0:01
Massive gold and silver news stories today.
0:04
We have a lot to learn together down here in the basement.
0:08
Some fascinating developments that we're going to dive into,
0:11
including $7000 gold prediction by one of the world's biggest
0:16
banks, right, Who's also been very accurate about recent
0:20
predictions as well. What are the big Swiss bankers
0:23
saying about gold? Very, very insightful
0:26
information from our friends in Switzerland.
0:29
We will also talk about big scary.
0:31
If you don't want to be scared, you may want to go somewhere
0:34
else because we got some big scary news from the European
0:38
Central Bank about what we could experience in the coming year.
0:41
You're tough. I'll explain to you why.
0:44
Some shocking silver news. But first, even more shocking.
0:48
I'm sorry I was late. Right before I went to come on,
0:50
the gold and silver price exploded higher.
0:53
Hey, we won't complain about that.
0:55
Let's go out and figure out what is going on.
0:58
I'll tell you what I've been told so far, but maybe you have
1:03
some ideas as well. But as you can see on your
1:06
screen, the spot price of silver, hey, we aren't going to
1:10
complain. Happy Friday basement dwellers
1:14
up 4.88%, silver is up $3.32. And when we go to our good grand
1:22
pappy Mr. Gold, gold is up almost 4 percent, $167 per oz.
1:29
What I've been told, besides all the normal reasons why gold and
1:33
silver should be astronomically higher than they are now, this
1:37
may have to do with options expiration.
1:40
There's different options expiration dates going on right
1:43
now. You know, possibly this has to
1:46
do with some of the shenanigans that's gone on at the COMEX in
1:51
the LBMA, right? But we know the underlying
1:54
force, and that is positive for gold and silver.
1:57
Speaking of positive forces, I'm feeling it when we get together,
2:01
you and me down here in the basement.
2:03
Us together, basement dwellers, it's a real force for precious
2:08
metals. Please, I command you while I
2:11
don't upstairs, Susie, she says I have to be more forceful.
2:15
Subscribe to the channel. Give the video a thumbs up,
2:18
leave a comment in the comment section.
2:20
We want to learn from you. Yeah, you got a good head on
2:23
your shoulders. Your thoughts matter.
2:25
And super chats are always super appreciated.
2:28
Never expected. And Susie's doing some contest
2:31
thing they can do upstairs Susie and say thank you to upstairs
2:35
Susie. Let's go out to city.
2:36
I spoiled it. Hold on, one of the world's
2:41
biggest banks says we could be in store for $7000 gold, and you
2:47
know what that means for the silver price?
2:49
I'm going to say $144. Let's go see what Citibank is
2:55
saying in a couple reasons why we want to pay close attention
2:59
to what Citibank is saying right now.
3:02
This comes from silver trade. They pulled this from Vince
3:05
Lancey's sub stack but unbelievable information.
3:10
City reiterates their call for $7000 gold.
3:14
I'll give you #1 reason. Citibank is huge.
3:18
Citibank has like 200,000 employees, massive bank and they
3:22
are big in the gold and silver sector.
3:25
Then said City lays out its short term bearish but long term
3:30
bullish case for gold and silver.
3:33
Keeping in mind, OK this is important, they were bearish
3:38
last month when no one else was. They were the lone wolf saying
3:43
they weren't real positive on gold and silver and wait till
3:46
you hear the shocking information about March and why
3:50
you should be proud of yourself. OK.
3:52
But none the less, city was the only one, the lone wolf right
3:56
out there saying they thought gold and silver when we're going
3:59
to go down. And they were right as we know.
4:02
And they've been very good on oil.
4:05
OK, So we are taking them very seriously.
4:09
Here's the meat. City frames gold and silver as
4:13
risk sensitive assets in the near term despite the
4:17
inflationary backdrop. During the Iran driven energy
4:21
shock, gold was sold off sharply, declining roughly 15%
4:25
as it trades in line with the broader risk assets rather than
4:28
a safe haven pressured by higher real rates and a stronger
4:32
dollar. But the report argues that this
4:36
behavior is consistent with past crisises crisis anyway, where
4:43
gold typically falls initially during liquidity stress before
4:48
stabilizing and eventually rebounding ahead of the broader
4:55
markets. Guys.
4:56
And that's what this chart says, and I'll finish this.
5:00
We'd note saying essentially the same thing about gold, echoing
5:04
Mr. Hartnett, who's from City. I believe the 1st 90 days are a
5:09
crapshoot. The next six months are bullish
5:13
historically. And that's what this chart shows
5:16
right here. List all the crises over here on
5:19
the left and how initially the reaction that we got from gold.
5:24
Think back, thank, thank, thank, C-19.
5:27
What was that five years ago? Think the great financial
5:30
crisis, gold and silver went down, down, down initially, but
5:35
they're the first to rebound. Are we seeing that today with
5:39
those spectacular numbers that we looked at earlier?
5:41
It's going to be interesting to follow this as it as it
5:44
develops. Thank you to 1st Mint for
5:48
sponsoring Ron's basement guys, I need sponsors.
5:52
We don't charge the viewers anything for this.
5:55
Not that you'd pay anyway, but nonetheless.
5:57
On a serious note, the sponsors. Excuse me?
6:07
The sponsors make this possible. First Mint is an awesome sponsor
6:11
#1 because you guys love First Mint.
6:14
They're a silver specialist mint in Las Vegas, NV.
6:19
Go check them out, OK? They got great prices, great
6:22
selection, great service, and they have a discount code that
6:25
I'm going to pull up for you right now.
6:28
There it is on your screen, circled in green.
6:31
VIPRB. Remember that they've got a
6:34
special going going $2 off on their cast bars.
6:38
All these are unique products to 1st meant.
6:41
And again, it's a premium retail buying experience for silver.
6:46
Hey, while we're out here, let's also say thank you to channel
6:48
sponsor First Mining Gold. I have a interview coming out
6:52
later today with Paul Morris and Richard Wong, executives at
6:56
First Mining Gold, their development stage gold mining
6:59
company in Canada with two huge projects, Spring Pole in Ontario
7:05
and Duparque located in Quebec. There's their website, you can
7:09
check them out there. Now let's get ready.
7:11
OK, hold on this other massive story.
7:15
Hold on, guys. Are you there basement dwellers?
7:19
Thank you for being here. Another massive story that gives
7:23
us an explanation about what's going on right now in the gold
7:27
and silver market. Turkey sold a massive amount of
7:30
gold. The big important thing here is
7:33
why did Turkey do this? And I'll give you the
7:35
explanation, but let's go look at this first.
7:39
Is that is that a picture of your basement?
7:41
I'm not sure. But none the less, Turkey sold
7:44
or swapped 58 tons of gold in two weeks through March 20th, 58
7:51
tons. It's a massive amount of gold,
7:54
big story in the precious metal sector, and there's a reason why
7:59
it's a big story. I apologize.
8:04
I'm having some problems with my voice instrument.
8:07
The reason why it's a big story is because it explains what's
8:10
been happening in the precious metals market over the last
8:13
three or four weeks. After the war broke out, there
8:16
was a rush for liquidity, which is normal.
8:19
Like we just talked about that report from city.
8:21
This affected gold and obviously silver as well.
8:24
But even more important, these countries in the Middle East
8:28
that are dependent on oil, are dependent on that local economy
8:32
had to sell a lot of their their gold, right?
8:35
So while gold is a safe haven asset, it actually did what it
8:38
was supposed to do for those people, right?
8:42
I mean, they're they they're in a horrible situation over there.
8:45
So they needed to liquidate their gold just to pay the
8:49
bills, basically. OK.
8:51
So that's why while we look at what happened to gold and
8:54
silver, we also have to keep it within context that gold and
8:58
silver to a large extent did what they were supposed to do.
9:01
You know, maybe the precious metals you own, right?
9:04
I, I never plan on selling any metal myself personally, but I
9:08
would if I got into a crisis situation upstairs.
9:12
Susie might have a different idea on that.
9:14
But so this big story about Turkey really gives us some
9:19
solace as to what gold and silver can do.
9:22
They performed the way they were supposed to perform.
9:25
But I don't want to scare you. It ain't it's not pretty out
9:32
there. OK, the the head of the European
9:34
Central Bank, Christine Lagarde put out some very we're going to
9:38
watch a little video. But let's and and look at the
9:42
reasons why the next year or two, they're saying now could be
9:47
like the cats out of the bag with what happened in the energy
9:50
market and how it could have a major, major impact on the world
9:55
economies. And look right, we know the
9:57
reason why we follow that is because if the world economy
10:00
truly goes into a deep recession like a lot of people are calling
10:04
for, we will have money printing and liquidity coming at us like
10:09
we've never experienced before. It will be good for gold and
10:14
silver. It will be wind in the sales of
10:17
the gold and silver price. But let's go out and see what
10:20
Christine Lagarde had to say. OK, This came from up wrong 1.
10:29
Hold on. What happened here?
10:32
Uh oh. Oh.
10:33
All right. Now I got it.
10:34
Sorry, guys. This came from Mario, Mario
10:37
Nafal, who has almost 3.2 million followers on X.
10:43
He says the head of the ECB issued A brutal warning.
10:47
Financial markets do not understand what they are in for.
10:51
Christine Lagarde says the damage from the Iran war is
10:55
already done. The ship has sailed, pardon the
10:59
pun, because they're not sailing through or the ships that aren't
11:02
sailing. You get my point.
11:04
Through the Straits of Hormuz. And it's going to last for
11:07
years. OK, I'm going to warn you.
11:09
This could be a little disturbing, but I want us to be
11:13
prepared. Let's listen to what Christine
11:15
has to say. Christine Lagarde.
11:18
We are facing a real shock that is probably beyond what we can
11:24
imagine at the moment. I would agree with that.
11:26
I mean, I'm, I look at financial markets and I think there's some
11:29
kind of cognitive dissonance going on.
11:31
Do you think there is just a sort of blind optimism that
11:34
somehow this is going to be over and the world will go back to
11:37
normal and people are going to suddenly wake up?
11:39
Or will it be a gradual realization that there are going
11:43
to be really significant consequences?
11:45
Well, maybe they're overly optimistic and determined to
11:48
stay optimistic in the hope that they positive scenario will
11:52
materialize and we will be back to normal in relatively short
11:56
time, which is not what the the technical experts are telling us
12:00
in terms of capacity extraction, refinery distribution because
12:06
too much has already been damaged and there is no way that
12:09
it can be restored in a matter of months.
12:12
Most people are actually talking about years.
12:14
OK, enough of that, Christine. So guys, be prepared.
12:20
Like I said, and, and, and, and the smartest people in the room
12:24
are saying this like the financial markets aren't really
12:27
like up to speed and awake about what's going on.
12:31
Again, in a quick nutshell, the reason why us as gold and silver
12:34
investors pay attention to this money printing will be on the
12:38
way. And and that's under the best
12:41
case scenario, meaning that the situation gets resolved in the
12:45
matter of the next weeks or months.
12:47
If it gets drawn out. Oh my gosh, right.
12:50
We could be in a whole new world economically, but also with gold
12:55
and silver and you know, buckle up butter cups, because it's
12:59
going to get very interesting. I forgot to share this.
13:02
Let's go back here, 1 slide. But when it comes to Turkey, we
13:07
looked at this yesterday, but I wanted to show this again.
13:11
This is a jeweler in Belichick. I probably pronounced that
13:14
wrong. That's a city in northern
13:16
Turkey, a historic city. And he says I've been a jeweler
13:21
for 28 years, that this is the first time there is no gold.
13:26
If there were, I would be selling it.
13:29
OK, let's move on. How does this sound, right?
13:32
And you know, look, I get in trouble for my optimistic
13:36
viewpoint on where the silver and gold price are going to go.
13:39
Where do you think they're going to go?
13:41
I think in my life, right, that I will see silver prices easily.
13:45
It's $600.00 per oz, OK. And we're going to look at a
13:49
chart right now, which is numbers.
13:52
It's real. It's from Tavi Costa, one of the
13:55
smartest people out there, showing us that the silver
13:59
price, that the commodities in general could go up 8 times,
14:03
yes, 8 times from where they are right now.
14:07
OK. And it's black and white, and
14:09
we're going to look at it. And I love Tavi Costa.
14:12
I'm a big fan, especially when he's giving me information that
14:17
indicates we could have a rocket ship.
14:20
And I'll explain to you what this is he says.
14:21
He says it's only appropriate to revisit this chart after the
14:27
recent moves in the market. And yes, excuse me, we are still
14:32
in the early innings of a regime shift from financial assets,
14:38
right, make believe paper, right, whatever to hard assets.
14:43
The reality is simple. Commodity markets play a
14:45
critical role, right? Oil, all the commodity silver,
14:49
gold, yet their size guys still fails to match they're
14:53
important. The latest macro update with key
14:56
technical setups on his sub stack.
14:59
But this is the chart that can make us smile guys.
15:03
What this shows OK, is the is is the commodities to equities
15:09
index. It's the S&P GSCI.
15:14
You want to know what that stands for?
15:15
I'm going to tell you 'cause you'll be at the Country Club
15:18
later and you can talk about the GSCI index and, and, and, and
15:23
when your friends ask what it is, you can tell them that
15:26
stands for the Goldman Sachs Commodities index, the Goldman
15:31
Sachs commodity index, OK, versus the S&P 500.
15:35
So this is a ratio, right? As we can see right now on that
15:41
ratio, we are way down here on the lower right side.
15:45
I just circled it. We're going to say around 1:00.
15:48
As you can see at other times in recent history.
15:52
Uh oh, hold on, I forgot to turn my phone off.
15:57
Sorry guys. Other times in recent history we
16:01
were up here right at what, 8 1/2 in around 2011?
16:07
And other times in history we were as high as 9 or 10 right
16:11
around the early 90s. And of course in the 70s, right
16:14
when there was the boom, we were up at 8:00.
16:16
This represents an 8X return in commodities.
16:23
This is real. These are real numbers.
16:26
And absolutely gold and silver are part of the gold Goldman
16:31
Sachs, right? That's why they call them gold.
16:33
The only thing I ever liked about Goldman Sachs was the 1st
16:36
4 letters of their name, gold. But gold and silver are
16:39
absolutely in that index. These are real historical
16:44
numbers that indicate the commodities in general, but
16:48
including gold and silver relative to right, relative to
16:52
the let me show that one more time.
16:54
Hold on, we're let me get back on there.
16:56
Relative to the general markets are way undervalued.
16:59
Now here's what could happen, right?
17:01
It could go up by 8X, right? No doubt.
17:05
OK, But there's two ways that could happen if, right, the S&P
17:09
500 stayed where it was, and gold and silver.
17:13
The amount of money in gold and silver and the commodities index
17:16
went up by 8X. It could happen that way.
17:19
Or, you know, or we could have the S&P 500 drop, Oh my gosh,
17:24
God forbid, by 50%. But gold and silver also go up
17:30
at the same time. They could bring us back to a
17:32
ratio level up there, right? So there's two ways that could
17:36
happen. Maybe it'd be a 4X or a 3X in
17:38
the commodities index, but a big drop and it would still make
17:41
that ratio go to that level either way, right?
17:44
We're not going to, we're not going to complain about that.
17:47
And Speaking of charts, Rashad was right.
17:53
Hey, what do you say we go out and do a quick check on what the
17:56
gold and silver prices and then we're going to hear what our
17:58
favorite, our favorite analyst, Rashad is saying about what's
18:02
happening recently in a very interesting chart pattern.
18:06
I'll let you be the judge, but let's see where we are, OK?
18:11
We're still up $3 in silver and almost $150.00 in gold.
18:18
That is crazy. And before we came on, I
18:20
thought, well, that must be because the US dollar index
18:24
crashed, but it's not. I mean it's come back a little
18:28
bit now. I mean it's actually up today by
18:31
point O3 still it just under 100.
18:34
So it's not like the dollar crashed or anything and was at
18:39
one hundred 100.13. So this is very interesting,
18:44
what's happening today and let's just make sure the national debt
18:47
didn't get erased. Nope, it's still there, $39
18:50
trillion. All right, let's run over to our
18:53
friend Rashad who has some, it's been very accurate and has some
18:58
very optimistic viewpoints on where the gold and silver price
19:01
are going. But he gives us this.
19:04
Yep, we got it up. He said I think silver completed
19:07
the formation of a right shoulder of an inverse head and
19:12
shoulder pattern. OK, so let's pull up his chart
19:15
and see what he's talking about because with the price action,
19:18
we love you Rashad, that we're having today.
19:21
This may be even more pertinent. So just so you know, a head and
19:26
shoulder pattern, we talk about the cup and handle wedges, all
19:30
that. A head and shoulders pattern, is
19:32
this right? You get a shoulder, a pull back,
19:37
the price goes up and creates a head, and then you get another
19:41
shoulder, and then the price goes down.
19:43
That's not what we want, OK, And that's not what we have.
19:46
Don't you worry. All right.
19:48
So in inverse head and shoulders looks like this, the price
19:53
starts here, it goes down, it comes back up OK And then it
19:58
goes down again and then it comes back up.
20:01
OK, makes another shoulder. So that's a shoulder.
20:05
That's a head, and that's a shoulder.
20:11
OK, it may look like something else to you if you have a dirty
20:14
mind. And yes, I have a dirty mind,
20:16
but that's an inverse head and shoulder.
20:18
It's like a person standing on their head.
20:21
Get all those other thoughts out of your mind.
20:22
But this is actually good because then what happens,
20:26
right, is it breaks upward. OK, Whoop, Dee, whoop, right?
20:31
And that's what he's saying right here, as you can see.
20:34
All right, well, hold on. Let me get rid of everything.
20:37
That dirty picture he's saying. There's a left shoulder ahead,
20:43
right when the price dipped down to what, 6162 and then, right,
20:48
that we have a right shoulder. Hold on right here and then
20:55
right, potentially A breakout, which today so far, Yabba dabba
21:00
Doo, happy Friday, right? That looks like that could be
21:03
the case, but let's talk about something.
21:06
I was shocked. I'm going to shock you.
21:08
Are you ready to be shocked? Silver investors in particular
21:12
gold and silver, but I'm going to give you a compliment and
21:16
I'll include myself. Us basement dwellers, we are
21:19
tough. I had no idea that this next
21:22
data point was the case, and it only shows the resilience and
21:26
strength that investors in the precious metals have.
21:30
Happy Friday, by the way, and don't forget to subscribe to the
21:34
channel. I'm going to show you that data
21:35
point next. Let's check in with upstairs
21:37
Susie to see if anything's going on.
21:40
Susie, are you there? I'm here.
21:43
And. I wanted to see.
21:47
The four the five group Supercats and a new when you
21:50
have. A minute I will and.
21:53
Darling, the gold. OK, Thank you.
21:55
Upstairs, Susie, did you ever figure out why gold and silver
22:03
skyrocketed this morning Over. Yeah, well, nobody knows.
22:13
It's weird. The US dollar is not, is not
22:16
crashing. the US debt is still there.
22:19
The other thing, and we're going to look at this later is the 20
22:22
year bond yield. Big reasons.
22:24
And, and, and we're, we'll do an update on that as well.
22:28
But before we do that, oh, I promised you to share with you
22:31
why you're so strong here. Oh my gosh, take your blood
22:35
pressure medicine. I'm going to change the screen
22:37
right now, Bar chart, which is a big account, right?
22:41
Yeah, 500,000 followers points this out and this is actually
22:47
good news. Breaking news, silver down more
22:53
than 28% this month. Yeah, thanks a lot bar chart.
22:56
Thanks for rubbing it in. On track for its biggest monthly
23:02
loss in 46 years. I had no idea.
23:07
Now I think the last day of the month is Tuesday of next week
23:10
and with today's price action, this may get erased.
23:13
But guys, even that January move that we had right was actually,
23:19
I remember everybody saying, right, that it was silver was
23:22
actually positive. That's that candle right there,
23:27
OK. And then we were positive in
23:29
February, But this right, what we've experienced in March, this
23:35
giant red candle would be right, could be like the worst month
23:41
for silver in 46 years. And I got to ask you this
23:45
question because I'm just not feeling it.
23:48
I don't know if you are, but I'm not like I'm, I'm feeling more
23:51
optimistic about silver right now.
23:54
And we talked about this even when the price was exploding
23:58
higher, right? Like if we can consolidate,
24:01
right? And, and, and if, if the price
24:03
of silver can consolidate in the 60s or 70s, we're doing pretty
24:08
darn good, right? I mean, there's that other crazy
24:11
data point going around. Like if you're depressed about a
24:14
$7068 silver price, remember that just three months ago the
24:19
price of silver was around $70 per oz.
24:23
We're going to go out and check on that 20.
24:24
We got a lot more to cover by the way, but we're going to go
24:28
check on that on that 20 year bond yield.
24:30
But before we do that, let's let's confirm that and let's get
24:34
an update on the silver futures price.
24:37
Man, crazy activity today in the silver market.
24:42
This is the COMEX may contract for silver and we're looking at
24:47
a one day chart. I mean, what is going on here?
24:51
Look at this, right? Like silver went from $68 to
24:55
$71. Look like right here.
24:58
Nobody knows. I'm.
24:59
I'm not. If somebody knows, leave Susie a
25:03
message. But then dropped back and then
25:06
shot up again. But that's not why we're here.
25:08
I almost forgot. Let's look at a three month
25:10
chart of silver. Yeah.
25:12
I mean, look at this. This is where we were three
25:15
months ago. Again, this is the futures.
25:20
This is 3 months. As you can see right here.
25:23
We were right here and where are we now?
25:27
Right there. But what I, what I want you to
25:30
do is think back to here. That was what, December 27th, 2
25:35
days after Christmas, OK, You were still working on all your
25:38
Christmas presents. If we had told each other on
25:42
this day, right, December 27th that all right when we had about
25:50
$70 silver that we were going to be at $70 silver all the way out
25:55
here three months from now, we would have said, hey, that's
25:58
awesome, that's great. You know, that means we built a
26:01
solid base during that period. Now, you know, and I know what
26:04
happened, silver went up $50 per oz on what January 27th all the
26:10
way to $120.00 per oz. But still, guys, I feel like,
26:15
and I look, it feels like to me that we built a really solid
26:20
base. I was talking to some executives
26:22
from one of the big bullion dealers last night, right?
26:25
And, and I was like, man, you know, like if silver gets down
26:29
into the 60s, low 60s, it's going to, how do I say this?
26:34
Like I've I've bought silver for years.
26:36
Like I feel like it's time to back the truck up almost with
26:39
what's going on. My phone is blowing up.
26:42
Let me make sure I don't have anybody giving us some insights
26:45
and what's going on. OK, Here's my man, Mr. M says.
26:50
He says I'm watching now. Hello, Mr. M He's like the
26:53
smartest guy out there in precious metal.
26:58
OK. All right.
27:04
The walk, everybody gives Susie a high 5, high 5, high 5.
27:08
She's the sweetest lady in the world.
27:10
Very, very lucky. I'd start to tear up every time
27:13
I say that. Mister M says this.
27:15
Watching now, it will be great if we get a strong finish today
27:19
on a Friday. That's at the end of the month
27:22
and the end of the quarter. Yeah, I like that.
27:27
Right. Great point, right.
27:29
Everybody looks at weekly charts.
27:32
Monthly charts and quarterly charts.
27:34
Let's go silver. All right, let's go gold.
27:37
Absolutely. Where was I?
27:39
I'm going to I'm going to bring up the Super chats guys, Don't
27:41
you worry, France and actually have you ever been to France?
27:47
I went to France back in October of last year.
27:49
Paris, I stayed in the first district.
27:51
They were like a the way they did their city.
27:53
It's like AI don't know spiral. I was right in the very middle.
27:57
I was, I'll be honest with you, before I was going to France or
28:00
Paris, I was kind of not looking forward to it because I was
28:02
like, oh, Paris, it was cool. It was I've been all over the
28:06
world. I would go back to Paris anyway.
28:08
Those French. That's not the point.
28:10
This is not a Travel Channel, certainly not a self help
28:15
channel, but it's a gold and silver channel and those French
28:20
and there's a big reason why this is important took all their
28:23
gold back. Look at this and but there's
28:25
another important thing for us to remember about this that
28:30
tells us what's going on Hold on this darn phone.
28:33
I got a all right I'm not going to look anymore.
28:36
I promise guys, but let's see what we get here.
28:38
OK, Mr. M puts on his sunglasses.
28:41
All right, let's go to France. And why this is a big deal.
28:46
This another one from Vince. Lancey.
28:48
Vince is great. BBL's ghost.
28:50
Soren. Theck.
28:51
Soren. Soren Beck.
28:53
Anyway, I like him. I was actually a guest on the
28:56
show, and I'm not sharing the right screen, which now I am.
28:59
There he is. BBL's ghost.
29:02
He was a guest on the show once, I don't know, a year and a half
29:04
ago. Great, great guys.
29:06
Super smart, super respected. France repatriates its gold.
29:11
I'm going to tell you why this is a big deal.
29:13
France has effectively repeat repatriated a portion of its
29:16
gold reserves previously held abroad, relocating the
29:19
equivalent of 129 metric tons into domestic vaults in Paris
29:27
through a structured reserve upgrade that generated a multi
29:31
billion zero gain, according to Reuters.
29:34
The Bank of France completed a program that replaced gold
29:39
previously held in New York, Right, New York, NY, that song.
29:46
How's that go? New anyway, with a newly
29:49
acquired internationally compliant bars now stored
29:53
domestically in Paris. And I love this Vince shows the
29:56
picture New York to Paris. But I'll tell you why that's a
30:01
big deal because of this. Those French are smart, OK.
30:07
And they were actually probably the catalyst that caused the
30:11
United States of America in 1971 to get off the gold standard.
30:16
Yes, 1971 President Richard Nixon on a Sunday night, I think
30:20
it was. They always do crazy stuff on
30:22
Sunday nights when on national television and said we are
30:25
removing the US dollar from no longer will be back buy gold and
30:30
it'll but don't worry it'll only be temporary.
30:34
Well, here we are Nixon 30. I don't know 57 years later.
30:41
Next time they do that we're going to have them defined
30:45
specifically how much time they mean when they say temporary.
30:50
So, but that was caused big point here with France.
30:54
Charles de Gaulle sent French Navy ships in 1971 steaming
31:00
across the ocean to New York saying we want our gold.
31:04
We want to give you your paper dollars, right?
31:08
And in turn, we want to cash them in for gold like you said
31:12
you would do. And that's when and it was
31:14
because of the, it was because they were, they needed to print
31:16
money. That's why they did it.
31:18
That's why they took the United States off the gold standard in
31:20
1971. It was the Vietnam War, right?
31:24
Oh, what's going on now Think about it.
31:29
So that's why it's a big deal. Those French are smart, OK, and
31:33
it's a beautiful city. I love Paris.
31:34
I, I hope I get to go back someday and let's just just to
31:39
reiterate to you the crisis that we are in.
31:42
This is shocking. So be prepared when I'm going to
31:44
show you and you can be grateful.
31:46
I want you to think about where you're sitting right now.
31:49
I'm in my comfortable, warm basement with you.
31:52
Wherever you are, you're likely comfortable, you're likely doing
31:55
well. There are people in the world
31:57
who are suffering right now. And I'm going to give you one
32:00
example that shows just how extreme this situation is in our
32:05
country. Silver trade showed shared this
32:09
Hold on. I'm not sharing the right
32:12
screen, am I? Oh shoot, bear with me.
32:15
Oh my gosh hold on guys, I'm back.
32:18
Hold on one second. This will just take a second and
32:22
here we go here we go share this.
32:27
Not what we're going to look at that's Rashad.
32:29
This is what we're going to look at and get it up on full screen
32:35
for you. OK, video, massive lines for gas
32:40
and diesel in India as fuel shortages explode across Asia.
32:47
And wait till you see this. It's only 20 seconds long.
32:50
But this I found to be quite shocking and I think indicates
32:54
to us what is happening in the world right now.
32:57
And like Christine Lagarde said, this is not going to take weeks
33:00
or months to fix. They're saying years.
33:04
Look at this. I think those dudes are all on
33:10
motorcycles. Look at them.
33:18
They're not waiting for Taylor Swift concert.
33:21
If it's right, I mean, that's almost as bad as the one of
33:26
those. So that's what's happening in
33:30
our world right now. We got to do something special.
33:33
Let's pull them up. Let's say hello to the Super
33:36
chatters. Wow, you guys are incredible.
33:39
First one, Jimmy Blue to you. Thank you.
33:42
I'm one of five. You are.
33:44
Thank you. Look at that picture.
33:46
Hey, buddy, you are famous on the Internet.
33:49
Wow. Thank you for.
33:50
Oh, Susie says what I said. OK, OK, Jimmy, Jimmy, I'll hold
33:56
on. I I got to get better glasses.
33:58
Jimmy Blue. OK, All right, let's move on to
34:02
the next one. ODBG, my old buddy.
34:05
Old Dirty Bastard Garage. Rejoice, your reception.
34:09
Overlords, Reptilian overlords are allowing the devil's metal
34:13
to rise into the 70s. All right.
34:16
Thank you. I always said ODBGO.
34:19
Dirty Bastard Garage. He's been around the channel.
34:21
He's been a basement dweller with us for a long time.
34:23
He's got the best username on YouTube.
34:26
Thank you, ODBGOBD. You know what I'm trying to say.
34:30
Next one. All right, hold on.
34:32
Brian Nelson, my friend. Wow, I'll be the second.
34:36
Thank you, Brian. You're famous on the Internet.
34:39
All right, this is Susie. Susie had a lot of fun doing
34:43
this. San Sandrana O6.
34:46
Wow, Thank you, Sandrana. Very pretty picture of you.
34:50
And you're famous on the Internet.
34:53
And old Dirty Bastard garage again.
34:56
Wow. 5th super chat. Thank you, ODBG.
35:00
All right, guys. Never expected, always
35:03
appreciated. We love being with you down here
35:05
in the basement. We love gold and silver.
35:09
We love community and there's nothing like it.
35:12
So have a great day. OK?
35:14
Take care of yourself and I'll look forward to seeing you guys
35:17
next time. All right, Thank you.
35:19
Bye. Bye.
