MINI EP 42: Testing Your OWN Spirit- Spiritual Posturing or Pure Obedience?
When we make spiritual declarations, decisions, sacrifices, or draw "lines in the sand", how often do we test our OWN spirit? What is our heart motivation behind it? Perhaps it is 100% right, and even following the Lord Jesus Christ fully and obediently. But the danger is often this: Satan or our own ego/human soulishness can get in the way and corrupt what started pure and take it to an extreme, or become a stench in the nostrils of those around us. We are to be Salt and Light- Yes!- but only the Holy Spirit's conviction should offend others, not something from ourselves. Jesus and His Word…
