one two eight h one nine eight seven. Let know
- 20:00Speaker 2: your thoughts should he change his name on? The problem
- 20:08Speaker 2: is Colliente wants to know if he should change his name.
- 20:13Speaker 2: So he's taken more seriously at work. He's named after
- 20:15Speaker 2: his grandfather. Colliente means hot in Spanish, and he just
- 20:20Speaker 2: feels like it always derails everything at work when people
- 20:23Speaker 2: are like, what her name's Colliente? So he wants to
- 20:27Speaker 2: know should he That's what I picture they do it?
- 20:30Speaker 2: So Colliente wants to know should he legally change his
- 20:34Speaker 2: name to his middle name Alexander or should he just
- 20:39Speaker 2: suffer through being called Colliente?
- 20:42Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 20:42Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 20:45Speaker 1: What are your thoughts on this situation?
- 20:48Speaker 4: This morning? And good morning? Who's this?
- 20:51Speaker 7: He do? What I do know?
- 20:54Speaker 2: Vacation?
- 20:55Speaker 7: Oh?
- 20:55Speaker 2: Why should he just call himself pal?
- 20:57Speaker 3: Oh?
- 20:58Speaker 4: That's key to shorten up his already name.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Just shirting up his name and just go buy a
- 21:04Speaker 3: nickname and call him cal call, and then he.
- 21:05Speaker 4: Doesn't have to change anything.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Could you imagine if I had to go by Gabriel
- 21:08Speaker 1: twenty four to seven, right, and Cal is a nice,
- 21:11Speaker 1: normal regular yeah right right, and then.
- 21:14Speaker 2: He doesn't do any paperwork or anything, and then it's
- 21:16Speaker 2: just Cal by you.
- 21:18Speaker 3: What would we do without you? Duaba?
- 21:20Speaker 2: Exactly exactly. Guys, have a great day.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you you two. We appreciate that. Yeah, I'll
- 21:26Speaker 1: go buy it. I like to go by Gabriel, and
- 21:27Speaker 1: I feel real distinguished in the moment.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Okay, so we're always gonna call you Gabe, but that.
- 21:31Speaker 4: Actually it's been Gabe for thirty five years.
- 21:34Speaker 2: I'm looking at the comments on Facebook because we also
- 21:37Speaker 2: have this up on Facebook, and yeah, that's what everybody
- 21:40Speaker 2: is saying to go Jule said, go by Cal. We
- 21:43Speaker 2: got text saying go by Cal. Steven is Steve, you
- 21:47Speaker 2: can go by Cal. So how come neither of us
- 21:51Speaker 2: saw that? That wasn't even a thought at all? Uh?
- 21:54Speaker 1: Jay did also kind of talk a little bit about
- 21:58Speaker 1: what I was saying, and it's just a bigger headache
- 22:00Speaker 1: than you think changing your name, because she had talked about,
- 22:03Speaker 1: you know, going through this with changing her son's last
- 22:05Speaker 1: name and its birth certificate's, high school college transcripts. All
- 22:09Speaker 1: of these things no longer match, and it ends up
- 22:11Speaker 1: kind of being more of a headache than you think.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't even change my last name when I
- 22:16Speaker 2: got married. I mean I changed it on Facebook and Instagram,
- 22:18Speaker 2: and I felt like that was basically legally binding.
- 22:20Speaker 4: That's real life for sure. Good morning. Who's this?
- 22:23Speaker 8: You know this whole thing about name change. I was
- 22:26Speaker 8: kind of thinking about it. I was first, I was
- 22:29Speaker 8: on the you know, on your side, ky, but I
- 22:32Speaker 8: agree that, you know, don't change your name and it's
- 22:34Speaker 8: just a signature. But then I started thinking about it,
- 22:37Speaker 8: Like Angie was saying, like, so legal documents. Either AI
- 22:41Speaker 8: they're going to question it, or B they might think
- 22:44Speaker 8: that whoever wrote up the documents for him has a
- 22:46Speaker 8: crush on him, because suddenly it's hot Alexander this and
- 22:49Speaker 8: hot Alexander that.
- 22:52Speaker 4: That sounds like a win win to me.
- 22:55Speaker 8: Yeah, on the paperwork, I mean it's kind of a concern.
- 23:01Speaker 4: Maybe that was Rob Rob.
- 23:05Speaker 1: I think with the w today, for sure, I need some.
- 23:11Speaker 6: Good starting off the day with something good. This is
- 23:16Speaker 6: Gabe's good News on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Today's Gabe's Good News of the Day actually takes us
- 23:23Speaker 1: high above the Red River Valley as residents at touch
- 23:27Speaker 1: Mark at Harwood Groves in Fargo, including several military veterans,
- 23:32Speaker 1: they recently got a chance to climb aboard a World
- 23:36Speaker 1: War Two era biplane and take it to the skies,
- 23:40Speaker 1: and for some veterans, it brought back memories of their
- 23:42Speaker 1: time in the service and their lifelong love of aviation.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Family members and staff. They watched as smiles turned into
- 23:49Speaker 1: stories and old memories came rushing back, and it's just
- 23:51Speaker 1: a great reminder that adventure doesn't have an age limit
- 23:55Speaker 1: and sometimes the best way to honor our heroes is to.
- 23:59Speaker 4: Help them young again.
- 24:01Speaker 7: Which is that?
- 24:02Speaker 4: Hey, beautiful story.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Especially with July fourth obviously coming up the two hundred
- 24:06Speaker 1: and fiftieth, it's just kind of a I think gonna
- 24:09Speaker 1: be a week of a lot of stories like this
- 24:11Speaker 1: that just pop up, you know, wherever you happen to
- 24:14Speaker 1: check out your news from all right, you know my
- 24:16Speaker 1: favorite quote, if you don't here, it is broken crans.
- 24:18Speaker 1: They still color and the world is full of nice people.
- 24:20Speaker 1: If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
